  1. Turn over to Genesis chapter 1. Today, all across our nation in

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  2. the world, there are going to be a lot of people ministering

  3. along the lines of how I'm going to minister today, meaning the

  4. subject matter. It tends to be traditional that

  5. we would cover the death, burial, and resurrection of

  6. Jesus in what the United States and other parts of the world

  7. consider Easter. Now we do know that Easter has

  8. been hijacked by a Bunny in most places and that there are many

  9. people that will only see this day as a Bunny.

  10. And eggs or Reese's peanut butter cups formed in the image

  11. of a rabbit of which I would eat because my God is bigger than

  12. that Bunny rabbit. The point is, is that we call

  13. this Holy Week and it should put us in remembrance.

  14. But the question is, is why are we remembering if the

  15. remembrance doesn't change us? What's the point in remembering

  16. if we just continue to do what we do?

  17. So many will be ministering along these lines without

  18. answering the actual question why They'll they'll get to 1

  19. aspect, but they'll not answer the full context of why Jesus

  20. came. Yes, it is true.

  21. Jesus came because man fell. Man became a Sinner and he came

  22. to die for our sins. That is a true statement.

  23. But that's not the only reason why he came.

  24. And the reason why I say that is because God is the creator of

  25. heaven and earth, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3

  26. and one, they created everything that exists.

  27. Do you know that there is a heaven that exists, although we

  28. cannot see it, but it is real? You can go there.

  29. Should you qualify, you could stand before the throne of God,

  30. of which all will stand before some seat, whether it's the seat

  31. before Jesus Christ to the Saints and their rewards for how

  32. they live for Him after they called on His name.

  33. Or the Great White Throne Judgment where the Father will

  34. open up books and have to judge the dead and cast them into the

  35. prison system of the Kingdom called the Lake of Fire.

  36. One of the other. They'll see it.

  37. There is angels. They exist.

  38. In fact, they're in this room right now, and whether you can

  39. see them or not, does it make you more spiritually discerning?

  40. Because the Bible says that we can entertain angels unaware.

  41. So ain't seeing angels does not mean you're more spiritually

  42. mature. But I'm thankful for those who

  43. have seen them, for those who have had encounters.

  44. I'm thankful that the Lost have even seen angels, for there have

  45. been many accounts of missionaries that have been

  46. attacked in other countries where before their enemy was to

  47. take them off, they dropped their weapons and ran and later

  48. on ran into those individuals at another time.

  49. And they asked them to question why did you run?

  50. And they say, well, we saw these big people on the outside

  51. standing and when they frightened us and we ran, so

  52. they saw angels. Angels revealed themselves in

  53. that moment to save God's covenant people.

  54. So God created the angels, He created seraphim, He created

  55. cherubims. You say, why are you saying all

  56. this? Well if you go to Jude chapter 1

    Jude 1 chapter mention

  57. only 1 chapter in Jude verse 6, it says the angels that left

  58. their proper abode are now in chains waiting for the judgment

  59. of that great day. Which tells me that God created

  60. a species of being that has no ability to be redeemed, no

  61. ability to be redeemed. So then the question is why is

  62. man redeemed and angels are not because if God only came because

  63. we we fail, we send well then why did he not die for those

  64. angels? It's obvious that God has not

  65. said something concerning the angels that he has said

  66. concerning man. And This is why Jesus came in

  67. Genesis chapter 1 starting in the beginning, God created the

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  68. heavens and the earth. But in verse 26, as you know, it

  69. says this thing God said let us make before man existed.

  70. God said let us make man in our image according to our and let

  71. them have dominion or rule over the fish of the sea, over the

  72. birds of the sky, right over the earth, over every creeping thing

  73. that creeps on the earth. God created man in his own

  74. image. In the image of God.

  75. He created him, male and female. He created them.

  76. So God created a species in his image that was of his likeness,

  77. from his own DNA, from his own spirit.

  78. He created our spirit. We are a different spirit than

  79. those of the angels, but more importantly, He spoke our

  80. existence. Now why is this important?

  81. Because God does not say things haphazardly, flippantly, off the

  82. cuff. He does not say things He does

  83. not mean, and He does not say things He will not fulfill.

  84. So when God says let us make man in our image according to our

  85. likeness, let them rule over the fish of the sea, let them have

  86. dominion. Let them rule in this realm

  87. called earth like I rule in this realm called heaven.

  88. I'm over him, but I give him the management, the rulership, the

  89. dominion, the governing, the oversight of that planet, of its

  90. systems, of how it runs. And if he listens to my voice

  91. and obeys me and hears my words, then life springs from him all

  92. the time because I'm life, He's in my image.

  93. I want man to be like me. And that's God's word concerning

  94. us. Genesis chapter 2.

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  95. It takes this man and puts him in a garden.

  96. And he says to him, now Adam, he said, the Lord God took the man,

  97. put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it, to keep it.

  98. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, From any tree of

  99. the garden you may eat freely, but from the tree of the

  100. knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat.

