Does anybody know not know the story of Red Sea?
-
Everybody knows isn't it is the favorite story of every child
-
because they learn it in the home, they learn in the Sunday
-
school. It's just an awesome story.
-
It's a bit over beaten like you are too familiar with it.
-
So it is very scary to preach on very familiar passages because
-
everybody knows isn't it so hard, a great difficult job.
-
But anyway, we will look into that.
-
What my first question is what does the Red Sea mean in human
-
experience? What does the Red Sea mean in
-
human experience? I was thinking about it
-
yesterday and I wrote it down. It stands for a situation with
-
an insurmountable obstacle in front of you, an invincible,
-
unbeatable enemy behind you, and no way out.
-
Then God makes a way which was not existing before, which never
-
entered a human brain. No eye has seen, no ear has
-
heard. Such are the things kept in
-
store for all of us who believe in Jesus Christ.
-
It has not entered anybody's mind.
-
That is how He opens and makes a way for us, and that is opening
-
a Red Sea for you and for me. You have not thought about it.
-
You, you, you see the insurmountable problem.
-
You cannot overcome it. You cannot swim through the Red
-
Sea. And the bam behind you see the
-
enemy following you. And you are, you are cornered
-
and you feel helpless and you feel confused and you feel a
-
loss of hope. And you say, what's happening in
-
my life? Is there a God?
-
And he opens the way, makes a way through the Red Sea, and he
-
opens the way for you. And you walk through it and then
-
you ask this question, How come I didn't think about it?
-
No, you cannot think about it. Only He knows what He is going
-
to do. In the tight spot He opens the
-
way for you, which no man has ever thought about.
-
And that is who why we call him Yahweh, God the Lord, because He
-
is God. The Red Sea stands for present
-
struggle. We are going through a real
-
struggle in the present time in the present tense where present
-
struggle between our past and the future, freedom and liberty.
-
What God has for you, he is going to give it to you.
-
And during the worship time, I said before the sundown, God is
-
going to visit somebody and he will make that way open for you.
-
The Red Sea is opening for you before the sundown today, and
-
don't forget to come back next Sunday.
-
Give the testimony because he is.
-
When he says he will do, he will do.
-
He will do it. So Red Sea stands for present
-
struggle between our past and the future, freedom and liberty.
-
So what? God has freedom for you in mind.
-
But right now you're standing at the Red Sea and thinking, how am
-
I going to come through it? How am I going to come through
-
it? No, that's the reason why Red
-
Sea stands for God who makes a way with his no way.
-
He makes a way, there's no way. I'll tell you briefly a story of
-
me one day. If you are, you are traveling
-
winter on a holiday to India and then at Chennai.
-
We were flying to Coimbatore. And then I gave my jacket to see
-
my and said please keep it for me.
-
And I went to the toilet and by the time I came out, they were
-
rushed into the aircraft and she left with my jacket.
-
And in that jacket was my wallet with my everything in it, my
-
phone and everything in it. Nothing was there in me except
-
the boarding pass that was in my top pocket in my shirt.
-
So when I came they are all gone.
-
And they said you can't go in now.
-
The bus is already gone to the So what am I going to do?
-
How am I going to? No, you cannot go.
-
You had to go by the next flight.
-
So now I want, I was standing there going to the office,
-
talking to people. They'd say, no, there's no way.
-
You have to buy a fresh ticket and go.
-
But where is my wallet? It's not there.
-
How do I pay for it? No money.
-
And I only had this passport and the boarding pass.
-
I don't know why I kept them. That was all that I had.
-
And I was standing there pleading with them.
-
And they say people come and tell stories to deceive people
-
and take money. You know something like this
-
there we can't trust everybody and buy a ticket for everybody
-
so you are on your own. So I want to go out so that I
-
can go back to my friends home and then get the money back and
-
come back and buy another ticket and travel.
-
But he would not let me go out because I have the boarding
-
pass. So I can't go out, I can't be
-
in, I can't go forward. I stood there and said God, you
-
are a God who makes a way where there is no way.
