Glory to God, all right? Revelation chapter 21 verses one
Revelation 21 chapter mention
-
through 4 Revelations 21. We are not afraid of the Book of
-
Revelation. Simple book to understand,
-
especially when you understand what the Bible's about.
-
But when you don't understand what the Bible's about, you stay
-
away from Revelation because you don't understand.
-
Revelation is just a book of governments, of nations, but the
-
whole Bible is about this. And when you understand that,
-
you don't get upset. Revelation 21 takes place after
-
the catching away of the Church of which most scholars believe.
-
That's a seven-year period before Jesus Christ himself
-
returns to planet earth, puts his foot physically on the
-
planet, takes the devil, and when I say takes, he sends 1
-
Angel, just one, to chain him. Throw him into the bottomless
-
pit and he will stay there for 1000 years.
-
The deceiver will not have a voice on the planet for 1000
-
years. Jesus himself will physically be
-
present in the earth, not for 33 years, but for 1000 years, not
-
as a lamb that was slain, but as the reigning king.
-
The king is coming, I said. The King's coming and after that
-
thousand years he will release from that prison called the
-
bottomless pit, the devil again to roam on the earth.
-
And it will be after Jesus has physically been here for 1000
-
years, ruling and reigning, that nations will actually side with
-
the devil and act like they can go to the Jerusalem that is
-
still in the planet today and wage war against the King of
-
Kings. But it won't amount to anything.
-
I said Adam at his Adam, a breath from his mouth.
-
They will be defeated. And then all of a sudden, the
-
devil for the last time, he will take him and throw him into the
-
lake of fire, which is God's prison system.
-
It's not the devil's home. It's not where he gets to hang
-
out and have fun. It's not like some of the
-
ignorant people of the planet says when I go to hell I'm going
-
to take over and rule. No you're not.
-
You're going to scream, whine, cry and be in torment because it
-
is God's prison system of his Kingdom, of which for all
-
eternity we will see where the rebellious are.
-
This is why no one will ever rebel against God again, because
-
we will have a eternal record of where rebellion exists and it is
-
a lake of fire that burns forever.
-
And those who are in it are there because they wanted to be
-
there. They rejected the Lordship of
-
Jesus Christ and he will be cast there.
-
And then the dead, all those who had died without ever accepting
-
Christ, those that were in that place, not Abraham's bosom, but
-
that place on the other side of the abyss, That place where that
-
rich ruler was, that had that beggar named Lazarus, who used
-
to sit at his table and just look for crumbs as his dogs
-
would leak. Lick the sores on Lazarus.
-
He with his brothers most likely, and all who never called
-
on the name of the Lord or accepted his lordship, will be
-
pulled up out of the grave, taken to heaven, and stand
-
before the great white Throne judgment.
-
And God will judge each one of them.
-
The first book he pulls out is the Lamb Book of Life, and he'll
-
look for their name and we'll not find it.
-
And we'll close that book and then we'll open up the other
-
books. Every little thing of treason
-
and rebellion they ever did to the crown of God's Kingdom.
-
And according to those charges, he will sentence them eternally
-
into the lake of fire and 1 by 1 by 1 by 1, they will be cast
-
into the lake of fire, which is the second death.
-
Revelations 21 happens after this and it says in Revelations
-
21 verse one. Then I saw a new come on, speak
-
with me. A new what?
-
And a new why are we getting a new planet if we're going to
-
live in heaven forever? Now for some of you, I'm sad to
-
say that you've not been taught the actual conclusion of the
-
Bible. The only thing you've been
-
taught about God's conclusion is that we'll be with him forever
-
and he's currently in heaven. So we have decided that we'll
-
live in heaven forever. However, the Bible says then I
-
saw a new heaven and a new. Now I don't call it earth.
-
The Bible calls it earth. Jesus called it earth.
-
Jesus and the Holy Spirit who moved on John the Apostle and
-
gave him this revelation says there's a new heaven and new
-
earth. Now that doesn't mean heaven and
-
earth do not exist. It means they are burned with
-
fire, the 1st and 2nd heaven and are purified.
-
And this earth we're on will burn with fire and be purified
-
and it'll be a new earth for the 1st heaven.
-
And the first earth passed away and there is no longer any sea.
-
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming, coming.
-
What coming? What down?
-
Out of, out of say out of, out of heaven.
-
Glory to God out of heaven, out of heaven from God made ready as
-
a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from
-
the throne saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of God is among men,
-
and he will dwell among everybody said, I want to go to
-
heaven. And God says I can't wait till I
-
come to the earth. God say man, I can't wait till I
-
come to the earth. I cannot wait until I make my
-
abode in the center of all creation called planet earth.
-
Now I'm not saying that the 3rd heaven won't exist, and I'm not
-
saying that we won't have access to it.
-
But I'm saying the Bible's very clear that God is making a
-
habitation on the earth. And you would be wanting only
-
religious tradition to reject this idea, because this is
-
actually not an idea. It is the voice of the Lord.
-
And it says, And He will dwell among them, and they shall be
-
his people, and God Himself, and who God Himself will be among
-
them. Look at verse 4.
-
And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
-
Now this is pretty powerful because we have concluded that
-
the minute we die and we're absent from our body and we're
-
present with the Lord, we won't cry anymore.
-
Yet it's at this point that he wipes away every tear from their
-
eyes and there will no longer be any death cause death He cast
-
into the lake of fire. So anybody would say, well, can
-
can we rebel again in the no, there'll be no longer any death.
-
Those that are locked into life are locked into life eternally.
