You've tuned into a mega church. We are people hungry to
-
encounter God through worship and His Word being witnesses to
-
the world around us. We pray this teaching blesses
-
you and trust God will reveal Himself to you in a new way
-
today. And.
-
If you need prayer for healing or breakthrough, or to find out
-
more about Omega, get to our website or Facebook page through
-
the next below. Do you?
-
That's good. How many of you have enjoyed
-
reading NEMA at 12:00 during the week 1?
-
Only one hand. Oh, you watch the video.
-
That's good. That's good.
-
So there are many lessons to learn in this chapter.
-
Now, I will not terrify you with the reading the list of names
-
there first you will have a list of names beginning with verse
-
one. Onwards rather.
-
Yeah, from 1:00 to verse 7, you have about 22 names there.
-
How many names? 22.
-
Now if you if you have read it carefully, chapter 12, you will
-
see these names again repeated in verse 12 to 22.
-
But the only difference here is it will it will start like let's
-
say you see my name in the first portion of chapter 12.
-
Next you will see again in second list from the House of
-
Ramana Matthias. Am I making sense?
-
So that is first list is of the tribal leaders, family leaders
-
who were who came back along with you see in the chapter 12
-
verse one, these were the priests and levers who returned
-
from Zerbabel along with Zerbabel son of Shaltiel and
-
with Joshua. So he was a leader and he came
-
to Jerusalem from captivity. And when did it happen?
-
538 BC, 538 BC. Now the list again starting in
-
verse 12 on verse to 22 is talking about a time that is 400
-
and 4544 BC. So that's nearly 100 years.
-
So in this 100 years, the names you see in the first list are
-
not the same. It is second list having the son
-
or son, son or the descendant. But why does why does it matter?
-
Why should we study all these things in detail?
-
Number one is that God cares for every individual.
-
He cares for you. And some of us may not even have
-
grandchildren, but he cares for them as well in the future.
-
He is God only, not your God, but is God of your children and
-
children's children and children's children forever.
-
This is very important for us to know.
-
And when you know this truth, there is joy in your heart to
-
know a God who who is beyond timeline and who can touch you
-
and your family forever. I seek comfort in that verse,
-
not confusion, disorder, names, all these different difficult to
-
pronounce names. But beyond those names is this
-
God who says I was with him, I am with you now.
-
God of Moses is also God of Joshua.
-
God of Abraham is God of Jacob and Isaac and Jacob, every
-
succeeding generation. He is a living God.
-
Hallelujah. Yeah.
-
So leaders listed there, they all came back in 538 BC And then
-
who are the people who came back?
-
Is the people who came back were priests and Lee whites?
-
What about the common people? We don't see much about them
-
here, but the people who are elected, the priests and the
-
leavers, are elected by God for a particular purpose, that is to
-
serve him. Even though they went into
-
captivity, they didn't lose their vision.
-
They went into captivity, but they didn't lose their vision.
-
They are a peculiar people elected by God to live for him,
-
to serve him. And when the opportunity came,
-
they grabbed it and said we are going back to Jerusalem.
-
You're going back to Jerusalem. What about the other 11 tribes?
-
We don't hear much about them. But the point I'm trying to make
-
here is we must be like the Levites.
-
We must be like the priests who long for the House of God, who
-
long to come back and serve God in the House of God.
-
That's all. Who is a Christian?
-
One who not only knows Jesus Savior, but one who wants to
-
live for Him and serve Him. It's not optional.
-
Whatever way you do, whatever you do, your life, your
-
testimony, your words counts before God.
-
He's looking forward what you can bring to Him, what you can
-
bring to Him always. God is not going to be surprised
-
because He, without moving his eyes, can see into the past,
-
into the future. If I had to look right, I had to
-
turn my head, I had to look left, I had to turn my eyes, my
-
head for God. He can be in the same place and
-
see this side and that side. Now knowing God is really
-
amazing. I tell you, when you know God,
-
there's no you will not be tired of thinking about him.
-
It just energizes you. It puts hope, it gives you
-
courage, it gives you clarity, it gives you confidence, it
-
gives you faith. Knowing God, there's no, it's
-
just amazing. I tell you, the Holy Spirit is
-
here right now. Even as I'm speaking those
-
words, He's just here. So you see what what we see here
-
is that you have to skip back some of these words.
