  1. You've tuned into a mega church. We are people hungry to

  2. encounter God through worship and His Word being witnesses to

  3. the world around us. We pray this teaching blesses

  4. you and trust God will reveal Himself to you in a new way

  5. today. And if you need prayer for

  6. healing or breakthrough? Want to find out more about

  7. Omega? Get to our website or Facebook

  8. page through the links below. How many of you are excited

  9. about this passage? Yeah, so there is a temptation

  10. for every preacher to skip some passages, and this is one of

  11. those. But I said no, I am not going to

  12. skip. Do you expect anybody God will

  13. speak to when they read Nehemiah chapter 3 and they will go into

    Nehemiah 3 chapter mention

  14. action and do something? Do you believe it?

  15. Can God speak from Nehemiah chapter 3?

    Nehemiah 3 chapter mention

  16. Yeah, there was a man who read Nehemiah chapter 3 and after the

    Nehemiah 3 chapter mention

  17. war devastated Bangladesh, he went to Bangladesh to build

  18. 10,000 houses. Why when he read Nehemiah

    Nehemiah 3 chapter mention

  19. chapter 3, he said there is no mention of architect, there is

  20. no mention of the quantity surveyor, there is no mention of

  21. civil engineers, there is no mention of any kind of a

  22. technically highly technical people mentioning there doing

  23. the work. It is the ordinary people doing

  24. an extraordinary work. And he said if they can do, I

  25. can do. And he went to Bangladesh and

  26. built 10000 houses who have lost their houses in the war.

  27. So God can speak, God can speak from Nehemiah chapter 3.

    Nehemiah 3 chapter mention

  28. I believe it. If you believe it, shout

  29. Hallelujah, Amen. So now first thing that you see

  30. here in verse one is Elia ship, the high priest and his fellow

  31. priest went to work and rebuild the sheep gate.

  32. We need to look at the map. I need the clicker.

  33. Also, I forgot to mention I need a clicker.

  34. Is the map there? It is on the DRY.

  35. Somebody please help when when it is ready, we can use it.

  36. Yeah, that is the one that is the one as getting ready we will

  37. we will keep focusing on the thing.

  38. So the last week we talked about, I answered them by saying

  39. the God of heaven will give us success.

  40. We his servants will start rebuilding.

  41. But As for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim

  42. or historic right to it. Now, this is very important.

  43. I feel when you particularly, I mean you're talking about

  44. leaders in a church and the pastor, when they are convinced

  45. about a vision, they are convinced about something God

  46. wants them to do. They need to know their enemies

  47. and tell them you have no part in this.

  48. You have no share in this work because you don't share the same

  49. vision. You don't have the same burden.

  50. So Nehemiah made a declaration and told them, As for you, you

  51. have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to

  52. it, even historic right. Don't even look at this place.

  53. This is not yours. This very strong words of

  54. Nehemiah, and I admire the man because he knows what he's

  55. speaking. This is how it should be.

  56. So what is happening here is Eliashib is a high priest and

  57. his fellow priest they went to work and rebuilt and set it

  58. doors in place, building as far as a tower of 100 which they

  59. dedicated and as far as the tower of Hannel.

  60. So who is this? Eliashib is a high priest.

  61. He's very clear. And priest.

  62. OK. Now where do you know where

  63. Nehemiah started inspecting the walls in the night in chapter 2?

  64. He went to the valley. Valley Gate.

  65. Is that? Oh, yeah.

  66. Valley gate just fading out. Can we have the clicker, please?

  67. The valley gate? Yeah, that green one, you can

  68. see the gate, There's an opening there.

  69. There's a valley gate. So from there he started, went

  70. down South and went up. And when he came to beyond a

  71. fountain gate, when he came beyond fountain gate here, this

  72. gate, he found that the rubble was too much and he couldn't go.

  73. So he had to almost go off the road and go up like this and

  74. then come back the same way and went back to the valley gate

  75. here. But now when the construction

  76. has begun, it started in that gate here.

  77. What that gate here, ship gate. Now if you look at the Jerusalem

  78. map here is very important. When you see the whole of the

  79. Jerusalem map, it's about 90 acres of land, 90 acres.

  80. But you see here the big chunk of land here.

  81. You've got a temple here, and you've got the Temple Mount

  82. here, or right now you've got that Dome of the Rock that is

  83. somewhere here. So from my looking at this map,

  84. I understood that they are two separate things.

  85. But some people think that Under the Dome of the Rock is the

  86. temple. Archaeologists, you know, they

  87. say many things, but some people say no, no, they are two

  88. separate things. You got temple separate and this

  89. is separate place which is high, high up a place.

