  1. In the words of Peter, where would I go?

  2. They have words of life. Hey man, First Timothy, chapter

    1 Timothy 3:14–15

  3. 3, verse 14 to 15, it says this, and I'm writing these things to

  4. you, Paul, writing to Timothy, hoping to come to you before

  5. long. But in case I am delayed, I

  6. write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in

  7. the household of God, which is the Church of the living God,

  8. the pillar and support of the truth.

  9. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the engrafted word

  10. of God which is able to save our soul.

  11. Holy Spirit, breathe on us now that we may receive this word it

  12. and apply it to our lives. Father, we thank you that the

  13. Church of Jesus Christ is alive and well and will be an

  14. immovable force on your planet. And so, Father, we thank you

  15. that we will be encouraged, strengthened, and to know that

  16. you have given us a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, that the

  17. church is the most powerful thing on the planet and you are

  18. coming back for the reigning church in Jesus name, Amen.

  19. Doctor Miles Monroe said. We're purpose is not known,

  20. abuses are inevitable. We're a purpose is not known.

  21. Abuses are inevitable. Do you understand just because

  22. an organization is called something or is something

  23. doesn't mean it stays in its original purpose.

  24. We could even say this with the planet.

  25. Planet Earth is not as God originally designed.

  26. It's not functioning as he originally designed it.

  27. Now that's not God's fault. It's the one who whom he gave

  28. authority to, to keep the earth in this particular state that he

  29. originally. But Adam fell from dominion.

  30. He let go of that rulership. He gave it over to the enemy or

  31. the devil, the one who comes to kill, steal and destroy.

  32. And the systems that we have in the earth are not operating by

  33. God because God is not in control of those systems.

  34. God is in control of His Word and so the earth itself is not

  35. functioning. However, we have, if you have

  36. read the back of the book, as many of us here at Anchor Fade

  37. Church has done, because when you get to the last chapter,

  38. last verse, Revelation 2221, you'll see that there's a new

  39. heaven and a new earth. And the earth got originally

  40. designed and how he wanted it to function will function again,

  41. except this time it will function in another way, meaning

  42. that God will be just a little bit closer.

  43. Instead of him just residing in heaven, He brings the city down

  44. and moves on the planet. Hallelujah.

  45. Amen. Because he always wanted heaven

  46. and earth to be be the exact same environment.

  47. You understand this happens in companies all the time.

  48. Companies will start with a particular purpose, have a

  49. vision go through and then through US growth and

  50. development. All of a sudden it's models will

  51. change and they'll find themselves saying, you know

  52. what? We're not doing things like we

  53. originally intended and had to go back and do a refocus of how

  54. they've done things. We understand the church is not,

  55. how can I say it? It's subject to the same

  56. challenges because in the earth traditions come, things can

  57. happen, and all of a sudden we can pick up ideas that the

  58. church is because we're not intent in the Word to maintain

  59. what God says about a thing. And all of a sudden we develop

  60. traditions about things and then we change the model of stuff.

  61. Yet we keep the same title. Well, this is church, however,

  62. doesn't match the Church of the Bible.

  63. Amen. Doesn't match the Church of the

  64. Bible. And there are a lot of truths

  65. out in that are within the Scripture, but God never

  66. intended for the church to focus solely on one, right?

  67. That's true on a truth, a truth. Now, one truth we know for sure

  68. is that unless you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, you cannot

  69. be born again. In essence, the lost, we would

  70. say, needs to be saved. And I have probably heard this

  71. statement so many times, you know, and again, it didn't

  72. technically bother me until I kept going to Scripture.

  73. And when you go to Scripture, you can't help but say, is that

  74. so? So when I hear the only thing

  75. that matters and the the the purpose of the church or the

  76. role of the church is to win the lost, well, does the Bible say

  77. that should the church win the lost?

  78. Yes. But is it the only thing it

  79. should do? Because if it's the only thing

  80. it does, well, then a lot of people are not going to be

  81. discipled and a lot of things concerning God are not going to

  82. be spoken about. And I've heard even minister say

  83. this many times, you know, well, you know that all be figured out

  84. in the end. Well, God sent the church to

  85. disciple Saints so that they could grow in the Word, which

  86. means, what are the other truths out there?

  87. But Paul who had the revelation of the church, OK, says to

  88. Timothy, who is pastoring a very large church in Ephesus, he says

  89. to him, the one that Paul himself planted in Ephesus, he

  90. says, now listen, if I delay, I want you, I'm writing to you so

  91. you'll know. Put that verse back up.

