  1. I've already mentioned this message to you last week, I

  2. think it was, but I could not get away from going to it in

  3. depth. And so I am, but I want to start

  4. off in Matthew chapter 15. We'll start in verse one.

    Matthew 15 chapter mention

  5. It's very important say this with me, say I desire to know

  6. truth. God is truth, His Word is truth,

  7. and I receive his word and not another.

  8. Now this is important because it's very important for us to

  9. see God's Word as truth. All right, Jesus said I am not a

  10. the way, the truth and the life, no other way to the Father.

  11. So he's not a way, he's not a truth.

  12. It's not his truth, your truth. They're all truth.

  13. So just pick a truth and it's not his life and you can have

  14. life another way. No, there's only one way, only

  15. one. And again, that is not narrow

  16. minded, although that is narrow and I'm glad it's narrow because

  17. broad or wide is the gateway that leads to death and

  18. destruction, but narrow is the way that leads to life.

  19. So it's not narrow minded. What it is is God was so

  20. strategic. He's like, I know in a fallen

  21. state, there's going to seem like a lot of ways and it will

  22. be confusing. So you know what?

  23. I'm just going to show the way. Get rid of confusion.

  24. Get rid of confusion. This is it.

  25. This is the only way. So in essence, he said, let me

  26. just erase this idea. That way you do not have to go

  27. around trying to figure that. I'm just going to tell you the

  28. straight and narrow. It's easily identifiable.

  29. I mean, again, if you were to walk into a maze, the purpose of

  30. a maze is to get you to turn and you don't know where you're

  31. going. You have to figure it out.

  32. But if you went into a maze, let's say hypothetically you,

  33. you got to the entrance, you could go this way and you know

  34. there's going to be some curves. You can, you can't see the end.

  35. You could go this way. Same thing.

  36. But then if? You're standing at the end.

  37. You see the end, a straight path.

  38. Now which way you going to go? Unfortunately, some are turning

  39. to the right and some are turning to the left because they

  40. want the challenge. Well, there's no challenge to

  41. die. Amen.

  42. Wisdom says go straight through Hallelujah.

  43. Amen. And so that what you don't

  44. realize is those mazes never actually end where you are

  45. looking in the straight line. They keep you in the maze.

  46. I said they keep you in the maze.

  47. Well one of the ways that you get in a maze is based upon

  48. Matthew chapter 15 starting in verse one.

    Matthew 15 chapter mention

  49. It says it this way. Matthew 15 verse one it says

  50. then some of the Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from

  51. Jerusalem and said, why do your disciples break the traditions

  52. of the elders? For they do not wash their hands

  53. when they eat bread. Keep this up.

  54. I need you to understand this verse.

  55. This is saying the majority of the religious world has accepted

  56. this statement as a truth and we all by a majority agree that

  57. this is how God functions. Yet you do something that we who

  58. all of us religious groups have agreed is a way is the way of

  59. God, and your disciples are not following it.

  60. In essence, Jesus was the minority and not the majority.

  61. And in our society there can be a majority of a belief that

  62. could not be a belief but be a tradition.

  63. He goes on to say, and he answered and said to them, why

  64. do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake

  65. of your tradition? In essence, I'm glad that you

  66. have a majority consensus that this is what God would do, but

  67. I'm here to tell you it's not what God's saying and this is

  68. the command. In essence, you worked so hard

  69. to try to get people in a position that's away from God's

  70. command, and I'm just here to show God's command.

  71. He goes on to say again, why do you transgress the commandment

  72. of God for the sake of your tradition?

  73. What I want to speak on today has developed a tradition and it

  74. is the IT is the foundational most elementary truth in

  75. Scripture. Yet by the majority, it really

  76. is a tradition and not a truth anymore.

  77. Hallelujah, Amen. Now I need my, you know, people

  78. who've been here a while that understand Scripture to help

  79. this process. Do not get caught up in just

  80. your eyes gazing, OK? Because when we say a few

  81. things, some people are going to be like, huh?

  82. And you need to go, Yep, all right, because you're wiser than

  83. this. But we're going to let the

  84. Scripture take care of itself. All right?

  85. This is not a personal opinion. In order for me, well, let me

  86. just jump into it. Let me just give you what it is.

  87. This foundational truth is that we, most religions are saying,

  88. most churches are saying, and that is you must be born again.

  89. That is true. The question is, is are you born

  90. again? That's the question.

  91. Because what they consider the first step, I'm going to show

  92. you it is the fifth step in salvation because there are four

  93. things that have to take place and it happens in the unseen

  94. before the scene of a confession that Jesus is Lord for you to be

  95. saved. Are you hearing me all right, So

  96. what we would consider the first step is actually the fifth step

  97. and that is you must confess Jesus has Lord over your life.

  98. Well, we know the Scripture, Romans chapter 10 verse 9 and

    Romans 10:9

  99. 10. It says this that if you confess

  100. with your mouth, Jesus says Lord and believe in your heart that

  101. God raised him from the dead, you will be four with a heart, a

  102. person what believes resulting in and with the mouth he

  103. confesses resulting in and man, we're out and about trying to

  104. tell people, look, you need to make Jesus word of your life.

  105. You need to get right. He's paid the price.

  106. It doesn't matter what you've done.

  107. Just just call on the name of Jesus.

  108. And we're trying to do this first before the other four are

  109. even in play. It goes on to say down in verse

  110. 13. For whoever will call on the

  111. name of the Lord will be saved. Now the word Lord is not even a

  112. religious word. It means supreme and authority.

  113. It's actually a direct result of his kingship.

  114. Jesus is the King. He is the Lamb that was slain.

  115. He took on our sin so that we could take on His righteousness.

  116. He became everything, the payment that we needed in order

  117. to have life. Because again, God made man to

  118. have dominion and to rule like him.

  119. But Adam fell from dominion, not heaven.

  120. He lost a Kingdom, not a religion.

  121. And as a result of that, Jesus came to give back what Adam

  122. lost. Adam lost position.

