  1. Last week we talked about the assembly.

  2. Today we're going to talk about the architect.

  3. Amen. Turn over to Matthew, Chapter

    Matthew 16 chapter mention

  4. 16. Can y'all understand me?

  5. OK, I think I sound like. Yeah, I'm trying to think of his

  6. name now. Johnson's Darth Vader.

  7. That's funny. Robert Kennedy Junior, right?

  8. Yeah, I feel like I'm not. Have you noticed that?

  9. I understand. I understand him better now.

  10. At first it was like really difficult, but now I've gotten

  11. used to his voice. So I'm Robert Kennedy junior

  12. today turn over to Matthew chapter 16.

    Matthew 16 chapter mention

  13. We'll start in verse 16. Simon Peter answered, you are

  14. the Christ, the son of the living God and Jesus said to

  15. him, blessed are you Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood

  16. did not reveal this to you, but my father who was in heaven.

  17. And also I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I

  18. will build my church. And the gates of hell, hell or

  19. Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the

  20. Kingdom of heaven. And whatever you bind on earth

  21. shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth

  22. shall have been loosed in heaven.

  23. Hallelujah. Aren't you glad that God built

  24. his church? He's building his church, man.

  25. It's so amazing. And so the church is very

  26. powerful thing. It is the most powerful thing on

  27. the planet. Unfortunately, I do believe that

  28. in many places it's become kind of institutionalized and has

  29. fallen off from its original intent.

  30. But we want to be in the original intent of what the Lord

  31. wanted to do in this particular passage.

  32. Obviously we started in verse 16 because he said you are the

  33. Christ, which is the King, the Messiah, the acknowledgement

  34. that Jesus is this king that was coming.

  35. And he said upon that revelation that I'm king, I'm going to

  36. build my church. So the kingdom's a big deal.

  37. Now, you know, when you get around some people, when you

  38. start talking Kingdom, they see it as a subject.

  39. And so, you know, although we talk about the Kingdom all the

  40. time, you know, it can sometimes seem like, you know, we're only

  41. staying on one subject, but the reality is the whole Bible's

  42. about the Kingdom. It's about a king, his Kingdom

  43. and his royal offspring, and all the subjects are connected to

  44. that. And so the Christ came and he's

  45. going to build his church and it says the gates of hell will not

  46. overpower it. So the one that he's building

  47. the gates of hell will not overpower it.

  48. Now, that doesn't mean that the gates of hell won't won't mount

  49. and attack against it. But you know as well as I do, no

  50. weapon formed against the church is going to prosper, Amen.

  51. So even though things attack His church, they won't prosper.

  52. They'll never take it out. Only way the church will be

  53. taken out is when Jesus comes back and pulls the church.

  54. That's the only way it'll be taken out of the earth, Amen.

  55. And when you function in the church, then you're given the

  56. keys of the Kingdom. Notice that when he builds his

  57. church, he says, now I'll give you keys of the Kingdom because

  58. the church was all about advancing the Kingdom in the

  59. earth. Amen.

  60. Now Psalms 127 verse one says this.

  61. Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who

  62. build it. And I don't know about you, but

  63. I don't want to be wasting my time.

  64. I don't want to waste my time. And you know, I've grown up in

  65. church my whole life. My mom when she got pregnant

  66. with my older sister, but don't tell my sister that she wants to

  67. act like she's younger than me, OK?

  68. But when she was going to give birth to my sister, she prayed

  69. and said, Lord, if you'll give me a healthy child, you know,

  70. I'll take them to church. Now.

  71. God wanted her to have healthy children.

  72. And so Kim was born healthy and and mom had just gotten born

  73. again not too long before that. And so she started going to

  74. church. And so you know, me and my

  75. sister grew up in church our whole lives.