  101. For the day you eat you will, surely.

  102. And we've said this many times, but it bears repeating because

  103. we have quite a few guests. If Adam had never eaten the

  104. fruit, where would he be today? He'd be right here in this

  105. planet. See, it's hard for us to

  106. conceive this planet without sin, yet it existed without sin.

  107. God did not make Adam eat the fruit.

  108. God did not force him to eat it. God gave him more opportunities

  109. to eat other fruit, but of one tree he says do not eat.

  110. For the day you eat, you'll surely die.

  111. And for the first day he was alive, the second day, the

  112. second year, the third year it doesn't.

  113. We don't know exactly how much time passed.

  114. We do know it's less than 115 years because that was the age

  115. of Adam when Seth was born, and that was after the death of

  116. Abel, his son by Cain, of which the fall has already taken

  117. place. So in less than 115 years, man

  118. has released his dominion. In essence, man became separated

  119. from God. Sin is simply disobeying God.

  120. When we say death dead is not ceasing to exist, it means to be

  121. separated from God. So when God says when you eat

  122. this fruit will be separated, you'll have you'll experience

  123. spiritual death, you'll no longer be like me because God

  124. does not go against his word. God never goes against his word.

  125. I'm going to harp on that one more time.

  126. God never goes against his word. Oh, the love of God is amazing.

  127. He's such a righteous God. He's a keeper of his word.

  128. I said he's a keeper of his word.

  129. And so man is in the garden. You may say, why in the world

  130. did he put a tree there anyway? I mean, God's all knowing.

  131. Doesn't he know he's going to do this?

  132. Just because God knows it doesn't mean he made him.

  133. But more importantly, God cannot make you love him.

  134. God cannot make you obey Him willingly.

  135. But God can't place things in your path for you to demonstrate

  136. it. Because think about it, just for

  137. a moment. And we're in the business of

  138. helping you think again. We are here to help you repent,

  139. change your thinking. I'm not here to give you a

  140. discourse for you to believe and eat.

  141. Period. I'm here for you to go, huh?

  142. Because God has answers. And many of us, if we don't

  143. watch out, will become so religiously brainwashed that

  144. we'll make statements that aren't even in line with

  145. Scripture. So it is our assignment to help

  146. you become a critical thinker because then the devil cannot

  147. deceive you anymore because you say no.

  148. It is written. And we know what the Bible

  149. actually says. So again, it says God made man

  150. in his image. He formed him out of the dust of

  151. the earth. Breathe into his nostrils.

  152. The breath of life is Adam at this point without sin.

  153. Is he in the image of God? How about Eve when he pulls the

  154. the rib from his side and creates this woman and brings

  155. him to act, brings her to Adam. And he said, man recognize the

  156. bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh.

  157. A man shall leave his father, mother and become one flesh.

  158. And they haven't even began. They haven't even started to be

  159. a father and a mother yet. So he has a concept beyond his

  160. experience because he has the knowledge of God and he is of

  161. the nature of God. So it's God, Adam and Eve in the

  162. garden, no sin, zero sin in the earth.

  163. In essence, you could say it's heaven on earth, but it's not

  164. heaven, it is earth. I didn't call it that, the Lord

  165. did. Amen.

  166. And so there's no sin, yet God is saying, how do I know Adam

  167. loves me? I just need him.

  168. What did Jesus say? If you love me, you'll keep my

  169. word. And so he gives them this tree

  170. that is his. Don't eat it.

  171. You have way more options to eat other fruit.

  172. This one's mine. And if you love me, if you love

  173. me. Because he knows he's of his

  174. nature, but he needs his love demonstrated towards him.

  175. And what does Adam do? Well, Genesis chapter 3, where

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  176. most of us kick off on today's message, but we must get the

  177. back story. Genesis chapter 3.

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  178. Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast to the field

  179. which the Lord God had made and said to the woman, indeed, has

  180. God said, You shall not eat from the tree of the garden?

  181. The woman said to the serpent, from the fruit of the tree of

  182. the garden we may eat, but from the fruit of the tree which is

  183. in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat from

  184. it or touch it, or you'll die. And the serpent said to her, You

  185. will surely not die. Now in essence the serpent's

  186. saying, Listen what you think you know about God, you don't

  187. know. He goes on to say, For God knows

  188. because I know him, and he knows who God is.

  189. He used to be somewhere else and he has the same ambition on

  190. earth as he did in heaven. And you can read about it in

  191. Isaiah chapter 14 where he wanted to exalt his throne above

    Isaiah 14 chapter mention

  192. the Most High. He wanted to take over God's

  193. Kingdom realm in heaven. But Jesus said, I saw Satan fall

  194. light, lightning from heaven. When he rebelled with the angels

  195. who left their proper abode, he cast them, kicked them out, and

  196. they were gone like lightning. That's how powerful our Father

  197. is. That's how weak our enemy is.

