The Fivefold Effect - Part Five

So First Corinthians chapter 12, verse 18 to 20 says, but now God

1 Corinthians 12:18–20

has placed the members, each one of them in the body just as he

desires. If they were all one member,

where would the body be? But now there are many members,

but one body, say there's many members, one body, many members,

one body. So we are many members, but one

body. And I like to say it this way,

in the Kingdom of God, you do not lose your individuality.

However, you do lose your independence because again,

you're in the Kingdom, not in a church in the United States.

There's a difference. You can be in a church in the

United States and take United States principles of

independence, the freedom that's spoken about the United States,

and different things. I can say whatever I want to say

whenever I want to say. It's called freedom of speech.

Not in the Kingdom, because in the Kingdom, if you say whatever

you want to say, you'll have whatever you say.

And if you say stuff contrary to the king, then you're going to

have challenges. In the Kingdom, you're supposed

to say what the king is saying because he has words of life.

I don't want to say deaf words. I want to have life.

Words, death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Amen. So you may say whatever you want

to say in an American Christian Church, but in the Kingdom of

God, we are supposed to say what the king is saying because

there's life. And that's where liberty exists,

all right? And so we are not independent of

one another. We are actually completely

dependent upon one another. Although we are individual

members, we have individual and we have individuality.

We have our own giftings, our way of doing things.

We are here to complement each other.

I do not see a believer when they have some challenges as

being a conflict. I just know they're having to

get their carnality together because I see them as a

compliment. And when you function in your

gifting in Christ, you only make me better and I'll only make you

better. And as we yield to that, then we

become this one body, not seen as many members, but just as

one. Wouldn't you love it?

I know I do. If somebody looks at me and say

anchor faith, that means you don't even know who I am, but

you associate with me with a big vision, with a vision, with a

place, something bigger than an individual.

Amen. That's where you ultimately want

to become. Why?

Because John said I must decrease, he must increase.

In essence, you know, you can become so lost in the church

that they don't even know you by name, but they sure know you by

the vision you carry. Glory to God because the only

name that we need to exalt is His name, the head of the

church, Jesus Christ the King. Ernest Gentile said this.

Why stress local churches so much?

Very simply because the local church is the key messenger of

Christ to the secular community. The people of a local church

become the heart, the hands and the voice of Jesus Christ.

This brilliant strategy is God's way of maintaining active

spiritual life in his Saints and then through them impacting the

secular world. When the people of the community

see the members of the local, of the local church body, they will

see Christ and they will, if everyone becomes one, unified.

Are you hearing me in Ephesians 47?

Just to let you know. But to each one of us, but to

each one of us, grace was giving according to the measure of

Christ's gift. So everyone of us have a gift

from God and we are all a gift. Go ahead and say to yourself, I

am a gift. You are not lying because you

are now. You may be calling those things

that be not as though they were right now because you don't see

yourself as a gift, thinking of yourself as a gift.

Or you may have your own undeveloped mind challenges

where you see yourself less than someone else.

Listen, you're not less, you're you, and God made you unique.

He made you the way He wanted to make you, and He did.

And He made you in a way that you will complement and connect

with others within the body He assigned you because He is into

body assignment. He picks it.

He places you, as we just read in First Corinthians 12, in the

body where it pleases him. So again, when you fight against

what you're destined to do, you're not fighting with other

members of the church. You're fighting with God

himself, so don't fight against God.

Just go ahead and be what God's called you to be because it's

the most exciting thing ever. And the grace of God will begin

to flow in your life and and and life.

Although there will be challenges at times because he

said in this world you're going to have trials and tribulation,

but be of good cheer for I've overcome the world.

The grace in you will be sufficient for you to function

and flow through anything, and the church bodies there to help

out. So we all are a gift.

Then he then in the 11th verse of this same chapter, it says

that he gave some as apostle, some as prophets, some as

evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers for the equipment

of the Saints for the work of service to the building up of

the body of Christ. So some of the grace gifts are

the apostle, prophets, evangelist, pastors and

teachers. So not all the Saints possess

those gifts, but some of the Saints possess those gifts and

the Bible talks about those particular gifts so that you can

clearly identify when someone is truly an apostle, truly a

pastor, truly a teacher, truly a prophet, and truly an

evangelist. Because the Bible does talk

about false ones and that's because they have personal

ambitions. But if you just yield to God and

just because there is a false doesn't mean the true cannot.

And too often in the church, unfortunately, because we may

have seen or experienced some that did not function properly

or in some instances may be truly have the gift but made

some failures because unfortunately not everyone's

perfect. Are you hearing me?

And again, you know, if the pastor doesn't do it perfect

man, if you don't watch out, the Saints will crucify them.

But yet the pastor is to be long-suffering and to help the

Saints alone. And, you know, we should not get

into that kind of routine where Saints can be forgiven, but the

fivefold cannot. All right, So there are these

giftings that are there just because some don't do it

perfect. Well, you understand, some

Saints don't do it perfect. Amen.

Who's the perfect St. here? Come on, raise your hand.

Come on up front. That way we can identify you.

Hey, chance, were you raising your hand?

