You've tuned into a mega church. We are people hungry to
-
encounter God through worship and His Word being witnesses to
-
the world around us. We pray this teaching blesses
-
you and trust God will reveal Himself to you in a new way
-
today. And if you need prayer for
-
healing or breakthrough? Want to find out more about
-
Omega? Get to our website or Facebook
-
page through the links below. First thing you see here in
-
this, let's read the worst one, Paul, an apostle sent not from
-
men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father who
-
raised him from the dead and all the brothers with me.
-
Now this is a very unusual beginning of an epistle that
-
Paul makes so many times. He will be exuberant and he will
-
be praising God and for the people giving thanks for them.
-
You know greetings here the no greeting greetings come later.
-
It comes in to the churches in aggression peace to you was in
-
verse 3. It comes So what was the
-
pressing thing that is in Pauls mind.
-
Why was Paul under pressure to sidestep and not follow the
-
protocol of letter writing. You know who is writing to whom
-
they are writing in a greetings and then you start with the
-
matter. But here is something is
-
troubling Paul. What is troubling Paul is that
-
his apostleship was being questioned.
-
People are questioning the apostleship and saying, oh, are
-
you an apostle? No, no, no.
-
Did you, did you see Jesus Christ?
-
You know when we look into that scripture portion in Acts
Acts 1 chapter mention
-
chapter 1/22/21 and 22 when they want to select one more apostle
-
to replace Judas who had committed suicide, they put few
-
conditions. One of the things they said is
-
that apostle should be eyewitness from the time of
-
Jesus baptism by John the Baptist till he appeared to
-
them. Reason.
-
So that is one of the condition. But I think even among the 12
-
not all were witnesses, witnesses of John, the baptism
-
of John from the way I look at the study the scripture.
-
But from that point on they should be knowing Jesus.
-
The second thing they said is eyewitness of resurrection.
-
They should have witnessed A risen Christ.
-
And thirdly, appointed directly by reason Jesus Christ.
-
Then empowered by Jesus, you will receive power when the Holy
-
Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses.
-
Acts 1/8. When these things are all
-
fulfilled, then that person can be an apostle.
-
So with great difficulty they found two people.
-
They cost large selected one man called Matthias not almost has
-
so to be an apostle. There are qualifications, but
-
Paul says OK if they if these are the qualifications to be an
-
apostle to one who is born out of time.
-
He appeared to me also, he seen the reason Christ, but in a
-
vision as he was pursuing Judaism and he was persecuting
-
the Church and we was going to Damascus and then you know all
-
the story we have done when we studied the book of Acts,
-
basically many things that I want to say I am holding back
-
because I already have said it when we studied the book of
-
Acts, but I will remind a little bit here and there.
-
So he says he is an apostle sent not from men nor by man.
-
So two times the words used there is men and man is the
-
Greek root word is anthropos. Anthropos is in general for
-
mankind, not an individual man. Individual man is aner, Aner is
-
the Greek word for individual man and gynec or some word is
-
for the female if it is an individual female.
-
So here we see that it is not by man, not from men, not by man.
-
What does he mean by it? When he became blind on the day
-
Jesus appeared to him, he told him, go into the city, you'll be
-
told what to do. And he was waiting there for
-
fasting and praying for three days.
-
And God says to ananyas, go, there's a man called Saul living
-
in the street, and go and lay and lay your hands on him,
-
because he has seen you come and lay your hands on him to receive
-
his sight. He has become blind.
-
So was not Ananyas playing a very important key role in
-
Paul's life? But he has, he says, not by men,
-
not by man. So God can use people, but
-
behind the people is God. He's not trying to be ungrateful
-
to say ananyas. I don't care what he did for me.
-
He's not saying that. What he's saying is Gods hand is
-
on my life in my car. That's what he's saying.
-
And then and but by Jesus Christ and God the Father.
-
Now again he says he's, he's appointed an apostle by Jesus
-
Christ and by the Father. Now when he's saying these two
-
names together, what does he mean?
-
He's putting Jesus Christ on the same level as God the Father.
-
He's not trying to say 1 is lower, another is higher.
