  1. You know, as I've been praying for you guys and just asking the

  2. Lord what to share, I really feel like the Lord was just

  3. speaking to me about having obedient faith, having faith

  4. that obeys. Today I want to share with you

  5. in the word of God in Hebrews 11/8.

  6. But before I do that, you know this young generation that we're

  7. working with this, this generation that we work with is

  8. young adults, 18 to 30 years old.

  9. Every Friday night that we are meeting and ministering to this

  10. young generation. That's the age group that the

  11. Lord has mandated to us to work with.

  12. We don't have a church. We have fellowships that meet

  13. every Friday night where people aren't up in the clubs and doing

  14. stuff they're not supposed to do.

  15. But every Friday we have 4 campuses that are across Uganda

  16. that are meeting that have a full band.

  17. Then we have campus leaders that are ministering there and then

  18. we have fellowship with each one of them.

  19. But this campus, these campus students are a very, I would say

  20. extremely the, the campus students there, they'll do

  21. anything on a drop of a hat. And I don't know if you've heard

  22. of this thing on YouTube, it's called yes theory.

  23. But what these influencers will do is they will pick up someone

  24. and they'll take them and they'll stand at the airport and

  25. they'll say, Hey, pastor or so. And so you want to go on a date

  26. with this person, go all the way to Italy right on the stop drop,

  27. drop your hat, drop everything and come with me on this trip.

  28. And we have this generation that is fearless and they do things

  29. and they'll step out when things don't make sense.

  30. I'm talking to you about stepping out to do things when

  31. things don't make sense. Today the Bible says in Hebrews

  32. 11/8 it says by faith Abraham when called to go to a place he

  33. would later receive his inheritance, obeyed and he went

  34. even though he did not know where he was going.

  35. So here is Abraham, the first missionary ever sent out in the

  36. word of God. The man gets a word and he has a

  37. simple word to step out and to go somewhere where he doesn't

  38. even know where to go. Unknown, not known, unfamiliar,

  39. not identified. Stepping out of his own country.

  40. I wonder if someone today, the Lord is speaking to you about

  41. stepping out of your own country.

  42. Maybe stepping out of your own comfort zone.

  43. Maybe stuffing out of the stuff that's been normed to you, the

  44. things that's been familiar to you, the things that you know,

  45. the things of the surroundings that are normal and comfortable

  46. for you. What if the Lord shakes you a

  47. little bit and says it's time to step, to do something different?

  48. Maybe it's a nation, maybe it's a county, maybe it's a new job.

  49. Maybe it's opening a cell group, maybe it's taking on the worship

  50. team. What is it that the Lord is

  51. shaking you to step out to do? Many people will have to see

  52. things before they do and that's not the Bible kind of faith.

  53. Stepping out into the unknown by trusting Abraham obeyed after

  54. being called to go out to a place which God would give them

  55. as a possession. Indeed, he went out without

  56. knowing where he was going. God didn't even tell this man

  57. where to go. He just said go.

  58. My mother-in-law, Pastor Earl, she began to like pack all these

  59. boxes. I said, what are you doing?

  60. And at when she was living in Michigan, she began to just pack

  61. boxes. I said, where you going, Maggie?

  62. She says, I don't know, but I just been told I'm to go.

  63. So she just packing boxes, getting ready.

  64. Everyone say getting ready by faith, you see, in Ezekiel 2230,

  65. it says he looked for someone among them who would build up

  66. the walls and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so

  67. that I would not have to destroy it.

  68. But the Bible says that he found none.

  69. One of the saddest scriptures. In all scripture I need someone

  70. to stand in the gap and that will go for me.

  71. In Hebrews 10, Hebrews 11/8, it says by faith Abraham, when

  72. called to go to a place he would later receive his inheritance,

  73. obeyed even though he did not know where he was going.

  74. You see, Abraham was God's first missionary.

  75. This word means sent one. He is not sent by his own plan,

  76. his own purposes, what he wants to do.

  77. But the Lord said, listen, I'm calling you and I'm sending you

  78. to the nations. And I went to Raymond and I

  79. thought I would be a youth pastor.

