  1. It's been stirring in me since, you know, the beginning of the

  2. year around March time when we were reading this, and it just

  3. stood out. Well, you know, I've read these

  4. scriptures for 32 years all of my life, but that's what's so

  5. good about our Heavenly Father. Things always will begin to jump

  6. off the pages for you. Come on.

  7. Because the Holy Spirit's always speaking.

  8. And not only is He always speaking, not just what we need,

  9. but preparing us for things to maybe to come that we don't even

  10. know about, right? But then not only that, you

  11. know, showing us that His word is living and active, that it

  12. is, it is alive, that it is not dead.

  13. When I pick up this word, it's alive.

  14. That means it will jump up off the pages.

  15. To me, over 30 years of reading the scriptures, there's

  16. something else to be discovered. OK.

  17. And so that's very important in where we're going with this.

  18. And so it says, if any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

  19. And he said unto them, take heed.

  20. Say take heed what you hear, take heed what you hear.

  21. With what measure you need it, it shall be measured to you and

  22. unto you that hear shall more be given.

  23. And we know Pastor was in the vein of faith and teaching out

  24. of Romans because what faith comes by hearing and hearing

  25. from the word of God? But then he also said anything

  26. that we are doing and operating in comes through hearing,

  27. period. It all comes through hearing.

  28. So what are we giving our ears attention to?

  29. Our ears? Why don't we say it like this?

  30. Are your measuring cup OK? I should have brought my

  31. measuring cup up here. Our ears are a measuring cup.

  32. And what are we feeling that measuring cup up with?

  33. Are we filling it up with hearing from the word of God?

  34. Or are we filling it up with other voices?

  35. And what are we talking about? Other voices, other things that

  36. we listen to, right? As Pastor said, you may be

  37. listening right now. My TV is on 24/7 news because

  38. that's all my dad wants to listen to right now as I'm

  39. taking care of him. So guess what?

  40. He's feeding on the news. His cup is overflowing with the

  41. news, right? The news, the news, the news.

  42. Well, you may be a person that all you feed on is music.

  43. Well, what kind of music are you feeding on, right?

  44. You're filling your measuring cup up your ears.

  45. Are your measuring cup OK? And so we know we should be

  46. filling ourselves up with whatsoever things are pure,

  47. holy, just, righteous. You know, the scripture tells us

  48. and Peter, we should be meditating on these proper

  49. things. And meditation has to do with

  50. hearing as well. OK, But he's saying listen with

  51. what measure you meet. But he lets us know, listen, you

  52. need to take heed what you hear because again, we know there's

  53. plenty of voices speaking. And we know that in the last

  54. days, there's going to be, we've talked about this since last

  55. year, seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.

  56. And not only that, there's going to be voices that are going to

  57. try to perpetuate lies within your life to get you off.

  58. OK. And we need to recognize he's

  59. telling us here. We need to be taking heed what

  60. we're hearing. That means I'm not going to be

  61. listening to everything that everybody has to say.

  62. I'm going to take heed because I'm not going to fill up my

  63. measuring cup with things I shouldn't be hearing.

  64. Isn't that what happened to Eve? She was seduced by what the

  65. serpent said, which was the opposite of what God said.

  66. And so seduction, or you know, those seducing voices can come

  67. from right here in what you're filling your ears with.

  68. And so This is why the Scripture warns us to take heed what you

  69. hear. And we also know in Second

  70. Corinthians, you know, that he tells us we're actually

  71. literally supposed to take every thought captive.

  72. So how does a thought come? A thought comes a lot of times

  73. from what you've allowed in your ear.

  74. And you'll take on that thought and then you'll begin to

  75. meditate on it because you heard something right?

  76. And so he's warning us, listen, we need to take heed what we

  77. hear. So what does take heed mean?

  78. What it means when we look it up in the Greek, it means this, to

  79. beware, beware. So he's given us a warning.

