  1. I'm going to launch out tonight from the Gospel of Matthew

    Matthew 25 chapter mention

  2. chapter 25, and the title of the message tonight is Kingdom

  3. Reaping and Results, the law of Capital.

  4. And I'm going to start in verse #13 read all the way through

  5. verse 29. So whether you're on your

  6. electronic device or reading the paper Bible, follow along with

  7. me. So you could see it as I say it.

  8. All right, So verse 13 of Matthew 25 says this.

  9. This is Jesus speaking. It says, Watch therefore, for

  10. you neither know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is

  11. coming. Then he goes on to this parable.

  12. For the Kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far

  13. country, who called his own servants and and delivered his

  14. goods to them. To 1 He gave 5 talents, to

  15. another two, to another one, to each according to his own

  16. ability. And immediately he went on a

  17. journey. Then he had received the five

  18. talents, went and traded with them, and made another 5

  19. talents, and likewise he would receive 2, gained 2 more also.

  20. But he had received one, went and dug in the ground and hid

  21. his Lord's money. After a long time, the Lord of

  22. those servants came and settled accounts with them.

  23. So he had received 5 talents, came and brought five other

  24. talents, saying, Lord, you delivered to me 5 talents.

  25. Look, I have gained five more talents besides them.

  26. His Lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant, You

  27. were faithful over a few things. I will make you rule over many

  28. things. Enter into the joy of the Lord.

  29. He also received 2 talents. Came and said, Lord, you

  30. delivered to me two talents. Look, I've gained 2 more talents

  31. besides them. His Lord said to him, Well done,

  32. good and faithful servant, You have been faithful over a few

  33. things. I will make you ruler over many

  34. things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.

  35. Then you had received the one talent, came and said, Lord, I

  36. knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown,

  37. and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

  38. I was afraid, and I hid your talent in the ground.

  39. Look there, you have what is yours.

  40. But as Lord answered and said to him, you wicked and lazy

  41. servant, you knew that I reap where I've not sown, and I

  42. gather where I've not scattered seed.

  43. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers at my

  44. coming, and I would have received back my own with

  45. interest. Therefore take the talent from

  46. him and give him who has 10 talents, give it to him as 10

  47. talents, for to everyone who has more will be giving, and he will

  48. have an abundance, but from whoever does not have even what

  49. he has will be taken away. Cast the unprofitable servant

  50. into the outer darkness, where there be weeping and gnashing of

  51. teeth. So we see back in verse #13

  52. Jesus says, Watch. Therefore, that means to take

  53. heed, to give the strictest attention to, and to be active.

  54. This is a command of the Lord to be watchful.

  55. Turn to your neighbor and say, be watchful.

  56. Turn the one on the other side and say be watchful.

  57. Some of you are looking at the wall, but be watchful.

  58. And then he goes on. So Jesus commands us to be

  59. watchful, be active, be attentive, take heed.

  60. Just don't let go through life without being on guard.

  61. And then he goes on to talk about this parable, starting in

  62. verse #14 and in this parable he gave 5 talents.

  63. He delivered his own goods to them, right to 1.

  64. He gave 5 talents. Those that word good means he

  65. gave of his wealth, his possession, his substance.

  66. So the servants received what wasn't his, but he became a

  67. steward of what was given to him.

  68. And the a talent is a sum of money, it's currency.

  69. I put it this way when I was reading through the word today

  70. and I thought was thinking about this parable, was it getting

  71. ready to administer tonight? If you go to open up a bank

  72. account, you have an opening balance, right?

  73. You have to put money into the account.

  74. You just can't have $0.00, right?

  75. So this is like God say I'm giving you an opening balance.

  76. Here's $10,000 my capital. I'm giving it to you.

  77. What can you do with what I gave you?

  78. So God always gives you something to start with.

  79. Let me say to God always gives you something to start with.

  80. It's His. He gave it to you.

  81. Now it's up to you to use what He gave you.

  82. And the one with five, the one with 2, they did something

  83. called, they traded. That means they worked.

  84. Turn to your neighbor and say watch and work.

  85. Turn the one on the other side and say watch and work.

  86. Work is not a dirty word. You know work was in the earth

  87. prior to the fall. God gave Adam a work, right?

  88. He gave him an assignment to do that word.

  89. Trade means to do business, to exercise, to be engaged with or

  90. in. So that opening balance you need

  91. to work it. That opening balance you need to

  92. do business with it. That opening balance you need to

  93. exercise it. See the law of capital is this.

  94. Capital is an economic term for any asset used to produce

  95. profits for an investor. So God gave you capital to start

  96. with. He invested in your life.

