  1. Matthew 18 verses 19 and 20 says again, I say to you that if 2 of

    Matthew 18:19

  2. you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will

  3. be done for them by my Father in heaven.

  4. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I

  5. am in the midst of them. And that's us tonight.

  6. We are gathered in His name. And it's up to you what supply

  7. of faith you bring. Every time you come in here,

  8. every time you come up in here. It is not a religious exercise

  9. for us. We come in here and we bring our

  10. supply of faith. So did you bring it tonight?

  11. Amen. The presence of the Lord where

  12. the Spirit of the Lord is. The Bible says there's liberty.

  13. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's freedom.

  14. Do we believe that is God's presence in you?

  15. In you? You are the temple of the Holy

  16. Ghost. He's in you.

  17. We're going to look at Moses in an Old Testament example of

  18. this, but it's no comparison to us in the new covenant today.

  19. First Corinthians 619 says, do you not know that your body is

  20. the temple of the Holy Spirit? Who's in you, whom you have from

  21. God, and you are not your own. Do you not know?

  22. First John 4/4 says You are of God, little children, and have

  23. overcome them, because he who is in you is greater than he who is

  24. in the world. We sang about our victory.

  25. Do we believe that we have the victory?

  26. Do we believe that we're more than conquerors in Christ Jesus?

  27. If we believe that, then we're saying that we're speaking that

  28. out loud, Isaiah 2913 says. Therefore the Lord said, in as

  29. much as these people draw near me with their mouth, and they

  30. honor me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far

  31. from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the commandment

  32. of men, I put that in here. Matthew 15-8 is another parallel

  33. scripture for that these people draw near me with their mouth

  34. and they honor me with their lips, but their heart is far

  35. from me. I, I put that in here because

  36. sometimes we all have a, a tendency to get in habits and

  37. get in religious exercises and religious ruts.

  38. And you got to make sure that everything you do is in faith.

  39. Everything that you do, you're applying faith to whether you

  40. felt like coming to church, whether you felt like coming to

  41. morning prayer, whether you felt like reading your Bible this

  42. morning. Are you applying faith to

  43. everything that you're doing? Because that's how you're going

  44. to get the word of God and the power of God out of what you're

  45. doing. Now I want to go to Exodus 33

  46. and we're going to look at Moses and we're going to see the

  47. example of Moses and how he longed for the presence of God.

  48. And then it and then it's got to cause us to, to take a step back

  49. and examine our own heart and our own life and ask, are we

  50. seeking and are we longing for the presence of God?

  51. I'm going to read some of this to you and just act like you're

  52. in grade school and I'm your teacher and just just soak it up

  53. and listen to it. Then the Lord said to Moses,

  54. depart and go up from here. You and the people whom you have

  55. brought out of the land of Egypt, to the land which I swore

  56. to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying to your descendants, I

  57. will give it, and I will send my Angel before you, and I will

  58. drive out the Canaanites, and all those people go up to a land

  59. flowing with milk and honey. For I will not listen to what

  60. the Lord says. I will not go up in your midst,

  61. lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff necked

  62. people. In other words, he's saying, I'm

  63. going to send an Angel with you, but I'm not going to go with you

  64. because you're stiff necked and and the, the golden calf thing

  65. happened the chapter before and you're stiff necked and I you're

  66. in rebellion and, and my presence will consume you.

  67. And so verse 4 says, And when the people heard this bad news,

  68. they mourned, and no one put on his ornaments.

  69. For the Lord had said to Moses, say to the children of Israel,

  70. You are a stiff necked people, I could come up in your midst in

  71. one moment and consume you. Now therefore take off your

  72. ornaments, that I may know what to do to you.

  73. So the children of Israel stripped themselves of their

  74. ornaments by Mount Horeb, and Moses took his tent and pitched

  75. it outside the camp, far from the camp, and he called it the

  76. Tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that

  77. everyone who sought the Lord went out to the Tabernacle of

  78. meeting, which was outside the camp.

  79. So it was that whenever Moses went out to the Tabernacle, that

  80. all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and

  81. watched Moses until he had gone into the Tabernacle.

  82. And it came to pass, when Moses entered the Tabernacle, that the

  83. pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the

  84. Tabernacle. And the Lord talked with Moses.

  85. All the people saw the pillar of clouds standing at the

  86. Tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshipped each

  87. man in his tent door. So the Lord spoke to Moses face

  88. to face as a man speaks to his friend.

  89. Verse 12. Then Moses said to the Lord,

  90. See, you say to me, bring up this people, but you have not

  91. let me know whom you will send with me.

  92. I love this because Moses essentially is saying, these are

  93. your people. And I realize they're stiff

  94. necked, but you're not telling me who's going with me.

  95. You're telling me an angel's going with me, but you're not

  96. telling me anything more than that.