  80. Isn't that what beware means? Beware of what you're hearing,

  81. beware of. To see.

  82. This is interesting to see, to look, to discern.

  83. So now my eyes are involved. But guess what?

  84. It's not. It's my eyes of the Spirit.

  85. Because this has to do with discernment and perception and

  86. perceiving. So what I hear I can see by the

  87. Spirit if I discern properly, and if I can see through the

  88. Spirit and perceive is what I'm hearing from God or not.

  89. And this is important. And so it goes.

  90. It says to discern with your eye, to perceive by your senses,

  91. and to see with the mind's eye. You see that with the mind's

  92. eye, and to have the power of understanding, to discern

  93. mentally, to observe, to discover, and to understand.

  94. So he's telling us that we need to understand, discern, see,

  95. perceive with our senses and beware of what we are hearing,

  96. of what we're hearing. It also means to turn your

  97. thoughts because what you hear again will turn into that

  98. thought and meditation. So it means to turn the thought,

  99. and in that what the devil did to Eve turn the thought through

  100. deception because of what she heard him say.

  101. So he turned the thought. It means to direct the mind to a

  102. thing to consider, to contemplate, to look at, to

  103. weigh, say, weigh. So when he tells me to take

  104. heed, he's also saying you need to weigh this thing.

  105. What are we going to weigh this thing towards?

  106. Or another word is judge it. So he's telling us that what we

  107. hear, we better weigh, we better discern, we better judge.

  108. And what are we judging it to the word?

  109. What are we weighing it to the word?

  110. I don't know about that because I'm hearing something that I

  111. don't think lines up with the word.

  112. I've weighed it. I've I've actually weighed it

  113. towards the word and it don't line up what you're saying.

  114. So you know what? I'm going to take heed what I'm

  115. hearing. I'm going to beware and I'm

  116. going to eradicate that out of my ears.

  117. I'm going to clean my ears out. Sometimes you need that deep

  118. clean in your ears. You know, they pour that the

  119. candle and all this stuff wax anyway.

  120. So he's saying to carefully examine.

  121. It also means so to weigh, to judge, to carefully examine.

  122. This is what that word take heed means to what you're hearing and

  123. it's a warning. It's saying listen, don't listen

  124. to everything you're hearing. Don't take it.

  125. I'd like to say hook, line and sinker, No, It needs to be

  126. weighed. It needs to be examined.

  127. It needs to be judged. And the thing that I'm going to

  128. weigh it and judge it towards is the word of God, the word of

  129. God. And if it don't line up with the

  130. word, it ain't right and it ain't coming in my ears.

  131. It's not coming in my ears, OK. And So what this means is a

  132. person that will take heed is wide awake because you do not

  133. want to be a person that is heedless.

  134. That's heedless. That means you just listen to

  135. whatever and you take no thought in anything that you're hearing.

  136. And you just let your ears be open to everything and you take

  137. no thought to it. Do you know there's people that

  138. sit in the in the churches that hear the word because this is

  139. what we're going to get to and put no thought towards it.

  140. They're heedless. And you know why they put no

  141. thought or how you know, they don't put thought to it is

  142. because their actions, their behaviors don't line up to what

  143. they're hearing. It don't line up to what they're

  144. hearing. And so therefore they have been

  145. heedless. They've not heeded the word of

  146. God. They've not right.

  147. They've not judged it. They've not looked and, and,

  148. and, and put themselves towards it.

  149. They've not gotten understanding to it.

  150. They've not contemplated it. They've not considered it.

  151. Plenty of people just sit and let it go in what it What's this

  152. term in one ear? And that's a thoughtless,

  153. heedless person. And he's letting us know we

  154. better take heed to what we're hearing.

  155. We better consider what we're hearing.

  156. We better contemplate what we're hearing.

  157. We better discern what we're hearing.

  158. Why should we discern it? So that we can make the

  159. adjustments that are necessary. And that's how we know that we

  160. have taken heed. That means I take heed to what

  161. the Word is that's being spoken and I'm going to align myself up

  162. with it. You see that?

