-
Well, you know, we don't do traditional things around here,
-
right? But we are those that endeavor
-
to be led by the Spirit of God. And obviously, you know, Pastor
-
Angie, read the scripture that we are going to come out of
-
today. In Proverbs 31 and 30, it says
-
charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the
-
Lord shall be praised. A woman that fears the Lord.
-
What is he saying here? He's saying that none of these
-
things that we as ladies and in the generation and I, I'll get
-
to you men in a minute, but in the generation that we're
-
living, you know, we see to where women have to.
-
It's as if they're having to put a standard upon their life that
-
can never be attained to in the world.
-
And what a woman looks like in our looks, you know, according
-
to our beauty, you know, we have all kinds of things to make us
-
look beautiful today. That they've come up with
-
plaque. Well, you know, plastic surgery,
-
it's been around for a while, you know, and now we have the
-
Botox and now we have all the tux and the puffs and the
-
everything else, you know, the puffy lips and all of these
-
things. And, and, and all of these
-
things that is trying to put on us a image that God never
-
designed for us to have the burden for us to have to carry
-
that the burden for us to have to carry that perfection.
-
Right. And, and, and, and I'm saying
-
this even towards women, because now we're seeing women are not
-
the only ones having all these things done.
-
I mean, there's plenty of men that are getting the Botox and,
-
and even doing all kinds of other things, putting stuff in
-
their chest to give them a chest.
-
Come on, y'all looking at me like I'm strange.
-
This is true this. Is reality and this is the world
-
that we're living right and so you know, they're even doing
-
liposuction around their you know, to give them ABS to make
-
them look like their ABS are there and all these things.
-
Listen beauty, rest clearly in those that fear the Lord, in
-
those that fear the Lord. And this is not just a woman
-
thing, this is also a man thing. Because women are not the only
-
ones that are supposed to fear the Lord or wear the fear of the
-
Lord as clothing, right? Women are not the only ones that
-
are supposed to wear the fear of the Lord.
-
All mankind was to wear and clothe themselves in the fear of
-
the Lord. And when we look at what this
-
means, we're going to dive in a little bit to this, but the
-
title of the message is Flourish in Fear.
-
Flourish in fear. Because the thing about it is,
-
is that once we have a real understanding of what the flare
-
of the Lord is, we'll be able to flourish in that and grow up out
-
of that. All right?
-
We'll be able to grow up out of the fear of the Lord and
-
recognizing that the way that we are going to have a healthy,
-
beautiful life is that we have to be clothed in the fear of the
-
Lord. Because that's the only thing
-
that's going to make you glow. I did wear a thing this morning.
-
I was up at 5:00 AM. And, you know, they have those
-
masks that you stick on your face now, the collagen mask.
-
And so my husband walked in and he's like, wow, that makes you
-
look really different your face, you know?
-
Anyway, I put it on so that I could have a glow this morning,
-
but then I realized I just want the glow of the Holy Ghost on
-
the my life. Amen.
-
But anyway, you know, you do what you can do in the natural.
-
I heard one minister that I was listening to She said, you know,
-
you can do all that nip and tuck and and Botox and all that
-
stuff. If that's your prerogative, she
-
says, but I'm just going to age gracefully and that's what we
-
should be aging gracefully. What is gracefully in the grace
-
of the Lord Jesus Christ and in his anointing.
-
Come on. And and getting covered up
-
underneath his glow, Hallelujah, glory to God.
-
But anyway. So what does the fear of the
-
Lord mean? Does that mean that we're to be
-
afraid of God? No, it does not mean that we're
-
to be afraid of God in the sense of fear that the enemy is the
-
author of the enemy is the author of fear, and that fear is
-
there, there to drive you and to punish you and to, you know, put
-
things on you that you were never meant to carry.
-
But the fear of the Lord as we begin to actually look at it
-
properly through Scripture will show us that this is a beautiful
-
thing and it is a requirement. As a child of God, as a child of
-
the King, as one that's saying he is my Lord, then we all are
-
to understand and walk in the fear of the Lord.
-
And outside of you walking in the fear of the Lord, you will
-
not walk in your relationship with the Lord properly.
-
You won't walk in it properly. And so we see here, I like to
-
read this, this quote by John Bevere, he said, and this is the
-
foundation of us laying the fear of the Lord and what it really
-
is, the fear of the Lord is the foundation of our salvation.
-
Meaning he said this you cannot truly love God until we fear
-
Him, nor can you properly feel fear Him until we love Him.
