-
This morning, you know I believe that I have a word from the Lord
-
for you, for the body. Amen.
-
You know, I don't ever want to get up and have nothing to say
-
because you know what? He has everything to say.
-
He has everything to say. And so we lean in to him to be
-
led by His spirit to be able to bring forth the utterance that's
-
needed at the time for His body, for his people.
-
And and for those that may not be his people, they need to hear
-
that he is the savior of the world.
-
And so this morning, what I might share, you know, may, may
-
be something that some of you and most of you in here have
-
already heard, but do you know, there's people that haven't
-
heard what you've heard that need what you have.
-
And this is the goal is to remind us of that, to remind us
-
of this precious gift that we've all been given and that we need
-
others to be able to receive it. Amen.
-
Because we are living in an eternal Kingdom, and so many
-
times we can get so used to focusing on the scene that we're
-
not looking to the unseen and reminding ourselves that there
-
is an eternal Kingdom that we are to be a part of.
-
And he's, you know, asking us to be a part of it.
-
And listen, it is the most precious thing that we could
-
ever have been able to encounter, which was the savior
-
of the world. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. And this song was so perfect for
-
where we're going today. And This is why I wanted us to
-
stop at this song is because sometimes the utterance is just
-
right there. So let's just get on up and get
-
started. Amen.
-
But you know, I'm going to come from a scripture that we have
-
all heard, those that are a part of this body.
-
We've all heard the Scripture. But as I was beginning to study
-
the Scripture, the Lord gave me a little different lens of it.
-
And so this is what we're going to talk about today.
-
And our key text is going to be found in John chapter 10.
John 10 chapter mention
-
John chapter 10 and verse 10 says this, the thief what comes
John 10 chapter mention
-
to steal, to kill and destroy. But I have come that you may
-
have life, that I that you may have life and life, not just
-
life, but life more abundantly. I've come that you might have
-
life, not just life, but life more abundantly.
-
And we've all heard this scripture, but I want to focus
-
on this life because there's so many people in the world that
-
are still groping around and making comments like, well, what
-
is life? What is life, right?
-
What is life, you know? And then you even have the
-
statement, you know, well, you only live what, one life, Yolo.
-
You only live one life. What is life?
-
Is life just, you know, existing here on this earth, you know,
-
barely making it through, going through all the challenges,
-
going through all the circumstances, going through
-
whatever life throws at you. Is life just you getting married
-
and having children and having a family and and having your 401K,
-
having your retirement and having all the things the world
-
says that you should have? Right?
-
But what does it for? What does it gain right?
-
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit
-
his soul? So what is life?
-
And and as I was reading the scripture, he gave me just that
-
different bit. The thing about it is, is we
-
wouldn't we shouldn't be asking what is life?
-
We should be asking who is life? Who is life?
-
And this is the question, who is life?
-
Who is life? This is the question because I
-
don't care about everything else in this life.
-
You can have it all and still be in that place of asking what is
-
life? Because what seems to be life
-
only ends up being death, only ends up being death without him.
-
So what is life? No, who is life?
-
And he says that he came, that we might have life and that we
-
might have it more abundantly, More abundantly.
-
And what does that abundance mean?
-
Alive, more abundant. That word abundant means.
-
Listen to this an exceedingly overflowing superior say
-
superior a more excellent come on, a more excellent life.
-
That is what abundant means. So he didn't want us to just
-
barely make it through life. Come on.
-
He wanted to give us a superior life, a more excellent,
-
excellent life. Come on, a, a more superior way
-
of living, a more superior way. And this is where, you know, you
-
hear people when you come across their paths and you're just
-
living your life. You're living your best life
-
now, right? And you hear people say, oh, you
-
just think you're better than me.
-
Why do they think that? Why is that comment made?
