  1. Well, if you have the Bibles, turn over to Matthew chapter 16.

    Matthew 16 chapter mention

  2. Trying to get a little heading here.

  3. I got a couple things rolling in my spirit and I'm determining

  4. when I want to release a couple of thought processes.

  5. It's more than a door people. You know, we started this year

  6. off and our theme, the Reigning Church, this is our last Sunday

  7. before we move into 2026 to the Lord.

  8. Terry and I want us to end on the same thought process.

  9. You know, they say how you leave a place is how you'll enter a

  10. place. Well, you know, we came into

  11. 2026 because we've been in this theme of reigning since 2020.

  12. And I do not believe reigning in love itself is going to be

  13. diminished. Although we may not utilize the

  14. term sometime, you know in the future it could be, but the Lord

  15. is preparing the earth for His reign.

  16. And you know in the Western society we do not understand the

  17. concept of Kingdom as well as the East does.

  18. And even the East is losing it because Western civilization is

  19. trying to incorporate a new thought process called a

  20. democracy within those regions so that kingdoms in love itself

  21. continue to fall away. However, the Bible's about a

  22. king, his Kingdom and his royal offspring.

  23. It is an eternal truth. And that means that it is

  24. something that is in our future. Not only is it in our presence

  25. and was in our past, it's also in our future.

  26. So there will be, there will never be a time that a Kingdom

  27. thought process ceases to exist. Now the the governments of man

  28. may be trying to eliminate this concept, but Jesus is not Amen.

  29. And a democracy is not better than a Kingdom.

  30. A Democratic Republic is not better than a Kingdom.

  31. Socialism is not better than a Kingdom.

  32. Dictatorship is not better than a Kingdom, all right?

  33. The Kingdom of God is eternal and it's amazing.

  34. Amen. And so we want to look at the

  35. church that's raining because God has much to say about it.

  36. Look at Matthew chapter 16, starting in verse 13 through 19.

    Matthew 16 chapter mention

  37. It says when Jesus came to the district of Caesarea Philippi.

  38. Let me say this first, stay right here, but I'm just going

  39. to quote a scripture that I normally use, Matthew 15 Three,

  40. Jesus said, why do you forsake the commandments of God for the

  41. sake of your traditions? And again, it's very important

  42. for us to make sure that we do not have traditions.

  43. There are certain things that God has spoken to me through the

  44. years that navigate my life all right?

  45. And it makes me who I am because the Word changes me, which means

  46. I am never in someone's mold. I've decided to not be in

  47. someone's mold. I'm choosing to be in Christ.

  48. Now, in Christ is not a denomination.

  49. So I'm not in a Baptist mold. I'm not in a Presbyterian mode.

  50. I'm not in a Methodist mode mold.

  51. I'm not in a Charismatic mold. I'm not in a Pentecostal mode

  52. mold. I'm not in a Word of Faith mold.

  53. OK, I'm not in any of those molds.

  54. I'm in the Word, and then I have to then allow my mind to be

  55. renewed to thought processes that are only conducive with the

  56. Word, which means I have to become a critical thinker in

  57. order to make sure what I am firmly persuaded in is in

  58. Scripture, not in the tradition of man.

  59. Now, critical thinking is not negative.

  60. Critical thinking is Lord. It is a passion to know only

  61. what God knows, how God knows it.

  62. Amen. And in our society there's a lot

  63. of words that are being thrown around and are being redefined.

  64. But there is the source of words.

  65. In the beginning was the and the word was with God, and the word

  66. was God. Now we know his name.

  67. Once he put on a skin suit. His name is what God is.

  68. The author of words before anything else was.

  69. God was and God is. And when God speaks, that is the

  70. author of all words. Now man can try to redefine

  71. words because he's made himself a God in it of himself, but he

  72. does not hold the power God holds.

  73. So God has a right to define. And since we were lost, say I

  74. was lost, come on, say I was lost.

  75. If you were lost, that means you do not did not know where you

  76. were going, you did not know what you were thinking, and your

  77. thoughts were wrong even though you thought they were right.

  78. The Lord identifies you. There's a way that seems right

  79. to a man, but in the end is, and if we would maintain this

  80. thought that I don't know everything I think I know and

  81. what I do know could be wrong, should the Lord expose that it

  82. is. And when he does, I have to

  83. change because he's not going to change.

  84. He doesn't need to change. So every time we go into

  85. Scripture, I no longer go into scripture thinking I know that

  86. scripture. There are things I know about

  87. it, but there could be more clarity as I continue.

  88. Which means then in order for us to help a Society of people who

  89. are extremely complacent at not investigating the information

  90. they hear. When you're in a society which

  91. will flip through social media and something will come across

  92. and they'll go, Oh my gosh, did you see this?

  93. Did you hear this? And they did not even examine it

  94. to see if it's so, then that means it is a ripe environment

  95. for deception. Ripe environment for deception.

  96. So when you get around a minister that is going to

  97. provoke your thinking, tell you say hold on a minute, do you

  98. know what you know? Now one particular minister was

  99. a master at producing thought provoking statements because

  100. they would make statements that you'd go what?

  101. Because it would challenge your thought.

  102. Now, that did not mean that they were saying what you were saying

  103. wrong. They're just saying think about

  104. what you're thinking about and make sure what you're thinking

  105. is what he's thinking. They're his thoughts.

  106. Hallelujah. But because we're in a shock and

  107. awe society that the first word said all of a sudden people

  108. like, oh, I can't believe we don't even want to hear anything

  109. further because we do not want to take the time to determine if

  110. it's so we do not do honest assessments.

  111. It's easier to stay with a tradition than to discover

  112. truth. Tweet that.

  113. OK, so Matthew 1613 says this. Now when Jesus came into the

  114. district of Caesarea Philippi, he was asking his disciples, his

  115. what? Not converts, but disciples.

