  9. How many of you are excited to hear a sermon on Nehemiah

    Nehemiah 7 chapter mention

  10. Chapter 7? Oh, there's one hand up there.

  11. I can see some more now. I'm glad there's somebody

  12. interested to hear. That's really good.

  13. You know, for me, every word is very important.

  14. The Word of God is inspired, and there's something that God wants

  15. to say from most boring future portions.

  16. Also, there will be something that God wants to say, so let us

  17. see what He has to say to us from Chapter 7.

  18. And yeah, I'm not going to go on all that, every name that's

  19. listed there and the tribes and things like that, but some of

  20. the things which are very important I want to share with

  21. you from Chapter 7. So after the wall had been

  22. rebuilt and I had set the doors in place that gatekeepers and

  23. the singers and the Levites were appointed, I put in charge of

  24. Jerusalem my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah, the

  25. commander of the citadel, because he was a man of

  26. integrity and feared God more than most men do.

  27. Beautiful, very beautiful scripture.

  28. Some of you may be thinking what's beautiful about it?

  29. What is beautiful about it is that now the walls are rebuilt,

  30. gates are set up, work is done in 52 days.

  31. Amazing miracle. But now does the work cease

  32. afterwards? There's no more work for to do.

  33. There's plenty more to do on a daily basis.

  34. So here you see Nehemiah doing certain things.

  35. What is he doing here is he says he set the doors in place.

  36. The gatekeepers and the singers and the Lee Whites were

  37. appointed. Who are these three categories

  38. of people? Gatekeepers are appointed and

  39. you have the singers and Levites.

  40. You don't disconnect the safety of the city from the worship of

  41. the temple. They both are united.

  42. They are 1. You have the walls rebuilt,

  43. gates set up, doors set in place.

  44. It's not over. You need to keep an eye on who

  45. comes in, who goes out. So you need gatekeepers.

  46. Now who are these gatekeepers? Probably there are some of them

  47. who are gatekeepers of the temple were also used as

  48. gatekeepers of the city. Am I communicating here

  49. something? Gatekeepers of the temple are

  50. appointed as gatekeepers of the city.

  51. Do we have gatekeepers in our church?

  52. Everybody's a gatekeeper. I'm telling you, you need to

  53. keep your eyes wide open to see who is coming in, who is going

  54. out, who is coming in, who is going out, because you don't

  55. know who is coming in. Somebody may come in with the

  56. wrong motives and somebody picks up those wrong motives.

  57. It's good to communicate to somebody who is in leadership

  58. because not everything can be done by a leader.

  59. So there is a necessity for keeping your eyes and your ears

  60. open as a gatekeeper. Everybody is a gatekeeper.

  61. And then singers and Lee Whites. Now this is very important

  62. position. Now if you have, if you have to

  63. understand the background of this, you need to look at Second

  64. Chronicles. You need to look at where King

  65. David has appointed Asaph as the leader of those who will be, who

  66. will be leading people in worship and in musical

  67. instruments. And Asaph was not only a choir

  68. leader, but Asaph was also a prophet because when they were

  69. worshipping God and singing, he would also prophecy.

  70. Sometimes we expect the prophecy to come out from nothing.

  71. You don't want to do sing to God, don't want to pray, just

  72. want to do your things. And you expect to become a

  73. prophet. What kind of prophecy will come

  74. out of a man who is not connected to God?

  75. If you are tap into your own soul, soulish prophecies will

  76. come out. But if you tap into the Spirit

  77. of God, then the real prophecy comes out and singing and

  78. worship. See, today John was encouraging

  79. people to connect with the heart of God.

  80. Say something to him, just like a child says to the Father, I

  81. love you. Say something to the Father.

  82. You know, that is what we need. Somehow tapping into the heart

  83. of God is what is the central thing from which prophecy will

  84. flow. Prophecy is not something you

  85. think of. I shared with you when we came

  86. back from America how God gave me a word about a church they

  87. were meeting in a kindergarten. So you will expect that you can

  88. easily get away with the prophecy.

  89. You will get a land to build a church because they have a need.

  90. You can say it, but God did not stop there.

  91. He gave me the dream of a lady and I could, I could see be in

  92. in that building and I said I am on the 3rd or 4th floor.