Was that what you were saying? Oh, you're just scratching your

your your cheek. I got you.

I understand. All right.

Right. Well, you're like, well,

obviously past. Well, who's the perfect five

fold? Minister, would you please come

down front? I mean, I'm, I'm down front now,

but that doesn't mean I'm perfect by any means, right?

OK. Well, if we can accept that,

then we shouldn't be able to accept easily to forgive people.

Should we be made known that there's something going on if

there is something going on, All right, because it's about what

we're going to talk about today through the evangelist gift

called reconciliation. It's called restoration.

Because the minute you get where you can't restore, then you're

not listening to the right Holy Ghost, the right Spirit at all,

because he came to restore, to reconcile not only us to God,

but if you're reconciled to God, then you'll be reconciled to

your brothers. Amen.

Amen. Anyway, all right, so earnest

Gentile said the object of the fivefold gifts is to enable the

whole church to become spiritually mature and truly

function as representatives of Christ's Kingdom.

Amen. So Second, Timothy 4-5 says, but

you talking about the evangelist, be sober in all

things, in dear hardship, do the work of the evangelist, fulfill

your minister. Now Paul is talking to Timothy

who is pastoring the church at Ephesus, and it it lets us know

that the fivefold minister of a pastor can do the work of the

fivefold minister of the evangelist, even though they may

not be an evangelist. Are you hearing me?

Because this one particular gift has the least amount of

information about it. As far as direct, there's only

one person listed as one in the word as an evangelist, and his

name is Philip, OK. And we're going to look at one

of his city assignments when he went as the evangelist there.

OK, so we understand this particular role, but we

recognize there is the evangelist, obviously, Ephesians

4. Now we see Second Timothy

2 Timothy 4 · chapter mention

chapter 4 that we have an evangelist and an evangelist has

a work of ministry. So what is the evangelist?

What's his work is to present the good news of the Kingdom of

God and Jesus Christ to non Christians in the in our area or

we could say secular community so they will be caused to

repent, be baptized and be assimilated into the local

church. In essence, the primary role of

the evangelist is to persuade non believers to become

believers. But here's the thing, true

evangelists are not going out to have people born again and not

connect them to a church that's not a true evangelist.

Because true evangelism is going to a non believer, revealing to

them the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ in such a way by

the anointing that it causes them to repent, be born again,

become a disciple, follow with water baptism and assimilate

into the body or the local body church.

That's the goal. And what we have done, if we

don't watch out, is that we'll send this messaging.

All that matters is that people get saved.

That is not all that matters. That is not in the Scripture

that all that matters is that people get saved.

It does not say that. That is not the only thing that

matters. In fact, Jesus doesn't even give

that call that people would just be saved.

He actually says, and we'll see it, to go into all the world and

make a disciple is more than someone just getting saved.

I mean, we understand to come and confess Jesus Christ as our

Lord to receive the blood he's already shed for us and is on

the mercy seat in heaven and that we can receive that

forgiveness to where we become this new creature in Christ.

The old passed away. Behold, all things become new.

This is a what this is an event that occurs, but it's from a

confession that he's Lord. Well, if he's truly Lord, then

you would follow whatever he says, and he says more than just

know where you're going to be when you die.

Jesus never went publicly and said, do you know where you're

going to go when you die? That was not his message.

Now, do I know where I'm going to go when I die?

Yes. The scripture tells me because

I'm born again to be absent from the body, I'll be present with

the Lord. But that's not why I'm saved.

I'm saved because God wanted me to become his child again, by

which he will take care of me now, by which he'll put me back

in the dominion that Adam lost so that the Kingdom can function

in my life in this earth today. So his Kingdom can come, His

will can be done. It's in on the in the earth like

it is in heaven through my life. And I can have everything that's

afforded to me in the name of Jesus.

I walk into destiny, not destination, because a person

holding out for destination will not live in the earth like

someone who knows their destiny. Totally different existence.

And so God wants the evangelist to compel by the Spirit, the

unsaved to become children of God are believers in Christ so

that they can be discipled and planted within the local body

church with the rest of the family.

Because Jesus lets you know who your family is.

Your family is not the color of your skin, your last name, the

ones that came out of your womb are the womb you came from.

Your family is according to Jesus is that who is my family.

When his birth, his the mother that birthed him was there and

then the siblings that are half siblings because they were

birthed through his Mama. But with the help of Joseph, OK

wanted to talk to him at a particular meeting.

He was having me and he says to the crowd, who is my mother and

my brothers and sisters, It's those who do the will of my

father, which opens up beyond the nation of Israel.

Amen. And so God wants you in the

family so that you can be encouraged, strengthened, and

that all of God's Kingdom power can function and flow through

you. Acts chapter 21, verse 8 says it

this way. And on the next day we left and

came to Caesarea and entering the House of Philip the

Evangelist, who was one of the seven, we stayed with him.

Now who's one of the seven, Philip first, I like this about

what Steven Bradshaw was saying to me one day and we had lunch

together. He says, you know, I always kind

of took First Corinthians chapter 12 is that, you know,

1 Corinthians 12 · chapter mention

God placed us in the body where it pleases him.

