  9. Exodus chapter 19 verses 1:00 to 6:00.

    Exodus 19 chapter mention

  10. On the first day of the third month, after the Israelis left

  11. Egypt, on that very day they came to the desert of Sinai.

  12. After they set out from Refidim, they entered the desert of

  13. Sinai, and Israel camped there in the desert in front of the

  14. mountain. Then Moses went up to God, and

  15. the Lord called him from the mountain and said, This is what

  16. you are to say to the descendants of Jacob, and what

  17. you are to tell the people of Israel.

  18. You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt and how I carried

  19. you on eagle's wings and brought you to myself.

  20. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of

  21. all the nations you will be my treasured possession.

  22. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a

  23. Kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

  24. These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.

  25. It is amazing words I am telling you.

  26. The very first thing that I want to say here is about the Mount

  27. Sinai. Why it is important for Moses.

  28. First of all, it is important to Moses, you know, you realize

  29. that why it is important to Moses, where he was keeping the

  30. sheep and you know, the cattle of his father-in-law.

  31. He was roaming on this mountains.

  32. He saw the burning Bush. Where was it?

  33. Mount Sinai. So he saw the Bush caught on

  34. fire, but the Bush itself is not burning.

  35. He only saw the flames, but the Bush itself is not Catching

  36. Fire. So he came nearer to see what is

  37. it. So as he came nearer, he heard

  38. the voice coming from the Bush. Moses.

  39. Moses, here am I. Take off the sandals because the

  40. ground on which you are standing is holy.

  41. And you see you see lot of the other things in Exodus,

  42. beginning of the Exodus you will see all this story.

  43. But one of the things, things in chapter 3 verse 12, the Lord

  44. said to him, God said, I will be with you and this will be the

  45. sign to you that it is I who have sent you.

  46. When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship

  47. God on this mountain. Is it happening now, happening

  48. now? It is happening now.

  49. So it is important for Moses that he is called by God.

  50. It is important for Moses that it is a fulfillment of the

  51. promise of God that I will. I am sending you to Egypt, but

  52. you will bring the people and worship me here on this

  53. mountain. That is fulfilled.

  54. A prophecy fulfilled. So chapter 19 is a prophecy

  55. fulfilled. Now I want to encourage you if

  56. you have a word God has spoken into your life anytime any

  57. promise you wholeheartedly believed it is going to be

  58. fulfilled. Can I share a Amen.

  59. So if you receive a word from God, it will be fulfilled.

  60. I am telling you Omega is not built on anybody's imagination

  61. is not because I want to start a church so many times I said I do

  62. not want to write a book. I do not want to write a start

  63. an organization, but it is God who spoke in the year 2000

  64. Build, come build the Church of God and it was fulfilled in 2019

  65. when I got the call and in 2020 we started the church after the

  66. corvid. So this is not our imagination.

  67. Don't look at the few people now and say, hey, this is this man

  68. says God called him, but this look at see if there are no

  69. people here, not many, it's coming.

  70. Even if some more go from here, it does not mean God has not

  71. called his church into existence.

  72. God has called his into existence.

  73. He has a plan and a purpose. So that is first thing that we

  74. want to keep it in mind. Second thing here is this is the

  75. third month after the Israelites left Egypt.

  76. How long third month? Why do we have to focus on the

  77. third month? This is third month, let's say

  78. first day of the third month. They have reached there.

  79. So in the last two months, what things have happened in two

  80. months? In the last two months, what

  81. have happened? God brought the 10 plagues and

  82. set them free. After every elders of the first

  83. born of the male are dead, they let them go and they came and

  84. they pursued them. They were destroyed in the Red

  85. Sea. God opened the Red Sea, saved

  86. the Israelites, but killed the Pharaoh and his army.

  87. And you see this pillar of fire by night and pillar of cloud by

  88. day, guiding them. When it lifts they they travel.

  89. When they, it settles, they set their camp and stay there.

  90. So they have been going around this wilderness, but God was

  91. with them in the wilderness. Everybody say God was with them

  92. in the wilderness. Whatever problem we are going

  93. through, whatever pain we are going through, whatever sickness

  94. you are going through, God is with you in your problem.

  95. He is with you. As you acknowledge that He is

  96. with me, it becomes lighter. You try it, you go on, oh, this

  97. pain, it will become more. You feel more.