  97. But you have not let me know whom you will send with me.

  98. Yet you have said, I know you by name, and you have also found

  99. grace in my sight. Now therefore I pray, if I found

  100. grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you,

  101. and that I may find grace in your sight.

  102. And consider that this nation is your people.

  103. And he said, the Lord said, my presence will go with you and I

  104. will give you rest. And I love this, this account of

  105. Moses because he the the Lord was going to send an Angel.

  106. And Moses said, these are your people.

  107. You said you've graced me. Who you sending with me?

  108. I want your presence. And in verse 15, Moses says,

  109. then he said to him, Moses said this to the Lord, if your

  110. presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.

  111. If you're not going to go with me, I don't want to go.

  112. We, we ought to have that posture in our everyday lives.

  113. If you're not going to go with me, I don't want to go.

  114. If there's not going to be an anointing, Lord, when I get up

  115. here, I don't want to do it. If there's not going to be an

  116. anointing when I go out to my workplace, I don't want to go.

  117. Are we even asking? Are we even seeking?

  118. I'm telling you, there is a major distraction in the earth.

  119. And you know what it is? We don't take one minute.

  120. We don't take 3 minutes. We don't take 5 minutes to spend

  121. time in the presence of God. The Ding happens.

  122. There's always something going on that's distracting you,

  123. that's stealing your attention. The Bible says be still and know

  124. that I'm God. Are we doing that?

  125. There is a presence of the Lord that he wants to, to show you,

  126. to reveal a glory of God, the goodness of God that he wants

  127. to, to show you in your personal life, not just the glory in the

  128. temple when we come here, but the glory in the temple.

  129. But are we even asking, are we even taking time to get in his

  130. presence and seek him? And, and Moses said, if your

  131. presence doesn't go, I don't want to go.

  132. For how then will it be known that your people and I have

  133. found grace in your side, except you go with us.

  134. Oh, that ought to be our cry. That's a distinguishing factor.

  135. How are the people going to know that that you're for me and that

  136. I'm with you and that you're in me?

  137. If you don't go with me? How are the people going to

  138. know? People ought to be able to look

  139. at you and go, there's something different about you.

  140. There's something different about your face.

  141. Some of some of us need to check our face because sometimes our

  142. faces don't even look happy. How are you when you're walking

  143. through Walmart, when you're going to public?

  144. Now, I know Walmart's not the greatest, but how are you when

  145. you're walking through there? You ought to have a song on your

  146. lips, a praise in your mouth. I'm not talking about going up

  147. in Walmart and singing psalms in hymns and spiritual songs to

  148. people. I'm not talking about doing

  149. that, but I'm talking about it's in you.

  150. You carry the glory of God because you've been with him,

  151. You spent time with him. So Moses is saying, if I found

  152. grace in your sight, how are the people going to know unless you

  153. go with me? So we shall be separate, your

  154. people and I from all the people who are on the face of the

  155. earth, if your presence is with us.

  156. So the Lord said to Moses, I will also do this thing that you

  157. have spoken for. You have found grace in my

  158. sight, and I know you by name. And Moses said, please show me

  159. your glory. Please show me your glory.

  160. I wonder how many of us have said that today or this week or

  161. in a month or a year. God, show me your glory.

  162. God, I want to be in your presence.

  163. I'm just challenging you because in this fast-paced society that

  164. we live in, it's super easy not to.

  165. It's so easy to go, go, go, go, go.

  166. You know, I can be in the presence of my husband and not

  167. be in his presence. You have God in you, you have

  168. the Holy Ghost in you, but it doesn't mean you're abiding in

  169. His presence. I can be in the same room as Him

  170. and not be communing with Him or talking in any kind of way or

  171. being intimate with Him. It's no different.

  172. Even though you've got God in you, you've got the greater one

  173. on the inside. Do we live as though we have the

  174. greater one on the inside? So the Lord said to Moses, I'll

  175. do it. And he said, please show me your

  176. glory in verse 19. Then he said, I'm already

  177. spitting clouds of glory up here.

  178. Then he said not really, not really, I am spitting, but not

  179. that. Then he said, I will make all my

  180. goodness. I will make all my goodness pass

  181. before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you.

  182. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will

  183. have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

  184. But he said, You cannot see my face, for no man shall see me

  185. and live. And the Lord said, Here is a

  186. place by me, and you shall stand on the rock.

  187. And so it shall be while my glory passes by, that I will put

  188. you in the cleft of the rock, and cover you with my hand while

  189. I pass by. Can you imagine that?

  190. Then I will take away my hand, and you'll see my back parts,

  191. but my face shall not be seen. Exodus 34 I'm not going to read

  192. all of it, just the first few verses and verse.

