We're going to be a we're going to read Acts chapter 10 verse 38
-
and it says this, it says you know of Jesus of Nazareth and
-
how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power and
-
he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed
-
by the devil for God was with him.
-
Let's pray. Father, we love you, we honor
-
you. We thank you so much for the
-
word of God. We think it's alive and active,
-
sharper than any 2 edged sword and Holy Spirit.
-
We again ask and we ask not through tradition saying this
-
often, we ask in faith because we are firmly persuaded what
-
Jesus said about you, you will do so.
-
We know tonight that you're in our room, that you're in our
-
midst, that you are within the believer that you testify with
-
it, with our spirits. We're children of God.
-
You put it come upon us with power so that we walk in the
-
power of the Kingdom. But the things that you do is
-
that you're going to cause things to come to our
-
remembrance that Jesus has said. You're going to guide us into
-
all truth. You're going to teach us all
-
things and you're going to disclose things to come.
-
So we receive your ministry to renew our minds so that we
-
release who we are in Christ and and receive all the benefits
-
that are afforded to us. Because now we are children of
-
God that are residents within your Kingdom that is alive and
-
well on the earth spiritually and one day physically in Jesus
-
name and all God's people said Amen.
-
You know, healing is a part of the Kingdom.
-
Healing is a part of the Kingdom.
-
The kingdom's not just healing, but the Kingdom has healing, all
-
right? And the king has the power to
-
heal. He has the authority, all right.
-
And we see here in Acts chapter 10, you know, obviously Luke is
Acts 10 chapter mention
-
the writer of this particular verse, but he's recounting, you
-
know, there's there's it's this recount of, you know, Peter, I
-
think this is at Cornelius's house, if I'm correct, you know,
-
having a little bit of a conversation with him.
-
And ultimately is saying, you know, how Jesus of Nazareth, how
-
God anointed him, was he anointed with the Holy Spirit
-
and power authority, right? And how he went about doing
-
good. And this doing good is where we
-
get the word philanthropy. So not only did he heal people,
-
but he also brought a provisional resource.
-
And provisional resource isn't just giving away finance, which
-
he may have done that because he definitely had money, but more
-
importantly, he brought provision.
-
We know, through the five loaves and two fish another time with
-
some additional fish. You know, he would do certain
-
things to pay taxes. He was able to pull some things
-
because that he has provision. But he all ultimately says that
-
he healed all who are oppressed of the devil.
-
Well, now this is an interesting little thought before we go on
-
healing all who are oppressed of the devil.
-
So if you're not in health, God didn't put is not is not trying
-
to put sickness on you. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
Now God can withdraw himself from protection and accelerate
-
what's happening in your body, because now that man has fallen.
-
The body is corrupt, it is mortal, and it is breaking down.
-
Now we can slow this process, meaning the anointing in our
-
lives can do some regeneration. We cannot walk in more
-
immortality. That is not possible for us.
-
That's a glorified body we will receive.
-
However, we can keep this body in great health with the
-
anointing because God has anointed us as well.
-
But if God withdrew himself in one sense because of our
-
disobedience, well, you know, your body could receive a whole
-
lot of stuff. Now the enemy's weapon is to
-
bring sickness and disease. That is His weapon to bring.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying? So when we talk about in Egypt,
-
because you're going to I have to address this, Jesus went or
-
the the Lord tells the Israelites after he removed them
-
from Israel that if they walk accord his way, he will not put
-
none of the diseases that he put on the Egyptians.
-
Now you understand the things that happened to the Egyptians
-
was the Lord gave them what they were believing their gods were
-
not allowing. Well, their gods had no power.
-
And so, you know, boils and all kinds of things that ended up
-
taking place in their lives, you know, with the different plagues
-
that came, those are some challenges.
-
Now God is authorized to eliminate someone from the
-
planet. And that's not murder.
-
That's executing judgment. OK, Murder is when you kill
-
someone who's innocent. Judgment is when you release
-
someone from their body because they've been judged rightly and
-
death is a byproduct of that judgment.
-
Do you need to understand that? Because people say, well, the
-
Lord doesn't come to kill still and destroy.
-
Well, the Lord doesn't kill in the sense of murder, but the
-
Lord can pull your spirit from your body.
-
And an ISIS of fire are new covenant people in in Acts that
-
when they lied to the Holy Ghost, they fell dead in church.
-
Are you hearing me again? There's statements we make that
-
we all the sudden then get a perception that God would never
-
require someone to leave their skin suit.
-
That can't happen. But it's never from injustice
-
ever. Do you understand the
-
difference? OK, again, because, you know, in
-
our society we believe, you know, and I don't mind if you
-
have this belief, you know, that we should never have any type of
-
corporal punishment where anyone should ever die for their
-
crimes. I don't have an issue there
-
because they're going to go before a Court One day where
-
they will die for their crimes and they'll be cast into the
-
lake of fire, which is the second death that will occur.
-
So they, if it does not happen on planet Earth, it will happen
-
in the course of heaven. So if man chooses to prolong and
-
say we are not going to address that at all, we're not going to
-
make that kind of law. Although God placed those laws
-
within the planet, even in his own nation, that if these things
-
occurred, that these were justifiable things.
-
Because ultimately it's better to eliminate wickedness than let
-
it roam. All right, that's the side
-
thought anyway. We see here that the devil,
-
though, has this tactic of putting sickness and disease
-
through oppression on people. Hallelu, y'all doing all right?
-
Don't get quiet on me because I fall asleep, OK?
-
I was up till 3:00 AM trying to take care of my family, you
-
know, didn't sleep a whole lot. So, you know, Anna gave me a
-
great strong cup of coffee and if I might walk down there and
-
take another sip before I'm over, right?
-
Because I need to preach a little bit and I'm not going to
-
get done early just because, you know, you feel like you could go
-
to bed. All right?
-
So, so again, so you have to recognize when symptoms happen
-
in your body, do not give God credit for that is what I'm
-
saying. Now, you know, there is
-
traditional thoughts that, you know, get picked up, you know,
-
religiously because again, we just took some time to talk
-
about the authority and how Jesus spoke with authority, not
-
like the scribes. And the difference between him
-
speaking and them is they had traditions where they have
-
caused the word of God to become a tradition.
-
And you can pick up traditions within churches, well meaning.
-
And you know what even sounds kind of good?
