  1. Where would you stand for the reading of the word?

  2. I do want to thank you. You know, we have not had an

  3. official staff meeting since Kingdom Rise.

  4. And so again, I asked you to be patient with us that until we

  5. can communicate this out, we all get in the habit that when that

  6. first set of scripture comes out, we're going to stand and

  7. I'm going to probably repeat this all month, you know, so do

  8. not get tired of hearing it is to remind us.

  9. The reason we are doing this is Apostle Morrissey referenced

  10. this occasion when Ezra of the the priest did the reading of

  11. the word after they had come out of Babylon and they were

  12. rebuilding the walls in Jerusalem.

  13. And when they read the word that said the people stood and the

  14. Lord spoke to me and says you've done really real well at

  15. teaching the students at Washington to honor authority,

  16. that every time an adult comes in the room they stand up.

  17. Don't you think it's time that we do that with the word?

  18. Amen. Now, it's not that we were

  19. lacking in respect. It's just some of these things

  20. can become traditional. So what we have to do is

  21. reminder this is not a tradition.

  22. We are standing for the first reading of whatever, however

  23. many scriptures we do. And you're imagining with your,

  24. your faith eye that we have been transported, as Paul said, to

  25. the 3rd heaven. And now we are standing before

  26. the throne of which the Father is there.

  27. And he has leaned over to his son Jesus at his right hand and

  28. says, say this. And basically it's like, hear

  29. ye, hear ye. The king is speaking.

  30. And so we are in awe of the words that are coming out of the

  31. King's mouth. And so we are setting an

  32. atmosphere of saying, God, we honor you.

  33. You are king. You understand Jesus is not your

  34. homeboy. He's not your buddy, your pal.

  35. He is savior. He's king.

  36. He's Lord. He's to be respected.

  37. Now that doesn't mean that he couldn't joke with you that he's

  38. not has it would have one of the greatest personalities and easy

  39. to get along. But he's not a chump.

  40. He's not a chump. He's not someone you just kick

  41. back when it's all he don't man. You fall on your face when he's

  42. in the room. Are you hearing me?

  43. There is protocol in a Kingdom and we've treated Jesus like he

  44. just some back, you know, somebody that we just come in

  45. and you know, I can just talk to him so easy.

  46. I can talk always knowing He's on the throne with great honor

  47. and respect. And I will not allow myself to

  48. cross that line. Mark chapter 1, verses 21 to 27.

    Mark 1:21–27

  49. It says this. And they went to Capernaum, and

  50. immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and began

  51. to teach. And they were amazed at his

  52. teaching, for he was, for he was teaching them as one having

  53. authority, and not as the scribes.

  54. Just then there was a man in the synagogue with an unclean

  55. spirit, and he cried out, saying, What business do we have

  56. with each other? Jesus of Nazareth, have you come

  57. to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One

  58. of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying,

  59. Be quiet, come out of him, throwing him into a convulsion.

  60. The unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out

  61. of him. They were all amazed.

  62. So they debated among themselves, saying, what is

  63. this? A new teaching with authority?

  64. He commanded even unclean spirits, and they obey him.

  65. You can be seated. So today I want to start on

  66. Wednesday nights to discuss God's Kingdom authority because

  67. it's very important for us to understand authority if we are

  68. going to be people of faith, meaning operate in faith.

  69. You will not actually operate in faith until you truly understand

  70. authority. At the end of the day, most

  71. people that do not understand authority will say they're in

  72. faith, but the reality is they are in hope and they're almost

  73. not even in hope. They may be more in wishful

  74. thinking because wishful thinking is they know God can.

  75. They hope he does, but they already accept if he doesn't,

  76. it'll be all right. We're going to praise him

  77. anyway. Well, that's not knowing what

  78. he's going to do. Hope is actually in Bible

  79. definition. Hope is confident expectation,

  80. which means then you can confidently expect that what is

  81. being said will come to pass which then moves you over into a

  82. firm persuasion. Faith is a firm persuasion

  83. meaning what I have heard cause faith comes by hearing and

  84. hearing from the word of God. That's where our firms

  85. persuasion is to come from. We then become this unmoved.

  86. No other option is going to enter my mind.

  87. I will stay with the word that the King has spoken.

  88. It will be that way. No other way, period, because

  89. the King does not lie. God is not a man that he should.

  90. He should lie. God is not a man and we treat

  91. him like a man now. He came as a man, Jesus did, but

  92. he's still not a man that we treat him like.

