  1. You've tuned into a mega church. We are people hungry to

  2. encounter God through worship and His Word being witnesses to

  3. the world around us. We pray this teaching blesses

  4. you and trust God will reveal Himself to you in a new way

  5. today. And if you need prayer for

  6. healing or breakthrough? Want to find out more about

  7. Omega? Get to our website or Facebook

  8. page through the links below. Everybody say the revival is

  9. continuing. So what has happened in the

  10. previous chapters? We see that they have gathered

  11. on the on the 7th month. The first day is the trumpets

  12. and the 10th day is the Day of Atonement.

  13. And from the 15th day till the 22nd day, they celebrate the

  14. festival of booths or tabernacles.

  15. And the 23rd day is a day of rest.

  16. Now here we are coming to the 24th day.

  17. On the 24th day of the same month, the Israelites gathered

  18. together, fasting and wearing sackcloth and putting dust on

  19. their heads. Is it required for them to do

  20. this? Do you expect them to be

  21. behaving like this? You, you just celebrate a

  22. festival you rejoiced in. God offered sacrifices.

  23. Everything is done until the 22nd day. 23rd day is a day of

  24. rest and 24th day you are putting on sackcloth, putting

  25. dust and ashes on your head and turning up again in the public

  26. square and humbling yourself and crying out to God for mercy.

  27. Is it expected at all? Is anybody telling them to do

  28. it? So the revival when it comes the

  29. public will be motivated by themselves.

  30. You don't need to tell them its not top down, its not from the

  31. pastors telling oh the revival is here, you guys are going to

  32. do it. No it is a people will be

  33. turning towards the study of the word of God.

  34. They will read the word of God and act upon the Word.

  35. They will obey the word and when you do it, the revival is come

  36. into your life. I can't force revival into

  37. anybody. No pastor can force revival into

  38. anybody. So on the 24th day of the same

  39. month, Israel is gathered together, fasting and wearing

  40. sackcloth and putting dust on the heads.

  41. Those of Israelite descent had separated themselves from all

  42. foreigners. They stood in their places and

  43. confessed their sins and the sins of their ancestors.

  44. Now what is what are we reading in the verse today?

  45. Israelites descendant had separated themselves from all

  46. foreigners. Now by this time many of the

  47. people had wives who belong to other than Jewish people.

  48. They married, they had children. And now they are saying, OK, if

  49. somebody is of a Jewish descent, he's standing there covered in

  50. sackcloth, say Lord, I'm sorry and please forgive me.

  51. He's putting away the wife and the children.

  52. Is it right to do it Looks very harsh isn't it?

  53. It is not about it is what is it about is about purity.

  54. Its about purity and the people are willingly doing it willingly

  55. wanting to separate everything that's foreign married to see.

  56. This is one of the things that we keep telling again and again

  57. and we want to reinforces if you are a believer, not married, if

  58. you come across other, I mean opposite sex person, if they are

  59. not believers, you don't have don't need to even stop and

  60. think. You don't need to stop and

  61. think. It is 100% not God's will to

  62. start with. Well, there may be cases where

  63. people have got married later on, they became believers.

  64. That's not a, that's an exception, not a general rule.

  65. General rule is you are not unequally yoked together with

  66. unbelievers. It's very simple rule and that

  67. applies to marriage and these people have broken it and that's

  68. the reason why now they are saying, ah, we have messed up

  69. our life but we want to change it.

  70. It's a costly decision for them to make it.

  71. To put away a wife and children is very costly, very costly.

  72. To obey God is very costly. It's not easy.

  73. And Jesus himself said those who want to follow me, they have to

  74. take up the cross daily and follow me.

  75. So is it any surprise that this is the same thing even in the

  76. Old Testament and it's not no different in the New Testament?

  77. It is very hard to follow God and one of the one of the things

  78. is we need to be committed to study the word and obey the word

  79. and that's what they are doing. So those who had of Israel

  80. descent had separated themselves from all foreigners.

  81. They stood in their places and confessed their sins and the

  82. sins of their ancestors. That means this is not a new

  83. sin, its been done by the father or the forefather, grandfather

  84. and now they're confessing all the sin of their sins and their

  85. forefathers saying we have sinned against you by marrying

  86. into the foreigners. Now what is the problem?