  90. So this area is about 36 acres. That is roughly 40% of the

  91. Nehemiah's time. Jerusalem was allotted for the

  92. Temple and the Temple Mount and then you got the priest houses

  93. here and you got. So what is happening here is

  94. they rebuild a sheep gate because she this is called sheep

  95. gate because sheep used to be brought in to offer sacrifice

  96. into the temple. Remember one thing about

  97. Jerusalem is it represents every family.

  98. Say it please. It represents every family.

  99. It represents every local church.

  100. Let's say it Jerusalem represents every local church.

  101. Now this has so many gates. You've got here starting here,

  102. Sheep Gate, and then you've got Fish Gate.

  103. You've got Old Jasana Gate and then you have got Valley Gate.

  104. And then you come down here, you've got this Dung Gate or

  105. yeah, Dung Gate. And then you've got the Fountain

  106. Gate here. And then you have the Watergate

  107. here, and then you have First Gate, East Gate, inspection,

  108. master gate, all these gates. So every family, somehow you,

  109. there are some spiritual truths behind these gates that we can

  110. apply to a family and we can apply to a local church.

  111. We will look into it very shortly.

  112. But then the work began. It began with the sheep gate.

  113. And because he's a priest, high priest, he's concerned about the

  114. temple and he starts rebuilding this place here closer to the

  115. one that is connected with his daily activities.

  116. So you've got the high priest and the priest coming together

  117. and building this, rebuilding this gate, sheep gate, and sheep

  118. gate, remember, it represents sacrifice.

  119. What do they represent? Sacrifice.

  120. And that represents who? Our our Lord Jesus Christ.

  121. So without the sacrifice of Christ, everything crumbles and

  122. he begins. The work begins here, goes

  123. around and comes back here, and it begins with Jesus and goes

  124. around, ends with Jesus. He's the Alpha and Omega,

  125. beginning and the end. And that is how it is.

  126. And we should be so focused on Jesus.

  127. The work of the family and the work of the church must be

  128. centered on Christ. And when it is centered on

  129. Christ, that family will be blessed, that church will be

  130. blessed and we will make an impact on the on the society.

  131. And interestingly, what Neymar has done, he went in the night

  132. from the valley gate, went around and he could not even

  133. keep going using the mule or the donkey that he had.

  134. He had to leave it here and he had to walk, then go inspect and

  135. come back. And now when he decides, he

  136. decides to do from here. Why in every time a foreign army

  137. invaded Jerusalem, they mostly have innovative from the north.

  138. The walls are totally battered that side.

  139. And if you want to have security, because this side is

  140. valley and this side is valley, so that is not so vulnerable to

  141. attack, but this side is very vulnerable.

  142. So Nehemiah was very, very strategic.

  143. He knew where is the most important work to be done and

  144. where to begin. And this is the quality of a

  145. leader. They will have a strategy, they

  146. will have a strategy. And he had a strategy and then

  147. he has implemented it and he talked about it and he inspired

  148. people saying let us rebuild. And they were inspired.

  149. They said let us rebuild. And then it also means he has to

  150. make sure that there's enough of the material required for

  151. rebuilding wood stone, everything is required, has to

  152. be done. And usually the stone is not

  153. somewhere around here. It has to be somewhere out.

  154. It has to be so from outside. Wherever there's a hill, they

  155. have to cut the stone and transport it.

  156. And from the forest that is close by, you have a forest

  157. close by where ASA was in charge.

  158. He has to give the wood and he, they had to transport the wood

  159. to this Jerusalem area to rebuild it.

  160. So, so much of planning has to go behind this.

  161. And he cannot simply say, let's rebuild and then where is the

  162. wood? Where is the stone?

  163. People will ask. So he has to make sure the

  164. material, material is available. That's number 1/2.

  165. Even though the stones have been burned down and the walls have

  166. been broken down, there will be some stones reusable.