  93. He's again a buddy in power. You're my buddy in power.

  94. I mean, man, you don't want that, all right?

  95. You want him as your king. So Jesus, he's here in the

  96. synagogue, which is the Jewish church, OK, we can say it that

  97. way. And he's ministering there.

  98. He is ministering from the same Torah and the papers of the

  99. prophets, both major and minor. And he would speak concerning

  100. and he would teach things. And it says that when he did

  101. this, that all the people were amazed at his teaching.

  102. And they said this. He was teaching as one having

  103. authority as one having authority, and they compared his

  104. teaching to the scribes they were used to hearing.

  105. But yet when the scribes use the same passages, it did not come

  106. across the same way. And in this case, there just

  107. happened to be another individual in the church that

  108. had an unclean spirit that apparently had no problem

  109. hanging out in the service when the scribes talked.

  110. But when Jesus talked, when authority started to speak and

  111. declare, all of a sudden that realm knows it must bow.

  112. You understand demons do not attack Jesus.

  113. There's nowhere can you find the scripture that the demonic

  114. attacks Jesus. When they are in a human vessel.

  115. They run to Jesus and then fall down and bow and then get into a

  116. plead agreement. In essence, they beg, they're

  117. begging. Not like the horror movies that

  118. we, you know, not we, you like to watch.

  119. All right, You know, because The Exorcist never would have turned

  120. out that way. If somebody from Anchor Faith

  121. Church would have been in the room, right?

  122. You'd have been like, shut up, come out.

  123. And then she would have been in her right mind and none of that

  124. puking stuff would have been happening and the movie would

  125. have been over, right? And people have been like, well,

  126. that wasn't very scary. Well, if you the reason it

  127. turned out like it is 'cause this guy in the movie, which I

  128. never watched the movie, you understand, I'm just giving you

  129. thought processes from what little clips that I've heard

  130. about or seen, period. But this guy obviously was of

  131. the line of the seven sons of Skiba, which is the only reason

  132. he had problems, because they didn't know who they were and

  133. they didn't know the authority. They knew Jesus had authority

  134. and they saw Paul function with that authority, but they

  135. themselves did not have that authority.

  136. Jesus preaches and they're like, man, this guy is teaching as one

  137. who has authority. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  138. So with that being said, look at Matthew chapter 15, verse 3,

    Matthew 15:3

  139. Matthew chapter 15, verse 3, Jesus saying to religious, the

    Matthew 15:3

  140. Pharisees, he said to them, why do you yourselves transgress the

  141. commandment of God for the sake of your traditions?

  142. So some traditions have manifested and he's saying

  143. there's an there's authority with the word that functions,

  144. but you have created traditions that have no authority, no

  145. power. He goes on in verse 7 to 9, he

  146. says you hypocrites. He says you hypocrites rightly

  147. did Isaiah prophecy of you. This people honor me with their

  148. lips, but their heart is far away from me.

  149. But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the

  150. precepts of men. Are you seeing that?

  151. So what can we learn from this? The difference between precepts

  152. of men or religion and the Kingdom of God is authority.

  153. It's authority. This is why every place that

  154. calls itself Church may not be functioning as what Jesus

  155. intended. Now I'm not here to judge that.

  156. I have no say about any other church anywhere in the planet.

  157. All I'm saying is, is that there are places that ascribe to the

  158. name Church, and yet they teach as doctrines, precepts of men.

  159. And in their teaching there is no authority, zero.

  160. In essence, they're teaching leaves you in ambiguity.

  161. It could, it couldn't, maybe it will, maybe it doesn't, but

  162. we're going to follow him anyway.

  163. We love God. It's a mystery, you know, His

  164. ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our

  165. thoughts. So, you know, maybe He'll heal

  166. you, maybe he won't. Can he?

  167. Yes. Can God deliver you?

  168. Can God set you free? Does God do?

  169. Yes. However, it could be your lot in

  170. life. Now you understand all those

  171. things sound genuine, but how do you attach faith to that?

  172. Will you attach faith to that? If you see faith as basically a

  173. belief of God, not bringing something from God's realm into

  174. this realm, manifesting something that God has said.

  175. Now, if we use faith, if, you know, if the church universally

  176. is just using faith as we believe in God, that's faith.

  177. Well, that's not Bible faith. That's just religious faith.

  178. Because again, Buddhists have faith.

  179. You know, Islam has faith. Zen is faith.

  180. New Age is faith. They have a belief system,

  181. right? But do they have authority?