  80. Go there and go back to Michigan and run this hip, cool youth

  81. ministry. And then the Lord began to speak

  82. to me about going to Africa. You see, Abraham was the first

  83. missionary. What is God telling you to

  84. pursue something that's maybe unknown in your life?

  85. In Genesis 12/1 it says. Then the Lord said to Abraham,

  86. go from your country, from your people, from your father's

  87. household to the land I will show you, and I will make you

  88. into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your

  89. name great, and you will be a blessing.

  90. And I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you, I

  91. will curse you, and all the people on earth will be blessed

  92. through you. Everyone say through you, it

  93. says that he was called out or he was a sent one.

  94. Maybe for you, you need to step out of a comfort zone.

  95. Maybe you need to step out of the current situation that

  96. you've been in because the Lord is leading you out into

  97. something different. In Romans 10/14 it says how can

  98. them that they call on the 1:00 they have not believed and how

  99. can they believe in the one whom they have not heard and how can

  100. they hear without someone preaching to them?

  101. Verse 15 says and how can the anyone preach unless they are

  102. sent That is it is written beautiful are the feet who bring

  103. good news. You see, we got to get out of

  104. our country. What are the things that maybe

  105. you need to get out of so that you can get into what are the

  106. things in your life that you need to get out of so that you

  107. can get into what God wants you to do with your life.

  108. You know, there's areas of our lives that were entrapped by the

  109. flesh and they feel good. But if God really told us to do

  110. something, could we do it or we bound or held back by those

  111. things, simple things. Oh, you have a car payment, You

  112. have a house payment. If God really called you to go,

  113. could you let go of that stuff to go do what God called you to

  114. do? And it's OK to have stuff.

  115. And I know Pastor preaches excellent with in how we're

  116. supposed to prosper, but we don't need things to keep us and

  117. to hold us from what the will of God is to do when we're called

  118. to go. And it might be called to go

  119. just to a county over. It might be called to go to a

  120. state over. But pastors going to be sending

  121. people out that this is a sending church, that we're not a

  122. holding church, but we're equipping people and we're

  123. sending you and we're getting you ready to go to the places

  124. and the highways and the byways that the Lord has for you so

  125. that you can make a impact and God can work through you.

  126. Amen. So we're not sitting down and

  127. just getting fatter and listening to other more messages

  128. and more messages and getting fat on the word and follow

  129. around Joyce Meyers again and again and again until we hear

  130. another message and say, well, that message didn't have enough

  131. revelation for me. Well, what are we doing with the

  132. revelation that the Lord has given to us?

  133. How are we using it? What are we doing with the

  134. mandate of the Lord has given to each one of us?

  135. Should we just preach this like we're in Africa?

  136. Amen. So my first point is we must

  137. have faith to obey. The first thing that Abraham had

  138. to have is he had to have faith to obey.

  139. I had to have faith to give me to Raima, had faith to leave

  140. Raima. There's still people living in

  141. Tulsa, OK. There's still people in Saint

  142. Augustine. There's still green seats.

  143. Well, Abraham still didn't know where he was going.

  144. He didn't know what God was up to.

  145. It doesn't tell him where to go, it just tells him to go.

  146. Do you have an ear to hear what God is saying enough to know

  147. when he's speaking to even get that revelation?

  148. There's so many things that are buying for our attention, and

  149. they're great things, but we've got to have an ear to hear what

  150. God is saying to do Hallelujah, obey.

  151. And he went, even though he did not know where he was going.

  152. Sometimes all we have is a word. All we have is a word that was

  153. spoken by God. The Lord told him to gather all

  154. of your belongings, gather your household, gather all of your

  155. workers, all your employees, get them together.

  156. Load up the the tractor, load up the animals, load up everything.

  157. Get ready to go. Where we going, boss?

  158. We don't know we're going. God always does the right thing,

  159. even if it seems absurd or it doesn't make sense.

  160. You know the Bible says to lean not to your own understanding.

  161. It doesn't lean not to your thinking.

  162. Don't lean to your way of thinking.

  163. Don't lean to what your mind says to do.

  164. Lean to into what the Holy Ghost is saying to do.

  165. And I didn't even know where Africa was on the map.

  166. I mean, I knew Africa, but I didn't know where Uganda was.

  167. We were in South Africa serving and doing things, and then we

  168. felt like our time was off. I had to look on the map, where

  169. is Uganda? And my wife grew up in Kenya.

