  1. You've tuned into a mega church. We are people hungry to

  2. encounter God through worship and His Word being witnesses to

  3. the world around us. We pray this teaching blesses

  4. you and trust God will reveal Himself to you in a new way

  5. today. And.

  6. If you need prayer for healing or breakthrough, or to find out

  7. more about Omega, get to our website or Facebook page through

  8. the next below. Do you?

  9. That's good. How many of you have enjoyed

  10. reading NEMA at 12:00 during the week 1?

  11. Only one hand. Oh, you watch the video.

  12. That's good. That's good.

  13. So there are many lessons to learn in this chapter.

  14. Now, I will not terrify you with the reading the list of names

  15. there first you will have a list of names beginning with verse

  16. one. Onwards rather.

  17. Yeah, from 1:00 to verse 7, you have about 22 names there.

  18. How many names? 22.

  19. Now if you if you have read it carefully, chapter 12, you will

  20. see these names again repeated in verse 12 to 22.

  21. But the only difference here is it will it will start like let's

  22. say you see my name in the first portion of chapter 12.

  23. Next you will see again in second list from the House of

  24. Ramana Matthias. Am I making sense?

  25. So that is first list is of the tribal leaders, family leaders

  26. who were who came back along with you see in the chapter 12

  27. verse one, these were the priests and levers who returned

  28. from Zerbabel along with Zerbabel son of Shaltiel and

  29. with Joshua. So he was a leader and he came

  30. to Jerusalem from captivity. And when did it happen?

  31. 538 BC, 538 BC. Now the list again starting in

  32. verse 12 on verse to 22 is talking about a time that is 400

  33. and 4544 BC. So that's nearly 100 years.

  34. So in this 100 years, the names you see in the first list are

  35. not the same. It is second list having the son

  36. or son, son or the descendant. But why does why does it matter?

  37. Why should we study all these things in detail?

  38. Number one is that God cares for every individual.

  39. He cares for you. And some of us may not even have

  40. grandchildren, but he cares for them as well in the future.

  41. He is God only, not your God, but is God of your children and

  42. children's children and children's children forever.

  43. This is very important for us to know.

  44. And when you know this truth, there is joy in your heart to

  45. know a God who who is beyond timeline and who can touch you

  46. and your family forever. I seek comfort in that verse,

  47. not confusion, disorder, names, all these different difficult to

  48. pronounce names. But beyond those names is this

  49. God who says I was with him, I am with you now.

  50. God of Moses is also God of Joshua.

  51. God of Abraham is God of Jacob and Isaac and Jacob, every

  52. succeeding generation. He is a living God.

  53. Hallelujah. Yeah.

  54. So leaders listed there, they all came back in 538 BC And then

  55. who are the people who came back?

  56. Is the people who came back were priests and Lee whites?

  57. What about the common people? We don't see much about them

  58. here, but the people who are elected, the priests and the

  59. leavers, are elected by God for a particular purpose, that is to

  60. serve him. Even though they went into

  61. captivity, they didn't lose their vision.

  62. They went into captivity, but they didn't lose their vision.

  63. They are a peculiar people elected by God to live for him,

  64. to serve him. And when the opportunity came,

  65. they grabbed it and said we are going back to Jerusalem.

  66. You're going back to Jerusalem. What about the other 11 tribes?

  67. We don't hear much about them. But the point I'm trying to make

  68. here is we must be like the Levites.

  69. We must be like the priests who long for the House of God, who

  70. long to come back and serve God in the House of God.

  71. That's all. Who is a Christian?

  72. One who not only knows Jesus Savior, but one who wants to

  73. live for Him and serve Him. It's not optional.

  74. Whatever way you do, whatever you do, your life, your

  75. testimony, your words counts before God.

  76. He's looking forward what you can bring to Him, what you can

  77. bring to Him always. God is not going to be surprised

  78. because He, without moving his eyes, can see into the past,

  79. into the future. If I had to look right, I had to

  80. turn my head, I had to look left, I had to turn my eyes, my

  81. head for God. He can be in the same place and

  82. see this side and that side. Now knowing God is really

  83. amazing. I tell you, when you know God,

  84. there's no you will not be tired of thinking about him.

