-
Oh yeah, this week it was very, very tough.
-
You know some scriptures they so difficult to get out of it
-
something you know, it was very, very tough study but I had to do
-
but it was bit, it was bit struggle for me to understand
-
some things there. But we will limit ours to few
-
verses because we also have communion.
-
So we need some time for that as well.
-
So we will see how it goes. So what he was trying to do in
-
in chapter 4 last week we started one to seven,
-
particularly in verse 6, he says because you are sons, God sent
-
the Spirit of his Son into our hearts.
-
Now this is the mark of every Christian.
-
You are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
-
If if anybody says I don't have the Holy Spirit, then you are
-
not a Christian. Anybody want to say I don't have
-
Holy Spirit? Because that is the mark.
-
The moment you say Jesus come into my heart, Holy Spirit comes
-
not one second later, not one second later.
-
So the same moment do you say Jesus come into my heart,
-
forgive my sin. I believe you died for me.
-
Bang, Holy Spirit. And he in fact comes in even
-
before that, because you cannot say it without his help.
-
It is he who helps you to see that Jesus is your Saviour.
-
So now when this Holy Spirit comes into you, what happens is
-
the Spirit who calls out ABBA, Father.
-
Now ABBA is the Aramaic word for daddy.
-
It is such a a condescending word.
-
It is something you know, sometimes we think of God as
-
very highly in terms of holy, sovereign, transcendent, you
-
know, all big words we use and sometimes in all using the big
-
words we missed to connect with this big God.
-
But when you call him Daddy, it is so easy to connect with him.
-
It is very easy. And sometimes, you know, it is
-
just depending on our background.
-
You know, we so many times I am praying for people for
-
deliverance and things like that.
-
And many times I mentioned about fathers who who have not been
-
really good fathers to them. So it becomes a big struggle to
-
connect with the Father God as Father.
-
It becomes a bit difficult. But I tell you, even I
-
personally have gone through the struggle.
-
I had a father, but I don't remember I played with him.
-
I don't remember he sat with me or gave me any lessons that I
-
need to learn in the school I was I was bright, so I didn't
-
need much lessons. I was learning by myself.
-
But it is difficult. Why am I saying is when I
-
thought about God as a father, I had a little bit of struggle.
-
But I tell you there is no other word that can describe God
-
better than Daddy. There is no other word that can
-
make you feel the intimacy with the Father.
-
That word is the essence of it and you do not have it in Islam,
-
you do not have it in Hinduism, you do not have it in Buddhism,
-
you do not have any any ISM. God the Father is.
-
The biggest revelation that Jesus did was to call God the
-
Father. Even the Jewish people were
-
stunned because for him God is too far.
-
And when he said ABBA, I know you hear me always.
-
Powerful words, powerful words. He stood before Lazarus tomb and
-
he said, ABBA, I know, hear me always.
-
And he says, Lazarus, come out. Do we know this ABBA?
-
Do we know this ABBA? Oh, my heart is being stirred,
-
stirred inside, because this God is our ABBA.
-
He is our Daddy, the one who can stand in front of a tomb and
-
call out the man to come out. Because that ABBA is living
-
ABBA. He is God.
-
And when you know him, you are no longer a slave.
-
You are no longer a slave, because a slave is not free at
-
all. He is not free at all.
-
But you are a son. You are a daughter.
-
I would say even women should call them the sons because there
-
is no male and female in the Kingdom of God.
-
You are all sons of God. And when you know son, that you
-
are a son, then you feel the power go through you.
-
You don't feel like less than nothing.
-
Sometimes problems come, sometimes issues come
-
emotionally we are disturbed and they will attacks you.
-
But deep down in your heart you know you are a son and that
-
makes all the difference. That makes all the difference.
-
So we need to know him as ABBA and we have the Holy Spirit
-
dwelling in US and because of the Holy Spirit we can call him
-
ABBA. Daddy, Oh, I love you so much.
-
You know, sometimes we have a little Matthias come around
-
playing around and suddenly he'll come and say I love you.
-
I said no, I didn't say anything to you, but you say to me you
-
love me. I am so much impressed with
-
that. I love you too, Matthias.