-
No, he's saying both are the same, both are equal, Co eternal
-
coexistent. You know, that's how the apostle
-
script goes, one of the apostle scripts.
-
So and he says God the Father who raised him from the dead,
-
who raised Jesus from the dead, God the Father.
-
And elsewhere he says I have, I have power to lay down my life
-
and take it back. So who raises himself?
-
He raised himself as well. And somewhere in Romans again,
-
Paul writes, he was raised by the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
Holy Spirit raised him up. So all three persons are
-
involved in every act of the life of Christ.
-
It is not just only one anytime. So here we have all these things
-
and and going on at the same time.
-
So again when you when you look at this kind of a thing you have
-
to observe the little little words in in that verse Paul and
-
apostle sent not from men from that little preposition from
-
says that it is a source. What is the source of his
-
apathership? Jesus Christ and God the Father
-
and then he says again by nor nor by man agency is not through
-
any man's agency but God himself.
-
I always wondered why is Paul taking so much of pain to
-
establish his apathership? Because you know he, he made
-
three trips, three I mean Pauls missionary journey 1-2 and three
-
we see it and then this letter is written to where does he
-
where does he say to the churches in Galatia?
-
So what are the churches in Galatia?
-
I have explained these things. When we did the study on Book of
-
Acts, when he particularly came to the area of Bithynia, the
-
Holy Spirit would not allow him to preach the gospel there.
-
Instead, he had a vision of a man from Macedonia saying to
-
him, please come and help us. So they set sail again to Troas.
-
Remember these things we talked about, you know, I have not even
-
referred to them yesterday or day before.
-
Anytime. It's all from this study of
-
acts. So if he did not go into
-
Bithynia, that's called, that area is called Northern Galatia.
-
But he went through Antioch, PCD and all those kind of places,
-
Troas, that is the Southern Galatia.
-
Now what is all this about? In 3rd century BC, the soldiers
-
came from France. Those days they should call them
-
Gaul, Gaul, Gaul. And they came and attacked and
-
came in, I mean in war. And some of them settled in that
-
place. And when the Romans came, after
-
three centuries and when the Romans came, they have formed
-
one big district or one big province, and they called it
-
Galatia. So all the little cities that
-
are there in that region, they are called Galatia.
-
So Galatia is not one city, it's a province kind of a thing.
-
So the question the theologians have is, is he writing to the
-
churches in the northern Galatia or the southern Galatia?
-
But in the book of Acts, we don't have much reference to
-
northern Galatia at all. So most of the churches he
-
mentions in the book of Acts is southern Galatia.
-
So most probably the letter is written to southern Galatia.
-
I do not want to have an argument about that part because
-
it doesn't really matter to us now whether it is that or this.
-
We have the epistle and which is the earliest of the episodes
-
that he wrote and because of, and this is also called a mini
-
book of Romans. It's called a mini book of
-
Romans. Why?
-
In this episode, Paul defends or proves that justification is by
-
faith. And you know, two or three days
-
ago we had Halloween, but that is the time Joseph was saying it
-
is the Reformation day. Every year the same day.
-
Reformation Day falls on the same day as Halloween, or rather
-
Halloween falls on the same day as Reformation Day.
-
People don't celebrate Reformation day.
-
Book of Galatians, Galatians is all about that.
-
And this book was very dear to Martin Luther, one of the best
-
books. I mean, he has written
-
extensively on the book of Galatians and Martin Luther who
-
brought the big revival called Reformation.
-
And one of the key things he mentioned is that we are
-
justified by faith, which was something went against the Roman
-
Catholicism that was prevailing at that time.
-
The Catholic Church was trying to sell indulgences, you know,
-
certificates and put money here. Your father died all long time
-
ago. When you put the money, he will
-
jump from here to here. All those kinds of funny stories
-
were going on at that time until Martin Luther said, no, we are
-
justified by faith. And that particular thing that
-
you see is more fully expounded in the book of Romans, but he
-
also expounds it in the book of Galatians.
-
So what they say is Galatians is the first episode he wrote, and
-
he developed the idea from the book of Romans, from writing to
-
Galatians. He got the idea and further
-
expanded it into another letter to Romans and which is more
-
powerful and more in depth and has a greater scope.