  198. He goes on to say, for God knows that the day you eat it, your

  199. eyes will be open and he knows they'll be open.

  200. That's true statement. And you'll be like God, knowing

  201. good and evil. Here's the thing.

  202. God just didn't want Adam and Eve to know evil, didn't want

  203. them experience, didn't want them to experience anything

  204. outside the life of God. It says when the woman saw that

  205. the tree was good for food, for food.

  206. And this is the problem. A lot of times we start to live

  207. by sight instead of by the word of God.

  208. We start making decisions about what we see instead of what

  209. we've heard and what we're hearing from God.

  210. And that was a delight to the eyes and that it was desirable

  211. to make one wise. So she thought she took its

  212. fruit. 8 And she also gave to her husband, and he ate.

  213. And when he ate, verse 7, then the eyes of both of them were

  214. what opened, and they knew that they were naked.

  215. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves

  216. loin coverings. And they heard the sound of the

  217. Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, which

  218. was his custom. And the man and his wife hid

  219. themselves from the presence of the Lord among the trees of the

  220. garden. Then God called to man and said,

  221. Where are you? And that's the same question

  222. he's asking today. Where are you?

  223. Where are you now? We know that God's all knowing.

  224. It's not like he doesn't know where they're at.

  225. What he is saying is what position are you in?

  226. Now obviously he begins to have a little conversation with him

  227. of which he converses with Adam, moves over to Eve, and then gets

  228. to the root of the temptation, the one who enticed man, but it

  229. was still man's decision. The temptation has no effect if

  230. you don't act on it, but Adam acted on it.

  231. And if we drop down to verse 15, it says God then says to this

  232. serpent, I will put enmity. Now he's not talking to a

  233. serpent, He's talking to the spirit behind.

  234. He said I will put enmity between you and the woman,

  235. between your seed and her seed. You shall bruise.

  236. He shall bruise you on the head and you shall bruise him on the

  237. hill. Now who we talking about?

  238. OK, this is Anchor Faith Church, right?

  239. OK, who we talking about here? Jesus.

  240. This is obviously talking about Jesus now.

  241. This is why Jesus has to come, because God does his word.

  242. Let me help pull you out of fantasy.

  243. God is obligated to his own word.

  244. If he's given dominion to man, Adam, who's his son, without

  245. sin, then God himself as God cannot take it back.

  246. But God can come as a man who has legal right to that dominion

  247. and take back what Adam gave to the devil.

  248. That's why in the Luke chapter 4 account of the temptation of

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  249. Christ, that when the devil took Jesus up to a high pinnacle and

  250. showed him not religions, but all the kingdoms, all the

  251. domain, the authority, the power of government influence over the

  252. all over the world. He said all of this domain I

  253. will give to you, for it has been handed over to me.

  254. Well, who handed it over to him? His name was Adam.

  255. So if a man gave the dominion away, it will require a man to

  256. take that dominion back. So Jesus comes not just because

  257. you've sinned. He came for a even higher cause

  258. than you, and that is to fulfill My Father's word concerning you,

  259. that you will have dominion. And in the current state of man

  260. after the fall, Adam did not fall from heaven, and Adam did

  261. not lose the religion, Christianity.

  262. He lost the dominion his Father had given him to reign on the

  263. earth as he reigns in heaven. And he says, this is my plan for

  264. man, my idea. It's not my idea.

  265. It's God's idea. God's idea for man was never for

  266. us to be broke. Beat down, disgusted,

  267. struggling, scrapping, dying, begging.

  268. That was hurt, sick, busted. That was never his plan for us.

  269. And for his way to fulfill us, to get us back in that position,

  270. it requires a man to come. So Jesus says I love you, but I

  271. love the will of my dad more. And it's because of that reason

  272. I'm coming. And through the process of time,

  273. we're waiting for a virgin to show up that has favor with God.

  274. Think about it. God could have with the first

  275. daughter of Adam and Eve sent the seed, but he didn't because

  276. God is way more wise than we are.

  277. In fact, when this thing concludes with the new heaven

  278. and the new earth, right? And everyone who has disobeyed

  279. God and has nothing wants nothing to do with his lordship

  280. or cast into the lake of fire of their own free will.

  281. God will restore all things. God will have tried man in every

  282. possible situation and scenario to show that he never would have

  283. lived up. God is the only just God and

  284. ruler of all. Of which all of us through the

  285. various dispensations will willingly say you are Lord,

  286. you're King of all, and we bow to you, we honor you, we obey

  287. you because we want to, because your life.

  288. Remember we said this couple weeks ago just to help get it in

  289. context, because people would say, why in the world would I

  290. have to do what Jesus says? I think there's a way that I can

  291. do it. It may be right.

  292. Well, the Bible says there's a way that seems right to a man,

  293. but then he analyzes death. But how about what if your

  294. right's not my right? And what if my right's right and

  295. your right's wrong? Well, you're wrong because my

  296. right's right, because my right's his right.