  193. One says, And the Lord said to Moses, Cut 2 tablets of stone

  194. like the first ones. And I will write on these

  195. tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you

  196. broke. So be ready in the morning and

  197. come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to

  198. me there on the top of the mountain.

  199. And no man shall come up with you.

  200. And let no man be seen throughout all the mountain.

  201. Let neither flocks nor herds feed before that mountain.

  202. So he cut the 2 tablets of stone like the first ones.

  203. And then Moses rose early in the morning and went up to Mount

  204. Sinai as the Lord had commanded him, and he took his hand.

  205. It took in his hand the 2 tablets of stone.

  206. Now verse 5 says, Now the Lord descended in a cloud and stood

  207. with him and proclaimed the name of the Lord.

  208. Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed the Lord,

  209. the Lord God. Now he's, in other words, he's

  210. saying this is who I am, the Lord, the Lord God,

  211. compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding and

  212. loving kindness and truth and faithfulness, keeping mercy and

  213. loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and

  214. transgression and sin. So the Lord stood with him and

  215. says this is who I am in the Lord's presence and in his glory

  216. is his goodness. It's his fullness, it's his

  217. loving kindness, it's his faithfulness, it's his mercy in

  218. his presence is everything that the I am is everything that you

  219. need is in his presence. And if you jump down to verse

  220. 29, it says when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the 2

  221. tablets of the testimony in his hand, he did not know that the

  222. skin of his face was shining with a unique radiance because

  223. he had been speaking with God. There was a glory on him that

  224. the people couldn't even look at and he had to put a veil over

  225. his face. And Moses spoke to the Lord face

  226. to face like he was his friend, talked with him, communed with

  227. him. Sometimes we have this picture

  228. of God that he, he is, he is in the heavens.

  229. But the Scripture says that you're seated there in heavenly

  230. places with him. And the Bible tells us to

  231. commune with the Holy Ghost and to go boldly before the throne

  232. of God anytime and all the time. Do you feel worthy to do that?

  233. You know most of the church doesn't.

  234. I'm just going to be honest with you.

  235. Most of the church does not operate in the being righteous

  236. like God called us to be. You know, there's a difference

  237. between being righteous and doing righteousness.

  238. Being righteous is a gift and man, if you understood that

  239. subject, if you understood that not only did God wipe away your

  240. sins as far as the east is from the West, not only did he do

  241. that, the scripture says he literally imputed his

  242. righteousness to you. It's not innocence that gets you

  243. into the Kingdom of God, it's righteousness.

  244. The Bible says that the the scepter of righteousness is the

  245. scepter of the Kingdom. Think about Esther.

  246. He, she couldn't go before the king unless he extended the

  247. scepter to her. Righteousness is your scepter.

  248. It is your I can, I can come boldly, not because of what I

  249. did, not because what I didn't do.

  250. It's a gift. And the Bible says if you

  251. understand the gift of righteousness, you will reign in

  252. life. You'll reign in life as a king.

  253. You need to understand it, and that's part of this subject of

  254. the Lord's presence and coming into His presence.

  255. If you don't feel worthy, then you're not going to do it.

  256. If you're living in guilt and condemnation, then you're not

  257. going to come boldly before the throne of God.

  258. Not one of us should be living in guilt and condemnation.

  259. The Scripture says there is right now, therefore no guilt,

  260. no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

  261. And then it goes on to say who do not live according to the

  262. flesh, but according to the Spirit.

  263. But the Scripture says that you are in the Spirit and that you

  264. do know the Spirit and that you hear his voice and another you

  265. won't follow. I'm just trying to encourage

  266. you. You have the victory, you have

  267. the righteousness of God, you have the boldness, you have the

  268. access. Do it.

  269. Quit letting your past failures and your your.

  270. The Bible says for your shame, He'll give you double.

  271. The Bible says that He's redeemed you from the shame of

  272. your youth. There's not anything that should

  273. keep you out of the presence of God.

  274. Not anything, not one thing. And then if you didn't know

  275. that, then tonight I expect you, whether you do it at the altar

  276. or you do it when you walk out of here, for you to say I am

  277. leaving those things that are behind.

  278. I'm leaving them behind and I'm pressing on towards the mark of

  279. the high calling which is in Christ Jesus.

  280. Are you going to do it? Are we going to stay?

  281. Are we going to stay in this complacent guilt, shame,

  282. condemnation, inferiority complex?

  283. No. We should be righteous

  284. conscious, not sin conscious. If the devil can keep you out of

  285. the Kingdom of God, if he can, if he can, if the devil can't

  286. keep you out of the Kingdom of God, then he'll keep you in sin

  287. consciousness. That's what I was trying to say.