  123. He lost sonship and position as a result of this.

  124. You have to acknowledge him as Lord.

  125. In essence, you bow because it's what you do to kings.

  126. And again, we are in the United States.

  127. We are in a constitutional Republic that democratically

  128. elects its officials. But in the Kingdom, there's no

  129. elections. We didn't vote Jesus in power.

  130. We can't vote Jesus out of power.

  131. Jesus was in power before Adam fell.

  132. He stayed in power after Adam fell.

  133. He became a man so he could get back what Adam released as a man

  134. so that man could have that back.

  135. He's king and he's the King of and the Lord of.

  136. Who are those kings we are? So as a result of that, when we

  137. say we're confessing Him as Lord, we're bowing our knee, our

  138. will, our intent to Him. Yet tradition tells us all we

  139. have to do is call on the name to be saved.

  140. But is that all we did? It better not have been.

  141. It goes on to tell us, though, if we had done this correctly.

  142. 2nd Corinthians 517 let's us know therefore, if anyone is in

  143. Christ, if it's a conditional statement.

  144. So not everyone is in Christ. Even some who say they are in

  145. Christ may not be in Christ. OK.

  146. If therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature.

  147. The old things what passed away, Behold, new things have come.

  148. I do not live an old life in a new as a new creation.

  149. I do not live an old life as a new creation.

  150. So here's the problem. If step one to salvation is

  151. confessing Christ as Lord to be saved and that's all that's

  152. required, then what's the problem with Matthew Chapter 7

    Matthew 7:21–23

  153. verses 21 to 23? Matthew Chapter 7 verse 21 to

    Matthew 7:21–23

  154. 23. Not everyone who says to me,

  155. Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but but but

  156. but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven will

  157. enter, many will say to me on that day.

  158. Lord, Lord, didn't we prophecy in your name and in your name

  159. cast out demons and in your name perform miracles?

  160. But and then I will declare Jesus is talking.

  161. I'm not talking. This is not my words.

  162. Jesus says, then I will declare to them, I never knew you depart

  163. from me, you who? What's that word practice?

  164. What's that word? What's that word?

  165. Lawlessness. Lawlessness is simply doing

  166. something contrary than what God is saying.

  167. That's lawlessness because if you're doing something other

  168. than what the King has said, it's called lawlessness.

  169. It's called lawlessness. But here's the thing, are you

  170. practicing it? We're not talking about

  171. accidentally, you know, every once in a while doing something

  172. God's not told you. And you get quick to say, Lord,

  173. forgive me, I should not have done that.

  174. I'm talking about your living life after a confession that

  175. Jesus is Lord. Like you never left the life you

  176. just said you didn't want to be a part of.

  177. And Jesus saying the mere confession that I am Lord does

  178. not save you alone. It is not just a word without

  179. being enforced from something in the unseen.

  180. There must be something in the unseen.

  181. And Romans chapter 10 does let us know.

    Romans 10 chapter mention

  182. It gives us this insight. It says very specifically that

  183. for with the heart a person believes confession does not

  184. make, does not bring salvation. It must start first in an unseen

  185. place. And there are some things that

  186. must take place in the unseen for this confession to actually

  187. have roots so that you become a new creature and put away the

  188. old way for good. For good, I said for good.

  189. Amen. So we then can learn this from

  190. the day Jesus was crucified. Really, that day is the greatest

  191. example of salvation. And I'm not talking about

  192. Jesus's blood, I'm talking about the conversation that occurred

  193. at the cross. Because Romans does not go into

  194. the detail. It doesn't give us the detail.

  195. Even Acts on the day of Pentecost alludes to some things

  196. but doesn't give us the details. But Luke gives us the details of

  197. four steps that occur in the heart before a confession is

  198. made. Now I preached this in 7 minutes

  199. at Saint Paul AME. It deserved way more than 7

  200. minutes and you're going to get way more, at least 7 * 7 at

  201. least. Luke chapter 23 starting in

    Luke 23 chapter mention

  202. verse 39 to 43. Let's bring the account.

  203. It says and one of the criminals hanging there was blaspheming

  204. him saying are you not the Christ?

  205. Meaning are you the king? Are you this king?

  206. Are you the anointed one that's supposed to come and establish

  207. his Kingdom that has no end. He goes on to say save yourself

  208. and us. Now let me just stop there for a

  209. moment. Please leave the scripture up.

  210. This criminal hates Christ but wants self preservation.

  211. This criminal has no desire to bow to him.

  212. Now he's saying, are you the Christ?

  213. Are you the one that's supposed to be called Lord?

  214. In essence, I'll believe it if you save yourself and me.

  215. Now this is no place where I want to bow to you.

  216. I'm not submitting myself. I just don't want to die.

  217. Here. Like this?

  218. Are you hearing me now? The reason this is a problem is

  219. because in today's society, especially in the Western

  220. church, is that we have glossed over the heart of man to get to

  221. a quick confession. And what we're doing is we're

  222. telling this criminal, I hate church.

  223. I don't want to go to church. I don't want to be under pastor

  224. or five fold ministry. I don't want to have to be told

  225. when to go and do this. And you know, I just want to go

  226. to heaven when I die. That's what the criminal on the

  227. other side sounds like. Well, you know what?

  228. It's not about going to church. You know what it's not about?

  229. I mean, you don't even know what you're talking about when you

  230. say that anyway. However, I mean, we're like,

  231. listen, all that matters is that you ask Jesus to come into your

  232. heart. That's what we're saying about

  233. the heart instead of you need to deal with your heart.

  234. Why? And why is this?

  235. Because listen, there's a way that seems right to a man, but

  236. in the end lies death. Guess what?

  237. Everyone outside the Kingdom is going to try to find a way

  238. that's right to be with God, yet still be able to do what they

  239. want to do. And God forbid you judge them on

  240. that account, so much so that the church has picked up this

  241. tradition. Well, now, you know, be careful.

  242. They said that they they're saved.

  243. OK, so I'll just take you at your word.

  244. Well, is that what the Bible tells us?

  245. Because Jesus said there's people said, Lord, Lord to me.

  246. But here's the problem. If I'm Lord, then they're going

  247. to do what I say. Because that's.