-
I mean verses. Yeah, let's in the second list
-
of people, you see only 20 names in the first list.
-
I said you had 22 names. Two names are missing.
-
Why? So I sat down to check every
-
name by name and I found one name having two names.
-
So that makes 21, not 20. So 1 is missing.
-
So this can be a scribal error when the people are copying the
-
scripture. That must have gone missing.
-
Somebody who made a copy must have missed one name anyway, but
-
that doesn't make any huge difference to the teaching of
-
the Scripture. OK, so and another thing about
-
this list is this list is made during a time it says here in
-
verse 22. The family heads of the Levites
-
in the days of Ilyashim, Zoeda, Johanan, Jadua, as well as those
-
of the priests were recorded in the reign of Darius the Persian.
-
So why is that detail important? It is to say that it is
-
historical record. It's not a somebody has sat down
-
and had a lots of pizza and wrote down this book.
-
No, it is not like that. It's historical record and
-
that's why we depend on the Scripture.
-
As I told you in the morning, every word in the scripture is
-
inspired by the Holy Spirit. It has power.
-
Like I just remembered I was having this pain in the shoulder
-
and put my hand there. I don't know why I said it.
-
I simply said I tossed the sandal on you.
-
Actually, I said Felicity, I thought that's what was in my
-
mind and the pain just left. I said, what is this in this
-
verse? Is there power in this verse?
-
I didn't know it and then when I went into the bed, I said, maybe
-
I must check that verse. So again, I pulled up my duvet
-
and then grabbed my phone and typed it and said, where is this
-
verse? Psalm 68, eight.
-
It says I toss my sandal on you, Edom.
-
Oh, OK, I got a little detail wrong so I corrected myself.
-
But I praise God for the healing.
-
So every word is important. So the lists are also important.
-
I'm not going to take this too much about the lists of the
-
names, but it is important. Why is important is historical
-
and it it makes the story of the Bible true because you can
-
pinpoint said this man had this son and that son had another son
-
is historical. That's why Matthew chapter 1 is
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
important and Luke is important. That genealogical record is very
-
important because Jesus is not a figment of imagination of
-
somebody. He is a historical person, God
-
invading history in person, space and time.
-
So that's why it is important. Cool.
-
So now what happened? The dedication of the walls.
-
So in order to dedicate the walls, so far we have not seen
-
the record of how it was dedicated.
-
But now Nehemiah is recounting the dedication of the wall that
-
is starting from verse 27 at the dedication of the wall of
-
Jerusalem, the levers were sought out from where they lived
-
and were brought to Jerusalem to celebrate joyfully and, and the
-
dedication with songs of Thanksgiving and with the music
-
of symbols, harps and liars. Have you seen a lyre?
-
Have you seen a symbol half? OK, let's look at some pictures
-
next one that's a symbol. 2 brass pieces a little elevated
-
in the centre and then you have a knot inside to keep that loop.
-
And then when you bring them together, make ching ching ching
-
noise. Christians have stopped using
-
the symbols, I think, but somebody else uses.
-
When you see some procession on the streets, Hindus, they use
-
symbols quite a lot. And then harp, that's the
-
David's harp. And that is how he was.
-
He became known as a young lad who knows how to play a harp.
-
And when King Saul was having a problem, they said we know a boy
-
who can play this harp so that the madness that is driving Saul
-
can go down. So he was called to the king so
-
he can minister to him. Whenever he had attack of the
-
enemy, whenever the evil spirits are tormenting him, they would
-
sing the songs of God and that will give relief to king.
-
That's the harp. And then you have the liar,
-
which is similar kind of a thing but different shape.
-
A string instrument and strings would vary in number.
-
Some had 16 strings and some had different number of strings, but
-
these are different instruments. In the Bible you will see about
-
22 different instruments being used to worship God, but in this
-
list you see only three listed here, symbols half and lyre.
-
And somebody also uses a trumpet 4 we see in this chapter, but
-
there are many other instruments.
-
Why is it important is first thing is the leavers were living
-
everywhere scattered. They were not just centered in
-
Jerusalem. They were scattered in the
-
tribes of Israel. Wherever the different tribes
-
are there, they will be scattered different places.
-
So now they had to be brought to one place.
-
They were brought from outside Jerusalem to Jerusalem so they
-
can participate in the dedication of the walls.
-
OK. And second thing that you see
-
here is this has to be purified before you can dedicate the
-
words. They have to be purified.