-
We all grow. Martin Luther grew in his
-
understanding. We also grow in our
-
understanding. It is all step by step.
-
So what is the problem here is he has gone through these
-
churches and preached the gospel, established the
-
churches. But when he is coming again, the
-
second journey or sometime he saw, he saw that people are
-
leaving the faith because some people who wanted to distort the
-
gospel came and were preaching a different gospel, which I am
-
going to talk about it next Sunday because that is there in
-
verse 7. Today I am hoping to finish only
-
5 verses. If I finish 5 verses, I'll be
-
very glad. So that was his problem.
-
So he's challenging these people.
-
Hey guys, have you forgotten? Why are you leaving the gospel,
-
the gospel that I preached and why are you changing your faith?
-
Why are you believing which is not a gospel?
-
So that was his concern for writing this kind of a epistle.
-
And with the gospel comes challenge to his apostleship.
-
Why? If people have to, if somebody
-
who wants to change somebodies faith, first you will attack the
-
man, they will attack the teaching, both at the same time.
-
So that is what they were doing here.
-
You're attaching his attacking his teaching and you're
-
attacking the man. So he's saying, hey, you can't
-
do it because God had called me. God has called me and nobody has
-
called me. He's the one who appeared to me.
-
He's the one who called me. He's the one appointment to an
-
apostle. What is apostle?
-
It's simply in the Greek it simply means sent one.
-
But Jesus applied it to his disciples and called them
-
apostles and he gave them a different meaning.
-
They are going to be his Commission commissioners, they
-
are going to be his ambassadors, they are going to be
-
representing Jesus and they are going to represent all that
-
Jesus taught, all that Jesus did, and they are going to
-
continue to do what Jesus did through their life.
-
And that is the reason why the word apostle has got a more
-
significant meaning, because of the meaning that Jesus put into
-
their disciples, whom we call apostles, and the way he used
-
them for the furtherance of the gospel and for the establishment
-
of the Kingdom of God and for establishing the churches.
-
That is the reason why the apostle has assumed a very big
-
meaning. But nowadays everybody calls
-
himself an apostle. I am not going into that.
-
But be careful. Whoever calls an apostle, I will
-
just, you know. So we have to be very careful.
-
I don't want to call myself an apostle.
-
No, I am not an apostle. I have seen Christ.
-
I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit.
-
I have seen Christ in a vision, but not that vision that you
-
know, the open vision. I have not seen Christ in open
-
vision. I have seen him in a spiritual
-
vision with my eyes closed. But open vision is when your
-
eyes are open. And that's why Paul lost his
-
eyesight because he saw the glory with his physical eyes and
-
he became blind. So I don't have this experience.
-
So I'm not an apostle. So I'm just.
-
So anyway, one of the things that is important to any church
-
is when there is a pastor, he should know his call.
-
If the pastor is not clear about his call, where is he going to
-
take them? It's like blind leading the
-
blind. So it's going to be a very, very
-
bad situation. So pastor should know that he is
-
called and very important and like Paul's relationship is
-
challenged, Moses relationship is challenged and in the
-
prophets were challenged like Jeremiah, he was challenged and
-
so many times you know they, I mean Jesus himself was
-
challenged and ultimately they crucified him.
-
So that thing is going to happen.
-
History will repeat itself. But we need to be careful what
-
we oppose. We need to be very careful
-
because there is a blessing in agreement which will be lost
-
when we don't agree. Cool.
-
So Paul and apostle sent not from men nor by man, but by
-
Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised him from the dead and
-
all the brothers with me. So here he doesn't tell who are
-
with him. Probably Barnabas was with him
-
or if it is a in the second missionary journey they split
-
and Silverness was with him or another name.
-
Many, probably Timothy was with him and a few other people were
-
with him. So Paul had this magnetic
-
personality that people are able to leave their home, their
-
business and things like that and follow him and preach the
-
gospel and support him, be with him.
-
It amazes me in those days who would you leave your home?
-
You don't know when you are coming back.
-
You leave your wife, your children, your business and say,
-
hey, I'm going with Paul. It is very, very scary
-
experience, at least to me to sit now and think of these
-
people following Paul. It scares me and I always ask
-
God, Lord, why don't I attract anybody?
