  1. All right, so this morning. The Lord put it on our hearts to

  2. talk about abiding, you know, with all the responsibilities

  3. that a mother carries, you know, and we, I could make a list and

  4. I did make a list. A mother is a nurse a mother.

  5. Is a teacher. A mother is a chef.

  6. Whether you think you're good at it or not.

  7. The kids have to eat. A mother's a guidance counselor.

  8. A mother is a judge. A mother is a cheerleader.

  9. A mother is a housekeeper. A.

  10. Mother is a chauffeur. A.

  11. Mother is a negotiator. A mother is a peacemaker.

  12. A mother is a seamstress. Yes, we all learned how to put

  13. on a button. OK.

  14. An event. Coordinator Oh man A.

  15. Hostess with the mostess. A.

  16. Stylist. A personal assistant.

  17. A referee. And an investigator.

  18. I was good at. That.

  19. A security. Officer, come on.

  20. A translator, A photographer, A. Financial Planner.

  21. A life coach and an entertainer. Come on, there's so many more.

  22. I could go on with the. List and all of you women say.

  23. But you know one thing that I. Learned in my.

  24. Walk with the Lord. And serving the Lord.

  25. Is that and all the? Responsibilities that a mother

  26. carried and all the things, all the things we have to do

  27. throughout the day, you know, and that's not even the whole

  28. list because if you're married, then you put wife on top of that

  29. and all the list of the wife. So again, there's so many things

  30. that can consume us if we allow it.

  31. But the one thing that I have. Learned that is a must.

  32. In being able to navigate life and that is.

  33. To. Realize that we must.

  34. Be. Women and men that abide in the

  35. vine abide in the vine. So I want to talk this morning.

  36. About abiding and go. In a little direction, because

  37. in today's society. Like I was saying.

  38. Earlier that that we're. In a whole generation that is

  39. trying to convince. Mothers not to have children, to

  40. abort them, just to not get pregnant, to live their own

  41. life, because having children are they're.

  42. Inconvenient. It's too much.

  43. Work. Again feeding.

  44. It's all about. You that self centeredness that

  45. the. Generation is trying to push and

  46. so you know it's and it's all because being a parent is work.

  47. It's work. It is hard in the natural, but

  48. that's why God gave us His Holy Spirit, because He did not want

  49. to just save us so that one day when we die we go to heaven.

  50. He saved us to put His Spirit within us, to give us life so

  51. that we can live through this life with His help.

  52. As the. Helper on the inside.

  53. Of us. To help us navigate being

  54. whatever it is that we are in the earth.

  55. Amen. And the one.

  56. Thing that I've learned is that if we do not abide in him.

  57. Then we will burnout. OK if we do not abide.

  58. In him this has. To be a must.

  59. So let's read our first scripture.

  60. John 15. Four and five, it says.

  61. Very nice. Abide in me and I in you.

  62. As the branch cannot. Bear fruit of itself unless it

  63. abides in the vine. So neither can you unless you

  64. abide in me. I am the vine, you are the

  65. branches, and he who abides in me and I in him bears much

  66. fruit. Here's the key.

  67. Apart from me you can do. Nothing.

  68. Amen. You can be seated apart from me.

  69. You can do nothing. So he gives you a clue here.

  70. It's not that you can do. Nothing.

  71. It's not that you can do, He's not saying.

  72. You can't do anything. Plenty of people do many things.

  73. But not in him. They do many things but not in

  74. him or what we would like to say as an in Christ reality in

  75. Christ. They don't do it in Christ.

  76. And the thing about it is, is that anything you do that's not

  77. in Christ is useless, is useless, and it's going to.

  78. End up leading to. What death and destruction?

  79. So the goal is as a believer, he's reminding us that we must

  80. abide in him in. Him in the vine.

  81. Who is the Vine? Jesus is the vine.

  82. We are the branches. But look what this word means.

  83. Abide this word. Abide.

  84. Means this. To stay in.

  85. Your given place wow to. Stay in your given place.

  86. Isn't this something that reminds us of Genesis?

  87. Chapter 1. When Adam chose to disobey God

  88. and he came down in the cool of the day, he said, Adam, where

  89. are you? What did he say?

