His Hands Through Ours - Kingdom Healthcare

-
All right, so tonight's Wednesday night, we're going to
-
finish out on talking about God's Kingdom Healthcare.
-
I appreciate Pastor Mike ministering along these lines
-
last week. Amen.
-
And what a great message, right? I love that he started over in
-
Proverbs 4 when he was saying that we can be in health.
-
That's powerful. You know, I mean as many times
-
as I've read that, you know, I loved how he said now notice
-
it's not healing. You can be in health and in that
-
what you want to try to live towards where you're just
-
walking in health. Now again, we're not saying that
-
you couldn't have something come, but you understand, I
-
mean, I haven't been to a doctor.
-
I'm talking about because I'm sick.
-
I haven't been. I can't even remember the last
-
time and what few elements I have are so small that over the
-
counter should I need something is I need nothing powerful to
-
knock something out at all. And even those things man, I
-
mean Benadryl may be the only thing I take, or an aspirin.
-
That's it. That's it.
-
I can't think of another thing I've taken in a decade or more
-
now. Again, why?
-
Is it because I tell you was because of what I inclined my
-
ear to the word and you know, it was doing thing.
-
Now, I did other stuff too, OK. There was natural things that
-
I've done too. You know, I've stayed in in an
-
exercise routine because that's positive, right?
-
And, you know, I've had to change the way I eat as well.
-
So that's, you know, something I've done, but it's not like I
-
haven't gone off the reservation.
-
A few times. Right.
-
You know, I'm not religious eater.
-
I am a, you know, aware eater and, and I'm aware that when I
-
eat a little crazy, I feel it. And it's amazing when you get
-
clean, how quick it is to know that was not clean.
-
Food that was not clean 'cause you'll fill it in your joints,
-
the inflammation, you'll be like, I mean, you probably feel
-
this when you're 30. You know, we just thought it was
-
probably normal at the time. I don't know, it's just when you
-
get clean, you're like anyway, but I'd love that be in health.
-
And and so, you know, again, you know, people sometimes get
-
around us and are shocked you have no healthcare.
-
No, no medical, you're not. I don't go.
-
I mean, I don't know what to tell you.
-
I don't go and if I had to, but I don't go.
-
I mean, I'm not saying I wouldn't, but I don't praise the
-
Lord. You know, when you live in the
-
will of God, doing what he's called you to do and you're in
-
the word, you can actually. And you know what me saying
-
this, I don't know why believers aren't like bro.
-
How does that happen? I want that.
-
I mean that really should be our response, not like.
-
I hope he gets sick and goes to the hospital next week.
-
You know, some people are like that, you know, because again,
-
well, I had to go. I'm not making let I'm just
-
saying I, I wasn't trying to be this way other than just trying
-
to be in the will of God. And this is the result of it is
-
what we're saying, because we're applying scripture.
-
And I'm just saying the word works and and and God's not a
-
respecter of person. And so you could go decades,
-
decades without ever having to be rushed to an emergency room,
-
rushed to a hospital, all of this, praise God, and we can
-
have this. Yeah.
-
I think that's the last time we've been other than people
-
outside our immediate family. Our pregnancies definitely went
-
to the hospital with pregnancies.
-
Although could I have done it at the house if my wife was about
-
to go? Sure, I'd have been ready,
-
right? Praying in tongues for sure,
-
however. You know, I like somebody little
-
more experienced than myself doing that, all right.
-
But my idea, I think the Sean was the last time we went to
-
emergency wrinkles, he broke his collarbone in high school.
-
He graduated in 2005, so that was probably 2000.
-
Was it 5? I think it was 566.
-
Nah, it was five. Yeah, it was 5.
-
So that was probably 2004. So that was what, 22 years ago?
-
Glory to God. Amen.
-
The Lord is good, so let's live and help.
-
Obviously Pastor Mike took some time to let you know there's
-
some things that can, you know, challenge you walking in health
-
and that is if you're in unforgiveness, right, it affects
-
your love walk. You need to be walking
-
forgiveness and then stress, right?
-
And so you don't want to have that and I'm thankful that he
-
pointed a couple of those out. I'm going to talk about one very
-
briefly tonight, although my emphasis is not to talk about
-
what hinders your healing. We'll come back and have to do
-
that later date tonight. I'm going to lay hands on
-
people. And so I just want us to be able
-
to see as Pastor Mike spoke last time and and I had learned just
-
recently that during this great the great healing revivals that
-
you could go on and watch YouTube of people being healed
-
miraculously. And you know where they're
-
coming out of wheelchairs and they're coming off their
-
crutches. And you know, people that are on
-
beds are standing up and walking all kinds of stuff.