  87. Marrying somebody who is not a believer, who is not shared the

  88. same faith? Go back to the time when they

  89. were redeemed from Egypt and they were on their journey to

  90. the Promised land and they come to the Mount Sinai and after the

  91. Mount Sinai then they are going forward.

  92. One of the things they came across is one of the one of the

  93. kings, Balaam, wanted to curse Israelites, Balak and he hired a

  94. false prophet called Balaam to curse the Israelites and he

  95. failed because God did not allow Balaam to curse Israelites.

  96. Ultimately what Balaam did was he told them he I got no power

  97. to cast a spell on these people. But you can do one thing.

  98. Let your women virgins come out dancing and celebrate festival

  99. and let them see. Let the Israelites see and go

  100. after them and when they get into sexual relationship they

  101. will bring wrath of God on themselves.

  102. That's what it happened and few thousands were dead.

  103. After that when God gets them, few thousands were dead.

  104. So the reason what is the importance is God wants to keep

  105. a pure race. That is why he he has insisted

  106. from the beginning, holiness is very important to God and that's

  107. why I am holy, be holy, because I am holy.

  108. That's the commandment. And here we see that these

  109. people have read the word and understood that they have

  110. sinned. And now they are confessing

  111. their forefathers and their own sins and their fathers sins, and

  112. they are repenting of these things.

  113. And they stood where they were and read from the book of the

  114. law of the Lord. They got for 1/4 of the day and

  115. spent another quarter for confession, and in worshipping

  116. the Lord they got. Now this is what revival is all

  117. about. Before how long they were

  118. standing in the previous chapter, morning 6 till

  119. afternoon 12, whoever could understand was standing and Ezra

  120. was reading from a pedestal, a high point and he used to read

  121. from there. Many leavers were joining him

  122. and there were many other leavers who were scattered

  123. everywhere who are trying to give an interpretation of it so

  124. people would understand when they understood it.

  125. They are crying and weeping and now quarter of a day is 3 hours.

  126. Now let us have a service of three hours of reading the Bible

  127. and let us have another three hours of worshipping God and

  128. confession. How many will be in the church?

  129. You'll say no, that's crazy. I don't want to be part of the

  130. church. In India, we have one particular

  131. denomination where they have got too many things going on.

  132. On Sunday you'll have one, one message, a lot of singing, 40

  133. minutes to one hour singing, and then you have one message or one

  134. hour for worshipping. And people will be worshipping

  135. everywhere. And afterwards they have a

  136. second message and that second message is again for one hour.

  137. And then they have some type of intercession.

  138. And then they have convenient, another message for convenient.

  139. It starts at morning 10:00, ends at 4:00, and they serve a meal

  140. after that. And people will be coming at

  141. their own time. Some will want to decide to come

  142. at the second message, some want to join the 3rd message, and

  143. some want to cook and eat and then come here where they don't

  144. like the food they eat there. Whatever.

  145. See, that's not the way we have to do things.

  146. The point I'm trying to make here is when the revival comes,

  147. we don't have to force it. It is not by these things.

  148. It is individuals who have to be touched by God.

  149. And you must have longing for that word of God and the longing

  150. to obey the word of God. And then there is revival.

  151. So here the revival is continuing.

  152. And then they read for 1/4 of a day and for another quarter of a

  153. day they were confessing and worshipping the Lord their God.

  154. Standing on the stairs of the Levites were Joshua Bani Kadmil,

  155. Shabanaya Bhuni, Sharabaya, Bani Kenani and they cried out with

  156. the loud watches the Lord their God.

  157. Now why do you have to cry out? Is God deaf?

  158. He can't hear you. What is this cry God business?

  159. You know so many times religion is limited to only a cerebral

  160. exercise. It is just mental.

  161. You hear the gospel, Jesus dead for you on the cross, you

  162. understand it. You are a Sinner.

  163. You need to repent, you need to ask forgiveness, ask Jesus to

  164. come into your heart, and this is all that happens in the mind.

  165. Only the mind is involved and they think they are born again.

  166. Yes, they are born again, there is no doubt about it.

  167. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Christ, or you

  168. confess about His Lord and you believe that He is the Son of

  169. God, He has come in the flesh. All those things are true, but

  170. you have to let your emotions get involved at some point,

  171. otherwise it is incomplete. You are not just a mind, you got

  172. emotions as well in the soul has emotions as well.

  173. So you need to let your emotions get involved and when you are

  174. when you are excited about what God is doing, your emotions will

  175. be involved in it. You cannot just help it.