  288. Just because you're born again doesn't mean you're living in

  289. righteousness consciousness. The battle is right here and it

  290. is not a hard battle. Let me just say that God's

  291. giving you everything you need for life and for godliness right

  292. here on the earth. And so you're brand new, your

  293. spirit is brand new. God lives on the inside of you,

  294. but all the time you need to be transforming this right here,

  295. right here. Sometimes we get born again and

  296. we're excited and you should be, and God's on the inside of you.

  297. And then we try to change our behavior.

  298. God didn't ask you to change your behavior.

  299. He asked you to transform your mind.

  300. And then your behavior will change.

  301. Get it right. Get it in the right order, OK?

  302. It's not about what you can do to look good before God.

  303. He already knows how you were, and He knows what He did to make

  304. you white as snow and clothe you with a robe of righteousness.

  305. Hallelujah. I'm going somewhere with this

  306. Moses scripture, OK? The Lord is compassionate,

  307. gracious, slow to anger, abounding, loving kindness.

  308. And the glory of the Lord was on Moses's face, and they had to

  309. put a veil there. This is the old covenant, this

  310. is the Old Testament. We have a new and better living

  311. covenant New Testament that we're living in.

  312. So because of that, let's go to 2nd Corinthians chapter 3 in

  313. light of what we just read about Moses, Second Corinthians

    2 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  314. chapter 3 starting in verse 7. But if the ministry of death,

  315. we're talking about the tablets of stone that we just read

  316. about, we're talking about the the commandments that God gave

  317. Moses. If the ministry of death written

  318. and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children

  319. of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses

  320. because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was

  321. passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be

  322. more glorious? I need to ask that question

  323. again. How will the ministry of the

  324. Spirit not be more glorious than the glory that Moses had on his

  325. face? How is the ministry of the

  326. Spirit not more glorious that we shouldn't be walking around full

  327. of the glory of God, full of the joy of the Lord, full of the

  328. peace that surpasses all understanding that's in his

  329. presence. So it says, how much more will

  330. this ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious For the

  331. ministry of, if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the one

  332. we just read about, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much

  333. more in glory, much more in glory.

  334. The ministry of righteousness is the ministry of the Holy Ghost.

  335. It is that For even what was made glorious had no glory in

  336. this respect, because of the glory that excels.

  337. For if what was passing away was glorious, what remains is much

  338. more glorious. Therefore, everybody say,

  339. Therefore, Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great

  340. boldness of speech, unlike Moses, who put a veil over his

  341. face, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily

  342. at the end of what was passing away, but their minds were

  343. blinded. For until this day the same veil

  344. remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because

  345. the veil is taken away in Christ.

  346. But even to this day, when Moses is red, a veil lies on their

  347. heart. Nevertheless, when one turns to

  348. the Lord, the veil is taken away.

  349. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,

  350. there is liberty. But we all with unveiled face,

  351. beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being

  352. transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by

  353. the Spirit of the Lord. I've said this countless times

  354. because I love the Scripture that says you behold what manner

  355. of man that you are, and you walk away and you forget.

  356. You behold in a mirror the glory of the of the Lord, the image of

  357. Christ in you, and we walk away and we forget what manner of man

  358. that we are. We're not ever supposed to

  359. forget. We're always supposed to be

  360. reminding that God what he sees because when he looks at you, he

  361. sees Christ in you. He doesn't see your your old

  362. self and your old failures. He sees that righteousness that

  363. he imputed to you. He sees Christ in you.

  364. And so that's the confession of faith that you make in whatever

  365. area that you're dealing with. There's there's an intimacy

  366. that's lacking in the church with the Holy Ghost.

  367. Moses talked to him face to face.

  368. Are we talking to him on a daily basis, face to face, spending

  369. time with him? John chapter 14 says, and I will

    John 14 chapter mention

  370. ask the Father, and he'll give you another helper, comforter,

  371. advocate, intercessor, counselor, strengthener, and

  372. standby. I need to say that again, and

  373. I'll ask the Father and he'll give you another helper.

  374. This is the Holy Ghost within you.

  375. He's your comforter. He is your advocate, he is your

  376. intercessor, he is your counselor, your strengthener and

  377. your standby. There's a guy that we haven't

  378. talked to for years that I just thought of this because I was

  379. feeling kind of coachy, like I want to come down there and grab

  380. some of you. I there's a guy that we haven't

  381. talked to for years that called my husband before church.

  382. We haven't talked to Joe for so long and I heard his voice all

  383. the way. He's from New Jersey.

  384. I heard his voice all the way through the through the phone

  385. and apparently he's watched some of our, the Youtubes And he, he

  386. told my husband, he said, I, I listened to you and he said and,

  387. and your wife, what happened? She's like, she used to be like

  388. quiet or and and I when we were at Rayma and I was indeed I was,

  389. I was learning how and some people ought to do this when

  390. they get born again. I was learning how my

  391. personality was going to be in Christ because I know how my

  392. personality was and I know the coarse jesting and silliness and

  393. fun and carnality and, you know, all the things that I did.