  92. First Timothy chapter 3, verse 15.

    1 Timothy 3:15

  93. Know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God,

  94. which is the Church of the living God.

  95. And here it is the pillar and support of the truth.

  96. Now this word pillar is a column.

  97. It means it it, it can symbolize a person of authority.

  98. Paul himself said, I went to the pillars of the church.

  99. He talked about a some of the apostles, the apostle James, the

  100. apostle Peter. He said they were pillars,

  101. meaning they were people of authority.

  102. Why were they pillars? Because they had a firm

  103. foundation of the things the king has said, spoken his

  104. character, his way of conducting the Kingdom on the earth.

  105. So they were considered pillars. But a pillar also is the support

  106. of true doctrine. And when we say doctrine, a lot

  107. of times when we think we're the pillar on support of truth, a

  108. lot of times we fall back into this idea of just truth

  109. concerning things of God or things concerning his church.

  110. It's just God based. It's not world based.

  111. We understand God can tell you the truth about what happened

  112. back in, you know, 2020 money or what happened with, you know,

  113. World War 2 or what happened with someone's life because a

  114. word of knowledge can manifest so that you can know exactly

  115. what took place and what's the truth about a situation.

  116. So truth is not limited in one sense to just biblical things.

  117. You know, you can have the factual truth concerning

  118. situations. I know a lot of times there are

  119. things that happen. I'm like, Lord, why in the world

  120. I'm what I'm doing is I'm looking for truth.

  121. Now, that doesn't mean he's going to give me the authority

  122. to communicate why someone died. And anybody ever had that

  123. thought? Well, why did they die?

  124. You know what, there can be a reason for that.

  125. And you know what? God actually knows that reason

  126. and if we now God may not be God's not obligated to tell you

  127. all the time, but if he if you see Kim, you're going to have a

  128. better chance of the opportunity for him to say let me tell you

  129. the truth about this matter. Are you hearing me?

  130. But the Bible talks about the church being the pillar in

  131. support of truth. So we are a column.

  132. We are support of true things. In fact, the world should be

  133. coming to the church for answers, not the church going to

  134. the world for answers. But the minute the world, the

  135. church decides that we don't care about the world.

  136. Now we say we do well, we want to win the law, but we really

  137. don't care because we don't want to know truth.

  138. In order to know truth, you're going to have to change your

  139. thinking. You're going to have to change

  140. the way you think because God's ways are higher than our ways.

  141. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and God will start

  142. talking to you about some things of truth.

  143. Let me ask this question. Is the word truth OK?

  144. Jesus said you are to love me. Is that true with all your

  145. you're finishing it for me. Great.

  146. Most people stop there. Lord, I've given you my heart,

  147. but does he stop there? He says you are to love the Lord

  148. thy God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, all

  149. your you know what? That's your whole being, that

  150. spirit, soul and body, which means the truth of God's word

  151. is, is that as a believer, the the 4050 sixty hours during the

  152. week that you are out being a light to the world should not

  153. get your physical exertion so much that you cannot make it to

  154. church on Sunday. Because if you would say, well,

  155. I'm too tired, then you have given your physical body to the

  156. world and not to the Lord. Amen.

  157. Same in anyway. OK.

  158. And parents, you know, I know how parents are.

  159. I was a parent as well. You know, our children would go

  160. to school all day long and then we would after they've gotten up

  161. early, been in class all day, studied, you know, mentally

  162. they're exhausted. And we'll say, well, you're

  163. going to practice now and then we'll put them through a

  164. physical practice routine. Because if you're going to be a

  165. part of the team, you're going to do extra travel hours to a

  166. game on a weekend. They don't get off.

  167. But then sometimes, you know, as parents, they'll be like, well,

  168. I worked all week. Surely you understand.

  169. OK, so a pillar is that which supports or has authority.

  170. The word support means foundation or ground.

  171. So I'm going to read verse 5 again because we're going to

  172. kind of backtrack because it says, he said, now in case I'm

  173. delayed, I'm writing to you so you'll know how one ought to,

  174. which tells us you may not. This is how you ought to.

  175. There's a way you ought to. That doesn't mean everyone going

  176. to church is doing it that way, but this is how it ought to be.

  177. Which tells us that the Bible has an expectation.

  178. God has an expectation for how you live after you're born

  179. again. So this is how you ought to

  180. conduct himself in the household of God, which is the Church of

  181. the living God, the pillar and support of truth.

