  1. I want to talk to you about Kingdom expansion keys to

  2. increase tonight. So I want you to.

  3. We're going to. We got 4 openings, so stay with

  4. me. We got First Chronicles chapter

    1 Chronicles 29 chapter mention

  5. 29. I'm gonna read 24 verses from

  6. that. And then we're gonna go to 1st

  7. Corinthians chapter 3 verse #16 Then we're gonna go to 1st

  8. Corinthians chapter 6, verses 19 through 20.

  9. And then we're gonna finish with our key text in First Peter

    1 Peter 2 chapter mention

  10. chapter 2, verse #5 So it's important that you, as I read

  11. it, that you fall along with me with your eyeballs.

  12. Alright? So find First Chronicles chapter

    1 Chronicles 29 chapter mention

  13. 29. And we're going to start in

  14. verse #1 this is the life of David.

  15. As I'm bringing up these verses, I just want you to keep in mind

  16. the temple, the people, and the resources to build it.

  17. OK? So keep in mind the temple, the

  18. people and the resources to build it.

  19. So starting to verse number one of First Chronicles chapter 29

    1 Chronicles 29 chapter mention

  20. and I'll repeat the other Scriptures as we get to these

  21. next three after this one, it says, furthermore, King David

  22. said to all the assembly, my son Solomon, whom alone God has

  23. chosen is young and inexperienced and the work is

  24. great because the temple is not for man, but for the Lord God.

  25. Now for the House of my God, I have prepared with all of my

  26. might gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of

  27. silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of

  28. ironwood for things of wood, Onyx stones, stones to be set,

  29. glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious

  30. stones and marble slabs in abundance.

  31. Moreover, because I have set my affection on the House of my

  32. God, I have given, I have given to the House of my God.

  33. Over and above all that I have prepared for the Holy House my

  34. own special treasure of gold and silver. 3000 talents of gold of

  35. the gold of Fr, and 7000 talents of refined silver to overlay the

  36. walls of the houses, the gold for things of gold, the silver

  37. for things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be done for

  38. the hands of Craftsman. Who then is willing?

  39. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to

  40. the Lord? Then the leaders of the Father's

  41. house, as leaders of the tribes of Israel, the captains of

  42. thousands and of hundreds, with the officer over the King's

  43. work, offered willingly. They gave for the work of the

  44. House of God 5000 talents and 10,000 derricks of gold, 10,000

  45. talents of silver, 18,000 talents of bronze, and one

  46. 100,000 towns of iron went, and whoever had precious stones gave

  47. them to the treasury of the House of the Lord, into the hand

  48. of jail. The Jesuit.

  49. Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly,

  50. because with a loyal heart they all had offered willingly to the

  51. to the Lord. And King David also rejoiced

  52. greatly. Verse #10 Therefore David bless

  53. the Lord before all the assembly.

  54. And David said, Be blessed. Are you Lord God of Israel, our

  55. Father, forever and ever? Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,

  56. the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty for all

  57. that is in heaven and all in earth.

  58. Is yours. Yours is the Kingdom, O Lord,

  59. and you are exalted as head over all.

  60. Both riches and honor come from you.

  61. You reign over all. In your hand is power and might.

  62. In Your hand it is make, it is made great, and to give strength

  63. to all. Now therefore, our God, we thank

  64. you, and we praise you, and we glorify your name.

  65. Who am I and who are my people, that we should be able to offer

  66. so willingly as this. For all things come from You,

  67. and of your own we have given you.

  68. For we are aliens and pilgrims before you, as we are, as as

  69. were all of our fathers. Our days on earth are a shadow

  70. and without hope. Oh Lord our God, all this

  71. abundance that we have prepared to build you a house.

  72. For your holy name is from your hand, and it's all your own.

  73. I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have have

  74. pleasure and uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of

  75. my heart, I have willingly offered all these things, and

  76. now with joy I have seen your people who are present here to

  77. offer willingly to you. Oh Lord God of Abraham, Isaac

  78. and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of

  79. the thoughts of the heart of your people and fix their heart.

  80. Fix their heart toward You, and give my son Solomon a loyal

  81. heart to keep your commandments and your testimony and your

  82. statues, to do all these things and to build the temple for

  83. which I have made provision. Then David said to all the

  84. assembly, now bless the Lord your God.

  85. So all the assembly bless the Lord, the God of their fathers,

  86. bow their heads and prostrated themselves before the Lord and

  87. the King. And they made sacrifices to the

  88. Lord and offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the next day.

  89. 1000 bulls, 1000 Rams, 1000 lambs and their drink offerings

  90. and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

  91. They so they ate and drank before the Lord with great

  92. gladness on that day. And they made Solomon the son of

  93. David king the second time, anointed him before the the Lord

  94. to be the leader and Zadok. To be the priest.

  95. Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of

  96. David his father, and prospered, and all Israel obeyed him, and

  97. all the leaders and the mighty men, and also the sons of King

  98. David submitting themselves to King Solomon.

  99. Now we're going to flip over to the New Testament First

    1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  100. Corinthians chapter 3 verse #16 it says, do you not know that

  101. you are the temple of God and the the Spirit of God dwells in

  102. you? Now a couple chapters after this

  103. in in chapter 6, Paul says this First Corinthians chapter 6

    1 Corinthians 6:19–20

  104. verses 19 through 20 says, or do you not know that your body is

  105. the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have

  106. from God, and you are not your own, For you were bought at a

  107. price. Therefore glorify God in your

  108. body and in your spirit, which are gods.

  109. And then first Peter chapter 2 verse #5 says, and now you have

    1 Peter 2 chapter mention

  110. become a living building stones for God's use in building his

  111. house. What's more, you are his holy

  112. priest. So come to him.

  113. You are acceptable to him because of Jesus Christ and

  114. offer to God those things that please Him, the temple, the

  115. people, and the resources God used to build it.

  116. God cares about you. God cares about His church, His

  117. temple, and God desires to build both.

  118. As we grow, so does His Church grow.

  119. As we expand, so does His church expand.

  120. David didn't start with everything in the bank.

  121. The reason I brought up First Chronicles 29 'cause you got to

  122. trace back how David started and then you need to reminisce of

  123. where you started and where God wants to bring you.

  124. But as you grow, guess what? The church will.

  125. Grow. 'Cause you are the temple, but

  126. God's also building a temple, his church.

  127. Jesus said, I will build my church in the gates of hell

  128. shall not prevail against it, right in First Samuel chapter 16

    1 Samuel 16 chapter mention

  129. verse #13 we see that King David is anointed at that time by

  130. Samuel in First Samuel chapter 17.

    1 Samuel 17 chapter mention

  131. Just giving you a quick overview of the life of.

  132. David And listen, he was just a teenager.

  133. You could say he didn't have a dime to his name, so to speak,

  134. right? And but he was anointed.

  135. He had a call on his life just like God.

  136. When you make Jesus Lord, guess what?

  137. He has a call on your life. He has a purpose for your life

  138. and it's up to you to cooperate and participate with him.

  139. If you're going to, if the church is going to grow, you're

  140. going to have to grow. Turn your neighbor and say grow

  141. up. Turn the other one on the other

  142. side and say grow up. Now look straight ahead and say

  143. grow up. So in First Samuel chapter 18

    1 Samuel 18 chapter mention

  144. through 21, we see just a a conflict with leadership, a

  145. relationship with Jonathan. As David goes through First

  146. Samuel 17, let me back up. There's a community problem.

  147. Called Goliath and guess what? God's called us to solve

  148. community problems, but you can only perform in public to the

  149. degree you're willing to practice in private.