  182. I said, do they have authority? And so again, you know, if we

  183. don't watch out, our teaching can become so concerned about

  184. saying something that some it may challenge someone's ability

  185. to believe firmly persuaded. So we leave layers of ambiguity.

  186. But then no one has nothing to attach itself to.

  187. Jesus left no layers of ambiguity.

  188. He said this is how it is Now. Do you understand?

  189. Jesus did not say my father could cast the devil out of

  190. this, this unclean spirit. He could do it.

  191. Now, whether he will or not, I don't know.

  192. I don't know what it would have seen, what would have happened

  193. in the synagogue that day. I mean, we probably could

  194. surmise, but again, Jesus is just mere teaching.

  195. Obviously there was something he was saying.

  196. They're like this guy's talking like it can happen because

  197. here's the word authority in this passage of Scripture.

  198. It's the Greek word exusia and it means power to act authority.

  199. In the new American Standard, it is translated 7 times

  200. authorities, 65 time authority, one time charge, one time

  201. control, 1/2 times domain, one time dominion, one time

  202. jurisdiction, one time liberty, 11 times power, one time powers,

  203. and 11 time right. Thayers says this.

  204. Most of us when we hear authority.

  205. I know I was taught this way because it is in a context and

  206. there's a reality to that context which is authority or

  207. this authority is delegated power.

  208. And I have no problem with that because the Father has absolute

  209. final authority, period, And he can delegate his final say.

  210. But Thayer's points out another definition of authority that I

  211. believe is really more fitting when you understand that Jesus

  212. is not just the one who saved the world, but is King of all

  213. creation. It is the power of rule or

  214. government, the power of him whose will and commands must be

  215. submitted to by others and obeyed.

  216. I'm going to say that again, this is a definition of the

  217. Greek word authority, the power of rule or government, the power

  218. of Him whose will and commands must be submitted to by others

  219. and obeyed. Now we said this forever because

  220. God's doing this. He will let you do whatever you

  221. want to do. However, He will hold you

  222. accountable to whatever you do. Now, how will He hold you

  223. accountable to your word, to your mama's word for you that

  224. you've been following, to your daddy's word for you that you've

  225. been following from your auntie's word, to your grandma's

  226. word, to your boss's word, to your president's word, to your

  227. spouse's word, or to his word? You understand, it's really easy

  228. when you have conversations with anyone it, it all comes down to,

  229. well, whose word are you believe in?

  230. Are you believing your take on it or his take, your take or his

  231. take? You know, there's a lot going

  232. around right now with the book of Enoch, a lot going around.

  233. It's not in the canonization of, of the Bible.

  234. But yeah, there's a lot. And you know, I have no problem

  235. that people have interest. But if we're not even going to

  236. master the 1st 66, you know, some are going to the Book of

  237. Enoch, which we call Enoch. That's Enoch.

  238. I say Enoch, but whichever one it is, OK, right.

  239. The man lived and went with the Lord.

  240. Pretty amazing. And there was something out

  241. there that Jude communicates about it.

  242. So there's something there. However, it's not what we would

  243. major on in order for us to live a life fully submitted to the

  244. word and Lordship of Jesus. Because you understand it is

  245. very significant based upon these particular right?

  246. Because again, you understand God, God has to make sure his

  247. word is in the earth that all could have access to.

  248. He's not holding a book out that would all of a sudden bring off

  249. all the missing. He's not doing that because he

  250. could not rightly judge you. Like if we only would have had

  251. that book Lord Lord's like bro, but he wouldn't say bro, you

  252. understand because he's not your buddy in power.

  253. He's the Lord would say I have given you the word.

  254. These canonizations or these writings are refute irrefutable.

  255. And if you there, there's so much trues in just the letter of

  256. Ephesus, the book of Romans, we wouldn't be able to mine out in

  257. our lifetime. And then we want to get over to

  258. 1st and 2nd Maccabees and all these other, you know, extended

  259. ones, if they they historically can help us understand some

  260. things. And most of this is 'cause, you

  261. know, we're just digging a little deeper.

  262. But the reality is, are we really submitted to his

  263. authority now? Because at the end of the day,

  264. what does the Bible say concerning Jesus's authority?

  265. How many knees going to bow? Every knee, every knee will bow,

  266. every tongue will confess. And that's not a Earl Glisten

  267. statement. That is a word of God statement

  268. Jesus his authority into the realm of the fallen.

  269. Had them obey that unclean spirit.

  270. Didn't say I'm not going right, right, right, right.

  271. Didn't say, has no authority, none to say you can't make me

  272. Hallelujah, Ecclesiastes, this sets you free.

  273. I mean, at the end of the day, the majority of the struggles in

  274. the world today is a submission issue.

