  1. All right, I want you to do me a favor tonight.

  2. I've got a few scriptures that we're going to be putting on the

  3. board and and The Tonight, tonight's sermon title.

  4. We had a genius moment right before we did that.

  5. Put that up there, guys. Here we go.

  6. We're going to talk about illegal entry.

  7. That seems to be the hot subject right now, right?

  8. And, and we're going to talk about citizenship.

  9. And I'm going to let you know in advance tonight, I'm going to

  10. leave you hanging, all right, because I'm going to cover two

  11. different subjects this evening. And I, I want you to take some

  12. notes. And the reason why, you know,

  13. and this is at the request of the highest level, the apostle

  14. of our church that has told me exactly what he wanted me to

  15. share about, which is my honor and and privilege to be able to

  16. do so. So, but I want to make sure that

  17. we do as I prayed, have ears to hear and eyes to see because

  18. it's going to be critical in these last days because people

  19. have been watching you. I don't know if you know this or

  20. not. Your neighbors have been

  21. watching you. They see you get up every Sunday

  22. morning. You know, they don't have to

  23. wonder where you're going. You know, they also often think

  24. we ought to go too, right? But the thing that we need to

  25. make sure that we have is an understanding on how to

  26. communicate. All right, the salvation message

  27. and being able to get in the Kingdom.

  28. And we're going to cover some things tonight because over the

  29. years of being, you know, in the ministry and, you know, at our

  30. previous church, I was on staff as an associate to our pastor,

  31. David EMI in Sand Springs. OK.

  32. And one of the things that I noticed during altar calls and

  33. different things like that, that, you know, our our apostles

  34. and I don't know, I get thrilled every time that he ministers

  35. because we never know what we're going to get.

  36. It's like, you know, chef's surprise or something, right?

  37. And, and, and the thrill that I get in listening to that, even

  38. in when he's he's communicating the Kingdom.

  39. I've had some people say, man, if I hear another Kingdom

  40. message, I'm just, I'm going to leave.

  41. I said, let me show you the door because we going to teach on the

  42. Kingdom, OK, And and I never get tired of hearing it ever.

  43. I mean, it was so life changing. It was the the missing piece in

  44. my life. When I heard it on that June

  45. 7th, 2009. It it just made.

  46. I said, man, that just answers everything.

  47. Melanie and I, you know, we're in the car.

  48. She looks at me, she goes, I've waited my whole life to hear

  49. this message. And we have, if you've been in

  50. church any length of time, you know, I find myself, you know,

  51. going to church, you know, you're going through the

  52. motions. But when you finally hear

  53. something that puts everything together, connects all the dots,

  54. it is the Kingdom of God and understanding.

  55. And really what was interesting is in 2007 on Black Friday,

  56. everybody know what a Black Friday is.

  57. That's when your wife and all the, the women folk go crazy and

  58. we'll get up early, go shopping, stuff like that.

  59. Well, I refuse to do such things.

  60. So what I did was I used that day to get before the Lord and

  61. just find out how I was doing, you know, did I miss anything I

  62. got anything else left to do? I only got a month.

  63. Help me. And the Lord spoke to me and He

  64. said just two things that year. He said #1 you're not Kingdom

  65. minded enough. And I had no idea what he was

  66. talking about. I said, well, one, if you say

  67. that I am not Kingdom minded enough, I must not be Kingdom

  68. minded enough. I'm pretty sharp.

  69. And I said, OK, you're going to have to show me what you're

  70. talking about. Well, that was 2007.

  71. I studied, I mean studied and went through every scripture in

  72. the New Testament on the Kingdom of God, had a list of them,

  73. printed the list of them. And Pastor David asked me, He

  74. said, hey, I'm going to give you 2 Wednesday nights.

  75. I'm having deja vu, I'm going to give you 2 Wednesday nights.

  76. And I want you to teach what you've learned and what the Lord

  77. showed you about the Kingdom. Listen, I got up there and I

  78. still didn't know nothing about the Kingdom.

  79. And I gave the two best shots that I could.

  80. And it wasn't until we got down here and I was supposed to go

  81. with Apostle Earl to hear Miles Monroe.

  82. I didn't know it was Miles Monroe, but we got in town that

  83. week like 2:00 in the morning on Tuesday, he's leaving.

  84. Friday he comes up, he comes back totally changed and I

  85. missed out on it, man. But you know what?

  86. I have run a good race catching up.

  87. There is no doubt about that. So the reason tonight is so

  88. important is that I am going to share because like I said, you

  89. know, I've seen so many altar calls and, and different ways

  90. that, you know, they do them at the end of service is your

  91. tradition of them. And they'll ask people, you

  92. know, if you want to, you know, you want to be saved.