  163. Because I'm going to be awake and I am going to be a person

  164. that's going to discern what the Spirit is saying, and I'm not

  165. going to allow myself to just be open to anything that I'm

  166. hearing. That's why we have to be careful

  167. and we're going to see later on, which I'll do that anyway.

  168. So let's go over to, I won't go there right now.

  169. Let's go to Mark 4. Let's look at this.

  170. Mark 4 though. I want you to see that was in

  171. context. Actually, Mark 4IN context is

  172. talking about the parable of the sower, the seed of the seed of

  173. the word that's being sown into the heart.

  174. And you know there was different, you know, soils of

  175. the heart that the seed was being sown in.

  176. And so that's a whole nother lesson.

  177. But what I want you to see here is when you go up to mark 11411

  178. through 12, it says this. And he said unto them, unto you,

  179. it has been given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.

  180. Here he was teaching the disciples about the parable of

  181. the seed. And he's saying you've been

  182. given the mystery. I'm allowing you to hear it,

  183. perceive it, discern it, and grab hold of it.

  184. I'm allowing you to do that because then he goes on and you

  185. look, what does he say? He says, I'm giving you the

  186. mystery of the Kingdom of God. It says, but unto them that are

  187. without, all these things are done in parables, seeing that

  188. they may see and not perceive, and hearing that they may not

  189. hear and understand. Do you see what he's talking

  190. about here? This is where he's talking about

  191. being able to perceive, being able to discern, being taken

  192. heed need of what is being said. And he's saying listen, lest

  193. anytime they should be converted and their sins should be

  194. forgiven. So he says and hearing, they may

  195. hear, but he's saying listen. But you've been granted this

  196. mystery. You've been granted the fact

  197. that you get to discern what the Scripture is saying.

  198. And do you know every one of us as a believer, because of the

  199. Holy Ghost that's living on the inside of us now, get to discern

  200. His Word when we hear it. And we get to be able to put it

  201. in, in activation within our life.

  202. If we will take heed to it, if we will see what the Scripture

  203. is saying, if we'll ask for understanding and discernment,

  204. all of these things, when we hear the Word, that should be

  205. part of our participation and what it is that we're hearing,

  206. because that means we're taking heed.

  207. We're giving our ear, so to speak, to the Word.

  208. We're taking heed. We're we're going to understand

  209. it, we're going to perceive it, we're going to contemplate it.

  210. We're going to spend time meditating on it.

  211. We're going to receive it in our ear.

  212. And you know what? We can put within our ears as

  213. much word as we want. Nobody's stopping you.

  214. So that goes back to that measure.

  215. How much do you want? And this you're going to see is

  216. important in a, in a few more scriptures that we read.

  217. So this is what he's saying. A, a heedless person gives no

  218. thought to what they're hearing. I don't ever want to sit in this

  219. seat and sit up underneath God's word and give no thought to what

  220. it is that he is saying through his word.

  221. I don't want to be a heedless person.

  222. We need to be honoring the word of God that's feeding our

  223. spirit, right, so that we can walk in the things that He has

  224. promised us to walk into. Now look at Luke 8 and 18 out of

  225. the amplified. So here it is another word that

  226. He lets us know about taking heed, He says.

  227. So be careful how you listen. So now he's talking about how

  228. you're listening, how your ears are being attentive to what is

  229. being said. Do you know he cares about how

  230. you're listening to His word? Are you listening to His word

  231. to, you know, come against it like the Pharisees and the

  232. religious people were? Are you listening to the word to

  233. justify your behaviors? Are you listening to the word

  234. because you want to grow, because you want to discern,

  235. because you want to understand, because you want the word to,

  236. you know, change your life. And so he says this.