  275. Husbands have a hard time submitting to the Lord and

  276. walking in the right relationship with their spouse.

  277. Wives having a hard time submitting to in the marriage

  278. relationship. Employees to employers

  279. submission issues. Children to their parents

  280. submission issues, government submission issues.

  281. Right, All these issues, but the biggest one is submitting to the

  282. Lord, yet it is the one that brings life.

  283. Because He is life, all right. So again, Jesus is not asking

  284. you to be born of Him without submission.

  285. In fact, salvation alone is literally addressing submission.

  286. You have to acknowledge your choices and what you thought was

  287. right must bow to God's way. You have to admit you were off.

  288. Then in order to be saved, you must call on the name of the

  289. Lord, supreme authority or the power of the government that

  290. communicates His will that he expects.

  291. Or he says you must submit and obey you.

  292. Now that is, and it's happening now in our society.

  293. People are saying Jesus is a narcissist.

  294. Jesus is love, but Jesus is the ruler.

  295. Hallelujah. And you know what?

  296. He's not making you at all, but he is offering.

  297. I said he is offering because again, it's our rebellion that

  298. says I'm going to do it my way, but it's God's way that is life.

  299. Are you hearing me now? These statements that I'm making

  300. are pretty emphatic right, because there's nowhere with the

  301. Lord saying, well, maybe you're right.

  302. What do you, what do you think? I mean, I've heard minister say,

  303. well, if I was at the beginning, maybe I ought to talk to the

  304. Lord and said, you know, maybe certain sexual orientations

  305. would have been a big deal. Well, you can say what you want,

  306. but he's Lord and he's life. And really who do you think you

  307. are to question now why do I say that?

  308. Look at Ecclesiastes 8 and verse 4.

  309. It says this for the word of a king is authority and power.

  310. And who can say to him, what are you doing?

  311. I mean, did the demon say, what are you doing?

  312. You know how many times I've been in this synagogue with all

  313. these other scribes teaching the same passage as you've been

  314. doing? Don't be bothering me.

  315. I have found a house and I'm comfortable here, and I've got

  316. this human to submit to me. And he does what I want and I

  317. don't want to leave. So you just go ahead and roll up

  318. your scroll and head on out the door.

  319. Pretty good teaching you had today.

  320. No, that's not what it sounded like, did it?

  321. No, he started to teach. And whatever he was teaching

  322. that day, it caused the spirit, that unclean spirit to squirm.

  323. And he was like, this is it, this is the guy.

  324. This is the guy, this is the one that the devil's been talking

  325. about, that anointed cherub that fell.

  326. He said that a cease coming through a woman.

  327. We have been killing kids for generation.

  328. This is the guy. I'm telling you, this is the

  329. guy. This is the guy.

  330. You hear how we go? That's the guy right there.

  331. He's it. That's the one.

  332. I know who you are, the holy one of God.

  333. That's the one he says shut up and come out and the vocal cords

  334. of the human stop and the unclean spirit as he went

  335. through the guy down he went into like epilepsy episode and

  336. then boom, gone Hallelujah and everyone, which I love, at least

  337. in the synagogue, they didn't run away like that would

  338. probably happen in most American churches today.

  339. Somebody started you'd be like get your kids, you got to get

  340. your kids. I I don't know what's going on

  341. at that church right there. I don't know what's going on,

  342. but I am out of here. We are out of here.

  343. No, that church just took authority over an unclean spirit

  344. and freed somebody. But you're so ignorant in the

  345. word you don't know what's going on.

  346. What you should do is bring all your other devil with possessed

  347. friends and say we going to church, we have found a place

  348. that you cannot be comfortable there.

  349. That thing that has got you in bond is going to have a hard

  350. time sitting in that service. Right?

  351. Say Hallelujah. I mean, when the authority of

  352. the King manifests, everything stops.

  353. Say Amen. Look at Matthew chapter 8, verse

    Matthew 8 chapter mention

  354. five through 10. Then we'll jump down to 13.

  355. It says this. And when Jesus entered

  356. Capernaum, a centurion came to him.

  357. Implore him, saying, Lord, what do you say?

  358. What do you say? What do you say, Lord?

  359. Let me say it in the definition. Supreme authority, whose

  360. government is above all, and your will must be obeyed.