-
I believe you now to open the way for me in the name of Jesus.
-
After some time, one girl, one girl, she was very short and she
-
came to me and said Sir, I believe you but I'll swipe my
-
card for you but promise me you'll pay me the money back.
-
I said sure 100% you will trust me.
-
I'm not though I'm an Indian, I still get his passport, New
-
Zealand passport and I stand by my passport.
-
I'm an honest man and I will pay you back the money.
-
And she goes inside and talks to the boss and boss comes out and
-
he says OK I will swipe my card for you and you pay the money
-
100%. Yes I said 100% and he swiped
-
the card and he gave me the ticket and it came down to it
-
was supposed to be ₹6000 or ₹10,000 but it came down to only
-
₹2500 and why? Because he was not sure I am
-
going to pay the full money S he bought it as tough price, staff
-
price, lower price. What the concession they get the
-
staff get the concession. So he bought me a ticket at
-
staff price and when I landed there back in Coimbatore, I told
-
my friend we had to pay the money S Google Pay.
-
He transferred the money. We paid 3500 more.
-
So he gave a call. Why did you pay more?
-
I didn't spend so much. My friend wants you to have it
-
because you helped him in a difficult time.
-
This is just a brief explanation of what God can do.
-
We, we can be in tight spot where there's no way.
-
But God, our God is awesome God. He's a living 1.
-
He opens a way where there's no way.
-
He makes a way where there's no way.
-
Let's say he makes a way where there's no way.
-
So the chapter 14 is a key chapter that talks about the
-
crossing of the Red Sea. Verses 1 to 4 is like a summary
-
of the whole chapter. Again you revisit the chapter
-
and more explanation comes into the rest of the chapter.
-
But first of all was a says the Lord said to Moses, you know
-
this is the most keyword is the Lord said to Moses.
-
If we do not have that Lord speaking then we have no Red Sea
-
opening. Remember revelation is the key.
-
God's voice is the key for us to experience the miracles.
-
Do you hear God when you are in a crisis?
-
If you hear God, the miracle is going to happen, you will come
-
out of the problem. God said to Moses that's very
-
key tell the Israelites should turn back and in camp near π
-
Hahirat between Migdal and the sea.
-
I wanted to check out this geography and all that, but
-
there's not enough time. One thing is for a long time
-
people did not know where exactly these places are.
-
And now modern research, modern archaeology.
-
They you can go on YouTube and lookout just put Red Sea
-
crossing. So many videos will come up
-
where you will see divers going into the water and you see all
-
the chariot wheels and axles that are falling on the bottom
-
of the sea. You can see it now.
-
So they are able to say this is the spot where they must have
-
crossed. So you can you can follow it up
-
and they are to encamp by the sea directly opposite Bal Zafan.
-
He said turn back. The word they use is turn back.
-
Why God said to turn back because he wanted to fool the
-
Egyptians. So they were in a particular
-
spot. He said, OK turn back, come to
-
so and so spot where he when he when they came to that spot,
-
what accent what exactly was happening was they were trapped
-
by the sea on the one side and the Egyptian, Egyptians pursuing
-
them on the other side. Does God lead you into trouble
-
Sometimes If he leads you, he will also lead you out of the
-
trouble. Remember when Jesus Christ
-
himself, when he was baptized, he was filled with the Holy
-
Spirit, driven by the Holy Spirit into wilderness for
-
fasting and prayer for 40 days and 40 nights.
-
The Holy Spirit will will drive you into problem and when He
-
does it, He will also bring you out of the problem.
-
God ordained fast. God ordained trouble.
-
Sometimes will bring glory to God.
-
That is how He leads. That is how He leads.
-
Does it mean if you are a believer you will not have any
-
trouble? Sometimes He will lead you into
-
trouble, but when He leads you to trouble, no for sure He will
-
bring you out of the trouble. Shall we shout Hallelujah?