  176. So crying out is an expression of the that part of your

  177. emotions and and that when your mind and your heart are

  178. involved, that becomes complete. I myself have been a very for a

  179. large part of my life. It was mostly cerebral.

  180. I come from a Hindu background. I hear the gospel, I believe in

  181. Jesus. And I learned that studying the

  182. word is important. So I learned to study the word

  183. and preach the word, all those things.

  184. But emotion is not something a part of me getting involved from

  185. for a long, long time. I would say for a long time and

  186. now I realize that my mistake now I want to involve my

  187. emotions, involve my emotions. So let us involve our emotions

  188. in worshipping God. You cannot worship God without

  189. involvement of your emotions. So we need to try out, we need

  190. to do all those kind of things that that required of, of it.

  191. And then these people stood up and the Levites, Joshua Cadmiel,

  192. Bani Hejbanaya, Sharabaya Hodaya Sebanaya Petahaya said stand up

  193. and praise the Lord your God who is from everlasting to

  194. everlasting. That's a command.

  195. So you have the 6-7 people standing up on the platform and

  196. they are saying, guys, stand up, praise God.

  197. It's a commandment. And the whole congregation rises

  198. up, rises up to its feet, and then you see here, Blessed be

  199. your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessings

  200. and praise. You alone are the Lord.

  201. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all the

  202. starry hosts, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all

  203. that is in them. You give life to everything, and

  204. the multitudes of heaven worship you.

  205. A general kind of a worship. But do you think all seven

  206. people are shouting the same prayer, all of them saying the

  207. same prayer? If I call 2 of you and say, now

  208. pray, are you going to say the same words?

  209. So there should be 1 bird. Somebody should take leadership.

  210. So out of the seven people, one must have loudly blessed God,

  211. praise God so others can join in.

  212. So somebody takes leadership and blessed be your glorious name.

  213. Now observe the word blessed. What is blessed?

  214. Can you bless God? How do you bless God?

  215. You know so many times you come across the psalms and in many

  216. places you use the word praise the Lord.

  217. Hallelujah is praise the Lord. Basically praise the Lord.

  218. So what do you do when you praise God?

  219. You praise God for every benefit you receive from who God is.

  220. You just thank Him for that. You praise Him.

  221. You praise Him because of who He is, but the worship is for who

  222. He is. You don't worship God for

  223. healing. You thank Him for healing.

  224. You praise Him for the healing, but worship is for His goodness.

  225. You worship Him because He is holy.

  226. He worship Him because He is merciful.

  227. You worship Him because He is gracious.

  228. You worship Him because He is infinite.

  229. You worship Him because unchanging God.

  230. You worship Him because he is so great.

  231. You worship Him because He is souring.

  232. He rules over the whole world without interfering with you

  233. willpower. That is worship.

  234. But after some time you come to an end of worshipping God.

  235. You have you run out of the new new new words to say to Him.

  236. That's the reason why when you have fellowship with Him, you

  237. will know more and more and more of His nature and your worship

  238. will not be stale. How many of us willing to eat

  239. the bread that is bought 2 weeks ago?

  240. It is stale. You don't eat it if you have

  241. enough of our, I mean, we use our common sense not to eat a

  242. stale bread. How can we bring a stale worship

  243. to God? I'm just trying to challenge,

  244. you know, So you need to have something fresh and that comes

  245. by meditating on who He is, meditating on His works,

  246. meditating on His works wonders that He's doing.

  247. You know, in the scripture we see that the earth is filled

  248. with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.

  249. As the waters cover the seas, you open your eyes, you will not

  250. see anything that does not show His glory.

  251. You look at this wood, there's no life in it.

  252. Look at a tree, there's life in it, and that tree also is

  253. praising God, and that tree is full of the glory of God.

  254. And this wood is also full of the glory of God.

  255. The dust is full of the glory of God.

  256. The air you breathe is full of the glory of God.

  257. I tell you, you cannot escape it.

  258. And atheist, he cannot escape from God in any way because he

  259. is borrowing his life from the things that are around him.

  260. He can never be proud of it and say, I can challenge God.

  261. You know, it just doesn't make any sense.

  262. So worship is a different thing and praise is a different thing.

  263. And as you praise God, you you use the words like extol him,

  264. exhort him. Why do we do all those things?