-
Because it definitely will help people cope with what's going
-
on. However, that doesn't mean it's
-
accurate. And don't ever feel condemned if
-
you get sick. We're in the earth.
-
There can be challenges that show up.
-
Symptoms can happen. You just need to know who you
-
are and what authority you have to address those.
-
I mean, again, Jesus said in this life you'll have trials and
-
tribulation. He never said you'll go through
-
life once you're born again, no problems.
-
You'll live at perfect peace. You will never have an issue
-
ever. No, he said you're going to have
-
problems, but be of good cheer. He gave his answers.
-
You see, I'm saying he's like, be of good cheer.
-
This is how you handle it. When you get into these issues,
-
look to me, I'll give you the deliverance.
-
So God is always just given the way to come out.
-
So when we enter into certain things that we realize this is
-
not the will of God, then we must at that place say, OK,
-
Lord, what does your word say so that I can get myself in victory
-
because I'm not going to stay in a place that is not ordained by
-
you, OK. So when symptoms hit your body,
-
you know, do not give God credit for those begin to say, OK Lord,
-
how do I overcome this because we will see in the next few
-
weeks on Wednesday night that healing is just a part of the
-
Kingdom and and God wants us healed.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying now?
-
Why is this important? Because listen, let's just think
-
for a moment, how many people right now that are currently
-
have left this life and gone into heaven?
-
Those that are born again, they've they've left their skin
-
suit, their spirit man has left and they are currently resigned
-
in heaven as Paul said, to be absent from the body.
-
I'll be what present with the Lord.
-
Where is the Lord presently at? He's at the right hand of the
-
Father. Where in heaven.
-
So those people who have preceded us in death, meaning
-
separating from their body, they no longer are on the planet.
-
Their spirit and soul is gone. They are in heaven because they
-
are born of God of all those that are in heaven from the one
-
that just passed away right now somewhere in the planet, they
-
just passed away because I don't know what the percentage is.
-
If there's like ever so many seconds, someone's dying in the
-
planet for that person who just left, right, just left, OK, all
-
the way to Adam and and I'm just taking to the first, you know,
-
one that was born of those who are of God and in covenant,
-
because not everybody's in heaven.
-
But the ones that are, how many of them need healing?
-
How many of them are going before the throne of God and
-
saying, you know, I woke up today with a sore throat.
-
You know, the trees up here, the pollen's horrible and my
-
allergies are crazy, Lord, you know, and I see the blood on the
-
mercy seat up here. And so I need some healing.
-
Come on, how many are walking and getting healing in heaven
-
right now? So then healing is not for
-
heaven. Healing then must be something
-
that is designed for the earth. So what that should do to our
-
our mindset is that if I get sick, heaven is not the release
-
of that. God doesn't want me to get into
-
heaven to be healthy. That's it.
-
Now you got to think different because again, traditionally
-
it's like, well, it's just what I've had.
-
And so I'm just dealing with it, but one day I won't.
-
And if the enemy can convince you never to try to apply any
-
authority or seek God for something to be healed.
-
And again, I'm not talking about things that are natural.
-
Meaning, you know, your ligaments can naturally.
-
I mean, my ligaments are not what they were when I was 20,
-
but I can still squat down, OK? I can still go all the way to
-
the ground and get back up because I am active enough to do
-
that. I could pull some people up here
-
right now and you can't do this right?
-
But this here is not like it was when I was 20 still.
-
And there's things I do naturally, plus being in faith
-
to allow me to do this at 56, OK.
-
And I'm going to be able to do it at 66768696.
-
I'll take 106, I'll take 116. I mean, I, I'll take it all.
-
I mean, I, I don't, I want to be active.
-
Hallelujah. Now, that doesn't mean that it
-
may be different because I don't have a glorified body.
-
However, I have a covenant and that covenant keeps me healthy
-
and in health to fulfill the plan and purpose of God.
-
I'll be honest with you, I much rather die through being
-
martyred then leave the planet through sickness.
-
The preferred method for me is just, I'm done.
-
Can I just be honest? That's the preferred method for
-
me. I mean, the preferred method for
-
me is that I've changed in the moment of a twinkling of an eye.
-
That's my #1 and that's what I'm banking on and that's what I'm
-
believing for, OK? Because somebody's got to fly.
-
Second greatest is I'm done. I lay down and I leave and there
-
was no health issues that caused that.
-
Third would be I would die for my faith.
-
This is my and this is my order based upon what I know in
-
Scripture that this is what I want.
-
This is what I desire because in the Kingdom healing is for me.
-
See, our spirits are not healed because you hear this a lot
-
traditionally. Well, you know He healed your
-
spirit. God does not heal your spirit.
-
No one has a healed spirit. Man, wait a minute now I was, I
-
was lost in my sin. I was dead in my transgression.
-
And then God saved me just right.
-
He resurrected a new spirit in you.
-
He did not heal the old one. He evicted the old one, and he
-
put a new one on the end. He resurrected the one He spoke
-
over Adam in the garden. Let you have dominion.
-
Let you be like me. And when you're born again,
-
you're like God. You're in Christ.
-
Your spirit man is alive like Jesus.
-
In that spirit. You're not Jesus, but you're in
-
the nature of God again, and that doesn't come from healing.
-
That comes from being dead to yourself and being raised to the
-
newness of life. You're a whole new species.
-
The Bible calls you a new creature, not a remodeled
-
creature, a healed creature, a restored creature, but a a new
-
one. So healing is not for your
-
spirit, but healing is for your soul and for your body because
-
God will touch your mind. God will heal you of bad
-
thoughts. He will heal you of of things
-
that cause. Again, they say the number one
-
contributor to physical sickness is stress.
-
Stress is a mental area. Well, God will give us perfect
-
peace where we can cast all of our care, which would be your
-
stress on the Lord because He cares for you.
-
You understand God has the ability to eliminate stress in
-
your life. He, he won't stop stress from
-
coming, but he can eliminate it once it comes.
-
You can release the stress and when you release the stress,
-
then guess what else you're doing?
-
You're helping your physical body.
-
Now I would submit to you this, and I know it has been proven
-
out scientifically. Not only do you need to read the
-
word for the renewing of your mind and to be able to get Peace
-
of Mind, but you do need to have some activity to release stress
-
as well. Stress is not just a mental
-
thing 'cause stress will get into your body and the way to
-
get it out of your body is to exert yourself physically.
