  1. Thank you Lord, say by faith, say by faith.

  2. You know a lot of times in the in in the church, especially the

  3. modern day Church of the in the United States, faith when spoken

  4. of is spoken of typically in two categories.

  5. Faith to be born again, filled with the Holy Ghost.

  6. Again, that's elementary, very beginning teachings of the Word

  7. of God. But then it seems to jump over

  8. into personal benefits. Where is faith to receive?

  9. Whether that's prosperity, prospering in your own life,

  10. whether it's promotion homes, whatever that may be, or health,

  11. faith, Those are the categories that we hear it in most.

  12. However, you understand there are many situations.

  13. In fact, your whole life is to be LED by faith, which means any

  14. situation you find yourself in, you should be able to go live it

  15. by faith. Meaning say, and the Bible does

  16. tell us because Jesus told us he says in this life you just might

  17. on occasions once you're born again is not as common.

  18. No, no, you will have trials and tribulation, which means when

  19. you then enter a trial, you in turn then confined scriptures

  20. and trust God in that word to overcome that trial.

  21. And this is not just for personal, it's for the nation,

  22. is for your local government, it's for, you know, our national

  23. government, it's for things going on in the world.

  24. We can literally any situation going on in life, we can get

  25. into the word and say, OK, according to the word by faith,

  26. Lord, we believe you'll do this because you said you would do

  27. this. Amen.

  28. So when things are speaking contrary to your word, you said

  29. you would do this. And we're believing we're going

  30. to see that come to pass, even if it's not a direct benefit to

  31. us, but because of what's going on in the world, Hallelujah.

  32. You know, the Bible, we should be believing that the church,

  33. the latter church, is going to be greater than the former

  34. church. It should be a perpetual belief

  35. system that when we wake up, we should be like, man, the Church

  36. of Jesus Christ on planet earth is going to be greater in these

  37. last days than in the days of Pentecost because why not?

  38. Because we're hope it's that way, wishes that way.

  39. No, he said it will be that way. And so we're saying now, Lord,

  40. you said it would look like this.

  41. So when I go into scripture and I start seeing where the Bible

  42. tells us that we are one faith, 1 spirit in unity, I'm like, I

  43. believe I'm going to see that. I'm going to see that group of

  44. believers that they're going to be unified, come together.

  45. They're of one mind, 1 accord, no selfishness, no selfish

  46. ambition, no, you know, personal pursuits.

  47. It's all going to be for him, His Kingdom, working together,

  48. causing things to come. We can believe God for that and

  49. see it manifest in our life. Amen.

  50. Which means God would allow will navigate us so that we can see

  51. the things in Scripture come to pass.

  52. I am am firmly persuaded that we are definitely in the generation

  53. we know we're in the generation that's closest to the return of

  54. Christ than ever before. No one's ever been there closer

  55. than us. But you start looking at the

  56. signs of the time you could, you could almost conclude it would

  57. be highly probable that it's in our generation.

  58. It can be highly probable. I mean, you would not be missing

  59. the mark to be able to say, I believe, Lord, I am the

  60. generation that will be transformed in the moment, in

  61. the twinkling of an eye that I'm going to put on immortality,

  62. that I'm not going to go into the grave.

  63. I'm going to be caught up together with you in the sky.

  64. I mean, some generations going to be that and the things that

  65. have happened just in the last 50 years shows us the

  66. acceleration of this timeline. Hallelujah.

  67. Now if he tarries, OK, but you know what, somebody needs to

  68. stand around and believe that they're in that.

  69. I'm going to be the one that can believe that and stand that way.

  70. Amen. But in Ephesians chapter 6 verse

    Ephesians 6:10

  71. 10, it says finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of

  72. his mic. Now I'm reading now the new

  73. American standard translation. Then he goes on in verse 11, Put

  74. on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand

  75. for firm against the schemes of the devil.

  76. For our struggle is not say is not say is not say is not say is

  77. not against flesh and blood. So that means you cannot look at

  78. your neighbor and say it's your fault.

  79. I'm not doing what I should be doing.

  80. I mean, honestly, you can blame no person on the planet.

  81. You cannot blame a person on the planet for why you're not

  82. accomplishing something. Our battle is not against flesh

  83. and blood. It's not against flesh and

  84. blood, is against principalities and powers.

  85. Now what I am not advocating or teaching is that there is a

  86. little demon in every little corner of nook and cranny of

  87. the. I'm not saying that.

  88. I am not saying that. Now I don't have time to teach

  89. on demonology today, but I will give a little insight #1 Satan

  90. is not the opposite of God in power.

  91. He is not. He is not all knowing like God,

  92. which means for many people in this room, he doesn't even know

  93. you exist. He doesn't know you've not even

  94. popped on his radar. It says he roams the earth like

  95. a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.

