Sermon
No Grit, No Glory with AP. Joshua Adams

-
As I was studying this week, the Lord dropped this description of
-
my heart. It's not the title, it's not the
-
description for my sermon. It's just the introduction.
-
Amen. But John chapter 4, verse 34
-
through 38, and this I believe is a prophetic proclamation over
-
this house this morning, Amen. Got three people said Amen, it's
-
all good, come on now, prophetic proclamation.
-
Jesus said, look at this. He said my nourishment comes
-
from doing the will of God who sent me and from finishing,
-
finishing his work. Declare with me, we are going to
-
finish. We are going to finish and I am
-
confident, just as Paul declared to the Church of Philippi in
-
Philippians chapter 166. He said he who began a good
-
work, if he has begun a good work, it will be finished.
-
Amen. The he who began a good work in
-
you will continue his work until it is finally finished on the
-
day when Christ Jesus returns. Hallelujah.
-
What God is doing in this place is a good work, but it is not
-
yet finished. It is not yet finished.
-
We got much more to do Amen. And I'm here this morning to
-
deliver a prophetic utterance to this house that with that, what
-
God has begun in this place will continue.
-
This is so strange. I had to write my notes in
-
English. This is so good.
-
I finally made it on the in missions.
-
You know, where I, I, I, I'm so used to preaching in Portuguese
-
that now my sermons are in English.
-
I love that. That's so cool 'cause I usually
-
preach in Portuguese and now this is weird, but it's good.
-
Amen. He's not done.
-
He's got much more to do Amen. That what God has begun in this
-
place will continue until it is finished.
-
There is much more to be fulfilled until it's complete.
-
And if it's not complete, it's not complete.
-
If it's not abounding, if it's not overflowing, if it's not
-
exceedingly good, it's not done yet.
-
Hallelujah. So we have much more to do.
-
Jesus continues saying back there in John, he says, you know
-
the saying and the disciples are like what?
-
I don't know what you're saying. You know the saying.
-
Four months between planting in harvest, but I say he's like you
-
got you got a perspective, a natural linear perspective.
-
But but let me help you see how I see.
-
He says, you say it's supposed to be like this in four months
-
or in four years. But God says, but I say Amen.
-
But I say Jesus saying, but I say wake up, look around.
-
The fields are already right for harvest.
-
You better believe, Church, that the Master has already gone
-
before us and he has prepared the fields.
-
In those fields He has declared and he has spoken.
-
They are ready and they are ripe for harvest and for me.
-
And then this is something that stirs my hearts because I'm a
-
church planter. That's what I do.
-
I look for new territory. I say, where can we expand the
-
Kingdom of God? I'm not interested in if I've
-
got enough money. I've got the king of kings, the
-
glorious, the glorious one, the alpha, the Omega, the beginning
-
and the end. I've got the one with the keys
-
and he says, I've given you the keys.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
Oh man, I'm already sweating. I got sweat coming down my back.
-
This is good. You know what's good?
-
When the pastor, when the preacher's sweating, right?
-
Hallelujah. I'm not interested.
-
I'm not trying to quantify how it's going to happen.
-
He says you've got a perspective, but I've got a
-
different perspective. You say 4 months or four years,
-
but I say wake up, look around. The fields are already already
-
right for harvest. Now, I've got a lot of critics
-
in my. I have so many critics in my
-
life. So many people, they come up to
-
me. I call them critical Christians.
-
They're more carnal than they are critical, but pretty much
-
the same thing. And they always say to me, yeah,
-
well, Joshua, you know, is one more church really necessary?
-
Is I'm like, you better shut your mouth.
-
I don't care what you have to say.
-
There is one more church really necessary by God.
-
It is because he didn't say the field is ready.
-
He said the fields are ready. There are many fields and many
-
places that anchor faith has yet not reached.
-
But all the master is declaring this morning, Oh, wake up and
-
look and see Woo Marreda Sovre, the Ecoto romantic J And I'm not
-
just speaking to some congregation.
-
I'm speaking to the epicenter. I'm speaking to the, the, the
-
Saji, the mother church, the central church that will do
-
great and marvelous things. And I'm telling you, there is a
-
blessing that's about to pour in this house.
-
And every single one of you, you better raise your hands and say,
-
God, I want to be a recipient of that blessing, but I also want
-
to be a contributor and not merely a consumer of the
-
blessings of the Lord so that expansion can go forth and the
-
Kingdom can be advanced and we can usher in the return of the
-
Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, my God, I've never preached
-
a church in the America that feels like my church.
-
This is good. I like that He didn't say the
-
field is ready. I'm gonna scream at you all
-
morning. OK.
-
So you just better be ready. Amen.
-
The field. He didn't say the field is
-
ready. He said the fields.
-
The fields are ready. We serve a God of the great
-
expansion. He is a God of the manifestation
-
of multiplication. He loves multiplication.
-
Kingdom expansion does not intimidate God.
-
In fact, it pleases God. You better hook your faith up
-
this morning to His perspective. Amen.
-
Because the way that God sees is far greater than any critical
-
Christian spouting off their carnal opinion, saying, well, I
-
don't OK with that. I don't, I don't think that's
-
necessary. Well, I don't think your
-
attitude is necessary. I think you need to just shut
-
your mouth and let me crossover and you can stay on this side if
-
you want to stay. Oh, get a little spicy.
