  1. Well, we are on our third week of reminding some of us of what

  2. belongs to us in the Kingdom of God.

  3. And then maybe it's just now a revelation to some that are in

  4. here that God wants us healed today and that that is part of

  5. his promise. Amen.

  6. That belongs to everyone who calls on His name.

  7. Amen. Hallelujah.

  8. But tonight I want to talk about how we can see the healing power

  9. of God working and being administrated into our bodies,

  10. how we receive the healing power of God through Scripture, where

  11. we can go through Scripture and see how this was administered to

  12. people in the Bible. Amen.

  13. And we are going to start in James chapter 5, James chapter 5

James 5 chapter mention James 5 chapter mention

  14. and see a few things in Scripture concerning.

  15. There's actually five ways that we can see through Scripture

  16. that God administers his healing to people.

  17. OK. And the 1st place we see here in

  18. James chapter 5 and verse 14 through 15, and I'm reading out

    James 5 chapter mention

  19. of the amplified, it says is anyone among you sick?

  20. He must call for the elders, spiritual leaders of the church

  21. and they are to pray over him, anointing them with oil in the

  22. name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith, say the

  23. prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick.

  24. The prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick again

  25. another scripture that proves to us that God wants us healed

  26. right and and here we see the first thing we can see from the

  27. scripture in verse 15th is by healing can be received through

  28. the prayer of faith. The prayer of faith.

  29. And then it says this, and the Lord will raise him up, and if

  30. he had committed sins, he will be forgiven.

  31. So here we see that there was the anointing oil.

  32. Now let me talk about the anointing oil.

  33. OK? The anointing oil here is

  34. symbolic of the Holy Spirit in power.

  35. OK, the Holy Spirit in power. So some people, you know, maybe

  36. you've never been to a church that actually laid hands on

  37. people. Maybe you've gone to a chore, a

  38. church where they do lay hands, but they use oil.

  39. They're using the oil because of this scripture right here, OK?

  40. Does it matter whether you use the oil or not?

  41. No, because again, it's the symbol, symbol of this, the Holy

  42. Spirit and His power. OK, So you know it, it's just up

  43. to the individual, OK? Again, that's not something that

  44. has to be done that way because again, it was the symbolicness

  45. of the power of God, OK, and the anointing that will come upon us

  46. as we pray over people by the prayer of faith.

  47. But listen to what he says. Anointing him in the name of the

  48. Lord, in the name of the Lord. One thing that we need to

  49. recognize is that we can receive healing through US speaking the

  50. name of Jesus. So it's through the prayer of

  51. faith and us invoking, so to speak, the name of Jesus upon

  52. people. You see that and they will be

  53. healed. OK, Now look over here in Mark

  54. 1123 and 24. Of course, I can't go back and

  55. give you all the scriptures that we have given you in the last

  56. two weeks, but I encourage you, if you've missed any of the

  57. healing series, you need to go back and listen to it.

  58. And again, this is something that actually should be a part

  59. of our yearly diet, right? So that we can stay in a

  60. position of defending off sickness and disease, right?

  61. So this is something through the Scriptures that we can always

  62. every year remind ourselves of about the healing of God.

  63. So Mark 1123 and 24, we know this Scripture.

  64. It says, for assuredly I say to you, whoever says to this

  65. mountain be removed and cast into the sea does not doubt in

  66. his heart, but believes that the things that he says will be

  67. done. He will have whatever he says.

  68. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you

  69. pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them.

  70. This is where we can also see a prayer of faith, meaning I am

  71. going to pray by faith to receive what it is that belongs

  72. to me. And we're talking about

  73. specifically healing tonight. OK, but let's go to Acts 3.

  74. And I am just moving along because I have a lot to cover

  75. and we're going to lay hands on people tonight.

  76. Are you expecting so? In Acts chapter 3 it says this

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  77. one through 10. It says Now Peter and John went

  78. up together to the temple about the hour of prayer, the 9th

  79. hour. And a certain lame man from his

  80. mother's womb was carried, whom laid there daily at the gate of

  81. the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask for alms from

  82. those who were entering the temple.

  83. Who's seen Peter and John about to go into the temple, ask for

  84. alms and fixing his eyes on him with John, Peter said look at

  85. us. So he gave them his attention,

  86. expecting to receive something from them.