-
Because I've done seasons of ministry where things became
-
stressful, challenges occurred and I would find myself putting
-
on the back burner. The workout did not negate
-
praying, did not negate pre reading the word and praying in
-
the holy. In fact, those increased, but
-
the physical exercise started to wane.
-
But in my battle of trying to release stress, it was still
-
showing up in my body. And if I had maintained my
-
physical exercise, then it never could have taken residence in my
-
skin suit. And I found that it was equally
-
as important because again, Kenneth the Hagin said this
-
concerning the gifts of the Spirit.
-
He said we separate them for the sake of teaching, but the one
-
that is the most powerful or the one that is the greatest is the
-
one that's needed at the time. We as believers, because of
-
selfish ambition, we want to know which one's the greatest,
-
the most powerful so that we can function in it.
-
So it really looks like we are holy and used of God more.
-
It's really about us looking something instead of God looking
-
something. We're just being honest.
-
OK, so teaching is designed to layer out truths, but not to
-
separate them to where they do not function together.
-
And you know, one thing that we've done in a truth teaching
-
is that we've identified that the man is a spirit, soul and
-
body. Typically it's preached this we
-
are spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body.
-
And we preach that it's only the Word of God that can separate
-
the spirit and the soul of man. Why Is it because they're so
-
intertwined? God did not make you spirit only
-
because even in the new heaven and new earth, we will be
-
spirit, soul and body. Because if we weren't going to
-
be a body, why do we get a glorified 1?
-
So what we do, unfortunately through tradition is we're like
-
Brian, the only thing that matters is that your spirit man
-
is alive to God. Forget about your brain.
-
We're not going to renew your mind.
-
It doesn't matter. We just want to, we want you to
-
know where you're going to go when you die.
-
And the rest of it really doesn't matter because all that
-
matters is that you're born again.
-
So we basically forfeit the the discipleship process of the
-
renewing of the mind, which means we have someone born of
-
God but lives like they're in the world.
-
And that's what Paul called a carnal Christian that was led
-
still by the flesh. Then you'll see many ministers
-
it, you know, when I say that there was a time, you know, I
-
don't really pay attention to a bunch of them anyway, but you
-
know that they would be pretty large people, no restraint in
-
what they ate. But you know, they're preaching
-
that all that matters. But yet your physical body
-
matters. And some left early because they
-
did not judge themselves rightly according to their physical
-
body. And some stand before the Lord,
-
and I guarantee the Lord saying, well, I had more because I'm
-
telling you God's not a respecter person.
-
And he sure talked to me about my body.
-
I remember when I was 47 years old, you know, I, I worked out,
-
you know, I've kind of been doing that since I was, you
-
know, in high school, really active in that, enjoyed it.
-
Didn't realize how much it helped me in ministry, honestly,
-
how great that was for me, for my mental acuity as well.
-
And so, you know, so All in all, I wasn't obese at all.
-
And so the Lord said, you need to change the way you eat.
-
And I'm like, why? My metabolism burns this stuff.
-
There's no problem. He says, son, you have no idea
-
what it's doing to your insides. And what I didn't know is what
-
was happening to my vascular system.
-
See, God knows everything about you.
-
You understand. That's why some people can be
-
extremely lean. You know, they could be the
-
model of fitness and still die of heart disease.
-
And God knows what's going on in your veins, your DNA, your
-
secular cellular matter, right? He knows this, and he'll talk to
-
you. Why?
-
Because he wants you to have long life.
-
It's asinine. Can I use that word?
-
It's asinine. Let's use that in our next book,
-
Rod. It's asinine for us to come and
-
receive healing for cancer and keep smoking.
-
And when the Lord began to talk to me about some things that he
-
said you need to quit ingesting this.
-
And again, I will never preach to you what to eat.
-
Scripture is pretty clear on that.
-
You need to identify yourself, what your body process.
-
My wife has phenomenal vascular system.
-
It's amazing. I mean, her veins, I mean, it's
-
so difficult to get her heart rate up.
-
I mean, she's just got clean pipes, man.
-
It's amazing. Me, man, I'm not like I can hit
-
188 like that. That's not great.
-
Now I don't feel it at all. I mean, I wouldn't have known.
-
I, I'm not gasping for air. I don't feel like I'm
-
lightheaded. I don't see dots, nothing.
-
But I can get there. Why?
-
Because I do have some constriction that I'm working on
-
to reverse. And don't you know, with natural
-
and believing God and knowing that I have healing, I can get
-
that thing reversed. I'm not saying that I'm going to
-
go back to a 20 year old, but you know what?
-
I won't stop God from doing it. I'm not using my age as an
-
excuse. What I'm saying is, is that I
-
want to be at the best I can be, knowing what the Spirit is
-
telling me to do, and in obedience to that, it will
-
change my life. OK, so our spirits were not
-
healed when we were born again. Our spirit is resurrected and is
-
a new creature in Christ. Again, healing is in the soul,
-
in the body. So let's look at some scripture
-
here because what we want to do is we want you to know in the
-
Kingdom, our Kingdom, the Kingdom God has brought us into,
-
there is a healthcare system where you are fully covered, you
-
have full coverage and it is only difficult for the carnal
-
mind to struggle with this. I had teenagers when I was in
-
youth ministry because they lived in homes where their
-
parents had great careers and had phenomenal 4 O1 KS and
-
investments and great health insurance.
-
Yet my family had no health insurance in the natural, but I
-
already knew I was fully covered, you know, and people
-
would stress over, you know, you need to get some coverage.
-
What if, what if I have Jesus? I mean, there is nothing I'm
-
going to encounter that Jesus cannot overcome.
-
Now, I'm not saying that I would turn away from natural
-
healthcare coverage no problem. And I've had it in my lifetime.
-
However, the healer is on the throne.
-
And what's crazy is I very rarely took my children to the
-
doctor because they were always healthy.
-
They were just healthy. They did not have a bunch of
-
sickness, disease, broken bones, issues.
-
It didn't happen. If something did occur, we
-
would. And I I spent less money paying
-
something in full than paying for health insurance that I
-
never used and co-pays I never had to enact and prescriptions I
-
never needed to grab because he heals now I wasn't opposed to.