-
Look around. He continues saying the
-
harvesters are paid good wages and the fruit they harvest is
-
people brought to eternal life. What joy re Masisha?
-
What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike?
-
Meal deals Dussell. That wasn't tongues, that was
-
Portuguese, Amen. Meal deals Dussell Deals E
-
bones. That's Portuguese too, just to
-
let you know. I said, Oh my God in heaven, he
-
is good, Amen. What joy awaits you, Church?
-
What joy awaits you, Apostle? What joy awaits you, Apostola?
-
What joy awaits you, Church? There is a great joy.
-
There's a great joy when we look out upon the harvest by faith
-
and say, what is that? I can see that, I can see that.
-
I can see that. Apostle, you might want to
-
change igniting cities. I think that might be a better
-
phrase. What's the second part in?
-
No, what's the first part? Ignite city or cities impact
-
nations. What's the third part?
-
Influenced the world nation, right?
-
You're talking about this nation might be nations.
-
Amen. We got to put some plural in
-
that vision. I'm not saying change of vision,
-
but but God says cities, God is saying nations, God is saying
-
the world anchor faith has been called for much more.
-
And you, you got to get come on, I'm here to make you a little
-
uncomfortable. We got to we got to stir
-
ourselves up out of out of comfortability and recognize why
-
are we here as a church. God has called us to do much
-
more. And there might be seasons where
-
there's a pruning that occurs in the little trimming here.
-
And we've experienced that many times.
-
Today we have 15 locations. We're reaching thousands every
-
single week. Praise God Almighty, the man.
-
We went through seasons of trials and tribulations.
-
We had to deal with Jezebel spirits.
-
We had to deal with demons. We had to deal with offended
-
people. We had to deal with people
-
saying I didn't really like what you doing.
-
We had to be. We had so much opposition.
-
We'll write this down, man, write this down.
-
This is good. This is from God right here.
-
If there is a barrier, it just means there's a blessing on the
-
other side of it. Every barrier I have faced in my
-
life, there is a greater blessing on the other side of
-
that barrier. And these barriers come in
-
different seasons. And I'm not a professional.
-
Your apostles have way more experience than I do in the
-
ministry. But one thing I have learned
-
throughout the the many years of ministry, 11 years of ministry
-
is that man Satan hates you and he hates me.
-
The enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy his number one
-
focus and drive is to RIP faith from you or try to take away
-
from you or rob you or get you in a negative confession or
-
saying what I'm trying to get it in in English here translation
-
help me baby get it. What am I trying to say?
-
She doesn't know cuz she's not listening, trying to call a
-
Contra Bukia Palavagis, speak against what the word says.
-
He is your adversary. He ain't your friend and he
-
wants to steal from you, kill from you, destroy you, barriers
-
that come in your life. But glory to God, there's always
-
a blessing on this either side. And this morning, what I want to
-
do the next three hours I have with you.
-
Amen. There's no time.
-
So I can just preach as long as I want to.
-
I'm just kidding. Actually, I timed your pastors
-
when they were in our church at a little stopwatch, and I was
-
like, OK, that's how long I'm gonna preach in their church.
-
I'm just kidding. No, I'm just kidding.
-
Amen. It's Uncle Migo.
-
Are you with me still? I can hear heaven's declaring.
-
I I it's difficult to preach at this church.
-
I there's so much that God is saying.
-
I don't know how you preach, apostle.
-
It's like heaven is open in this place.
-
Hallelujah. I know it's a pole behind me,
-
but it feels like Jesus. You know what I'm saying?
-
How do you preach in this? This is really hard.
-
Oh, don't preach it. Don't speak in tongues, brother.
-
I'm gonna get distracted. We start prophesying over here.
-
OK, so focus on my notes. Here we go.
-
I can hear heaven declaring. Come on, Saints and sons, come
-
on, Saints and sons, there's much more to do.
-
Come on. There are mighty barriers, but
-
there are greater blessings on the other side.
-
And the title of my message this morning, the Lord gave it to me
-
the other night. He said, Josh, I want you to
-
teach him about grit, how to get grit, or how to have grit.
-
I don't know if that's right. Not grits, but grit.
-
Amen. And he said this, no grits, no
-
glory. Start with me now.
-
No grits, no glory. Say with me, no grits, no glory.
-
I'm gonna teach you how to fight the fight of faith, Amen.
-
I know your faith people, but sometimes a brother has to come
-
in and just kind of stir you up a little bit.
-
Amen. Apostle Earl, Apostle Marcy came
-
to our church, preached the same messages that I've been
-
preaching forever, but the people finally got it.
-
I don't understand what's up with that.
-
They're like, Oh my gosh, I've never heard of this Kingdom
-
message. I'm like, I've been preaching
-
this for years, but a brother will come in just to stir your
-
faith. Amen.
-
Hallelujah, glory. Let me just jump ahead here.
-
Go to first Timothy chapter 6, verse 12.
-
No grit, no glory. That's what we're going to call
-
it this morning. No grits, no glory.
-
And I promise you I won't keep you all day.
-
First Timothy chapter 6 verse 12, Paul says this Hallelujah
-
fight, the good fights of faith. Is that right?
-
Is that the right Scripture fights, say fights, the good
-
fights of faith. Now some translations say the
-
true faith. I like that.