  248. A natural that is evidence that he's Lord.

  249. That's evidence that he's Lord. So there are many that are

  250. calling on the Christ for self preservation because what are we

  251. saying? There's nothing you can do to

  252. earn it, deserve it, right? You can't do it yourself, so

  253. just accept it that way. All that you're doing wrong

  254. right now doesn't matter because Jesus has already paid the

  255. price. And when someone says, well,

  256. I'll take that, you mean I can basically do really what I want

  257. to do anyway. Well, you know, you're not

  258. supposed to. But here's the thing.

  259. And what that seems right sounds good.

  260. But is that what the Scripture actually says?

  261. It is not what it says at all. So we've made coming into the

  262. Kingdom of God a tradition. So much so then I'm not even

  263. sure if those that are confessing are actually in

  264. because here's one of the things that we would say about religion

  265. that doesn't know Jesus at all, that they are being deceived and

  266. we can name religions right now. In fact, I know of one

  267. particular religion that I won't name.

  268. But a person was in it and they said I thought I was going to be

  269. with God when I died the whole time, only to find out they lied

  270. to me. Now if you take man's word for

  271. it only, it's going to be deceived.

  272. This is why we say don't take my word for it.

  273. You go into the scripture yourself to find it.

  274. So This is why I'm going to use a lot of scripture.

  275. Are you hearing me? Hallelujah.

  276. OK, verse 40. But the other answered, rebuking

  277. him. The other wasn't.

  278. You tell them I know how you feel.

  279. Oh, I know how you feel, brother.

  280. I can identify with you right now.

  281. But I can identify. I mean, we got sinners and

  282. carnal Christians running around all over the place identifying

  283. with one another and the hurts and pains.

  284. Instead of identifying with Christ, let's just identify with

  285. him. OK, let's go on he says.

  286. And the other answer rebuking him, saying, do you not even

  287. fear God since you are under the same sentence of condemnation

  288. Jesus? And we indeed are suffering

  289. justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for what we have

  290. done. But this man has done nothing

  291. wrong. And he was saying, Jesus,

  292. Remember Me when you come into your Kingdom.

  293. And Jesus said to that thief or criminal, truly I say to you

  294. today you shall be with me in paradise.

  295. How can you know that you know you will be with him?

  296. I'm telling you what I'm appreciate that you can know

  297. that you will be with him, no doubt, no anxiety, that on that

  298. great day or a day when the trumpet sounds, you would hear

  299. something like I just didn't know you because you were just

  300. doing what seemed right to you. Even with my scripture, the

  301. reason why Jesus rebukes the religious, He says you've

  302. developed a tradition around my word so that you could live

  303. life, which seems right to you. And we've got to be honest.

  304. When we come into this place right here, we have to ask

  305. ourselves, am I wanting to hear what allows me to do what I want

  306. to do? Or am I coming to hear what God

  307. wants to tell me? And it's probably going to

  308. require me to have to change my thinking in order to line up

  309. with what he's doing. I mean, the the amount of

  310. immediate pride that transitioned supposedly from the

  311. domain of darkness into the Kingdom of his beloved son that

  312. a person would recognize that they have a need of the blood of

  313. Jesus. And the minute they asked Jesus

  314. to be Lord, God forbid you tell them you're going to have to do

  315. something different now in this life.

  316. Oh, don't tell me. Don't judge me.

  317. What you've done is you've carried over what you think's

  318. going to be right now here, well over here in the domain of

  319. darkness. You're right was wrong.

  320. Hopefully you realize that. And for many, I don't even know

  321. if they realize. I believe that our society's

  322. running into the same problem. That we have in India.

  323. In India there are so many gods, so many gods, so many idols.

  324. Some are huge, some are small, they're everywhere.

  325. They are everywhere. And when you minister in India,

  326. if I minister that Jesus Christ died for them, rose from the

  327. grave, His blood has forgiven them of their sin.

  328. Who wants to receive Jesus for the forgiveness of sin?

  329. Everyone will raise their hand and run, no problem.

  330. Why? Because they'll just take a

  331. little figurine that you can find of a Jesus and purchase it

  332. and put it in their house and put Jesus with every other God.

  333. In essence, I'm covered. Look at all of them.

  334. How in the world can I not go? I am following them all.

  335. But what we have to say is you have to denounce the rest.

  336. You can't serve him and them. You can't keep them.

  337. We have a whole history book of of the nation of Israel.

  338. Keeping other gods and the Lord's like I'm a jealous God.

  339. I am the only God that's your man made, made-up gods.

  340. I mean, you think I'm going to sit here and bow down to your

  341. will that you've construed or made-up from that God that

  342. you're Sir Fine, you won't That God let him deliver you then.

  343. No, he's the only one. I mean, when did we lose

  344. emphatic, absolute truth? This is not social media

  345. opinion. It's not open for opinion.

  346. It's. Actually not open for debate,

  347. though you can debate it if you. Want so the first.

  348. Thing that you have to do step one in the heart that gets you

  349. to Step 5 to confess Christ as Lord is that you must fear God.

  350. If a person does not have the fear of God, it will not lead

  351. them to salvation. Say Amen.

  352. Anyway, Ecclesiastes chapter 8 verses 12 to 13.

    Ecclesiastes 8:12–13

  353. Ecclesiastes got this right. Look what it says.

  354. Although a Sinner does evil 100 times and many length lengthens

  355. his life, still I know that it will be well for those who fear

  356. God, who fear him openly. Verse 13 But it will not be well

  357. for the evil man, and he will not lengthen his days like a

  358. shadow, because he does not fear God.

  359. Now I could preach on the fear of God the rest of the year.

  360. And this is something that doesn't even resonate in most

  361. churches anymore is the fear of God.

  362. Do you understand you can stand in the presence?

  363. Of God without fear. And justify everything you're

  364. doing. That's what the one criminal

  365. was. Come on, take yourself down.