  167. So they have to use what's available and then they have to

  168. take what is more needed. So it is not totally starting

  169. from scratch. But then to reuse what is

  170. available is also a skill and they have to do it and they have

  171. done it. Now, the next thing that you see

  172. here is you see, there's a red line all around.

  173. You see from here, there's a red line going down with the numbers

  174. all progressively, and it ends with beginning with one.

  175. It comes to 41. So what Nehemiah did was he

  176. divided the entire wall into 41 sections, and he gave it to

  177. different people to rebuild it. What does this mean?

  178. His church, One man's work, No #2 You see here is there are no

  179. specialists here. There are no specialists here.

  180. Is a high priest equipped to do building?

  181. Is a perfume maker equipped to do building or is a Goldsmith

  182. equipped to do building? What are the things that what I

  183. try to say here is the qualities that you have, your job, your

  184. calling, your training is transferable.

  185. Everybody say transferable, your skills are transferable.

  186. They are useful to the church building.

  187. Whatever you are, whoever you are, God wants to use you for

  188. his church and that's a great news.

  189. That's a great news. When we wanted to, when we start

  190. off starting the church, I told the Lord, I am not the guy you

  191. are looking for, are you? I'm not really the right kind of

  192. a guy. You're looking at the wrong guy

  193. and telling me start the church and it is not ability does not

  194. come from my sufficiency. It comes from his sufficiency.

  195. If he calls, he has to equip. I'm not really great with the

  196. human relationships and things like that.

  197. I know my limitations, but at the same time God gave me

  198. something which I can use for building the church.

  199. So that's how it is. We, whoever we are, our

  200. qualities, our abilities, our education, our mindset is

  201. transferable. It can be brought to the church

  202. and put to use for the glory of His name.

  203. So is there anybody who can say here, I am not required for the

  204. church? You can't say it.

  205. Everybody is needed. Everybody is needed for building

  206. of the church. That is the thing.

  207. So here we have this guy Ilya Shiv, high priest.

  208. When you see later on in chapter 13, this man who was having zeal

  209. for the House of God, the one who is committed to re establish

  210. the temple services, one who was wanting to see the walls rebuilt

  211. and safety brought into the city.

  212. He allowed his daughter was three parts he he allowed his

  213. son to marry Tobias daughter or granddaughter.

  214. Now what am I talking about here?

  215. This guy has an alliance with the enemy an alliance with the

  216. enemy and then after 12 years of Nehemiah staying in Jerusalem

  217. and he goes back to visit the king for a short period of time.

  218. This man area shape gave a room from the temple.

  219. In this temple he allotted a room for Tobiah.

  220. So Tobiah came shifted his residence into the temple and he

  221. was living there. And when when Nehemiah returned

  222. he heard about Tobiah. First thing he does is goes to

  223. the temple, throws out everything that binash to Tobiah

  224. is bed his utensils everything is throwing out so out from

  225. here. And then he ordered that that

  226. that place be sanctified, made holy so many times.

  227. We can begin well, but not end well.

  228. Ilyashi began well, but he did not end well.

  229. He colluded, or he consented to work with the enemy.

  230. He brought the enemy inside the church, inside the temple.

  231. So we need to be very careful with people.

  232. Even though everybody is good, we must keep an eye on the

  233. people when they are turning bad.

  234. Because Elia Ship is being a high priest, Being a high

  235. priest, you don't expect a high priest to say it is all right,

  236. That temple is for God to, for people to come and worship God,

  237. to offer sacrifice, not for coming and put a bed there and

  238. sleep. What does it remind you?

  239. When Jesus went to the temple, he found him doing business and

  240. money changes. He turned the money changes.

  241. He set the birds free, the dows that are supposed to be

  242. sacrificed, the sheep that are there to be bought and sold and

  243. to be sacrificed. He set them free.

  244. Saying this, my house is called House of prayer, is not a

  245. business place, is not a business place.

  246. So Nehemiah was acting like Jesus in cleansing the house,

  247. the temple. OK, let's look.

  248. Go forward. Yeah.

  249. Then they came to, they went down building as a tower of 100,

  250. which is the dedicated. This is another word.

  251. The dedicated word is used only for this part, the ship gate.

  252. Many other gates were established, repaired.

  253. But the word dedicated is not used.

  254. Why? This has a special refresh to

  255. the temple here. It has to be holy.