-
The true faith, which means there is faith that is true and
-
then there is fraudulent faith. There is faith that is true that
-
keeps holding on to the promises of God regardless of what it
-
looks like. But there is fraudulent faith
-
that when trials and tribulations come, those people
-
run from the fight. Oh, pastor, I'm with you.
-
I'm we're together in this thing.
-
And then when you start preaching messages that
-
challenge them, they're like the first persons out the door,
-
first people out the door. But he says, fight the good
-
fight of faith or fight the good fight for the true faith.
-
Hold tightly. Another translation says, or lay
-
hold. I like that, 'cause we don't
-
have that translation in Portuguese.
-
Lay Holt, take possession. Hold tightly on to that thing,
-
to eternal life to which you were summoned and for which you
-
confessed the good confession of faith before many witnesses.
-
Now, again, I know you know faith, and this might seem
-
elementary, but it is very important for what I am here to
-
do. Amen.
-
Now, I don't have money. I am not a multimillionaire.
-
Well, I'm a dominionaire. That's what I'm Amen.
-
That message changed my life. Amen.
-
I'll never forget that camp meeting.
-
I was sitting way in the back with her and I was like, who is
-
this guy? I didn't know who you are.
-
Like who's this guy? And he starts preaching, I'm
-
like, who is this guy? And then I, I, I saw his wife
-
and I was like, who are these people?
-
And all of a sudden I'm just weeping.
-
I'm like, oh, Jesus, praise God. I had never heard a message like
-
that in my life. Praise God.
-
So going back here, it's not like a negative confession here,
-
but I am not a millionaire in the sense of I'm not like I
-
don't have all the finances to help fund what God is going to
-
do here, but I've got faith, Amen.
-
I am rich in faith, Amen. And I'm going to connect my
-
faith to your faith and we're going to go to the other side.
-
I am a professional at believing God for things that look
-
impossible. I'm a professional at believing
-
and praying and putting my knees on the ground and saying God
-
Almighty. I will lay hold of that promise.
-
No grit, no glory, Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
OK, let's get back to the Scripture here.
-
Maybe just if I need to move along, just do one of these.
-
OK? To which you were summoned.
-
OK, which you confess the good confession of faith before many
-
witnesses. How many of you know that faith
-
is not a suggestion? Faith, according to Hebrews,
-
pleases God. And the Bible is clear that it
-
is the righteous that must live by faith, because without faith
-
it is impossible to please God. Faith not only pleases God, but
-
it also moves God. It moves God in your favor.
-
God wants to move for you. He wants to move for anchor
-
Faith Church. And so faith is absolutely
-
necessary. Hallelujah.
-
Not only is faith necessary, but faith also has a voice.
-
Amen. I'll just teach you some basic
-
principles here. But faith has a voice.
-
Faith speaks. Hallelujah.
-
Faith begins in the heart, but it ends in the mouth, right?
-
Faith begins here in in my heart.
-
I'll never forget when God called us to Brazil.
-
It was an inward knowing. It was God saying go now, but
-
eventually we had to get to a point to where the faith within
-
my heart, Amen, that was activated in my heart had to be
-
completed in my mouth and I had to begin to speak and to declare
-
what was in my heart, Amen. Every place we see in the Bible
-
where faith is described, it, it, it, it speaks about or it
-
says that faith speaks, it has a voice, it, it is influenced,
-
Hallelujah. It is motivated, is moved by our
-
mouth. Are you with me?
-
OK, I'm getting to a point here. Faith, we know, comes by hearing
-
and hearing by the word of Gods. It comes by hearing that
-
prophetic word, that anointed word that has the power to
-
transform. The Word of God is alive and
-
active. It is dynamic.
-
These are just scriptures. You know these things.
-
It is alive, it is active as dynamic.
-
It is anointed. And when that word comes to my
-
ears, it's not only anointed, but it has the power to set me
-
free, to heal me, but also to change and to help me get to the
-
other side, to change my perspective but also move me to
-
move with God. Amen.
-
Let me give you one more scripture.
-
We'll move forward here. Hebrews 11/6.
-
You could probably quote this Scripture, but it's, it's, it's
-
good to hear it again. But without faith, it is
-
impossible to walk with God. Please him.
-
For whoever comes near to God must believe that God exists and
-
that he is a rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently
-
seek him. So once again, faith is not
-
merely a suggestion. Faith is a commandment.
-
Walking by faith, but not just walking by faith, but also
-
fighting the good fight. There's a fight, Amen.
-
And I have learned in the many years of being on the mission
-
field and doing the work of the apostle, planting churches and
-
dealing with people, is that it requires a fight, but not a
-
fight with the people. Our fight is not according to
-
the flesh and blood or it is not a fight of the flesh and blood,
-
but is what's the scripture in English?
-
Remind me is our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but they
-
are mighty and tearing down strongholds that our fight is
-
not against flesh and blood, but against every principality and
-
power of the air. Are you with me now?
-
So there is a fight, but glory to God, it is a good fight,
-
Amen. Matthew 77, let's just let's
-
move forward. I'm going to give you some
-
scriptures lay some foundation that I want to speak a prophetic
-
word into your life. Amen.
-
Matthew 77 reveals to us the results of a faith that is
-
functional. It is a faith that speaks.
-
It is a faith that declares, OK, Jesus says this.
-
Keep on asking, and you might receive what you ask for.
-
If you if that's what your translation says, you've got
-
your Bible at the wrong place. OK, you might want to return
-
that at the Woo, woo. What's a woo?