  366. Come on, stay. Look, I want to be.

  367. I don't want to die like this. You don't want to die like this.

  368. Look, let's just get off this cross.

  369. If you're the guy, get down. Let's go.

  370. Let's leave. Because again, I'm not following

  371. you. I just don't want to die.

  372. And there's many people that I just don't want to go to hell.

  373. I'm not following you. I just don't want to go to hell.

  374. I don't want to go to hell. I mean, who wants to go to the

  375. Lake of fire? Nobody in her right mind wants

  376. to go to the lake of fire and be tormented forever.

  377. So if Jesus is the way out, great, Let me take that, put it

  378. here in my pocket, and I'll live life the best way I can know.

  379. It. That on that day I'm gonna pull

  380. right out here in my pocket. Remember.

  381. Remember when I? Said come into my heart and save

  382. me and he's like, let me go check the records.

  383. The fear of the Lord. Look what it says.

  384. Also in Ecclesiastes 12, he ends this whole book this way.

  385. It's powerful. He says the conclusion when all

  386. has been heard is fear God and keep his commandments, because

  387. this applies to every person, for God will bring every act to

  388. judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or

  389. evil. And I hear it right now by the

  390. religious. Well, that's the old covenant.

  391. No, that's just. Written in our.

  392. History books it's not under old covenant.

  393. Those truths are applicable today for.

  394. Even in the, even in the new. Testament Peter says that Jesus

  395. Christ is the judge of the living and the dead.

  396. It says in Paul's writings to the Church, we all as believers

  397. will stand before the judgment seat.

  398. Of Christ. And those that have never called

  399. on his name, that have died without him as Lord, the grave

  400. will give up the dead, and they will go to the great white

  401. throne, where they will be judged, and then later cast into

  402. the Lake of fire. So this Ecclesiastes is a

  403. revelation beyond. This dispensation.

  404. Every person. That's why I have coined this

  405. pray phrase, because God is not making you do anything because

  406. God's not controlling you. God wants you to want him.

  407. He wants you to want to serve Him.

  408. He wants you to want life. He wants you to willfully

  409. submit, and that's why I say you can do.

  410. God will let you do whatever you want to do, but He will hold you

  411. accountable to whatever you do. And there's nothing you're doing

  412. he's not taking in account. Do you understand our modern day

  413. salvation is fellowship without responsibility?

  414. Everybody wants to have fellowship with the Lord, yet no

  415. responsibility to Him. And that's why they don't come

  416. to church anymore, why they want to fellowship with you without

  417. having to be in church. We want fellowship without

  418. accountability and responsibility.

  419. It's the new. Trend You can get what you want.

  420. You know what you get what you want.

  421. You can listen to whatever you want to listen to, whomever you

  422. want to listen to, whenever you want to listen to and it seems

  423. right to you. Don't tell me that I can't have

  424. a relationship with God. I'm not telling you.

  425. I'm telling you what he says. Where is the fear of the Lord?

  426. I said, Where is the fear of the Lord?

  427. Where is the fear of the Lord? Because if you don't have the

  428. fear of the Lord, then the next step can't even get in play,

  429. because those who do not have the fear of the Lord will

  430. continually do evil. Although in their eyes they

  431. think it's right. In fact, Ezekiel, I believe it

  432. was prophesied, he said now there's coming a day that what

  433. they call good, they'll call what's good according to God,

  434. evil, and they'll call what's evil according to God good.

  435. And we're in that land today. We're in that global set mindset

  436. right now. The second thing is that when

  437. you develop the fear of God, then the next thing #2 that the

  438. criminal can teach us. You're learning from prison

  439. today, really from the one about to be executed.

  440. All right, You, you, you have to.

  441. And once you get the fear of God, then you will know that you

  442. are guilty of deserve judgment, guilty, guilty as charged.

  443. Look, it's all through scripture.

  444. In fact, the Father is so holy that a human cannot stand in His

  445. presence. The only one who?

  446. Did was listen? Adam and Eve because they were

  447. without sin at a time. Even Moses was in his glory, but

  448. not in the same as Adam and Eve. Before the fall.

  449. Before the fall. If you can, go to church and

  450. feel no guilt for living wrong. Then you've moved to a place

  451. that's teaching tradition. Now I'll tell you what those.

  452. Traditional people will say after they leave that church

  453. where guilt starts to show up. You know what I felt?

  454. I felt condemned when I was there.

  455. Guilt condemns. You.

  456. Oh. Come on, put that passage back

  457. up with a criminal. What did that criminal say to

  458. them? To him?

  459. He said. Do you not fear God?

  460. He said. Do you not fear God since you

  461. are under the same sentence of condemnation?

  462. The Holy Spirit will convict. You of sin, it's one of his

  463. assignments to convict the world of their sin.

  464. When you are convicted of your sin, you know what a convict is.

  465. They've been convicted of a crime.

  466. And when the Holy Ghost comes through by the Spirit and says.

  467. How are you? What are you living right now?

  468. This is not justifiable in front of me.

  469. I this can't be in my presence. This is not in my family.

  470. And then all of a sudden you feel condemned because he

  471. convicts. You we don't even want to use

  472. these terms in the traditional salvation churches today because

  473. God forbid we offend you. You're already living an

  474. offended life. Your life is offensive to God.

  475. Your whole life is offensive to God because you're not living

  476. holy, because you don't get to pick how you get to live for

  477. him. You don't get the you do not get

  478. to declare to the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, the

  479. creator of heaven enough. This is how I'm going to live.

  480. And you're going to have to accept it.

  481. It doesn't work like that. But when the fear of God comes

  482. in your life, you're like man now I'm talking pre born again.

  483. You're like I'm filthy rags. This is horrible.

  484. I am guilty. This is not looking for.

  485. A way out. You understand many people are

  486. guilty. We see it in every.

  487. Sector of society today, do you understand we would need no refs

  488. if people self govern? And I even say this with anchor

  489. faith in a mural varsity league because if you bump a person on

  490. flag football too hard, you say you know what I was wrong.