  97. We'll put this way, He's invested in you, God believes in

  98. you and really how this law of capital In this parable, we get

  99. the law of use. And this is the principle that

  100. Jesus has given in this parable. This is the law of use.

  101. By use, you possess an increase. By disuse, you decline and lose.

  102. So in this parable, I'll say it again, he's saying by use, when

  103. you work, when you exercise, when you do business, you're

  104. going to possess an increase. If you don't do anything like

  105. the one that had to 1 town, he hit it, you're going to gain

  106. nothing. You're going to decline and

  107. lose. So increase in in your life is

  108. not the result of God. It's the result of you taking

  109. the capital, what God's given you and working his principles

  110. to create increase. So I'm going to give you 9

  111. different things when we talk. Think about a talent, the

  112. opening balance, the currency that he's given us.

  113. I'm going to give you 9 different things to ponder on

  114. the 9th one, I'm really going to elaborate on that one and spend

  115. the most of the time on that this evening.

  116. But number one, these are all in tease.

  117. As I was thinking about this today, when we think about he's

  118. given to you some 5, some 2, some one.

  119. These are all in context of what He's given you as an opening

  120. balance #1 He's giving you time. God is giving you time.

  121. Matter of fact, he, he said He gave it to him.

  122. Then he was gone for a long time.

  123. So he gave them time to do business.

  124. And when I think about time, I think about purpose.

  125. You know, wealth isn't the greatest commodity.

  126. Time is. You can always get back money,

  127. but you can't get back lost time.

  128. There's a thing called regret. That means I wish I wouldn't

  129. have done that. That was lost time.

  130. But God is the Redeemer of time. Hallelujah.

  131. But I, I'm here tonight to tell you make the best use of your

  132. time. Ephesians chapter 5 verses 15

    Ephesians 5:15–16

  133. through 16. They should have the scripture

  134. references up there for you. I'm going to read this from the

  135. JB Phillips translation. It says live life then with a

  136. due sense of responsibility. Not as men who do not know the

  137. meaning and purpose of life, but of those who do.

  138. Make the best use of your time. Are you exercising your time?

  139. Are you using your time or are you wasting your time?

  140. We should never say I'm just killing time.

  141. Even when I rest, I rest on purpose #2 talent.

  142. And your talent is your giftings.

  143. What has God placed in you? What is he giving you?

  144. I think about Chelsea singing you.

  145. You don't want me singing on stage.

  146. Hallelujah. I think about the gift of

  147. hospitality. Is Amita in here?

  148. I'm not manipulating this in any way, but man, she gets the best

  149. cut of steaks. And when she says, hey, let's

  150. have a fellowship, you know you're going to get fed well

  151. with prime USDA filet mignon from so she she has the gift of

  152. hospitality. Hallelujah.

  153. So what does God put in you? And thank God, God is so

  154. creative. All of us are unique.

  155. But are you exercising that gift?

  156. In first Timothy chapter 4 verses 14 through 15, it says do

    1 Timothy 4:14–15

  157. not neglect the gift that is in you, don't neglect it.

  158. Meaning you could neglect it. You could be like the one talent

  159. man that hid the gift and then he goes up.

  160. Paul goes on to tell Timothy, which was given to you by the

  161. prophecy with the laying on of hands of the eldership.

  162. Meditate on these things. Meditate on these things.

  163. Give yourself entirely or wholly to them, that your progress may

  164. be evident to all. God wants to put you on display

  165. in the world, not for your fame and your fortune, but for his

  166. glory, he said. Meditate on that gift.

  167. Meditation is the matrix of creativity.

  168. Meditation will develop your gifting as you think upon, as

  169. you chew on it, as you ponder the Word of God, your gifting

  170. will be developed. You have to exercise it in order

  171. for it to increase #3 is your treasure.

  172. That's your finances. What are you doing with

  173. finances? Hallelujah, you know the

  174. American mindset is a get all you can can all you get.

  175. Sit on the can, right? Or I'm I'm just saving up.

  176. What does God want you to do? Money was made for loving and

  177. giving, not lusting and taking. Money has a thing called

  178. currency. That means there's a flow to it.

  179. The Bible says as you give, you shall receive.

  180. You want to really flow in the benefit of the Kingdom economic

  181. system and be a take your five and gain 5 more.

  182. Take that opening balance and increase it.

  183. Be a giver Amen of your finances.

  184. You can give your tithe, you can give your offering, you can give

  185. benevolence. The blessing of Abraham says

  186. this. You were blessed to be a

  187. blessing, and it's hard to be a blessing if you're broke.

  188. Oh, I forgot my wallet when we went out to eat.

  189. Can you pay for it? No.

  190. To be a blessing. To believe.

  191. Think about leaving a generous tip.

  192. Why 'cause it's more than food. It's about a life at that

  193. restaurant. How can I communicate truth to

  194. an individual that may be lost when I'm out there?

  195. Right. So what are you doing with your

  196. finances in First Chronicles chapter 29, verses 3 through 5?