  85. It just energizes you. It puts hope, it gives you

  86. courage, it gives you clarity, it gives you confidence, it

  87. gives you faith. Knowing God, there's no, it's

  88. just amazing. I tell you, the Holy Spirit is

  89. here right now. Even as I'm speaking those

  90. words, He's just here. So you see what what we see here

  91. is that you have to skip back some of these words.

  92. I mean verses. Yeah, let's in the second list

  93. of people, you see only 20 names in the first list.

  94. I said you had 22 names. Two names are missing.

  95. Why? So I sat down to check every

  96. name by name and I found one name having two names.

  97. So that makes 21, not 20. So 1 is missing.

  98. So this can be a scribal error when the people are copying the

  99. scripture. That must have gone missing.

  100. Somebody who made a copy must have missed one name anyway, but

  101. that doesn't make any huge difference to the teaching of

  102. the Scripture. OK, so and another thing about

  103. this list is this list is made during a time it says here in

  104. verse 22. The family heads of the Levites

  105. in the days of Ilyashim, Zoeda, Johanan, Jadua, as well as those

  106. of the priests were recorded in the reign of Darius the Persian.

  107. So why is that detail important? It is to say that it is

  108. historical record. It's not a somebody has sat down

  109. and had a lots of pizza and wrote down this book.

  110. No, it is not like that. It's historical record and

  111. that's why we depend on the Scripture.

  112. As I told you in the morning, every word in the scripture is

  113. inspired by the Holy Spirit. It has power.

  114. Like I just remembered I was having this pain in the shoulder

  115. and put my hand there. I don't know why I said it.

  116. I simply said I tossed the sandal on you.

  117. Actually, I said Felicity, I thought that's what was in my

  118. mind and the pain just left. I said, what is this in this

  119. verse? Is there power in this verse?

  120. I didn't know it and then when I went into the bed, I said, maybe

  121. I must check that verse. So again, I pulled up my duvet

  122. and then grabbed my phone and typed it and said, where is this

  123. verse? Psalm 68, eight.

  124. It says I toss my sandal on you, Edom.

  125. Oh, OK, I got a little detail wrong so I corrected myself.

  126. But I praise God for the healing.

  127. So every word is important. So the lists are also important.

  128. I'm not going to take this too much about the lists of the

  129. names, but it is important. Why is important is historical

  130. and it it makes the story of the Bible true because you can

  131. pinpoint said this man had this son and that son had another son

  132. is historical. That's why Matthew chapter 1 is

    Matthew 1 chapter mention

  133. important and Luke is important. That genealogical record is very

  134. important because Jesus is not a figment of imagination of

  135. somebody. He is a historical person, God

  136. invading history in person, space and time.

  137. So that's why it is important. Cool.

  138. So now what happened? The dedication of the walls.

  139. So in order to dedicate the walls, so far we have not seen

  140. the record of how it was dedicated.

  141. But now Nehemiah is recounting the dedication of the wall that

  142. is starting from verse 27 at the dedication of the wall of

  143. Jerusalem, the levers were sought out from where they lived

  144. and were brought to Jerusalem to celebrate joyfully and, and the

  145. dedication with songs of Thanksgiving and with the music

  146. of symbols, harps and liars. Have you seen a lyre?

  147. Have you seen a symbol half? OK, let's look at some pictures

  148. next one that's a symbol. 2 brass pieces a little elevated

  149. in the centre and then you have a knot inside to keep that loop.

  150. And then when you bring them together, make ching ching ching

  151. noise. Christians have stopped using

  152. the symbols, I think, but somebody else uses.