  170. I thought we'd go back to Kenya. We went to Zambia to visit the

  171. Sures, thought maybe it'd be Zambia.

  172. We went to Botswana. Wasn't that?

  173. And then the Lord says that Uganda is the place God always

  174. does the right scene thing when it seems absurd.

  175. Abraham got a single word. He did not get a paragraph.

  176. He didn't get a chapter. He didn't get a book.

  177. He didn't have to know the whole revelation.

  178. Well, what about this or how much about this, or what do I

  179. got to do to do this or what about that?

  180. No, he stepped out on a word. Hallelujah.

  181. The second thing I want to share with you is what you do first

  182. determines what God does next. We don't get to 2nd grade until

  183. you pass first grade, right? I had these new shoes given to

  184. me. Pastor Earl sent in all the way

  185. from America. I mean, we only can go to the

  186. resale shops there and, and, and buy used stuff.

  187. So I had these new shoes sent next to me and I was like, Lord,

  188. these are nice. Lord told me right when I'm

  189. opening the box, give those away to someone.

  190. Amen. What he says first will

  191. determine what he says next. It meant if you can't give away

  192. your shoes, how you going to get to the nations?

  193. What you do first determines what he does next.

  194. He said, get out, don't stay. Then I'll show up.

  195. Genesis 12, seven says then the Lord appeared to Abraham and

  196. said, I will give you the land to all your descendants.

  197. Now he's beginning to give him a little bit more revelation

  198. because Abraham took that first step.

  199. Now he's like, listen, I'm going to give you some land.

  200. Let me try this side. I'm going to give you some land.

  201. Who needs some land? Maybe Hallelujah, a land of our

  202. own, a place. But if you can't give that extra

  203. $50 away, you can't sew into the missions, you can't open the

  204. cell group. You can't do the little thing.

  205. If you don't do what's first, you can't get to 2nd.

  206. The guy didn't even know where he was going.

  207. He's just loading up his his camels and all of his donkeys,

  208. everything. He's heading out.

  209. Me and Angela went to Africa with two bags of luggage each.

  210. That's it. Being obedient to do the will of

  211. God, Amen. And I know that you want to do

  212. the will of God as well, Amen. And you will fulfill that.

  213. You know, we had this girl Tracy, that's in our ministry.

  214. She came up to the to the front of the church and she's waiting

  215. for pastor to give her this big revelation in his word because

  216. she's like, I need some tuition, pastor and I haven't been able

  217. to meet my school fees and pay for my college.

  218. And, and I said, well, what do you have, Tracy?

  219. And she basically had 2000 shillings.

  220. It's probably about $3 at the time.

  221. And I said, you need to sow that seed.

  222. So she waited till yesterday or the next day and then she went

  223. to school and she found someone to, to give that person just a

  224. little bit of chapati, as we call it, or flat bread.

  225. And she bought him a nice little lunch.

  226. She said, pastor at the evening someone called me a member of

  227. Parliament and they paid for all my college tuition.

  228. Let me all of her college tuition was paid for because she

  229. bought a piece of flatbread. She bought a little chapati for

  230. someone, a Panera Bread, Hallelujah.

  231. She was able to sow a seed and do something out of obedience.

  232. I wonder what the Lord is asking you to do and to be obedient

  233. with. Are you holding on to that 100

  234. so tight? Are you holding on to that

  235. thousand so tight? Are you holding on to that house

  236. when you're supposed to sew it? How many of you have sewed cars

  237. before? I've sewn a couple cars before

  238. just giving away cars. Hallelujah.

  239. We want to get to a place. Pastor was encouraging me.

  240. We're getting to a place where where with Jairus, he was saying

  241. it's, it's not about that him, it's about the servant, right?

  242. What you do first determines what God does. 2nd.

  243. After he does the first instructions, then you'll get

  244. the next step and you're like, well, Lord, I don't know.