  93. I see these things on this side and this side on this side and

  94. that's my house. I dreamed about it last night.

  95. Now the second one confirms the first one.

  96. The second word of knowledge confirms the first word of

  97. knowledge that they are going to get a land to build a church.

  98. So you need to tap into the heart of God.

  99. It is not coming out of your brain.

  100. Prophecy should not come out of your brain.

  101. Think about it and then just say something that will that will

  102. fit into the situation. Somebody loses a job and you

  103. hear about it and you say, don't worry brother, God is giving you

  104. a job from your mind. You can say it, but if you go on

  105. your knees and worship God and touch the heart of God and God

  106. shows you, yes, I'm opening this door.

  107. And then you go and say that word will be prophecy, because

  108. it will come with power to fulfill it.

  109. Am I communicating here? So you need the singers and the

  110. Levites. And they were appointed by

  111. Nehemiah. They were appointed by Nehemiah.

  112. They were appointed by King David 1st.

  113. And later King Solomon carried on with the same kind of

  114. classification and he redid the job of his father.

  115. And then you see subsequently many kings have failed to

  116. continue the tradition. And then you come across

  117. Jehoshaphat who ordains these people to go in the battle

  118. singing before the the army. So worship is not just a thing

  119. that you do when you are in comfortable zone, but worship is

  120. something you do even in a situation of a war with an

  121. enemy. That is what is going to give

  122. you victory. You think you are being defeated

  123. by the enemy. Start worshipping God and you

  124. may say I am not a good singer. Do like what I do.

  125. I put I record the things on my Apple Music thing and I play it

  126. there and I sing with it because I am not a good singer.

  127. If I sing, you will all run away from here.

  128. So I can say boldly that I don't know singing.

  129. I am just zero in that part. But can I sing to the Lord?

  130. Yes, God will be pleased to hear my voice because He made me and

  131. he loves to hear my not so musical voice.

  132. He loves to hear it as well. And if you have a good voice you

  133. have no reason to say I don't want to sing.

  134. Praise God, I never knew that I can preach about my not able to

  135. sing also. Its a thing.

  136. So I put in charge of Jerusalem. So you have this temple and you

  137. have the walls rebuilt and the people who are serving the

  138. temple are not just busy with the things of the temple, they

  139. are also busy with the security of the place.

  140. Now you have to have security. Very important.

  141. Security is very important. And if you are aware of the

  142. computers and your other things, you know how how cyber security

  143. is playing a key role. Basically to keep the enemy out

  144. of hacking into your computer, into your details, its very

  145. important. If there was ever any time in

  146. history that security was most important, it is now, is now.

  147. Countries are spying on other countries, hijacking things,

  148. companies shutting down electricity, shutting down the

  149. banks, shutting down the hospitals.

  150. They're doing it from the little thing they have in their house.

  151. They sit there and attack. So same way enemy is busy trying

  152. to attack the Christian Christians and the church and

  153. individuals. He is busy.

  154. We are not busy attacking him. We are not busy becoming aware

  155. that there's been attack going on.

  156. We are not aware. Is there somebody with pain in

  157. the right foot right now? Anybody with the pain in the

  158. right foot, somebody he's attacking.

  159. I know he's attacking somebody. So I bind it right now in the

  160. name of Jesus. They will.

  161. I bind you in the name of Jesus. You will not touch mice, the

  162. children here, no one you will touch.

  163. I bind you in the name of Jesus. Cool.

  164. Let's go on. And the second thing we hear is

  165. now, is there a place for what you call it, family

  166. relationships, promoting family? That's not what I want to say

  167. here. But basically you see Neymar

  168. doing the exactly same thing I put in charge of Jerusalem.

  169. My brother Hanani. My brother Hanani, who is this

  170. guy? He's the same name you heard in

  171. Chapter 1. He brought the news from

  172. Jerusalem to Susa saying the walls have been broken down,

  173. gates have been burned down, and city has got no security.

  174. We are in a great its very insulting to live in Judah, in

  175. Jerusalem, because there is no dignity anymore, no protection

  176. anymore. And when he heard Nehemiah heard

  177. that story, he sat down and he wept for months and prayed.

  178. So that Hanani who brought the news, he is putting him as in

  179. charge of Jerusalem. Why?