  87. And then Peter said silver and gold I do not have, but what I

  88. do have I give to you. Here it is.

  89. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

  90. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

  91. Here we see a perfect example of him invoking the name of Jesus,

  92. carrying the anointing to be able to bring healing to this

  93. man. And he looked at him and grabbed

  94. the right-handed, lifting him up, and immediately his feet and

  95. ankle bones receive strength. So he leaping up, stood and

  96. walked and entered the temple with them.

  97. Walking and leaping and praising God.

  98. Say, walking and leaping and praising God.

  99. This is what happens when you receive your healing.

  100. There should be. Come on, some praising of God,

  101. there should be some leaping and rejoicing.

  102. Come on, when you've just encountered, of course he's

  103. jumping because he had never jumped before.

  104. The natural response this, this needs to you need to understand

  105. this, the natural response of you receiving from God is that

  106. you would praise him, that you would praising.

  107. Come on, natural response. I don't know anybody that has

  108. had sickness and disease in their body.

  109. When the doctor comes back and says you're healed that they

  110. don't, you know, it's a natural response.

  111. I just got a kink in my neck. It's a natural response to

  112. praise him. When you receive from him.

  113. That's any promise. That's any promise.

  114. Hallelujah, glory to God. So then they knew that it was he

  115. who sat at the the gate of the temple, and they were filled

  116. with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

  117. So again, he was actually being an example, testifying to what

  118. the Lord had done in his body. Everybody saw the miracle.

  119. Hallelujah. But he invoked the name of

  120. Jesus. Amen.

  121. And this was Peter, right? One of the disciples.

  122. Now let's look at another way that we can see through

  123. Scripture that healing was administered here in Acts

    Acts 19:11

  124. chapter 19, verses 11 and 12. We see it says this in verse 11.

  125. God was doing extraordinary and unusual miracles by the hands of

  126. Paul, say the hands of Paul. Everyone of you come on, got

  127. hands laid on your hands last week so that you could go out

  128. and do exactly what these disciples are doing.

  129. Amen. And so it says so that even

  130. handkerchiefs or face towels or aprons that had touched his skin

  131. were brought to the sick, and their disease left them and evil

  132. spirits came out of them. So we see here that they were

  133. laying hands on these aprons, these handkerchiefs, what we

  134. could call today just material, any type of material, because

  135. the healing power of God was able to flow through, Amen.

  136. And people were able to receive from that sickness.

  137. We've had. We have a testimony of here at

  138. our school in Washington of when Pastor Hagen or Pastor Craig was

  139. here and laid hands on some things, handkerchiefs.

  140. I think it was a T-shirt or something at Washington and for

  141. a child that they were saying had a brain tumor and the

  142. teacher, Miss Marise, I believe it was, had that shirt prayed

  143. over. We put that T-shirt up

  144. underneath his napping mat and they went back to the doctor and

  145. the tumor was gone. Amen.

  146. Hallelujah. Glory to God, right here, right

  147. here, Come on right now for today He's the same yesterday,

  148. today and forever for those who will believe, come on and invoke

  149. the power of God in the name of Jesus, in the prayer of faith,

  150. Hallelujah. Glory to God.

  151. Healing testimony should be flowing out of this place.

  152. Hallelujah. Now the next thing we see is

  153. found in Luke Chapter 7, Luke Chapter 7, and this is similar

Luke 7 chapter mention Luke 7 chapter mention

  154. to what Ernie was sharing earlier.

  155. All right, in Luke 7. Here we can see that the Word

  156. was spoken and healing was sent that very hour, and a servant

  157. was healed. The Word was spoken.

  158. We know we read this last week out of Psalms 107.

  159. He sent His Word and healed them.

  160. He sent His Word and healed them.

  161. Amen And you know what's so exciting is we've been getting

  162. calls from people that's been listening to these healing

  163. series and asking, hey, do you have those 101 healing

  164. scriptures on PDF? Could you e-mail that to me?

  165. Could you? People are receiving?

  166. Amen Come on, they're receiving. So Luke 7, one through 10 says

  167. this. Now when he concluded all of his

  168. sayings in hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum

  169. verse 2, and a certain centurion servant who was dear to him was

  170. sick and ready to die. So when he heard about Jesus,

  171. say he heard about Jesus. Do you know how many people need

  172. to hear about Jesus? They need to hear about Jesus.