  150. And we see that David, we practice in private and he kept

  151. the predators away from the sheep that he was responsible

  152. for. His brothers despised the day of

  153. small beginnings. When he came in, First Samuel 17

  154. said. Why don't you take care of those

  155. few little sheep, that Dad? Left for you.

  156. Well, he that is faithful and a little be faithful with much.

  157. And David learned in private how to take on the lion, right?

  158. And so when the community problem come, it was time for

  159. public performance. Guess what?

  160. King David was anointed. And guess what?

  161. He didn't try what other people tried.

  162. He tried what he knew worked because he practiced in private

  163. and therefore he could perform in public.

  164. That's why he took the slingshot and the stone, because he knew

  165. by the grace of God that would work.

  166. And he took care of the community problem.

  167. Goliath. And then in First Samuel chapter

    1 Samuel 18 chapter mention

  168. 18, we see him still called. But there's a process that you

  169. go through to grow. Say there's a process.

  170. To grow. And so we see he develops his

  171. relationship with Jonathan. But Saul becomes increasingly

  172. jealous towards David. David goes on the run and seems

  173. like all hell is breaking out. But but listen, your life is

  174. composed of your choices, constructed by your words and

  175. revealed by your character. And David made the right

  176. choices, said the right words, and had the right character to

  177. grow. And if you want to be a real man

  178. or woman of God, you need to have the right words, you need

  179. to make the right choices, and you got to develop the right

  180. character if you want to do all that God's called you to do in

  181. this life. Could it be decades down the

  182. road that God has grown you so much that we, we are like King

  183. David and his leaders where we can give abundantly to the work

  184. of the Lord 'cause you know, it takes resources.

  185. The gospel is free, but it takes resources to get that word out.

  186. Pastor Earl's books cost money to produce, right?

  187. Curriculum is on paper. We have print machines.

  188. We have 3 printer machines. Praise the Lord, we have

  189. expanded as a ministry. There's a time when we had one

  190. printer machine. Let me even expand on that

  191. expansion. We have two printer machines and

  192. one production machine. It's really long and not many

  193. people see it except for Todd Fouchet.

  194. And my wife always knows when it's production day 'cause it

  195. gets really cold in those back offices because he doesn't want

  196. the machine to get too hot. And then I I'm jumping ahead of

  197. my sermon on the management side.

  198. I'm like, why are the little heaters running for Miss Jan and

  199. my wife and the ACS We're, we're like contradiction our, our

  200. energy budget going on right now.

  201. So I had this brilliant idea. I've seen Reverend Randy with a

  202. coat that he can turn on the heater.

  203. And I thought we could save the ministry some money if I just

  204. bought these electric coats and gave them to Jan and my wife.

  205. And Hallelujah, you could say Amen or me.

  206. We'll get to finances more in just a second.

  207. But yeah, we've expanded and it takes, guess what?

  208. It takes money to pay for those printers.

  209. But guess what's being produced? Do you know we've went from

  210. ordering in him the new birth and wide tongues to produce in

  211. our own material that we print in house now.

  212. I'm just giving you a little taste of it.

  213. It does take money to get the gospel out, even though the

  214. gospel's free, right? Guess who we support every month

  215. in missions? We got about 28, I think,

  216. different missionaries. And listen, I this is say this

  217. is not to make me feel bad. Everybody say this is not to

  218. make me feel bad. We give more than comes in out

  219. of our general operating budget. And that's not to put pressure

  220. on you, 'cause God's faithful. But I'm saying, you know, we

  221. give out more than comes in, but that's an investment and God

  222. sees that. And we've been able to sustain

  223. that. Hallelujah.

  224. And God's been able to increase this 'cause we got one.

  225. Two printers and a production machine now.

  226. Hallelujah. Just one example.

  227. Of that so but in first Samuel chapter 22 if your life's only

    1 Samuel 22 chapter mention

  228. about you it's too small and so in first Samuel 22 is David's

  229. called and God wants to grow him build his temple.

  230. He's going to use David Guess what guess what God assigns to

  231. David in The Cave of Adulum men, disciples, people.

  232. Now these were not perfect people when they started out.

  233. First Samuel chapter 22, if you read the account, when these men

    1 Samuel 22 chapter mention

  234. came to him in The Cave of Adulum, it says these men had

  235. three qualities and what a way to start a church.

  236. They were distressed, they were in debt and they were

  237. discontent. Lord, I want to start a church.

  238. Please send me the distress to the people that are in debt and

  239. discontent. Hallelujah.

  240. That means they they were in anguish, they were bitter of

  241. soul, they had no money. But guess what?

  242. They didn't stay that way because they got into a cave

  243. with a giant killer and they became giant killers.

  244. If you could track the story from the time this First Samuel

  245. 22 happens of Second Samuel chapter 23 verses 8 through 39,

    2 Samuel 23:8–39

  246. you'll see that these men went from distressed and debt and

  247. discontent to be labeled. They were labeled mighty men.

  248. And in Second Samuel 23, not only, you know, the works of

  249. King David, you get to see the lives of these men and the

  250. exploits that they did, but you're on display right now in

  251. 2025. What does God want to do through

  252. you and what exploits does he want to get glory to his name

  253. through you? So they those that were

  254. distressed and debt and discontent, guess guess what,

  255. They became mighty men that that means they became strong, brave,

  256. courageous and champions. But that was a process.

  257. You realize they had to learn how to fight, how to lean in on

  258. God, understand his grace and his goodness.

  259. And they went through some battles, but they got better.

  260. And the Bible tells us to fight the good fight of faith.

  261. Listen, we need a, you need a, a crowbar for your backbone, not a

  262. spaghetti noodle. To be a real man or woman of God

  263. and be a champion, it takes conviction, it takes commitment.

  264. And I like First First Chronicles 29 because guess

  265. what? It wasn't just David that gave.

  266. It's these men that came alongside that grew with him as

  267. he grew. And the Bible says they had so

  268. much resource, they all willingly gave.

  269. Why? Because of the temple.

  270. God wanted to see his word complete.

  271. God wants to see His Word complete and you as the temple,

  272. so He wants to bless your household.

  273. But as your household is blessed, guess what?

  274. The church should be blessed. So these men gave willingly in

  275. First Corinthians 21st Chronicles 29.

  276. Let's look at 2nd Corinthians Chapter 9, verses 6 through 8.

  277. In the Amplified Bible it says, Now remember this, He who sows

  278. sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sews

  279. generously that blessings may come to others will also reap

  280. generously and be blessed. Let each one give thoughtfully

  281. and with purpose, just as he has decided in his heart, not

  282. grudgingly or under compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver,

  283. and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift.

  284. And God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly

  285. blessing come in abundance to you, that you may always, under

  286. all circumstances, regardless of the need, have complete

  287. sufficiency, and everything, being completely self-sufficient

  288. in Him, and have an abundance for every good work and act of

  289. charity. Sounds like First Chronicles 29

  290. to me. These men and I'll say women

  291. knew how to go into the equivalent, the we call, I'll

  292. call it the marketplace in the new covenant.

  293. They knew how to go into the war in the old covenant and get the

  294. spoils and bring it back so the temple could be built.