  237. So be careful how you listen for whoever has a what a teachable

  238. heart. So your heart is connected to

  239. your ears. So we could do the what's that

  240. song? The hair bone, your ear bone?

  241. What's that song? I don't know how it goes but

  242. y'all know what I'm talking about.

  243. So he's letting us know that our ears are connected here to what?

  244. Our heart, because He's letting us know.

  245. Be careful how you listen. For whoever has a teachable

  246. heart to him, more understanding will come.

  247. If you don't have a teachable heart, guess what?

  248. He's not obligated to give you more.

  249. If you're not teachable and you're not even hearing what

  250. he's already said and doing what he's already said today, or not

  251. today but every day to do in your life, then guess what?

  252. He's not obligated to give you more.

  253. He's not. And maybe you sit and you're

  254. hearing the word and thinking, I've seen no change in my life.

  255. Well, maybe you need to go back to the last word you actually

  256. heard and submitted to because it has to do with being

  257. teachable, has to do with being teachable.

  258. But our ears are connected to our heart.

  259. Our ears are connected to our heart.

  260. It says to him, more understanding will be given.

  261. And whoever does not have a listen to this.

  262. A longing for the truth. Whoever does not have a longing

  263. for the truth. A desire, a hunger.

  264. Those who hunger and thirst, see there it goes back to this.

  265. So it's also connected to your stomach, right?

  266. Whoever's hungry for the word, whoever desires the word,

  267. whoever longs for truth. Do you long for truth more than

  268. you long for listening to the lies that the world perpetuates?

  269. Because the devil is the God of this world and he is nothing but

  270. a liar. So do you long for truth?

  271. That ought to be the desire and the hunger and the passion that

  272. we had. We want to be people that desire

  273. and long for truth. Not for fables Scripture talks

  274. about, not for foolish reasonings.

  275. But do you long for truth? Truth in the midst of your

  276. heart. And he goes on to say even what

  277. he thinks he has will be taken away from him.

  278. So if you don't desire the truth, guess what?

  279. He's not going to give it to you.

  280. And in what you do have can be taken away.

  281. Isn't that what the scripture says?

  282. I didn't say that. The scripture said it.

  283. It can be taken away to where you get caught up into so many

  284. lies in your life because you've actually rejected truth that you

  285. can just buy the lies and get so caught up in lies of the enemy.

  286. It be taken from you because you don't want truth, you don't long

  287. for truth, you don't desire truth.

  288. You've actually rejected truth. That's a that's, that's what's

  289. so awesome about our God is he lets us know of the things that

  290. we could fall into danger with. I'm glad there's a big danger

  291. sign out here that says danger, take heed.

  292. If you don't do these things as a believer, it's not guaranteed

  293. that you can't fall into the lies.

  294. And we know in the last days, many are going to fall away from

  295. the truth. Fall away from the what?

  296. The truth because they got caught up in the lives, they

  297. rejected truth, they didn't hunger for it, they didn't

  298. desire it any longer. And So what little bit of truth

  299. they did had, it was taken away. And now they're completely

  300. deceived. And this is how people are going

  301. to fall away from the truth because they're going to get

  302. caught up in the deceitfulness of lies.

  303. Now look again, you know, in First Timothy chapter 4, this is

    1 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  304. good guys. Y'all want me to laugh?

  305. I don't know, tell a funny joke, You know, really, I don't have

  306. anything funny to say. I actually feel like crying.

  307. But at the anointing upon my life is what I walk by.

  308. The anointing upon my life is what I walk by.

  309. And I walk by faith. And I don't walk by sight.

  310. And I live by faith and I don't live by how I feel and what come

  311. on, what's going on in my life? Because I could give you a list,

  312. but I would spare you. OK.

  313. So anyway, in First Timothy chapter 4, that makes me laugh.

    1 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  314. Hallelujah chapter 4 and verses one through 2 says this, but the

  315. Holy Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in

  316. the latter time some will turn away from the faith, paying

  317. attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and

  318. doctrines of demons misled by hypocrisy of liars.