  93. That's that's the title basically of what we're going to

  94. talk about is what is true salvation according to the

  95. Bible. And but, you know, they say if

  96. you want to be saved, he said, you know, just come down front,

  97. you know, confess your sins as Jesus come in your heart and

  98. you'll be saved. And they fill out a little card.

  99. When I was a kid, that's what they did.

  100. All right. Well, one of the things that I

  101. found out years later, those steps are not in the Bible.

  102. Who could confess all their sins?

  103. If you could remember half of them, you'd be doing, I guess,

  104. good. And we ain't got time to let you

  105. come down here and confess all your sins.

  106. We'd be here for days, probably some of you.

  107. And then to ask Jesus to come in your heart.

  108. There is no place in Scripture that says ask Jesus to come into

  109. your heart for salvation. It is not in there.

  110. So we want to know what is in there.

  111. And it's going to be important that you give an accurate

  112. picture to somebody that asked about the hope that's within

  113. you. As Peter said, he said, he said

  114. be always ready to give an answer to those that ask about

  115. the hope that lies within you. We want to give them an accurate

  116. answer. So tonight we're going to start

  117. in Genesis chapter 1. And really what I want to lay

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  118. out is this is one thing that that I found when we have had

  119. people come down and they'd want to get saved and we pray a

  120. prayer with them and then the next morning they'd wake up.

  121. So we get them, we get them saved on Sunday, they wake up on

  122. Monday, right? And then they ask a question,

  123. what did I need to get saved from what, what was what was

  124. coming, what was happening that I needed to be saved.

  125. All right, we're going to talk about what happened.

  126. All right now scholars tell us this is that if we go to the

  127. first chapter of Genesis that the the creation in chapter 1

  128. when he began to speak, he was really making a covenant because

  129. see, when God makes a covenant, he speaks it in his existence.

  130. Really that is the only way Josh right now is teaching blood

  131. covenant in FCU and there's two elements to the among many, but

  132. there's two main elements to a covenant and it is a blessing

  133. and a cursing. You can't think about a blessing

  134. and you can't think about a cursing in your head and say

  135. you're cutting covenant. In order to have a covenant, it

  136. has to be spoken. You have to speak it.

  137. So God made a covenant as his speaking when he began to

  138. create. And scholars tell us they've

  139. lit, they've labeled all the covenants through the Bible.

  140. The first covenant is the Solaric.

  141. It's called the Solaric of the solar system, of the stars, of

  142. the moon, the sun, the first days of the first days of

  143. creation. That was that was the time where

  144. God created everything. Then he gets into the 26th

  145. verse. Everybody should have it

  146. memorized. Somebody asked you about it.

  147. You need to know what it says because you may not have your

  148. Bible. You may have left your phone on

  149. your desk, whatever you need to have that verse.

  150. Jot this verse down. Genesis one verse 26.

  151. OK, this is what He said and God said after He had created

  152. everything else, we get to the 6th day and he said, and God

  153. said let us make man in our image and after our likeness and

  154. let them have. And you need to note the word

  155. dominion, all right? He said you're going to have

  156. dominion over the fish of the sea, that fowl, the air, over

  157. the cattle, over the earth, and over every creeping thing that

  158. creeps on the earth. So in other words, he's letting

  159. him know I'm going to create this being.

  160. He's going to have the image. That's what the word image mean.

  161. He is going to have the outward appearance of me, and he's going

  162. to have my likeness or my traits or some characteristics that

  163. look just like me. All right.

  164. Then he says, and here's what I'm going to do.

  165. Once I get him in the planet, I'm going to give him dominion

  166. of everything that I created the first five days.

  167. OK, that's the plan. All right, so when we look at

  168. the word, I want you to know the word dominion in the Hebrew, it

  169. is the word radah, RADAH, radah. And here's what the definition

  170. is so that you understand what God's intent was.

  171. It means to rule, to dominate, or to tread down.

  172. In other words, He's given them the authority to be able to

  173. tread down on something if necessary.

  174. But he says I'm giving you the rule of the planet.

  175. I want you to dominate the planet.

  176. Now, if you think about it, really when it comes to a

  177. government that God is setting up, and we've proven this so

  178. many times, apostles gone over scripture, over scripture and

  179. scripture, you know, talking about that God was setting up a

  180. government. And for me, that was the key,

  181. the link that I needed because I learned all that stuff about the

  182. Kingdom. But the word government is what

  183. changed everything for me. OK, It wasn't a religion, all

  184. right. Now, when he said you got

  185. dominion, He created man in verse 27 in his own image and in

  186. the image of God created him male and female.