  491. You should be able to self govern in righteousness.

  492. But what do we do? We want to get away with stuff

  493. so we can win. Even though we know.

  494. We're violating. Oh yeah, I'm preaching way

  495. better than you shout but that's OK.

  496. I thought I at least have 5 people stand up but that's fine.

  497. Yeah, I mean, we're to kick over sacred cows today.

  498. You understand, God's placing us the ability to rightly judge.

  499. I mean, if the game's on the line and the ref misses the call

  500. and you know. Many will walk away with a

  501. trophy and in their heart they know he missed it.

  502. Well, that's just comes with the game.

  503. But righteous and integrity is saying we lost.

  504. You were wrong. Come on, you all know it.

  505. Yeah, we all know it. It's theirs.

  506. How can we go out? How can we say we're champion

  507. knowing the only reason is because you missed the call?

  508. But it has seemed right to us. Well, you know, cuz it let me

  509. tell you. Let me tell you how this goes.

  510. Well, you know, they missed a couple on us too.

  511. Oh, you know, I'm preaching good now.

  512. You know I'm preaching better than you're shouting.

  513. That's why you will allow lawlessness to manifest and see

  514. it as righteous. Because it's.

  515. Only do me because of the way they treat it.

  516. But Jesus is like I'm righteous all the time. 100% of the time.

  517. Never. Not now.

  518. Unfortunately, Jesus is not calling your games.

  519. Because he would never miss the call.

  520. But he is calling your life, and he's never missing the call.

  521. Because Jesus goes beyond. Your words.

  522. He penetrates your heart inside you.

  523. He knows your motive. He knows why you slithered

  524. yourself down the aisle up to the altar to do a confession and

  525. cry and ask God to forgive you. Much like Esau.

  526. Only because you're a guy in church trying to get in the

  527. pants of a girl that you've been dating.

  528. And she says unless. You follow God and you're like,

  529. fine, so you slithered your way down.

  530. Same thing. People come into church to try

  531. to exploit the church in all kinds of ways, slithing yourself

  532. all over the place. You're doing this outward, but

  533. God's like, I know why you. Just did that.

  534. Oh, let me write that one down. Oh, I got that.

  535. Oh yeah, no, I got it. It's in the book.

  536. It's in the books. It's in the books, See, we don't

  537. think it's in the books, people. It's in the books.

  538. It's in the books. Even for believers, it's in the

  539. books. Now I'm not saying the books

  540. God's caring for true believers is going to cause you to go into

  541. the lake of fire, but I'm telling you it does hinder this

  542. reward system and that which is carrying over to an everlasting

  543. eternity beyond what we are currently living in.

  544. It's in the books. The only way you get it out of

  545. the books is by the blood. The blood is the great eraser.

  546. Whoa, I said. The blood is the great eraser,

  547. but you do not get the blood's erasing power by a word only.

  548. It must come with a heart deep conviction of I fear God.

  549. And anything I do outside of God, I'm guilty.

  550. I'm not making excuses here. I am.

  551. Come take me. I I willfully surrender.

  552. I mean, do you? Understand, if we could go into

  553. the spirit, I would venture to say, and I almost wish I would

  554. have had somebody. Now, Declan, you can help me.

  555. Come on, Declan, help me. Come on, Declan.

  556. Come on, Declan, Help me. Declan, won't you just come

  557. right here? Won't you, Alec, you're going to

  558. get born again, OK. All right, Come.

  559. Sit down now. Declan, I'm Jesus.

  560. I'm going to come to you. Come.

  561. I'm going to come to you because he comes to us.

  562. The Spirit comes to us and draws us to Jesus.

  563. OK? I'm going to come to you to

  564. bring you to the altar, but do whatever you can do to resist,

  565. OK? All right.

  566. Wow, that's a very strong foot. Now we would call this resisting

  567. arrest because when the POPO comes because you are guilty and

  568. they come to arrest you and then you resist the arrest.

  569. Problem is enough of them typically show up and you go to

  570. jail anyway. Are you hearing me?

  571. And I believe many in the spirits, this is what they look

  572. like when they come to give their lives to.

  573. Jesus, thank you Declan, you were amazing.

  574. We are resisting in the Spirit. In the outside we looking like

  575. calm cucumbers, but on the inside we're resisting arrest.

  576. We don't want our lives submitted, committed, where

  577. we're cleaning out the garbage, cleaning out the mess, cleaning

  578. out the bad relationships, cleaning out the formal way of

  579. living. No, we want to say, you better

  580. remember I didn't have to do nothing to get here, so sure

  581. don't require me to do something after.

  582. Hallelujah. Second Peter chapter 3, verse

    2 Peter 3 chapter mention

  583. seven. I may have to take this into

  584. next week. It's getting so good.

  585. Second, Peter 37 says this, but by his word, the present

  586. heavens. And.

  587. Earth are being reserved for fire.

  588. Kept for the day of. Judgment and destruction of

  589. ungodly men. It is not an entire.

  590. Truth. When we tell people today God's

  591. not mad at you, God is storing up wrath for the ungodly.

  592. Just because God's not demonstrating his wrath towards

  593. you now doesn't mean he's like, well, I hate that happened.

  594. Well, really don't like they did that.

  595. Who not really excited about that?

  596. You think, well, why would he get upset?

  597. Why? Because he sends Thaddeus by you

  598. to tell you, hey, you know, there's another way of living.

  599. And then you hear it and you're confronted with it.

  600. And then God gets behind those words and talks to your heart

  601. and you're like, no, I'm not going to do any.

  602. And you harden your heart and you go out and he goes.

  603. And then he sends a doctor fatigue by and pays your

  604. mortgage because he's kind to you, because it's the kindness

  605. of God that leads you to repentance.

  606. And then he demonstrates himself.

  607. You know, when Nick comes by and lays hands on you and you get

  608. healed, but then you still snub your nose at him.

  609. He's like. Storing up wrath now, as long as

  610. you're here, every opportunity could be because it will be in

  611. God. 'S book, he'll be able to say,

  612. oh, let me as if it was going down there.