  182. If you do not have the pillar and the support of truth as the

  183. part of the church, then God, the living God, is not going to

  184. be obligated to be at your assembly, nor are you

  185. technically going to be functioning as the household of

  186. God. Now, I'm going to prove that out

  187. here in the next 20 minutes. The pillar in support of truth

  188. is a big deal when it comes to the church.

  189. And I'm going to be honest with you, as John George says,

  190. listen, we are living in the last of the last days.

  191. And this is not hypothetical hype.

  192. This is not trying to get you afraid.

  193. I'm not here to get you afraid. I'm here to get you pumped up,

  194. excited, because the greatest days of the church are ahead of

  195. us. It's an amazing time.

  196. Do you understand this amazing time?

  197. I mean, this is like the Super Bowl.

  198. This is a championship for the church.

  199. I mean, the whole season started on the book of Acts and it's

  200. been the season of the church aid to where now we're getting

  201. to the championship, to where the church is going to mature.

  202. It's going to be full of power. It's going to have the greatest

  203. demonstrations of God. But again, we have to make sure

  204. that we are right in line with what God's saying in his plan

  205. because he warns now in the last of the last days, there's going

  206. to be issues. People are going to fall away.

  207. Why? Because they have failed to

  208. recognize through my word exactly what I intended from the

  209. beginning. And you cannot win a

  210. championship if you don't get back to the fundamentals or the

  211. foundation. Which means then as we have

  212. grown as a church, we kept saying, well, I know people are

  213. or I've heard that, but what does the Bible say?

  214. My bedrock belief is not on the traditions of man, but on what

  215. does the Word say? And if Jesus Christ is building

  216. his church, which he is, then we must say what is the church he's

  217. building and the church he's building is built on the as a

  218. pillar and support of the truth and truth.

  219. There are a lot of truths within scripture.

  220. Jesus said this in John chapter 18 verse 38.

    John 18:38

  221. It said Pilate said therefore answered him.

  222. Then then you are king and Jesus answered.

  223. Now I'm reading out of the a oh what is this version AFVI can't

  224. remember what be a faithful version says this.

  225. Then you are king. Jesus said as you say, I am king

  226. for this purpose, say for this purpose, for this purpose I was

  227. born and for this reason I came into the world that I may bear

  228. witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth

  229. hears my voice. You know, the only reason, just

  230. to come off what Reverend John George said, the only reason why

  231. a person would listen to another voice is because they don't want

  232. to hear truth anymore. They want to hear a lie.

  233. And let me tell you, in our society today, people want to

  234. hear a lie. Now, I can tell you first hand,

  235. when we had the governor, there was a particular situation that

  236. occurred that I, I was not personally present, but I could

  237. bring the people who were personally present of how they

  238. addressed an individual that showed up and the meeting.

  239. OK, didn't, didn't, could not continue to attend the meeting.

  240. So they got on social media and communicated why they were not

  241. allowed to be at the meeting. And I'm here to tell you it is

  242. an utter lie. What they put out an utter lie.

  243. Every word spoken is not reality, right?

  244. That's right, But their audience, who has an ear to

  245. them? One asked the question, well,

  246. why did they put you out? And the next answer was a

  247. complete lie Completely. That is not how the situation

  248. went down at all. 0 did not happen.

  249. So what takes place here is that individuals following has

  250. created something that they say had occurred in the meeting that

  251. I was at, that never happened and at Anchor Fate Church, the

  252. ones who attended, they could all bear witness.

  253. That never occurred. That never occurred.

  254. So I can tell you the truth about that situation literally.

  255. Do you understand? God is in every situation.

  256. There's nowhere God is not Hallelujah.

  257. He's everywhere. So you post what you want to

  258. post. God was there.

  259. God knows exactly what went down, what was spoken, how it

  260. was handled, what took place, and God ultimately is going to

  261. judge those situations. I said he is going to judge

  262. because I can tell you when the when you stand before Christ,

  263. he'll pull up all your social media stuff and that's not being

  264. funny. That's real because those that

  265. are go before the great White Throne judgment.

  266. He opens up books. What do you think are in those

  267. books? It's every posting, it's every

  268. word. It's every idle word.

  269. Even with a believer, when you stand before the Bema seat of

  270. Christ, you're going to be judged on every idle word.

  271. Now not to get into heaven or to be in in in eternally with God,

  272. but for the rewards associated with how you function as a

  273. believer once you became in Christ.

