The Kingdom of God is within me. Do you believe it?
-
Shout Hallelujah, praise God, that is amazing.
-
And that Kingdom will keep growing, will never diminish.
-
If we host it rightly, it is going to really keep increasing.
-
Praise God S We are studying the book of Galatians.
-
We done with chapter 3 last week and we go into chapter 4 now,
-
but it is not something different.
-
It is actually a continuation of the end part of chapter 3 is
-
spilling over into chapter 4 as well.
-
So you see in chapter 3 verses, particularly 23 to 25, it talks
-
about life before coming into Christ, what we were before we
-
believe in Jesus. So it talks about before this
-
faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up
-
until faith should be revealed and other things he talks about.
-
We were basically slaves to sin, slaves to the law.
-
And then what happens to those who believe in Jesus was 26
-
onwards. You are all sons of God through
-
faith in Christ Jesus. You are sons of God through
-
faith in Jesus Christ. That is the new status, new
-
standing. So you are no longer a slave,
-
but a son. Tell your neighbor you are no
-
longer a slave, but you are a son.
-
That's amazing, isn't it? One of the things we need to do
-
is to tell yourself every day I am a child of God.
-
I am a son of God. I am a daughter of God.
-
We have to make that proclamation to yourself.
-
Why you are likely to forget when you go, when you hit the
-
next emotional button alarming you of something that's
-
happening in your life, you are going to say, oh, what am I
-
going to do? Fear comes.
-
Somebody says a bad word to you, somebody threatens you.
-
You know, some relationship is being upset.
-
Your employer was unhappy, your boss was unhappy.
-
That is the time you need to know that you are the Son of
-
God, a daughter of God. It's very important.
-
We have to keep saying it to ourselves every day.
-
So you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
-
So baptized into Christ you will close with Christ.
-
So many other things he talks about, but now he's
-
transitioning into a little more further.
-
He wants to develop this idea again.
-
In chapter 4, verses one to three, he talks about our life
-
as a slave or before we believe in Jesus.
-
And from verses four to seven he talks about life in Christ, who,
-
who? Who we are in Christ before,
-
before we believe in Christ, after we believe in Christ.
-
That's being compared in this thing.
-
So here he is talking about basically he is talking about
-
slave and a son. Everybody say slave and a son.
-
So who is a slave and can he became a son in the Roman world
-
during the time of Paul and Jesus.
-
During that time slaves are slaves.
-
They traded. You can sell a slave, buy a
-
slave. That is how it happens.
-
But somebody desires to set a slave free.
-
He pays the money, he buys him, but he is not a slave anymore.
-
He says I set you free, go. He has a right to be set free.
-
So at the same time, when in matters of inheritance property,
-
what they used to do is you make up a will and you say this is my
-
will, this property, this land, this field goes to my son.
-
But the son is only now 4 year old, Oregon 3 year old, But he
-
will become entitled to this property, to this field, when he
-
attends the age of, let us say 18.
-
That is what we believe now. It is not 18 in Roman time, so
-
let us say 18 years of age. Until then, who takes care of
-
it? There are caretakers who take
-
care of it, wardens who take care of it.
-
So that property is owned by the child.
-
But it is no better than a slave because it has no right to
-
decide what to do with the property.
-
Am I communicating here? So the slave, the sun is like a
-
slave. Now, what is Paul trying to do
-
here is he's using a common illustration to drive home a
-
theological point, a theological point, a very important
-
theological point. He's driving home by using this
-
analogy of slave and the sun. Slave stands for your life under
-
the law and the sun stands for your life under Christ.
-
Am I making sense here? I don't want to rush through,
-
you know I can just blah blah, I can blast and go away, but you
-
do not benefit anyone. So I want you to understand and
-
let the Word sink in your heart. You are no longer under the law,
-
but you are in Christ set free as a sun.
-
So under the law you are a slave.
-
In Christ you are a son, you are free.
-
That is basically the thing. So how do we explain it?
-
How do we explain this one? An heir can be has not mature,
-
he is not attained the maturity to own things.
-
So when he touches that age prescribed by the Father, and
-
then he becomes entitled to entitled to it.
-
Now Paul is again, you know, his very brilliant brain.
-
It takes a long time of meditation to understand what
-
Paul is saying. What he was trying to say is in
-
the same way God has allowed the law to govern the people for
-
nearly 1500 years from the time of Moses.