-
And the key here is that love and fear cannot be separated.
-
And we've actually tried to separate it in American
-
Christianity. The true fear of the Lord and
-
the true love of God cannot be separated.
-
It goes hand in hand and it works together.
-
And when one of them is missing, abuse is inevitable.
-
Abuse is inevitable when one of them is missing and your life is
-
not built upon the foundation of not just God's love, but the
-
fear of God. If it is not built upon that
-
foundation, abuse is inevitable. There will be dysfunction, there
-
will be misguidance, and everything will become skewed
-
and lopsided if they are not properly working together.
-
And we don't properly understand that this is what we must build
-
our life upon. Not just the love of God, but
-
also the fear of God. And we've been taught here in
-
Anchor Faith Church for those that are a part of this body
-
that everything in the Kingdom of.
-
God grows up out of the heart of love.
-
Everything in the Kingdom of God, or as we know, the forest
-
bed of the Kingdom. Come on.
-
Everything is growing up out of love.
-
Everything, everything is growing up out of love.
-
Love. His mercy is growing up out of
-
love. Come on, His grace is growing up
-
out of love. Everything is growing.
-
Hit faith is growing up out of love, out of the forest bed of
-
love. That is what it's growing up out
-
of. But I would like to say this as
-
well, it's grow. It should be growing up out of
-
fear, the fear of the Lord, the fear of the Lord and the love of
-
God. Because when they are both in
-
proper position, then I'm going to tell you what, nothing,
-
nothing will be withheld from you.
-
Nothing will. I read over just concerning the
-
fear of the Lord out of Scripture.
-
He indicated over 30 promises just for those who live in the
-
fear of the Lord. But when you live in the fear of
-
the Lord, everything in the Kingdom will flow.
-
All the promises of God will flow up out of that in your life
-
when you really understand what it is.
-
So everything is growing up out of the love of God and the fear
-
of God. Let me read the scripture here.
-
Why are we saying this? Because we know first John
1 John 4 chapter mention
-
chapter 4 and verse eight said God is love.
-
God is love. OK, but here in Psalms one O 3,
-
this is where we're going to get started.
-
And then I'm actually going to define the fear of the Lord.
-
Psalms one O 3, Excuse me. Verses 11 through 13 says this.
-
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His
-
loving kindness towards those who what fear Him, as far as the
-
east is from the West, so far as He has removed our
-
transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion
-
on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him
-
because of His loving kindness. Because of his loving kindness,
-
we see that now the fear of the Lord is in operation, and the
-
compassion comes because of that.
-
Compassion comes because of those who fear Him because he
-
loves them, right? And here we're going to see what
-
the fear of the Lord. Let me give you the definition
-
of the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord literally
-
means just to Revere, to reverence, to honor.
-
And This is why I believe there's a struggle in the church
-
today, because people truly don't understand honor, because
-
honor is a byproduct of the fear of the Lord.
-
Honor is a byproduct of the fear of the Lord, of the fear of the
-
Lord. And so it means to honor.
-
It means to stand in awe. Like if God's not blowing you
-
away, you might not have the fear of the Lord in your life
-
anymore. If you're not in awe of the fact
-
of what He's done in your life, come on and where you're at
-
today and your walk as a believer, then you may be
-
struggling with the fear of the Lord.
-
And he says this, to stand in awe, to esteem, to esteem, to be
-
devoted to wow, to be devoted to how many believers are truly
-
today even still devoted to Him? Devoted, like your life is
-
devoted to him, and it means to be afraid, but again, afraid or
-
dread. One translation said afraid or
-
dread, but in this context that you don't want to displease him,
-
you would never want to do anything that would displease
-
him, that would dishonor him. You know, we're so concerned
-
about pleasing others and pleasing.
-
Come on, whatever. How about pleasing him because
-
it is impossible to please him without faith?
-
And do we really have faith if we are living our life to please
-
ourself and our desires and what we want and how we want it and
-
when we want it? Come on now.
-
Somebody better get in faith and start helping me preach because
-
you need it. Say I need this word.
-
I received this word because this word will save my soul.
-
So to be afraid or to dread in the context that you never would
-
want to dishonor his name, you never would want to displease
-
him. That's the kind of fear and
-
context. Do you know that we we have
-
turned this word pleasing upside down in our society because
-
actually God created us to have a desire to please him.
-
But see, man has twisted it and perverted it so much in our
-
world today that we think to do anything for anybody or to try
-
to please them is wrong. Don't you want to please your
-
spouse? Is that wrong?