  90. What position are you in now? What have what?

  91. How did you get up off your seat?

  92. So abide means to stay in a given place, a state relation.

  93. Abide. It means to continue, to dwell,

  94. to endure, to be present. Listen to that, to be present.

  95. It not a lot of what we're hearing about parents today,

  96. they're not present for their children.

  97. And he's saying the and you know why?

  98. Because the only way you're going to be present for your

  99. children is if you're actually present.

  100. And for him and abiding in him. So it means to remain or to

  101. tarry for and. To stand.

  102. So when we say abide in the vine, he's telling us that we

  103. must stay in our God-given place or our seat of authority.

  104. We could also stay, say we must to continue to stay in that

  105. seat. We must dwell in that seat.

  106. We must endure in that position or that seat.

  107. Come on, we must be present. We cannot be having God on the

  108. inside of A and disconnected to him, but yet you can.

  109. You can be a walking mummy as a born again believer if you are

  110. not acknowledging the Holy Spirit on the inside of you and

  111. His work that He wants to do in and through your everyday life.

  112. Because remember, we're to walk by the Spirit.

  113. We're to walk by the Spirit. That means every day, habitually

  114. when you look it up, walking by the Spirit every day.

  115. My life is to be guided by the Spirit.

  116. And the way that I'm going to continue to be guided by the

  117. Spirit is that I must acknowledge the Spirit.

  118. I must recognize and be present and abiding with Him every day.

  119. Right. We're going to see a couple of

  120. other. Things in a minute.

  121. So we must recognize that he's saying that we must stay in

  122. connection. With Jesus and that.

  123. It is a life giving vital union being attached to the vine.

  124. We are the. Branch and we are.

  125. Attached to the vine and it is our life giving vital union or

  126. connection or also it means a continual dependence upon.

  127. Are you acknowledging the Spirit of God everyday living on the

  128. inside of you and realizing that you are in continual dependence

  129. upon his leading those who are the children of God are to be

  130. led by the Spirit of God. Romans, right 8.

  131. Wasn't in my notes, but it's in me.

  132. Those who are children of God are to be led by the Spirit of

  133. God. And this is not just in

  134. religious or spiritual things. This is in every day.

  135. We are to walk by the Spirit, and we're not going to do it if

  136. we're not abiding and staying in our place in that continual

  137. connection and vital union and dependence upon Him as our

  138. source. You know the vine is the very

  139. thing. Jesus, he says he.

  140. Is the vine and the vine in the natural when you?

  141. Look it up scientifically. When you.

  142. Look up the plant. System or whatever trees.

  143. And all these things. The vine or is where all the

  144. actual nutrients is running through.

  145. Just like you know, our blood is our life source in our body and

  146. it's the same thing in the natural with a living plant,

  147. tree, flower, whatever. It may be right.

  148. There is a vital nourishment that is there running from the

  149. actual vine. To the branch.

  150. And the and through that whole. Process scientifically right and

  151. so we have to recognize that he's letting us know that that

  152. is the same type of. Dependency that we need because

  153. you can go on and read John chapter. 15 and verse 5.

  154. Or. All the way through.

  155. One through whatever it is where.

  156. He talks about the vine and the branches and remaining in him

  157. and his. Word if his word.

  158. Remains in you. Right, all the things you can

  159. read that whole thing and realize what he's trying to let

  160. us know is, is that. Our life and.

  161. Source. Our life source Say Jesus is my

  162. life source. It's the very nutrients that you

  163. need every single day to be able to walk this Christian walk.

  164. Out. OK, and do.

  165. It effectively, right, Do it effectively and that's the key

  166. so. We have to recognize.

  167. Our spiritual dependency upon that because he also goes on and

  168. says, what if a branch is cut off?

  169. What happens when the branch gets cut off?

  170. It dries up. Well, you know, you can have the

  171. life of God on the inside of you but choose to disconnect

  172. yourself or what some we could also say break fellowship and

  173. over a period of time like I'm going.

  174. To talk about this in a second. Over a period of time, you're

  175. going to get dry, brittle and breakable.

  176. I had two trees. I don't know if I already shared

  177. this and some other sermon I think.