  116. These are those that enlisted. These people gave up their lives

  117. and followed him. Their whole routine of everyday

  118. changed. His disciples, their routine of

  119. everyday changed. That's who He called a disciple.

  120. He didn't call a disciple of those who did their same thing

  121. and showed up when they wanted to, to hear what he said, no,

  122. they changed their actual existence, their routine of life

  123. and follow. Why do you?

  124. He said, who do people say that the Son of Man is?

  125. And they said some say John the Baptist and others Elijah, but

  126. still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.

  127. And he said to them, but who do you say that I am?

  128. Simon Peters said you are the Christ, say you are the Christ,

  129. say you are the Christ, you are the Christ, the Son of the

  130. living God. Is your Christmas dinner sitting

  131. on you still? Because I hear it in your tone.

  132. You sound a little sleepy, you know, after you've had that

  133. Christmas dinner. All right, You are the Christ.

  134. Come on, You are the Christ. You are the Christ, the Son of

  135. the living God. And Jesus said, blessed are you,

  136. Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to

  137. you, but my Father who is in heaven, which means you cannot

  138. naturally appraise this, cannot do it.

  139. Hallelujah. Oh man, I could preach there for

  140. a while, but we're going to verse 18.

  141. But also say to you, I also say to you that you are petering

  142. upon this rock. What rock is that?

  143. It is the revelation that Jesus is the Christ.

  144. Christ is not a last name. It is title.

  145. It is title. OK, I don't have a title.

  146. Apostle is not a title. Prophet is not a title.

  147. Pastor is not a title. Evangelist is not a title and

  148. teacher is not a title. They are gifts in the body for

  149. the church. But Christ is title.

  150. It is the anointing one in his anointing.

  151. It is the King. It is the long-awaited Messiah.

  152. It is the one who's going to come and establish a Kingdom

  153. that will have no end. He's the King and upon the

  154. revelation, He's the King. Hallelujah, he said, I will

  155. build my church and the gates of hell or Hades will not overpower

  156. it. So the power of darkness does

  157. not overpower the church. Jesus builds upon the thought

  158. that he is king. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  159. Then he goes on and says verse 19 Because of this reason, I

  160. will give you the keys of the Kingdom.

  161. See, Christ is in verse 18. He's going to or verse 17 that

  162. he's the Christ and upon the revelation of the Christ, he's

  163. going to build a Church of which then now we get into the concept

  164. of Kingdom. All of these are in line because

  165. if you're going to say Jesus Christ, you have to say the

  166. Kingdom. You have to say it.

  167. To not say it is to not talk about Jesus rightly divided, he

  168. said. I'll give you the keys of the

  169. Kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth.

  170. Notice the Kingdom has a function in planet earth.

  171. All right shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever is you

  172. loose on earth shall have been loose in heaven.

  173. I love this translation because it's letting us know heaven's

  174. will becomes known in the earth. And when you know heaven's will,

  175. you can get heaven's will in the earth.

  176. That's why Jesus said now when you pray, pray this way, our

  177. Father who art in heaven hallowed be your name, your

  178. Kingdom, your will be on as it is.

  179. That's why he says whatever you bind on earth, when you do the

  180. binding on earth, it has already been bound in heaven, which

  181. means you know the will of your Father.

  182. You have heard the voice of the one who has seated on the throne

  183. and Thrones are in kingdoms, not in religions.

  184. All right, and I'm going to be honest with you.

  185. What I'm preaching is not a narrow or a separate

  186. individualized truth or teaching.

  187. It is the concept of the Bible by which all other subjects are

  188. subject to. Period.

  189. Faith does not exist outside the Kingdom in the way He wants you

  190. to function it. Healing.

  191. All those things are byproducts of the Kingdom of God.

  192. Hallelujah. We cannot be ashamed of this.

  193. So Jesus said I'm going to build my church.

  194. All right, So what do we understand here?

  195. We know that Jesus is the door. He says that he's the door and

  196. that you enter through him. However, the Kingdom is not a

  197. door. The Kingdom is bigger than a

  198. door. All right?

  199. And there's a few things that we can learn from.

  200. This passes because Jesus is the Christ.

  201. His assignment is to build his church.

  202. OK, now to be nice, I would say it this way.

  203. To build his church he must have citizens, and to have citizens

  204. they must be delivered from one domain to another.

  205. To provoke critical thinking. I would say it this way.

  206. Jesus is #1 priority was not to win the lost, but to build his

  207. church. However, winning the lost builds

  208. the church. But here's the problem.

  209. If the emphasis is only to win lost, then building the church

  210. is not necessary. This is very important because

  211. again, there are concepts and there are truths within the

  212. Bible, but if you focus on certain truths without seeing

  213. big picture, you lose purpose. Jesus, when he announced to his

  214. disciples, who do people say that I am?

  215. Then he says, who do you say, well, you're the Christ, you're

  216. the expected one. You're the one that's going to

  217. set up a Kingdom in Israel and it's never going to end.

  218. They understood the purpose and Jesus said I am going to build

  219. my church. Now in order to build a church,

  220. you're going to have to be born again.

  221. We know this because he says how can I have citizens in my

  222. Kingdom here when all of them have been in rebellion to the

  223. Kingdom? They're cut off and they cannot

  224. come by earning it. They can't purchase their own

  225. way in. That's not the pathway of

  226. immigration in God's Kingdom. It is sonship and sonship alone.

  227. Are you hearing me? The only way you can be a

  228. citizen of God's Kingdom is you must be born of it.

  229. The problem is man has fallen. He is separated from God.

  230. He is not of God's nature. He is in a likeness in the

  231. context that he spirit, soul and body.

