You've tuned in to a mega church.
-
We are people hungry to encounter God through worship
-
and His Word, being witnesses to the world around us.
-
We pray this teaching blesses you and trust God will reveal
-
Himself. To you in a new way today and.
-
If you need prayer for healing or breakthrough, Want to find
-
out more about Omega? Head to our website or Facebook
-
page through the links below. We take a little break this week
-
from the book of Nehemiah. That's because as I was praying
-
the Lord put in my heart something a kind of a revelation
-
about the life of David and about the spiritual warfare.
-
So you know, sometimes you chase a rabbit hole what you call
-
chasing as a rabbit hole. I did that so ended up with this
-
passage. So the first time in chapter 17,
-
when you look, when you read how many of you are read it at least
-
1/2. That's that's good.
-
Congratulations. Yeah.
-
When you read through the whole chapter, you see the name of
-
Goliath only two or three times. I would say three times.
-
And initially it comes up only two times.
-
Verse 7, verse 43, one more time somewhere.
-
So but the name of David comes up 30 plus times, then the whole
-
story is not Golad anywhere. He is there, but he's called.
-
He himself calls it. Am I not a Philistine?
-
He calls himself a Philistine. He doesn't want to have identity
-
of his own. Am I not Golaya?
-
Am I not 9 foot tall? Don't have this, this, this,
-
this armor that I'm wearing? No, no, no.
-
He identify himself as a Philistine, one who is opposed
-
to God. The Philistines were opposed to
-
Israel, the enemies for decades and decades.
-
They just fought Israel. That's because God told them, I
-
am going to give you the land of the, you know, all the
-
Jebusites, The he was all kinds of hides, but seven different
-
nations. They did not drive them out.
-
And one of them is the Philistines.
-
They did not drive them out because they failed to drive
-
them out. They remain like a thorn in
-
their side, in their flesh, poking the mall the time for
-
decades. So sometimes that is
-
representing Christian life. When you are saved, you are not
-
100% delivered. You use certain unconfessed
-
sins, unconfessed issues. The history remains like a thorn
-
in your flesh, like the Philistines and keeps goading
-
you all the time. I am just wondering about this
-
whole concept. How does it happen?
-
How does it happen? Because sometimes when we hear
-
the gospel, it is not the full gospel.
-
We don't encounter holy God, we only encounter encounter a
-
merciful God, a gracious God. We talk about mercy and grace,
-
not about holiness of God. So we see people who are living
-
together, even though they are believers, they are trying to
-
meet people, live together, all kinds.
-
I am coming across every day all the time.
-
I wonder what kind of salvation they have.
-
Will not they will be in their in their body and soul if they
-
are compromising with sin because they are playing with
-
the holy God. They are playing with the holy
-
God. And that is the main problem in
-
the church today, all over the world, not just one church
-
everywhere, people forget God is holy and that's why there's
-
defeat in their life. So the name Philistine is used
-
25 times in this chapter, 25 times he is reduced to a
-
Philistine, A nameless entity, a just a Philistine.
-
And when, when we when you think about it, you know that's not
-
the story of a Christian. When you come to Christ, when
-
you come to God, your name should be heard again and again
-
because you believe in him and you do exploits for him.
-
But sometimes we leave like Philistine, our name is reduced.
-
No one hears our name because we compromise sin and devil.
-
And then these people were living in complete oppression.
-
Who Israelites? If you go backward sometime in I
-
think in chapter 13 verse 22, there was a battle between Saul
-
and his army, the Israelites and the Philistines.
-
But what does say 1326? On the day of battle, not a
-
soldier with Saul and Jonathan had a sword or spear in his
-
hand. Only Saul and his son Jonathan
-
had them. Is it a good picture?
-
Only King Saul and Jonathan have a sword to fight and no one else
-
has anything. Nothing.
-
Now this is purposefully the Philistines have oppressed
-
Israel so that they cannot have any of this armor or ambition or
-
swords or Spears. No.
-
Secondly, Philistines were having advanced technology.
-
They were able to mould, they were able to melt the metals and
-
cast them into different kinds of things, and they were black
-
spits. But these people, the
-
Israelites, had to travel across the border, go into Philistines
-
area and then they had to have their plows and mattox, you
-
know, axes and sickles, even the gold, you know the stick with
-
this pointy thing in the print, you want to poke the bull so it
-
will turn the right way or the left way.
-
You have to use the goat. Even that if the needs to be
-
sharpened, they had to, they had no one to do it in the nation of
-
Israel. They have to go to Philistine
-
area. This is a sad story.
-
And today the church is like that in many parts.
-
We are not equipped to fight the spiritual enemy, the devil, all
-
the time. Christ has paid the price.
-
He struck the head of the enemy, He crushed the Satan, crushed
-
the devil, crushed that serpent his head and overcome.