    1 Chronicles 29:3–5

  197. This is about King David. He says this, he said.

  198. Moreover, because I've set my affection on the House of my

  199. God, I have given to the House of my God over and above all

  200. that I prepared for the Holy House, my own special treasure

  201. of gold and silver. 3000 talents of gold of the gold of the ofer,

  202. if that's the right way to say that, And 7000 talents of

  203. refined silver to overlay the walls of the houses.

  204. The gold for the things of gold, the silver for the things of

  205. silver, and for all kinds of work to be done by the hands of

  206. Craftsman. Who then is willing to

  207. consecrate in this, this day to the Lord?

  208. Another area that God gave you an opening balance with is your

  209. thoughts. You know God's not going to

  210. control your thoughts for you. This is your soul realm.

  211. We know we're a three-part being right.

  212. We have we are a spirit, we have a soul.

  213. We live in our in a body and your soul is composed of your

  214. mind, your will and your emotions.

  215. Your mind is what you think your thoughts.

  216. What are you thinking on? You're supposed to sue your

  217. thought life Many verses in the Bible that talk about how a

  218. believer, a son or a a child of God should control their thought

  219. life, casting down anything that tries to exalt itself against

  220. the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity.

  221. What are you doing with your thought life?

  222. When when God comes to give an account of what did you do with

  223. your thought life? Romans chapter 12 verse #2 from

    Romans 12 chapter mention

  224. the Johnson translation says this.

  225. Don't let this present age keep you in its cocoon.

  226. Instead, metamorphosize into the new mind so as to be capable of

  227. discerning God's design, which is good and right and mature.

  228. The 5th investment that He's given you with capital is your

  229. temple. What's your temple?

  230. Your body? What are you doing with your

  231. body? Are you taking care of yourself?

  232. You know you could abuse your thought lot, but you could abuse

  233. your body too. Romans chapter 12 verse #1 says

    Romans 12 chapter mention

  234. this. This is from the Phillips

  235. translation. It says as with eyes wide open

  236. to the mercies of God. I beg you, my brothers, as an

  237. act of intelligent worship, to give him your bodies as a living

  238. sacrifice consecrated to Him and acceptable to Him.

  239. So God wants you to do something with your body.

  240. He wants you to take care of yourself.

  241. Listen, as much as ice cream's great, I eat Ben and Jerry's

  242. every night. My glucose is going to be up

  243. right Hallelujah if I don't move around and exercise.

  244. If you don't use it, you lose it, right?

  245. That's the law of use. This has to carry you around

  246. your spirit, man. So if this isn't working and if

  247. your thought life isn't working, Hallelujah, you're going to be

  248. at a tough and a tough crunch. So you got to take care of

  249. yourself. I'm not saying you have to eat

  250. perfect, but be aware. And it's a living sacrifice too.

  251. This, this is not made for viewing wrong material.

  252. My eyes is part of my body. Hallelujah this.

  253. This body was not made for anything unrighteous.

  254. It was made to be holy as He is holy.

  255. So when it says a living sacrifice, I consecrate my body.

  256. 1st Thessalonians 5 says I. I pray that your whole spirit,

  257. soul and body be preserved blameless until the coming Lord

  258. Jesus Christ. So no pornography, no substance

  259. abuse. Amen.

  260. You know, I think if God wanted you to smoke, he would have

  261. turned your nose upside down. So been like a chimney.

  262. But no, He created in you to have dominion over plants,

  263. right? So they don't rule me, I rule

  264. it. The sixth thing is your

  265. temperament. What's your temperament?

  266. What do you do with that investment?

  267. That's a thing called character. We should all be developing

  268. Christ like character. Thank God for the the gifts of

  269. the spirit and the miraculous of God.

  270. But but your talent, some kinds can take you where your

  271. character can't sustain you and God wants you to develop Christ

  272. like character. And this is one of the fruits of

  273. the spirit over in Galatians chapter 5, verses 22 through 23

    Galatians 5:22–23

  274. in the King James version slit it called temperance, other

  275. things called self-control. And so if you're going to have

  276. Christ like character, there's things you're going to say no

  277. to. And so things you say yes to.

  278. But temperance is this. It's being of a calm mind, sober

  279. judgment. You know, in Proverbs it said

  280. it's better to rule your own spirit than to take a city.

  281. So before you conquer the world, conquer yourself.

  282. How you going to go out and tell others not to when you're not

  283. doing it? Romans 2 talks about that.

  284. You tell others not to do this, but you're doing it, so you

  285. better shut up and live it out. Hallelujah.

  286. I'm sorry. Be quiet #7 just because I was

  287. going with TS, I put your ticker, which is your heart.

  288. And as I as I was thinking about this, I thought this term came

  289. up. Don't have a spiritual heart

  290. attack. Don't let your spiritual life

  291. get clogged up with offense. It'll it'll if your heart stops,

  292. you're in trouble. That's why Proverbs 423 says

  293. above all else, guard your heart for out of it flows everything.