-
He gave the 10 commandments and those 10 commandments were given
-
so that people can know that they cannot attain eternal life
-
by doing it because they are going to fail it.
-
Even if they fail once in one matter all their life, it's all
-
going to be waste. That's the reason why law is
-
given so that it's like a it's like a school teacher leading or
-
teaching a small student, giving information and making them to
-
mature, become matures. The law is like a school teacher
-
leading you to Christ. That is a job.
-
That's a function that's in chapter 3.
-
Now in chapter 4 he is saying the same thing again here.
-
What am I saying is that as long as heir is a child, he is no
-
different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.
-
Now many of us Christians are also living like a slave, not
-
like a son. We are not living like an heir.
-
We are living like a slave because we don't know what we
-
own, because we don't know what we possess, because we do not
-
know our new standing in Christ, because we do not know what is
-
ours in Christ. When you know it, you will
-
behave like it, you will practice it, you will believe
-
it, you will do it. But again, when you are a slave,
-
you have no right of your own. You are being controlled by your
-
master. But when your son, you are free,
-
nobody is going to force you. You are going to be freely going
-
to do what the law demands because love fulfills all law.
-
You will walk in love. But what I was thinking, more
-
and more I was thinking about it, I want to make something
-
visually stimulating and something that communicates.
-
I just want to volunteer. Can I have Simon here?
-
I don't see OK, I am going to say some things is not true
-
about you, OK, Let us say he is a Christian, OK?
-
He is a born again believer and I am the devil.
-
OK now OK, don't run away. Let us say he told a lie.
-
He just said some lie somewhere somebody asked him some
-
question. He says no, no, no.
-
He tells a lie. I am the devil.
-
So I look at Simon and say, hi, buddy, you are really doing
-
well. You know, I'll teach you how to
-
do more better. You can tell better lies without
-
being detected. How do you feel that?
-
See, this is how the devil is going to do that.
-
You tell a lie, you are partnering with Satan.
-
He is the father of lies. And Jesus said he's been telling
-
lies from the beginning. And the law is similar to it.
-
You are going to be under its power and you have no power to
-
overcome it. But when you are set free, you
-
can walk in freedom. You can walk in freedom same way
-
some other, let's say the job of devil is basically, you know, to
-
steal, kill and destroy. These are the three functions,
-
steal, kill and destroy. Suppose let's say again Simon
-
Sharp lifts something from the somewhere.
-
OK, then again my role is like a devil.
-
I will say well done, you know, well done.
-
I will tell you how to rob the bank next day.
-
Thank you Sir. OK, so this is how you partner
-
with devil when we I am not going into bigger sins, murder
-
and things. I am just taking simple stealing
-
and telling lies. You know, this is very common.
-
Very common. Believers are into it.
-
White lies, Gray lies, black lies, all kinds of lies.
-
Is not right. Is not right.
-
When we do it. You are walking into the
-
territory of the Saturn. And he says he puts his hand on
-
your shoulder. Let's go for a walk.
-
I like you very much. But when you say no to sin, when
-
you say no to sin, the Holy Spirit comes along, puts his
-
hand on you, say well done, thank you for resisting it.
-
I love to make you holy. I want to make you like Jesus.
-
I want to feel you with my power.
-
It is very simple. I want to communicate to the
-
down to the level, you know, to the extent that anybody can
-
understand. So this is how we need to
-
partner with God, not with the devil.
-
And it is going to be exciting walk with God.
-
We are going to walk with God. It is going to be very exciting
-
and that is what we need to know.
-
So he has the slave and the free son is free slave has no
-
freedom. But when when he Paul is talking
-
about this again in verse three, he says three verse 4.
-
But when the time had fully come, when the time had fully
-
come, what is he trying to say? He is again alluding to that
-
analogy of the heir who is a child but who has doesn't
-
possess everything. He has to wait for the time to
-
come. If the age when he becomes
-
possesses what is his is 18, he has to wait until his 18 years
-
of age. Same way for the whole timeline
-
from the time God created Adam and Eve, He has also set this
-
timeline. And He gave the law so that we
-
can be led to Christ, the law to make us helpless, to prove that
-
we cannot save ourselves. And now when the time is fully
-
come, that time when is fully come He sent His Son.
-
Why? Because you are going to walk
-
into the new freedom. So the more I was thinking
-
about, the more I was just rejoicing.
-
By God, who can beat your intelligence?
-
We can never teach anything to God.
-
He's the wisest, best person and he has planned everything.