  265. There's a continuous engagement with the greatness of God, His

  266. goodness, His power. You know that is why you, you

  267. extol and you exalt him. He's highly exalted already.

  268. When you exalt him, what you're saying is you are so great, but

  269. my mind is so small, my thoughts are so small.

  270. But now I realize my thoughts are small.

  271. I want to exalt you and see you as you are the highly exalted 1.

  272. Is there a place for exalting him?

  273. Yes or no? Can I hear a strong yes?

  274. So we have to exalt him and you have to extol him.

  275. I tell you there are so many different words are used, not

  276. without a meaning or a purpose. It is to make your living a

  277. dynamic experience. A dynamic experience because you

  278. cannot be meeting this God and be a cold Christian.

  279. You can't be a called Christian, lukewarm Christian.

  280. No, because he's a consuming fire.

  281. You approach to him. You approach him like Moses has

  282. done. He looks at the burning Bush and

  283. he comes towards a burning Bush. He hears a voice saying, Moses,

  284. Moses, take off your shoes for the ground on which your

  285. standing is holy. You cannot have an encounter

  286. with God without worshipping him.

  287. You cannot have an encounter with God without praising Him.

  288. And when you do those things you will encounter God, you will

  289. encounter God. So here they are praising God.

  290. You all over the Lord you made the heavens, even the highest

  291. heavens, and all the starry hosts, the earth and all that is

  292. in it. What is He trying to say?

  293. All things visible, invisible, are created by God.

  294. God is the Creator and the He is worshipping God because He

  295. created everything. You give life to everything, and

  296. the multitudes of heaven worship you, multitudes of heaven,

  297. heaven worship you. Actually in another version it

  298. says multitude of heavens. The heaven that you see, the

  299. planetary system and the stars and then galaxies is all that

  300. you see is 1 heaven. But there's also a heaven, a

  301. second heaven, and a third heaven, the heavens He has

  302. created, the invisible heavens, even the angels that are there

  303. surrounding his throne that's in the highest of the heavens.

  304. And all that is created by God, all that is created by God.

  305. And these Levites were trying to encourage people to engage with

  306. this God. So now we see in verse 7, you

  307. are the Lord God who chose Abraham.

  308. Everybody say chose. That is just mind blowing to me.

  309. That word itself. He chose Abraham and he changed

  310. his name to Abraham. When did he do it?

  311. When Abraham believed in God, He must be 75 years old.

  312. He was in Mesopotamia, the modern day Iraq I think, and he

  313. was worshipping moon God. He was an adulator.

  314. But then God chose him and spoke to him and said come and follow

  315. me. I will take you to the land that

  316. I want to give to you and your ancestors.

  317. Did he possess the land? He never possessed the land

  318. during his lifetime. He made mistakes, He heard his

  319. voice, advice, and he had another son called Ishmael.

  320. It brought its own sorrow. And then God met him again at

  321. the age of 99. He changed his name from Abraham

  322. to Abraham, from the Prince to the father of nations.

  323. And because God changed the name, you know that the simple

  324. letter H stands for the Spirit of God, stands for the rock, the

  325. Spirit of God. He changed his name, put that

  326. Spirit of God into his name. Change of name is very powerful

  327. in the Old Testament and when God changes the name with the

  328. purpose you are Jacob, you are like a you are a thief.

  329. But now you are no longer a thief.

  330. I am changing your name to Israel the Prince.

  331. God changes the name and I made a mistake in my life when I got

  332. baptized. I think they wanted to give me a

  333. Christian name. They want to take off my Ramana

  334. and give me a Christian name. I resisted it.

  335. I said no no I am Ramana. I remain Ramana forever and

  336. after many years I realized that maybe I should change my name.

  337. Its too late now. I can't change my name now.

  338. Sometimes I prayed to God, I said God, if you tell me this is

  339. what the name I am looking, I look at you and call you by this

  340. name. I will change my name, but I

  341. have not heard anything from it yet.

  342. Maybe I should speak more vigorously about it.

  343. But I said, what is in a name anymore?

  344. There's nothing much there. It's just an ID for me.

  345. Identity. But in the scripture, name means

  346. a lot. That's the reason why we put a

  347. lot of emphasis when we give names to the children.