-
There's a desire within each and every one of us that is wanting
-
to be pleasing. I want to be in a relationship
-
with people and I want them to be pleased with with me.
-
That's not see we've perverted it and think we're doing it just
-
for something we need. No, it's not about something I
-
need. It's about something he put
-
within me to please people. You don't want to displease
-
people, do you? I mean, and it has no strings
-
attached. See, when it's perverted, it's
-
about pleasing because you're trying to draw off of something
-
affirmation. But see, I'm just pleasing
-
because I'm his child and I want to please him.
-
And if I want to please him, then I'm going to be pleasing to
-
others in a proper way, not in an unhealthy way.
-
You see, we've we've twisted this word anyway.
-
I don't have time to get on that so.
-
It is. It's there within us because of
-
this dread that we do not. This is why every child wants to
-
please their father and their mother.
-
It's in them. It's their nature.
-
It's OK. It's proper.
-
And we've made it a bad thing. It's in association, actually,
-
with obedience. It's all about obedience.
-
It's all about obedience to His will.
-
It's not about being afraid of God, but rather acknowledging
-
His authority and holiness and what He actually did for us as
-
children. Amen.
-
And it leads us because of His authority within my life and
-
because of His Holiness it it. It.
-
Leads me to want to please him and walk in holiness and desire
-
the things that he thinks is pleasing.
-
You see that? And when it's not proper, that's
-
where perversion and dysfunction come in.
-
OK. Because it's not about pleasing
-
in our own self worth. But it's about pleasing within
-
what He put within me. You see that and our respect
-
towards who He is in our life, who He is in our life.
-
If we truly understand this fear, I believe some things will
-
shift within our walk with the Lord.
-
Look at Psalms 118 and 4. Psalms 118 and four.
-
Let all who fear the Lord repeat His faithful love endures
-
forever. See how love and fear are going
-
hand in hand. Oh, let those who reverently
-
fear the Lord say His loving kindness endures forever.
-
That's out of the amplified. Look at Psalms one O 3, Psalms
-
one O 317. But the love of the Lord remains
-
forever with those who fear him. The love of the Lord remains
-
forever for those who fear Him, who reverence Him, who honor
-
Him, Come on, who want to do His will and please Him.
-
His love remains forever. Come on His salvation.
-
What else extends to your children when there is a lack of
-
honor for the Lord and the fear of the Lord in your house?
-
Come on, it will affect your children because of His love.
-
If it will affect your children, how about this one?
-
Will not the fear of the Lord? And this, you know, this is
-
number one reason why I've heard young adults say that they no
-
longer want to go to church. It's because they didn't see it
-
happening in their own households as they were being
-
raised up. There was too much hypocrisy.
-
See, the fear of the Lord will keep you from hypocrisy.
-
The fear of the Lord will keep you from hypocrisy.
-
It will save you from hypocrisy. And so I'm telling you, there's
-
some things we must rework in our lives if we're seeing the
-
fear of the Lord is lacking no honor, no reverence for the
-
things of God, not putting him not Oh, Matthew 633, this isn't
-
in my notes, but see it's written in my heart.
-
Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness.
-
And 1st ought to be in your family that we serve the Lord,
-
me and my household. We're going to serve the Lord.
-
We're going to honor him. We're going to fear him.
-
We're going to reverence him. We're going to please him.
-
We are actually going to be obedient to His will for our
-
lives. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, the fear
-
of the Lord. Now look at Philippians.
-
Philippians chapter 2 and verse 12 says this.
Philippians 2 chapter mention
-
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, look at
-
this, see this obedience here You've always obeyed not not as
-
in my presence only, but now much more in my absence.
-
Here he says, work out your salvation with what?
-
See, a lot of people's salvation today lacks the.
-
Fear and trembling. So we all, God's children, we're
-
all born again, but there's No Fear of the Lord in your life
-
because if there was, certain things wouldn't be an option.
-
Certain things wouldn't be an option.
-
Hallelujah. See, you have to work out your
-
salvation with fear and trembling, with honor, with
-
reverence, with pleasing God, with being obedient to His will,
-
with wanting to do what it is that pleases Him, not displease
-
Him. You see that?
-
And that is what real faith is, because again, it's impossible
-
to please Him without faith. It's impossible to please him
-
without faith. So he lets us know that, listen,
-
we have something that we're to work out within our lives of
-
being born again. And it comes with fear and it
-
comes with trembling. Look at Isaiah 33.
