  1. Luke chapter 12 verse 32 says this.

    Luke 12:32

  2. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen

  3. gladly to give you the Kingdom. Amen.

  4. Well, aren't you glad we have No Fear.

  5. No Fear? That doesn't mean fear doesn't

  6. come. But we know how to address it.

  7. All right? We are not afraid in this life.

  8. And no matter what we hear going on in the world, that doesn't

  9. bring fear to us. OK, so he said, do not be

  10. afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly.

  11. It's his good pleasure to give us the Kingdom.

  12. Now, the Kingdom is not something that we receive once

  13. we die. The Kingdom is something we

  14. receive once we're born and again that's why Jesus said now

  15. when you pray, pray to us way our Father who art in heaven,

  16. hallowed be your name, your Kingdom, what your will be on as

  17. it is. Amen.

  18. So the Kingdom allows us to be able to have the opportunity to

  19. pull Kingdom into the planet. Right now.

  20. It's not something we're waiting on.

  21. So kingdom's not heaven, Kingdom is the the rule of the king and

  22. his dominion. It's the government of God, all

  23. right, and God sits on a throne. God the Father sits on the

  24. throne, his son Jesus sits at his right hand.

  25. And we've been raised up once we're born again and we're

  26. seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

  27. Now that just simply means that we, we are in the position of

  28. authority that the King Jesus himself, right?

  29. He, his authority has been delegated down to us.

  30. All right? So praise God for that.

  31. So we need to know that God is always in his Kingdom, cannot be

  32. shaken. His Kingdom cannot be defeated.

  33. His Kingdom will never be defeated.

  34. Amen. His Kingdom will reign for

  35. eternity and so we're already in that Kingdom today and its

  36. benefits are towards His citizens, which happened to be

  37. His sons and daughters, of which we all happen to be royalty.

  38. Glory to God, so He's chosen to give us the Kingdom.

  39. Well, in order for you to receive the Kingdom of God or

  40. have access to it, it is knowing the will of God again, our

  41. Father, not Jesus his Father, but our Father, our Father which

  42. lives in heaven or art in heaven, hallowed be your name,

  43. your Kingdom come, your will be on.

  44. So God the Father's will in heaven can manifest in the earth

  45. and in order for that will to to manifest in the earth, then we

  46. need to know what he is saying. His word is his will.

  47. I said his word is his will. And where Ecclesiastes 84 says

  48. where the word of the king is, there's power.

  49. And so we have the word of the king.

  50. And that's amazing because on Sunday, you know, we touched

  51. based about not wavering and that faith comes by hearing.

  52. Now faith comes by hearing period.

  53. Because everyone is developing A belief and firm persuasion in

  54. life based on what they hear. So if they hear CNN and they

  55. believe the experts and then they will model their lives

  56. based upon those. Same thing with Fox News, MSNBC,

  57. NPR, whatever source you're listening to.

  58. Cheddar News, it doesn't matter. Same thing with entertainment.

  59. Same thing with health. You go to your doctor, right?

  60. And he begins to tell you some certain things.

  61. You may have never studied it out.

  62. You've never looked at any research concerning it, but yet

  63. you trust them and their word concerning the diagnosis.

  64. So much so that we will go and get a prescription of a drug

  65. that we have. We're not at the plant or the

  66. you know where they produced it nor know the credentials of

  67. anyone who does on it. It will tell us what it is

  68. supposed to do, but also will give us a list of side effects,

  69. right? Have you ever watched the

  70. commercials about what you can have, right?

  71. And, you know, and, but you know that when they're doing the side

  72. effects, everybody's laughing and smiling, you know, so you're

  73. tuned into how happy everyone is, you know, because they're

  74. not showing you during the side effects comments of what that

  75. looks like, right? You know, you may have a stroke

  76. that leads to death. You don't see that in the

  77. commercial because if you saw that you like, I'm not taking

  78. that so they don't demonstrate and I'm not making light of

  79. that. What I'm saying is they're

  80. giving you a picture of hope. Meaning if it functions as we

  81. have designed it, it is there to help you.

  82. However, they some people may have an adverse effect to it.

  83. Now here's the good news. When God speaks on a matter and

  84. you obey it, it only has good benefit.

  85. There are no side effects but what his word says.

  86. So we put our trust in words all the time.

  87. So you, you go down, you get the prescription and then, you know,

  88. they give it to you. And again, you're believing that

  89. the right prescription is in that bottle.

  90. I mean, you've never seen it before and we'll put it in our

  91. mouth. Now, has there not been cases of

  92. people who put prescription in that they, the pharmacist filled

  93. the wrong thing and it for some it was fatal, right.

  94. But yet even though we know that's the case, our firm

  95. persuasion. And what do I mean by firm

  96. persuasion? Firm persuasion means you act on

  97. it, you open it up, it says take, you know, one time daily

  98. or twice daily, you put it in, you ingest it and you're

  99. believing that the positive aspects of this prescription is

  100. going to affect my body positively and that is faith.

  101. That's what faith is. Faith is not saying, well, I

  102. believe the doctor in the prescription he gave me will

  103. work, but then you never take the prescription.

  104. If you never take the prescription, then you're not

  105. actually in faith. It doesn't matter that you

  106. purchased it doesn't matter that it's at the house because it

  107. doesn't do what it was supposed to do unless you put it in.

  108. Same thing is you can have the Bible at the house, right?

  109. You can hear what God has said about something, but unless

  110. you're acting on it, being a doer of that word, then you're

  111. not in faith and you can have hope.

  112. Well, you know what? I just believe what you're

  113. really saying. I hope that what it says comes

  114. to pass, but it will never get into coming to pass till you get

  115. in faith. All right, So when you take

  116. prescriptions, vitamins, whatever you, that's your faith

  117. action that it is because you've put it in.

  118. It's becoming a part of your system now, and the only way it

  119. gets out is if you go to the doctor and they pump it out

  120. because it gets in your bloodstream.

  121. It goes throughout your body, OK?

  122. It's a part of who you are. God wants the faith, our faith

  123. in him to be a part of who we are.

  124. It's it's our being because he said we are to live by faith.

  125. So it's our being. It's how we function.

  126. And the reason we can is because our God, the creator of heaven

  127. and earth, the only God, is not a man that he should lie.

  128. So he's never lied. He's light and there's no

  129. darkness in him. He is not a liar.

  130. So what he says he will do? Hallelujah, man, that's good

  131. news. I said that's good news and that

  132. strengthens me because I know that the King of all creation,

  133. that when he speaks a word to me, I know it shall be and his

  134. His word is trustworthy, is without fault or failure.

  135. It is only for my benefit so that I can be all that God needs

  136. me to do be and receive the benefits that he's called me to

  137. be now because Adam, you know, disobeyed God in in Genesis

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  138. chapter 3 when he said you can eat from any tree of the garden,

  139. but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

  140. You shall not eat for the day you eat, you'll die.

  141. And did did what God say come to pass?

  142. Because what he says comes to pass?

  143. So but because that took place, God says, OK, in order for man

  144. to have dominion, I'm going to have to send my own son to get

  145. that back because I said man's going to have dominion.