  297. I don't even have a right. It's his right.

  298. Just to let you know, his ray is right.

  299. He is the way actually, OK, but it's like this all of our bodies

  300. and I am not going to break down the oxygen that we because

  301. there's a lot going on in our atmosphere besides just oxygen.

  302. But we all can't accept the fact that you're breathing oxygen to

  303. a degree, OK, And you do this because your body's telling you

  304. this is how you're living. You can rebel against your body

  305. and say, don't tell me to breathe oxygen to live.

  306. I choose propane. Propane is my gas.

  307. That's how I roll. And you could come in here with

  308. a propane tank as I'll be opening up some propane later

  309. today, not to sniff it, but to grill with it.

  310. All right. In fact, I've tasked my son with

  311. grilling. I'm just going to watch.

  312. With that being said, you could come in with a mask full of gas

  313. called propane and begin to breathe it in rebellion to your

  314. body, telling you that you must have oxygen.

  315. Now all of us know the end of your story.

  316. You're going to die. Your body's going to shut down.

  317. It's not going to work, right? So really you're fighting

  318. against that, which is telling you by creation.

  319. See, you may be a free will, but your body tells you what you

  320. breathe because someone ordered it that way.

  321. Someone ordained it that way. And if you rebel against that,

  322. then you're willfully saying I don't want life.

  323. I want a different gas that will cause me harm.

  324. You can go to propane, you can go to helium, You can go to all

  325. the other types of gases out there.

  326. Some will get rid of you quicker than others.

  327. Some will make you talk funny before you die.

  328. But nonetheless, in fact, the actual gas you exhale, if you

  329. breathe it in too much, you'll die from it called carbon

  330. dioxide. So when I say I want to do what

  331. my father says, it's because it's life.

  332. To not do it is sucking propane and I'm not here to die.

  333. My father has words of life. Are you hearing me?

  334. So we see that God said I need to bring my seed in the woman so

  335. that he can crush you in order for me to have what I've said

  336. concerning man in order for man to have the ability to be back

  337. in the position. I have spoken concerning him.

  338. I won't make him, but I will give him the opportunity.

  339. Now get this, everything God has said concerning what will happen

  340. to those who disobey will bring death, and He will fulfill even

  341. death's price. This is why we're without

  342. excuse, because everything done in disobedience, even the world,

  343. the Word will say, I'll fulfill the word concerning that.

  344. I'll take it on, I'll pay its price, I will fulfill its cost.

  345. It doesn't go away without payment and the blood will be

  346. the payment. So for this to happen, Jesus

  347. must be stripped. Let's look at Matthew chapter 21

    Matthew 21 chapter mention

  348. starting to verse No, excuse me, let's look in Philippians

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  349. chapter 2 verses six to seven. It says Who, although being

  350. essentially one with God, and in the form of God possessing the

  351. fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this

  352. equality with God a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, but

  353. stripped himself of all privileges and rightful dignity,

  354. so as to assume the guise of a servant slave, in that he became

  355. like men, and was born a human being.

  356. We know this verse, Isaiah Chapter 9, verse 6, it says that

    Isaiah 9:6

  357. God that a child will be born, a son will be given son's not born

  358. because the son always existed, but a child's born cause a

  359. body's needed to house the spirit of the Son.

  360. And it goes on to say and the government shall rest on his

  361. shoulders. And it says there'll be no end

  362. to the increase of his government.

  363. He will accomplish this task because Jesus is coming back.

  364. Or Jesus came so that the dominion that Adam gave away, he

  365. lost, he relinquished. Jesus gets back so that we can

  366. be back in that standing. But in order to do that, He has

  367. to strip himself and come in the form of man.

  368. The Bible tells us that Jesus discovered himself through the

  369. Scripture. In essence, when He came through

  370. the womb of Mary, the Son of God had to discover who He was.

  371. He was no longer all knowing because He was in the form of

  372. man. And in order for him to discover

  373. himself, he began to read the word that was given the law and

  374. the prophets. And as he read them, because he

  375. was without sin, he was he was that which was pinned, He's the

  376. word. He began to realize that's me,

  377. that's me, that's me. And don't you know, Mary was

  378. saying, Son, I'm here to tell you that an Angel showed up and

  379. that's why I got prayed to you. I, you're the Messiah, Son,

  380. you're the one. Now it's one thing for Mama to

  381. tell you. It's another thing to discover

  382. yourself in the written word. And so mom at a young age told

  383. him and would speak to him and then he would go through the,

  384. the, the, the, the law when the prophets and begin to see

  385. himself and discover himself. This is why in the end, when he

  386. was walking with two other people, he was like, do I need

  387. to show you what was written about me 'cause it's been all

  388. the stuff you've been reading the whole time.

  389. You didn't know I had to come and suffer first.

  390. You didn't know there was a reason first.

  391. You missed the first act, but the end's coming.

  392. I said, but the end's coming. And so he stripped himself of

  393. the privileges right and dignity so as to assume the guise of a

  394. servant, a slave that in becoming like men.