  76. I remember one time I wasn't feeling great one day and I was

  77. going to stay home with my dad. My dad didn't really go to

  78. church, not till the end, but I was going to stay home and I'm

  79. was telling my mom I wasn't feeling well, but she knew that

  80. I felt good enough. I could have gone to church.

  81. So she said, Earl Wayne, Now listen, if you're going to stay

  82. home with your dad because you're not feeling good this

  83. morning, know this, this afternoon you're going to not be

  84. feeling good either. So don't even be out.

  85. Don't ask me to go outside and play.

  86. Well, you know, I got, I got healed pretty quick and I went

  87. to church that day because playing outside was more

  88. important than hanging out at home.

  89. Amen. The Bible in basic English says

  90. it this way. If the Lord is not helping the

  91. builders, then the building of a house is to no purpose.

  92. You know, through the years when I've been in different churches,

  93. you know, it's caused me to ask a lot of questions.

  94. You know, you want to be able to see His church function as he

  95. designed. And so you're always moving

  96. towards that. The fact that Jesus Christ is

  97. coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle, which means

  98. then there must be one that's going to unify, that's going to

  99. come together and walk in brotherly love, that's going to

  100. be passionate about their fit in the church and do it.

  101. And there'll be no competition, only we'll only be complementing

  102. each other. Amen.

  103. The Good News Bible says it this way.

  104. If the Lord does not build the house, the work of the builders

  105. is useless. And the New Living Translation

  106. says it this way. Unless the Lord builds a house,

  107. the work of the builders is wasted.

  108. So we don't want to have wasted time again, You know, it's not

  109. that there's any, there's nothing wrong with someone

  110. putting, you know, a sign and saying who's the pastor of a

  111. church. I get that.

  112. I don't have a problem with that.

  113. But you know, we've always endeavored to make sure that we

  114. focus that this is not my church.

  115. You know, this is His church. I'm just pastoring and I'm just

  116. the apostle in this local body that's here in Saint Augustine

  117. and, you know, because I don't want to take credit for

  118. something that I'm not doing. Amen.

  119. Plus, you know, I'm just, I love the Lord and I'm fearful.

  120. I have a reverential fear of what he's doing.

  121. And you know, I'm always having to ask, how do you want to do

  122. this, Dad? What, what do you want to do?

  123. How do you want to do it? In this passage of Scripture

  124. between Matthew 16 and then also here in Psalms 127, we see that

  125. we're building something. And then the Matthew 16, when we

  126. take this Greek word, it's where we get this term architect, OK?

  127. So what's really powerful about this is that when God is

  128. building his church, he is the architect, OK?

  129. He's the one who's, in essence, drafting out how the thing's

  130. supposed to be built, OK? And the reason why this is

  131. really powerful is because he knows where things need to go,

  132. OK? And everything that's on the

  133. plans is very important. You know, let's put up the plans

  134. for JC Penney. We've just about finished the JC

  135. Penney part. It's really close.

  136. And all we have to do is deal with the what is it the current?

  137. We don't have that section build out yet.

  138. But when, when we put when we, you know, are sitting around

  139. talking to everyone, we're saying, what do you need?

  140. You know, we got, we got with a pastor Vanessa, when it came to

  141. the children's ministry or, you know, treasure hall preschool,

  142. what did you need? I mean, Brian and I had a

  143. phenomenal looking children's area only to have it moved

  144. because some of the functionality needed to be

  145. adjusted. It seemed to be seemed that we

  146. needed to move some rooms around to make things look a little

  147. better. OK.

  148. And then we were going to have our children's ministry in a

  149. particular area and we're like, man, if we have 1000 seat

  150. auditorium, which right now it's scaled at 1032 and we end up

  151. having kids, we we're going to need a much bigger children's

  152. facility. So you know, we had to end up

  153. taking up most of our storage that's there in JC Penney.

  154. And we're like, we're going to end up just having to build a

  155. warehouse so that we can put our store, our stuff in it.

  156. They'll get it up here in a minute.

  157. We'll, I'll keep going on. But the Lord, he is very

  158. detailed in how he builds a church.