  361. My servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.

  362. Jesus said to him, I will come and heal him.

  363. But the centurion said, what? What he calling?

  364. Come on, what he calling not savior, not buddy, not homeboy

  365. Jesus. There was honor definitely with

  366. the centurion. I mean some of the greatest

  367. displays I've ever seen are military exercises because

  368. there's a level of honor there, yet the civilian be like big

  369. deal because you don't understand honor.

  370. This is deeper then just you thinking you walk in and do what

  371. you want to do. There's a respect and honor and

  372. atmosphere that is larger than you.

  373. You're not the center of attention, right?

  374. He said. Lord, I'm not worthy for you to

  375. come under my roof, but say the word and my servant will be

  376. healed. For I also am a man under

  377. authority, right? With soldiers under me.

  378. One translation, I'm a man under authority and in authority.

  379. The first thing you recognize, Jesus was not his seat of

  380. authority, but the seat he was under, because Jesus has always

  381. been under authority and will always be under authority.

  382. He said I, I do nothing on my own initiative.

  383. Why do we struggle with being under?

  384. Because Jesus doesn't struggle with being under.

  385. Why do we struggle with being under?

  386. It's your old man, It's your old nature.

  387. It's your dead man. The minute you struggle, well, I

  388. just don't want to do it. That's your old man talk.

  389. Because Jesus is not struggling with being under authority at

  390. all. So he recognized, he says,

  391. listen, I am a man also under authority with soldiers under

  392. me. And I say to this one, go and he

  393. talks back to me. And then we have to debate.

  394. It's an argument. And eventually, because I'm a

  395. centurion, I've been in many wars and I've killed many men, I

  396. take them down and I let them know I'm the man.

  397. And then they finally do it. That's not what happens, does

  398. it? No, I say come and he said I'll

  399. be there in 5 minutes and he comes to my slave do this.

  400. I don't feel like it. I don't want to do that All

  401. right, shout Amen. Now, when Jesus heard this, he,

  402. you know why Jesus is not marveling over many believers is

  403. because most believers want Jesus to be a genie.

  404. Lord, I wish you would do this for me.

  405. I don't know if you will, but I want you to do it.

  406. Really, I want you to do it. And I'll say, if you don't do

  407. it, I'm probably going to be upset because I know you can,

  408. because you can do anything, because I know the scripture, it

  409. says all things are possible with you.

  410. So this is how I want this to be resolved.

  411. So I'm praying and I'm going to have what I say.

  412. See, that's not submission. That is telling God your wish

  413. list. He says.

  414. And the centurion is not even coming for his own interest.

  415. He's thinking about somebody else.

  416. He's like, Lord, I have a servant.

  417. Like, what do you even care about the servant?

  418. And he's a gentile, he's a Roman soldier.

  419. He's not even in. He is the occupying government.

  420. Wow this is so awesome. When Jesus heard this he

  421. marvelled and said to those who are following, look what he

  422. said. He said truly I say to you, I

  423. have not found such great. Which tells me great faith is

  424. directly connected to understanding, submission and

  425. authority. You will not function in great

  426. faith if you fail to have revelation of submission to

  427. authority. And the authority, you have to

  428. understand, will do exactly what it says.

  429. We are so conditioned in our world where people who have had

  430. authority failed to do what they said.

  431. Man, we're humans and unfortunately that happens.

  432. It does happen sometimes. It happens not because you want

  433. to. Sometimes it happens because you

  434. forget, but somebody remembers and doesn't remind you of what

  435. you said you would do and you sure would have done it.

  436. They remind you because you didn't really not want to do it,

  437. you just forgot, got busy or something.

  438. But then they get offended and now we have a problem submitting

  439. to authority because the authority said they were going

  440. to do this and they didn't do it.

  441. But see, God says this put me in remembrance of my word.

  442. Now that's not because God's a forgetter, it's because God

  443. wants you well versed in understanding His Word and

  444. knowing His Word and you keeping His Word in front of you.

  445. Because time will sometimes rob you of what God is moving

  446. towards you. Time will open up the door for

  447. doubt and you'll begin to question the authority.

  448. See, when you have a lack of faith, what you're really doing

  449. is you're questioning the authority of God.

  450. You're saying God won't do what he says.

  451. No, God will do what he says every time without fail, say

  452. Amen, Amen, Hallelujah. So Jesus marvelled.

  453. He marvelled and he says I have not found such great faith with

  454. anyone. And he's saying among those that

  455. are I am in covenant with, it is my covenant nation I cannot

  456. find. I mean, they have a history of

  457. me conquering, delivering, healing, providing, overcoming

  458. realms of darkness. I mean, they've seen the gamut.