  245. I don't know what what's the will of God or and you're

  246. praying and you're praying about stuff, but you haven't done what

  247. he told you to do. You haven't opened that that

  248. that cell group. You haven't taken that job that

  249. you were supposed to take because you're doing what you

  250. want to do. You put in the flesh first.

  251. The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak, Amen.

  252. And we've got to push down some things, Amen.

  253. It's not about your comfort, it's about your obedience.

  254. And, and America is all about our comfort.

  255. And I love it when we come. But when Uganda, when we're

  256. there and the power is going out and the electricity is not

  257. working and the water is broken and, and, and the water is not

  258. running, you haven't showered in a month and traffic's coming at

  259. you sideways because the third world country, it's not easy.

  260. But it's not about me, it's about the nation.

  261. After he does the first instructions, he gets a second.

  262. He does not give the 2nd until he fulfills everyone.

  263. Say, fulfill, Say what has he spoken to me about?

  264. Say what has he spoken to me about?

  265. What is he speaking to you about doing?

  266. Are we in the motions? We come in, go out, come in.

  267. Are we in the motions? Are we doing the will of God?

  268. I don't want to come to be this her pastor.

  269. Most people want to understand everything.

  270. They want to see the complete end and not walk by faith, not

  271. step out, not take the first step.

  272. If you could see it, touched it and feel it.

  273. And pastors teaches you this, that's not faith, right?

  274. If you want to feel your healing before you're healed, that's not

  275. how it works. We stand and we rejoice even in

  276. the midst of how our body feels like, Amen.

  277. No matter what our circumstance looks like, no matter what we're

  278. going through, we stand in front of it and we, we rejoice, Amen,

  279. Because we know it's done. You know, one of our girls, her

  280. name was Agnes. She started with us in the

  281. ministry and she was going into the schools and reaching a

  282. thousands of students with us. She was teaching about 100 every

  283. every three days and teaching the purity program and doing an

  284. amazing job at it. And then pastor, she was

  285. faithful over the little and she came to me at the end of her

  286. school year after university said, I, pastor, I think I'm

  287. going to have to quit, you know, I need an internship.

  288. And I said, no, no, no, let's wait and see what the Lord does.

  289. Amen. We began to pray together and

  290. there was this couple from California that was out in

  291. Uganda making these sandals that kind of wrap around your ankle

  292. like gladiators. And I knew as soon as I released

  293. Agnes to them, she was gonna probably be gone forever.

  294. And then 'cause she was one of our great leaders, but she began

  295. to be faithful over those few steps and, and she would.

  296. Do you know, some people, Pastor, I'm sure you experienced

  297. that. Some listen and don't, some

  298. don't. Amen.

  299. But everything that I would share with her to do, she would

  300. do. And her life just got so

  301. blessed. Now she's the CEO of this

  302. company and and overseeing all these sandals in Uganda and

  303. connected with the president. She spoke at Willow Creek in

  304. front of 5000 people at the at the conference there.

  305. These sandals are in Macy's and Nordstroms.

  306. But God did it through the faithfulness of obeying the

  307. number one word right of doing what is right for the first

  308. thing Hebrews 4/2 it says unto us was the gospel preached as

  309. well as unto them, but the but the word preached did not profit

  310. them not being mixed. Everyone say mixed with faith in

  311. them that they heard it. You see, you got to mix it.

  312. You got to what you hear. You got to step out to do what

  313. God told you to do Amen. Amen.

  314. Everyone say that's me, that's me.

  315. He did not just say he did not stay in his prayer closet.

  316. The in Uganda, they do these things, they're called

  317. overnighters that you stay in the church all night long and

  318. just Hyundai, Hyundai it all night long and you pray and I'm

  319. like, you need to get out and get a job, bro, not be in the

  320. church all night. Amen.

  321. So we're just not staying in our prayer closet.

  322. No, he had to obey Abraham's like, no, no, I got to pray this

  323. one out. I got to spend some time in

  324. prayer. I got to intercede.

  325. I got to see if no, the man began to step out and do He

  326. mixed it with faith. Everyone say mix.

  327. You see, most people don't like to be out on the edge because it

  328. scares them. They're in fear.