  153. When you see some procession on the streets, Hindus, they use

  154. symbols quite a lot. And then harp, that's the

  155. David's harp. And that is how he was.

  156. He became known as a young lad who knows how to play a harp.

  157. And when King Saul was having a problem, they said we know a boy

  158. who can play this harp so that the madness that is driving Saul

  159. can go down. So he was called to the king so

  160. he can minister to him. Whenever he had attack of the

  161. enemy, whenever the evil spirits are tormenting him, they would

  162. sing the songs of God and that will give relief to king.

  163. That's the harp. And then you have the liar,

  164. which is similar kind of a thing but different shape.

  165. A string instrument and strings would vary in number.

  166. Some had 16 strings and some had different number of strings, but

  167. these are different instruments. In the Bible you will see about

  168. 22 different instruments being used to worship God, but in this

  169. list you see only three listed here, symbols half and lyre.

  170. And somebody also uses a trumpet 4 we see in this chapter, but

  171. there are many other instruments.

  172. Why is it important is first thing is the leavers were living

  173. everywhere scattered. They were not just centered in

  174. Jerusalem. They were scattered in the

  175. tribes of Israel. Wherever the different tribes

  176. are there, they will be scattered different places.

  177. So now they had to be brought to one place.

  178. They were brought from outside Jerusalem to Jerusalem so they

  179. can participate in the dedication of the walls.

  180. OK. And second thing that you see

  181. here is this has to be purified before you can dedicate the

  182. words. They have to be purified.

  183. So what are the things they purified was 30 when the priests

  184. and the levers had purified themselves ceremonially.

  185. They purified the people, the gates and the wall.

  186. What an awesome word you're saying.

  187. So what is this man saying? What is also about it?

  188. What is also about this is everything that belongs to God

  189. has to be purified. The city of God has to be

  190. purified, walls have to be purified, temple has to be

  191. purified, people have to be purified.

  192. Before all these things, the priests and levers who are going

  193. to minister, they must be pure, they must be purified.

  194. So how is this purification done?

  195. The purification part is when they sacrifice the animal the

  196. blood is collected and that blood they will sometimes use a

  197. plant called Hissop and they dip it in the blood and sprinkle on

  198. the people. And this happened several times.

  199. One of the times I remember is in the book of Exodus chapter

    Exodus 19 chapter mention

  200. 19. Before the law was given, Moses

  201. had to offer sacrifices through young men, and they carried the

  202. blood. And what did Moses do?

  203. He sprinkled the blood on the law, the tablets that were

  204. written by the hand of God, Finger of God.

  205. He sprinkled it with that, the blood to make the law holy.

  206. And the people to whom it is read, they must be made holy.

  207. So he sprinkled the people with the blood. 2 million people.

  208. How do you sprinkle the blood? My imagination kicks in there,

  209. you see. So you have this large number of

  210. Levites, hundreds and hundreds of them, and they were all

  211. sanctified. First they will sprinkle the

  212. blood on the Levites. They are sanctified and they

  213. have bowls, golden balls full of this blood, collected and

  214. diluted with water, and each one given a hissop.

  215. And they rush into the people, and wherever they find people,

  216. they keep sprinkling on them. 2 million people.

  217. You have to sanctify them, purify them, and I tell you, we

  218. have this worship team. You cannot have worship if they

  219. are not purified. They must be those who know

  220. Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life and the ones that are

  221. filled with the Holy Spirit and then they are able to minister.

  222. This is one of the criteria we put that anybody can sing,

  223. anybody can play a musical instrument, and people will say,

  224. huh, why don't you make them do? Why don't you make them do?

  225. Do they know the Lord? OK, that's good.

  226. Praise God, they know the Lord. Are you filled with the Holy

  227. Spirit? They speak in tongues.

  228. And then we say sometimes we relax it for some more desperate

  229. conditions. But now everybody speaks in

  230. tongues here. And after that what we see is

  231. that they had to be holy. They had to be purified.

  232. They must their mind, their thoughts, how to be purified.

  233. I'm telling you, if we are not holy, you can play music, you

  234. can sing, it will be just a noise.

  235. And some of the people who come into the church, when they walk

  236. in, the first thing they notice and say is we feel the presence

  237. of God in Omega and we pray for it through the week.