  98. The pain may not be more in terms of if you have a

  99. instrument to measure your pain, it may not be more, but because

  100. you are saying it, you feel more pain.

  101. But you say the Lord is with me in this, it will become less.

  102. He is dwelling in you. So release the Holy Spirit, ask

  103. the Holy Spirit, Lord, move from my Spirit to the part where this

  104. pain and command that pain to go in the name of Jesus.

  105. It will go. It will go.

  106. That is how we had to learn to fight.

  107. And on the very day they came to the desert of Sinai, So they

  108. have come to the desert of Sinai.

  109. I mean, the theologians are not very clear about this word

  110. Sinai. What does it mean, where it

  111. comes from and all. So I don't want to go deep into

  112. it, but Saina is a mountain and we see that God commands them to

  113. wash their clothes and get ready for visitation.

  114. God is going to come down on the mountain, going to speak to

  115. them. He says you have to prepare

  116. yourself. How do you prepare yourself?

  117. Three things he said #1 is to wash their bodies.

  118. That means they have to take bath or they have to plunge into

  119. some source of water and get cleaned to wash their clothes. 3

  120. Abstain from intimacy with their spouse men.

  121. This most of the time it is referred to men.

  122. So they have to abstain from intimacy with their wives.

  123. These are the three conditions and 3rd day God is going to come

  124. and meet them. I did lot of thinking about it,

  125. but in the New Testament you do not have that kind of

  126. application now. But there are times when Paul

  127. himself writes, do not avoid intimacy unless both of you

  128. agree for a season of prayer. You want to seek God, say I want

  129. to fasten and pray for three days And you want to tell the

  130. husband tells the wife, OK, I am going to fasten and pray and she

  131. understands there is no intimacy for three days.

  132. Or the wife says I want to fasten and pray.

  133. Husband understand law, it is 3 days, no intimacy, but what he

  134. says is but do not prolong it come together.

  135. So it is one of those things it is like a it is like a oil in a

  136. in a machine. There is friction.

  137. The moving parts are there big machine and if you put oil, what

  138. happens less friction and machine moves good.

  139. So this is one of those things God gives as a lubricating oil

  140. to reduce the friction to bring love, understanding unity.

  141. So I believe that it is one of those blessings of God and now

  142. you do not need to follow like the Old Testament.

  143. I am saying, oh, I am praying now.

  144. So I am not going to be intimate with my wife or the wife says

  145. no, I am praying now. I am not going to be intimate

  146. with my husband. Absolutely rubbish.

  147. Now. Why?

  148. Because it is not God's plan anymore.

  149. It is our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  150. We have to keep it in holiness and we should always see God and

  151. live in union with Him and does not necessarily mean one of

  152. these things to avoid. I, I see a couple, uh, I have

  153. observed a couple who are allotted to prayer, but I, after

  154. some time the marriage fell off, though it broke.

  155. One of the things I understand is that that lubricating oil is

  156. missing. That is how I understood it.

  157. So we should not, uh, what you call it, some other secular

  158. article I was reading. And in that they said after some

  159. time there will be times when the love will go down.

  160. It is not going to be always burning bread.

  161. When as you get married, you know, there is a lot of love,

  162. lot of emotion. It will not be there after some

  163. time. The pressures will come,

  164. children problems. It is going to hit you very,

  165. very hard. But what that what that this is

  166. secular article. I am telling you it is not about

  167. religious art. It is secular article.

  168. And what the wife says is I do not feel the same way I used to

  169. feel for my husband before and wife or the husband says well, I

  170. I do not feel the same way before.

  171. But this is called the intimacy is called the maintenance dose

  172. It is to maintain the relationship it has to it has to

  173. be done. Try it.

  174. I will say it wherever it is dry, wherever it is dry, you

  175. need to try to improve the marriage.

  176. That is what I'm trying to say. Why?

  177. Because here in the oldest was written, but in the New

  178. Testament it says you agree for a short time, but then to

  179. restore it afterward. And that is good for the

  180. families because you are to live in love and understanding and

  181. grow together. It is one of those things.

  182. And some people, some people say, does the church have

  183. anything to say about marriages? I am saying it today, restore

  184. what needs to be restored so that there is joy in the family

  185. and unity in the family. Cool.