  232. God said let us make man in our image, and the original man was

  233. literally in his image. However, when Adam ate the fruit

  234. and died and his spirit, man was cut off from God.

  235. He's still spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body and that

  236. is the makeup of man. But yet he has no relationship

  237. with man or with God, because now he is a God into him unto

  238. him. Now when I say that he's not

  239. technically a God to himself because there's another power,

  240. he has now submitted to Adam. When he lost dominion, he had a

  241. sustaining power, but when he released it to the enemy, he

  242. became a submitted with no power.

  243. When he was made in the image of God, he was submitted to God

  244. with power, but when he ate the fruit, he now became submitted

  245. to a power with no power. Submission was going to happen

  246. either way. Submission is never going to not

  247. be a part of our lives and submission is the first step to

  248. authority anyway. With that being said, God knows

  249. when God makes statements I'll build my church, He knows people

  250. need to be born again. But he did not say, and upon the

  251. revelation that I'm the Christ, I'll win the lost, 'cause if

  252. that was the purpose, then building the church would not be

  253. necessary. And we could all then assimilate

  254. to the belief that all that matters is I ask Jesus into my

  255. heart and that I'm saved. And when I die, I go to heaven.

  256. And we could live that existence freely, which means this is not

  257. necessary. And and the greatest attack in

  258. the last days is on this. And it's been on this, it's been

  259. on this since the inception, because the Lord gave

  260. assignments for them to go plant churches, to establish churches.

  261. And in order to establish a church, you must go into a

  262. community and reveal to that community you're outside this

  263. Kingdom. But you can be in it if you'll

  264. be born of it. And you'll be born of it if

  265. you'll receive the blood of Jesus.

  266. He's the Lord of all. He's paid the price.

  267. Come on. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  268. And we're going to set up this church.

  269. Now when we hear church, because we're in a Western society, we

  270. think of it as a building, a place where we come and sing

  271. songs to the Lord. But yet the the the believers or

  272. the disciples of this time knew it was a totally different

  273. concept, nothing like the US or Western society.

  274. See churches today. And until we change our

  275. thinking, we'll get stuck in a tradition thinking we're

  276. worshipping God when we're not. In fact, I, I know of a

  277. particular denomination, I'll just leave it at that, where

  278. someone was in it, did all the rituals, all the traditions was

  279. told that they were right with God, only to find out they were

  280. never right with God. Because that particular

  281. denomination did not require that you confess Christ as your

  282. Lord and Savior, call on his name to be saved.

  283. It was not a requirement. There was never an altar call.

  284. And I'll never forget seeing this lady's face who now is a

  285. minister for Jesus Christ. Say, you know, all this time I

  286. was sitting in the church and I was going to hell.

  287. Now this is interesting thought I saw this writing concerning

  288. this that I thought that is extremely accurate, you know,

  289. because right now there is an attack to break this up.

  290. Now let me look read this in another translation, verse 18

  291. because it literally gets it exactly right.

  292. And when we read this, this is how the disciples heard Jesus

  293. say it. It says it this way.

  294. I give you the name Peter a stone, which is a Little Rock.

  295. And this truth of who I am will be the bedrock foundation on

  296. which I build my church, my legislative assembly, and the

  297. power of death will not be able to overpower it.

  298. Now, when I say legislative assembly in the United States,

  299. if I said, well, I went to a legislative assembly this

  300. morning, right? If some, if you walked into town

  301. today and you know, you popped into Chipotle or you went to

  302. some other restaurant and they're like, well, what'd you

  303. do today? Well, I went to a legislative

  304. assembly this morning. Will anyone, both Christian and

  305. non Christian think you went to church?

  306. They will not. They'll be like who, who, who is

  307. having a legislative assembly because we've been wired

  308. separation of church and state, which is God in government.

  309. Yet God is government. God is the government, the

  310. government that will last forever.

  311. Say Amen, Hallelujah. And you're going to be

  312. considered a heretic 'cause you say stuff like this.

  313. But it's absolutely the Bible. All right, so here, this is what

  314. they heard. So you know what, you can go

  315. around town and say, you know, where did you go to church?

  316. Well, I went to a legislative assembly this morning, Right.

  317. What do you do on Sunday, man? I go to a legislative assembly

  318. on Sunday. Some men, they're going on

  319. Monday. On Wednesday night, I'm going

  320. like, wow, you sure are involved in your local government.

  321. You bet I am. I'm extremely invested in it.

  322. Are you hearing me? And I saw this writing that says

  323. man in his thinking thinks he is doing away with church.

  324. But if you look at the world, churches never being done away

  325. with, it's just being modelled in different venues.

  326. Because when you see a legislative assembly or another

  327. translation from the Greek means those who are called out and set

  328. apart, they, they collect upon the same place, right?

  329. And they allow, they have common interest, they allow the belief

  330. system at that assembly to dictate how they govern and

  331. there will be worship or praise associated with that particular

  332. assembly. Well, you understand, yesterday

  333. at certain cathedrals, sanctuaries, we call them

  334. coliseums or stadiums, today there was an assembly.

  335. People called out, They represented something and they

  336. gave cheer and money. I mean, you're supposed to give

  337. to the Lord these people that, oh, you just want my money.

  338. Well, apparently the colleges just want your money.

  339. Apparently the NFL just wants your money.

  340. Apparently, the NBA just wants your money, and not only do you

  341. pay for a seat because I didn't charge you for this one, not

  342. only will you pay for your seat because you understand, Rufino,

  343. your seat would be a lot more than Ernesto's back there,

  344. right? For you to be sitting here and

  345. people are paying it happily. I mean, they get season tickets

  346. and then you pay for the concessions.

  347. You're paying for parking. You do that.

  348. I mean, I'm gonna need to get my parking lot to say that's a $25

  349. slot now. You know what?