  319. Hypocrisy of liars who consciences are what seared as

  320. with a branding iron, leaving them incapable of ethical what

  321. functioning. I'm telling you, we need to take

  322. heed what we're hearing in these days and in this hours that we

  323. are living so that we are not going to be one that rejects

  324. truth and walks away from it because we are caught up in

  325. listening to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons and

  326. being led by hypocrisy of liars. And so he goes on to say, you

  327. know, and pastor, you know, we, we use this scripture for the

  328. past two year or the year before last about the reigning spirit.

  329. And he came up out of this Scripture multiple times last

  330. year. And so the reason why I bring

  331. this up is because if you go on down to first Timothy chapter 4

    1 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  332. and verse 16, let's go there, it says again in the King James

  333. Version, take heed unto thyself. So here he's telling us, take

  334. heed to what you hear in Mark 4. And now he's telling us, you

  335. need to take heed to yourself. You need to take heed to

  336. yourself here, and you need to says this and unto the doctrine.

  337. So take heed to yourself, but then also unto the doctrine

  338. which we know. He's talking to Timothy, who was

  339. a minister, but obviously he's saying it to us as believers as

  340. well. Take heed to ourselves and unto

  341. the doctrine. Why is this doctrine so

  342. important? Because this doctrine is truth

  343. unto doctrine. When you say doctrine, it's

  344. truth of God's word unto the truth.

  345. Continue, Say, continue, continue in them.

  346. That means that we cannot continue in the doctrine or in

  347. the truth. Why?

  348. Because we take heed to seducing spirits, doctrines of demons,

  349. the hypocrisy of liars, that seducing spirit, that lying

  350. spirit, and it will get us off. Just like it got Eve off of the

  351. truth. She had the truth God himself

  352. spoke right and she had it. So he's saying, listen, you need

  353. to be you need to take heed yourself and you need to stay

  354. with truth and you need to what? Continue in it, For in doing

  355. this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear, then

  356. thee that hear thee. See that it goes back to the

  357. hearing. What is it that you are saying?

  358. What are people hearing from your life of faith?

  359. What's your doctrine that you're spreading?

  360. See that saying, Listen, take heed to yourself, take heed to

  361. the Word and you best continue in it so that you'll be saved

  362. yourself and those who hear it, those who hear it now look over

  363. in the amplified at this Scripture, First Timothy chapter

    1 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  364. 4 and verse 16. Here we see another word they

  365. use in the amplified that continues to reiterate what this

  366. word take heed means. Pay close attention to yourself.

  367. You know, I thought I was only going to give have like 7

  368. scriptures that I was seeing that talked about taking heed,

  369. but I found 28. That's why we're going to do a

  370. few more Wednesdays. There was 28 scriptures that

  371. talked about taking heed. I thought only 7, but it was 28.

  372. OK. So anyway, he says, listen, pay

  373. out of the amplified, pay close attention to yourself.

  374. Why are you worrying about everybody else and their and and

  375. what's going on in their lives? You need to worry about

  376. yourself. I mean, I had to tell my kids

  377. that in school and growing up and and you know, people you

  378. work with and I what you, I don't care what they're doing.

  379. You shouldn't care what they're doing.

  380. You better take care of your own self, mind your own business.

  381. Take care of yourself. Pay attention to yourself.

  382. What are you doing? Why you worrying about everybody

  383. else? Pay attention to what you're

  384. doing, pay attention to yourself and what are you doing in the

  385. midst of all of these things? So he's saying, listen, you

  386. better pay close attention to yourself.

  387. Concentrate on your personal development.

  388. I don't care where this persons at, I personally going to

  389. develop in truth. I'm personally going to take

  390. heed what I'm hearing. I'm personally going to be one

  391. that is going to live this thing out.