-
He goes around in the evening before going to bed, he comes
-
and says good night. It's a, it's a very, very
-
important ritual. We don't take phone calls.
-
If we have one, we will say, Please wait for one minute and
-
then go and finish it because we love that moment where we can
-
say to the little one, we love you and he gives us a hug.
-
He gives us a high 5 and sometimes he will say, give you
-
a kiss. I said that's a big bonus.
-
So it is the same thing with God the Father.
-
When you know Him as ABBA, you can run into His presence
-
without fear, without anything stopping you and without any
-
hesitation and without any fear. You go to Him and you know that
-
He is going to hear what you are going to say to Him.
-
No, that's the relationship. Once you have the relationship,
-
devil cannot touch you, you. He cannot touch you.
-
He can try, but he cannot touch you.
-
If you are a son, you are an heir.
-
Ha, it is amazing how many of us we do not know.
-
We are heirs of God, coheirs with Christ.
-
Elsewhere Paul talks about it. He says we are coheirs with
-
Christ. That means whatever is available
-
to Jesus Christ is available to you.
-
Whatever God is. The Father looks at the Son and
-
says you are my son. With you.
-
I am well pleased and I tell you he is saying the same thing to
-
you. I am well.
-
You are well pleased. I am well pleased with you.
-
You are an heir. You have authority, you have the
-
authority. You know we are going to partake
-
in the communion and I actually wanted to.
-
I was in two months last night. In the last minute I wanted to
-
change my message and speech on the communion, but I will
-
briefly share it now so I do not have to repeat myself for the
-
communion in the Garden of Eden. What happened?
-
They ate the fruit. They are told not to eat from
-
the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
-
You will not eat. If you eat it, you are going to
-
die and certain company says you will not die.
-
He just contradicts the word of God.
-
Fast forward the story, she ate the fruit and Adam knew about it
-
and Adam had to think a lot. Should he eat or not eat?
-
I am telling you it was not a quick decision for Adam.
-
It was not a quick decision and God was delaying waiting to see
-
what Adam is going to do. And Adam was torn because she
-
has sinned against God and if he does not eat it, he cannot have
-
fellowship with her. He cannot be one with her
-
because sin and holiness cannot well together.
-
So it was a long thought after decision and the moment Adam
-
ate, the sin was complete and they knew they were naked when
-
he wait, did she feel I am naked?
-
Oh, let me run after run away from run away from Adam.
-
She didn't feel it after Adam ate.
-
Because they have one spirit, they have one flesh.
-
When he ate the fruit, the sin was complete and both of them
-
felt ashamed and had to cover with the leaves.
-
And what did God do? Later on in the story He says
-
now we have the tree of life. If we don't do something about
-
it, they will eat from the tree of life and sinful men will live
-
forever. It is judgment in a in a way God
-
is in mercy said let's not allow them to eat.
-
So he puts a kerub there, a flaming sword, so they cannot
-
reach out and eat from the tree of life.
-
Is it a is it a forbidding? It is is it because God wanted
-
to forbid them from eating that from the tree of life?
-
It is an act of mercy is an act of mercy.
-
He didn't want them to live forever in that condition.
-
He didn't want them to live in sin forever and ever.
-
So a provision had to be made, and that provision is Jesus
-
Christ. Jesus Christ is actually the
-
tree of life, and I will tell you why.
-
When people crucified Jesus, they had done two big sins.
-
Number one, they committed murder.
-
An innocent man, a sinless man was crucified on the cross.
-
And secondly, the the powerful blood, innocent blood was shed
-
on the cross so that we can be forgiven of our sins.
-
In that act of treachery, in that act of murder basically
-
comes lifeout of it comes lifeout of it.
-
So anybody who believes in this Jesus may receive for Eden's of
-
sins and may be forgiven and accepted as a son and a daughter
-
so that you can enjoy the benefits of communion with the
-
Father, which has been cut off because of sin.
-
So now after Noah's flood and things like that, what did what
-
did God said to him? Do not eat the blood, because
-
life is life of an animal is in the blood.
-
So don't eat the blood. Now when we are having
-
communion, what are we doing? We are eating the flesh of the
-
Son of God and we are drinking the blood of Jesus Christ.
-
Is it allowed to kill a man and also eat his body?
