-
The very first thing that I want to say is, in this new year,
-
imitate Abraham. Let us all say it.
-
I will imitate Abraham in the new year.
-
I will imitate Abraham in the new year.
-
What am I trying to say here is everyone of us with all our
-
problems, with all our the way we are made, we are wired up is
-
unique and we are called to walk like Abraham in faith.
-
In fact, his problems have drawn him closer to God.
-
His problem was very simple. He didn't have a son, he didn't
-
have a child. That was his problem.
-
He had money, he had men trained in his house.
-
He had a little army of 318 men at his disposal.
-
Anytime he want to go and fight somebody, 300 people will stand
-
up for him in those days. 300 is a good army, size of an army.
-
He had everything he wanted, Gold, silver, camels, donkeys,
-
sheep, name it, he had it. He was a wealthy man,
-
influential man, powerful man, but he did not have a child.
-
So the whole issue is whatever problem we have, God wants to
-
prove that is a living God in our life in the same situation
-
where we are in. But we need to have the same
-
kind of faith that Abraham had. When you have the same kind of a
-
faith, you shall overcome. You will overcome your handicap,
-
you will overcome your deficiency, you will overcome
-
your want, You will overcome the problem.
-
You will overcome whatever is challenging you.
-
Oh, you will overcome what is shaking your faith.
-
You will overcome your weakness. You will overcome is that
-
somebody will shout Hallelujah. So Abraham is a type for every
-
person in the whole world. Whoever wants to walk by faith,
-
he is a type for us. We had to look at him and learn
-
something. And just one characteristic of
-
Abraham is that he heard the voice of God and he believed it
-
and he followed him, he obeyed him.
-
That's all very simple. Everybody has a story, and your
-
story is valid and very important for the Kingdom of
-
God. I was born in a Hindu family.
-
I heard that Jesus is a living God at the age of 17.
-
Or sometimes I think I must have done mistaken calculation, maybe
-
16, and I said one simple sentence to God.
-
I said, I hear that you are a living God if you are a living
-
God, prove yourself living God in my life 48 years ago, still
-
going good. Oh yeah, I went to a Christian
-
camp. And where the doctrines of God
-
seen justification. Can we believe Jesus rose from
-
the dead? You know, is it credible?
-
All these things I heard over 3 days of time and then I knew
-
that they are saying that Jesus is a lie.
-
So I said all the Hindu gods were just.
-
Nobody talks about God being alive or living gods any
-
anytime. They just worship, that's all.
-
But they are all dead. Most of them are dead.
-
So that has drawn my attention. Oh, he's a living God.
-
If he's a living God, I must be able to experience there was
-
number Thunder or no vision or nothing like that.
-
Nothing happened to me. You know, I am just very most
-
unemotional experience is just to say to him, I want to know
-
you and then he takes me by my my hand and guides me step by
-
step. Its very simple.
-
You do not need to feel anything.
-
The whole thing is that we sometimes attach so much of
-
value to the feelings. No, the moment you can say no to
-
feelings and yes to faith, you will make big huge progress.
-
Like you may be very making depending on the feelings, you
-
may be making very tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny progress.
-
But the moment you say I don't care for feeling, you jump in
-
your life. Don't focus on feelings because
-
Abraham did not focus on feelings.
-
He knew the problem was there year after year for 2425 years
-
and again a God appears him at the age of 24 and he says next
-
year by this time you will have a son and it happened, but it
-
took him 2425 years of waiting before he had a son.
-
Not that he didn't have the sons.
-
He had Ishmael and he had much later.
-
Of course, he had many more children, but that's not the
-
important thing is son of a promise.
-
See, this is very, very key ingredient to understanding the
-
Gospel. The blessing is for son of
-
promise, not biological son. With biological son, Ishmael
-
would be the one who will inherit the promise.
-
But God said, no, I will give you a son in your own flesh.
-
He will be your own flesh, He will be your own blood, and I am
-
going to choose him to give the blessing and through you will
-
all the nations be blessed. That is just a big, big, big
-
promise, very big promise, and it is very difficult Even so
-
many times when I think of it. Why am I saying about Abraham is
-
Abraham is the father of all those who are going to believe
-
in God, in Jesus Christ. He is our father.
-
If you are believing in Jesus, Abraham is your father.
-
Just what a great blessing, but in a smaller way.
-
Everyone of us can be an Abraham to so many other people.
-
All your children who come out of you and all the people you
-
are going to share the gospel. All the people you are going to
-
pray for healing, all the people you are going to deliver from
-
the demonic attacks, they are going to be, they are going to
-
be a children. That is the reason why I say we
-
must imitate Abraham. We must imitate Abraham.
-
It's a big challenge. It's a very big challenge, not a
-
small one. The more you think about it and
-
more it will blow your mind. So we have started chapter 3
-
where Paul started answering some questions.
-
Some of the questions that he answered was some of the
-
questions he raised was why you are foolish.