  256. It has to be declared holy, made holy, set apart for a particular

  257. purpose of worshipping God. So it needs to be dedicated, it

  258. needs to be sanctified. Probably they must have

  259. sacrificed an animal and the blood must have taken and that

  260. blood they must have mixed with water or something and sprinkled

  261. on the gate saying this gate is dedicated now declared holy for

  262. the purpose of worshipping God, so people can come in and

  263. worship. God is dedicated.

  264. So we need to dedicate ourselves.

  265. And I tell you it is the responsibility of the man of the

  266. house to dedicate the house, to dedicate the children.

  267. When the children are born, you dedicate the children.

  268. Why? The day you dedicate it, you're

  269. saying God, this child belongs to you have given it, but I give

  270. back this child to you. Let I am going to take care of

  271. the child, that the child will grow up and bring glory to your

  272. name. And when you say it, the Lord

  273. releases an extra Angel to protect the child.

  274. There's always an Angel with every child.

  275. But when you dedicate, God says, OK, because you honor me, I'll

  276. honor you. I'll send one more Angel to

  277. protect your child. Anybody excited to hear that?

  278. Amen. Let's shout Amen.

  279. OK. The men of Jericho build the

  280. adjoining section and Zakur son of Imbri Builder next to them.

  281. Now this word next. If you see so many times the

  282. word next comes in this whole chapter.

  283. That may look like a simple word next.

  284. But sometimes when you particularly see some particular

  285. guys in verse 4, you see the word Merrymouth son of Oriya,

  286. the son of Hakos repair the next section.

  287. But again when you see in the I think 28 verse 28, you will see

  288. again the name above the horse gate.

  289. The priest made repairs each in front of his own house.

  290. Next to them ZX son of Imam made repairs opposite to his house.

  291. Next to him Shema Sanam. Where is that thing?

  292. Merrimoth? Sorry, here is it in verse 21.

  293. Next to him, Merrimoth, son of Urea, son of Hakos, repair

  294. another section. Why is the man's name mentioned?

  295. 2 times? Most of the time we think they

  296. gave me one job. I am going to do only that job,

  297. nothing more. OK.

  298. They asked me to put chairs. I put chairs.

  299. They asked me to stand at the door.

  300. I stand at the door. They asked me to make the

  301. morning tea. I make the morning tea.

  302. Good. But these people have done more

  303. than what they were asked to do. Everybody say more than What

  304. does it mean? What does more than mean?

  305. It is as he was explaining, as over I was explaining, giving

  306. all to God. What does it mean?

  307. You don't hold back. You have no rights.

  308. You are completely sold out of the purpose of God for the

  309. Kingdom of God and you will do more than what is asked of you

  310. next section. Even though you have done what

  311. is allotted to you, you take a one more and do that as well and

  312. take one more and do that as well.

  313. You see the priests have done at three different places.

  314. They rebuild the wall. They could have said, OK, we

  315. have done this part sheep gate, that's all important coming to

  316. the temple, nothing more. No, they took up some parts

  317. here, some parts here and they did two other places.

  318. Priests rebuild the wall again. They did more than they were

  319. asked to do. And you know when you when you

  320. think of the more than you are reminded of the words of Jesus.

  321. What did Jesus say? If somebody greets you and you

  322. greet them back, what have you done?

  323. More. If you are going to help

  324. somebody because you're going to get back, what are you doing

  325. more? I tell you, to follow Jesus is a

  326. very hard job. Not easy one because we are

  327. called to do more than we are supposed to do, more than we are

  328. supposed to do. We need to love our enemies and

  329. that is doing more than if you love your friend.

  330. What is the problem? You go to play tennis once a

  331. week with him. You are meeting you at some

  332. other social event. You are going bowling.

  333. We are bowling with him and it is mutual because he needs you.

  334. He, you need him. So you spend time with him.

  335. Nothing great. What about that guy who looks at

  336. you and curses you? And another day you find him in

  337. the market and go to him? Hey, how are you today?

  338. That is doing more than so we need to do more than what we are

  339. supposed to do and that is the way we have to study this

  340. chapter 3 is God speaking now? Is he speaking now?

  341. Can I hear a Amen? Yes, that's what we are supposed

  342. to do more than. And then you see here that next

  343. one as a fish gate was 3. Fish gate was rebuilt by the

  344. sons of Hassena. They laid his beams and put his

  345. doors and bolts and bars in place.