-
Can you drink the blood? You are contravening all these
-
Old Testament commandments. You are breaking it when we
-
partake in the communion. Why did God forbid to allow it
-
later? So that He when you partake in
-
the blood, you are partaking in the life of the Son of God, and
-
He, that tree of life in the Garden of Eden which was
-
forbidden for Adam and you to reach out and eat.
-
He is the tree of life now He came and became available to us,
-
and He allowed sinful men to handle Him and crucify Him on
-
the cross so that we can partake in His flesh and drink His blood
-
and have life. And when He is giving you
-
opportunity to say come partake in my body and my blood is not
-
really we are talking about the flesh, we are not talking about
-
real blood. Jesus himself says in John
John 6 chapter mention
-
chapter 6, my words are life and spirit.
-
Everybody say life and spirit. When you believe in Jesus you
-
receive life and spirit. When you partake in the body and
-
the blood of flesh, you receive life and spirit.
-
That invitation is to partake in the nature of God.
-
Highest invitation you can ever get is to partake in the nature
-
of God. Children, come, I want you to
-
become like me. I am holy, be holy as I am holy.
-
Does it make sense? So when you partake today, you
-
are partaking in the life and spirit.
-
That is why when you partake in the communion, your sickness
-
will go, when you do it by faith, because you are partaking
-
in the life of the Son of God. That problem that is challenging
-
you has to disappear, be defeated, because you are
-
partaking in the life of God. That challenging situation has
-
to change, must yield, give way to you because you are partaking
-
in the life of God. I want you to partake in it with
-
that kind of reverence because you are not eating a piece of
-
bread, bringing a little bit of juice, but you are partaking the
-
life of God. And when you do it reverently,
-
you will receive every blessing that is attached to partaking
-
the body and the blood. Can I hear a Amen?
-
So that was a detour. Let's go back to our scripture.
-
So now in chapter AI mean verse 8, chapter 4, verse 8, basically
-
8 to 11, he's talking about something like this formerly.
-
That means before when you did not know God, you were slaves to
-
those who by nature are not gods.
-
Basically, what is he referring to?
-
He was referring to the idolatry the Galatian people were
-
indulging in before they believed in Jesus.
-
They were idolaters, they worshipped idols and elsewhere
-
we see umm, I think it is on the drive, there are couple of
-
slides. So basically the water idols,
-
they are nothing, just piece of metal, piece of wood.
-
But most of the time what happens behind them is there is
-
a demon. So when you sacrifice your
-
idols, you are sacrificing to demons.
-
That is written in the book of Deuteronomy.
-
We will have a verse. The reference will come up soon.
-
When it comes you will read. So we when people are offering
-
sacrifices to idols, they are sacrificing to demons.
-
That is why offering idolatry is not right, idolatry is not right
-
and idolatry is to distract people from appreciating the
-
real sacrifice that is Jesus himself.
-
Some places on the earth are so horrible you may even warm it
-
when you go to that place. In India there is a temple in
-
Calcutta and every second there is an animal cut there and
-
people when they have to go into the temple they will have to
-
walk through knee deep blood. And some people when who are
-
demonized by the same and they come near the temple, they will
-
be manifesting because the demons are stirred up by the
-
presence of the temple. So do not think idols are
-
nothing and particularly those who people who go on holidays
-
and you know it is a big craze to go on holiday.
-
See the world, I am going to this country, I am going to that
-
country. There is nothing wrong in it.
-
You go to the places, but do not go to the temples.
-
Even if you walk through that area, sometimes the Spirit may
-
follow you without your knowledge.
-
They do not come by invitation. They just jump on you because
-
you are in the presence. In their presence.
-
Somebody we prayed for in in America, when we were praying, I
-
said there is a presence of this demon there, but how are you
-
connected to this demon? Back into Mother's?
-
Mother never lived in that place but she is from a village place
-
and there was a temple next to her house.
-
So because children go to visit the grandparents house, they are
-
in the presence of the temple there next door and the Spirit
-
has followed her from there. I said in the name of Jesus come
-
out and she was manifesting and it left, left the person.
-
So what I'm trying to communicate here is Paul knows
-
these things. He says idols are nothing, but
-
he also knows that there is a demon behind every idol.