-
You know, we're seeing that we're like, where's God doing
-
that? But you and he had said last
-
week, what we don't realize is those people were in those
-
meetings for weeks on end. So faith came by hearing and
-
those ministers were actually specifically saying we will not
-
lay hands on you unless you've been this many times in the
-
meeting because they knew they needed their faith because they
-
were not just functioning off the gifts, they were also
-
functioning with faith. And there's the faith of just
-
laying on of hands without any gifts being an operation and
-
faith of the person coming and man, when the faith of a person
-
comes and the faith of the ministers there, then it can do
-
it can heal a lot of things. Now the gifts do get involved
-
when they're required because just regular faith of man will
-
not get the job done. God has to bring His aspect
-
through the gifts, but you know, in today's society, we want
-
things so fast and you know the the even commitment within the
-
church. Now I'm y'all do really great
-
and I'm talking on Wednesday night you know, but I believe
-
and I want to encourage. You you should stir up.
-
Those that you see on Sunday and say, man, I need to see you on
-
Sunday, I need to see you on Wednesday.
-
When you see him on Sunday, you know.
-
When we first started the church, we.
-
Were only like 10-15 people difference between the two
-
services for like 2 years. It was amazing, you know, and I
-
know things get going, but again, what are those things?
-
And should those things? And we got to ask those
-
questions and all the mores we see the day approaching because
-
there's going to be a lot vying for your time.
-
And you don't want the trumpet to blow and you don't have
-
enough oil in your lamp. So with that being said, let's
-
stand for the reading of the word.
-
I'm going to start with this one verse.
-
So there'd be a quick stand. Amen.
-
And we're going to talk about His hands through ours.
-
Matthew chapter 8 verse 3 reads this way.
-
Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him saying I am willing
-
be cleansed and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
-
You can be seated. We're going to see here and not
-
my the, the assignment that God gave me specifically tonight is
-
just to show you in Scripture that the laying on of hands will
-
transmit the healthcare provision and power through the
-
anointing into your body to be healed and you can receive it
-
and be healed period. And again, they are not it's not
-
it has nothing to do with my hands.
-
It has to do with faith in laying on of hands.
-
I'm going to be, I'm going to tell you, let me, I'm making
-
very clear, I have no special anointing.
-
I have no fire that's in my hands.
-
I'm not going to tell you that. I'm not going to say that at
-
times things haven't happened. But you know what?
-
It doesn't like Papa. I don't go flame on, OK?
-
I don't do that. I operate by faith and the
-
majority of things I do are by faith.
-
Now, I'm not against those that God wants to utilize and they
-
tend to, you know, operate along those lines a little bit.
-
I have no issue there because the result is not the person,
-
it's the healing and the minute you get your eyes.
-
And the reason why those healing revivals ended is because the
-
people got focused on the people that were laying on instead of
-
the one who did, and they miss that.
-
If he can lay hands, then I can lay hands.
-
So instead of people having to be drugged to a tent, they could
-
just start doing it in their own offices.
-
And so I'm always pushing things away from me, back to you,
-
because God wants the church to exercise all of its authority
-
and not just the fivefold gifts doing.
-
It. So again, that's why I don't put
-
any things on that. In fact, I'm going to be like
-
Jesus, I do not even want you to post your healing.
-
Just know you were healed. Then you can tell somebody and
-
I'll even tell our little camera if they take, we won't even put
-
we won't even talk about it because Jesus help people say
-
now tell no one. Now there's nothing wrong with
-
telling somebody. I'm not going overboard, OK, but
-
I'm just saying I'm not here. We're not here to advertise to
-
the point that we're trying to get people to show up just so
-
they can be healed. Now, if they hear that people
-
are being healed here and the Kingdom Healthcare is
-
functioning here, well, they ain't come on their own, praise
-
God. But more importantly, maybe they
-
don't even have to get here. They just come here because
-
they're like the person who was here laid hands on me at work
-
and I was healed. And it seemed like all the
-
people coming here are laying hands on people when they're
-
sick. Whether they have an allergy, a
-
cold, a fever, the flu, cancer, tuberculosis, doesn't matter.
-
They're healed. What's going on with this whole
-
group of people? Well, this called the Kingdom of
-
God, OK? But again, Jesus is willing all
-
the time because he has paid the price.
-
For us to be healed and immediately in this day, the
-
leprosy that was literally incurable was cleansed.
-
Hallelujah. And not only was he cleansed
-
from his sickness or his disease, he had the ability to
-
go back to the temple and worship his God.
-
Wow. So this is way bigger.
-
And you understand, we don't make that connection.
-
I'm going to make that connection right now.
-
Jesus is willing because he knew with leprosy, this isn't just
-
about curing you of a disease. This is a this affects your
-
relationship with God. This affects the purpose that I
-
have for you to worship me. You can't be in the synagogue.
-
You're unclean. You understand a lot of people,
-
they want to be healed but don't want to serve God.
-
And the Lord's like, well, I'm healing you to serve me.
