  5. today. And.

  9. Just want to share with you a few few thoughts from Exodus

    Exodus 16 chapter mention

  10. chapter 16. Exodus 16 is the place we talk

  11. about. I Lord put this in my heart, but

  12. not necessarily coupling it with Elisha's dedication.

  13. But it's just gels so beautifully.

  14. You know, everything is flowing smooth.

  15. It is God or any type believe. So before I go into the message,

  16. I want to share a couple of stories so that we understand

  17. more clearly how God provides and how God sustains, how God

  18. protects, how God leads. There is a lady, I mean a young

  19. girl of 19 years of age. Her name was Gladys Aylward.

  20. Anybody heard that name? Gladys Aylward.

  21. She was a house maid in the north of London.

  22. But when she was going to the church and, you know, in times

  23. of prayer, God put in her heart that she should go as a

  24. missionary to China. And that is in the early 1900s,

  25. travel was not easy. There were no flights.

  26. She had to travel by land, by sea, you know, so many different

  27. modes of transport. But she did not have.

  28. She volunteers and goes to the Missionary Society and says,

  29. please send me to China. So they said, OK, you need to go

  30. through Bible college. So she went into the seminary

  31. and she failed the exam. And the lady who was in charge

  32. said, Gladys, you cannot go to China because you have failed in

  33. the Bible course. But this lady, she did not give

  34. up. She kept on praying and asking

  35. God, God, open a door for me. Then there was a request from

  36. one of the missionaries in China that she wanted a helping hand.

  37. She put her hand up. Can I go?

  38. And before that, she was working as a house maid and trying to

  39. save every penny, every, every pound.

  40. And she would take up extra jobs sowing, you know, anything that

  41. she can do to and guest to get an extra pound, she would do it.

  42. So she accumulated some money and then when with great

  43. difficulty, when she was offering herself, the people

  44. said, OK, you can go to China because the lady in China said,

  45. I will take that Lady. And she bought a ticket and was

  46. travelling by train. But the train got stuck up in

  47. Siberia, in Russia, you know, so many difficulties.

  48. But this lady had persisted until she landed in China.

  49. She was called the little woman because she was small in stature

  50. and because of her love for God and serving the people.

  51. People had great respect for her.

  52. She won their respect. And then the Second World War.

  53. During that time the Japanese were attacking China and she had

  54. undertaken to take care of orphans who are about 100 to 200

  55. people, children who during the war they were being deserted.

  56. Parents are being killed, so the children will not have anyone to

  57. take care. She was taking them under her

  58. wings and she heard that the Japanese are going to attack her

  59. village where she is with the children.

  60. So she had to run for nearly 100 miles with this hundred children

  61. and day and night she she took them through for nearly a week

  62. or so. But when she came to the Yellow

  63. River, she was stuck there, exhausted, no food and no

  64. strength. And the children were all

  65. asking, Gladys, we are hungry, how can you sustain ourselves

  66. here? We are going to die.

  67. She said, Don't worry, Jesus is with us.

  68. He is our food. It's not the physical food that

  69. you eat. But when he is with you, he will

  70. give you the strength. And when they were struck by the

  71. river, the Chinese naval ship turned up one day when she was

  72. ready. It is unusual for a Navy Navy

  73. ship to come to that region. And they found the children

  74. famished, weak, exhausted. So they took them into the boat

  75. and gave them food and then helped them cross the river as

  76. well. When we have faith, God will not

  77. abandon us. He is with us.

  78. I tell you my experience that being born in a Hindu family, no

  79. connection with Bible, no connection to prayer, no

  80. connection to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

  81. But there were difficult times when I was going through as a

  82. child. I know it was Jesus who came to

  83. my rescue. Now I know it.

  84. So whether you know him, you don't know him.

  85. When you see supernaturally A provision coming to you, it is

  86. always Jesus. Can you shout Hallelujah?

  87. One more story. You all heard the name of George

  88. Mueller. He was from Bristol IN England

  89. again. He ran 5 orphanages, but he

  90. never appealed for funds. He never asked for money.

  91. Oh, I am running this orphanage, please, I need money, I need

  92. money. No, he never asked for money.