-
Six. In that day he will be a sure
-
foundation, providing a rich store of salvation.
-
I want you to focus on this in that day you will be a sure
-
foundation. What's that day, the day of your
-
salvation, The foundation, come on, we're talking about the
-
foundation. If the foundation of your walk
-
in Christ is not laid and based upon the love of God and the
-
fear of the Lord, your foundation is going to be
-
shaken. But those that has a foundation
-
should come on that's built a sure foundation that's built
-
Look at here providing a rich store of salvation.
-
Highlight that word in your Bible or in your notes.
-
You should be taking notes and and highlight it where it says
-
store of your salvation, a rich store.
-
Do you know that your salvation is a?
-
Amazon warehouse, an Amazon warehouse.
-
Just think about that. A rich store you're going to see
-
in a minute. Go on.
-
And he says this of salvation, wisdom and knowledge.
-
Salvation, wisdom and knowledge. Wisdom and knowledge.
-
And then he goes on to say this. The fear of the Lord will be
-
your what? Your treasure, the fear of the
-
Lord, will be your treasure. Where your treasure is, there
-
your heart will be. Where your treasure is, get
-
this. Where your treasure, the fear of
-
the Lord, will be your treasure. Where your treasure is, your
-
heart will be, and within this, the fear of the Lord is a depth,
-
a warehouse, a storehouse of treasure.
-
It is like an Amazon warehouse, full of everything that you need
-
to be able to pull forth for this life, to be able to do what
-
it is that God needs you to do as a believer.
-
But guess where it is? It's all.
-
Hidden in the fear of the Lord. It's all stored up and hidden in
-
the fear of the Lord. And there's a warehouse full
-
full of wisdom, full of knowledge.
-
But we're going to see what else.
-
Listen, this literally means a storehouse, which you can also
-
go to Malachi about giving. This is the literal storehouse.
-
So when he says where the fear of the Lord is is where your
-
treasure is, there is a storehouse waiting for you of
-
we're going to see not just spiritual things, wisdom and
-
knowledge, salvation, not just spiritual things.
-
This word storehouse, oh man, this word treasure is like a
-
treasury, a treasury and a treasury is something that also
-
has weaponry. It even indicates weaponry.
-
So in this treasury of the fear of the Lord, there's some
-
weapons that are stored up, come on and waiting for you to tap
-
into. It is.
-
It is storing up every, everything that you need,
-
wisdom, knowledge, deliverance. It also means deliverance.
-
It means a weapon tree, everything you need to fight the
-
devil, to walk in this life and have success and be all that God
-
has said you are in Christ Jesus.
-
Everything. There's a Amazon warehouse
-
waiting for you to put your ticket in and have it delivered
-
at your doorstep in less than 24 hours.
-
I went shopping yesterday. I don't like shopping.
-
Really. I really don't.
-
I want to go in one store that has it all so I don't have to go
-
all around. And so and I didn't really want
-
to go shopping yesterday because I knew I had to minister this
-
thing and I just really wanted to pray and to fast and, you
-
know, be all spiritual and have this.
-
And and so we ended up spending all day long shopping and trying
-
to find me an outfit. Found me not one thing.
-
This this beautifully came up out of my closet already.
-
Didn't have to buy a thing. Bought Pastor 3 new suits.
-
Stand up and a new shirt couldn't find me.
-
Go to the whole Daytona outlets and not find me.
-
Not one thing. What in the world?
-
What in the world shot we did Literally didn't get home till
-
6:00. I mean and then he's like, well,
-
let's run into TJ Maxx on the way home.
-
Maybe you'll find something there.
-
When in TJ Maxx, nothing. Went into JC Penney's.
-
Oh my God, no, we didn't. He didn't go.
-
He made me go into Dillard's. Anyway, why was I going to say
-
that? A warehouse, Yeah, that's why,
-
because we went to the Daytona Mall, after we went to the
-
outlets, we went to the old Daytona Volusia mall.
-
They have 3 Dillard's attached to their mall.
-
This Dillard's had three huge warehouses that were the mall
-
full of clothes. He says surely you're going to
-
find something in here. I mean, this place is, I mean,
-
it just goes on and on and on and clothes and clothes and
-
clothes. I mean clothes after clothes
-
after clothes. And not find one stitch that I
-
even liked. Am IA picky clothes shopper?
-
I don't even know. And he's like, well, what are
-
you going to wear tomorrow? I wanted you to get a new
-
outfit. I said something will appear in
-
my closet. You know, I'll put something
-
together. Anyway, it was full.