-
That's how he started. You foolish Galatians, why are
-
you not using your brain? You have one use it.
-
And second thing he said is I would like to learn just one
-
thing from you. Did you receive the Spirit by
-
observing the law or by believing what you heard?
-
How did you receive the Holy Spirit?
-
That's a simple question. How do you receive the Holy
-
Spirit? Is it by obeying the law?
-
If it is obeying the law, for 1500 years they had the law and
-
nobody was filled with the Holy Spirit.
-
It is only those who believe in Jesus who receive the Holy
-
Spirit. So here is the thing.
-
Then again, are you so foolish after beginning with the Spirit?
-
Are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?
-
So what is he trying to say? Sanctification is by faith, not
-
by works. You will become holy by
-
believing in Jesus and the finished work of Jesus.
-
It is not by striving hard is not by striving hard.
-
There were times in my own life I would cry out to God, Jesus,
-
as you are saying, this is the gospel and this gospel is set me
-
free from sin and Satan. Where is the victory?
-
Why am I not walking in victory? And I would strive and strive
-
and fail and fail until God in His mercy ministers victory
-
through the Holy Spirit. And he puts you on a different
-
level. That is the minister of the Holy
-
Spirit by faith. When you have faith that he is
-
the one who can give you victory over sin and death and over
-
Satan, all your circumstances, when you have the faith, then
-
the Holy Spirit comes rushing into your spirit and puts you on
-
a level you cannot even imagine. You have to experience it.
-
Only then you understand what I'm teaching right now.
-
So there's an invitation for you to experience that victory.
-
Experience a victory. I want you to receive it by
-
faith. Even now, as you are listening
-
to me, receive the victory by faith.
-
Stop struggling. Lust of the flesh, lust of the
-
pride of life. Say to them, I am not fighting
-
you because you are already defeated.
-
You are defeated. You have no right to control my
-
life anymore. He has set me free from your
-
dominion. And when you say the statement,
-
the Holy Spirit comes rushing into your spirit again.
-
Don't look to the feeling, the word it says here, I believe it.
-
That is very, very magical, very, very powerful.
-
And then he asked them the another question, Why did you
-
suffer for this gospel if it is really, did you suffer in vain?
-
Was it of no use to you? No.
-
All these kind of questions we dealt with in the last message.
-
Now he launches into the in verse 5 he says, does God give
-
you his spirit and work miracles among you because you observe
-
the law or because you believe what you heard?
-
This is the verse I have struggled with all this one
-
month. I cannot go past this verse.
-
Every time I want to study and prepare for message I get struck
-
up with verse 5. I had so many questions.
-
I cannot go into all the details of the questions I had in my
-
mind, but it would stop me from going forward and study it more.
-
Because this verse says that God gives you His Spirit and works
-
miracles among you because you believe what you heard, the
-
gospel of Christ. It is by faith you receive the
-
Holy Spirit. Just tell your neighbor it is by
-
faith you receive the Holy Spirit.
-
It begins with the Holy Spirit. Life begins with the Holy Spirit
-
and ends with the Holy Spirit. It is not in between.
-
Again, you are carried by the Holy Spirit.
-
It is such a gospel, is the most powerful gospel for the simple
-
reason it is not human effort, it is not your human striving.
-
It is believing in Jesus and the Holy Spirit becoming your source
-
of power the moment you believe in Jesus.
-
This is the gospel. But somehow the church has moved
-
away from the power of the Holy Spirit and has come to believe.
-
Few statements say I am a Sinner.
-
Is nothing anything wrong with it?
-
No, we are Sinner. So we have to say I am a Sinner
-
and say Jesus, you died for me, come into my heart, forgive me
-
my sins, all good. Do they talk about the Holy
-
Spirit? No.
-
When you do that, he comes in. When you do that, he comes in
-
the same second the Holy Spirit comes in.
-
When you say Jesus, you are my Lord, I surrender myself to you.
-
He comes into your life. I'll tell you a simple, very
-
dramatic example. I must have told you before when
-
I went to Delhi, when went to the slum area, started preaching
-
and after preaching and start praying for people, one guy came
-
and stood in front of Maine and said I have a demon inside of
-
Maine. That is very easy, isn't it?
-
I don't have to diagnose, I don't have to go after.
-
He himself knows there is a demon inside of him.
-
Basically, he said Satan is inside of Maine.
-
The word in the local language is Saitan.
-
Saitan mere me hai. That means Satan is inside of
-
Maine. OK, started praying for him.
-
There was little movement, little swinging, and nothing
-
happened. I asked him after prayer.
-
I said, have you asked Jesus to come into your heart?
-
He said no. I said ask him to come in and
-
this Satan will go out. This Satan will go out the
-
moment you ask Jesus to come in. So I told the pastor, make him
-
pray in local language, Hindi language.