  350. No one argues. Oh, y'all don't want to hear

  351. this? No one argues with the attendant

  352. Daytona beat Speedway. The the 24 Hours of Daytona is

  353. about to hit in January. I would love to go see that one

  354. this year. I'm going to have to wait till

  355. next year. But then you got the Daytona 500

  356. and and racing stadiums are even larger.

  357. The largest one is the Indianapolis 500 and they packed

  358. that place pay to park, purchase all kinds of items, spend

  359. multiple day passes and they praise well, church has not been

  360. eliminated. It's just been reassigned.

  361. See, man's just reassigning what it they can't get rid of this

  362. desire to praise, this desire to conform to something that they

  363. can put all of their energy, their resources and their time.

  364. I mean, when the college season ends, people are going to be

  365. depressed, but they will be on to their theology.

  366. They will be studiers of their theology.

  367. I mean, you think the church has podcasts, These other assemblies

  368. have podcasts. I mean, they're going to tell

  369. you who we're tracking in the NIL deals and who's in the

  370. transfer portal and how are the people doing that are all been

  371. heard or whatever. I mean, we track the players, we

  372. know their names, we get their heights.

  373. Where are the schools? Where was the last place that's

  374. studying to show yourself, oh, you don't want to hear this.

  375. It's not gone, It's misplaced. So when people say, well, it's

  376. just hard for me to get into church, No, it's not because

  377. you're into it somewhere else already.

  378. I mean, you're so far into it that you don't even realize how

  379. far into it. And if you could buy season

  380. tickets, I and this and I could go beyond this.

  381. We could talk about ballets. We could talk about arts and

  382. entertainment. I mean, people will go to

  383. concerts, sing songs with people who don't even know them, cry

  384. when they walk into the stadium that that person touches their

  385. hand, they fall out. Say it in.

  386. So I mean, Elvis Presley had something going on that they

  387. just would fall out. Are you hearing me?

  388. So man is doing what God always put in man for him and him

  389. alone. Hallelujah.

  390. I wonder how many people are NFL hurt, NBA hurt, huh?

  391. I wonder how much I got ballet hurt, T-ball hurt.

  392. I mean, you know, how many parents are running their

  393. children around in these little leagues, you know, and I get no

  394. problem as long as it's not taking center stage.

  395. Hallelujah. The church has never hurt you.

  396. Never. People hurt people, Hallelujah.

  397. That's real. Hallelujah.

  398. So Jesus came to establish the church and how the church

  399. function is functioning in the world right now.

  400. I mean, it should be an easy transition for us because we can

  401. recognize, wow, all of our worship, all of our praise, all

  402. of our resource, all of our time, all of our talent.

  403. You understand what I'm saying? I mean, think about it, There

  404. are people out there that are raising money for all kinds of

  405. organizations, OK? I mean, and they will pitch them

  406. and push them and, and go after them and take all kind of time.

  407. But how much do we do it for the church, for that which Jesus is

  408. building? So the minute we take this

  409. thought process that you know what, I don't have to go to

  410. church, it's not important. Well, then you don't know what's

  411. important to Jesus. Jesus said I will build my

  412. church. And what's awesome about that is

  413. that He is personally being responsible for it.

  414. He did not delegate it to the apostle, the prophet, the

  415. pastor, the teacher, or the evangelist.

  416. He's doing it and those gifts are just a part of it.

  417. Like the rest of the Saints. We're all just a part of it, of

  418. which He is the one to be adorned.

  419. He is the one to be glorified. He's the one.

  420. Why do I come to church? Because he's the head of it.

  421. Why do I show up? Because he's here.

  422. Why am I here? Because he's worthy of honor.

  423. It's what he's interested in. He's interested in it.

  424. It's his most active process is to build his church.

  425. So we could say it this way. We could say, therefore, the new

  426. birth is the initial process of building his church, but not the

  427. only process. It's what gets it.

  428. It's the doorway into the Kingdom of which now

  429. discipleship plays the next role of equipping the Saints.

  430. All right, but let me take you through a journey.

  431. Just so you know this particular door.

  432. I have no problem when Jesus says I will build my church.

  433. He knew that step one is you must be born again, right?

  434. Because Nicodemus says to him, man, you must be from God.

  435. He said unless a man is born again, he will not enter the

  436. Kingdom. So what's he show associate?

  437. He said kingdom's what you're after.

  438. I get it. The problem is you cannot even

  439. enter it or see it until you're born again.

  440. But once you're in born again, then you now have access and

  441. that's not it. It's the beginning.

  442. John first John chapter 3 verse 5, Jesus says, you know that he

    1 John 3:5

  443. appeared in order to take away sin and in him there is no sin.

  444. So again, Jesus said listen to his disciples.

  445. Did you get the revelation? I'm the Christ Father sent told

  446. you that. Guess what, I'm going to build

  447. my church. Now in order to build it, I'm

  448. going to have to take away the sins of the world.

  449. Step one. This is step one people.

  450. This is not the message of Jesus.

  451. This is the process that Jesus has to go through in order to

  452. build his church. These are foundational levels of

  453. him building the church. Jump down to verse eight.

  454. First, John 38 says the one who practices sin is of the devil,

  455. for the devil has sinned from the beginning.

  456. The Son of God appeared for this purpose to destroy the works of

  457. the devil. Well, we know that's not his

  458. only purpose because he said I'm going to build my church and

  459. building his church is the first process is you have to destroy

  460. the works of the devil. Those things that bind people

  461. from being able to enter in he John chapter 16 verse 11 says it

    John 16:11

  462. this way and concerning judgment because the ruler of this world

  463. has been judged. Now this is what I love because

  464. again, if you just read first John 3, then you think, well,

  465. Jesus is here to deal with sin. But Jesus associates sin with

  466. the devil. He's come to destroy the works

  467. of the devil. He's going to take away sin.