-
So what are the things they purified was 30 when the priests
-
and the levers had purified themselves ceremonially.
-
They purified the people, the gates and the wall.
-
What an awesome word you're saying.
-
So what is this man saying? What is also about it?
-
What is also about this is everything that belongs to God
-
has to be purified. The city of God has to be
-
purified, walls have to be purified, temple has to be
-
purified, people have to be purified.
-
Before all these things, the priests and levers who are going
-
to minister, they must be pure, they must be purified.
-
So how is this purification done?
-
The purification part is when they sacrifice the animal the
-
blood is collected and that blood they will sometimes use a
-
plant called Hissop and they dip it in the blood and sprinkle on
-
the people. And this happened several times.
-
One of the times I remember is in the book of Exodus chapter
Exodus 19 chapter mention
-
19. Before the law was given, Moses
-
had to offer sacrifices through young men, and they carried the
-
blood. And what did Moses do?
-
He sprinkled the blood on the law, the tablets that were
-
written by the hand of God, Finger of God.
-
He sprinkled it with that, the blood to make the law holy.
-
And the people to whom it is read, they must be made holy.
-
So he sprinkled the people with the blood. 2 million people.
-
How do you sprinkle the blood? My imagination kicks in there,
-
you see. So you have this large number of
-
Levites, hundreds and hundreds of them, and they were all
-
sanctified. First they will sprinkle the
-
blood on the Levites. They are sanctified and they
-
have bowls, golden balls full of this blood, collected and
-
diluted with water, and each one given a hissop.
-
And they rush into the people, and wherever they find people,
-
they keep sprinkling on them. 2 million people.
-
You have to sanctify them, purify them, and I tell you, we
-
have this worship team. You cannot have worship if they
-
are not purified. They must be those who know
-
Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life and the ones that are
-
filled with the Holy Spirit and then they are able to minister.
-
This is one of the criteria we put that anybody can sing,
-
anybody can play a musical instrument, and people will say,
-
huh, why don't you make them do? Why don't you make them do?
-
Do they know the Lord? OK, that's good.
-
Praise God, they know the Lord. Are you filled with the Holy
-
Spirit? They speak in tongues.
-
And then we say sometimes we relax it for some more desperate
-
conditions. But now everybody speaks in
-
tongues here. And after that what we see is
-
that they had to be holy. They had to be purified.
-
They must their mind, their thoughts, how to be purified.
-
I'm telling you, if we are not holy, you can play music, you
-
can sing, it will be just a noise.
-
And some of the people who come into the church, when they walk
-
in, the first thing they notice and say is we feel the presence
-
of God in Omega and we pray for it through the week.
-
I say, God, we need a glory to fill the church.
-
Let everybody feel your presence.
-
We pray for it that the that the Lord will be here and minister
-
to people when they walk into the church.
-
So that is how the whole when when the city, the walls had to
-
be purified. The people have to be purified
-
and the whole city has to be purified because the holy city
-
and that is what the church is today.
-
Unfortunately, not every church is holy.
-
You can say or I went into the sorns a place and there were so
-
beautiful worship, but we didn't feel the presence.
-
That's because they individually have to be set apart for God.
-
They should set them just apart for God and say, God, Holy
-
Spirit, dwell in me. Let my singing, let my music
-
bring glory to your name. And as I yield to God, that is
-
sanctified by the Holy Spirit and they will become acceptable
-
to God. Am I speaking too much about
-
these things? Just a minimum, standard
-
minimum. And you will see another thing
-
here is the word used here is song dedication with songs of
-
Thanksgiving. Song in Hebrew is Shiv.
-
Shiv is song, but this Shiv song is it is sung in praise.
-
Usually it's poetic and prophetic.
-
Songs are poetic and prophetic. They are not just words.
-
So when you sing the songs, meditate on the words that you
-
see on the screen. Meditate on the words and as you
-
sing, that is how the Holy Spirit ministers to you.
-
It's not just you sing, make noise, go away.
-
No meditate on the meaning of the words you sing and the Holy
-
Spirit who is inside you will say that is what I'm doing in
-
your life. That is what I'm going to do in
-
your life. That is what I'm doing in the
-
church. He will witness in your spirit
-
that singing that is involving your soul, your mind and your
-
spirit in singing to God. So sheer is a Son.