  159. And we are very unique as individuals within his church.

  160. Before you and your mother's womb, God knew you.

  161. OK, OK, God knew you. OK, I'm going to probably walk

  162. over here a little bit. This section down here is our

  163. children's right here. And then you can see the

  164. sanctuary up there. And then this section over here

  165. is what we'll do. Nautilus.

  166. That's about 4000 square feet over here.

  167. This is some live classes. We'll be able to get about 7

  168. classrooms. There's for Kingdom Institute

  169. Faith Christian University and then our Egg Faith live classes

  170. offices are located there. This would be where the

  171. preschool will be at completely got a huge lobby area right here

  172. and then up there in that corner that we all we finished messing

  173. with yesterday, we were able to keep those particular walls and

  174. we'll be able to put bathrooms in that space.

  175. OK, so with that being said, man, God's doing some pretty

  176. awesome things. Now, again, what we want to do

  177. is we want to build the sanctuary 1st, and that's walls.

  178. And then just buying the nicer chairs than these because you'll

  179. sit and listen longer if you're in nice chairs.

  180. Hey man. So we'll get some really nice

  181. chairs there on the backside of the sanctuary.

  182. And then the top corners, those are risers.

  183. So they're going to actually go up.

  184. That way we can get 1032 seats in there.

  185. So that's pretty awesome. So we'll basically double in

  186. size and what we're in here. Amen.

  187. So this word, this word I'll build my church is where we get

  188. this. It comes from a compound Greek

  189. word of which has the the term architect in it.

  190. And what's interesting about this is that this word, when you

  191. break it down, it talks about building a building that is

  192. meant for public, for a public event.

  193. So what's important here is that a lot of times, and we've seen

  194. this through the years, you know, that we're like, we need

  195. that in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God

  196. and the word was God. OK, so God is the author of

  197. words and he has the right to define these words because

  198. through the years we have, you know, redefined words.

  199. We have because of culture, you know, it's we've kind of taken

  200. on our own thought processes by it, you know, and again, but

  201. when you actually start breaking these words down in their

  202. original language, then you realize there was some real

  203. intent concerning that. So when this word church is

  204. there, I'll build my church. He said.

  205. I'll build a building that is to be to have a public event.

  206. This is why even though the church itself is not the

  207. building, OK, but the church meets in a building.

  208. OK, Now there are a lot of people out there that have

  209. written stuff and and try to go back and say, well the original

  210. church was in homes when they were in homes until they outgrew

  211. the homes. OK, so again, God desires that

  212. none would perish, but that all would come to repentance.

  213. So God never intended for us to stay in the house, period.

  214. And so, you know, there's nothing wrong with you building

  215. a building and people collect upon the same place and a symbol

  216. for the purpose of honoring and worshipping the king.

  217. And this is what he meant by this when he said so he said

  218. we're going to build this thing. We're going to put the people in

  219. the place that I need them, but they're going to be in a

  220. building that they publicly come to.

  221. OK. So that's really important for

  222. us to recognize. Now this Greek word church is

  223. ecclesia or ecclesia, and it means legislative, assembly or

  224. selected ones. This is not a religious term at

  225. all, OK, But it's a government term that is used many times in

  226. the classical Greek for a group of people who have been summoned

  227. and gathered together to govern the affairs of a city.

  228. For Jesus to use this term means he is giving the keys of

  229. governmental authority in his Kingdom to the church.

  230. That's powerful. So again, we have a lot to say

  231. about what's going on in communities.

  232. We do when we are functioning as God intended us.

  233. Look what it says here in Zechariah chapter 6 verses 12 to

    Zechariah 6:12–13

  234. 13. This would gave us let's just

  235. see that the Lord's building something he prophesied.

  236. It says this then say to him, thus says the Lord of hosts,

  237. behold a man whose name is branch, for he will branch out

  238. from where he is, and he will build the temple of the Lord.

  239. Yes, it is he who will build the temple of the Lord, and he will

  240. bear the honor and the and sit and rule on his throne.