  468. Sin is a byproduct of the devil. But who is the devil?

  469. He's the ruler of this world of the system that functions.

  470. He's been given the dominion of Adam.

  471. So Jesus is saying there is a ruling power in the planet that

  472. has Adam's dominion that I've come to get back, and I'm going

  473. to build my church because in order to build the church, which

  474. is a legislative assembly, which is the Kingdom of God, so that

  475. the Kingdom can function in and on the earth always, whether

  476. it's present or not, it's irrelevant.

  477. So it will function for all of us to be able to participate in

  478. it. I'm going to have to deal with

  479. the ruler of this world. He has been judged.

  480. Are you hearing me? Then you get into Hebrews

    Hebrews 2:14–15

  481. chapter 2, verses 14 to 15. It says therefore, since the

  482. children share in flesh and blood, He himself likewise also

  483. partook of the same, that through death He might render

  484. powerless him who had the power of death, that is the devil, and

  485. might free those who through fear of death were subject to

  486. slavery, how often all their lives.

  487. So again, the Bible tells us here in Hebrews that Jesus has

  488. to come as a man. It's because man was given

  489. dominion in Genesis. One man gave that dominion to

  490. the devil, of which he acknowledged he received it in

  491. Luke chapter 4 of the temptation of Christ.

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  492. And so in order for God to legally give man back dominion

  493. that he spoke with this is he had to send his own son as a man

  494. to claim it. Hallelujah.

  495. And Jesus says I'm coming to build my church.

  496. And in order to build it, I'm going to have to deal with this

  497. power of death. I'm going to deal with this

  498. issue called sin. I'm going to have to pay the

  499. price that no human can pay cause none are righteous.

  500. No not one but I will. The sinless one became our sin

  501. so that we would have a right to be children of God and be a part

  502. of His church, His legislative assembly, His Kingdom in the

  503. earth. Colossians chapter 2, verses 13

    Colossians 2:13–15

  504. to 15 says it this way. When you were dead in your

  505. transgression and the uncircumcision of of your flesh,

  506. He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us of all

  507. of our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of

  508. death consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to

  509. us, and has taken it out of the way, having nailed it, come on

  510. to the cross. Verse 15.

  511. And when He disarmed the rulers and the authorities and made a

  512. public display of them, having triumph over them through him,

  513. he tore down principalities and powers.

  514. He went over into the gates of Hades or death.

  515. They could not prevail against him.

  516. He busted through his fortified system, crushed him, made an

  517. open spectacle of him, and then took Dominion back and says now

  518. I can give it to whomever calls on my name as being Lord of

  519. their lives. Lord is not a religious word.

  520. It means supreme and authority. You are recognizing his kingship

  521. or he's the Christ of your life. He is the one who rules and

  522. reigns and you are submitted to his rule.

  523. And let me just tell you this, you're submitted anyway, even if

  524. you're not. Because if you leave this life

  525. without ever calling on the name of the Lord willfully, he'll

  526. look you dead in the face, judge you righteously, meaning all of

  527. your wrongdoing is going to be there and you'll know it.

  528. He'll know it, and all creations going to know it.

  529. You'll have no case, you cannot win, and he's going to show you

  530. the blood that flows and that all of it had been forgiven if

  531. only you had asked and that you made the conscious choice to

  532. stay. Stubborn, stiff necked in your

  533. own self will going to do it your way.

  534. Going to be a God unto yourself, only still worshiping the other

  535. one, the Prince of the power of the air, the father of lies, the

  536. devil himself, who's your daddy? And he's going to say, depart

  537. from me. I never knew you, you worker of

  538. lawlessness, which means you work things contrary to my word.

  539. And you'll be cast into the lake of fire.

  540. You will not be able to resist that word.

  541. You won't be able to say I'm not going.

  542. You'll you'll have no power and you'll be cast into the Lake of

  543. Fire, which is the eternal prison system of the Kingdom of

  544. God, of which everyone is there or there because they earned it

  545. and wanted it. There will be no one to say I've

  546. been wrongly accused. It will.

  547. There is no appeal. There is no appeal process.

  548. It is over forever and he will show you every opportunity you

  549. had to receive the precious blood to get out to be free.

  550. Because again, it's not about forgiving you of wrongdoing.

  551. It's about telling you your purpose.

  552. And I'm learning this because I'm studying, taking a little

  553. time in some theological books. And I'm asking this question, is

  554. the basis of these human written books concerning Bible

  555. interpretation? Are they only in the context of

  556. Genesis 3 to Revelations 20? Because if they are, then their

  557. way of of rightly dividing the truth will not meet a biblical

  558. standard, won't meet it. There are those, and I agree

  559. that the church has become too man centric, very man centric,

  560. where man's the hero of the book.

  561. The man is not the hero of the book.

  562. And those individuals say it is Christ centric, but what they're

  563. saying is it's only about Christ.

  564. And you know what, that's not true.

  565. It's not true that the Bible is only about God.

  566. It's not only about God. You know what God told us about

  567. us. So the reality is the Bible is

  568. about God and His creation, which includes how it was to

  569. function. And the center of it all is the

  570. Lord. Don't get me wrong.

  571. But because of Him, I know who I am.

  572. I know who I am. So the Bible does teach me about

  573. me because as I learned Him, then He reveals me.

  574. The Bible's not just about God and it's definitely not just

  575. about the redemption of man. It's about us both.

  576. Same in anyway. It's about both because there's

  577. a lot of ditching going on, lot of ditching going on.

  578. And when you get over in ditches and you stay in specific veins,

  579. then you miss things. If the Old Covenant was not

  580. necessary to understand the new Covenant, he would not have

  581. included in in its writings. It's necessary.