  96. Well, if he knew who to devour, he wouldn't have to seek.

  97. He he just show up. No, he's having to look for the

  98. things that give him access. Now he knows his own kids

  99. because they're of his nature, right?

  100. And we know there are people of his nature.

  101. For Jesus himself said you are of your Father, and it wasn't

  102. God, he said. So we said we're all God's

  103. loving people. We were all originally created

  104. in the image of God. But after Adam fell, a new

  105. nature of a different being came and death entered the earth and

  106. the spirit of the devil became part of man in the context that

  107. he was in full rebellion to God. And Jesus clearly stated to

  108. religious people, we're talking people who could quote

  109. scripture, you are of your father the devil.

  110. Now you have to understand everyone on the planet while

  111. Jesus was ministering Father was the devil because no one has yet

  112. born again. Are you hearing me?

  113. I'm not saying that some were not righteous because you

  114. obviously could live righteous concerning what you knew in the

  115. word and that allowed you to be able to go into what we call

  116. paradise. Abrahams bosom.

  117. They were the righteous dead awaiting for the blood of Jesus.

  118. Glory to God, because when Jesus died he went down to paradise.

  119. What did he tell the thief? He said today you will be with

  120. me in paradise and in paradise there's a gulf of fix between

  121. paradise and Sheol or the grave where there's great torment.

  122. And those are the dead who never lived in any form of

  123. righteousness and had redemption.

  124. They had total rejection of God. Jesus leads captivity, captive

  125. at at his death, burial and then resurrection.

  126. So paradise does not exist today.

  127. Today, if you are born again and you're leaving your body, you do

  128. not go to paradise. You go straight to where he is

  129. and he is currently residing at the right hand of the Father in

  130. heaven. However, he is making plans to

  131. come back. Hallelujah, I said, He's coming

  132. back and we will be with him. Glory to God, so so spirits have

  133. to roam around and and and look at scenarios and situations and

  134. circumstances. You understand that.

  135. But with that being said, he's telling us we need to be strong

  136. in the Lord and our battle is not against flesh and blood.

  137. But there are things that behind the scenes are moving to either

  138. keep you one in your flesh. These are what they're doing.

  139. The principalities and powers are doing a few things.

  140. One's they're trying to maintain a veil over the lost.

  141. They want to keep them blind in darkness.

  142. They're constantly trying to shield the light from being able

  143. to penetrate them. But if the light penetrates and

  144. you become born again, that doesn't mean they leave you

  145. alone. That just means they try to pull

  146. on your carnality the the areas of you that you've not renewed

  147. to the word and submitted to the word.

  148. Now your spirit man's alive in Christ when you're born again.

  149. Are you hearing what I'm saying? You become a new creature.

  150. How in Christ, and we know Christ is not a last name.

  151. It's title. It's the title of Jesus.

  152. Jesus is the Messiah in the Hebrew, in the Greek he's called

  153. the Christ, which translates to the anointed 1 and his

  154. anointing. Well, what is that?

  155. That's the King. Jesus is the King.

  156. The King came to save the world from their sin, their treason,

  157. their rebellion against the throne of God.

  158. And when he died without sin, pouring out his blood on the

  159. mercy seat, in essence, it paid all the penalty for everything

  160. we've ever done wrong. And when we call on his name,

  161. that spirit man that was no longer, that was dead to God is

  162. evicted out of this skin suit. And he plants in us a brand new

  163. spirit. But not only that, there's more.

  164. He puts the Holy Ghost, the third person of the Godhead, on

  165. the inside of us, and he bears witness with our spirit that we

  166. are children of God. Can I get an Amen at that point?

  167. He says. Now I have given you the

  168. teacher, the instructor of Kingdom affairs, and he will

  169. renew your mind to think royalty, to think like a king,

  170. to think in this new nature that you are in.

  171. Christ Jesus restored us to the same position that the first

  172. Adam had, which is in Genesis chapter one verse 26.

  173. Then God said, let us make man in our image according to our

  174. likeness, and let them rule or have dominion over the fish of

  175. the sea, over the birds of the sky, over all the cattle, over

  176. every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and over all the

  177. earth. So man was always to have a

  178. position of rulership with God. God ruled all of mankind, of

  179. which mankind ruled in his sphere or assignment in the

  180. earth. So he, by all rights, Jesus, is

  181. the king of. And who are those kings?

  182. We are those kings. And so in order to function as a

  183. king, though, you're going to have to think like one.

  184. And our old thinking is not kingly thinking.

  185. That's why He tells us that we are to renew our minds, to have

  186. our minds transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that we

  187. will know the will of God, that we can walk out God's perfect

  188. will, that we can side with the Spirit.