-
Those that are locked into death are locked into death eternally.
-
And it says there'll be no longer any death.
-
There will no longer be any mourning or crying or pain.
-
The first things have passed away.
-
Wow, wow. Do you understand?
-
Because we have done a disservice to the Scripture and
-
we have stayed within the redemption of man alone without
-
taking in account God's intent for man and what God concludes
-
in Revelations 21 and 22. We have only been following a
-
Savior instead of seeing Him as a king.
-
And a savior is what Jesus did. Jesus had to become savior
-
because man fell from dominion. But Jesus has always been Lord.
-
He's always been the ruler. He's never abdicated his throne.
-
He's always been the ruler and He's been a ruler in heaven at
-
the right hand of his Father. But because man fell from his
-
dominion, Jesus had to come and restore that dominion.
-
Because the Bible's about a king, his Kingdom, and his royal
-
offspring. We see in Genesis 126 again a
-
perfect chapter, Genesis 1 and 2, No sin is on the earth at
-
this particular time. Adam and Eve are made in the
-
image of God, as it says. Then God said, let us make man
-
in our image according to our likeness, and let them have
-
dominion or rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of
-
the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every
-
creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
-
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God.
-
He created them, male and female.
-
He created them, and He never gets that wrong.
-
Dominion means to govern, to rule, to control things, to
-
manage, to master something, to have rulership.
-
When we hear these words today, because the world is in a fallen
-
state and men rule over men, God never intended that.
-
When we hear these words, we obviously start thinking of
-
humans. But Genesis 126 never intended
-
for me to rule Dustin. I was only to rule the things on
-
the earth and over the environment of the earth, not
-
over other humans, because humans are ruled only by one
-
God, only by God. So when God in this Genesis 1
-
ruling is not a negative, it's not oppression.
-
Ruling is release of authority, power, purpose.
-
Because God is so confident in His rulership, He doesn't mind
-
sharing because you can't overtake His throne.
-
Some have tried, all have failed.
-
Some have tried, all have failed.
-
An anointed cherub tried, failed, and a third of the
-
angels fell with him. However, when man still today
-
tries to put his seat above the most high, he fails every time.
-
He fails every time. You say I would never do that.
-
I would never try to rule God. Well, do you do your word or his
-
word? Because if you do your word
-
instead of His word, then you are trying to put your authority
-
above his. Because there's a way that seems
-
right to a man until you line it up with the word of God.
-
Hallelujah. So in this dispensation, God
-
says don't forsake the assembling of yourself together.
-
Which means then I don't make an excuse not to come to church.
-
I show up and I participate in the body.
-
We are participators. We are not spectators.
-
We are jointed and fitted together.
-
We all bring our joint supply. That's not negotiable.
-
That's submission to the highest authority.
-
The one who sits on the throne, the one that every knee will bow
-
and every tongue will confess, is Christ, that Christ Jesus is
-
Lord. And so we see here that God
-
established us to rule. A Kingdom is a government
-
influence of a king over his territory, impacting it with his
-
personal will, purpose and intent, producing citizens,
-
expressing the culture, values, morals and lifestyle, reflecting
-
the King's nature. And this is what God wanted.
-
I'm in heaven ruling here, man. You rule earth down there.
-
Your planet and my place will look exactly alike because we're
-
of the same nature. And you'll rule like I do in
-
your sphere as I rule in my sphere.
-
I ultimately rule all spheres. But I'm giving you access to
-
rule there, to manage, to control, to have dominion, to
-
rule over these things. Notice God never said let man,
-
let's make man in our image corner line is and let him rule
-
over me and the fish and the birds.
-
No, you're never ruling over the Creator.
-
Hallelujah. He gave you very specific
-
boundaries. See, the original plan of God
-
was to extend His heavenly Kingdom on the earth through
-
mankind. God created man to manage and
-
administrate His king dominion on the earth.
-
Because here's the thing, God believes that government is the
-
answer to mankind's problem. It's His government.
-
This is why Isaiah Nah six and seven concerning this child that
-
is coming because Adam had fallen from dominion.
-
He says a child will be born, a son will be given, and the
-
government will rest on his shoulders.
-
Notice a child is born in Isaiah Chapter 9 verse six and seven.
Isaiah 9 chapter mention
-
Notice a child is born, but a son is not born because the son
-
always existed. And this is in your Bible.
-
And I know this can be tough in the US because we've been
-
conditioned or trained to separate government and church,
-
not understanding that church is actually government.
-
Because church is not a term that Jesus used or made-up or
-
communicated to the disciples that they never heard before and
-
was not known in the world that they were living in.
-
In fact, the Greek word is ecclesia.
-
Some say ecclesia, and it it is the same term used by the Roman
-
government for their Senate, for their legislative body, for
-
those who carried out the will of their king Caesar in Rome.
-
And so we as the Church, or more like ambassadors and our
-
assembling is us coming together and the embassy of God, where we
-
hear from the home country and communicate his plans, his
-
purposes, his will upon the governments or tribes and people
-
of the earth. And listen, we're letting them
-
know there's a better government because all the world today is
-
looking for new and better government.
-
Why are there protests in Iran? Why are there citizens?
-
Why is there citizens in Cuba right now protesting because
-
they believe there is a better government for them to be under?
-
And the whole plan is looking for this.
-
And the reality is, is that all forms of government is man's
-
attempt to be in a system that God created, yet without God or
-
without the Holy Spirit. And God never intended man to
-
govern without the Spirit of God.
-
Never. It was never God's intent.