-
I'm not healing you so you can go back in the world and
-
prostitute yourself. Come on now.
-
I say prostitute because it's true.
-
That's what idolatry is. It's called committing adultery
-
on God. Idolatry is putting something
-
before God. That's why he would look at the
-
nation and said you're an adulterous generation.
-
Not everybody in Israel was cheating on their spouses.
-
He was talking about they were worshipping other gods.
-
He sees that as adultery. So again, he's like, you want me
-
to heal you so you can go play the harlot.
-
I'm talking about the church now.
-
Now again, the loss. They're already playing the
-
harlot. They're already out there.
-
I mean, that's their daddy. That's the world they're in.
-
So it becomes an opportunity for him and say, I care about you.
-
I'll heal your body. And I'm not only hear your body,
-
I'll touch your mind. I'll change your soul.
-
I'll actually give you a brand new spirit and make you alive to
-
me again. Hallelujah.
-
So with that being said, you know, healing's awesome, but for
-
us as believers, it's about I want to be healed so I can be
-
doing the plan and purpose of God for my life.
-
No hindrances. All right, Look over to Matthew
-
Chapter 9, verse 27 to 30 it says, and Jesus went on from
-
there. Two blind men followed him,
-
crying out, have mercy on US, son of David.
-
And when he entered the house, the blind men came up to him,
-
and Jesus said, Do you believe that I'm able to do this?
-
And they said to him, Yes, Lord. Then he what?
-
Touch their eyes. How did he touch their eyes?
-
With his hands? He didn't touch their eyes with
-
his eyes. He didn't touch their eyes with
-
his nose or his elbow with his hands.
-
OK, Touch their eyes, say. It shall be done to you
-
according to your faith. So Jesus's faith alone wasn't
-
functioning. They had faith as well.
-
And when He touched them, it activated their faith.
-
His faith. Well, their faith was already
-
active. That active faith they had
-
activated the faith He had. They came together.
-
And when it came together, what's it say happened?
-
And their eyes were what? Open.
-
Then Jesus sternly warned them see to it that no one knows
-
about this and the reason why Jesus didn't want healings to
-
get out rampant is because it hindered him from being able to
-
be in certain places. The crowd started showing up so
-
much because they wanted to see a miracle that he it hindered
-
him from doing the very thing he wanted to do.
-
And that was preach on the Kingdom of God.
-
And he found itself that is fame, the Bible says, became so
-
spread so strong in the the more densely populated places.
-
He had to stay on the perimeter, had to stay on the perimeter.
-
So you, you, you think, well, if it's God's will to heal, why
-
doesn't he want anyone to know? Well, he doesn't want it to be
-
where the healing is idolized above the healer.
-
And if we don't watch out, that's what we'll do.
-
We'll start idolizing the healing over the healer.
-
OK. And Jesus didn't want that.
-
But did he want them healed? Yes.
-
Did they want to be healed? And when he touched them, what
-
happened? They were healed.
-
So he touched the leopard man, He was healed.
-
Touched the blind eyes, they were healed.
-
These are some pretty tough cases, people.
-
But what were they healed nonetheless, Luke chapter 4
-
verse 40 to 41 is Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and
-
forever in that what the word says in in Hebrews 13/8.
-
The Holy Ghost just reminded me, he said, he said Jesus is the
-
same yesterday, today. And so if Jesus said, if we're
-
having documented historical accounts of his actions while on
-
the planet yesterday in the past, well, guess what?
-
He'll do that today and guess what?
-
He'll do that tomorrow, period. Now, let me just say it this
-
way. Listen, man, when I first
-
started hearing about healing, it was kind of hard to grasp.
-
And again, why it is, is a hard to grasp because experience
-
makes things sometimes hard to grasp.
-
And again, I you've heard my testimony before that in that
-
every Thanksgiving and it's selfish, OK.
-
And it probably no wonder, But selfishly, I wanted to eat a lot
-
during Thanksgiving because I was a skinny guy that wanted to
-
get heavier. And this is like a bounty, lot
-
of food, lot of opportunities go back to the table.
-
It's my time to gain weight, right?
-
Get a little heavier. So, you know, but it was always
-
in November and in Florida, you know, this is when the seasons
-
are changing a little bit and people would get sick and we
-
call it flu season anyway, so it's flu season.
-
Seemed like I was really good at catching flu.
-
I probably didn't ever go anywhere with deer season.
-
Didn't anything do anything of that nature.
-
I don't know if I'd have been good in those seasons, but I was
-
really good during flu season. I can put down some flu and it
-
would always show up couple weeks before.
-
So now I have no appetite. So I look at the food and
-
wanting. It's horrible.
-
Yeah, and it's every year. Every year.
-
Shots matter. Not because if shots mattered,
-
why do you get one every year? I'm just saying they're always
-
out every year to get another flu shot.