-
So that's the reason why we Christians believe in
-
progressive revelation. What's the progressive
-
revelation? You don't have it all in one go,
-
but little at a time. You understand the plans of God,
-
purposes of God. The more you study the Word of
-
God, the more you are filled with the mind of God.
-
How to draw the mind of God? Fill yourself with the Bible.
-
Why should you read Bible every day?
-
By the way, I just want to ask you this question.
-
How many of you have read Chapter 4 of Galatians 2 before
-
you came here? 1234 I was sitting down and
-
thinking, you know, every week I ask this question, one or two
-
hands go up. How many minutes do we have in a
-
week? It's more than 10,000, more than
-
10,000 minutes. And how long does it take to
-
read chapter 410 minutes out of the 10,000 minutes?
-
Can we not have 10 minutes to read and say what am I going to
-
hear this Sunday? I am not trying to accuse you,
-
my friends. No, no, I want to encourage you.
-
I want to encourage you. Is the Holy Spirit coming along
-
and putting his hand on your shoulder saying you can do it,
-
you can do it Now? Is there anybody here who
-
doesn't want to see a revival? I want to see your hand.
-
No, you all want to see revival, but what is the price?
-
The price is you invest into studying this word.
-
When you study the Word, you know the mind of God and when
-
you know the mind of God, you do it.
-
Riva welcomes the whole week I was praying God send new people,
-
send new people, send new people.
-
And of course we see some new people today praise God for
-
them. God is a God who answers prayer.
-
So we believe that we have to grow and make an impact upon the
-
city and that is possible only when you give yourself to study
-
the Word, read the word, study it, let it dominate your
-
thinking and your mind. That is how revival comes.
-
So next thing that we see here is God sent his Son.
-
And this is very important. God sent his Son is a very
-
important one. What does it mean?
-
Think of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit before anything was
-
created, before anything was created, they had a discussion.
-
And in the discussion part we are going to let us make you
-
know, that's what he talks about, man and woman.
-
And he said let us make man in our image.
-
But what about the rest of the creation?
-
Did they have a discussion? They did.
-
Did they discuss, OK, we are going to create a tree of
-
knowledge of good and evil and a tree of life.
-
And when they eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil,
-
they are going to become sinners, they are going to
-
become shame, they will become aware of shame and they are
-
going to be separated from us. Then what should we do?
-
We have to save this people, that discussion between the
-
Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. And the Son says I will go.
-
And Father says, yes, you will go, I will send you.
-
So this kind of a thing happens much before the timeline begins.
-
Before the timeline, the clock started ticking, God the Father,
-
Son, the Holy Spirit of desire. So God sent his son then and
-
there before the timeline began. And which happened in time,
-
space history, 2000 years ago. Are we together?
-
So God sent his son. So when God sent his son, does
-
son have to say, yes, I want to go?
-
If father says go and son says no, I don't want to go.
-
Like we have a parable. Is it going to work?
-
It's not going to work. But what the father says, the
-
son says, what the son says, the Holy Spirit says.
-
There's a unity and uninterrupted flow of
-
communication between the fathers and the Holy Spirit so
-
that those words are very important.
-
God sent his Son is very important.
-
The initiative is taken by the Father and by the Son.
-
So that's very, very important for us.
-
And so when Jesus was sent, he was sent by the Father on a
-
mission. The mission begins before the
-
creation. The mission begins before
-
creation. Jesus was given.
-
That is the aspect of the love of the father.
-
When he says I will send my son, he's going to lose something
-
very big. He's going to die for the whole
-
humankind who all the people. He's going to die for the whole
-
human race. And that is not easy on the
-
father. So it is a great sacrifice.
-
It's a great sacrifice. I'm telling you, every parent
-
will know when the child gets sick.
-
If it is just a small core, you will not bother with just a
-
fever. OK, give some panadol, give some
-
paracetamol. He will be all right.
-
But if he falls down and breaks his head, or he falls down,
-
breaks his hand or a foot, then you are more concerned, more
-
worried. What's going to happen?
-
He will. Will he be all right?
-
Will he walk forever in his life?
-
Is it going to be crippled forever?
-
So much of tension comes upon you.
-
I tell you, human fathers, human mothers feel so bad for the
-
children. How that is going to be on the
-
Father when he thinks about human people whom he is going to
-
create in his own image with free will, are going to sin and
-
to set it right, he has to send his son Jesus into the world.