  459. And then this guy that's a Gentile in an occupying

  460. government that is inferior to my nation, if they would only

  461. obey, they never would have been at a conquer has more

  462. understanding of the authority I possess than my whole nation.

  463. So experience with God will not keep you staying with the

  464. authority of God. Just because some God has done

  465. something in your life doesn't mean the next time you will

  466. maintain he functions with authority.

  467. He will always do what he says. You have to keep that in your

  468. own mind. That's right.

  469. All right, y'all doing all right.

  470. OK then you go to verse 13. Jesus said to the centurion, go,

  471. it shall be done for you as you have.

  472. And what was his faith in the authority of Jesus word?

  473. That's what his faith was in. His faith was not in He's God.

  474. His faith was not in, you know you could take me to heaven when

  475. you die. His faith was in you have

  476. authority. Speak the word, it will happen,

  477. period. And I understand taking orders.

  478. Now here's the crazy thing, He's wanting Jesus to speak to

  479. symptoms. This guy has enough revelation

  480. of understanding God that he's like I'm not asking you to talk

  481. to my servant. I'm asking you to speak to the

  482. symptoms that are tormenting my serve and they will leave his

  483. body and you do not even have to be present for that to occur.

  484. Just make the command because those symptoms will hear your

  485. words and will release itself from the from the cells on a

  486. Monette molecular level of his body and leave it and look what

  487. it says the servant was healed that very by the time he got

  488. back, he's completely healed and he says, how long you been like

  489. this? And he said, well, actually,

  490. I've been like this for about whatever that time was and that

  491. time the centurion says that's exactly when Jesus said go come

  492. on, say Hallelujah, Amen. Say you want to shout about

  493. these things. You want to have an

  494. acknowledgement of Amen, or so be it.

  495. Because again, you know, you go through season and season and

  496. season and season of certain things that you'll get dull and

  497. all of a sudden medical science and all this stuff and you will

  498. fail to remember that he's the healer, the Lord that healeth

  499. thee, and that he actually has the final say about everything.

  500. And he shouldn't be the last say.

  501. He should be the first say in the process of anything being

  502. said because I'm not against you doing things.

  503. Sometimes the Lord will say, go tell them to cut that out.

  504. Go and find out what it is so that you can speak to it.

  505. Because God's already healed everything, but He needs your

  506. mouth submitted to His authority, believing like the

  507. centurion and say it is this way.

  508. Now you understand for the servant, he can stand in the

  509. gap. As you grow in faith, you're

  510. going to have to stand in your own gap.

  511. God will allow people to function in faith for season for

  512. you, but you can't maintain ignorance and expect someone

  513. else to believe for you. You need to understand His

  514. authority yourself. Is he still the healer?

  515. Come on, I said, is he still the healer?

  516. Is he healing still today? Amen.

  517. And again, faith comes by hearing.

  518. So again, if you are not the authority of his word is that

  519. way, then guess what, keep hearing because of all the other

  520. noise is talking and it's not just healing.

  521. Could be provision, could be a plethora of things, right?

  522. Because God's authorities over everything.

  523. There's no situation. His name's not above.

  524. There is no name higher than his name.

  525. Glory to God I said glory to God and he's the Redeemer.

  526. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah, Amen.

  527. Whoo again, you can get around people that do not believe and

  528. can be like, you know, the 10 lepers and the one guy like Lord

  529. or the one leper, you know, Lord, if you're willing, you can

  530. heal me. And the Lord says I am.

  531. So again, you get around and say, well, you know, I know the

  532. Lord can he will you got to keep but he will.

  533. But he will because he has. So it's not that he can, he

  534. will. And what is your assignment to

  535. help them or at least be honest and say listen, if why are you

  536. not wanting? Because again, most people,

  537. guys, our whole society, we'll go to a doctor, a dentist or a

  538. real estate, all these transactions and we'll believe

  539. the person across the table at their word.

  540. Seriously, show of hands right now for all of you who own a

  541. home and have a mortgage. When you went on the day of

  542. closing and the document showed up, you read every word

  543. yourself. Anyone.

  544. No, I did not do this. What did you do?

  545. Sign here now. This form is about next form.

  546. When I went in the army, this form is, I mean, I could have

  547. gave my kidneys away, my liver, my eyeballs.