-
But the Church is living as if they have no ammunition, no
-
armor, no weapons, nothing. Jesus has disarmed, disparities,
-
powers, rules of darkness. He disarmed so that they will
-
not have any, no weapons they have.
-
They have no weapons. He stripped them of the weapons.
-
That is what Christ has done. But the church is living in
-
fear. Church is living in fear.
-
So now what is happening here is I'm not going into the whole
-
chapter 17 just want to focus on these few verses.
-
First thing that you see here is I mean David goes against
-
Goliath and what does he carry with him in verse 4948?
-
Let's read from 48. As the Philistine moved closer
-
to attack him, they would ran quickly toward the battle line
-
to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking
-
out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the
-
forehead. The stone sank into his forehead
-
and he fell face down on the ground.
-
Everybody say forehead, What is it?
-
This area, forehead, very important area.
-
When I started studying this forehead, it just struck me that
-
the high priest used to wear a golden plate on his turban which
-
says Holy to the Lord. It will cover his forehead, holy
-
to the Lord. And when the high priest is
-
putting on that plate saying holy to the Lord, he is
-
consecrating himself to represent their sins before God.
-
He is carrying the sins of the people when he says he's setting
-
himself apart as a holy to the Lord.
-
And that is what Jesus did. He became the high priest,
-
taking our sins on Him. Secondly, the forehead is the
-
place where the enemy is going. In the book of Ezekiel, before
-
the judgment came, God said to an Angel, go to Jerusalem and I
-
put a mark on everybodys forehead who is vexed by the sin
-
in the city, in Jerusalem. If we are going to be unhappy
-
with sin that's in the community, in the city, in the
-
nation, then we, you are going to receive that mark.
-
You know in the book of Ezekiel it says put a Tau.
-
Tau is the last letter of Hebrew letter Tau, which is looks like
-
an X of English letter X. So there is a mark of X put on
-
their forehead. There is a mark.
-
And Jeremiah says you people are looking like a brazen, shameless
-
prostitute because you are putting the mark on your
-
forehead. What?
-
What do people see? That's the question is what does
-
devil see? People may not be able to see,
-
but devil sees some. Once there was a man who came
-
into the church and the pastor was able to look at that man and
-
call him out and say, I see bottles on your face.
-
You are a drunkard, come out and God want to say, Tiffany, the
-
point is human beings cannot see what is on your forehead.
-
God sees and the devil sees. What does the devil see in your
-
forehead? Does it say set apart, holy to
-
the Lord? If it is not holy to the Lord,
-
it's going to be something else, something else, which is not a
-
very pleasant thing. So we should be set apart for
-
God. So what is happening here?
-
When Goliath was coming, he was completely covered with the
-
armor. He had a helmet that was
-
weighing certain kilos and then he had a coat of mail, that's
-
what it is called, coat of mail that is covering his whole chest
-
and everything, abdomen area and all that, so that no sword can
-
hit and kill him on the body. What was the weight of coat of
-
mail? 57 kilos?
-
How many if that bakota melt on you will you get up from sitting
-
down when you are you able to stand up?
-
And this guy had completely covered.
-
He had Greaves on his shins, TBL bone covering the TBL bone, the
-
calf muzzle from the front and the back, and he had footwear.
-
And then he was carrying a javelin and a spear and a spear
-
was the beam. It was like a wooden beam of a
-
Weaver, so strong and so big and weighing certain number of
-
kilos. And the javel, his head was
-
about 8 kilos. This is a massive guy and his
-
sword must have weighed certain kilos, maybe 10 kilos or more.
-
And when he is walking, probably you will feel earthquake under
-
his feet. He was completely covered and
-
protected and he's a warrior. And now here is a young boy,
-
David, who was a shepherd boy basically was keeping taking a
-
shepherd sheep and he was sent by the father to care for the
-
brothers just to get a news of them that they are doing well in
-
the battle. And that battle has been going
-
on for more than 40 days. Really speaking.
-
David arrived on the 40th day bringing food for his brothers
-
and gives it to the quartermaster.
-
And then he meets the brothers. Hey, everything OK?
-
Everything OK? And the brothers get angry.
-
Hey, why did you come here? I know you with your intention.
-
You want to really come here and to see the battle.
-
That's why you came here. Who?
-
Who did you leave the few sheep with?
-
You're so careless. You're lazy, irresponsible, all
-
kinds of things. This poor boy was hearing.
-
He said. What have I done?
-
What have I done? I haven't done anything wrong.
-
I just came with food for you guys just to take the news that
-
you are doing well to the father.
-
Probably this is again, I'm saying, dude, probably what was
-
going on in the brother's mind is that anointing that took
-
place when Samuel came to their city or to their town, to
-
Bethlehem. And he calls for a sacrifice and
-
he calls for the elders, calls Jesse and his sons.
-
And then he, he, he wanted to anoint the next king because
-
already Saul had disqualified himself by disobedience.
-
And then he, he looks at the elder one, eldest one.