  146. I'm going to give him a pathway back to dominion.

  147. I always do what I said. Now man's free will.

  148. And if he doesn't want what I have for him, he could choose

  149. different, but he'll have the result of a difference.

  150. Because my design for man is that he would be my child, He

  151. would be of my nature, and he would rule and reign with me.

  152. If you want to do a different path, you can.

  153. But that different path leads you into the prison system of

  154. the Kingdom, which is rebellion. And ultimately you're cast into

  155. the lake of fire. And that's never where God

  156. wanted you to be because obedience brings life.

  157. Disobedience brings death. So God has to bring Jesus so

  158. that he can redeem man. And now that the world has

  159. fallen, there's this attack on the Word.

  160. Now let me, I'll even go this far without a fallen earth.

  161. There is attack on God's word. Because in the garden, before

  162. sin entered the earth, the one who fell from heaven, the

  163. morning star, the King James calls him Lucifer.

  164. We call him Satan or the Devil. He came into the garden to tempt

  165. Eve to, to, to get him, her and her husband to disobey the word

  166. of God. Once he found out what God's

  167. word was, he needed to know what God's word was.

  168. He says, has God said because he's looking, because he knows,

  169. he knows he was in heaven, he was there.

  170. He knows God does what he says. So when he found out that God

  171. said you can eat any tree, but not this one or you'll die, he

  172. said you're not going to die. So he's the liar.

  173. He is the father of lies. And so he lied to the to her and

  174. convinced her to eat the fruit of which Adam just totally

  175. rebelled. And now the devil has the

  176. dominion that Adam once possessed.

  177. He's carrying that dominion and God's going to have to come back

  178. and get that dominion back. But now that the world has a

  179. fallen state to it, those there is a constant attack on the word

  180. of God. But when you know God's word and

  181. the attack comes, you know it's just a test.

  182. It's only a test. Remember that.

  183. Now I'm going to date myself a little bit and some of y'all

  184. going to get really excited that I do this.

  185. But remember you back in the day, you'd had that little beep,

  186. beep, beep, come on, you know. And then they go, this is a test

  187. of the National Broadcasting system.

  188. This is only a test. If it had been a a real

  189. emergency, right, then they would have communicated further

  190. that, you know, Russia's come and bombed us or China or

  191. whatever the case may be, right? But it was only a test.

  192. All right, well, let's look at James chapter 1 verses 2 through

    James 1:2–8

  193. 8. It says now consider it all joy.

  194. Just go ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. All right, do it again, OK, Now

  195. that is not joy, that's laughing.

  196. OK, All right, Because joy is actually a fruit.

  197. But joy will produce laughter, OK?

  198. So consider it all joy, you know?

  199. So again, make sure you're laughing with the actual fruit

  200. of joy, not just laughing. So consider it all joy, my

  201. brethren, when say, when, when you encounter various trials.

  202. So when you encounter various trials is letting us know grab

  203. the fruit of joy. Don't get depressed, don't get

  204. upset, don't get mad. Grab the fruit of joy.

  205. OK? And Jesus said this, in this

  206. life you're going to have trials and tribulations.

  207. But be of good cheer, for I have now that's the word of the King.

  208. Your king said that. He said, now be of good cheer.

  209. I've overcome the world. It doesn't matter what they say

  210. to you. What I've said to you is all

  211. that matters. All right?

  212. So consider it all joy, my brother, when encounter, when

  213. you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your

  214. faith produces endurance, stay here.

  215. So the testing of your faith produces endurance.

  216. So there is a testing of your faith, and God has no problem

  217. with your faith being tested. You know why?

  218. Because He's not intimidated with a test.

  219. Now I'm going to some of you've heard this before, but I am

  220. going to cause it to come to your remembrance again.

  221. All right. And so for those who've heard

  222. it, just say Amen. For those who have it, listen

  223. and learn. So when I was in high school as

  224. a test taker, OK, in order for me to test, well #1I studied.

  225. Can I just say that I study. And there's a biblical principle

  226. that the Holy Spirit will cause things to come to your, not come

  227. to your mind that you don't know about.

  228. Unless you're standing before authorities at that point, then

  229. you don't have to worry about what to say cuz He'll give it to

  230. you. But when it comes to tests, you

  231. should have something in the tank.

  232. So I would study all right. So in order to not allow all

  233. that I studied the night before to get logged up in my mind to

  234. to go poof, gone. You know, some people have

  235. stress when it comes to tests. They've done it on in paper, but

  236. they also do it in faith stress when the test comes.

  237. But again, if you have knowledge, what's the problem

  238. with the test? A test is only to find out what

  239. you know. Now, if you don't study, then

  240. you need to stress. I mean, it's your fault because

  241. again, you know, you know as well well as I do that we

  242. receive these things called pop quizzes.

  243. And again, that's, you know, one of those like really, you going

  244. to give me a pop quiz where I've not even had an opportunity?

  245. Now, typically they go and stuff they assume you've learned at

  246. some juncture. And is it?

  247. Can you recall it to your mind? That may be true.

  248. Sometimes they're just mean to let you know.

  249. You don't know. And that's why you need to let

  250. me teach you right now. Like, man, I've never seen this

  251. before in my life. Well, This is why I'm teaching

  252. you. OK, pop quiz.

  253. Guess what? You don't know.

  254. You're not so smart, are you? OK.

  255. That's why I'm the teacher. So sit down and take some notes.

  256. All right. But most of the time when the

  257. test came, it's after we have been giving the given the

  258. opportunity to study. So what I would do so that I all

  259. this stuff that I had in my mind did not disappear through

  260. stress. They would give us the test, you

  261. know, about 2025 students in the class.

  262. Here's the test. I have my pencil, not a pen, but

  263. we're just for example, I'll bring it back to her.

  264. Stacey, you're so sweet. Stacey's like, you know, he

  265. stole Pastor Marcie's. OK, I just pulled from my my one

  266. flesh. You know, I'm going to give so.

  267. And it's pink too. I would never keep this.

  268. And it's kind of bulky too. With that being said, I have the

  269. test. Everybody.

  270. I did this with the SAT exams, any college interest, it didn't

  271. matter. I did this and they said, OK,

  272. begin. I put my pencil down and then I

  273. would look around in the room. Now, it's not because I'm trying

  274. to get people's answers. I'm waiting for every person to

  275. start. It's my way to say I got this.

  276. I've studied, I'm confident. I man, the minute I open this

  277. thing up and start, I got it. I'm not going to sit here and

  278. allow anxiousness to cloud my judgment.

  279. I got this. So that was my way of saying I

  280. got this and I waited till everyone started.