  274. OK, so Jesus's purpose was because he was a king.

  275. Because again, the original function of the planet was that

  276. man would operate in dominion like God.

  277. Let us make man in our image according to our likeness, and

  278. let him have what dominion he was to rule over the earth.

  279. God never intended or never wanted the devil to rule over

  280. the planet or to be the God of this world.

  281. Adam gave it away because God gave it to Adam.

  282. So in order for God to receive it back, he must come as a man

  283. because it's man's right to have dominion on the earth.

  284. Hallelujah. And so Jesus says, I come back

  285. as a king because Adam was to rule the first one he fell.

  286. I'm the second or last Adam, I will rule.

  287. I'll take back from the devil what he took from when he says

  288. took was given to him by Adam. I will take it back.

  289. And he did. I said Annie did.

  290. And Jesus bears witness to truth.

  291. Matthew chapter 16, verse 18. The Passion says it this way.

    Matthew 16:18

  292. And I will give you the name Peter a stone.

  293. And this truth of who I am, say who I am will be the bedrock

  294. foundation on which I build my church, my legislative assembly.

  295. And the power of death will not be able to overpower it.

  296. You know, we are learning some really amazing things by the

  297. unction of the Holy Ghost of how the Bible's about a king, his

  298. Kingdom and his royal offspring. Because you understand the

  299. suffering servant is not coming back to the earth.

  300. The the lamb that was slain has been slain, but the king is

  301. returning and the King's going to return with an iron rod.

  302. The King's going to come back and put down his Kingdom on the

  303. earth. There is a government that he

  304. has and and Christianity church does not fit his government

  305. Kingdom. And so it's very important for

  306. us to say, God, what are you saying about these things and

  307. how does the church supposed to function and operate?

  308. Because when you dive into actual Scripture.

  309. As the Passion translated it accurately, it says legislative

  310. Assembly calls the church and are we the reigning church?

  311. Come on, are we the reigning church is a legislative assembly

  312. of called out ones. We are all ambassadors for

  313. Christ. We come into what is like an an

  314. embassy where we hear from the home country in order to

  315. communicate the policies of the Kingdom of God out into the

  316. world. Hallelujah, we are now citizens

  317. of God's Kingdom and so Jesus said now on this revelation or

  318. the truth of who I am, I will build my church.

  319. Well if we jumped up a verse or so and we will hear in a minute.

  320. He asked them to question in the verse 15th verse, he said, but

  321. who do you say that I am now God named himself I am.

  322. Remember when Moses said, well, who do I tell him that you know

  323. sent me? He said tell him I am sent you.

  324. You know when Jesus said when he was being brought before the

  325. high priest, He said I am man. When he said that remember when

  326. they came to him at the garden and they said, you know, are you

  327. that? He said I am many.

  328. I mean, he was that was God and they fell to the ground under

  329. under the power of him saying I am Hallelujah because the Son of

  330. man is the Son of God. So then if Jesus is saying, but

  331. who do you say that I am? And Peter says you're the

  332. Christ. Jesus says upon this truth that

  333. I am the Christ, I'll build my church.

  334. That is the bedrock of this legislative assembly, and the

  335. Christ is the King of the Kingdom.

  336. So the church was always intended to be built on a

  337. government, not a religion. And there are truths within this

  338. government that we are to learn from, not just how.

  339. Where do we go when we die? That was never the message of

  340. Jesus, never the message of Jesus.

  341. In John chapter 14 verse 6, we alluded to it here earlier.

    John 14:6

  342. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, the life and no one comes

  343. to the Father but but through me.

  344. Well, if I if he says who do, who do you say I am?

  345. And Peter says you are the Christ.

  346. We could say I am is the Christ. Well if I am is the Christ, it

  347. would read this way. The Christ is the way, the

  348. Christ is the truth. The Christ is the life and that

  349. is the King because Jesus is the truth.

  350. Hallelujah, Jesus. So how can you build a church

  351. and not preach the Word? How can the Word not take center

  352. stage of everything we do in life?

  353. If he says this is how you ought to conduct yourself in the

  354. household of God, which is the the Church of the living God,

  355. the pillar and support of truth. The pillar, support of truth is

  356. built on the Christ the King in the beginning was the Word and

  357. the Word was with God and then the Word was God.

  358. So the church has to be built solely on the Word, which means

  359. we are looking to it, not to the commentaries.

  360. We are looking to to, to rightly dividing it from Genesis 11 to

  361. Revelations 2221. We are to be asking questions.

  362. Are there things inside our church, our household, that is a

  363. tradition and not a foundation of truth?

