Escape - Kingdom Judgement

-
So today I want to talk to you about escape.
-
Are in the words of Dora of Finding Nemo, escape.
-
Amen. So we're going to escape because
-
there is a judgment, Amen. You understand that we we run in
-
circles when it comes to, you know, people that we tend to
-
listen to and gravitate towards where, you know, we all always
-
are talking about victory or faith in these particular
-
things. But sometimes we lose
-
perspective that there is a judgment, Amen.
-
And so I want to look at this here from Second Peter, chapter
2 Peter 3 chapter mention
-
3, verses one and two. And I've got quite a few things
-
we want to cover today, so we'll be very diligent.
-
But it says that Peter writing this particular letter says
-
this. This is now beloved, the second
-
letter I'm writing to you in which I am stirring up your
-
sincere mind by way of reminder for many of you.
-
I'm going to remind some things for some in here.
-
It may be something you've never heard before.
-
He goes on to say that you should remember the word spoken
-
beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord
-
and Savior spoken by your apostles.
-
Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come
-
with their mocking, following after their own lusts and
-
saying, where is the promise of His coming forever since the
-
fathers fell asleep? All continues just as it was
-
from the beginning of creation. Let me stop right here for a
-
moment. Listen, I want you to know that
-
yes, there have been generations before us that have talked about
-
the coming. In fact, every generation has to
-
have a revelation of His coming again.
-
It is not something that we should think about.
-
Well, it happened. Put it on the shelf.
-
Have no thought. In fact, the Bible tells us to
-
look up and see that our redemption draweth nigh.
-
You know, I've been pastoring and, and, and, and, and as an
-
apostle of this particular location for 21 years.
-
And of the 21 years, I've never been more impressed in my spirit
-
concerning the return of Jesus. And it's because there are
-
things happening within the planet right now that is letting
-
us know that it is extremely likely that he could come in our
-
generation. Now, you can discredit that and
-
say, well, I don't know. And you know what?
-
No one technically knows, only the Father.
-
But it would be in your best interest to have faith for in
-
your generation, then you to put it on a shelf and act like it's
-
not and only for it to happen and you miss out.
-
Are you hearing me? So with that being said, we need
-
to understand that the Lord is is coming and there are a lot in
-
these last days that are going to mock that are going to act
-
like it's not this way, that they are basically more
-
concerned about the things of this earth than the return of
-
the king. Verse 5 says, For when they
-
maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God
-
the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of
-
the water, and by water through which the world at that time was
-
destroyed, being flooded with water.
-
But by His word, the present heavens and earth are being
-
reserved for what? They're being reserved for what?
-
For fire kept for the day of judgment and destruction of
-
ungodly men, there is a fire that is kept for a day of
-
judgement and destruction of ungodly men.
-
And in our planet where there are over 8 billion people, of
-
which only about 2 billion attest to be Christians.
-
And if you started to talk to the 2 billion, there may be some
-
challenges of whether they're actually born again or not.
-
Because not every church that is by the world standard considered
-
a Christian Church actually believes that Jesus died.
-
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave.
-
And he's the only way to the Father through his blood,
-
through the forgiveness of sin, through a confession of faith
-
that Jesus Christ is your Lord. So it could be even less, which
-
tells me that right now on our planet, at least 6 billion
-
people are considered ungodly to the father of which destruction
-
is imminent in their lives. What does that do for you?
-
What should that do for us in the church?
-
Are we going to continue to be casual?
-
Are we going to continue to just sit back in our air conditions
-
facility and think only about how we prosper, how we are
-
victorious, how we're going to overcome while 6 billion are
-
marked for destruction? You are passing by people day in
-
and day out that have the smell of Hell's flames on their lives
-
and we're not even taking notice.
-
Say Amen. Anyway, so there is a fire that
-
is reserved and kept for a day of judgment.
-
Look what it says in Romans chapter 6 verse 23.
-
You know this. It says for the wages of sin is
-
but the free gift of Jesus Christ or of God is eternal life
-
in Christ Jesus our Lord. It still is applicable today
-
that the wages of sin is death and there is ungodly people that
-
death is their future eternal punishment.
-
See, today there's a lot of things out there saying that
-
Hell's not even real. And honestly, I'm just going to
-
be extremely technical. The Bible calls it the lake of
-
fire. There is a lake of fire.
-
This is not hypothetical. This is not something that is
-
just of our imagination. This is not just something that
-
is mystical. This is a literal place that
-
exists because in the Kingdom of God there is a prison system,
-
and the prison system is the lake of fire where all
-
ungodliness will exist forever, being tormented because of their
-
ungodliness, their unrighteousness, solely because
-
they failed to confess Jesus Christ as Lord, because all have
-
sinned. You and I both were in this
-
position of sin. You and I both lived it, played
-
it, practiced it. Some of us would consider
-
ourselves professionals, and all the while we are marked for
-
destruction. But God?