  93. S there was a time one day when there was number bread, no milk

  94. for the children. And he was told in the morning,

  95. hmm, there is nothing there to feed the children.

  96. So he went into the Lord's presence and said, prayed Lord,

  97. you have not let us down even once anytime.

  98. Now we have no bread, no milk, Please provide for the children.

  99. And the night before there was a Baker in the city, in the town,

  100. and he was told in the dream you have to bake bread for the

  101. children. So early morning he woke up and

  102. he break some bread and he brought it to the orphanage and

  103. he gave the bread. Then outside the orphanage there

  104. was a van carrying milk that broke down.

  105. How can you orchestrate these things all to happen at the same

  106. time? It's not in human hands.

  107. It is only God who can do that. So when the milk van broke down,

  108. they said please use the milk before it gets spoiled.

  109. So children had bread and milk. Can we shout Hallelujah?

  110. So this is what I'm talking about.

  111. It is living by faith means looking to Jesus, being

  112. sustained by Him, being provided for by Him, being guided by him,

  113. being led by Him. I tell you, it's an awesome

  114. thing to know this Jesus and also to follow him, his great

  115. joy in it. I have made this decision nearly

  116. 47 years ago and I don't regret it.

  117. I do not regret it. I know he is a living one and he

  118. will not fail. So this particular chapter,

  119. Exodus 16, it talks about God providing, pouring down bread

  120. from heaven. You may say, come on, that

  121. Sunday school's children's story is not true.

  122. No, it is true. You may say, how do you know it

  123. is true? Because after all this event is

  124. over, Moses told Aaron, collect this heavenly bread mana, put in

  125. a golden jar, and put inside the ark of the Covenant as a

  126. testimony to the succeeding generations.

  127. If it was not true, why would he tell them?

  128. It is not mass hypnotism when you are hungry, just somebody

  129. does something and you do not feel hungry anymore.

  130. It is not like that. It is not for a day.

  131. They were fed this supernatural food for 40 years as you are

  132. wandering in the wilderness every day without fail.

  133. They were provided for by God, and when God intervenes and

  134. provides, it is always abundant. Everybody say abundant.

  135. He does not give you little bit here, little bit there.

  136. He gives you abundantly because he is God, because he is God.

  137. SI want you to look at this abundance.

  138. How abundant was the provision he made in the wilderness?

  139. I was reading about King Solomon, his daily amount

  140. required for him every day, how much he spends on food.

  141. He had 10 head of Auxen stable fed.

  142. That means you have to feed the grain and things like that and

  143. then cut it one day and make meat out of it. 10 heads a day

  144. and 20 heads of cattle. There is a grazing on the field

  145. and then you have got sheep and goose and then you have got

  146. ghazal and you got Peacocks and you got so many different kinds

  147. of animals which are rare meats and then so many thousands of

  148. kilos a ton or so of the food being cooked.

  149. I sat down and calculated how many people can eat so much of

  150. food. There were feedings anywhere

  151. between 10,000 to 20,000 people depending on how much they ate.

  152. So that is the requirement of a king for one day.

  153. And think about how much bread is required for feeding 2

  154. million people, 2 million people.

  155. They were each allowed how much to collect.

  156. They had a measure which is, you know, modern day it is equal to

  157. 1.4 liters per head. If there are five people they

  158. can, they are allowed to have 7-7 measures of it or whatever.

  159. But let's go down to make it simple.

  160. Let's make it only one liter per head. 2 million people.

  161. One liter per head. How many liters you have to

  162. gather every day? 200,000 tons. 200,000 I mean, Oh

  163. yeah, 200 tons. That's a lot.

  164. Imagine the whole crash chase being filled with mana

  165. everywhere you walk. That is how much it was

  166. provided. You know the word of God does

  167. not talk many things. It allows your imagination to

  168. understand. It only says God rain down bread

  169. from heaven but how much did he do?

  170. 2 million people have to eat it. So when when these people came

  171. particularly, I want to say one thing here in chapter 16, you

  172. see the whole Israel community set out from Elam and came to

  173. the Desert of Sin, which is between Elam and Sinai on the

  174. 15th day of the second month after they came out of Egypt.