  173. And again, reminding you of what Brother Hagin said, that healing

  174. is the dinner bell to salvation. And actually, I found out it

  175. actually didn't originate with him.

  176. It originated from a guy named Richard.

  177. I don't know how to pronounce Rainey.

  178. Maybe you know, you know him, Christopher.

  179. OK, Anyway, from back in the 1930s or something and, and any

  180. training or tranny or something like that, Richard tranny or

  181. something. And he's the actual one that

  182. Brother Hagen quoted that from. And so again, listen, people

  183. need to hear that God is the healer.

  184. And it will draw them into the Kingdom of God.

  185. It will draw them. Come on, we need to keep the

  186. bell ringing. Give me that bell.

  187. There's a bell down there. This was for kissing, but now

  188. we're going to use it for healing.

  189. Come on, Come on. For the dinner bell, the healing

  190. power of God going across Saint Augustine come on, that will

  191. draw people into the Kingdom of God glory to God, Pastor says I

  192. get crazy up here, but I guess I learned from the best so so.

  193. Praise the Lord, all right? What verse was I on?

  194. Does anybody following along? Verse 3?

  195. So when he heard about Jesus, he sent the elders of the Jews to

  196. him, pleading with him to come and heal his servant.

  197. And when they came to Jesus, they begged him earnestly,

  198. saying that one for whom he should do this was was

  199. deserving, for he loves our nation and has built us a

  200. synagogue. And then Jesus went with them,

  201. and when he was already not far from the house to centurion,

  202. sent back his friends to him, saying, Lord, don't even trouble

  203. yourself. I'm not even worthy that you

  204. should enter under my roof. Therefore I did not even think

  205. myself worthy to come to you. But just what?

  206. Say the Word? Just say the word, and my

  207. servant will be healed. And of course, we know the rest

  208. of the story. Come on.

  209. He was healed the moment he spoke the word that the guy at

  210. his house was healed. Come on, Through the Speaking of

  211. the Word and invoking the power of God through declaring that

  212. his body would be made whole, that he would be made, that he

  213. would be healed. Amen.

  214. Hallelujah. Glory to God, glory to God.

  215. And of course this, this, the rest of the Scripture is just

  216. amazing because again, Jesus said, I've not found such what

  217. great faith. So it was faith in the authority

  218. that Jesus carried. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  219. So just speak the Word only. And this is what Ernie was doing

  220. in his body, just speaking the Word and being in the prayer of

  221. agreement and the prayer of faith.

  222. Come on that this cancer cannot be in his body.

  223. Hallelujah. He resisted it.

  224. Whether it was there or whether it was gone, it's not in his

  225. body. Who cares, right?

  226. Proverbs 3 and 8 says this. Speaking of the word.

  227. It will be health to your body marrow, your nerves, your

  228. sewings, your muscles, and all of your inner parts.

  229. This is the word he was actually talking about the commandments

  230. and refreshment. Physical well-being to your

  231. bones. To your bones all the way.

  232. Say all the way to my bones. Cancer cannot live in my bones.

  233. Come on, this is what you got to say because he said it, it

  234. belongs to you. Hallelujah.

  235. Look at Proverbs 4. Proverbs 4/23/22 says this again

  236. about us. If my son will pay attention to

  237. my what and be willing to learn. Open your ears to my sayings.

  238. Do not let them escape your sight.

  239. Keep them in the center of your heart, for they will be what

  240. life to those who find them, and they will be what health and

  241. healing to all of your flesh. You reading the Word of God,

  242. getting the Word into the center of your heart, listening to the

  243. Word, obeying the Word, will bring healing all by itself to

  244. your body. That's why you can go to your

  245. next reunion and look 20 years younger than everybody else.

  246. Amen. Glory to God because it's health

  247. and it's healing naturally to your body.

  248. As you receive it, pay attention to it, obey it, do it, activate

  249. it, Amen. Then your body can be healed.

  250. Through the word literally it says healing and health to all

  251. your flesh. It literally this is when you

  252. look it up in the Hebrew, literally concretely a medicine.