-
For when he made Manny breathed into his breath and his nostrils
-
the breath of life, the Holy Spirit was there to confirm, to
-
let him know that he was a child of God and he could function
-
like God in the earth, in the assignment that God and purpose
-
he had given him. You understand there is a
-
purpose for man. The purpose for man is not to
-
sing. Again.
-
We have taken a tradition of the word worship man.
-
God created us to worship. Well, first of all, worship is
-
not singing. It can include singing.
-
Singing can because singing is actually praise.
-
Whether it's fast or slow, it's praise nonetheless.
-
Worship is when you bow your knee, submit yourself to the one
-
that rules. So in that context, we were
-
created to worship. We were created to bow our
-
knees, submit ourselves to the King of glory, to the Creator of
-
heaven and earth, to follow Him with all of our heart, all of
-
our mind, all of our strength, everything about us was to be
-
His and completely His and willfully His, because He loves
-
us with an everlasting love, with an everlasting love, Mama,
-
it's amazing. And because God created us, He
-
had a position for us. But yet we only see ourselves in
-
our failed state when God is trying to restore us to our
-
righteous state. And He's doing this on all
-
fronts, not just in the spirit, not just in the soul realm or
-
the mental realm, but also ultimately even in the body
-
realm, that our spirit, soul, and body will be glorified,
-
Hallelujah, and will be restored back to what God said.
-
So again, God knows that what's in the heart of all humans, that
-
there is this government that we can exist in that releases our
-
full potential and allows us to live our best life.
-
This is why people come to the United States for a better life
-
for themselves and their children.
-
Children for generations, yet the United States fails when
-
compared to the Kingdom of God. It's not even close.
-
I mean, it's been good, but it's not even close.
-
And ours is on a track right now for some troubled times because
-
we have changed our thinking concerning our government.
-
We call it a democracy all the time.
-
When it's not, it's a constitutional Republic that
-
democratically elects their leaders.
-
And if the more morality of humanity stays with the Lord,
-
then we should be electing moral leaders.
-
But if the majority become immoral, then they will elect
-
immoral leaders and the righteous will suffer as a
-
result of unrighteousness. Because we put power in the
-
hands of humans that are not perfect.
-
But if the church, I said if the church would just rise.
-
And I'm talking, I'm not talking denominationally.
-
I'm talking about those who say that Jesus Christ is Lord.
-
It is easy to recognize who you should and should not vote for
-
because you will strip yourself of a natural party.
-
Not saying you won't have one. So you can vote, but your
-
allegiance will not be to a Republican Party, will not be to
-
a Democrat party, will not be to a Libertarian Party, will not be
-
a part of loyal to a Greenpeace party.
-
There's so many parties out there I can't even name them
-
all. But you won't be loyal.
-
You'll be loyal to the Kingdom and the king alone, and you'll
-
vote accordingly. And let me tell you, every time
-
you cast your vote, the King's writing it down, whether that
-
vote represents him and his word or whether it represents your
-
personal self-interest. So he said, a child will be
-
born, a son will be given to the government, will rest on his
-
shoulders, and his name will be called Wonderful counselor,
-
Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
-
There'll be no end to the increase of His government.
-
Order of peace on the throne of David or over His Kingdom, to
-
establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
-
from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts
-
will accomplish this. Again, every human heart is
-
searching for a new and better world.
-
All men believe that government is the answer of the power of
-
government. God believes it as well.
-
He knows it's His Kingdom. And this can be troubling
-
because at the end of the day, as we've launched this
-
particular topic, when I it's not even a topic, It is the
-
Bible of the Kingdom everywhere that the Bible has a theme that
-
is bigger and larger than the blood of Jesus.
-
Because Genesis 1 and 2 did not need the blood of Jesus.
-
The blood of Jesus was not required in Genesis 1 and 2, but
-
the Kingdom was there. Are you hearing me?
-
The Kingdom was there. So there was an existence where
-
the blood of Jesus was not necessary and man existed in
-
relationship with God without the blood.
-
Now unfortunately, Adam did sin and Adam did bring sin into the
-
world and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of
-
God. And we cannot have a
-
relationship now with God except through the blood.
-
But the blood of Jesus is paying a price to put us back in the
-
position that Genesis 1 wanted us to be in.
-
Most people are just wanting to go to heaven.
-
And let me tell you, you know why you like this idea so much?
-
It's because it strips you of your responsibility of son and
-
daughter ship. You don't want to be
-
responsible. That's why they accept this
-
tradition. Because when you accept
-
kingship, when you accept dominion, when you accept your
-
rightful place, then you know I have a responsibility to my
-
Father to obey Him at His word. I am not just accepting Him as
-
my Savior who paid the price for my wrongdoing.
-
I am yielding to His Lordship. Lord is not even a religious
-
word. It means supreme in authority
-
and because we rebel against any human authority, we really bell
-
rebel against Jesus's authority. But if Jesus is Lord, which is
-
really the only way you can be saved, it doesn't say call on
-
the name of the Savior, says call on the name of the the
-
Lord. You have to acknowledge you are
-
supreme. I could not do it myself.
-
My words had no authority, no power.
-
My actions had no authority, no power.
-
It had no way to make me right and right standing with you.
-
Jesus, you and you alone are the only one.
-
You are the Lamb that's without spot or wrinkle.
-
You are the one who came and fully obeyed the Father's will.
-
You are not like your first brother Adam.
-
You obeyed God at the very word, and you died on a cross, so that
-
your blood would be without stain, so that I could have
-
access again. You did this because you will
-
keep your Father's word, and Father will keep His word
-
concerning me. Now it's up to me and so it's
-
not a hard time, not a hard thing for me to pray, for me to
-
read, for me to be in church because it's an outward
-
expression of something that's changed on the inside of me.