  175. So they were set free by God from Egypt.

  176. They are set free from slavery. They are walking through now how

  177. long have been, how long they have been coming or traveling

  178. since they were set free. Just four weeks because they are

  179. set free 15th day of the first month.

  180. Now this is the 15th day of the second month.

  181. In this four weeks. What did they see?

  182. They saw those 10 plagues, the last plague.

  183. Eldest son of every family died, including animals.

  184. The first born of the animal also died and there was great

  185. cry in Egypt. They said get now, get away from

  186. here. They set them free.

  187. They went and asked for ornaments and silver and gold.

  188. The people of Egypt gave it to them freely, joyfully, because

  189. these people are leaving in one day.

  190. They plundered Egypt, They walked away with the wealth.

  191. All the wealth of Egypt was in the hands of Israel and they

  192. travelled through so much. So much has happened in this

  193. four weeks. The Egyptians came and chased

  194. them and they were stuck by the sea and God opened the way.

  195. Two weeks ago we talked about how God split the Red Sea and

  196. made them walk through the sea. So these are all the mighty,

  197. mighty, mighty miracles. But you know what?

  198. We all humans have got a short term memory.

  199. God can do miracles, but we forget very quickly.

  200. We forget the miracles very quickly.

  201. In four weeks time they forgot this God, how great he is.

  202. And now they started grumbling and murmuring and complaining to

  203. Moses. So that's that's that's what it

  204. is. We have a very short memory.

  205. So what happens here is in the desert, the whole community

  206. grumbled against Moses and Aaron was three.

  207. Israel said to them, if only we had died by the Lord's hand in

  208. Egypt, what does it mean if only God killed us in Egypt?

  209. What they are trying to say they said it is enough.

  210. We do not like this walking by faith.

  211. We do not like this God leading us through desert.

  212. We would have been better off if we had died one month ago in the

  213. Egypt. What they are trying to say is

  214. they do not like. I would say they did not

  215. appreciate the freedom they are getting.

  216. They were looking back to the slavery and enjoying the

  217. slavery. They are saying, ah, we were

  218. slaves, but we had food to eat. We had this fish to eat, we had

  219. this pumpkin, we had this vegetables.

  220. We had all the things we wanted that slavery was better than the

  221. freedom. Now, so many times we don't

  222. appreciate the present time when we go through problems.

  223. When you are going through difficulties, we don't

  224. appreciate God at that time. That's the time we need to have

  225. faith. That's the time we need to look

  226. back the mighty miracles God has done until now, and that will

  227. sustain your present. The past will sustain your

  228. present. The past experience of God will

  229. sustain you in the present situation that you are going

  230. through the crisis. So they came and cried out to

  231. them. They, they were, they said there

  232. were. We sat around pots of meat and

  233. ate all the food we wanted. But you have brought us out into

  234. this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.

  235. So accusing Moses and Aaron, you brought us here to kill again.

  236. That is misdirected. The complaint is misdirected.

  237. Are Moses, Aaron responsible for their situation?

  238. No, it is God who is brought brought them into the desert

  239. instead of crying out to God. My question is like you are

  240. complaining to God, murmuring against God and God is

  241. graciously providing manner. If you ask him nicely will he

  242. give yes or no? Yes, so many times we ask the

  243. wrong way and sometimes we don't get it also because we asked it

  244. the wrong way. We have to know how to ask God.

  245. We have to know how great He is. And we have to appreciate.

  246. We have to praise Him. We have to thank Him and then

  247. ask Him. You know, we are in the

  248. situation, will you please do something about it?

  249. And He'll be glad to do it because He's a heavenly Father.

  250. He wants to answer your prayer. Can we say it loud?

  251. He wants to answer our prayer. That is the question is how do

  252. we ask him? That is the question.

  253. OK, so for them known slavery was looking better than

  254. uncertain freedom. Slavery is known to them 480

  255. years. There were slaves there 480

  256. years, and now they are set free.

  257. But they do not appreciate the freedom.

  258. They look back and say slavery was good, bondage was good,

  259. oppression was good. What kind of people are there?