  187. He created them. That ought to put a stop to all

  188. the stuff that's going on today. I mean, you got to get back to

  189. the original facts. He created a man, He created a

  190. woman. You look at all the animals.

  191. He created a male, He created a female.

  192. All right, I, I'm so sorry that people are confused about that.

  193. I mean, come on, you know, all right, now, verse 28, it said,

  194. and God blessed them. Now remember, in order to have a

  195. covenant, there's got to be a blessing, all right?

  196. He blessed them and said, all right, be fruitful and multiply,

  197. replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion over the fish

  198. of the sea that fowl the air and over every living thing that

  199. moves upon the earth. So again, we have the same word,

  200. radha in the Hebrew, all right, that that means I, I created you

  201. to rule and to reign in this planet.

  202. All right, The first thing that we need to get an understanding

  203. on our part as rulers and those that reign is you can't rule and

  204. reign without saying something. Can you imagine a king?

  205. Come on, people are waiting. What's he going to say next?

  206. So we can do something and he never says anything.

  207. You only rule and reign based upon your words.

  208. What it is, are you saying that's how God, it designed it

  209. for us? OK, so let's take a look.

  210. Because when we see, we see the fact that we were created to

  211. rule. We were created to reign.

  212. He gave us all the creation to rule and reign over.

  213. We weren't supposed to rule and reign over each other.

  214. You know, people ask me my thoughts on football.

  215. I like football, but I don't know there'll be football in

  216. heaven. Why?

  217. Because God never designed us to try to dominate, dominate each

  218. other. If you want to see domination of

  219. each other, watch a football game.

  220. All right. But I can't say that that was,

  221. you know, part of his original plan of entertainment, that we

  222. needed entertainment. OK All right.

  223. I want to go to the next covenant that God had once he

  224. got man created. All right?

  225. Now, I think it's interesting. It's in Genesis chapter 2,

    Genesis 2:15–17

  226. verses 15 through 17. I look at the book of Genesis

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  227. chapter 1 as as kind of like a table of contents.

  228. It lets us know what he did on each day.

  229. You know, I mean, he said let there be and there and, and it

  230. was. And then, you know, there was a

  231. couple of days in there, like the 4th day or so.

  232. He said let there be more than once.

  233. So that means, you know, he's heading toward a vacation day.

  234. Don't we all get real busy right before vacation?

  235. You know, in fact, whoever we're working for for probably wonders

  236. how come they don't work that fast all the time.

  237. It's amazing how we come alive before vacation.

  238. We get more done than we got done in the whole month, right.

  239. So he tells us in here in the the the next covenant is called

  240. the Edenic covenant Eden with the economy end of it.

  241. The Edenic covenant, which is God has spoken.

  242. So he's getting ready to speak some things.

  243. Once he got the creation of the garden done in verse 15, it said

  244. and the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of

  245. Eden to dress it and to keep it. OK, I've often pictured that in

  246. my mind. How do you do that?

  247. He put him in the garden. Did he go pick him up by the

  248. head and put him in the garden? But it says he took the man and

  249. put him in the garden. Now notice he had a job

  250. description. Now it's interesting to note

  251. that in the 2nd chapter, verse 5, God lets us know one of His

  252. major intentions on bringing man in the garden.

  253. He said, listen, he said before things began to grow, before

  254. even a, a, a leaf shot up out of the ground.

  255. He said there was no rain. He didn't let anything start in

  256. the earth because he did not have a man to till or he did not

  257. have a man to toil in it. So that lets us know in advance

  258. that God was looking for a good manager.

  259. He's still looking for good managers over his creation, over

  260. the things that he gives you. You have to ask yourself, am I

  261. qualified to be a manager? Well, that's what he said in

  262. here. He wanted him to dress it, which

  263. meant manage it, to toil, to take care of, to cultivate the

  264. garden. Then he said to keep it.

  265. And the word keep in the Hebrew is the Hebrew word shamar, and

  266. it means to hedge about, to guard or to protect.

  267. Now it's interesting because you have to ask the question then

  268. what was he supposed to guard and protect it from?

  269. Well, we'll find out here in a minute.

  270. But God intended him and let him know.

  271. I need you to. He said, saying of every tree of

  272. the garden. In verse 16, He said he

  273. commanded the man. So here is the part of the

  274. blessing of the the Edonite Covenant, he said, and the Lord

  275. commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden you may

  276. freely eat, that's a blessing. In other words, there's no

  277. limits. You can eat of all the trees of

  278. the garden. But he said, but there's one

  279. tree in verse 17, but of the tree of the knowledge of good

  280. and evil, you shall not eat it. For the day that you eat it, you

  281. will surely die. No, we usually puzzle.