  613. I'll show you all the ways I demonstrated my love towards you

  614. so that you wouldn't be where you're at today.

  615. But they said you weren't going to be mad at me.

  616. Well, they lied. Come on.

  617. See, kindness is not acceptance. Kindness is to bring you to

  618. repentance and let me help you out.

  619. Believers, some people you know that are like, man, they don't

  620. deserve it. You're right, we didn't deserve

  621. it. They don't deserve it.

  622. But be kind when God tells you to be kind because it's the

  623. kindness of God that leads them to repentance.

  624. Revelations Oh, I like this book.

  625. Revelations 212 says it this way.

  626. And I saw the. Dead great and small, standing

  627. before the throne. Thrones are in kingdoms, not

  628. religions and the books were opened.

  629. Listen, we are in a Kingdom. God does not fail to keep his

  630. word In our modern day religions about Jesus, you would think he

  631. may not do it. It just depends on any given

  632. day. But in the Kingdom that does not

  633. occur. He said, then another.

  634. Book was open, which was the Book of Life, which is the book

  635. of Life. And the dead were judged by what

  636. was written in the books according to what they had done,

  637. according to what they had done. Jump down to verse 15.

  638. And if anyone's name was not found in the Book of Life, he

  639. was thrown into the lake of fire.

  640. Now if we read this in its full account, it would be Great White

  641. Throne. The dead has come up who's never

  642. confessed Jesus totally been in rebellion to him and living life

  643. what seems right to them. He'll pull out the book called

  644. the Lamb's Book of Life. He'll look.

  645. For their name, ah, this is the citizenship of heaven.

  646. Just as when you're born anywhere naturally, here your

  647. name is written in that nation that you are citizen.

  648. The Lamb's Book of Life is our. Citizens Registry.

  649. It's your. It's your birth certificate in

  650. the spirit. He'll look names not there

  651. close. Then he'll pull out books.

  652. It says why books 'cause he has recorded everything you've ever

  653. done and he will judge you justly because of it.

  654. On September 3rd, 1973, did you or did you not?

  655. Oh, but now, Lord, you know, I said, oh, let me go into your

  656. heart. Let's turn that on and He'll

  657. wire that hidden speaker within your spirit, OK?

  658. Sure, honey, we'll do that. I hate her.

  659. God, I hate her so much. I hate she did that to me.

  660. I hate she's doing that. Oh, I can't wait to get back to

  661. her. I can't wait.

  662. This is just going to. I'm going to find a way.

  663. And that's all being recorded, all being transcribed.

  664. Oh, you went on the trip with your wife?

  665. But you hated it. The charges you didn't you love

  666. your lot, your wife like Christ loved the church.

  667. Oh, did I not give her stuff? Did not.

  668. Oh, let me let's open up your hearts recording.

  669. I hate that she's taking my money and stealing all the time

  670. and doing what she wants to do with it.

  671. I can't believe she OK. See, we think this is fairy.

  672. Tale. Why?

  673. Because it seems better to us to justify our secrets, but the

  674. fear of the Lord won't let you have secrets.

  675. Even what you speak inside, you'll go, oh, I shouldn't do

  676. that. When you hear the have the fear

  677. of the Lord and you start to speak those things inside,

  678. you'll say, I am not going to release that.

  679. That will not honor God. No.

  680. What? What does your word say?

  681. It is written. Let me say that instead.

  682. Are you hearing me? Thank you Jesus.

  683. So thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus.

  684. So so far we've seen according to this criminal that before you

  685. can get to a place where the Lord's going to say today you'll

  686. be with me, you have to 1st fear God.

  687. I'm going to be honest with you. I hope today you're questioning

  688. the day you asked him now, because I would hate for you to

  689. keep going through life thinking that because you came down one

  690. time trying to avoid the lake of fire, you're good when you may

  691. have deceived yourself. You are because the minute.

  692. The fear of. God, you'll say.

  693. Guilty as charged. I'm not fighting it.

  694. You turn yourself in. You turn yourself in.

  695. You willfully submit. You don't.

  696. Fight it. I mean, people going to come

  697. down. I mean, I've they'll come down

  698. and then you never see them again.

  699. You'll pray for them in a place of business.

  700. You know they're not going to church.

  701. Because they were lost and then you say.

  702. You need to come to church with me.

  703. Never see them again. Do they even fear God?

  704. Or are they just sorry they're called?

  705. Or is going to try to figure out a better way to do it.

  706. So maybe next time they're not. And we judged the actual

  707. convicts. PCI last night.

  708. We went in there and ministered. Our team did. 25 people were

  709. there and 25 people are there are guilty as charged.

  710. And some of them are repeat offenders.

  711. They think when they get out, they can do it a different way

  712. without being caught because they've never really changed

  713. from what they were doing. And yet believers are doing the

  714. same thing. You know how we know?

  715. Because they'll come to this church, then it surfed, so then

  716. they leave this one and go to another one.

  717. But then it surfaces because eventually somebody shows up to

  718. preach that and then they go to another one until they land in

  719. the one that doesn't even preach about it.

  720. And the fear that God's not there.

  721. And then everybody else is doing the same crimes against the

  722. throne, all. Right.

  723. I got 2 minutes to 12. I got two more points I could

  724. close or we could go. All right, let's drive on then.

  725. All right. You all right with that, Zach?

  726. Is that OK? Looks like I'm fine.

  727. I'm a little. Hungry.

  728. But that's OK, I can hold it. The third thing that has to

  729. happen that the criminal taught us is that you must acknowledge

  730. your wrongdoing and repent. He said do you not fear God?

  731. We're here and sentenced and condemned rightly.

  732. He says put that verse passes back up.

  733. He said we. Are only getting what we have

  734. done, which means he's acknowledging I know what I did

  735. and all indication is since Barabbas was the one released,

  736. most likely these two thieves were a part of Barabbas's

  737. rebellion and instead of Barabbas being the one in the

  738. middle, the ringleader of this rebellion, they put Jesus as the

  739. substitute. But the two on the side,

  740. scholars believe, most likely were a part of his.