-
Nobody believes me so much like anyway, just leave it there.
-
That thought and yeah, so he is graciously giving the Co
-
authorship to the people who are with him.
-
He's not just saying I am writing this letter, He's saying
-
I am called, I am called to an apostle.
-
But we are all writing together, including other people with him
-
in writing this letter. And now he comes back to the
-
usual standard. Grace and peace to you from God
-
our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
If you have heard me before, you know what I'm going to say,
-
isn't it? The grace is the Greek Paris and
-
the peace is the Shalom of Hebrew concept and he combines
-
them both and give makes a Christian greeting which is very
-
powerful in his depth and scope because grace is the foundation
-
for Our Calling. Grace is a foundation for us to
-
experience God. Grace is the foundation that is
-
drawing you to God. You cannot be drawn to God
-
unless he shows grace to you. And when he says peace, Shalom,
-
that's all-encompassing Shalom, peace, peace not just in your
-
mind, it is peace in your spirit, is peace in your soul
-
that includes your mind, is peace in your emotions.
-
There's peace in your health, peace in your body.
-
There will not be sickness, there will not be trouble.
-
There is peace. And I tell you, this is what we
-
need, grace and peace, everyone of us.
-
And that's Paul says to Galatians, yes, it is yours.
-
And when he says it to them, he is saying to us, grace and peace
-
is yours. Can we hear Amen, Amen.
-
From God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Again, he puts both of them together in the same thing.
-
So you have it from the Father and from Jesus, grace and peace,
-
who gave himself for our sins, who gave himself for our sins.
-
He is saying that Jesus gave himself for our sins.
-
But we know John 316. What does it say?
-
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, who gave
-
the Father. Father gave Son to die.
-
And here Jesus says, Paul says Jesus gave himself up to die.
-
Did the Holy Spirit say Amen? Was he there?
-
He was there when he was conceived.
-
He was there upon Mary so that Jesus can come into the world,
-
so that he can die. You know, this is just amazing
-
how you have the Triune God acting all the time, in every
-
act, every, every, every minute detail.
-
So he gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present
-
evil age. Everybody say rescue us from the
-
present evil age. Now rescue is a very big world.
-
Rescue is a very big world. Rescue is pulling someone out of
-
danger, forcefully taking them out of danger.
-
It's something like, imagine a house caught on fire and there's
-
a little baby there. What are you going to do?
-
You are going to rush through the fire, through the smoke, and
-
you're going to grab the child and pull the child out of the
-
danger. So you are going to do 2 things.
-
One is it is you. You are, you are pulling that
-
baby out of the danger. Is the baby saying please take
-
me off from here may not be able to say that, but you are
-
forcefully bringing the child out of the situation.
-
It is beyond your capacity, beyond your imagination even.
-
You don't even think you are going to live or you may not be
-
aware of the danger, but God says I rescue you, I rescue you
-
and the rescue. Did Paul experience powerful
-
rescue in his life? He did.
-
The way he was going, the road that on which he was going was a
-
murderous Rd., Rd. full of bloodshed.
-
And God rescued him from that kind of a situation or he
-
rescued him. So he knows what is to be
-
rescued from being distracted forever, his name being struck
-
off forever in the books of in the in the Book of Life, God
-
rescued him from going down that road and rescued him.
-
And then when mobs were attacking him, the centurion
-
rescued him, you know? Yeah, when he was talking to the
-
people, you know, people were wanting to kill him and they
-
surrounded him and they were trying to punch him.
-
And then the Century and orders his soldiers go bring him up
-
from there so that they lift him up from the crowd and bring him
-
inside. That's rescue.
-
He was rescued himself like that.
-
And then human agents become God's instruments of God's
-
productive purpose like that Centurion has become a even
-
though he was a human agent, he became a God's instrument to
-
rescue Paul from being killed in the situation.
-
And then in the in the in the life of Peter.
-
He was, he had wanted to kill him because he had success with
-
James and now he's OK. People are liking me what I have
-
done. So he puts Peter in the prison,
-
wanting him to execute him or to, you know, take his head away
-
after the festival and he was in the jail and you got 3.
-
It's a very high, high security prison.