  281. Then I would pick up my pencil. I flipped to that first page.

  282. I read that first question, if it happened to be a question

  283. that was like that did not faze me because this is, it was never

  284. a one question test, people. It's never a one question test.

  285. So I'm like, fine, I'll go to #2 I would go till I found the one

  286. I like. Booyah, there it is.

  287. Bam, I got that. I know that's right.

  288. And this flood of confidence and all of a sudden, you know,

  289. because a lot of times Tess would you'd answer a few things

  290. and you're like, oh, that's eliminated some stuff.

  291. So I can go back here. And now I'm I'm there now I'm

  292. wanting a big multiple choice person.

  293. And I really hated true and false because if I did not know

  294. 5050, I had 100% chance of always getting the wrong 50%.

  295. I don't know why that was 5050 chance to get it right.

  296. I typically was 100% wrong at that guess anyway.

  297. And I would just go through and man, I did so good on tests,

  298. never did stress, no problem at all.

  299. Why? Because you know what I

  300. considered something prior I would not let the the challenge

  301. rock me to where now what's in me can't come out.

  302. And you know, a lot of times when it comes to believers that

  303. the minute you like Woo, you're in a service jump and shouting,

  304. hey, Woo, you know God's this and you're saying all that he

  305. is. And then you get out and get

  306. tested with that. You know, I'm going to go to

  307. Bible school. Well, you're coming to test.

  308. You're coming to test schools. What you're coming to.

  309. Can I get all my FCU students to stand up?

  310. Welcome to the test, right? And test is not this week.

  311. What you have this week. Test is every day now because

  312. everything you're learning, you're going to encounter it

  313. somewhere else outside. Am I not right?

  314. And you're like, man, what I just learned in class is like in

  315. my face right now and I have to apply this deal because that's

  316. where you succeed. You can be seated.

  317. Success does not come by getting a multiple choice question.

  318. I have never taken one of my exams from from my Bible college

  319. and waved it in the devil's face and say, ha ha, ha.

  320. I've never taken my degree off and put it in his face and say,

  321. do you see that I have a doctorate at Faith Christian

  322. University? Why are you even having a

  323. conversation with me right now? You've been cast out, bro.

  324. No, that does not intimidate him.

  325. It does not. Those things are there so that

  326. what's in me can come out in situations, you know, again, as

  327. a believer, Jesus never promised you easy life.

  328. He did promise you an easy yoke. He did do that.

  329. He said my yoke is easy. It's light, you know, Cast your

  330. care on me. He never promised you a a life

  331. free of conflict. But he did offer you a life

  332. where you do not have to worry and actually told you not to

  333. worry. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  334. Heaven. You're in here.

  335. Were you in here with my announcement?

  336. What? Yeah, I've been in here.

  337. OK, I didn't see originally Heaven stand up.

  338. This is coastal nutrition right here.

  339. Give it up. All right.

  340. OK, I didn't see you during the big announcement.

  341. You were hiding behind Miss Mary there.

  342. I see how it is. OK, so with that being said, so

  343. you have to consider it joy. So you understand when you enter

  344. into faith on God's word and conflict, which is guaranteed

  345. coming, let me just say it this way, I've never conquered

  346. something in faith without conflict.

  347. There's never been a time, never been a time that I believe God

  348. for something He spoke to me and there was not an issue prior to

  349. it coming to pass. Now, when I first started, it

  350. was, you know, less of a conflict.

  351. It seemed like not a whole lot showed up.

  352. It seemed like almost like, wow, whatever I'm saying just comes

  353. to pass, but there was a few issues, but it would come to

  354. pass so fast. And God's trying to build

  355. confidence. I look, I, I do this, I do this,

  356. I always do my word. Then I get into season where the

  357. Lord's like, you know, I'm not intimidated how long they want

  358. to attack you or are those contrary thoughts come towards

  359. you. Just stay with what I said

  360. because there's times in certain aspects of the faith walk that

  361. patience is required because it's through faith and patience

  362. that we inherit. Some things that God says to us

  363. we can have immediately, period. Other times it's through faith

  364. and patience. And again, I do not apply the

  365. faith and patience to my immediate stuff.

  366. What I know I can have immediately, I have immediately.

  367. I'm not patient for that because I know God will give it to me

  368. immediately. However, there are aspects of

  369. this walk with the Lord that does require faith and patience,

  370. and I can't expect it immediately.

  371. This is why I don't get discouraged when it doesn't come

  372. immediately because I understand this aspect of faith takes some

  373. time. Specifically your purpose in

  374. life. OK certain things.

  375. Because again, God doesn't give you everything that you're going

  376. to do right out the gate. It is a walk of faith and then

  377. when you get into, you know, things you're assigned to do and

  378. you're believing God on that assignment.

  379. Well, there's faith thing journeys you do along the way

  380. and that you get to look back and say, wow, God was faithful.

  381. Look how faithful he is. So you got to consider it all

  382. joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,

  383. knowing that the testing of your faith, it's only a test produces

  384. endurance. And here's the thing, you cannot

  385. be tested for faith that you do not have, OK?

  386. It's impossible. So when they were testing me and

  387. I didn't even know I was in, you cannot be tested in faith unless

  388. you have faith because faith comes by hearing and hearing

  389. from the word of God. And if you're in faith, that

  390. means you're a doer of that faith.

  391. You're acting on it. So if you actually have faith,

  392. then you're you're you're, you're participating and being a

  393. doer of what you have heard from the King.

  394. You're active in that. Then the test comes.

  395. The test isn't coming prior to your because again, your faith

  396. is being tested. You're not being your faith is

  397. being tested, which means what you have firmly said in the name

  398. of Jesus. I have that God, he's, he's

  399. doing that what he said concerning me.

  400. You're in faith. Then here it comes.

  401. You're not getting it ain't going to happen.

  402. Ain't going to be that way. All you still feel worse.

  403. Oh, you're going to feel worse now.

  404. Oh, you think you're going to try?

  405. That's what's it doing. It's testing.

  406. So the minute you get the test, what you should do is say, oh,

  407. thank you devil, for letting me know I'm in faith.

  408. It's another indicator I'm actually being firmly persuaded

  409. and I'm standing on what the king said, and you don't want me

  410. to have what I know I can have and already do have because of

  411. what he has done. Hallelujah.

  412. So he said, let endurance have its perfect result so that you

  413. may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing.

  414. Don't you want to be that? Now, what that just means is, is

  415. that every time you stay with faith and you do not fail the

  416. test, then you're going to lack nothing.

  417. You're going to have exactly what was spoken to you.

  418. Glory to God. It will come to pass just as it

  419. has been said. All right, but verse 5 but if

  420. any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all

  421. generously and without reproach and it will be given to him.

  422. Why would the attack comes and you start getting these other

  423. thoughts to try to get you to abandon your faith.

