  1. Today, I told you on Sunday that today is like a appetizer for

  2. this weekend. And you know, obviously I

  3. recognize we're going to be here Friday night, Saturday, Saturday

  4. night and then Sunday morning, Sunday night.

  5. And and so being aware of that, I have it in my spirit that this

  6. is to prepare you for. And here's the thing, you know,

  7. obviously on Wednesday night, you want everyone on Sunday to

  8. show up on Wednesday at the end of the day.

  9. I don't believe there should be a drop off.

  10. You know, now if people work during this time, that's a

  11. different ball game. But if they do not work, I don't

  12. care if you got you have kids, your children in sports, I don't

  13. care if you're coming from work. And you know, when you work on,

  14. you know, sanitation truck come doesn't matter.

  15. Just show up because there's things God wants to impart.

  16. But when you do come on Wednesday and Sunday, then what

  17. that typically means is that you're really wanting to be a

  18. disciple and that you're hungry for the word of God.

  19. And it's amazing what God can do with hunger, what he can do with

  20. hunger because God desires that none would perish.

  21. Now that's a desire, but that's not going to happen.

  22. He desires that none would perish, but that all would come

  23. to repentance. But we know not all are going to

  24. come to repentance. And when they stand before him

  25. on that day, the Great White Throne Judgment, He's going to

  26. let them know every opportunity they had to hear and hear, and

  27. they did hear and yet didn't receive him.

  28. Amen. So again, you know, we go

  29. through life a lot of times, you know, and if we don't watch out,

  30. you know, we're picking, you know, what we do, when we do,

  31. how we do. And the reality is God's going

  32. to hold us accountable to all the opportunities he set before

  33. you. And did you make those

  34. opportunities? All right, These are divine

  35. appointments. And, you know, I could see a

  36. service going every day. It could happen you know could

  37. the world get so bad that we need to assemble everyday just

  38. to keep ourselves sane and in the word and focus on the things

  39. of God. If that's what was necessary,

  40. sure. However, you know God does have

  41. divine times that he wants to do things with congregations.

  42. Obviously with us. We're doing a Kingdom rise

  43. coming this Friday and those who are set aside time something

  44. very specific to do some different impartation.

  45. So tonight I want to talk to you about expecting, because

  46. expecting is the door for more. It is a door for more.

  47. Now you should expect every service, don't get me wrong, but

  48. not every service is set up the same.

  49. You know, there is a services that we do on Sunday, Wednesday,

  50. things we do with the schools, things we do with the men on

  51. Monday. I mean, there's a repetition and

  52. a discipline aspect of that. And that's a part of God.

  53. In fact, one of the keys of being a disciple is you must be

  54. disciplined. All right.

  55. But then there are times that God does the extraordinary.

  56. He does things a little bit different than just the

  57. day-to-day. He shows up in ways that are not

  58. common. You didn't expect in you're

  59. expecting because when you do expect, you give the Lord the

  60. license to go exceeding abundantly far beyond what you

  61. could think or imagine, which tells us you're thinking you're

  62. imagining. This is why your imagination you

  63. should cultivate because the minute I hit that scripture that

  64. God will do exceedingly abundantly beyond what I can

  65. think or imagine, I'm like, I need to be a thinker and I need

  66. to be at imagine big because then it it puts God in the

  67. position and says, Oh, you think that's something amazing.

  68. How about this? And then all of a sudden,

  69. something you weren't even thinking about, our imagining is

  70. even bigger than you thought. Because I mean, how can our

  71. finite minds even get around our creator God?

  72. However, we should strive to want to know him, Paul said.

  73. I want to know him. I want to know him, you know, so

  74. we want to have a discipline and that's not a knowing him when we

  75. go to heaven. That's a knowing him day in and

  76. day out, knowing intimately, how does he function?

  77. What's he doing? How can I be involved with the

  78. work that he's doing because he wants to Co labor with me

  79. because I'm Co laboring with him.

  80. And there are many things we can do together, but expectation

  81. really opens up the door for more.

  82. So I'm going to show you this in Acts chapter 3, starting in

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  83. verse one through 5, it says now Peter and John were going up to

  84. the temple at the 9th hour, the hour of prayer, OK.

  85. And it went on to say that the man who had and a man who had

  86. been lame from his mother's womb was being carried along, whom

  87. they used to sit down every day. How many days?

  88. Every day. So when's the hour to pray?

  89. The 9th hour. But how many days?

  90. Apparently every day. Something's going on at temple

  91. every day because if nothing was going, if this guy came to the

  92. US churches, right? I mean, you better get the

  93. mother lode one day, you know, most.

  94. Anyway, he went there every day at the of the temple, which is

  95. called beautiful, OK, in order to beg arms of those who were

  96. entering the temple. Now, why is he doing this?