  364. Because in his church you do not act any way you want to.

  365. He defines the behavior because the behavior is a result of the

  366. righteousness. And if you are a child of God,

  367. then this is how you act. All the epistles that that Paul

  368. were writing was the conduct around the believer.

  369. Now this is how you want to do now this is a bit you used to

  370. live this way, act this way, but now we live this way.

  371. Why? Because there's a way to live

  372. now that you're in the Kingdom of God and what you could never

  373. have done by your spirit because it was dead and separated from

  374. God. Christ did when he died on the

  375. cross, rose from the grave, poured out his blood on the

  376. mercy seat, covered all of your transgression so that when you

  377. ask, when you repent and ask for God's forgiveness, he will

  378. remove that spirit. Man put a new spirit in you

  379. that's created in the likeness of God.

  380. And then the counselor, the teacher will come and live in

  381. you. Bear witness to your spirit.

  382. You're a child of God. And then it's time to go to

  383. class because that's now you're a pupil in the Kingdom of God to

  384. learn your sonship, your daughtership, on who you are now

  385. in Christ, in the King. And the foundation of all you do

  386. has to say. What does the word say?

  387. How I feel about this doesn't matter.

  388. What's the word say? What's the word say?

  389. What's the word say? And so for me to train you as a

  390. pastor, if I am not caught, if our interactions do not get

  391. centered around when there's things saying, well, what's the

  392. word say about that, then I'm destroying the foundation by

  393. which the church is built. I can't sympathize with you.

  394. Meaning, man, that's really bad deal.

  395. How do you feel about it? What do you think you should do?

  396. But don't you see what happened? But what does the word say?

  397. But what does the word say? And that's not for the faint of

  398. heart. I get it.

  399. But that's who you are in Christ.

  400. And so when you establish that the church is the pillar in

  401. support of truth, meaning we are going to go into this thing and

  402. learn what is God saying about everything, about how to live,

  403. how to move. And Paul said in him, we live

  404. and move and have our being. You understand church is not

  405. something you do, it's who you are.

  406. This is not a time in your life, it is your life and until you

  407. get that, then you know what church is just a tradition and

  408. the foundation you're living on is your truth mixed with his

  409. truth, which at the end of the day is not going to get the

  410. results that God wants. And, and he'll also be

  411. constantly pointing back to you to get to the word Hallelu

  412. rightly divided by the Spirit of God.

  413. When you allow the word of God to be the pillar and support of

  414. all of your life, then what you, what you have done is you've

  415. allowed yourself to be in the place where the living God is.

  416. Yeah, that's right. Now, why do I say that?

  417. Because in the beginning was the and the word was with God in the

  418. word. So the living God is in the

  419. word. And I'm not talking a word

  420. preached by a religious person. I'm talking about The Word Alive

  421. on those who act on it. So Matthew 1616 again Peter

  422. answer says you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

  423. So notice because he recognized he was the Christ, the King, the

  424. word, the foundation, that of which Jesus goes on and said,

  425. now this is the bedrock of belief that I'm the king.

  426. Do you understand? Most of us believe that Jesus is

  427. just Savior. Savior is what he did.

  428. King is who he is. He is Lord, supreme authority.

  429. If Adam had never eaten the fruit, Jesus would never have

  430. had to save us. That's right.

  431. That's right. We never would have known him as

  432. the lamb slain. There would have been no need

  433. for blood. But he still would rule.

  434. Amen. He would still be ruling.

  435. He would still be the Lord, He would still be the Lord of all.

  436. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. So when you recognize that the

  437. Christ is connected to the living God, look at what it says

  438. in John 669. It says also, we have come to

  439. believe and to know that you are the Christ again, the Son of the

  440. living God. So understanding God's kingship

  441. is synonymous, yes, with recognizing the living God.

  442. It's synonymous. And we see this because if you

  443. if you went over to the book of Acts chapter 19 and this is

    Acts 19 chapter mention

  444. verse 21 to 20 to 41, we are not going to read them.

  445. I'm just going to communicate. And the reason I'm going to use

  446. Acts chapter 19 is because Paul in his writing to Timothy is

    Acts 19 chapter mention

  447. about the church at Ephesus. And Paul has been to assistant

  448. had a little challenge once. And you can read about in Acts

    Acts 19:21–41

  449. chapter 19 verses 21 to 41 that there was a particular

  450. blacksmith that was highly upset that Paul was in town because

  451. every town he ever went to, the idols of those towns started to

  452. become destroyed. And the manufacturing industry

  453. of those idols went from money to nothing.