  348. We pray, we pray, we pray ask God, what is the name that you

  349. you have called him from eternity past before the

  350. foundation of the world. What is the name you give to the

  351. child? What did you say come out so and

  352. so very important. That's the how parents should

  353. really pray and you know, give the names to the children

  354. because that's something really good because that is going to

  355. have it is going to prophetic impact upon the children and

  356. that's how we do it. And well, so where we where we

  357. are. He chose Abraham and brought him

  358. out of her of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham.

  359. There was a reason why God chose just one man Abraham.

  360. He found his heart faithful to you.

  361. He found his heart was faithful to Yahweh.

  362. Yahweh. Sir, out of all these people, I

  363. look at this man. I can trust this man.

  364. Why? This man will instruct his

  365. children and break them up in the fear of Maine, in the fear

  366. of me. That is how he chose Abraham.

  367. Can God trust us like that to bring up our children in the

  368. fear of God? That was very simple.

  369. Faithful is just that's what he is looking for.

  370. That quality of faithfulness is being true to him, being

  371. completely sold out to him. How much is the see faithfulness

  372. is just shows only the only measuring rod with which you can

  373. measure faithfulness is your obedience.

  374. How do you measure faithfulness by can I hear it, obedience and

  375. Abraham when he was asked sacrifice your son Isaac, he did

  376. not think a second time I am I this is my you know, preachers

  377. have a lot of imagination sometimes and my imagination is

  378. he didn't even tell Sarah. God says sacrifice your son

  379. Abraham. Oh, where is my wife Sarah?

  380. I had to talk to her first. He would not have succeeded in

  381. doing what he wanted to do if he had talked to Sarah.

  382. She said. You are a mad guy.

  383. You didn't really hear God. You think you're hearing God.

  384. He's the one who promised a son. After 25 years gives you a son

  385. or after 30 years he says no sacrifice.

  386. You know, I don't think it is God.

  387. That's the reason why he never talked with Sarah.

  388. That's what I believe personally.

  389. And he next day morning took the firewood and took the servants

  390. and the Son and started walking. And the Son asked him, oh, we

  391. have the fire, we have the firewood, but where is the

  392. sacrifice? God will provide on the mount of

  393. the Lord will be provided Jehovah Jireh.

  394. So that is what it is. He was obedient to God 100%

  395. thousand percent. He was obedient to God.

  396. That's why the word faithful is in relation to obedience.

  397. And Abraham was found faithful by God.

  398. He said I know I can trust this man and he will obey me 100% and

  399. he It was a prophetic act in that it was signifying our

  400. foreshadow of Christ coming and dying for us with the Son of

  401. God. Your life when called by God, is

  402. there no private thing about your life?

  403. There's nothing private about your life.

  404. When God puts His finger on your life as it did on Abraham and

  405. change his name to Abraham, your life becomes a prophetic life.

  406. It is going to be a blessing to the future generations when He

  407. blesses you. Your children are blessed.

  408. Your grandchildren are blessed forever.

  409. They are blessed. That's what we are looking for.

  410. Sometimes we may not see very powerful demonstration of it.

  411. Even in the life of Israel. We can see that they were not

  412. always faithful to God. They did desobey God they did.

  413. Even in this situation where we are right now studying, because

  414. of the deservedience, they are sent to Assyria, they are taken

  415. over to Babylon and now from there they are come back

  416. rebuilding the temple and rebuilding the walls.

  417. They are trying to work hard to re establish that connection

  418. with God. It is never too late to connect

  419. with God. It is never too late if we have

  420. not lived consciously, if you have missed it, we can always

  421. come back to God and say I'm sorry, I want to begin again.

  422. And he will say that's fine, that's fine, I'm waiting for

  423. you. So he gave them, He made a

  424. covenant with him. Give his descendants the land of

  425. the canons, heaters, amoral, sphericides, Jebusites,

  426. girgasites. You have kept your promise

  427. because you are righteous. He has kept his promise because

  428. he's righteous. God is righteous.

  429. You worship Him because he's righteous.

  430. And now when you believe in Jesus, he gives you that

  431. righteousness, that righteousness that he has.

  432. He gives it to you for free by believing in Jesus, and he

  433. clothes you his righteousness. Amazing, isn't it?

  434. Is it amazing or not? God?

  435. You close you with righteousness.

  436. So verse 9, it says you saw the suffering of our ancestors in

  437. Egypt. You heard they cry at the Red

  438. Sea. You send signs and wonders

  439. against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of

  440. his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated

  441. them. You made a name for yourself

  442. which remains to this day. You divided the sea before them

  443. so that they pass through it on dry ground, but you hurl their

  444. pursuers into the depths like a stone into mighty waters.