-
But God? I said, But God.
-
Have we forgot but God? I mean, when we hear a song,
-
thank you for the cross, it should drive us to absolute to
-
our knees. It should put us in this place
-
where we are recognizing. But God, I was marked for
-
destruction. I was destined for the fire.
-
I should not be acquitted of my crime, but God being rich in his
-
mercy and he's still merciful for the 6 billion people on our
-
planet right now. But how can they be saved unless
-
somebody is saying something? Ephesians chapter 2 verses one
Ephesians 2 chapter mention
-
through 3 says this. You were dead in your trespasses
-
and sin in which you formerly walked according to the course
-
of this world, according to the Prince of the power of the air,
-
of the Spirit that is now working in the sons of
-
disobedience, 6 billion people on the planet today.
-
Their father is the devil, and they're disobedient.
-
Among who? Among them?
-
We too all formerly lived in the lust of our flesh, indulging the
-
desires of the flesh of the mod, and were by nature children of
-
wrath even as the rest, meaning that God was angry.
-
A lot of people are going around today saying God's not mad at
-
you. God is angry at sin and he is
-
storing wrath for the ungodly and the ungodly or ungodly
-
because they are sinners. Oh, you don't want to hear this?
-
How? Why is it that we're do?
-
Does God love everyone on the planet?
-
Yes, he does. Has he provided so that no one
-
has to be thrown into the lake of fire?
-
Yes, he has. But to say that he's not angry
-
is not scriptural. These are children of wrath.
-
When God sees them, He knows you don't have to be like that.
-
You don't have to act like that. You don't have to live that way.
-
I have paid the price for you. Didn't that person tell you
-
about me? Didn't that person tell you
-
about me? Didn't that person share about
-
me? Didn't that person say you have
-
no excuse to sit around acting like you acting when you can
-
confess me as Lord? And if you keep doing this, I am
-
coming. I am coming.
-
I am coming. Because he can love and still be
-
angry. All you have to do is read a
-
little bit of the Gospels and see when Jesus went into his
-
house that was supposed to be a place of prayer, love walked in
-
the room and turned tables over. And I'm telling you, God has no
-
place for the ungodly. He has provided for them to have
-
an escape. And they are without excuse.
-
Romans even says they're without excuse.
-
Just creation alone identifies the attributes of our Creator.
-
Come on. Amen.
-
And so we all live this way. We were children of wrath, but
-
because of our confession of faith, we came out.
-
But notice we were lived according to the lust of our
-
flesh. We indulge the desires of the
-
flesh and of the mind. We were by nature because all
-
have fallen short of the glory of God.
-
We were separated eternally, cut off from God.
-
How did this position tap take place in the earth?
-
Romans chapter 5 verse 12 says. Therefore, just as through one
-
man sin, one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, so
-
death spread to all men because all sinned.
-
How did? Who was this one man in Genesis
Genesis 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2? His name is Adam, for God told
-
Adam his son. He said, Adam, you can eat from
-
any tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of
-
good and evil, you shall not eat.
-
For the day you eat you will surely die.
-
He did not physically quit breathing.
-
He died spiritually. His spirit man was cut off.
-
And get this, this man who was made in the image of God, who
-
was given the ability to rule and reign the world, have
-
dominion, to take God's heavenly Kingdom and reproduce it on the
-
planet, sin simply by eating a fruit.
-
He didn't murder anybody. And all the lists of things that
-
we're going to see here in a minute.
-
He simply disobeyed his father and through 11 action of
-
disobedience when Dad came in the garden in the cool of the
-
day, just one action of disobedience, just doing not
-
what Father said. He didn't even want to be in his
-
presence. He was afraid and all he did was
-
disobey once. How in the world could we come
-
into His church and act like we could still toy with the world
-
and lift our hands and worship and think that He is OK?
-
Have we forgotten what we came out of?
-
And why would we ever want to go back?
-
Let me go on. So sin enters the earth because
-
Adam has fallen. We call it the fall.
-
Many people talk about the fall. Obviously there was a time
-
before the fall. There'll be a time after the
-
fall when everything is set right.
-
But we're in that moment right now, and there are actions,
-
behaviors. There is what is called sin that
-
God hates and it causes him to be angry and it causes him to
-
bring wrath. Now wrath isn't without mercy,
-
but it's wrath nonetheless. And we see this in the
-
documentation of our old covenant where God, when it when
-
his nation would disobey him repeatedly, eventually he had to
-
pull back and allow wrath to take place and they would cry
-
out. How long will you be angry with
-
us? And the reason he's angry is
-
because he has to let them know. You cannot live like this, like
-
the rest of the world, and expect my blessings.