-
Is it made because they recognize you do have a superior
-
life. Not that you've ever tried to
-
act superior, but they recognize there is something more
-
excellent about your life and there is something more superior
-
about your life. There's they should recognize
-
that and you shouldn't take that as a oh, you like, you know, a
-
bad thing. You should say, no, I don't
-
think I'm more superior than you, but I do think I am to live
-
more superior than you, right? Because he's given me a more
-
superior life and people ought to recognize that.
-
And that's what that word abundantly.
-
So he, he wants to give us a more excellent and superior way
-
of living and that is truly going to reflect the Kingdom of
-
God. It's truly going to reflect the
-
Kingdom of God so that when they see you, they see the Kingdom.
-
Because when you walk around, you live more excellent, you
-
live more superior. You don't act a fool like
-
everybody else running around acting crazy in this world gone
-
crazy. No, they ought to recognize they
-
never see you acting crazy because you have a more
-
superior, excellent way of living.
-
Come on, this world does not have to make you crazy.
-
Amen. When you know what life truly is
-
about, South, life is not just breathing, It's not just
-
existing. Come on, no life.
-
Life that God intended for each and everyone of us to live.
-
Life is divine, you know, I think we've forgotten that that
-
life is divine and that life is eternal.
-
It's divine. And the reason why we've
-
forgotten that because we so easily support those who want to
-
take life. And the minute you, you know,
-
take on the fact that we should kill babies in a womb, you begin
-
to realize that life really, you think life really isn't divine.
-
But yet we want to save the turtles lives.
-
We want to save the whales lives.
-
Come on, I'm just, let's think about it.
-
I'm not trying to be political. No, I'm trying to be biblical
-
because life is divine. And He gave us a life, a divine
-
life to live. And we can live that way if we
-
recognize what life truly is. Amen.
-
But when we allow the philosophies and the things of
-
this world to disintegrate or degenerate, whatever the Word is
-
our mind from realizing that life is divine and it's a gift.
-
It's a gift. Life is a gift.
-
Hallelujah. You know, because all we see is
-
in the world the way that the world never intended to be.
-
When we go back to the beginning in the book of Genesis, right?
-
tractor in the beginning, what He created the earth and
-
everything in it. And what did he just say about
-
the earth and everything that He created?
-
And then he created man and woman and he created them to
-
have dominion and to rule over the earth.
-
And, and at the end of the the Scripture, it says what he
-
looked at it and he said it is good.
-
It's good. Life was good.
-
And we know that the life that we're or the world that we're
-
living in has been perverted, has been changed from God's
-
original intent. He never wanted this life that
-
we are living for us. He never wanted it.
-
He wanted everything to be good. He wanted he actually wanted
-
mankind not to know what evil, but we know the rest of the
-
story. Adam chose to what disobey God
-
ate the fruit. Sin entered the world, but not
-
just sin. And so many believers only just
-
think about it as sin. Sin didn't just enter the world.
-
Death entered the world, death and and decay entered the world
-
as well. Sin and death entered the world.
-
So everything that God had made and he said it was good is now
-
what destroyed and now is, you know, going to show forth the
-
consequence of sin, which is death and everything else.
-
And so we know that what happened, God decided that he
-
would send his Son to be the Savior of the world, to put us
-
back into right standing with Him if we would call on His
-
name. And then what would happen?
-
Life could begin to blossom again in your life, in your
-
life, because without him we are separated.
-
Sin, death separated Adam from God.
-
Sin and death separates us from God because for because of one
-
man's transgression. The Bible says what sin entered
-
the world, Sin entered the world and the only way that we can
-
eradicate sin and death is through the blood of Jesus
-
Christ and the Savior of the world that died, come on, that
-
died on the cross and that rose in three days.
-
Come on and poured out his blood on the mercy seat for all who
-
would call on his name shall be saved.
-
Hallelujah. But when you look back into
-
where He created man out of the dust of the earth, right?
-
And He was forming him. And what does it say?
-
He did? Let's read that.
-
And that's where I want to go next.