  180. He has a heart for Jerusalem, he has a heart to sow, he has a

  181. heart for his safety, he has a heart for his prosperity, he has

  182. a heart for his to flourish. So how do you find people just

  183. because he's name as brother, he's not appointing him there.

  184. You have to find whether they have a heart for the ministry.

  185. Otherwise we cannot put even the family into the positions.

  186. Secondly, you see another man called Hananaya.

  187. Hananaya, who is he? He was a commander of the

  188. citizen. Where is the citadel?

  189. We have seen the map before several times in the in the

  190. northern part of it we have it there Citadel.

  191. There is a tower of 100 is a tower of another 1-2 towers

  192. there and he was in charge of that tower.

  193. What does the tower do you when you are in charge of tower?

  194. You are there appointing people day and night to see if the

  195. enemy is approaching. You will see if the enemy is

  196. approaching. And then you blow the trumpet so

  197. that everybody knows that there's a danger to the city.

  198. And he was in charge of that place.

  199. And now that man, does he have a heart for the city of Jerusalem?

  200. He has. And what he says is about him.

  201. He says because he was a man of integrity, he was not partial.

  202. There's no partiality in his heart.

  203. He was a man of integrity, honest man, and feared God more

  204. than most men do. Fearing God is the number one

  205. quality to serve God. If you don't have fear of God

  206. and you're serving God, I don't think you're really serving God.

  207. You're serving yourself. Fearing God is more than to be

  208. coveted than anything else, because fear of God is the

  209. beginning of wisdom. Fear of God is the beginning of

  210. wisdom. And you need to have that fear.

  211. And when you do not have the fear of God, you can do many

  212. religious things, but it is of no use.

  213. It will be like an offering of Cain, not an offering of Abel.

  214. So we need our life to be accepted, service to be

  215. accepted. We need to have fear of God.

  216. And here you have this two people, Hanani and Hananiah.

  217. Some people think that it is just an error is Hanani and

  218. Hanani are actually the same person.

  219. But when you read there, it says because you're a man of

  220. integrity. I said to them, verse three, I

  221. said to them, them is plural. So Hanani and Hanaya not the

  222. same man. They're two different people.

  223. So he said to them in verse 3, what does he say?

  224. The gates of Jerusalem are not to be opened until the sun is

  225. hot. While the gatekeepers are still

  226. on duty, have them shut down the doors and bar them.

  227. This is another rule that is important when in times of

  228. crisis and in times of peace as well.

  229. There is a precaution. People can slip in through the

  230. darkness. You remember what was the time

  231. and what was the strategy the people had when they wanted to

  232. kill Samson in a city. They said we will wait until he

  233. goes out in the morning when the doors are open, gates are open.

  234. But he did not wait until the morning.

  235. In the middle of the night, he went and picked up, pulled up

  236. the bars and gate, everything and ran away with it.

  237. But they were waiting because once the gates are shut, you

  238. cannot go out. You have to wait for the gates

  239. to be open and people who want to come in to do business, you

  240. have to open the gates for them to come in.

  241. So Nehemiah is giving them orders.

  242. What is the order here? You have to open when the sun is

  243. hot. That means people are wide

  244. awake, they are out of their beds, they are doing their

  245. things and now is the time to open the gates.

  246. Don't open it too early because when it is still dark, you open

  247. the gates. People can sneak in and close

  248. the gate when it is still daylight, so that you are

  249. reducing the possibility of the enemy sneaking in through the

  250. gates before your very own eyes. So he says when it is still,

  251. when it is hot and before it is dark, you close it.

  252. So these are the things. But what?

  253. How do you apply this to us in the church today?

  254. There has to be application, isn't it?

  255. The application today is we need to be doctrinally sound.

  256. All the doctrines that we learn about Trinity, inspirational

  257. scriptures, justification by faith, sanctification, second

  258. coming of Christ, baptism laying on our hands, impartation of the

  259. whole gifts of the Holy Spirit. We must have a very good

  260. knowledge of all the basic doctrines as in as a church, and

  261. that will actually strengthen the walls of the church.

  262. And then you need people who has a proper vision to when they

  263. look at the people, they should be able to say, oh, I see

  264. there's a devil behind that man or this woman.

  265. So you need to have that kind of discernment, the gift of

  266. designing of the spirits. When we have all this, this is

  267. the New Testament pattern and this is the Old Testament.