  392. I'm going to hear what the Spirit is saying.

  393. I'm going to hear what the Word is saying.

  394. I'm going to discern properly what's happening because I'm

  395. actually going to take personal responsibility for my life.

  396. I'm not responsible for everyone else, you see that?

  397. I'm responsible to take heed what I'm hearing and then to

  398. live it out properly. But I'm not to take on everybody

  399. else and what they're doing and what they're not doing and blah,

  400. blah, blah. Because I'm going to tell you,

  401. you will be ran ragged worrying about everybody else and what

  402. they're supposed to be doing and what they're not doing.

  403. And why are they? Who cares?

  404. Do you, right? Do you?

  405. So he goes on for your own personal development and to your

  406. teaching. Persevere in these things where

  407. he says continue in them. He's saying, listen, you're

  408. going to have to persevere in the truth in the word.

  409. You're going to have to persevere in it, in these

  410. things. You're going to have to be the

  411. one to hold on to them. The things that you've heard,

  412. the things that you've been taught, the truth of God's Word

  413. that you've been built your life upon, because we're going to

  414. talk about this, you need to hold on to Him.

  415. It says, for as you do this, you will ensure salvation both for

  416. yourself and for those who hear you.

  417. Amen. So the Scripture clearly says,

  418. listen, we are to take heed to ourselves.

  419. Ephesians chapter 4/11/15 says this.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  420. And he gave some apostles and prophets and evangelists and

  421. pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the Saints, for

  422. the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of

  423. Christ, until we all come to the unity of faith, the knowledge of

  424. the Son of God. Unto what a perfect man This is

  425. that development. This is you personally allowing

  426. yourself to develop right to the measure and the stature of the

  427. fullness of Christ that we henceforth.

  428. This is why truth and the doctrine that you stand upon is

  429. so important, that you will no longer be a child tossed to and

  430. fro, carried about by every wave of doctrine right, every wind

  431. and sleight of men. Listen to what it says and

  432. cunning craftiness. This is that seducing lying

  433. spirit, cunning trying to get you off.

  434. It says whereby they lie to wait to deceive, trying to get you

  435. off, waiting to just get to you so that he can deceive you, to

  436. get you off of what you know. Truth is what you know.

  437. The word of God says it's black and white.

  438. There's no middle ground. You either see it and read it

  439. and do it or you don't. There's no middle ground in

  440. there. Very clear.

  441. You know what's so good about AI that I found?

  442. If you say AII did this, I have done this multiple times.

  443. Now that I've learned this whole AI thing, tell me what Matthew

  444. 14 Seven means and it will clearly stay state exactly what

  445. the scripture means. I have not found one time that

  446. it has misrepresented what the word said straight up straight

  447. on. You know why?

  448. Because it only takes from the Scripture, not traditions of

  449. men, not religious doctrines of men.

  450. It only bases it strictly from what the word says.

  451. Straight up black and white. When you read this chapter, this

  452. is what it means for what it is for what's it saying?

  453. You know, that's how I've always read the word black and white.

  454. I see it in the word it says. I'm not supposed to do that.

  455. Guess what? I'm not going to do it.

  456. Oh, that's really easy. It's not difficult.

  457. It's not difficult. It's black and white.

  458. Oh, the word says I should forgive.

  459. We're going to see. I should take heed.

  460. And being able to forgive people, oh, I'm going to forgive

  461. them. Easy as that.

  462. Black and white, very clear. You don't have to have a a

  463. theological degree to figure that out.

  464. You don't have to have all of your hermeneutics and hominetics

  465. and the pathetics and all these things.

  466. Seriously, you just read the word and do what it says and

  467. guess what? You'll have life.

  468. You'll live according to the word.

  469. It's that easy and AI gets it. AI gets it.

  470. We complicate it. We complicate it with our own

  471. desires, with our own thinking, with our own reasoning.