-
chapter 2 and verse 7, and I'm going to read it out of the
-
amplified version. It says then the Lord God
-
formed, that is He created the body of man from the dust of the
-
ground and He breathed, say, breathed into his nostrils the
-
what? Breath of life He breathed into
-
him, the breath of life. This is God's life right here,
-
His breath, his existence, who he is, the life source.
-
He breathed into him the breath of life and man became a living
-
being, an individual complete body spirit.
-
We were not created and and did not evolve from animals.
-
No, he clearly states I created mankind.
-
Come on, I created man and not only did I create him, I
-
breathed life into him. His very existence depends on my
-
life. The very existence of your being
-
depends on his life. His breath he breathed in him
-
life, and this is how humanity was born, through him and his
-
life. Hallelujah and Psalms 36, nine
-
says this. For with you is the fountain of
-
life. Or one translation says the
-
wellspring of life. The wellspring of life, The
-
source of life in you is your light, and we see light.
-
So he is the wellspring, He is the starter of life.
-
Come on, he breathes into them the breath of life.
-
He is the wellspring, He is the source of life.
-
This is why you can search all the world and still be empty and
-
still looking for life. You still feel dead.
-
You're like a zombie. You're alive walking around but
-
not breathing the right breath of life.
-
Because He is the source of true life.
-
He is the source of eternal life.
-
Hallelujah, Isaiah Chapter 9 Listen, because God is the
Isaiah 9 chapter mention
-
Father and we were created. Listen, we were created for the
-
eternal. We were created as eternal
-
beings for the eternal See all. And some people think all this
-
life is, is that you live your life and then you do what?
-
Then you die. And people are like, what's the
-
big deal? Live your life the way you want
-
to live it because in the end all you do is die.
-
But no, God created us as eternal beings.
-
Adam was never supposed to what die.
-
Adam was never supposed to die. He was never supposed to
-
encounter evil or death. He chose it.
-
And do you know how many people still choose death every single
-
day, even though they've heard the name of Jesus and they've
-
even heard the way to life, and they still choose death because
-
they won't surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
-
But he says here that we were created for eternal life.
-
Isaiah 9 I want to read this and verse six and seven and many of
-
us know this Scripture in in in the light of the Kingdom of God.
-
And it says this for a child will be born to us, a son will
-
be given to us, and the government will rest on his
-
shoulders. His name will be called
-
wonderful counselor, mighty God. And this is the point, Eternal
-
Father, eternal. So many of us are not even
-
thinking eternally or even about eternity.
-
And we have to, as even believers, get our mindset back
-
on not looking at the scene, but thinking about eternal things.
-
Thinking about eternity. Knowing that there are people
-
that are still choosing death every single day and are still
-
dying. And if they died today without
-
be making the Savior of the world their Lord, they'll be an
-
eternity in a place of fire and torment, which is what we'll see
-
in a minute. So eternity is here.
-
He created eternity. We he created us to be eternal
-
beings. We are living eternity right
-
now. Right now.
-
I'm living in eternity right now.
-
And we have to remember that Hallelujah because He is our
-
eternal Father that breathed life into man Hallelujah, First
-
Timothy, first Timothy and verse 1 and 17.
-
It says this now to. The eternal, immortal,
-
invisible, the only God be honor and glory, forever and ever.
-
Amen. Eternal, the eternal King.
-
Come on, He is the eternal King, the king of his Kingdom, and He
-
wants to open up the doors, come on, of the Kingdom of God to
-
people's lives so that they can come, be a part of it and
-
participate in it, so that they don't have to be separated
-
eternally from Him, eternally from him.
-
See, eternal life begins now and lasts forever.
-
It begins now and it lasts forever.
-
And without that word, eternal means this without beginning and
-
end, that which has always been and will always be since the
-
world began without beginning. Eternal life from an eternal
-
Father who is a king of an eternal Kingdom.
-
Eternal, because the decisions that we make today will be
-
decisions that will eternally affect our lives.
-
Just a few other scriptures concerning Him and who He was as
-
our Father and creator. Acts 1724 through 25.