-
Wow, he's so handsome, he's so tall, he looks so powerful and
-
he certainly should be the king. And God said don't look at on
-
the outside because God looks at the heart, not on the outside
-
appearance. And he is, I am not selecting
-
him. The second one, the third one,
-
seventh one is done. And then he said, do you have
-
any more sons? I have one more David who takes
-
care of the sheep. He said hurry up, bring him
-
until he comes. We are not going to do the
-
sacrifice. And when he comes, the word uses
-
his ready face. Face was ready, pinkish with
-
youth, and he was so beautiful, rounded and the Holy Spirit says
-
to him, rise up and annoy, but he is the one, because he is a
-
man after my own heart. And Brother Bashar remembered
-
that you got anointed, but I was looked at, not God did not favor
-
me, but he favored you. But you are here with the wrong
-
intention. You are in the wrong place.
-
You are in the wrong place. You are not supposed to be here.
-
But David was in the right place.
-
He was in the right place because God's anointing is upon
-
him and the story is going to change.
-
And then what happens is he ran towards the Philistine, not with
-
the sword, not with the javelin, not with the spear, but he was
-
running towards him with just a staff in his hand.
-
And that guy looks over and says, hey, are you coming to me
-
with just a staff in your hand? Do you think I'm a dog to chase
-
me away by a stick? He is a dog.
-
He's a dog. Whenever I see dog in my dream,
-
I know it's a devil. He's a dog and some people may.
-
Please don't be offended. Those of you who love dog and
-
keep in your home, I'm not talking against you, but
-
spiritually it is spiritually for me, I have never liked dogs.
-
Maybe that's my that's how I am wired.
-
And when I see in my dream a dog, I know something bad is
-
going to happen. So I pray and even after I
-
praying that goes something goes wrong and again I have to pray
-
to fight the consequences. That's how I have learned to
-
understand what a dog is to me. So here Philistine was a dog and
-
he was an enemy of God anyway. He was heart was against set
-
against Yahweh, the Lord of the Israelites.
-
His heart was set against it. And he says, oh, you're coming
-
with a stick, You think I'm a dog?
-
And then he took this, that 5 stones that he had taken, the
-
pebbles. Yeah, the pebbles that he
-
gathered from the valley of Elah, there must be a stream
-
flowing there. And from the stream he picked up
-
five smooth stones. He only needed one, probably
-
just about. He must have practiced the sling
-
multiple times, thousands of times, thousands of times that
-
he can swing it and hit a target without missing a hair.
-
Why do I put the Why would I bring the concept of hair before
-
the story of David? In the book of Judges?
-
You have 700 Benjamites who were able to sling us a stone and not
-
miss a hair. You put a hair on the wall and
-
you give him a sling, he can goes and hits that hair.
-
Sharp vision. I was just studying this sharp
-
vision thing again. We are, we only know 6 by 620,
-
by 20, you know those kind of things.
-
Some people can have 6 by 5. What somebody will see at 5 feet
-
distance, they can see at six feet distance.
-
And if you ask Seema, she can see the aircraft flying in the
-
air and tell it is Pan Am or whatever it is Jetstar or she
-
has a sharp eye. And that is the same kind of I
-
said the demand for the pilots before they are recruited
-
because they need to have the sharp eyesight.
-
So here is this man who was able to just took one stone and he
-
said, you know, what is the secret of David?
-
David's victory? What is the secret of David's
-
victory? Ask your neighbor, what is the
-
secret of David's victory? It is not ability to throw the
-
stone, is not his ability to any of these things.
-
He is the secret of David. He is his understanding of God,
-
who God is. He is the Holy One of Israel,
-
and God is a God of covenant. He called Abraham, and now he is
-
a descendant of Abraham, and he has such a great concept of God,
-
such a wonderful, exalted view of God, and he thinks that that
-
guy Goliath is defying, challenging the armies of the
-
living God. All these thousands of soldiers,
-
they have no such concept. Neither the King Saul has that
-
concept, nor the Abner, his commander had the concept, nor
-
the soldier had the concept that they are the army of the living
-
God. They have forgotten it.
-
They have forgotten it. But David knows that he is part
-
of the army of the living God. His God is a living God.
-
Secondly, David had experienced God's faithfulness in his life.
-
How did you do it? He's taking as a sheep.
-
He's always, every time now and then he'll be counting the sheep
-
probably if he has 50 sheep, 123456049 Where's the one more?
-
Where's one more? Oh, I see that lion is taking
-
that one and running after. He goes after it and then stops
-
it and the lion says, oh, I'm losing my meal.
-
It turns against Goliath, sorry against David, and David grabs
-
it by its mane and pulls it and then strikes it and kills his
-
bare hands once, twice, many times, probably we don't know
-
how many times. And he has rescued the sheep
-
from the mouth of the lion and the from the mouth of the bear.
