Brand New - Original Intent with Apostle Marci Glisson

Isaiah 42. That's what the name of my title

is. Brand new original intent.

Hallelujah, Isaiah 42, this He gave me this back in January.

Behold, the former things have come to pass.

Listen, there's some things they've already come to pass.

They've already and and we've already accomplished some

things. Even in your life, you've

already accomplished some things.

But he says what now? I declare there's going to be a

new thing. There's something new that God

wants to do in you, Hallelujah. There's a brand new thing that

God wants to do in you and you have to say, God, do it.

I'm ready. Whatever it is that you want to

do in me, I'm ready. Come on, I'm ready for you to

pour out that rain upon my life so that I can walk in a fresh

and new thing that you want to do within my life.

Hallelujah, glory to God says before they spring forth, I

proclaim them to you. So he's already prophesying.

We know this is a prophecy about what he was getting ready to do

with Jesus, getting ready to come and do a whole new thing so

that we could walk in the promise of our salvation with

the Lord. But here he's saying, listen, I

declare beforehand, there's some things I want to do in you, a

new thing I want to do in you. And let let me tell you, he's

telling you ahead of time. He's telling you ahead of time.

He's letting you know there's some things I want to do in you.

I want to do a new thing in you. But are you positioning yourself

for me to do it? Hallelujah.

Did you find anything about the little frogs?

I thought he was Googling it. Anyway, when you look up that

word, a new thing, it means a fresh thing, a fresh thing, a

fresh thing. And there's so many people

saying, I just feel like, you know, we're just doing the same

old, same old thing, going through the same old motions.

Doesn't seem like anything's changing.

I'm no better than I was. Come on.

No, it's because He's ready to do a fresh thing within you.

But you have to allow him. You have to allow Him to do that

new, fresh thing with you. Hallelujah.

Do you know God's always, always about doing something new?

Always. From the very beginning He was

about doing something new. Hallelujah always about doing

something new. Glory to God, let's pray.

Father, we just thank you so much for this word that you want

to speak forth tonight. We thank you Father that your

word is living and active and sharper than any 2 edged sword,

able to Pierce between joint, marrow, soul and spirit to the

very intentions of 1's heart. And so I thank you, Father, that

your word will come forth and it will do and will accomplish that

which we are sending it forth to do in the the prophetic

atmosphere that you want through this time and this body.

And we give you glory and honor for we receive it.

We receive it in Jesus name and we'll walk it out.

Hallelujah. We'll have ears to hear what the

Spirit is saying to each and every heart, each and every

person in here so that you can begin to do that new and fresh

thing within their life. We give you glory and honor for

it in Jesus name, Amen. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah, a new thing, it means a fresh thing.

Hallelujah. Some of you need to get stirred

up and get fresh. You been stale.

Come on. And he's ready to put something

fresh within you. Glory to God, Hallelujah.

It also means this to be renewed, to be restored, to be

transformed. See, it also means to be

changed. Some of you need change.

And I'm telling you, that's what the rain is for.

It's for change. Change.

Stuck in a rut, not seeing anything.

Move. No movement.

Spiritually, no movement. Come on in advancing in your

relationship with the Lord and he's saying I'm ready to do a

fresh a new come on, ready to bring change that you are

looking for. Some of you have been looking

for a change and you've been looking in the wrong places and

God said I'm ready to do a change in you, but you've got to

be willing. You got to be willing,

Hallelujah, to be able to walk in what he wants to do new in

you. That means you're going to have

to get rid of some old, old habits, old behaviors, old, you

know, thinking all of these things if we're going to walk in

the new things that he wants for us or the fresh things that he

has for us. Because God is a fresh God.

He is not old, stale religious. Come on.

No, He is alive, His word is alive, Hallelujah.

Our spirit is alive unto Him, and every day He's ready to do a

fresh thing within you. Hallelujah.

And it's not Him and His problem, it's our problem that

we're not walking in this freshness.

Amen. That He has for us Hebrews 8.