  253. This is where we get that that the word is like medicine.

  254. It is literally, concretely when you look it up in the Hebrew

  255. medicine. So every time you read the word,

  256. it is medicine to your body. But let me tell you something,

  257. it's not member. We're talking about the whole

  258. man here. He says to your flesh, it can be

  259. medicine to your flesh. Remember First Thessalonians 523

  260. He wants you what completely healed spirit, soul, and body?

  261. Come on, spirit, soul and body. He wants your flesh healed and

  262. whole. He wants your mind sharp, full

  263. of the mind of Christ, not being tormented.

  264. Come on, by all kinds of tormenting thoughts.

  265. He wants you healed. He wants you whole, completely

  266. whole. Your physical body literally

  267. means a medicine. So This is why we ask people,

  268. are you taking your medicine every day?

  269. Because man should not live by what?

  270. But by what? So are you taking your medicine

  271. everyday? Are you believing that when I'm

  272. reading it, health and healing is coming to my body?

  273. Come on, in every area that I need healing, Glory to God.

  274. It also means this word literally means deliverance.

  275. It means a cure, a healing, a remedy.

  276. This is the remedy of what you need.

  277. Whatever's going on in your life, it's the remedy.

  278. You don't need a special concoction, come on.

  279. Or a cocktail, what they call them when you got 30 different

  280. pills you're having to take. Come on, know what you need.

  281. The remedy is right here in the word of God that will bring

  282. complete health and healing in every area of your life.

  283. Hallelujah, every area remedy, it's for everything.

  284. Come on. It also means sound, which goes

  285. back to that mind realm. You can have a what sound mind,

  286. a sound mind, Hallelujah. And it also means wholesome.

  287. So again, wholesome. Everything he wants made whole.

  288. Everything, everything. And every time we sit up

  289. underneath the word of God, we're receiving in our medicine

  290. for these areas in our life. And you know, sometimes some

  291. medicines take longer than others, but we want it now.

  292. Now God can heal now. But some of it is going to take

  293. time, especially when it comes to your mind, because that's a

  294. constant renewal that's having to take place every day.

  295. Renewing of your mind, renewing of your mind, renewing of your

  296. mind to the word of God. Because it's so easy to start

  297. slipping back and thinking like you used to think and thinking

  298. like the world or taking on a new world thought, right?

  299. So that's why we need it daily. That's why we need it daily,

  300. Amen. Because it's the washing of the

  301. watering of the word, Hallelujah.

  302. The washing of the watering of the Word that brings healing to

  303. our body. So the Word will literally bring

  304. healing to us if we will actually believe what the Word

  305. has said. Why?

  306. Because Hebrews 12 we know, or Hebrews 4 verse 12 we know this

    Hebrews 4:12

  307. scripture for what the Word of God is, living and active, full

  308. of power. I'm reading out of the amplified

  309. making it operative, energizing, and effective.

  310. So this medicine is effective. Guess what?

  311. They don't have to try another dose or another level or another

  312. different prescription altogether because the one they

  313. gave you didn't seem to gel with you or be effective in you.

  314. No, He's letting us know, Hallelujah, that the Word of God

  315. is alive. It's operative, it's energizing,

  316. and it is effective for everybody's healing today.

  317. It is sharper than any 2 edged sword, able to penetrate as far

  318. as the division. Here it is of the soul and the

  319. spirit, the completeness of a person, and all the way to both

  320. your joints and marrow, to the deepest parts of our nature,

  321. exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of one's

  322. heart. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  323. So He doesn't want to just bring spiritual healing to you from

  324. His Word. He also wants the Word to bring

  325. physical healing to you. Physical healing, Physical

  326. healing to your body. Jeremiah 112 Now Jeremiah we

  327. know was a prophet and we know he had a specific word for

  328. specific people, but he goes on to say this Jeremiah 112 It says

  329. then the Lord said to me, you have seen well, for I am

  330. actively watching over my word to fulfill it.

  331. See, this is a promise that belongs to us that the word of

  332. God is living inactive. Come on, and that God is

  333. actively watching over his word to perform it, to perform what?

  334. The miracles, the healings, come on everything we need a remedy

  335. for what's going on in our body when the doctors can't figure

  336. out what's going on. Guess who knows it all?

  337. My healer, Jehovah Rapha, the Great Physician.

  338. Because there is no one greater, There's no higher doctor in this

  339. world than the great Physician, Hallelujah, that knows every

  340. detail about your body and exactly what you need.