-
I just love to be in the presence of God in every aspect
-
that God wants me to be in his presence.
-
So today I want to show you again that the Kingdom mandate
-
runs through the entire Bible. It's the re establishment to
-
humanity, what God started in the garden.
-
And so he found someone in the earth and said I'm bringing the
-
Kingdom back. I gave dominion to man.
-
Man will have to get it back, but man alone can't do it.
-
So I have to send my own seed in the form of a man.
-
So I'm going to have to have a bloodline.
-
And so we started with a man named Abram.
-
Genesis chapter 12. Let's go through the Bible
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
together. Can we?
-
In Genesis chapter 12 verses one through 3, it says now the Lord
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
said to Abram, go from your country and from your relatives
-
and from your father's house to the land, which I will show you
-
and I will make you a great notice.
-
He didn't say a great religion because Jesus is not interested
-
in religion. He's interested in his Kingdom.
-
He said I'll make you a great nation, I'll bless you and I'll
-
make your your name great. And so you will be a blessing,
-
right? And he goes, and the one who
-
curses you I will curse, and those who bless you I will
-
bless. And then he goes, and in all the
-
families of the earth will be blessed because of Abram, whose
-
name was changed when he, when he walked in covenant with God.
-
God said, no longer will I call you Abram, but I'll call you
-
Abraham. Abraham means a father of many
-
not religions, a father of many nations.
-
I have made you. Now he calls him this before he
-
ever has a son or child of his own, which means God doesn't
-
speak about what's now, God speaks about what will be God
-
and whatever God says will happen.
-
And Abraham, the father of many nations, gave birth to a man
-
named Isaac, who is the coveted child?
-
Not Ishmael. Ishmael is not God's covenant
-
child. He is a child of the flesh.
-
He is not a child of the Spirit. He is not ordained by God.
-
He goes on to say that a Isaac gave birth to a child named
-
Jacob. Jacob wrestles with the Lord in
-
Genesis and the Lord changes his name and his new name, instead
-
of Jacob's supplanter, becomes Israel.
-
Israel is a nation that is still in planet earth today.
-
It is the birth of the nation of Israel.
-
When God said Abraham make you a great nation, out of him came
-
the nation of Israel. So the Bible's about a king, his
-
Kingdom and his royal offspring, and he is demonstrating in the
-
earth that he will rule the nations, and he'll start with
-
one called Israel. He wants Israel to be the object
-
of every other government's desire.
-
So he tells Israel through his prophet Moses, as he delivers
-
them out of Egypt to take them over into the Promised land.
-
He gives them a recorded law. And the law is simply the
-
behavior and action that is necessary to demonstrate God's
-
Kingdom in the earth. And in Deuteronomy 28, he says,
-
This man, if you will obey my voice, because I am the one who
-
sits in the heavens and laughs, I am the one that is ruler over
-
everything. If you will obey what I say,
-
you'll be blessed coming in and blessed going out.
-
You'll be the head and not the tail.
-
You'll be above and not beneath. Everything you put your hand to
-
is going to prosper. I mean, you're going to be so
-
blessed in the field, in the city, your your livestock.
-
The the society was agricultural and he was saying every thing
-
agricultural that you do will be so blessed.
-
In fact the nation's you'll be so wealthy because I'm your king
-
that the nations will come to you to receive, but you will not
-
have to go to them. You want to bar die from them.
-
You will be the wealthiest nation on the planet.
-
And then he says in with anyone, tries to be your enemy.
-
When he comes up against you one way, I'll send him back in seven
-
ways. I'll run him down the road.
-
But he said, as my nation, in order to maintain this blessing,
-
you must obey my word because my word is life.
-
And remember what we said last week, the reason why you want to
-
obey him is 'cause he's life and anything that you, when you do
-
not obey, it's death. Last week we said your body
-
tells you without speaking that in order for you to live, you
-
require oxygen. Now it's not pure oxygen, it's a
-
mixture. But what that mixture is, you
-
require it. You could rebel and tell your
-
body. Don't tell me I have to inhale
-
this gas called oxygen and whatever the rest was, you know,
-
percentages. I guess I need to get that now
-
so I can quote it for you, right?
-
You could Google it or ChatGPT yourself and find out what we're
-
breathing. OK?
-
It's why you're living right now.
-
But many of you could walk in here with a tank of propane,
-
hook it up like a little mask, turn on your vow, and only allow
-
propane to go through your nostrils into your lungs.
-
I do not believe you'll make it out of service 'cause you can
-
rebel. And here's the thing, If sin
-
paid out as fast as you sucking propane, then you would quit
-
doing the choices that are contrary to God.
-
Because we'd be like, how foolish somebody would walk up
-
in here sucking on carbon monoxide, sucking on propane, I
-
mean, sucking on carbon dioxide. What you're releasing, you can't
-
even keep in you. You can't breathe that in and
-
sustain your life. Any other form other than what
-
we're inhaling now will bring death to us 'cause God created
-
our bodies to survive in the planet with this oxygen.
-
And in fact, it's our blood that's moving this oxygen
-
around. And so you can say I'm not going
-
to obey God, but what you're saying is I'm hooking myself up
-
to something that's going to kill me.
-
And that's the best way I can demonstrate it.
-
Because God's word is like, he's not telling you what to do
-
because you like I'm the guy. He's telling you because he's
-
like, I'm life and I want you to live.