You know, every since, every since Isaiah prophesied of Jesus

coming to do a whole new thing. You know what that was that we

would no longer have to be under the religious law and all the

things that they had to do to be right with the Lord.

So Isaiah's prophesied, I'm getting ready to do a new thing.

Even in Ezekiel, he said, I'm getting ready to put a new

heart, a new spirit within you. Come on.

So that we no longer have to walk through all of these

religious exercise of carrying out the law after law after he

said I'm getting ready to put myself, my spirit within you and

it's going to be alive. It's going to be alive.

My presence is going to be able to dwell on the inside of man

again. Hallelujah.

And in Hebrews, because God has always been about something new.

In Hebrews chapter 8 and verse 6 out of the NIV, it reads it this

way. But in fact, the ministry Jesus

has received is a superior, is superior to theirs, which he's

talking about as the old covenant of which he was the

mediator, the superior to the old one.

Since the new covenant is established with better

promises, He says in this scripture, he is going to give

us a new and better covenant. Oh man, with better promises, a

new and better covenant. That's what's so new about it is

that Jesus gets to come and dwell on the inside of man and

he's letting us know it is a new thing.

It is a new and better covenant with better promises.

Hallelujah. It's not something old.

It's new and it's better. It's new and it's better because

He gets to come and dwell on the inside of man.

Romans 64 says this. Therefore we have been buried

with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was

raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we might

walk in what the newness, say newness, newness of life.

See, His life that He gives us should always be new.

It should always be new. And it's not a problem with God,

it's a problem with us. If we're not excited, come on

about our relationship with the Lord and the fact that He brings

life and has given us that life. That newness of life every day

can be the newness of life living and dwelling on the

inside of us. It can be fresh every day.

It can be exciting every day because of the newness of life

that's living on the inside of you.

The newness, freshness of life. See, it's a life giving spring

or well, he he said out of our belly What flows rivers of what

living water. Not stale, not stagnant, not

old, but living and new and fresh.

When you look it up, it's fresh and new every single day.

The newness of life, the life that's living on the inside of

us, which comes from the presence and spirit of the

living God when we get born again.

What did he say in Second Corinthians chapter 5 and verse

2 Corinthians 5 · chapter mention

17, he says this What? Therefore, if anyone is in

Christ, he is a what? A new creature in Christ.

What all things passed away. Behold, all things are what new.

Behold, all things are new. The minute you got born again,

old things are passed away. You now are a new creature in

Christ, living the newness of life, the newness of life.

Hallelujah. And he wants us to walk in this

newness of life every day. Every day.

Do you know that's why He tells us that we have to stir up the

joy of our salvation, because when we got born again, we got

life deposited on the inside of us.

Come on. And he says, listen, you are

going to have to stir up how many of you remember how excited

you were the minute you got born again.

Everything seemed new, didn't it?

You're like, man, this is amazing.

I'm so excited about what God has done in my life.

Everything was fresh and new and you were excited about it.

And see the world that we're living in today, all it wants to

do is so distract you from what really is happening in you to

get you distracted about the cares of this life that you

don't realize you have the newness of life living on the

inside of you every single day. Hallelujah, every single day.

And I have to stir up the joy of my salvation.

I have to remember what it was like when I was lost.

Come on when I was broken, when I was beat down, when I was

going through life. Come on, drugged up, sexed up,

all these things. Come on, broken, rejected, come

on. All these things I was going

through. But the minute come on, I made

him Lord, oh, all the shame, all the guilt, all the rejection,

come on, all the inferiority, all those things were gone and I

felt a newness of life. Hallelujah.

And he says we have to stir that joy up again.

Hallelujah. If we're going to walk in that

newness every day, it's got to be brand new.

Come on, he said in Revelations. Listen, what did he say?

You've lost your first love. And I, you've heard me say this

a million times when I've ministered.

It's like when you're being married.

When you're married, right? You have to tell yourself I'm

married and I've got to stir up this love relationship that I

have, right? You have to remind yourself I'm

married to this person for the rest of my life.