  268. You've got a physical building, a physical city, walls and

  269. gates, but when you don't have the same situation, the church,

  270. what the church is different body.

  271. Now. Its a living Organism and we

  272. need to have people who will have the gift of discerning of

  273. the spirits and they have to make the right kind of church.

  274. Church should have should be able to make a right kind of

  275. dishes account to that as being led by the Holy Spirit.

  276. So this is a high calling for the church.

  277. Its not something you simply go clap your hands, sing songs, sit

  278. there, listen to the message, put some money and go home.

  279. No, there is more to being a Christian than doing these

  280. things. Anybody excited about what I'm

  281. saying? Can I hear?

  282. Amen. Do you want to grow in the gifts

  283. of the Holy Spirit? Do you want to grow in the good

  284. doctrines of the Bible? That is how you protect the

  285. church. And I'm telling you, it's not

  286. something I am. These are the end times.

  287. Everybody knows it. In these end times, false

  288. prophets will come and false miracle workers will come.

  289. They even will make fire come down from heaven.

  290. That's what is written in the Book of Revelation.

  291. So this is not a time I am not discouraging pursuing miracles.

  292. I am not discouraging pursuing prophecy.

  293. No, it should be from the Holy Spirit, not from the demonics

  294. realm. And when you look into the Cham

  295. in media like YouTube and other places, so much of the demonic

  296. passing for as if it is from God and some of us have got

  297. sometimes it is good to be generous to people, but gift of

  298. discerning of spirits is something different.

  299. You need to wait upon God. So many times I have prayed for

  300. the people who are so well known on the media say God, what is

  301. this from you? Can I trust this person?

  302. I lost that ability to accept everybody because there are so

  303. many of them now deceiving in the name of Jesus.

  304. So you need to be very careful, very, very careful.

  305. And and that's part of guarding the city, guarding Jerusalem,

  306. the church. Then what happens here?

  307. Gates have to be shut. OK.

  308. Is there anyway mostly identical?

  309. Oh, that's OK. Next thing.

  310. And also apart residents of Jerusalem as gods, some at their

  311. posts and some near their own houses.

  312. Now you need people to take turns.

  313. It is everybody's job. Protection of city is not just

  314. handful of people appointed to take care of it.

  315. It's everybody's job. So what is Neymar saying?

  316. He's appointed them. Some of them.

  317. He appointed residents of Jerusalem.

  318. They are living inside Jerusalem.

  319. But they also have to take turns to care for wherever this

  320. protection needs. Somebody has to do the night

  321. shift. They has somebody has take turns

  322. for it and then some at their own, at their own residency,

  323. their own houses. The houses may be closer to the

  324. wall and there is a gate and then you, your house is there.

  325. So you go and do your shift. There is a night shift.

  326. You know, so many times there was not yet.

  327. I mean in Christchurch we didn't have crime rates as it's

  328. becoming more and more these days. 23 years ago when we came

  329. you don't hear once in a year or twice in a year you'll hear

  330. about a stabbing or a murder. But now its just going on and

  331. now not even being reported looks like sometimes.

  332. So drug cases, shootings and so many things are happening which

  333. is just an increase in the crime rate and cars are being stolen

  334. in the night in the most decent of the areas.

  335. What I'm trying to say here is that the crime is going up.

  336. So people are coming together and forming neighborhood, you

  337. know, guard duties. They form a committee.

  338. They're into small groups. They're going driving in the

  339. night to keep looking suspicious cars stop them, talk to them.

  340. You know, people are taking security into their own hands.

  341. And what are the police doing? That can be a big question mark.

  342. But police have their own hands full that that's what they say.

  343. They cannot attend to it. Even if you hold somebody,

  344. arrest somebody and say your hold, I'm holding him right now,

  345. this guy who was walking with a knife will say no, no, no, don't

  346. just let him go. They are saying so it's not

  347. right. But in Neymar's time, people

  348. took security in their own hands.

  349. In turns. They are going standing there in

  350. the nights and taking care of the city.

  351. And we cannot physically translate that into the church.

  352. But one of the ways anybody can protect a church is to maintain

  353. doctrinal purity. Well, there, there will be

  354. differences in doctrines. I am not trying to say there is

  355. a uniform way of understanding everything.