  178. Maybe we had two. Trees, oleander trees that we

  179. transplanted in March. We moved, he moved, dug them up

  180. and moved them for me. I just showed him what the spot

  181. to put it. But I go out everyday, you know,

  182. I've been. Watering, making sure I'm

  183. watering because we're in a drought and.

  184. Doing all the things but the See, I don't let the.

  185. Leaves freak me out. Because they're all turning

  186. brown and they're all falling off because they were starting

  187. to bloom. Because it was early spring,

  188. but. Everyday I go out.

  189. And I check the limbs to make. Sure, they're still flexible.

  190. Green. The limbs are still green,

  191. they're still flexible, they're still bending that.

  192. What is that? Let me know.

  193. They're still getting nourishment.

  194. They're still getting all the things they need to be able to

  195. come back into bloom at some season, right or the next season

  196. because it's not going to die. Because I'm doing all the

  197. necessary things right to keep it watered to keep.

  198. And I'm speaking life over them, you know, see, that's a bonus

  199. bonus that we. Get because we get what we say,

  200. right? But anyway, so I go out to check

  201. the limbs, the branches, to see if they're brittle.

  202. Or not. Because then I would know

  203. they're. Dying on the vine.

  204. They're dying on the vine. So all the nourishment and

  205. dependency is going to have to come from us recognizing that we

  206. must. Be.

  207. Dependent and abiding within. Him Amen everyday and it's the

  208. holy. Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the

  209. one that's bringing the life, bringing the refreshment,

  210. because the Holy Spirit, even in the Old Covenant and the New

  211. Testament represents water, represents life, represents

  212. refreshing. Anytime you see that's the life

  213. giving flow of the Spirit of God.

  214. That the Spirit brings. OK, refreshing brings water.

  215. Now it can bring fire to burn up some things too.

  216. But I'm not talking. About that today because.

  217. It's Mother's Day. But the Holy Spirit, that's his

  218. role is to bring that nourishment or that life giving

  219. flow to us that we need and we have to engage and participate

  220. and yield to the Spirit of God. And when we begin to abide in

  221. Him everyday, knowing that this is a vital union that I have and

  222. I must have this nourishment every day in my walk, realizing

  223. it. Is necessary necessary to.

  224. Give me what I need first, John 413.

  225. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because he

  226. has given us of His spirit. Hallelujah.

  227. And this is how. We know we abide in Him because

  228. He's given us the Spirit and the Spirit of God on the inside of

  229. us is always there to bring the supply or the nourishment,

  230. whatever it is that we need in our life for that day to

  231. navigate us in the situations and circumstances.

  232. Of life. It's not just about knowing

  233. where I'm going when I die, it is about a life lived out for

  234. him every day. A life lived out for him every

  235. day. Look at John. 1417 this.

  236. Is the spirit of truth whom the world cannot.

  237. Receive. And This is why we ought to be

  238. standing out in the world again. We're going to see the contrast

  239. in a minute. The spirit of truth whom the

  240. world cannot receive because it does not see him or know him.

  241. But our eyes has seen what? We've seen the King, we know

  242. him. Come on.

  243. Our eyes have been open to him. We've seen him, we know him.

  244. Come on. But you know him because why?

  245. He abides with you and will be in you.

  246. So he's abiding within us to give us every necessary thing

  247. that we need every day in our walk as a believer, as a mother,

  248. as a father, whatever it is, He's there to help give us what

  249. we need. Psalms 9212 through 14.

  250. This is a good one because it that just.

  251. Continues to solidify John 15 it.

  252. Says the righteous man will flourish like the palm tree.

  253. Come on, are you flourishing? The righteous man shall flourish

  254. like the palm tree. He will grow like the cedar of

  255. Lebanon planted. There's another key, but I'm not

  256. focusing on that one. But we sure could.

  257. Planted in the House of the Lord, they will flourish in the

  258. courts of God. And they will still yield fruit

  259. in old age. They shall be full of SAP and

  260. very green. They'll be full of SAP and very

  261. green SAP. Is that very thing that we've?

  262. Been talking. About SAP is the thing that's

  263. bringing the nourishment that we need everyday.

  264. Now. The key is we've got to abide in

  265. Him. And another key is we need to be

  266. planted in the House of the Lord.