  295. John 1412 says this most assuredly.

  296. I say to you who who believes in me?

  297. The works that I do, He will do also in greater works than these

  298. He will do because I go to my Father.

  299. God has called His church to do greater works.

  300. King David and his mighty men did some great works, but He's

  301. called us to do great works. Say I'm built to do great works.

  302. Say God built me to do great things.

  303. I want to give you 4 ES, the Golden Corral.

  304. Then we're going to jump into the message.

  305. Just a thought and they'll have this up.

  306. Engaged, employed, enlarged, and evangelize.

  307. It's a process. What is engagement?

  308. That means you're greatly interested.

  309. That means you're actively involved.

  310. That means you're participating. Guess what?

  311. When you meet that someone and you start going on dates and

  312. then all of a sudden you're really actively participating

  313. and you decide she's the one, what do you do?

  314. You get engaged, right? But then you get after that, you

  315. get married. So after you're after

  316. exploration and engagement, now you're employed.

  317. That means you have purpose, that means you're useful, that

  318. means you're occupied with what God has called you to do your

  319. assignments in life. I went from engaged through

  320. exploration to man I employed. I'm all in and I am they.

  321. God has put me to work. And you know the first thing

  322. that God put me to work as is a man.

  323. And for you ladies, as a woman. And then if you're married as a

  324. husband, ladies, if you're married as a wife and then he's

  325. put you to work as a parent, then he may have put you to work

  326. in, in other areas, whether you're called a full time

  327. ministry business, working for somebody else.

  328. We're getting some of these other things soon.

  329. But that's employment. And you will know what it says

  330. in Luke chapter 1913. Luke 1913 says he called his 10

  331. servants, He delivered them 10 lbs.

  332. And he said unto them, occupy or be employed till I come.

  333. Occupy means to work until everything feels the impact and

  334. influence of your presence. Occupy means to work until

  335. everything feels the impact and influence of your presence.

  336. If you're married and your husband and you leave the house

  337. in the morning, your wife should be like something's missing.

  338. She shouldn't rejoice Hallelujah.

  339. Just look straight ahead if you're we're on the other end.

  340. If you're if the man's home and the wife comes home, the man

  341. shouldn't be sad, right? You can say man or O me.

  342. It's truth nonetheless. So you need to work.

  343. If you don't show up for three consecutive churches services on

  344. a Sunday, would we even know that you were gone?

  345. Well, nobody talks to me when I go to church.

  346. My my Bible says to have friends you must show yourself friendly.

  347. Why don't you go smile and shake somebody else's hand, right?

  348. Do we walk by faith or by sight? And then enlargement comes after

  349. you've been employed for a while.

  350. That means you have become or been made large.

  351. You've extended and expanded what God has given you.

  352. It's like the parable of the talents.

  353. He gave one to what, 51211 to five.

  354. What'd he do? He was engaged, he was employed,

  355. but then he expanded. He extended and he took what God

  356. gave him and he doubled it. And the one with two, guess

  357. what? He doubled in.

  358. And there's no competition in the Kingdom of God.

  359. We're all in our own lane with our own assignments.

  360. All God is asking you to do as this child is take what he's

  361. given you. And King David rightfully said

  362. it, it, it was all yours to begin with God.

  363. Did he not say that first? Chronicles 29 several times It

  364. was. It's all yours anyways.

  365. We're just giving back to you what you gave to us.

  366. And in the parable of talents, he said he divided under them

  367. His abilities, his grace. So God wants to expand and

  368. extend and stretch your life where you make a great footprint

  369. and a great influence, where you do great things for a great God.

  370. First Chronicles chapter 4 verse #10 says this.

    1 Chronicles 4 chapter mention

  371. This is about Jabez. And Jabez, you know, his name

  372. meant, sorry is what his name meant.

  373. But he said, I don't want to be sorrowful anymore.

  374. So he prayed this prayer. He said Jabez called on the God

  375. of Israel saying, oh, that you would bless me, indeed enlarge

  376. my coast, and that thy hand might be with me, and that would

  377. keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me.

  378. And God granted him that request.

  379. Do we have enough tenacity and faith and conviction and courage

  380. to say, Lord indeed, bless me, enlarge me Now when you pray

  381. that, guess what? There's a process for that to

  382. manifest. And then we always need to keep

  383. evangelism in mind. As we are engaged, as we're

  384. employed, as we are enlarged, we need to evangelize.

  385. I brought up the term marketplace before because guess

  386. what? We are not or should not be

  387. running around swords and Shields today at Walmart.

  388. You will get arrested, right? That's not the fight we're

  389. fighting today, but there is a modern day fight in the

  390. marketplace. Listen, I, I've, I've been with

  391. a church since 2009. But before that I was with

  392. enterprise Rent a car, which is a secular, secular organization,

  393. right? And that was the marketplace.

  394. And what did, what did I do? And Marcus went, was there too,

  395. the same time I was, I ran 4313. He ran 4321, which is Palm

  396. Coast. But you know, all we had was

  397. buy. We didn't have college degrees.

  398. We had Bible college degree, but both he and I, because of the

  399. grace of God, guess what? We were engaged, we were

  400. employed, we enlarged, we both became branch managers.

  401. Matter of fact, we used to battle back and forth from

  402. Northeast Florida who was like #1 and #2 of the best branches

  403. in all of Northeast Florida. But that took work.

  404. But God will grace you for what He's called you to.

  405. But in the marketplace, guess what?

  406. I was able to increase the enterprise.

  407. Guess what happened? My tithe increased, my influence

  408. increased. I remember Costa who was from

  409. Russia, He gave me a little micro fish of the Bible, but we

  410. used to evangelize to him all the time.

  411. Actually came to church once or twice.

  412. But I wasn't this there there just for a paycheck.

  413. Although my paycheck increased because God was increasing me, I

  414. was able to evangelize there too.

  415. So God wants to use you the same way he used David as mighty man.

  416. You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world.

  417. So I want to give you keys to increase.

  418. This is primarily about finances tonight, although it impacts a

  419. lot of different areas for what God desires to do through his

  420. church. So when I said the Golden

  421. Corral, this is going to be like a fire hydrant tonight.

  422. Now you know, or let me say, let me use my when I go to the

  423. Golden Corral, everybody know what the Golden Corral is.

  424. Thanks, Christopher. Lord, we pray for a golden

  425. crown. There's space up front in the

  426. mall. No, I don't eat like that all

  427. the time. But when I go to the golden

  428. crown, and some of you may relate, the first plate that I

  429. get is a little bit of everything.

  430. You know, I do that 'cause it's a sampler and I get more

  431. specific on the second, third plate in greater quantities with

  432. what I got from the sampler. There's there's like an extra

  433. compartment in your stomach for dessert.

  434. Christopher yes, I do the same thing when it comes to 1st plate

  435. on dessert. Guess what?

  436. It's a sampler. Second, third is the large

  437. quantities of what I liked on the sampler.

  438. So what I'm saying I'm going to throw out a lot tonight, but

  439. with the help of the Holy Spirit and the sampler, He's going to

  440. give you something to chew on for a second, third, and 4th

  441. plate for the weeks and months to come.

  442. Because God knows where you're at and God knows what you need

  443. and the adjustments to increase where you're at to where He

  444. wants you to be. Some of these things you might

  445. be doing, some of these things you might not be doing well.

  446. Some of these things you might not be doing at all.

  447. And as we minister tonight, the key is you're going to take this

  448. away. It's not just for yourself.

  449. There is a lost and dying world out there and we need to.

  450. God cares about you. God cares about your church, but

  451. we need to care about the world. So this will be Golden Corral

  452. for the remainder of the night. Work is not a dirty word.