-
I want you to live. I want you to have the fullest
-
life. I mean, I created you.
-
I know why you're living. I know why what your personal
-
and destiny is. I want you to have the fullness.
-
I'm not. I have no issue here because I'm
-
going to exist whether you do or not.
-
I'll be God whether you accept me or not.
-
I'll rule and reign whether you want to rule and reign or not.
-
You do not intimidate me, but I know your purpose.
-
This is why you want to say yes, Lord, I'm following you.
-
So Moses gives this law and we've treated the law so
-
negatively when the law was trying to reveal based upon how
-
man could live with God at the time, to live holy and righteous
-
and just not so that they could go to heaven and be in the in,
-
in the presence of God. We know that all that died in
-
the old covenant went to the grave, but they went to
-
Paradise. That means they could live
-
according to the law by faith in a way that they did not go where
-
the rich ruler went, but they went to a place called Paradise.
-
And in Paradise there was no torment in the grave there.
-
We got much to teach about that because our traditions have made
-
things so negative. Well, the law was there to show
-
that we couldn't. The law was there to show the
-
Kingdom of God. Man already knew he couldn't.
-
There was a way that seemed right, and they still died.
-
Then he gives them another way. He's trying to reveal himself
-
and his nature and his character, Not to prove them to
-
them they couldn't, but to continue to demonstrate to them
-
who he was. And we could not live the law in
-
such a way that we would be perfect before God, but we could
-
live it by faith enough that we didn't have to go to the place
-
beyond the abyss, but we could be in paradise and await that
-
day for when Jesus Christ himself would come and lead
-
captivity captive out. But we get over into Samuel
-
first Samuel chapter 8, verse 7. It says in the God said to
-
Samuel, listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that
-
they say to you. They have not rejected you, but
-
they have rejected me from being king over them.
-
Now this is the nation that God went to Moses and said go, let
-
my people go. I'm going to use you.
-
I'm want you to go to that nation.
-
I want you to tell that nation that I'm their king, I'm their
-
God. Pharaoh thinks he's a God.
-
I want him to know I am and he's worshipping false ones and I'm
-
going to have all that belief system and religion that they're
-
after Crumble. Every one of his curses was in
-
direct connection to an object Egypt worshipped.
-
He was letting him know. You thought your God could do
-
this. I crushed it.
-
You thought your God. I mean, they serve the God of
-
Rod, the sun God, and he blackened it out.
-
It was so dark they couldn't even see.
-
He's like, where's your God now? Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
And when the rest of Egypt dark, he leaves a light on.
-
And where Israel's at. Oh my gosh.
-
So God was a nation delivering a nation, went to a nation to
-
deliver a nation. And so he wants to take them
-
into a land flowing with milk and honey, where they could go
-
and they can live and prosper. And if they would obey them,
-
they'd be huge blessing to the world, to humanity, and showcase
-
the God and King of heaven. Yet these and Samuel did, just
-
like their forefathers who died in the wilderness.
-
They said we want to see a king, we want a man, we don't want God
-
anymore. And God acknowledged to Sammy,
-
He said, they've not rejected you, they've rejected me as king
-
over them. What's it say in Psalms 24/7 to
-
10? Lift up your heads, O gates, and
-
be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come
-
in. Who is the King of glory?
-
The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
-
Lift up your heads O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors,
-
that the King of glory may come in.
-
Who is the King of glory? The Lord of hosts.
-
He is King of glory. Psalms 47, seven says For God is
-
the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.
-
Yes, Jesus is the Lamb that was slain, but he's first king.
-
God is king, they rule and reign.
-
It's the Kingdom of God that is the the dominant, the theme of
-
the Bible, and it's about the restoration of this Kingdom back
-
to man through man with man for God.
-
That ultimately at the very end, if we get into Coloss
-
Corinthians, that Jesus, who has that authority will turn it
-
right back over to Dad. Wow, we know that Daniel talked
-
about this Kingdom that would come.
-
We talked about it last week in Daniel chapter 2, that a rock
Daniel 2 chapter mention
-
was made without hands and it would crush all of these
-
kingdoms that ever existed because the Bible's about a
-
king, his Kingdom, his royal offspring, Zechariah prophesied
-
in Chapter 9, verse 9. Again, we're just going through
-
the Bible. Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zod
-
shouting tribe, O daughter of Jerusalem, behold, your king is
-
coming to you. He is just an endowed with
-
salvation and mounted on a donkey, even a coat a full of a
-
donkey. Remember when Jesus says go into
-
town, I want you to get that donkey.
-
And if someone tries to stop you, tell them not that the
-
Savior needs it, but that the Lord has need of it.
-
And when they stop the disciples, hey, what are you
-
doing on time that that's not yours?
-
They said the Lord has need of it And they said, Oh, the Lord,
-
oh, he's supreme authority at his words.
-
You can have it. And Jesus sure enough came into
-
town on that donkey never been written, and they laid their
-
coats and they laid out palm branches, and they did all as he
-
was coming in triumphantly, the King of glory.
-
In Luke chapter 1 verses 30 to 33, the Angel said to her
-
concerning Mary said, do not be afraid Mary, for you have found
-
favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in
-
your womb and bear some, and you, and you shall name him
-
Jesus, and he will be great, and will be called the Son of the
-
Most High. And the Lord God will give him
-
what? The throne of his father David,
-
and he will reign over the House of Jacob Forever, and his
-
Kingdom will have no end. Isaiah prophesied about the
-
Kingdom. Jeremiah prophesied about the
-
Kingdom, Zechariah prophesied about the Kingdom, Samuel knew
-
about the Kingdom, The prophets of old all knew about the
-
Kingdom. Everybody's looking for the
-
king. The whole old covenant is about
-
the king is coming. The problem is they did not
-
realize that Jesus had to come as a suffering servant and 1st
-
pay a price, but he still was king nonetheless.