  582. And the Kingdom is the only thing that connects both.

  583. Hallelujah. So we see here that this

  584. redemption we have is destroying A principality, a power, a

  585. dominion. Moving you out of one place into

  586. the next. So the early church understood

  587. that the Kingdom did not have to be here physically to experience

  588. and access its culture. In our, you know, in our Western

  589. society, the majority of the teaching is about a future

  590. event. And when you have a future

  591. event, you'll not believe for a now event.

  592. Now there are future things, but there are things you can access

  593. now. And if you do not understand how

  594. the Kingdom functions today in its current state, not

  595. physically being present where the eyes can see, and you think

  596. it's just only future, well then you'll miss out all the benefits

  597. that come now even though you don't physically see it.

  598. Which tells us that the early church was not receiving Christ

  599. as their savior and then waiting to exit.

  600. Their idea was way different. Their idea was we can transform

  601. our communities because we are accessing a culture and have

  602. access to it now in the name of Jesus.

  603. That can disrupt what's going on in society today.

  604. How do we know this? Look at Ephesians chapter one,

  605. verse 19 to 23. It says, and this is the

  606. surpassing greatness of his power towards us who believe.

  607. Are you a believer? Come on, are you a believer?

  608. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of his

  609. might which he brought about in Christ when he raised him from

  610. the dead and seated him at his right hand in heavenly places.

  611. Far above all rule and authority and power and demean and every

  612. name that is named, not only in this age, but also on the one to

  613. come. And he put all things in

  614. subjection. What under his feet and gave him

  615. his head over all things. Where to the church?

  616. Not to the lost, but to the church.

  617. So it's the church that has this power and dominion.

  618. But how are you going to be the church?

  619. You must be born again. Now, once you're born again,

  620. then you get to move into a thing called authority.

  621. But you can't function in authority if you've not been

  622. trained in it. So it says he gave all things,

  623. gave him his head over all things to the church which is

  624. his body, the fullness of him who feels All in all.

  625. Ed Salvoso said this. He said the 1st century

  626. ecclesia, which is the word church in Matthew 16, introduced

  627. A radical and revolutionary social agenda that launched a

  628. process that literally changed the world.

  629. It changed the world. This this function of Jesus as

  630. Lord of my life was so radical that it upset communities in how

  631. they live their daily lives. It was not Jesus come into my

  632. heart and save me and everything's going to be que

  633. Sarah, Sarah, whatever will be will be.

  634. No, it was transformed so much so that townspeople, especially

  635. in the community of of Ephesus says this guy, which his name

  636. was Jason, has brought in some people that they have turned the

  637. world upside down with this thing that Jesus is the king.

  638. And now he's in our community. And if we don't do something

  639. about it, then our great Diana, this God that we worship, that

  640. we've deemed is the one that's God.

  641. And all of our little idols that we make all of our money of and

  642. all this trade that we do, these people are going to burn them.

  643. Our trade's going to be gone. We won't submit to this one

  644. called Jesus. We want our money out of our man

  645. made idols and we want our community bound in that

  646. idolatry. When they came in, it was

  647. disruptive. Now it wasn't by violence in the

  648. context that they came in and made people submit.

  649. If you don't submit, we'll kill you.

  650. They didn't do that. It was peaceful, it was love, it

  651. was kindness, it was demonstrating the fruits of the

  652. spirit. It would then through

  653. benevolence and benevolence not only through the giving of

  654. goods, but on the healing of the sick, casting out devils,

  655. raising the dead, glory to God. It was amazing.

  656. It transformed communities because these people were

  657. passionate. They knew the Kingdom is here,

  658. the Kingdom has arrived, it's it's spiritual life and by

  659. vibrancy is here. The name of Jesus called all

  660. authority. And when I speak that name, the

  661. demons flee, sickness comes off, the dead are raised.

  662. It was amazing, transformative, but it's also said we

  663. institutionalized the church, turned it into programs, and now

  664. it does nothing to change our society.

  665. But Doctor Martin Luther King said this junior, he said there

  666. was a time when the church was very powerful.

  667. It was during that period that the early Christians rejoiced

  668. when they were deemed worthy to suffer for what they believed.

  669. In those days, the church was not merely A thermometer that

  670. recorded the ideas and principles of popular opinion.

  671. It was a thermostat that transformed the Moors of

  672. society. The church, you know, modern day

  673. church is especially in the Western church is, is so

  674. disconnected from the Moors of society.

  675. We'll stay in our camp and you know, we're not here to bother

  676. you. You do what you want to do at

  677. the expense that we won't even really try to change anything.

  678. And then when you come to us, we're going to change the way we

  679. look so much that you won't be offended when you come in.

  680. Yet Jesus said the word will offend, not because it's

  681. offensive, but because it will require you to change.

  682. Not it. He's life.

  683. We were in death. He never sinned.

  684. We were professionals, experts in the field, all of us experts

  685. in the field. If we don't watch out, we'll try

  686. to negotiate with God what part of that old life we can maintain

  687. and that he should be OK with when he's like, no, I brought

  688. deliverance for you completely and entirely, spirit, soul and

  689. body. Yeah, you can have it all.

  690. And your life should shine so bright that your whole community

  691. should take notice. You shouldn't blend in, and you

  692. should be so radically different that if they choose to

  693. assimilate to who you are, persecution is inevitable.

  694. But don't be upset when it comes because you're not of this

  695. world. Drive on anyway, Hallelujah.

  696. Receive the suffering in my name and know my reward is great.

  697. Hallelujah. And we got to get back to those

  698. kinds of passions. Ephesians 26 said this.