-
And what did God do? The Angel goes into the cell.
-
He was asleep. He was very sound asleep and
-
people here in Mark's house, his parents house, all the people
-
are losing sleep and they are praying for him.
-
God rescue him, rescue him, rescue him.
-
And there's one said prayer is going on.
-
And this man, he was sleeping in a cell and the Angel comes and
-
taps him and shakes him and say get up.
-
He thought I am seeing a vision. I think he's in the days
-
condition. He's thinking he's a vision.
-
He's seeing a vision, and the fetus fell off.
-
He became free, and his coat must be hanging on a nail
-
somewhere there. He picks it up, puts on the
-
coat, and then the door opens by itself.
-
Then he comes to another door. The soldiers are all sleeping,
-
and that door opens and the last gate approaches the prison that
-
opens by itself. You know, that will be the most
-
heaviest door made out of iron, and even if you open, it will be
-
squeaking and making noise, and then that opens by itself.
-
And Peter was laid out and he walked few blocks and then the
-
Angel left him. And when he found himself,
-
probably he must have gone and hit the wall sidewall.
-
Oh, it's real. Oh, I thought it's a vision.
-
No, I've been rescued. That is a powerful world rescue.
-
So that is what Paul is saying, that Jesus Christ has rescued us
-
from the present evil age. Everybody say present evil age.
-
So what is the present evil age? What is the characteristic of
-
present evil age? He talks about in Ephesians
Ephesians 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2 as well. It is you are all dead in your
-
sins and trespasses. You know when when you are dead
-
in your sins and trespasses, when you are obeying the Prince
-
of the present, Prince of the power of the air, you are
-
basically when you don't have salvation.
-
You are under the grip of Satan. Satan rules your life.
-
If Satan dictates your likes and dislikes, he makes you like
-
things that are contrary to the will of God, and you get deeper
-
and deeper into sin and that is what is the picture.
-
And God rescues us from the present evil age and gives us
-
salvation, forgiveness and a new title, son or daughter of God.
-
And he says, Yo, I have put you my own righteousness upon you.
-
You are no longer a Sinner anymore.
-
What a great, what a great good news is it?
-
It is just goodbye to your past. You just look at the past.
-
Goodbye. I have nothing to do with you
-
anymore. No, that's amazing good news.
-
And that good news is being corrupted by the people saying
-
you need to undergo circumcision, you need to follow
-
Mosaic law, you have to obey the Old Testament laws.
-
And that's why Paul was very angry with the people who are
-
distorting the gospel. And he says, OK, you're
-
attacking me and attacking the gospel.
-
I am not keeping quiet. I am called by God.
-
That's why he had to put his foot down in order that the
-
gospel will be unhindered and will be restored because of one
-
man, Paul. We have the gospel today in its
-
purest form because even Peter compromise.
-
You see it in Acts chapter 15. The he also joined the people
Acts 15 chapter mention
-
who wanted to disturb the gospel and he questioned him to his
-
face, why do you do this? Why are you separating yourself
-
from the non Jewish people, Gentiles, and eating only with
-
the Jewish people? Because of that one event.
-
Today we have the Bible and the gospel in the purest form.
-
Praise God. We need to praise God for Paul.
-
You know, the more I think of Paul, I don't know.
-
I'm a fan of Paul probably. And when I go to heaven, maybe I
-
look for the first person I want to meet is Paul.
-
When he was on earth, he was not very impressive at all.
-
He was very short man with a nose like an eagle.
-
That's what they say may not be so bad, but must be cold and
-
long. And I'm not trying to put down.
-
But he says himself says in one of the episodes you are in
-
appearance, you think I'm not very impressive in person but
-
very forceful in writing. What he was trying to say is
-
that I'm not so impressive in in my physical being, but he was
-
very impressive when it comes to writing the letters very
-
forceful. The revelation full of
-
revelation and authority of God. You know the apostle is marked
-
by the authority of Christ when they say things.
-
This is what I see God is saying.
-
They are bringing the authority of Christ into their words.
-
But we don't do it like other people think, you say, some of
-
the people who, particularly evangelicals, when they
-
criticize the Pentecostals about the prophecy about revelation,
-
they say revelation has ceased. We have the complete Bible.