  238. I say, God, we need a glory to fill the church.

  239. Let everybody feel your presence.

  240. We pray for it that the that the Lord will be here and minister

  241. to people when they walk into the church.

  242. So that is how the whole when when the city, the walls had to

  243. be purified. The people have to be purified

  244. and the whole city has to be purified because the holy city

  245. and that is what the church is today.

  246. Unfortunately, not every church is holy.

  247. You can say or I went into the sorns a place and there were so

  248. beautiful worship, but we didn't feel the presence.

  249. That's because they individually have to be set apart for God.

  250. They should set them just apart for God and say, God, Holy

  251. Spirit, dwell in me. Let my singing, let my music

  252. bring glory to your name. And as I yield to God, that is

  253. sanctified by the Holy Spirit and they will become acceptable

  254. to God. Am I speaking too much about

  255. these things? Just a minimum, standard

  256. minimum. And you will see another thing

  257. here is the word used here is song dedication with songs of

  258. Thanksgiving. Song in Hebrew is Shiv.

  259. Shiv is song, but this Shiv song is it is sung in praise.

  260. Usually it's poetic and prophetic.

  261. Songs are poetic and prophetic. They are not just words.

  262. So when you sing the songs, meditate on the words that you

  263. see on the screen. Meditate on the words and as you

  264. sing, that is how the Holy Spirit ministers to you.

  265. It's not just you sing, make noise, go away.

  266. No meditate on the meaning of the words you sing and the Holy

  267. Spirit who is inside you will say that is what I'm doing in

  268. your life. That is what I'm going to do in

  269. your life. That is what I'm doing in the

  270. church. He will witness in your spirit

  271. that singing that is involving your soul, your mind and your

  272. spirit in singing to God. So sheer is a Son.

  273. Praise, poetic and prophetic and then you have the word

  274. Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving you see several

  275. times in the scripture, I think in this chapter, maybe a dozen

  276. times, you'll see Thanksgiving. Without Thanksgiving, all your

  277. worship and praise is of no meaning.

  278. Thanksgiving is the at the center of the heart of a

  279. believer. You need to be thankful to God

  280. for everything. Even the breath that you have.

  281. You need to be thankful to God. And the Hebrew word used is

  282. teda. Theta is it's connected to

  283. another Hebrew word called yada. What is this Theta?

  284. And yada, It's basically when you are Thanksgiving, you are

  285. doing is what you do is you throw your hands.

  286. It literally says throw in your hands.

  287. You just move your hands up in the air and to God and say, God,

  288. I honor you. How many of us are so not?

  289. Don't want to, You just want to be static.

  290. Lift your hands up. Why do you have to lift your

  291. hands up? You do something with your body.

  292. Your spirit responds to what your body does.

  293. Your spirit responds to what your body does.

  294. That's the reason why you need to lift your hands up and your

  295. voice has to be out. Not mumbling, singing to

  296. yourself. No, you're singing to God.

  297. Actually, I found something interesting about singing to

  298. God. I was, I used, I used the song

  299. ABBA. In the song he says ABBA, it is

  300. so long unless you are a singer, you can't hold your breath and

  301. finish along with him. But one of the things he says in

  302. the first stanza is your thoughts define me and you dwell

  303. inside me. I said, If he's dwelling inside

  304. me, why would I have to say ABBA as if he's millions of

  305. kilometers away? I, I allow some a concession for

  306. it because that is just help you to connect with God.

  307. You're singing that way, but because he's inside living

  308. inside you, he starts to define you.

  309. He's so close. He's close on the skin on your

  310. bones, closer than the song on your tongue.

  311. Beautiful song. Every day I sing it.

  312. Every day I get new thoughts and that is the stamp of inspiration

  313. of the Holy Spirit. When God minister to you through

  314. a song, that is the sign that He inspired the song.