  341. If he knows every hair on your head, he knows everything that's

  342. going on within you and can let you know.

  343. Hallelujah can let you know what needs to adjust, come on, what

  344. you need because you may think you need healing for something

  345. that's going on in your body. And he realizes that's just not

  346. even the root of your problem. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  347. See, I trust Him as the great physician.

  348. Isaiah 5511 says this. So will my word, which goes

  349. forth out of my mouth. It will not return unto me,

  350. void, useless, or without a result, without accomplishing

  351. what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for

  352. which I sent it. So He will do what He sent His

  353. word to do, and guess what He sent His word to do?

  354. To heal you, to heal your children, to heal your body.

  355. Come on, He sent His word and we know who His word was.

  356. Who was it? Jesus.

  357. And we know, look how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth, who

  358. went about what doing good and healing all who were oppressed

  359. of the devil. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  360. He's the healer. He's the healer and he still

  361. wants people healed today. Now, the next thing we want to

  362. see, and this is going to be a little bit that we're going to

  363. focus here, is that the number one most way that God is going

  364. to administer healing to us is through the laying on of hands.

  365. The laying on of hands. We can see the laying on of

  366. hands multiple, multiple places. OK.

  367. This is how we are able to another way receive that healing

  368. power. OK, it's through the healing

  369. power of God or the laying on of hands.

  370. Now, we can see in the Old Testament that people also laid

  371. hands on people, but it wasn't for healing In the Old

  372. Testament, they laid hands on people.

  373. And the reason why I'm saying this is because, again, some

  374. people may not know that laying on a hands is an elementary

  375. principle. It's a doctrine of the church.

  376. And you go to some churches and you've never seen people lay

  377. hands on people. So it may be a little different

  378. to people when they come in and think what's going on, right?

  379. So again, we have so many new people from so many other places

  380. they've met. It may have never seen people

  381. being having let hands laid on them.

  382. But this is a doctrine of the church.

  383. Amen, The laying out of hands. And actually we're going to see,

  384. because I'm going to give you just a little quickie about that

  385. out of Hebrews, that it is an elementary principle.

  386. The laying on of hands is an elementary principle that means

  387. this is something that you as a newborn believer into the

  388. Kingdom of God should be a being taught and it should be being

  389. applied as you recognize this is just part of the way that the

  390. church functions, OK. It is a fundamental doctrine of

  391. the Church. And so in the Old Covenant,

  392. though I want to talk about this, that when the people laid

  393. hands on people in the old covenant, it was usually for a

  394. blessing. You know, they would lay hands

  395. on them and they would bless the older children.

  396. They would lay, you know, they would also lay hands on those

  397. that were getting ready to go into a, a new leadership

  398. position, right? Whether it be a new king or

  399. someone like that. There would be a laying on of

  400. hands as well. So we can see this in the old

  401. covenant. But here let's read Hebrews 6-1

  402. and three. I'm not going to give you the

  403. old, all the old covenant scriptures, but I have 5 down

  404. here. But in Hebrews 6/1 through

  405. three, it says there, therefore leaving the discussion of

  406. elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection.

  407. That word also means let us go on to maturity.

  408. We're going from elementary into high school, so to speak.

  409. We're leaving the elementary principles and we're to go on

  410. into maturity beyond these things.

  411. So let us go on into maturity or perfection.

  412. It says not laying again, the foundation of repentance from

  413. dead works, right faith towards God, the doctrine of baptism and

  414. of laying on of hands. You see this, this was an

  415. elementary principle that every believer in the church age would

  416. have encountered because we saw the church age obviously

  417. encounter it as well in the book of Acts.

  418. That's all they did. And then we know Jesus did it in

  419. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. He laid hands on people and they

  420. received their healing he laid hands on people and they

  421. received their healing and of the resurrection of the dead.

  422. So here an eternal judgment. These are like 6 doctrines of

  423. the church repentance faith towards God baptism, right,

  424. which is water baptism, but not only that baptism, but how about

  425. the baptism and the Holy Spirit right with the evidence of

  426. speaking in tongues. Then we see the laying on of

  427. hands. This is a fundamental doctrine,

  428. the resurrection of the dead that means that we believe

  429. they're going to we're and arise be in heaven, right, come back

  430. down to the earth and then eternal judgment that there is a

  431. judgment day coming for those who have not called on the name

  432. of the Lord. You see that.