  424. This in those moments you're like, OK, Lord, how do I

  425. continue to stand? Because what's the Bible say

  426. when you've done all the stand doesn't say when you've done all

  427. the stand sit down when you've done all the stand then just

  428. abandoned retreat when you've done all the Stan tell God he's

  429. a liar. No, when you've done all the

  430. Stan What Stan. So in those moments like what

  431. else should I do Lord? How well should I respond?

  432. What else do I do Lord? And you're seeking wisdom to to

  433. receive all that he needs to give you so that you go through

  434. that faith battle, that faith fight victorious.

  435. Because again, you're not, you're not fighting for victory.

  436. You're fighting from victory because what you're doing is

  437. you're believing for something that in God's eyes is past

  438. tense. It's past tense period.

  439. It's it's no different again, it's no different than a letter

  440. I received from Rhonda to give to my mom.

  441. OK. And so she would got her address

  442. was going to mail. And I said, honestly, Rhonda, my

  443. mom's not walking up the hill to get her mail.

  444. I will get it when I get there. So save yourself a stamp and

  445. I'll just deliver it to her. OK.

  446. But using mail, you understand, if Rhonda did call my mom and

  447. said, hey Peggy, I am sending you a letter.

  448. I put it in the mail today. And you know what?

  449. She and she has always done what she said she would do.

  450. So my mom then would have confidence.

  451. Well, Rhonda has placed a letter in the mail and it's coming.

  452. Now she could figure based upon where she lives, well, it may

  453. take a couple of days. So the first day or the next day

  454. she goes out, opens the mailbox and it's not in there.

  455. She's not disappointed because naturally through processing it

  456. may take a couple of days, right.

  457. So the next day she, she would be in what we call hope or

  458. confident expectation. Oh, which means I have a

  459. confident expectation today that letter can be here.

  460. Glory to God. So she goes with expectation to

  461. open it up to see that letter. Well, if it's not there, she's

  462. like, well, it will come tomorrow.

  463. Because at this point, you know, it's, there's no way it won't

  464. come tomorrow. Well, if she goes the third day

  465. and don't see it, she's like, there's no way it won't be here.

  466. Why she keeps having expectation.

  467. She won't go and say I guess she didn't send it.

  468. In fact she'll be so confident she could call and say when did

  469. you do it? I'll call the post office.

  470. It must be somewhere because you know, sometimes mail can get

  471. lost. My wife and I watched the whole

  472. series called Sign Seal Deliver. Have y'all seen that?

  473. Anybody hallmarkers in here? I got some hallmarkers right

  474. there. Anyway, you know, I do have to

  475. do chick flicks with my wife guys, you understand?

  476. And so the sign still delivers about the the post office that

  477. they deliver mail that gets lost in mail, even if it's 30 years,

  478. they figure out who to get it to, you know, kind of the

  479. mystery with mail. OK, it's cute, clean obviously.

  480. And you know, we watched a whole bunch of series, you know, let's

  481. watch that again. OK, we're going to see where

  482. this mail's going, right? You know how they going to

  483. figure this one out, OK, Because the guys real smart.

  484. Anyway, my mom may go down to post office.

  485. My point is though, most of the time right within that second

  486. day, 'cause she's expecting it, she goes to the mail and she

  487. gets it and then she's like, oh, I received your mail.

  488. I was so nice. The letter was so nice, the

  489. picture was so nice. Da da, da da da.

  490. Right? OK, same thing.

  491. When God speaks, we should have this expectation period.

  492. If I have it cause for God, it's in the mail, it's past it's

  493. done, it's done and the thing about us staying in faith is it

  494. gets to us if we move into the next thing.

  495. Verse 6 though, but if we add if we if we must ask in faith

  496. without any what doubting for the one who it's like the surf

  497. of the sea and man, if anybody should know about the surf of

  498. the sea, it's us. We're in Saint Augustine, the

  499. surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind for that man

  500. or woman for that matter, ought not to what expect that he will

  501. anything from now. Is it the Lord who doesn't want

  502. you to have it or is it your doubt keeping it from coming to

  503. pass? You know, well, the Lord just

  504. didn't want. I guess the Lord changed.

  505. I guess the Lord had a bigger plan.

  506. I guess his way. And the Lord, the whole wow, may

  507. be saying, man, you doubted. You doubted.

  508. Now I will caution you and I'm not going to go down this road

  509. very long because I don't want to go this far.

  510. However, there have been times with people that they are

  511. believing God and if I said Are you sure you're in faith?

  512. They're like, I believe God, I am not doubting and they're not

  513. seeing a result. Then I follow up and say there's

  514. something that you don't know that God knows and you need to

  515. ask him what does he know? Period.

  516. So we won't receive from God. Two reasons.

  517. Doubt, well it could be more well that was connected doubt

  518. which means we are no longer believing we're we're letting go

  519. of a confident expectation and a firm persuasion that is going to

  520. come to pass. The second has a 2 fold

  521. ignorance, which then because of ignorance it puts you in

  522. unbelief. So you're not actually believing

  523. for something because you're unaware.

  524. So if I know God's word concerning a matter and I'm

  525. standing, but I'm not seeing the results when at a particular

  526. time frame that I'm convinced it would come to pass, then I go

  527. back and say, Lord, what do I not know?

  528. This is one of the most powerful testimonies that Kenneth E Hagin

  529. had concerning when he was on a bed of sickness at 16 years old

  530. of incurable heart disease that he himself when he came across

  531. Mark 1123 and 24. And it talked about him having

  532. faith and that you, you believe you receive once you prayed, He

  533. said, I believe I've received or he's saying to him to the Lord.

  534. He said, Lord, if you told me that I didn't believe, I would

  535. have to call you a liar. And the Lord says, son, you do

  536. know based upon what you know. Do you understand?

  537. Many of us have faith-based upon what we know is what we don't

  538. know that can hinder us from receiving something totally

  539. coming in. And again, the enemy's sly, you

  540. know, sometimes he doesn't mind you knowing a little bit so that

  541. you get confident with what little bit that is truth, but

  542. not enough to get a result and then to convince you that God

  543. doesn't do what he says. And that's a lot.

  544. If anything, I always conclude if I'm not seeing it, number

  545. one, was I doubting? And if I was, I repent.

  546. If I'm not more, what do I not know?

  547. And I seek you, so you'll let me know.

  548. That's why we ask for wisdom. What do I not know to get the

  549. results? Because with you, you get it

  550. done, period. And I will never take the

  551. testimony of a human over God. So if someone said, well, my

  552. grandma, she believed and she really believed, but this still

  553. happened in this, I would have to conclude there's something

  554. that grandma didn't know that you didn't know.

  555. She didn't tell you because God's not a liar.

  556. And I'm way more comfortable calling my Mama a liar than God.

  557. And I'm not disrespecting my Mama, but my mama's not God.

  558. She may have given birth to me, but she did not save me.

  559. She did not die on a cross for me.

  560. Are you hearing me? God made her so I could be made.

  561. But before I was even in my mom's womb, God knew me.

  562. Come on now so again, I love my mom at the end of the day, God

  563. has never lied. All right, so we go on so but if

  564. but if you must ask in faith without the doubting right

  565. you're tossed like the surf of the sea.