  267. Come on, not hopping around and skipping and jumping and going

  268. wherever we please, but planted. That means nothing's going to

  269. uproot me from the House of the Lord, where He has come on,

  270. planted me and put me in good soil to help me grow.

  271. Come on. So that when I get old, I'm

  272. still full of SAP, I'm still full and overflowing of the

  273. Spirit of God and the life of God and the nourishment of God.

  274. It's still giving life. So why is this important?

  275. So you don't dry up and become brittle.

  276. And broken. Or even lopped off.

  277. Come on. So that SAP is the thing that.

  278. We're talking about. That is the necessary key that

  279. we're going to be able to receive by abiding and dwelling.

  280. In him. Now when you look up that word

  281. also. And talking about abiding and

  282. dwelling, it also has the context.

  283. Of fellowship, right? So when we talk about abide

  284. well, how do I abide? Well, you abide in the word 1

  285. you read the word. Right.

  286. Two, we pray we spend time abiding or one, when you look it

  287. up in the Greek says in fellowship or.

  288. Communion with the Lord. So when you're reading the word,

  289. you're. Communing with him when?

  290. You're at times of meditating on the word you're.

  291. Communing with him you're. Fellowshipping with him, you're

  292. conversing with him. You're talking to him about

  293. things going on in your everyday life.

  294. Maybe you're having to deal with a teenager, maybe you're having

  295. to deal with a you know, some other type of situation.

  296. You're talking and communing with him about the situation you

  297. are in so that you can get the nourishment or the word or

  298. whatever it is that you need to help navigate you in that.

  299. Situation and it means. Also the context of.

  300. Intimacy. Intimacy when we're.

  301. Abiding and dwelling and communing with Him every day we

  302. are. Being intimate with him.

  303. There's an intimate part of you loving God.

  304. It's just like when people can't say sing that song, my beloved,

  305. like you have a hard time singing my beloved.

  306. You know, women shouldn't just it shouldn't just be easy for.

  307. Women to sing that. Because in the body of Christ,

  308. he said, he's coming back for the bride.

  309. And actually right now, you're the bride.

  310. You men are the bride. Just to let you know, we're the.

  311. Bride of Christ. Come on.

  312. So there's an intimacy there that he still.

  313. Wants for you. Even as men like you know, you

  314. telling him you love him, That's all that means, my beloved, you

  315. know I love. You.

  316. Lord, you're my Lord, I love you.

  317. Come on, man. So it's intimacy, it's

  318. participation with him every day.

  319. And another word that uses intercourse.

  320. You are having intercourse with the Lord every day.

  321. That intimacy that means you're abiding in him, you're dwelling

  322. in him, you are spending time with him, making sure you're

  323. present and you're connected to. Him.

  324. Every day, Every day OK in your relationship.

  325. With him, Second Corinthians 1314.

  326. This is the scripture actually, that is talking about that

  327. fellowship with the Holy Spirit in the definitions that I just

  328. gave. You it says the grace of the

  329. Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship.

  330. Of the Holy. Spirit be with you.

  331. And that's what he's talking about there with the.

  332. Fellowship of the Holy Spirit. He's talking about intimacy,

  333. he's talking about communion. He's talking.

  334. About that intercourse. He's talking about

  335. participation, he's talking about union and communion with.

  336. Him right here in this scripture.

  337. And. This is what it means When we're

  338. abiding in Him, we are. Spending time with him, right?

  339. Communing with him and allowing him to talk and show us the

  340. things that we need to help us in our everyday rest.

  341. And the reason? Why I'm saying this?

  342. Let's. Read Psalms 91.

  343. Psalms. 91 We just have a couple more scriptures and we're almost

  344. done. Psalms 91 verse.

  345. One says he. Who dwells one translation says

  346. He who? Abides in the.

  347. Shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest say rest

  348. say it. Again, say it.

  349. One more time. This is a big word going around.

  350. Rest, rest rest rest. It's a big word.

  351. Big word going around today and he says he.

  352. Who dwells or? Abides in the shelter of the

  353. Most High Will. Remain secure, one translation

  354. says, and will rest. In the shadow of the Almighty,

  355. whose power no enemy can withstand.

  356. True rest. Is found abiding only.

  357. True. Rest is.

  358. Only found in abiding. And dwelling.

  359. And This is why mothers will get burnt out, mothers will get

  360. frustrated, mothers will feel fatigued, mothers will.