  260. So this expression of this is an expression of unbelief.

  261. I wish I were dead by the hand of God is saying this is an

  262. expression of unbelief and the desire to live disconnected from

  263. God. They wanted to live a life

  264. disconnected from God. I have nothing to do with this

  265. God. I do not want anything to do

  266. with this God. He can be great, He can do

  267. miracles. I don't want anything now

  268. because of my problem now I don't want him.

  269. We become short sighted when we are going through difficulties

  270. and we complain and God says no my son, no, my daughter, I love

  271. you. I will come through this time.

  272. I'll show you my glory, I I I so he, the Lord gave them

  273. instruction. The Lord said to Moses in verse

  274. four, I will rain down bread from heaven for you.

  275. You know, we need to have faith to expect it to happen.

  276. There was a time in a fam, a famine in Israel and during

  277. Elisha's time and there was a guy who was a commander kind of

  278. a position and Elisha, they go to Elisha and say there was no

  279. food there. Basically the city and there was

  280. a lady who killed her son along with the another lady.

  281. They said today we will eat our son, tomorrow we will eat your

  282. son. But the next day the other lady

  283. said no I do not want my son to be killed, but they ate the son

  284. the day before. When king heard about it he said

  285. no, this is not right and then go to elation complain about it.

  286. Elisha said tomorrow by this time this is what is going to

  287. happen, the grain is going to sell for this price.

  288. A donkey said, is going to sell for this price.

  289. And the commander said, even if God opens the windows of heaven

  290. and pours it down, will it happen?

  291. And Elijah said, you will see it, but not eat it.

  292. And next day, you know, the miracle happened.

  293. The miracle happened and the people of the city, they rushed

  294. out and raided the camp of the enemies and they splendered it

  295. and and it was selling so cheap, the grain and the donkey and

  296. everything. But when they rushed out, they

  297. trampled down this commander and he died.

  298. He saw it but didn't eat it. So what is the what is that that

  299. is going to help you see a miracle in your life?

  300. How can you see a miracle in your life?

  301. There is no other way than faith in this great God.

  302. Trust Him. When things get hot, trust Him.

  303. When it becomes tight, situation is tight, trust Him, praise Him.

  304. His hand will come through and set you free.

  305. So he said, what did the what? The instructions God gave was

  306. very, very simple. He said to them, I will rain

  307. down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each

  308. day and gather enough for the day.

  309. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my

  310. instructions. On the 6th day they have to

  311. prepare what they bring in, and that is to be twice as much as

  312. they gather on other days. That means you gather enough for

  313. the day, do not hold it. So next day morning they find

  314. mana and everybody is happy and some of them go out and gather

  315. lots and lots and they keep some.

  316. And next day morning when they wake up, it is smelling very bad

  317. and they have maggots in it, living creatures crawling inside

  318. and they had to throw it out, everything.

  319. And Moses got very angry with them.

  320. Did I not tell you, You have to trust God for next day's

  321. provision. Do not keep it today.

  322. They did not listen. Come 6th day, they go out and

  323. gather. Moreover, on the first day

  324. itself, some people gathered more, some people gathered less.

  325. But when they put it in the Omer, Omer is a major, is

  326. something like 2.4 liters or two liters.

  327. Omer 1.4 liters, sorry, 1.4 liters.

  328. When they pour it into the Omer, the one who gathered more did

  329. not have anything left. The one who gathered less did

  330. not have less, it was full. How do you explain it?

  331. It is beyond logic. Our logic fails when we deal

  332. with God. Our logic does not come to our

  333. rescue to understand when we deal with God.

  334. So it was like that. And on the 6th day Moses told go

  335. and gather double the quantity, double the quantity.

  336. And they did, they cooked it, they kept the food, but it did

  337. not spoil. Next day, no smell, no maggots,

  338. because God wanted to train them to observe Sabbath. 7th day is

  339. holy to the Lord. You shall do no work.

  340. How you will not do work. Even this is work.

  341. I have put a picture on the Facebook, basically.

  342. I don't know whether we have it accessible here to show.

  343. No, they were just busy. You know, you think of it one

  344. liter per head and you had to go and collect it from the ground.