-
So he led him into the Lord by making a simple prayer of
-
confession, asking Jesus, forgive me my sin, I believe you
-
died for me. Come into my heart.
-
And then he stood again. I raised my hand in the name of
-
Jesus. They will come out and touch the
-
head. Bang.
-
He was on the floor. The devil left him and next
-
morning he brought 11 people and came to the church.
-
It was on a Saturday. I prayed.
-
Sunday morning he came with 11 people, wife, mother-in-law,
-
sister-in-law, brother-in-law, everybody.
-
He brought 11 people and before the same pastor would call him
-
for the Sunday service. Please come to church.
-
Then why should I come to church?
-
What will happen to my business? He had a couple of businesses
-
delivering water to different businesses.
-
You know, you, you don't get good drinking water in in some
-
place. You fill it up in a plastic
-
container and deliver it and they put on mount it on
-
something and drink water from it.
-
And that was his business and he had a pawn shop where he would
-
sell betel leaves and things like that.
-
He didn't bother about a business anymore.
-
He came to the church. So the point I am trying to make
-
is this, when you have an encounter with Jesus, the Holy
-
Spirit comes in to dwell in you. This is the truth.
-
This is the truth. We should stand upon it, but we
-
are not trying to. The next question I had was,
-
where is the place for the baptism of the Holy Spirit?
-
If He had already come in, why do we need baptism of the Holy
-
Spirit? Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a
-
second experience that is required for us to become tools
-
of God in His hand, to be empowered to receive the gifts
-
of the Holy Spirit, to minister to the body of Christ and to the
-
community. But the Holy Spirit comes
-
initially to give you salvation, sonship, to make you walk, to
-
hear his voice, to believe in him, to receive eternal life.
-
All these things are personal. But when it comes to serving
-
others, you need power to serve other people, and you need the
-
baptism of the Holy Spirit. Is it making sense?
-
Yeah. So if you have the initial Holy
-
Spirit really working in you, it will drive you to, I mean, long
-
for that power so that you can serve others.
-
It's very simple. Love your neighbor as yourself.
-
It's very hard to do it, very hard to do it.
-
But when you receive the power, you will do things not for
-
yourself. You go and lay hand on somebody,
-
pray for them. What is your benefit If he gets
-
healed? You go and say in the name of
-
Jesus, your day will come out and the day will comes out.
-
What is your benefit in it? It is to love your neighbor as
-
you love yourself. You want freedom, you want
-
salvation, you want healing, and you are giving the same thing to
-
other people. What can be more glorious than
-
that? There's nothing more glorious
-
than that. So we need the Holy Spirit, and
-
He is here to give us the power. So he begins the whole, I mean,
-
he begins to Marshall his arguments with Abraham.
-
So he says in verses, consider Abraham.
-
He believed God. It was created to him as
-
righteousness. You know, I also thought a
-
little bit about many other things along when I was reading
-
this. People have supernatural
-
experiences. People in general can have
-
supernatural experiences. Think for example, the founder
-
of Islam, He did not make it up in his own mind.
-
He had a spiritual encounter, but that was with not God, it
-
was not with Jesus Christ. That's the problem.
-
And he depended on those revelations he got and being
-
illiterate, did not know how to read and write.
-
He had to dictate his experiences and somebody else
-
wrote it. And that's how you have Quran.
-
So I asked the question myself is how do one, how does one know
-
that the experience they are having is from a genuinely from
-
God or from the devil? Buddha, he sat under a tree and
-
meditated and he had enlightenment.
-
Who gave him the Enlightenment? Not from God and that preceded
-
coming of Jesus. Before Christ came, Buddha was
-
on earth. So devil has a different way of
-
doing things he sometimes anticipates.
-
You know in a game of chess, you make a move before your opponent
-
makes a move. To make a winning move, you have
-
to make a winning move. So he did that in history by
-
touching this guy Buddha by after Christ came 600 years
-
later, he again played the same game and encountered with
-
Muhammad. And you have already India, more
-
than one, one and half, nearly one and half billion now are in
-
the control of the enemy because they do not have the truth.
-
They don't have the truth. And you've got Islam, you've got
-
Catholicism and everything. He has not just one angle.
-
He's not attacking. Humanity is 1 idea.
-
He has several ideas to attack, but the Gospel is only one idea.
-
If anybody wants real life, real eternal life, there's no other
-
way. Only one way that is through
-
Jesus Christ. Does it make sense?
-
But when Abraham heard the voice of God, he believed God.
-
He believed God, and God did not talk to him about metaphysical
-
realities. Look at the sun, look at the
-
star. You know how much distance it
-
is. He, Abraham, was a
-
mathematician, remember? And when God was a test him, he
-
took him outside and said count the stars.
-
Hey, you think you know math? Come on, count the stars.
-
If you can count the stars, you can count your descendants.