-
This. If y'all have never encountered
-
this Dillard's at the old Volusia Mall.
-
I mean I'm serious. You need to just go see it just
-
to believe it. It was like 3 huge of our JC
-
Penney's area 3 and the Belk area three of those and it was 2
-
stories. Three of them, two stories, so
-
much. It was overwhelming.
-
That's probably what it is, because I like to go into one
-
store, find one little thing and leave it.
-
It was so overwhelming. There were so many clothes.
-
I'm like, I don't even know how people shop in here anyway.
-
A storehouse. It was full.
-
And that's what we have in the fear of the Lord.
-
A storehouse that is full of whatever come on, whatever you
-
need as a believer in the earth today.
-
And so he says, listen, the fear of the Lord will be your
-
treasure will be your will be your storehouse.
-
Look at Proverbs 14. Proverbs 1426 through 27 says
-
those who fear the Lord are secure.
-
They have strong confidence He will be a refuge for their
-
children. I'm telling you the way you fear
-
the Lord affects your children and This is why people don't
-
know. You know what's going on with my
-
well check up in your house. He says verse 27 the.
-
Fear of the Lord. Is a life giving Here it is
-
fountain. So it's a treasury.
-
It's a storehouse full of anything that you need from God.
-
It is a life giving fountain that offers escape from the
-
snares of death. A life giving fountain where the
-
fear of the Lord is, it's going to be life.
-
When there is No Fear of the Lord, there's death and the
-
enemy can bring a snare and a trap to your life because
-
really, you're lacking the fear of the Lord.
-
You're lacking the fear of the Lord.
-
We have to recognize these things.
-
But it is a spring of life, you see, that So not only is the
-
fear of the Lord. You know, again, everybody when
-
you hear you say the fear of the Lord, they think, oh, this is
-
so, you know, whatever, it's so hard and he wants to be so hard
-
on me and oh, I'm, I'm, you know, have to have the fear of
-
the Lord. No, he says.
-
The fear of the Lord is life giving.
-
It actually means it is the starting point of life when you
-
look that up. It is the.
-
Starting point of life. The.
-
Starting point, the source that everything is going to spring up
-
out of the fear of the Lord and and when where there is No Fear,
-
things seem dried up in your relationship with the Lord when
-
there's No Fear. Look what else he says it's a
-
life giving fountain a fountain is something that is continually
-
so that means there's a refreshing there's springs of
-
living water. Come on, that source that's
-
flowing within you? But not only that is a source of
-
joy. Joy, joy wellspring is what they
-
call it, the joy wellspring. That means there, where there's
-
the fear of the Lord, there's going to be joy, there's going
-
to be refreshing, there's going to be water flowing and a
-
refreshing at all times. And joy can spring up and spring
-
forth in your life where there's the fear of the Lord, where
-
there's the fear of the Lord. Psalms 147 and 11, no.
-
The Lord's delight is in those who fear.
-
Him. See he.
-
Delights in those who fear him and those who put their hope in
-
his. What unfailing love?
-
See, there's the fear of the Lord and the unfailing love.
-
We're not trying to, you know, separate that.
-
But when you do separate it, you'll either have legalism or
-
you'll have full blown grace that never requires you to.
-
To do anything, he's done it all, but when they're
-
functioning properly, when they're functioning properly,
-
they'll be some life that will spring forth.
-
They'll be a delight. He says listen, wisdom and
-
knowledge, the fear of the Lord again, here it is.
-
Second Scripture will be your treasure will be your treasure.
-
Hallelujah. Look at Proverbs 910 and 11.
-
Proverbs 9/10/11 The. Fear of the Lord.
-
Is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge.
-
So it is at the foundation. We already said that.
-
Or the beginning of wisdom and knowledge.
-
You see that? So if we're going to walk in the
-
wisdom and the knowledge of our salvation, the fear of the Lord
-
has to be within our life. It's the beginning, it's the
-
beginning of wisdom and knowledge and understanding.
-
For by me your days will be multiplied and your years will
-
be added to you. Come on with long life He will
-
satisfy. Listen, your life, your life can
-
be multiplied and added to the days of your life when you fear
-
Him. We see it all the time.
-
People that are against God, they are rebellious towards God.
-
Why do you think they're dropping dead early?
-
Why do you think death is rampant in their life?