-
How painful that's going to be for the Father.
-
Jesus died upon the cross, but the pain goes into the heart of
-
the Father, and the pain afflicts the Holy Spirit.
-
You see it in the Book of Revelation that the Lamb of God
-
was appeared, I mean was appearing slain with the seven
-
horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God gone
-
into all the world. What does it mean?
-
That means you cannot separate the Son and the Holy Spirit.
-
You cannot separate the Son and the Holy Spirit.
-
You do not see the Holy Spirit. I mean, you cannot feel it.
-
You cannot see Him. But when Christ was suffering,
-
He was suffering too. And when Christ was suffering,
-
Father was suffering too. That pain is a pain to everyone
-
in the Godhead. So when God says He sent His
-
Son, He is saying, I feel for my people whom I made in my own
-
image to save them. I want to send my son.
-
I want to send my son. And that is a painful decision.
-
But God had to make it before the time began.
-
And then Jesus had to say, I go the obedience.
-
Jesus had to obey the Father. Yes, obey the Father and the
-
Father says Son is now. Time has come.
-
The full fullness of time has come.
-
Now we have to go down and become a human being.
-
I said yes long time ago, but now I have to think about it.
-
Is it going to be like that? No, in God things are fixed.
-
They don't change with time. They don't change with time.
-
I'm telling you these words that I'm speaking should encourage
-
everyone of us. Why?
-
Because in God things are fixed. He has decided to bless you and
-
in fact, He already has blessed you with every spiritual
-
blessing in Christ Jesus. And that is something that will
-
not be shaken. Unmovable fact.
-
You are blessed based on the character of God, you are
-
blessed. Nothing is going to change it.
-
The more you believe it, the more you will see the power of
-
God. Really.
-
City of situations you are going to be overcomer.
-
Knowing that in God things are fixed is a great comfort, a
-
great source of comfort. So you see, God gave his son.
-
John 316. That's where you see God gave
-
his son. Why did he give?
-
So whoever believes in Him may not perish, but have everlasting
-
life. And then you see in John 1628 I
-
came forth from the Father. Is Jesus saying I came forth
-
from the Father? He is the one who came, but God
-
sent him and He came. They are not two different
-
things that don't gel, but they gel together.
-
Father says I want you to go. Son says I want to go.
-
John 1628 and then John 11 say in the beginning was a word and
-
the word was with God and the word was God.
-
His pre existence is what makes his life precious.
-
Why Jesus life is more valuable because he existed before all
-
time before anything was created.
-
He was with the Father and he was God.
-
I mean, when people came and asked John the Baptist, who are
-
you or is the Christ, he said no.
-
But about Christ, what did he say?
-
He was before me. You and I, we come into
-
existence the moment the Father and mother decide to have
-
children and we are conceived and we begin, we begin to exist.
-
But it is not so with Jesus Christ.
-
He existed before all time. He was with the Father.
-
Some of us can impact our community in a greater way.
-
You can take Martin Luther King junior or senior, whatever,
-
Mahatma Gandhi. You can take many, many, many of
-
the people in history they have impacted, but it is not the same
-
as the life of Jesus because they were all sinners.
-
They were all sinners. They did sin, and because they
-
committed sin, but they also did some good things.
-
We talk about the good things, not the bad things, but it is
-
not so with Jesus. He was sinless Son of God, and
-
He lived and died without any sin in Him.
-
That's the reason why His life is precious, that life is able
-
to forgive sins of all mankind because He lived a sinless life.
-
That is why it has immense value.
-
It has got great power. His life has great power.
-
The best comparison is John the Baptist.
-
What did Jesus say about him? Jesus said among those who are
-
born of a woman, there is no one greater than John the Baptist,
-
but the one who is saying it was greater than John the Baptist.
-
Jesus himself was greater than John the Baptist, but he said
-
there is no one greater than John the Baptist.
-
So we have here one person being labeled as the best, and you
-
have Jesus who is better than the best.
-
He's better than the best. He became one with us so that we
-
may become one with Him. Ultimate purpose of God is that
-
He should come down, become like one of us so that we can become
-
like Him. This is not originating from
-
human mind. My friends, brothers and
-
sisters, this is the counsel of God.
-
This is the plan of God. This is the will of God.
-
This is the pleasure of God. This is the intelligence of God.
-
This is all that God is. The salvation is not a simple
-
salvation. Somebody told you Jesus died for
-
you. Say Jesus, forgive me, come into
-
my heart. It is not as simple as that.