  395. This is why Jesus is very powerful statement was this I am

  396. the son of man. This is why he declared that now

  397. the demons say you're the Son of God, but Jesus will say I'm the

  398. son of man and the reason he said that he says because I'm

  399. not here illegally. I've been sent by my father

  400. legally into this realm as a man.

  401. Now he's all God, but he's also all man God in the fact he's

  402. life and he is not going to sin because he's going to please his

  403. father. Don't you know he has the pages

  404. of his brother Adam? That if you read the genealogies

  405. in the Gospel, it says Adam the Son of God.

  406. Now that doesn't mean he's God in the flesh, but he is God's

  407. son and he was God's son without sin and so was Eve.

  408. However, Jesus is God in the flesh and he says Adam

  409. disobeyed. He said I only do what my father

  410. says. Whatever my father says I do.

  411. I do not speak on my own initiative, but what my father

  412. says I do and the things that I'm doing, I've only heard from

  413. my father because I'm not going to fail like everybody else

  414. that's been wearing this flesh suit to do a word contrary to

  415. what Father has said, but he stripped himself of his God

  416. realm and put on man. John chapter 17 verse 5 says

    John 17:5

  417. this. He said, now Father, glorify me

  418. together with yourself, with the glory which I had with you

  419. before the world. So there was a place Jesus was

  420. in, but he's not in right now because he stripped himself of

  421. that glory. Now we got a little taste of

  422. some of that glory on the Mount of Transfiguration, and it

  423. caused the apostle to say, let us build temples for you all

  424. right now, right? However, that wasn't the point.

  425. The next thing that Jesus was stripped of was his clothes.

  426. Look at this in Matthew chapter 27, verse 27 to 31, it says then

    Matthew 27:27–31

  427. the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Petorium and

  428. gather the whole Roman cohort around him.

  429. They stripped him and put a garlic robe or scarlet robe on

  430. him, and after twisting crown together a crown of thorns, they

  431. put it on his head, and they read in his sight in his right

  432. hand, and they knelt down before him and mocked him, saying Hail

  433. King of the Jews. They spat on him and took the

  434. Reed and began to beat him on the head.

  435. After that they mocked him and they took the scarlet robe off

  436. him and they put his own garment back on and led him away to be

  437. crucified. Isaiah 50 and verse 6 says this,

  438. the amplified I gave my back to the smiters and my cheeks to

  439. those who plucked off the beard, off the hair.

  440. I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

  441. John chapter 19 verses 23 and 24 says in the soldiers when they

    John 19:23

  442. had crucified Jesus, He's on the cross now.

  443. They took his garments. Well, they obviously were not in

  444. on his body anymore and made four parts, one share for each

  445. soldier. And also the tunic, the long

  446. shirt like undergarment, but the tunic was seamless woven.

  447. That's what royalty wore. Very expensive garment, so they

  448. said to one another, let us not tear it, but let us cast lots

  449. and decide whose it will be. This was to fulfill the

  450. scripture. They parted my garments among

  451. them, and for my clothing they cast lots.

  452. So the soldiers did them. See in Roman culture public

  453. nakedness equaled maximum humiliation, especially for non

  454. Romans. And this guy has made himself

  455. out to be a king. In fact, his own people have

  456. stood before Pilate and said we have no king but Caesar.

  457. In fact, it was the kingship that caused Pilate to go ahead

  458. and execute him. For the religious of the Jews

  459. came and says, if you release this man, you are no friend of

  460. Caesar, for he makes himself out to be a king.

  461. And, and Pilate had the right then say, well, I cannot have a

  462. letter go before the king that I let another person parade around

  463. and act like their king. There's only one king in this

  464. area that we dominate, that we have control over, that we have

  465. power over, and that is Rome and Rome alone and Caesar is the

  466. only king. That's why Pilate had it put

  467. Jesus, King of the Jews, so you would know that they wanted to

  468. humiliate him. So not only was he stripped of

  469. his heavenly glory, he was stripped of all of his clothing

  470. and exposed. And some believe that maybe a

  471. type and shadow that takes us back to the garden of when sin

  472. entered and Adam and Eve knew they were naked.

  473. See it was in a garden that dominion was lost.

  474. It was in another garden called the Garden of Gethsemane that

  475. the dominion was was to be restored because Jesus said not

  476. my will, but your will be done. Are you hearing me?

  477. So Jesus is stripping represents total humiliation and

  478. identification with with humanity shame.

  479. This is one of the greatest examples of shame, exposure and

  480. rejection. And for it to go even worse, the

  481. greatest humiliation is that three are being crucified.

  482. They placed him in the middle to say he was the worst of them

  483. all. And through his life he

  484. experienced another stripping and it was a stripping of

  485. dignity and honor while he walked among people.

  486. Matthew 1223 and 25 says all the crowds were amazed and saying

  487. this man cannot be the son of David Kenny.