  186. Next thing is we see here if you read the whole chapter 19, Moses

  187. has gone up and down the mountain at least three times.

  188. How many times? Three times.

  189. You see, first time in verse 3, then Moses went up to God and

  190. the Lord called him from the mountain and said this is what

  191. you ought to say to the House of his Jacob.

  192. So when Moses went up to God and the Lord called him from the

  193. mountain, this is not completely going up to the top of the

  194. mountain. No, he just started going

  195. towards the mountain, maybe quarter, quarter away.

  196. And then the voice came from the mountain to Moses.

  197. So when you take one step, even few steps towards God, God takes

  198. that step to speak to you. See, I used to teach doctrine of

  199. God several for many, many years in the camp, student camp.

  200. I would say God is infinite and personal.

  201. But that's all I knew at that time.

  202. But now if I had to teach the doctrine of God, I would say God

  203. is infinite and personal and a God who speaks, you take out the

  204. words, God who speaks. You do not have God of the

  205. Bible. That part personal has

  206. communication itself in it, but I never emphasized it.

  207. That's why I am adding it as a special phrase.

  208. God who speaks, that is the God of the Bible.

  209. Have you heard His voice? If you have not heard his voice,

  210. then something is really missing, very, very important

  211. and missing. So restore, seek Him again what

  212. He is trying to do tell you, tell us today, this morning is

  213. you take few steps, set apart a time, fix time to seek Him, fix,

  214. fix time to pray. And you will see that God takes

  215. the steps to speak to you. And you practice it for three to

  216. six months. And you tell me, if you have not

  217. heard the voice of God, come and talk, talk to me because it will

  218. not fail. He has spoken through

  219. generations to many people He has spoken.

  220. The voice of the Lord comes, but we have to have the discipline

  221. to hear Him and we are going to hear His voice.

  222. And here Moses, he wanted to go up the mountain and God already

  223. speaks. He says OK, OK stop there, go

  224. back. This is what you have to say to

  225. the House of Jacob and what you have to tell the people of

  226. Israel. Jacob and Israel are synonymous.

  227. House of Jacob, House of is there.

  228. It means the same thing. You yourself have seen what I

  229. did to Egypt, how I carried you on the eagles wings and brought

  230. you to myself. Now if you obey me fully and

  231. keep my covenant, then out of all the nations you will be my

  232. treasured possession. Although the whole earth is

  233. mine, you will be for me a Kingdom of priest and a holy

  234. nation. This is the most important

  235. central words of chapter 19. All other things explain that.

  236. So what? What is God saying here is

  237. number one thing he says is, you know what I have done to Egypt?

  238. You know the miracles I have done the 10th place I sent.

  239. You know how I split the sea? You know how my pillar of my

  240. presence went with you? Pillar of cloud by day, pillar

  241. of fire by night. All these things I am telling

  242. you to prove only one point. It is like an eagle that teaches

  243. its carries its young on its wings.

  244. I have brought you from Egypt to Mount Sinai.

  245. Well, wherever you are right now is Mount Sinai for you.

  246. Any number of years you have gone, walked with God.

  247. God says I have brought you up to this point like an eagle

  248. carries its young. What?

  249. What does this mean to you? To me?

  250. Eagles have got a funny way of raising their kids, You know, do

  251. we Do we do that with our kids? I don't know, I don't think so.

  252. But the eagle, when it's hatched, it brings the food,

  253. breaks into pieces, feeds it. But once the young eaglets

  254. become little bigger and the wings are spreading, it knows

  255. the time it disturbs the nest and breaks it down and makes

  256. forces the eagle eaglet to fly. And when it is thrown from up

  257. somewhere, the Cliff is trying to find how to fly.

  258. It is flying below so that in case the eaglet loses balance or

  259. doesn't, cannot fly, has no strength, it's collapsing, it's

  260. falling down, it's going to catch so that it will be on the

  261. back of the eagle. It will carry to safety again.

  262. And then after a day or two, throw from there again.

  263. So that that's how it teaches the young to fly.

  264. Amazing things. I tell you.

  265. If an eagle has enough common sense to do that, how much more

  266. God will do with your life. He will disturb your life.

  267. Everything is going good. Sometimes it happened to me,

  268. everything was going good. But He loses the job.