-
OK, Now turning back, the word everybody said turn back is a
-
very important word in the Scriptures.
-
You see many times when things have changed for good because it
-
turned back. When Naomi came back with her
-
daughter-in-law, Ruth, she turned back to Bethlehem because
-
she heard there was bread in Bethlehem.
-
She came back and you have a big story coming out of that.
-
When you turn back, there is going to be a breakthrough.
-
When you turn back to God, there is going to be a solution to
-
your problem. When you turn back to God, the
-
Red Sea is going to split for you.
-
This whole Old Testament, you know when you look at different
-
stories, they are very symbolic. Why they are symbolic?
-
The Red Sea itself stands for Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
-
Did anybody think about it as a Rishi was split, his body was
-
split so that you can encounter God and see him.
-
That screen that was hanging between the holy of holies and
-
the holy holy place, the thick screen that no human can ever be
-
able to lift it up. The heavy may be 6 inches or
-
more, no light will penetrate it.
-
And that was torn from the top of the top, from the top to the
-
bottom, because an Angel of God and came and just cut through
-
the screen. Why?
-
Because the Holy of Holies is now exposed.
-
Man can access God straight anymore.
-
There's no barrier anymore. Jesus body was broken that we
-
may receive revelation in his face.
-
The revelation of God. The Red Sea stands for Jesus
-
himself, He stands for Jesus himself, and Moses stands for
-
the mediator. Like Jesus himself is a
-
mediator. Moses is a type of Christ.
-
His life gives us more understanding of Christ, what he
-
does for us. He stands between God and man
-
and He speaks for you. He is now seated, brother, and
-
the Father is interceding for you.
-
I tell you that should blow away every, every cloud over your
-
life. Just to know that Jesus is
-
praying for you should make you feel strong and face any
-
situation, any situation because he seated by the right hand of
-
the Father. He is seated by the right hand
-
of the Father, now victorious over Sydney and Satan and he has
-
defeated every enemy that is going to touch you.
-
He has defeated the mall. Nothing.
-
He did leave. He did not leave one more enemy
-
to fight. Did not leave one more fight to
-
fight. He finished it.
-
That's why he shouted on the cross.
-
It is finished. It is finished and the Red Sea
-
stands for the cross because if Egypt stands for Satan, God loot
-
Satan by the cross, it is a trap for him.
-
We think that cross is a trap for Jesus Christ.
-
No, it was a trap for the enemy, for Satan, because by that cross
-
he defeated him and Satan thought he is going to have a
-
strong hand, he is going to overpower the Son of God, he is
-
going to defeat the Son of God. He is going to completely subdue
-
the Son of God, but he did not know that he is going to be
-
defeated by the same cross. And the Red Sea stands for the
-
cross because Jesus Christ has not only the Lord not only
-
defeated the whole Egyptian army, not one was left.
-
That's what you see in the book in chapter 14 at the end of it
-
says no one of them survived. That's the defeat is complete.
-
No one survived after the cross. There is not one demon.
-
There is no, no, no force of the darkness that can say I have not
-
been touched by the cross, not the force can say it.
-
No demon can say it, no principality, power, dominion
-
can say that they are not defeated anymore.
-
They know it well because when Crash worked on Earth, they came
-
running and said have you come to destroy us before our time?
-
Because they know that judged already.
-
That Red Sea stands for the cross where the Satan is judged
-
100%. I tell you, you can't study the
-
word and be untouched by the word.
-
You are more than Congress. You are more than Congress.
-
You don't have to look at Satan and shiver in your boots
-
anymore. Why he has been defeated.
-
The dragon, the old serpent is defeated, Satan our devil is
-
defeated, Principalities, powers, rules of ducks are
-
defeated, and wickedness High place is defeated.
-
Snakes Coffin all the father enemy is defeated.
-
That's the reason why if you understand the story of the Red
-
Sea, you can stamp under your feet Snakes coffin all the
-
father enemy. That is Gods purpose for you and
-
me to trample down Snake Coffin all the father enemy.