  488. But when the Pharisees, that's the religious heard this, they

  489. said this man casts out demons only by bells above the rulers

  490. of demons. So they said his work was

  491. demonic. They were giving, they were into

  492. character assassination. They wanted this guy who was

  493. doing the works of God to get people to question whether he

  494. was actually acting on God's behalf.

  495. They slandered him. They gossiped about him.

  496. They got him back rooms and talked about him.

  497. They made excuses. They assembled with others and

  498. say he can't be that, he can't be this.

  499. But they were threatened by his mere existence of righteousness

  500. and godliness, but all the while spreading lies, trying to create

  501. within their own nation reasonable doubt of the

  502. character of this man. And day by day they were

  503. stripping him of the dignity and honor and integrity he deserved

  504. as the Son of God in the flesh. Psalm 69, verse 7 says, Because

    Psalms 69:7

  505. for your sake I have bore reproach, dishonor has covered

  506. my face. Then verse 9, for zeal for the

  507. house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach

  508. me have fallen on me. In essence, not only did He

  509. literally take on our sin, but before He actually took on our

  510. sin, because He was actually righteous, the man who knew no

  511. sin became our sin, but before he actually took it on, people

  512. were taking it on. In their mind, He was that which

  513. He was not. And every time they saw Jesus,

  514. they would question His motive, why He was doing what He was

  515. doing, how He was doing what He was doing.

  516. And then telling people, I don't believe it's all like that.

  517. No, it's not really that way. You know, that seems like a good

  518. act. Sure, that person was healed,

  519. but he used the devil to do it. I'm sure someone said he just

  520. wants your money. I'm sure somebody said that

  521. probably was Judas, though. He just wants your money.

  522. We need another offering because we know where Judas's heart was

  523. at. Verse 12 says those who sit in

  524. the gate talk about me and I am the song of drunkards.

  525. This is talking about you, Jesus just walking into a community.

  526. There was a wave of accusations. He was daily being stripped of

  527. honor and dignity in the eyes of the crowds, even though he's

  528. working the miraculous. The religious don't care whether

  529. you think he's a prophet. They cannot have you think he's

  530. the king. They cannot have you believe

  531. he's the Messiah. He's the anointed one, the one

  532. to come because they them too would have to bow, Matthew 27

  533. verses 1412 to 14 says. And while he was being accused

  534. by the chief priests and elders, he did not answer.

  535. And Pilate said, do you not hear how many things they testify

  536. against you? And he did not answer him with

  537. regard to every single charge, to even a single charge.

  538. Excuse me? So the governor was quite

  539. amazed. You know what, you ought to be

  540. amazed when you hear somebody being talked about, but the

  541. person won't actually say something about it.

  542. That's being the accused. Maybe the one being accused is

  543. the one that's actually right. Mark chapter 10 verse 34.

    Mark 10:34

  544. And they mocked him and they spit on him, and they whipped

  545. him and put him to death. But after three days he will

  546. rise again from death. Matthew 2667 they spat in his

  547. face and struck him with their fists and someone slapped him in

  548. the face. They say prophecy to us Jesus

  549. who did this. Now can we take a moment before

  550. I move forward? Because this moment's really

  551. important. This moment has never been

  552. caught on film. No one has ever accurately

  553. showed the humiliation of Jesus when he was stripped of His

  554. glory. It's difficult for us to

  555. understand because he was a worker of miracles, man.

  556. I mean, he already outshined humans.

  557. But really what Jesus was showing us is this is how you

  558. used to live. This was the dominion you had.

  559. Now why do I say that every miracle Jesus performed was

  560. within the dominion Adam lost? Think about his miracles on more

  561. than one occasion he dealt with fish.

  562. What was Adam's dominion over the fish of the So when he says

  563. throw your net on the other side, When he says put your line

  564. in and get tax for me when he takes 5 loaves and two fish that

  565. are dead in anyone else's hand. But the Creator can give life to

  566. the molecules, and even the dead have to deal with the judge, the

  567. righteous 1 He can speak over that fish and it multiply, and

  568. he did that twice. Plants are of the earth.

  569. He could talk to fig trees because they're on the earth.

  570. This is no issue plants he had dominion.

  571. This is why anyone that suffers from addiction from leaves,

  572. whether those are tobacco leaves or marijuana leaves, you should

  573. never have a plant have dominion over you or any other drug that

  574. comes from a plant for that matter.

  575. God never intended for a plant to rule you and control you and

  576. control your pocketbook and control your relationships and

  577. control when you get into bed with someone whether you know

  578. them or not. I'm preaching better than you

  579. shot. But that's OK because this thing

  580. we're in is not a one way ticket to heaven.

  581. It's a dominion status. It's an understanding that God's

  582. come to fulfill His word concerning you, that God has to

  583. keep his word concerning you. And Jesus said the dominion I'm

  584. walking in is the same dominion that Adam had before he ever

  585. lost it. Winds and waves are of the

  586. earth. He can speak to those things.