  699. He raised us up with him and seated us with Him in heavenly

  700. places in Christ Jesus. Come on, have you been raised

  701. up? Have you been raised up?

  702. The church is raining in the earth today.

  703. It is what Jesus is building. The most important thing on the

  704. planet is church. Is church.

  705. If it was not important, then God would have never tasked the

  706. Apostle Paul with planting. What's the purpose?

  707. Go preach in a field. Get them born again.

  708. Go on to the next community. Go on to the next community.

  709. Go on to the next community. Don't do it.

  710. Don't make them show up. Don't talk to them about how

  711. they need to live different now. I mean, why we have all these

  712. letters, Why is he saying you formally now you do, your

  713. behavior was, but now it is. And these are church talk.

  714. This is legislative assembly. This is how the Kingdom

  715. function. This is the lifestyle, the

  716. behavior, the cultures, the norms of of a citizen within

  717. God's Kingdom of which your nature now can produce because

  718. it's in Christ. And he says now I need you to

  719. change this community so you come together, you grow,

  720. function, walk in love, have brotherly kindness, have unity

  721. of the faith, endure conflict together.

  722. And you can change this. You are the light on a hill

  723. because without you, it's darkness.

  724. I need to equip you. I need to train you.

  725. I need to challenge you. I need you to get some things

  726. adjusted, things switched out a little bit because again, the

  727. church's assignment is not to win the lost alone, although the

  728. lost can be won and will be won because of the church.

  729. In fact, First Peter 215 or 315 tells us the actual role of the

  730. church. Jesus said I'll build my church.

  731. And then through the the Holy Spirit in his writing to Paul,

  732. who is mentoring Timothy, who has taken the pastoral ship of

  733. Ephesus. Ephesus's pastor was assigned by

  734. an apostle. The pastor didn't pick the

  735. church. The apostle picked the pastor.

  736. OK, Paul was an apostle that planted the church at Ephesus,

  737. and now he's had elders. Some of those would have been

  738. pastors. And now he said, Timothy, you

  739. are the new pastor of that church.

  740. They did not have a board to hire him.

  741. The congregation didn't pick him.

  742. The elder board didn't pick him. The apostle assigned him.

  743. You're the guy and then he said don't let anyone look down on

  744. your youthfulness. And then he lets him know

  745. concerning the church. He said this, he says, but in

  746. case I'm delayed, all right, so that you will know how one ought

  747. to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the

  748. Church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.

  749. There's the role of the church. Well, you know the role of

  750. church and win the loss. No, it's not.

  751. It's part of what a church will do, because a truth of the

  752. church is you must be born again.

  753. But it's not the only church truth the church carries.

  754. In fact, when every other sector of society, its pillars are

  755. collapsing, ours should remain firm.

  756. We are the pillar and supportive truth because what we carry

  757. cannot be eliminated. Because our King, who is the

  758. head of the Church, is the truth.

  759. He's not a truth, He's not my truth.

  760. He's the truth, He's the truth, and we are the pillar and

  761. support of the truth. It's not my opinion, it's what

  762. He says. So don't argue with me about how

  763. you think you can live. He has clearly identified in His

  764. Word how you ought to conduct yourself, which means there's an

  765. expectation. And you know what?

  766. It's an easy one actually, because your nature in Christ

  767. already can produce it. You resisted through a unrenewed

  768. mind, not through a new spirit. Are you hearing me?

  769. Hallelujah. So another minister by the name

  770. of Sunday, he said this. He said people are supposed to

  771. come to church and be aware. Are you aware today and be aware

  772. that you are being trained and recruited?

  773. The church is supposed to be a place like a classroom or a war

  774. room where you have been equipped to go out from Monday

  775. to Fridays and fight for the cause of the Kingdom.

  776. Not like fighting demons that have been defeated thousands of

  777. years ago, but fighting to bring the righteousness and rules of

  778. the Kingdom of God into your sphere of influence.

  779. You are here today to be trained or recruited.

  780. You are not here to have a guest experience.

  781. I'm not here to get to make you have a great experience 'cause

  782. this is not about you. So I don't care if the greeter

  783. didn't smile today because it really wasn't about you, or if

  784. you didn't find the closest parking spot because it really

  785. wasn't about you anyway. It's not about your experience.

  786. What did you have a good experience today?

  787. What did you experience God today?

  788. And you know what? God.

  789. Sometimes when people are experiencing God, it's

  790. uncomfortable because when God came down on the mountain, it

  791. was uncomfortable to those that weren't living right.

  792. And if you're not living right, then you're not going to have a

  793. good experience. You're going to have an

  794. experience, but it may not feel as good as you thought it'd be.

  795. Like what? Why is my wrong showing up all

  796. of a sudden? I thought I had I thought I was

  797. that was good. I thought that was I go into

  798. other churches and and and it don't come to the surface like

  799. that. I mean, you go into some

  800. environments and they are acting like the rest of the world and

  801. saying, but when we all go to heaven or when we die, we go to

  802. heaven because we've asked Jesus in our heart.

  803. Now, I'm not judging those. I'm just saying those

  804. environments exist. I'm not their judge.

  805. But in here, it shouldn't be a guest experience.

  806. It should be a God experience and how will you experience him?

  807. Well, it's at the level of your devotion.

  808. I mean, if you're looking for the Lord, welcome to anchor

  809. faith. We we can show you people that

  810. love God and are passionate about God and since the love of

  811. God, but yet if you're fleshly, it's it's going to be

  812. problematic and it's going to be a rough experience.

  813. And some of you could testify when you were living in the

  814. flesh that it did not feel good to come to church and it wasn't

  815. a God problem. God was actually trying to help

  816. you by warning you and saying you shouldn't feel comfortable

  817. living like that Monday through Friday and then coming in here

  818. and raising your hands and acting like it's acceptable.