  453. Work is not part of the curse. Work, as the Bible teaches us,

  454. is the ability God gave you to establish dominion in the earth.

  455. Let me say it again, Work is the ability that God gave you to

  456. establish dominion in the earth. Genesis chapter 1, verses 26

    Genesis 1:26–28

  457. through 28. God said let us make man in our

  458. image according to our likeness. Let them have dominion over the

  459. fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over every cattle,

  460. over all the earth, every over every creeping thing that creeps

  461. on the earth. So God created man in his own

  462. image, in the image of God. He created him, male and female.

  463. Female was not an afterthought. Praise the Lord, He created

  464. them. God blessed them, male and

  465. female. God said to them fivefold

  466. command, be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, subdue it, have

  467. dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,

  468. over everything that moves on the earth.

  469. Then we go to the next chapter, Genesis chapter 2, verse 15,

    Genesis 2:15

  470. before the fall, before sin, God took the man that he had made.

  471. He settled them, settled them some, some of us need to be

  472. settled in work and He put them in the Garden of Eden to

  473. cultivate it and to keep it. Work is a gift that God gives

  474. you to establish dominion in the earth.

  475. Five points on work. Remember, this is just going to

  476. be a sampler to stimulate you 'cause I believe the Holy Spirit

  477. is going to tailor this word to you and what you need you're

  478. going to feed on, like I said, for weeks and months to come.

  479. Putting yourself to work is called employment.

  480. Putting others to work is called an employer.

  481. Putting your money to work is called an investment.

  482. Putting your knowledge to work is called consulting.

  483. Putting a creative idea to work is called an invention.

  484. What work has God called you to? And let me say this, Zechariah

  485. 14 says don't despise the day of small beginnings.

  486. So the work you're doing now may not be the work you're doing in

  487. five years. But as we look at these five

  488. points, what is it and the passion and purpose that God's

  489. put in you that He wants to get you to 'cause if you decide the

  490. spa is working at McDonald's, but God's got a greater work for

  491. you, 'cause He said greater works, will we?

  492. Do you want to get out of McDonald's?

  493. Be faithful, be a blessing. Work your tail off, Work with

  494. the anointing, work with grace. You may be putting the fries in

  495. the oil right now, but don't stop there.

  496. You're faithful with that. They may let you run the cash

  497. register. You're faithful with that.

  498. You may become a shift manager. You're faithful with that.

  499. You may become the manager of McDonald's.

  500. You're faithful with that. God may call you to work your

  501. own business 'cause now you have the knowledge base on how to

  502. operate a fast food restaurant and now you know how to actually

  503. take care of people because you love them.

  504. Feed them real food, not genetically modified fries that

  505. are golden brown in your car after 20 years.

  506. But what work is God called you to?

  507. Remember this, The greatest in the Kingdom is servant of all.

  508. Serve your gift to humanity and the work that He's called you to

  509. do. Servicing clients builds

  510. business. Servicing congregations in

  511. people builds churches. Servicing friends and family

  512. builds relationship. What work has God called us to

  513. as a church? I want to give you some basic

  514. guidelines on money. Money is amoral, which means

  515. there's no morality in money. Whoever holds the money

  516. possesses the morality of the money.

  517. You put money into the hand of a drunk.

  518. It's drunk money. You put money in the hand of a

  519. gambler. Guess what?

  520. It's gambling money. You put money in the hand of an

  521. unrighteous person. It's unrighteous money.

  522. You put money in the hand of a righteous person.

  523. It's righteous money. Money is not evil.

  524. The Bible says the love, or we really say the lust of money, is

  525. the root of all evil. Here's a guideline for money.

  526. Money was made for loving and giving, not lusting and taking.

  527. Money was made for loving and giving, not lusting and taking

  528. and taking. Money is a resource.

  529. It's a resource. Say money is a resource, that's

  530. why it's called currency too 'cause there's got to be a flow,

  531. we say resource 'cause you have to go to the source again to get

  532. more of the resource. But here's 10 guidelines on

  533. money, and number one goes with what I just said.

  534. Money's a resource, but God is the source #1 if you really want

  535. to be blessed in life, you know, you heard this term quality of

  536. life. It's, it's, it's, it's really a

  537. term I think the secular world throws around a lot.

  538. But I'll say in a spiritual aspect, we should have a quality

  539. of life cause the world seeks after money.

  540. But Proverbs says the blessing Lord makes 1 rich, but he adds

  541. no sorrow with it. So if money is your source,

  542. you're gonna have sorrow, but if God is your source, you'll have

  543. resource. Did you get that?

  544. If you just chase money, you're going to have sorrow?

  545. Read Proverbs 23 it it says, you know, he says eat and drink, but

  546. his heart's not with you. And it says money makes wings

  547. and it flies away. It's insatiable, like you can

  548. never have enough when that's all you're seeking.

  549. But when God is your source, you're going to have no sorrow.

  550. But you'll have you'll have a thing called wealth, not riches

  551. 'cause wealth comes. This is why Deuteronomy says

  552. I'll give you the power to get wealth.

  553. There's a difference between wealth and riches.

  554. I want to stretch your thinking. Riches is just accumulated

  555. goods. Wealth is more than that.

  556. Wealth is well-being. Wealth is wisdom, knowledge, and

  557. understanding, all working together to create economic

  558. solvency, stability, and security.

  559. Wealth is wisdom, understanding, knowledge, all working together

  560. like ingredients to create economic solvency, stability and

  561. security. And God said, I'll give you the

  562. power to get not just riches, but wealth.

  563. I saw an NFL player some years ago who had millions, but he

  564. burnt down his mansion. I can't remember if there's

  565. domestic things going on or drugs, but that, that's riches,

  566. but not wealth 'cause you're broken your mind.

  567. And when you're in the Kingdom of God and operating under His

  568. laws, not only can He get you the riches, but He gives you

  569. wealth. Your marriage will be

  570. successful, your kids will be acting right.

  571. Your body won't be broken down, your mind won't have a vice grip

  572. around it, you won't be depressed #2 Seek God first in

  573. everything. Seek God for He has an amazing

  574. way of getting resources to you. You know the woman that died or

  575. her husband died in the Old Testament.

  576. And this is a sad statement, but when that woman died in the Old

  577. Testament, somebody could probably find their reference.

  578. I think it's over in Kings. And it said the only thing it

  579. said about the man was he left me in debt.

  580. So I'm going to challenge. If you care about your family,

  581. you should have a life insurance policy in place.

  582. We're talking primarily about finances tonight.

  583. Does that mean you're going to die?

  584. No, but I just believe it keeps the devil at Bay, 'cause it's

  585. wise, right? But the only thing they said

  586. about that man. But guess God.

  587. When you see God first and everything like she did, He gave

  588. her a creative idea that became an invention.

  589. That was her work and it was the most unusual thing.

  590. Go get the pans from your neighbors.

  591. Remember that. And then start pouring oil into

  592. it. And then she asked the prophet,

  593. what do I do after that? He put her into business, he

  594. said go sell all of it and now listen this live off of the

  595. rest. That was like the lottery.

  596. Seek God first in everything #3 decisions require

  597. responsibility. For those of you that are

  598. married, decisions cannot be unilateral in the marriage

  599. covenant. Husbands, you may like to fish,

  600. you may like boating, but you do not pull up on a Saturday

  601. morning with a brand new boat without consulting your wife.