  241. Again, Thrones are in kingdoms, not religions.

  242. Thus he will be a priest on his throne, and the council of peace

  243. will be between the two offices. So Matthew Henry said this

  244. concerning this passage of scripture.

  245. He said he speaks by a sign or type which many saw and which as

  246. it was explained, was an illustration prediction of the

  247. Messiah as the priest and king of His church.

  248. So Jesus is the priest and king of His church.

  249. He is the ruler of the Church. And again, we we want to yield

  250. ourselves to listen to the Lord, because the Lord will place you

  251. in His body exactly where He wants you to be, because He

  252. knows why He designed how He designed you and what you are to

  253. accomplish in the earth. He's the only one.

  254. He is the Creator, and he can release all of your potential.

  255. Amen. Colossians chapter one, verse 13

  256. to 18 says it this way. For he rescued us from the

  257. domain of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of

  258. his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of

  259. sin. He is the image of the invisible

  260. God, the first born of all creation.

  261. For by Him all things were created both in the heavens and

  262. on earth, visible and invisible, whether Thrones or dominions or

  263. rulers or authorities. All things have been created

  264. through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in

  265. Him all things what hold together all right.

  266. He is also Head of the Body, which is the Church, and He is

  267. the beginning, the first born from the dead, so that He

  268. Himself will come to have first place in everything.

  269. So again, Jesus is the head of the body.

  270. So a finger cannot hang out with the head and not have the rest

  271. of the body around. Now, yes.

  272. Can you pray by yourself? Sure.

  273. Can you read the Word by yourself?

  274. But God never intended for us to be born again and then never be

  275. connected with any other believer while we were on the

  276. earth. So when people are saying, well,

  277. we don't need to go to church, you know, we don't have to go

  278. into a building, we don't need to do that.

  279. All that matters is that I've asked Jesus into my heart that

  280. and that he saved me. So when I die, I go to heaven.

  281. That is not scriptural at all. God never intended that.

  282. In fact, if you live that kind of existence, then what it is is

  283. you put yourself to be the one that's off and the wolf is going

  284. to be able to come and pull you and destroy you because you're

  285. alone. God always wanted you in the

  286. body. OK, so when Isaiah 9/6 and

  287. seven, you know this. A child will be born to us, a

  288. son will be given, and the government will rest on his

  289. shoulders, and his name will be called.

  290. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

  291. There will be no end to the increase of his government or of

  292. peace on the throne of David or over his Kingdom, to establish

  293. it, to uphold it with justice and righteousness.

  294. From then on, forever more, the zeal of the Lord of hosts will

  295. accomplish this. It is it the church.

  296. It is at church that you learn the ways of righteousness.

  297. It is being connected to the body that you learn of the

  298. things of the Kingdom and how to function in the earth.

  299. And then it releases who you are, that which God created you

  300. to be. OK Hebrews chapter 4 verse 14

    Hebrews 4:14

  301. says it this way. Therefore, since we have a great

  302. high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the

  303. Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

  304. So Jesus has done everything in the earth.

  305. He knows what we're going through.

  306. He knows the challenges that we have, and but yet he never

  307. sinned. So if anyone has the right or

  308. ability to help us overcome, it's the Lord.

  309. Because the Lord was tempted on all accounts to sin, but yet he

  310. did not sin. So that when we come together,

  311. what it does, it helps us maintain this new life in Christ

  312. so that when we are tempted, we are not overcome by the

  313. temptation, but we are to continue to grow up into the

  314. things of God. Second Corinthians chapter 6

    2 Corinthians 6:16

  315. verse 16 says it this way. For we are the temple of the

  316. living God. God, just as God said, I will

  317. dwell in them and walk among them.

  318. I will be their God and they shall be my They'll be my

  319. people. Glory to God.

  320. Aren't you glad that you're the people of God?

  321. Man, I am so thankful that I am a people of God.

  322. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord again today.