-
I mean, they're, they're supposedly just to help you not
-
be so contagious when you get it to help fight against it.
-
Well, you know what didn't matter?
-
I got it every year. Then I went to Bible school and
-
then they're talking about healing.
-
I'm like, huh. But it wasn't just healing class
-
I was in. And then I got into a class
-
called the Believers Authority and I'm like, what?
-
Then I'm like, seriously, why have I put up with this only
-
'cause I didn't know. So I'm like, man, I got to
-
exercise this deal now, you know, the first one came around
-
and I had symptoms, but they didn't stay as long.
-
You know, there came a point where I had to say I'm not going
-
to let my experience with things determine what he says.
-
And again, you know, it's already a challenge.
-
Number one, just think, how do you even put in your mind that
-
you're going to hell without salvation?
-
And what he did worked. I mean, it's just difficult if
-
you try to naturally rationalize that, right?
-
But when you did it by faith, then all of a sudden you're
-
like, OK, this worked. I mean, nobody had that to
-
pivot. I had, I'm like, I'm different,
-
this worked. I pray I'm different.
-
This worked. So I'm like, well, if Jesus said
-
that now, I didn't know what else he said because all I was
-
taught was that's what he said. You know, you need to be born
-
again. That's all he apparently said.
-
That's all I knew he said, and that's all I thought he said.
-
But then I found out he said a whole lot.
-
And faith wasn't just for. Salvation, you get baptized in
-
the Holy Ghost, you could be healed, you could prosper.
-
You could, you could, I mean, all kinds of stuff.
-
You could deal with the demonic realm and put them at Bay.
-
I mean, it was like, wow, where's this been my whole life?
-
It's in the book. I just didn't read it.
-
So, you know, I'm now having to exercise that.
-
You know what? I refuse to allow my experience
-
or someone who's been a believer and lived a life as good as they
-
did, but yet they just chose never to step over in that I'm
-
just choosing to go ahead and stay with God.
-
And you know what, God, I have to prove that it's a lie.
-
But the good news is God not a man, that he shall lie.
-
So the point is, is that did I do it perfect?
-
No, I didn't. But each year I kept growing to
-
be stronger in it. And then I would say, what don't
-
I know now? I didn't have situations where I
-
there were other factors that had to be involved.
-
I didn't have anything in my body that would have required
-
the gifts of the Spirit to happen.
-
As I've told you, you know, in the hearing impaired community,
-
deaf community, not everyone that's deaf is deaf just because
-
they hadn't lost it. And we've had some people here
-
that had it and measles caused them to be hard to hear.
-
And in fact, we had a gentleman that used to attend here that he
-
could hear. He was legally deaf, but he
-
could hear and he could pick out a tone and he could learn that
-
tone with a person enough that he could call his brother on the
-
phone and talk to his brother on the phone 'cause he had trained
-
himself to get that tone. Well, he trained himself to hear
-
me, to hear my tone, that he didn't have to look at the
-
interpreter anymore. He could look at me and I was
-
like you staring at me all the time.
-
How, how? What's the problem?
-
Why can't why aren't you like watching the interpreter?
-
You know, you're bored with a servant.
-
He said no, I can hear you. I'm like, what the God heal you?
-
No, no, no. So then he had to explain, but
-
his would have been a healing. But again, as I've said, like
-
Pastor Priscilla, she has things missing.
-
They were never there. So that has to have a working of
-
miracles and I can't make that happen.
-
So she I don't feel bad, she doesn't feel bad and you
-
shouldn't feel bad. What we should do is like covet
-
the gifts. That's why I like, Lord, we
-
thank you that spiritual gifts are happening at Anchor Bay
-
Church. Spiritual gifts, you know, and
-
sometimes when God pulls on those spiritual gifts, it is in
-
such a way that it becomes such a calling card in a community.
-
And at the end of the day, when that happens, there's a lot you
-
have to deal with after that. And I've told our staff before,
-
I said, Are you ready for the gifts to function at such a
-
capacity that we get a influx of people that will not assimilate
-
to the word but only wants the miracles?
-
And it forces Anchor Faith Church to shut down in Saint
-
Augustine and have to go somewhere else.
-
Now you say, how's that possible?
-
Jesus would not do things in certain places.
-
Anymore because the community refused the word only wanted the
-
miraculous. So again, when we're like we
-
want miracles. Are you studied enough to know
-
that can be a byproduct? And are you all ready to sell
-
your property and go with me to the next town?
-
Because the rest of the community has decided we don't
-
want Jesus. We make a demand on miracles
-
only. And if you don't give us
-
miracles, we don't. God's not there.
-
Oh, God's in his word. God's in his word.
-
And God doesn't have to prove himself to you.
-
He is, he's, I am. Say Hallelujah.