  566. Verse 7 for that man ought to expect that he would receive

  567. nothing from the Lord. Verse 8 being double minded man

  568. unstable in all his way. So if you go from I believe God,

  569. I got it to man, I don't know that is you riding the surf and

  570. as much as you may like to surf, that does not get you the

  571. results of faith. You have to stay the minute you

  572. disconnect, you put what you're what you can receive at jeopardy

  573. in jeopardy. You need to stay in firm

  574. persuasion double minded people excited in service but

  575. complaining on in the trial. God's not bringing it to pass

  576. and it's not because God won't. It's because you're hindering it

  577. through being a double minded person.

  578. This is why mine renewal is very important.

  579. All right, let me show you some other translations of these

  580. latter verses here in James chapter one.

  581. Look at the amplified classic verses 7 and eight.

  582. He says it this way. For truly, let not such a person

  583. imagine that he will receive anything he asked for from the

  584. Lord. For being as he is, a man of two

  585. minds, hesitating, dubious, irresolute, he is unstable and

  586. unreliable and uncertain about everything he thinks, feels and

  587. decides. So it's very important that if

  588. you're a person of faith, cause again, your faith will be tested

  589. and the reason why it's there to test you is to create doubt.

  590. This is what happened in the garden.

  591. Has God not said and she said, no, he did not say He said this.

  592. The minute the devil knew what he said, he knew God will do

  593. what he says. So what's he do?

  594. You're not going to die. That's a lie.

  595. But then he gives him the next thing, because God knows that

  596. the minute you eat the fruit, you'll be like him, knowing good

  597. and evil. Now they're already like God in

  598. nature because they've been in His likeness.

  599. They were made in His likeness, but God never wanted them help

  600. them to know evil at all. He didn't want them experience

  601. it. He didn't want them to live in

  602. it. He didn't want any outcome from

  603. that at all. He wanted them just to stay with

  604. Him, which is life, and it will pull out.

  605. Who they are and what they've been created doing is the best

  606. life ever. So what did He do?

  607. He created in Eve this reasonable doubt.

  608. Well, maybe this Creator God who gave us all this stuff isn't who

  609. we think He is. And that's the devil's tactic

  610. all the time. If he can't convince you God's

  611. words off, he'll get somebody to get you offended.

  612. So you get away from God's Word. He'll bring a pass to trial

  613. something someone from the world from the church because the

  614. church is growing people in the church are growing people are

  615. renewing their mind. I mean not everybody's on the

  616. same plane in their their mind renewal when I say spiritual

  617. walk. They're all the righteousness of

  618. God in Christ in their spirit, but their minds and how to allow

  619. that character to go the the lady that we've we talked to

  620. today to help clean my mom's house and come in, you know, and

  621. help continue to be there since she's still, you know by

  622. herself. She was talking to us about a

  623. situation that occurred. She said, you know, I'm a

  624. believer. So I had to keep, I had to stay

  625. in character, right? She knew I can't respond like

  626. the world in this situation. There's a different character

  627. about me because I'm a believer. Well, you know, that takes

  628. faith. You have to put your flesh down

  629. and allow the fruits of the Spirit to come out.

  630. That takes faith. And so she recognized, but it's

  631. a test to her. Will you only be who you've

  632. been, you know, created to be in Christ, and nothing stops that

  633. but you. No one can stop you but you, all

  634. right? No one can stop your faith but

  635. you. The New Living Translation 6 to

  636. 8 says it this way. But when you ask Him, be sure

  637. that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with

  638. divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is

  639. blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to

  640. receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between

  641. God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

  642. You understand? It's really easy to be a

  643. believer when your full allegiance and loyalty is to the

  644. throne of God, to the Creator of heaven and earth, to the Creator

  645. of the one who's given life and life more abundantly, Who is

  646. life, who is light, who is truth, Who is the way you

  647. understand? When I acknowledge that Jesus is

  648. Lord, he, he is supreme in authority.

  649. And so he has that in my life to dictate and call the shots in my

  650. life because I know his words always come to pass and I'm not

  651. wavering from that. I'm not wavering.

  652. So you don't want to be this person that has a a loyalty

  653. that's divided where you're trying to convince God to do it

  654. that's comfortable to your flesh to your you know where you're

  655. renewed in your mind or not renewed how your old thinking to

  656. be able to keep old habits that God's trying to call you up out

  657. of things so that you're different from the world.

  658. Another translation says it this way from six through 8.

  659. It says that when you ask remember to trust in God.

  660. Don't have any doubts. Someone who douses like the

  661. crashing waves of the sea tossed about and driven by the wind.

  662. Nobody like that should think they'll get anything from the

  663. Lord their their minds think every which way and they're

  664. unstable in everything they do. The message says that this way

  665. in verse 8, keeping all your options open.

  666. You know how many believers have options?

  667. Well, I believe God, but if this doesn't work, I'll well, that's

  668. a that's already an issue. I mean, you're not actually

  669. firmly persuaded. You know, I had a minister when

  670. we were, you know, standing and believing to purchase the

  671. property, how much it was, how little we had, all that I have

  672. said and declared and decreed in front of so many people.

  673. And he looked at me and he says, man, I like you.

  674. I like you. He says, you're out there.

  675. He said if this thing doesn't happen, you're going to drown

  676. and die. You're so far out there right

  677. now that there's only two options.

  678. It comes to pass or you're dead. Amen.

  679. Hallelujah. Well, I don't mind being out

  680. there. Why?

  681. Because what I'm standing on actually is only life.

  682. It's impossible for me to die, just like it was impossible for

  683. Jesus to die even though he died, because he said on the

  684. third day, I'll come up. Hallelujah.

  685. So that's it. I'm going to let go, but Dad's

  686. going to get me. The Holy Ghost is going to pull

  687. me up out of here and I'm going to deliver people with me.

  688. And then I'm going to set all kind of people free.

  689. And the enemy is going to be so sad he ever messed with me while

  690. I was on the planet. Hallelujah.

  691. So we must not keep options open.

  692. Thank you Jesus. Another translation 7-8 says it

  693. this way. If you are like that, unstable,

  694. unable to make up your mind and undecided, and all you do, you

  695. must not think that you'll receive anything from the Lord.

  696. Hallelujah. It's only a test, which means

  697. you were firmly persuaded that it was going to be as God said,

  698. going into this thing. Do not allow anything to take

  699. you off that thought. Another translation says it this

  700. way. If you are like that, it is like

  701. you are thinking two ways at the same time and you will not and

  702. you will not be sure about anything.