  587. You have way more authority than you know.

  588. But because we're stuck in sin consciousness and failure and

  589. how much we've done wrong, we don't want to accept that we

  590. could live a little bit higher here.

  591. We wait till we go there. And the devil wants you to wait

  592. till you go there, because if you start.

  593. Functioning like Jesus in the earth, of which he said you

  594. would, of which he said that the same works that I do, they will

  595. do. We go see this, but before we

  596. go, I just want you to go back in time with me and let's

  597. pretend this pole is the cross. I think many of us have been in

  598. church way too long. He was stripped everywhere he

  599. walked. He talked about him, posted on

  600. social media about him, ran him down, attacked him constantly,

  601. and then when the time came, the attack came and they took great

  602. pleasure in his punishment. You kings.

  603. And you know what? If it's only about the

  604. forgiveness of your sin, then Jesus should not have to take

  605. the beating. But it's not just about your

  606. sins, it's about another thing that came with sin.

  607. It was called disease that attacks your flesh.

  608. And that's why it says by his see he needed enact the

  609. healthcare system of his Kingdom to be able to get and play.

  610. I don't know how you can accept one symptom without a fight.

  611. I understand they can come, but they, they, they got to fight

  612. on. They got to fight a fake.

  613. You cannot stay on this covenant suit.

  614. It's not immortal, but it does not have to bow to sickness and

  615. disease. Because my Lord and King, He

  616. healed all who were oppressed of the devil and the stripes he

  617. took on his back was not A warm up was not to get him loose.

  618. It was to take on our sicknesses as disease so that we could

  619. accomplish the will of our Father.

  620. He was beat, stripped, scourged, mocked.

  621. We go come into church services and have this like little

  622. emotional experience. These people were so ruthless

  623. that they saw the deformity of someone that the Bible declares.

  624. He did not even look human anymore, but they loved seeing

  625. every bit of it. And if we do not put that image

  626. in our mind, then it allows Wednesday night service to be a

  627. complacent time for us, and next Sunday service to be a

  628. complacent time for us, and the next service a complacent time

  629. because we have forgotten the price that was paid.

  630. We forgotten. And why did he do it?

  631. First Timothy 2, four through 6. Who desires all men to be saved

  632. and to come to the knowledge of truth.

  633. For there is one God, one mediator also between God and

  634. men, The man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for the

  635. testimony given at the proper time.

  636. So has he made a ransom for all. But we'll all be ransomed.

  637. Not all will receive that which has been ransom for them.

  638. He was stripped of glory, stripped of his clothes which

  639. humiliated him, stripped of his dignity as honor.

  640. But all that stripping gave him the power to strip.

  641. So Jesus had a little bit of, I'm going to strip some things

  642. myself. And so he goes to the grave and

  643. he's down in paradise with the criminal that was just on the

  644. cross with him and the criminal saying.

  645. I am so glad I abandoned what I was doing on the way to Gal

  646. Gotham. I'm so glad that I quit

  647. listening to the other thief. I am so glad that I feared God,

  648. that I repeated of my wrongdoing, that I recognize you

  649. are righteous and I called. You, my king.

  650. Cuz here I am with you in paradise, with Abraham, with

  651. David, come on with Moses. I'm here with all the righteous

  652. dead waiting for Jesus, waiting for the one who will redeem

  653. them, who will bust them out day.

  654. Two we still hanging out cuz with the Lord a day is like A

  655. and 1000 years like a so day one 1000 years, day two another

  656. thousand years. Well, it's been a couple

  657. thousand years since the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus.

  658. Could we be approaching the third day?

  659. Could we be approaching the third day where he's going to

  660. break out in the cloud, the trumpets going to sound?

  661. Come on, the King of Glory, one day, 1000 years, two days, 1000

  662. years. But on the third day, something

  663. started rumbling in the grain. A power started to flow down

  664. into the grain. A spirit started to show up in

  665. the grain. It was the Holy Spirit and he

  666. came through and he broke captivity captive.

  667. He busted them out of paradise and resurrected the dead that

  668. were in faith that Jesus was coming in the old covenant and

  669. all the writings up towards. But it doesn't end there.

  670. Jesus leaves the place not where the devil was because the devil

  671. isn't hanging out in hell. It's not his home and it's not

  672. his domain. Hell is the prison system of the

  673. Lord. No, the devil is called the

  674. Prince of the power of the. He is the God of this.

  675. And so Jesus left the grave by the power of the Holy Ghost and

  676. says, go once again, Holy Ghost, because you've already done it

  677. once. You took me to the devil on the

  678. planet, and he tempted me on all accounts, but I did not sin.

  679. Take me back to the devil. Just lead me straight to him.

  680. And he led him to him in Colossians chapter 2, verses 14

    Colossians 2:14

  681. and 15 gives the account. When Jesus was raised out of the

  682. dead, he said by blotting out the certificate of debt that

  683. stood against us with its legal demands, he took it away.