  189. And then it also allows our minds to be able to keep our

  190. bodies in subjection so that it doesn't get to do what it feels

  191. like wanting to do our in our minds or our soul realm, our

  192. emotions. We don't side with how we feel

  193. about something. We say, wait a minute, what is

  194. God saying? Because when we we were dead in

  195. our trespasses of sin, we can only live by how we felt.

  196. You treated me wrong. I'm going to treat you wrong

  197. because that's how I feel about it.

  198. But when I get over here into the Kingdom, well now I don't

  199. respond to you how I feel like I respond to you how God leads me

  200. to and he, the way he leads me is always righteous and just.

  201. Hallelujah. And so in order for us to

  202. function like that as a believer, we have to renew our

  203. minds. And that is what the Bible calls

  204. the saving of the soul. That is our responsibility to

  205. yield, to allow it to be saved. God cannot force us to change

  206. our thinking. We can't change our spirit.

  207. Only God could do that. God has now empowered us to have

  208. our minds change because he's put in us the third person of

  209. the Godhead, a spirit that wants to obey God and not sin and

  210. rebel against him. So these two are very powerful

  211. that should be able to say convince your mind, hey, get it

  212. together upstairs, right? Get it together upstairs.

  213. It didn't work too good for you before you came in here.

  214. You might want to do it our way. Yeah, but it feels so, so

  215. awkward. I understand it feels awkward,

  216. but it's what's right. It's what's holy.

  217. It's what's just. It's what the Father says.

  218. Jesus says. I don't do anything on my own

  219. initiative, but only what? The Father has told me to do and

  220. if Jesus would not communicate, respond or act in any situation

  221. till he's heard from heaven by the Holy Ghost, why do we think

  222. we don't have to do the same? Why do we think that is not

  223. required of us? Well, it's obviously required of

  224. us because we are to live life in the earth as he did.

  225. But he said, finally be strong in the Lord in the strength of

  226. his might. Put on the full armor of God, so

  227. that you'll be able to stand firm against the schemes of the

  228. devil. For our show was not against

  229. flesh and blood, but against rulers, against powers, against

  230. world forces of this darkness, against spiritual forces of

  231. wickedness in heavenly places. Let me go ahead and hit verse 13

  232. as well. Therefore, take up the full

  233. armor of God so that you may be able to resist in the evil day.

  234. And having done everything to stand, we know the next verse

  235. starts, goes on and says stand, right?

  236. So in this passage of Scripture, what's really important about

  237. this element? Because this is where many

  238. people launch out of here to talk about spiritual warfare.

  239. OK, I'm going to say one thing real quick about spiritual world

  240. warfare. Christ has already conquered

  241. these principalities and powers. It's, it's a defeated realm.

  242. Excuse me? So you're not, you're not

  243. directly fighting them because you're having to defeat them.

  244. The only way you engage them is with the word.

  245. Now notice when Jesus dealt with the realm he did, he wasn't

  246. carrying on conversations. I mean, you get into some

  247. places, they'll name every spirit, they'll talk about their

  248. origins and all. And I'm like, man, I mean, you

  249. can get over into some crazy stuff trying to make yourself

  250. seem like you're so intelligent about which honestly, many

  251. people who may have that information have probably

  252. stepped over into a different realm that they should have

  253. never been so deep into to have that much information.

  254. Because when we see Jesus's encounter, he's like, it is

  255. written. When he talked to the chief

  256. bells above himself, King James called him Lucifer.

  257. The Bible calls him Satan, the Prince of the power of the air.

  258. And when he speaks to him, he said it is written.

  259. He only quoted the word to him. He did not say, well, where did

  260. you come from, right? He didn't do that.

  261. He didn't engage that kind of conversation.

  262. He just said it is written. And through every temptation,

  263. everything that he came, we obviously have 3 instances

  264. recorded in Scripture that he always came back with.

  265. It is written Now we know according to the Luke account of

  266. Jesus's temptation of Christ, that the devil knows what this

  267. is about. And many places do not know what

  268. this is about because then again, they think it's just

  269. about you being forgiven of your sin so that when you die you'll

  270. go to heaven. However, the devil knows what

  271. it's about because that's why I said, Jesus, let me take you up

  272. here. Let me show you all the kingdoms

  273. because this what you want, right?

  274. He said. I'll give them all to you

  275. because they've been handed over to me.

  276. Luke chapter 4 he said they've been handed over to me.

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  277. See a lot of times we say it this way will the devil stole

  278. it. The devil did not steal.

  279. Adam abdicated his authority as having dominion over all the

  280. earth and gave it to Satan. He gave away what God legally

  281. gave him. This is why God could not come

  282. to the garden and take it from Satan as God only.