-
Woo, woo, woo. What's Wawa?
-
I had never heard of Wawa. Yeah, yeah.
-
I went there today. I was like, this is like
-
QuikTrip. It's QuikTrip, but Wawa.
-
Woo, woo. What's it called?
-
Wawa. That's a very interesting name
-
for a a gas station. But if you bought your Bible at
-
Wawa, you might wanna take it back.
-
Amen. OK, because it says keep on
-
asking and you will receive what you ask for.
-
Faith has a voice. Faith is functional.
-
Faith declares Hallelujah. You got to get some grit in you.
-
Hey man, keep on seeking and you will find.
-
Keep on knocking in the door. We'll be open to you for
-
everyone who asks receives. Glory to God.
-
When I read that scripture, I was like, Oh my God Almighty, I
-
am everyone. I'm, I'm there.
-
That's me. No, I know I might be like
-
that's just elementary. That's just basic.
-
But basic Bible changed my life. Basic Bible got me to Brazil.
-
Please go for everyone who asks. Oh, we've got much to do, babe.
-
We got a we got a central campus that's going to seat about 1200
-
people. I don't got no money to.
-
I mean, we literally walked into that place by faith.
-
You have to see it to to I wish we had a photo to show you it is
-
the most ghetto it it is the most I mean it's below ghetto.
-
If ghetto had a ugly stepbrother, that's then is that
-
it is so ghetto. It is so dilapidated.
-
But I walked in that place and I said, I've got an another
-
opportunity to prove that God's word works.
-
Hallelujah. One more opportunity to ask, one
-
more opportunity to seek, one more opportunity to knock.
-
Do you got a grit in you? Do you got grit in you?
-
Has anchor Faith lost its grit? I don't know if I believe you.
-
Has anchor faith lost its grit? Have you gotten comfortable
-
sitting in your recline seat with your little cup holder?
-
You better get you better get on your feet and say we're going
-
tomorrow. We're going today.
-
Hey, man, you've got to get a grid in you and say we need one
-
more opportunity to ask, one more opportunity to seek, one
-
more opportunity to knock. Whoa.
-
Don't get comfortable, church. You can sit down, but don't get
-
comfortable for everyone who asks.
-
Receive everyone. Thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you. Jesus.
-
We need $500,000 right to do our total renovation to go into I I
-
don't have 500 Mass. I do.
-
That's a bad confession. I've got it.
-
I've got it. I've got it.
-
I've got it. I've got it.
-
It's in heavenly places, but I've got it.
-
And then I'm gonna take take possession.
-
Amen. If you don't want the sermon,
-
I'll take it for myself. And then I'm gonna take
-
possession today. I've got grit.
-
I called Apostle Earl. We were in the car and we were
-
talking. I was telling him Apostle man,
-
I'm feeling a little, I was a little sad and like a little we
-
were talking about this. I said, man, I'll post.
-
I feel like I'm in a weird season right now.
-
Everything seems like it's going great, but I'm just really
-
discouraged. I'm just really discouraged
-
right now. I feel like I don't feel like I
-
got faith anymore. I feel like I don't got the
-
faith that I had when I was like that crazy 22 year old.
-
Like I'm gonna take the nations. I feel like I've gotten
-
comfortable. After I hung up the phone, the
-
Lord told me no grit, no glory, no grit, no glory.
-
Sometimes you got to talk to the man of God to get a word from
-
God. Amen.
-
No grit, no glory. I was like, oh, that's good.
-
He said, Joshua, you got to get some grit in you again.
-
You got to get some grit. You got to get some grit.
-
You got to get some grit in you again, son, You got to.
-
I've got much to do, son. I've got much to do with you,
-
son. Sons and daughters, I've got
-
much to do with you. But what I have provided in
-
grace must be, oh, what's that? What?
-
I wrote it down right here. What has been provided to you by
-
Grace will have to be acquired by faith.
-
Now, I didn't say that. That was Keith Moore.
-
Amen. I love Keith Moore.
-
Give him some credit. Keith Moore said, He said what
-
must, what has been provided to me by grace will have to be
-
acquired by me by faith. Tyson, does that make sense?
-
God provides the grace, but we take possession by faith.
-
That's in salvation or that's in any aspect of the Kingdom.
-
I must take hold of it by faith. I must have a grit in me to say
-
if God said it, I believe it and that settles it in my heart.
-
That's Pastor Hagen. That's my pastor.
-
If God said it, not believing not settles in my house.
-
Pastor Hagan, old country. I love that.
-
If God said it, I believe it. That settles in my heart and I'm
-
going to take hold of that. And then I'm going to apply my
-
faith with a functional faith. I am going to ask, I'm going to
-
receive or I'm going to seek and I'm going to knock.
-
Amen. Sure.
-
Let me give you 3 points and we're going to go home.
-
Write this down. Three points, 3 points and I'm
-
not calling myself a actually, this is not me what I'm saying I
-
but when I say the prophet, I'm actually speaking about your,
-
your apostle here in this moment.
-
Amen. As I'm going to say this, that
-
when the prophet comes to throw a vision upon you, you better
-
take hold of it and run with that vision.
-
Are you with me? And you have to get a grit in
-
you, a faith in you that takes hold or lays hold of that
-
prophetic words. Are you with me?