-
He has done it several times. And he says, I know that my God,
-
I know that my God who has rescued me from the mouth of the
-
lion and the bear is going to rescue me from this Philistine.
-
So the private victory will give you confidence for public
-
victory. Everybody say private victory
-
gives confidence for public victory.
-
Do you? Have you killed a lion and a
-
bear? What I mean is figuratively.
-
If you have victories in the past, they will prepare you for
-
victory in the present. If you have victories in the
-
past, they will prepare you for victory in the future.
-
If you are not seeing the power of God in the past, you are not
-
going to see it now. You are not going to see it now.
-
It begins from the time you believe in Jesus.
-
It begins. You will, you will come across a
-
lion, you will come across a bear, and you will have to
-
defeat them. And when you defeat them, when
-
the Goliath comes on the scene, you know he is your definite
-
target and you are going to triumph over him.
-
And you have that confidence to say I am going to kill you.
-
I am going to kill the army of people behind you, everyone of
-
them. Your flesh will be given as a
-
foot to the birds of the air. Where does that confidence come
-
from? Knowing God.
-
That confidence comes from knowing God.
-
And when you know your God, then you know your destiny is going
-
to open up. But many Christians don't want
-
to know their God. They have no time to study the
-
scripture. They don't have time to obey
-
him. They have no time to pursue him.
-
They have no time to hear his voice.
-
They have no time for it. They want to do something
-
religious. What's the use of it?
-
I heard a joke about it long time ago.
-
There's a flight that is taking going in the over the Atlantic
-
and then the pilot says 0. Everything is going good guys,
-
enjoy your time, everything is fine.
-
Only to come back after a couple of hours and say, hey, not
-
everything is good. One engine has failed so people
-
started becoming uncomfortable in their seats.
-
You know what next? Don't worry, we have one more
-
engine that will take us through.
-
Then after 30 minutes he comes back again and says this, I have
-
bad news. The second engine also failed.
-
So all the people started shouting in the aircraft.
-
What were they shouting? Some are praying loud.
-
Oh, God have mercy on us. All kinds of things was going on
-
and somebody shouted do something religious, do
-
something religious. So 111 man got up, take off his
-
hat, started taking collecting money from the people.
-
We are not here to do something religious.
-
Let's not do something religious.
-
When you read the Bible, let there be awe in your heart that
-
says I am handling the word of the living God.
-
I am hearing His voice in the Scriptures.
-
And when you approach that word with that kind of a sanctity,
-
that kind of a high view of the Word of God, He will speak.
-
It will not go unattended. Call because you have
-
expectation that He will speak. OK, I have to be quick.
-
There's so much more to say and then what happened is for it.
-
Let us come back to the for it again.
-
King Uzaya. Yeah, it is for it is the right
-
pronunciation. Do not worry about it.
-
You have any different difficulty, just check with the
-
advanced learner, Oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary.
-
So British pronunciation for it. So King Guzziah, he wanted to
-
take over the responsibility of a priest.
-
He wanted to offer fire. The incense.
-
He takes the golden censor, puts scores of fire on it, puts the
-
incense and offer it to God. Job of a priest, he wanted to
-
take it on himself. And the priest come and say, hey
-
thing, you cannot do these things, don't stop me, I am
-
going to do it. And then suddenly what happens?
-
Leprosy broke out on his forehead.
-
Leprosy broke out instantly. And then the priest look at him
-
and say leprosy is on your forehead.
-
Run before we evict you, before we throw you out.
-
You have become unholy. You have become sinful because
-
of the leprosy. And he ran away from the temple
-
of God. Ran away from the temple of God.
-
He remains secluded. When you read the book of when
-
Isaiah, you will see 2 kings present.
-
One is himself. He had made a separate building
-
for himself, lived there as a leper, but his son took over as
-
a king. So you have two kings at the
-
same time during the time until he died.
-
So this is a judgment of God S the foreign represents.
-
Either you are in favor with God or you are under judgment of
-
God. If the favor is not there,
-
judgment is there. You cannot have any anywhere in
-
between, nowhere in between. And you know our experience
-
nowadays, whenever you are praying for people, sometimes we
-
see this in, in even among the Kiwi people and you know,
-
African, Chinese, we see Shiva, an Indian deity or devil.
-
We see him and his strong point is between the brows.
-
The strong point he, he thinks he has got a third eye.
-
And we put our finger in that place and say in the name of
-
Jesus, he's destroying a third eye.
-
Yeshiva come out now. And he goes, he goes and the
-
Philistines this guy Goliath had only 1 little space exposed that
-
was the forehead helmet is there on the sides is covered male of
-
coat of mail covering his chest. He got everything covering his
-
hands and then the feet and thighs and the chains and
-
everything is covered except this area little bit exposed.
-
And David takes the aim and releases the stone.
-
He goes and hits him there. How does it happen?
-
That stone, when you practice it quite well, can go at a speed of
-
100 mph. How much?