  454. And so his economics was in play and so he assembled.

  455. Acts 19 says, and if you looked up that word assembly in Acts

  456. 19, it is the same word as Matthew 1618 that we define

  457. church is ekklesia. 19 does not communicate it as the church.

  458. They communicate it as an assembly, but it's the exact

  459. same Greek word. See, we've made church like it's

  460. only religion. But church in its original

  461. intent, which is ekklesia, is legislative assembly.

  462. It is a group of people coming together to discuss legal

  463. affairs concerning the country they represent.

  464. And so they this guy pulls in an assembly to discuss with all

  465. those in town concerning the trade of an idol called Diana

  466. one translation Artemis the another.

  467. And so they getting a huge uproar about this thing

  468. concerning Here's the thing. And if you if you take it for

  469. context in Acts 19 when they assemble for two hours, they

  470. shouted great is the goddess Diana for two out.

  471. I've never come to Anchor Faith Church.

  472. I have never in 21 years come to Anchor Faith Church.

  473. And praise took off to where we shouted for two hours.

  474. Jesus Christ is Lord. That has never happened, but a

  475. group of people that are separated from God but had more

  476. loyalty to the God of Mammon shouted for two hours straight

  477. concerning a God that is dead. The point of this is, is that

  478. when truth, because their whole religion is built on a lie and

  479. you can assemble and worship your God, but it was a dead God.

  480. It was not the living God. Acts chapter 1921 to 41 is a

  481. church service. It is another church in Ephesus

  482. beside the one Paul planted and they had a worship session for

  483. two hours for a God that was dead.

  484. But when you have the pillar in support of truth, that is the

  485. Christ, you begin to pray. Well, then you'll, you'll move

  486. into the, the, the, the church that has the living God, the

  487. living God, where he will be present among you, the living

  488. God. Now you can take the Diana, but

  489. I'm going to tell you right now. Look at this and second Timothy

  490. 35. The amplifier says it this way.

  491. Holding to a form of outward godliness or religion, although

  492. they have denied its power for their conduct, nullifies their

  493. claim of faith. Avoid such people and keep far

  494. away from them. Put that back up there again.

  495. Holding to a form of God, outward godliness.

  496. So from the outside, oh man, they're right with God just by

  497. how they talk. But they're denying the power of

  498. the Holy Ghost because their actual conducts nullifies their

  499. claims of faith. They are not handling situations

  500. as it is written. They're not walking through life

  501. as as it is written. They're making an excuse of why

  502. they can continue to do what they do, how they do, yet then

  503. they'll get a USA. Don't talk about.

  504. I know God, God knows my man. They always say that.

  505. And you know what I like to say? Yes, he does because he knows

  506. what spirit you're of right now. He knows why you're doing what

  507. you're doing. He knows what's going on in your

  508. heart. He knows what he's talked to you

  509. about about repenting. He knows the mercy he's extended

  510. towards you because if you don't allow the transfer me forming

  511. power of his word through the Spirit to renew your mind, then

  512. you're the all you're going to be is religious, which means you

  513. can even say Jesus and not be in a church with the living God.

  514. You say, how can that be pastor? Well, what did Jesus say on that

  515. day? They'll say, Lord, Lord didn't

  516. we? And he'll say, depart from me.

  517. I never knew you, I never knew you.

  518. So how do you know you're functioning in a church where

  519. the living God is #1 the word is being preached there.

  520. The reigning church is going to have the word rightly divided

  521. and it's constantly going to be looking into the Scripture on

  522. every aspect of life. From there it is the atmosphere

  523. by which the living God will inhabit and then it will produce

  524. the household of God. In Hebrews chapter 3 verse six

    Hebrews 3 chapter mention

  525. that says this, but Christ was faithful as a son over His

  526. house, whose house we are. If we hold fast our confidence

  527. and the boast of our hope firm until the end.

  528. If conditional statement, we hold fast our confidence and the

  529. boast of our hope firm until the end.

  530. You understand you can be in his house and leave his house.

  531. That is the prodigal son. The prodigal son was in the

  532. house but left the house. And whose responsibility was it

  533. to come back to the house? It was the son's responsibility

  534. because the father did not leave the house.

  535. All right, So just because you've been in church and then

  536. you get out of church doesn't mean you're still in it.