-
Even in the action of Savior. He was saving us because of his
-
kingship. Oh my gosh.
-
And so he comes, he the Angel tells Mary, that's the king in
-
your womb. Listen, Thrones are in kingdoms,
-
not religions. In Matthew chapter 2 verses one
Matthew 2 chapter mention
-
and two, it says now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea
-
in the days of Herod, the king Magi from the east, that's wise
-
men or astrologers from the east arrived in Jerusalem saying
-
where is he who was born king of the Jews?
-
We saw a star in the east and have come to worship him.
-
These guys came from where Babylon was.
-
These guys came from the place that Daniel prophesied about
-
this king coming. They have been waiting for
-
generations for this day and when the the star arrived on the
-
night he was birthday. It took them almost two years to
-
get to Jerusalem. And when they came into town and
-
met the king, King Herod, who was over Jerusalem, sat in that
-
place because of Pontius Pilate, the governor of Rome, home, and
-
he was ruling the people under the authority of the governor
-
Pilot. They said, where's the king of
-
the Jews? They did not come and look for
-
where's this new religion? Who's this guy that's going to
-
save the they're saying, where is the king?
-
This king that we have heard is coming and his Kingdom is going
-
to have no end. It was prophesied by this wise
-
man in our day called Daniel Belshazzar was his name given to
-
him by Nebuchadnezzar and said that this Kingdom was coming and
-
he would wipe out every other. And we want to put our
-
allegiance to the Kingdom that is a global takeover.
-
Oh my goodness. And we said last week, the devil
-
knows it's about a Kingdom In Luke chapter 4, remember, Jesus
Luke 4 chapter mention
-
was full of the Holy Ghost, goes into the wilderness and it says
-
the devil let him up in verse 5 and showed him all the kingdoms
-
of the world in the moment of time.
-
The devil said, I'll give all this domain and its glory to
-
you, for it's been handed over to me.
-
Where did the devil get it from Adam in the garden.
-
He did not steal it. Adam willfully gave the devil
-
his dominion over the earth. But Jesus has come to take it
-
back, to take it all back. Hallelujah.
-
And did he take it back? Glory to God, Hallelujah.
-
So in order, he's given him an alternative.
-
You can rule as long as you bow to me.
-
The devil wasn't asking for a song, He was asking for
-
submission to his rulership. But the Lord says it is written.
-
It is written, you shall worship the Lord thy God and him only.
-
There's only one that I'll bow and knee to.
-
There's only one that is over all and He is my Father and I'll
-
never bow to you. And what he didn't know is I'm
-
taking it anyway in Luke chapter 4 verse 43, and it says in Jesus
-
he said I must preach the Kingdom of God to the other
-
cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.
-
What was his purpose? Well, we know at first Johnny
-
said to destroy the works of the devil.
-
What's he destroying? He's destroying the devil's
-
dominion, his authority, his power that he received from
-
Adam. He said I'm going to take it
-
back. I'm going to destroy his works.
-
This act of rebellion and treason and the ability, we're
-
all man. All he can do is rebel against
-
God. Well, I'm going to strip him of
-
that. And if man will put his
-
allegiance in me and bow down to my kingship, then I'll put in
-
them a new spirit. And that spirit will want to
-
obey Dad. It won't be a rebellious, stiff
-
neck, hard hearted spirit anymore.
-
It'll be one that says, yes, Dad, ABBA, Father, I want to
-
yield to you. I want to submit to you.
-
It has access to the Holy Ghost. And we'll hear from heaven and
-
obey the plan and purpose of God and stay yielded to him always.
-
And from that point on, Matthew 417, it said that Jesus began to
-
preach and say repent for the Kingdom of heaven as at hand.
-
That's all he preached about. We preach about born again more
-
than we preach about the Kingdom.
-
In fact, most of the church in the Western world, and in the
-
Eastern for that matter, at this point, doesn't even know it's
-
about a Kingdom. They think it's about an exit
-
strategy for heaven when it's really about world domination.
-
Now, when I say that, I'm not saying that we're going to stay
-
on planet Earth forever now. I'm saying if you die, you'll be
-
present with the Lord and he's presently in heaven.
-
But if you don't think this is about a global takeover, you
-
cannot run a bumper sticker and say coexist because nothing will
-
exist but God. He's the only thing that will
-
exist and the only reason they can coexist now is because God
-
is a merciful God, is a compassionate and kind God, and
-
he will let you believe whatever you want to believe, but he will
-
hold you accountable to whatever you believe.
-
If you choose to not accept him and want some other religion, he
-
will allow you because he will not make you submit to him, but
-
you will submit at some point. Now unfortunately when that
-
submission comes, it'll be a separation for eternity.
-
This is good news. You know we're this has become
-
such a foreign concept that when you preach like this it seems
-
abnormal when the reality is it is the normal part of the Bible.
-
I mean just do your homework. The Bible's ate up with the
-
Kingdom. Look at every time Jesus
-
publicly ministered when he started the conversation.
-
He'll say the Kingdom of heaven is like this and the Kingdom of
-
God is like that. He will address questions.
-
And the only reason we know we need to be born again is because
-
a religious man came at 2:00 in the morning and said, you know,
-
you must be from God. His name was Nicodemus.