  346. Merima Sanaburaya son of Hakos repaired the next section.

  347. Next to him Meshullah Sanab Berekaya son of Meshes Abel made

  348. repairs and next to him ZX Sanab Bana also made repairs.

  349. The next section was repaired by the men of Tekoa, but their

  350. neighbors would not put their shoulders to the work under

  351. their supervisors. Now you must be wondering, what

  352. is this? Takeover?

  353. Let's look at Takeover. Can I have the next one?

  354. Yeah, please. Thank you.

  355. See here the Takeover men of Takeover.

  356. If you remember the Old Testament, there's a guy.

  357. There was a lady from Takeover who was a wise woman who was

  358. brought to King David to tell a story.

  359. She was from Takeover. And these people were very, very

  360. intelligent, supposed to be intelligent people.

  361. The nobles refused to be partaking in the rebuilding of

  362. the temple. The leaders are saying no, we

  363. are not part of it, it's nothing to do with us.

  364. But the people of Takeover, they said no, we have to do this.

  365. Do we have to appreciate them? Should we appreciate them or

  366. not? We had to appreciate the people

  367. of takeover. Even though the leaders are not

  368. part of it, they don't want to put their shoulder to it.

  369. They said we are leaders. We are not going to put our

  370. shoulders. We are not going to work in the

  371. Kingdom of God. There's no menial work in the

  372. Kingdom of God. There are no menial work.

  373. Every work is holy. Every work is holy, you know,

  374. even those people who are trying to clean up in the temple of

  375. God, when there is a bronze altar on which you sacrifice the

  376. whole animal and burn it and there will be ashes and the

  377. people who clear the ashes go down from there.

  378. Can we go back one step, please? Yes.

  379. Now you offer sacrifice in the temple.

  380. Those ashes you are taking and you're going down to dump in the

  381. Dunk Gate here outside when he know and when they come back,

  382. they had to wash their clothes and take a bath because clearing

  383. the ashes is a holy work. Everybody say holy work is holy.

  384. There are no menial jobs in the Kingdom of God, in the in the

  385. temple of God. So they have to carry the ashes

  386. all the way from there down here, dump it here, and then go

  387. back, shower and change their clothes and then they are OK to

  388. be accepted. I'm telling you, when you

  389. understand the word of God that blows your mind and makes

  390. demands on you which you feel sometimes is too difficult, but

  391. by the power of the Holy Ghost we can live that life for the

  392. glory of His name. Hallelujah.

  393. Now the fish gate. What does fish stand for?

  394. Most probably the people who are catching fish in the

  395. Mediterranean Sea. They'll bring through the fish

  396. gate and bring in here and do business pretty close to the

  397. temple. But for us, fish stand for what?

  398. Souls to be saved. So evangelism is part of the

  399. House of God. Evangelism should be part of the

  400. family. The 1st place your children

  401. should hear the gospel is in your home, not in the Sunday

  402. school. 1st place they should hear the gospel is in your home.

  403. When I, I was just as I was preparing, I was thinking about

  404. what did I do in my family? Did I do something for my kids?

  405. I remembered that John was six years old when he gave his life

  406. to the Lord. Not because I told him, John,

  407. come here, you have to do this. No, no, no.

  408. I was just standing and preaching in a camp for the

  409. students, medical students. And he was very young.

  410. And he would he would go around, you know, make sound like a

  411. scooter. And he'll come back and sit,

  412. stand there and listen to me as I'm teaching.

  413. Then he'll go back again and then come back, stand there and

  414. listen to me for a while. And then something happened in

  415. that boy who was only 6 years old.

  416. And he said, I need this Jesus. And he didn't even tell us on

  417. the Sunday. Somebody encouraged him.

  418. He goes to the front, he picks up the mic and he says, I

  419. received tears into my heart last week.

  420. And that was the news to us. And same thing with Joseph.

  421. He was hardly six years old. One of the nights in the bed I

  422. was putting to bed, putting him to bed, I said, do you want to

  423. ask Jesus to come into your heart?

  424. He said, yeah, OK, say it. I let him into the prayer.

  425. That is what we need to have in our houses.

  426. We need to have that fish gear should be operating in the

  427. family before it operates in the temple of God.