  394. And so when I got born again, I was like, I don't know, I don't

  395. know who I am. I don't know what to do.

  396. Can I even speak? Like I'm not even sure what's

  397. happening. I was so grateful and so

  398. thankful because the Lord delivered me.

  399. I was so I was so grateful and I just was so humbled.

  400. And just like Lord I, there is a definite reverential fear of you

  401. and, and all, and I trust you and I'm just going to yield all

  402. of it to you. And now it's all here.

  403. So yeah, yeah, yeah. So so he, I guess he had watched

  404. of our videos and was like, what happened to her?

  405. So anyway, John, chapter 14 that I felt kind of coachy right

    John 14 chapter mention

  406. there, like I'm like, are you with me?

  407. Are you are you hearing what I'm saying?

  408. Because I want to, you know, if they're not getting it on the

  409. basketball court, I might go spank them or grab them or I'm

  410. not abusing them. It's all love.

  411. But sometimes I want to do that up in here, up in here.

  412. OK, now, John 14, I don't even know what song that is.

  413. I hope. I don't even know.

  414. It's maybe not good. I'm sorry, I'm trying to get the

  415. presence of the Lord here, OK? The Holy Ghost.

  416. The Holy Ghost is in you. He's in you, and he'll be with

  417. you forever. The Spirit of truth, whom the

  418. world cannot receive and take to its heart because it does not

  419. see Him or know Him. But you know Him because He, the

  420. Holy Spirit, remains with you continually and will be in you.

  421. You know Him. He can be in you and with you,

  422. and you're not acknowledging Him.

  423. You know, the Holy Ghost can be grieved, He can be quenched, He

  424. can be lied to, He can be resisted.

  425. The Scripture is clear about that.

  426. And unfortunately, I think sometimes in the church we're

  427. doing that and and we're seeing more and more of the more you

  428. resist, the more you quench, the more you don't yield to the Holy

  429. Ghost, the easier it is for your conscience to become seared.

  430. The Bible talks about that. And then it's harder for you to

  431. hear and easier for you to yield to doctrines of demons and

  432. seducing spirits. And so I encourage you, if the

  433. Holy Ghost is talking to you about anything, you know, when

  434. when I first got born again, you know, he would talk to me about

  435. little things at the time that now I'm like, I wish those were

  436. the things that he was telling me to like give somebody a pair

  437. of shoes or take a break from peanut butter, you know,

  438. something like that. But but when you grow, there's

  439. other things that he's going to talk to you about, you know, to

  440. sacrifice to, to lay down, putting your flesh down.

  441. And are we yielding to that or do we make justification for

  442. what we thought? It's OK if I eat peanut butter.

  443. I mean, God's not against peanut butter, but did he tell me to

  444. stop for a season? Right now is not the season.

  445. I had peanut butter today. But.

  446. But he has told me crunchy, too, by the way.

  447. Yeah, I can eat either. But crunchy?

  448. There's something about crunchy peanut butter.

  449. Are you careful? Careful.

  450. Are you drawing near? James, 47, says.

  451. Therefore submit to God. Quit texting me.

  452. Resist the devil. Resist the devil.

  453. OK, Focus, focus. OK.

  454. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will

  455. flee from you. Draw near to God and he will

  456. draw near to you. Draw near to God and he will

  457. draw near to you. Do you long for his presence,

  458. His glory? Our access is greater if Moses

  459. could talk to him face to face in the glory cloud could come

  460. down and and envelope that space there.

  461. So they all stood there on the edge of their tents and watched

  462. the glory cloud. How much more in this new and

  463. better covenant that we're in? Should we be living in the

  464. glory? The glory of God is the full

  465. fullness of his presence. The glory of God is the fullness

  466. of his loving kindness, the fullness of his goodness.

  467. That's the glory of God. Are we living in the glory of

  468. God, God, God. Hebrews chapter 10 verses 19

    Hebrews 10:19–23

  469. through 23 says therefore, brethren, therefore, brethren,

  470. having boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

  471. thank you Lord, thank you Lord for the blood.

  472. Thank you, Father. Having boldness to enter the

  473. holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way in which

  474. he consecrated for us through the veil that is his flesh, and

  475. having a high priest over the House of God.

  476. Let us listen to verse 22. Let us draw near with a true

  477. heart, with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our

  478. hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.

  479. That's what I was just talking about a few minutes ago.

  480. You either live in an evil conscious, a sin consciousness,

  481. or righteousness consciousness. So it says, having our hearts

  482. sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed

  483. with pure water, let us hold fast the confession of our hope

  484. without wavering. For he who promised is faithful.