So if you're an elbow, you're always an elbow, he said.

But I realized that God will place you in his body.

It's not so much a literal body part where you'll always be the

elbow, but you'll you'll do what God's asked you to do in the

local assembly. He placed you and assigned you

and as you're faithful to his word and to walk in love and

walk in forgiveness and allow the fruits of the Spirit to

manifest in your life, and then you grow as a disciple as you're

showing faithfulness. You may have this one assignment

within the church body, but God could move you to other

assignments, ultimately to the to an assignment that could be

fivefold ministry. Now, that doesn't mean fivefold

ministry is better than Saints. It's just an assignment because

he said, I realized that you went to church prior to being

called a pastor, of which I just served.

So by all rights, even though from my mother's womb he knew

the call that he had for me, I had not yet discovered it.

So I was functioning merely as a St. serving in the local body

that I believe God had placed me in based upon how I knew and

could hear from God. Now, I've grown quite a bit

since then, you know, did the best I could.

And you know, God really helped me a lot in, you know, my

immaturity, that's for sure. But the reality is Philip is one

of the ones that when there was an issue in the Jerusalem church

concerning feeding Hellenistic Jews that they had that there

was complaint happening and A and a one that was duly noted,

it was an issue. So when it's brought to Peter,

James and them, they're having this conversation concerning

this issue. They said now based upon the

position or the place that God has put us in the body, it's not

for us to do that assignment. We have this assignment of

prayer and ministering the word. So find 7 men and there were

qualifications. I'm going to say that again.

There were qualifications. Listen, just 'cause you want to

do something does not mean you're going to be able to do

something. I don't set the standard.

God sets the standard. I don't set the standard.

God sets the standard. Now does that mean you have to

be perfect to serve? No, but they're still

qualifications. And in this particular scenario

of feeding these widows, this was the qualification.

Find me 7 men full of the Holy Ghost, full of wisdom.

Was there a third one too? And a good reputation, which

means what are you putting on social media?

Is it allowing your reputation to look all right?

Say Amen anyway, I mean, I'm not posting.

So again, there's there's qualifications because God even

wants someone who's handing out food to represent him.

Now you can act any old way if you representing you, but if

you're representing the Kingdom, the Bible has a holy standard,

not mine. Now pastor man, you sure are

making it tough you. I'm not making nothing, I'm

following the king period. Now what if you're somewhere and

you mess up? We can restore you no issue.

Plenty of people have served in areas and blew it and we talked

to them, get them restored and then put them back in place.

Pretty simple, not very difficult.

Amen. So at the end of the day, you

have to be full of the Holy Ghost, full of wisdom and have a

good reputation just to be able to feed widows, of which Philip

was 1. So Philip wasn't called the

evangelist then? Philip was a St. serving widow

women. And he obviously did it with

such passion, faithfulness, and determination that the Lord

says, you know what, I'm going to use you in the fivefold

ministry as an evangelist. So in order for us to see one of

the the first written accounts of him serving as an evangelist

for the church, we must go back to Acts chapter 8.

Acts 8 · chapter mention

In Acts chapter 8, starting in verse 5, it says Philip went

down to the city of Samaria and began proclaiming Christ to

them. Now I'm going to move some

scripture. Not that I'm taking it out of

context. I'm just bringing it up to fill

because you understand in writing you can make a statement

and then later on in your writing explain something

previously stated. I just want to put it in order.

So with that being said, Verse. 4 again, or verse 5, Peter went

down to the city of Samaria and began proclaiming Christ to

them. Verse 12 tells us exactly what

he was proclaiming. But when they believed Philip

preaching the good news. This is what the evangelist

does. What is the good news about the

Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus?

They were being baptized, men and women alike.

So when he went down to Samaria and began proclaiming Christ,

Christ is not last name of Jesus.

That one statement is really saying that he went and

proclaimed the King and his Kingdom.

That is the message of the evangelist, a true evangelist.

That is a study of the word and recognize.

And if they'll go and study the lineage of what a evangelist do,

you'll find that they are there to herald the king of the

Kingdom. Now they'll get to this fact

that the king came and died for you as a lamb without spot or

wrinkle on a cross, so that he could sow his life, his seed of

kingship, so that you could be redeemed and be placed back in

dominion or rulership. The the rulership that Adam had

when the earth was first created, but lost when he ate

from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Jesus came to restore that to us.

Hallelujah and so he's preaching look what how it's reads about

the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus.

Why is that? He says in essence, it sounds

like what Jesus said repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at

hand. Well, who is this king of your

Kingdom? His name is Jesus.

Well, I thought you'd be a little more excited about that.

His name is Jesus. Hallelujah.

I think we need to take some time to do some training right

here. All right, the ministering of

the Word is so that you can have ears to hear to do.

I get it. But when your spirit hears, you

should have a response. And don't allow your hearing to

lull your spirit so that when something like praise God that

you're like, well, I don't want to say anything.

You should shout it. You should proclaim it.