  741. Which means the criminal could say, I know what you've done, I

  742. was there. You can't lie to me and tell me

  743. it didn't happen. It happened.

  744. I was there. And you and I on this thing.

  745. Is because we deserve to be on this thing so you have to

  746. acknowledge it's not enough to fear God and feel guilty.

  747. Then you have to start taking personal responsibility and say

  748. I am wrong and there's nothing that's happened in life that I

  749. can justify this because here's the thing, no matter what's

  750. ever. Been done to you?

  751. Prior to knowing Christ, you were trying to figure it out and

  752. you never actually asked God how to overcome.

  753. He wasn't in your relationship. God has a way of delivering the

  754. righteous from all their trouble.

  755. Hallelujah. But we were poor.

  756. We didn't have anything, you know, I had to steal how to feed

  757. my babies. But see with the Lord, the Lord

  758. can cause your food that you have what little bit you have in

  759. a cupboard to multiply till the next time you're paid.

  760. Because he's done that for a widow woman that didn't have any

  761. food for their kids and there wasn't even anything to steal.

  762. Jesus is not limited in resource, and His way is always

  763. a way of life. Not resulting in doing something

  764. wrong, justifying it as right. So you have.

  765. To acknowledge I'm wrong. I'm making no excuse.

  766. I make no excuse and I made no excuse.

  767. None. I'm this, I'm that.

  768. I did that, I did this, I did that.

  769. I couldn't name them all, but I knew I was in the category of it

  770. all. And what I didn't know, I said

  771. something. Ezekiel, look at this chapter 18

  772. verses 3032. Therefore I will judge you, O

  773. House of Israel. Each according to his conduct.

  774. Declare the Lord God, repent and turn away from all your

  775. transgression, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block

  776. to you. Castaway from you all your

  777. transgression which you have committed, and make yourself a

  778. new heart and a new spirit. For why will you die, O House of

  779. Israel? For I have no pleasure in the

  780. death of anyone who dies, declares the Lord.

  781. Before repent and live. So living cannot come before

  782. repenting, and you cannot repent until you acknowledge you're

  783. wrong. No more justification.

  784. I'm wrong? And I repent.

  785. Repent is not even a religious word.

  786. We know it means just change your thinking.

  787. You need to change your thing. You need to quit thinking that

  788. these things you're doing is OK with God.

  789. They are not. And it required the blood of

  790. Jesus because of those things. And so just acknowledge they are

  791. not and say, Lord forgive me. And I am going to start thinking

  792. your thoughts your way so that I'm not over here doing wrong.

  793. Stuff. Acts 2620.

  794. The latter part. Acts 2620.

  795. Just the latter part of that verse says this, that they

  796. should repent and turn to God. Here it is performing deeds

  797. appropriate to repentance. You will not find in Scripture.

  798. You will not find in scripture that you can ask Jesus to be

  799. Lord of your life. And have no corresponding

  800. actions. You cannot that salvation does

  801. not exist. Even John before Jesus started

  802. preaching said repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

  803. Then when the. Pharisees, the religious, the

  804. ones who say we have the word of God, we teach the word of God,

  805. we are the ones who instruct the word of God.

  806. He looks at them and says, why don't you live a life in keeping

  807. with repentance? How come I see no fruit from the

  808. things you're saying? In fact, Jesus even rebuked

  809. them. He says yeah, they're out there

  810. touting my words. Things that I've written through

  811. Moses, the Law, and the prophets.

  812. You need to do what they say, but do not do what they do

  813. because their deeds are not in keeping with their words.

  814. And do we think that Jesus is fooled with a modern day

  815. salvation of coming down and asking God to come in our heart,

  816. save us, say he's Lord by mouth only and never had the fear of

  817. God, never felt guilty for the life we LED prior.

  818. Profound guilt, guilt so much that we know we are really

  819. punishable forever. And then and having that

  820. acknowledgement, I'm not even going to make an excuse.

  821. I won't do it. I am going to change and I'm

  822. going to let him change me and when I get up I am not going to

  823. be the same person and I will not let anyone change me.

  824. Back. I'm not going to make an excuse.

  825. I am going to go 100% all in following God.

  826. You know, it's amazing how many people even now, and I do

  827. believe obviously once they watch things online, are going

  828. to really resist this teaching. And it's only because you want

  829. God at your thoughts, not His. And here's the thing, and I get

  830. it. Listen, do you?

  831. Really think this is new. Everyone on the planet thinks

  832. they're good enough at some point.

  833. We all thought we were good enough.

  834. That's why the Bible says there's a way that seems right

  835. to a man. In fact, a whole dispensation

  836. was around when men live based upon what they thought was

  837. right. And that time period was the

  838. time just before Noah and when God said man thinks he's right

  839. and there's enough evidence of me and I've left enough about me

  840. down there that people knew the sacrifice.

  841. People knew that I was the creator of heaven and earth.

  842. People understood that I'm going to let them live and see if they

  843. can figure it out all by this. Can they be right by themselves

  844. that the Lord steps out, looks over, He says I regret I.

  845. Even made man. That's what the society will

  846. look like because your right is so right to you, it actually

  847. will lift you up in pride to the Father you actually have.

  848. He is the devil and he is a liar and he was lifted up in pride

  849. because he thought my way is better than God's way, but his

  850. way is better. Are you hearing me?

  851. His way is life #4 these all have to occur in your heart

  852. before you can confess. This is true salvation.

  853. This is a real relationship with God.

  854. How can you say you have a relationship with God and have

  855. no, no guilt, shame, no remorse for anything you've done?

  856. How can you say you've been in the presence of God yet you

  857. could say you're born again, but live life and do things that you

  858. know are outside his word. Now, if you're like, well, I

  859. really don't know. Well, why don't you know?

  860. Well, because I don't read. Well, why don't you read?

  861. Well, I don't have time. Well, is that OK with God?

  862. I mean, we could go down this road forever, right?

  863. Because now it's OK. God doesn't really care that you

  864. read his word. I mean, he says seek.