  97. Oh, first of all, he's going to a place where God dwells #2 he's

  98. going to a place where people are the probably the most

  99. compassionate, right? In essence, he's going to God,

  100. although he's not in the temple. And you understand, if we were

  101. under if, if he's up underneath the thought of the law, there's

  102. some challenges that go with being in the temple anyway.

  103. And I'm not going to get into all the challenges that get into

  104. that. But there were some issues,

  105. especially if people had issues with blood couldn't even go

  106. worship in the temple. The leprosies couldn't go into

  107. the temple. You know, there was many things

  108. that restricted them from being in there.

  109. So here he is, he's going to God, he's going to the gate.

  110. He's allowing God's people to come past him.

  111. He obviously cannot work. If he could work, he would work,

  112. but he cannot. So he's left to this lifestyle

  113. of basically looking for the generosity of those who go to

  114. the creator in heaven and earth to give to the poor.

  115. All right, so it says when Peter and John came, right, they saw

  116. when when he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he

  117. was asking to receive alms. So obviously he asked the

  118. question. You have not caused you all

  119. right? But Peter along with John fixed

  120. his gaze on him and said. Now he, the beggar saw Peter.

  121. He asked. And why is he asking?

  122. Because he's expecting something.

  123. Why is he even at the gate? Because he's like if he

  124. expected. I never get anything when I go

  125. to this temple. Every time I show up, no one

  126. ever gives me a thing. I never get a thing.

  127. Nothing ever happens. Well, there's no expectation,

  128. you know what I'm saying? He's like, why am I going there?

  129. He's going somewhere where there's an expectation and he is

  130. expecting to receive. So here's he's expecting to

  131. receive alms, right? But Peter, because that he's in

  132. a layer of expectation. Peter moved into a Mordor

  133. because this man's never coming to the temple with this thought

  134. about what's about to happen. He is coming to God in provision

  135. God's people with compassion. There's an expectation that I

  136. will receive. I don't know where this guy's

  137. hearts at entirely, although we probably can see it pretty

  138. clear. The minute that happened, either

  139. that was an instant conversion or his heart was towards God.

  140. He just had limitations. He could not, you know, exercise

  141. his praise as much as he wanted to in his condition.

  142. Regardless, we see here that Peter fixed his gaze on him and

  143. said look at us and he began to give them his attention.

  144. Here it is expecting to receive something from them.

  145. What's he expecting money. OK now Peter let's go on next

  146. verse says this. Oh that's stop there five.

  147. OK Peter then just goes on to say what silver and gold I have

  148. none. Although he had gold, he just

  149. saying I'm not going, I'm not giving you what you want.

  150. I'm going to give you what you're not expecting.

  151. We God decided to do an exceeding abundant for you today

  152. because God just doesn't want you in the receiving mode.

  153. God wants you to be able to not only receive, but to be able to

  154. give because he's in a position that basically he's receiving.

  155. Now, I'm not saying he couldn't give his arms away.

  156. I'm just saying he's not productive in society because he

  157. cannot work because he's lame from his mother's womb.

  158. But God just elevated his status of life.

  159. You know what we're talking about and not a, a Western

  160. philosophy here. You know, in the Eastern there

  161. was, there were classes of people, you know, and, and, and

  162. these individuals that were beggars, you know, they were

  163. looked down upon. God just elevated him out of

  164. that. He was no longer limited to a

  165. type of work. And so as a result of that,

  166. Peter says they weren't going to have none but what I do have I

  167. give to you in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk grabs

  168. him and snatches his up out of the ground.

  169. He didn't say how are you feeling?

  170. Didn't do they said come on now try.

  171. Can you let me let's work a little bit.

  172. The Bible says that that he snatched him up.

  173. Peter was so convinced he had heard God without any evidence

  174. of what he heard, he grabs the man and snatches him up.

  175. And when his legs came out from his cloak, they were

  176. strengthened and hit the ground strong.

  177. Now I'm not telling you they were Pastor Mike's legs when

  178. they came out. They probably look more like

  179. mine. However, they had strength to

  180. them, right? OK, so he pulled him up.

  181. There he is. This man received more than he

  182. expected, but he did not come without expectation.

  183. If you understand, here's the thing.

  184. If, if you do not come to any service, you know, if you do not

  185. come to service expecting, then you're getting exactly what you

  186. came for. If you're coming with this, show

  187. me. Let's see what you got.

  188. You're not getting anything. You understand God does not move

  189. on people like that because he's had plenty of religion.

  190. People say, well, you far show me a miracle.

  191. Do some. He's like you seek.

  192. All you do is seek a sign. What did he say about those

  193. people? He said, you perverse and wicked

  194. generation, all you do is seek a sign.