-
It is full of depth and meaning and that has to transform your
-
life. When you look into the Son of
-
God who came into the world, it should not leave you the same.
-
If you do not change, you keep telling lies, compromise, cheat,
-
taxes, whatever we do, if you are Christians born again, we
-
are bringing disrepute to this Son of God who shared his
-
precious blood for us. That's the reason why sin and
-
Christian mutually they are not compatible.
-
We have nothing to do with the world, nothing to do with the
-
Satan, nothing to do with the sin.
-
We are saved from the world, taken out of the world and we
-
are children of God. It is so easy.
-
I find so many people, some someone.
-
I don't see them for a couple of weeks.
-
Let's say I run into them in the supermarket.
-
Hey, I didn't see you at the church for two weeks.
-
Oh, this, this is reason he gives.
-
And then later on I come to know he went for a holiday to
-
Queenstown. It's a lie.
-
What I meant to, what I mean to say is let's speak truth always.
-
Why am I so much hanging on the lie part?
-
Because Satan is the father of lies.
-
You don't partner with him. The moment we speak lies, we are
-
partnering with him. We are inviting him.
-
We are giving him keys to our life.
-
That is going to devastate your life.
-
Let's not do it. Let's be clean before God.
-
So when we say his born of the next thing that we see here is
-
that he is born of a woman, born to a woman.
-
This is the flashback is Genesis 315 after he spoke to Adam and
-
Eve and to the Satan. What did he say to Satan, to the
-
snake? Because what you have done is
-
not right. Because of this, I curse you
-
above all animals. You will be crawling on the
-
belly, you will eat the dust of the earth, and then he what will
-
say I put enmity between her offspring, her seed and your
-
seed. You will crush, he will crush
-
your head, but you will bruise his heel.
-
Seed, seed. The seed refers to Jesus Christ,
-
so he did not say to Adam and Eve your seed, Adam and Eve your
-
seed. No, from day one it is decided
-
that Adam seed is not going to partake there directly.
-
Is only indirectly. It is her seed.
-
Where does she come from? She comes from both Adam and
-
Eve. Mary is not just born aloof by
-
herself, she is coming down and Adam and Eve together are there
-
in her. But particularly because of the
-
virgin birth, she's not going to have a son through Joseph.
-
It is by the Holy Spirit. That's the reason why the day
-
sin entered the world. The Father said through her
-
seed, meaning the Savior is going to come through human
-
being. He's going to be a human being
-
born to Mary who is going to be a virgin birth.
-
I thought we talk about the wisdom of God there now
-
thousands of years in advance. He proclaims the gospel.
-
He proclaims the gospel. John, Genesis 315.
-
That's just quite amazing to me. As I was thinking about it, the
-
more and more I thought I said this is too much, but that's the
-
gospel, the depths of the gospel.
-
So his participate in the humanity, which includes being a
-
helpless baby, subject to struggles of growth,
-
experiencing pain, persecution, ultimately death.
-
When he says born of the woman he is inheriting.
-
Every problem you go through in life, he has tested it.
-
Why? To set you free from it.
-
Your sickness. He wants to set you free because
-
he has paid the price for it. He has paid the price for it.
-
You are not going to suffer all your life like that because you
-
have to believe it and receive it.
-
He is not going to do anything new.
-
Is Jesus going to say, let's say I have some some problem in my
-
body and I say God heal me. Oh, God says, oh, Ramana is
-
crying out for healing. I'll have to do something.
-
Nothing more to do 2000 years ago by his stripes, I am healed.
-
He did it already. He did already say he did
-
already. He's not going to do anything
-
more. You will have to believe it and
-
receive it. Enforce the Kingdom of the
-
Father in the name of Jesus, by the Father, Holy Ghost.
-
Father God looked down to see if there's anyone who can be a
-
solution to solve the dilemma of sin to save mankind.
-
But alas, there's no one, not even one.
-
Everybody has sinned and have gone away from the path from
-
which they should be walking like sheep.
-
They have strayed. But when the Son came into the
-
world, Father was joyful. Why now it is possible for
-
salvation to come to human race. My Son has entered the world.
-
You know there is joy and pain in the Father's heart.
-
Joy because he's going to save you and me.
-
Pain because Son is going to die on the cross.
-
Joy and pain. They go together, so his weight
-
from eternity is over when he was born of the woman.