  819. I pay too good of a price. Because you ought to conduct

  820. yourself different. You ought to Hallelujah.

  821. And that's not condemnation. The Holy Spirit will convict you

  822. of a quality of life that is better than the one you're

  823. allowing yourself to live. Hallelujah.

  824. Woo. The life of God is good, man.

  825. Wow, it's amazing. Woo, man, you know, God hates

  826. sin and we should not feel like sin is a good place to be in

  827. this environment when we assemble together.

  828. We should want it the holiness in the the glory of God in the

  829. presence of God, because with him there is no sin.

  830. And if there's sin somewhere, then man, it should challenge

  831. you should you should even wait for an altar call.

  832. You should just run to the platform and say, God, I got to

  833. get that out so I don't miss anything in the word today.

  834. Hallelujah, I'm coming out of 2025 with a bang, so when I get

  835. into 2026 we'll go to another level.

  836. Hallelujah, glory to God. Last passage of scripture is

  837. this Hebrews chapter 3. His church reigns in His

    Hebrews 3 chapter mention

  838. Kingdom. There is no sin and the good

  839. news is you can function in this earth detached from sin, not

  840. only in your spirit, but your soul and your body.

  841. You can be blameless, live holy. You have an advocate if you mess

  842. up, but messing up is not practicing.

  843. Messing up should not be a daily occurrence.

  844. Hebrews chapter 3 verse one through 6 says this.

    Hebrews 3 chapter mention

  845. Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling,

  846. consider Jesus the What is He, Apostle and High Priest of our

  847. confession? Let me just stop here for one

  848. second. The gift apostle, of which Jesus

  849. is the foremost in all gifts. He had no problem identifying

  850. others with that gift, not only in his which are the apostles of

  851. the Lamb, but later when the dispensation of the church

  852. through the Apostle Paul, the Apostle James, the Apostle

  853. Priscilla and Aquila, the apostle Apollos.

  854. There are multiple apostles beyond the original 12.

  855. OK, which means they're still in the earth today.

  856. And Jesus has no problem ordaining those gifts today,

  857. because He is chief. He goes on and says this.

  858. He was faithful to him who appointed him as Moses.

  859. He was faithful to him who appointed him as Moses also was

  860. in all his house. For he has been counted worthy

  861. of more glory than Moses, but just as much as the builder of

  862. the house has more honor than the house.

  863. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all

  864. things is God. Jesus said I will build my

  865. church. First Timothy three said that

  866. it's the household of God which is his church.

  867. So the house Jesus is building is the Church of which the

  868. builder gets greater glory. Let's go on now.

  869. Moses was faithful in all his house as a servant, for which

  870. for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later.

  871. But Christ was faithful as a son over His house.

  872. Whose house is that? Whose house we are?

  873. Another name for his house is the Church.

  874. If we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm

  875. until the end, that tells me. That the head of the church is

  876. faithful to the church. The question is, is the house

  877. faithful to the builder? Because the minute you start

  878. posting that I quit institutionalized church.

  879. I just stayed at home with my family and, you know, I read the

  880. word with them and it freed up my time and I didn't no longer

  881. have to submit to anything the pastor was saying.

  882. And my life with God has grown so much and I've grown.

  883. I'm just going to tell you right now, biblically speaking, those

  884. comments are a lie. That's a lie sounds good on

  885. social media. And they present their greatest,

  886. you know, face as if their lives all together.

  887. But I'm telling you that is a lie, and that is a deception of

  888. the devil to get you disconnected from the one who is

  889. faithful. Now, I understand there's a

  890. universal church. I get that.

  891. But again, if it was only about universalism, then God never

  892. would have told the apostle Paul and we would have not have had

  893. these writings of the church at Corinth, the church at Kalasha,

  894. the church at Galatia, the church at Ephesus.

  895. Why are they there? Who cares?

  896. It's a global church. Why are we having these local

  897. people assembled in these local communities?

  898. Why 'cause they were designed to be the light in that community.

  899. It is a nation within a nation. It is an embassy in a community

  900. of which the ambassadors assemble to hear from the home

  901. country and walk out in the Moors of society and say you

  902. could live this life now different because Jesus came to

  903. build his church. And when he see when people see

  904. the Kingdom on you, then those that are in the world will

  905. become like a Nicodemus to you, man.

  906. I see that your life is you. You've you've got to be tapping

  907. into God. And that's when you say, unless

  908. a person is born again, they'll not see the Kingdom that I

  909. function in daily. And then you lead them because

  910. the first initial step, she must be born again.

  911. But that's a that's the first process is not the end because

  912. we're enlisting you to a discipleship.

  913. And I'm going to tell you right now, you want to stay with the

  914. church. You want to stay with the

  915. church. You do not want to buy the lie

  916. of being separated unto yourself and you're a part of the church.

  917. Don't buy that. You need to show up, You need to

  918. come and learn. You need to recognize that you

  919. are being trained and recruited, that you are being conditioned

  920. with the Word to become all God ordained you to be.

  921. And there will be pain associated with it, There will

  922. be challenges associated with it, but it will be victorious on

  923. every front because when trouble comes, quit running from the

  924. very thing that he's faithful to.

  925. In fact, I have met with people through the years that when

  926. they've gotten into issues, they separated and the messages that

  927. were being preached week after week were exactly what they

  928. needed to hear the whole time. But because they cut themselves

  929. off, they got along with God. Well, let me tell you what God's

  930. going to say. He's going to say go to church.

  931. And if you think he's not going to say that, then you do not

  932. believe the Bible. How can the head of the church

  933. tell you not to assemble? And I could have testimonies

  934. jump up all across this place this morning.

  935. They could say, pastor, I know what it's like to be here.

  936. And I know what it's like to not and not is worse than being.