  329. If I told you God called you to go to Africa, you would look at

  330. me. What that that you got the wrong

  331. man because of fear. But when we walk by faith, we're

  332. not in fear, Amen. Because we're of a different

  333. spirit. Amen.

  334. You know, some people get nervous because of the they've

  335. never experienced something before it.

  336. You know, they've never done this before.

  337. Are you with me today? You know, I always told my my

  338. daughters, just do what I say, Amen.

  339. I'm sure you're teenagers might be the same way.

  340. But Alexis, just do what I say. Just do what your father says

  341. and you'll eat the benefits. You'll reap the benefits.

  342. If you're willing and obedient, you'll eat the good of the land.

  343. Amen. Just do what your father says.

  344. What is he asking you to do first so that you can get to the

  345. second thing? Matthew 1929 It says in everyone

  346. who has left house, brothers or sisters, father and mother or

  347. wife or children or fields, for my sake will receive 100 times

  348. as much and will inherit eternal life.

  349. Amen. Because you stepped out to do

  350. the will of God, you push down the desires of your own to do

  351. your Heavenly Father's will, whatever that might be.

  352. And not everyone is called to be a missionary, but you're called

  353. to be obedient. He's not called you to comfort,

  354. He's called you to obedience. Amen.

  355. The third thing that we can see through Scripture, verse 2, it

  356. says I will make you into a great nation and I will bless

  357. you. I will make your name great and

  358. you will be a blessing. You see, God wants to make you.

  359. He wants to make you into what He's called you to do.

  360. When we went to Africa, we didn't know what we're doing,

  361. but God is making us. He's refining us into what He

  362. wants us to be and He's still making us say, you see, God

  363. doesn't call these that are qualified, but He qualifies the

  364. people that He calls. Let me say that again for you.

  365. God doesn't call these that are qualified, but He qualifies the

  366. people that are called. He's making you in first

  367. Corinthians 127 says, but God has chosen the foolish things of

  368. the world to put to shame the wise, and God chose has chosen

  369. the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which

  370. are mighty. You see, He's making you.

  371. You don't have to have it all together.

  372. All you have to do is be obedient to do what he's called

  373. to you to do every step. Hallelujah.

  374. We had this guy that was he just got born again in our ministry

  375. and he said, pastor, I don't know any scriptures.

  376. I said, that's fine. You can just come and pass out

  377. hot dogs, Amen. Jesus learned through the things

  378. that we suffered, right, serving in the Kingdom of God.

  379. Everyone say serving, serving is what refines us, Amen.

  380. Every part of this church you should be involved in serving in

  381. some capacity. That should maybe your first

  382. step, that's maybe kindergarten for you, is to join the Archer

  383. team. Hallelujah.

  384. It's not about us, guys. If I can go all the way to

  385. Africa, you can put on that blacks, that black, black, black

  386. shirt, right? God picks the foolish things to

  387. be Kingdom builders. We had this guy Pastor, his name

  388. is Easton and he was a part of our team for a little bit and we

  389. usually celebrate everyone's birthday.

  390. So we got him a birthday cake at staff meeting.

  391. We began to put it in front of him and he began to weep

  392. profusely. How old was he?

  393. Like 20-3 years old, 22 years old and he's like Easton, what

  394. is going on? What's your problem?

  395. He said, this is the 1st birthday cake that I ever

  396. received. Pastor, you don't know, but I've

  397. been, I'm an orphan and I'm sleeping in the closet at the

  398. church. We're talking about God using

  399. the foolish things. And now he's our camera guy.

  400. And now he's working with graphics and, and now God is

  401. shifting his life around because he's able to step into the

  402. things that he's supposed to do for the kingdom's sake.

  403. He made us into missionaries. You see, there's a lot of

  404. believers, but there's not a lot of disciples that will go.

  405. I wonder what God is asking you. I wonder what sector God is

  406. asking you to be a part of. I wonder where He's calling you

  407. to go today or to get into or get out of.

  408. And Isaiah 6-8 it says, then I heard the voice of the Lord

  409. saying, whom shall I send and who will go for us?

  410. And I said, here am I send me. The next thing that we can see

  411. about Abraham. Our fourth point for you today

  412. is that he lived on a promise. Hebrews 11/9 says by faith he

  413. made his home in the promised land.