-
I remember one time my oldest son got into some poison sumac
-
when we were in Oklahoma. Yeah, yes, Christopher, we were
-
had took some teenage boys out and did a camp over and they,
-
you know, played this game where they were hiding all night long.
-
And then we're on the bus coming back and his face looks like
-
he's sunburned, although this happened at night.
-
So like, wow, he's looking kind of red and got home and man, his
-
head started to swell. Yeah, I mean, it's swelled like
-
a basketball. And so I'm looking at him.
-
But I have a king. I said, Lord, do I need to take
-
him right now? You know, because number one,
-
you don't want their throats to close up and then they
-
suffocate, right? I mean, naturally as a parent,
-
you're going to like take care of your children.
-
But I have someone who knows and he says not necessary.
-
And I'm praying for his healing because now it's in a system and
-
it needs to run a course to a degree.
-
You know, unless the gifts get involved and I lay hands on and
-
poof is gone and that can happen, I have no problem with
-
that. Should the Lord want that right
-
through the gifts and so I stayed up all night.
-
He stayed in a chair. I mean, he looks so bad guys
-
that I'd never took a picture. You know, sometimes in
-
hindsight, like maybe I should have and we could have laughed
-
about it now, but it I mean, it looked that I'm like, I don't
-
even know if we want to remember this.
-
And so, you know, it did go down some that night.
-
I did take him to a person in the church that was a nurse and
-
they said, you know, steroid shot take care of this week.
-
There's no problem, Just come into the office.
-
So I bring him in. I mean, bro, he looks so sad.
-
He's in that. He's in that elevator, his
-
head's down. I mean, it's like, and he's
-
really thin, you know, And so his head's down and people walk
-
in like, you know, if they're just kind of shocked at his and
-
the, and the girl who knew my son and went to church with us,
-
when he walked in the office, I mean, she took a double take,
-
but gave him a steroid shot. And within two days gone.
-
I never stressed because I had peace and I knew he's already
-
fully covered. And you know what, the amount of
-
money to pay for steroids, I didn't care because the Lord's
-
going to provide anyway. And he did that day that it
-
didn't end up costing us anything.
-
So again, you know well, people want the security on man's
-
paper, but I've got God's paper, all those digital copy here that
-
tells me he heals and it's a part of his Kingdom.
-
And I have more confidence in that than any doctor I go to.
-
In fact, when I go to doctors today and my prayer is they
-
diagnosed correctly because they call it a practice for a reason,
-
right? Well, that didn't work.
-
Let's try this. Let me just go to the one who
-
knows what's going to work. Let's go there.
-
All right, Matthew chapter 4, verse 23 and 24.
-
I am not preaching. Never go to a doctor.
-
I'm not preaching. You shouldn't have your own
-
natural health cover. I am not preaching any of that.
-
I'm preaching that you're fully covered in the Kingdom and it
-
should be the one you go to 1st. Smith Wigglesworth said this, a
-
man of faith, you know, back in the late 1800s, of which it was
-
attributed to him and his ministry.
-
There was multiple healings. And this man was not an educated
-
man. In fact, he was a plumber that
-
got born again because his wife was an example before him.
-
And he only read one book, the Bible, because he was actually
-
illiterate and it's the only book he could read.
-
If he jumped over to a paper, for whatever reason, he couldn't
-
read it. He was a little, but he could do
-
the Word. God revealed the word to him,
-
and it's attributed to his ministry that 23 people were
-
raised from the dead. Now, he didn't raise them.
-
God raised them through the gifts, but yet it was
-
attributed. And one particular account, a
-
man was dead. He picked him up and threw him
-
against the wall and he fell back in the same position he was
-
when he picked him up. And he did it again, and he did
-
it again, and then he did it and He's alive.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Well, he heard something and he
-
didn't let those actions. Well, you understand, people in
-
the in the hospitals bring people back, but some don't,
-
right? All right, But our Lord can.
-
He is the resurrection in the life people.
-
Hallelujah. I mean, if anyone could bring
-
somebody back, it's the Lord. In fact, he kind of laughs about
-
it when you think otherwise, right?
-
OK, Matthew 423 and 24 says this.
-
Jesus was going through all Galilee teaching in their
-
synagogues. He went to church and
-
proclaiming the gospel of the what Kingdom and healing every
-
kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.
-
So there's no sickness, even the incurable ones that he did not
-
heal say Amen. There's diseases and sicknesses.
-
We understand a flu is not cancer, One's a sickness, 1's a
-
disease. But guess what God can do to
-
both heal them both. Verse 24 the news about him
-
spread through all Syria and they brought to him all who were
-
I'll those suffering with various diseases pains demoniacs
-
because the devil uses sickness and disease to oppress people
-
and he'll keep spirits attached to people.
-
So you understand sometimes doctors are at a disadvantage.
-
In fact, a lot of times doctors will be at a disadvantage
-
because they're treating a symptom that actually has a
-
spirit attached to it. Jesus did this with a woman bent
-
over right. You know, we have some
-
chiropractors that you know are in our church.
-
And again, if, if they were not born of God and had spiritual
-
discernment, someone come and bend over, they're going to do
-
natural things to try to help straighten their spine.
-
But the Lord doesn't tell the woman, doesn't speak to her and
-
say you're back, straighten. He said he rebuked a spirit of
-
infirmity that was on her and caused her to be bound over to
-
where she walked like this. So what we may be calling
-
scoliosis today, Come on, every case may not be scoliosis.
-
OK, I know that this can make it sound like you're meddling
-
because you're like, who are you?
-
You're not a medical professional.
-
I am a theological professional. If you go to a doctor, because
-
he's a medical professional, well, I am a professional in the
-
studying of God and God heals them all.
-
He heals them all. So I'll never take a testimony
-
of a non healing over that. God can heal.
-
I'm not going to let that infiltrate my mind period.
-
And for me, I'm just always trying to raise myself to the
-
level of what's obvious in Scripture and that is the
-
Kingdom has me fully covered. All right, So epileptics,
-
paralytics, and he what, what did he do?
-
Go back to verse 24. He healed them.
-
I said he healed them no problem.
-
We know the one that you know, they ripped the roof off, laid,
-
put the friend down in there that was paralyzed.
-
Get up, take up your mat, walk. And he was healed that day.
-
No additional rehabilitation, no more, you know, in home health
-
care. He was healed that day.