  602. That's a unilateral move and decision in the marriage

  603. covenant. Now, if you're single, you got

  604. some fluidity. Hallelujah.

  605. There are pros and cons of being married, and there's our pros

  606. and cons of being single. You can get the no new boat with

  607. your single as long as God says 'cause you're still consulting.

  608. Decisions require responsibility.

  609. God, should I get this boat? But if you're married, you

  610. better have that conversation or you may not see her for several

  611. days and then then when your eyes, the swelling starts to go

  612. down, finally you'll see her again #4 Tithe and offerings are

  613. basic visible evidence of faith. You say you believe in God.

  614. This is a fundamental in the Kingdom of God.

  615. It's an evidence you're not really giving anchor faith

  616. church. When you give, it's really a

  617. release of faith towards God, saying you trust him.

  618. And when you don't give, you know, what you're saying is I

  619. really don't trust that you'll do what you say.

  620. When it comes to finances #5 it's what I call the good plan.

  621. GOOD. Get out of debt.

  622. You know, there's nowhere in my Bible where I see Jehovah visa

  623. number six. Start where you are with what

  624. you have #7 goes with #5 Live within your means.

  625. Too many buy people, buy things with money they don't have, to

  626. get things they don't need to impress people they don't like

  627. #8 To obey God today is to trust Him for tomorrow #9 Keep

  628. detailed records. I'm going to follow up with this

  629. when we get to another sampler #10 be generous with God and be

  630. generous with others. Don't have the American mindset.

  631. The American mindset is get all you can, can all you get.

  632. Sit on the can. Proverbs 11/25 says this though.

  633. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will

  634. also be watered himself. And I'll follow up with that.

  635. Another scripture from from Luke chapter 12, Luke chapter 12,

Luke 12 chapter mention Luke 12 chapter mention

  636. starting in verse #13 this just goes along with being generous

  637. with others and being generous with God.

  638. Not hoarding, right? Not storing up to the point

  639. where all you do is trust in your riches and not God.

  640. So Luke chapter 12 verse 13 says this.

    Luke 12:13

  641. Then one from the crowd said him, teacher, tell my brother to

  642. divide the inheritance with me. So he's talking to the Lord

  643. about finances. He said, but, but he said to a

  644. man who made me a judge or an arbitrator over you.

  645. And he said to them, Jesus said to them, take heed and beware of

  646. covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the

  647. abundance of things he possesses.

  648. Verse 16 Then Jesus spoke a parable to him, saying, the

  649. ground of a certain rich man yielded plentiful.

  650. And this rich man thought to within himself, saying, What

  651. shall I do since I have no room to store my crops?

  652. And this rich man said, I'll do this, I'll pull down my barns,

  653. I'll build, I'll build greater ones, and there I will store all

  654. my crops and my goods, and I will say to my soul, So you have

  655. many good years laid up, take your ease, eat, drink and be

  656. merry. But God said, fool this, not

  657. your soul be required of you. Then whose will those things be?

  658. What you have provided? So this person was only rich

  659. towards himself and not rich towards others.

  660. So we need to be generous with God and we need to be generous

  661. with others. I want to give you 5 keys to

  662. increase, 5 keys increase. So we've looked at work, we've

  663. looked at these guidelines, and I want to take this last

  664. sampler, 5 Keys to increase. And as we go over these, I just

  665. want you to review and evaluate your life and see if there's

  666. anything lacking or underperforming in any of these

  667. five years 'cause I guarantee you this according to the word

  668. of the Lord, if you do these five things, the blessings are

  669. going to flow. Now with finances, it doesn't

  670. always happen overnight, but it will happen.

  671. And I, I know and others in this room know that if practice these

  672. five things, it will take place. Listen, there was a day when our

  673. sons were in the house and all we could do was the dollar menu

  674. when we ate at McDonald's. That was a long time ago and all

  675. they could do was get all we could afford was to get 4 things

  676. for each of them off the dollar meal, which they probably don't

  677. have a dollar meal anymore, but that's where we were at that

  678. time. Now in life, I tell my household

  679. we are going, we are going to aim to not eat out more than

  680. twice a week. Do you see the flip on that?

  681. So there's one time when we're driving a red it used actually

  682. it was a, a Quest. Remember the Quest, Nissan

  683. Quest, but it wasn't really a Nissan Quest because the

  684. domestic manufacturer made it. Did you know that it's a fake

  685. Nissan with a we, we thought, you know, this is pretty cool.

  686. We had AVHS in it with, you know, in between the the driver

  687. and the passenger seats in the front and there was a console

  688. right now they have the everything.

  689. It flips down from the roof. It's on the back of the seats

  690. and everything. But but God has delivered us

  691. from the quest. It was a good quest.

  692. That thing got to Albuquerque, NM to visit my brother.

  693. Praise the Lord and back, because if you do this one thing

  694. and tithe, it'll rebuke the devourer.

  695. Hallelujah. All right, so the first thing is

  696. tithe and offerings. First key to increase is tithe

  697. and offerings. What's the tithe?

  698. That's 10%. So if you make $100, what's the

  699. tithe of $100? What's a tithe of $105?

  700. So I can get so many mathematicians to think real

  701. quick, what's a tithe of $111.00?

  702. What's a tithe on $10,000? You can participate.

  703. What's a tithe on $1,000,000? What's a tithe on a billion

  704. dollars? What is it, Red and Randy, $100

  705. million Done. You got it.

  706. You dropped an offering bucket. Praise the Lord.

  707. Malachi chapter. In all seriousness, Malachi

    Malachi 3 chapter mention

  708. chapter 3 verse #10 says this. Bring all the ties into the

  709. storehouse. Not Christian radio, not

  710. Christian television, not a minister you may like listening

  711. to online. Is it right to give you those?

  712. Yeah. But what?

  713. What would that be considered? Good.

  714. You all are trained up. That'd be an offering, right?

  715. He said. Bring it to the What's the

  716. storehouse where you primarily get fed?

  717. The local body church. I want to give a testimony on a

  718. side, well it's 836. My wife's preaching in the

  719. current. So I think I got like an extra

  720. 30 minutes tonight. So I had to create an idea, but

  721. I didn't invent it. She's talking on the Holy Spirit

  722. cause Pastor Chase was praying and said man, we need a

  723. minister. So he got my wife in his spirit,

  724. said I want you to minister on the Holy Spirit.

  725. So they were coming up with all these titles with my daughter

  726. yesterday like goat and all these other ones, but they

  727. settled with something about Dove.

  728. And I said you should get some Dove chocolates.

  729. So she's passing out Dove chocolates tonight.

  730. You're getting no sweets but the word of God.

  731. Now I won't go till 9:30, but I do want to say this, 'cause I

  732. make, I want to make sure I get through everything that the Lord

  733. desires to get through. Your storehouse is where you get

  734. fed, equipped and trained and in in our evaluation today, we have

  735. evaluations for all areas within the ministry that we do annually

  736. and we're working through Washington Classical Christian

  737. School right now, but we had the privilege of doing it with

  738. Theodore Moreland. Is Ted in here Ted everybody

  739. know coach Ted Well, his little baby June just had some trials

  740. with some health issues, right. And but we're doing this

  741. evaluation. I didn't, I didn't know the

  742. whole story, but I'm bringing this up because you bring all

  743. the ties into the storehouse. And so when they couldn't figure

  744. what was wrong, she had a fever and they took her to Flagler.