  282. Earl lets us finish that for me. The day you eat it, you shall.

  283. Surely we we all know that one, right?

  284. Now let's talk about the Hebrew word.

  285. It's very simple, all right. In the Hebrew, it is the word

  286. muth, pronounced muth. And you know what it means dead.

  287. That's what I mean. It mean basically he's just

  288. talking about death and and and you know, I don't know.

  289. We have no record that he explained it.

  290. Think about it. Don't eat it.

  291. The day you eat it, you surely die.

  292. I've looked at Melanie and I go, what is this die?

  293. What is die mean? What is that right?

  294. We have no record that they understood it, but we don't have

  295. a record that didn't. Now, I'm sure based upon the

  296. communication and the vocabulary and the different things that

  297. God probably spoke more to them than we have record of.

  298. What do you think? Right.

  299. So of course, of course he did. Now still part of that covenant

  300. in the Garden of Eden. We go to chapter 3.

  301. All right now he tells us in there that he said there's just

  302. one commandment. You're blessed to eat everything

  303. and have everything that you have need of even told him that

  304. in the last part of chapter 1. He said, listen, I've given you

  305. herbs, I've given you trees with fruit with seeds in them.

  306. He said that'll be your food for you and, and and he said it's

  307. it's going to be abundant. You will have no lack in this

  308. garden. You get to chapter 3 and it

  309. starts out saying, now the serpent was more subtle than any

  310. beast of the field which the Lord God had made.

  311. And he said unto the woman, yeah, hath God said, you shall

  312. not eat of every tree of the garden?

  313. Note this down. This is the first account, and

  314. I'm going to give you 4 points on the operations of Satan

  315. because we find out in Matthew in Mark chapter 4, this Satan

    Mark 4 chapter mention

  316. comes immediately to steal the word that was sown in the hearts

  317. of men. You recall that?

  318. So chapter 3 is pretty immediate after chapter 2 by most counts,

  319. right? So let's take a look at the next

  320. few verses as we see what trouble came and basically got

  321. us into the condition that we're in.

  322. All right #1 when you take a look, he said the servant was

  323. more subtle. He began to ask a question.

  324. You shall, you shall not eat of every tree in the garden.

  325. This is the first account we have of doubting the word of God

  326. that Satan comes to get you to doubt what you've heard.

  327. He starts questioning what you heard.

  328. You get a little symptom in your body.

  329. And all of a sudden the question is, did God say he'd heal all

  330. your sickness and disease? If so, how, how'd you get that?

  331. How, how how's that feel? So that's that's his, his first

  332. way of getting in, always getting you to question what you

  333. heard God say next verse he said, and the woman said to the

  334. serpent, we may ate of the we may eat of the tree fruit of the

  335. trees of the garden. Verse 3 but of the fruit of the

  336. tree in the midst of the garden, God has said, you shall not eat

  337. it, neither shall you touch it lest you die.

  338. The second thing that Satan always will try to get you to do

  339. is add to the Scripture or come up with some kind of weird

  340. interpretation of the Scripture. Now what did she add?

  341. All right, He said the Lord said don't eat it or even touch it,

  342. lest you die. We have no record that God said

  343. that. All right, I bet I know who said

  344. it. I bet Adam did.

  345. Can't you see he's macho daddy savage woman.

  346. Now God told me that we are not to eat in this tree.

  347. I'll tell you what, you don't even touch it.

  348. Let me get you straight. You're not even going to touch

  349. it. You understand?

  350. I know where that came from. But that's a the, the, the, the

  351. critical part of understanding the word of God.

  352. And this is what's so funny. You know, I have people come out

  353. and say, done the Bible, say somewhere and then they'll quote

  354. something and it is so far off I go, oh man, I said you, it's

  355. obvious to me you haven't read it.

  356. You hadn't read the Bible lately, especially on that

  357. particular 1 you just happened to quote.

  358. You know, I've had people over the years.

  359. Here's an example. I had one one time that I went

  360. into their office and and we were, you know, basically

  361. soliciting them for a contract. And she blurted out a few little

  362. choice words and then said God blanket and I go, I guess my

  363. face said a lot. OK, But she said, oh, I'm sorry.

  364. I, I didn't mean to take the Lord's name in vain and I go,

  365. well, I said doesn't bother me because first thing I learned

  366. about God that that's not his name.

  367. God is what he is. His name is Jehovah.

  368. And if you'll read the Scripture and do a little research in the

  369. original language, you'll find out that the word vain means

  370. something that has been declared empty, idle and nonproductive.

  371. So when God says you will not take my name in vain, he's

  372. letting you know I have a name. And along with my name, like

  373. you, all that work for companies have a little title on your

  374. business card. God has a lot of titles.