-
Why? You won't have revelation.
-
But even though the Bible is complete, you still have, you
-
need revelation to understand that.
-
Without it you cannot. But the revelation is not on par
-
with the Bible, but it is enhancing the understanding and
-
it gives you more depth, it gives you more appreciation to
-
the Word of God. And it impulse you, it moves
-
your will to obey the Word. And that's the work of the Holy
-
Host. And when we need that work of
-
the Holy Spirit in our life all the time.
-
So here we see that what kind of he talks about the present age,
-
evil age and there are two kinds of ages.
-
One is talks about the present age is marked by sin, decay and
-
Satan's influence. Second Corinthians 4/4 and
-
there's another age to come That's in the future when that
-
age is we talk about it is characterized by Christ visible
-
reign, righteousness and restoration.
-
There will not be any tears anymore in that age.
-
There will not be the regrets anymore because Christ restores
-
everything at that time. It is in future age, so the
-
present evil age shows itself in many different ways.
-
So I may have to run through quickly.
-
Just bear with me #1 is secular humanism and relativism truth
-
treated as subjective, undermining biblical authority?
-
You think so when I say you may say a long sentence, 30 minutes.
-
Oh, that's what you think. So that means I don't think so.
-
I don't think so. So you go and preach the gospel.
-
The look, the man, oh, you think so that means he's not thinking
-
like you. So that word you think so detach
-
detaches the man who's saying his word from what you're
-
saying, he's protecting himself. He's saying no, no, I don't
-
belong to that kind of a man. I don't believe in that kind of
-
a faith. So that's what it is.
-
So secularism, a secular humanism and relativism, there
-
are no absolutes. Second thing is materialism and
-
consumer greed. This is the age characteristic
-
of the present ages. Materialism want more and more
-
and more, we just want to buy. Nowadays, buying online has
-
become the way to shop. You know, so the long time ago I
-
prayed for a man and his parents, particularly the mother
-
was still alive at the time and she became sick.
-
And when she became sick, they called the ambulance.
-
And when the ambulance came, they could not enter the house
-
because she would buy things and keep them in the same packaging
-
in the house, full up to the door.
-
So they had to break open the door and enter the house, take
-
away things and they put her in the hospital and then she says I
-
want my things here. So they had to carry 10 or 15 of
-
some other things and put around the bed for her to feel little
-
comfortable. It's just a sickness when you go
-
on a shopping spree without the need for them.
-
We are yielding to sickness. We need to be careful, OK?
-
I am not trying to terrify anybody.
-
It just when we preachers talk about something extreme to make
-
you aware of something that can be done in a somewhere in the
-
middle as well. You know, it doesn't mean I
-
don't buy things, but I'll buy only when we need it.
-
So that's how it is. Particularly I see this one, you
-
know, so many times, you know, I see people, they have different
-
cupboard, their house is not enough because they have shoes
-
50 colors and they have got dresses 50 colors.
-
Matching hat should be red, dress should be red, shoes
-
should be red. Let's not talk about that too
-
much. You may offend somebody, but I
-
want you to have a decent understanding or decent dress.
-
Clean, not necessarily expensive also.
-
You just need to be clean. That's all you need minimum.
-
And I tell you, if you smell no it's not acceptable.
-
Cool. 3rd sexual confusion and immorality.
-
That's the present evil age. You talk to your 4 year old, 6
-
year old. They are just brainwashing them
-
in the kindi and in the school they are trying to say hey oh
-
are you a girl? What's your name?
-
Maybe you could be boy. Why are you not a boy?
-
No, they just confuse them purposefully.
-
We need to resist it. That's not right.
-
That's the spirit of the age. Culture of death, abortion,
-
euthanasia, violence is becoming normal.
-
You don't agree with the government, you are going to be
-
hacked. Your accounts will be hacked,
-
and they are going to put trouble, put you trouble.
-
Sometimes they may even arrest you.
-
And in many countries, though they are called democratic
-
countries, you have no freedom of speech.
-
That's the present evil age. Technological idolatry.
-
What can we say about it? Trusting algorithms, Data above
-
divine wisdom. You just want to trust to you
-
make your money when you're sleeping.