  414. Like a stranger in a foreign country.

  415. He lived in tents and as Isaac and Jacob to heirs of him of the

  416. same promise. Everyone say he was living on a

  417. promise. Do you see the word of God that

  418. I am living on to be in Uganda is the word of God that he spoke

  419. to me to go to Uganda, the word of God and it said Matt and

  420. Angela, I Commission you, I tell you, I ordain you, I send you to

  421. go to the nations and I open up Uganda for you.

  422. I am living on a word. I am standing on a spoken word

  423. that was spoken to me when my kids have malaria, when I'm my

  424. my house is robbed, when my car is damaged, when motorcycles,

  425. they steal the whole sound system.

  426. I am living on a word that was spoken to me to be in Uganda.

  427. I wonder what word you've been living on for 21 years.

  428. Or you get in a bigger boat, or you redo it in your kitchen for

  429. the third time. You got your benzo now, and

  430. those are cool things. What word are you living on?

  431. Abraham was living on a single word to go Hallelujah.

  432. Stretch forth your faith, my people.

  433. He wants to bless you, but we have to be obedient to live upon

  434. His Word. Amen.

  435. Genesis 12/2 it says I will make you into a great nation and I

  436. will bless you and I will make you into a great nation and you

  437. will be a blessing. You see, you're to be a blessing

  438. for someone else. You're blessed and you step out

  439. for someone else. Thousands of kids, I can't

  440. believe it, have been blessed through us because of my small

  441. obedience to go to Uganda from Rhema.

  442. We had this guy named Nicholas Pastor in our ministry and he,

  443. he, I didn't know, but Nicholas was walking 30 minutes to get to

  444. our discipleship classes. He said I was chasing after you

  445. because you are a Bazoomgu, a white guy.

  446. They say because you're white. I thought you were rich.

  447. You give me money, but you gave us so much more.

  448. You gave us the word of God. So then Nicholas, after he went

  449. through our discipleship class, he went back to the village

  450. about 6 hours away where you can't even see your hand in

  451. front of your face at night, it's so dark.

  452. And he's like, I'm going to put a school there.

  453. There's no schools there. And he built a school out of cow

  454. dung and thatch with thatch roof, cow dung and bricks.

  455. He put it together. He has 100 students in it, in

  456. the middle of the woods in Nowhereville.

  457. And then because he did that, he stepped out.

  458. There was another school that was started living on a word.

  459. I wonder what the word is that He spoke to you to do.

  460. Is this speaking to anybody? The next thing that He says #5

  461. One of my last points for you says I will bless you.

  462. You see, God is in the blessing business, Amen.

  463. Genesis 12/2 it says, I will bless you and I will make your

  464. name great and you will be a blessing.

  465. Hebrews 1035 it says and but my righteous one will live by

  466. faith, and I take no pleasure in one who shrinks back.

  467. He's going to bless you when you don't shrink back.

  468. That David ran to Goliath. God makes His promise good where

  469. He is, not what not where you want to be.

  470. But He makes His promise good where He wants to be, where He

  471. commanded you to go. Are you with me today?

  472. He makes His promise good where you're supposed to be, not where

  473. you are. You see, when I throw the

  474. football and I get ready to throw a touchdown, I'm not

  475. throwing it to the receiver where he is.

  476. I'm throwing it to where He's going to be and when he hits

  477. that intended spot, he's going to catch that.

  478. And many of you aren't living in the blessing is because you're

  479. not at the place called there. He has a place that's called

  480. there for you where he wants you to be and that you will live a

  481. blessed life if you get there. God makes his promise good.

  482. He'll make his provision good there too.

  483. And God is supplying and we've been able to only be in Uganda

  484. 21 years is because God's faithfulness and that's his will

  485. of God for his life. Every time I come back to

  486. America, Lord, I ask Pastor Earl, is that Lord, am I gonna

  487. get to go back 'cause I can't do it on my own.

  488. I can't go there in my own flesh.

  489. I can't even live a day there without the, the anointing and

  490. the, the grace of God upon my life.