-
You have to dig into it. Three things have to happen when
-
the prophet comes to throw his mantle or his vision upon you.
-
Three things. Number one, write this down.
-
It's not three things that need to happen.
-
I don't even know how to articulate this, but my just
-
write it down. My behavior will block my
-
blessing. That's the first point.
-
If I don't change my behaviour, the blessing will be blocked.
-
The prophet can come and he can declare and he can, he can speak
-
about a vision, but if your behaviour is not aligned to the
-
Kingdom perspective, he will not get you a blessing.
-
The blessings of God are always yes and Amen in Christ Jesus,
-
but we have to take possession of those blessings.
-
We have to lay hold of those blessings.
-
We have to act in faith to receive those blessings.
-
But behavior, and I've, I've seen this so many times when it
-
comes to church planting and church projects and, and moving
-
forward is that if people's behavior is not aligned with
-
God's perspective, it won't happen.
-
It won't happen. Now, I'm not saying, I think and
-
by the Spirit, there are sometimes these and even maybe
-
here, if I may be so bold to say, there's sometimes not,
-
there might be behaviors and the behavior is just kind of
-
comfortable, right? Or just some kind of
-
comfortable. I'm tired of doing projects.
-
I'm I'm tired of it, You know, I just want to sit and receive and
-
that's good and that's, that's OK.
-
But man, when God is moving, you have to move with God.
-
And so the Lord says to you with these kind of botched 3 points,
-
but I believe they're prophetic and they're good that my that
-
your behavior will block your blessings.
-
You have to how do you say modify, modify or adjust your
-
behavior this morning? Are you with me?
-
You have to modify your behavior.
-
The only way to get great in you to get the glory is if your
-
behavior is appropriate. Are you with me now?
-
And I'll explain this here in just a second.
-
But let me give you the points. And we're going to read a story,
-
and then we're going to finish the second point.
-
And this will make more sense in just a moment.
-
My repentance will restore my rights.
-
OK, So behavior is critical, but also repentance too.
-
Repentance, repentance, repentance, repentance will
-
restore your right #3 this is a miracle.
-
I've never been able to give three points in a sermon.
-
I'm always say, like, write this down.
-
I never get to it. But just going to give them all
-
to you at the beginning. My persistence provokes my
-
promise. Write it down.
-
My persistence provokes my promise.
-
So #1 there's going to be a test afterwards.
-
Number one, my behavior blocks my blessing #2 my, my repentance
-
restores my right, my right to take hold of the blessing,
-
right? My right to say, OK, Lord,
-
please forgive me. I was in doubt.
-
I was, I was in fear. So Lord, please forgive me.
-
The Lord says, my grace and my grace is sufficient for you.
-
Amen. He's already forgiven us, but
-
it's good for the Saint to repent.
-
It's good for us to come to the altar and say, Lord, forgive me.
-
Not that I'm trying to win something from God, but it
-
changes something in me. It humbles me.
-
God says humble yourselves before the hand of the Almighty
-
God and he will lift you up in due time.
-
OK? And my persistence provokes my
-
promise. Open your Bibles and we're gonna
-
finish here first. Kings chapter 19, verse 19.
-
I hope that you got something this morning.
-
I pray that you got something. I pray that you're getting
-
something. I pray that you're getting
-
something here first. Kings 1919 in Brazil.
-
We'll preach for like 2-3 hours. It's crazy, but I don't want to
-
overstay. I want Pastor Apostle to invite
-
me back. So I gotta wrap this mother up.
-
OK, so three hours, four hours. But today is going to be a
-
quickie. OK, but here we go first.
-
Actually, how long have I been preaching?
-
Yeah, 36 minutes. That's good.
-
First, Kings chapter 1919, go to your Bibles there.
-
Let's go. I want to read a story here,
-
this story after the Lord spoke to me and said no grit, no
-
glory, the Lord brought me to this scripture and he said,
-
Joshua, I want you, I want you to teach the people there at
-
anchor, and I want you to be taught, son, about how to get
-
your grit back. But grit can only come if your
-
behavior is correct, if there's repentance and if there's
-
persistence. OK, so let's read the story here
-
first. Kings, 1919.
-
So Elijah went and found Elijah, son of I'm not a good.
-
What is that? Shafat.
-
Yeah, that's good. Sounds good, Shafat.
-
Plowing of fields. There were twelve teams of
-
oxygen in the field and Elijah was plowing with the 12 team.
-
Elijah went over to him and threw his mentor, his cloak upon
-
him, across his shoulders, and then he walked away.
-
I love the prophet Elijah. This guy was like, I don't care.
-
He he wasn't about performance. He's just like, I'm going to do
-
it and if this guy gets it, he's going to get it.
-
He throws it up on the the young man.
-
He walks away. Elijah left the oxen standing
-
there ran after the prophet Elijah and said to him first,
-
this, this is where he kind of went went wrong first.
-
When the word of God comes to you, be quick to obey.
-
When the prophetic word comes to you, be quick to obey.
-
Take lay hold of that word quickly so the enemy doesn't
-
come and rob your confidence. When God spoke to us to move to
-
Brazil, he said go now. The next day we sold everything.
-
We are ready to go. First let me go and kiss my
-
father and mother goodbye and then and then I will go with
-
you. Elijah responded.
-
Some translations say go back and but he says, oh what have I
-
done? This translation says, but think
-
about what I have done to you. Now I could be wrong and apostle
-
can correct me, but I feel like, and I could be wrong that the
-
prophet's a little irritated with this guy.