-
And Jesus said unless a man is born again, he shall not see the
-
Kingdom of God. He won't even enter it.
-
Right? And you have to be born again.
-
Why? Because we can't smuggle
-
ourselves in. You know what the legal
-
immigration policy for the Kingdom of God is?
-
It is being a born citizen of that Kingdom.
-
I can't buy my way in. My good works can't get my way
-
in. I must be born of God.
-
It's the only way into His Kingdom.
-
In fact, his border is so tight, it's a narrow gate and few get
-
in. Unfortunately, I believe
-
sometimes the Christian Church is preaching such a wide gate.
-
Now it's easy if you'll accept Christ, He's done all the work,
-
but it's your responsibility once.
-
Once you've accepted that work and it's the most powerful life,
-
it is not looking back and trying to have an old life.
-
Matthew 610, nine and 10 says pray then this way our Father,
-
whose father, who is in heaven, hallowed be your name, your
-
Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
-
He's our daddy. John chapter 18 verses 33 to 37.
-
Therefore Pilate entered some in Jesus and said, are you the king
-
of the Jews? Notice he didn't say, hey, are
-
you starting a new religion? I heard something called
-
Christianity was around. I mean, Christ is not even a
-
religious name. It is a title.
-
It is the Greek equivalent to the Hebrew word Messiah, which
-
is the anointed, one of his anointing.
-
And that's what you do to kings. And that's what happened to
-
Jesus the day he was baptized in the Jordan River.
-
God anointed him, and then he made a confession from heaven.
-
This is my beloved son in whom I will please.
-
It was him acknowledging Jesus's kingship.
-
So let me say Jesus Christ, we're saying Jesus the King and
-
not just the King, the eternal King, the King that will never
-
let go of his throne. Jesus answered.
-
Are you saying this on your own to others?
-
Tell you about me, Jesus not denying he's a king, Pilate
-
said. I'm not a Jew, am I?
-
Your nation, your own what? Your own nation, Chief Priest
-
delivered you over to me. Notice he recognizes Jesus's
-
nation before he recognized those, the religious part of the
-
nation. Jesus said my kingdom's not of
-
this world. If my Kingdom were of this
-
world, then my servants will be fighting so that I will not be
-
handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my Kingdom is not
-
of this realm. Now what Jesus is not saying is
-
that his Kingdom doesn't exist in the planet because he's
-
already said when you pray, pray this my king, your Kingdom come,
-
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
-
So Jesus be a liar if his Kingdom couldn't impact the
-
planet. What he's saying is, is my
-
Kingdom does not operate like worldly kingdoms.
-
He qualifies that by saying if if my Kingdom were of this world
-
or if it operated like this, then my servants would not let
-
me be handed over the Jews. In fact he could say I have an
-
Angel down here right now smoke the whole place.
-
Have you not read what happened in my nation when I sit down 1
-
Angel and smoke 185,000 Assyrians and Mennonites?
-
I mean his angels are special, special forces.
-
I mean Secret Service to the next level.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying? He goes on.
-
Then in verse 37, therefore Pilate says so you are king.
-
Jesus said you say correctly that I am a king.
-
Jesus doesn't deny because he knows he is.
-
Then he goes on and says, for this I have been born and for
-
this I've come into the world to testify the truth.
-
Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice.
-
What did Jesus say? He said unless a Colonel we fall
-
in the ground and die, it cannot produce after its own kind.
-
So Jesus died a king and he was raised a king.
-
So he can make you a king because he's the king of king.
-
Who are those kings? You are those kings.
-
We are a royal bloodline. We are put back into the royal
-
bloodline and given the Kingdom back to us.
-
Hallelujah. In Acts chapter one verse 3, the
-
death, burial, resurrection of Jesus has occurred and it says
-
to these He presented himself alive after his suffering by
-
many convincing proofs appearing to them over a period of 40
-
days. And Speaking of things, Jesus
-
did not change his message to say after he was raised and say,
-
go tell everybody they must be born again and ask them where
-
are they going to go when they die?
-
He didn't change his message. He said it's the Kingdom, the
-
Kingdom, the Kingdom, the Kingdom, the Kingdom.
-
And then when you're operating the Kingdom, people be like,
-
what is going on with you? How do you live this life?
-
How can you have this? How can you have joy in such
-
troubling times? How can it seems like everything
-
works out for you? How come it seems like this that
-
the other you say, well, let me tell you about my Kingdom and
-
then they're like man, I want to get in that Kingdom and say,
-
well, you must be born again. You must confess Jesus as Lord.
-
It goes on and says in Acts chapter 20 verses 25 to 27 of
-
the writer of over half of the New Testament.
-
His name was Paul. It says and now behold, I know
-
that all of you among whom I went about preaching the Kingdom
-
will no longer see my face. Therefore I testify you this day
-
that I am innocent of the blood of all men, for I did not shrink
-
from declaring you the whole purpose of God.
-
All of the letters that are written to the churches by Paul
-
is Paul outlining to those churches, this is the culture of
-
the Kingdom that you are now a part of.
-
He said you once lived in one domain.
-
Now you're in a different You have been transferred out of the
-
domain of darkness into the Kingdom of his beloved son.
-
This is how citizens live within the Kingdom.
-
So even Paul's letters to the churches are about the lifestyle
-
of the citizen of the king. In Hebrews chapter 12, verses
-
28, it says this. Therefore, since we have
-
received a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude
-
by which we may offer to God an accountable service with
-
reverence and awe. This is why we dominate in the
-
earth. This year we talked about the
-
church would dominate. The reason we dominate as a
-
people is because come on, church, help me out.