Yeah. And I'm going to have to stir up

my first love. I'm going to have to stir up

those things that got me excited about being with this individual

before, right? All those things.

And he's telling us, listen, you know what?

You can stir that stuff back up to where it is.

Just like you just got born again today.

The joy of your salvation, being excited that you are born again.

Come on, that you've been redeemed from the curse.

Hallelujah. Oh, and that you have the new

name, yes, of life on the inside of you.

You have to stir it up. You have to stir it up.

Hallelujah. So he's always been about doing

a new thing, a new thing in your life.

All things are passed away. Behold, all things become new.

They become new the minute you call on the name of the Lord.

But guess what? You can walk in that newness

every day. Every day you can walk in the

newness of this life. And He expects us to walk in it.

And if we're not walking in it and we're not excited about the

life that's been given to us, that we have come on the divine

nature of the living God living and dwelling on the inside of

us, Hallelujah, we're partakers, he says.

And Peter, we're partakers of his divine nature.

How could we have another sad day in our life?

The temptations come, but we have to remind ourselves, wait a

minute, I have the newness of life living on the inside of me.

Come on. And I'm going to have to stir

that life up. Glory to God, glory to God.

Let me read the Second Corinthians 517 out of the

amplified. It says this.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ that is grafted in,

joined to him by faith in him as Savior, he is a new creature,

reborn, renewed by the Holy Spirit.

So you're born again and you're renewed by the Holy Spirit.

We will not be able to walk in the newness of life unless we

turn, unless we tap into the spirit of the living God that's

dwelling on the inside of us. That's what keeps us alive.

That is our that is our source and our supply of keeping us

alive. Without it, we will die and we

will shrivel up. But it's the life of God, the

presence of God, the Spirit of God that's dwelling on the

inside of us to bring that freshness and that newness every

day as we yield to it and begin to stir it up on the inside of

our life. He can't stir it up for you.

He can't do it for you. He's already done what He's

going to do, but He's given us everything that we need so that

we can do it. It says the old things, the

previous moral and spiritual condition, have passed away.

Behold, new things have come. Listen to why it's come.

Because of the spiritual awakening that brings a new

life. Come on.

This is what we need in the body of Christ, a spiritual awakening

to the newness of life that's on the inside of them.

A spiritual awakening. What in the world am I doing?

I have the life of God on the inside of me.

I have the life of God on the inside of me.

Zoway life, come on, it's flowing on the inside of me.

What am I doing? Trying to act like a mere man

living in this earth and going with the flow and acting like

everybody else when they go through a situation.

Wait a minute, I have the life of the living God Almighty on

the inside of me. Hallelujah, glory to God.

Hallelujah, a spiritual awakening, a spiritual awakening

to the things of God. That's you've already been

given. Hallelujah, you've already been

given every, everything the Bible says that you need that

pertains to life, to life, to life, not just life in

breathing, no, everything that pertains to life so that it's

lively within you. Come on, it's living within you.

Hallelujah life and godliness, life and godliness.

And we need that spiritual awakening to really the power,

the life that's living on the inside of each and every one of

us. Amen.

Hallelujah. Look at Mark, Mark 16.

So not only does He make us brand new and expect us to walk

in this newness of life, He also, in March 1615 through 18

says this. And he said to them, Go into all

the world and preach the gospel to every creation.

He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved.

He who has been, has disbelieved shall be condemned.

These signs will accompany those who have believed in My name.

They will cast out devils and they shall what speak with new

tongues. He gave us a new language.

Hallelujah. Not only did he put his life on

the inside of us, he gave us come on a new language, a new

tongue so that we could be in direct communication with him

and Jude. He says to what?

Stir yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in in the

Spirit, Hallelujah, praying in the spirit.

And that's what's going to bring that flood, that fresh well of

water bubbling up on the inside of you.

When you're feeling like you're running low, You have a well,

spring up a well. That's what you got to remind

yourself, spring up. I have a well.

I have a well. I have a well of living water on

the inside of me, of fresh water.

Not stale stagnant water, but a bubbling brook of fresh water

that's ready to flow. And all I have to do is start

pumping. Start pumping.