  375. So he has Jehovah Rufa. He said I am your healer.

  376. I am your healer, so when you say I got this and I and the

  377. doctors say it's terminal, you better be careful of the next

  378. things coming out of your mouth because if you say anything

  379. contrary to God is my healer, you're that close to taking his

  380. name in vain. Does that make sense?

  381. But you don't get that face value because everybody's got

  382. their own interpretation of what they think the Scripture means.

  383. Be intelligent. Study it for yourself.

  384. OK, so he says in there. He when he said in there,

  385. neither shall you touch it unless you die.

  386. She's adding to it. That devil always wants to add

  387. something. He wants you to add something.

  388. He wants you to get away from the meaning so you won't receive

  389. what it says you can have. Does that make sense?

  390. All right, here's a here's the next thing he said and the

  391. serpent next verse, verse four. And the serpent said unto the

  392. woman, you shall not surely die for God does know that in the

  393. day you eat thereof, then your eyes will be opened and you'll

  394. be as God's knowing good and evil.

  395. Here's where the devil gets you into contradiction of what God

  396. said. He flat out lied.

  397. That's why Jesus called him the father of all lies.

  398. He blatantly says God says the day you eat it you will.

  399. The devil says you won't die. So now she's got a decision to

  400. make right now she's heard a contradiction to the word.

  401. Did you know? Like those reports from the

  402. doctor, the devil can set them up to be contradictions to what

  403. you believe. Don't fall for it.

  404. Did I say that loud enough? Don't fall for it.

  405. So that's the third way that he gets in there and he's he's

  406. trying to do what? Snatch the word out of your

  407. heart. Then you get to the sixth verse

  408. and it said when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,

  409. it was pleasant to the eyes and the tree to be desired to make

  410. one wise. She took the fruit and did eat.

  411. Here's a good here, here's a good one.

  412. Listen to this and gave to her husband with her and he did he

  413. you know, I I even heard in the old days, you know, some

  414. ministers said, you know, if it wasn't for the woman, we

  415. wouldn't be in this mess. You know, Sir, really, if it

  416. wasn't for the women, we wouldn't have anything.

  417. Can it? Can I get an Amen?

  418. At least half the half the room. It'd be all right.

  419. OK. She ate and that fool was

  420. standing right there next to her because it didn't say.

  421. She chased him down in the the garden to say here, here, here,

  422. eat this. Grab the Hick.

  423. No, he was standing right there, arm's length.

  424. Handed him the fruit and he ate, which is the final step

  425. transgression of the word of God.

  426. So that's all he's trying to do. He's going to he's going to lie

  427. to you, he's going to twist the scriptures in in front of you.

  428. He's going to contradict the scriptures just so he can get

  429. you to transgress. OK, so it's interesting because

  430. you think about as they ate and they transgress God's word.

  431. Weren't they supposed to die when that happened?

  432. I mean, he said it, but he didn't fall over dead.

  433. So that tells us. And those that were ministering

  434. to there must be different types of death.

  435. OK, because here's the point. First verse in chapter 5 says he

  436. lived to be how old? Anybody know off their head, off

  437. the top of their head, 930 years old.

  438. I thought he's supposed to die. So one of the things that we

  439. need to realize, and this will help you because I've had many,

  440. many conversations with several different, I would call them

  441. cults. They are a culture, OK?

  442. That's why they call them cults. They stick together like birds

  443. of a feather and there's one particular one that is alive and

  444. well in planet Earth today and they do not believe that you

  445. have a spirit man on the inside. They just believe that when you

  446. die, you just go into a soul sleep.

  447. That is not scriptural. When you see, and you need to

  448. note this down, anytime you see the word death mentioned it, it

  449. paints the picture of a separation.

  450. So apparently when they ate of that fruit coming very soon is a

  451. separation or death. OK, now technically speaking,

  452. let me give them to you real quick.

  453. There's three types of death mentioned in the scripture.

  454. One is spiritual death. That's what we believe happened

  455. to Adam when he ate that fruit. Spiritual death, spiritually

  456. separated from God. Second one is physical death.

  457. Because of that, disobedience and sin came in the earth.

  458. The wages of sin. I'll give you the Scripture here

  459. in a minute, but the wages of sin is death and it can be

  460. either spiritual or physical, right?

  461. The last one is what is called the second death and you can

  462. find it referenced in Revelation chapter 20 verse 6.

    Revelation 20:6

  463. And he said those of us that are righteous, the power of the

  464. second death has no power on us. OK, so when we take a look at

  465. that now here we come to the beginning of another covenant

  466. that God has to make after the fall.

  467. So we understand that when they ate of the fruit, there was a

  468. death or there was a separation. He lived to be 930 years.