-
I'm not against any of the other stuff.
-
I'm just saying in the Kingdom, the expectation is I can be made
-
whole. This is what I like about Keith
-
Dunkle. You know, when he got the issue,
-
you know, with his foot, he was proclaimed I am going to walk
-
again. That's right, I'm a walk.
-
And you know, he never would take a thought process that I'm
-
going to be stuck in a wheelchair and I'm never going
-
to walk again because him and his mom and family already knew
-
what the scripture has said. And for them, at the end of the
-
day, we going to do everything we're supposed to do secondary
-
to what we already believe. Keith will not stay like this.
-
That was their first thought. He will not stay like this.
-
So Lord, whatever you want us to do, he'll do.
-
You will do because he will not stay like this.
-
He will walk and he walks. Say Amen.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
He's the healer. I drive now too.
-
You drive now, too. Come on.
-
See what I'm saying? Now that's good news.
-
Now, what kind of critic would say, yeah, but you still.
-
I mean, seriously, the guy was in a wheelchair.
-
Couldn't do Jack. Nearly died.
-
Yeah, nearly died and now he's back to driving.
-
I mean, let's give God glory. Hallelujah.
-
Let's definitely don't become religion, a religious skeptic or
-
Pharisee to say, well, until I see it like this, oh,
-
Hallelujah, I'll just be quiet. Hallelujah.
-
I mean, seriously, God's at work here, people, and we're going to
-
give God glory. Amen.
-
Amen. Luke Chapter 9 verse 11 says
-
this. But the crowds were aware of
-
this and followed him and welcoming them.
-
He began speaking to them about the Kingdom of God and curing
-
those who had need of healing. Notice in both of these
-
passages, the Kingdom of God is being ministered.
-
He's preaching about the Kingdom of God and the demonstration
-
that the Kingdom of God he preaches about.
-
He heals people. He heals people, He preaches
-
Kingdom and guess what happens in the Kingdom?
-
You're healed. This is just part of our
-
benefits. Hallelujah.
-
And listen, this is not solely a new covenant reality.
-
This is not solely a new covenant reality.
-
Look at this in Acts. In Acts, the writers obviously
-
recounting which I believe Paul speaking here concerning the
-
exodus of the people of Israel in Acts chapter 13 verse 17, it
-
says the God of this people Israel chose our fathers and
-
made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt.
-
And with an uplifted arm, He led them out from it.
-
Did he lead them out man? He delivered them right and he
-
delivered them from being slaves.
-
They multiplied greatly. Then they were oppressed and
-
then God showed up and ended up, you know, dismantling that
-
government and then LED them out.
-
But Psalms 10537 tells us how he brought them out.
-
It says this. Then he brought them out with
-
silver and gold. Why?
-
Because look how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth, who went
-
around doing good. He brought provision for them.
-
In essence, all the time they worked as slaves, they were paid
-
in that generation. Are you hearing me?
-
They brought out that wealth. Secondly, it goes on and says
-
and among his tribes there was not one who stumbled.
-
Now that's think about this. They have been we come in on
-
this account when Moses shows up and goes to Pharaoh and says the
-
Lord says God says let my people go.
-
And Pharaoh's like, who in the world is your God?
-
I mean, we got gods here. We have gods we worship.
-
They're they're the real gods. I don't know who your God is,
-
right? God said let my people go.
-
So they didn't come out worship him.
-
I don't know you God. The minute he leaves the room,
-
what does he say? He says you make it harder on
-
the people. So that what this guy's telling
-
that nation that are our slaves make his words seem like they're
-
lies. So what's the next day?
-
The next day, they don't bring straw anymore.
-
But they tell the leaders of Israel that they've made over
-
their own people to make sure they have so many bricks.
-
You need to have this many bricks.
-
Where? Where's the straw?
-
You have to get it yourself. But we will not reduce the
-
quota. And if you do not do it, we're
-
going to Stripes are showing up on you.
-
And they were beaten. So you understand.
-
This nation was physically abusing, but yet they came out
-
strong. I said they came out strong.
-
Why? Because when God, when they go
-
through the Red Sea, when they get to the others, when they're
-
coming out now they and it's not even the Red Sea.
-
I'm telling you, when they're coming out, they have the
-
ability to carry wealth loaded up, and not just silver and
-
gold, but all kinds of fine material.
-
And they're able to go and walk, have the physical stamina to get
-
to the Red Sea, go through the Red Sea, get to the other side.
-
What's God saying? My nation is a nation of healed
-
people. Because if you're my people, I
-
want you whole. And wholeness is spirit, soul,
-
and body. This is why First Thessalonians
-
says that our spirit, soul, and body remain blameless.
-
Amen. So please, as you age, I'm
-
aging. As you age, do not settle for
-
certain things. Just like you would go to a
-
doctor and follow a prescription, stay in the word,
-
do that prescription. Make sure that's the first thing
-
you're because the word does good like a medicine and it will
-
actually heal you. It won't mask symptoms like a
-
lot of prescription drugs do. They mask, they're not curing
-
the they're masking the pain. They give you pain.
-
What's it called? Management.
-
What's pain management? Well, my back was hurting, but
-
I've taken this. I don't feel anything.
-
But your back's not healed, and actually, you could be doing
-
more damage because you're picking stuff up you shouldn't
-
pick up, and you can't feel that you shouldn't pick it up.
-
I mean, pain is actually a mechanism to say, hey, stop,
-
you're going to hurt yourself. You're doing that the wrong way,
-
right? I didn't design you to pick it
-
up that way. Don't do that.
-
Right? So not every ailment is
-
sickness. Oh, that kind of hurts.
-
That's a warning. God saying, hey, I didn't build
-
you that way. Amen.
-
Now soreness of muscle to build muscle, that is a pain you want,
-
right? But you know, not to the point
-
that you've destroyed your muscle and now it's not even
-
effective. But there is a pain that you do
-
want. OK, and that just build
-
something else. All right, let's go on Matthew
-
chapter 10 verse 7 to 9 says this and as you go so again now
-
Jesus is telling people we know that Jesus we've already seen a
-
2 scripture. Let everything be confirmed by
-
two or three witness and I just gave you a couple.
-
I could have given you more, but we see every time Jesus talks
-
about the Kingdom, he's healing people.