-
You cannot live like the rest of the nations and have other gods
-
and expect me to be OK with it. No, I do what I say.
-
I said if you want to be blessed as a nation, you're going to do
-
these things. You will obey me, you will keep
-
my statute, you'll keep my commandment.
-
But if you do not, then all these things are going to take
-
place in your life. And he was merciful and he was
-
long-suffering. But there came a time that God
-
himself, who is the king, has to stay with his word.
-
And he says you are now my wrath is coming on the nation.
-
This nation will overtake you. You'll become a slave to it.
-
It will throw down your city. And all the while to remind
-
them, if you just stay with me, none of this would happen.
-
None of this would happen. And when they recognize you're
-
right, Lord, we're now in slavery because we went after
-
the gods of the other nation. We sacrificed our children.
-
We did this, we did that. Father, forgive us.
-
He was merciful, He forgave them, He gathered them back.
-
Boy is God rich in mercy. But we are not to live away so
-
that the mercy of God is constantly having to be in play.
-
Isaiah 311 says yes. Woe to the wicked Center, for
-
they will get exactly what they deserve.
-
People say all the time, you know what?
-
If he's such a loving God, how could he send someone to hell or
-
the lake of fire? He doesn't.
-
They want to go, He does because he gives them what they want.
-
Life without him, which isn't life, is actually death and it
-
is a punishment. It is torment.
-
It is a real location that exists.
-
Look what it says in Revelation 21, eight.
-
It says this. But As for the cowards, Oh, I
-
like this translation here. But As for the cowards, and the
-
ignoble, and the contemptible, and the cravingly lacking in
-
courage, and the cowardly submissive.
-
And As for the unbelieving and faithless?
-
And As for the depraved and defiled with abominations?
-
And As for the murderers and the lewd and the adulterous and the
-
practices of magic, art and the idolaters, those who give
-
supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God, and all
-
liars, those who knowingly covet untruth by word or deed, all of
-
these shall have their part in the lake that blazes with fire
-
and brimstone. This is the second death.
-
You're passing people every day that's destined for this
-
location. Every day destined.
-
Destined because they are cut off every day.
-
Oh, it's quiet in this Presbyterian Church.
-
Have we become so firm in our own personal victories?
-
I mean, we have been sold a personal gospel for so long that
-
all you care about is being right with God by yourself, for
-
yourself, for your own self, for your own little kids, and have
-
no concept for the rest of the world or anyone that's within
-
the church body because we're disposable.
-
You get sideways with us. You'll go find another little
-
group. Yeah, acting like the rest of
-
the world happens all the time because we think it's personal.
-
Well, He will personally save you, but He saves you to be in a
-
body. Hallelujah.
-
This is not individual only. This is not independent.
-
You and God, you will not go to heaven and only have private
-
meetings with Jesus. Amen.
-
What's it say in Matthew 2541? Then he will also say to those
-
on his left, Depart from me, accursed ones, into the eternal
-
fire, which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.
-
This is what's really sad is that the Lake of Fire was not
-
for humanity originally. The Lake of Fire was designed
-
for the first rebellion against the Kingdom.
-
The original treason and when they rebelled, because they were
-
in already in an eternal state and when they rebelled, there
-
was no redemption for them, no way to save them.
-
They chose to go against God. And you understand the enemy's
-
tactic has been the same. He's never changed.
-
It's one purpose and that is this thought.
-
His thought was I can do it better than the creator.
-
I want to rule over him. This is why he always has in
-
this world where you're skeptical of authority because
-
that's his his tactic. All you can't trust somebody
-
that's over you. You can't trust somebody you
-
could do it better. All you know, they do it that
-
way. But if you were in charge, many
-
of you hear somebody say, yeah, you know what?
-
I just don't like the way that pastor did that, or I don't like
-
the way that, you know, person did that.
-
And if I was, you know, boss of this thing, you know what, You
-
might as well say, get thee behind me, Satan, Because until
-
you're in that position, you don't need to have a comment.
-
You should just know I am submitted.
-
I and if they ask, I'll let them know.
-
But ultimately they're going to have the final say.
-
And I love just being where I'm at until I'm promoted somewhere
-
else. I just know how to function
-
right here, man. You get around some people, you
-
get them in a room and you say, OK, I want you to do this.
-
And they're immediately already trying to take charge.
-
If you're so mature as a believer, how come you can't
-
just stay submitted? And I'll have to Give your
-
opinion. No, because the devil's talking.