  283. He said let's make man in our image according to our likeness

  284. and let him have dominion on the earth.

  285. So in order for God to have that dominion.

  286. Being restored back to man, a man must come and get it.

  287. This is why Jesus has to be born.

  288. He has to send a son. Hallelujah, because the first

  289. Adam lost dominion in the garden.

  290. The last Adam gained it in the garden because he said Lord not

  291. my will, but your will be done. Send me to the cross.

  292. Aren't you glad he went to the cross, man, Thank God he went to

  293. the cross. He suffered all that for us.

  294. And man, we do not want to cheapen that gift.

  295. We do not want to downplay it. We do not want to act like, oh,

  296. it's just something. Well, that was nothing.

  297. Well, yeah, because for us. Lord, forgive me.

  298. I'm so I repent of everything I've done wrong.

  299. I mean, you truly mean it. Lord, save me.

  300. You know, I thank you for gave me of all my sin.

  301. I call you as Lord and you knew the day you became born again

  302. and what seemed like such a easy action for you was a

  303. tremendously troubling, difficult, nobody could ever

  304. handle moment but God in the flesh name Jesus.

  305. So what we call free was at great cost.

  306. So never see free as flip it, because the greatest value is

  307. the blood of Jesus. All right.

  308. And so when when the Lucifer, you know, Satan shows him all

  309. the kingdoms and all and said all these they've been handed

  310. over me and I can give it to whomever I wish.

  311. So this is all that's got to happen.

  312. If you'll just bow down and worship me, I'll give it to you.

  313. That's what you came for anyway, right?

  314. And what did Jesus say? It is written there's only a

  315. couple of other places that Jesus when engaging the demonic

  316. realm, which are of the lesser power than Satan himself, that

  317. there was another word and that was with the Mad Men of Ghaderi.

  318. And he said to him, what is your name?

  319. Outside of that, there was no other dialogue.

  320. Because at a word go, come out, they were coming.

  321. I said they were coming because they obey.

  322. I said they obey. They obey.

  323. It's only us humans today that he is in these times saying you

  324. choose, it's up to you. I'm not going to force you

  325. either way. But what I'm going to say is if

  326. you'll choose me, you'll have life.

  327. But if you don't choose me, you're going to have death.

  328. Either way. You'll have what I say, but I

  329. want you to choose life because I never destined you to

  330. experience death anyway. Hallelujah.

  331. So again, our struggle is not against flesh and blood.

  332. There are forces out there. And so the last place we want to

  333. do is is be in in contention with one another when there's

  334. something bigger. But he says finally be strong in

  335. the Lord and the and the strength of his might.

  336. What's really powerful about this?

  337. It says this Oh, excuse me, it says it says.

  338. In this detailed teaching of when again spiritual warfare, it

  339. presents 2 essential elements. First, you must be strong in the

  340. Lord and in the power of His might.

  341. Then you must put on the full armor of God.

  342. The two are essential. Much teaching on Christian

  343. combat neglects the first we. But if we take a weak man who

  344. can barely stand and put the best armor on him, he will be

  345. ineffective soldier and be easily beaten.

  346. And it doesn't matter. He has the best equipment.

  347. Doesn't matter. OK so you must first be strong

  348. in the Lord. When I was in the military they

  349. are. They send everybody through

  350. basic training and the majority of basic training is not weapons

  351. qualification, it's physical education.

  352. I mean, you get to do that day one, right?

  353. Beat your face. I mean, we beat our face all the

  354. time. Now for those that are just

  355. civilian and don't know that term, we were not doing this all

  356. day. We were doing push ups all the

  357. time. Now it's amazing how strong you

  358. can get just doing push ups, how much endurance you can have and

  359. then you would run and you do sit ups and there's different

  360. activities. They had us doing that man

  361. within an 8 week period. I mean, you can totally be

  362. transformed now. I was a small guy when I went

  363. into the service myself personally, you know, I was

  364. really small so I was hoping to get bigger.

  365. I think when I joined I might have been 120 something pounds,

  366. maybe 125 when I went in. So I was, you know, I was

  367. ripped. Can I say it that way?

  368. I was ripped. So you know, I ran some before

  369. but not a whole lot. And I didn't do a whole lot of

  370. PT per SE before I went to basic, although I did go through

  371. a pre basic with the Army National Guard before they sent

  372. me off to Fort Jackson. And so, but when I got there, I

  373. had to take my first PT test. I was actually shocked that I

  374. almost did not meet the minimum in sit ups for two minutes

  375. because for my age, I was 21 when I went in 20, I was 20.

  376. I turned 21. No, I was 19.

  377. I turned 20 in basic and so I was 19 years old and I'm doing

  378. these sit ups that I needed to do 52 in 2 minutes.