  745. But then end up going to Wolfson's on 1616, the new one

  746. up by Texas Roadhouse, which I forget who was it was Pastor

  747. Bradley was pulling out the same time that Ted was walking in.

  748. So Ted said it was amazing 'cause I'm getting text messages

  749. from Pastor Earl. Like, how do these people know

  750. where I'm at? Like, well, Bradley just

  751. happened to be in the right place at the right time and

  752. asked Ted what was going on. All of a sudden, Ted's he's

  753. like, dude, I'm so glad I'm part of Anchor Faith Church.

  754. And it's not us. It's God's system, it's God's

  755. plan, it's God's purpose. It's just us during our role and

  756. we're like a family. And so he just loved the

  757. support, the prayers and everything.

  758. But he when he, when they were trying to figure out what's

  759. wrong, they, they want to do a Spinal Tap on baby June.

  760. And so in doing that, one of the adults, they couldn't take both.

  761. One of the adults could go into the room, but not both.

  762. And he asked Kaylee, do you want to go?

  763. She's like, I don't want to be in there for that.

  764. And Ted's like, I'm not going to let my little go going by

  765. herself. So I'm going in with her.

  766. But he said, thank God for this church.

  767. He said, because I've learned to listen to the Holy Spirit.

  768. And when I was taking baby June in to go into that Spinal Tap to

  769. get that, he said, the Holy Spirit checked me pray for the

  770. baby. And so he was getting ready to

  771. lay the baby on the table for them to do the operation.

  772. And the Holy Spirit said, again, pray for the baby.

  773. You know what he did? He's he's he put back up.

  774. He said, everybody bow your heads.

  775. I want to pray nurses, doctors. It wasn't a Hannah prayer, which

  776. is silent prayer. He with the boldness he, he

  777. said, he told the doctor and the nurses, bow your heads.

  778. I love it. And he prayed the power of God

  779. down on that and said, man, this is going to take the first time.

  780. It's going to be successful. You're going to guide the

  781. doctors. You're going to give wisdom to

  782. the nurses and he read through the whole thing.

  783. They make you sign a a release form of everything that could go

  784. wrong, and then they say it normally doesn't take on the

  785. first time. So he prayed that they got it on

  786. the first time. The next day we talked about

  787. being engaged, employed, enlarged and evangelized.

  788. This is evangelism. The next day the nurse comes

  789. back and says to Ted, I went home and told my husband about

  790. you praying today in the power of prayer.

  791. And he said, do you worship anywhere?

  792. She said no, but there was power in that prayer 'cause they never

  793. take the first time. So really an unbeliever told a

  794. believer there's power in prayer and witnessed it.

  795. That's the storehouse that you're pouring into right where

  796. you're primarily trained. In the clip he said bring all

  797. the ties into the storehouse that there may be food in my

  798. house and now try me on this says the Lord of hosts.

  799. If I will not open up the windows of heaven and pour out a

  800. blessing for you that you will not have room enough to receive

  801. it the the tithe. We could pass the mic right now.

  802. What are you saying back there? Oh, you want me to read verse

  803. 11? I don't have verse 11.

  804. My notes for Randy and you're interrupting.

  805. I thought he was giving me the love sign back there.

  806. Love you too, brother. 11 OK, so here's your homework assignment.

  807. Per Reverend Randy, read verse 11 on your own.

  808. Now. You messed me up.

  809. I forget what I'm saying. The storehouse.

  810. I could pass the mic. But I know like things that have

  811. opened up for us. We have a business called

  812. Kinderfit and all five of these keys, I'm telling you we did,

  813. but this is one of the ones that opened up for us.

  814. Angie was employed. Or worked for.

  815. The previous owner who wanted to get back into teaching, this was

  816. her baby. Her creative idea, you know,

  817. that she put into, gave life to basically create a business

  818. called Kinderfit. She actually started in

  819. Oklahoma, which is ironic 'cause we're from, well, Angie's from

  820. Oklahoma, but moved to Florida and has had success in this

  821. business. Angie worked for her, but back

  822. in, I think it's 2018, she wanted to get out of the

  823. business and she was going to give it to her sister.

  824. But she, she knew Angie's work ethic, which is our next point,

  825. and she knew her heart for God. And they end up giving us the

  826. business at a really good deal and actually working on a

  827. payment plan for us. So we didn't have to pay

  828. everything upfront, but that's what the tithe that did open up

  829. that business to us. The house that we're in right

  830. now, it was a fight of faith to get into, but this is how good

  831. God is. We didn't, we wanted acreage,

  832. but I didn't want to drive 20 minutes, Hallelujah, 'cause, you

  833. know, to get acreage usually way out.

  834. And with everything we do and responsibilities at the church,

  835. I want to be close, But I believe with all my harp tithing

  836. and offerings open up to get the house we're in currently.

  837. And I, I, we could go around this room of testimonies of what

  838. the tithe and the offering has done in your life and will

  839. continue to do 'cause God is not God puts no limits on faith.

  840. Faith puts no limits on God. How big can you dream?

  841. Don't let anybody else create your world for the you.

  842. They'll create it too small. The tithe will open up things.

  843. The offerings is really where you get to invest in the Kingdom

  844. of God and this you go back to the guidelines seek God first

  845. and everything we review every year when I go over goals with

  846. Angie, you know what, what is our giving goals this year?

  847. Tithe is standard, but we are way above the tithe and we we

  848. pray and we seek and we ask God, what do you want us to do?

  849. And so we've done that for years now and I've seen God just open

  850. up amazing things through the tithe and offering.

  851. Matthew 2323 says this woe to you scribes and Pharisees,

  852. hypocrites, for you pay tithe of men a nice and cumin and have

  853. neglected the weightier matters of law, justice and mercy and

  854. faith. These you have ought to done

  855. without leaving the others undone.

  856. So even Jesus pointed back to the tithe.

  857. He said, now you need to have mercy, right?

  858. But you still need a tithe. In Genesis chapter 14 verses 18

    Genesis 14:18–20

  859. through 20, it says then Melchizedek, king of Salem

  860. brought out bread and wine. He was the priest of God Most

  861. High and he blessed him and said blessed be Abraham of God Most

  862. High, possessor of heaven and earth, and blessed be God Most

  863. High who has delivered your enemies into your hand.

  864. And Abraham gave him a tithe of all predates the Mosaic economy,

  865. the Mosaic law, and Abraham just knew he was to give God 1/10.

  866. So that's the first key to increase is giving your tithe

  867. and your offerings. What is God saying above the

  868. 10%? What is God telling you to do

  869. right? And that's something you need to

  870. communicate with God and let God communicate with you his will

  871. when it comes to offerings beyond the tithe.

  872. But I tell you what, God is faithful.

  873. You can't out give God. And when you do give, He gives

  874. back to you a good measure, pressed down, shaken together

  875. and running over Second ingredient and increase of these

  876. 5 keys is work ethic. Proverbs chapter 24, verses 30

    Proverbs 24:30–34

  877. through 34 from the Amplified Bible says this.

  878. I went by the field of the lazy man and by the vineyard of the

  879. man lacking understanding and common sense.

  880. And behold, it was all overgrown with thorns, and nestles were

  881. covering its surface. Its Stonewall was broken down.

  882. When I saw, I considered it. Well, I looked and I received

  883. instruction. A little sleep, a little

  884. slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and Daydream.

  885. And then poverty will come you as on on you as a robber, and

  886. you're want like an armed man. So listen, if you give tithe and

  887. offerings but you don't work hard, you're going to miss God's

  888. best. Proverbs 1819189 second

  889. reference on this. He was slothful in his work as a

  890. brother to him was a great destroyer.