  469. But something has happened to the relationship with the

  470. Creator. All right, you go to verse 7.

  471. All right, And we start another one called the Adamic Adamic

  472. Covenant. And he said the eyes of them

  473. were both opened and they knew they were naked and they sewed

  474. fig leaves together and made aprons.

  475. OK, now something happened that, you know, basically when they,

  476. they knew they were naked and, and I've studied this out a lot

  477. just to say what was the significance?

  478. Really what I think is either they were, they were clothed

  479. with a glory of God and all of a sudden that what, when it, when

  480. it, when they, they ate of that fruit, it was totally gone.

  481. I think that also there's some other things that I've, I've

  482. given thought to is what kind of body is a glorified body?

  483. Jesus said my body after he rose from the dead, He said, I, I

  484. need you to handle me. I'm flesh and bone, not like a

  485. spirit has. So I'm kind of curious as to

  486. where the heart and the capillaries and everything came

  487. in because there's no indication that Adam had any of that.

  488. There was no mention of blood. There was no mention of it.

  489. Last week. Apostle Earl got up here and he

  490. said the most deceptive thing in the life of a human is

  491. breathing. Anybody remember that?

  492. That something happened in the separation of the spirit of, of

  493. man with God that I wonder if he had to create something in them

  494. to keep them alive because we're all walking around all right now

  495. that's just theory, all right. There's no, no scriptural basis

  496. for it. But all of a sudden there comes

  497. an emphasis of blood. And even the point they said

  498. without there is life is in the blood.

  499. Prior to that life was in God. And so, you know, and, and so

  500. I'm wondering what it is that they look so different or the

  501. notice that they had, but they said in verse 8, they, they,

  502. they heard the voice of the Lord God.

  503. And this is, this is interesting because basically it just refers

  504. to God as God until we get here. And now he's Lord God.

  505. And he said, the Lord God walking in the garden in the

  506. cool of the day. And Adam and his wife hid

  507. themselves from the presence of the Lord amongst the trees of

  508. the garden. And the Lord called unto Adam

  509. and said unto him, where are you?

  510. All right, And we're playing hide and seek.

  511. And it wasn't that God didn't know where he was.

  512. OK, God, probably a garden pretty well, and he probably

  513. knew where he was, but he wanted him to ask himself the question,

  514. where are you? OK, that's the same question

  515. that we need to ask those. They're not born again.

  516. Where are you? And let them know there is a

  517. place that they can be and they don't have to settle for where

  518. they are now. OK, so he tells him, he said,

  519. where are you? And then he, they said unto him,

  520. they said, we heard your voice in the I said, I heard your

  521. voice in the garden. And I was afraid because I was

  522. naked and I hid myself. Now I love how God cuts to the

  523. chase here. He says, who told you you were

  524. naked? And then we didn't start a

  525. conversation on all that because the next question was, did you

  526. eat of the tree? Where have I commanded you not

  527. to eat of? And here we go very first place

  528. in Scripture that man thinks he's going to get away with

  529. blaming somebody. And this is sad because he said

  530. the woman that you gave me said she gave me the tree and I did

  531. eat. So he wasn't just blaming her,

  532. he was blaming God. Like if you hadn't given me the

  533. woman, we wouldn't be in this mess, boy.

  534. All right, Verse 13, he said, God said to the woman, what is

  535. this that you have done? And the woman said, The serpent

  536. beguiled me, and I did eat. And the Lord said unto the

  537. servant, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all

  538. the cattle, above every beast of field.

  539. Upon the belly shall you go, and the dust you will eat all the

  540. days of your life. All right.

  541. So he, he, he first said, you know he leave, he goes to Adam,

  542. right? You can see this, right?

  543. Said, Did you eat of the tree? I told you not to eat the woman

  544. that you gave me, did it? What have you done?

  545. Well, the serpent beguiled me, OK, Because you did this.

  546. This is what's going to happen. All right.

  547. Now you got to get an understanding that the serpent

  548. wasn't the devil. He was a created being, just

  549. like every animal that God had created the first six days.

  550. OK? He was under the influence of

  551. the devil and began to lock. Now here's the funniest part to

  552. me. How does it make you look when

  553. you carry on a conversation with a snake?

  554. How intelligent does that look? Now here's the here's the thing

  555. I got against Adam is that he was told to guard and protect

  556. the place. So we got this snake carrying on

  557. a conversation with his wife, and he must have stood there and

  558. listened to all of it instead of getting a big old stick and do

  559. what I do to snakes. You beat them beyond

  560. recognition. You don't even want to know

  561. there's a snake there, all right.