  361. You know, allow their. Feelings to take over.

  362. Come on, mothers. I'm telling you, mothers, this

  363. is the key that we must do if we're going to find true rest

  364. and not be those that will buy into the lie of you know, I'm

  365. just. Burnt out, I'm just.

  366. Stressed out. I'm just full of anxiety.

  367. I've got all these problems. I've got all these worries.

  368. I've got all this stuff I'm having to do.

  369. I'm a multitasker. I'm a blah, blah, blah, blah,

  370. blah, blah, blah. You just need to quit serving.

  371. You need to rest. Big word, big word no.

  372. What you need to do is actually abide.

  373. You need to abide. Abide in the vine, abide in the

  374. word of God, abide in communion with the Lord.

  375. Make sure that no matter what you're doing, you are abiding

  376. first and foremost. And I'm going to tell you, you

  377. may not be able to do it first thing.

  378. When I was a, you know, had all my kids at home, I would wait

  379. till they got their naps and guess what I would do?

  380. I would abide when they were nappy.

  381. There is a moment for you throughout your day to abide and

  382. if you will abide, you will rest and you don't have to pull back

  383. on doing anything as long as you're doing is that you're

  384. doing the necessary things to be responsible with what God has.

  385. Put in your hand to do now. You can be busy.

  386. Doing too many things. About just just too busy because

  387. you just doing everything because you don't.

  388. Want to you don't. Want to abide but I won't.

  389. Go there. Because he might.

  390. Actually talk to you. I've done it, been there, done

  391. that. And got the T-shirt.

  392. Stay busy, not abiding because I.

  393. Knew that if I started to abide I would start to hear some

  394. things I must have to do and adjust.

  395. So you have to ask the question. Why are you not abiding?

  396. Because true abiding will bring you true rest.

  397. You won't feel fatigued. You won't feel.

  398. Frustrated. Or you know what?

  399. You may even have these feelings, but you won't let

  400. those feelings control. Your life and dictate your

  401. responses and. Move you off of what?

  402. The word of. God says OK because feelings

  403. will come. Things will come.

  404. But we have authority. To say no, not today, Satan,

  405. Because I've been abiding, right?

  406. I've been abiding. So let's look.

  407. Here at the Situation in Luke 1038.

  408. This is a perfect. Scenario and you know.

  409. What's so awesome about God is He lets us.

  410. He let you. As mothers know, I see you

  411. because this is the thing. I just don't feel hurt or I

  412. don't feel sick. God says I see you.

  413. And I. Hear you see, everybody wants to

  414. be. Seen out here.

  415. Or heard out here? And the number.

  416. One goal for my life is I just want to know that He sees me, He

  417. hears me, and the rest come on. Because that's all that matters

  418. to me is that I am seen and heard by the King of Glory, the

  419. one who sits on the throne, Amen.

  420. And who will give me everything I need?

  421. Hallelujah. So Luke 1038 and 42.

  422. He sees you and he hears you. Mama, listen, it says.

  423. Now while they were on their way, Jesus entered the village

  424. called Bethany, and a woman named Martha welcomed him into

  425. her home, going straight to the houses.

  426. And she had her. Sister.

  427. Yeah. You know Martha and Mary

  428. sisters. Sisters who?

  429. Seated herself at the Lord's feet and was continually what,

  430. listening to his teachings, But Martha was very Here's the key,

  431. busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities.

  432. You see that? Come on.

  433. And she approached him and said, Lord, is it not of no concern to

  434. you that my sister, I mean, she's going and like.

  435. Tattling on her sister. To the Lord Jesus.

  436. You know, I just think this is so funny.

  437. I'm glad I. Didn't have a sister and and so

  438. anyway and. So here she is.

  439. Go in what? I'll get distracted with what

  440. I'm saying. So that very busy distracted all

  441. of her serving response. She approached him and said,

  442. Lord, is it not of any concern to you that my sister has left

  443. me to do all the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her

  444. part. Doesn't this sound like the

  445. judge that? We as mothers.

  446. Have to be. When I tell them to go take out

  447. the trash or do the dishes or whatever.