  891. I was at a checkout line one time and there was probably a

  892. teenager or somebody in their early 20s on their cell phone

  893. disengaged with the customers. That's not Scott's standard of

  894. work ethic. Showing up 10 minutes late to

  895. work with a bad attitude is not God's standard for work ethic.

  896. Complaining about your employer is not God's standard of work

  897. ethic. Sleeping on the job is not God's

  898. standard of work ethic. Proverbs 2819 says this.

  899. He who cultivates his land will have plenty of bread.

  900. That's work ethic. I was reading one time was it,

  901. was it Hagar when the baby is getting ready to die and, and,

  902. and, and he said there's, there's water.

  903. She thought it, I thought, God, it's provisions all around us.

  904. We're complaining. And he's like, just cultivate,

  905. just cultivate, plant the seed, water it work.

  906. Second Thessalonians chapter 3 verse #11 says we hear that

    2 Thessalonians 3 chapter mention

  907. there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not

  908. working at all, but they're busy bodies.

  909. Hallelujah. Now don't get me wrong, there's

  910. some legitimate needs. So understand when I say this,

  911. that could be communicated via social media.

  912. But then we're also know there's people that are busy bodies on

  913. there that are raising funds because they don't work.

  914. Are you with me? Deuteronomy 1510 says you shall

  915. surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when

  916. you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God

  917. will bless you and all your works and into which you put

  918. your hand. If you read Psalms chapter 1

    Psalms 1 chapter mention

  919. verses one through 3, you know talks about blesses a man that

  920. don't walk in the council ungodly, nor stands the way the

  921. center, nor seats in the seat of the scornful, but his delights

  922. in the law of the Lord, and that law he meditates day and night.

  923. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of living water,

  924. and whatever he does with his hand will prosper.

  925. What are you putting your hand to every day?

  926. What do you put in your hand to in parenting?

  927. What do you put in your hand to in praise?

  928. What do you put in your hand to as an employer and employment?

  929. What do you put in your hand to in a creative idea?

  930. What do you put in your hand to with investing money?

  931. Right. Whatever you do with your hand,

  932. if it's in God's will, it's going to prosper.

  933. The hand is the instrument of instruments.

  934. It's the symbol of human action. It's the symbol of power and

  935. authority. Jesus has sat at the right hand

  936. of the father. Whatever you put your hand to as

  937. a spiritual believer to do, it will prosper.

  938. If it's in a with the word of God, anointed by the Spirit,

  939. whatever you do, a prosper. What a great confession for you

  940. to have when you go to work tomorrow and say, Lord, whatever

  941. I put my hand to, it will prosper.

  942. I didn't even put confession on the sampler, but confession is

  943. important when it comes to prosperity.

  944. If you say I'm broke, I'm never going to have enough.

  945. The third key is management. Proverbs chapter 27, verses 23

    Proverbs 27:23–27

  946. through 27 sees it says, be diligent to know the state of

  947. your flocks and attend to your herds, for riches are not

  948. forever, nor does a crown endure to all generations.

  949. When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, and

  950. the herbs of the mountain are gathered in, the lambs will

  951. provide you clothing, the goats the price of a field.

  952. You shall have enough goats milk for your food, for the food of

  953. your household and the nourishment of your maid

  954. servants. You know what this verse is

  955. exuding with is knowing what's coming into your house and

  956. what's going out of your house. If your outgo is more than your

  957. income, then your upkeep becomes your downfall.

  958. Luke chapter 14 verses 28 through 30.

    Luke 14:28–30

  959. I told you this is kind of like a fire hydrant tonight, but I'm

  960. believing you're going to get what the Holy Spirit needs to

  961. give you to have increased in your life.

  962. Amen. Luke chapter 1420 through 30

  963. says for which of you intended to build a tower does not sit

  964. down 1st and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish

  965. it, lest after he has laid the foundation he's not able to

  966. finish all who see it begin to mock him saying this man begin

  967. to build it was not able to finish first.

  968. Timothy 35 from the Amplified says for if a man does not know

  969. how to manage his own own household, how we take care of

  970. the Church of God. Management is taking care of

  971. what God is giving you. It's being wise with the

  972. resources and the wealth that he's given you.

  973. It's stopping to ask God, what do you want me to do with this?

  974. Management is having a plan in place.

  975. Management is knowing what's in your account and working and

  976. counseling for years I've I've realized some people don't know

  977. what's in their account. All they they do is look at

  978. their online banking. They have no budget, no

  979. spreadsheet. Listen, people, friends,

  980. congregation, family of God, Hallelujah.

  981. We live in such a modern technology.

  982. There is no excuse that you can't find your flavor or your

  983. style when it comes to having something in place.

  984. Nothing's changed mathematically as there's debits, there's

  985. credits. Now, how you record that you and

  986. your wife, if you're married, come together.

  987. If you're single, make your own decision, but record it.

  988. You should know your what your break even is.

  989. Each month there's a question for you.

  990. I won't have many. Raise your hand.

  991. Do you know what your break even is?

  992. What? What do you mean break even?

  993. What does it take between rent, mortgage insurance, cell phone,

  994. utilities, Netflix, DoorDash, Instacart to meet to meet Uber?

  995. Thanks, Christopher. To meet your budget each month,

  996. right? You know what management is?

  997. I've saved $1170 since April 2024.

  998. How did you do that, Pastor Mike?

  999. Because I manage. What did you say of that?

1000. Because I was paying $65 a month on PMI.

  1001. What's PMI? It's private mortgage insurance.

1002. But once you hit a certain value on your house, you can get that

1003. removed. Have you looked at your PMI?

1004. Do you have PMI? Do you know what PMI is?

1005. I'm just giving examples, right? I read a book recently just on

1006. paying a little extra in principle over.

1007. I do this weekly because everything's so easy with

1008. technology now. But right now I'm just giving

1009. you examples so you and your household could help manage

1010. better because sometimes your income may need to come up or

1011. your overhead can go down. I remember years ago when we're

1012. State Farm, just calling around, I got Farm Bureau to get a

1013. better insurance rate. So I went with them, right?

1014. So there's things you can do and management that can help you

1015. out. Now I joke around about DoorDash

1016. and Instacart, but do you really need that?

1017. Because part of listen, temperance is part of the fruit

1018. of the spirit. What's temperance?

  1019. It's called self-control. Restraint, temperance, and

1020. self-control are all characters of disciples of Jesus Christ.

1021. Just cause the bank says you can borrow $100,000. self-control

1022. may say no, and that's good management.

1023. Remember that one. Live within your means. 7 out of

1024. 10 Americans live paycheck to paycheck and some of this is

1025. obviously they don't know tithe and offering.

1026. They're not walking in that blessing.

1027. They don't know work ethic, they're not working that

1028. blessing. They don't know management,

1029. they're not walking in that blessing.

1030. So all I'm saying is get a plan in place.

1031. If you don't have one, then I encourage you and listen for

1032. you. Married couples, let me help you

1033. out 'cause I helped myself out. I would frustrate Angie because,

1034. you know, I, we are aims to get together once a month, although

1035. that doesn't quite happen. That's my goal.

1036. But we, we try to get together frequently because I want the

1037. next thing called unity. That's the fourth key.

1038. But early on, and this helped me, I would just rattle off

1039. everything because it's in my mind like a Rolodex.