-
So he's he is clearly communicating if back in the old
-
covenant I've demonstrated because he said this to his
-
nation. If you'll just obey what I said,
-
if you do what I do in this dispensation, the man, you're
-
going to be a healthy nation. You're all your livestock is
-
going to be fruitful. You're going to be fruitful as
-
husband and wife. You're going to be able to
-
multiply. Everything you put the hand to
-
is going to prosper. I mean, it's going to be awesome
-
because of my nation. Health and healing is just what
-
we have. Provision is just there that
-
comes with me. I'm the king of the Kingdom and
-
that's what my Kingdom looks like.
-
And it's not just for me. It's for all citizens, all those
-
that are my people. He has no problem Sherry Jesus
-
then in the new covenant as he's inaugurating coming to
-
inaugurate the new covenant again is is communicating.
-
Listen, when the Kingdom is present, the benefits of the
-
Kingdom are manifesting and what we don't want to do is become
-
religiously tradition that we accept just knowing where we're
-
going to go and we die. But we want every benefit that
-
comes with the Kingdom. Now this Kingdom having healing
-
was so important that not only did God perform it, Jesus
-
himself, but the disciples were able to do it as well, right?
-
Look what it says again in Matthew 10, seven and nine.
-
It says as you go preach saying the Kingdom of heaven is at
-
hand. Then he goes on and says, heal
-
the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out
-
demons. Freely you receive, freely give.
-
Now look at verse 9 and I put 9 on.
-
I could have stopped today but I put 9 intentionally because when
-
I saw nine, I'm like, I'm going to say that.
-
Do not acquire gold or silver or copper for your money belt.
-
The natural healthcare system requires you to pay for it.
-
The Kingdom healthcare system says you don't even have to
-
there. No money exchange is required.
-
Hallelujah. So when you hear someone say,
-
now the Lord wants to hear you, if you'll give this amount, that
-
is false teaching. That's a false teacher, false
-
prophet, a false apostle. That's a hireling, not a pastor.
-
OK, that's error because God is not requiring gold, silver,
-
copper, anything to financially support you because you
-
administered healing to somebody.
-
Amen. Wouldn't it be awesome you'd
-
walk into a place and they just took care of you and never sent
-
a bill? Come on, say Amen.
-
Yeah, well, you can make a transaction from heaven.
-
Glory to God. I said you can make a
-
transaction from heaven. This is why I seek first the
-
Kingdom, because again, even if I'm in a situation I can first
-
go to the King of Canada, whatever he says, I'm going to
-
do whatever he says. Because if he tells me to go to
-
doctor because something's going on in my body that needs to be
-
removed or I need to gain access to more knowledge so that I can
-
speak against it by faith or get the word on it, then I'm going
-
to do that no problem. However, I'm always going to the
-
King of Kings first because he's already paid the price.
-
He's already paid the price. So when you go to the Kingdom
-
hospital, so to speak, no co-pays the insurance is the
-
stripes on the back of Jesus. Because think about it, stripes
-
on his physical body did not save you.
-
That's right, it's the blood and that blood was poured on a mercy
-
seat in heaven. It's the shedding of blood that
-
is the remission of sin. It's the stripes on the back
-
that is the paid in full coverage for your health
-
insurance while you're on the earth.
-
Hallelujah to fulfill the will of God.
-
Hallelujah. So someone says, well, do you
-
have insurance? You bet I got the best insurance
-
ever fully covered, no co-pays, zero out of pocket expense for
-
me. I mean really the only out of
-
pocket expense that I have is the currency I carry in the
-
Kingdom called faith. All I have to do is release
-
faith and it causes it to happen.
-
Hallelujah, I said Hallelujah. Aren't you glad you're healed?
-
Aren't you glad it's more than just where you're going to go
-
when you die? Look at Luke Chapter 9 verse one
Luke 9 chapter mention
-
to two. It says this.
-
And he called the 12 together and gave them power and
-
authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.
-
There's nowhere that you'll ever find Jesus saying to an
-
individual, I've given you power so that you can put cancer on
-
somebody so I can teach them something.
-
And the crazy thing about that kind of traditional thinking,
-
well, you know, the Lord put this on me because he need to
-
get my attention, right? God does not use sickness and
-
disease as an attention getter. You're not going to find that
-
scripture. OK, but they say that, you know,
-
so he put it on me because he's trying to teach me something.
-
Well, there should be two follow up questions.
-
The first one is, have you learned?
-
Right? Should be your first follow up
-
question. Then maybe this one is we'll
-
have you gone to the doctor. Yes.
-
And you say why? Because if he's trying to teach
-
you something, why are you trying to be disobedient by
-
getting it off you until you learn that's just what we call
-
critical thinking. But a lot of times, you know,
-
because the, you know, if we don't watch out, the body of
-
Christ is just hearing what the minister says without actually
-
studying the word for themselves.
-
And basically they want you to depend on what they say.
-
And then they try to preach in a way that identifies with how you
-
feel. Not really what is good to grow
-
you, right? Because when it's good to grow
-
you, then you have to determine, man, what I think about this may
-
not be correct. And we've already said this too,
-
just to put you in remembrance that that Paul told Timothy, he
-
said, I need you to rebuke, correct and instruct 2/3 means
-
you're going to have to change something.
-
That's right. Which means when you come to
-
church, 2/3 of the message should make you go I may be
-
wrong. And that's not condemnation,
-
that's growing you. A rebuke is not to offend you.
-
A rebuke is to release a thought in you that is hindering the
-
power of God to work in your life.
-
Correcting you is trying to help you perform at your peak
-
performance because if you keep doing it this way, you're going
-
to have what you have. My, my, my wife, I mean, my
-
mother in And he says, you're picking your head up.
-
Now, I've played golf enough now to know that I still don't know
-
when my head's coming up other than the trajectory of the ball
-
yet I do not know it happened until the ball goes low.
-
It's like it's the byproduct of topping the ball because and
-
there's nothing about me that I've like, I picked up my I'm
-
like, I feel like I'm staring at this ball.
-
I'm not lifting up my head. I mean, you feel that way and
-
you know, she's like, that's why I don't play with him because
-
what I do wrong, he goes, you don't want to know you're
-
picking your head up. No, I'm not.
-
Well, yeah, you are right, Seth. Yes, you are what I do.