If you need to stand, stand. Now, if you're a person that

stands all the time, you might want to stand further back

because we definitely don't want you stand in front of the camera

all the time, right? So Brandon, you're not going to

be able to stand up all the time because the cameras there, he'd

be like, and then he stands up again and we're like, man, we

can't get him in the shot. So again, if you're a person

that gets excited, we'll find just give you a little bit

further back. And we don't mind you being

exuberant a little bit further because again, you got to

realize there's people in front of you too.

However, there are right times to respond and we should do

that. Amen.

Because, listen, you sure didn't have to tell the swamp when to

respond. He didn't have to do it.

Tony, be All right. I'll be past a minute.

I mean, a catch. They would jump up a long run,

they would jump up a touchdown. They would jump up and send off

fireworks. So your King's name is Jesus,

right? Right.

I mean, somebody that doesn't know the Lord, when they hear

his children hear his name, they should be like, what's going on

here? I mean, who wants to go?

Earnest said. The problem with evangelism

today is that most people don't want to go to the church because

the people aren't demonstrating what they're selling outside the

church that they're getting. Man, you need this life of

Christ. Then you come to the church and

we're like, I'm like, you know, when they were lost, they went

to the club. When they went to the club, the

club didn't look like this. What are you doing?

I'm trying to figure out who I can pick up today.

Music's gone. You see anybody?

Yeah. There's just one girl over there

I was looking at, you know, she's just standing on the wall.

Get your back up off the wall, right?

Come on. You know what I'm talking about

John, right? I mean, John had no problem

dancing because John when he was in the club, he danced, right?

And he is not going to let his dancing in a club out dance his

praise to his king, right? I mean, I'm not correcting John.

And you know what, John's not actually distracting.

He'll get right over here in his corner because some of you can't

ain't handling how he's dancing. But now when you were drinking

in the day, I mean you were dancing worse.

John actually has rhythm. I mean, I watched John sometimes

and I'm like, bro, he's on every beat.

I mean, he's like doing it. And then they switch songs and

he'll jump over. So seem, I mean like transition.

I'm like, come on, man. And that's why you know, you're

not dancing because you'd be like and everybody like what

happened? Did they trip?

What right, I get it. If you want to dance and

anointing, just get over there by John a little bit, right?

Learn some of his Holy Ghost steps.

Hallelujah. All right, I mean, I praise the

Lord. All right, Acts chapter 8.

Acts 8 · chapter mention

So he's preaching Jesus, the Kingdom of God, the name of

Jesus, and the people are being baptized, men and women alike.

Now let's go back to verse 6. We'll go to 6:00 and 8:00 and

we'll see some things here. As an evangelist, the crowds

were with one accord giving attention to what was said by

him because the anointing on Phillips Life allows him to be

able to draw this crowd as they heard and saw the science he was

performing. Because a lot of times with the

evangelist, healing will be a gift that through the gifts of

the spirit that can get in operation because healing.

One minister said, I think it was Oral Roberts is the dinner

bell to salvation. Just being that God is

compassionate and good and you may not be born again, but God

loves you and he wants to take care of you.

He'll do more than just heal your body, OK.

And again, a lot of times, healing shows the culture of the

Kingdom. So when the evangelist is

ministering, he's there to minister what the Kingdom looks

like. So healing is a byproduct of

what the king Kingdom of Heaven looks like.

There's no sick people up there. None.

So you know, and it says in many cases those who had unclean

spirits were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice, and

many have been paralyzed and lame were healed.

So there was much what which here's another thing, if you

look at the evangelist or you look at when evangelism is

happening in a community for the first time, it says there's

rejoicing that takes place. This is why a true, a true

evangelist will have joy associated with them when they

minister. This is why Reverend Pat, we

call him Pastor Roddy and he does pastor church, but he's

also Roddy the evangelist. And This is why joy is a lot of

times associated with him because he has such a passion to

see the lost saved, to come into the Kingdom of God.

And that's why that joy seems to resonate with him.

I mean, it's supernatural. He doesn't have to try.

It's just there because that's part of the, you know, the

anointing that's with the evangelist.

Because again, when you're stuck in the world in your sin, full

of guilt, shame, depression, I mean, the joy of the Lord will

break some stuff off Hallelujah, Amen.

Now, the good thing is just as a St. you can tap into joy anyway,

Praise the Lord, you got to give to it.

Amen. Yes, yes, you do.

So what does the evangelist do now?

Listen, unlike what we see in the US And again, I, I say this

because when you look at the Bible, the Bible's still alive

and relevant today. In fact, it's already gone

beyond the time we're in and have told us of things that is

yet to come. So again, if that's the case,

then you understand the five fold ministry, which is part of

the church. None of those gifts have left.

None of them. And let me just say it this way,

the gifts, how they function, then they'll function greater

later. Now why do I say that?

Because the early rain and the latter rain is different.

So it's not that as the church comes to reach maturity, the

fivefold ministry is not necessary.

They'll have an increase of the anointing as well, not less.

But the enemy wants to eliminate those gifts.

That way the Saints basically fend for themselves, and that's

a whole nother process. But again, what's happened?

Is it because the modern church has esteemed the pastor and the

evangelist, but the evangelist only to go and not to be here?