-
Why do you think there's so much drama and chaos and destruction
-
in everything they're doing? Because there's No Fear of the
-
Lord, but those who fear him, you can be guaranteed that he's
-
going to add to the days of your life, that he's going to
-
multiply. Come on.
-
Oh, he says also with long life he will satisfy Hallelujah.
-
So it can be a multiplication to your life.
-
Proverbs 22 and 4 says this, the reward of humility and the fear
-
of the Lord. Here it is, our riches, honor
-
and life. Riches, honor, and life.
-
So that treasury that we were talking about, that storehouse
-
that we were talking about has to do with riches, not just
-
spiritual things like I said, like wisdom and knowledge and
-
salvation and all the things that the Lord brings through His
-
word to our life, grace, mercy, joy, love, peace, kindness, all
-
those spiritual things. He lets us know that riches,
-
this will be added to your life riches, and it is literally a
-
treasury. It is literally money.
-
Riches will be added to your life, riches, finances.
-
You should see an addition to your life as your fear.
-
You know why you're not? Because you don't fear the Lord
-
to give. All right, so I, you know,
-
pastor talked about that. I'll, I'll move on.
-
So then he goes on to say riches, honor, honor, honor will
-
be a part of your life when you actually fear him and honor him.
-
See, he reciprocates everything, everything.
-
He reciprocates everything. You honor him, He says, I'll
-
honor you. I'll lift you up.
-
You honor one another. Come on, honor one another.
-
You talking about people gossiping about people hurting
-
people. That is not honor and it's not
-
the fear of the Lord. But when you decide you're going
-
to honor people and love them and go on about your business
-
and and all these other things, listen, then he's going to honor
-
you. He's going to honor you because
-
whatsoever a man, he will reap. He will reap.
-
And people can reap dishonor. And so he says in life, life,
-
life, riches, honor and life. And then this literally that
-
riches, honor and life needs the abundance of glory.
-
Rich's honor and life means the abundance of glory.
-
And when I look that word up there with the abundance of
-
glory where he says Rich is honored and it has to do with
-
the weight of who he is upon your life.
-
That is what Adam walked in, when he walked in the garden.
-
He walked in all of God's what glory.
-
He walked in all of God's glory. The full weight of who God was
-
was in Adam. Life itself was in Adam.
-
The glory of God was upon Adam. The glory was within Adam.
-
That's why we know when he disobeyed, He what He disobeyed.
-
The glory departed. So this was the full weight of
-
who God is. And when you begin to operate
-
within the fear of the Lord, the full weight of who God is will
-
rest upon your life. And that's the thing that God
-
that people will see. They'll see the glory of the
-
Lord upon your life. Come on.
-
He wants the glory of the Lord to be upon you in such richness
-
and fullness and life that when you walk, come on out of these
-
doors and wherever you go, people see the glory upon your
-
life. They see the glory, they see the
-
full way and measure of God upon your life because you're
-
carriers of the glory of God. But it don't come if there's no
-
honor, if there's No Fear of the Lord.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God much you could say
-
about that. That's what this reigning church
-
is going to look like. The reigning church is going to
-
have the fullness. Of God, the fullness of the
-
glory of God resting upon it once again.
-
Come on, those who will believe, those who will walk and do what
-
it's what we're supposed to do. Those that will fear the Lord,
-
those that will put Him first in everything they're doing.
-
Come on, I'm telling you, the glory of the Lord will rest upon
-
and we're going to see it. It rested upon them in the book
-
of Acts. In the book of Acts and where
-
little side note and where the glory rest, miracles will happen
-
easy, easy, easy. Miracles will happen easy.
-
Signs and wonders will happen easy.
-
Because there's the fear of the Lord upon everyone, upon
-
everyone. You know, we had Doctor Jack
-
Myers do the Kingdom Institute graduation and he ended up
-
laying hands on someone after the graduation and immediately
-
their bodies were healed and they saw it.
-
And, and he said, Pastor Earl, the reason why that can happen
-
is because you've set an atmosphere with the glory of God
-
for miracles to happen. That's why it was easy.
-
That's why it was easy. See, it's here.
-
But if you take for granted what's here and don't realize
-
you're sitting in it, come on. If you don't honor it,
-
Hallelujah. So he says, where was I at
-
Proverbs 817? I love those who love me, and
-
those who diligently seek me will find me.
-
Riches and honor are where with me, enduring wealth and
-
righteousness in the midst of the paths of justice.
-
To endow those who love me with wealth that I may what fill
-
their treasuries. That I may feel their treasuries
-
for those who love him and seek Him and are walking in
-
righteousness. He's ready to add to your
-
treasury. Psalms 112133 Praise ye the
-
Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth
-
the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.