-
100 miles. And that is enough to crack the
-
bone of the skull. So it sank into the stone, sank
-
into his forehead between the eyes, and he fell face down.
-
Everybody say face down. When he fell face down, two
-
things are there. 1, he is defeated. 2 He is submitting.
-
Defeat and submission happens in one go.
-
That's what Jesus did when he crushed the head of serpent on
-
the cross. By his death he has defeated and
-
he has put the forces of darkness under submission to the
-
church. He did it for you, said to your
-
neighbor. He did it for you.
-
So the point is we need to know that you're not operating from
-
fear. You're not operating because
-
you're going to lose the battle because the battle is already
-
won. The battle is already won.
-
Say battle is already won. And when you have, when you are
-
fighting from that perspective, you're not going to lose.
-
You're not going to lose. When you fight from that
-
perspective, you're not going to lose.
-
And that is what the church has to know.
-
Every Christian has to know that you are on the winning side, not
-
on the losing side, not on not only winning side.
-
It is already won. It is the past tense. 2000 years
-
ago it's done. So we should have confidence to
-
tell the devil come out. It's very, very important.
-
Now the devil also uses the same technique.
-
He puts a mark on the forehead for those who belong to him.
-
In the end times there is going to be people who will receive a
-
mark on their hand or on the forehead.
-
And devil is doing exactly what God is trying to do.
-
And God says in the Book of Revelation, we read the Book of
-
Revelation, He says put a mark on those who belong to me.
-
So my question is, what is the mark on your forehead?
-
Does it say you belong to God? Does it say you belong to the
-
devil? There is no middle ground.
-
There is no middle ground. We need to be very clear in our
-
mind. We must receive the mark of God.
-
When you, when you are a child of God, God has mocked you
-
already. When you believe in Jesus by
-
releasing or pouring out His Holy Spirit into you, He mocked
-
you with His Holy Spirit. That is marking #1 and when you
-
are faithfully walking with God, He puts a mark on your head so
-
that they will cannot touch you. They will cannot touch you.
-
Do you have the mark of God on your for it?
-
They will cannot touch you. We need to be very sure.
-
This is the secret of David. I am not going into the battle
-
and all the fight and all those kind of things, but that is what
-
it is. Secondly, I start, I decided a
-
little bit about the stone. The Hebrew word used is eben.
-
Everybody say eben E BEM eben means stone.
-
Now this Pebble, was it made by humans?
-
Have you put the stick in there and rub it on a stone, make it
-
shiny, round and smooth? To know it's been coming down
-
from wherever it is flowing down the hill somewhere and the
-
stream is flowing and is water has been flowing over it for
-
decades and centuries and it has worn out the big stone into a
-
Pebble, small Pebble. What I'm trying to say here is
-
not made by human hands, not made by human hands, but it's
-
good enough to be a projectile to be used in a sling.
-
Because David was an experienced person, he could pick the right
-
kind of a stone that is going to achieve the purpose.
-
He picked up just 5 stones. Interestingly, there were only
-
apart from Goliath, there were four more giants during his time
-
and he killed I think one more or two more and others killed
-
other, other, other time during the lifetime of Goliath.
-
All five were killed. He was a forerunner of a giant
-
Slayer. He became a giant Slayer so that
-
others could become giant slayers.
-
The point is faith to conquer is I am looking for that word
-
contagious. When you see somebody winning,
-
when you see somebody throwing out the demons, then you get the
-
confidence that you can do it. We prayed for a young man last
-
week and another young man also was with with him.
-
So I told him after some time, OK, put out your hands, I impart
-
to you power to throw out the devil from the lives of the
-
people. And now you pray for that guy.
-
And when he prayed he was manifesting and the devil came
-
out, the spirit came out, we went to America, then we prayed
-
for a couple there and prayed for them for deliverance and
-
they understood the process. I told them, see this process
-
that we do for with you is two ways.
-
One to set you free, 2 to train you both in one go.
-
And now we hear that they were praying for somebody else to
-
set, set the person free and he was manifesting and that they
-
were able to cast out the demon. So this is what it is very
-
important thing is Omega knows how to do this thing in a simple
-
way. We do not have one more book,
-
one more volume like this. You have to read this big book
-
so you can cast out demons. No, it's very simple.
-
In the name of Jesus. OK, cool.
-
So we, you can see, you can first you experience it.
-
We can pray with you. Whatever problem you have.
-
You may say I do not have any problem.
-
Let us talk about it very soon. Then let us see if there is a
-
problem, then come, we are going to help you anytime, all the
-
time. Rather so the stone is not made
-
as human hands. That is, much before Daniel saw
-
a stone that is not cut with human hands, and a small stone
-
come and hit the golden statue, golden head, silver chest, you
-
know all different metals, and then fetal mixture of steel and
-
clay, it come and hit on the feet, and the whole statue was
-
evaporated, became dust and the wind blew it away, and this
-
small stone became a big mountain filling the whole
-
world. The word used is Eben is the
-
same ebon, same stone, what appeared like a small Pebble in
-
the hand of king. I mean, David has become a stone
-
that is not cut with human hands and that came and hit the golden
-
statue, which has erased every succeeding Kingdom, its impact
-
because it becomes a Kingdom by itself.