Because the first, the first mention of evangelist in the

context of the church where it's places in Ephesians 4 says the

evangelist is for the equipment of the church, not for the

winning of the lost. Now do they win the lost?

Yes, but they have a role inside because God never intended the

fivefold ministry to not actually have roots in a local

assembly. I mean, for you to say, well, I

can't do my ministry unless I travel, well, that's not true.

You can do the ministry you have in your community.

When you travel, you go on vacation or you go for some

place, another place on a job assignment.

I mean, you can be ministering all over the place.

You can go on a mission trip. I mean, what's what limits your

influence? That's right.

Yeah. You can still come here where

you live, be plugged in and do something amazing.

But yet we've kind of treated the fivefold as we just need the

pastor, the evangelist. We don't even see them.

In fact, if they're here, they're on the wrong assignment.

Yeah, the Ephesians 4 said they're supposed to be here.

And the reason why local churches are having a hard time

not being as effective in evangelism is because the gift

is going out, and we're telling them to stay away.

So they're going to big stadiums to get people born again, but

where are they going? Then you have the teachers who

want to teach, but the church has become one service focused

that wears the outlet. There's really no discipleship

now. So you go to 1 service on

Sunday, no midweek. I mean, we're talking the modern

US church, right? And small groups are not to

really study. And if it is a study, it's

really a it's, it's more of a preschool class for adults

because it's really the fellowship we're going after.

So the teacher gives light, well, if I'm going to actually

get out what's in me, then I have to just be invited to a

church to help supplement the pastor in teaching.

And then we've just totally ignore the prophet and the

apostle. Definitely the apostle, but the

prophet, we only want that one around till we want a word.

And it can only be a right word, the one we're looking for.

Amen. Because the true one can give

you a word and then you'll be like, I ain't receiving that.

Your faults when they're like, no, I'm real and you really need

to receive it. So, but what does evangelists

do? What are they supposed to?

They are to lead the way in evangelistic outreach.

They are to model compassion. They are to proclaim the good

news. They are to seek to convert

sinners, invite the community to Christ and the church, operate

spiritual gifts such as healing, mobilize local evangelists,

evangelists and organize public outreach, help plant churches

and equip Saints to evangelize. The evangelist is not just doing

big meetings. The evangelist will actually do

one-on-one stuff. Yeah, that's right.

And when they're home in their local body, doing what they're

called to do and not actually doing a planned outreach,

whether in the community or some other place, they are

functioning multi levels. And we'll see here in a minute

the concept of multiple doors to try to get people in the church,

not to heaven. The true evangelist is not

trying to get people to heaven. They're trying to get people to

church to church. And again, we're modeling

biblical things, not what we see as trends.

All right, so although everyone in the local church is not an

evangelist, every Christian should be evangelistic.

Why is that? Second Corinthians 517.

OK, Second Corinthians 517 Therefore, if anyone is in

Christ, he's a new creature. The old things passed away.

Behold, behold, new things have come.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to

himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of what's your

ministry, Christ of reconciliation.

So if you're not trying to reconcile, if you're not trying

to bring harmony, unity, brotherly love, then you are

negating the ministry of reconciliation.

The devil comes to divide, to separate, to split, but an

evangelistic St. will have a ministry of reconciliation.

We need to reconcile. This is why I'm extremely

cautious when I get around people who start to talk.

I'm like, well, are you wanting to reconcile or what?

Because if all you're doing is talking about what someone did

or what someone did, and we're not trying to get to a

reconciliation, then we don't even need to have a

conversation. Because you don't know what

spirit you're of. Because a new creature in Christ

wants to reconcile the body, wants to reconcile the world to

the church, wants to help grow the church, wants to help

develop the church, not destroy the church.

So Luke Chapter 9 verse one and two says this.

And he called the 12 together and gave them power and

authority over the demons and to heal diseases, and sent them out

to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to perform healings.

So David Guzik, A commentary, he said it this way.

He said Jesus sent them to preach the Kingdom of God.

To preach. To preach simply means to

proclaim, to tell others in the sense of announcing news to

them. The disciples went and the

disciples were sent with the work of proclaiming that the

Kingdom of God was present and what the character of the

Kingdom was like #1 their work of preaching might happen in an

open air meeting such as St. Corners or a marketplace.

It might happen in synagogue as they found opportunity to speak.

It might happen in a small groups or one-on-one

conversations. Whatever the setting, the

message was essentially here was this, here was the message.

The King has arrived, Jesus the Messiah is present #2 His

Kingdom is different from what you experienced, and His Kingdom

is different from what you expected.

And the third thing, he gathers a Kingdom community of those who

will repent and believe. The goal is repent, Change your

thinking. Again, we say, come as you are.

You can't change you, but God will and expects you to change.

He'll change you and then expect you to renew your mind into this

new spirit man you are. So come as you are that mean

Come as you are and stay as you are.

Come as you are means Die at the door or the cross.

Die at the cross, die at the cross.

You come to the cross and you die.

It's no longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me.

I have crucified myself. Christ didn't do it.

I did it because He already crucified himself for me.