  323. I'm just showing you that He's the builder.

  324. Again, I don't have the right to do what I want to do at Anchor

  325. Faith Church. I'm always having to ask the

  326. Lord, what do you want to do? How do you want to do this?

  327. What do you want to do? And in doing it, you know, we've

  328. we're doing what we're doing today because we just followed

  329. his voice. Amen.

  330. I'm Ephesians 218 to 22 says this.

  331. For through Him we both have our access in one spirit to the

  332. Father. So then you are no longer

  333. strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the

  334. Saints, and you are God's household, Psalmist's household,

  335. Hallelujah having been built on the foundation of the apostles

  336. and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone in

  337. whom the whole body being fitted together is growing into a holy

  338. temple in the Lord in whom you have been, in whom you also are

  339. being built together into a dwelling of God in the spirit.

  340. Now this is really important that we see that we're being

  341. built together. We're being built together when

  342. we were when we made Jesus, the Lord of our lives, our spirit

  343. man that was dead. We, we, it left and we became a

  344. new creature in Christ. But now we have to renew our

  345. minds. So when you come into the body

  346. of Christ, you have multiple people who have mind renewal

  347. issues. We all have to renew our minds.

  348. And so, you know, we're renewing our minds so that we are more

  349. effective towards one another, so that we can accomplish what

  350. God's called us to do, but also be there for one another.

  351. Because again, God is he's building his church, not so that

  352. we are isolated efforts, but we are coming together to do an

  353. effort that is bigger than if we did things by ourselves.

  354. OK. So it's really important that we

  355. recognize that, you know, your growth.

  356. It doesn't just change you, it affects the ones that are in

  357. this building. Amen.

  358. You know, my wife knows that we know healing and you know,

  359. really I, I don't get symptoms very often, you know, and

  360. they're usually can be gone within 24 hours.

  361. This one's hanging around just a tad more.

  362. But I'll be honest, this morning, man, I was rough.

  363. It was rough. I mean, we're so rough.

  364. I'm like, I call it audible. I got plenty of people who can

  365. preach in 21 years, I've not preached because I stayed home

  366. because I wasn't feeling well. I've never done that.

  367. I've never done that. OK, Not that I couldn't, right.

  368. But, you know, we were talking this morning and she was like,

  369. you're going to have to get up. You're going to have to get up.

  370. Well, I really didn't want to hear that, you know, So we have

  371. one of these beds that adjust, you know, it can sit you up.

  372. So she hits the button and sets me up right.

  373. So she brings me a few things, you know, so I can hydrate and

  374. you know, when I hit the button to get him what they call

  375. rejuvenate. So position where your legs are

  376. a little bit higher than your head, you know, and I was just

  377. going to take a little moment, but she hit that button again

  378. and put me up, you know, have me sitting straight up.

  379. And it's like, OK, so I said, listen, I'm, we're not driving

  380. together anyway, I, I'll come in later.

  381. So after she left, I put it in Rejuvenate and I put my alarm

  382. for an hour and when I woke up I was sweating so I was breaking

  383. some things off. Jesus name Amen.

  384. My point is, is that we are here to champion each other, you

  385. know, because when you don't feel like something, you can go

  386. past what you feel. And I'm thankful that my wife

  387. kept me to the word. You know, I mean, she could have

  388. sympathized with my feelings for sure and said, hey, you know,

  389. we'll figure it out. We got plenty of people.

  390. They can do this, right? But she was like, no, you need

  391. to be there, right? You need to come preach.

  392. You need to step up in faith. And when you get built in the

  393. body, you're thankful for people that won't let you just sit in

  394. the way you feel. Amen.

  395. Amen. You know, I was intentional not

  396. to get in here too early and didn't really sing during

  397. worship because I'm trying to hold on to my voice that's

  398. getting stronger every minute in Jesus name.

  399. But you know, people are recognizing and you know,

  400. praying for me. Interesting.

  401. That's what we do, right? When you see someone's in a

  402. state of weakness, you don't. You don't.