-
It occupies the whole world. God's Kingdom has come in Jesus
-
Christ. He is the stone.
-
Everybody say he is the stone and devil comes to tempt him and
-
says, hey, you are hungry, you didn't eat for 40 days.
-
Turn this stone into bread. He is the stone and He is the
-
bread. Where is the necessity to turn
-
stone into bread? Am I communicating here?
-
He is the stone, he is the bread.
-
There's no need to change. And the same Daniel who saw a
-
stone uncut his human hands come and strike the statue and
-
destroy it, was thrown into the lion's den.
-
And when they threw him into the lion's den, they urged that king
-
to come and place a stone on the mouth of The Cave thing where
-
the lions then and seal it with the seal it so that nobody can
-
save him. Nobody can secretly come in the
-
middle of the night and save him, as if the lions need many
-
hours to kill him. Foolish fellows, but they put a
-
seal on it. And the Jesus Christ of
-
Nazareth, when he was, when he died on the cross, when he was
-
put in the tomb, they made sure again on the stone they put a
-
seal, Roman seal. In the first case they don't
-
want to leave him. In the second case, they don't
-
want to come, don't want him to come back to life, or his body
-
will go missing. When you are committed to this
-
kind of a work, I am telling you, when you are partaking in
-
the ministry of God, when you are partaking in the work of
-
God, you are going to experience, taste some of
-
Christ's sufferings. And that's what Daniel did.
-
He not only saw the stone victorious, but he also saw the
-
stone become a stone to finish him off.
-
But God brought him out. God brought him out.
-
If you are a servant of God, if you are a son of God, a daughter
-
of God, your life is not ending in the hands of devil.
-
No, he doesn't have a final say. You have the final say and your
-
say is final on devil because Jesus has said already.
-
The question of all questions is, do you know who you are?
-
If you know who you are, you are going to be different.
-
You are going to be different. So the question again here is
-
this about the switching. In my mind, we are going to see
-
in the Book of Revelation chapter 22, verse 4, they will
-
see His face and His name will be on their foreheads.
-
We are going to see Him, Jesus Christ, and we are going to bear
-
His name on a forehead. Is there something to rejoice?
-
Is there something to rejoice? Can I hear Hallelujah?
-
We are the victorious ones and we are going to bear His name on
-
our heads. When you look at Him, His name
-
is honored and He has many names.
-
Who? The lion of tribe of Judah,
-
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, has many names.
-
One of the names no one knows except himself.
-
That name which no one knows, only Jesus knows, that name will
-
also come on here for it. I tell the whole week.
-
I had a great time, you know, meditating on the Scripture.
-
It's just fantastic experience. I am telling you every day I
-
would tell something new to John.
-
I said, did you come up with this idea?
-
I said yeah, as praying. This is what I see.
-
This is what I understand. I tell you when you, when you
-
read the Scripture, the Holy Spirit will teach the Scripture
-
and it is going to be different. You will not be the same.
-
You will not be the same. Some people are groaning to come
-
to the Bible study. Oh, these questions are hard.
-
It is difficult for us to read, difficult for us to understand,
-
can't answer these questions. I tell you, you approach it
-
differently. This is the word of the living
-
God is going to change you, empower you, and when you come
-
with that attitude, that word will light up.
-
There will be light coming from the Scriptures will hit you on
-
your head that your understanding will come.
-
That is what we want everybody experience the ministry of the
-
Holy Spirit through the written word is what we are wanting to
-
happen in the Bible study. I tell you, there's life
-
transforming power there. It's not tedious, laborious
-
drudgery. No, that's not what we are
-
promoting. We are promoting encounter with
-
the living Word. So you see here, 1 cannot have
-
revelation without being involved in God's plan.
-
He had revelation, Dan had revelation of Jesus, Son of Man
-
and he was thrown into the lion's den and sealed that his
-
participation in Christ. Same way there will be
-
tribulation for his namesake. When you are part of it, you are
-
going to go through it. When you are part of it, you are
-
going to experience it. And this guy just a briefly I
-
want to say how world, how world is functioning in the in the
-
field of boxing. You know, before you have a
-
boxing match, everybody pays a lot of money.
-
Millions of dollars is generated. 30 minutes, 15
-
minutes, 5 minutes, 2 minutes, all the money goes, millions of
-
dollars just to watch the game. But before the you see the let's
-
say Mike Tyson is, before he comes into the ring, he's
-
exercising, he's warming up, doing things, beating in the
-
air, beating in the air. And you'll hear somebody like
-
probably you'll remember Muhammad Ali.