  448. Well, what are they going to do? All right, verse 41.

  449. But the Lord replied to her. Martha, Martha, are you worried

  450. and bothered? And anxious about so many

  451. things. You're worried you're bothered.

  452. And anxious about so many things, but do.

  453. You know what he said, but only. One thing is necessary.

  454. So all these. Mamas that get on.

  455. You know, all these posting social medias griping about

  456. their life, you know, talking about how horrible it is and how

  457. busy everything and how anxious. I mean, you name it, they say

  458. it. Here is the answer, right here,

  459. right here in the word of God, right here.

  460. He sees you and he hears you, and he gives us.

  461. The answer, he said. One thing is necessary.

  462. For Mary has chosen what the good part which will not be

  463. taken away from her. Now what you need is to abide.

  464. If you're feeling anxious, you're feeling worried, you're

  465. feeling overburdened, you're feeling all these things as a

  466. mother come on, or as an individual in Christ.

  467. You're letting all these things worry you.

  468. Are you abiding in the vine Because it's the one answer.

  469. And the one thing you need. It's all you need.

  470. It's the answer. It's the key right here.

  471. He's lets us know we must. Do the necessary thing.

  472. She sat. In her position on.

  473. Her. Her.

  474. Knees. Before the Lord, she sat.

  475. In her position, she. Stayed.

  476. In her. Seat She sat right there and

  477. what else did she do? She.

  478. Postured herself. To be intentional, we have to

  479. be. Intentional to be.

  480. Present and to be in the position to abide in Him every

  481. day. We have to be intentional and so

  482. she. Said in her seat postured

  483. herself. I like to.

  484. This is what I said, she said in her.

  485. Position and her seat. She postured herself to be

  486. nourished. With the life flowing.

  487. Words of the. Lord Jesus himself, that very

  488. moment, that SAP was flowing. The SAP.

  489. Was flowing and she postured. Herself and said, wait a minute,

  490. I must get in my seat, I must get in my.

  491. Seat so that that. Flow can start.

  492. Come on, flowing on me. Glory to God, so.

  493. It's the one thing we need, and Jesus recognized it and clearly

  494. explained it right. There in that scripture.

  495. But not. Only did he do that.

  496. He also in Matthew. 11 Matthew 11. 28 through 30 he says this.

  497. Come to me, Come to me. All who are weary.

  498. And heaven let heavy laden and I.

  499. Will give you what? Come to me, come to me.

  500. Come abide, Come dwell. Come pull up your seat.

  501. Let's commune, let's spend time together.

  502. Let's read the word. Let me give you that life

  503. flowing nourishment that you need in the very moment that

  504. you're feeling overloaded, burned out, anxious, stressed,

  505. overworked. Come on, all the things he says

  506. just. Come on to me.

  507. Come unto me, all who are weary when you look at that word,

  508. weary. It literally means those who

  509. grow weary. Who grow?

  510. Tired and exhausted with. Toil or the burdens the.

  511. Labor of weariness or effort. To toil, bodily labor, all the

  512. things that we do throughout the day as a parent, as a mother, as

  513. a father, as a leader, whatever it may be, whatever profession

  514. you may be in. He's letting us know, listen,

  515. the one thing you need so that these things don't happen, so

  516. that you don't become worrisome, though, that you don't become

  517. anxious, so that you don't become burdened down or heavy

  518. laden with the things that he knows we're going to have to

  519. walk through through in this earth every day.

  520. He says the one thing you need to do is just come to me and

  521. abide. Come to me.

  522. I'm. Ready to actually give you rest

  523. in what it is that. You are looking for.

  524. You see that I want to say this rest.

  525. Is not inactivity. But it is.

  526. Dependence upon the life of Christ.

  527. Rest is not inactivity. It is dependent upon the life of

  528. Christ, the life of Christ, the Spirit of Christ that's living

  529. and dwelling on the inside of you.

  530. That is where true REST. Will come through.

  531. To us, if we'll just. Come to him when we're in these

  532. positions. And sit at his feet.