-
I could be wrong and he says, what have I done?
-
Go back and think about what I have just thrown the mantle upon
-
you and you're telling me that you got to get your affairs and
-
orders, even Jesus. This happened to Jesus once,
-
right? The man comes, I'm going to
-
follow you, but first let me go back and bury my father and he
-
said let the dead bury the dead. When the word comes to you that
-
advancement is nigh, you must be quick to respond.
-
You must get a grit in you and say, if God said it, I'm going
-
with God. Who?
-
Hallelujah. There are many believers who
-
will never experience the blessings of the Lord because
-
they are stuck behind a barrier called behavior.
-
Their behavior, God comes with his word.
-
They say, hey God, that sounds good, but give me a few moments
-
and then I'll do it. This prophet man, he was the
-
rainmaker, the fire starter, his cloak.
-
You could still smell the smoke. You could see the pieces of
-
blood from the prophets that have been laid, you know, kept
-
slain. I, I mean, the Mansell fell upon
-
the Chauvin. The kid looks at the Mansell.
-
He knows who this guy is, but didn't understand the weight of
-
it. His behavior blocked his
-
blessing. When apostle launches a vision
-
and that vision comes upon you, you better not say, well, when
-
it's convenient, then we'll go. You better say, yes, Sir, let's
-
go, let's go. Because if God said it to the
-
man of God, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going,
-
we're going. OK, let's move forward here.
-
So Elijah, and this is the second point here, my repentance
-
restores my right. But listen to Joven.
-
The young man makes a quick adjustment in his heart, and we
-
see this. So Elijah returned to his ox and
-
slaughtered them. He used the wood from the plow
-
to build a fire to roast their flesh.
-
He passed around the meat to the townspeople, and they all ate.
-
Praise God. What a generous young man.
-
Then he went with Elijah as his assistant.
-
Are you going to go with God this morning?
-
Are you going to repent and say, Lord, forgive me for for, for
-
not being quick with my generosity.
-
Forgive me for not being quick with my faith.
-
Forgive me for not being quick with my confession.
-
Forgive me, Lord, and I feel I'm not speaking to ever, but I'm
-
speaking to a couple people here.
-
I can sense it in my spirit that you have been speaking
-
negatively against this project and you have been passing this
-
building and you have been saying in your heart, it's never
-
going to happen. Is don't raise your hand because
-
we're going to stone you. If that's, I'm just kidding, is
-
never going to happen is that an apostle gets up and he says this
-
and they're like, oh, here we go one more time, one more time,
-
one more day. Oh, we as the community of
-
people of believers must be in unity, must be in unity, must be
-
of 1 faith, 1 baptism, 1 Spirit, one voice saying come on, we're
-
going, we are moving, we're moving, I'm ready to go.
-
Amen. Repentance restores your rights
-
to take hold of the promise. Finally, Hallelujah.
-
Go to Second Kings chapter 2, one through 16.
2 Kings 2 chapter mention
-
As I said, my persistence provokes my blessing.
-
I've been teaching you about how to get some grit in you.
-
Amen. Starts first with your behavior
-
#2 it starts second, it starts with repentance.
-
And 3rd, it's persistence. Persistence, persistence,
-
persistence, persistence. I may not be the most gifted
-
oratorial speaker. I might not be the most eloquent
-
speaker or the best plan, Sir, but I'll tell you this, I am
-
persistent. I am very persistent.
-
And I have learned persistence because the only way I'm get a
-
hold of my promise is with persistence.
-
And then when the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a
-
whirlwind, Elijah, Elijah and Elijah were travelling from
-
Gilgal. And Elijah said to Elijah, stay
-
here for Lord has told me to go to Bethel.
-
But Elijah and listen to the young man has changed his
-
behavior. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. He has now walked with the man
-
of God. He has walked with the prophet.
-
He has learned from the prophet. Faith cometh by hearing and
-
hearing by the word of God. So the young boy has faith in
-
him. And now look at his confession.
-
It's not let me go back and get things in order.
-
He says, whoa. He says as surely as the Lord
-
lives and as you live, he says I'm never going to leave you.
-
I already had that that behavior in the past and it almost ruined
-
my blessing. But I'm not.
-
Wherever you go, I'm going. So if you're here, I'm here.
-
If you're there, I'm there. I'm going with you because
-
you're going with God. And wherever you go, I'm going.
-
Amen. Hallelujah.
-
Stay here. What you talking about?
-
I'm not going to stay here. I'm not going to miss my
-
opportunity. You've got something that I've
-
once I felt that anointing, I felt that vision.
-
I felt it upon me. It changed me.
-
It moved me and I wasn't ready for it.
-
But I'm ready for it now. I'm ready for.
-
He didn't tell the Prophet right away, but he says I'm not going
-
anywhere because you've got something.
-
They've got something I want. That's why I'm close to them.
-
When I met the Mac Cracker Barrel, I was like, these two
-
got something that I want and it's not money.
-
It's not it's not an opportunity to speak.
-
No, no, no. It's what they they have
-
something that I want. They're generals in the faith.
-
I'm a soldier. I'm gonna say wherever you go,
-
I'm going Hallelujah. I got I'm sorry, guys, I'm going
-
long here. I apologize as surely as the
-
Lord lives. So they went together to Bethel
-
and here comes the critical Christians, right?