-
You picked your head up. You know you're I didn't pick my
-
head up, bro. Apparently, a millimeter is a
-
lot people in golf, Right. OK.
-
The point is, is that sometimes instruction or correction comes
-
in, you're like, I'm not doing. Yeah, you are.
-
Yes. And that's not to condemn you.
-
It's to correct something so that you become more consistent
-
at being victorious because if you do not correct, you'll
-
always do. I mean, some golfers have a
-
slice. They don't correct it.
-
They just adjust their body and hit the same way.
-
They're not, they're doing it wrong all the time, but I'm
-
going to slice this way. So you're hit going toward the
-
parking lot so you can get in the fairway.
-
Because you know what? They're unwilling to change
-
their form and admit or say, you know what, I can learn from
-
somebody. And when you're learning from
-
someone I know, Seth showed me a couple things that I'm like, OK,
-
that feels weird, you know, because that wasn't what felt
-
natural. But what was natural had
-
horrible results. People.
-
I did, honestly, I thought I was never going to be able to play
-
because it never got off the ground.
-
I didn't matter what club I used.
-
I'm like, I don't even know why the Lord spoke to me about this.
-
This is ridiculous. I mean, I went with Kenny one
-
multiple times and he was showing me stuff and I'm like,
-
this poor guy's probably like this guy's hopeless.
-
I mean, it was horrible. I'm like, if you can't get it
-
off the ground, I mean, this far is not good.
-
But eventually found where I could get it and it took some
-
time, but we got there because I'm like, what am I doing wrong?
-
I embrace the correction because I wanted a different results and
-
what we have to do is we have to say, you know what have I lived
-
my whole life accepting something about symptoms that
-
maybe I need to correct so I can get a different result.
-
Luke chapter 10 verse 9 says this and it says again, the
-
disciples he said and heal those in it who are sick and say to
-
them, the Kingdom of God has come near to you.
-
Now I love this scripture because this scripture is
-
clearly Jesus communicating to disciples.
-
Healing of a person's physical body is a result that the
-
Kingdom of God is here. The Kingdom wants you healthy.
-
He doesn't want us, and God wants it so much that he's going
-
to give us a whole new body. It's going to be amazing what
-
God wants to do, what he's doing in the earth.
-
Now, let me address this one thought process in closing.
-
The number one thing that that attacks anyone's mind when you
-
minister on the healthcare system of the Kingdom and
-
demonstrates emphatically they got healed.
-
All that He dealt with, all that he dealt with that in our
-
society, they were like, well, you know, people don't always
-
get healed. So maybe it's not always God's
-
will, right? Well, let me throw out another
-
idea. Is it God's will?
-
So again, that thinking is this, because you see someone who
-
doesn't get or receive healing that loves God.
-
And I'm not saying they don't love God.
-
I'm not saying they're not born of God, but they do not receive
-
healing, right? Because we see this and they go
-
on to be with the Lord because of a sickness, a disease that
-
God didn't want to do that. So that becomes now this belief
-
system, God can heal. We know that we have no problem.
-
We know he's a healer. However, there are times, you
-
know, he may not be willing to do that.
-
And he's God, His ways are higher than our ways.
-
His thoughts. You know, I'm going to throw
-
some other scriptures to support this tradition, right?
-
And then it becomes an accepted fact.
-
But let me ask this question. Do you know anybody who you know
-
that they're in hell? You know, based upon their life
-
and when they died, you'd be hard pressed unless something
-
really happened. It's some moment that you didn't
-
know. All indication is you would it
-
would you're you're hoping to be shocked, but the evidence of
-
their life is that they're separated from God forever.
-
They never accepted Jesus. Now does God want everyone saved
-
and we'll quote that scripture. God desires that none would
-
perish, but that all would come to repentance, but not everyone
-
does that doesn't change God's will.
-
Is that all he wants? Because all whoever called on
-
his name, what happens to them, they're saved.
-
That's right. And he doesn't say now for you.
-
No, no, bro. You see this list?
-
I got on you, bro. I mean, this is crazy.
-
And there's no way I'm forgiving this, trusting that you're going
-
to really do right. That's not God.
-
God's like the bloods here. Doesn't matter.
-
I've paid it all. It is on you my desire.
-
We would never go say no Lord, do you want to save me?
-
Is it your will to save me? We would never pray with someone
-
will be brown and say the Lord I pray for my brother here.
-
I don't know if it's your will for them to be saved today.
-
I hope it is. I want it to be.
-
We would never do that but yet we do it with healing and notice
-
healing is the thing that Jesus broke through something with the
-
religious that infuriated them and it was through the paralyzed
-
guy. He comes down and Jesus says
-
your sins are forgiven. Bro.
-
The religious in the room were like this guy's a blasphemer.
-
Only God can forgive sin, he said.
-
Which is easier? Which is easier, to forgive this
-
man a sin or to heal him? To let you know I have
-
authority. We'll never pray with someone at
-
an altar now, Lord, if it's your will for them to be saved today,
-
Lord, I pray it's your will. Not sure.
-
We would never do that with salvation.
-
Why do we do it with healing? No, what we do is we're like, I
-
need you to understand God loves you.
-
He's he has paid the price for you.
-
His blood is on the mercy seat for you.
-
He has already done everything to save you.
-
You just only have to believe and receive and Jesus said which
-
is easier and the person that doesn't become saved, why?
-
I've done too much. No, he couldn't and they
-
convinced themselves that they don't deserve.
-
A lot of times in healing we convince ourselves it's not a
-
priority, it's not important to God.
-
He's got more important things to do than deal with.
-
I'll I'll deal with it. It's my burden to bear.
-
And Jesus said, well then why did I take the stripes?
-
Because for every drop of blood on the mercy seat that doesn't
-
get applied to the one who's cast into the lake of fire, the
-
blood still there. And for everyone who doesn't
-
receive healing, lost or saved, the stripes are still there.
-
Let's pray. Father, we love you, we honor
-
you, we thank you. You're the King of kings and the
-
Lord of Lords. We thank you, Lord, that the
-
healing is for us today. Just like salvation, which is
-
easier. And we know it's easy.
-
It's easy for a person to be born again.
-
All they have to do is call on the name of the Lord and they
-
will be saved. They'll become a new creature in
-
Christ Jesus. The old will pass away and
-
behold, all things will become new.