-
And in the context of the Scripture, he's actually, this
-
is Paul, and he was walking along the streets and seeing all
-
the idols and gods that people had built by their hands.
-
And Paul begins to speak forth and remind humanity, come on,
-
let's see what he reminds them here.
-
It says the God who made the world and all the things in it,
-
since he is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples
-
made with hands, nor is he served by human hands, as though
-
he needed anything, since he himself gives to all people life
-
and breath and all things. He was reminding them, listen,
-
your God is nothing. This idol, this statue, it's
-
nothing. It was man made.
-
But the God that we serve, come on.
-
He's the creator of heaven and earth and all of these things
-
and he is the one that brought life into mankind.
-
And then you drop on down to verse 28 of that same scripture
-
of chapter in 17. It says for him for in him
-
pastor quoted this last week and something just spoke up to me in
-
my spirit and it were reminded me that this was coming off of
-
this context and he said for in him we move, we live, we live,
-
see life is to be lived through him.
-
In him we live and move and have our being.
-
That's what Paul was saying when he was talking about these dead
-
idols and all these things that they had created with their
-
hands. He's like, but I serve a God who
-
breathed life into something. Come on, who would I live and
-
move and that's how I have my being.
-
Hallelujah, glory to God. So we need to recognize that the
-
Creator of heaven and earth, Father God, the God eternal of
-
His Kingdom, is the one that brings life and life only.
-
He brings life into everything, everything that exists.
-
We know the animals, the plants, come on, not just mankind, but
-
the animals, the plants, everything we see.
-
He created and brought life to it.
-
Hallelujah. But we know that He then sent
-
Jesus the Savior of the world and made a way for us to be back
-
into the life of God for those who were separated through sin
-
and death. Jesus declares this.
-
We know that God and is the triune God.
-
We have the God the Father eternal of the Kingdom.
-
We have Jesus Christ his Son, right, who was the word wrapped
-
in flesh glory to God. And then we have the Holy Spirit
-
that there is there breathing. Come on.
-
And orchestrating life into people's lives.
-
But look what he says here in John about Jesus.
-
Jesus declared this himself in John 1125 through 26.
-
He said this. I am.
-
I am the resurrection and the life, you know, and all I used
-
to think about in the spirit of the Lord prompted me with this
-
as I was studying as Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
-
Yeah, he, he was resurrected. He was brought back to life
-
through the power of the Holy Spirit, like the Father said he
-
would be. But as I began, no, he is the
-
resurrection and life of your life, because see, you were dead
-
before Christ, bound up in your sin.
-
Come on. But he can be the resurrection
-
and the life to you. When you call on his name, he
-
says I am the rest. So there's nothing dead.
-
Come on, that he cannot breathe life back into.
-
It doesn't matter how hopeless of a situation you think you
-
might be in or whatever you may be going through, and it looks
-
like death ahead. I'm telling you, if you'll just
-
allow him to breathe his life on that situation and on that
-
circumstance, he can resurrect it once again.
-
Come on, an old stale marriage can be resurrected, corrected if
-
you'll allow him to breathe that resurrection power on your
-
marriage. See, because he is, He says I am
-
the resurrection and the life who he who believes in me,
-
though he may die, He shall live.
-
He's letting you know this body is going to die.
-
Come on. But those who've called on His
-
name and believe that He is the resurrection and the life and
-
the Savior of the world, they will continue to live on in
-
eternity. And everyone who lives and
-
believes in me will never die. Hallelujah will never die
-
because we are eternal beings. Even when people die, death is
-
not the end because they will burn in the lake of fire for
-
eternity. That's what the scripture says.
-
Hallelujah. It gets quiet up in here.
-
But see, we have to be reminded of some of these things of
-
eternity and that it's real and we're living in it.
-
Amen. Romans chapter 6 and 23 says
Romans 6 chapter mention
-
this. For the wages of sin is death,
-
but the gift of God is what? Eternal life.