  491. It's dangerous people to, to be out of the will of God.

  492. It's dangerous when you're not in the place that God has called

  493. you to be. Sometimes we have to pray and

  494. say, Lord, is this even the vacation that we're supposed to

  495. do? And we one time we went up and

  496. people kicked in our doors and stole everything 'cause it

  497. wasn't where we're supposed to be.

  498. We thought, well, that's the enemy.

  499. Yes, it's the enemy, but He gives us wisdom to be in the

  500. right place at the right time, intersecting the blessings of

  501. God, and He wants to bless you. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  502. Am I speaking to some people? Some of you are not experiencing

  503. supernatural provision because you're not at the place called

  504. the unknown. I never thought that I would be

  505. in Uganda, but we're obedient to do the will of God, and I will

  506. make you into a great nation and I will bless you.

  507. If Abraham would have stayed there, he could have prayed, he

  508. could have begged, he could have asked the Lord, he could have

  509. threw ashes up. He could have done this over and

  510. over again and he could have. But that was the place he could

  511. have remained because each one of us have a free will.

  512. I didn't make my wife come down the altar.

  513. It meant she has a free will, and you have a free will to

  514. either say yes or no to whatever the instructions are that God is

  515. instructing you to do. Amen.

  516. You know, we have this guy named Franklin that's a part of our

  517. ministry. And, you know, he was going to

  518. medical school at the time and he was playing drums for us.

  519. And he, he kept on trying to get to Australia.

  520. And I said, Franklin, I really don't feel like you're supposed

  521. to go to Australia as his oversight.

  522. And I was like, just stay here in Uganda.

  523. Everyone wants to go to America, wants to go to Australia, wants

  524. to go to England, going to get to the place.

  525. The green is not always, the grass is not always green,

  526. right? I said, you just stay.

  527. And he began to stay and study for two years and three years.

  528. And the Lord gave him this open vision.

  529. He was able to buy land to put a hospital now and he built a

  530. hospital there in Uganda. He said, Pastor, I'm going to

  531. build a hospital where where the women can't.

  532. They have no place to deliver babies and they're dying.

  533. I'm going to put a hospital in the middle of nowhere.

  534. Franklin began to build that hospital.

  535. We had some friends come over from San Antonio.

  536. They built a hospital in another area of Toro in the north.

  537. And they said, you know, we need someone good to help us.

  538. And Franklin began to help them and began to get them medicine

  539. and doctors and facilities and stuff.

  540. And they, they had to go back after six years and that what

  541. did they do? They turned over the hospital to

  542. Franklin. He's got 2 hospitals now.

  543. Amen. Being obedient to sow into one

  544. man over and over and over again that we are pouring into

  545. Franklin's life, Amen. Now he's reaching hundreds and

  546. thousands of people in Jerusalem, Judea, the uttermost

  547. parts, Amen. I'm not in the uttermost parts.

  548. I'm right in the city ministering to the campus

  549. students who are then reaching the Bush.

  550. You see the powers in the little, the small things, the

  551. one soul, the one person that you're supposed to bring along

  552. and disciple. The one person that you're

  553. supposed to baptize in the Holy Ghost that you haven't stepped

  554. out to do. The one person that you're

  555. supposed to invite to church. The one person that you're

  556. supposed to walk through that book with one soul at a time.

  557. Amen. God made a promise to Abraham

  558. and he's living on a promise. Amen.

  559. The last thing I want to share with you today is the most

  560. powerful thing that I could see about this scripture that I read

  561. with you is basically that Abraham went in a family and he

  562. came out a nation. Hear me today, Abraham went in a

  563. family and came out a nation because of his obedience to do

  564. the will of God. He went in with four or two kids

  565. and a wife. He went in and then thousands of

  566. students are being impacted. What did Abraham, What was it

  567. the Lord told him? Look up to the sky.

  568. As many as the stars that you can see will be your descendants

  569. because of your obedience not to stay, but to go where I've

  570. commanded you to go. You're going to come out a

  571. nation who's ready to to change Saint Augustine, who's ready to

  572. change this area, who's ready to see something happen in this

  573. city Because of your obedience, Hallelujah, because of your

  574. obedience. Because of your obedience,

  575. thousands of people can be impacted.

  576. It's not about you.