  294. Are you taking care of your heart?

  295. You know He came to heal the broken hearted and to bond up

  296. their wounds. Have you let Jesus touch that

  297. place? Have you allowed the Master

  298. Physician to get his spiritual scalpel out and his healing

  299. tools right and and minister to your heart?

  300. There's a bonus one I got as I was praying and I thought I

  301. didn't put it in the notes, but thankfulness, thankfulness,

  302. Hallelujah. First Thessalonians 5, I think

  303. it's over in about verse #18 it says for this is the will of God

  304. to give thanks in all things. There's something about

  305. gratitude or being grateful. There's something about getting,

  306. you know, just thanking God as, as you go to bed tonight, Lord,

  307. thank you that I'm saved, Thank you that I'm filled with the

  308. Holy Spirit. Thank you.

  309. There's food in the refrigerator.

  310. Thank you for the refrigerator. Thank you for air conditioning.

  311. Hallelujah, gratitude, right. Thank you that I'm breathing.

  312. Let everything has breath. Praise the Lord.

  313. But this is the one I really want to get focused in on

  314. tonight is transactions. Transactions cause you're going

  315. to take away. You can go home and study these

  316. other 9 I gave you and let that ministry you let the Holy Spirit

  317. develop and grow those things in you.

  318. And you should as a disciple, you're getting fed.

  319. But once, once learning stops, it's over.

  320. So you need to take the notes, the scriptures, you need to go

  321. home and study you. You can build these out yourself

  322. off of what I just gave you, right?

  323. You can feed yourself off of this appetizer I just gave you.

  324. But now we're getting to the entree which is transactions and

  325. transactions I title I define as this daily interactions and

  326. dealings with humanity. He gave 1512 and one one in that

  327. there's transactions. How is your business, your

  328. exercise, your use with interaction in dealings with

  329. humanity on a daily basis? And there is no greater example

  330. of transactions in doing business in the Lord Jesus

  331. Christ. So I want to go to John chapter

    John 4 chapter mention

  332. 4 and see how was he with humanity and how did he interact

  333. with transit transactions? And we know that He was

  334. fruitful. He took what the Father gave him

  335. and he was on a mission, right? And He increased and did

  336. everything the Father wanted Him to do, just as the Father

  337. desires us to increase and do everything that He wants us to

  338. do. So in John chapter 4, this is

    John 4 chapter mention

  339. the story of the Samaritan woman who meets the Messiah.

  340. And in John chapter 4, verse #1 says.

    John 4 chapter mention

  341. Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees heard that

  342. Jesus made Him baptize more disciples than John, though

  343. Jesus himself did not baptize but His disciples, He left Judea

  344. and departed again to Galilee. He was on a mission.

  345. Jesus just never. He just didn't leave somewhere

  346. 'cause He wanted to. He was fulfilling purpose.

  347. In Isaiah Chapter 9 verse #2 this golden prophet said this

    Isaiah 9 chapter mention

  348. about the Messiah. The people walked in darkness

  349. have seen a great light, Those who dwelt in the land of the

  350. shadow of death. Upon them a light has shined.

  351. So when Jesus left Judea to go to Galilee, He was fulfilling

  352. Isaiah Chapter 9 verse #2 He was on a mission to be light in

    Isaiah 9 chapter mention

  353. darkness. And we see in the Gospel of

  354. Matthew, the 25th chapter, the 18th verse, we just read this on

  355. the parable of the talents. The One went and hid the talent

  356. that He had. But if you back up in Matthew

  357. into Matthew chapter 5 verses 13 through 16, Jesus said this in

    Matthew 5:13–16

  358. Matthew chapter 5 verses 13 through 16, you are the salt of

    Matthew 5:13–16

  359. the earth. But if the salt loses its

  360. flavor, how shall it be seasoned?

  361. It's then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled

  362. under foot by men. You are the light of the world.

  363. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden, nor do they

  364. light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and

  365. it gives light to all who are in the house.

  366. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good

  367. works and glorify your Father, which is in heaven.

  368. He went to let His light shine in a dark place.

  369. I'm telling you tonight God is sending you to make your light

  370. shine in a dark place. He said that you as disciples,

  371. sons and and daughters of God, you are the salt of the earth.

  372. In order to salt to work, it has to make contact.

  373. If you don't reach, nobody gets touched.

  374. That means when I'm going about my daily business and my

  375. transactions. Are you listening to the Holy

  376. Spirit on what He wants you to do?

  377. I know a lot of times I'm on AI, live out of a daytime, or I live

  378. on a schedule. But is your schedule too busy

  379. for interruptions? And sometimes interruptions are

  380. God. You know, they're divine

  381. interruptions. They're divine encounters that

  382. God actually wants you to connect with somebody.

  383. You know, you've been at Walmart before.

  384. Well, no, let's go to where shopping is a pleasure, Publix,

  385. and you're turning your cart down the one aisle and you see

  386. somebody that you don't want to talk to, so they didn't see you.