  548. If you get shot in the shoulder, we will kill you and harvest all

  549. of your organs. I mean, I didn't read it.

  550. It could have said that. I mean, it's stacks of paper

  551. people. This one's, you know, your

  552. credit. This one's means that if there's

  553. anything that we didn't do, you give us power of attorney.

  554. Let me read that one. But you don't read it, Doctor.

  555. Say, you know what? I think it's this.

  556. We're going to give you this. What's wrong?

  557. I need. Can you get my prescription?

  558. I mean, we. You didn't go to the lab.

  559. You didn't want. You don't understand the

  560. chemicals. You sure aren't reading the side

  561. effects unless they show up. Come on.

  562. I mean, you see all the plethora because if you watch any Fox

  563. Nation, any Fox Show, there are so many prescription being

  564. advertised on a Fox channel and everybody's smiling while

  565. they're giving you the long list, which is more than half of

  566. the commercial of the side effects thoughts of suicide.

  567. There have been serious case where people have actually died.

  568. But maybe it's right for you. And everybody's fine the whole

  569. time. I'm free.

  570. Yeah. We just heard a whole bunch of

  571. people that got cancer. They had heart issues, livers,

  572. you know, the eyeballs fell out, Their tongue fell out.

  573. They lost all their teeth, right.

  574. Their stool looked like coffee grounds.

  575. Why you look at me like at Arnell Arnell's like, I know

  576. coffee grounds, right? I mean, we just, and we're like,

  577. I mean, there are people who will go, you know, I saw a

  578. commercial and yet Jesus says, why do we only believe him at

  579. this word? I came through a virgin and I

  580. died on a cross and I shed my blood for the forgiveness of

  581. your sins. That if you accept me as your

  582. savior, you'll be saved. Why do we believe that alone?

  583. Why is that the one that if I, I mean, I could walk around, say,

  584. Gil, you born again. Do you know?

  585. Gee, how do you know? Maybe you don't.

  586. What? How do we know we really came,

  587. bro? I mean, you would argue red in

  588. the face, even get mad at me. I don't even think you're safe,

  589. bro. I mean, you would get upset

  590. because that's how firmly persuaded you are that you're

  591. saved. Why are we not that way?

  592. With healing or a sound mind or a plethora of everything else?

  593. I'll take that wave. Yeah, right.

  594. Why not? Because when you know, he

  595. doesn't just have authority over the grave, He has authority over

  596. every device of the devil. Hallelujah.

  597. Come on, shout Amen. All right, can y'all handle one

  598. more? Matthew Chapter 9 verses one

    Matthew 9 chapter mention

  599. through 8. Getting in a boat.

  600. Jesus crossed over the sea and came to his own city and they

  601. brought him a paralytic lying on a bed, seeing their faith, Jesus

  602. said to the paralytic, take courage son, your sins are

  603. forgiven. And some of the scribes said to

  604. themselves, This fellow blasphemes Jesus, knowing their

  605. thoughts said, why are you thinking evil in your hearts?

  606. Which is easier to say your sins are forgiven or to say get up

  607. and walk, but so that you may know that the Son of Man has has

  608. what not faith authority on earth to forgive sins.

  609. Then he said to the paralytic, get up, pick up your bed and go

  610. home. And he got up and went home.

  611. And when the crowd saw this, they were awestruck.

  612. Glorified God who had given such authority to men.

  613. Come on, are you hearing what I'm saying?

  614. I just used the Scripture that in Jesus's time is the reverse

  615. of what's happening today. In Jesus time everybody had seen

  616. him healed so they believed he would heal and they were not

  617. surprised at him healing. So no one in the crowd would

  618. have been surprised for the paralyzed guy to get up and walk

  619. because Jesus is healing all who are Press of the devil.

  620. But Jesus steps over into a whole nother realm of authority

  621. and says you sins are forgiven. And then he gives it this, which

  622. is say the word, which is which is how hard was it to get you

  623. saved, Gil? Did we have to pull you down and

  624. wrestle with the Lord? Come on, Lord, get inside him.

  625. Lord God, please save this guy. Help this man be born again.

  626. He's calling on you. He's saying you're.

  627. Oh, please, would you do it? God, please.

  628. I don't know if you are. Come back tomorrow.

  629. No, we hear him say. And we lead them.

  630. Just repeat after me, say I believe, I believe.

  631. And we go through the whole sinner's prayer and they say in

  632. the name of Jesus, and then what do we do?

  633. Whoa, you're saved. That's the easiest thing ever.

  634. We will tell them you don't know what I've done, don't matter

  635. what you've done. Don't matter what you've done.