-
No sickness, no defeat, no loss of Job, no situation is going to
-
destroy you anymore. They have no power to touch you.
-
They have no power to touch you. And now he hardened the heart of
-
Pharaoh to pursue Israel. Israel.
-
He came to 600 of his best Chariots and many other Chariots
-
and soldiers and swords and everything.
-
But what was happening was there was a pillar of cloud by day,
-
pillar of fire by night that was standing there.
-
And when they came nearby, the people of which they looked at
-
Egyptians said, why have you brought us here there?
-
Are there no enough graves in Egypt that you brought us here
-
to kill us in this place? You want to make graves for us
-
in this place. I tell you that is a language of
-
unbelief. There's a language of not
-
knowing who your God is. There's a language of forgetting
-
your past experiences. You forgot God is giving you so
-
many miracles. He did how He set you free by
-
sending the 10th place. You forgot it.
-
He has accomplished a salvation with His mighty hand.
-
We forget it so quickly. We have amnesia, forgetfulness,
-
spiritual forgetfulness, we forget what God has done.
-
Look at your own life now, the all your past and you will see
-
Gods hand so many times rescuing you, providing for you, opening
-
the way for you, because he is the living God.
-
So in verse 1211 it says they said to Moses, was it because
-
there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the
-
desert to die? What have you done to us by
-
bringing us out of Egypt? Didn't we say to you in Egypt,
-
Leave us alone, let us show the Egyptians.
-
I tell you that is a spirit of the world, governing,
-
controlling the human nature. When I don't know where I have
-
written it now in my notes, I will come back to it.
-
So here it is. Didn't we say to you in Egypt,
-
leave us alone? They didn't want, they did not
-
want to come out. How many of us really wanted to
-
be saved? No, we did not want to be saved.
-
We resist the grace of God. We resist the revelation of
-
Christ. We did not want to be saved, but
-
He saved us in spite of it. And how many of us want to go
-
back? How many of us want to go back?
-
We want to sin and enjoy sin. And just like a swine, just like
-
the pigs, they like to wallow in the mud.
-
We have gone, I have gone, but God is still merciful.
-
He wants to bring, bring us out, basically.
-
So I return down here. I want to ask a question this
-
morning. What is your Red Sea in life?
-
What is your Red Sea? I want you to cross, walk
-
through the Red Sea in your life and go to the other side.
-
What is the Red Sea in your life?
-
You look at the Red Sea and make some proclamation, make some
-
declaration, Say to the Red Sea. I identify your Red Sea and say
-
to it, I am not afraid of you. You will give way to me.
-
I will go through you successfully, since my Lord will
-
make a way where there is no way.
-
Look at your problem this morning, look at his eyes and
-
say, I am not threatened by you. I am not afraid of you.
-
I am not defeated by you. Why?
-
Because God is my Savior. So shall we say I am not afraid
-
of you. In your mind, hold that problem
-
that is threatening you and tell that problem I am not afraid of
-
you. Say you will give way to me.
-
Say it loud, you will give way to me.
-
I will go through you successfully since my Lord will
-
break a way where there is no way.
-
Guys, there has to be conviction when you say it.
-
OK, I want to hear it loud and clear this time.
-
Let's do it again. I will go through you
-
successfully since my Lord will break a way where there is no
-
way. You will be on the other side
-
before the end of the day. The Lord is not surprised by
-
your impossible situations. A believer stature is formed not
-
in comfortable places, but by passing through the Red Sea
-
where only God can help and save.
-
Your stature is proportional to the enemy you overcome, just
-
like by killing a Goliath. Small David stature increase
-
more bigger than the size of a Goliath inspired.
-
It inspired a whole nation and many generations.
-
It triggers every child's imagination and every seasoned
-
Christian warrior. What is your experience?
-
What is your experience of Red Sea?