-
So that is how God speaks. So when he spoke to him, he
-
spoke to me about the problem. I am going to give you the land
-
on which you are here right now. I have brought you from the land
-
of Mesopotamia which is also a place where God of Eden is
-
supposed to be in the area of Mesopotamia.
-
So from the same area he picks up a man and puts him in a
-
different place that is in Canaan and he says this land is
-
not yours but I am going to give to your descendants.
-
Its not going to happen in a day.
-
It will happen after 400 years, 4 generations.
-
They are going to be slaves in Egypt.
-
They will come back here. I will give them the land and
-
Abraham said I believe. What did Abraham say?
-
I believe you. Is he going to get it?
-
No. Is he going to see it?
-
Yes. He says walk up and down this
-
country the way you are, everywhere you walk, I'm going
-
to give to you and your descendants.
-
He walked, he saw the land, but he never possessed it yet he
-
believed. That's the reason why Abrahams
-
faith is very, very superior to anybody, any common man's faith.
-
Can you believe when you don't see what God is promising you?
-
Can you believe him? When we walk into this year
-
2026, I asked God, God, show me what?
-
What? What are you?
-
What do you want to do? What do you want to do?
-
In year 2026 I didn't hear anything.
-
I prayed day after day after day.
-
But what I am brought to us that God gave me a vision.
-
Before we started Omega, God gave me a vision and I saw a
-
lighthouse by a beach and big lighthouse.
-
There is a beach there and then I heard a voice saying tsunami
-
will come, it will sweep through the churches.
-
So I believed even today I believe, do we see it yet?
-
See, we only have countable number of people today.
-
There is nothing to boast about. That is where faith comes.
-
You've got to believe when you don't see it.
-
You've got to receive it when you don't see it.
-
You've got to stand up on it when you don't see it.
-
Then it will come. When it has to come, it will
-
come because God is a God who will fulfill every word.
-
He spoke to me in the year 2000, said build the church for me.
-
And he made it possible in 2019. And we started in the church,
-
the church in 2020. So 20 years.
-
So I don't know when this is going to happen, but I am
-
inviting this thing that God wants to do in and through
-
Omega, that tsunami, I stand upon it, I receive it, I see it,
-
I praise God for it. And I tell you, we as a family,
-
sometimes you, you come here and say, ah, that pastor is talking
-
about a vision. No, I don't care about it.
-
I don't believe it. I it must be his own
-
imagination. He thinks God spoke to him.
-
I will tell you it will not benefit you or the church
-
anyway. If you want to benefit, if you
-
want to be a benefit to yourself and to the church, you better
-
believe what the pastor is saying.
-
Otherwise it is of no benefit to anybody gathering here, putting
-
your money here, coming for prayer meeting Bible say it is
-
of no use. Omega has one purpose that is to
-
become an end time church to be a witness to Jesus Christ.
-
In this end times when the when the doctrinal divisions are
-
rampant, you open the YouTube. There are nobody there who is
-
really serving God. Many people, 90% of them, they
-
are serving Satan in the name of Christ, the healing Kasigo
-
demons, the prophesying by the power of the enemy, the devil.
-
90% You may say, how do you know?
-
90% because over years I have been following, studying,
-
looking at them, their life. When you look at their life, you
-
will see 4 characteristics #1 they will compromise with money,
-
number 2, they will compromise with sex, they will purity and
-
they will be compromising and exalting themselves.
-
I am the number one prophet. I am the major prophet.
-
There is nobody else in this whole world, only I am the main
-
prophet. You exalt yourself.
-
You are a false prophet. You are a false prophet.
-
You put these three things, four things in your mind when you
-
look at any anybody on the YouTube and you will after 5
-
minutes say this guy is a false one.
-
This guy is a false 1A tree is known by its fruit.
-
Jesus said a tree is known by its fruit.
-
It can be massive, it can be green, it can have branches, it
-
can have anything it can have, but the fruit is not good.
-
Then the tree is good, not good. It's very simple.
-
So apply these principles. Wake up, don't believe
-
everything you see on YouTube or Facebook or anything.
-
Apply this test. Are they holy?
-
Are they pursuing God? Are they helping people to grow
-
in holiness, knowing the Word of God, obeying, obeying the word
-
of God? And do they bear fruit, good
-
fruit, holiness, righteousness, goodness?
-
No, no, no, no. If they are only trying to
-
compromise about money and having multiple partners apart
-
from the wife and they have compressed me with money and I
-
want to boast about their power. No, they are false prophets.
-
You know, this message is going on the podcast.
-
Anybody who listens to this message are going to question my
-
message. I stand on what I say because I
-
believe that I am speaking for God this morning and here 2026.
-
I want all of us to pursue God in holiness, in reverence, in
-
obedience, and bearing fruit that will bring glory to His
-
name. Be holy, for I am holy, said the
-
Lord. So we had to be like that.
-
So here we see Abraham believed God when he had nothing to
-
really believe. He believed.
-
It is so hard sometimes, you know, before I got married.