  356. There will be some. Some things you can say, OK, I

  357. accept it or I can leave it and don't have to force the other

  358. guy. He had to believe what I

  359. believe. No, I don't have to do that.

  360. But at the same time some things non negotiable.

  361. You disagree on this matter? We cannot have fellowship, that

  362. kind of a thing. Cool.

  363. Now the city was large and spacious, but there were few

  364. people in it. As I told you, it was only the

  365. whole you can go around the city walls, 2.4 kilometers roughly.

  366. It will take you about 25 minutes to 30 minutes to walk

  367. around the city on the walls. It's not a very big area, but

  368. very few people who were there. So he had to encourage some

  369. people to come and dwell inside the city so that the security

  370. will increase. When you have only few people,

  371. you cannot ask. Everybody will be have to be

  372. doing the shift all through the nights, every day and they get

  373. tired. So he was saying, OK, come in.

  374. Also, there's a lesson here for the church.

  375. There's more room for others to come into the church.

  376. Can we say that again, there is more room for others to come

  377. into the church? Let's say it again.

  378. Yeah, we are actually few now, like the Jerusalem, there is

  379. more room. We need people to come in.

  380. So when you just keep sharing the vision of Omega with

  381. somebody who will, who is interested, and they may say,

  382. OK, we want to come in and see what happens here.

  383. We are not here to steal sheep. We are here to share the gospel

  384. and so that they will believe in the name of Jesus and then we

  385. disciple them and that they will be rooted and grounded and bear

  386. fruit, much fruit in the glory of God.

  387. That's the vision of Omega. So everybody has to do it, not

  388. just one person. So we need to do all of us

  389. should be sharing the gospel, bringing in people because

  390. there's more room in the church to bring people in.

  391. Cool. And the houses have not yet been

  392. rebuilt. So my God put into my heart to

  393. assemble the nobles and the officials and the common people

  394. for registration by families. Now this is very important thing

  395. for Nehemiah Chapter 7. This is a very important

    Nehemiah 7 chapter mention

  396. statement. We are reading here what he was

  397. trying to say. OK, we have few people here, but

  398. the people have come from different parts of Judah.

  399. People have been taken as captives.

  400. When they return, they go back to their own home, like you are

  401. living in, let's say #1 Warden St.

  402. You are taken away and you come back.

  403. Where will you go #1 Warden St. And see, ah, is my house still

  404. there? Is there something that I can

  405. recover? Can I rebuild it?

  406. So people who came back from Soussa, who came back from

  407. Babylon, from the Persian Kingdom, and they had to, they

  408. were going back to their own places.

  409. That's the reason why we have less people inside Jerusalem.

  410. So he said its important that we should register the family.

  411. We should make a registry or make registration by families.

  412. What he was trying to do here is he wants to have a pure race

  413. comeback. Its simply OK tell me who is

  414. your father and who is your grandfather?

  415. Who is your great grandfather? You have a list of they used to

  416. carry the story by orally by mouth most of them.

  417. You ask him who are you? He will tell his fathers name

  418. and son of so and so father who is son of so and so who is son

  419. of so and so son of so and so. They'll go back to the 12 tribes

  420. leaders. So he was trying to get that

  421. back and make sure there's a pure Israelites coming back.

  422. So that's what he did and genealogical record of those who

  423. had been the first written. This is what I found written

  424. there. So this is he is relying on some

  425. other record. What is he saying here?

  426. Who had been the first to return?

  427. This is what I found written there.

  428. So he is looking at some document.

  429. Where is the document Ezra chapter 2?

    Ezra 2 chapter mention

  430. That document is in Ezra chapter 2.

    Ezra 2 chapter mention

  431. So if you sit have a lot of time, sit with Ezra chapter 2

    Ezra 2 chapter mention

  432. and Nema Chapter 7 and look and compare.

  433. There will be some differences, but those differences are not

  434. irreconcilable. They can be reconciled.

  435. Like the total number of people that you find in Ezra is certain

  436. number and in Neymar it's a certain number.

  437. There's a difference of few thousands, but that difference

  438. can be explained if you have time to sit down and do.

  439. I don't find any great moral value in doing it, so I'm

  440. skipping that part. I can do it for you, but it's

  441. not so important. So you have all these people

  442. come back. You've got a dozen people

  443. mentioned there and I was thinking about the dozen names.