  703. If you are like that, you can't think that God will help you at

  704. all. And the last translation I'll

  705. use, contemporary English version of seven and eight, says

  706. if you are that kind of person, you can't make up your mind and

  707. you surely can't you and you surely can't be trusted.

  708. So don't expect the Lord to give you anything at all.

  709. It is not what God says he can do alone, but it's what you

  710. believe He says he can do without doubting.

  711. It's not what God says he can do alone, but it's what you believe

  712. He says he can do without doubting.

  713. Because all of us hear what God can say do.

  714. Many of us say God can do that. Yet when we say I believe God

  715. will do that for me, and then something, a test comes or an

  716. attack to try to to get us to abandon that firm persuasion, we

  717. have to say no. I heard him.

  718. I know he'll do it and I have no doubt about it.

  719. I have no doubt about it. And don't you know, in our

  720. society today, especially with all the algorithms and the

  721. social medias platforms to get you to give you information

  722. that's contrary to what you believe, but also give you

  723. information that's that size with what you're already

  724. believing. Because the enemy is going to

  725. accommodate his, his truth, which is not truth.

  726. Anything the devil says is a he's a liar.

  727. Now, I'm not saying he cannot communicate truth, but he will

  728. turn it. He can quote a scripture, but

  729. he'll take it out of context. All right, So you need to

  730. understand this. To take doubt is to be in

  731. rebellion to the king and his Kingdom.

  732. The minute there's options, you're really saying to the one

  733. that is sovereign, supreme and authority, my way is better.

  734. Really, you should listen to me. The minute we are like, I don't

  735. think that can happen. You're saying the creator of

  736. heaven and earth cannot, will not and cannot do what he says,

  737. but we're not going to do that. Say Amen, we won't do that.

  738. You just have to recognize, you say, well, how do I recognize?

  739. You're going to recognize why? Because you are a child of God

  740. and a child of God who is in the Word, hears the shepherd's voice

  741. and another, they will not follow Hallelujah, Amen.

  742. We're not following another voice said Corinthians 10/5 says

  743. it this way. We are destroying speculations

  744. and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God,

  745. and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of

  746. Christ. How many thoughts do we take

  747. captive Now? That's the key.

  748. That's the key. It's every thought.

  749. There's not a thought that you should give permission to freely

  750. wander without checking it. The security system in your

  751. brain should go to a whole nother level right now.

  752. What? What did you just think?

  753. Does that line up with the word? Because if it's not, this is

  754. This is an immediate eviction. We take every, every thought

  755. that's coming, we are to raise it up against the knowledge of

  756. God. Now here's the problem.

  757. If you do not have the knowledge of God in your mind, how can you

  758. raise it up to it? The only way you're going to

  759. raise up a thought towards God is to actually have God's

  760. thoughts. And the only way to have God's

  761. thoughts is to be in the word. This is why I'm always like, you

  762. know, in awe of Christians. They label themselves this as

  763. Christ like, yet Christ knew the word, quoted the word, studied

  764. the word and anyone who was to be a child of his, Paul told

  765. Tim. You need to study to show

  766. yourself approved. And study is not like the

  767. education system of the world where you study the information

  768. only to pass the test and you're not really concerned about the A

  769. as much as just getting through the class.

  770. And it's studying through memorization, not through actual

  771. assimilation, because many of you know that you do not know

  772. the subjects you passed in high school or college anymore.

  773. I'll give you 1. I took two years of a foreign

  774. language, two years. It was required in order for you

  775. to go to college. So I took two years.

  776. Now, Spanish was a Gimme. And, you know, if I had been

  777. listening to the Lord and knew about my destiny in life, I

  778. would have done something like take Spanish.

  779. But I was in rebellion as a teenager anyway.

  780. And so it's it, it bled over into the foreign language that,

  781. well, everybody else is taking Spanish.

  782. I'm not. I'm going to take Latin.

  783. They offered Latin, which is a dead language.

  784. OK, Now it's a route. There are, you know, benefits if

  785. it would have been a part of me. I know porquito, which is

  786. Spanish for little about Latin today, but I knew enough to pass

  787. the tests to get through. There's a few things, but at the

  788. end of the day, I really do not know that subject at all.

  789. It is become dead to me because I study through memorization to

  790. pass a test that I would forget. And in that like a believer, oh,

  791. I'm in trouble. Let me find some.

  792. Oh Lord, Lord, the Lord's like man, I'm so gracious.

  793. I love you. I'm merciful.

  794. Listen, look, I want to show you my word works, right?

  795. And now that you're looking at that and you're in this little

  796. situation here, stand right here.

  797. Stay right here. Now see, I did it.

  798. You see, I did all the Lord came through and then we don't get in

  799. the word anymore. Don't think about it.

  800. We've forgotten. We living like the rest.

  801. We're doing the stuff that causes chaos to come to our

  802. lives and they're like, oh God. And we run back to him and he's

  803. very merciful, extremely compassionate.

  804. We get in there and he's like, OK, here again.

  805. Now stand on this and I'm going to show you always, and you can

  806. live this life all the time. You can always overcome you.

  807. You don't even have to get back into those situations like that

  808. ever again. But it just leaves our mind

  809. because we don't actually read the for people who confess that

  810. they love Jesus and he's Lord of their lives, they do not read

  811. his book. And The thing is, is that the

  812. word is Jesus in the beginning was the just John 11 in the

  813. beginning was the and the word was with God and the word the

  814. 14th verse and the word became and we beheld his glory.

  815. What's his name? Jesus.

  816. So if you want to be close to Jesus, read the Bible, just read

  817. the Bible and you you should try it with some of your friends

  818. that are believers say, Hey, have you read the Bible ever all

  819. the way through and see how many now this don't work with us, you

  820. know, because we we've done it a lot, right?

  821. You know, that's why I challenge you.

  822. I'm like, if you're if you're representing Jesus, how can you

  823. represent him and not know what he has said, not understand how

  824. he's handled situations, overcame things.

  825. I mean, he's left us a whole history book and documentations

  826. of how our lives are to be governed in his Kingdom.

  827. This is amazing and it works all the time, but unless you're in

  828. it. So again, you cannot raise a

  829. thought up to the knowledge of God if it's not in there.

  830. But once it's in there, then you can raise it up and say, wait a

  831. minute now. And if it fails the test to be

  832. of God, that thought, it says, take it.

  833. What? How many do you take captive?

  834. Every one of them. You don't let anyone.

  835. Well, you know, OK, maybe I'll keep that one because I'm a

  836. single guy and she looks pretty good, so maybe I'll keep that

  837. one there. And that's why they fall into

  838. lust and fall into fornication, because they kept that thought

  839. that they should have said Nope. Jesus name, I cast that down.

  840. This is a woman of God. One day I would believe she's a

  841. woman of God. She's going to be somebody

  842. else's spouse. I am not going to think of her

  843. that way. I'm not going to pursue her that

  844. way. I'm not going to go after her

  845. that way. No, I'm going to keep myself

  846. moral in my thinking towards her because Jesus has already told

  847. me if I lust after someone in my heart I've already committed to

  848. sin even though physically hadn't even gotten involved yet.