-
OK. It was like, well, the prophets
-
were just share and share in their mind.
-
And in my opinion, I don't think that they were.
-
Listen to how Elijah, Elijah responds and look at this.
-
Look at this. The group of prophets from
-
Bethel came to Elijah and asked him, don't you know, brother in
-
the Lord, the Lord is going to take your master today.
-
They're all walking together and they probably didn't talk like
-
that, but they're there. They're like, Hey, don't you
-
know? Don't you know, Don't you know?
-
And Elijah's like, you better shut your mouth.
-
You don't think I know? I don't care because where he
-
goes, I go, and wherever he goes, he going up, I'm going up.
-
He says, look, he says, he says, of course I know.
-
He, he may not really know. He's just probably saying it by
-
faith. Maybe he does know.
-
Who knows? Of course I know, Elijah
-
answered. But be quiet about it in like
-
the 21st language. That's like, shut up.
-
It wasn't just be quiet about it.
-
It was shut up, brother. Shut your mouth.
-
Sometimes you got to tell those people who are saying, don't you
-
know? It's not, hey, don't you know?
-
Don't you know, don't you know, you're like, OK, yeah, just shut
-
your mouth, please. I don't care.
-
I don't care if the man of God said it.
-
I'm going with the man of God. OK, Let's finish up here then,
-
Elijah said to Elijah, second time here, stay here, for the
-
Lord has told me to go to Jericho.
-
But Elijah responded again. Surely I thought I already said
-
this to you, Sir. But as surely as in some of you
-
this morning need to come up to your apostles after cheer and
-
say as surely as the Lord, what's he say?
-
He says, he says as surely as the Lord lives and as you
-
yourself live, I will never leave you.
-
I'm never going to leave you. I'm not going to leave you.
-
I'm not going to leave you. I'm not going to leave this
-
vision. They might go, but I'm not going
-
nowhere. They might go through the door,
-
but I'm not going nowhere. I'm right here, right now and
-
I'm ready. I'm ready.
-
I'm ready. Breo So a rema A4 E carre a si
-
yo brocotos. Ebro sibe O riste Kano Otto tis
-
de la brov. There will be many sons, and
-
many sons will rise up, and daughters who will rise up, and
-
who will come? And say, Apostle Apostola,
-
surely the Lord lives. I will not leave you.
-
And as they come and come, and many shall come, many shall come
-
from many places, shall come to this place, and they will sit at
-
your table. And they will say, teach us,
-
instruct us, as there have been many sons before, many more
-
shall come. And they will say unto you, not
-
that I am interested in your mantle, not that I'm interested
-
in in trying to get something from you.
-
But surely, as the Lord has said, or I was, I got to get
-
that in my heart. I'm going to say that He's so.
-
It's different in Portuguese. He as surely as the Lord lives,
-
and as you live, the Lord lives forever, we will not leave you.
-
And as they come and come, and many shall come and sit at the
-
table, and the table shall be greater and expanding in great
-
Profunji Dajji depth. Hallelujah.
-
I'm a I'm a prophecy in Portuguese.
-
It's it's the way I'm accustomed to do it and.
-
The table will be extended and many chairs will be placed at
-
the table, and many sons and daughters will come and sit at
-
the table and they will not be interested in the meal that's
-
before them, but they will sit because they are sons and
-
daughters. And of course the the meal
-
before them is important and crucial, but they come because
-
they desire community. They desire to be LED, they
-
desire to be stretched. And the Lord is saying the table
-
will be great. The table will start here and it
-
will go to the other side of the world, and it will be a large
-
table and the Lord will do it and it will be supernatural.
-
And He is the head at the head of the table, and you 2 are on
-
the other end, not just one, but both 2 sitting at the head, at
-
one head. The head is Jesus, and at the
-
foot of the apostles. And many sons and daughters will
-
sit at the table. And you'll be given to give
-
instructions, divine instructions, divine
-
instructions. And.
-
That's the point. No, yes, you point.
-
This is the point the Lord is saying.
-
Quando, Corporal, when this body permits these two to enter.
-
Into their divine calling others will then be able to enter into
-
their divine. And I see in my spirit, the
-
minute that they rise up, a mantle will descend.
-
A mantle will come upon the shoulders of many young people,
-
many young people, many young. People.
-
And there will. Never be need.
-
There will. Never be a need for people for
-
the expansion. As sober principles.
-
It's not about principles. Natural principles it's.
-
About a divine calling. And.
-
The calling of. God is.
-
Upon you too, and the Lord is saying.
-
Your. Time to rise up is now.
-
Do not be afraid, because God will say many.
-
Many. Sons and daughters.
-
Moment and. Because you taught.
-
Them not only. Before them, in the meal before
-
them. No mountain there.
-
And don't misunderstand. Crucial of.
-
Course food isn't. But when people come scandal
-
seeking. Just for the food.
-
And. Not for the the location.
-
And the. The heart would be.
-
When? They come by faith.
-
And. They take a place at the.
-
Those are the true. Signs.
-
And that's how you'll be able to.
-
Just they are. If they are true.
-
If they are false if they're. Faithful.
-
Or if they're fraudulent. Fraudulent.
-
There you will see. A cabe de lis.
-
Their. Head.
-
Turning. From towards.
-
The head of the team or. They'll.
-
Look the other way. They're.