-
His seed shall be mighty upon the earth.
-
The generation of the uprights shall be blessed.
-
Wealth and riches shall be in His house.
-
His righteousness endureth forever.
-
See, the fear of the Lord affects your house affects the
-
next. Your seed affects your seed
-
affects your seed. So this isn't just about us,
-
it's about the next generation and it's about the seed that's
-
still coming forth. Hallelujah.
-
And, and, and all has to do with us that will honor him and the
-
things that are being stored up and things that are stored up
-
for us to walk into. Look at this, it says in Psalms
-
3318. It says, but the Lord watches
-
over those who fear him and those who rely on this, his
-
unfailing love. I fear him and guess what?
-
I rely on his unfailing love. I fear him, and I rely on his
-
unfailing love. That ought to be a confession
-
out of your mouth. I fear him, and I rely on his
-
unfailing love. I fear him and I rely on his
-
unfailing love. I fear him, and I rely on his
-
unfailing love. Hallelujah.
-
And when you fear him, you'll do what pleases him.
-
You'll do his commandments, you'll do his word above all
-
else. You'll do his word above all
-
else. You'll do his word.
-
You'll keep his word, you'll keep his word.
-
And with that you can be assured that there is things right there
-
waiting for you. This ought to be our confession.
-
Psalms 8611. Teach me Thy way, O Lord, and I
-
will walk in Thy truth. Unite my heart to fear Thy name.
-
Teach me Thy way, Lord. Unite my heart to truth, to Your
-
truth, not the world's truth, not my own opinion of truth, but
-
your truth, right, your truth, your truth, so that I would fear
-
your name, because those that will fear him will honor him.
-
John Bevere says this. The fear of God is to believe
-
God. To believe God is to obey him.
-
So when you truly say, Oh yeah, I believe God, Oh yeah, I have
-
faith. Are you obeying him and and how
-
are you obeying him? Are you obeying him according to
-
your standard or are you obeying him according to the standard of
-
his word? Those, those are the ones that
-
fearing that I'm going to obey him according to the standard of
-
his word, not according to what makes me feel good, not
-
according to all these other things, but according to what
-
does his word say about this situation?
-
And I'm going to do that in the midst of it, right?
-
I'm going to do that. AW, Tozer says this.
-
When men no longer fear God, they trust transgress his laws
-
without hesitation. When men no longer fear God,
-
they transgress his laws without hesitation.
-
Without hesitation. Wow, when people just flippantly
-
are doing things without doing it according to what the
-
standard of the word is, without hesitation, is there really fear
-
of the Lord in their life? Without hesitation, they will
-
transgress His laws. We're not talking about, you
-
know, the 10 commandments, guys. We know that His word is His
-
law. And when people flippantly do
-
things that you know are outside of scripture and don't even
-
hesitate to do it, there is No Fear of the Lord.
-
There's No Fear of the Lord. There's No Fear of the Lord.
-
See, when we have the fear of the Lord, Proverbs 813 says
-
this. The fear of the Lord is to hate
-
evil. It's to hate evil.
-
And anything against His word is evil.
-
It's evil. Anything against his word is
-
evil. Pride and arrogancy and the evil
-
way and the forward mouth do I hate.
-
So we have to ask ourselves, do we?
-
Do we, you know, just flippantly do the things we want to do,
-
even though we know that scripturally this isn't how
-
you're supposed to do things? OK.
-
Proverbs 16, six and seven. By loving kindness and truth,
-
sin or iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord. 1
-
keeps away from evil. You see that?
-
So the fear of the Lord is going to keep you away from evil.
-
The fear of the Lord honoring Him, reverencing Him, doing His
-
word, being obedient, it's going to keep you from wanting to do
-
evil. And when you just flippantly do
-
evil, or it you don't even hesitate to do evil, there is No
-
Fear of the Lord in your life. No Fear of the Lord.
-
This is what Scripture is saying.
-
This is not what I'm saying. This is what Scripture says.
-
And he says it in a loving, fearful way.
-
It's all connected. Oswald Chambers says this.
-
Or excuse me, Spurgeon. Spurgeon says this.
-
He who fears God has nothing else to fear.
-
Hallelujah, Woo. He who fears help has nothing
-
else to fear. Glory to God.
-
Oh Hallelujah. See, it'll keep you.
-
It'll keep you in the midst of your enemy.