  345. It is going to be hard work, not easy work.

  346. And that's enough. Let's say the six members in the

  347. family, you have to get 6 liters of it.

  348. It's going to be work. And after you gather it, you can

  349. bake it, you can boil it, do whatever you like with that.

  350. Sometimes when you go to buy potatoes in the market, there

  351. will be tick, tick, tick, baked, tick, you know, boiled tick, so

  352. many things sticks. Then you say, ah, Agria, that is

  353. a good one. Van Rosa, that is a good one.

  354. But here is mana that fits. Anything you do to eat, anything

  355. you do to eat, you bake it, you boil it, you do whatever you

  356. like. And it was good and it was

  357. described as look like coriander, but made with made of

  358. wafers and honey. It tasted like wafers and honey,

  359. but you can bake it, you can do whatever you like.

  360. It was amazing. I am telling you because of this

  361. food. This food is a food of angels,

  362. basically angels in heaven. They feed on mana and God fed

  363. his people with mana. Now when you look into the

  364. Hebrew language mana, you do not have a big thing.

  365. You just have like 2 consonants main and noon ma, M&N.

  366. But the Israelites when they look at M&N, they can read it as

  367. mana. So the vowels are not supplied

  368. when you write it, but those who know the language know what to

  369. say when they look at the consonants.

  370. So mame and noon are the 2 consonants.

  371. Meme stands for number 40 in Hebrew culture and known stands

  372. for 50. So what does meme stand for?

  373. 4040 stands for testing for this stands for wilderness experience

  374. for this stands for going through difficult times and 50

  375. is the year of jubilee when slaves are set free you your

  376. debt is cancelled and you which has walk into freedom.

  377. So manner is a symbolic of both experiences God testing us.

  378. Secondly, God setting us free both is much more I had done

  379. about this one whole day I was stuck on meditating just on meme

  380. the Hebrew letter. I am not going to say all that

  381. now because our time will not be enough for that.

  382. Next thing that we see here is this manner.

  383. Why we are studying about this manner is there was another

  384. person who came along after nearly 1500 years and he said I

  385. am the bread of life. Who is that?

  386. Jesus? That's why we need to study.

  387. So Jesus said I am the bread of life.

  388. And how did he do that? He basically multiplied the

  389. bread in John chapter 6. You see in the miracle that

    John 6 chapter mention

  390. Jesus did was he had five loaves of bread and two fish that from

  391. a small boy and there are 5000 men and women and children.

  392. So if you put them together, I believe it should be at least

  393. 10,000 people. And Jesus says give them

  394. something to eat. And the disciples said, ah, even

  395. if we get so much of money, one years of ages, can we any,

  396. everybody get a bite? Just a bite, No.

  397. And we are in the wilderness. This is a mountain area.

  398. Where will we go and buy, bring this bread?

  399. And Jesus said, make them sit in 50s and hundreds.

  400. So they all were spread out on the mountainside.

  401. And then he took the bread and the fish, he looked up to

  402. heaven, blessed it and gave to the disciples.

  403. And the disciples gave to the people.

  404. Everybody ate that day. Everybody ate stomach full.

  405. They was satiated, they were filled up until that they ate.

  406. And then they start looking for Him.

  407. Next day he left the place, went to some other place.

  408. They came looking for him and found him.

  409. Oh, where did you come here? Jesus said to them, You are

  410. looking for me because you ate stomach full yesterday.

  411. You do not seek God for a miracle.

  412. You seek God for who he is. And they did not seek Jesus

  413. because they want to appreciate him.

  414. They did not seek Jesus because they want to say you are our

  415. Savior, you are our God, you are our king.

  416. No, their stomach was filled by the bread and the fish and they

  417. wanted more of it, and therefore they followed him, looking for

  418. him. I said no, no, no, no.

  419. That's the wrong way to do things.

  420. Christians can do the same thing.

  421. We can seek God for miracles. We can seek God for answers to

  422. our problems, but that is how we are built.

  423. I'm telling you, we are built to know this God and connect with

  424. him through our need. He said show me a man who

  425. doesn't have a need. I was reading about somebody by

  426. name Rockefeller. Rockefeller, He became a

  427. billionaire when he was 30 or 31 years of age.