  428. Ah, it is rising from inside of Maine because many people think

  429. it is not their job. But I say, if you're a child of

  430. God, that is your job, full stop, period.

  431. Don't want to say any more about it, but that's very important.

  432. And the men of takeover, when I said men of takeover again, next

  433. map, we'll have to go. Yeah.

  434. So now this is Beth, Jerusalem to Bethlehem, maybe 5-6 or eight

  435. miles of eight kilometers from there to another 8 kilometers.

  436. This is outside Jerusalem. You see all these people are

  437. mentioning here, Hazer, Bethel, Jericho, Bethlehem, Takeover,

  438. Bezoor, Kila, Adullam, Zora, Gazer, all these are places

  439. mentioned. There are the people have come

  440. from outside Jerusalem to build the walls of Jerusalem.

  441. What can they say easily? What does it benefit me?

  442. Why should I do it? Why should I do it?

  443. It's none of my business, Jerusalem.

  444. I'm living outside Jerusalem. It doesn't have anything to do

  445. with me, but I tell you, the House of God needs people from

  446. outside, from inside everywhere. We need everyone for building

  447. the Kingdom of God. Running out of time.

  448. Cool. And then you have OK, I'll

  449. summarize it. That is the easy way to do

  450. things. Everybody say everyone has a

  451. role. Second thing is unity in

  452. diversity. We have got all these people,

  453. Goldsmith, you got these people perfume makers, and you got

  454. this, all kinds of professions, but they all are united in heart

  455. to build the walls of Jerusalem. What do we need?

  456. This morning I read from Psalm 133 how beautiful it is when

  457. brothers live in unity. That is what we need in the

  458. church. That's what we need in the

  459. family. We need unity.

  460. Next thing is some of the times, not that one, please, some of

  461. the times. Nehemiah allotted a wall to be

  462. rebuilt to a family living close to it.

  463. Ah, you are living here. That's your house.

  464. Take care of that wall there. Oh, you are living there.

  465. Take care of the wall there. You are living here.

  466. Take care of the wall there. You need to work near where you

  467. are. Where you are there is the place

  468. of work and evangelism. You do in your house, you do in

  469. your workplace, you do everywhere.

  470. In fact, I was warned, I was warned at the workplace by one

  471. guy. I was trying to talk to him two

  472. times and third time he told me, Ramana, I don't want to talk

  473. about this. So I had to leave him alone.

  474. So you need to be intentional. Probably I made a mistake.

  475. I should have said, come home for a meal.

  476. I'll give you some Dal and rice, you know, And then he would have

  477. listened to what I wanted to say.

  478. The way to the heart is through the mouth, through the stomach.

  479. Remember that if somebody resists you, invite him for a

  480. meal and you will again hammer that same gospel with the

  481. stronger hammer. Way to the heart is to the

  482. stomach. So use it.

  483. Use it. Give that beans and toasted

  484. bread and the beans, put some butter on it and hammer that

  485. gospel into their heart. I tell you, that's the way to

  486. live intentionally. We have to live for God.

  487. OK, next is just do it. Let others see you and follow.

  488. Just do it it others do. Others see and follow.

  489. And so many times people will see you and then follow you.

  490. Why? Because when you're working at

  491. that particular job, when you're intentionally doing something,

  492. they catch. That is the spirit in you making

  493. you do it. And when they don't respond to

  494. it, they'll be judged by your passion.

  495. They'll be judged by your commitment.

  496. When Noah was building the building the ark for more than

  497. 100 years, they must be he must be taking that hammer, driving

  498. the nail through it. And somebody passing, they will

  499. laugh at what are you doing? I'm building the ark.

  500. Why are you building the ark? Rain is coming.

  501. We have never seen rain. Anytime that is going to kill

  502. you. Why are you wasting your time?

  503. 100 years? People jeered at him, laughed at

  504. him. But on the day when the rain

  505. came, he was safe and they were not.

  506. And in the book of Hebrews, it says Nova condemned his

  507. generation by his righteousness, by his obedience.

  508. That's the way it is. You got to live life fully so

  509. that the world can see and catch what you have.

  510. There are no days off, no Saturday, no Sunday for

  511. spiritual life, no days off. And I tell you, children watch

  512. you at home and catch that. Jesus, the revelation of Jesus,

  513. they get it through you, through you, they catch it.