  485. Is he faithful? Will he do it?

  486. Did he do it? Yes, Hebrews chapter 4 verse 16

    Hebrews 4:16

  487. says let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace

  488. that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our

  489. time of need, empowering grace to overcome anything in our life

  490. that that comes to us. We can boldly come to the throne

  491. of God about it. Ephesians 3 verses 11 and 12

    Ephesians 3:11

  492. says according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in

  493. Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom listen to verse 12 in whom we

  494. have boldness and access, boldness and access with

  495. confidence through faith in Him boldness and access, you have

  496. access. Let's look at David in Psalm 51

    Psalms 51:10–12

  497. verses 10 through 12. This is right after David had

  498. failed with Bathsheba and and David is crying out for the

  499. presence of God, longing saying please don't leave me, please

  500. don't take your Holy Spirit from me.

  501. In verse 10 it says created me a clean heart O God, and renew a

  502. steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your

  503. presence and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.

  504. And David didn't even have the Holy Ghost within him like we

  505. do. The Holy Ghost would come upon

  506. him, the prophet, priest, and king.

  507. And he's saying, please don't take your presents from me.

  508. Please don't take your spirit from me.

  509. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me by Your

  510. generous spirit. Psalm 139.

  511. I'm going to fly through the rest of these.

  512. Oh Lord, You have searched me and known me.

  513. You know my sitting down and my rising up.

  514. You understand my thoughts are far off, You comprehend my path

  515. and my lying down, and you're acquainted with all my ways, for

  516. there is not a word on my tongue.

  517. But behold, O Lord, you know it all together.

  518. You have hedged me in behind and before, and laid your hand upon

  519. me. Such knowledge is too wonderful

  520. for me. It is high.

  521. I cannot attain it. Verse 7.

  522. Where can I go from your spirit, and where can I flee from your

  523. presence? If I ascend to heaven, you're

  524. there. And if I make my bed in hell,

  525. behold, you are there. Where can you go from him?

  526. You can run all day long, but there he is.

  527. You're going to have to choose. I want you.

  528. I want your presence. I'm going to quit running from

  529. you talking to me. I'm going to quit running

  530. because I don't feel good enough.

  531. I'm going to quit running because I'm insecure or have

  532. guilt or condemnation. I'm going to quit running from

  533. your presence because everywhere I go, there you are.

  534. I can't get away from you. Everywhere I'm at, there you

  535. are. If I'm in hell, there you are.

  536. If I'm on the mountaintop, there you are.

  537. But are you engaging with him? Zephaniah 317 says The Lord your

  538. God in your midst, the mighty one will save, He will rejoice

  539. over you with gladness, and he will quiet you with his love,

  540. and he will rejoice over you with singing.

  541. It says the Lord your God in your midst.

  542. When his presence is there, you'll know that he's rejoicing

  543. over you with gladness. You'll know that he will quiet

  544. you with his love. You'll know his love and that he

  545. sings over you. You know, I love that that

  546. recently really ministered to me that that God sings.

  547. I never really thought about that.

  548. I never really, even though I've read that scripture and other

  549. scriptures, I never really thought about the fact that God

  550. sings and, and, and literally brought me to tears.

  551. You know, one day reading this Scripture and, and I tried to

  552. convey it in one of my Kingdom institute classes.

  553. But but God sings over you think about think about your, your,

  554. your kids when they were little. I don't know if you all sang

  555. over them. We sang Pastor Mike even saying,

  556. saying to the girls, and he's not a singer.

  557. What was that song he used to sing?

  558. Love is love is easily satisfied.

  559. He made it up. And so he would sing that and I

  560. would sing the Veggietales song. A thankful heart is a happy

  561. heart. Be glad for what you have.

  562. That's an easy way to start. I would sing that to them all

  563. the time. And, and, and just sing songs.

  564. If you know my girls or you've been in my home or you've been

  565. in my car. I'm that meme that says nobody

  566. ride with me because I want to sing.

  567. I want to, I want to like belt it out.

  568. Like I don't just, I don't know what people are thinking next to

  569. me because I sing and I like it and I just, I just sing to the

  570. top of my lungs anytime I can. I'll sing.

  571. And it's not because I want to perform.

  572. It's because there's a song in me and it's because God sings

  573. over me and he loves me. And, and if when your kids know

  574. that you love them, what do they do?

  575. They just, they're happy. They just frolic around and run

  576. through the house and dance and sing and, and, and that you

  577. create an atmosphere of joy, an atmosphere of peace, an

  578. atmosphere of the presence of God.

  579. Even when you're watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, you can, you

  580. can turn it into something. That's what I always used to do

  581. when, when my girls were little. We always, and the Bible says,

  582. write the word of God on your doorpost, put it on your

  583. forehead, put it everywhere. Everything that you do, you're

  584. the one that's training them up in the way that they should go.

  585. You're the one that's that's creating the presence of God in

  586. your home. OK, let's talk about one way to

  587. draw near and we're going to do it.