1040. And I, I just saw her eyes go crossed and I realized real

1041. quick, if I'm going to communicate with her, it's got

1042. to be on paper. So in my household, when it

1043. comes to management and in your household, listen, there's

  1044. always a spender. There's always a saver.

1045. So for the husbands that are spenders, raise your hand.

1046. I'm kidding, but God didn't put you together to frustrate one

1047. another. Listen, here's me in management

1048. when it comes to Christmas time. I've become a better manager

1049. because I never planned for that.

1050. But Angie loves to give. So in my saving and her

1051. spending, we balance each other out really well.

1052. We break even. Thanks, Rafael.

1053. But I've learned, guess what she's done?

1054. It's learned. It's taught me how to be more

1055. generous and not so tight. So I'm just saying, God, when we

1056. get to this next principle, which is unity, He didn't put a

1057. husband and wife together to frustrate one another, but to

1058. complement one another. Can you say Amen?

1059. Do you know that men and women don't think alike?

  1060. And do you realize there's one that's a savor and one's a

1061. suspender? So just settle it now.

1062. This is not frustration. God did this for us so that we

1063. could unite because the 4th key is unity.

1064. The place of disagreement is the pace place of powerlessness.

1065. The place of agreement is the place of power.

1066. Amos 33 says how can two walk together unless they be agreed?

  1067. Matthew 18 what's it? 18181819 says how if any 2 of

1068. you on earth touch and agree about anything according to my

1069. father's will will be done. Is this a key that's missing in

1070. your household if you're married?

1071. Is this a key that you're missing if you're single because

1072. you're not united with God? Remember when it said David's

1073. heart and hand were together? They were united.

1074. So whether single or married, there's still a unity principle

1075. of cooperating either with your spouse or with the Lord to

1076. experience God's best. But unity is important, and

1077. unity comes through a thing called communication.

1078. Reliable communication permits progress, but an unreliable

1079. messenger causes a lot of trouble.

1080. So if you want to get unified, you got to learn how to

1081. communicate, not shut down. You got to be able to

1082. communicate with God, let God communicate with you.

1083. If you're married, you got to be able to communicate with your

1084. spouse. And really, if we're training,

1085. this is just another side thought and side nugget, another

1086. sampler. It is the cheesecake.

1087. We have a responsibility to train our children up in the way

1088. that they should go. So just a side thought.

1089. When Abby and Chloe were little, we got Dave Ramsey's 3 little

1090. bags to give save and I can't remember the other one.

1091. Give save and I'm looking at you Pastor Vanessa Spin yes, so that

1092. when they got money they used to have these little bags which in

1093. management I could have made these a lot cheaper myself.

1094. Now I'm thinking about it and just got a little envelope and

1095. not gave Dave Ramsey $24.00. But you have responsibility to

1096. train your children, right? So it's not just for you.

1097. You're training. And then what if God wanted to

1098. use you as a mentor to help train other people?

1099. Because what as you grow, so does His church.

1100. So if you're blessed, you should be a blessing.

1101. What I'm saying is it should be working in your life so you can

1102. help other people's lives. So unity is important.

1103. Y'all doing all right. We are to our last point,

1104. vision. So the five keys were tithe and

1105. offering work ethic, management, unity, and vision.

1106. There is no fullness of provision without vision.

1107. Vision is the ability to romance and dream about your future

1108. while embracing the present. Vision is the ability to romance

1109. and dream about your future while embracing the present.

1110. Dream is a pictured goal really in the Kingdom God wants you to

1111. be successful and success in God's eye is the predetermined

1112. goals, dreams, and visions that He has in store for you.

1113. I'll say it again, success is the predetermined goals,

1114. visions, and dreams that God has in store for you.

1115. Proverbs 2918 says where there's no vision is the people perish.

1116. Habakkuk 22 says then the Lord answered me and said, write the

1117. vision down. Make it plain that he that he

1118. may run. Who reads it?

1119. So really you think about vision and provision.

1120. In order to have provisions you need vision.

1121. I'm going to give you one more scripture, 2 examples and a

1122. final statement and then we'll close.

1123. It's going to go really quick. It's like the end of a roller

1124. coaster ride, you know, I almost hesitated, but I felt like

1125. there'd be a grace tonight to pour out so much and so little

1126. time. But I really, the Golden Corral

1127. set me free because that's when I was praying about.

1128. It's what the Holy Spirit gave me.

1129. If you just preface it with that, even though it's a lot,

1130. the people are going to take what they're need.

1131. The Holy Spirit's going to minister that to you and you're

1132. going to feed off of that second plate, third plate, 4th plate

1133. into dessert plates. So Genesis 1515 says, and he

1134. brought him outside his tent into the Starlight and said,

1135. look now toward the heavens and count the stars.

1136. If you're able to number them. Then he said to Abraham, so

1137. shall your descendants be. So with vision, God told

1138. Abraham, look up. So I just want, I just want

1139. everybody to close your eyes without falling asleep 'cause it

1140. is 9:00. If your head hits the seat in

1141. front of you, it's not my fault. But real quick I'll go real

  1142. fast. Vision.

1143. OK, Pretend you're coming in on old Moultrie or US1 right now.

1144. What does our parking lot look like right now in your mind?

1145. But can you see it with black top and yellow lines?

1146. OK, let's go to this. As you're pulling on the parking

1147. lot right now for Moto US1, what does our building look like

1148. currently? Can you see the building painted

1149. black the way there's plenty of the marquee sign out there

1150. black? Let me ask you one more

1151. question. What does your life look like

1152. with the mortgage right now? But what would your life look

1153. without like without a mortgage? Can you see it?

1154. All right, open up your eyes. That's vision.

1155. I I want you. I I am closing right now so the

1156. worship team can come. Mediocre men settle for good,

1157. which is enemy of best. And there's really 3 levels of

1158. living survival, success and significance.

1159. I want God wants Anchor Faith Church to be a significant

1160. church. So if you enlarge yourself and

1161. you grow, guess what? So does the ministry grow?

1162. And what I want to leave you with tonight is you should dream

1163. when you come on the parking lot and be a part in the

1164. participation of seeing the parking lot with brand new

1165. asphalt all over it. You should be able to pull up

1166. into your driveway and dream about going to your house and

1167. your dog acting right and your kids excited to see you.

1168. Are you with me? That's vision and that's what I

1169. want to leave with you tonight is what has God put in your

1170. heart to be engaged with, to be employed with, to enlarge and to

1171. evangelize? Very last thing Sunday is

1172. service and I want to leave with evangelism is because envision.

1173. Can you invite somebody to church this Sunday?

1174. Can you believe God that you pull up to a gas station or

1175. you're at Publix or wherever? May your journey may take you

1176. this week and God's going to set up a divine appointment for you

1177. to connect with somebody who needs Jesus.

1178. Can you see it in your vision? And in that moment, you get to

1179. be like Coach Ted and be bold. You may even lead into Christ

1180. right there at the pump. But then you can follow up and

1181. say, listen, come to Anchor Faith Church.

1182. We'll do you good on your spiritual journey.

1183. I'll meet you in the parking lot at 9:30 AM whatever.

1184. But I want to leave you with that tonight because I believe

1185. that God is building his your life and the life of his church.

1186. But there is a lost and a dying world out there.

1187. We need to be mindful as we go through our day-to-day duties

1188. and responsibilities that God is going to connect us with people

1189. because we are called to ignite this city, impact this nation,

  1190. and influence the world.