  387. What do you do? You duck down the other aisle.

  388. Has anybody ever done that 'cause you don't want to get

  389. stuck in a conversation, right? I've done it.

  390. Hallelujah. I'll be honest, but sometimes

  391. you need to stop and listen and say, Holy Spirit, is there

  392. anything you want me to do in this moment?

  393. And Jesus was always listening to what the Father was telling

  394. him. And he's saying the same thing.

  395. I let my light shine. You need to let your light

  396. shine. The five towns, the two towns,

  397. the one towns. Are you letting your light

  398. shine? You know, light, light doesn't

  399. make a sound, but it could be seen.

  400. So do people see you? Salt has words with it.

  401. So that's how it makes contact. But he said this over in in John

    John 4 chapter mention

  402. chapter 4 verse #3 as we go on along in the story, verse 4.

  403. But he needed to go through Samaria.

  404. So he left Judea, depart again to go to Galilee.

  405. Now Judea was a southern region of ancient Israel, and it was a

  406. center of Jewish religious life, home to Jerusalem and to the

  407. Temple. Galilee was in the northern part

  408. of Israel. So jeez, that's about a 75 mile

  409. journey from southern Israel to northern.

  410. And Jesus and the Father told him to go, you need to go to

  411. Galilee. But Jesus really didn't want to

  412. go through Samaria per SE, because Samaria was where the

  413. northern capital of Israel used to be.

  414. But it was overthrown in 722 BC by the Assyrians.

  415. And in that when the Assyrians overtook it because of Israel's

  416. rebellion, we had what we call a, a mixed race of people that

  417. were being dominated by Assyrian culture policy and it was

  418. becoming a intermixed race of Gentiles and Jews.

  419. So in Judea, listen, they consider themselves pure Jews.

  420. They consider them half breeds in Sumeria.

  421. So the Jews didn't want to go through Sumeria.

  422. Matter of fact, if they were going to northern Galilee, there

  423. was alternative routes, although the quickest route was straight

  424. through Sumeria. But most Jews want to go by the

  425. coastal lands and by the Jordan Valley to go around Samaria

  426. because there was animosity and because they looked down upon

  427. them. But this verse says Jesus needed

  428. to go through. It was necessary by divine

  429. counsel and decree. I'll put it this way.

  430. Romans 814 says as many as are led by the Spirit.

  431. These are the sons of God. Why was the Holy Spirit poured

  432. out in the book of Acts? It just wasn't to bless you, it

  433. was endue you with a power so that you'd be a witness.

  434. What is a witness? I testify to the Lord Jesus

  435. Christ. If I'm at Publix, I am a

  436. witness. If I'm at the gas station, I am

  437. a witness. If I'm at the gym, I am a

  438. witness If I'm at church, I'm a witness If I'm at home.

  439. You want to find a really spiritual person.

  440. You don't find them at church. You go home with them and watch

  441. how they live. But he, the Holy Spirit was

  442. given so we could be a witness. And Jesus was led by the Spirit

  443. to go through Samaria. Now this would take this whole

  444. journey was about two to three days to get to Galilee.

  445. It was only about 30 miles from Judea to Samaria.

  446. And when Jesus gets to Samaria, it says he came in verse 4 to

  447. the city of Samaria, which is called Sikar, near the plot of

  448. ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

  449. Now in verse 6 it says now Jacob's well was there.

  450. Jesus therefore being wearied from his journey, sat thus by

  451. the well was about the 6th hour, about noon.

  452. You know, you can get weary in daily dealings and it's only

  453. 12:00 and Jesus was already tired.

  454. He was already exhausted. But Galatians 6 Chapter 9 verse

  455. chapter 6 verse #9 says don't grow weary and well doing.

  456. For in due due season you shall reap.

  457. If you don't lose harder, you don't faint.

  458. But even in his weariness, Jesus is ready and he's always

  459. listening to what is the Father saying, just as we as sons and

  460. daughters of God should always be listening to what is the

  461. Father saying? You know, he has the absolute

  462. answer and solution for anything that we're going through in

  463. life. Do you he, do you realize he

  464. cares about you? He wants to see it go well for

  465. you, but he also wants you to be a blessing if you would just

  466. trust him. We sang that song.

  467. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and if he's asking you to do

  468. something, do you trust what he's asking you?

  469. And so he was wearied from the journey.

  470. Now this is an amazing transaction and story.

  471. He's at the right place at the right time to have a divine

  472. encounter. It says in verse #7 A woman of

  473. Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, give me a

  474. drink. For Jesus disciples had gone

  475. away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said

  476. to him, How's it that you, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a

  477. Samaritan woman? For the Jews have no dealings

  478. with the Samaritans. Notice this isn't in a

  479. synagogue. This isn't in a church.

  480. This is in daily life. What are you going to encounter

  481. tomorrow? Who are you going to encounter

  482. tomorrow? Who could you encounter Friday

  483. this weekend that God's going to connect you with for you to be a

  484. witness to him? Daily interactions and dealings.