-
So when they offer sacrifices, they are offering it to the
-
demons, not just to the idol. And particularly, you know,
-
India and Thailand and Cambodia and many other places full of
-
temples and idolatry. And many things go, many things
-
happen. One thing they do when they
-
build the temple is to put an idol there in it.
-
And after they put the idol before they, they have a
-
ceremony where they say we pour life into the idol.
-
Until then it's only a stone or a metal.
-
So they chant things anointed with maybe milk or yogurt and
-
things like that and then invite the spirits to come into the
-
tent into that idol. The word they use in India is
-
pranapatista. That means pouring life into it.
-
Until then it is just an idol, just an image.
-
But after that thing, demons coming.
-
That is why idolatry is not right because they will comes
-
behind it. So all that I know, I have told
-
you there will be more behind it, but all that I know I had
-
told you. So we need to be careful when we
-
walk into when you go on holidays, be cable, do not walk
-
into those places just like that.
-
I went to Amritsar in India and there the Golden Temple is very
-
famous. So when we came nearer to that,
-
I said can anybody go and visit the Golden Temple?
-
They said you have to walk barefoot.
-
I said I am not interested in it.
-
I don't want to be barefoot and I don't want to visit that
-
place. I am not interested with
-
anything, whether it is gold or even made of diamonds.
-
It doesn't. I don't care for it.
-
It's got no value for me. So this is how a Christian has
-
to train his mind not to align with the culture and things that
-
are around you. Because when you give some room
-
that they will jumps on you. Enough about that, let's go, go
-
on. But now.
-
But now that you know God, or rather are known by God, how is
-
that you are turning back to those weak and miserable
-
principles? What are the Galatians 4
-
Deuteronomy 3217? They sacrificed to demons, not
-
to God, to gods they had not known, to newly arrived gods,
-
which your father's did not fear is from Deuteronomy 32 verse 17.
-
So that is how it is. And I think this verse 4,
-
chapter 4, verse eight in Galatians is more clearly
-
explained in the What version is that amplified?
-
But at that time, when you did not know the true God and were
-
unacquainted with Him, you Gentiles were slaves to those
-
Pagan things which by their very nature were not or could not be
-
gods at all. So the whole world, 8060 to 80%
-
of people are caught by idolatry.
-
It is just surprising to me. You, you can, you can make a
-
rocket and land on the Mars, but it does not make you stop you
-
from Bovington idol. Most of the scientists, they
-
bought some idol, and in fact, they even do some kind of a
-
ceremony to the gods in the science labs because they think
-
they receive all this wisdom, ability to do things from those
-
dumb idols. They have eyes to see, they
-
cannot see. They have ears, but they cannot
-
hear. They have mouth, but they cannot
-
speak. Their hands but they cannot help
-
their feet, but they cannot walk.
-
That is how Isaiah talks about it.
-
That is how Samish talks about it.
-
Idols are dumb. They are nothing but people.
-
Bow down to them because what makes them bow down to the idol
-
is not the piece of metal or wood, but the demon that's
-
behind it. It makes them to bow down to it.
-
Highly educated people bow down to idols.
-
It is. I am very surprised in my
-
younger age I did too. I didn't know it, but when I
-
heard the gospel I said OK, this is better.
-
And I believed in Jesus. So that is how we we go into the
-
subject Now, how is it that you're turning back to those
-
weak and miserable principles? What is he talking about, him
-
weak and miserable principles. He's talking about whole Jewish
-
system. He is talking about the whole
-
Jewish system and he talks about what else do you wish to be
-
ensured by them all over again? He says what they were doing.
-
You are observing special days and months and seasons and
-
years. What is he talking about?
-
Special month is a new new moon day in a month you get once one
-
once you get a new moon and new moon they have sacrificed to
-
offer according to the book of Leviticus.
-
So they were observing those things.
-
And then you have got different festivals, you have festival of
-
the booths and then you have got Passover and all these things.
-
But now what? Jesus, What Paul is saying is
-
Jesus is our Passover lamb. He writes to the Corinthians.
-
Jesus is our Passover lamb. Because you believe in Jesus,
-
you are not born by the Jewish system anymore.
-
I do not find fault with the Jewish believers.