-
You have bought the trades on your behalf and makes money for
-
you. You know, I don't know how far
-
it is right or wrong, but I would not go for it.
-
Personally, I'm happy with bread and beans.
-
You know, I'm not really worried.
-
I should have roast chicken and roast beef and roast this and
-
all every meal. No I'm not worried about it.
-
You just need to live and when the times come in the future
-
when there's going to be persecution against the church,
-
if you have bread and beans you will be praising God.
-
Enjoy while you can at the same time, but not over indulgence.
-
The next thing is entertainment saturated with occult blasphemy
-
and a mockery of righteousness. It is spiritual.
-
It is very, very spiritual. I counseled a man whose
-
profession was to take the stem cells from, you know, the baby
-
and the mother. There's a umbilical cord and
-
then they take cells from the stem cells and using those
-
cells, he in the lab can grow whatever you want.
-
The person wants. He wants a liver.
-
They will turn those stem cells into a liver.
-
He wants a heart. They develop a heart in the
-
laboratory, Laboratory. And this is the job He was.
-
And when we prayed for him, he was manifesting a demon.
-
We cast it out and I said this is coming from your job.
-
And that man, he said, OK, if this is what it is, I am not
-
going back to my job. He's trying to find another
-
career now. IT science and technology, we
-
need to be careful. Not everything that is labeled
-
science is really science. It can be accord and without
-
your knowledge, the demon can work through that.
-
You need to have a simplified life.
-
That's all I would advocate. So we need to be very careful
-
how we live. So this is what Christ is
-
redeeming us, rescuing us in the present evil age from
-
technology, from sexual confusion, from materialism,
-
from humanism, and from entertainment saturated with
-
accord. You know, you go to Hollywood,
-
you know how much accord is in the Hollywood.
-
You are not part of the accord. You will not be successful.
-
Your song that you write, the song that you sing will not be
-
the top unless you are part of the accord.
-
Now, why do you want to listen to that song?
-
You're opening the door to the devil.
-
I'm not trying to terrify, you know, I'm not trying to put fear
-
in your heart, but I'm trying to say there is a way to live and
-
that is a simple way of living with the sane mind and a
-
peaceful heart and your flesh at peace with our sickness and with
-
peace in your mind. Oh, that's just amazing.
-
OK, it's almost time. I should finish.
-
Rescuers from the presently village account.
-
To the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever
-
and ever. Amen.
-
Now that is what I want to finish off with verse #5 To whom
-
be glory for and ever, ever. The word to very small letter
-
TO2 is a preposition that sets the direction that that just
-
gives you the direction of praise.
-
To whom are you going to praise? It says, To whom be glory?
-
The word whom? Who is referring to the Father?
-
Whom refers to Father? So our praise should be directed
-
towards the Father through Jesus Christ, through Jesus Christ.
-
And the next thing that you see there is all things come from
-
God and all things return to God.
-
Where were where were we before we came into the world?
-
I think it was one of the famous painters.
-
He painted Adam and Eve, but before he got created Adam and
-
Eve, he he, they were in the mind of God before they appeared
-
on earth. He took the mud, formed it,
-
breathed into them, and they became a living being where the
-
concept was. The concept was in the mind of
-
God. We all have our origin in the
-
thinking of God. Anybody who is an atheist is
-
here by God's thought. So we have origin in God and we
-
go back to God. You live your life, run this
-
life, and then you, when you finish breathing, where do you
-
go? Back to God.
-
All of us. There is no exception unless
-
Jesus appears suddenly and we are caught up.
-
That's the only way to escape death.
-
And I hope to do it one day. Do you have a hope like that?
-
Because He's coming very soon, whether it happens or not.
-
Have that hope because when you hope, when that happens, you
-
will be part of it. That's the way it is.
-
That's the way to think about it.
-
And then you see the word be. Is there a small letter called
-
be To whom be glory? What does the word be mean?
-
It is the infinitive in grammar, you know, verb that can be used
-
as ease was, you know, being and all kinds of words that you have
-
has, has been, and all those things come from that little
-
word be. So that is not just talks about
-
the present tense, but it is something that talks about
-
presenters all the time into the future.