  428. That is long time ago, when billion was something

  429. unimaginable. Today that wealth is equal to

  430. 238 billion. But when he was 50 or 51, he was

  431. going down downhill. Health was fit and he was not

  432. able to eat anything except soup and something vegetables.

  433. And one day, after one year of suffering, he realized that all

  434. the wealth cannot help him. And he was a Christian too, and

  435. I think the Lord spoke to him to do something with the wealth.

  436. So he started the Rockefeller Foundation.

  437. He started donating money, and because of that, penicillin was

  438. discovered because of his generosity and many people who

  439. are held helped and so much good has come out of it.

  440. But after one year, what he discovered was that his health

  441. started improving when he started giving away the money

  442. and he lived for another 44 years.

  443. What am I trying to say here? You see God not to benefit, just

  444. you see God for His glory. There is a plan and a purpose

  445. God has for your life. Ask him, what do you want to do

  446. with my life? I give my life into your hands.

  447. And you will be blessed for doing that.

  448. You'll be blessed for doing it. So here we have the story and as

  449. we were listening, the people asked Jesus what is the question

  450. they asked in 620 John 628. They asked him, what must we do

  451. to do the works of God, works God requires.

  452. Jesus answered. The work of God is this to

  453. believe in the one he has sent. That's your work.

  454. It is not to climb this port hills, not to go up the Alps or

  455. Mount Everest. It is to believe in Jesus.

  456. That is the work you do. And when you believe in him, you

  457. find fulfillment in your life. Meaning, purpose.

  458. Everything comes by that faith. You know when when Jesus speaks,

  459. people always respond in a positive way.

  460. So when he was talking about the heavenly bread, they said give

  461. us this bread every day. Then he says I am the bread of

  462. life. Bread is not an object outside

  463. of you, it is in Jesus. He is the bread of life.

  464. If you learn to feed on him, you, he will sustain you because

  465. of your faith. Gladys Aleward, He told the

  466. children, Jesus is our bread, He is everything to us.

  467. And what happened? Did they find help when they

  468. needed it? Very interestingly, Gladys

  469. became sick after crossing the river.

  470. She had no strength, she was dehydrated, and she needed help

  471. herself. But she helped those hundred

  472. children sustain through the wilderness for a week, no food,

  473. no water, and they were just struggling.

  474. But God came through and saved those 100 people because of

  475. faith. Because of faith.

  476. And we can experience this Jesus.

  477. I am telling you as one who has come from another faith.

  478. I am not born in a Christian family.

  479. I was born a Hindu worshipping idols.

  480. But at the age of 16 I heard about Jesus.

  481. And I said to Jesus, only one thing I want to know.

  482. I hear that you are a living God.

  483. All the gods in Hinduism are dead, but you are a living God.

  484. Prove yourself living God. In my life there was a one

  485. sentence. I prayed and my life turned from

  486. there. And after 47 years, I stand

  487. before you to say that He is a living God.

  488. I have no regret. You make that step of faith and

  489. He will not fail you. You make the step of faith, He

  490. will not fail you. And he talked to a lady by

  491. Samaritan woman at the well. Give me some water to drink.

  492. He has a long conversation. But after all, she said you

  493. don't have a rope, you don't have a bucket, how are you going

  494. to give me? He said if you know who is it

  495. that is asking you for water, you will ask Him and He will

  496. give you reverse, allowing water to flow out of your belly.

  497. It becomes like a well within you.

  498. She said give me this water so that I do not have to come here

  499. every day. Was it physical?

  500. No, she still did not understand.

  501. Believing in Jesus is He is our food, He is our drink.

  502. All that you need is food and drink, bread and water.

  503. He is both. He will sustain you if you have

  504. faith in Him. You know the more I think about

  505. Jesus every day, my appreciation for Jesus increases.

  506. I tell you, after 40 plus years of believing in Him, every day

  507. is a new day. Every day I look at His face is

  508. something new I hear about Him, something new.

  509. I learn about Him and my heart rejoices because He is such a

  510. loving God. He gives keeps revelation all

  511. the time. Your understanding keeps

  512. increasing and you can never exhaust him.