  485. We need to be people that reach. We need to be people that care.

  486. We need people that extend the truth.

  487. We take, you know, somebody's hand and we try to connect it to

  488. Jesus hand, so to speak. And if you're willing to be

  489. used, God will meet you where you are.

  490. And then in verse #10 Jesus answered and said to her, If you

  491. knew the gift of God and who it is, who says you give me a

  492. drink, you would have asked him, He would have given you living

  493. water. The woman said to him, Sir, you

  494. have nothing to draw with and the well is deep.

  495. Where then do you get that living water?

  496. What an evangelistic tool ask of questions by Jesus.

  497. The woman said, Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave

  498. us the well and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and

  499. his livestock? Jesus answered and said to her,

  500. Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever

  501. drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst, but

  502. the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of

  503. water, springing up an everlasting life.

  504. The woman said him, Sir, give me this drink, that I may not

  505. thirst nor come here to draw. Jesus said to her, go call your

  506. husband and come here. The woman answered and said, I

  507. have no husband. Jesus said you have well said

  508. you have no husband, for you've had five husbands and the one

  509. whom you now have is not your husband.

  510. And that you spoke truly while we have a divine encounter with

  511. a woman at the well who Jesus isn't supposed to be talking to,

  512. but he's talking to what I'm saying.

  513. There's a lost, hurting, dying world out there and we don't, we

  514. don't want to get so church sensitive that we don't realize

  515. there's people out there that need reached in our daily

  516. transactions. Are you willing to go to the

  517. down and outer? Are you willing to go to the up

  518. and outer 'cause anybody doesn't have Jesus's out and you could

  519. be broken out, you could be rich and out, but everybody needs

  520. touched that does not know Jesus.

  521. And he goes from, he's talking really this lady about the

  522. source of life. What do you draw from?

  523. What is your source? And I just love how he

  524. evangelizes her 'cause he asks her questions that get her

  525. thinking. She's like, man, I want this

  526. living water. He said if you knew the gift of

  527. God, in order to give yourself as a gift, you need to see

  528. yourself as a gift. Do you see yourself as a gift?

  529. Over in Matthew chapter 10 verse #8 it says freely you have

    Matthew 10 chapter mention

  530. received, freely give. It's the gift that I have is

  531. from God and He wants you to exercise that gift on the inside

  532. of you. So see yourself as a gift.

  533. He's put the capital, the investment in you to be a world

  534. changer. So he's talking about living

  535. water. It gets intriguing to her.

  536. She's like, man, I want this thing, I need this thing.

  537. I don't want to draw again. You know what?

  538. And then Jesus changes subjects on her.

  539. He goes from living water. What's the other source that

  540. you're really trying to draw from eHarmony?

  541. What's farmers.com? I'm not trying to knock dating

  542. sources, but are you just trying to draw from the wrong source?

  543. This woman had been through five people husbands and the one

  544. she's with now, she's living in adultery.

  545. Jesus talked to a lady that was in a in living in fornication.

  546. Does that shake our religious brain?

  547. And he said you're trying to draw from the wrong source.

  548. Lust is insatiable, which means if you're in a lusting

  549. relationship, it's never gonna fulfill you.

  550. It's it is a cup with holes in it when you pour water and it

  551. just leaks out. And he's saying you are you're

  552. drawing from the wrong source. And you have been drawn from the

  553. wrong source. A man is never gonna fulfill all

  554. your needs. The Bible says to love me with

  555. all your heart, soul and mine. The Bible says that you're

  556. complete in me. You can't find your completeness

  557. in a spouse. Thank God.

  558. Marriage is a blessing. But I'm at where I'm at in my

  559. marriage because of God. And we recognize a three chord

  560. strand is not easily broken. And Angie and I realized that

  561. He's the foundation that keeps us on solid ground.

  562. And apart from him, we could do nothing.

  563. We abide in the vine. The vine abides in US.

  564. And we bring forth much fruit in our transactions in marriage

  565. because we stay in the word of God, just like you can bring

  566. forth much, much fruit when you stay in him.

  567. And he said, you're drawn from the wrong thing.

  568. He didn't even tell to repent. This, this is the greatest

  569. marketing tool. It's amazing when you read this

  570. story, but let. Let's go on.

  571. We'll get there. So going on from that.

  572. And then she said, Sir, I perceive you're a prophet.

  573. I just think that's so funny. Yeah.

  574. And then she tries to change subjects.

  575. She says this in verse #20 she said to Jesus, our fathers

  576. worshipped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem

  577. is the place where you ought to worship.

  578. So once again, we have the divide between the Samaritans

  579. and the Judeans and the argument, where are you really

  580. supposed to worship at? You say you're supposed to

  581. worship in Jerusalem. We say we worship, you know, in

  582. Samaria. And he said, woman, believe me.

  583. The hour is coming you when you were neither on this mountain.

  584. That's where they worship in Samaria nor in Jerusalem worship

  585. the Father. You worship what you know not we

  586. know what we worship for salvation is of the Jews.