-
The devil's always talking like that.
-
And you know what that does? When you're like, I could do it
-
better. That's the first step towards
-
pride. That's how he arrived at pride,
-
because he thought his way was better.
-
But it's not. God's way is better.
-
Amen. So this place was originally
-
only for the devil and those who fell and rebelled with him.
-
But he came into the earth and God had empowered his man to
-
rule this Kingdom on the planet just like he rules in heaven and
-
gave him authority and power and said, son, just don't eat the
-
fruit. And if he had only obeyed his
-
dad and looked at that serpent and says, you're saying
-
something different than my father.
-
I refuse to listen to that. And you've heard me say this
-
before. How come Adam didn't come and
-
say, let's wait for Dad to show up and see what he says about
-
this? The minute he didn't want Dad to
-
show up gave him the opportunity to listen to somebody else's
-
voice. And believers are doing this and
-
the world is doing this all the time.
-
Hearing something about someone from someone without the other
-
person even being around, and you form opinions and actions
-
and behaviors towards them and the other person not even there
-
to verify it. It's a travesty.
-
And that's how the enemy brings division.
-
Can I get an Amen? Colossians 3 five through 8 says
-
this, the God's Word translation.
-
I'm going to read a few other translations with this one.
-
It says therefore put to death whatever is worldly in you, your
-
sexual sin, perversion, passion, lust and greed, which is the
-
same thing as worshipping wealth.
-
It is because of these sins that God's anger comes on those who
-
refuse to obey Him. You used to live that kind of
-
sinful life. Also, get rid of your anger, hot
-
tempers, hatred, cursing, obscene language and all similar
-
sins. Have you heard believers say,
-
well, it's just a word, what's it matter if I cuss?
-
I listen to one particular newscaster says, you know,
-
talking about how all of our government people are just
-
openly cussing now and they're like, you know, when I'm here, I
-
don't do that. Now, I may do it when I'm and,
-
you know, this person supposed to be a believer.
-
And I'm like, why you doing it period?
-
You're not doing it on the camera.
-
Why you doing it off the camera? And this is the problem.
-
I said this is the problem because there are 6 billion
-
people destined for destruction. Let me read another.
-
Well, turn over to Galatians chapter 5.
Galatians 5 chapter mention
-
I heard the spear of the Lord say this to me yesterday when I
-
was cutting the grass. You know, he talks to me a lot
-
when I'm mowing. I don't know why that is.
-
I think it's just because the sound puts me in a position
-
where and I'm talking to him. And so, you know, there is no
-
other voice that I'm listening to, but I heard the Spirit of
-
the Lord say this. He says, you cannot say you have
-
a passion for the lost when you cannot crucify your flesh in
-
order to be an example before the lost.
-
I'm going to say that again. The Lord said to me yesterday,
-
you cannot say you have a passion for the lost when you
-
cannot crucify your flesh in order to be an example before
-
the lost. He said, remember Son, I said,
-
be holy as I'm holy. Then I heard the Spirit of the
-
Lord say this. He said when you preach
-
tomorrow, people are going to be thinking them, where's the voice
-
of victory? He said you tell them where is
-
your, where's the despair in your soul that 6 billion people
-
would be destined for destruction all the while while
-
you would sit there and put 1 foot in the world and 1 foot in
-
the Kingdom when I told you to come out and be separate.
-
I'm sure this for somebody online.
-
Are you hearing me? Because what's interesting about
-
the things I'm I'm reading to you today is these are not
-
letters that Paul is saying from an evangelistic message to the
-
lost. These are to the church.
-
He's saying church. You've been redeemed, you've
-
been set free, you've been blood bought, blood washed.
-
Son, don't even think about going back.
-
Don't even behave that way. Abhorred that kind of stuff.
-
Don't you know that God's wrath is destined on people's lives
-
for that kind of behavior? This is the type of lifestyle
-
that gets you thrown into the Lake of fire.
-
Yet we've had false teachers and false apostles and false
-
prophets water down the subject of grace to where really what
-
they're teaching is not grace but lasciviousness.
-
Because lasciviousness is that God saved me.
-
I couldn't do anything, so I can't do anything now, and I can
-
do whatever I want to do, and I'm saved by grace.
-
Well, if you were saved by grace, then you wouldn't do that
-
because something in you would say I don't live that way
-
anymore. That way of living keeps you out
-
of the Kingdom. Say Amen.
-
Anyway, Galatians 519 to 21 says this.
-
Now, the effects of the of corrupt nature are obvious.