  849. Say Amen anyway. That's how you died.

  850. Take them all captive, every one of them.

  851. And when we do that, man, it's good.

  852. Another translation said it this way.

  853. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and

  854. break and breakthrough every arrogant attitude that is raised

  855. up in defiance of the true knowledge of God.

  856. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought, and insist

  857. that it bow in obedience to the anointed 1.

  858. Isn't that good? Bow to the obedience because

  859. everything's bowing to Him anyway.

  860. Every knee will and every tongue will glory to God.

  861. Last verse is this first John chapter 5 verse 14 and 15.

    1 John 5:14

  862. This right here will get you in a lot of trouble with the

  863. religious. OK, those bound in tradition.

  864. Now I say that because I could have started the service tonight

  865. out with Matthew 15 three where Jesus said why do you forsake

  866. the commandments of God for the sake of your tradition?

  867. Because there are a lot of times we can get in these situations

  868. that we have a tradition of words of how they've been

  869. explained to us or we've seen them modeled in front of us.

  870. And it's formed a thought process of that's what a

  871. believer is. Faith is whatever the case may

  872. be, when it may just really be a tradition and not really what

  873. God says. OK.

  874. And so, so then the religious that they hold to a tradition,

  875. they will attack Jesus because Jesus is talking to religious

  876. people. He said, why are you holding to

  877. a tradition and you're breaking the command of God.

  878. And in essence, the religious, he always called them

  879. hypocrites. This verse is problematic for

  880. the religious, for those who say they're following but they're

  881. not. OK.

  882. They talk a talk, but they don't live it.

  883. They don't walk it. All right.

  884. This verse becomes problematic because when you know that the

  885. King always does what he says, and I will believe him, period.

  886. And anything that comes to my mind and tries to attack and get

  887. me off the course of what I am firmly persuaded that the King

  888. has said will come to pass. And I will not doubt.

  889. And I'll cast down every thought that tries to get in here and

  890. tell me it won't happen. I'll cast it down no matter

  891. what. When we went to purchase them

  892. all, I cast down thoughts. They'll sell it out.

  893. You don't have the money. You're not going to get it.

  894. You'll be the laughingstock of the whole community.

  895. You're going to have to resign as pastor and go pastor

  896. somewhere else when you fail to get this property.

  897. I mean, I could tell they they have somebody.

  898. Did you see who showed up with the owners?

  899. They're going to sell it to them instead.

  900. I mean cast it down. And how did I cast down?

  901. Thank you, Lord for 2121 US One South.

  902. You said that we it's ours. It's our and I just confess what

  903. he said instead of rehearsing what I'm hearing from an outside

  904. source. Same thing when sickness comes

  905. on my body, you know, at different times.

  906. I'm like, thank you Lord that I'm the healed of the Lord and

  907. I'm quoting scriptures and yet my body's saying, man, Are you

  908. sure? Cuz man, you feel a little

  909. worse. And I've learned how to actually

  910. recognize healing that the enemy has tried to and convince you

  911. you were sick. You want me to give you 1 now?

  912. I will work against this at all costs.

  913. Just to let you know, I prefer if if something's coming out of

  914. me, I don't want it in my face. I am not a person who likes to

  915. throw up. I can believe it can leave

  916. another way. You know, because I'm a violent

  917. person. When it comes to that, I scream.

  918. You know my wife, she can, you know, throw up and wipe her

  919. mouth and you don't even know nothing happened.

  920. But she's like what is happening?

  921. Are you dying in there? Cuz you're like, how many?

  922. You're like me. You screamed.

  923. Yeah, come on, man. Yes, I got some ladies got got

  924. some screamers too. This is good.

  925. I don't know why that is. It's just like better to get it

  926. out. Same thing like with a roller

  927. coaster, you know, you can hold it in, but it's a lot better if

  928. you scream when you're going down 'cause you don't get as

  929. like jacked up in your mind when you're you just let it out,

  930. scream, right? So I, I'm a screamer.

  931. My point is, is that you understand if something is

  932. coming out, that's actually healing, not sickness, because

  933. your body was designed to get what's in you, hurting you out

  934. of you. So when so you say, well, you

  935. know, I threw up. I was sick.

  936. Well, throwing up was my healing.

  937. Getting it out was my healing. Sickness is when it's in

  938. healings, when it's out. And sometimes it goes out just

  939. by supernatural. It's like I feel and then boom,

  940. I'm gone. This family gave a testimony to

  941. our staff Monday. She said hey, I'm staying home.

  942. I have symptoms. I said well I believe they'll

  943. leave quickly in Jesus name. And then because she said I

  944. won't be at the meeting today, then she's at the meeting.

  945. She said I'm coming to the meeting.

  946. All the symptoms are gone. I'm like, praise God.

  947. I mean, it was an hour. It wasn't even an hour.

  948. She was like headaches gone. It's all gone.

  949. Well, she was believing, confessing.

  950. She knew it was hers. It manifested.

  951. And then in its manifestation, she's like, well, I'm not going

  952. to stay home and rest and now act like I still have something.

  953. I know it's gone and it just left.

  954. Sometimes leaving is a little more natural with your belief,

  955. but that's still healing nonetheless, is what I'm saying.

  956. OK, so this is the confidence which we have before Him, that

  957. if we ask anything according to His will or His word, He hears

  958. us. Notice God always hears His own

  959. word. Suppose His word will not return

  960. unto Him void, but it shall accomplish that which it was

  961. sent to do. So this is how faith works.

  962. You are in a situation, or or maybe you're just reading, and

  963. God begins to reveal to you how you can believe Him in these

  964. particular scenarios. And all of a sudden you hear

  965. from God now that you've heard. And then a test comes against

  966. this. I know that I can have this or I

  967. can stand in this situation or I can act like this.

  968. If this occurs, then all of a sudden it occurs.

  969. Then you say that back to him now Lord, you said, and he's

  970. like I told you that that's my word coming back to me and it

  971. will not come to back to me void.

  972. It's going to accomplish that which I sent it to do.

  973. So if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, then that's

  974. according to his will. We know that we have the request

  975. which we have asked from Him. Because when you're really in

  976. faith, you have confidence. That's why the Bible says to

  977. boldly come before the throne of grace, not crying, not

  978. sheepedly, not beggarly, but to boldly you come before because

  979. you're a child of God and you're in a situation you need the

  980. grace of God to help you in your time of need, of which you're

  981. seeking God for that word. And then he gives you that word

  982. and then you tell him his word back and that gives you

  983. confidence. And when you're confident, no,

  984. it's going to be this way, then the religion will say, well,

  985. aren't you being arrogant? You need to humble yourself,

  986. brother. Confidence is not arrogance.