-
So again, you have to know what you're facing and you have to
-
begin to say, you know, if, if a situation you're aware of, then
-
what do you do? You don't have to feel bad if
-
somebody's not healed that you know, has something that
-
requires the gifts, but be a part of the process of saying,
-
Lord, I thank you for spiritual gifts to be in operation because
-
you don't understand. I, I, I'm like anybody at the
-
end of the day, if a person has called on the name of the Lord
-
and is saved and they never manifest healing in their life,
-
that doesn't change their salvation.
-
But I would not want you to be so complacent that you ignore
-
it's possible or have a desire for it because you're not
-
willing to exercise a fruit called patience.
-
And I'm patient because I know it's his will and the gifts have
-
to happen. And you know what?
-
I'm going to believe they will. And whether that's a month from
-
now, three years from now, whatever that is that causes
-
this. I'll believe to my grave firmly
-
persuaded not well, it doesn't really matter because the minute
-
doesn't matter. Now you are in no position for
-
it ever to change and that doesn't mean it was God's will
-
because you changed your position.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying? OK, Luke chapter 4, verse 40 and
-
41. And while the sun was setting,
-
all those who had any who were sick with various diseases
-
brought them to him, and laying his hands on each one of them,
-
He was healing them right. Demons also were coming out of
-
many. So that means everyone sick
-
wasn't sick just by natural symptoms.
-
Some of their sickness came by spirits.
-
OK. And so they were coming out
-
shouting, You are the Son of God.
-
But he rebuked them again. I don't need you to advertise
-
for me. He would not allow them to speak
-
because they knew him to be Christ.
-
Hallelujah. Now the religious didn't know
-
the Christ was the Christ because they said well, you cast
-
out devils in the name of bells above right and but the demons
-
knew you got it wrong. Boys.
-
This is the Christ we going to testify but he won't let us.
-
OK, Luke chapter 6. But notice he's laying hands on
Luke 6 chapter mention
-
how many of them, each one of them, and what was happening.
-
Now I'm doing this because when you come down, this is what
-
we're doing. We're just doing the Word, OK.
-
Luke 617 and 19. Jesus came down with them and
-
stood on a level place, and there was a large crowd of his
-
disciples and a great throng of people from all Judea and
-
Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tara and this city who had
-
come to hear him and to be healed of all their diseases and
-
those who were troubled with unclean spirits.
-
Right here we go, we're being cured.
-
And all the people were trying to touch him, for power was
-
coming out of him and healing them all.
-
So again, he's touching powers, leaving.
-
They're being healed. They're trying to touch him
-
because they know who he's touching.
-
They're getting the power. All they got to do is touch him.
-
I mean, they're taking a playbook out of the woman with
-
the issue of blood. If I just touches him, I'm going
-
to be healed. I just need something that's
-
touching him to touch me. Because when he touches, change
-
happens. Hallelujah, change happens.
-
And for those who believe and want to be healed and have faith
-
in God to heal, then when they touch, when that touch happens,
-
healing power moves, period. And healing power is not a
-
feeling. I mean, this is the problem.
-
And I'm so convinced that if Jesus was here today, he
-
wouldn't let no cameras in the room.
-
He would post nothing on social media.
-
Why? Because we become creatures of
-
habit or what we think we see. So again, you get it.
-
You see one minister known for healing, they lay hands and they
-
wave their hand or whatever. People fall down and we're like,
-
oh, that's the Holy Ghost. So then you come down, they lay
-
hands and you don't feel that. And then you're like, well, I
-
didn't get it. No, you got it because we just
-
exercised the word. I laid hands on you.
-
You believed you were going to receive healing when hands were
-
laid on you. Whether we feel anything or not
-
doesn't matter because we just demonstrated the word by faith,
-
right? Because if you don't watch out,
-
one can fall. The next one doesn't have to.
-
And that doesn't mean someone had a better experience, but I'm
-
telling you, it's all over the place.
-
People are looking for signs that the Holy Spirit there
-
'cause he's don't see him, He's in his word.
-
He carries out that word. Whether you're going down or not
-
is not a greater anointing. Can we just say that, again, I'm
-
not against someone waving their hand and if power is really
-
hitting people, great, whatever. But man, if that power is
-
hitting, hopefully they're not staying in carnality when they
-
leave. Sometimes I like to follow
-
those. Sometimes I like to follow the
-
minister that's doing this. You see what they doing in the
-
backroom on Monday Because again, you can have an anointing
-
in the power of God, but still not be living right.
-
Again, that's not what's impressive.
-
I mean, the churches, if we don't watch out, we're like
-
chasing stuff when really we're here to receive the engrafted
-
word of God, which is able to save our soul and then carry a
-
culture out into our community because the greatest thing is
-
not run into a conference. The greatest thing has changed
-
in the community. That you live in.
-
I mean, what happened to church planting?