  587. Then he gives us he he invests this principle into her.

  588. He says the hour is coming and now is when the true worshippers

  589. will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the

  590. Father is seeking such to worship Him.

  591. God is spirit, Those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit

  592. and in truth. So he invested this principle of

  593. worship here. He said, listen, I am giving you

  594. this to change your life. It's not about a location, it's

  595. about the heart and it's about truth.

  596. You haven't she said Sir, I know that when the Messiah is coming,

  597. who is called Christ, when he comes, he will tell us all

  598. things Jesus said to her. I who speak in he the gospel of

  599. John is interesting. There's a lot of IMS in the

  600. Gospel of John and this woman me and Samaritan knew all the way

  601. back in Exodus 314 when Moses said to God, who should I say

  602. to? Israel sent me.

  603. God answered Moses and told him to say I am.

  604. Tell him I am sent you. Jesus told this Samaritan woman

  605. I am. So she realized, man, you are

  606. the anointed king. He just identified himself as

  607. the Son of God to her. But he gave her a tool called

  608. worship so that when he left she could still serve him and not

  609. the things that was lustful in her life.

  610. At that point we go on to verse verse 27.

  611. At that point his disciples came and they marvelled that Jesus

  612. talked with a woman, yet the disciples no one said him and

  613. yet no one said what do you seek or why are you talking with her.

  614. The woman then left her water pot, went her way in the city

  615. and said to the men, notice to shit, she didn't go to the

  616. women. Why 'cause she was a loose

  617. woman. I thought this is great

  618. marketing Jesus, and I like this, 'cause my new King James

  619. Version says when the woman left, her water pot went away in

  620. the city. She went seeking for water with

  621. her water pot, dropped her water pot and became water.

  622. She became the water pot. And then verse 29 says come see

  623. a man. Now the word man in my Bible is

  624. capitalized. I would like to think that she

  625. said to these men when she went back, come see the man, 'cause

  626. you all are jokers. But I found a man, which is the

  627. man. And if you find the man, you

  628. could be a man and not just a male, 'cause when a man acts

  629. like a child, it forces his mother, his wife, to act like

  630. his mother, she said. When a man acts like a child, it

  631. forces his wife to act like his mother.

  632. And you can't Make Love to your Mama, Hallelujah.

  633. Something just ain't right. Turn your neighbor and say grow

  634. up. Turn to them one another and say

  635. God wants you to grow up. Hallelujah.

  636. So she drops her water pot becomes a water pot, she goes

  637. the men, she becomes a marketing tool for Jesus.

  638. And and she said to these men, this man told me everything I

  639. ever did. Could this be the Christ?

  640. Then they all went out of the city.

  641. They all went out of the city. This is revival.

  642. One woman's encounter with the King and her going to be a

  643. witness in the city was she was from drew all the men out of the

  644. city and said we've got to see this man.

  645. In the meantime, his disciples urge him saying Rabbi eat.

  646. So is his disciples. And then we get in the natural

  647. so much and we got to live in the natural.

  648. So don't get spooky weird with me.

  649. I know my wife said she'll slap you in love if you get fruity.

  650. And if you think you're if you think you're being fruity, just

  651. come see her. She'll tell you if you're being

  652. fruity or not 'cause some people are so heavily minded.

  653. No, no earthly good. But some people are so earthly

  654. minded. Oh heavenly good.

  655. So balance is the key to life, right?

  656. But when the the disciples are gone, remember, because Jesus

  657. got tired because it's noon and he wanted a meal.

  658. He's like, you need to go to Zaxby's.

  659. I'm hungry, I'm tired from walking.

  660. And so they think, man, we're, they're coming back.

  661. And Can you imagine the disciples come back and they're,

  662. they're coming thinking we're going to help him 'cause we left

  663. him in weariness. We know that he was hungry.

  664. We're coming back with food. And they see him talking to a

  665. woman, let alone she was also Samaritan.

  666. So this is like a double whammy. And they're like, what is going

  667. on right now? But you know that this is this

  668. is how the Kingdom just trusts his religion.

  669. This is how the Kingdom crushes religion.

  670. This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world,

  671. every sector of society. We are Kingdom ambassadors,

  672. Kingdom representatives. And I'm telling you, you're

  673. going out tomorrow. We got LG.

  674. He was over there. He went out.

  675. Where's he at? He's right there.

  676. He played for Notre Dame and when they come out of the locker

  677. room, maybe we should get a sign back to LG.

  678. It said play like champions today, right?

  679. And they had to touch that sign before they went on the field.

  680. Listen, you're getting equipped tonight, fed a meal, but you

  681. need to play like a champion tomorrow.