-
I fly like a butterfly. I sting like a bee.
-
I tell you, this is all nothing before God.
-
They will will do exactly the same thing.
-
And they say they go into something called beast mode.
-
They really become beast. And Mike Tyson, he said I become
-
someone I don't like. When he's getting ready for the
-
going into the ring, he's practicing it and he becomes
-
another man whom he doesn't like.
-
He is a beast. He was turning into a beast.
-
He doesn't like it to become like a beast.
-
And that is the sport you are paying for, to watch the demons
-
take over the fighters. And it is basically a clash of
-
demons versus demons. That's what you are paying for.
-
I'm sorry if I'm putting a pin into your bubble.
-
That's what it is all about. The point is, that's what the
-
point is. Same way we have to 1st learn to
-
fight our lions and our bears. Tell your neighbor we must fight
-
our lions and our bears before you take on Goliath.
-
I don't have any. I don't see any lion.
-
I don't see any bear in my life. Hmm.
-
Unforgiveness keeps you chained to past wounds.
-
You are chained, you know one side.
-
You see David is finishing off lion and the bear and the
-
Goliath and you have another person, Saul.
-
He's being taken over by a lion and a beast and a bear because
-
he starts to fear Davids fame. He starts to fear.
-
It goes into a kind of a fear mode because David became famous
-
by killing Goliath. So sometimes we think, ah, we
-
have finished off a lion and a bear in somebody's life, but he
-
pops up in somebody else's life. So you think of unforgiveness.
-
Pride refuses correction and elevates a self over God.
-
That is, pride yourself is more important than God.
-
Fear paralyzes faith and distorts trust.
-
Rebellion actively resist God's authority.
-
Boastfulness seeks attention, validation from others.
-
Judgmentalism elevates self by tearing others down.
-
Anger is like a bear simmering resentment that erupts under
-
pressure. Bear does not attack you until
-
it is provoked. It minds its own business even
-
when it comes face to face. You will stand there for a long
-
time. You do not do anything.
-
You stand there for a long time. You turn away and walk and you
-
take a stone and throw it and you are done with it because you
-
are provoking it. So sometimes it is like that and
-
anger is like that. Simmering anger, resentment, it
-
erupts under pressure. Bitterness, unresolved pain that
-
poisons joy, lust, quiet indulgence that erodes purity,
-
greed, subtle craving for more, never satisfied envy, Secret
-
comparison that breeds discontent, sloth, spiritual
-
laziness that avoids growth and self pity.
-
A deceptive comfort that keeps you stuck.
-
If you have any of these things which you only know in secret in
-
your heart, you have a lion, you have a bear to deal with, you
-
need deliverance. I would say you wouldn't need
-
deliverance. I would say what is deliverance
-
just to go free? What is not allowing you to live
-
for God? What's the point in living
-
another 1020 years with your lion and your bear and mis God?
-
What's, what's the harm in getting some prayer and say I
-
want to be set free? I have these problems.
-
Is there any harm in, oh, I have confessed it 1000 times.
-
Is there a harm in confessing it 1001 time?
-
Is there a harm in it? That is what we do.
-
We encourage everybody to be set free.
-
We want you to discover who you are.
-
God has paid a high price by giving His own life for you on
-
the cross. Why do you want to live with a
-
lion and a bear? Why do you have to live with a
-
lion and a bear? Oppressing you, suppressing you,
-
taking away your joy. You're seeing the children being
-
dragged away. You're seeing somebody else in
-
the family being dragged away. Somebody is sick, somebody is
-
ruining themselves. Why do you want to watch it all
-
saying no, no, I don't need prayer, I would encourage it.
-
I myself have gone through deliverance, my wife Sema has
-
gone through deliverance, our sons have gone through
-
deliverance, we have gone through deliverance.
-
Why? We want to be set free 100%.
-
We don't want devil to put his finger and say this area in your
-
life is mine. No, you are dethroned, you are
-
defeated, we throw you out. We are consecrating ourselves to
-
be holy for God. Every Christian is delivers at
-
some point or the other. How many years you are a
-
Christian doesn't mean anything. I will be a Christian this
-
October, nearly 48 years. I pray to God for anything that
-
is displeasing to you. Please take it out.
-
Please take it out. Father God, you are the
-
gardener. Jesus, your son is the wine.
-
I have a branch in him. Please prune me.
-
Take it away. Whatever is displeasing to you,
-
take it away. Where in the scripture does it
-
talk about deliverance? Everywhere.
-
John chapter 15 talks about it. First Samuel 17 talks about it.
John 15 chapter mention
-
Genesis 315 talks about it. When David threw that stone and
-
hit Golath on his head and he fell face down, Did he have a
-
sword to kill him, cut him to pieces?
-
No, he took the sword of the Goliath.
-
He he actually stand. He stood upon the body of
-
Goliath. He's trampled down snakes coffin
-
all the powers. Anyway you have the power.