  513. One lifetime is not enough to understand Him.

  514. So mana must be collected daily. We must avoid in Jesus daily.

  515. That is the parallel that we have as they depended on mana

  516. every day. We have to depend on Jesus every

  517. day. You have to feed on Him every

  518. day. Then the word mana that we have

  519. in English, in Hebrew it is man who?

  520. Everybody say man who? So I told you about maim and

  521. noon already. So that's man who, because when

  522. they saw the bread flex of it on the ground, they saw it and

  523. said, what is it? In Hebrew it means man who?

  524. And Moses said, that is the bread that God has rained down

  525. from heaven for you. So ever since he's been known as

  526. man who or in English translation mana manna is the

  527. heavenly bread reign known from heaven.

  528. But it has puzzled the people who received it.

  529. So are the people in the 1st century puzzled when they saw

  530. Jesus? Jesus said I am the bread of

  531. life. They said what is he saying?

  532. What is he saying? Is he not the son of Joseph and

  533. Mary? Don't you know his brothers and

  534. sisters? How can he say he is the bread

  535. come from heaven? When you hear about Jesus, it

  536. puzzles you. It will upset you sometimes,

  537. will disturb you. But I tell you, the only way you

  538. understand Jesus is by faith. You cannot rationalize Him.

  539. You cannot put him in a box, you cannot analyze him.

  540. You cannot put him in a test tube.

  541. He is beyond our inquiry. He is God, He is outside this

  542. world, yet he invaded the world and he wants to invade our own

  543. life, our world, by stepping into our life.

  544. But we need to say come into my heart.

  545. When we do that, you receive real bread, real drink.

  546. I'm not even halfway through, but I'll tell you some clues so

  547. you can go home and pursue this topic.

  548. There are three places man has discussed.

  549. One is Exodus chapter 16. The 2nd place that you see man

    Exodus 16 chapter mention

  550. are discussed in John chapter 6 in the gospel.

    John 6 chapter mention

  551. And the third place is 1 Corinthians chapter 10.

    1 Corinthians 10 chapter mention

  552. There are some warnings given. Whatever happened to Israel

  553. happened as an example to us. That's what Paul writes.

  554. Whatever happened that would happen to that example so that

  555. you may learn from this experience, that you may

  556. experience this Jesus as they experience.

  557. Why? Because he says they fed on

  558. this. They fed by the supernatural

  559. food and supernatural drink. The rock that followed them was

  560. Jesus Christ. They drank from the rock that

  561. followed him, followed them. That is Jesus Christ.

  562. That is the that is the time when I was thinking about it, I

  563. said, oh, even when I did not know him, He was my bread, He

  564. was my drink. I tell you how refreshing it is

  565. to think thoughts of Jesus. It puts New Hope, it puts new

  566. power in your heart. So I leave it there.

  567. Basically in that one course, chapter 10, it says don't be

  568. idolaters. We should not commit sexual

  569. immorality, we should not test Christ, do not gramble.

  570. They all had negative consequences.

  571. All these actions, they had negative consequences.

  572. But when you have faith, you are delivered, you're fed, you're

  573. provided for, you're guided, you're protected.

  574. And that can happen by faith, only by faith.

  575. There's no other way. So what I want to do now is

  576. this. Jesus said I am the bread.

  577. So we are going to feed by faith and partake in the communion.

  578. The communion stands for his, His body and the blood.

  579. That's the food and drink. That bread that we eat

  580. represents his body and the juice we have represents His

  581. blood. That is the water the Israel

  582. drank from the rock. The rock is split so that they

  583. can be. Their thirst can be satisfied.

  584. So we need to feed on His body and the blood.

  585. That is what we do when we partake in the communion.

  586. And when you have the communion, whatever you ask, your prayer is

  587. going to be answered. You ask for healing.

  588. Jesus, I eat your body and drink your blood.

  589. Heal me. Now you will receive your

  590. healing and whatever is troubling you that is going to

  591. be removed because He will put His finger and remove the

  592. problem in your life. So let us partake in the

  593. communion. Now what we have here, we have a

  594. table set here in the front on the right hand side and this one

  595. on the left hand side and we can move out of our chairs.