  315. Any new song you sing it, you hear it.

  316. First question to ask, has it ministered to you?

  317. Yes, Forrest Pit has inspired the song.

  318. So many songs you can sing and nothing happens.

  319. It's just a song, just a song. Anyway, let me move.

  320. When am I going to finish Harps, symbols, liars, you know, we

  321. actually need more people to use them instruments.

  322. So what actually happens here is what Neymar did later on.

  323. And you see here is in verse 40, it says 2 choirs that gave

  324. thanks then took their places in the House of God.

  325. So what he did, he divided them into two groups basically.

  326. So let's go to that map again, please.

  327. Not the other one. Go back.

  328. Oh yeah, that's the one. Now you remember this about what

  329. he said about the walls being constructed.

  330. First thing you see his name. I have went to inspect the walls

  331. in the night. He took a donkey with him and he

  332. started off from this somewhere here.

  333. Tower Howens and the Valley gate, that green thing on the

  334. left, he came down and he got stuck here and he had to leave

  335. the donkey there and walk because there was number.

  336. It was a rubble. He had to leave the donkey

  337. there. So, you know, the walls were not

  338. in a very good condition when he first came.

  339. Second, when they were rebuilding Sun Balan and Tobi,

  340. when they came to him. And what did they say?

  341. Hey, what are you doing? Even if a fox jumps on it, the

  342. wall is going to crumble down. That means its not going to be

  343. very strong. You're just wasting your breath

  344. and your energy. Don't continue doing what you're

  345. doing. The same walls.

  346. Now you have got people walking on the walls.

  347. One team begins from the valley gate on the left side of the

  348. gate goes down singing up through and they come up to the

  349. tower of 100. Just on the right you have

  350. another gate through the sheep gate.

  351. You enter into the temple and another team went from same here

  352. and Nehemiah accompanied them. They went up the north and came

  353. down through and enter the temple.

  354. There two teams and they are blowing musical instruments,

  355. halves, lion symbols, dancing joy.

  356. I tell you, it's glorious to imagine that though you, it

  357. happened so many hundreds of years ago.

  358. If you can just sit down and imagine the walls, 2.4

  359. kilometers covered by these two teams, maybe in an hour or so

  360. probably or because they are not just rushing, they are not on a

  361. running race, they are just walking on the walls praising

  362. God. They were sanctified, they were

  363. purified and everything. The walls are purified, people

  364. are purified, the priests and levers are purified, and the

  365. song they're singing is purified too.

  366. It assents to God and that brings joy to the people.

  367. That brings joy to the people and they enter in and the word

  368. they use is antiphonally. Antiphonally is somebody sings

  369. one verse and the other team stands opposite to them and they

  370. sing another verse and this people will sing the third

  371. verse. They sing the fourth verse 2

  372. teams together are singing there in the temple of God.

  373. Am I able to communicate something or what happened

  374. hundreds of years ago? I tell you, we need more people

  375. to do that, not just the same 2-3 people.

  376. We can't do that. We need more people to get

  377. involved in worshipping God and it is possible if we have a

  378. will, there's a way. OK, so let's just think about

  379. it, pray about it and see how we can be involved to worship God

  380. together. There has to be joy in it.

  381. Its not something I had to do it.

  382. No, there has to be joy in it. Cool.

  383. So now these people, the leaders of Judah go up on the top of the

  384. wall. I also assigned 2 large choirs

  385. to give thanks. One wants to proceed on the top

  386. of the wall to the right toward the Dung Gate Hosa, and he gives

  387. a list of people and the other one will go from northward and

  388. go into the temple and they meet together and worship God.

  389. Cool. Now why should this be done?

  390. OK, they did the dedication of wall.

  391. What does it mean? Dedication of the wall means

  392. that this city that was in rubble, walls burned down, gets

  393. burned down, walls thrown down, stones are all scattered.

  394. Now. God had given grace to rebuild,

  395. to make them feel proud of it. Basically, before there was no

  396. pride. You are living in Jerusalem.

  397. We are not proud of it because there's no protection.

  398. And now the city has protection and you can be proud that you

  399. belong to this place. And this is a place that God has

  400. put his name, the glory into the city.