-
You know that I believed that this is Gods will, that I should
-
marry Seema, you know, and I would pray and pray and pray.
-
Year after year it goes on. It never was.
-
I had never saw a day when it is going to happen.
-
And there was a time I said no, it is never going to happen.
-
But I had no other option to stand except on that.
-
I said this is what you said, oh God is your will.
-
So I stand up on it, I stand up on it, I stand up on it.
-
And after 8 long years we got married.
-
But those eight years it was very difficult time, not easy
-
time. It wasn't easy time.
-
So what I'm trying to say here is every problem of years God
-
will come through to demonstrate that He is reliable, that His
-
hand is upon your life, that He is blessing you, that is guiding
-
you, that is ordained your life. There is no tear that you shed,
-
which is irrelevant to God. There is no pain that you are
-
going through. God is not concerned about.
-
He wants to see set you free from that pain.
-
The tears from your eyes, He wants to wipe it out.
-
He wants to prove that He is a living God and that's what He
-
did to Abraham because he believed in Him.
-
Welcome to experience this God. Open invitation to experience
-
this God in your own personal struggles.
-
He wants to prove that He is God.
-
He is God. So next thing that we see here
-
is that in verse 8, the Scripture foresaw that God would
-
justify the Gentiles by faith and announce the gospel in
-
advance to Abraham. Scripture foresaw.
-
This Bible foresaw what is. Can Scripture foresee
-
everything? What is what?
-
What does Paul mean when it says Scripture force?
-
Scripture force is God force. God force is what Scripture
-
force am I communicating here? Whatever you see in the Bible,
-
God is saying it. Whatever God is saying is in the
-
Bible, So Scriptures itself, inanimate book, it has no life
-
in itself. But the words are full of life.
-
The words are full of life. If you believe one single verse
-
in the whole Bible, your life will not be the same.
-
One single verse can change your life completely because there is
-
power in that word. It is God breathed.
-
Is God breathed? So you have Peter saying the
-
same thing, Paul saying the same thing in second Table 316.
-
All scripture is God breathed is used for this, this, this, this
-
and no, no prophecy has come by itself, but men have got were
-
moved by the Holy Spirit. That's what Peter writes.
-
So the word is having life of its own.
-
But what the Bible says is what God says.
-
So he's The Scriptures foresaw that God would justify the
-
Gentiles by faith and announce the gospel in advance to
-
Abraham. So the gospel is given to
-
Abraham in advance. Hey, man, don't think you are
-
living a life of your own. No, no, no.
-
You will become a pattern. You will become the forefather
-
of all those who believe. And the whole world is going to
-
believe in the salvation. I'm going to bring through your
-
descendant, the seed, singular seed, Jesus Christ.
-
And I'm going to bless the whole world through that seed.
-
And the gospel is given to that man because he believed in God.
-
I'm telling you your faith. You may think I'm a believer, I
-
live and I die, I'll be gone. No, you are a believer and you
-
are. You are.
-
You are becoming a partner with the living God and you are going
-
to impact. You are going to leave your
-
imprint behind you, which is going to bring glory to God.
-
It could be your children. It can be the colleague you
-
share the gospel with. It can be the man on the street
-
you meet and stop him and say hey Jesus loves you and that man
-
hard. I never knew Jesus loves me.
-
You have said it. Thank you very much for saying
-
to me. I want to believe this Jesus.
-
That imprint will remain and it will be rewarded.
-
It will be rewarded. So your life is not to be lived
-
in isolation, but it is inclusion.
-
Gods plan includes your experience, your struggle, your
-
pain, your joy, your everything. All nations will be blessed
-
through you. So those who have faith are
-
blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
-
If you have faith, that's the only ingredient you need.
-
It doesn't say you need to have intelligence, you need to have
-
money, you need to be wealthy, you need to have business, you
-
need to have no, no, no. These are not the things that
-
are qualifying anyone to receive this.
-
We must have faith. That's the currency of heaven
-
and when you have faith you are going to change the world for
-
yourself and for many people. The whole question is, is our
-
faith a living faith or a date faith?
-
Sometimes we are happy to have the five minute morning ritual
-
read ones simple portion or follow through. 5 minutes done.
-
You put the alarm. OK, I stop at verse 13 because I
-
could read only 13 verses today in 5 minutes.
-
That's enough for me, not more, not less.
-
And then say a simple prayer, God bless this day, bless my
-
business, bless my family, bless my children.
-
You get up and go and that's what you do week, day after day
-
after day. That's a dead faith.
-
I would call it dead faith. Living faith takes God at His
-
word and believes Him and says, what do you want to do?
-
Through my life? I surrender myself to you.
-
I yield myself to you. And when you do that, the Holy
-
Spirit says, yes, I have been waiting for you to say that.
-
I have been waiting for you to say that.
-
And He takes your life over and it is going to be different.