  379. I mean, I think I did 54. It was horrible.

  380. I was I was concerned I was in the high 40s thinking am I going

  381. to be able to punch this out now?

  382. They would have not got gotten rid of me.

  383. I just you know, they would have known where I was at.

  384. Like, bro, we going to work on you push ups.

  385. You know, I think I did maybe 60.

  386. I was already upper 50s, sixties. 80 is the high point

  387. for my age. 92 was the high point for sit ups.

  388. And then the run I think was like 10 something.

  389. You had to run it in 10-30 something and you had a perfect

  390. score. OK.

  391. And so I always said to myself, if I get the push ups, I'll make

  392. myself run that 2 miles as fast as you're supposed to.

  393. The most sit ups I ever did though in 2 minutes was 87 and

  394. never hit 90. I mean, I, I didn't matter how

  395. much I try to crank those things out, I just couldn't.

  396. But in one minute I could do 80 pushups and I'd be up, I'd be

  397. done like we're, we're done. So when you're in basic, you

  398. know, when you're starting, all my military guys are laughing

  399. because you're like, you're having flashbacks right now that

  400. the drill Sergeant drops you down, at least in the Army.

  401. And so they have this thing, you can't smoke a rock because they

  402. are the rock. I mean, they do so many push

  403. ups, you know, they do them in their sleep.

  404. So when we first start, you're going to muscle failure.

  405. And there's nothing more humiliating of the human body

  406. than to watch a person go to muscle failure with a push up.

  407. OK, I'll just give you an example what that looks like.

  408. All right, So you're down like this and you'll start shaking

  409. all crazy like this. I mean, as much as you want to

  410. get up, you have met your muscle exhaustion and it's humiliating

  411. looking, looking at all these guys flopping around like fish

  412. out of water. You know, the drill starts like

  413. can't smoke a rock, can't smoke a rock.

  414. And you just like you. I mean, they RIP you down first

  415. two weeks 'cause they don't want you.

  416. They want the team, they want the unit, they want the platoon,

  417. they want the camaraderie, they want the oneness.

  418. OK so with that being said, by the time in a basic they had to

  419. then trick us because when 1 jumped down, you know the one

  420. that always started out doing that, you're like try me.

  421. I mean we were like try me, I will smoke you.

  422. I mean you were like you knew you had it in you and then they

  423. would get up and switch the next one then it would come out can't

  424. smoke or I like sure you got 70 push ups on us right now.

  425. I mean, we have 70 push ups on you.

  426. The point is it's amazing how strong it really exercises your

  427. whole body. And the reason they do that is

  428. so that when you do get into weapons qualification or

  429. whatever you're doing, you are fit.

  430. But believers just want to suit up.

  431. You want to get born again and then suit up.

  432. And I like you're going to get on a frontline like whoa, bro,

  433. love you. I want you on the frontline too.

  434. But we going to do some push ups first.

  435. I just want to know, can you come to morning prayer at 6:00

  436. AM? Me.

  437. Can you come to morning prayer at 6:00 AM?

  438. Because you not really ready to get out there and say you going

  439. to fight the principalities and pull down the strongholds that

  440. are all over, You know, Saint Augustine back in the back, you

  441. know when they first came over, you know, and all the things you

  442. ain't. You are not going to the beach

  443. doing any of that. If you can't make simple morning

  444. prayer or be committed to a local body church, be committed

  445. to a unit, be committed to a body of believers that you can

  446. March in unison together. Come on, don't make me do

  447. arcanas again. You hear what I'm saying?

  448. I mean, if we want to be with the full armor, we got to get

  449. finally be strong in the Lord and you're not going to be

  450. strong in the Lord if you're not reading the Bible daily, you're

  451. not spending time in the word, you're not praying in the

  452. spirit, building up your most holy faith.

  453. And then we going to go try to fight, you know, a principality

  454. and power. I mean, we struggle with

  455. carnality, our own personal flesh, like putting down, you

  456. know, it's raining today, probably won't go to church,

  457. right? I mean, those types of things,

  458. you know, can become problematic.

  459. Now, why do I preach like this? Because it's the anointing in my

  460. life. I'm here to inspire you to

  461. continue to step out and do because you know what?

  462. I'm going to continue to do my marching orders.

  463. I'm going to do exactly what God's called me to do.

  464. And then when the enemy comes, like he's comes and he cycles

  465. through. And as you continue to grow and

  466. develop as a believer, things are different in each stage of

  467. your growth and development, and especially within the body that

  468. you're assigned to. Because don't think the devil

  469. just leaves the church unchecked.