-
Illicit sex perversion, promiscuity, idolatry, drug use,
-
hatred, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish
-
ambition, conflict, factions, envy, drunkenness, wild parties,
-
and similar things. I've told you in the past, I'm
-
telling you again that people who do these kinds of things
-
will not inherit the kingdom's Kingdom of God.
-
God's Kingdom. Now I understand that when
-
someone's born again, we know this as a church that people are
-
growing up that you can come in here and you'll be doing some
-
things that are of your old nature and God's renewing your
-
mind. But if you're born again, then
-
you every step of the way that when God says change this, stop
-
that you and all he's doing is saying release who you are
-
because you're not subject to that.
-
You're not bound to that. You've been freed from the law
-
of sin and death. You don't have to live that way.
-
Inside you is more power and I've given you the greater 1 and
-
greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world.
-
And you, you actually have a different nature now and you
-
actually can live for God and you can be an example and you
-
can let the light shine. Because if you really care about
-
those who are destined for the lake of fire, then you need to
-
let your light shine and not let it be dim because you living
-
like the rest of the world. I understand that if you're
-
having some of these things and you were to die, that doesn't
-
mean you're not in the Kingdom of God.
-
But what he's saying is, is someone who knows God and begins
-
to move back into these types of behavior.
-
This is a very dangerous thing to be and you have no care for
-
the lost. The remedy translation says it
-
this way. When the selfish nature is in
-
charge, it's obvious because the life reflects the destructive
-
behaviors of the self. Selfish nature which includes
-
lewdness, sexual perversion, immorality, all kind of self
-
promoting, self worship, Wicca, voodoo, mysticism, all forms of
-
idolatry, gossip, envy, jealousy, loss of control, all
-
types of acting out, rage, hatred, grudge holding, self
-
exaltation, racial and and caste discrimination, drunkenness,
-
getting high on drugs, orgies and the like.
-
With this should not even be named with us.
-
And if you're sitting here today and anything, any of this is a
-
part of your life that is destined for the lake of fire,
-
God is not saying it's OK. He's not saying that the
-
Father's posture nor Jesus Christ who stands at his right
-
hand is saying it's OK. He's not saying that.
-
He's saying you don't have to be like this.
-
You do not have to act this way. You do not have to behave.
-
I set you free from that because this is punishable by death.
-
This is punishable by death, and you don't have to live that way
-
because the blood of my son has paid the price.
-
He has redeemed you. My gosh, you want to get out of
-
that judgment. You want to be free from that
-
judgment. You want to escape that, that
-
declaration by the King. Depart from me, for I never knew
-
you. And you can because of the
-
precious blood of Jesus. Another translation says it this
-
way. The cravings of the self life
-
are obvious. Sexual immorality, lustful
-
thoughts, pornography, chasing after things instead of God,
-
manipulating others, hatred of those who get in your way,
-
senseless arguments, resentment when others are favored, temper
-
tantrums, angry quarrels. Only thinking of yourself, being
-
in love with your own opinions, being envious of the blessings
-
of other murder, uncontrolled addictions, wild parties and all
-
other similar behavior which you understand.
-
This is not an exhaustive list. Haven't I already warned you
-
that those who use their freedom for these things will not, will
-
not, will not inherit the Kingdom of God?
-
So you understand you need to quit trying to explain how
-
someone is getting in doing this and begin to love your brother
-
and sister and saying why you gossiping right now?
-
Don't you know that stuff keeps you out of the Kingdom?
-
Oh, now I'm boring. If you're born again, you shut
-
your mouth right now. That's what you would do.
-
You wouldn't slander right now. So I want to believe you're born
-
again. Let's have fruit that shows you
-
are because again, if we care about people that are in this
-
restaurant right now that do not know God, and you want to sit
-
here and talk to me about your boss, about your spouse, about
-
your pastor, about your apostle, about whatever and slander and
-
gossip and give me all the juicy Marshalls about their life and
-
this audience, how in the world are they going to see the light
-
of the gospel? We just let them know.
-
You think people aren't overhearing you at work trying
-
to invite people to church, yet you gossip like the rest, you
-
envy like the rest. You're mad because you didn't
-
get promoted. You're complaining about the
-
worldly governments too. You're talking about your
-
spouse. Hallelujah.
-
Thank you, Jesus. No, Paul is saying this stuff is
-
not acceptable. It's not for the church.
-
And if you have a compassion for the lost, then you will live
-
separate. You'll crucify your flesh,
-
you'll put it down. You'll say, Lord, whatever you
-
say I'll do because you are Lord of my life.
-
And you would imagine seeing the crown of thorns on his head
-
beaten so bad you couldn't tell he was a man.
-
You'd see the holes in his hands and his feet.