  195. Now, there's nothing wrong with science.

  196. God uses science to declare that God's full of authority, power,

  197. He's supreme. The point though, is when we

  198. have expectation, it moves God not only to meet your

  199. expectation, but to exceed your expectation.

  200. But if you just like, well, if this is really God in this

  201. place, let's just see what happened.

  202. Well, you know what? You'll walk out not thinking he

  203. was here and he's jumped all around you and you didn't even

  204. know because God's not obligated to, to prove himself to you.

  205. He's God. He's God.

  206. I said he's God. So we have to keep our mindset

  207. in this. I'm expecting God.

  208. I mean, I'm going to tell you I've not arrived to a place

  209. where I don't, I don't need to expect anything.

  210. I mean, how much more? The more I discover about God,

  211. the more I realized what I still don't know.

  212. And it drives me to want to know and desire to know and to see

  213. things happen, you know, and experience things happen and to

  214. be sometimes I'm just, a lot of times I come in to just expect

  215. God to do something in someone else's life so they know that

  216. God meets their expectation. And if that happens, I'm like,

  217. praise God because I know, I know that he's alive, that he

  218. loves me, that he cares for me, that he always meets the

  219. expectation. Now, I could technically take

  220. this word and we could use the the term we're most familiar

  221. with when we talk about expectation.

  222. It's called hope, which is confident expectation.

  223. But I'm not going to say hope today because you know, in the

  224. church today, most of them do not know biblical hope.

  225. It is not. Most people do not have a

  226. biblical hope. They have secular hope, which is

  227. wishful thinking. It may happen, it may not

  228. happen. If it does, great.

  229. If it doesn't, well, God knew better.

  230. Well, God doesn't function that way.

  231. God always does what He says He does His word.

  232. So that's why hope biblically is a confident expectation because

  233. when God speaks, you can confidently expect, which now

  234. moves you over into faith that I'm going to have exactly what

  235. he says. And not only what he says, but

  236. he can do exceeding abundantly. It can open the door for more.

  237. You could literally be believing God for a financial breakthrough

  238. and God do way more than your financial breakthrough.

  239. You know, your financial breakthrough may not be getting

  240. a raise. It could be someone pays off

  241. your house. Well, that'd be a pretty good

  242. breakthrough. I mean, God's not obligated to

  243. meet your need the way you think he's supposed to meet your need

  244. at all. However, if we have ears to hear

  245. got to do some awesome things in our life.

  246. Look at this in Psalms 27 verse 14.

    Psalms 27:14

  247. It says wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

  248. Be strong and let your heart take courage.

  249. Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

  250. So we see here that the psalmist is saying wait for now.

  251. This word wait is not passive. This is not passive.

  252. If if you are a person that says you're waiting, but you're have

  253. no attention to that which you're waiting, you are not

  254. waiting. You have forgotten.

  255. If all of a sudden someone's supposed to meet you and you've

  256. gotten so busy that when they showed up, you're like, oh,

  257. you're here. I forgot.

  258. Well, I thought you were waiting.

  259. Well, I am. I mean, I'm here.

  260. No, you're not waiting. You had no attitude of waiting.

  261. You were distracted. I mean, they could have passed

  262. you by and you never would have known because you had no

  263. expectation. So when we're talking about

  264. waiting, there's an expectation. What do we call pregnant women

  265. expecting? Right.

  266. And there's something about it. I mean, if it was like, oh, I

  267. didn't know I was having a baby, right?

  268. I mean, what kind of wife would be excited about their husbands?

  269. Like, oh, I went on the fishing trip.

  270. I didn't, I didn't know that you were due.

  271. I mean, hey, I'm here, right? I mean, I was just waiting on

  272. the fishing trip. I mean, you're like, you're not

  273. waiting. You had no expectation of what's

  274. going on here, right? Because when you're waiting on

  275. someone with expectation, you're standing at the door just kind

  276. of checking, right? I mean, when I wait on my my

  277. wife, which we do this, as you know, is I could track her, she

  278. can track me, right? It's fun.

  279. And so I'm like, I texted her the other day.

  280. I said, Ah, so you went to Target instead of Walmart Right

  281. Now the reason I check is because I'm waiting on her

  282. return. That's the only reason, not

  283. because I'm concerned about where she's at.

  284. I know where she's at. She tells me she doesn't lie,

  285. she doesn't deviate. I don't have that issue.

  286. What I'm saying is is that sometimes she'll she'll be, you

  287. know, tracking me and I'll give her, Hey, I'm almost I'm letting

  288. her know why? Because there's this expectation

  289. we're about to meet again, right.

  290. So again, you're kind of looking today.

  291. My wife had went out, had the dentist and I was at the house

  292. myself in preparation. And I hit man wonder where she's

  293. at. She's coming back.