  433. So these are fundamental principles or doctrines of the

  434. church. So if we're not seeing these

  435. this demonstrated in churches, you might could ask yourself, am

  436. I just in an elementary school? Just a thought.

  437. So let's look at a bunch of scriptures in the New Testament

  438. that we see we're laying on of hands took place.

  439. OK, now everybody doing good again.

  440. I am just wanting to lay a great foundation that again we are

  441. going to prove that it is God's will to heal through scripture,

  442. not disprove it from experience. First Timothy chapter 4 and

    1 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  443. verses 13 through 14. Remember now I talked about in

  444. the Old Testament that they would lay hands on transfer of

  445. leadership or administer blessings upon those, and here

  446. we see that and a perfect example of this it says in verse

  447. 13. Until I come to vote yourselves

  448. to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and

  449. teaching sound doctrine of God's Word, do not neglect the

  450. spiritual gift within you, that special endowment which was

  451. intentionally bestowed on you by the Holy Spirit through the

  452. prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands on you

  453. at ordination. So here we see someone being an

  454. elder, laying hands on someone just like they did in the old

  455. covenant to walk into what it is that they were called to walk

  456. into through leadership. Timothy obviously was a pastor,

  457. right? So it was a type of them

  458. ordaining them into the ministry.

  459. OK, Second Timothy chapter 1 and verse 6, it says that is why I

    2 Timothy 1 chapter mention

  460. remind you to fan the flame, the gracious gift of God, that inner

  461. fire, that special endowment which was in you through the

  462. laying on of hands with those of the elders.

  463. Right here again, you're seeing that scripture at your

  464. ordination. Acts 13, Acts 13, two and three,

  465. this is awesome. It says this, as they ministered

  466. to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Now separate me,

  467. Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them, And

  468. then having fasted and prayed what they do, they laid their

  469. hands on them and sent them out for the work of ministry.

  470. You see that. So another way, we're seeing how

  471. this laying on of hands is activated in the New Testament.

  472. Now Acts 19, Acts 19, I'm showing this one because we're

  473. seeing the laying on of hands, I believe, for the baptism of the

  474. Holy Spirit. Acts 19, one through 7, it says

  475. this. And it happened when Apollos was

  476. at Corinth, that Paul having passed through the upper

  477. regions, came to Ephesus and finding some of the disciples,

  478. he said to them, did you receive the Holy Spirit when you

  479. believed? So they had said to him, We have

  480. not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.

  481. Here it is. Look verse 3.

  482. And he said to them, and to whom then were you baptized?

  483. And so they said into John, John's baptism, This is the

  484. baptism that you're receiving once you get born again.

  485. Here you can see the two different baptisms, which we

  486. said was also an elementary principle, water baptism and the

  487. baptism in the Holy Spirit. Right.

  488. And then he goes on to say, then Paul said, John indeed baptized

  489. you. Here it is with the baptism of

  490. repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on him

  491. who would come after him, that is, on Christ.

  492. And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the

  493. Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands

  494. on them, say, laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon

  495. them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied Now the

  496. man, now the men were about 12 in all.

  497. So here you see a perfect example of what we talked about

  498. actually out of Hebrews, right? And we see the difference

  499. between the two. And you know, it's good that

  500. we're refreshing ourselves with this because again, some people

  501. probably are not even filled with the spirit in here with the

  502. evidence of speaking in tongues. And guess what?

  503. God wants it for you. And it is an elementary

  504. principle. It's for all who will believe.

  505. It's for every believer. It's it's actually for babes in

  506. Christ. You don't have to be mature to

  507. be able to receive it. The minute you get born again,

  508. you can also get filled with the Spirit and the evidence of that

  509. will be that you will pray and speak in other tongues.

  510. Amen. Hallelujah, glory to God.

  511. And there's people that need it because it will absolutely

  512. change your life. It is the more it is what you're

  513. missing. It is what you need.

  514. Acts 6, one through 7. Now in those days, the number of

  515. the disciples here it is because This is why we laid hands on

  516. everyone last week. Now in those days when the

  517. number of the disciples were multiplying, there arose a

  518. complaint against the Hebrews of the Hellenistic Jews, right,

  519. because the widows were being neglected in the daily

  520. distribution. And then the 12 summoned the

  521. multitude of the disciples, and said, It is not desirable that

  522. we should leave the Word and serve tables.