-
Praise, poetic and prophetic and then you have the word
-
Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving you see several
-
times in the scripture, I think in this chapter, maybe a dozen
-
times, you'll see Thanksgiving. Without Thanksgiving, all your
-
worship and praise is of no meaning.
-
Thanksgiving is the at the center of the heart of a
-
believer. You need to be thankful to God
-
for everything. Even the breath that you have.
-
You need to be thankful to God. And the Hebrew word used is
-
teda. Theta is it's connected to
-
another Hebrew word called yada. What is this Theta?
-
And yada, It's basically when you are Thanksgiving, you are
-
doing is what you do is you throw your hands.
-
It literally says throw in your hands.
-
You just move your hands up in the air and to God and say, God,
-
I honor you. How many of us are so not?
-
Don't want to, You just want to be static.
-
Lift your hands up. Why do you have to lift your
-
hands up? You do something with your body.
-
Your spirit responds to what your body does.
-
Your spirit responds to what your body does.
-
That's the reason why you need to lift your hands up and your
-
voice has to be out. Not mumbling, singing to
-
yourself. No, you're singing to God.
-
Actually, I found something interesting about singing to
-
God. I was, I used, I used the song
-
ABBA. In the song he says ABBA, it is
-
so long unless you are a singer, you can't hold your breath and
-
finish along with him. But one of the things he says in
-
the first stanza is your thoughts define me and you dwell
-
inside me. I said, If he's dwelling inside
-
me, why would I have to say ABBA as if he's millions of
-
kilometers away? I, I allow some a concession for
-
it because that is just help you to connect with God.
-
You're singing that way, but because he's inside living
-
inside you, he starts to define you.
-
He's so close. He's close on the skin on your
-
bones, closer than the song on your tongue.
-
Beautiful song. Every day I sing it.
-
Every day I get new thoughts and that is the stamp of inspiration
-
of the Holy Spirit. When God minister to you through
-
a song, that is the sign that He inspired the song.
-
Any new song you sing it, you hear it.
-
First question to ask, has it ministered to you?
-
Yes, Forrest Pit has inspired the song.
-
So many songs you can sing and nothing happens.
-
It's just a song, just a song. Anyway, let me move.
-
When am I going to finish Harps, symbols, liars, you know, we
-
actually need more people to use them instruments.
-
So what actually happens here is what Neymar did later on.
-
And you see here is in verse 40, it says 2 choirs that gave
-
thanks then took their places in the House of God.
-
So what he did, he divided them into two groups basically.
-
So let's go to that map again, please.
-
Not the other one. Go back.
-
Oh yeah, that's the one. Now you remember this about what
-
he said about the walls being constructed.
-
First thing you see his name. I have went to inspect the walls
-
in the night. He took a donkey with him and he
-
started off from this somewhere here.
-
Tower Howens and the Valley gate, that green thing on the
-
left, he came down and he got stuck here and he had to leave
-
the donkey there and walk because there was number.
-
It was a rubble. He had to leave the donkey
-
there. So, you know, the walls were not
-
in a very good condition when he first came.
-
Second, when they were rebuilding Sun Balan and Tobi,
-
when they came to him. And what did they say?
-
Hey, what are you doing? Even if a fox jumps on it, the
-
wall is going to crumble down. That means its not going to be
-
very strong. You're just wasting your breath
-
and your energy. Don't continue doing what you're
-
doing. The same walls.
-
Now you have got people walking on the walls.
-
One team begins from the valley gate on the left side of the
-
gate goes down singing up through and they come up to the
-
tower of 100. Just on the right you have
-
another gate through the sheep gate.
-
You enter into the temple and another team went from same here
-
and Nehemiah accompanied them. They went up the north and came
-
down through and enter the temple.
-
There two teams and they are blowing musical instruments,
-
halves, lion symbols, dancing joy.
-
I tell you, it's glorious to imagine that though you, it
-
happened so many hundreds of years ago.
-
If you can just sit down and imagine the walls, 2.4
-
kilometers covered by these two teams, maybe in an hour or so
-
probably or because they are not just rushing, they are not on a
-
running race, they are just walking on the walls praising
-
God. They were sanctified, they were
-
purified and everything. The walls are purified, people
-
are purified, the priests and levers are purified, and the
-
song they're singing is purified too.
-
It assents to God and that brings joy to the people.