  472. We complicate it when it's straight up black and white and

  473. easy. Hallelujah.

  474. Thank God. Thank God that we do not have to

  475. be deceived if we would just do what the Word says.

  476. Look at verse 15. But speaking the truth in love

  477. that you may grow up into all things, which is the head, even

  478. Christ. So the goal is, is that we are

  479. mature enough by growing and developing and taking heed to

  480. what the word of God has said in truth so that we're not going to

  481. get carried away by lies, by lies, by a lying spirit, a

  482. seducing spirit. And you know what a seducing

  483. spirit does? It always keeps it in ambiguity,

  484. suspicious. You can never know how it just

  485. you know it's how it is. So let's look on what he says

  486. here. The next thing we read and then

  487. we'll close. I know it's getting tight, but

  488. it's right. First Corinthians who praise the

  489. Lord chapter 3 verses 10. Now remember I, this has been

  490. brewing since long time ago, OK, First Corinthians chapter 3 and

    1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  491. verse 10 says this. According to the grace of God,

  492. which is given unto me as a wise master builder, I have laid the

  493. foundation. What's the foundation?

  494. The word of God, the doctrine, the things that we were talking

  495. about, and another build is there on.

  496. But let every man what? Take heed.

  497. Now what is your responsibility as a man and a woman of God?

  498. You are to take heed how He buildeth there upon.

  499. You're to take heed of what you're allowing to be built

  500. within your life. You're the master builder as

  501. well. He's the master builder, but you

  502. also are a master builder because you're up underneath the

  503. master. And what is it that you're

  504. building on in your life? What's your house built of?

  505. Are you built on lies? Are you built on your truth?

  506. Are you built on? Come on, your traditions?

  507. Are you built on your religious experiences?

  508. Or are you built on the word of God?

  509. Are you built on your family DNA?

  510. Come on. No, we are to be built upon the

  511. word of God. That is got to be, has to be,

  512. has to be our foundation. And it's so important that we

  513. recognize this because we're seeing believers fall off their

  514. rockers, OK, because they have not built properly.

  515. They've not built property properly.

  516. You know, when the Word of God comes, we've taught this before,

  517. It's either going to form a new belief within your life or it's

  518. going to strengthen a belief within your life.

  519. OK, we've taught this before. So when the Word of God comes

  520. and you actually take heed of it and begin to practice it and do

  521. it, then you're building a foundation within your life,

  522. right? You're building that in your

  523. life. And so maybe you had never heard

  524. that it's God's will for you to be healed, but you find out it

  525. is absolutely God's will for healing to be a part of my life

  526. in Christ, right? And so every time you hear a

  527. healing scripture, guess what it's doing?

  528. It's building another layer in the bedrock of your foundation,

  529. right, Building upon the foundation.

  530. Have you ever looked at the Grand Canyon and and you know

  531. that's billions and billions if years old and you know, you can

  532. see all the what is that called? Those lines, those layers, what

  533. are they called? Anybody knows sediment?

  534. That's but those lines are called something that you can

  535. see and this is how they know how many years it is and how

  536. old. Same with the tree trunk.

  537. If you cut it, you can see the different rings in it tells you

  538. how old it is. This is what's happening to us

  539. as believers. It should be when we've been

  540. sitting up underneath the word for years and we've actually

  541. took it in and heated it. All those things that we've been

  542. doing is building those layers upon layers upon layers.

  543. So that why so that you have an arsenal of a belief system here

  544. that when something comes, it's not going to rock your world,

  545. It's not going to knock you off your foundation.

  546. It's not going to knock you off your rocker, so to speak,

  547. because your, your life has been built.

  548. It's been built. And we know we can see that in

  549. scripture because you know, he talked about that in Matthew

    Matthew 7 chapter mention

  550. Chapter 7. Go over there.

  551. Matthew Chapter 7 in verse 24 through 27 says this.

    Matthew 7 chapter mention

  552. Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and do

  553. with them, that's the key. Because just hearing alone, we

  554. know what James says. What happens?