-
I mean, seriously, you watch movies longer than I'm preaching
-
right now. I mean, where's your national
-
excitement? I'm not going to say pride, your
-
national excitement about this Kingdom that you live in because
-
the world's going to hell in a handbasket.
-
In one sense, all the nations are going to pass away.
-
We are a part of the only one that will exist forever and
-
never has suffered loss and there has an endurance till the
-
end. If you can't even endure to the
-
end of a sermon. I have a heck of a time when the
-
great deceptions are running upon us like never before and we
-
are in that day right now. So we have to be very attentive
-
to remind ourselves we are not of this world.
-
We are in another Kingdom and that Kingdom cannot be shaken.
-
And our king cannot be shaken, and his word cannot be shaken,
-
and his word is undaunted by any tactic of the devil.
-
We're to dominate. First Timothy 615 says Let me
-
tell you this, it is a false humility for you to keep
-
dragging yourself around like you some sorry no good nothing.
-
You were a sorry, no good nothing.
-
We were all destined for the lake of fire but God.
-
And the minute I confessed him as Lord, he made me a new
-
person. Now I will not cheapen this new
-
person and call them a ragtag, a piece of junk, not worthy of
-
something. He's like, how can you say
-
you're not worthy when you're now in Christ?
-
I've made you worthy. I've given you my righteousness.
-
Act like a child of God, man. And great humility is when you
-
yield and say, I'm just going to be exactly what God said.
-
I am. I am what I am by the grace of
-
God. That is humility.
-
That is not arrogance, that is not pride.
-
That is I am what I am by the grace of God.
-
I'm doing what I'm doing today because of but God made me new
-
and gave me His spirit and allowed me to overcome things at
-
my word to His word because His word said and I said what his
-
word said. I have no sin consciousness.
-
I have Christ consciousness. I am conscious of the fact I'm a
-
child of God. I've been delivered from that,
-
that shame from that guilt from that low standard of living.
-
I've been delivered from that and there's no shame in me being
-
a say, but my God said I will win.
-
My God said I will try, my God said, and I will because he has
-
whoa, glory to God, he who is blessed.
-
First Timothy 6:15 and only sovereign ruler, the King of
-
kings and the Lord of Lords. Three more passages.
-
First Peter 29 But you are a chosen race, oh man, a royal
-
priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession.
-
Look what it does say. You are a chosen religion, you
-
are the chief religion, you are the greatest religion, you are
-
the only religion. No, you are the chosen.
-
Now listen, I understand religion by definition is a
-
belief system and pure and unfiled religion which is only
-
mentioned in James and then one other place.
-
So religion is not even a big word God used.
-
But what he was saying is if you have a belief system in the
-
Kingdom, then there should be some demonstrations of that
-
belief system. And you would take care of the
-
poor and the widow, the orphans and the widows.
-
But we're not chasing a religion.
-
We're yielded to a Kingdom. He says this in Revelation 21.
-
Again, going to the back of the book.
-
Again, we've gone through multiple scriptures and the city
-
has no need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the
-
glory of God is illuminated and it's lamp is the Lamb, and the
-
nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will
-
bring their glory into it. This is after the catching away
-
the church, after the millennial reign of Christ, after the
-
devils let go for a time and deceives the nation.
-
It's after that battle that he is then cast into the lake of
-
fire with a false prophet and the beast, which are just other
-
nations. And then it's after the great
-
white Throne judgment, and all those who did not call on the
-
name of the Lord to be saved will be cast into the lake of
-
fire, which is a second death. Then there'll be a new heaven
-
and a new earth. And he will that new Jerusalem
-
will come down out of heaven to the earth, and God will be among
-
men. And notice the kings of the
-
earth who are US will bring their glory into this new
-
Jerusalem. That's why Matthew 2414 and
-
we're living in this day says this, this gospel, not the
-
gospel to be born again, but the gospel of the Kingdom shall be
-
preached into the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and
-
then the end will come. Yes, you must be born again.
-
But why? It's not to go to heaven when
-
you die. It's so you can become a child
-
of God today. The gospel is not about a
-
destination after you die. It's about a destiny on earth.
-
Now, as a son of God, heaven comes as long as the Lord
-
remains there. And I'm going up to the heaven
-
one way or the other, either leaving my skin suit or I'm
-
changing the moment in the twinkling of an eye and I blast
-
up out of here at that trumpet. Either way, I'm going to go, but
-
I will return with Him. I'll be with him during the
-
millennial reign, and then I will stay with Him on this new
-
heaven and new earth. Hallelujah.
-
And if He deploys me to the ends of the universe on an assignment
-
for Him, so be it. But I'll be present with God and
-
it seems like he'll be present on the earth a lot and I'll be
-
with Him. And I'm very thankful for that.
-
Now, I know it's a little bit later, but you know, when you go
-
through the whole Bible, it takes a little time.
-
And again, if you want to, there are plenty of churches that will
-
stay on a 30 minute clock for you.
-
If that's all you can endure, you can go and be a part of
-
those churches. But we're here to raise
-
disciples, and if you are going to be a force for the Kingdom of
-
God, it's going to take a little bit more than two or three
-
scriptures and a bunch of anecdotal stories.
-
And I don't apologize for that, CJ.
-
You know, I don't apologize for that because we'll send our kids
-
to two hour practices multiple times during the week and then
-
won't let them come to youth service on Wednesday night
-
'cause they're tired. I'm talking to people in the
-
camera, not here, right? No Kingdom's the most part.
-
Seek first.