But how many of us are not pumping and we're staying stale.

We're staying stagnant. Come on, we're staying, you

know, helpless. We're staying in a position that

we're just going along with our day, every day.

And it just seems monotonous. And it seems like it's just the

same old, same old. It won't be the same old, same

old if you start stirring up that well.

Come on, the living water on the inside of you reminded you, I'm

not a mere man, Hallelujah. I'm not a mere man.

I am a supernatural being, Hallelujah, that has the divine

nature of the living God on the inside of me, Hallelujah.

So I refuse to be dead. I refuse to be dry.

I refuse, come on, to be stagnant and stuck.

And some of you in here, you're feeling stuck and stagnant and

God's already said I've given you the newness of life and if

you want change, just start pumping at the well.

And you know what, sometimes wells have been dried so long,

it takes a little bit longer to get to the surface and some of

them dry up. Come on.

And I think, I don't remember, but I remember watching someone

dig a drill a well one time and you know, they put that big

thing down in the ground and it's drilling in and, and

they're looking for it to hit the water.

But then I've also seen where sometimes they put a hose in it

too, to put water down in it to try to, I don't know what it was

doing, but it was trying to get it to flush all everything out

that maybe it was hard bedrock or whatever.

And it's trying to soften it up, trying to soften it up.

So you need water to help soften it up.

So that's where you might need to get hooked up with somebody

that's got to flow. They know they're already tapped

in and they're already flowing with living water.

Hallelujah. And you might need to go get

hooked up So they can help you. You can, they can help you prime

your pump promise so that it can help you get flowing again

because you've been so dry and lifeless.

Come on. And he's saying there's some new

things I'm ready to do. There's some new life I'm ready

to give to you. Come on.

Look at Ephesians chapter 4. Ephesians chapter 423 through

Ephesians 4 · chapter mention

24. It says this Hallelujah and be

continually renewed in the spirit of your mind having what

I'm reading out of the amplified a fresh say afresh.

Say it again afresh. See that's what water will do.

It will bring a refreshing, he says, a fresh, untarnished

mental and spiritual attitude. So not only he give you a new

spirit with and the Holy Spirit that's living on the inside of

you and that living well, come on, that's there for you to tap

into. He's letting you know.

Listen, you're going to have to get into a place where your mind

gets fresh and renewed because he wants to put some new things

within your mind and your thinking.

To get rid of stinking thinking, you need some new thinking.

You need a fresh thought. You need a fresh thought because

your thoughts have been really stinky anyway.

And then what is he saying? And then you put on the new

self. The what?

The new self You have to choose to say, God, I know you're all

about doing a new thing. Come on, 'cause you wanted me to

walk in the newness of life, You wanted me to walk and speak in

new tongues. You wanted me to walk into a new

and better covenant with better promises.

Hallelujah, You wanted me to be able to put on the new self.

What does it say? The regenerated and renewed

nature, created in God's image and in his righteousness and

holiness of the truth, living in a way that expresses God.

Your gratitude for your salvation.

So he's saying I did everything new for you.

Now you've got to put this newness on.

You've got to put it on. That means you're going to have

to take the responsibility to walk it out.

The newness of life. You're going to have to take the

responsibility to say I'm new, I'm new, I'm new.

I'm going to walk in a new thing that God wants to do within my

life. Come on, whatever it is, I I'm

going to walk in the newness. So I'm going to put it on every

day. I'm going to put on this new

self every single day. I'm going to be this new person

that God said that I could be and I'm going to walk in the

newness of life. Colossians chapter 3 Colossians

Colossians 3 · chapter mention Colossians 3 · chapter mention

chapter 3 versus 9 through 10 out of the amplified says it

this way. Do not lie to one another.

You have stripped off your old self with its evil practices and

he says in verse 10 and have put on the new spiritual self who is

being continually renewed in the true knowledge and image of him

who created the new self. Say new.

You are a new creature in Christ.

Hallelujah. And you have to choose to put

that newness on every single day because it's so easy.