  445. By day you let them with a pillar of cloud, and by night

  446. the pillar of fire, to give them light.

  447. On the way you were to take, they were to take.

  448. This is just whole of this prayer.

  449. Up to 37 verses is a long prayer recounting the nature of what

  450. God has done for these people. And somebody says, huh, so much

  451. is said, but it's not a prayer. It doesn't look like a prayer

  452. when you read all the 37 verses. It doesn't look like a prayer

  453. anywhere, but it is acknowledging, recounting the

  454. history, recounting His acts, recounting his power, display of

  455. power. When you do all that, it is like

  456. worship rising from your heart, which is pleasing to God.

  457. There should be a time when you can sit down and look back into

  458. your life and say how God helped you in different times, how God

  459. helped you in different times. You just bow your head and

  460. worship and that is one of the things God tells them is you

  461. don't forget the newer slaves in Egypt.

  462. What is he trying to say is you should not forget your past.

  463. Don't forget your past, and when you bring the past before God,

  464. it is like a sacrifice to God, a pleasing aroma to God.

  465. Oh God, I was lost, but you had mercy on me.

  466. And you say that you are bringing a sweet smelling savour

  467. to God. So here you see certain things.

  468. One of the things is that when God acted in the life of Israel,

  469. He made a name to himself and that name stands today.

  470. Do we know that our God in the Bible is the one who split the

  471. Red Sea? We know it even today.

  472. We know what He did to them stands even today.

  473. It stands for His nature, power, His glory.

  474. And then one of the things you see here is you see in this

  475. recapitulation of the story, provision of a provision and

  476. also protection and guidance. Did He guide them?

  477. How did He guide them? There was a pillar of cloud by

  478. day and pillar of fire by night. If they had to walk day and

  479. night without getting tired, he had to give them the energy.

  480. He had to give them the strength to walk.

  481. During day and night you have this pillar of cloud and that

  482. goes before them. Once it rises and lifts up, they

  483. know it's time for them to pack up and they are following the

  484. cloud. And after it is night, the cloud

  485. becomes a pillar of fire. And then they are, it is going

  486. before them, giving them the light so they can see.

  487. So you have got protection and you have got provision and you

  488. have got guidance. I have tell you it is the words

  489. will not be enough to when, when I sit down and think of God in

  490. my life, my words are not enough.

  491. Because I was born in a idolatrous family.

  492. All my ancestors were idolatrous.

  493. They have a priestly family, but they were worshipping devil and

  494. God had mercy on me. And when I sit down other day, I

  495. was thinking about it all my cousins, there may be 60 or 80

  496. of them and their children and their children, children.

  497. I never heard even one became a Christian until now in this 4050

  498. years. So my heart went out and said,

  499. God, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you because you chose me

  500. as you chose Abraham. You have blessed me as you

  501. blessed Abraham. And I tell you this is just

  502. amazing. Everyone of us must have this

  503. encounter with God. We must be able to sit down and

  504. give glory to God for his hand on our lives, how he chose us.

  505. And Jesus himself says in you have not chosen me, but I have

  506. chosen you. And that is in John 15.

  507. And that's true, we don't choose God, but He chooses us first

  508. because it shows us we believe in Him.

  509. Sometimes the devil will come in the way and stop us from

  510. believing in Jesus. Even though he has chosen us, He

  511. has given us the light of the gospel of Christ and we

  512. sometimes can face the devil and we have to tell him.

  513. You will not ruin my life anymore.

  514. You will not say anything in my life.

  515. I silence your voice in the name of Jesus.

  516. I am running to Jesus. I am running to Jesus and you

  517. will not stop me and go and run to Jesus and hug Him and say I

  518. am really sorry, take me back, please take me back.

  519. Put again that protection over me as I read it from Psalm 1:30

  520. in the morning. He is holding us in the palm of

  521. His hand. He is covering from above, from

  522. before, from behind. This knowledge is too wonderful.

  523. This protection, this provision, this guidance is too wonderful

  524. for words. And one of the things that you

  525. see here is verse 15. In the hunger you gave them

  526. bread from heaven, and in the thirst you brought them water

  527. from the rock. I want to make it on this few

  528. words and then stop it there for today.