  596. If you believe in this Jesus and you want to feed on His body and

  597. the blood, you can walk to any of the table and pick up a piece

  598. of bread and pick up a small cup and come back to your seat and

  599. we will partake together. We all will have at the same

  600. time, Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord, I read.

  601. There's a relationship between you and God.

  602. Many of us have come as Christians, that of Egypt, and

  603. we're in the wilderness and God wants to fix what is broken in

  604. our relationship. With Yeah Man Communion.

  605. It's a time where you can make an exchange.

  606. Please feel free to. Walk to the table, pick up a

  607. piece of bread and the grape juice which represents blood.

  608. And when you come back? To your seat we will partake

  609. together after prayer. Thank you Jesus.

  610. Hallelujah Shah hastre barabanda sistakuru reena

  611. Mashakarastakirini. Thank you.

  612. Jesus, Thank you. Jesus.

  613. Thank you. Jesus, thank you.

  614. Lord, you are our. Bread.

  615. Thank you, Lord, for your drink. You sustain us by faith in you.

  616. We will be sustained. We will be protected.

  617. We will be provided, guided. Thank you, Lord.

  618. Thank you Jesus. If anyone is not able.

  619. To go to the table, we'll bring it to you.

  620. Anybody who needs it, if you put your hand up, we'll bring it to

  621. you. OK, let's pray first before.

  622. We partake in it, Father, we thank you for your Son Jesus

  623. Christ. We thank you for He is the bread

  624. from heaven. We thank you for his blood.

  625. That is a drink we pray in our Father.

  626. As you partake in this bread and this juice, in the name of Jesus

  627. Father, we are partake in his body and the blood.

  628. And as we partake in the body and the blood, by faith, I pray

  629. that you heal us. Everybody who partakes in your

  630. flesh and your drink the blood, let them receive your healing

  631. and let them receive answer to the problem they are going

  632. through when they are walking through the wilderness.

  633. You be. You come through my Father, and

  634. you help them. You save them.

  635. You direct their paths and I pray that they may find a way

  636. where there's no way to the glory of your name.

  637. In the name of Jesus, command healing for those who need

  638. healing. And I command right now in the

  639. name of Jesus a way to be opened so that they may see your hand

  640. in their life to the glory of your name.

  641. Let the crisis pass by. Let the door open is a looking

  642. for a job. Let the job come.

  643. I pray my Father, whatever is their need, let that need be

  644. fulfilled to the glory of your name.

  645. Thank you again, a father for your Son Jesus, His broken body

  646. bread with with Thanksgiving. We partake in it.

  647. Accept our praise and Thanksgiving in Jesus name,

  648. Amen. Let's partake by faith in his

  649. body and the blood. Let's give thanks.

  650. Thank you again Father, for your Son Jesus.

  651. Thank you for his broken body and the shed blood we gave.

  652. We give you glory. Honor and praise.

  653. Thank you for the salvation. Thank for the forgiveness of

  654. sins. Thank you, Lord, Father, for the

  655. healing. Thank you, Father, for the

  656. provision. We thank you for the way that is

  657. opening up before us. We thank you, Father, for you

  658. are with us. You are the Good Shepherd and we

  659. lack nothing. We thank.

  660. You because you're anoint our. Head with oil Thank you because

  661. you set a table before the enemy, before our enemies in the

  662. wilderness. We thank you for your goodness

  663. and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life.

  664. We honor you, we praise you, We thank you again for the ability

  665. you're given us, the joy of parting in the blood and the

  666. bread of your Saint Jesus. We praise you, Father, for this

  667. gift that you're given us in Jesus mighty name.

  668. And everybody says Amen, Amen. We come to.

  669. The parting blessing. Now.

  670. Sema is coming for the parting. Blessing.

  671. Let's all stand up and put your hand on someone standing close

  672. to you. As you bless them.

  673. Receive your own blessing. Praise be to.

  674. God and the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, in His great mercy he

  675. has given us new birth into a living hope through the

  676. resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

  677. Amen. Thanks for joining us at.