  588. Praise and Thanksgiving is one way to draw near a focused

  589. heart. Also, if I could say that,

  590. remember, I read, you know that they, they, they say all the

  591. right things. They do the right things with

  592. their heart is far from me. You've got to focus your heart,

  593. focus your mind. When you're with the Lord, you

  594. can mindlessly be sitting here. You could, you could without any

  595. thought be reading your Bible or putting it on, you know, read

  596. out loud mode and be doing the dishes and not giving one.

  597. Yep, I read it. No, you don't have a clue what

  598. it said. Don't be mindlessly engaging

  599. with God if you want His presence.

  600. If you want where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's true

  601. freedom and liberty. Be focused, have a focused heart

  602. and and always give thanks. Psalm 22, verse 3 is the

    Psalms 22:3

  603. scripture that says God inhabits the praises of his people and

  604. Israel, the praises of you, his people.

  605. God's presence comes in in the praise when we were doing praise

  606. and worship, loved, loved, loved.

  607. And I want to do that first song again, that his glory fills the

  608. temple as we worship Him. His presence fills your life

  609. when you're worshipping him. Are you thankful?

  610. Do you have a thankful heart? It's such a great habit to get

  611. in with the Lord first of all, but also in your home.

  612. If, if, if I can't say thank you to my husband or to my kids, no

  613. matter what it is, we're always like, thank you, appreciate you,

  614. thank you for doing that. Have a thankful heart.

  615. Vocalize it. You know that it's not a

  616. scripture, but it's a, it's a little saying that I like, dance

  617. like nobody's watching. Love like you've never been

  618. hurt. Was it?

  619. What's the rest of it? Nobody knows anyway.

  620. I can dance like nobody's watching.

  621. I have a problem with that. Love like you've never been

  622. hurt. Live life like it's heaven on

  623. earth. When are you going to wait to

  624. just fully love? When are you going to wait to

  625. just really love people and just really vocalize your

  626. appreciation for people? That's not what this is about,

  627. but apparently somebody needs to hear it.

  628. Don't wait. Don't be locked up.

  629. Don't, don't not tell the people around you how much you love

  630. them, how much you care, how thankful you are for them, for

  631. their gift, not just what they can do for you, but just how

  632. much you love them. Be quick to do that and do it

  633. often. Do it often.

  634. Psalm 34, I will bless the Lord at all times.

  635. Not sometimes, not in church, not every once in awhile.

  636. It says I'll bless the Lord at all times.

  637. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

  638. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord.

  639. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

  640. O magnify the Lord with me. Let me say something about this

  641. chapter. When we were at Rhema, Keith

  642. Moore was one of our instructors, and he made us

  643. every day in class without fail. Confess this out loud.

  644. And some days I was like, and so I'm just telling you because if

  645. some days you come in here and, and Chelsea or whoever's up here

  646. says lift your hands and you're like, well, get a hold of

  647. yourself and realize that it's for your good.

  648. We're helping you be a conqueror.

  649. We're helping you to step out of your comfort zone and and get

  650. into the presence of God and conquer some things in your

  651. life. Some of you need to break

  652. threats. They're free.

  653. You need to break free in the in this area.

  654. Take a run, you know, do something that's out of your

  655. comfort zone so that you know that you're free.

  656. Sometimes you don't want to, but the Lord's prompting you get

  657. out, do something, come down front, do something different

  658. then what you're always doing. Quit staying in your little

  659. locked up achy, breaky heart. Let me keep reading.

  660. Let me pull my pants up and keep reading, OK?

  661. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord.

  662. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

  663. Oh, magnify the Lord with me. I'm saying to you, Oh, magnify

  664. the Lord with me. Oh, magnify the Lord with me.

  665. Oh come on, magnify the Lord with me.

  666. Hallelujah. And let us exalt his name

  667. together. I sought the Lord.

  668. You know we like to see. I sought the Lord.

  669. And we sing that song. But do you believe it?

  670. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and he delivered me from all

  671. my fears. They looked to him and were

  672. radiant. Oh my, Oh my, His presence.

  673. It says they look to him. Are you looking to Him?

  674. If you're looking to Him, you'll be radiant, you'll be full of

  675. His glory, you'll be full of His presence, and their faces were

  676. not ashamed. If you're in his presence,

  677. there's not any shame that's going to be on you keeping you

  678. out of it. Once you taste and see that the

  679. Lord is good, once you get in his presence and go, oh wow, I

  680. don't ever want to be out of this, then then there's no

  681. shame. There's no anything that's going

  682. to keep you out because you're able to discern the the

  683. scripture says that the mature are the ones who by reason of

  684. use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.

  685. So, so when something like that comes, I can go, no, no, that's

  686. not what my God said. That's not what he said about

  687. me. Let's keep reading.