  401. So now you're you're declaring something to the people around

  402. before you are ashamed, but now you are not ashamed.

  403. And instead you have got a lot of hope and you've got courage,

  404. you've got strength and faith. That is why you're dedicating

  405. the was it is a notice to all the enemies.

  406. Before they wanted to stop the building.

  407. They want to come and attack, but now it is complete and they

  408. cannot do anything about it. And I tell you, this is the way

  409. Jesus did upon the cross is he has done everything needed and

  410. he said he's finished. And when you know that it is

  411. finished, you know that the devil cannot do anything.

  412. You know that the snakes, scorpion, all the power, the

  413. enemy cannot resist you, they cannot resist you.

  414. Why? You are resting on the finished

  415. work of the cross. Your dedication of the temple is

  416. like that. What happened to the Jewish

  417. people with the dedicated to the temple?

  418. It should happen to you when you think of the cross.

  419. Cool. And then we see one more thing

  420. in verse 26. They served in the days of Joy

  421. Akim son of Joshua, son of Zozo Zardak, and in the days of

  422. Nehemiah the governor and Ezra the priest and scribe many small

  423. details. I'm not going to tell you the

  424. names of Ezra is mentioned in the first few verses and again

  425. here, but there are two different Ezras.

  426. They are not the same Ezra like that.

  427. So interestingly, next thing that we have to think about is

  428. Thanksgiving is very important and what you see here in verse

  429. 43. And on that day they offered

  430. great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great

  431. joy. The women and the children also

  432. rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in

  433. Jerusalem could be heard far away.

  434. Do people see joy on your face? Do people sense joy in your

  435. voice when you meet people when you go to work, how was how was

  436. your week? How was on a Monday morning you

  437. meet them? How, how was your week?

  438. Ah, just another week. There's no joy in it.

  439. But if you're a child of God, there has to be joy and that

  440. should be visible. But basically here what they

  441. have done here is they had given sacrifices, they offer

  442. sacrifices and then rejoicing because God had given them great

  443. joy. So joy, what is the source of

  444. joy? God had given them great joy.

  445. Has He given you the great joy? Can we rejoice in it?

  446. Yes. Amen.

  447. Then who rejoiced? Women, children also rejoiced.

  448. Oh, it's only not for men only, OK, It's for the whole family.

  449. Everybody has to rejoice because God is the one who is giving you

  450. the joy. And then sound of rejoicing in

  451. Jerusalem could be heard far away when they were singing in

  452. the temple. Far away, 2 kilometers, 3

  453. kilometers, they can hear the sound that is happening in

  454. Jerusalem. I tell you, this should be the

  455. experience of church. This should be the experience of

  456. the church when you worship people walk going on the street

  457. should hear that there's something happening here and

  458. they should pull their car, park the car on the roadside, come

  459. walking in to see why are these people making a noise here?

  460. Cool. And then you see here, when all

  461. these things were happening, people were became.

  462. Basically, when you become conscious of presence of God,

  463. when you want to respond to God, when you want to live for God,

  464. certain things happen. One of the things is giving.

  465. I don't know why I've been talking about giving so much.

  466. We don't talk so much about giving generally, but here you

  467. see, at that time men were appointed to be in charge of the

  468. storerooms for the contributions, first fruits and

  469. tithes from the fields around the towns.

  470. They were to bring into the storerooms the portions required

  471. by the law for the priests and the livers, for Judah was

  472. pleased with the ministering priests and Levites.

  473. So the people are happy with what the what is happening in

  474. the temple of God. And they were giving liberally.

  475. They're bringing their tithes first fruits, all kinds of

  476. offerings they're bringing. And now what they were doing is

  477. they performed the service of their God and the service of

  478. purifications as it also singles and gatekeepers according to the

  479. commands of David and his son Solomon.

  480. Now they had to appoint people to do this.

  481. So what they did was the Levites were scattered everywhere.

  482. So people will bring the tithes and offerings to the Levites and

  483. the Levites would take a tithe of it and bring it to Aaron's

  484. sons or the priests in the temple.