-
B is never ending presenters. So your praise should be
-
unending today You are I cannot say like Mathias IR Mathias is
-
IR we say Mathias say I am no IR.
-
So anyway, that's children's grammar that's really great.
-
It just entertains us and refreshes us to see how they
-
learn the grammar. So the B is today you are and
-
you praise God, and tomorrow you are again and you praise God and
-
day after. So it has to continue till the
-
end of age. So that is how it is.
-
So the to whom be glory forever and ever.
-
When you say forever itself is long unending time, when you
-
have an and and ever, that little conjunction called and
-
makes it, it really exaggerates that forever, forever and ever
-
it will never end. And that is the reason why we on
-
Sunday want to worship God. We want to praise Him because
-
that is due to him. He is worthy of that praise,
-
worthy of that worship, forever and ever, forever and ever.
-
Everybody say forever and ever. So Christian is one who bases
-
his life with one objective, one purpose, one end.
-
That is to praise God, whether he eat or drink pulses.
-
Do it all for the glory of God. So we do those things.
-
Shopping also included, OK, by the way.
-
So everything you do for the glory of God.
-
And that's where I would like to stop this morning.
-
We have finished the 1st 5 verses successfully.
-
So praise God for it. Many things, I have not said it,
-
but I think that should be quite good.
-
So I'll just summarize it. Blessings of salvation back to
-
the Father whom we know personally.
-
Paul commands that glory we ascribe to him, highlighting the
-
brilliant glory that shines through the gospel.
-
This praise is not momentary, but forever and ever a ceaseless
-
song. The Saints will echo with the
-
final Amen. We align ourselves with this
-
eternal purpose. God gets every ounce of honor
-
now and without end. And everybody says, what do you
-
mean by that? I agree.
-
I agree. Amen.
-
Amen. So we will go into the next is
-
the convenient thing. We had a wonderful time of
-
communion in the camp. Anybody remembers it?
-
Yeah. So communion is again, not just
-
only a celebration, but it is something a time to affirm.
-
Affirm your position in Christ. Affirm the blessing that comes
-
to you because you partake in his flesh, eat his flesh and
-
drink his blood. And Jesus said they are my, my
-
words are life and spirit. So you don't have to feel it.
-
If you feel that's good when you eat the flesh, when you drink
-
the blood, you feel the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
Fantastic. Praise God, but if you don't
-
feel also you have that life and spirit and you have to act upon
-
it. You have to act upon it.
-
I'm telling you one of the number one weaknesses or
-
problems of Christians is they don't act on their knowledge.
-
You begin to act on any single verse of the Bible.
-
Your life will be different because God is looking for
-
people who will obey His word. His word stands for his
-
character. His word stands for His will.
-
His word stands for all that God is in essence that all that God
-
is, He put in this book Bible. And when you approach it with
-
reverence, when you, when you read it, when you believe it,
-
when you act upon it, life is released into your life and that
-
becomes a river of living water in your belly.
-
So as you partake in the communion, let rivers of living
-
water flow out of your belly and say, as I eat his flesh, drink
-
his blood, his life and spirit fill me, an overflow from me and
-
become a blessing, OK, I'll just get one of those.
-
Somebody bring it to me. I'll pray, and then everybody
-
can come and take it. Thank you, Lord.
-
Hallelujah. Thank you.
-
Let's first pray for the bread and the juice.
-
Father, we thank you for your Son Jesus, whom you gave as we
-
studied so that we may be rescued from the present evil
-
age. We thank you, Lord, for the
-
gospel of Christ. We praise you, We praise you.
-
We praise you for the life that is ours by believing in Jesus,
-
for the freedom that is ours for believing in Jesus, for the
-
righteousness that is ours by believing in Jesus.
-
We worship you, We honor your Lord Father, we thank you again
-
for this broken body of Jesus and the shed blood we praise and
-
we thank you as we partake in it.
-
Make it a participation in the body of crash and the blood of
-
rest as we eat his flesh, drink his blood, let his life and
-
spirit fill us and become a river flowing out of our belly
-
to the glory of your name. Thank you.
-
In Jesus name we ask, Amen. Thanks for joining us at Omega.