  514. So we need to do it. Then we talked about Meshulam.

  515. Meshulam again, this is again interesting thing.

  516. Verse 4, Meshulam we talked about already.

  517. He is a guy who has did more than what he should do.

  518. But one other thing is this guy, his daughter was married to

  519. Tobias son. Tobias son was married to

  520. Mishelam's daughter. Now Tobias is an enemy.

  521. He doesn't want the watch to be built.

  522. And you are in relationship to that man.

  523. Should Nehemiah use this guy Mishelam?

  524. Huh. Your daughter is married to the

  525. son. You can't build the wall.

  526. Can he say that? But what did Naimaya do?

  527. He said. Is your heart right?

  528. Do you love God? You have to build the walls.

  529. Go ahead. I don't care if you are related

  530. to Tobaya. You have to keep Tobaya out and

  531. the Lord in. That is how we need to judge the

  532. people who are wanting to part of the church.

  533. We need to look at their heart and see whether they have the

  534. material that God can use for building the church.

  535. You don't look at the relationship, don't look at the

  536. outward life and condemn them and say you cannot have a part.

  537. Did Namah say to Tobiah that you have no part?

  538. He did say, but did he say that the Mishallam?

  539. No. So we need to be willing to have

  540. that kind of open mind. Open mind to let people be

  541. involved in the church because that's very important.

  542. And then you have shared vision. When people are given the

  543. vision, when they share the vision, the momentum picks up.

  544. The momentum picks up with a shared vision.

  545. We have talked about 21 days of prayer, 10 this 21 days of

  546. prayer. We are about 12 to 15 people

  547. have gathered there day after day and every day we prayed.

  548. But what about other people? I want you to catch that.

  549. I want you to share the same vision because that is going to

  550. change you, your family, and then it is going to change the

  551. church and it's going to make God more powerfully and then

  552. he's going to bring the revival. And we had somebody say, I see

  553. clouds being stored like angels of God coming over the church.

  554. So we are looking forward for that breakthrough for the

  555. church. No, we are five years old.

  556. We are not even 50 people yet. Regularly all those who come on

  557. and off, you put them together. It will be 50, but we have to be

  558. 50 on any day. Even when some people don't turn

  559. up. It should be 100, it should be

  560. 200. This is the vision that we need

  561. to share. And when you share in a vision,

  562. you will pray whether you stay in your house and pray for one

  563. hour, whether you come there to Alex House and you pray.

  564. We are praying because we share in the vision.

  565. We are praying because we are sharing in the vision and the

  566. momentum comes with it. Momentum comes because our

  567. shared vision and the Lord will show up and bless the people who

  568. are doing the warfare. Prayer is warfare, Prayer is

  569. warfare. I'll quickly just visit some of

  570. the gates and then finish that for today.

  571. I have a lot more to say there. You may look into my Bible.

  572. I got written Everything Everywhere, all over, so many

  573. notes, but I don't have much time.

  574. So now if you go into this broad wall here, think of the broad

  575. wall that's some maps have got the broad wall, not like this,

  576. but they're like this. I don't know about it.

  577. That's the archaeological thing. But now it is confirmed broad

  578. wall is dugout. Now recently the width of the

  579. broad wall is 7 meters, 7 meters.

  580. You can have two rooms in your bedroom.

  581. You know whatever rooms you have in your house, you can have two

  582. rooms on that in the same width. 7 meters hardly have got 3

  583. meters in a in a room or 3 1/2. So you'll so broad that it was

  584. so important. It was built by Hezekiah during

  585. the times when he found that the the Babylonians were coming and

  586. attacking and he said we need to make it strong.

  587. And then he built this wall. Hezekiah built the wall and that

  588. is how this is called broad wall.

  589. And that also means all other walls are not as broad as this

  590. broad wall. So now you go to Jerusalem, you

  591. will find a length of length of it, which is 7 meters wide.

  592. Now you can see it, it's still there, the stones are still

  593. there. And then you got Valley Gate.

  594. From Valley Gate you've got 500 yards.

  595. Somebody built not only Valley Gate, but they even build the

  596. wall up to 500 yards. That is quite longer distance

  597. and nearly little less than half a kilometer.

  598. And why do they do more than what they are asked for?

  599. Because they are passionate to see the walls restored, safety

  600. come to Jerusalem. Then you have got House of

  601. Heroes here, somewhere here. What is House of Heroes in King

  602. David's a cavalry. There were different kind of

  603. leaders. Leaders over 30 people, leaders

  604. over three people, leaders over 10 people.