-
They sometimes, you know, they want to be accepted by his
-
relatives. They want their children to be
-
married. If they say they have become
-
Christians, they may not find brides and bridegrooms.
-
So they want to be on the middle, somewhere on the wall.
-
Sunday, step into the church, back again on the wall.
-
Another Jewish man meets this side.
-
Is that gospel? You have to be unequally equally
-
devoted to Jesus. He is your Lord, He is your
-
King. And any kind of a sacrifice we
-
have to make for it. We have to make it.
-
And we should not be going that side.
-
They should come this side. Couple of times I had an
-
opportunity to pay for people who are not Jewish people.
-
They are non Jewish, but they adopt all those things.
-
They want to do Passover, they want to do Festival of
-
Tabernacles, they want to do festival lights descend that.
-
And I tell you when you go back, sometimes a demon can come
-
because it's nothing to do with you.
-
You are not born into it. You are not born into it.
-
We had to cast out a spirit. So we need to be very careful.
-
Don't mix the gospel, don't dilute it, don't adulterate it.
-
Don't mix. You know in India we we have a
-
big trade nowadays. It is now gone down much.
-
But in my younger days when you want to buy milk from any, any
-
person who is selling you milk, he will adulterate his water.
-
And you say hey, what is this? You are mixing water it for that
-
price. You cannot get anything better
-
than that because they want to sell you cheap as well.
-
You don't need to add any more water straight.
-
You put tea powder and you have tea.
-
If you dispute milk, you'll have to mix little bit of water in
-
it. You know, half and half, but you
-
don't need because they already have mixed water in it.
-
So, so that kind of adulteration, we don't do this
-
business of adulteration with the gospel.
-
We need to have the pure gospel, Jesus and Jesus alone and
-
nothing else, none besides him. He is King, He is Lord, He is
-
Savior, He is a Redeemer, He is a bondage breaker, He is a
-
healer, He is God. That is how you you need to
-
adopt. So what Paul was concerned is
-
you get a glimpse of the heart of Paul when you read it here.
-
And he says, I fear for you that somehow I have wasted my efforts
-
on you. You guys were pagans worshipping
-
idols, but I came along because of infirmity, because of a
-
problem, health problem. I came along and I have preached
-
the gospel to you. That's what he writes in the was
-
12 onwards. I pray with you, brothers,
-
become like me. If I became like you, you've
-
done me no wrong. As you know, it was because of
-
an illness that I first preached the gospel to you.
-
He was traveling by land with different places.
-
He didn't have a plan to go to Galatia, Galatian places and he
-
didn't have a plan to preach the gospel there.
-
He wanted to pass by that places probably and then he had a
-
problem. People think it could be an eye
-
inflammation or something because he talks about it.
-
If it were possible, you were on your own eyes and given it to
-
me. You treated me like an Angel or
-
like a God himself, like Jesus Christ himself.
-
So there was so much of emotion built between Paul and the
-
people of Galatia and they were. Now he says, have I wasted my
-
time on you? Have I wasted my efforts upon
-
you? And I tell you, some deceased, a
-
lot of many pastors, they travel for people, therefore go after
-
them. They pray for them, they teach
-
them and all kinds of things. And suddenly one day they say, I
-
think enough, I want to go to and try in another church.
-
They go away. I'm not saying you should not
-
go. When you want to go, let me
-
know. I will tell you, I will bless
-
you and send you. That's not a problem for me.
-
But this is what Pauls agony was.
-
He said I have travelled much for you, I have took all the
-
pains. He further again in another
-
place he talks about I want to be in childbirth, pains of
-
childbirth again for you. Who will do that?
-
A mother goes through pain only once for a child and a child is
-
born. Will she say I want to go
-
through pains again to bring you out into the world?
-
She doesn't. Its just once, but here because
-
these people were deserting the gospel, turning away from
-
Christ, he says, I want to be in childbirth pains again for you.
-
I want to have the birth pangs again for you until Christ is
-
formed in you. I long for you.
-
I want to impart something to you.
-
I want to change your life. You see, Galatians don't just
-
quit. Hold on to the gospel, hold on
-
to the gospel. Thank you, Lord, Father
-
Hallelujah. So he says how have I wasted my
-
efforts on you. In fact, he he even even in the
-
beginning of the chapter. Also, I think it was Galatians
-
16. I'm astonished that you are so
-
quickly deserting the one who called you.