-
So now he moves on into saying, listen, I am the resurrection in
-
life. But then we go on and see.
-
But now he's saying, listen, I am eternal life.
-
I'm not just life, I'm eternal life, eternal life, forever and
-
ever and ever. His Kingdom will have no end.
-
His Kingdom will have no end. Hallelujah.
-
John 17 three says this. And this is eternal life that we
-
may know. You listen, the only true God,
-
Jesus Christ, whom you have sent, and Jesus Christ whom you
-
have sent, eternal life is at our hand.
-
It's already here. It's already here, and we get to
-
choose the way we're going to live eternity.
-
Hallelujah, in this life and the one to come.
-
Amen. First John five.
-
First, John 511 says this and this, and the testimony is this,
-
that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His
-
Son. And we know that the Son of God
-
has come and has given us understanding so that we might
-
know Him who is true. Say He's true, He's true, and we
-
are in Him who is true in his Son Jesus Christ.
-
This is the true God and eternal life.
-
Wow, it's so plain in Scripture. So plain.
-
He is life, He brings life and He lets us know that we are to
-
live in eternity and have eternal life.
-
Thank you father. Jesus also said this and John
John 14 chapter mention
-
chapter 14 and verse 6 says this.
-
I am the way, the truth and the life.
-
No one comes to the Father, the Eternal Father.
-
No one comes to the Eternal Father except through Me.
-
He lets us know the only way, the only way to be able to have
-
life and have life eternally is through Him.
-
He's the only way. The way.
-
What does that mean? The one that he is, The way that
-
reconnects us to the Father. It literally means when you look
-
up that word way, he says I'm the highway.
-
If you want to know what Rd. you're on, you might want to
-
read your map. And the map is every
-
circumstance and every situation and everything you're doing in
-
life. And what does your map lead you
-
to? But he says I have one map and
-
one way, a straight path. That's what it says.
-
He says I am the highway, I am the road.
-
I love the way it broke that down in the Greek, I am the
-
highway, I am the road. And you know what else he says
-
that that word way means? It means the journey to the
-
father. Because I've always said this,
-
the minute you get born again, your life just begins and you
-
start your journey with him. And this journey continues until
-
he blows that trumpet and we go on, come on into heavenlies, and
-
then we come back and we help him establish and put His foot
-
down in Israel, Jerusalem. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. And so I'm telling you, He is
-
the only way that can reconnect us to the Eternal Father.
-
He's the highway, He's the road. I love it.
-
He gives us the right direction. God will never lead us astray.
-
He will never lead us astray. He will never lead us in a wrong
-
direction and in a wrong path, but He'll always lead us
-
straight to life, straight to life in every situation.
-
And it says He is the truth. The truth is what reveals God's
-
reality and who He is. He is the truth.
-
It is not your own truth and what you make it and bits and
-
parts and pieces of who you might coexist with.
-
No, He says. I am the truth, I am the way.
-
And do you know what truth means?
-
It means true in any matter, in any circumstance, when you look
-
it up in the Greek, true in any matter and in any circumstance.
-
So no matter what circumstance you're going through, no matter
-
who's saying what, the the the North Star is pointing right
-
here to truth. And what does truth have to say
-
about every circumstance or every situation you're going
-
through? Come on, because it's the truth.
-
No matter what you're going through, it's a lie.
-
It might be the circumstance and the situation, but the truth in
-
the matter is, is that God can make a way where there seems to
-
be no other way. The truth of the matter is, come
-
on, that he can breathe life into everything that is going on
-
into your life. Hallelujah.
-
And then he goes on to say in the life, I am the life, and
-
that literally means I am the breath source.
-
That's what he means by the life.
-
I am the breath source. I am life.
-
I'm the only life there is, the only life that there is.
-
I am the source of life. Everything else is really non.