  470. He's afraid of us. I said he's afraid of us.

  471. Listen, not every branch is created equal.

  472. Come on. Air Force, stand up.

  473. Stand up. Air Force, those in the Air

  474. Force stand up. Anybody.

  475. I know I had some Air Force guys.

  476. Air's not here. OK, well, they eat the best.

  477. I just want y'all to know they have the best food ever.

  478. They really do. Anybody that's fair.

  479. It's true. I mean, when we get Mr. ES, they

  480. got steaks. We're like, what's happening?

  481. You know, way more controlled climate environments for them.

  482. You know their PT rigor was not the same.

  483. Not the same at all, right? How many Marines I have in here?

  484. Come on, stand up. I need a Marines now.

  485. Did y'all do 12 weeks basic 1313?

  486. OK, do 100. Oh, OK, OK, OK, OK, OK.

  487. OK. Now now we you want to come up

  488. here, you and I both will be cramping everybody laughing at

  489. us right? Be like 10 OK y'all had to do

  490. 100 before you could be done. Now the pull ups is interesting.

  491. I was at Six Flags with the youth crew.

  492. I was a youth pastor in Oklahoma.

  493. And so the Marines were there with the pull ups.

  494. OK. And so they, you know, wanted to

  495. give you a T-shirt if you could do 20.

  496. Wait, we're looking for new recruits.

  497. And I was like, with the youth, I'm like, I'll do that.

  498. So I jumped up there. I snatched out 20 and dropped me

  499. goes, why did you quit? I said, well, that's all that

  500. was required to get the T-shirt. You didn't tell me that we were

  501. competing, which I wish they would have known because you

  502. know, then they posted somebody at 25.

  503. I'm like bro, I could have beat that anyway.

  504. But pull ups and chin ups are a serious deal and all branches

  505. should do that for sure. OK, but not all branches are the

  506. same, nor within the branch. There are some again in the Army

  507. we have the Green Berets, but then we have this other group

  508. called Rangers right now. At the end of the day, I was

  509. neither of those, right? I was telecommunication.

  510. I was in a Conex air condition, Coke and Little Debbie Cakes

  511. working on radios and then they would come in and they are all

  512. sweating and stuff, you know, looking like tough guys, like

  513. wow, what's going on? Y'all doing all right?

  514. Is it hot out there? What happened to you?

  515. Ready. Yeah, bro, here we got you.

  516. You know, we're one unit now don't get me wrong because at

  517. the end of the day I want them there.

  518. And I'll be the first one to say if I was standing, I have no

  519. qualms saying that's the man right there.

  520. And I have no problem saying that I have not put in the work

  521. to be that soldier. Now we've all put in the basic

  522. training in the Army, everybody is infantry.

  523. Even if you have a different MOS, you're all infantry.

  524. Because at the end of the day, if you need to take a weapon and

  525. go to a line, everybody can take a weapon and go to the line.

  526. However, there are some that are more skilled because they are

  527. well trained to be able to do things and I do not have their

  528. skill set. So I don't even pretend, right?

  529. Don't even pretend. Well, you have to ask yourself

  530. the question, what unit do you want to be on?

  531. I had to ask the question, Lord, what church are you building and

  532. which unit am I putting together?

  533. Because you know, the other service trying to think of that

  534. elite group, what are they called?

  535. Navy Seals, thank you. The Seals, OK.

  536. I mean those boys, they go, but man, they will tap out.

  537. They get, I mean, there's many that try, but they do not

  538. maintain the mental with resolve to be that elite of a soldier.

  539. Debbie, did you see many Navy Seals when you were in?

  540. No, Really. Never popped through.

  541. Never had a foot problem, huh? That's too bad.

  542. That's been kind of neat. So what happened to your foot?

  543. Where were you at? OK, anyway, you know, not

  544. everybody passes these things, OK?

  545. But in God's Kingdom, if you want to be elite, now you can

  546. be. And the only thing that stops

  547. you from being elite is your mental toughness is your ability

  548. to renew your mind, to get so locked into this word that you

  549. are going to find yourself strong in the Lord.

  550. Because use like I, I'm not going to let my carnal fleshly

  551. self stay because my carnal fleshly self can't do this.

  552. I have to be strong in the Lord. So I got to die to self so that

  553. I can live to Him. I've got to crucify self so that

  554. I can live to Him. I got a deke.

  555. I have to decrease so that he will increase.

  556. And when I'm weak, I acknowledge Him and his word, and He will

  557. then make me strong. And in these last days, God

  558. definitely wants us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of

  559. His might. Because when it comes to put it

  560. on the full armor of God, the whole armor is designed for one

  561. thing, to advance. If you read it, you're going to

  562. gird your loins with truth. You're going to put on the

  563. breastplate of righteousness, you're going to shod your feet

  564. with the preparation of the gospel of the peace.