-
You see the Pierce in his side. You would see that he took
-
everything on. And you're going to justify
-
behavior that you know is marked for the lake of fire.
-
His grace has empowered you to be free from it all.
-
And you know what? The Holy Ghost on the inside of
-
you is not saying it's OK if you talk about this.
-
You know it's OK if you don't forgive them.
-
That's pretty rough. No, the Holy Spirit's like,
-
really, really. Do you know what your Lord and
-
Savior has done for you? Do you understand?
-
Your response right now is fixing to be a light so that
-
this person that is destined for destruction has hope.
-
See, you have no testimony if you don't live the testimony.
-
The reason Jesus was so successful with the crowds was
-
because the Pharisees did not live what they preached, but
-
Jesus did. You cannot tout I'm a Sinner
-
saved by grace. I sin too.
-
We all sin. We can't help it, you know,
-
that's just what we do. The Bible doesn't say that.
-
The Bible says that you were a Sinner.
-
You've been saved by grace through faith and now you're a
-
believer and that you're a new creature in Christ.
-
And now you have the mind of Christ, and you have the nature
-
of Christ, and you have the Holy Spirit who will teach you, and
-
He will keep you from every temptation and cause you to
-
overcome every situation, because now you are a child of
-
the King. And if you do happen to blow it,
-
you will admit it. You will ask people to forgive
-
you. You will acknowledge that you
-
did not live the standard. That is the nature you are now.
-
You won't make an excuse for it. You won't sugarcoat it.
-
You won't say, well, you know, it's OK If we, you know, I
-
realized we wouldn't die. If, I mean, you wouldn't do
-
that. You would have what Paul, I
-
believe it was it says or it could have been Peter.
-
You would flee. I think it's Paul.
-
Flee the appearance of evil. I don't even want it to look
-
like it, because I'm going to tell you, in this world there's
-
going to be plenty of people that are going to put you in the
-
category of evil. In fact, in the last days, all
-
of us are going to be called evil because the world's going
-
to call what's good, evil and what's evil good.
-
And they're going to blast you and talk about your extremism
-
and who how you are and how radical you are as a believer in
-
Christ and try to get you to compromise with the world.
-
But if we care for the lost, this is so serious with God.
-
Look at Mark Chapter 9 verses 43 to 50.
-
It says if your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, for it
-
is better for you to enter life crippled than having your two
-
hands go into hell. Where?
-
Into unquenchable fire where the worm does not die and the fire
-
is not quenched. And that is not metaphorical.
-
All right, Verse 45, if your foot causes you to stumble, what
-
do you need to do? Cut it off.
-
Now is God advocating amputating or mutilation?
-
No, but what he's saying is if it literally was a hindrance, it
-
would be better that you completely remove it from your
-
being from your being than to keep something that's going to
-
kill you and keep you eternally separated from him.
-
And you understand we're treating these things that Paul
-
are writing the churches in this age as if it's OK like, well, I
-
asked Jesus into my heart. So if you did, where how are you
-
living? Is are you part of a local body
-
church? Are you being discipled?
-
Are you submitted to the fivefold ministry?
-
I mean, I could just run list upon list of what someone who's
-
truly made Jesus Lord looks and lives like.
-
Or are you deciding how far you go?
-
Are you making that choice? Well, then he's not Lord.
-
And maybe, even maybe I could ask the question, Has he ever
-
been? John the Baptist says he have
-
fruit in keeping with repentance.
-
He goes on and says this. So if your foot calls you to
-
stumble, cut it off. It'd be better for you to enter
-
life. Lame than having 2 feet and be
-
cast into hell where the worm does not die and the fair is
-
fire is not quenched. If your eye causes you to
-
stumble, throw it out, for it is better for you to enter the
-
Kingdom of God with one eye than having two eyes to be cast into
-
the hell. Can I go ahead and give you real
-
quick an example of that? If your phone causes you to
-
stumble, it's better for you to get rid of your phone and learn
-
how to navigate in this world without a cell phone.
-
Cut it off, go find you a cricket phone with big screen,
-
little screen and big numbers. I don't even know if they have
-
those anymore. Be honest with you.
-
I'm just saying whatever you need to do.
-
But what we make excuses for carnality and God is saying I'm
-
not making excuses. The blood is not making excuses,
-
The blood paid the price. The blood does not authorize you
-
to sin. The blood paid the price for
-
sin. So verse 8 where the worm does
-
not die and fire is not quenched, verse 49 for everyone
-
who will be sought for everyone will be salted with fire.
-
Salt is good, but if the salt becomes what?
-
Unsalty with what? Will you make it salty again?
-
Have salt in yourself and be at peace with one another.