-
Has the Red Sea swallowed you or have you crossed through the Red
-
Sea? That destiny of being swallowed
-
is for the Pharaoh and his army. It is for the devil and his
-
foreign angels. It is not for us, not for us.
-
We are more than Congress. Let us declare it.
-
We are more than Congress mindset of the devil.
-
How do you know how devil thinks?
-
There is a poet by name John Milton and he wrote Paradise
-
Lost in the book 1 he says the the devil is encouraging the
-
fallen angels. What is he telling to them?
-
He says it is better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven.
-
It is better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven.
-
And what is the believer going to do?
-
Believers are not having a mind. They also have their own
-
mindset. They should have a believers who
-
are not having the spirit to overcome.
-
Have a mindset, keep the status quo and serve the devil.
-
What they were telling Moses. Why did you bring us from there?
-
Did you not tell you we want to be in Egypt?
-
Did you not tell you we are happy there?
-
Why did you bring us from there? That is the mindset of the devil
-
which has overtaken the minds of the believers.
-
It is like Peter saying 1 moment he says you are the son of the
-
living God and next time when he says son of man will betrayed,
-
he will be crucified, he will be raised up.
-
On the third day he pray takes him behind to the side and says
-
no this is not going to happen to you.
-
It is not going to happen to you.
-
That is the mind of the devil. That's the reason why Jesus can
-
see through the Peters heart and say you devil, get behind me.
-
We ought to be having that those kind of moments.
-
We have to have those kind of moments.
-
The mindset of believer should be why should I tolerate what
-
Jesus my Lord has defeated? What should be our mindset?
-
Why should I tolerate what Jesus has defeated?
-
That should be our mindset. What they see is the Egyptian
-
army, what God promised his deliverance.
-
When we focus on the army, fear takes over our hearts.
-
Moses said stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
-
Learning to stand still is not easy.
-
Learning to stand still is not easy.
-
This distinguishes a strong believer from a baby Christian.
-
How do you know you are a strong Christian when you are not
-
terrified by the enemy, When you feel not defeated?
-
Before you go through the whole problem, you already feel
-
defeated. No, we are not those kind of
-
people. We had to be standing straight
-
and standing still is not something new.
-
You will see through the scriptures many places.
-
When Jehoshaphat had to fight the army, what did he say to the
-
army? Stand still and see the solution
-
of God. You don't have to do anything.
-
You don't have to lift your sword and kill an enemy.
-
They will be killed before you kill them, before you fight
-
them, they are finished. And the Red Sea stands for many
-
things in the Scripture. One of the things is it stands
-
for the baptism. They when they walked through
-
the Red Sea, they were all baptized into Moses and into the
-
cloud. They are baptized into Moses and
-
the cloud that followed them. Red Sea experience can be
-
compared to baptism. 1 Corresis 10 verses one and two.
-
Secondly, Red Sea stands for death to self and a new
-
identity. Death to self and a new
-
identity. When you go through the Red Sea,
-
you come out on the other side. You have a new identity.
-
You were slaves in Egypt. Set free and you cross the Red
-
Sea. You walk into your promised
-
land, the liberty, the blessing of God, promises of God.
-
So that is what God wants you to enjoy today.
-
I could have told a story like in a Sunday school, but I
-
thought I will not do that. I want to give you some meat
-
this morning. I want to give you some strong
-
food S that you will become and become mighty soldiers for God.
-
That's my purpose, basically a demand to forget the past.
-
Thirdly, stands for walking by faith.
-
Hebrews 11/29 says by faith the people pass through the Red Sea
-
as on dry land, but when Egyptians tried to do so, they
-
were drowned. The Red Sea is a blessing to the
-
Israelites, but a curse to the Egyptians.
-
It's salvation to the Israelites but destruction for Egypt.
-
The cross is salvation to the Sinner, but the destruction for
-
the devil and his foreign angels.
-
That is how it is my friends, all over the Scripture you see
-
God salvation coming through and they will being judged every
-
time. Let your life save you and judge
-
the devil and condemn him because that is the that is the
-
inheritance of the Saints. That's your inheritance in Jesus
-
Christ. He wants you to be victorious.