-
It will not be the same. So he says about the verse 10 to
-
14 is all about how the law became a curse, not a blessing.
-
Law brings a curse, not a blessing.
-
So all who rely on observing the law are under a curse.
-
For his written cursed is everyone who does not continue
-
to do everything written in the book of the Law.
-
What exactly it means is actually quoting from
-
Deuteronomy, I think chapter 27. The law is given for us to obey
-
and it says anybody who does these things will live by.
-
It is not in vain. God did not give a law that will
-
not give life. But the problem is no one can do
-
it 100%. You tell lie once in your life,
-
the rest of your life you do whatever the law says.
-
You have failed already. 1 instance of breaking the law
-
brings the curse, not a blessing.
-
Now the next thing that you see here is clearly no one is
-
justified before God by the law because the righteous will live
-
by faith. See this is the the most
-
powerful sentence that Paul writes here is OK law is going
-
to bring curse. Then what is the answer to it?
-
The answer is no one is justified before God by the law
-
because the righteous will live by faith.
-
This is the same thing you see in Romans chapter one verse 17
-
that just shall live by faith. It is the same thing you see in
-
the book of Hebrews is the same thing you see in the Old
-
Testament. A prophet called Habakkuk, he
-
says the just shall live by faith.
-
So in so many different places God has put the same words
-
progressively making it clear to us, what does it mean to
-
believe, what does it mean to become righteous, what does it
-
mean to become righteous? And how to have faith and be
-
righteous? So the law, the righteous will
-
live by faith. The law is not based on faith.
-
On the contrary, the man who does these things will live by
-
them. Christ redeemed us from the
-
curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.
-
Now this is the most central idea that Paul is developing.
-
OK, you have the law. If you do it 100%, you are going
-
to live by it, but you cannot do it becomes a curse to you.
-
How do you go? You have to have faith.
-
The just shall live by faith. The righteous will become.
-
The righteous shall live by faith.
-
And those who walk in faith are the ones who are going to become
-
righteous. If that's what it is, Jesus
-
steps in and he fulfills the law 100% so that and he dies upon
-
the cross because it is written. Crust is anyone who hangs on a
-
tree. Was there a tree on which people
-
used to hang before? Yeah, they should stone people
-
to death first. First they will kill the person
-
for offending and then they'll hang up on a on a pole as a
-
lesson to everybody. So they should not do anything
-
wrong. That's what they should do in
-
the Old Testament times. But in the case of Jesus Christ,
-
He was put on the cross alive. He was not dead and then lifted
-
up. He was put alive upon the cross,
-
nailed to the cross, and He suffered and took the pain so
-
that that curse that comes to the law may be broken because of
-
His obedience. You are set free from the curse.
-
He became a curse by hanging up on the cross alive, not dead.
-
That's the difference between the Old Testament execution and
-
the New Testament Roman execution.
-
They don't kill and then hang on the cross.
-
They hang on the cross until they die.
-
So Jesus experienced it so that we can be set free from the
-
curse of the law. It is a costly, very, very
-
costly price that he paid so that we can be a blessing.
-
How? Not by doing the law, but by
-
believing in Jesus. You believe in Jesus, you
-
believe in Jesus. That's all you need to do to
-
receive this righteousness, to be accounted righteous, to be
-
received by heaven, received by God.
-
All that you need is just that faith in Jesus Christ.
-
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might
-
come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, not only for
-
Gentiles, even for the Jews, the same thing applicable.
-
Everybody has to come by faith in Jesus Christ.
-
That's the reason why he says, you know, when he when he talks
-
about Abraham, he actually saying, when did he receive?
-
When was his faith created as righteousness to him?
-
Was it before circumcision or after circumcision?
-
You see this verse 15-6, Genesis 15-6 Abraham believed God.
-
It was a record of righteousness.
-
Genesis 15-6 And then you have Genesis chapter 17.
Genesis 17 chapter mention
-
In Genesis chapter 17, he was circumcised and all the family
Genesis 17 chapter mention
-
was circumcised. Genesis 17.
-
I'll read from verse 23 onwards. On that very day, Abraham took
-
his son Ishmael and all those born in his household are bought
-
with his money every male in his household and circumcised them
-
as God told him. Abraham was 99 years old when he
-
was circumcised and his son Ishmael was 13.
-
Abraham and his son Ishmael were both circumcised on this very
-
day and every male in Abraham's household, including those born
-
in his household are bought from a foreigner was circumcised with
-
him. Why is going so much extensively
-
writing about it? Because it is what defined a
-
Jewish male on the if they are born on the 8th day, they will
-
be circumcised. They've take pride in it.
-
We are circumcised people and they call the Gentiles
-
uncircumcised people uncircumcised because they don't
-
have a covenant with God. They are not having a covenant.
-
They don't have a deal with God basically.
-
So he received circumcision as a seal of his faith.
-
He did not have, He was not justified because he was
-
circumcised, justified because of faith.