  537. OK. Matthew chapter 12 verse 46 to

    Matthew 12:46–48

  538. 48 or 50 says this. He said while he was still

  539. speaking to the crowds, because again we're talking a household.

  540. Jesus is the best over his own household over his own house.

  541. He says this while he was still speaking to the crowds.

  542. Behold his mother and brothers and and were standing outside

  543. seeking to speak to him. Now this is his literal mother

  544. and his literal half brothers and sisters and with our half,

  545. because Mary was the only one who conceived by the Holy Ghost,

  546. Jesus, Joseph help with the rest of the family that was in the

  547. house. OK, verse 47, someone said to

  548. him, behold, your mother and your brothers are standing

  549. outside seeking to speak with you.

  550. So what's Jesus his response? But Jesus answered the one who

  551. was telling him and he said, who is my mother and who are my

  552. brothers? Now was Jesus having an amnesia

  553. moment right? Do you think he forgot about

  554. Mary? Do you think he forgot about

  555. James? No, but he's here to make a

  556. point because again, one of the the things within the church is

  557. that God never intended for the people who came from my personal

  558. household to be my only household.

  559. That was never God's intent. And it says in stretching out

  560. his hand towards his, his what? Come on, we're almost done.

  561. His what? Disciples, He said, Behold my

  562. mother and my brothers. Now I can say you are my mother,

  563. my brothers, my sisters, right? I can say that.

  564. But it isn't just 'cause you're with me that makes you my

  565. family. Let's keep going, He said.

  566. Whoever for whoever does the will of my father.

  567. Now that tells me that if you are a disciple, then you must be

  568. a doer of the will of the Father.

  569. If you are not doing the will of the Father, then you are not a

  570. disciple because again, the Bible defines these terms.

  571. We don't get to define these terms.

  572. Having a class doesn't make you a disciple.

  573. Going to a church, taking a class does not make you a

  574. disciple. That's not what makes you a

  575. disciple. A disciple is someone who will

  576. be a doer of His word. Well, if you're going to be a

  577. doer of His word and understand all the truths that are

  578. associated in His Kingdom, then you're going to have to study

  579. the Word. And when He, when you hear it,

  580. you've got to let it change your thinking and then you act on it

  581. every time. Not sometimes, not 90% of the

  582. time, not 40% of the time, 100% of the time.

  583. If you fail to act on it, you repent and then you get back on

  584. acting on it. So Jesus is defining, if you're

  585. a disciple, then you're going to do the will of my Father.

  586. Well, is it the will of the Father that we assemble today?

  587. OK, that's just one truth. Whoever does the will of my

  588. Father who is in heaven, he is my brother and sister and.

  589. Mother for whoever, again, whoever, whoever.

  590. So he's looking at disciples. He's saying this family's bigger

  591. than this. So again, my family is not from

  592. my DNA as far as natural blood, but it is from the DNA of God.

  593. Hallelujah. And my brothers and sisters who

  594. love to do the will of God, it's easy to be around them.

  595. I mean, it's so fun to be around them.

  596. It is amazing to be around them because even if I do something

  597. wrong towards them, then they will forgive me, restore me, and

  598. we'll go on and vice versa. Because we never get offended,

  599. get hung up, never get into strife and those things that we

  600. allow it to stay. Why?

  601. Because we're too committed to doing the will of the Father.

  602. We're too passionate about doing His purpose and intent.

  603. We're too excited about waking up every day and saying, what

  604. does God want to do with me today?

  605. I can't wait to be around all these other people who just love

  606. to please the Father and live by faith that we eat, breathe and

  607. drink it. And it's not contained in the

  608. building, but it comes from this building because we assemble to

  609. do our part of what Dad asks us to do, and we passionately run

  610. and do it. Yeah, that is who Jesus is

  611. talking about. And you can have this household

  612. when you have the living God in your church, because the church

  613. is the pillar and supportive truth, not the place where

  614. opinions and cultural ideas are explored.

  615. One person said it this way. A household is a society marked

  616. by diversity in unity. Yeah, that's powerful.

  617. A household is a society marked by diversity in unity.

  618. And when I look out here and just in this sanctuary, I'm

  619. thankful. We're not the same, but our

  620. unity makes us unstoppable. What are we unified around doing

  621. The will of our father. Nothing personal.

  622. I got to do the will of my father.

  623. I love him so much. You know what?

  624. I'm going to love you through his eyes.

  625. And we're going to handle situations according to how Dad

  626. says to handle them. Because we love Dad and there's

  627. nothing that Dad hasn't can't help us overcome, nor has he not

  628. conquered. So it's easy for us.