-
And Father, if that can happen in the Spirit, then Lord, you
-
can also heal our mortal bodies, and we're thankful for that.
-
Whatever your head bow and every eye close, no one's looking
-
around. If you're here today and you've
-
not confessed Jesus as Lord, it's easy to be saved because
-
Jesus has paid the price for everything that you've done
-
against the Kingdom of God and you're really without excuse.
-
Your, your, your, your personal actions, your own personal walk
-
separate from God is not good enough.
-
You must acknowledge that he's the only way, His blood's the
-
only atoning factor, payment factor to redeem you, and you
-
must fully submit to his Lordship to be born of God.
-
And if that's you today saying, man, I know I'm not right with
-
God. I want to be right with God.
-
I need to know I'm a child of God.
-
I want to be saved. And salvation is not a
-
destination, it's destiny. It's not about where you're
-
going when you die. It's about who comes and lives
-
on the inside of you now and what you can participate in
-
today. It's about becoming a child of
-
God now, not an exit strategy when you leave and so fast, you
-
today say, Pastor Earl, I don't know if I'm right with God.
-
I want to know. I want to receive the
-
forgiveness that God has. I want a new nature in me.
-
I want to live for God. Would you lift your hand?
-
Anyone at all? I'm looking around anyone at
-
all. Hallelujah.
-
Oh, Lord, thank you for your word today.
-
And I'm not going to lay hands on anybody today because I want
-
this to grow us to grow in faith.
-
But we're going to lay hands on people because when you know,
-
let me close with this thought. During the healing revivals in
-
the late 40s, fifties, they have big tent revivals and people
-
were being healed coming out of wheelchairs.
-
All kinds of miraculous things will happen.
-
There's two things God was trying to do because Kenneth the
-
Hagin who was a part of that said those revivals stop because
-
man miss what God was doing. Man began to look at the person
-
God was that had yielded to him and was laying hands on people
-
in the miraculous was happening. They were looking at the man
-
instead of realizing they had that ability as a St.
-
And I'm telling you, in these last days, God is not trying to
-
raise up some man or woman of God that you have to run to to
-
have your hand hands laid on you.
-
If He tells you to do it, go do it by all rights because you
-
obey the word of the King. However, we all have this power
-
in us. Those who believe will lay hands
-
on the sick. I believe in these last days we
-
have to rise as a church body and say it's in me.
-
But if if you can't believe healing for yourself, how will
-
you believe God's using you to lay hands on others?
-
It becomes a little more difficult.
-
It can be a challenge. I said it can be a challenge.
-
And so he was trying to instruct the church.
-
I've given this to the church walking healing.
-
But I found out that the reason so many people were being healed
-
because back then, unlike our society today, they did two week
-
meetings, three-week meetings. People were coming every night
-
and they were preaching on it every night, which means faith
-
rose. Faith comes by.
-
And every night they were hearing about the healing power
-
of God every night. Another example in the Word of
-
how God always healed. Another passage of Scripture,
-
another exhortation of Scripture and faith rose.
-
In fact, I found out that Kenneth the Hagin that he had in
-
his ministry a card that he gave to everyone that showed up in
-
his meetings and they they were required to have it punched five
-
times just to come down to be laid hands on.
-
See what we do when we look at it on YouTube.
-
We're like, oh, like the person just went down, happened to walk
-
in, been there 15 minutes and the power of God on the man of
-
God made it happen. No, he made them sit for five
-
services to hear. He wanted their faith to rise.
-
He didn't want it just depended on the gifts.
-
He wanted faith to rise because when faith rise, more healings
-
can occur. And they had to bring their car
-
down, Don give it to the usher to prove.
-
And The only exception to that rule is if he in the gifts saw
-
somebody and God highlighted them and he ended up doing
-
something. Well, that's something totally
-
different. Which reminds me of one time
-
that Pastor Hagen came in a living faith conference.
-
Traditionally they do the laying on of hands the last service and
-
they were with us first night first night my wife's ex stepdad
-
and his new wife showed up. The one who paid mine and my
-
wife's last year to go to school came to the service walked in
-
the building. They were crying of all that God
-
had done. And I remember telling them, I
-
said, because you planted a seed in US, so to us you got a part
-
to play in this harvest. Put them on the front row right
-
here. What we didn't know because they
-
didn't tell us is both of them, we're dealing with some major
-
health challenges. And Pastor Hagen got up and
-
began to pray. He says, you know, tonight I'm
-
going to. I normally wait till, but
-
tonight I believe I'm supposed to lay hands on the sick.
-
And when the healing line came, they were the first ones up and
-
got the first dose. Boom boom.
-
And they were both healed that night.
-
Hallelujah. I said Hallelujah.
-
But that may not be every time. Sometimes God may need you to
-
rise in your faith, but in order to rise in your faith, you have
-
to acknowledge sometimes. Have I accepted a tradition
-
about what I think about what's going on in my body?
-
I mean, every time I'm in, in, in any meeting, I'm like, Lord,
-
what do I still need to learn about this?
-
What do I still need to know? Can you show me some additional
-
things? Is there anything I mean, I need
-
to throw out because I don't know everything?
-
I've learned a lot from you already, but I know there's
-
still so much more. And keep training me, keep
-
teaching me, keep instructing me, keep correcting me.
-
Rebuke me if you have to tell me you're wrong.
-
Quit believing it that way because I just want to do your
-
will. And then when you're hungry like
-
that, because Smith Wigglesworth me close to that story, He said
-
It seems to me again, multiple people healed, 23 raised from
-
the dead in the ministry. He believed in healing that
-
much, in the power of God to overcome things in physical
-
bodies. But he said today's advancement
-
of medical science is going to make it very difficult for the
-
believer to believe in healing from God.
-
And today we see that so much so that we've typically have
-
developed these traditions. Well, God has given the doctors
-
wisdom, and that's how he's doing healing today.
-
That's not true. Can he use a doctor?
-
Yes. But he has not sidelined the
-
laying on of hands. He's not sidelined the gifts of
-
the Spirit. He's not sidelined the spoken
-
word. He has not sidelined your faith
-
to medical science. He has not elevated a
-
professional doctor to produce his works.
-
Can he use them? Yes, but they are not primary.
-
They are a secondary source. I said They're a secondary
-
source that is there to supplement the primary, and that
-
is Jesus Christ the Healer. Amen.