-
So faith preceded it. That's the reason why Paul did
-
not begin with Moses. He did not talk about all these
-
things. Oh, Moses gave us A10
-
commandments. He didn't start there.
-
Instead he started. He went back 400 years or more,
-
little more than 400 years and went back to the life of Abraham
-
because he was not having the law given to him yet.
-
And he was justified because of the faith.
-
And he becomes the role model for every man and every woman in
-
the world and they are going to be justified by faith in Jesus
-
Christ. Does it make sense?
-
Gospel, you know, gospel does not make sense until we
-
understand the Old Testament, the background because he's
-
embedded in it, and until we understand how God was revealing
-
little by little. The force of the gospel does not
-
come through anybody. You can stop on the road and
-
say, hey, Jesus died for you. He loves you.
-
Do you want to believe him? He says, hey, I want to believe,
-
OK, Ask him to come into your heart.
-
Ask him to forgive your sin. He doesn't fully understand the
-
gospel at all, but he still receives life.
-
He still receives life, the eternal life he receives by
-
faith. But you want to appreciate it.
-
You want to understand the depths of God's wisdom, his
-
power and his glory. That is by studying the all that
-
is there in the Scripture. And then it hits you, the
-
revelation hits you with power, humbles you and says, God, you
-
are so awesome. So what he began in chapter 3,
-
verse 2, what did he begin there?
-
In verse 2 he talks about, I would like to learn just one
-
thing from you. Did you receive the Spirit by
-
observing the law or by believing what he heard?
-
In verse 2 and verse 5, what does he say?
-
Again, verse 5, he says, does God give you His Spirit and work
-
miracles among you because you observe the law or because you
-
believe what he heard? You believe what you hear.
-
You believe what you hear. If you don't hear, you believe
-
nothing. That's the reason why gospel has
-
to be shared, spoken so that somebody can hear and somebody
-
can believe. And then now he comes down to
-
verse 14 and he says, what does he say in verse 14?
-
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might
-
come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith
-
we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
-
By faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
-
It begins with the question, have you received the Spirit?
-
And it ends with, if you believe, this is the, this is
-
the dynamics, this is the process God had gone through.
-
This is how he qualifies you. This is how he accomplished it.
-
So if you believe it, you are receiving the Holy Spirit.
-
I'm telling you, this is this is it.
-
This is the gospel in fullness, that we believe and receive the
-
Holy Spirit, and that Holy Spirit is given as a deposit.
-
And then when you say God, I need more power so that I can be
-
a witness for you. And you receive the baptism of
-
the Holy Spirit. You have dunked in the Holy
-
Spirit. And then you receive the gift of
-
speaking in tongues, which is a sign.
-
And the is it possible for someone to be filled with the
-
Holy Spirit, baptize in the Holy Spirit, not speaking in tongues?
-
Maybe I am not too sure about it.
-
I cannot say 100%. I believe that.
-
But you already have the Holy Spirit sometimes.
-
Therefore the deposit itself can do a lot more than you imagine.
-
Somebody can function on the deposit.
-
I want to, I want to function on the fullness.
-
Am I making sense here? You have 100,000 deposit to buy
-
a house and you you rest of your life.
-
You can think you bought the house, but the house cost $1
-
million, so you have to pay more, you have to put more into
-
it. And God says this more is here
-
for you to own the house. I want the whole of the money.
-
I want the whole of the house. I don't want to be happy with
-
just one hundred 100,000. Am I making clear here?
-
So we need more of the Holy Spirit and it comes only by
-
faith. You just have to come to Him and
-
say, God, you have promised more, come into me now.
-
Fill me now with your Spirit. All that you have to say.
-
You don't have to feel anything. I'm telling you again, you don't
-
have to feel anything, but God is mercy.
-
He gives you feelings. He gives you that warmth.
-
Your body will feel warm, so the top of your head to social of
-
it. You will feel the flushing of
-
the Holy Spirit and you will feel warm and sometimes you may
-
shake, sometimes you may jump. Sometimes something may happen
-
and nothing happens quietly. You feel, you feel that warmth
-
washing over your belly becomes warm and you, you will know that
-
you have been touched by God. You are touched by God and hang
-
on to it. Everything is by faith.
-
Everything is by faith. You speak in tongues by faith,
-
you pray for healing by faith. You cast out demons by faith.
-
There's nothing that you do without faith, but you have to
-
believe it. When you say I want the Holy
-
Spirit, you have to believe that he gives you the same second you
-
don't pray God. I want to.
-
I want you to dunk me, the Holy Spirit.
-
I don't think anything happened. Now when I was baptized, people
-
told me some stories about being baptized by the Holy Spirit as
-
well. So I expected something is going
-
to happen. They put me in the water, pulled
-
me out of the water. I didn't feel anything.
-
I didn't feel anything for several reasons.
-
One, the church in where I was baptized didn't believe.