-
That brings joy to the people and they enter in and the word
-
they use is antiphonally. Antiphonally is somebody sings
-
one verse and the other team stands opposite to them and they
-
sing another verse and this people will sing the third
-
verse. They sing the fourth verse 2
-
teams together are singing there in the temple of God.
-
Am I able to communicate something or what happened
-
hundreds of years ago? I tell you, we need more people
-
to do that, not just the same 2-3 people.
-
We can't do that. We need more people to get
-
involved in worshipping God and it is possible if we have a
-
will, there's a way. OK, so let's just think about
-
it, pray about it and see how we can be involved to worship God
-
together. There has to be joy in it.
-
Its not something I had to do it.
-
No, there has to be joy in it. Cool.
-
So now these people, the leaders of Judah go up on the top of the
-
wall. I also assigned 2 large choirs
-
to give thanks. One wants to proceed on the top
-
of the wall to the right toward the Dung Gate Hosa, and he gives
-
a list of people and the other one will go from northward and
-
go into the temple and they meet together and worship God.
-
Cool. Now why should this be done?
-
OK, they did the dedication of wall.
-
What does it mean? Dedication of the wall means
-
that this city that was in rubble, walls burned down, gets
-
burned down, walls thrown down, stones are all scattered.
-
Now. God had given grace to rebuild,
-
to make them feel proud of it. Basically, before there was no
-
pride. You are living in Jerusalem.
-
We are not proud of it because there's no protection.
-
And now the city has protection and you can be proud that you
-
belong to this place. And this is a place that God has
-
put his name, the glory into the city.
-
So now you're you're declaring something to the people around
-
before you are ashamed, but now you are not ashamed.
-
And instead you have got a lot of hope and you've got courage,
-
you've got strength and faith. That is why you're dedicating
-
the was it is a notice to all the enemies.
-
Before they wanted to stop the building.
-
They want to come and attack, but now it is complete and they
-
cannot do anything about it. And I tell you, this is the way
-
Jesus did upon the cross is he has done everything needed and
-
he said he's finished. And when you know that it is
-
finished, you know that the devil cannot do anything.
-
You know that the snakes, scorpion, all the power, the
-
enemy cannot resist you, they cannot resist you.
-
Why? You are resting on the finished
-
work of the cross. Your dedication of the temple is
-
like that. What happened to the Jewish
-
people with the dedicated to the temple?
-
It should happen to you when you think of the cross.
-
Cool. And then we see one more thing
-
in verse 26. They served in the days of Joy
-
Akim son of Joshua, son of Zozo Zardak, and in the days of
-
Nehemiah the governor and Ezra the priest and scribe many small
-
details. I'm not going to tell you the
-
names of Ezra is mentioned in the first few verses and again
-
here, but there are two different Ezras.
-
They are not the same Ezra like that.
-
So interestingly, next thing that we have to think about is
-
Thanksgiving is very important and what you see here in verse
-
43. And on that day they offered
-
great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great
-
joy. The women and the children also
-
rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in
-
Jerusalem could be heard far away.
-
Do people see joy on your face? Do people sense joy in your
-
voice when you meet people when you go to work, how was how was
-
your week? How was on a Monday morning you
-
meet them? How, how was your week?
-
Ah, just another week. There's no joy in it.
-
But if you're a child of God, there has to be joy and that
-
should be visible. But basically here what they
-
have done here is they had given sacrifices, they offer
-
sacrifices and then rejoicing because God had given them great
-
joy. So joy, what is the source of
-
joy? God had given them great joy.
-
Has He given you the great joy? Can we rejoice in it?
-
Yes. Amen.
-
Then who rejoiced? Women, children also rejoiced.
-
Oh, it's only not for men only, OK, It's for the whole family.
-
Everybody has to rejoice because God is the one who is giving you
-
the joy. And then sound of rejoicing in
-
Jerusalem could be heard far away when they were singing in
-
the temple. Far away, 2 kilometers, 3
-
kilometers, they can hear the sound that is happening in
-
Jerusalem. I tell you, this should be the
-
experience of church. This should be the experience of
-
the church when you worship people walk going on the street
-
should hear that there's something happening here and
-
they should pull their car, park the car on the roadside, come
-
walking in to see why are these people making a noise here?
-
Cool. And then you see here, when all
-
these things were happening, people were became.