  682. Who are you going to encounter tomorrow?

  683. That could be at church on Sunday and they don't have to.

  684. You don't have to wait to get him at church on Sunday to get

  685. saved. You could lead him the Lord

  686. tomorrow, but be LED. You need to know some things are

  687. seeds, some things are water, some things are till in the

  688. ground. We pick the fruit when it's

  689. ripe. And this lady was ripe.

  690. She was at the end of her rope after going through six men.

  691. She was tired. She's like, I'm emotionally

  692. broke. Am I ever gonna find a real man?

  693. That's probably was her prayer. She found a real man.

  694. She's saying, Lord, give me a real man.

  695. And she found Jesus. Really.

  696. Jesus found her. And so the disciples come back

  697. and they're like, man, we're going to get the rabbi something

  698. to eat. But they're blown away that he's

  699. talking to this lady. And the disciples urged him

  700. saying eat. And then he makes the same and

  701. he says, I have food to eat. Of what you do not know.

  702. Therefore the disciples said to one another, has someone else

  703. brought him something to eat and then Jesus gives the principal

  704. Jesus said them my food. Listen, this is our take away

  705. tonight. My our food say this, our food

  706. is to do the do the will of him who sent me and to finish his

  707. work. Let's say it again, our food is

  708. to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

  709. And then Jesus go on to verse 35.

  710. He says, do you not say there are still four months?

  711. And then comes the harvest. Behold, I say to you, lift up

  712. your eyes and look at the fields, for they already white

  713. for harvest. And he who reaps receives wages

  714. and gathers fruit for eternal life.

  715. That both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

  716. That he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

  717. That he who sows. And he that reaps may rejoice

  718. together. That he that sows, and that he

  719. that reaps may rejoice together. Some things you're going to sow,

  720. some things you're going to reap.

  721. But we rejoice together at the harvest.

  722. It's not unto it's us, but to him be all the glory.

  723. Lord, I thank you that I could sow, I thank you that I could

  724. water, and I thank God for the harvest.

  725. Jesus in Matthew Chapter 9, he said the harvest is plentiful.

    Matthew 9 chapter mention

  726. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his

  727. vineyard. Jesus was moved with compassion

  728. when he saw people scattered and dismayed and broken.

  729. It moved his heart and he prayed to the Father.

  730. He said we need more laborers. Part of the vision of Anchor

  731. Faith Church is to ignite this city.

  732. There are people lost in this city.

  733. We go to West Augustine, we go to Family Counts, we go to

  734. Flagler, we go. We do homeless outreach, right?

  735. We go to all these places. Why?

  736. To do the will of God, to connect broken humanity with

  737. truth, to see them come into the Kingdom of God, and to see them

  738. restore to fellowship with Him. For, and this saying is true,

  739. one sows, another reaps. I sent you to reap that for

  740. which you have not labored. Others have labored and you've

  741. entered into their laborers. So he gives the disciples the

  742. the truth of what he's doing and what he wants them to do.

  743. He said my food, my nourishment really comes from serving.

  744. God. Let me put it this way, if it's

  745. interesting, he was weary before he started this evangelistic

  746. outreach, but in reaching out, reaching out, he, he gained

  747. strength. Listen, the Dead Sea is dead

  748. because everything flows into it, but nothing flows out.

  749. You come every Sunday and Wednesday you come to 318

  750. discipleship. You come to call her blessed and

  751. praise God for that's right, because of the five fold

  752. ministry was getting for the equipping of Saints.

  753. But if all you do is ever, all you do is ever receive and never

  754. give, your plumbing's gonna be stopped up right?

  755. And the Dead Sea attracts things 'cause there's no movement, you

  756. know, when you have a, a, a body of water that is there is not

  757. flowing mosquitoes and all those other things get around from it.

  758. And what I'm saying is if you're feeling weary, maybe you need to

  759. give out. If you're feeling tired, maybe

  760. you need to do something spiritual.

  761. Hallelujah. And then this is the result we

  762. see in verse 39 through 43, 'cause this is the law of

  763. capital. And many of the Samaritans,

  764. these half bred Jews and Gentiles, this race of people

  765. that was looked down on, that Jesus was led to.

  766. It says many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the

  767. word of the woman who testified. Why was the Holy Spirit given us

  768. to be a witness and to testify? And this woman testified about

  769. Jesus. He told me everything that I

  770. did. So when the Samaritans had come

  771. to him, they urged Jesus to stay with him.

  772. He stayed with him two days, and many more believed because of

  773. his own word. Then they said to the woman, Now

  774. we believe not because of what you said, for we ourselves have

  775. heard him, and we know that he is indeed Christ, the Savior of

  776. the world. What are you gonna do with what

  777. God's given you? Are you going to exercise and

  778. use what He's given you? Or are you going to not and have

  779. disuse and loss in your life? These areas that I've given you

  780. to think about, to ponder, time, talent, treasure, thoughts, your

  781. temple, your temperament, your ticker, your trust, your

  782. transactions? What are you going to do with

  783. what God's given you?