-
They didn't believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
-
They didn't believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
And when the preachers who are baptizing you don't believe in
-
it, you are not going to have any experience of that where you
-
only can receive what they have. So I didn't feel anything.
-
They sought it for many years and then when somebody wanted to
-
really pray for me, they pushed me down.
-
Instead of Maine falling down by the fall of the Holy Spirit,
-
they pushed me down. I was disappointed, but
-
ultimately overcame everything by faith.
-
I said Now I believe one day I had to tell God, I always have
-
doubted that you have baptized me with your Spirit.
-
But today, from today, I don't want to doubt that I have been
-
baptized by a Holy Spirit. And next evening the Holy Spirit
-
spoke to me 33 years afterwards. You can be a Christian for any
-
number of years, but we need to overcome the doubt.
-
We need to overcome unbelief and say here am I, I believe, I
-
believe, I stand on it, here they will stand up on it.
-
I am saved, I am delivered. You cannot have any power over
-
me. I stand by faith and I am going
-
to shake you. You cannot shake me grace
-
suffer, shall not be, shall not stand against me.
-
I am saved, I am healed, I am filled with the Holy Spirit.
-
I shall walk in power because the Spirit of God is living in
-
me. Its up to you how you arrived
-
there. You believe it, you take it.
-
No one can force you. This is a holy ground.
-
You have to say. I take off my shoes and step
-
onto the holy ground. It's by faith.
-
You will see the burning Bush by faith, not by your feeling.
-
Shall we pray? Father God, I thank you for your
-
word. Thank you for the challenge I've
-
given us for the year 2026. We thank for the vision you gave
-
me a few years ago that you're bringing a tsunami.
-
It's going to sweep through the churches, go through the
-
churches. It's going to shake Canterbury,
-
it's going to shake Selwyn. It's going to shake the South
-
Island. It will shake the whole of New
-
Zealand and spill over it to the rest of the world.
-
I believe, I believe, I believe you have spoken to me and I
-
believe you will do it in your time.
-
And I'm only asking you, my Father, God, the one who is the
-
in charge of the harvest, lot of the harvest.
-
I am asking that you send people here to the glory of your name.
-
Send people whom you have chosen, send people whom you
-
have chosen to shake the world. Bring them here, give faith,
-
fill them with the Spirit and make the mighty men and women of
-
God to the glory of your name, that they may go and impact the
-
whole city to the glory of your name.
-
Thank you Jesus, for the vision and let the church catch up with
-
the vision and say I want to see that revival come.
-
I want the tsunami to come. I want to be part of it,
-
everybody to have that hunger and thirst.
-
And of all, I pray that they may decide to have this experience
-
of being filled with the Holy Spirit and not doubt it, not
-
doubt it. Let them say to you, I will not
-
doubt it anymore. You have filled me with your
-
spirit and walk in faith, speak in tongues by faith, cast out
-
demons by faith and heal people by faith, because that's your
-
plan. And I worship you, honour you,
-
Lord Father. Now somebody here says, says no,
-
no, I want to make something. A remarkable thing I want to do
-
in my life is to say I will not doubt God anymore.
-
I want to believe that He has filled me with His Spirit.
-
Just stand where you are and I am going to pray for you.
-
Santakarani mahastare sharastare kasurono manarashi Bandarano,
-
this Tana Masakuruni. I will not doubt that I am
-
filling the Holy Spirit anymore. I want to walk with the Holy
-
Spirit. I want to be guided by him.
-
I want him to put his hand up on me.
-
I want him to steady my walk, my gate, In the name of Jesus
-
Christ of Nazareth, I really come.
-
I mean bring your children, my father.
-
Those who want to not doubt you anymore, they want to walk with
-
you. They want to see your power.
-
They want to be guided by you. They will be protected by you.
-
My Father, I pray order in this. Take their hand now put your
-
hand on their head and release that Holy Spirit, anointing of
-
the Holy Spirit be released upon you now.
-
Take it, take it, take it, drink it deep.
-
In the name of Jesus, take it deep.
-
Hosa Baranamanahandra rabba haiki shakti khanda basare maro
-
ronima rabba ronima Saba rekha shanda sakirani.
-
Hey. In the name of Jesus, we stand
-
by faith. And we trampled down Satan,
-
trampled down the devil, trampled down temptations,
-
everything in the name of Jesus. And we shall be holy people, we
-
shall be holy people, we shall be holy people, and we shall
-
challenge the enemy and throw him out from every place we see
-
in the name of Jesus by the Father, Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit,
-
flood the spirit, soul and body now and give them that knowledge
-
that only in the inside of the Spirit they know that they are
-
filled with the Spirit and never doubt it, to the glory of your
-
name. And such people are the ones who
-
are going to shake the world. I pray now that that will be
-
this by the elimination of the Holy Spirit right now, the glory
-
of your name, Jesus, mighty name.
-
We ask. Everybody says Amen.