  636. You don't know how many bath, doesn't matter.

  637. He's paid the price, man. All you have to do is believe.

  638. And we're like, see how easy that was then?

  639. Why now? My life's so changed.

  640. How many you got born again? And you're like, man, my life is

  641. different. Was that hard?

  642. I mean, did you have like, was your old man going?

  643. Who's this new creature coming into this house?

  644. No, you're not. No, you're not.

  645. You get out. I have been in here all these

  646. years and you think you're going to come?

  647. And he fixed me, right? Didn't look like I did it.

  648. It was like poof, gone. I mean, you went down, you came

  649. up. You're like man light.

  650. You felt like a whole way to guilt condemnation.

  651. You fell off your shoulder and you can't explain it, but you

  652. were different. You are seeing new colors.

  653. I mean it was like wow, a freedom.

  654. You've like what is going on and Jesus says which is which is

  655. easier because his word is authority on all subject matter.

  656. Last verse Matthew 2818 woo and Jesus came up and spoke to them

  657. saying how much come on how much, how much, how much, how

  658. much all. Now This is why places that

  659. preach precepts of men. This is a hard sell.

  660. Now you can say it, but you always give excuses why it may

  661. not happen. Like sickness can tell Jesus no

  662. depression. In fact, we, because his

  663. authority is obscure in our mind, we know he's supposed to

  664. be final, but we've concluded because we don't actually

  665. believe that, that he's using those things to teach us

  666. something. So we turn it all around.

  667. And that way when a person has a problem, they're like, well, I

  668. don't know, I really hope God does something, but if he

  669. doesn't, I'm going to love him anyway.

  670. And yet the king saying, what do you mean?

  671. But do you understand this was a rebuke Jesus gave to one person.

  672. He said, Lord, my son, I took him to your disciples, couldn't

  673. do nothing. You know, he's possessed and his

  674. demon throws him in the fire, you know, thrashes around if you

  675. can do anything. And what did Jesus say?

  676. If I can, If I can, wow. You don't know my authority.

  677. And Jesus did something with his authority, not because he had to

  678. prove, but he's trying to continue to teach his disciples

  679. some things. Because when I get translated

  680. and go up to heaven, I need you to know that all authority has

  681. been given to me. Most of churches are preaching

  682. the authority he possesses in heaven.

  683. No one's going to argue that he has all authority in heaven, but

  684. on earth there's the debate. And that's the difference

  685. between preaching with authority or the precepts of men.

  686. Because when we know he's going to reign there and reigns there

  687. but not here, you know, there's, you know, it's like a yin and

  688. Yang effect instead of all I need to know is a word from my

  689. king on the situation I'm going through.

  690. Because I'm telling you right now, it will be as he said.

  691. And the minute I hear that, no one's going to talk me out of it

  692. because he'll do exactly what he said he'd do, period.

  693. And I'm not asking you to believe because I don't need

  694. your belief. I just need the word myself.

  695. Now, I would love for you to touch and agree with me.

  696. Be awesome, it'd be great, but if you choose and you think that

  697. his authority does not extend here, then let's don't have a

  698. conversation because I know it extends here and I can have his

  699. will on earth as it is in heaven.

  700. Cause all authority. All authority over sickness,

  701. disease, all authority over poverty and lack, all authority

  702. over your mind, all authority over any circumstance, situation

  703. you're going on, every relationship He has, all

  704. authority. If you just go to Him as the

  705. centurion did, a man out of covenant.

  706. How much more us as believers, Lord?

  707. Lord, that's what I'm going through.

  708. What's your word on it? Because you have the authority.

  709. Just speak the word only and I will believe it.

  710. Period, He said. Well, I haven't heard.

  711. Well, there's an answer for that.

  712. Keep seeking. Why did you get up?

  713. Why are you watching TV? Why are you going on vacation?

  714. Why are you going through the routines of life if it's that

  715. bad? Why?

  716. Well, God can do whatever He wants to do in heaven.

  717. He's got all thrown. If He wants to do it, He'll do

  718. it. If you don't, I'm going to love

  719. him anyway. And the Lord's like, wow, I do

  720. want to do it. I just want you to ask because I

  721. know what you need before you even ask.

  722. But I need you to ask so I can tell you, so that you can

  723. declare. And I will work with you to

  724. accomplish My word, because my word will not return unto me,

  725. Boyd, but it shall accomplish what that which it was sent to

  726. do. Amen.