  294. I'm expect she should be. You know, I feel like she should

  295. be here by now. So I was just about to pull out

  296. where she was and there she was. I tried to play it cool, stayed

  297. on the couch, you know, does she open the door?

  298. But sometimes tell, tell them the truth.

  299. Now I'll stand out in the driveway and watch her drive

  300. down. That's called waiting on

  301. something. There's an expectation.

  302. I want to see it. I want to, I want it to arrive.

  303. I want it to be in my possession.

  304. I want it to be here where I can see it.

  305. And you know, we if we're going to be here with God or when we

  306. go into special meetings, you know, the set aside times that

  307. God speaking to us, we got to say, you know what, I'm coming

  308. with an expectation, right, I'm coming with an expectation not

  309. oh, forgot we had a service. You're not waiting and there's

  310. no expectation. But when you're like excited,

  311. then you're doing. You mean, I know I could talk to

  312. parents right now. You tell your children you're

  313. going to Disney, they're like talking about it.

  314. They're having a conversation, they're waiting, they're

  315. counting down to days. They're reminding, you see,

  316. that's waiting where we're going.

  317. Just got to wait a couple more days and then they let you know

  318. next day, you know, we going to Disney in two days.

  319. I'm aware of that. That's called waiting.

  320. So it's not passive. It's this expectation.

  321. It's always on your mind. You're expecting something to

  322. happen and that's what he's saying.

  323. Wait for, confidently expect the Lord.

  324. Be strong and let your heart take courage yes.

  325. Wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

  326. That means that if I'm believing God's going to give a word to me

  327. to answer something that I, you know, need an answer for, well,

  328. then I should come to service with a confident expectancy.

  329. He's going to speak to me and whether he speaks to me through

  330. a song, whether he speaks to me through the written word,

  331. whether he speaks to me through a sentence or two.

  332. That's have been priests, whether it comes through the

  333. gifts of the spirit through the through the whoever ministers or

  334. maybe even just within the congregation.

  335. You know, it seems like the Lord's saying then you know

  336. what, why? If you're like, I know I'm going

  337. to get it. I know I'm going to get what God

  338. has for me. You have to have expectation.

  339. All right, Proverbs chapter 3, excuse me, chapter 8 verse 34

    Proverbs 3 chapter mention

  340. Proverbs 834 says blessed is the man who listens to me watching

  341. daily at my gates, waiting at my doorposts.

  342. You know, a lot of times we miss God is because we're really not

  343. waiting. Now I didn't intentionally did

  344. not use the scripture tonight. Those who wait on the Lord.

  345. OK, you know, can we use that a lot?

  346. However, I do want to clarify that scripture when it says

  347. those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.

  348. That word wait is where we get the word waiter.

  349. And wait again is not passive. It means engaging and serving.

  350. So that's not sitting in, you know, sitting in your house

  351. waiting for God to bring it. It's you actually serving God.

  352. You're waiting on the Lord. I'm here to serve you.

  353. I'm your waiter. How can I wait on you?

  354. What do you need me to do for you?

  355. Because when I wait on you, then he'll say, why don't you just

  356. you know what? I, I'm on one on the menu.

  357. I just want you to sing a praise.

  358. So you sing a praise to him. You deliver a praise to his

  359. table. Come on.

  360. You deliver a praise to his table.

  361. All right. And then, you know, you deliver

  362. what else he says whatever else. And you know what?

  363. He'll give you the fattest tip you've ever had in your life.

  364. I mean, it's called life changing tips because God is a

  365. rewarder to those who diligently seek him.

  366. So waiting on the Lord is like, I just wish you'd talk to me.

  367. You need to go serve him. You need to go pray to him.

  368. You need to go sing to him. You need to go worship.

  369. You need to go exalt his name. You need to remind, you need to

  370. remind yourself how holy, how blameless, how awesome he is.

  371. You're bringing stuff to his table and, and even I was

  372. talking to someone today sometimes you bring Isaiah 26 to

  373. him. You bring your case before the

  374. Lord Lord. I'm bringing my case to you in

  375. essence, like a waiter. This happened to me at Black

  376. Mild the other day. I was betwixt between two

  377. places, 2 plates, let's put it that way.

  378. I was betwixt between two plates, whether to eat shrimp

  379. and crab cakes or to go on and have shrimp and fish.

  380. And so my waiter says I'll pick it for you.

  381. I'm like, that's cool. Surprise me.

  382. It's going to be one of the other.

  383. I didn't know. And he picked the shrimp and

  384. grit cake. And I wasn't disappointed

  385. because I didn't know which one I wanted.

  386. I was betwixt between two plates.

  387. He said I'll decide for you. No problem, right.

  388. So again, you can bring things to the Lord you're bringing your

  389. case now, Lord, we could go this way in this issue.