-
Look what it says in Hebrews chapter 2 verses one through 3
Hebrews 2 chapter mention
-
says. For this reason we must pay much
-
closer attention to what we have heard so that we do not drift
-
away from it. For if the Word spoken through
-
angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and
-
disobedience received a just penalty, how will we escape if
-
we neglect so great a salvation? And again, you cannot neglect
-
something unless you have something.
-
After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was
-
confirmed to us by those who heard.
-
I want us as members of the Anchor Faith Church, Vision
-
partners to As one visitor said one time, he said, Pastor, you
-
give an invitation for holiness. You know what's crazy?
-
All churches should give an invitation for holiness, not an
-
invitation. Where are you going to go when
-
you die? Let's just get you out of hell.
-
But how can you have actions that are marked for the lake of
-
fire, have the blood, and still live with the actions that are
-
marked for the lake of fire? How was that even possible?
-
And how can we? How are we going to see the
-
world coming to the Kingdom of God if we ourselves are not
-
willing to be holy? Because we already are?
-
He made us this way. He separated us from the things
-
of the world. He gave us a new spirit.
-
He took the spirit in you that was dead in his trespasses of
-
sin, that was cut off from God, that was destined for the lake
-
of fire, which is the second death.
-
He removed it from your skin suit and put in you a new spirit
-
that hears God's voice. The Holy Spirit bears witness
-
with your spirit, you are a child of God.
-
And then the Holy Spirit says I'll change the way you think so
-
that the nature that you now are, that it's behavior, it's
-
actions can live among men and you will shine bright.
-
Your lifestyle will shine so bright.
-
People when they get in your presence will want to quit
-
cussing. They want to put their drinks to
-
the side. Now they're going to be some
-
brazen enough because you understand the enemy.
-
He knows he's dead. Some like I don't give a RIP
-
about God and you can say I'm praying for you and hoping that
-
there's still room for repentance.
-
But today what some are doing is like, let me have a drink with
-
you and tell you about Jesus. How does that even make sense?
-
I understand this is not US popular preaching, but I'm not
-
here to preach AUS gospel, I'm here to preach the Kingdom
-
gospel. Amen.
-
Second, Peter 220 to 22 says, For if they have escaped the
-
defilements of the world, come on, have you escaped it?
-
By the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are
-
again entangled in them and are overcome.
-
The last state has become worse than the first.
-
This is serious business. This scripture alone eradicates
-
once saved always saved. And everyone who says once
-
saved, always saved says What can separate us from the love of
-
God? Read the list.
-
Can a famine come and cut you off from God?
-
Obviously not. Can a trial and tribulation cut
-
you off from the love of God? Obviously not.
-
Can demons, principalities, and powers cut you off from the love
-
of God? No.
-
Can you cut yourself off? Yes.
-
You can. You say?
-
Prove it, Adam. Adam, you want a second witness.
-
Eve, you want a third witness? The blasphemy of the Holy
-
Spirit. And you can't do that unless
-
you've been born again. And there's some other criterias
-
associated with it. Yeah.
-
So once again, well, I ask Jesus in my heart, I can never lose
-
it. You can denounce it just like
-
Adam did. And Adam lived a state that none
-
of us have lived yet. For it would have been better
-
for them to not have known the way of righteousness than having
-
known it to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to
-
them. It has happened to them.
-
According to the true proverb, a dog returns to its own vomit,
-
and a sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the
-
mire. I'm just going to be quite
-
honest as the apostle of the ministry, there are many
-
funerals that people are going to and they're saying, well,
-
they're in a better place and they are not in a better place
-
because their lifestyle gave no evidence of lordship.
-
I think many people are going to be surprised when they get up
-
there and they're like, we're so and so I got up.
-
They're not here. What do you mean they're not
-
here? I was there when they asked
-
Jesus into their heart. They said they may have asked
-
him into their heart, but He didn't make him Lord.
-
There's no fruit, no change. And you know, so and so they
-
turned against me and went back. And, you know, they were living
-
life worse than they were before they ever got saved.
-
And you think I just let them in?
-
No, they trampled on my blood. These are sobering words, but
-
they're words of truth. Revelation chapter 20, verse 10
-
through 15 says in The Devil who deceived them was thrown into
-
the lake of fire of brimstone, where the beast and the false
-
prophet are also, and they will be tormented day and night
-
forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne,
-
and him who set upon it, from whose present earth and heaven
-
fled away, and no place was found for them.
-
And I saw the dead, the great, and the small, standing before
-
the throne. And books were opened, and
-
another book was open, which is the Book of Life.
-
And the dead were judged from the things which were written in
-
the books according to their deeds.
-
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it.