  444. Why does he use 12 names? Are they referring to the 12

  445. tribes of Israel? No, because you don't have 12

  446. tribes. Come back to Jerusalem, the

  447. northern part, 10 tribes, they are gone and now we don't know

  448. where they are. And that's why you have the

  449. Samaritans, the Sun Ballot and Tobiah.

  450. There are mixed race now from the northern tribes and some of

  451. them are the southern tribe as well.

  452. So you are looking at a list of people who belong to Judah and

  453. he's giving you 12 names of leaders who who are leaders and

  454. who you can connect to one of the 12.

  455. Its like that. So now after all these things,

  456. where do we go? Now these searched for their

  457. family records but they could not find them and so they were

  458. excluded from the priesthood as unclean.

  459. Now this is a very bold statement.

  460. Neymar did OK. Some people claim to belong to

  461. the priestly family. We are from the priests.

  462. Who is your father? Grandfather.

  463. Great grandfather. I can tell some things, but some

  464. things are missing. I just.

  465. I can't prove that I'm 100%. I am from the priestly family.

  466. OK. You cannot prove it.

  467. You will not eat from the food that is allowed, only for

  468. priests to eat. You will stay away until we make

  469. sure by consulting Urim and Tamim.

  470. What is Urim? Tamim again you have to go back

  471. to Aaron the priest. He had on his robe a set of I

  472. think 2 stones or a set of 2 stones, 6 + 6, whatever.

  473. Urim is one set of stones or one stone, and Thummim is another

  474. stone. And when they have to find out

  475. something, the will of God is this right or wrong?

  476. So some priest will come and ask the question as the high priest

  477. is standing wearing these robes and one of them is going to

  478. light up, and if that lights up, it is a South and the other one

  479. lights up, it is a number. So this is how they used to

  480. determine the mind of God, will of God, on every individual

  481. matter and every individual matter they used to console Orim

  482. and Tamim. If you look back into the story

  483. of Saul, when Jonathan went in and attacked the Philistines,

  484. they had a great victory. But then he said he made a vow,

  485. he took a oath. No one should eat anything until

  486. we finish our enemies. But Jonathan, he put his stick

  487. and ate some honey and he was refreshed.

  488. His eyes became bright and he was able to go in great vigor

  489. and go after the Philistines and finish them.

  490. Kill the mall. And now that the mattress

  491. brought to Saul, your son Jonathan ate some honey.

  492. Oh, did he? I told anybody who eats honey

  493. will be put to death. So he has to carry the thing

  494. forward. So he wanted some more support.

  495. So he says, let us now consult the priest, Urim and Tamim.

  496. So he says OK if me and my family are at fault speak

  497. through Urim, if rest of the Israelis are false speak to

  498. Tamil. So the this light comes up, he

  499. and his family are guilty. So now he next time he says now

  500. speak O God, is it between me and my son?

  501. The son was taken up. And then he says tell me what

  502. you have done. Oh I ate some of the honey.

  503. OK, you will be put to death. A whole Israelite just said no

  504. you cannot put him to death. Because of him, we got a

  505. victory. Because of him we got victory.

  506. We are not going to put him to death.

  507. So that day the people rescued Jonathan from being put to

  508. death. This is a very glib way of

  509. finding God's will, misusing the provision of Urim and Tamim.

  510. That's what he did. But when he wanted, when he was

  511. in a crisis, when he wanted to go into the war and he wanted to

  512. hear God, God, are you going to give me victory there?

  513. It says in the book of First Samuel, you see that he says

  514. that God did not speak to him through dream.

  515. God did not speak to him through a prophecy.

  516. God did not speak to him through Urim and Tamim.

  517. God says, no, I am not going to speak.

  518. You cannot make him speak. But in the New Testament it's

  519. different. Can I hear everybody say it?

  520. In the New Testament is different.

  521. Why is it different? You have the gift of the Holy

  522. Spirit dwelling in you. You are in union with the Holy

  523. Spirit. And when you get into the habit

  524. of hearing His voice on a small matters and then hear His voice

  525. on the big matters, it is something you can grow into.