-
I'm so astonished. I'm surprised.
-
How come you are leaving this Christ.
-
I tell you so many times our walk with crashes like that, up
-
and down, up and down. I have I shared the secret of
-
how to walk victoriously before it is confessing the blood of
-
Christ. If you are tired of committing
-
sins, confess the blood of Christ every day.
-
Put that blood on your spirit, soul and body and tell yourself
-
I am not under any obligation to commit sin anymore.
-
I am not under the mean of sin or Satan anymore.
-
I've been set free and you will walk out free.
-
It's very simple as that. So the Galatian churches, these
-
people, they just were deserting the Christ.
-
That's why he said, I plead with you, brothers.
-
Now he is oscillating. You know, one time he's angry.
-
I am perplexed. I am astonished how quickly a
-
deserting Christ and now his brothers is now pouring out love
-
again. This is the heart of a pastor,
-
heart of a pastor. And he says, brothers become
-
like me, for I became like you. What does it mean by that?
-
He lived among them as if he doesn't have a law.
-
But does he not have a law? He knows the Old Testament.
-
It doesn't contradict it. It doesn't stop practicing it or
-
fulfilling it. But he says, I became like you,
-
now you become like me. Let's exchange our life.
-
And for I became like you, You had done me no wrong.
-
As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached
-
the gospel to you. Even though my illness was a
-
trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn.
-
Instead, you welcomed me as if an Angel of God, as if I were
-
Christ Jesus himself. Now what a reception these
-
Galatians gave to Paul, probably because of the sickness.
-
I don't know. He must have been looking
-
different. He was whether people think it
-
could be the eye problem, most probably they think it is an eye
-
problem because in chapter 6 he says you know how I'm using my
-
hand to with such big letters I'm using probably he did not
-
appear aspects in those days. There are no respects were not
-
invented at that time. So he must be having problem
-
with seeing and he says I use my handwriting.
-
I am writing with the big letters.
-
Pardon me for that. And that could be because of an
-
eye infection, that that's what commentators talk about it.
-
But whatever it was, he was not completely what he said.
-
He what is the word he used, contempt or scorn.
-
You did not treat me with contempt or scorn.
-
That means there was something about his physical appearance
-
that could have easily made them to scorn at him and put him
-
down. But they said no, no, no, no, we
-
they treated him like an Angel of God, like Jesus himself.
-
So there was a noble approach on the part of the Galatians.
-
But now what is happening? What is happening now, though
-
they loved Paul, they received the gospel with joy and they
-
were converted and they had faith in him.
-
All things are going good. But there was set of people who
-
came and said, Hey you guys, Gentiles, unless you're
-
circumcised, you will not be able to enjoy the full benefits
-
of Christ's death. So they said I think that is a
-
good idea. And he said that's not a good
-
idea. The people who came to you are
-
coming with a wrong motive. They are coming with a wrong
-
motive. They have a zeal, but that zeal
-
is not for your good, it's not for your good.
-
So he says that those people are jealous to win you over, but for
-
no good. What they want is to alienate
-
you from us, so that you may be zealous for them.
-
Is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be
-
so always, and not just when I'm with you.
-
So the zeal is important, but that should be for good, not for
-
bad. And then he says, My dear
-
children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until
-
Christ is formed in you. Until Christ is formed in you.
-
This is the passion of a pastors heart that is Saint Paul.
-
Paul had a heart for these people that they should be
-
formed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
-
Like a mother who carries a child for 9 long months and goes
-
through a lot of pain to deliver and bring it into the world.
-
He has put efforts and now he says I want to go through it all
-
over again for you. There is no mother says that to
-
any child. But here Paul says I want to do
-
it all over again for you because you are going away from
-
the gospel. I want you to become like
-
Christ. So the more I thought about it,
-
the more I felt challenged. Do I have that kind of a love
-
for people? I need to have that kind of love
-
for people. Sometimes I reach out to people,
-
I reach out to those who are, who don't want to come to church
-
and say would you like to consider?
-
I want to pray for you and they don't reply.