  565. You're going to take up the shield of faith.

  566. You're going to have on the helmet of salvation and the

  567. sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

  568. When you look at the armor which this was a Roman centurion that

  569. he was modeling, that was all what was on the front.

  570. We are not talking about what's on the back.

  571. Now the breastplate of righteousness obviously has a

  572. back to it because they put it on, but the emphasis is the

  573. battle was in the front of them. And in Romans mentality is that

  574. we're not retreating. We are advancing and anchor

  575. faith church. We are always advancing.

  576. So we are always in the position of moving forward.

  577. And here's the thing, it may because if you can just imagine,

  578. we're all here, we have our shield and this shield is not

  579. like Captain America stuff. I mean it cover it could cover

  580. your whole body. OK, you're going to come in and

  581. you're going to put that shield down.

  582. You're going to be behind it. You've got your sword, your

  583. helmet, your bread. I mean, you're covered up and

  584. and the enemy can't even really see your body because it's

  585. covered. You are covered in the word and

  586. the enemy's arrows can't even get past the word.

  587. So once you absorb his lies with the word 1st and it allows you

  588. to strike with the word. I mean, you got the word with

  589. the shield and the word with the sword.

  590. And it may be you're like standing here and here's the

  591. onslaught when you've done all the stand, stand.

  592. But it's not because I'm doing this and we're never doing that.

  593. I said we're never doing that. We're doing this, period.

  594. And I don't care what the barrage is.

  595. I don't care how bad the attack is.

  596. I don't care how many to the left or to the right seem like

  597. they're falling. The church is not retreating

  598. church and retreating. That elite group is steadfast

  599. standing and then at 1 moment they'll in unity because this

  600. last church will say March, boom boom, one step and we'll get

  601. momentum in seasons that we'll go take full territory.

  602. Why? Because the gates of hell cannot

  603. prevail against the church. So the only time that it seems

  604. like we're not advancing is because we are up against a

  605. principality. We're up against the gate and

  606. we're pressing on this gate now, and when you're pressing on that

  607. gate, then all of a sudden the enemies throwing everything down

  608. from the wall, trying to keep you off the gate, off the wall,

  609. But you just stand. You just keep pounding.

  610. You just stand there and you keep taking a step in unity and

  611. eventually the wall's coming down.

  612. We're going to go ahead and take that territory, take all that,

  613. and we'll go to the next gate. That's what it looks like.

  614. Amen. We don't retreat just because

  615. there's a challenge. And when there's heavier

  616. seasons, it's time to gird up, buckle down, pull your

  617. bootstraps and you find people who are not falling off you link

  618. arms, you like, let's get this thing.

  619. We going somewhere, we got somewhere to go, something to do

  620. cuz man, listen, you can start with a group of 33,000 and the

  621. Lord says, but the army's a lot larger than you.

  622. I mean 185,000 strong or 1:35 I think it is.

  623. And he says, well, we're not going to do 1:30.

  624. So let's find out because when it gets hot in battle, who's

  625. going to who's really just afraid to go in the 1st place.

  626. If you're scared, go home. 23,000 people like we out of

  627. here, bro, we gone. But I thought you were part of

  628. us. Now we, you know, I mean we are,

  629. but we're not that. I mean we are, but we not that.

  630. Well, you know, again, if you aren't, you aren't.

  631. I mean don't make don't make the the the 10,000 something less

  632. that you're not. Now, don't try to talk down the

  633. 10,000 that didn't hear that 23,000 leave 10,000 like we

  634. gonna move on. And he's like, man, look a

  635. little large. They're looking large.

  636. I think we going to have to wean it out.

  637. Let's get let's get some drinking going on now.

  638. I'm not talking drinking. You know, we're sipping water.

  639. All right. And so what's he doing?

  640. He says I'm, I'm, we need to weed out all who have

  641. self-interest because the ones that put their face down have no

  642. concept of what's going on around them.

  643. Their only self preservation. I'm thirsty, I'm taking care of

  644. me. I don't care about you beside me

  645. and I'm going to get my water. You watch out for me.

  646. But the ones are like, I watch out.

  647. I got you, I got you back. 300, man, 300 became a mighty moving

  648. force because you get around 300 and link up right now.

  649. I don't say you're going to stay at 300.

  650. I mean you could be 5000. The issue is everyone has to be

  651. linked up. They have to decide that it's

  652. not about me, it's about us. It's about the whole thing.

  653. And again, when we are going to advance with the armor of God,

  654. we're going to be strong in the Lord because first we are a

  655. complete unit that is unified to continue to March on.

  656. And we will only do what God says, even if it sounds as crazy

  657. as showing a light. You want me to do what?

  658. Just break. Just break it and blow a

  659. trumpet, man. That's it.