  403. You help lift them up. And that's what the body.

  404. You do, right? We're build each other up

  405. together because we're in the same household.

  406. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11, Ephesians 411.

    Ephesians 4:11

  407. We'll go to the 16 it says, and he gave some as apostles.

  408. Now if I jump back to verse 8, verse 8 lets us know that God

  409. gave gifts to men. That means everyone in here,

  410. you're a gift, say I'm a gift, you are a gift.

  411. He gave gifts to men and everyone of you are a gift.

  412. You are a gift to the body of Christ.

  413. OK, so then he in verse 11, he says, now some of the gifts that

  414. he gave to the body is this. And he gave some as apostles,

  415. some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and

  416. some as teachers. Do you know that these five fold

  417. ministries are still in the earth today?

  418. They've not died out, you know, they haven't.

  419. Some people teach that the baptism of the Holy Spirit died

  420. out with the original 12 apostles, you know, and now most

  421. people call people people either a pastor or evangelist or

  422. teacher. But you know, nobody wants to

  423. utilize the. And again, these are gifts.

  424. They're not titles, all right? I think that's where the church

  425. has gotten hurt a little bit is that they turned it and said,

  426. well, you want a title? Well, it's not a title.

  427. God didn't call it title, he said.

  428. He said it was a gift. It's not.

  429. Title it's a gift, you know and who and again, you don't have to

  430. use them, but Paul, obviously I am what I am because of the

  431. grace of God. Right, so.

  432. He was an apostle by the grace of God, and God gave him that

  433. gift, you know, And just because someone may not do it correctly

  434. doesn't mean someone's not doing it correctly.

  435. And we shouldn't just disregard the ministry gifts because we've

  436. been around someone who didn't do it right.

  437. OK. But he gave these five fold

  438. ministry gifts for the purpose, 12 for the equipment of the

  439. Saints, for the work of service. So the gifts that are associated

  440. with these five offices and I'm convinced.

  441. That God always. Intended for all 5 to be in a

  442. church. That he never.

  443. Intended that there would just be a pastor.

  444. He never intended. That.

  445. Because if. We as we read this Psalm, it

  446. says they're equipment of the Saints for the worker service

  447. through the building up of the body of Christ.

  448. You know what's pretty awesome about this?

  449. The Evangelist. Has an assignment.

  450. Inside the church. We typically.

  451. See the evangelist being out, but their first work is inside.

  452. To stir us all. Up in whatever areas of

  453. influence we have that we can win people to the Lord in our

  454. sphere of influence, OK. But.

  455. All of these build up the body of Christ, and if you're missing

  456. one of the gifts, then you're missing what that gift brings to

  457. the body. So that's why we need.

  458. To pray that we have all the gifts and we allow the gifts to

  459. function because it's not the person, it's the gift that God

  460. gave. I said that God gave and.

  461. They're not. Better.

  462. It's just they're. Fit.

  463. God made the. Architectural plans.

  464. And he said this is what you're going to do now.

  465. I've done this before. This pole right here, you know

  466. we never moved it. Just painted it.

  467. Black. This would have cost me $50,000

  468. I think it was at one point to pull this out.

  469. Well, I. Didn't do that.

  470. And we? Were talking about pulling some

  471. poles in JC Penney actually, and we were like, well you know,

  472. we're not going to do that either.

  473. But this pole, although it's on the platform and the other ones

  474. are not, they serve a purpose. OK, the.

  475. Architect designed this building so that these poles could hold

  476. the weight. Of the roof.

  477. If you were. Never designed to be a pole?

  478. Then you're not going to be able to hold the weight of the roof.

  479. So you only. Want to be what God wants you to

  480. be, Because sometimes people want to get in places that God's

  481. not asking them to be. And then when they start.

  482. To cave under the pressure. OK.

  483. Then they can get mad at God. They definitely get mad at the

  484. church. People there in the church was

  485. because you're trying to function in a place that the

  486. architect never designed you to function.