-
You don't have to fear. Not one thing.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
You don't have to fear man. You don't have to fear a
-
situation. Come on.
-
You don't have to fear cancer because you fear him.
-
You fear him? Oh.
-
Hallelujah. Then Oswald Chambers said this.
-
The remarkable thing about God is that when you fear God, you
-
fear nothing else. Whereas if you do not fear God,
-
you will fear everything else. You'll fear everything else.
-
But when you have the fear of the Lord in your life, you don't
-
have to fear. Not one thing, not one thing,
-
not one thing, Hallelujah. Not one thing, Glory to God, not
-
one thing. Hallelujah.
-
Oh Hallelujah, glory to God, say I fear the Lord.
-
I fear the Lord. Hallelujah, let me read this
-
last scripture. Yep, we're at the last
-
scripture. Can you hang on and hold out
-
Psalms 34? Because it's not just one
-
scripture, it's several. 7 through 11, the last passage of
-
scripture. Hallelujah, the Angel.
-
Of the Lord Hallelujah in camps around those who fear.
-
Him. Oh, Hallelujah, I fear the Lord.
-
Glory to God, say I fear the Lord.
-
I fear the Lord. Oh, I don't want to do anything
-
that dishonors him. Glory to God because.
-
My. Angels, Hallelujah, my angels,
-
glory to God, are encamped around me.
-
See, that's why you don't have to fear a thing, because when
-
you fear Him, you don't have to fear a thing, because His angels
-
surround you. Hallelujah, oh, His angels
-
surround you, and guess what they do?
-
And he rescues them. Glory to God, oh taste and see
-
that the Lord is good. How blessed is the man that
-
takes refuge in him. Oh, fear the Lord.
-
You his Saints. Fear the Lord.
-
You're his Saints. Fear the Lord.
-
Not just mothers. You Saints.
-
You Saints. You need to do a check up from
-
the neck up. Who said that?
-
All right, Raphael, quit trying to preach me down.
-
You had your time, now just get it.
-
A. Check up on the fear of the Lord
-
in your life. Are you running towards evil or
-
are you running away from it? Oh Hallelujah, those that fear
-
Him. Oh Hallelujah, all you Saints,
-
for to those who fear Him there is no want.
-
There is no want for those who fear Him.
-
What is it that you want? What is it that you want?
-
Why don't you move on over into the fear of the Lord?
-
What is it that you want? Move on over into the fear of
-
the Lord. What is it that you want?
-
Move on over into the fear of the Lord.
-
Come on, what is it that you want?
-
Move over into the fear of the Lord?
-
Because in Him there is no want. There's no want, there's no
-
want. The Young Lions do lack, and
-
they suffer hunger, but they who seek the Lord shall be in any
-
want of any good thing. Come you children, listen to me,
-
say, listen to me, listen to me. He who has ears to hear, say,
-
listen to me. Let's check up on the fear of
-
the Lord in our lives. Let's check up.
-
Listen to me. Isn't that what he's saying?
-
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
-
I'll teach you the fear of the Lord.
-
Teach you the fear of the Lord. The Angel of the Lord encamps
-
around those who fear him, who reverence him, who Revere him,
-
who worship Him in what? In awe like does he still
-
overwhelm you? Does he still give you
-
butterflies? Come on out of His goodness, His
-
goodness. When you think about look what
-
the Lord has done. We, we sing that song and we run
-
and we shout, but do we really look what the Lord has done?
-
Because we would stand in awe and there would be no one that
-
would be able to stay in their seat because they would be in a
-
place of worship and honor towards Him.
-
See, we can never forget what He has done, the great salvation
-
that we have. Let us not forget the scripture
-
says this great salvation. And those who forget their they
-
lack fear. They lack the fear of the Lord,
-
they lack the fear of the Lord. Hallelujah, worship him in awe
-
and each of them he delivers. Oh, taste and see that the Lord
-
is good, He is good, blessed, happy, fortunate to be envied is
-
the man who trusts and takes refuge in him.
-
You should be envied. Because you have taken refuge in
-
Him. Oh, fear the Lord, you Saints
-
Revere and worship Him, for there is no want to those who
-
truly Revere and worship Him in godly fear.
-
The Young Lions lack food, they suffer, but they who seek and
-
inquire and require the Lord, by right of their need and on the
-
authority of His Word, none of them shall lack any beneficial
-
thing. Come, you children, listen to
-
me, say, listen to me. I will teach you to Revere and
-
worshiply fear the Lord.