-
And Death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them, and
-
they were judged, every one of them, according to their deeds.
-
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire.
-
This is the second death, the Lake of Fire.
-
And if anyone's name was not found in the Book of Life, he
-
was thrown into the lake of fire.
-
And we have just read through scripture of all of the actions
-
and behaviors that do not inherit the Kingdom of God.
-
And there are 6 billion people, probably more, that are marked
-
for this scene. And the greatest hope they have
-
is you. Because the church is the hope
-
of the world. We are the hope of the world.
-
Because if we will actually come out from among them and where it
-
just means we do not live like the world, we live like we are
-
in Christ. We are born of God.
-
We have his nature, we have his power, and we walk in a world we
-
are not of. We're in a world we're not of,
-
but the world knows we're not of them.
-
They see it in our actions. They see it in our behavior.
-
They see it in our lifestyle. They see it in how we carry
-
ourselves. They see it in our forgiveness.
-
They see it in the fruits of the Spirit that happened day in and
-
day out of our lives. And if we truly care to
-
evangelize to the world, then we must crucify our flesh and live
-
a holy life and let the blood of God, my gosh, sanctify you
-
entirely. Entirely.
-
I close with these verses. Romans 59 says this much more
-
than having been justified by his blood.
-
We shall be saved from the wrath of God through him.
-
If you're here today and you've never made Jesus the Lord of
-
your life, I want you to know God is storing up anger towards
-
you. It's not because He wants to.
-
It's because you are having him do this because He's already
-
paid the price for everything you're doing in the life you're
-
living. And as much as you're trying to
-
do good and you're trying to put your life on a scale and you're
-
trying to say, well, I'm not as bad as such and such, and I
-
haven't done as much as so and so.
-
That means nothing with God. All that matters is the blood of
-
Jesus because no one is good. No, not one.
-
I always fell short of being right with God, no matter how
-
much. And I was raised in church, but
-
being raised in church only let me know that I was a Sinner.
-
I was cut off, I needed saving, and Jesus was the only one.
-
And his blood justified me and saved me from the wrath to come.
-
First Thessalonians 110 says and the way and to wait for his Son
-
from heaven, whom he raised from the dead.
-
That is Jesus who rescues us from the wrath to come.
-
Come on up, worship team God wants to save you.
-
He wants you to escape this wrath.
-
He does not want you anymore to be subject to it.
-
And He sure doesn't want his children taking their hand off
-
the plow and looking back. And there are so many people in
-
this congregation right now that if we all would commit to a holy
-
life, Saint Augustine cannot stand a chance because you are
-
in too many places that the light of God does not shine.
-
And the conviction in their lives put them in a place that
-
they're like, I need your Jesus. No longer do we need to see a
-
person go into the Lake of fire because of the hypocrisy of the
-
believer. You have to settle that.
-
I have been blood bought, blood washed.
-
I have been. I am owned by the king.
-
My life is not my own and no longer will I just go by someone
-
without at least saying God, I pray for this person right now.
-
Sin laborers. If I'm not the person to talk
-
today, God, I don't know where that person is.
-
I don't know who this person is that is serving me right now at
-
McDonald's. Lord, I don't know if they're
-
right with you or not, but God, I thank you today.
-
At least I prayed for them. Maybe God's not authorizing you
-
to speak to them and please do not go to them and say, do you
-
know where you're going to go when you die today?
-
Don't do that. That is not the gospel Jesus
-
preached. Now, if you want to say, do you
-
know Jesus, say that because this is about life.
-
This is not when we exit. This is about life.
-
Now, do you have peace in your life?
-
Do you have perpetual peace? Ask them things that are
-
applicable for now, not Do you know where you'd go if you were
-
to die right now. How's that help them on the
-
earth? Let's preach the gospel.
-
Jesus, be sensitive enough to say, I see you're sniffling
-
today. Can I pray for you?
-
And maybe that's all you do, but you're being led by the Spirit.
-
Why? Because this person, maybe not
-
this person, but you understand that person that you're standing
-
in front of may be marked for destruction.
-
This is why. Do we want something to change
-
with our schools? Do we want protection for our
-
schools? Well, how is it that we would
-
not want to go pray? And again, I can't be at every
-
one of them. This is why we equip the Saints
-
for the work of service so that you can participate and do
-
something. You can show up, you can pray a
-
hedge of protection. You can say this is what the
-
church is supposed to do. I close with this verse right
-
here. Colossians 1/3, 13 and 14.
-
And he rescued us from the domain of darkness and
-
transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have
-
redemption, the forgiveness of sin.
-
It's time to escape and be transferred.
-
It's time to escape and be transferred.