It's so easy to forget who you are, who you are so easy.

Doesn't matter how long you've been born again, because when

life happens, you can forget who you are and you have to choose

to say, wait a minute, here I am a new creature come home.

I have the newness of life living on the inside of me.

And behold, he wants to do a new thing.

So whatever's going on in this circumstance or this situation,

what is it new that's going to come out of it?

What's, what am I going to allow God to do new in me to come out

of whatever it is that I'm going through or walking through?

Come on. There's something new that he

wants to do in you. Something new always, always,

Hallelujah, because He is a fresh living God.

Hallelujah limitations chapter 3 limitations chapter 3, verses 22

through 23. Do you know this is how we're

going to walk in this new one newness every day is by

realizing that every day His mercies are what?

Every day His mercies are new. His compassion, that's what it's

all about. His compassion and His

forgiveness is new every day. So it doesn't matter if we blew

it, made a mistake, whatever. Guess what?

Because He created all things new and His scripture says His

mercy is new every morning. I can repent and I can start a

fresh day. I can start a fresh day.

I can start a new day. And I can say thus saith the

Lord, Today is the day that the Lord has made come on and I'm

going to rejoice in it. I'm going to walk into that new

mercy that's there for me every single day.

And I'm going to walk out the things that God wants to do

every single day. Hey, in the newness of what He

wants to do, Hallelujah, He wants you to have a fresh start.

It says it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed

because His compassions fail not, and they are new every

morning. Great is thy faithfulness.

He is a faithful God and as long as you are still breathing and

there is a new day, come on, there can be a new day dawning

if you just know you messed up and you've you deserve see mercy

is there. You deserve the consequence, the

reality of what it is. Maybe you sowed, but I'm going

to tap into His mercy and I'm going to tap into His grace.

Come on. Because it's new every morning.

And I'm going to believe that God is faithful.

Hallelujah. Oh, and that He is in covenant

with me. Glory to God.

Hallelujah. Oh, and he said his covenant,

this new covenant, O is built upon new and better promises.

Glory to God. And I saw all through the Old

Testament how merciful God was. So if he was so, so merciful

with all those stubborn people, come on.

I'm going to tap into the grace. I'm going to tap into his mercy

even today. I'm going to run to the throne

because I can't, because I have the Spirit of God on the inside

of me. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

Every day is another day is a fresh day of God that will

restore, renew, come on, he'll redeem he'll he'll do it all if

we just have a heart to say God, I want something new.

I want something new. I want to walk in the newness of

what you have for me and my life.

Come on, He's there. He's ready to do a new thing in

you. Hallelujah.

He's ready and willing because he's always been ready and

willing to do something new. And he did it and he was

faithful to do it so that we could walk in it, so that we

could walk in it. His grace.

That's what's so awesome that we have to recognize that we can

tap into the grace of God, the grace of God that's there for

every single believer to walk in to a new thing.

Hallelujah. Doesn't have to stay the same,

doesn't have to stay the same. It can be something new if you

choose to walk into it. Hallelujah.

Revelations, Revelations 21 and five.

Revelations 21 and five says this.

And he who sits on his throne said, behold, I am making all

things new. I'm making all things new.

I'm making all things new. And he said write, for these

words are faithful and true. He's faithful.

He's true. He's true to his word.

He's going to make all things new.

And this is Speaking of obviously even the heavens and

the earth as we know. He's going to make all things

new, even here, all things new, because he's all about making

new things. He's all about making new

things. Hallelujah.

So there's nothing, nothing that he cannot restore, nothing that

he cannot redeem, nothing that he cannot make new, nothing come

on, that he can't bring a freshness to.

As long as we ask and say, Laura, there's I want to walk in

newness of life. I want to walk in this.

I want you to do a new thing within me.

I don't want to stay the same. I don't want to stay the same.

I want to be new. I want to be a new person.

I want to be a new person in my thinking.