  605. You know, those who are done mighty works and they were

  606. people of valor and brave people and they were given a place to

  607. live inside Jerusalem. Why do you need those people who

  608. are the ones who are going to jump up and act in terms of a

  609. threat? These brave people, they have

  610. the ability to take care of the people under them, 100 people or

  611. 50 people or 10 people or three people they are going to take

  612. care of, motivate them and bring them to war.

  613. So they were given a place inside Jerusalem that is the

  614. House of heroes, and they got Pool of Siloam here.

  615. And what is the importance of Pool of Siloam?

  616. There was a guy, blind guy was asked to go and wash his eyes in

  617. in the Pool of Siloam and that talks for Revelation, then the

  618. city of Revelation. We need to walk in Revelation.

  619. We need to help the children to walk in Revelation and we want

  620. the church to walk in Revelation.

  621. We want our eyes to be open to see in the spiritual realm and

  622. ears open to hear the spiritual realm and that is how we should

  623. live. And then you have got Kings

  624. Garden here and the Dung Gate. This Dung Gate plays a very

  625. important role. We may not appreciate the truck

  626. coming and taking your red bin and your green bin and your

  627. yellow bin on different days of the week, but it's a very

  628. important job. If they don't come and clear the

  629. rubbish, garbage, what will happen?

  630. You will have garbage in your house.

  631. So this is the place where the garbage goes.

  632. This is the place where garbage goes.

  633. In fact, King Manasseh sacrifice the children in this place.

  634. Very bad thing. But that's where it is.

  635. And when this is also Valley of Hinnom, its called Valley of

  636. Hinnom from which you get the word Gehenna.

  637. Gehenna stands for the hell basically.

  638. And the the the word the catch word they use here is that the

  639. fire doesn't go out because they are burning the rubbish in this

  640. place. Fire burner never goes out and

  641. that is how hell is described as a place where it is not

  642. happening. And then you have OK, Watergate,

  643. you need water and you got horse gate is readiness.

  644. This talks about warfare. Horses would come into the city

  645. of Jerusalem. The King's horses would come in

  646. and the Eastgate is imported because Eastgate is facing the

  647. sun. All the other region, all other

  648. religions, they worship the sun. But our one temple faces this

  649. way. Even though the entrance is on

  650. the east, it actually faces the West, the Holy of Holies in the

  651. West. So you need to know these

  652. things. We need to have right alignment

  653. in our lives. These are fixed things in your

  654. mind. The glory of God has to be a

  655. fixed element in your mind and you should be facing the right

  656. direction. Eastgate and well, inspection

  657. gate when they had to go for war, that's where they call for

  658. roster or muster and then they call the roles of the people.

  659. Or do you have this leader here or well, you are a leader of 100

  660. people. Are you 100 people there?

  661. Yes, you are in a leader of 50, Are they?

  662. That all is done here. And I tell you, we need this

  663. warfare strategy in the church and in the family.

  664. Prayer is very important. Prayer is a today's warfare

  665. strategy and you are strong in prayer.

  666. Your family is safe. You're strong in prayer.

  667. The church is safe. Hallelujah.

  668. I think I had to stop there. You know, let's pray.

  669. Father, we thank you for your word.

  670. We thank you for your word. We give you glory, honor and

  671. praise. Bless my Father.

  672. The words that I have spoken in the name of Jesus, these are not

  673. my words, but your words. I have spoken your thoughts and

  674. I thank you Father, let this vision be transferred,

  675. transferred to your children to build the church through prayer.

  676. And as we have completed nearly one week, give us grace for two

  677. more weeks and help us to see your power and glory coming to

  678. the church. Power and glory, touch the

  679. families. Power and glory touching the

  680. hearts of people, leading people for salvation, healing,

  681. deliverance in the name of Jesus.

  682. Father, I pray raise us up to be warriors in your Kingdom who

  683. will war, do warfare through prayer to the glory of your

  684. name. Let the walls of the church be

  685. rebuilt to the glory of your name.

  686. Let the walls of the city be rebuilt on prayer so that the

  687. revival will come into the city to the glory of your name.

  688. We worship you, we praise you in Jesus name.

  689. We ask and everybody says Amen. Thanks for joining us at Omega.