I cannot come to Him like I am in my sins, separated, but I can

come to Him, acknowledge that that's what I am, and I don't

want that. And I'll take what He is giving

away. So when he says you want it, die

here. And I said I'm dead, you're

Lord. I died of myself.

I died of my will. I died of my ambitions.

I died of my idea of how to serve you.

I died of my idea of church. I died of my idea of religion.

I died all of it. And I come seek you and then

he'll come in me, He'll speak to me and he'll train me his ways

that I'll be like, I got to get rid of that.

I got to get rid of that. I got to change this.

I got to change that. I'm going to change all of these

things because I am going to serve you as a faithful disciple

and an evangelist is compelling by the Spirit people to accept

that lifestyle. Every message in the Bible can

be what we call we term religiously watered down, and we

use this term watered down because it's like we're saying

just enough to try to give you a little bit of hope about

something, but not so much that you get offended and leave.

Listen, if you can get offended and leave, then he's probably

not Lord, right? That's right, it's probably not

Lord anyway. Hallelujah.

Because what can the Lord say to me to change that?

It would offend me. I mean, it offends.

I get it. He said my word offends.

But if I say but your word is life, so I'll get rid of that.

I'll humble myself to your way of doing Amen.

In Luke chapter 10 verse one through 2, it says it this way.

Now after this, the Lord appointed 70 others and sent

them in pairs ahead of him to every city and place where he

himself was going to come. And he was saying to them the

harvest is plentiful, plentiful, but the laborers are are few.

Therefore precedes the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers

in the harvest. It seems to me, it appears I

can't. I'm not being emphatic about

this. I just said it seems that this

fivefold call to evangelism or to be an evangelist maybe a

little less on Saints than the other 4, meaning the amount of

people in the office. Now, I'm not saying that that is

is is absolute truth. I cannot confirm that.

I just know that Philip is the only one labeled as one.

We understand that there has to be others.

I get it. But it's just that the apostle,

when he steps out to launch, will do the work of the

evangelist. We also understand a pastor will

do the work of the evangelist. OK, So those two offices can at

times through grace functioned in those offices.

And then as Saints, we all have the ministry of reconciliation.

It could be that the Lord's like the majority of the evangelism

is going to happen among the Saints anyway.

But a true evangelist gift will get keep you hot, will keep you

hot. In essence they're like how in

the world can you not be concerned about your Co worker

who's going to hell that they do not have a life with God they

have they are not living up to their potential of why they were

born. That you'll no longer be

complacent just to see them every day without showing them

the Kingdom. Now, I'm not saying you're going

to talk to them every day. I'm not going to say that you're

going to say, you know, hey, do I need to pray with you?

Do you don't want to make Jesus Lord today?

I'm just asking again for the umpteenth time.

I'm not saying that because again, he's the Lord of the

harvest. He knows where the harvest is.

He knows when they're ready to be picked.

It's so important to hear the Spirit of God because sometimes

you can say something damage the potential of fruit.

Many people are struggling to get into the Kingdom because we

have Saints who have not been trained by the evangelists to be

able to tactfully communicate the Kingdom of God to them in a

way that causes them to be confronted with their sin.

Listen, you're never going to do radiation or chemotherapy unless

the doctor first says you have cancer.

I mean, who goes into the hospital and say, you know what,

I want to take a round of chemo, Karen, I'm going to come in next

week. I'm going to take a round of

chemo. You're like, pastor, why you

taking chemo? You know, no one's told me I had

cancer, but everybody's getting it.

So I just want to take a round. I mean, who does that?

Nobody does that but the minute you hear I'm talking about

somebody in the world for sure. Cuz as a believer your first

option should be by his stripes. I were healed.

Is there anything else you want me to do?

I'm already healed. If I need to do a process you

let me know cuz the process is then protected cuz I'm following

you at your word right? I'd never discount natural

medicine cuz if God speaks to you about something you stay

with his word. More people have gone to the

grave because they say they believe when they really are

struggling and a little bit of natural will help them get to a

full persuasion can help them. And sometimes the Lord just

wants you in front of a doctor like Megan believe in God yet

it's not moving. She gets in front of the doctor

and they said we're going to do surgery right now.

She could have said, well, where's God in all this when the

harvest could have been the doctor.

God may have just wanted to testify to that doctor through

Megan's body. Hallelujah.

You thought you were going to do surgery.

She was going to follow up with it.

But God, now, I mean, again, they've got the evidence there

they are. We're going to have to go in

here and clean all that up. You see that, Megan?

Here it is right here. There it is.

That's what we got to deal with. We got to 123-4533.

I don't know, I'm just baking up, right?

There's things here happening and we're going to bring you

back in. We're going to do it.

Then they say, OK, you're ready. We're going to do this.

We got it. We got our little sheet here.

We know where we're going. And then they're like, well,

there's nothing there. And that, that one, well, let me

look here. Where's, where is this stuff?

So when they can say to her, well, it looks like they just

dissolved on their own, she can say, no, I had hands laid on me

in the name of Jesus at church and Jesus healed my body.

Now there's a testimony. And, you know, some people will

go to a grave because they don't see that this is an opportunity

to evangelize. Hallelujah.