  523. Therefore, brethren, seek out among you seven men of good

  524. rapport, full of the Holy Spirit.

  525. Look at this. They had to be full of the Holy

  526. Spirit as well, and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this

  527. business. But we will give ourselves

  528. continually to prayer and the ministry of the Word and the

  529. saying, please, the whole multitude.

  530. And so of course, they chose Steven, a man full of faith and

  531. the Holy Spirit. I love Steven as well, and

  532. Philip. You know, and all these people,

  533. and Nicholas, a proselyte from Antioch, whom they set before

  534. the apostles. And when they had prayed, what

  535. did they do? Laid their hands on them.

  536. And then the word of God spread and the number of disciples

  537. multiplied greatly in Jerusalem. And a great many of the priests

  538. were obedient to the faith. You see that they laid their

  539. hands on them. Now, I know you're saying when

  540. are we going to see where they laid their hands on the sit?

  541. OK, we're getting there. But I want to say this, that

  542. there are over 31 incidences in the New Testament where the

  543. apostles in Jesus laid their hands on individuals to receive

  544. their healing, OK. And we can see that it was

  545. either also he laid his member, he laid his hands on the little

  546. children that came to him, and he what?

  547. He blessed them just like we see how He blessed how they blessed

  548. in the Old Covenant. He laid His hands on them for

  549. healing. We see the Scripture where He

  550. laid his hands on them for receiving the Holy Spirit.

  551. And then we also see again they laid their hands on them to

  552. separate them into leadership or position of the ministry.

  553. You see that. So we read all of those

  554. Scriptures to prove that out, that we can see that in the New

  555. Testament as well, and the works that Jesus and the disciples

  556. did. Now look at Mark 6, Mark 6,

  557. We're going to see where Jesus himself, right?

  558. So in Mark 6, chapters one through 6, it says this.

  559. Then he went out from there and came to his own country, and his

  560. disciples followed him was the Sabbath had come, and he began

  561. to teach in the synagogues. And many hearing him, were

  562. astonished, saying, where did this man get these things?

  563. And that what wisdom is this which is given to him, that such

  564. mighty works were performed by His hands?

  565. Is this not the Carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of

  566. James and Judas Simon? And are they not his sisters?

  567. Here is with us. So they were offended at him.

  568. And but Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor,

  569. except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his

  570. own house. Now He couldn't do no mighty

  571. work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people.

  572. One scripture where we see he laid his hands on a few sick

  573. people and hid them, healed them, and he marveled because of

  574. their unbelief. And then he went about the

  575. villages right teaching. Luke 4:40 through 41 when the

    Luke 4:40–41

  576. sun was setting, and all those who had any that were sick,

  577. where with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid

  578. his hands on every one of them and healed them.

  579. And demons also came out of many crying out and saying, You are

  580. the Christ, the Son of God. And He rebuking them did not

  581. allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ,

  582. Amen. So we see clearly that He wants

  583. to administer healing through the laying on of hands, Amen.

  584. And the healing power of God can flow.

  585. And you know you can receive. You just have to be in a

  586. position of faith. You then, you know, have to say

  587. I am going to receive the healing power of God in my body

  588. through them laying hands on me. Amen.

  589. That's where you can be in faith because not everybody will just

  590. simply believe the word that God can heal them.

  591. So this is another way that healing can be administered is

  592. so that they can be in a position of agreement as well

  593. with someone again that can believe God for him.

  594. Pray and also out of first Corinthians chapter 12, if the

    1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention

  595. Lord's willing, a working of a great, you know, miracle and

  596. faith could be a gift of the spirit in operation as well.

  597. You see that and so we have to be in a position that we receive

  598. when we come up. We're just not going through a

  599. motion of, oh, they're just like, no, this isn't a blessing.

  600. It's not a blessing. I'm not just laying my hands on

  601. you and saying bless you, bless you, bless you.

  602. No, there is got to be faith in activation for the power of God

  603. to flow. Amen.

  604. For the power of God to flow. And it's easier when someone's

  605. in agreement with you, unless there is a gift of healing,

  606. right? And that's supernatural.

  607. That's beyond my faith and beyond your faith.

  608. It's God's faith flowing and working through us.