-
It's not even reality. So false reality that the devil
-
has blinded the eyes of people so that they can't see the light
-
and the life of God. And that's why we need people
-
like you to pray so that the eyes of people's understanding
-
would be enlightened, so the veil of darkness would be
-
removed from their eyes so that they can see the light of the
-
glorious gospel. It's a false reality when we're
-
really, you know, they tell us we're all, no, we're actually
-
living in the reality of what true life is, of what true life
-
is. But this life, this life that
-
we're living is eternal. We are eternal beings.
-
And I'm telling you what He lets us know that there is only one
-
way to be able to receive this life and walk in this life, have
-
a superior life, have a more excellent life.
-
Because He didn't want us to have to live like this world and
-
people in darkness live. He didn't want us to have to be
-
bound in what all the people of this world are bound in.
-
He didn't want us to have to live that way.
-
Hallelujah. He had a better way of living
-
for us. Glory to God.
-
Look at Matthew. I'm going to close with these
-
last few scriptures. In Matthew chapter 10 and verse
Matthew 10 chapter mention
-
39, it says this. Whoever finds his life in this
-
world will eventually lose it through death.
-
The scripture says that. I'm not saying that.
-
The truth is saying that. And whoever loses his what life,
-
not his wife, don't lose your wife.
-
Whoever loses his life in this world for my sake will find it.
-
And that is life with me for all eternity.
-
Hallelujah, life with him for all eternity.
-
Those that choose to live to lose this life and receive his
-
life. Hallelujah.
-
Now look at John John chapter 12 and verse 25.
John 12 chapter mention
-
It says this. The one who loves his life
-
eventually loses it through death, but the one who hates his
-
life in this world and is concerned with pleasing God will
-
keep it for life eternal. You see that for life eternal.
-
That was just another scripture reading, Matthew, Luke and John.
-
But now look over here. Matthew 2534 says this.
-
Then the King will say to those on his right, come, you who are
-
blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you
-
from the foundation of the world.
-
So from the very beginning of creation, He's been preparing
-
and has a place come on for us for all eternity for those who
-
choose come on to be a part of his Kingdom.
-
And then if you continue reading on and drop down to verse 4441,
-
in that same chapter of Matthew 25, it says this Matthew 2541 it
-
says then he will also say to those on his left, depart from
-
me accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been
-
prepared. For the devil and his angels.
-
So he's saying through that scripture he was talking about,
-
listen, those that choose me, they're going to have life with
-
me in eternity in my Kingdom eternally.
-
But those who don't listen, they're going to be thrown into
-
a place that that God never wanted his humanity to have to
-
go to that place. But because Adam chose to rebel
-
and because he created this place for his, for the devil,
-
because he chose to revel, rebel, and his angels listen,
-
then this is the place of torment and punishment for
-
rebellion. And he never wanted us to have
-
to be there, but he will. To all of those who choose not
-
to call on his name and not to receive this free gift of
-
salvation. There is a place of eternal fire
-
and it's prepared. And unfortunately, many are
-
going to go into it, but we need to be about the Father's
-
business and let them know how they don't have to go, how they
-
don't have to go to this place. Look at Matthew 25 and 46.
-
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous
-
into eternal life. So there is eternity at hand,
-
and you can decide where you want to be in eternal punishment
-
or in the lake of fire or in His Kingdom.
-
Come on, that is going to last and rule and reign for eternity.
-
And we get to choose. And that's what's so awesome
-
about God is that He will not make anybody submit.
-
He will not make anybody, but what he'll do is he'll show them
-
the way. He'll show them away and he'll
-
show, show them by showing them people that will come across
-
their path that are living their best life, their best life in
-
Christ, the one that is more excellent and superior.
-
And to see that they are being blessed and that they're able to
-
overcome things that are going on in this world and they're not
-
having to, you know, yield to the things of this world.
-
And this is what He wants for all mankind, for them to
-
recognize eternity is at hand and that we need an eternal
-
Savior, the Savior of the world, Amen.
-
And He is the only one that can bring life, real life, true
-
life, eternal. Amen.