-
Jesus said I'm giving you power to tread up on snakes coffin all
-
the powers. Anyway, do you use it?
-
Do you stand up on Goliath and tell him you are defeated?
-
I am finishing you today. I will draw your own sword from
-
your thing and I'm going to cut off your head.
-
I have to tell you, your adrenal will flow into your bloodstream
-
when you think of all those things and give you the faith,
-
give you the courage to deal with the devil in your life.
-
But if you are doing something wrong, sinful before God, you
-
don't have that courage. You don't have the courage.
-
Well, simple things can be to stop doing what is wrong.
-
Let's do things right. Power of God will come upon you.
-
Your destiny will change. David's private victories over
-
the lion and the bear prepared him for public victory over
-
Goliath. We need to begin to experience
-
the faithfulness of God, power of God in our private life, and
-
then God will promote you to victory in public.
-
Saul killed thousands and David killed 10 thousands.
-
He killed only one guy. He was busy with many other
-
things. He was busy trying to retrieve
-
the armor, take it back into the safe place and he was holding
-
the head of that guy. Normal person's head will weigh
-
something like 7-8 kilos, 10 kilos.
-
This Goliath must be 1520 kilos. He was carrying the head of
-
Goliath in his hand and probably the sword he used another 10
-
kilos. And how does he carry the mail
-
of coat and other things that belong to him?
-
It would have been he would have been running back and forth,
-
take something, go and hide it, go back again, take something.
-
And then ultimately he walks with that head before saw.
-
And then Abner says, hey son, come here.
-
Whose son are you? Whose son are you?
-
And he was in the lineage of the Messiah to come.
-
They did not know it. They did not know it.
-
And God wants you to be a king. God wants you to be a David.
-
And when he selected the shepherd boy, what?
-
One thing that God is telling the whole world forever and ever
-
is that he doesn't look at your appearance, doesn't look at your
-
background. He cares nothing about your
-
thing, but he's looking for all that is whether your heart is
-
for him. And if your heart is for Him, He
-
wants to lift you up and make you a king.
-
Question of all questions is, is God everything for you?
-
Is he your delight? Is your joy?
-
Is your purpose for your existence?
-
Is He your motivator? Is He the one who inspires you
-
to live your day? Is he the one who gives you
-
power? If you want your life to change,
-
surrender yourself to Him 100%. Let us pray.
-
Thank you Jesus, Rasha basare kanare barani manare
-
sundarasastakuruni. The Lord says whole Israel had
-
no idea that God is a living God of Israel.
-
Only one little boy knew it in this generation.
-
I am looking for David, says the Lord.
-
I'm looking for Davids whose heart is sold out to me, whose
-
heart is completely surrounded. Exalt me to praise my name, to
-
obey me, to be, to be feasting on my beauty and my glory, to
-
worship me, to praise me, to obey me.
-
I'm looking for Davids. If you want to be a David, just
-
stand where you are. I want to pray for you.
-

Vastakaroni. Until Jesus comes again and
-
breathes with his breath puts the devil to complete
-
annihilation and death. The war has not not going to
-
cease. The battle is not over and do
-
you want to be in this battle? Do you want to be this battle?
-
And the Lord says, I'm looking for David's father.
-
I commit your children before your throne.
-
They are responding to your word and they are on their feet.
-
And now I pray that you put on the whole armor of God that Paul
-
talks about in Ephesians chapter 6.
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
In the name of Jesus, put that helmet of salvation upon the
-
head and and our Father righteousness on the chest and
-
love built of truth on their waist and readiness of peace.
-
The gospel of shoes. Put the shield of faith in their
-
left hand and word of the sword of God in their right hand.
-
And I pray make them victorious in the name of Jesus.
-
Let them discover the power of the cross in their life.
-
Let them discover the power of the bread of Jesus.
-
Let them discover the power of the name of Jesus.
-
I pray for the revelation now in the name of Jesus, let them know
-
who they are, children of the mighty living God.
-
In the name of Jesus my Father, I pray that every lion, every
-
bear be put to death in their life and every every Goliath
-
that is good they are going to face.
-
Let them have victory over Goliath in the name of Jesus, to
-
the glory of your name. The time is coming.
-
The Lord says time is coming when all eyes will see when I
-
put the devil to death. We praise you our Father.
-
We await your coming back and I pray that you make us like David
-
in the name of Jesus. I pray that you fill them with
-
your spirit now start up, start up, start up that anointing,
-
start that anointing. Start the anointing in them, in
-
the spirit, soul and body. I pray that you start stir them
-
up, start them up, start them up.
-
Oh, I pray for the fire to come from your altar and to a light
-
up on the head right now. May Angel of God bring fire from
-
your altar and touch their the forest.
-
Now put the mark on the forest to the glory of your name.
-
In Jesus mighty name. We have asked and everybody says
-
Amen, Amen. Thanks for joining us at Omega.