  533. Dwell in His presence. Commune with him.

  534. Spend. Time with him, OK?

  535. Striving without abiding leads to exhaustion.

  536. Striving without abiding leads. To exhaustion, so the.

  537. Reason why you're exhausted is because you're.

  538. Not abiding and actually we could go even further.

  539. I didn't even have this in my scripture but it the Holy Ghost

  540. just brought it up about the virgins with their lamps being

  541. full. If you're burning out, it's

  542. because you're not keeping the oil flowing or the SAP going,

  543. and it's simply because we're not abiding, we're not dwelling,

  544. we're not spending time with the Lord that we need to.

  545. Do to be able. To do all the things necessary

  546. that He is asking of us to do. He anointed us.

  547. He anointed us. I have told many mothers.

  548. This in counseling meetings you are anointed.

  549. To be their mother, tap. Into the anointing, tap into the

  550. SAP. That's a good shirt.

  551. Tap into the SAP. Come on.

  552. You're anointed to be the Father.

  553. You're anointed to be whatever it is that you are doing in this

  554. very moment. Tap into the SAP and you will be

  555. able to do that if you will abide with Him and make sure

  556. that that is something that is a priority in your life so that

  557. you don't let your oil burn out or run out right.

  558. Two more scriptures and we'll close.

  559. Isaiah 4031 says. But those who what wait for the

  560. Lord will gain new strength and renew their power.

  561. They will lift up their wings and rise up close to God like

  562. eagles rising towards the. Sun This is the amplified.

  563. And they will run and not grow weary.

  564. So all you're running around, picking up from soccer, picking

  565. up this, having to help your grandmother, having to do all

  566. the things, come on, all the running.

  567. You won't grow weary. If you'll just wait, if you'll

  568. just come and dwell, if you'll just come and abide within him,

  569. you won't grow weary. He tells us that it is scripture

  570. and I will refuse to listen to the lies of this world, and I

  571. choose to listen to what the word of God says, that I am

  572. going to run and not grow weary because I am choosing to abide

  573. within His presence and to keep my oil, my SAP flowing and my

  574. oil glowing. Come on.

  575. Amen and. When we do that, we'll see.

  576. Some of these other. Things fall into.

  577. Place, Philippians 413. We know.

  578. This last scripture. Says this what?

  579. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

  580. I want to read this out of the amplified.

  581. I can do all things which he has called me to do.

  582. And has he called you to be a mother?

  583. Yes. This is not just a spiritual

  584. principle for a spiritual thing. It can be, but it's for our

  585. everyday life. I can do all things that He has

  586. called me to do through Him Who. This is the key.

  587. This is what the SAP does. This is what abiding does.

  588. This is what dwelling does through Him who strengthens and

  589. empowers me to fulfill His purpose.

  590. I am. Self-sufficient in Christ

  591. sufficiency. I am ready for anything come on

  592. and equal to anything through him.

  593. This is the key. This is what what that SAP does.

  594. This is what abiding does who infuses me with inner strength

  595. and confident peace. This is what happens when you

  596. choose to. Abide.

  597. Every single day in the vine. Amen that when we are in

  598. whatever situation we're in, come on, we can be that type of

  599. person. I'm going to run.

  600. I'm not going to grow weary. Yes, I'm.

  601. Facing this but I. Can do anything, Come on,

  602. because Christ is infusing me with the nourishment, the very

  603. things necessary, the supply of the Spirit of God that I need

  604. for this day, for this moment, for this hour, whatever it is

  605. that. God is asking.

  606. And requiring and calling each and every one of us to do Amen.

  607. Amen. So there actually is no excuses.

  608. There's no excuses to not do what it is that is put.

  609. In our hand to do. What does he put?

  610. In your hand to do well you. May be just.

  611. You know. At the moment.

  612. Being that mother, being that wife.

  613. All those things and I'm going to tell you we read the the

  614. laundry. List we didn't say, you know,

  615. laundry. Lawn.

  616. What is it? A laundry attendant, right?

  617. All the list. All the things.

  618. You know, but we. All have things.

  619. That we're responsible for every single day.

  620. Through our jobs. You know through life all the

  621. things that God. 'S.

  622. Going. To give us what?

  623. We need so that we do not burnout run dry, but we must be

  624. people that recognize abiding is necessary.

  625. It's necessary, and it's the very.

  626. Key. That's going to keep me from

  627. being in a position of feeling overwhelmed with life or anxious

  628. about life. Amen.