  390. We could go here. All I know is your word says

  391. this, your word says here and I'm bringing this before you.

  392. This is what's on the menu. You tell me what you want to do

  393. and then the Lord to give you some information.

  394. OK, so we are we are waiting on the Lord.

  395. But here's the thing that says blessed is the man who listens

  396. to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorpost.

  397. It's amazing how fast we'll go to everyone else.

  398. I mean, there's nothing wrong with seeking advice.

  399. There's nothing wrong with being surrounded by a multitude of

  400. counsel. If the council live godly lives,

  401. and I can even say it this way, the council is authorized in

  402. your life. However, ultimately the scene

  403. realm isn't where we go first. We need to go to the Lord.

  404. And when we go to the scene realm to ask, it should only

  405. start to confirm something already on the inside of us,

  406. because that's the real direction we want.

  407. Now sometimes it will happen that someone says the Lord will

  408. give you the idea through someone, but it'll be confirmed

  409. in your spirit. But again, you have to wait on

  410. that. I know that through the

  411. multiplicity of different things that I have to make decisions

  412. on, I'm like, OK Lord, how in the world do you want me to

  413. handle that one? And I go to scripture and I talk

  414. to him and I'm like, Lord, where you at?

  415. You know, and sometimes people are sending emails and wanting a

  416. response and wanting this and I'm like, I don't have an answer

  417. and I'm not letting their so-called emergencies move me.

  418. I'm just going to hang out at the gates.

  419. I'm going to stand by the doorposts because I know this.

  420. When he speaks, I'll be blessed because I'm going to listen.

  421. I'm going to do it his way. Hey, man, Hallelujah.

  422. Just because you can go to I don't want to say things too

  423. loud and it just all the ask me stuff.

  424. Just because you can go there quick doesn't mean God's going

  425. to respond to you the same way. Because God's not artificial

  426. intelligence. He is the source of

  427. intelligence. He's beyond intelligent.

  428. He's wisdom, right? So don't get so conditioned that

  429. thinking fast is the right answer.

  430. Nothing wrong with it, I have no problem with it.

  431. I use it myself to gain access to certain pieces of

  432. information. But even then, I'm skeptical

  433. because I'm like, I mean, at all the information in the world

  434. this thing's drawing from, how many of these sources are even

  435. right? Because I might have, I might

  436. discredit some sources. You know, there's plenty of

  437. things written in libraries that are false, but they're written

  438. and AI is pulling that information, compiling it based

  439. upon subjects. So, you know, unfortunately, I

  440. kind of missed the old reference catalog where I could see the

  441. book and see who it was. And then you could go track down

  442. the individual and say, talk to me about this.

  443. I need to know if your sourcing is right.

  444. But I'm glad I can go to the author of the Bible that's

  445. called, he's called the Holy Ghost, and he will talk to me.

  446. Amen. All right, limitation.

  447. Chapter 3, verse 25 says it this way.

  448. The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly

  449. for him, to those who seek him. Why aren't we supposed to seek

  450. Him anyway? Acquire of and for and for him

  451. and require him by right of necessity and on the authority

  452. of God's word. Man, that's so good.

  453. So again, let me tell you that the Lord is good to those who

  454. wait hopefully and expectantly for him in our society today

  455. where, you know, people can say anything they wanted to as fast

  456. as they want to and and they can respond, you know, any way they

  457. want to. You know, it takes a real man

  458. and woman of God to be able to be quick to hear, slow to speak

  459. and slow to wrath. And you know, I'm not going to

  460. say, you know, Christians are doing a 100% great at that.

  461. However, the Bible tells us that God is good to those who wait,

  462. you know, and so when you're confronted with something, it's

  463. always good to do this right. Take a step back.

  464. Now they teach you that in the outfield as well.

  465. When they hit in the outfield that instead of running up on

  466. the ball, especially in softball, because the minute you

  467. do, then you're like, it floats and it's go.

  468. So they always tell them take a step back first and then go

  469. towards the ball. Now, I didn't play outfield, I

  470. played infield. And so, you know, you just took

  471. off because it's usually coming. But with that being said, same

  472. thing in the Spirit, you need to take a step back, stop.

  473. Listen. Hearing is important.

  474. Hearing is the foundation for us to have faith.

  475. Faith comes by. So you can't rush in talking.

  476. You got to step back in here so that you can then.

  477. But if you step back to here with no expectation, then guess

  478. what you're going to hear crickets, right?

  479. Crickets. Amen.

  480. You know, and if I was being ChatGPT ish, you know, delay

  481. does not mean denial. I understand.

  482. OK, Micah Chapter 7 verse 7 says, But As for me, I will

    Micah 7:7

  483. watch expectantly for the Lord. I will wait for the God of my

  484. salvation. My God will hear me.