  987. Confidence is not in me, it's in His word.

  988. And then you're not, you're not going to shame me into pride and

  989. act like I'm not humble. Cause true humility is to stand

  990. on the word. And you'll stand on that word no

  991. matter what. You'll die standing on that word

  992. in obedience. Cause true humility is I didn't

  993. say this, He said it and I'm standing on what he said.

  994. I'm submitted to that word that brings confidence and man when

  995. you're like, no, the Lord said this.

  996. Well, brother, all they're doing is trying to do what?

  997. Bring doubt to what you know. Now again, if you're saying

  998. something that God said and I can show you in Scripture, it's

  999. not well then you need abandoned your perceived God thought.

1000. However, and I'll, if I don't have to hear it, if Brian came

1001. to me and said, I believe the Lord said that, you know, I'm to

1002. leave this job and go to this other one, He's going to give me

1003. a promotion there. Well, you know, I could go, man,

1004. I hope I didn't hear. But you know what I would say,

1005. brother, I'm telling you right now, if the Lord said it, stand.

1006. Don't ever come off at the end of the day.

1007. Just stay connected to hearing. Stay with it because at the end

1008. of the day, if something doesn't come to pass, hopefully he'll

1009. say, you know what? I missed that.

1010. You know what? I would much rather you miss

1011. something wanting to actually be hearing God then to never step

1012. out because if your intent is to hear, even if you missed it, God

1013. will be like you're trying. I got you got a little zeal

1014. there will work and you know what got to work that out no

1015. problem. But the majority of time most of

1016. you are kind of here are hearing things and it's that boldness

1017. and confidence to go ahead and step and do so.

1018. You know, at the end of the day, when I hear and I know what it

1019. means to hear and I know what it means to not have heard.

1020. And I don't take hearing from you, even if you're right, I

1021. need to know from him. I've had a lot of people tell

1022. me, have a preschool, never started a preschool till I heard

1023. him. I had people say, well, let's

1024. buy them all. That's great, sounds good, would

1025. love to do that. But I need to hear him.

1026. And when I hurt him, well then it didn't matter.

1027. And this gives you confidence. And when you have confidence,

1028. you'll walk different in the world.

1029. And when you have confidence, then guess what?

1030. It's only a test. In fact, the minute the test

1031. comes, I know what I have heard is correct and we could say it

1032. this way, but you know, I'm not. I don't want you to think and

1033. grand Dioso thought processes cause again, mustard seed faith

1034. does some really amazing things. You understand.

1035. But the Bible does talk about, you know, no faith, little

1036. faith, great faith, all right. And when the Lord speaks to you,

1037. something that is so entirely impossible and it's so much

1038. bigger than you that it requires so many others to be a part of

1039. the process, Attacks going to happen.

1040. It's going to happen, but you just have to stand.

1041. You just stand anyway. You'll you will not see the

1042. things that happen in Scripture without confidence. 33 gentlemen

1043. are thrown into a furnace because they were confident that

1044. I will not bow to another God. I'm confident in who my God is.

1045. I'll die before I bow to your God.

1046. But if you're questioning his ability, he is able to save us.

1047. And did he save them? Now, many of us don't want to

1048. get to the place that we're tied all bound up and getting closer

1049. to the door, right? We love to watch it in movies.

1050. We just don't want it in life. You know, the train's coming

1051. about to run you over. You ride the last second.

1052. None of us. But you know what the life of

1053. faith is a little bit like the last second.

1054. You know, Daniel, I believe God. I'm wrongly accused.

1055. They wrote a law to trick me. Now you realize that.

1056. But you have to stand with your word, old king.

1057. So put me down in the den. I trust God.

1058. Everybody wants to sing about, you know, chains falling off,

1059. but that means you have to put some on.

1060. Now most of us use it from the analogy, you know, when we were

1061. since in and bound. I understand.

1062. But you can be right with God and get bound.

1063. Just ask Paul. Many of us talk about, you know,

1064. the doors opening and wide, but do you want to go to prison in

1065. order to get the doors to open? Most of us don't want to be in

1066. the trial to have the kind of faith victories we read about.

1067. I mean, we want to be great people of faith, but no trial,

1068. no trial, It's not going to happen to be great people of

1069. faith. You're going to have great

1070. trials, great trouble, but you can have joy in the process

1071. knowing that God's going to bring it all to pass.

1072. And you're going to look back and say, but God, and he's going

1073. to receive the glory. And everybody's going to be

1074. seeing how God functioned and how his word did not fail.

1075. And they'll know. They'll say, my gosh, you didn't

  1076. do that. That's right.

1077. But God, but God, but God, because I really do not want

1078. people to say, well, you know, you could have done that on your

1079. own. Listen, our faith has to grow

1080. beyond what the world can do. I'll close with this.

1081. Moses had an encounter. He's heard the Lord go to

1082. Pharaoh. Tell him to let my people go.

1083. Well, what if you don't believe what you got in your hand?

1084. Throw it down, right. So he shows up.

1085. The fairy said, the Lord said, let my people go.

1086. He said, I don't even know who your God is, man.

1087. I don't even know why you're asking this question.

1088. He's like do a staff down turns into a snake.

1089. Pharaoh doesn't even flinch. He looks at his witchcraft guys

1090. and they threw a stick down and it turns into a snake too.

1091. And then he's not even impressed when Moses eats theirs and it

1092. picks his snake back up and turns into a staff.

1093. Now the guys they're like, how did he make that magic like

1094. that? So the next little think of God

1095. comes, but what? They work their little magic and

1096. they reproduce the first couple of signs, but then all of a

1097. sudden signs started showing up. Now signs didn't start showing

1098. up until more trouble came. Those signs that the magicians

1099. could not reproduce did not come till more trouble showed up.

1100. Because after the first one that they could, Moses goes back to a

1101. hostile nation now that wants to kick him out because now they

1102. have to get their own straw for bricks.

1103. And they're like please leave, let us stay as slaves.

1104. But Moses, like I didn't. I came for you, but I'm not

1105. staying for you. I'm here because he told me to

  1106. come. I didn't come for you.

1107. I came because he told me to come to get you.

1108. Now, whether you want to come or not doesn't matter.

1109. I'm going to do what he said to do.

1110. And if you are part of the process, so be it.

1111. If you're not, that's on you. The opportunity is there for you

1112. to come whether you get up and drag your slavery self up out of

1113. here. When we go, that's on you.

1114. But we going to deliver people nonetheless.

1115. And it became very challenging. But then all of a sudden that

1116. faith and those signs started showing up to where the

1117. magicians were like this is the hand of God, man, you need to

1118. let these people go. We can't do this.

1119. I don't even know how this happens that you can't even

1120. fabricate this stuff. There's it is humanly impossible

1121. to do that kind of trick. Are you hearing me?

1122. And God wants us in these last days to be doing things that are

1123. humanly impossible. And with man things are

1124. impossible, but with God all things are possible.