-
I can see on the WhatsApp, you know the blue tick.
-
That means they have seen the message but no reply.
-
It's OK, it's OK. I have to do my job as a pastor.
-
I had to long for the people's welfare.
-
I need to feel like Paul felt for Galatians.
-
I need them to be. They should be confirmed to the
-
image of Christ. I want them to.
-
I want to pray for people so they can be set free from every
-
spirit that is hindering them from walking for Christ.
-
I want people to go free. I want to pray for deliverance
-
for people. Why?
-
Because that's my heart. That's my calling.
-
That's my calling. And I tell you, I'm not trying
-
to boast before you guys. This is not this.
-
I get nothing by boasting about it.
-
I stand before God with a clean conscience.
-
I'm here to serve, not to be served.
-
I am not here to make myself fat from what I receive from the
-
church. No, that's not my purpose at
-
all. I was thinking about should I
-
say these words or not? I had the choice.
-
But I want to tell you who I am because you should know who I
-
am, otherwise you will not know who is this pastor?
-
It is easy to shake hands when you enter the church.
-
Easy to shake hands when you leave the church.
-
God bless you. How was your holiday?
-
How is the weather? Ah, beautiful sunshine.
-
I want to do more than that. I want to do more than that.
-
That's my commitment to you, to the church.
-
I long for people who are not anywhere here.
-
I pray for people in Australia, for those in US, those who are
-
in India or elsewhere, anywhere. That's my heart.
-
I want them to be set free, I want them to be healed.
-
I want them to walk in Christ. I want them to be conformed to
-
the image of Christ. I want the revival to come all
-
over the world. I cannot say to somebody you're
-
too far away, you are of no good to me, so I'm not going to pray
-
for you. That's not my heart, that's not
-
my heart. We are committed to pray for
-
people. So he was very perplexed because
-
they are deserting Christ. I think now we will stop there
-
and let's prepare our hearts to partake in the communion.
-
As I want to remind you again, the invitation is open to
-
partake in the flesh of the Son of God and to drink the bread of
-
Jesus. That invitation is to partake in
-
the life of God Himself, the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit.
-
You are partaking, not eating a piece of bread and bringing
-
little bit of juice. You are partaking in the Father,
-
Son and the Holy Spirit. And that is something beyond
-
human imagination, because the people who are thrown out of the
-
garden are allowed to go back to the tree, take from the tree of
-
life and eat. And that is the invitation for
-
you today. So we have got 2 tables, one on
-
my left, one on the end of it. Feel free.
-
Go grab the piece of bread and your juice and come back to your
-
seat. And we will pray about.
-
Let's give thanks. Father, we thank you for your
-
Son Jesus, whom you sent into the world.
-
And he came into the world and he suffered unjustly.
-
A righteous man, a holy man, a man without sin, offered himself
-
as a perfect sacrifice. It was killed for us.
-
His body was bruised for us. He shed that powerful blood so
-
that our sins will be covered. Atonement made for our sins.
-
We praise you, Jesus. You are the Lamb of God who was
-
slain for us. We worship you, we honor you.
-
We thank you, Jesus, as you partake in your body and the
-
blood. Help us to partake in your life
-
and your Spirit who dwells in US.
-
It is not something that's going to happen later.
-
We already have him because of our faith.
-
And as we, as you partake in your body and breath, we
-
proclaim that you are our Lord, you are our King, you are our
-
God, you are our Savior, and we give you glory, honor and
-
praise. Thank you again for your love
-
for us. Thank you for your body and your
-
blood in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
-
Let's partake together. Let's give thanks.
-
We again thank you for the privilege you have given us as
-
you partake in your life. I command every sickness, every
-
pain to leave the bodies of your children in the name of Jesus.
-
Healing we receive because we are parting in the body and the
-
bread of Christ. A breakthrough we receive in any
-
area of our struggle. We receive the breakthrough.
-
We receive the breakthrough. We receive the breakthrough.
-
We receive the breakthrough for the growth of the Church as
-
well. Because you have done what needs
-
to be done for the revival to come and we believe we receive
-
the revival in our generation. The glory of your name.
-
Thank you again for your body and the blood in Jesus mighty
-
name. Everybody says Amen.