  485. I'm curious in the realm of faith, you know, how many people

  486. come to service in faith just to hear from God?

  487. I mean, what layers on a consistent basis Are you in

  488. expectation? I expect to hear something from

  489. the word I've not heard before. I mean, is there that in you?

  490. Is there that you know? I mean, are you in the

  491. expectation of we earnestly desire spiritual gifts and we

  492. know that you move on the body as it pleases.

  493. You can be me today and I expect it can be me.

  494. If it's your will to be me and I'll move, I'll yield.

  495. But if it's not, I'm expecting it nonetheless.

  496. Now again, God doesn't have to do it, but if the expectations

  497. not there, then why is He doing anything right now?

  498. When it comes to other meetings, other meetings are not better.

  499. They're just designed to do what they're ordained to do.

  500. Do you know how many believers run from conference to

  501. conference to conference to conference to Holy Ghost

  502. meeting, the Holy Ghost meeting, the Holy Ghost meeting?

  503. Because they're trying to get in this little bubble thinking

  504. that's the expression of God, which that is a expression, and

  505. many of them miss this expression of day in and day

  506. out. You need both aspects, Both.

  507. This is why we have specific services throughout the year on

  508. different things, whether it's a marriage conference, you know, a

  509. workshop we would call whatever we call it, or parenting, or,

  510. you know, something to do specific with men or something

  511. to do specific with women. You know, we do a men's meeting.

  512. It's designed specifically for the male.

  513. And we should expect something different in that service than

  514. just what we would have when we are here together like this.

  515. Yet expectations should be in everything.

  516. And here's the thing, the greatest struggle you'll have in

  517. our special meetings is to expect from Apostle Marcy and I,

  518. because it's pretty easy to expect from a guest minister,

  519. because the guest minister, you don't hear them every day.

  520. So your expectation is based upon my communication.

  521. You need to receive the gift of God.

  522. I want you to pull on them. I wouldn't want you to come in

  523. and be skeptical. Well, I've never heard.

  524. That's irrelevant. You're not hearing, doesn't

  525. matter. The same principle will apply.

  526. I am going to take everything that I hear, put it with the

  527. Word of God, and receive what's of God.

  528. That's pretty simple principle. So it doesn't matter whether

  529. you've heard them or not. You should expect that you would

  530. hear God through them. Now, you already know that we're

  531. going to vet them before we really let them in the pulpit

  532. anyway. So we're really not going to put

  533. somebody in and go like, I don't know what they're going to say

  534. either. And if it's bad, we'll clean it

  535. up. I mean, I, we don't bring people

  536. in like that, OK. I mean, we already have some

  537. kind of relationship. There's something the Holy Ghost

  538. has already, you know, done. And I'm not saying that people

  539. can't make mistakes. I'm just saying that, you know,

  540. you, you purposely do that. But because they're not our

  541. vocal cords, then all of a sudden the expectation of

  542. someone that you have no relationship becomes greater and

  543. more things can move in those services simply because of a

  544. greater expectation of the unknown person.

  545. This is why the traveling minister is pretty it can be

  546. dangerous for them because they live off.

  547. They live off the expectation the pastor has given about them.

  548. They don't have to establish any credibility themselves with

  549. anyone. They have borrowed reputation.

  550. But yet the people will then elevate their voice even above

  551. their own pastors. Oh, I'm preaching better than

  552. your Amen. But that's OK.

  553. This is the tough deal because again, most of the time they

  554. don't come in with a message of correction anyway.

  555. They come in with something, you know, that's edifying,

  556. encouraging, and then, you know, things can happen because the

  557. body's expected and then things happen.

  558. And then all of a sudden we have such a great service with them.

  559. Can't wait till they're back yet.

  560. The one that is laboring over your soul day in and day out.

  561. Do they get crumbs of your expectation?

  562. Hallelujah. I'm glad that's not in this

  563. house. And if there is, just look at

  564. your name or say get it right. I'll have to slap you because

  565. you need a good spanking. Hallelujah.

  566. Amen. No, that's why Hebrews says to

  567. obey those who give watch over your soul.

  568. And again, they're not obeying you to tell you what to do with

  569. your life. They're the obedience that you

  570. are to obey us. The word says this.

  571. You should apply this to this, and that's what you're obeying.

  572. You're not obeying their every whim.

  573. That's foolishness. OK, so Micah again said, But As

  574. for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord.

  575. I just want us to really ratchet up our expectation because

  576. again, Apostle Marcy's doing Friday night, you know, and I

  577. would hate for us like, well, we'll wait till Saturday because

  578. we always get to hear her. But you don't get to hear what

  579. she's going to do Friday night, nor in the environment of that

  580. particular anointing of that meeting because how she

  581. ministers here. But again, if you come with the

  582. expect, well, she's probably just going to preach like she

  583. does on Sunday and Wednesday, Guess what?