  555. You deceive yourself. So many people sit and they

  556. hear. They don't take heed, and He

  557. lets us know this one that does. It will be likened unto Him, a

  558. wise man which built his house upon a rock, and when the rain

  559. descended and the floods came, because they will.

  560. No one is exempt from the floods, the rain, the wind, and

  561. the storms of life. No one, we all walk, are

  562. supposed to walk through them and come out on the other side.

  563. And so he says if your house has been built properly upon the

  564. rock, that when these rains come and these floods come and the

  565. winds blew and they build upon the house and it fell, what not?

  566. Your house should not be falling apart.

  567. Your marriage shouldn't be falling apart.

  568. Your children shouldn't be falling apart.

  569. Come on. Your finances shouldn't be

  570. filling, falling apart. Listen, attacks are going to

  571. come. Attacks are one thing.

  572. But if you're living in that, you have not built the structure

  573. properly. If you are living in it year

  574. after year after year, you've deceived yourself.

  575. And I'm afraid there's many that are deceived.

  576. You've not been a doer of the word.

  577. You have not been a person of faith.

  578. And that's just reality. And we have to listen in these

  579. last days. We have to take heed some of

  580. these things. We have to take heed some of it

  581. because I don't want to see people dropping like flies.

  582. And so verse 25 says this. And everyone that hears these

  583. sayings of mine and do with them not, will be likened unto a

  584. foolish man. And you know what he says about

  585. fools in the Scripture. We've been reading it time after

  586. time, all year long through Proverbs.

  587. Haven't we likened unto a foolish man where we at verse

  588. 426? And he said, And everyone that

  589. here at these sayings of mine does not do them, shall be

  590. likened to the foolish man which built his house upon the sand.

  591. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew

  592. and beat upon the house, and it fell, and listened to how it

  593. fell. It didn't just fall, great was

  594. its fall, didn't just fall, it was a great fall.

  595. You see that now? You know, I was thinking of, you

  596. know, I live out off of A1A and I just read an article which I

  597. drive by these houses every day. There's about 7 houses that have

  598. been condemned now along A1A, going out towards marine land.

  599. On the left hand side where the ocean is, there's seven houses

  600. that you can't even get to anymore.

  601. The old A1A used to run along there and they built the houses

  602. there. Well, they built wrong, didn't

  603. they? They're all condemned, just

  604. standing there. Big, old, huge houses just

  605. there, just rotten away because they didn't build wisely.

  606. And we need to recognize, have we really built our lives

  607. wisely, our lives wisely on the right foundation and the word of

  608. God? And have we done it?

  609. Or are we deceived that we think we've done it, but really we

  610. haven't? We haven't.

  611. Now look at here. We'll close with this one.

  612. Luke 17334 I've given you 4 take Heeds so far.

  613. So far, So far, so far, four. And how many did I say there

  614. were? We're not going to go through

  615. all 28, but I'm just saying there were 28.

  616. But I've I've given you 4 tonight and we're going to close

  617. with this one. Luke 17, three and four.

  618. Take heed to yourselves. Once again take heed.

  619. And what's it say if your brother trespasses against thee,

  620. rebuke him, and if he repent, forgiving.

  621. And if he trespasses against thee 7 times a day and seven

  622. times a day, turn again and say I repent.

  623. What should you do? You know, this is what we do

  624. usually with our kids. I was home with mine and having

  625. to raise them. I mean, you know, I could have

  626. forgiven them like 15,000 times a day.

  627. Well, didn't I tell you not to do that?

  628. Yeah, OK, well, don't do it. And then they do it again and

  629. you, what do you do? You basically are forgiving them

  630. again and again and again and again and again and again and

  631. again and again and again. And he's saying, listen, if if

  632. they ask you to forgive them, forgive them.