  684. By nailing it on the cross, He stripped the rulers and

  685. authorities of their power and made a public display, leading a

  686. triumphant procession over them by the cross.

  687. Now we didn't see it down in little old earth, but in the

  688. heavens. All creation saw Jesus parade

  689. the devil. He took him up to the heavens.

  690. He showed all the angels that stayed with the Lord.

  691. He showed the ones that were down in the abyss chain for the

  692. Day of Judgment. He took him in every realm of

  693. the spirit and said where he had dominion.

  694. I take it back. I've stripped him.

  695. I pulled it. He doesn't have it anymore.

  696. I take it all. I take it all back.

  697. Whoa, whoa, hey, hey, hey, hey. But it gets better.

  698. I said. It gets better because in

  699. Colossians chapter one verse 13, he said he rescued us completely

  700. from the tyrannical rule of darkness and transferred us into

  701. this Kingdom. Not only did he strip the power

  702. of the devil, and now he holds it to me and he says.

  703. I. Think I'll just give it away.

  704. I'll give it to Don, I'll give it to Michelle.

  705. I'll give it to Marshall. I'll give it to Mike.

  706. I'll give it to Arnelle. I'll give it to Chase.

  707. I'll give it. I'll give it, I'll give it, I'll

  708. give it away. I'll just give it away.

  709. And I can give it away because Daddy said let us make man in

  710. our image according to our likeness and let him have

  711. dominion. It was yours in the 1st place.

  712. You can have it if you want it. It only requires one thing, that

  713. you bow to the king, that you repent, that you get out of your

  714. rebellion to the Kingdom and acknowledge the death, burial,

  715. resurrection of the king. And when you do that, then

  716. another thing that he came to strip Romans 425 who was

  717. betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was

  718. raised up to secure our justification, our acquittal,

  719. making our account balance and absolving us of all guilt.

  720. He says, you know what, Sabrina, I'll just strip you of all your

  721. guilt and condemnation, your shame.

  722. I just strip it off of you. It's as if you never did it.

  723. It's like it doesn't even exist. In fact, when I see you, I see

  724. you as in Christ in the sun, righteous, holy, separated unto

  725. God, a child of the King. Your nature is just like me.

  726. You can roll and reign with my name.

  727. You've been made righteous, holy.

  728. And that old life, you don't want nothing to do with it,

  729. because then I'm going to put my Spirit in you and my Spirit's

  730. going to come and start stripping away.

  731. The thinking in your mind that tells you you're not good

  732. enough, you're not well enough, you don't deserve, and I'm going

  733. to put in you, you deserve, you can, you should.

  734. You're a child of God. He wants you, He loves you, He

  735. has chosen gladly to give you his Kingdom.

  736. Well, glory to God. So I close with this verse.

  737. Hebrews 414 and 16 is so much then as we have a great high

  738. priest who has already Are you hearing me?

  739. I have not fallen. I'm OK, I am.

  740. OK. Who?

  741. Yes, I got to answer. They call the law man.

  742. I won't want to be here. They think I've fallen.

  743. I can't get up this apple does not know I'm a child of God.

  744. That's the problem just called I'm 56 doesn't mean I'm fragile.

  745. I'm strong in the Lord. I'm well able in so much then.

  746. Come on, give me a little something there please.

  747. Rafael in so much as then as we have a great high.

  748. Priest who has already ascended and passed through to heaven,

  749. Jesus the Son of God. Let us hold fast our confession

  750. of faith in Him, for we do not have a high Priest who is unable

  751. to understand and sympathize and have shared feelings with our

  752. weakness and infirmities and liabilities to the assaults of

  753. temptation, but one who has been tempted in every respects, as we

  754. are, yet without sin. Let us stand fearlessly and

  755. confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace, the

  756. throne of God's unmerited favor to us as sinners, that we may

  757. receive mercy for our failures and find grace to help in good

  758. time for every need appropriate help and well timed help coming

  759. just when we need it. Jesus is saying, don't wait for

  760. heaven, come to the Kingdom today.

  761. What? Jesus?

  762. Preached was not an insurance policy upon your death or a life

  763. insurance policy. He did not give you that.

  764. Jesus came to give you an inheritance that begins now in

  765. the earth, no longer waiting. You now are not dependent upon

  766. arriving somewhere after you die.

  767. Now you can have what you're going to come to you, Jesus

  768. said. Now when you pray, pray this

  769. way, our Father. Come on, our Father.

  770. Who art in heaven hallowed be your name, your Kingdom, your

  771. will be on as it is. And as a child of God you can

  772. have heaven's realm reside in the earth's realm.

  773. Through your life and authority in Christ, He's done way more

  774. than saved you. He has restored you.

  775. He has given you dominion back. He's given you the name of

  776. Jesus. He's made you more than a

  777. conqueror. He causes you to triumph in

  778. every situation because he stripped principalities and

  779. powers and all we have to do is act.

  780. He's the king of kings. Who are those kings?

  781. Who are those kings? And we are those now in the

  782. earth.