  584. Then you're not pulling on something different.

  585. But if you say, you know what, we're in a different meeting.

  586. We're in Kingdom rise, there's a different impartation.

  587. And so, Lord, I don't, I expect something beyond our regular

  588. church services. I expect an anointing and

  589. impartation of revelation. Something's going to happen.

  590. I expect that Pastor Apostle Marcy is going to minister

  591. something most likely under the prophetic.

  592. She's going to move over into that prophetic role and I'm

  593. going to pull on the prophetic in her life because that these

  594. meetings would be set up for that.

  595. And I expect, Lord, that she's going to say things that she'll

  596. openly have to admit. I did not study this.

  597. It just came up in my spirit. The reason these things come up

  598. in the spirit is because the congregation has the

  599. expectation. Now, I can tell you this, two or

  600. three people can do this and change an environment.

  601. It can happen with just a couple.

  602. What would have happened if everybody here shows up Friday

  603. night and brings that kind of expectation?

  604. Then you go ahead tomorrow, call the ones that you know normally

  605. you hang out with and see at church and say, hey, aren't you

  606. excited about you're going to be there Friday, right?

  607. Look, man, you're going to have to be expected.

  608. I'm telling you, it's going to be and you go ahead and build

  609. theirs up, right? Because again, this, I'm not

  610. hyping you. This is I'm reading scripture.

  611. This is not hype, this is you in your spirit saying I have a

  612. godly expectation and godly expectation makes a demand on

  613. something, but it will open the door for the exceedingly

  614. abundant. I mean, don't you want to leave

  615. Sunday night and and have your mind blown with what God has

  616. done? I do, I want that.

  617. I want my mind blown on what God has done.

  618. Glory to God I believe in that He can speak through me like

  619. he's never spoken through me before in that setting and it be

  620. life changing. Oh Hallelujah Psalms 53 I'm

  621. almost done two more verses. I'll probably get you out early

  622. so you have no excuse. Say you held us there till, held

  623. us hostage on Wednesday night till 10:00.

  624. Psalms 5 and three says this. And the new living translation

  625. says listen to my voice in the morning.

  626. Lord, each morning I bring my request to you and wait

  627. patiently. I mean, I'm, I'm hoping that

  628. you're praying out your expectation so that Friday,

  629. Saturday or Sunday, it's met 'cause I do believe God will do

  630. something in this small sliver of time because of the anointing

  631. of this particular service. Hallelujah.

  632. You know, God can do, God does amazing things, period, period.

  633. He does amazing things. Should we expect, right?

  634. But again, all these scriptures that I have read today is not

  635. hype. It's a godly something that God

  636. wants us who are in covenant with Him to be in this position

  637. in our heart, in our heart. Not impress me.

  638. That's a religious person. All right, I'll believe it when

  639. I see it. That's a religious person.

  640. You know, you just sit back and let's watch and see what

  641. happens. No, cause again, like tonight,

  642. obviously we did worship different. 2 reasons, one

  643. because I let our worship team and I said we are way too, God

  644. is way too talented to do worship the same way all the

  645. time with the exact same instruments.

  646. I mean did you see the cello people?

  647. We had a cello on the platform. This is amazing, you know, I

  648. mean all these awesome instruments that are out there

  649. and we've relegated in the Western culture to just, you

  650. know, guitar, bass, drums, keys and all these other instruments

  651. are out there. You say, well, we're past

  652. orchestras. God's not past orchestras.

  653. No, I I believe he loves all those sounds and we just don't

  654. have the talent base apparently to have them in.

  655. And if you have can play another instrument, you're like, well,

  656. well, I play the trumpet. Why you holding out?

  657. And we might not have you play every song with the trumpet, but

  658. we will make some arrangements so that you can bring your gift.

  659. There's no reason why trump is we, you understand, God is not

  660. coming back with electric guitar.

  661. And I heard the sound of electric guitar from heaven.

  662. It's not a bass. It's not even the drums,

  663. although it will sound like Thunder.

  664. So it's probably kind of God's Thunder, right?

  665. Thunder and lightning. However, it will be a trumpet

  666. the trump will sound. And that we don't even have a

  667. Trump. I would hate for you to miss it

  668. because you don't know what they sound like anymore.

  669. All right, Thank you, Christopher.

  670. I like you. He's with me.

  671. OK, So the expectation of these meetings, I mean, it's all on

  672. you because I know what I'm going to be doing on Friday

  673. night. I know what I'm going to do on

  674. Saturday. I'm talking about when I'm

  675. sitting, hearing. If something moves me, I'll

  676. stand. Something makes me want to jump,

  677. I'll jump. Something makes me want to

  678. dance, I'll dance. Doesn't matter if I just sense

  679. it should happen. I'll do it even if I don't feel

  680. it Doesn't matter because it's that OK.