  526. There's something you need to invest your time.

  527. You cannot always depend on somebody to prophecy to you.

  528. It don't depend on somebody prophesying into your life.

  529. Why you can hear yourself, everybody can hear the voice of

  530. the Holy Spirit. So the last time you see the

  531. people make a mistake is in the book of Acts chapter 1 where you

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  532. see that because Judas was killed already, I mean he

  533. committed suicide and out of the 12 you have got only 11

  534. disciples. Now Peter says OK, we had to

  535. replace according to the Psalm he quotes on the Psalm, we had

  536. to replace the one who is missing in our side.

  537. So let us cast lots, write the names of they found two people

  538. and they both they write their names on two pieces of paper or

  539. something and cast lots and it was taken a Matthias came out

  540. and he was becoming one of the 12:00.

  541. But that is the last time you hear in the church this kind of

  542. external means of finding the mind of God.

  543. Some Christians, some some people come and tell me, oh, I

  544. wanted to know the will of God, should I go to Australia or not?

  545. So I made two pieces of paper, Australia and other people, New

  546. Zealand and I prayed over it and folded and I picked up with my

  547. eyes closed, it came Australia. That's not how God wants to

  548. communicate anymore. He doesn't want to communicate

  549. to you through lots. He has given you the Holy Spirit

  550. to live in you 24 by 724 by 7. He is not going to leave you

  551. Monday. He is not going to leave on a

  552. Tuesday. He won't be leaving on a Sunday.

  553. But we are not despising the gift of prophecy.

  554. No, we are encouraging everybody to become a prophet.

  555. Everyone of you can prophecy. That's what Paul wrote to them.

  556. All of you can prophecy. All of you does all have your

  557. name included? You believe that your name is

  558. included in that all and set aside time to pray.

  559. Pray. I took me 7 years.

  560. I'm telling my friend seven years to hear the I used to hear

  561. on and off. But I had one encounter with the

  562. Holy Spirit. He spoke to me for seven days

  563. explaining the scriptures every evening.

  564. That changed my life. But you need to have that hunger

  565. to hear the voice of God. You may not understand what's

  566. going on in your life. Why is this happening?

  567. Why is that happening? Why is that happening?

  568. Why? Why am I losing money?

  569. Why am I becoming sick? Go to God and ask God what is

  570. the root cause of all my problems.

  571. Wait in His presence, pray in tongues, wait in His presence,

  572. Pray in tongues, wait in His presence.

  573. If he doesn't speak tomorrow, do the same thing tomorrow and day

  574. after until he says the problem is this and puts the finger on

  575. the problem. When we don't want to pay the

  576. price, we have no solution. When we don't want to pay the

  577. price, we have no solution. We need to have the time with

  578. God and then bang you, you have these things.

  579. At the conference they said, oh all of you pair up and pray for

  580. each other. So I pair up with a man and he

  581. happened to be a man who has been a fourth generation

  582. minister of Four Square, great grandfather who worked with Amy

  583. Simple MacPherson. And she said just go to this

  584. place and do the ministry. And he went off to Argentina and

  585. he started a church there and then his son and his son.

  586. And this man is now the 4th generation man is serving in

  587. Foursquare. He was born in Argentina,

  588. brought up in the US. And he says I'm a Argentinian, I

  589. speak Spanish, that's my motherland, that's my first

  590. language. English is my second language.

  591. You see a Spanish man bound in a white man's body.

  592. I said that's inspiring testimony, how somebody's

  593. consecration can impact 4 generations and on and on.

  594. When you love God, your children will love God and your

  595. grandchildren will love God. Some things can go wrong.

  596. Don't worry about that every. We cannot take guilt about it,

  597. but you bring it to God and say, well, I put that blood on my

  598. family now. It's never too late for God to

  599. put his finger and change things.

  600. So put that family, bring the family before God.

  601. As a high priest, as a king, you have the responsibility to hold

  602. the family and let that thing begin to work.

  603. Now. It's never too late.

  604. It's never too late. It's never too late.

  605. We need to go back to God and say, I will wait in your

  606. presence until you give me an answer.

  607. And he, the Holy Spirit who lives in you wants to speak to

  608. you. Decision making.

  609. Everybody said decision making. I will conclude it very soon.

  610. Jesus Christ has to make the decision.

  611. Did he? He wanted to select the 12.

  612. What did he do? He went away on the mountain

  613. top, prayed all night. Was it the only time he prayed?