  562. But he tells them he, he, he, he lets them know you're going to

  563. crawl on your belly. He said you're going to be all

  564. the days of your life. Then in verse 15, I believe he's

  565. changing talking to the source of the conversation, he said,

  566. And I will put an indemnity between you and the woman in

  567. between your seed and her seed. It shall bruise your head and

  568. you shall bruise his heel. He's talking to the devil there.

  569. Snake didn't have nothing to do with that.

  570. Ain't got no seed, all right, not dealing with that stuff.

  571. But he tells him, he said to bruise.

  572. Now let me give you give you a, a picture of this bruised thing.

  573. All right. In the in the Hebrew, it is the

  574. word shoof. Shoof.

  575. OK. And it has one picture.

  576. Crush it. That's what you what I just

  577. said. You do to snakes, right?

  578. You crush them. Now two things are getting

  579. crushed. 1 He said the seed of the woman is going to crush your

  580. head and you are going to crush his heel.

  581. Here's a question, which do you think is easier to get over?

  582. Can you get over heel pain a little better than head pain?

  583. But he said use the word crush that that's what's going to

  584. happen. He's letting him know in advance

  585. how this is going to go down and he said that now to give you a

  586. little significance to understand because he said the

  587. woman seed, not the man seed, the woman seed basically has to

  588. have the man seed to create be saying she won't have to have a

  589. man seed. Her seed is going to come in

  590. contact with the divine seed. You will try to crush his heel,

  591. but know this he's going to crush your head.

  592. All right. So when we see that we need that

  593. we need to understand now he gets done with the the snake, he

  594. gets done with the devil and he goes to the woman and he and in

  595. verse 16 and he lets her know that that the level of what this

  596. curse is brought on because of disobedience.

  597. And in in in covenants, when they pronounce the blessing, the

  598. curse comes when you're disobedient to the blessing.

  599. All right, so he tells, he tells her, you're going to multiply

  600. your sorrow in conception. So you'll bring four children

  601. and your desire to be your husband and he will rule over

  602. you. All right.

  603. Now, I like the illustration I heard years ago that he was, she

  604. was taken from his rib or his side to be beside man, not a

  605. foot bone or a headbone. She does, is she not to be over

  606. him and she's not to be under him.

  607. All right. She's supposed to be beside him,

  608. right? So when when he, he, he lets her

  609. know that. And it's interesting.

  610. The arena of of discomfort and everything is going to be in the

  611. realm of conception. All right, now you go to 17.

  612. And he said unto Adam. He said, Because you have

  613. hearkened unto the voice of your wife, and you've eaten the fruit

  614. which I commanded you. All you that you should not eat

  615. of a curse is a ground for your sake and sorrow shall you eat

  616. all the days of your life. It's interesting to me that the

  617. curse on man was dealing with God's provision.

  618. It seems like when he got the curse or what is going to happen

  619. to him in the separation between him and God, his revision is now

  620. going to be sorrowful. The word sorrow in the Hebrew

  621. means worrisome. So where God provided

  622. everything, part of the blessing of the Garden of Eden, all the

  623. abundance that he had to have and he could have, he said now

  624. he's going to worry. Where's it going to come from?

  625. How come this isn't working out right?

  626. Unfortunately, people today are still living under that curse.

  627. And I think it's interesting also when we talk about the

  628. curse over the land and and if you'll notice if you finish it

  629. on down, he said, you know, thorns and thistles, sweat of

  630. your face. You know in verse 18 and 19 that

  631. it's going to be it's going to be toil.

  632. It's going to be work to get the earth to produce now because of

  633. this separation. But I thought it interesting.

  634. What was the first temptation Jesus had to go through had to

  635. do with his provision. Seems the devil's always after

  636. our provision and he told him he said, listen, he said he said,

  637. you know, I know you're hungry if you are the Son of God,

  638. command that these stones be turned into bread.

  639. Jesus response was phenomenal. What did he say?

  640. It is written and he said, Man shall not live by bread alone,

  641. but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

  642. All that we have read thus far has been because man did not pay

  643. attention to the word of God. The fall of man was really a

  644. failure to follow the word of God and shows us how important

  645. the word of God is to us. The Kingdom is based upon the

  646. words of God. You receiving or not receiving

  647. or having the abundant life you're supposed to have is

  648. extremely dependent. Not independent, but dependent

  649. on the things that have proceeded out of the mouth of

  650. God. All right, now I think it's

  651. interesting. Verse 24 is the ultimate OK

  652. where he says he drove the man out.

  653. He placed in the east garden, the east of the Garden of Eden.

  654. Cherubims with flaming sword turned every way to keep the way

  655. or the road to the tree of life. All right, here's what you need

  656. to realize. In the separation in the Kingdom

  657. of God, what he lost was not only the provision, but the very

  658. number one thing he lost was dominion.