-
Why is it waned? Why do, why do believers not
-
have a passion to see other people's lives changed?
-
Because why? I've got Jesus now give me the
-
stuff that blesses me 'cause that way when I go to heaven, I
-
want to feel God. And they're like, there's a lot.
-
I mean, there's way more people dying and going to hell and
-
we're running around in conferences, shouting,
-
screaming, rolling on the floor. Yeah.
-
Hallelujah, Luke chapter 13. I'm going to have to get a speed
Luke 13 chapter mention
-
round through 13 and he was teaching in one of the
-
synagogue's on the Sabbath. There was a woman who for 18
-
years had had a sickness caused by the Spirit and she was bent
-
over double. We read this one last week.
-
Last time I was with you and could not straighten up at all.
-
When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, woman,
-
you are free from your sickness. And he laid his hands on her,
-
and immediately she was made erect again and began glorifying
-
God. So again, let me just go real
-
quick. Matthew 8, Matthew 9, Luke 4,
-
Luke 6, and Luke 13. That is 512345.
-
Let everything be confirmed by two or three.
-
Witness, I've given you 5 of He's touched laid hands and they
-
were healed. All right, let's do 6, Mark 6/4
-
through 6. Jesus said to them, a prophet is
-
not without honor, except in his hometown and among his own
-
relatives, in his own household. And he could do no miracle there
-
except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed
-
them, and he wondered at their unbelief.
-
And he was going around the villages teaching.
-
Now verse 6 lets us know that there was an unbelief issue.
-
And when unbelief is in the room, it can hinder, it hinders
-
God moving. And so the answer to unbelief is
-
teaching. So a lot of times when people
-
are saying in their churches, man, how come we're not seeing
-
the miracles? Well, you need some more
-
teaching apparently, because unbelief must be somewhere.
-
Now, I've never seen it this way, but I want us to look at
-
this again because I want us to ask this question.
-
Is this plausible? A prophet's not without honor,
-
except in his hometown, among his relatives, in his own
-
household. He could do know what miracle
-
now miracles come through the gifts.
-
But guess what he could do? Even though unbelief existed, he
-
could still lay hands on some sick people.
-
So healing the sick still manifested in an environment of
-
unbelief. Yeah, this is good.
-
Now, you know, 'cause many times we've gone through there, we're
-
like, you know, the reason miracles didn't come because
-
they're unbelief. And that's true of the miracles.
-
But unbelief did not stop healing.
-
Now, that doesn't mean it can't. I'm not saying because if you
-
know and don't believe, that's your problem.
-
I'm not saying that. I'm just saying unbelief is
-
always in play among the lost. So when you lay hands on a lost
-
person, guess what? They're not believing.
-
You're believing. Now, obviously Jesus laid hands
-
on people, but again, who was he primarily dealing with?
-
Those that were in covenant? And they did have faith because
-
faith is a firm persuasion. It's not even religious anyway.
-
You can be in faith whether you're in the Kingdom or out of
-
the Kingdom. Firm persuasion exists, I'm just
-
saying unbelief in and of itself did not stop the laying on of
-
hands to still heal some people. Because I would hate to think
-
that in church everyone had to be hooked up believing before we
-
have people come down. Because if that happened, no one
-
would. Ever be healed?
-
Because there's always going to be a room of unbelief.
-
But what he is saying is if people would have recognized,
-
first of all recognize this, y'all ready for this one?
-
Recognize the ministry gift. I mean, so again brother Earl,
-
enjoy brother Earl. I'm a brother just like you.
-
I'm righteous like you. We can be righteous but there
-
are things that flow with the gift of the prophet.
-
I'm not one. But in this case it like they
-
just saw him as brother Jesus and there are graces afforded to
-
the prophet to work miracles and because they had no faith in his
-
gifting then the grace to move in that gifting to distribute
-
miracles did not happen. And every time a St. wants to
-
get sideways and out of scriptural alignment with in in
-
first Corinthians Chapter 9 and say you know, you know, you put
1 Corinthians 9 chapter mention
-
your pants on just like me, you're that's irrelevant.
-
Pastor, prophet, teacher, evangelist, apostle are gifts,
-
and if you do not recognize them and honor those giftings, you
-
lose out on the graces associated with those giftings.
-
And the majority of the Western church accepts the pastoral one
-
and the teaching one, but the ones that had more miracles were
-
the other 3. And maybe we're just asking the
-
question, answering the question now, why don't we see more
-
miracles? Well, because we don't honor the
-
apostle, we don't honor the prophet, and we don't even want
-
the advantages to be in the church.
-
They're supposed to be out because when evangelist comes,
-
we, we don't, we don't recognize their gift.
-
We're like, oh, they're not for me.
-
They're for the loss that's here tonight.
-
So you don't honor the gift for you, but yet the gift is for you
-
because an evangelist equips the Saints for the work of ministry.