I'm never going to go to a doctor.

I mean, I don't want to go, but if the Lord says go, I'll go

because I know there's a testimony beyond me.

Amen. Even if it's the testimony you

actually put, go through the surgery.

Like we're praying this is going to be the best surgery ever.

It's going to be so easy for you.

Like Marissa's shoulder. This is going to be the best one

ever. Testified to it.

And then they come out, it was the best one.

I said that's what I this because God was it.

They they won't listen. They may not testify to you, but

people know when they've had an encounter with God.

No one will stand before Jesus one day and say, man, I didn't

even know you were around. That will not exist.

It says they are without excuse, right?

I mean, seriously, Keith, how many times were you testifying

of God to these individuals? Now they can say no, but his

presence was in the room. You have exceeded things for

them and you're giving credit to Jesus.

They may say, well, I don't believe that, but they'll stand

before holy God and you have testified on his account.

That's evangelism because it could be somebody says man, that

had to be God. Now, we may not see the harvest

of Megan's surgeon, but one day that surgeon could be somewhere

else and saying I'm born again today because I'll never forget

this patient. Hallelujah.

I said Hallelujah. Now, whether there's an equal

amount of evangelist to the rest really doesn't matter.

I'm just saying that we all have a strong participation in this.

Now I'm going to say this. Saints can prophecy by the

gifts, but it doesn't make them a prophet.

Saints can study and become well knowledgeable of the Word, but

that does not make them a fivefold minister, teacher, or a

pastor. In fact, there doesn't seem to

be any other gift that the Saints can be more closely

related to or even insinuate that they can do as the other

gifts. Not the apostle, prophet, pastor

or teacher, but the evangelist. You have a ministry relatively

close to that anointing. But what does Saints do?

They think they can pastor. They think they can be the

prophet. They think they can be the the

in depth teacher or they think they can be which one did I miss

out already? The apostle.

Now you might run a real close line to the evangelist.

And really what's going to be the separation?

These evangelist when they minister, people will get born

again in such a way that you'll be in awe of how easy that is.

Hallelujah. And then the flow of the

supernatural be on a larger scale than what you would do on

an individual scale. So when it comes to this, he

said that the harvest is great, but the laborers refuse.

So again, he's like the evangelist gift is to keep you

passionate because when you get into the Kingdom of God and you

begin to experience his blessings, His provision, all

these awesome things, right, then you can forget about the

world. In fact, the world will make you

feel like well, I don't even want to be around that you

you're so disconnected from the contaminants, the darkness and

the way people respond and and you listen, you become you

desire with the right motive to walk holy, blameless and

righteous that when you hear ungodliness, you're like,

because you understand sin to God is God around sinners is not

going. Oh, you guys are so awesome.

No, his heart is I need to deliver you and I want to come

out. That's his heart.

That's his love toward not all I accept you.

That's not what he's doing. He's like, I mean, I, I can't

even be around this, but if you'll call on the name of

Jesus, I don't want you there anymore.

I'm so compassionate for you. I want to see you change.

That's why I sent so and so and sent so and so.

That's why I'm speaking to you. That's why this is happening.

Because man, I do not want you in this gross darkness anymore.

Because if you continue your course, wrath is being stored

up. And I don't want to release the

wrath on you. I want you to repent coming to

the family because man, I just can't stand the side of

fornication. I cannot stand the sight.

And as believers, we're like, but you understand the

adventures be like, but I have to have compassion for that

person. We got to recognize the road

they're on is bad. We've got to be a light shine

and said, hey, turn around, Something can be different.

That's why we have to have that evangelist gift in the local

body to keep us passionate about those that are outside the

church so that when we see them, we're not repulsed at their sin

and then won't talk to them. But we can say this isn't what

God designed. Now how do you want me to talk

and shine a light on this situation?

Why is that? Because the local church, you

got to see it as a great building with some doors, and

each door represents an appealing way to draw some some

types of people into the church. Realize the more entrances you

make into the building, the more people can come in.

Multiply the doors opening into the church.

This is why we as an apostle, I'm always given a call to

action Why? Because everyone of you has this

ministry, the ministry of reconciliation.

And as an apostle, I'm deploying that grace on your life.

And we're looking for doors when God sent us Don and his wife

here. OK, Michelle, things they did in

the community in Arkansas, they communicated to us and we're

like, where are some of the out? We were doing one particular

thing. We're like that gifting to

deploy the ministry of reconciliation through them best

serves and dining with dignity. And we transitioned them into

take that particular area ministry And now we have 3 four

teams that associate. I mean, we have why do we feed

people one time a month? It's a door, It's a door.

Why do we do West Augustine? It's a door.

When? When the county calls on, it's a

door. Family counts, it's a door.

Post Abortion recovery, it's a door.

Anchor Faith Live classes, it's a door.

Conferences, it's a door. Mom Squad, it's a door.

In a mirror. Varsity league, it's a door.

Softball, it's a door. Well, they're just asking us to

do something. No, I'm trying to release your

ministry because I care about the community and I can't be

everywhere. I can't go to every store, every

coffee shop, can't go to every restaurant.