-
Looking at the other way. They will see it in pesos and.
-
If there are. People.
-
Who just look down for the next meal.
-
That's. How you will identify?
-
The source Verdadero. Those who are, trust.
-
The source Frouchy. For those who are.
-
False yes, the source Verdadero and the true no so into the sad.
-
They're not interested, no. There's no kiddies, Portugal
-
just. What they'll eat.
-
That's all kiddies, Portugal. They're.
-
Interested, not what they will. Not.
-
Receive not the not strong fee food but living breath.
-
Will survive there. Will see.
-
More to feel his sons will come. I'm telling you, I'm telling
-
you. I'm telling you, I'm telling
-
you, I'm telling you, I pray you belief, I pray you understand
-
church. It is a great table, a great
-
banquet being laid before us in this hour.
-
And the Lord is saying, oh, it is my church and I will build my
-
church and the gates of hell will not prevail.
-
I will build my church and I will build my church and I will
-
continue to build my church. Be not afraid, joy set before
-
you. Be not afraid or discouraged
-
joy. The joy is set before you.
-
We win, we win, we win, we win as surely as the Lord lives.
-
Let me finish description I got to I got to wrap this up.
-
It's Uncle me. Are you with me or were you all
-
raptured up? Come on now, of course, do you
-
know that the Lord is going to take your mouse away?
-
Elijah says second time, be quiet about it, Elijah said.
-
Oh, this is now the second time here they crossed over the
-
Jordan a little bit lost when they came to the other sides,
-
when they came to the other, when they came to the other
-
side. Are you ready, Church?
-
There are some there's I can sense it in my spirit.
-
There are sons and daughters. And it's not just Jovens young
-
people, it's of all ages. Many sons and daughters have
-
crossed over in the spirit. I just sensed it in my spirit.
-
They've crossed over. And the prophet says to the
-
young man, tell me what I can do for you.
-
Persistence will enable you to lay hold of your promise.
-
What can I do for you? For I am about to be taken away.
-
And Elijah responded, not let me go home, but please honor.
-
There's honor. Look at there's the honor,
-
there's the humility. Please let me inherit a double
-
portion of your spirit and become your successor.
-
You have asked the difficult thing.
-
Elijah was applied. But if you see me when I'm taken
-
away, then you will get your request.
-
But if not, then you won't. Once again the the young man
-
must take possession. And they were walking along the
-
way, and suddenly a chair of fire appeared.
-
Drawn by horses of fire. It drove between the two men,
-
separating them. There will be people that will
-
stay to be planted in here and people to go to other places.
-
Hallelujah. I see it in my spirit, the
-
Spirit of God coming into this place and separating.
-
Some will stay. Some will go in the sense that
-
some will stay because they're called to the central.
-
Others will go because they're called to go.
-
Plants Church, you better. I hope you're ready for what's
-
to come already is to go. If you don't want to grow, then
-
OK, whatever. But I, your apostles want to
-
grow. So Oh my, if you don't, I'll
-
just move to Saint Augustine and help Apostle.
-
Amen. I've never said that before, but
-
if you don't do it, I'll come and do it.
-
That's how convicted I am. If you don't do it, I'll do it.
-
But I believe there's sons and daughters in here that will do
-
it. Amen.
-
Are there people here that will do it?
-
Are there people here that will do it?
-
Are you ready? Are there people here that say
-
I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, Yeah, they're show, bro.
-
So people, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready,
-
I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready. I may not be qualified, but I'm
-
ready. I may not be equipped, but I'm
-
ready. You might want to take a mental
-
image of that right there. Click, click in the spirit.
-
You can take a sit seat. The Lord sees you.
-
OK, Pat apostle me. I'm sorry.
-
I'm almost done. I'm almost done.
-
I'm like I'm I'm just seeing a moving glory.
-
I go like a cloud of glory. It's really hard for me to see
-
my iPad. OK.
-
Fire came separate him. Elijah goes up.
-
Elisha saw it and cried out. My father, my father.
-
I see the Chariots and tears of Israel.
-
I can see it. I didn't understand it before.
-
I didn't see it when it was upon me.
-
But now I see it. I have eyes to see.
-
I can see what you see. I have the perspective that you
-
have. Elisha the the man soul fell
-
down. Elijah picked up Elijah's cloak
-
which had fallen when he was taken up.
-
Then Elijah returned to the Bank of the Jordan with the mantle
-
upon his shoulders. Now ready to crossover him.
-
He takes the mantle or the cloak.
-
He strikes the water and he declares, Where is the Lord God
-
of Israel or Elijah? Where is the God of Elijah?
-
In the river divided Elijah winter cross.
-
When the group of prophets from Jericho saw from a distance what
-
happened, they explained Elijah's spirit now rest upon
-
Elijah, and they went to meet him and bow to the ground.
-
A time is coming, apostles, where the critics and those who
-
abandoned the vision will come back and they will bow not.
-
And it's not bowing like you. You understand It is a
-
repentance, repentance, repentance, repentance.
-
And because you 2 have humble hearts, you will not hold it
-
over their heads. You will take the hands.
-
May not give them the same position they had before.
-
I don't know. No, probably not a good idea.
-
But USA, all is forgiven. Let us go.
-
Get ready, Church. Get ready.
-
Get ready, Get ready. Amen.
-
No grit, no glory. No grit, no glory.