-
Oh, I'm preaching way better than you're shouting, but that's
-
OK. Hallelujah.
-
Let me say this. Let me say this.
-
In 22 years of Anchor Faith Church, I believe right now I
-
have the greatest environment to preach in at Anchor Faith
-
Church. Now I do I I don't believe I've
-
had an atmosphere this easy to preach in in 22 years.
-
That says something about the majority of your hunger.
-
It's saying something about unity in the body right now.
-
It's saying us something about being submitted and committed to
-
the vision in your part to play right now.
-
I mean, it's like easy, very little resistant.
-
I'm gonna preach on money this summer so, you know, get it
-
together. Yeah, I have Dominion Air coming
-
out and I want to preach before it comes so that when we release
-
it, I have preached it. And so I'm going to start it
-
here super soon, all right? So don't lock up and, you know,
-
leave your wallets at home, right?
-
I mean, I'm not coming for your money anyway.
-
I'm trying to get you to function in Dominion, but I'm
-
not afraid to talk about your bank account.
-
You better help me better than that right now.
-
Say Amen. All right, All right, it's a
-
great environment, don't make it a bad one.
-
And I'm feisty. If it gets crazy, I'm going to
-
Hallelujah. So they laid hands and they were
-
healed, right? OK Acts 9/17/18 Just so you
-
know, Jesus not the only one who does this.
-
So Ananias departed and entered the house and after laying his
-
hands on him, said Brother Saul, this is Saul of Tarsus who just
-
had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus.
-
And he's blonde and he's been fasting for three days because
-
he has had an encounter with Jesus Christ himself that has
-
left him without sight. And Ananias has obviously talked
-
to the Lord about this encounter he's about to have with this man
-
because he's like, this is a bad dude and he's he has papers.
-
I can get thrown in jail the minute I reveal that I follow
-
you. And he says, what, you going to
-
go talk to him anyway because he's with me now.
-
And that was obviously a shocking statement, right?
-
And so he believed Jesus had his word and he said, OK, I'm going
-
to go see Saul. Nice.
-
And so he walks in the room, right?
-
And so he says, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road
-
which you were coming, sent me, so that you may regain your
-
sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
-
And immediately. And what there fell from his
-
eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight and he got
-
up and was baptized. Glory to God and he started his
-
journey that would author over half of the New Testament we
-
read today. Glory to God and Ananias.
-
Not Peter, not John, not James, not Matthew, not the apostles of
-
the Lamb, but Ananias, a man of God in the body went, laid hands
-
on him, and he regained his sight.
-
Glory to God, I say, glory to God.
-
Acts chapter 19 Well did Paul learn something from that.
Acts 19 chapter mention
-
Acts chapter 1911 to 12 God was performing extraordinary
-
miracles by the what? By the hands of Paul?
-
By who? And what was he using his hands
-
so that handkerchiefs and aprons were even carried from his body
-
to the sick, and the disease left them in evil spirits came
-
out. Can I just say this?
-
Paul said I pray in tongues more than you all.
-
I wonder if he kept himself charged, so full of the Holy
-
Ghost that it just saturated things that came from him.
-
And he said I pray in tongues more than you all.
-
I want to heal. And why don't you just pray in
-
tongues more than you all like Paul and let's see what happens.
-
But we want stuff without exercising our effort's a good
-
word. Most people don't like it
-
because it sounds like it's self earned.
-
It's not self earned. It's exercising something God is
-
giving you by faith. And Paul exercised his language.
-
I'm not telling you that's a correlation.
-
I'm just saying he prayed in tongues more than you all and
-
extraordinary miracles came in his hands that even aprons and
-
handkerchiefs that left him healed the sick and cast out
-
devils. Acts chapter 28, verse 7 and 9.
-
And again, I'm not asking you to pray in tongue so you can come
-
and get up here and service. I'm saying pray in tongues so
-
you can go to work. Go to work, right, Dustin?
-
Go to work, be at a client's house, lay in their floor.
-
And you notice they come and they looking rough and you're
-
like, you look rough today. Excuse me, Can I say that?
-
And they're like, yeah, I'm not feeling too good.
-
You know what? I'm putting your floor.
-
Can I lay hands on you? Right?
-
Then you lay hands on them and next thing you know, they're
-
feeling great. They're like, wow, Dustin, I'm
-
healed. And you're like, praise the
-
Lord, he is the healer. And you just keep doing the
-
floor. And the next thing you know, you
-
may get 5 other houses because they tell everybody this guy
-
that did my floor laid hands on me and was healed.
-
I want that guy to lay on, lay my floor, right?
-
And then you may be laying floor and people walking on the floor
-
you're laying and they get healed.
-
The guy didn't even touch me, just installed my floor and and
-
it healed my arthritis, right? Wouldn't that be crazy?