  485. And every need is met to run the temple to maintain it.

  486. Money would come through all these things.

  487. So there was number lack. What?

  488. Why is it important to study in Nehemiah chapter 12 about these

    Nehemiah 12 chapter mention

  489. things? Because the temple was not

  490. running as it should run. The walls were broken down and

  491. the gates were burned down. So now when that is being

  492. restored, the religion in general is also restored.

  493. When the walls are restored, religious life becomes restored.

  494. And they were happily giving to the Lord out of joy.

  495. And. One more important thing that we

  496. need to see here is that faith following generations through

  497. through intergenerational bridges, It is not just one

  498. people who live and enjoy God and they die and the faith

  499. disappears. No, it's not that.

  500. It is generation to generation to generation.

  501. It continues and we have to be like that.

  502. This is the model, scriptural model.

  503. We must pass on our faith to our children and they should pass on

  504. their faith to their children. It just goes on sometimes.

  505. In bidding May. Go wrong.

  506. I am not saying this is a perfect model, but may not

  507. always happen that way. But that should be the aim.

  508. That should be our prayer. Cool.

  509. Anything else? So many things I wrote down here

  510. but OK. Now what I want to share

  511. basically. Is we will go into the communion

  512. part, but before we go into the communion part, I want to share

  513. something. Can we?

  514. Have a scripture on the. Screen please.

  515. John, 663. I have been six chapter. 6 verse

  516. 63 I've been. Looking for our whole week?

  517. For this communion, we I'm quite.

  518. Excited to share with. You what God has been doing in

  519. my life and that is what he wanted to do through your life.

  520. 663 What basically happened in the beginning of the chapter you

  521. see that Jesus had multiplied bread and the fish and fed 5000

  522. people and people are longing for this bread and fish to be

  523. filled with. He said don't look for the food

  524. that perishes and ultimately in in one place.

  525. He said I am the bread of life. Moses gave them bread the your

  526. your forefathers aid manna in the wilderness.

  527. You thought Moses gave the bread.

  528. No, it's my heavenly Father who gave the bread to them and I am

  529. the bread that has come down from heaven.

  530. He. Was making big big.

  531. Claims and people are just cannot just assimilate or

  532. understand what he was saying to them basically.

  533. And then at one point he says, unless you eat my flesh and

  534. drink my blood, you cannot have life in yourself.

  535. And they said what? Are you promoting cannibalism?

  536. Do you want us to eat human flesh?

  537. He said. Ah.

  538. You're offended about. What I said, What if you see Son

  539. of Man ascend to the Father and be seated there on the right

  540. hand side? So what he was trying to say is

  541. you are not eating my physical flesh, you are not drinking my

  542. physical blood. But what I'm saying to you is

  543. metaphorical. You will have to learn to feed

  544. on me as you feed on the bread, as you eat your breakfast, lunch

  545. and dinner. You have to feed on my finished

  546. work on the cross. I have died for you to give you

  547. life, and you are going to make that your food.

  548. You're going to make that your drink.

  549. It is. If you stop eating for a week or

  550. two weeks, you're going to die. So you need to be.

  551. Feeding on me all the time and. In 663.

  552. He clarified and said, the spirit gives life, flesh counts

  553. for nothing. The words I have spoken to you,

  554. they are full of spirit and life.

  555. Now some of us may say, ha I know this verse.

  556. Did I know this verse? I do know the verse as well for

  557. a long time, but since about a month or so this has come alive

  558. to me. What?

  559. Does what did this was. Do to me when I'm facing

  560. difficult situations where I'm praying but not getting a

  561. breakthrough for people and when I'm casting your demons is not

  562. going, that's the time when one day the Lords brought this to my

  563. mind. I eat his flesh.