  614. He must have prayed several nights and said, God, who do you

  615. father? Tell me, who are you selecting

  616. out of this? Children of Israel?

  617. Whom are you selecting, father? Brother said take 12 people.

  618. Hi, that guy Peter whom you called Rock, take him.

  619. He is one of them, and his brother Andrew and all the 12

  620. names. And in the morning he comes and

  621. calls the disciples and selects 12 out of all the disciples.

  622. And he said, I am sending you, sorry, I am calling you

  623. apostles. Should we do anything different?

  624. Should we have a structure just because we need to have a

  625. structure? No, I don't believe so.

  626. I personally wait upon God for everybody here.

  627. You may think, oh, I just go, sit there and go.

  628. I don't think Ramana ever remembers me in his prayer.

  629. You are wrong. I am praying for everyone of you

  630. and there are times I pray and say God show me what's happening

  631. in this family and I may release a word of prophecy here.

  632. I will not tell the name. I know that that person if they

  633. identify, they will come and send.

  634. Many times I missed it. Though I have given the word for

  635. the family, they did not respond.

  636. They think that's not my problem.

  637. If God says that's his problem and people don't come forward,

  638. that's not my problem too. My responsibility ends with

  639. prayer and waiting in the presence of God for each one of

  640. the families. So it's the same thing for

  641. everything. We don't make decisions just

  642. because I want. I like somebody, take him.

  643. I don't like somebody, I don't take him.

  644. This is not the way I function. I go to God and say, God, show

  645. me are you raise your hand on this person to join me.

  646. I think that's how we need to be guided by the Holy Spirit.

  647. And He wants to guide. Who wants to guide?

  648. Holy Spirit wants to guide. He is interested in your

  649. business. He he is interested in your

  650. health. He is interested in your

  651. finances. He is interested in your

  652. children. He is interested in your every

  653. kind of unforeseen circumstances.

  654. He is interested in it. He wants to give you warning.

  655. He wants to protect you. He wants to guide you.

  656. He wants to bless you. And I encourage you to connect

  657. with the Holy Spirit. If you say, oh, I have not, no,

  658. I have never done it like this before, You can do now.

  659. Until you hear from the Holy Spirit, you don't get up.

  660. That is a determination with which you go on your knees.

  661. So many times I go on my knees, I say, Father, I want to hear.

  662. I want to hear your voice. I want to hear the voice of the

  663. Holy Spirit. I don't want to get up until you

  664. hear. I'm waiting there for one hour I

  665. don't hear, two hours I don't hear, 3 hours I don't hear.

  666. And then I carry the problem into the next day.

  667. Do the same thing. Wait, wait, pray, wait, pray,

  668. wait. And usually takes three days,

  669. not longer than three days. He will speak even before 3 days

  670. or even the third day. Many difficult decisions I made.

  671. The third day he spoke to me. That's why I'm telling you 3

  672. days. Try it.

  673. Then you can come and stand here and give your testimony.

  674. I am not telling you what doesn't work.

  675. I'm telling you something that works.

  676. Shall we pray? Thank you Jesus.

  685. will begin to hear his voice. Your eyes will begin to see the

  686. spiritual realm in the name of Jesus.

  687. He paid a great price that you should hear his voice.

  688. Why do you want to lose that gift?

  689. Why do you want to lose the lose the privilege of hearing his

  690. voice? I never heard his voice.

  691. I want to do so. Just stand where you are.

  692. I am going to pray for you. Thank you Jesus.

  698. soul and body, and I disconnect every voice of the enemy.

  699. Right now I disconnect the Satan, the thief.

  700. I kick you out of their life now You will not stop them from

  701. hearing and seeing in the spiritual realm in the name of

  702. Jesus. I bind you, I bind you, I bind

  704. Let my children go free. Let my children go free in the

  712. Thank you again for your children who have this hunger.

  713. Give them grace to wait in your presence.

  714. Pray in tongues and become silent to hear your voice and

  715. pursue that day after day after day and before they know.

  716. Let them hear your voice and see things you have kept in store

  717. for them. I bless them in the name of the

  718. Father, Son, the Holy Ghost. You are blessed.

  719. No one can change it. Jesus mighty name, Amen.