-
But hey, crazier things can happen.
-
Whatever. It's for all of us, but it comes
-
through our hands because it's his hands through our hands.
-
All right? Acts 28, seven.
-
I think we're on #10 now, maybe through 9 now in the
-
neighborhood at that place where lands belonging to the leading
-
man of the island name Pubulus who?
-
What's wrong with y'all? You all right?
-
I'll pray for them down here in the front.
-
OK, Mr. P, since you're struggling.
-
OK. Who welcomed us and entertained
-
us for three days. Now, this is after Paul just got
-
off a shipwreck, people, OK? And he had a snake bite him.
-
You know, when he gets to land and they're like, this dude's
-
about to die. He was a murderer.
-
The sea let him out, you know? But he's been judged.
-
We don't watch this guy die. This is great.
-
And then 10 minutes, an hour, whatever went by, and they're
-
like, this dude is still alive. This is crazy.
-
He must be a God. So they shifted their thinking.
-
He's condemned murderer, and then now he's a God, right?
-
Sounds like humans, right? You're knowing it one day, and
-
then you're the devil. It's OK.
-
It happens. And what?
-
Jesus happened with you, Right? OK.
-
And it happened that the father of Mr. P was lying in bed
-
afflicted with a recurrent fever.
-
All right? I mean, this guy's got some
-
problems. And what's this word?
-
Medical people. Thank you.
-
What is that? Diarrhea?
-
Thank you. I thought that's what it was.
-
I just wanted confirmation from somebody else's mouth.
-
All right, So that's not good because, you know, there wasn't
-
plumbing back now back then. OK.
-
And Paul, just so you understand the environment and no air
-
conditions either, so you understand what he's walking
-
into. OK.
-
And Paul went to see him and after he had prayed, he what?
-
Laid his hands on him and healed him.
-
After this had happened, the rest of people on the island who
-
had disease were coming to him and getting how do you think
-
they were getting cured? So Paul was laying hands on
-
them. Hallelujah.
-
All right, so last verse here it is Mark chapter 16, verse 17 to
-
20. Powerful verses here and these.
-
These what come on, what are they?
-
And these signs will will maybe could be on occasions all right.
-
And these signs will accompany those who those who is that
-
apostles only? Is that profits only?
-
Is that pastors only? Is that teachers only?
-
Is that evangelist only? Is that graduates from faith
-
Christian University only? It's those who believe.
-
Are you a believer? Do you qualify then?
-
OK, he said. In my name they will drive out
-
demons, they will speak in new tongues, they will pick up
-
snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it
-
will not harm them. They will.
-
Who will, Who will? Those who believe?
-
Who will, who will? Those who believe will lay hands
-
on the sick, and they will be made well.
-
And the Lord Jesus had spoken to them.
-
He said after the Lord he got spoken to, he was taken up into
-
heaven, sat down at the right hand of God, and they went, who
-
went those who believe and who went?
-
Those who? Believe.
-
Are you a believer? OK, And those who believe went
-
and preached, are you preaching? Are you testifying of the
-
goodness of God at your work, at school, in the library, at every
-
coffee shop you're buying coffee at?
-
Are you somewhere testify 'cause those places are breeding
-
grounds for those who believe to see signs.
-
All right. And the Lord worked through who
-
those who believe. We got it finally.
-
And the Lord worked through those who believe, confirming
-
his word by the size that accompanied it.
-
So again, when you're testifying of the King's health care
-
system, oh, you know, in my nation, everybody's healed.
-
Come on. Amen.
-
I mean, started out that way. Oh, you're not feeling well.
-
OK. You know the nation I'm from.
-
Everybody's healed. What?
-
Yep, we got the greatest health care ever.
-
They're like, where you from? It's the World Cup.
-
What nation are you from? Mine's not even in the world.
-
I mean, it's in the world, but it's not of it.
-
It's actually a global nation. It's called the Kingdom of God.
-
And at the name of Jesus, if I lay hands on you, you'll be
-
healed. Hallelujah because you have to
-
believe signs accompany me because I represent him when I
-
touch it's it. It's as if he touched because I
-
invoked his name. Power of attorney.
-
I just had someone recently who came to me who's in the legal
-
side and it's the first time they heard this concept of power
-
of attorney and they were like, wow, you they were blown away.
-
I did not realize we had I know what power of attorney is.
-
I ride them all the time. And then the one that I read
-
concerning my mom, they're like, wow, she I actually like yours
-
better than the ones I write. You know, I said, well, ours are
-
pretty good. You know that my attorney does,
-
but they getting it because again, it's not yours.
-
It's theirs that they've given you to function it.
-
OK, so. Through just the scripture.
-
Reading today, there's enough in it for you to have health
-
because if you've given attention like Pastor Mike
-
inspired you last week to what I just said this week, then
-
everyone can leave healed.