-
Father's weight is over. Father's weight is over.
-
Then man's frailty, incompetence, insufficiency,
-
limitation is all obliterated. For the one who trace the wine
-
press alone has entered the human landscape.
-
You know, it talks about in the Bible, it talks about Jesus as
-
the one who trade the wine press.
-
His robes were like blood because of the the juice of the
-
grapes and he was trading the wine press all alone.
-
You know, he doesn't need you and me to contribute to our
-
salvation. In that sense it is all his
-
work. And when the Father says my son
-
has come into the world, he is rejoicing because there is one
-
who is going to tread the wine press alone to bring salvation
-
to mankind. Hallelujah.
-
I can't tell you how much I love studying this world.
-
I was just studying it and I said, oh God, I just can't
-
understand what you have done for me.
-
Your plan, your wisdom is great. I worship you, our Father, I
-
praise you. Born of a woman is not simple
-
words. There is full of meaning.
-
It meets my incapacity, it meets my limitation, it meets my
-
foolishness. It means a lack of strength.
-
Everything that I don't have, he has it because he is my saviour.
-
Man's helplessness is broken. When Jesus entered the world.
-
We are not helpless anymore because He has come.
-
He is our strength. He is our help.
-
Hebrews 214 Now since the children have flesh and blood,
-
He too shared in their humanity, so that by His death He might
-
destroy him. Who holds the power of death?
-
That is the devil. He partook in flesh and blood to
-
destroy Satan, who has power over you and me to set us free
-
from the grip of Satan. That's from Hebrews 214.
-
And when he became his born of the woman, Matthew 123 is
-
fulfilled. Behold, the Virgin will be with
-
child and will give birth to your Son, and they will call him
-
Emmanuel, which means God with us was not God with the people
-
before Jesus came into the world.
-
He was. But this is something entirely
-
different dimension, a different expression of the presence of
-
God. He is going to be with you
-
personally and makes it possible to be in you after His death,
-
burial, resurrection, and ascension to the Father.
-
When you believe in Him, He, you become one with Him.
-
He is going to be with you forever, born of the woman.
-
We got much to praise God, much to praise God and then born
-
under the law. Everybody said born under the
-
law. What does it mean when He is
-
born under the law? So that He can set you free, you
-
and me free from the law. He fulfilled the law on your
-
behalf, on my behalf. He never told a lie, He never
-
stole anything from anybody, He never broke any of the 10
-
commandments, and he was perfectly walking like a human
-
being without any sin to fulfill everything.
-
And at one point in Matthew he says I have come not to cancel
-
the law, but to fulfill the law. Every jot, every line, I have
-
come to fulfill it. What a savour we have.
-
If He has not fulfilled a small dot in the law, then you have to
-
work for it. No, we do not do anything now.
-
Why He has fulfilled it for you and me?
-
And that is how when you believe in Him, His righteousness is
-
being transferred into your account and you become
-
righteous. Why He fulfilled the law for you
-
and me. By entering under Mosaic Law,
-
Jesus was qualified to obey it perfectly.
-
The law he spoke from the Mount Sinai when the whole mountain
-
was shaking and the people were trembling in their in their
-
boots and their shoes. And when they were, they put a
-
barricade so no one can go up the mountain, even animals.
-
And they were shaking and there was earthquake and Thunder and
-
fields and everything was so fearful.
-
And from from the mountaintop he spoke those 10 commandments in
-
the language they understood. And they said we don't want to
-
hear God anymore because we are going to die by he listening to
-
his voice. But Jesus, he fulfilled the law
-
for you and me so that we don't fear God anymore to approach
-
him. No Fear, No Fear anymore.
-
His sinless life secured righteousness to create to
-
believers. Second Corinthians 5/21.
-
His death satisfied the lost penalty, redeeming those
-
enslaved by it. Galatians 45 and God worked out
-
everything so beautifully in time, space, history, when the
-
time came, when, when we say here, but when the time had
-
fully come, actually so many things happened.
-
There were times when I used to read this version when I was
-
younger, days I used to think when the time was perfect.
-
Jesus became a man long time ago, 2000 years ago, let's say.
-
Was the world better at the time or worse?
-
I used to walk into the villages, see people innocent.
-
They are not highly literate, they don't have skills, they
-
only know a few things. Get up in the morning, eat the
-
leftover food, go into the field, take some with them, walk
-
there under the sun, eat the lunch, take rest for half an
-
hour and again work till evening.