-
Basically, when you become conscious of presence of God,
-
when you want to respond to God, when you want to live for God,
-
certain things happen. One of the things is giving.
-
I don't know why I've been talking about giving so much.
-
We don't talk so much about giving generally, but here you
-
see, at that time men were appointed to be in charge of the
-
storerooms for the contributions, first fruits and
-
tithes from the fields around the towns.
-
They were to bring into the storerooms the portions required
-
by the law for the priests and the livers, for Judah was
-
pleased with the ministering priests and Levites.
-
So the people are happy with what the what is happening in
-
the temple of God. And they were giving liberally.
-
They're bringing their tithes first fruits, all kinds of
-
offerings they're bringing. And now what they were doing is
-
they performed the service of their God and the service of
-
purifications as it also singles and gatekeepers according to the
-
commands of David and his son Solomon.
-
Now they had to appoint people to do this.
-
So what they did was the Levites were scattered everywhere.
-
So people will bring the tithes and offerings to the Levites and
-
the Levites would take a tithe of it and bring it to Aaron's
-
sons or the priests in the temple.
-
And every need is met to run the temple to maintain it.
-
Money would come through all these things.
-
So there was number lack. What?
-
Why is it important to study in Nehemiah chapter 12 about these
Nehemiah 12 chapter mention
-
things? Because the temple was not
-
running as it should run. The walls were broken down and
-
the gates were burned down. So now when that is being
-
restored, the religion in general is also restored.
-
When the walls are restored, religious life becomes restored.
-
And they were happily giving to the Lord out of joy.
-
And. One more important thing that we
-
need to see here is that faith following generations through
-
through intergenerational bridges, It is not just one
-
people who live and enjoy God and they die and the faith
-
disappears. No, it's not that.
-
It is generation to generation to generation.
-
It continues and we have to be like that.
-
This is the model, scriptural model.
-
We must pass on our faith to our children and they should pass on
-
their faith to their children. It just goes on sometimes.
-
In bidding May. Go wrong.
-
I am not saying this is a perfect model, but may not
-
always happen that way. But that should be the aim.
-
That should be our prayer. Cool.
-
Anything else? So many things I wrote down here
-
but OK. Now what I want to share
-
basically. Is we will go into the communion
-
part, but before we go into the communion part, I want to share
-
something. Can we?
-
Have a scripture on the. Screen please.
-
John, 663. I have been six chapter. 6 verse
-
63 I've been. Looking for our whole week?
-
For this communion, we I'm quite.
-
Excited to share with. You what God has been doing in
-
my life and that is what he wanted to do through your life.
-
663 What basically happened in the beginning of the chapter you
-
see that Jesus had multiplied bread and the fish and fed 5000
-
people and people are longing for this bread and fish to be
-
filled with. He said don't look for the food
-
that perishes and ultimately in in one place.
-
He said I am the bread of life. Moses gave them bread the your
-
your forefathers aid manna in the wilderness.
-
You thought Moses gave the bread.
-
No, it's my heavenly Father who gave the bread to them and I am
-
the bread that has come down from heaven.
-
He. Was making big big.
-
Claims and people are just cannot just assimilate or
-
understand what he was saying to them basically.
-
And then at one point he says, unless you eat my flesh and
-
drink my blood, you cannot have life in yourself.
-
And they said what? Are you promoting cannibalism?
-
Do you want us to eat human flesh?
-
He said. Ah.
-
You're offended about. What I said, What if you see Son
-
of Man ascend to the Father and be seated there on the right
-
hand side? So what he was trying to say is
-
you are not eating my physical flesh, you are not drinking my
-
physical blood. But what I'm saying to you is
-
metaphorical. You will have to learn to feed
-
on me as you feed on the bread, as you eat your breakfast, lunch
-
and dinner. You have to feed on my finished
-
work on the cross. I have died for you to give you
-
life, and you are going to make that your food.
-
You're going to make that your drink.
-
It is. If you stop eating for a week or
-
two weeks, you're going to die. So you need to be.
-
Feeding on me all the time and. In 663.
-
He clarified and said, the spirit gives life, flesh counts
-
for nothing. The words I have spoken to you,
-
they are full of spirit and life.
-
Now some of us may say, ha I know this verse.
-
Did I know this verse? I do know the verse as well for
-
a long time, but since about a month or so this has come alive
-
to me. What?