  660. OK, so I'm going to like, break this and blow.

  661. Yeah, but now there's 135,000 people down there.

  662. Yeah, I know. And you just want me to blow a

  663. trumpet? Don't move.

  664. Nope. OK, we got this.

  665. Now, it sounds illogical, but they trusted the word.

  666. Now in the scripture, they route themselves, but it's not like

  667. everyone dies because Gideon takes these boys and they go

  668. pursue and then they go conquer others themselves.

  669. They do become a part of the battle and conquer.

  670. And man, when you stay in the fight and get to the victory of

  671. your faith, there's nothing like getting around somebody saying,

  672. right, did we do it? Did we do it?

  673. Did we do it? And when I say we do it, did not

  674. God do what he said he would do? Did God not say what he he would

  675. do what he was going to do? Did we not just be in the most

  676. miraculous thing that's ever been a part of our life?

  677. I am so glad I experienced God with you in this moment.

  678. Wow, how powerful is that? So again, in these last days,

  679. our struggle is not against flesh and blood.

  680. It's not a people problem. There's other things that we

  681. need to contend with but if we're ever going to get into

  682. that kind of battle that we are not going to yield to their

  683. devices. The devil's divide to resist in

  684. the day of evil, then you're first going to have to be strong

  685. in the Lord and that is the simple everyday mundane, not

  686. flashy. Nobody even knows it's

  687. happening. No one even knows you exist.

  688. No one even knows the time you're putting in Tom that makes

  689. you the elite. I'm going to close with this

  690. thought I was listening to a coach talk to his team.

  691. We have a team rally coming up Friday.

  692. Hallelujah. You ready?

  693. And so this this college coach was talking to his team and he

  694. was talking about, you know, who's the greatest NBA player of

  695. all time. He said, now I'm Michael Jordan

  696. fan. He said he goes I never would

  697. have put Kobe Bryant there ever because when I watched his game,

  698. I considered him a ball hog. He was just a ball hog.

  699. You know, he always had the ball.

  700. He always took the shot, everything he said.

  701. So I just considered him a ball hog till I heard him in an

  702. interview one day and I thought I have misjudged him because in

  703. the interview he says he was it was a in a practice and he his

  704. teammate was like, why would you pass the ball to me more?

  705. He said, why would I pass you the ball in the crucial moment

  706. when you fall asleep and practice, you fall asleep in the

  707. in the film room that you don't come early and you don't stay

  708. late. You're not putting in any of the

  709. extra work. Why would I give you in the most

  710. crucial moment, the time to be able to make that shot when you

  711. don't put in the effort to be at the level to make that shot?

  712. He identified with his own teammates their inability to

  713. want to be greater of themselves.

  714. And I remember a personal interview itself where one of

  715. the guys that played with Kobe said that they had just lost a

  716. particular game, you know, and they and, or a series or

  717. whatever the case may be. And he's like, man, I'm going to

  718. get in early, you know, thinking about what Kobe does.

  719. And he said, I showed up two hours early before anybody was

  720. going to be there. I think I'm going to be the

  721. first one in. And he said, I walk in and

  722. there's Kobe with ice wrapped around his knees.

  723. And he was like, seriously? Because when I walked in early

  724. before everyone else to practice, before anyone else

  725. did, he had already finished practicing and was icing his

  726. knees. See, we love to watch

  727. Spectacular People, but we don't want to do.

  728. Everybody wants to be Elijah or Jet Paul, but we don't want to

  729. do. We just want to assume, well,

  730. Christ lives in me. I have the Holy Ghost too.

  731. It does not come just because. It comes because you submit

  732. yourself to seek Him. And what stops Anchor Faith

  733. Church? Nothing but us.

  734. And I would just submit. Nothing's going to stop us

  735. because we're going to be unstoppable because we're

  736. willing to do the extra. Hallelujah. 6:00 AM, Morning

  737. prayer. Come on, come get some.

  738. And if you want to get froggy and be here at 5, fine.

  739. You won't get in the building, but you can drive around the

  740. parking lot and pray. Hey, we don't have a problem

  741. with that. Amen.

  742. Put in the effort. Put in the hours of praying in

  743. the Spirit, Put in, put in the time of reading the Word.

  744. More than just a Bible study or checking the box of the daily

  745. Reading Bible plan. Read an extra book.

  746. We can do it. Amen.

  747. No one's making you. No one made Kobe do more.

  748. His coaches didn't. But because of the team he did

  749. when he lived beyond himself, he worked beyond himself.

  750. And he's saying to us, be strong in the Lord.

  751. Lord, just cry, children, come to me.

  752. Just come to me because the more you seeking, the more you're

  753. going to reflect him and that's an amazing thing to be.

  754. Amen. I want more too.

  755. Let's just do more.