  529. The rest of the chapter you read for yourself.

  530. If I still feel inspired, maybe I'll cover it next week, but

  531. otherwise we'll think that it is over for this chapter is over.

  532. But he gave them bread from heaven and split the rock and

  533. Prince their thirst. Now we think it is just one

  534. event that happened in Israel. It's just a miracle.

  535. It's OK, He made some provision. Praise God, it's not just over.

  536. After 1500 years, nearly 2000 years, Jesus comes on the scene

  537. and says you think Moses gave you bread from heaven, You think

  538. Moses spit the rock for you to be to drink water.

  539. But I tell you, it is my Father heavenly Father who has given

  540. you the bread. And he said I am the bread of

  541. life. I am the bread of life who has

  542. come down from heaven. So who did the Israel feed on?

  543. They were feeding on Christ. In Corinthians word Paul says

  544. they drank from the rock that followed them.

  545. The rock was following them. When they were thirsty, it

  546. opened up and Jesus himself, he allowed his body to be broken up

  547. for you and me so that you can drink from that rock that split

  548. for us. He is pursuing you.

  549. He is following you. Even when I was standing there

  550. during the worship, I was feeling a heavy hand of the

  551. enemy on my life. Myself, I have my I was not able

  552. to focus but I remembered the bread and the wine.

  553. I remembered how He gave His body and the blood for us.

  554. That one second everything lifted up.

  555. Everything lifted up. I start praising God, I tell you

  556. can go through any difficult time.

  557. I'm not saying you, we are believers.

  558. We will be protected from difficult times.

  559. No, we will go through it, but he is with us.

  560. But the, the, the provision of the communion is to overcome

  561. your difficulties. The provision of communion is to

  562. turn against the enemy who is pursuing you, oppressing you.

  563. That provision is given to us. We we can do it anytime in our

  564. own homes if you want to. Nobody can stop you from having

  565. communion in your own house. But it should not become a

  566. regular thing where it has no meaning.

  567. It has to be approached with reverence.

  568. It should make a sick an impact on you.

  569. Even you know, so many people talk about Smith Wigglesworth

  570. who used to have communion on an everyday basis.

  571. So a lot of Christians do come in and come in and everyday

  572. morning, evening, afternoon, they keep it on the table ready,

  573. take it and eat it. Thank you, partake in your body

  574. and your blood. But look at the life.

  575. Is anything changing in their life?

  576. Nothing changes when you have communion meaningfully and give

  577. glory to Him, worship him, praise him.

  578. Power will be released into your life to destroy the yoke.

  579. Power will be released to destroy the yoke.

  580. Communion is not something that is you.

  581. You know there are people, there was a theologian called Swingley

  582. and he is the one who who came up with the idea that they were

  583. just symbols, emblems. He said oh you just, it is just

  584. nothing. Its just symbolizes his body and

  585. the blood, but nothing more than just remembering that he died

  586. for you. But it was a Luther who was

  587. there and he said no, the Catholic Church was saying no,

  588. it really becomes a body and the blood.

  589. They are going to A1 extreme. That bread is still bread.

  590. When you eat it, it doesn't become flesh.

  591. That juice does not become turn into blood.

  592. So there should be a right way of understanding the whole

  593. thing. The right way is the right way

  594. of understanding the communities.

  595. When you partake in it by faith, at the point of partaking, it

  596. becomes to you like flesh. It becomes you like blood and

  597. the power of the flesh that's broken for you on the cross, the

  598. power of the blood that shed for you on the cross gets released

  599. into your life. That cloud has to lift from your

  600. mind. That cloud, the heaviness of the

  601. hand of enemy must lift from you because you're partnering in the

  602. body and the bread of Christ. And a few times God had been

  603. merciful to me and explained the importance of communion to me.

  604. He gave me revelation of it. But the first revelation comes

  605. to Abraham when he went against 5 kings with his own men and

  606. with the local leaders. He went against them and wore

  607. upon them set free lot and all that belonged to him.

  608. When he was coming back, he met with the king of Salem,

  609. Melchizedek, and he brought out to him the bread and the wine,

  610. and he gave 10% of everything he had.

  611. He gave it to king of Salem Melchizedek.

  612. That was the first occurrence of bread and and the wine being

  613. given, which is symbolic of Jesus himself and Jesus is in

  614. the order of milk is a high priest for us and He himself is

  615. a sacrifice. He allowed his body broken for

  616. us. He allowed his blood to be shed

  617. for us. I tell you, words will not be

  618. enough to understand this mystery.