  487. Amen. And so, you know, there are so

  488. many different things that are in this building that is

  489. necessary. I mean, the air conditioned,

  490. thank God for it, right in the heater, thank God for the seats

  491. you're in, allows you to sit there kind of comfortable,

  492. right? You know, they serve their

  493. purpose and none of these things fight against each other.

  494. They're in the room designed to do what they're supposed to do.

  495. We actually have Christ in us. If anyone shouldn't be fighting

  496. amongst themselves is US, and we should just be excited about

  497. what we've been called to do. Amen.

  498. So we go on and. It says for the equipment of the

  499. Saints, for the work of service, building up the body of Christ

  500. until we attain, till we all attain to the unity of the faith

  501. of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the

  502. measure of the statue which belongs to the fullness of

  503. Christ. As a result, we are no longer to

  504. be children tossed here and there.

  505. By waves and carried. About by every wind of doctrine,

  506. by the trickery of men, by craftiness and deceitful

  507. scheming. What's that tell us?

  508. It tells us that first, if you're not, if you're not even

  509. connected to the church, you're going to be tossed.

  510. That's a guarantee, the only way that you keep yourself from

  511. being tossed. And every wind.

  512. Of doctrine and trickery, of men in the craftiness and deceitful

  513. scheming, is that you submit yourself.

  514. To the church. Body and you do your part.

  515. And when you do. That you'll grow.

  516. Verse 15 But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in

  517. all aspects into Him who was the head, even Christ, from whom the

  518. whole body, being fitted and held together by what every

  519. joint supplies according to the proper working of each

  520. individual part, causes the growth of the body for the

  521. building up of itself in love. So notice verse 16 that we are

  522. fitted and held together again. These are not isolations.

  523. And. Because we are together, we all

  524. bring a supply. And that supply?

  525. Is according to the proper working, which implies there can

  526. be an improper working. But a proper?

  527. Working of each individual part in the Kingdom.

  528. You lose your independence, but you do not lose your

  529. individuality. You are an.

  530. Individual God sees you as you are, however He never wanted you

  531. by yourself. Amen.

  532. He always wanted you connected to somebody else.

  533. Praise the Lord and when you bring your supply, I mean,

  534. really, yesterday they were able to run through the demo so quick

  535. and actually move to another area that we initially weren't

  536. going to deal with because so many people showed up and

  537. brought their supply. And honestly, wasn't it?

  538. The camaraderie was fun. I mean.

  539. Just have a great time with one another.

  540. You know, obviously if we were all professionals, we probably

  541. would do things a little differently, but we don't have

  542. to be. So people were busting sheetrock

  543. off the walls. It was fun.

  544. But. Each person came together doing

  545. their part and nobody was like mad at each other because one

  546. had a hammer and another one didn't.

  547. But we just came to do the assignment.

  548. Put me where you want me. Everybody was working together

  549. and it was accomplished in a lot less time.

  550. Hallelujah. Well, you know, we can do this

  551. in the church as well. All right.

  552. First Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 10, Paul said according to

    1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  553. the grace of God, which was given to me, like a wise master

  554. builder, I lay a foundation and another is building on it.

  555. But. Each man must be careful how he

  556. builds on it. Paul.

  557. Obviously had grace to build. He did his part right.

  558. Obviously he brought doctrine. He was an apostle.

  559. He he also did leadership. He established the church and

  560. then he would write and say, man, I hope I don't come back

  561. and have labored in vain, you know, Are you still doing what

  562. you've been instructed to do? But he was a wise master

  563. builder. Why?

  564. Because he was. How do you want me to do this,

  565. Lord? What do you want me to say?

  566. How do you want me to respond? How do you want me to build your

  567. church? Hallelujah, the Lord is good.

  568. Let's. Go on, let's go to 1st

  569. Corinthians 12. First Corinthians. 12 verses 12

    1 Corinthians 12:12–14

  570. to 14 I mean we've seen multiple scriptures that Christ who sits

  571. at the right hand of the Father is not disconnected, however he

  572. is directly connected to build his church.