  865. He didn't say last. When you're in trouble on Easter

  866. Sunday. Come on, help me.

  867. Reverend Randy. Right.

  868. It's not once a month, twice a year, you know, Christmas and

  869. Easter, here we go. It's not that now I hear, I hear

  870. the ones that seem right. I just can't believe he's saying

  871. stuff like this. Wow.

  872. You know, that seems so judgmental.

  873. I'm not judging. I'm just preaching the word.

  874. And the word does not allow, does not accommodate for this

  875. kind of silly thinking. That's worldly thinking, trying

  876. to get in the church. Oh man, thank you, Jesus.

  877. So #4 the last one is this. Let's put that scripture back up

  878. with a criminal. He's teaching us so many things

  879. today because this guy really got born again.

  880. How do we know? Because Jesus told him.

  881. This is not subjective, so if there's ever been an example of

  882. how you know you will be with him, this is the example.

  883. Do you not fear God? We deserve this.

  884. Judgment. We are wrong and we are not

  885. making an excuse. And I don't know about you.

  886. In fact, apparently I know about you.

  887. You. Just stay on your side.

  888. But for me? I'm changing my thinking.

  889. This guy is the Christ. I don't need to see any other

  890. evidence. I don't need him to come down.

  891. He doesn't have to prove anything.

  892. His words and actions are enough.

  893. I was just like you, a blasphemer.

  894. I was yelling at him while we were coming.

  895. I was yelling at him when he was getting put on.

  896. I was yelling at him when I was being put on.

  897. But now I see his response. I see his.

  898. Demeanor. I'm in his presence, I'm around

  899. his atmosphere. And I realized that.

  900. My God, man, God is real and I'm guilty and I'm wrong in the

  901. audacity of you to talk to the. King like that I repent because.

  902. He's goes on to say he says. We indeed are suffering justly,

  903. for we receive what we've done. But this man has done nothing

  904. wrong. This is righteousness.

  905. I am by absolute righteousness, absolute justice, absolute

  906. holiness, absolute truth. I'm by absolute life.

  907. And so I'm asking, you know, I'm going to, I'm not going to ask

  908. this Roman centurion down here. I'm not going to ask him to pull

  909. pilot up here. I'm going to look to the one who

  910. actually has the ability to determine life for me.

  911. Jesus, when you enter into your Kingdom, will you Remember Me?

  912. Because when he acknowledges his Kingdom, he acknowledges his

  913. kingship. He says when you Jesus Remember

  914. Me, when you, when you, that's you come into your who's his

  915. Kingdom, King's dominion. Since you're the king, you're

  916. the Christ, you're the king. Will you Remember Me?

  917. Because I want you to be my king.

  918. 2nd Corinthians 521 says He made him who knew no sin to be sent

  919. on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God

  920. in him. The last verse is this Isaiah

  921. 4524. It says this.

  922. And they will say to me, only in the Lord are righteousness and

  923. strength. Men will come to him, and all

  924. who are angry at him will be put to shame.

  925. Once we acknowledge the fear of God, it will produce in us a

  926. guilt that is we're unable to bear.

  927. And we will know we are rightly condemned.

  928. And then because of that, we'll recognize my own actions have

  929. done this. I can blame no one.

  930. I'm guilty as charged, and I'm wrong.

  931. I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I'm going to change.

  932. I want to repent. I want to be different.

  933. I don't want this anymore. And what I hear is that he took

  934. on me so I could take on him. Hallelujah.

  935. Which means if His righteousness allowed him to live as a man in

  936. the earth, anointed of the Holy Ghost, and not sin until He took

  937. it on at the cross, then if I yield my life to Him, then I can

  938. take on His righteousness. I'll be a new creature in

  939. Christ. My spirit will be like His

  940. spirit. Then He will give me his spirit

  941. to come and bear witness with my spirit that I'm a child of God.

  942. Then He will endue me with that spirit so that I have power from

  943. on high. And that same anointing that

  944. came on Him will come on me in a measure that then by me

  945. following the leading of the Spirit, as He followed the

  946. leading of the Spirit while in the earth, then I can be

  947. victorious, dominate every circumstance.

  948. No longer will I be under the law of sin and death, but I'll

  949. be under the law of the Spirit of life.

  950. In. Christ Jesus.

  951. And it was not unrighteousness that I did on my own, but it was

  952. His righteousness that I clothed myself with.

  953. And how can I walk around and act like and live unrighteous

  954. when I am His righteousness? How in the world could I not

  955. live a life in keeping with? This repentance that I have.

  956. Because I'm a whole new species of being and this new person

  957. would never for eternity. Be looking for an opportunity to

  958. live in lawlessness and rebellion and doing things

  959. contrary to the Kingdom, because when this occurs then we confess

  960. Jesus. Your Lord, your Lord, I believe.

  961. And that person cannot get up from their knees.

  962. Or from that prayer. And be the same person, that

  963. person. You don't have to beg to be in

  964. church. You don't have to beg to be

  965. discipled. You don't have to beg to want to

  966. live righteous. You don't have to beg to quit.

  967. Weights and sins that ensnare their life.

  968. You don't have to beg them to let go of things that God starts

  969. to reveal. Those are encumbrances.

  970. They'll mess you up. They'll they won't let you have

  971. the quality of life that you are now I'm trying to release the

  972. real you get out of that stuff and that person like get rid of

  973. it. Lord, thank you for showing.

  974. It oh, I'm so thankful, dad, that you showed me that I'm want

  975. that done. I don't want to do that anymore.

  976. I don't have to do that. In fact, my spirit doesn't

  977. because I'm alive unto you. I get to do you.

  978. I get to follow you. I.

  979. Nobody has to beg me, plead with me.

  980. I mean, I love God. I want to do your word.

  981. I want to do your word. I want to yield to you.

  982. I want to praise you. I want to pray.

  983. I want to read your word. I want to be involved.

  984. I want to tell others about you. I'm not hiding out, waiting

  985. until I die. I want the world to know I'm

  986. alive with Him. That is true salvation and the

  987. others.