  619. Its a mystery. How God can first become flesh

  620. is a mystery, and how he can die is more difficult for us to

  621. understand. But I tell you, its the faith of

  622. the heart. When you believe in the heart,

  623. the truth becomes yours. Light shines into the dark part

  624. of your heart and you understand.

  625. And you say, oh God, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you.

  626. I don't deserve it, but you died for me.

  627. I praise you for that. Thank you for your life.

  628. So today when we partake in the communion, I want you to

  629. encounter this Jesus. I want you to encounter the

  630. power of his death. I want you to encounter the

  631. power of resurrection. I want you to encounter the

  632. light to shine in your dark part of your heart.

  633. I want you to experience the life of God.

  634. Because when you partake in the body and the blood, you're

  635. partaking in the life of Jesus. You're not partaking in the

  636. piece of bread or a bit of juice.

  637. No, you are parting in the life of Christ.

  638. It is a mystery, but it is open to faith, to experience.

  639. So what we are going to do is we will, we will get a piece of it

  640. and I will pray for the communion elements.

  641. Then you can go there and pick up a small chalet or whatever is

  642. the cup there. You pick it up and take a piece

  643. of bread, come back to your seat and we will partake together.

  644. We have two places, one on the back, one on the front.

  645. So what? Whatever is nearer, you can grab

  646. it and you can come back and then we will pray about it and

  647. we will partake in it. The elements are there for you.

  648. You can go and grab it now. Thank you Jesus.

  649. Rikka Ravarana saktareeni mahasarasthekareeni sarana mande

  650. kastarani. Mahara Sastarani Cross, we

  651. praise you, We praise you, We praise you, We praise you,

  652. Father God, We thank you for your heart itself is split when

  653. you're allowed your son to die on the cross.

  654. And we thank you, Holy Spirit, for you are there with him on

  655. the cross. We praise you, we praise you.

  656. We praise you, Father, Son, the Holy Spirit, for the way you

  657. have given yourself to US. 100%, 100% you've given yourself to

  658. us. I worship you, Father, I bow

  659. before you. We thank you for the broken body

  660. and shed bread of your Son Jesus, so that we may be saved.

  661. We worship you, we praise you. And now, Father, as you partake

  662. in it, let the power of the Holy Ghost enter our spirit, soul and

  663. body. I pray that healing will come

  664. where somebody needs healing and deliverance will come to those

  665. who need deliverance in the name of Jesus.

  666. By the power of the bread of Jesus, by the power of the bread

  667. of Jesus, by the power of the bread of Jesus, I decree healing

  668. and deliverance in the name of Jesus.

  669. Thank you Lord, as we partake in it.

  670. Thankfully, Holy Spirit, yes, I thank you Holy Spirit, you are

  671. right now ministering to people. I thank you Holy Spirit, for you

  672. are making them know that you are there with them in their

  673. heart, in their bodies. They can feel your presence

  674. right now because when they partake is going to be partaking

  675. in the life of Christ. We praise you, we praise you, we

  676. praise you. Thank you, Lord, bless this

  677. participation. In the name of Jesus we ask,

  678. Amen. Let's party.

  679. Let's give thanks. Again.

  680. We thank you, Father, for the privilege have given us to have

  681. faith in what Jesus did on the cross for us.

  682. We worship you, we praise you. We thank you for the life that

  683. is entering into us. We celebrate it, and we rejoice

  684. in you, and we praise you, and we worship you.

  685. We honor you. We extol your name.

  686. We exalt your name for who you are, the Compassionate 1.

  687. Merciful One, goodness full of goodness.

  688. We praise you all for the grace you've given us to believe in

  689. your Son Jesus, and to partake in his body and the blood.

  690. We thank you for every blessing that's pursuing us because you

  691. partake in it. Remember particularly our

  692. Father, some of the people who are not well in the church, I

  693. pray for them now. In the name of Jesus, put your

  694. hand upon them, touch them. Those who are travelling, may

  695. Angel be with them and protect them.

  696. We praise you, we praise you, we praise you Father, we give you

  697. glory, honor and praise. We bless your name in Jesus

  698. mighty name. We ask and everybody says Amen,

  699. Amen. Thanks for joining us at Omega.