Come on. I maybe I want to be a new wife

to my husband. Maybe I want to be a new, you

know, teenager to my parents. Maybe I want to see some new

things come to pass that I've been, you know, dreaming of and

thinking of. It's all up to us to tap into

the newness of life that He put on the inside of us to be able

to walk it out. He is ready and willing, waiting

for you to say do a new thing in me, do a new thing in me,

Hallelujah, ready and waiting. Glory to God, glory to God.

You know, in Psalms 40, which I didn't put this down, Psalms 40,

I think it was like verse 3. It was talking about him

bringing us out of the miry clay and delivering us.

Let me see if I can find that. And then he says this.

He says and I'm going to put a new song within your mouth, a

new song within your mouth. See that?

Do you have a song in your heart?

Are you still thankful? Here it is.

Psalms 40. Yeah, the end of verse or verse

2 or it started in verse one. It says I waited patiently for

the Lord to help me. He turned to me and he heard my

cry. He's ready to hear you.

And he said this. He lifted me up out of the pit

of despair and out of the mud and the muck and mire.

He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked

along. He has given me a new song to

sing. A hymn of praise to our God.

A new song to sing. He is ready to give you a new

song to sing. You've been singing the wrong

song. You've been singing the wrong

melodies over and over and over and over and over again.

And see, that's why you can't walk in the new thing is because

you're rehearsing the old things, the former things.

And some of us will never walk into a new thing because we want

to hold on to what we experienced in an old season

that's gone and done away with. See, he wants to put it in your

mouth. A new song to sing, Hallelujah

to say, to rehearse over and over and over again.

Do you know he sings songs of deliverance over you?

The scripture says. The Holy Spirit told me too at

the beginning of the year, and I shared this with our praise and

worship team, that I believe there's going to be a new song

for this generation because every generation has a sound.

See, He's ready to do all things new.

There's some new things he is ready to do, but we have to be

ready and willing to go with him.

To go with him and recognize man, I do.

I there's some things. I I mean, I, I need some new

things going on. I'm tired.

Come on. I need some new things going on.

Hallelujah. Oh, I already know you have all

those new things. He always has a new thing.

New things, new things. Hallelujah.

With a new song. Quit singing the same old song.

Quit singing the same old song. Well, it'll never be any

different. Nothing's ever going to change.

You know, this is how it always is.

They're never going to do anything.

They're never going to do anything different.

It's always going to be this way.

See, you're singing a song and you're walking in cadence with

that instead of with a new song and a new thing that God wants

to do in your heart. Hallelujah.

Put a new song in your mouth. A new song.

He's ready to what? Deliver you.

He's ready to hear your cry and put a new song in your mouth.

Hallelujah, glory to God, stand to your feet.

Hallelujah, glory to God. Come on, let's just lift our

hands and begin to meditate on him.

Oh Father, we love you. We thank you for your word.

We thank you that your word is living.

It's active. Hallelujah.

Oh, we thankful Father, that you always, always have shown us

that you're ready to do a new thing.

Hallelujah for us to walk into. We thank you, Lord, that we

don't have to stay the same. Things don't have to stay the

same. Oh, we thank you, Lord.

We thank you that we can, we can change glory to God.

We can walk into some things that you, you need us to walk

into for the time and the hour that we're living in.

Father, we thank you that our hearts would be open and willing

for change, willing, Father, to walk in new things, new things.

Hallelujah that you've had for each and every one of us to walk

into. Hallelujah.

Glory to God, glory to God. Thank you, Lord.

Thank you, Lord. I want us to sing that song

again, doing a new thing, but I want you to step out and come

forward as we are singing this song.

Only if you know there's something new.

Things you know you need in your life, new things that need to be

stirred up within your heart, within your mind, within your

life, within your circumstances, within your marriage, within

your family, whatever it may be. You know that you're you need

something new. You know you need something new.

Hallelujah to kick start some change on the inside of you

because you're stuck. You're stuck in a rut.

And the Lord's saying today, I'm ready to do a new thing.

And all you have to do is be willing to step out, yield to

it, so that God can begin to bring a fresh, come on, a fresh

and new thing within you. Hallelujah.