  564. I. Drink his blood.

  565. His words are they are full of spirit and life.

  566. I have His spirit in me. I have His life in me.

  567. He is the one who is dwelling in me.

  568. Because when He raised Lazarus, what did he say?

  569. I am the resurrection and life. So He is living in me.

  570. When I eat His blood, when I eat His flesh and drink His blood,

  571. by faith He is going to live in me, and when I.

  572. Remembered these things. And I said, I released that

  573. anointing of God in the name of Jesus.

  574. Bang the devil left. I saw it in, not.

  575. One case, second case, third case, 4th case.

  576. I said, oh, why did I not do this all these years?

  577. I've been a Christian for nearly 48 years now I'm learning this

  578. lesson that is never. Too late to learn the.

  579. Lesson. If you're younger than me, that

  580. is fine. Learn it now.

  581. Eat his flesh, drink his blood, Smith.

  582. Wigglesworth used to have comedian.

  583. Several times a day or two or three times, whatever number and

  584. lot of people have been influenced by human, they do

  585. communion every day and there's no power.

  586. My question is doing communion is not wrong or right.

  587. Is there power in your life? If that is missing, then you can

  588. eat any number of, not just a piece of bread.

  589. You can eat the whole loaf if there's no.

  590. Power. It's no good.

  591. So this is what I'm trying to say is you develop that

  592. consciousness that when you are eating his, the bread, piece of

  593. bread, you are feeding into his flesh and we will drink the

  594. juice. You are drinking his blood and

  595. you are receiving his life in you.

  596. And that life, when you release it, is going to open the eyes of

  597. the blind, is going to make the deaf ear down, speak lame walk,

  598. is going to raise the dead. Now next question I want.

  599. To ask is how is it useful to me?

  600. You might be asking, think of let's think of a food processor

  601. I. Say put the food processor.

  602. Here and switch it on and it's going on making 24 hours.

  603. Is it any good to you to run the food processor 24 hours?

  604. No. You want to make a dough to make

  605. the pizza. You check the flour and the oil

  606. and the salt and the water train.

  607. You start the machine one minute the dough is ready and switch it

  608. off and take the dough and proof it and then you make the pizza.

  609. What am I? Trying to say here.

  610. Use it as often as you need. It's not going to be buzzing.

  611. All the time in your house, 24 hours, because you have a

  612. machine there. You don't have to make it run

  613. all the time, but when you need to make pizza, you're going to

  614. use it. So when?

  615. You are praying for people. Become conscious.

  616. Feed on him, become conscious that is living in you and

  617. release the power and see healing happen, deliverance

  618. happen. You have the authority.

  619. To trade upon snakes, scorpion, all the power of the enemy.

  620. That's what we are going to do today.

  621. When you pick up the piece of bread and juice, come back to

  622. your seats after after we have partaken in it, you have eaten

  623. his flesh and drunk his blood. His life has come, his spirit

  624. has come into you. And then you are going to say I

  625. trampled down snakes carpet. All the power, the enemy

  626. principalities, powers, the rules of darkness become his

  627. high place. That problem that is challenging

  628. you, the job that is giving you trouble, the relationship that

  629. is giving you problem, bring it under the blood of crash and

  630. trample down. The enemy is not your wife or

  631. husband who is your enemy. It is the enemy that's devil.

  632. Trample him down and your relationship will improve.

  633. Is it? Does it make sense?

  634. Let's. Have a meaningful coming in.

  635. Today, OK, you can go to there are two tables, one on the back

  636. one here. You can feel free to go grab and

  637. come back to your seats and we will continue the thing.

  655. your name and in the authority of the name of Jesus.

  657. challenge of the health, that sickness or the relationships or

  658. the problems, whatever is really troubling us as we trample down

  659. snakes, swapping all the power of the enemy, set us free.

  660. Help us to experience answer to our prayer to the glory of your

  661. name. Thank you for your body and the

  662. blood in Jesus mighty name. Let's partake with Thanksgiving.

  680. dwelling in you and nothing can defeat you.

  681. Nothing can defeat you, nothing can defeat you.

  682. You are a conqueror in the name of Jesus.

  683. Let's give thanks. Let's be.