-
Come home, eat food, feed the cattle, tie them up, pour water
-
for them to drink, some other things at home and then go to
-
bed where there no electricity. You have to go to bed as early
-
as you can and get up again in the morning.
-
And when I looked at them I said, why did Jesus come 2000
-
years ago? What things better?
-
They were better. I tell you.
-
Roman law was very, very prevalent all over the whole,
-
whole whole Kingdom of the Romans.
-
They enforced, particularly when Alexander, he lived only for 10
-
years, but when he invaded and conquered large swaths of land,
-
many countries he subjugated. And when he conquered, he
-
enforced the Greek language everywhere he went.
-
And so you have Roman government which has got huge territory
-
everywhere. Greek is understood now the
-
gospel can go without interpretation, without
-
translation, go through whole land.
-
That was the right time. People had many ways of
-
punishing people who, whoever committed murder or revolt
-
against the king, they were failed by the Assyrians.
-
You know, the sharp thing will go from bottom and go up through
-
the head. And different kinds of tortured
-
brothers were there, but. The crucifixion was invented,
-
perfected by the Romans, which had to be to fulfill the law
-
that he became a curse and was lifted up on a tree to fulfill
-
that. The Roman government was there
-
to enforce this crucifixion in so many ways.
-
The time was made perfect and when God said now it is time go
-
and the sun says yes and comes into the world born under the
-
law to redeem those under the law.
-
You know this is just we are not under the law anymore.
-
If you're under the law, we are slaves.
-
If you believe in Jesus, you are a son who is free to obey every
-
demand of the law. You have a new power indwelling
-
Holy Spirit who gives you power to obey, which was not there
-
under the law. Power of the Holy Spirit was not
-
present for the people. So what does it mean to us?
-
What does it mean to us? Assurance.
-
The same God who timed Christ's coming governs our own seasons.
-
We are not living in a helpless world, in a helpless condition.
-
Whatever situation you are going through, whatever trouble you
-
are going through, whatever challenge you are going through,
-
you are not helpless. Why?
-
God, who has planned it before the foundation of the world and
-
He made things happen at the right time, sent His Son.
-
He is on the throne and your life is secure in His hand when
-
you yield it to Him. I was praying for somebody.
-
God, show me something about this man.
-
He is not a believer and God showed me a snake and he was
-
spitting the snake with his hand.
-
That's a powerful picture. He is befriending Satan by not
-
believing in Jesus. He knows the gospel but doesn't
-
believe, doesn't want to believe.
-
He says, ah, I want God to speak to me.
-
I want God appear to me. I said, my friend, by
-
challenging God, you know, you don't go anywhere because God is
-
so big, so sovereign, omnipotent, omnipresent,
-
powerful, no one can challenge him.
-
The only way you draw his favor is by submission and by faith,
-
not by challenging and not by questioning.
-
So if we are revolting against God in any matter, particularly,
-
you know, when we are growing up, growing up is a difficult
-
stage and I have gone through it in my 20s, I used to sometimes
-
rebel against God and say, hey, I have prayed to you so many
-
times. You didn't answer my prayer.
-
Now I will not pray to you anymore.
-
That kind of a thing. But after six months down the
-
line, I'll say, OK, I'm wrong now I'm not going to pray, but I
-
still believe you and follow you.
-
There's so many different ways I used to argue with God, but God
-
has been patient with me. He showed love, concern, and
-
help me along in my weakness. That I may know Him, that I may
-
love Him, that I may obey Him. His hand is on your life now.
-
Your His hand, the mighty hand, is upon your life now, whether
-
you know it or don't know it. His hand is upon you.
-
His hand is upon you. His hand is upon you.
-
Secondly, patience. If he could align empires,
-
languages, prophecies for Bethlehem's Manger, he can align
-
details in our lives. You know, what did he say
-
through Micah? He said, Bethlehem, don't think
-
you are very little among all the cities, but the one who is
-
going to be born, Mesa will be born in you to make it possible.
-
Joseph and Mary were living in Nazareth.
-
They must be brought to Bethlehem.
-
So the King orders everybody you go to back to your place and
-
register yourself from the place where you hail from.
-
And he had to carry on a donkey, this lady who was fully
-
pregnant, so that when they arrived to Bethlehem, it was
-
also the time for her to deliver the baby.
-
How much God had to plan in your life.
-
There's nothing that's happening without His seeing your
-
condition, without seeing your tears, without seeing your pain.