  688. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him and saved him out

  689. of all his troubles. The Angel of the Lord encamps

  690. around around those who fear him and delivers them.

  691. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.

  692. Blessed is the man who trusts in him.

  693. Oh, fear the Lord, you his Saints.

  694. There is no want to those who fear him.

  695. In other words, there's no lack anybody.

  696. You don't have to raise your hand.

  697. Anybody experiencing lack in this place.

  698. The scripture says there's no want to those who fear him.

  699. The Young Lions. Young Lions are pretty powerful,

  700. right? Pretty, pretty awesome

  701. creatures. The Young Lions lack and suffer

  702. hunger. People with all kinds of status

  703. and strength in the earth, they're going to lack and suffer

  704. hunger. But those who seek the Lord

  705. shall not lack any good thing, any good thing, not any good

  706. thing. Psalm 36, seven through 10.

  707. How precious is your loving kindness, O God?

  708. Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow

  709. of your wings. Because of your loving kindness

  710. You they are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of

  711. Your house and you give them drink from the river of your

  712. pleasures, for with you is a fountain of life.

  713. And in your light or in your presence we see light.

  714. Oh, continue your loving kindness to those who know you

  715. and your righteousness to the upright and heart.

  716. Psalm 42, five and verse 11 says, why are you downcast?

  717. Oh my soul, David, this is David, and why are you so

  718. disquieted within me, hoping God for I will yet praise Him for

  719. the help of His countenance or His presence.

  720. His presence will help you. His presence will pull you out.

  721. His presence will deliver you. His presence will give you

  722. freedom. And this says hoping God for I'm

  723. going to praise him for the help of his countenance.

  724. Verse 11 says, Why are you downcast, Oh my soul, and why

  725. are you disquieted within me, hoping God, for I will yet

  726. praise him again for the help of my countenance and my God.

  727. Psalm 95 says, Oh come, let us sing to the Lord.

  728. Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

  729. Let listen to this part. Let us come before His presence

  730. with Thanksgiving, and let us shout joyfully to Him with

  731. psalms. For the Lord is the great God

  732. and the great King above all gods.

  733. In His hand are the deep places of the earth.

  734. The heights of the hills are also His.

  735. The sea is his, for he made it and his hands formed the dry

  736. land. Oh, come, let us worship and bow

  737. down. Let us kneel before the Lord our

  738. Maker, for he is our God and we are his people, The sheep of his

  739. pasture and the sheep of his hand.

  740. Sorry, we are his people. I got, I, I feel like I'm about

  741. to like explode up here. We are the people of his pasture

  742. and the sheep of his hand. Psalm 100.

  743. I'm busting through a couple more scriptures so we can put

  744. our faith to action. Make a joyful shout to the Lord.

  745. All you land, serve the Lord with gladness.

  746. Listen, come before his presence with singing.

  747. Come before his. Do you do that at home?

  748. Do you come before his presence with singing?

  749. It's as simple as getting your car and saying thank you Lord,

  750. you're worthy. Oh, I honor you, thank you Lord,

  751. and just begin to sing out of your spirit.

  752. Just start thanking him. A thankful heart is is so huge

  753. for you to have victory in your life.

  754. Come before His presence with singing.

  755. Know that the Lord He is God. It is He who made us and not we

  756. ourselves, for we are His people, the sheep of His

  757. pasture. Enter into His gates with

  758. Thanksgiving and His courts with praise.

  759. Be thankful to Him and bless His name, for the Lord is good, and

  760. His mercy is everlasting, and his truth endures to all

  761. generations. Psalm 114 Seven tremble O earth,

  762. at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of

  763. Jacob. Psalm one O 5 verse 4 says Seek

  764. the Lord and his strength, seek his face or seek his presence

  765. forever more. Proverbs 1810, the name of the

  766. Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and

  767. they are safe. Worship team, you can come.

  768. I have a couple more scriptures to read while you're coming.

  769. That tower, that strong tower is a high, very high place.

  770. It is a safe and high place that is inaccessible to anything down

  771. here. It says the name of the Lord is

  772. a strong tower. The righteous run into it, and

  773. they are safe. Psalm 91 He that dwelleth in the

  774. secret place, what is that secret place?

  775. His presence. He that dwelleth in the secret

  776. place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the

  777. Almighty. I will say of the Lord, he is my

  778. refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.

  779. I want by unction of the Holy Ghost for us to sing.

  780. Your glory fills the temple as we worship you.

  781. I want to sing that song again and and I want you to put action

  782. to your faith. I'm not asking you to run.

  783. I'm not asking you to dance. I'm asking you to genuinely give

  784. him all the praise, because if for nothing else, He's delivered

  785. you out of the domain of darkness and brought you into

  786. the Kingdom of His son.