  573. OK. And.

  574. If we'll listen to him, then obviously we'll we'll have his

  575. church manifest in the earth. His legislative.

  576. Assembly it says for even as the body is 1 yet has many members,

  577. and all the members of the body, though there are many, are one

  578. body, so also is Christ and that awesome.

  579. He says. For by 1 spirit we were all

  580. baptized into the into one body, whether Jews or Greek, whether

  581. slaves are free, and we were all made to drink of 1 spirit.

  582. For the body is not one member, but many.

  583. So again. The body is all of us collecting

  584. upon the same place. Where?

  585. We bring our supply. To do what?

  586. God has asked us to do in the earth for such a time as this.

  587. I'm. Going to.

  588. Close with this scripture here. First Corinthians chapter 12,

    1 Corinthians 12:18

  589. verse 18. First Corinthians chapter. 12

  590. verse 18 says this. But now.

  591. God has placed now God has placed the members, each one of

  592. them. Each one of.

  593. Them in the body, just as he desired.

  594. This verse. Here is a very powerful verse.

  595. It lets us know how much God knows you personally.

  596. However, on the personal level that he knows you, he did not

  597. want you to be alone. Because there are others in.

  598. The household OK. But.

  599. Now God, this may be one of the single missed scriptures.

  600. Where people are not. In faith for.

  601. We have a scripture. That says, but now God has

  602. placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he

  603. desired. Do you know that means I can

  604. say, Lord, I believe that you will place me in the body you

  605. want me in? Not.

  606. Well, I'm going to pick the one I like.

  607. Now this is really. Important because in the last of

  608. the last days it tells us that people will heap teachers to

  609. themselves because they'll have tickling ears.

  610. They're only going to want to hear things that they want to

  611. hear. So in essence, they're picking

  612. the ministers, they're picking the content, they're picking

  613. what to do. Not what God.

  614. 'S doing. OK.

  615. So you can be in faith that you can know that you know I'm in

  616. the place God has called me. That's amazing.

  617. That you're not just here by accident.

  618. Because when you. Know that you know that God has

  619. placed you somewhere. Well, that changes the way you

  620. function. Hallelujah.

  621. Because. When you know you've been

  622. placed, you would not let a devil in hell take you out of

  623. it. It's amazing.

  624. I mean, you would let nothing you're like, but God placed me

  625. there. Because now that you know.

  626. You've been placed right. He's placing you in the place

  627. that you can grow and thrive. Where your fruit?

  628. Can do stuff. Hallelujah.

  629. Man that's excited that when you wake up and say man, I know I'm

  630. called there. That's the place that God put

  631. me. He spoke to me.

  632. The Berean Standard Bible says it this way, but in fact God has

  633. arranged the members of the body, every one of them,

  634. according to his design. Young's Little.

  635. Translation says it this way. And now God did set the members,

  636. each one of them in the body, according according as he willed

  637. Hallelujah, I said Hallelujah. And the remedy says it.

  638. This way God has built the body with all this parts right where

  639. He wanted them, all perfectly complementing each other and

  640. fulfilling their purposes for the good of the entire body.

  641. When you. Are in the body.

  642. You know you're called to, and you're doing what you know

  643. you're called to do. Then you're helping the whole.

  644. Body Hallelujah. And that's a big deal.

  645. It has eternal ramifications. It has eternal.

  646. Ramifications. Because again.

  647. Jesus is the architect. He's designing the church.

  648. And in his. Design for all Listening to the

  649. Spirit, we can find our fit. We know where we're supposed to

  650. be. We have no desire to be

  651. somewhere we're not. We only want to be in the spot

  652. he's called us. And in doing so, all of us will

  653. hear the same thing one day. Well done.

  654. Well done, 'cause he knows. What you're designed to do.

  655. He knows what you're designed. To do.

  656. Amen. Let's pray.