-
He wants you to walk in power. Victory over enemies, Victory of
-
Jesus Christ over sin and death. Egyptian drowning of the
-
Egyptian army is compared to Christ victory over spiritual
-
forces. Christ victory over spiritual
-
force. How do we know the this is just
-
a story? It is embedded in human
-
experience. Experience of 1 nation called
-
Israelites. The Hebrews and their story is
-
the story of Jesus and your life story is the story of Jesus.
-
Your testimony, it has power. So don't underestimate your
-
testimony. What is your experience of
-
Christ? Open your mouth or share.
-
It is going to touch somebody's heart.
-
Go touch somebody's heart. Exodus 1411 and verses 11 and
-
12. It says here after 400 years of
-
living in Egypt, they are not one or two years.
-
They lived there for 400 years and they became slaves in Egypt.
-
After 400 years of Egypt, Egypt became a part of DNF Israelites.
-
It became a part of DNA. They have Egypt in their nose.
-
They have Egypt in their flesh. They have Egypt with their
-
emotions. And now listen to me.
-
Christians may deny they still carry old DNA into their
-
present. No, no, no.
-
I have a believer. Nothing of the old is there in
-
me anymore. No, no, no, after we are born
-
again, when the old life pulls us strongly, it stops us from
-
making a jump of faith. When we forget the pain and the
-
lessons we learned, particularly when we want to go back to the
-
old things we left behind and the attraction becomes too
-
strong. Brothers and sisters, we have
-
the DNA strongly embedded in US. The garlic, the onions, the
-
leeks and the fish satisfy just that moment.
-
That's why we need to hear the voice of the one who said man
-
shall not leave a bread alone. But by every word that pushes in
-
the mouth of God that this DNA of all life because weak and
-
fades away in proportion to obedience to the Lord and being
-
set on fire with His will for life.
-
The old DNA must go up into flames and be blown away by the
-
wind like this ashes on altar. The Red Sea will reveal what
-
sounds like Egyptian us. The Red Sea will reveal what
-
sounds like Egyptian us. When you go through problem,
-
whether you still have old life in you, that will reveal verses
-
13 and 14. Moses answered the people do not
-
be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the
-
deliverance the Lord will bring you today.
-
Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
-
The Lord will fight for you. You need only to be still.
-
You need only to be still. You don't need to work hard.
-
Its not about striving, its not about working too hard, its not
-
about taking up the sword and fighting the enemy.
-
No, you just need to stand still.
-
Everybody say stand still, is it easy job is not easy job because
-
we are striving, always wanting to fix it, panicking, worrying.
-
You need only to be still. Stop worrying, stop striving,
-
stop panicking, stop fixing. You want to fix immediately, you
-
want to fix. We need to stop that.
-
Be still. Not acting out of fear or panic,
-
but standing in faith some for 6/10 says be still and know that
-
I am God. That's the best word in the
-
whole of the Bible. Be still and know that I am God.
-
We need to become still. Second Chronicles 20 and verse
-
17. You will not have to fight this
-
battle. Take up your position, stand
-
firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.
-
Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid, do not be
-
discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow and
-
the Lord will be with you. That's a prophecy by Jahaziel to
-
Judah and King Joshabad. And in Ephesians 613 therefore
-
take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to
-
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm,
-
to stand firm, to stand still. And in Isaiah 79 it says if you
-
do not stand firm, you will not stand at all.
-
If you don't learn to stand still and see God's power, we
-
won't stand at all. We need to learn to stand firm
-
and faith requires stability. Faith requires stability.
-
We need to learn to be stable. Moses stretched out his hand.
-
You see that three times in this chapter 14, verse 21, verse 26,
-
verse 27, Moses stretched out his hand.
-
How? Why did he do it?
-
Because God commanded stretch out your hand.
-
What is meant by stretching out your hand?