  269. So at that time it is painful. But God is teaching something.

  270. He is teaching me how to hear His voice.

  271. He is teaching me how to come close to Him.

  272. He is teaching me how to obey Him in spite of the problems.

  273. So that is what His life is all about.

  274. He disturbs the nest. He throws you up from the head

  275. from a height, and then He is flying below to catch you.

  276. And now with all these things, what he is saying is from Egypt

  277. I brought you to Mount Sinai, basically talking about the

  278. experience of being born again. What is it about born again?

  279. He gives you the gospel and after you believe the gospel, He

  280. keeps on helping you to grow. So the process is He brings you

  281. to the mountain. Why you know you have to learn

  282. to hear his voice. That is the second step.

  283. You have to know him in a way that you have not known him

  284. before. That is why he brings you to the

  285. mountain of Sinai. Other thing that had to do a lot

  286. of research was I spent a lot of time in sometimes, you know

  287. going what do you call rabbit holes, chasing the rabbit holes.

  288. So in this desert, how this 2 million people are going to take

  289. bath, how they are going to wash their clothes was their source

  290. of water. Right now when you go there to

  291. Mount Sinai, there is no, no water there, no water there.

  292. But 2500 years ago or 3000 years years ago, there was at least 4,

  293. four sources of water around the mountain, four sources enough

  294. for them to do it. So I said, OK, Bible is right,

  295. Bible is right. So whenever you get a doubt, do

  296. some more research. Then you know that Bible is

  297. right. So that is what it is.

  298. And then what he says is I carried you, I brought you on

  299. eagle's wings and brought you to myself.

  300. He brought them to where? Mount Sinai people can mistake

  301. the place, the job, whatever that you are acquiring, the

  302. person you meet as the object of your journey.

  303. No its not for a boy meeting a girl or for a girl meeting a boy

  304. is not the object, it is only a means of coming to himself.

  305. You need to make God your center of your life.

  306. God said I brought you to myself.

  307. You have to know God. That's your primary objective in

  308. your life, primary goal. That one objective that you have

  309. is to know God and He brings you to Himself.

  310. My question is, have you had this encounter with God?

  311. Have you seen His power? Have you heard His voice?

  312. Have you seen His guidance? And then you have everything to

  313. rejoice about because that is normal Christian life.

  314. When these things are missing, normal Christian life is

  315. missing. We may think we are believers,

  316. we may think we are something, but I tell you we are nothing.

  317. We need to have these things. We need to have the experience

  318. of being born again. We must have the experience of

  319. hearing the voice of God, encounter with the Holy Spirit.

  320. Very, very important, very, very important.

  321. Now he says, now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then

  322. out of all nations you will be my treasured position.

  323. Everybody say treasured position.

  324. In the Hebrew it is called Shagullah.

  325. Shagullah Shagullah is a treasure position.

  326. What is the treasure position? It is for some.

  327. It is something for which you work very hard and to obtain it.

  328. It's not something you casually find.

  329. Treasure position is you pursue. Likely you want to buy a house.

  330. You have to work hard, maybe for five years to raise the money

  331. and then you are able to. Pay the deposit and then you go

  332. on making some more money and to pay pay off the mortgage that

  333. becomes your treasure possession or is anything else you want to

  334. buy a field. You are a you are a farmer and

  335. then you want to buy a field that becomes your treasure

  336. possession. You work for it and we possess

  337. it and God says I have worked for you.

  338. I have 4 seen you out of all the nations have chosen you is God

  339. of the whole world. He is God of the whole world,

  340. there is no doubt about it. But for Himself, what He did was

  341. He chose one particular people who are called Hebrews or the

  342. Israelites, and God wanted to choose them to demonstrate to

  343. the world that He is true, that He is a living God, and through

  344. them other nations will know and connect with Him.

  345. In order to purge these people from idolatry and to give them

  346. the revelation of true and living God, He chose a people

  347. and He brought them to Himself. And that is the treasure

  348. position. And Jesus himself, when he was

  349. teaching, He talked about a man who found a Pearl of great value

  350. hidden in the ground. What did he do?

  351. He goes and sells all that he has and crumbs and pays and buys

  352. that land so that he can possess that Pearl of great value or

  353. treasure, hidden treasure, he finds it.