-
Nothing is happening in our lives.
-
We have to look at Him and say thank you.
-
You are upon the throne. Give me Your grace to go through
-
this time now and He will bring you through.
-
He will bring you through. He is God who is committed to
-
bring you through. He's not going to leave your
-
hand. He's not going to say you're on
-
your own bro no more. I'm I'm not interested in you
-
anymore. He's not going to say it.
-
He says my hand is upon you. I love you.
-
I have plan and purpose for you. I am intend to fulfill every
-
plan in my heart which I have thought about before the
-
foundation of the world for you before the foundation of the
-
world. I have thought about you.
-
I have thought about you, I have thought about you.
-
Nothing is happening in your life.
-
He's handed upon your life. At the same time, some things
-
are urgent, Mark 115 reminds The time is fulfilled, The Kingdom
-
of God is near. Today is the moment of trust and
-
proclaim this perfectly time to Savior God is a God of history.
-
Timeline is in his hand, but our time comes today.
-
Today everybody said today. Today is a time to believe and
-
trust and surrender to him. Why He is God over your life?
-
And Galatians 44, we see a divinely set clock, a Savior
-
stepping into history at the precise second humanity's most
-
needed him, and a God whose timing is perfect then and now.
-
2000 years ago was a perfect moment.
-
He came into the world, and today is a perfect moment to
-
enter your life. All that we need to say is come
-
Lord into my life. So now I had to.
-
I think I shot my time already. I will leave it to cover next
-
week. There's much more to say.
-
I told you I got 4 pairs of notes here and much more I have
-
not written there. But the there's so much of glory
-
in the world. You study it.
-
You made it upon it. It becomes your life.
-
It becomes a truth. It becomes light in your life.
-
And you had to skew your time to it.
-
It doesn't yield to a casual reader.
-
I take my Bible. I read 2 minutes.
-
Oh, I read the Bible. We'll do you nothing.
-
We'll do you nothing. You'll dwell in it.
-
Allow it to speak to you. You got a problem.
-
You go to the doctor, he takes you say go into the machine, MRI
-
scan, CT scan. I tell you, when you come to the
-
word of God, it scans you what is wrong in you.
-
It tells this is what is wrong in you.
-
And you say, yes, I agree. The problem goes, problem goes.
-
Shall we bow our heads in prayer?
-
Father God, we thank you. We are overheard by your glory.
-
We are all overcome by your holiness.
-
We are all overcome by your love.
-
We are all overcome by your goodness.
-
My Father, I thank you. You are on the throne.
-
Thank you. You're holding your life in your
-
hand. Thank you, Lord, for your eyes
-
are set upon us. Thank you.
-
You're saying, son, daughter, open your heart.
-
I want to come into your life. Lord, I pray right now come into
-
the heart of somebody who is desperately longing for your
-
touch, longing for your light, longing for your power, longing
-
for the breakthrough, longing for that pain to go away,
-
longing for the sickness to go away.
-
Step into their world now, in the name of Jesus.
-
Thank you, Lord. Father.
-
Thank you, Lord. And if you are, if you're living
-
like a slave, today is the time to say I am a son, no longer a
-
slave. And you want to declare it, and
-
you want the Holy Spirit come into my heart and make your
-
presence real to me. Stand up where you are.
-
And I want to ask that Holy Spirit to fill you now because
-
to those who believe in him, he is given.
-
He is sent into our hearts. He is going to come right now.
-
He is going to flood your heart right now.
-
Just you have to stand and say, come Holy Ghost.
-
Come, Holy Ghost, come, Holy Ghost.
-
Yeah, I am desperate for you. He is going to come and fill
-
your heart now, Shastri Sarano, the Lord is saying you have not
-
seen my power yet. I am going to show you my power,
-
raw power. I am going to unfold my hand for
-
you, my son, my daughter, and I ask you, Holy Spirit, to come
-
into their heart now. Those who are standing right
-
now, flood their hearts, spirit and soul.
-
Come Holy Ghost, come Holy Ghost, come, Holy Ghost, let
-
your glory come, let your glory come, let your glory come, let
-
your glory come. Touch them now.
-
And everybody who is here who are under the influence of my
-
voice, fill them with the Holy Spirit to the glory of Your
-
name. Thank you again for your
-
presence. Thank you for speaking to us
-
through your word in Jesus mighty name and everybody says
-
Amen. Thanks for joining us at Omega.