-
Have you asked this question? What is meant by stretching out
-
your hand? You are releasing the authority
-
of God. You are releasing the promise of
-
God. You are releasing the power of
-
God when you stretch out your hand.
-
Why do we touch people when we pray for people?
-
Because we want God's power to be released into them for
-
healing, for restoration, for hope to build.
-
We touch, stretch out a hand. When you stretch your hand, you
-
are releasing the mighty power of God.
-
And when He took the staff in his hand, the stands of the
-
authority of God, and you enforce the authority of God in
-
the situation that is drowning, threatening you to drown,
-
threatening to drown you. You stretch that staff, the
-
authority of God on the problem that is threatening you, and it
-
will subdue, it will be subdued before you.
-
In Psalm 23 it says Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
-
Thy rod stands for the staff that Moses carried and stretched
-
on the Red Sea, and it split before it.
-
God caused the east wind to blow on that sea all night, and there
-
was the sea split into two. Left side is a wall of water,
-
the right side is a wall of water.
-
How this wind was blowing and separating the water at the same
-
time without being blown away? People walked on it.
-
That's a miracle. If the wind is blowing 300 miles
-
an hour, can you stand? And I'm sure it was more
-
powerful than that. The wind was more powerful than
-
that to drive the water and make a way, but yet when the people
-
walked they did was they were not falling down because of the
-
wind speed. That is a miracle.
-
That is a miracle. So Moser, stretch out his hand
-
and I, we had to learn to stretch out a hand on problems
-
of threatening us. We have to stretch out a hand.
-
When you stretch out a hand, you are proclaiming to the Satan,
-
you are proclaiming the situation to the devil and of
-
the fallen angels that they are defeated.
-
They are defeated and they are going to be subdued and you are
-
going to come through the waters on the other end successfully,
-
safely because you are enforcing the authority of God.
-
We have to learn to walk to the Red Sea all of our life.
-
We are going to learn. It's not one day.
-
Every day you see a situation, every day you see a problem.
-
Every day you see some kind of some something that's
-
threatening you. You must learn to stretch out a
-
hand and say in the name of Jesus, who has overcome you, who
-
has defeated you. I come on that things will cease
-
to threaten me anymore. They are going to fall flat
-
before me. You are going to give my you.
-
You will give me way because Jesus has defeated you.
-
It is hard job. Standing still is hard job.
-
And then you see here when we cross through the Red Sea, we
-
leave behind the past life, the abusers, we suffer, addictions,
-
we were enslaved, consequences of past life chasing us, threats
-
of our enemies and the devil that entice us to return.
-
We just leave behind. You will not see the past
-
anymore as Jesus Christ dealt with all that stuff and they
-
cannot rule over us anymore. The dominion is broken, we are
-
free. Pinch yourself and tell yourself
-
I am free, I am free. Pinch yourself, you can't
-
believe it, say I am free. I want to end with the story of
-
a lady called Corit and Boom. Have you heard her name Corit
-
and Boom? When you go home, put it in the
-
YouTube Corit and Boom and you will come across a little
-
little. They made a movie out of a
-
biography hiding place. And when that family, Boom
-
family decided to shelter the Jewish people during the Second
-
World War, they were Gestapo. One day came to know that these
-
people are sheltering people. They came, raided them and
-
arrested them and put them in the concentration camp.
-
And the living conditions were so bad that Betsy, her sister
-
died because of sickness. And before she died, what she
-
said is Betsy death. Cory was suddenly Betsy
-
prophesied. We must tell people that no
-
matter how deep the darkness Gods love is deeper still got us
-
deeper still. Those words were echoing in the
-
mind of Koritan boom. And she survived that
-
constitution camp and one day she was released after Bitsy's
-
death, very suddenly she was released because of a clerical
-
error. They made a mistake of who
-
should be released. Somehow there was a mistake and
-
they came and said, OK, you're going now.
-
And they released her. God comes through, makes people
-
make a mistake and made her to be released from the from the,
-
from the prospect of being put to death.