  681. Whatever expression God wants to have, we want.

  682. And it's not. We're not making it happen.

  683. We just have an expectation that anything can happen.

  684. According to scripture, not what's not scripture.

  685. So don't come up and be throwing up and saying, you know, we're

  686. getting rid of demons. That's we're not doing that.

  687. That kind of stuff was all wrong.

  688. OK, but we want to come with great expectation.

  689. All right, Last scripture is this Luke chapter 8 verse 40.

    Luke 8:40

  690. Oh, I was saying the band. Second reason is that we have a

  691. new stage design that we're unveiling for Kingdom Rise.

  692. And I'm letting you know it is our last stage design in this

  693. sanctuary. I will not do another one

  694. because the new one is the new sanctuary.

  695. So if I want you to get bored with it quick, so we can go on

  696. to to the to the next conquering territory.

  697. All right, Luke chapter 8 verse 4 says this.

    Luke 8:4

  698. The Williams translation says now as Jesus was returning, the

  699. crowd welcomed him for they were all expecting him.

  700. Are you expecting God to move? Are you expecting God to

  701. manifest when apostle Apostle Joshua Adams begins to are you

  702. expecting now in order to have an expectation, you have to be

  703. somewhere you can't expect and then not arrive.

  704. See here says now Jesus was returning.

  705. This is after he ministered to some people.

  706. He gets in a boat and he goes to the other side.

  707. When he gets to the other side, he casts the devil out and then

  708. he won't let the guy come back with him, but go tell everybody

  709. about what he's done. When he shows backup, people are

  710. waiting on him, meaning this not in 124 hour period.

  711. But what's happened is, is that they were ministered by him.

  712. They couldn't get enough. And so they were always, he

  713. went, he's going to come back and they kept coming to the

  714. shore. Waiting is a rival and when he

  715. showed up, two things happened. Jairus's daughter was raised

  716. from the dead and the woman with the issue of blood.

  717. In this account, Luke was healed from her infirmity.

  718. Expectation opened that door, something greater than they

  719. could even imagine because Jairus just wanted her daughter.

  720. His daughter healed. He wasn't even believing for her

  721. to be raised from the dead because when he was told she was

  722. dead he sunk emotionally and Jesus had to say only believe

  723. right now. The one with the issue of blood.

  724. That was a whole nother ball game.

  725. Jesus didn't even know she was around till after she touched

  726. him and then power left him. Do you understand?

  727. That's pretty powerful. Number one, it shows the

  728. humanity of Jesus that He was all God, but also all man, and

  729. He was functioning as a man, anointed of God, of which God

  730. withheld from him. This woman coming.

  731. He did not let Jesus know. So Jesus was ignorant of the

  732. fact a woman is pressing through the crowd with a blood problem.

  733. He did not know this as Jesus in the flesh, but when she touched

  734. the hem of His garment with what expected if I just touches him.

  735. I mean, I need some people in this room tonight say if I just

  736. touches him. If I just touches him.

  737. You got to come with some. I mean, because some of you may

  738. be in situations that it's that desperate if I just touches him

  739. right. Don't don't disregard the power

  740. of God. Don't come in, you know, because

  741. she could have said, well, if he's really a man of God and

  742. he's really, and God talks to him, they got to tell him my

  743. address and he'll show up at my house.

  744. Did not happen. She heard he was in town because

  745. of all the commotion. She said, oh, I've heard about

  746. him because he had just been in the community and this man can

  747. change me and I'm not waiting for him to come.

  748. I'll get to him. And if I just touches him, I'm

  749. going to be healed. And she touched it.

  750. Power left him. Not only did he have power to

  751. heal her, he still had power, more than enough power to raise

  752. a girl up. Oh my gosh.

  753. I mean, you can't pull power. He's like, I got to sit down and

  754. and and get not just keep pulling on the power.

  755. He'll have enough power for you. Kelsey have no power for you,

  756. Matt. You have no power for for you

  757. and you and you. I can just go around Wayne.

  758. He has no power for you. Just pull the power out.

  759. I mean, y'all, we all can just touch his him all weekend long.

  760. You can do a Friday night, you can do a Saturday morning.

  761. You can do a Saturday night. You do a Sunday morning, do a

  762. Sunday night and he'll still be releasing power at your

  763. expectation. So don't let King the Kingdom

  764. rises for us and there will be some guests in the room, but

  765. man, pull on. Don't miss this opportunity

  766. because power is ready to come, revelations ready to come,

  767. change is ready, transformation an anointing different than just

  768. our services that can become such a marker in your life that

  769. you'll set up a spiritual memorial and say it was on this

  770. day that God said this and changed the course of my life.