  629. It's really easy for us. Then we're not like, OK Dad,

  630. let's do it your way. And I died a self and do his

  631. will is easy. And man, those people are the

  632. funnest to be around. And I just want you to know

  633. they're the only ones you're going to be around in eternity.

  634. No one is in the new Jerusalem and the new heaven and new

  635. earth. That's like, you know, this is

  636. pretty cool. I kind of miss.

  637. No, not at all. Not at all.

  638. Not at all. Let's close with this passage in

  639. Ephesians chapter 2. We're going to do water baptism.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  640. If you're going to be water baptized, I'm going to encourage

  641. you to step out now. Go ahead and change and then

  642. come back and get ready and we'll baptize you.

  643. Ephesians 218 to 22. It says For through Him we both

  644. have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

  645. So then we are no longer strangers and aliens, but you

  646. are fellow citizens with the Saints and you and are of God's

  647. household having been built on the on the foundation of the

  648. apostles and prophets, Christ himself being the cornerstone

  649. Christ Jesus himself. Christ is the Greek equivalent

  650. to the Hebrew word Messiah. What was the what was the church

  651. built on? That Jesus Christ is King, He's

  652. the King of the Kingdom, and we are a part of his Kingdom.

  653. We are citizens, fellow citizens, this one says in his

  654. Kingdom, and it makes us part of his household, in whom the whole

  655. body being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in

  656. the Lord, in whom also are being built together into a dwelling

  657. of God in the Spirit. And so we see here that who is

  658. in our household is those who do the will of the Father, your

  659. family. And there's nothing better than

  660. to be around. It's tough to be around someone

  661. who wants to rebel. And I'm going to do a little bit

  662. of a study on this because Reverend John George, I love

  663. being around people who like to talk the word right now, I can

  664. talk other stuff. Don't get me wrong.

  665. I can talk about football. I can talk about, you know,

  666. hockey. I can talk about, you know,

  667. other things. But I love to talk about the

  668. word. Word.

  669. And he said this, and he said, you know, there's a big

  670. difference between disobedience and rebellion.

  671. I'm like, oh, I need to preach that.

  672. That's good. Because I think some people

  673. think they're just disobeying when they're in downright

  674. rebellion. Those disobedience will lead you

  675. to the road of rebellion. But there's nothing.

  676. It's tough being around a believer that just doesn't want

  677. to do a word. Because it's like, I don't

  678. understand why are you not doing the work?

  679. I don't understand what's what's the problem?

  680. Why are you allowing your flesh to dominate, right?

  681. I don't understand you. You've been crucified with, I

  682. don't understand, but man, you get around those who have no

  683. problem. They're the funnest people to be

  684. with. You just love to hang out with

  685. them. You want to and you love the

  686. fact that they're not like you. They see things differently, but

  687. yet you're unified around that. We going to do what God says.

  688. We're going to fulfill God's plan.

  689. Now how are we going to do that? We say, what's the Bible say?

  690. What's the Bible say? I'm going to close with this

  691. again. John's been with us, Reverend

  692. John, for a little bit. And we talked about many things.

  693. And he would say, hey, in this situation, would you do this?

  694. And he gives me the word. I said, yeah, I know that's in

  695. the Word. I said I talked to the Lord

  696. about that. Is that your word for me in this

  697. situation? But He gave me this word

  698. instead, and according to this word, I'm doing this.

  699. Do you understand? Doing the will of the Father is

  700. not grabbing His word and deciding which one you want to

  701. apply, but it's seeking Him to find out which word He wants you

  702. to apply. Because when you apply the word

  703. He gives you, then you have the anointing of that word.

  704. You have the anointing of that word and situations.

  705. There are different applications by which the Father knows which

  706. to apply. He knows which to apply.

  707. For some, there's still more mercy, so he says stay here.

  708. But for others, he's like, you're going to say this, you're

  709. going to cut that off, but you have to have an ear to hear

  710. that, not you pick based upon how you feel about that

  711. situation. And now you're going to throw

  712. Scripture out there because God's living presence comes from

  713. the foundation that he's the pillar in support of truth.

  714. And he's like, the truth is about this situation.

  715. This is what I need you to do to get the best result.

  716. And sometimes the best result doesn't resolve it, but it's the

  717. best result for you. And then God moves on so he can

  718. do what He needs to do because you did what you did.

  719. Amen.