-
And then while they were in the in the, in the concentration
-
camp, they smuggled a Bible with them all the number of months
-
and years they were in the inside that concentration camp.
-
Their Bible was never discovered by the Gestapo or anybody.
-
They had the Bible and they secretly read it and they
-
started praying for people and they started having lot of women
-
in the concentration camp coming to know the Lord and they had
-
worship services in in the jail inside the concentration camp.
-
Can that happen when the Red Sea is threatening you?
-
God makes a way through the Red Sea.
-
He makes a way through the Red Sea.
-
And then what happened? They held worship services in
-
the barracks. Women came to crash.
-
Hope spread in a place designed to crush hope.
-
Where there was darkness, light came where there was complete
-
darkness. And then she was set free.
-
And when she came out, she became a global ambassador for
-
forgiveness. She had to preach forgiveness.
-
But those people who tormented her finished off her family.
-
She had to forgive them and she had to.
-
She preached this message of forgiveness, which is validated
-
by her own experience, the cross.
-
The message of the cross is so powerful.
-
It becomes more powerful because of your experience.
-
When you speak, because you have gone through the Red Sea, it
-
becomes more powerful. Red Sea experience is never
-
wasted in your life. When He takes you through the
-
Red Sea, it is never wasted. It is for His glory.
-
She preached reconciliation in more than 60 countries.
-
That's almost 1/4 of the world she visited and preached.
-
She forgave the gods who tortured her.
-
She carried the message that God delivers even through death.
-
This morning I just want you to encourage you that do not shut
-
your heart to the Red Sea. Don't say I don't want to go
-
through Red Sea, don't say I want to go through Red Sea
-
either. But when it happens, be strong,
-
be still, and know that he is God.
-
Shall we pray? Thank you Jesus, thank you,
-
Jesus, Thank you Jesus for your word, my Father, in the name of
-
Jesus. Let these words comfort your
-
children. Encourage your children, build
-
their faith, make them strong and make them overcome us.
-
Make them my father like King David who has killed the
-
Goliath. I pray make them my father like
-
King Joshua. Without even fighting, they won
-
the war. Make your children know the
-
power of staying still and seeing your mighty power come
-
through and split the sea for them.
-
What is what is in my heart? There's something that you have
-
gone through that is too much for you to bear, too much for
-
you to bear. And you're saying why, why, why
-
did I have to go through it? I want to pray for you this
-
morning if you come in the front.
-
Because God wants to set you free from your Red Sea.
-
He wants you to take the other side of the Red Sea.
-
He wants to disconnect your past from your future.
-
He wants to disconnect your past from your present.
-
He wants to heal the abuse you have suffered.
-
Whatever you have gone through, difficult situations.
-
He wants to put that nail Pierce hand on your heart and heal your
-
heart. If somebody says now it's too
-
much for me to bear, but I want God to touch me, just stand up
-
and come to the front. We want to pray for you because
-
Jesus wants to heal you. You have to believe.
-
You have to believe and take your freedom.
-
You have to believe and cross through the Red Sea.
-
You have to believe and walk through your victory.
-
You have to believe, you have to believe.
-
The darkness is going, it is defeated, its defeated, its
-
defeated, its defeated. Darkness cannot have power over
-
you anymore. Shahasseh Sarano maba haste

Jesus said. I see set and fall like

-
We need to be in that place. We need to be in that place
-
where we can be with the disciples and see set and fall
-
like lightning. And I tell you, he has been done

with, dealt with, He is defeated, He is defeated, His
-
dominance is broken, His rule is broken, and Jesus Christ has set

you free. You have to believe it.

If any spirit is stopping you from believing your freedom, say

in the name of Jesus, I go free. Now we praise the Lord again,

Father, we thank you for your presence.
-
We thank for your voice. Thank you, Lord, for taking us

by hand and walking us through the Red Sea.

We worship you. We ascribe dominant authority,