  659. He didn't lose a religion, right?

  660. He didn't lose a thought on how God operates.

  661. He lost his dominion. He lost the relationship where

  662. God came in the cool of the day to sit down and talk to him.

  663. All right. Now it's interesting that

  664. there's no mention in this first part that we've read in the

  665. first 3 chapters the word sin, because that sin is what

  666. separates us from God at our birth.

  667. So we have to find out where did anybody write anything about sin

  668. so we know where we stand when we come into this earth.

  669. All right, I want you to go to Romans 5.

  670. Paul explains this perfectly verse 12, Wherefore as by one

  671. man sin entered into the world, and death or separation by sin,

  672. so death passed upon all men. For that all men have sinned.

  673. Is that clear? Who sinned?

  674. Adam did it even though it didn't call it Adam, you sinned.

  675. God didn't say that he transgressed, which is sin.

  676. All right, A and and here's what you need to know about the word

  677. sin in the Greek language. It is the word hamartia, and

  678. hamartia means very simply miss the mark.

  679. In the old English times, they used it when they called out

  680. somebody missing an archery target.

  681. Sin. That's the picture that you have

  682. arrows, you're shooting the arrows.

  683. If you miss the target, it's sin.

  684. When we don't obey the word of God, we miss the mark.

  685. And it happened by one guy and because of him it explains it

  686. perfectly. Everybody that you will talk to

  687. you that does not know Jesus has sinned according to that verse.

  688. Right now let's read on and go to verse 17.

  689. He said, for by if one man's offense death reigned by 1 much

  690. more. They which will receive

  691. abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, they

  692. shall reign in life by 1 Jesus Christ.

  693. Therefore, as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men

  694. to condemnation. Heard it.

  695. I saw a great post the other day that you know, somebody had

  696. asked the question why would a loving God send anybody to hell?

  697. And the guy said God doesn't send anybody to hell.

  698. As a matter of fact, when you were born, you were born on the

  699. road to hell. You are headed that direction.

  700. The thing you need to realize that God gave an exit ramp and

  701. if you don't take it, it isn't his fault.

  702. We're going to talk about the exit ramp next week.

  703. OK, Then he said for as many As for as by verse 19, for as by

  704. one man's disobedient, many were made sinners.

  705. So by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

  706. So I'm giving you this is kind of a preview next week.

  707. OK, that those verses, it lets us know sin came into the earth.

  708. Every man born, every woman born after that time, they are born

  709. in sin. They need a Savior.

  710. OK, now Romans 323, jot it down. This is kind of what is commonly

  711. called the Roman Rd. because we need to let people know they're

  712. sinners. If they don't know, all right,

  713. For all of sin and come short of the glory of God.

  714. Romans 323 OK Romans 623 For the wages of sin is death,

  715. separation, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus

  716. Christ our Lord. That's what we want, eternal

  717. life. If there's eternal life, guess

  718. what else there must be eternal death or separation.

  719. That was the second death that I told you about.

  720. It's eternal separation from God in the lake of fire.

  721. OK, now what? There is something that allows

  722. us to partake of the gift that I'm going to go over next week,

  723. and I want to give it to you in one word tonight.

  724. So we wrap it up. All right, Matthew 2628, listen

  725. to this for this is the blood of the new covenant.

  726. Jesus was talking. This is His last communion, His

  727. last Passover with the guys, He said, which is shed for many for

  728. the remission of sin. So the Bible talks about many

  729. times. I'm going to give you another

  730. one. There's a it's, it's mentioned.

  731. The word remission is mentioned in the New Testament 10 times in

  732. verse in Hebrews 922. All right, It says, and almost

  733. all things are by law purged with blood and without the

  734. shedding of blood, there is no remission.

  735. You need to know the word remission.

  736. You need to use it when you're visiting with people that God

  737. has made a way and one of the ways that He does remission.

  738. And this is the word Ephesus. Ephesus is the word for

  739. remission. It means freedom, pardon, and

  740. deliverance. But here's it is a forgiving and

  741. a pardon so strong that it lets that sin go as if they'd never

  742. been committed. That's what remission is about.

  743. And we're going to get into that next week and take a look at,

  744. you know, how do we become citizens in the Kingdom of God?

  745. You need to pay attention, need to bring a notebook or something

  746. to take notes to get this into you and part of you.

  747. Why? Because you're going to need to

  748. be sharing it when people ask you, how do we get saved?

  749. This tonight tells you what you needed to be saved from the fall

  750. of Adam. He, he lost his dominion in the

  751. Kingdom, and we need to get that back because that was God's

  752. original tent. Amen.