-
Does what did this was. Do to me when I'm facing
-
difficult situations where I'm praying but not getting a
-
breakthrough for people and when I'm casting your demons is not
-
going, that's the time when one day the Lords brought this to my
-
mind. I eat his flesh.
-
I. Drink his blood.
-
His words are they are full of spirit and life.
-
I have His spirit in me. I have His life in me.
-
He is the one who is dwelling in me.
-
Because when He raised Lazarus, what did he say?
-
I am the resurrection and life. So He is living in me.
-
When I eat His blood, when I eat His flesh and drink His blood,
-
by faith He is going to live in me, and when I.
-
Remembered these things. And I said, I released that
-
anointing of God in the name of Jesus.
-
Bang the devil left. I saw it in, not.
-
One case, second case, third case, 4th case.
-
I said, oh, why did I not do this all these years?
-
I've been a Christian for nearly 48 years now I'm learning this
-
lesson that is never. Too late to learn the.
-
Lesson. If you're younger than me, that
-
is fine. Learn it now.
-
Eat his flesh, drink his blood, Smith.
-
Wigglesworth used to have comedian.
-
Several times a day or two or three times, whatever number and
-
lot of people have been influenced by human, they do
-
communion every day and there's no power.
-
My question is doing communion is not wrong or right.
-
Is there power in your life? If that is missing, then you can
-
eat any number of, not just a piece of bread.
-
You can eat the whole loaf if there's no.
-
Power. It's no good.
-
So this is what I'm trying to say is you develop that
-
consciousness that when you are eating his, the bread, piece of
-
bread, you are feeding into his flesh and we will drink the
-
juice. You are drinking his blood and
-
you are receiving his life in you.
-
And that life, when you release it, is going to open the eyes of
-
the blind, is going to make the deaf ear down, speak lame walk,
-
is going to raise the dead. Now next question I want.
-
To ask is how is it useful to me?
-
You might be asking, think of let's think of a food processor
-
I. Say put the food processor.
-
Here and switch it on and it's going on making 24 hours.
-
Is it any good to you to run the food processor 24 hours?
-
No. You want to make a dough to make
-
the pizza. You check the flour and the oil
-
and the salt and the water train.
-
You start the machine one minute the dough is ready and switch it
-
off and take the dough and proof it and then you make the pizza.
-
What am I? Trying to say here.
-
Use it as often as you need. It's not going to be buzzing.
-
All the time in your house, 24 hours, because you have a
-
machine there. You don't have to make it run
-
all the time, but when you need to make pizza, you're going to
-
use it. So when?
-
You are praying for people. Become conscious.
-
Feed on him, become conscious that is living in you and
-
release the power and see healing happen, deliverance
-
happen. You have the authority.
-
To trade upon snakes, scorpion, all the power of the enemy.
-
That's what we are going to do today.
-
When you pick up the piece of bread and juice, come back to
-
your seats after after we have partaken in it, you have eaten
-
his flesh and drunk his blood. His life has come, his spirit
-
has come into you. And then you are going to say I
-
trampled down snakes carpet. All the power, the enemy
-
principalities, powers, the rules of darkness become his
-
high place. That problem that is challenging
-
you, the job that is giving you trouble, the relationship that
-
is giving you problem, bring it under the blood of crash and
-
trample down. The enemy is not your wife or
-
husband who is your enemy. It is the enemy that's devil.
-
Trample him down and your relationship will improve.
-
Is it? Does it make sense?
-
Let's. Have a meaningful coming in.
-
Today, OK, you can go to there are two tables, one on the back
-
one here. You can feel free to go grab and
-
come back to your seats and we will continue the thing.

-
challenge of the health, that sickness or the relationships or

the problems, whatever is really troubling us as we trample down

-
You have got his life and spirit now.
-
Trample down. Snake, scarf and all the
-
following. Be loud and clear.
-
Make that movement, trample down, stand up.
-
If you feel like standing up, standing up and bring that
-
problem that is causing you problem, that problem.
-
Put it under your feet and command the Satan to live in the
-
name of Jesus. He has to go because you, the
-
Jesus in you, is going to defeat that enemy, set you free.
-
He is going to lead you into victory.
-
He is going to heal you. He is going to set you free.

blood. Your body has become a living

temple of the Holy Spirit and you have the power of God

dwelling in you and nothing can defeat you.