I can't stand in the corner of Saint George Street and say

Jesus Christ is coming, man. But you can.

You got coworkers every day that you know, man, if God came back

today and they drop dead, they'd be in hell for eternity.

They'd be they're they're going to be cast into the lake of

fire. Doesn't that inspire something

in us to say, God, how can I get to this person now?

No, some you're not. The Bible says that the gates of

hell widen, but you're still supposed to be the witness.

That's why I gave you power. Anyway, the reason why the the

power of the Holy Spirit was poured out in Acts was not so

that you would feel good is so that you would have power when

you witnessed through your ministry of reconciliation and

you could demonstrate the Kingdom of God.

Steven, how many more customers are you going to?

Is God going to give you the opportunity to come by and to

speak to? I mean, some of your clientele

may be the very ones that the wealth of the wicked is laid up

for the righteous. And I mean, it's because they

get born again and what was used to be unrighteous, ma'am and in

their hands becomes righteous ma'am and in their hands only

because your integrity and and and and and doing the right work

and, and your presentation and how you're doing with the

Kingdom of God. These are doors, the doors to

the church is already the place you work unless you're not

representing right at work. That's why Mark 1615 and 16, we

close with this verse told you at least 30 minutes.

And he said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel

to all creation. He who has believed in me and

has been baptized will be saved from the penalty of God's wrath

and judgment, but he who has not believed will be condemned.

So we are to go into all the world to preach the gospel.

What is the gospel or the good news?

Because gospel means good news. What is the good news?

The Kingdom of God in the name of Jesus.

And we are to preach this through the ministry of

reconciliation. But the gift of the evangelist

will keep you hot. And then we'll have the

anointing to organize so that we can do more.

Pastor Jack Meyer, because he does pastor church and plant

city. However, he isn't an evangelist.

So Jack Meyer, the evangelist goes into other nations where

Roddy Shaffer, the evangelist goes into other communities

attached to other local churches that after they do an outreach

and people get born again, they are there to help assimilate

them into the church. Can't make them come, but the

church is there to represent. We will receive you.

We want you to come. We want you to be there.

And someone that truly gets born again, they're going to be at

that church period. Not going to say they'll stay

there for the rest of their lives, but I am saying they'll

go to that church. OK.

And and, and Roddy the Evangelist is not doing an

outreach unless a church is represented in the community.

Jack Myers the Evangelist does the same thing in the other

countries. So we're Roddy the Evangelist is

doing it with crowds of, you know, hundreds, even to 1000,

maybe 2000. Jack Myers the Evangelist is

doing 30 to 40,000. But when he does them, he has

church pastors there. That way when people are born

again and being healed, because when the evangelist is

functioning, that's happening. They're bringing people up on

the platform and their crutches are being thrown.

Are you hearing me? But he's doing this because he

has someone on the ground that knows the pastors that

coordinate next year, 2026. So get your passports because

January the 11th, 2026 is the first public service of Anchor

Faith Church Dominican Republic. This is first public service

October that same year. I am partnering with Jack Myers,

the evangelist, and we're going to go do a evangelistic crusade

for Anchor Faith Church, Dominican Republic.

And we're going to need some help to distribute things to go

into the communities, to knock on doors to gather them.

They expect this to be anywhere from 2 to 5000 people so that

those that are born again, we can say welcome to Anchor Faith

Church. Are you hearing me?

go on that trip so that we can evangelize into that country so

that as Pastor Rick and Carla launch Anchor Faith Church,

preach the Kingdom of God into that nation, all glory to God.

It's going to be so exciting. We're going to go into all the

world with them and help that process.

Know there are people that are going into the lake of fire and

you need to make sure you're a light.

Don't let them go quietly. Be the witness.

Two things need to occur that when they stand before the Lord

at the great White Throne judgment, if they have not

confessed Jesus as Lord, that when the Lord opens the books of

their sin, He'll say, I want to talk to you about this time of

rejection and rebellion of my word.

When did that happen? Well, and he'll have the

details. Well, I had TJ during that

hurricane, when the lines were down, He came by your house and

he showed you the Kingdom. You see what I'm saying?

And you rejected it. You thought your life was

miserable. And he shared with you about my

son Jesus, because I let him there.

He was there to do more than just hook up regular power.

He was there to hook up Holy Ghost power.

Don't let him go quietly. But on the flip side, when

they're standing before the judgment seat of Christ and they

open up the book and they see their names written in the

Lamb's book alive, and they say, ah, I see you're on the Lamb's

Book of Life. Tell me your testimony.

Let me tell you what happened. It was a hurricane, and there

was a guy by the name of TJ who came by my house, and I just

thought he was hooking up power, But he gave me a power I didn't

know nothing of. He led me to you, and I followed

you the rest of my days. And the Lord's going to turn

over to TJ and say, here's your crown, crown of life.

Think about that. Let us stir up that passion for

the lost. Because if we had it, honestly,

building's irrelevant. We're not.

It doesn't even matter about seats anymore.

We just pack it in wherever. Because people who love God

don't care about seats. They care about his presence and

fellowship with the other believers and taking over

communities.