  354. He sells all that he has and he buys the field so he can possess

  355. it. My question is, God has done

  356. that part out of all the 7 billion people.

  357. He has given you the knowledge of salvation so that he can

  358. believe in Jesus and be saved. My question is, do you consider

  359. God as a treasured possession? I hear only one voice.

  360. Can I hear everybody? Yes, that is what it is.

  361. That is when you say God is my treasure position and God says

  362. you are my treasure position. There is a love relationship

  363. between God and you. There is a love relationship and

  364. that relationship will become stronger and stronger every day,

  365. not become weaker. You have to value God.

  366. You have to have respect for God.

  367. You have to appreciate God. You must love God.

  368. You must worship Him. You must praise Him.

  369. That is what Omega is all about. We are here to become a

  370. community of worshiping people. Worship Jesus.

  371. Are we going further or? OK, that's good.

  372. So now he says, what will happen then?

  373. You will be for me a Kingdom of priest and holy nation.

  374. Kingdom of priest and holy nation.

  375. See when God selected this family of Jacob, he had twelve

  376. sons and then one of them was a Levite.

  377. Levite. And then through the sons of

  378. Levi you got here Moses and Aaron.

  379. And then God really chooses this particular family so they will

  380. be priests and rest of them they are not.

  381. And he chooses the tribe of Judah so that they can Kingdom

  382. can belong to the tribe of Judah.

  383. Every king that comes and rules over Jerusalem and the southern

  384. Kingdom has has to belong to the tribe of Judah.

  385. But what God is saying is from the beginning this is God's

  386. vision. We try to have a narrow vision,

  387. but God has a broad vision. God's vision is everyone should

  388. be a priest and everyone should be a king.

  389. So if everyone of us are king, are we subject to each other?

  390. We are equals. We are equals.

  391. If everybody is a priest, same situation, you become equals.

  392. Somebody is more, me less, I am more, he is less.

  393. Doesn't work. God's man.

  394. Is that now the same thing you see in the New Testament when

  395. you see first Peter 29, Peter writes.

  396. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,

  397. God's special possession. That is the same words used

  398. here. You are a treasured position,

  399. special position that you may declare the praises of him who

  400. called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

  401. So He is connecting this to salvation.

  402. This experience of Exodus 19 is putting into the words of

  403. salvation for everybody. You are being drawn from

  404. darkness, brought into this wonderful light, marvelous

  405. light, so that you can become a treasured possession, so you can

  406. become a royal priesthood, holy nation.

  407. The very word royal priesthood is a combination of 2 words,

  408. royal and priesthood, your king and a priest, your king and a

  409. priest. But where will you be a king and

  410. a priest? It is to those who don't know

  411. God. You are a priest and you will be

  412. a king. Rule over them by faith.

  413. So in order to be a royal priesthood, we must be able to

  414. stand. What does the priest do?

  415. He mediates between God and people.

  416. Unless you become a prayer warrior, how can you be a priest

  417. unless you stand in the presence of God and say God?

  418. I want to pray for these people, People of Pray Bolton, only 5000

  419. people, 2000 families. I pray for this place now, in

  420. the name of Jesus my father, save these people, utterly,

  421. completely save them. Bring them to the knowledge of

  422. yourself. I pray for the Lincoln area, I

  423. pray for the Christchurch area, I pray for the Canterbury area.

  424. You have to be a priest interceding in the presence of

  425. God. Am I making sense?

  426. Suppose you don't pray. What are you doing?

  427. What are you doing? When you go to the hospital, you

  428. see doctors wearing a white coat.

  429. OK. And if he doesn't wear the white

  430. coat and he walks into the ward, will anybody say you are a

  431. doctor? You are thrown off your coat.

  432. That makes you people, makes you that make people recognize you

  433. as a doctor. You are a priest when you don't

  434. pray. You are like a doctor walking

  435. without a coat. You are a king.

  436. What does a king have? A crown on his head and people

  437. around him. And you are a king.

  438. When you speak a word, it will be carried out.

  439. King doesn't have to tell you please go by means this and

  440. that. Make me lasagna.

  441. He says I want to have lasagna and the servants run around and

  442. do whatever needs to be done and serve him lasagna.

  443. You need to know you are a king. When you speak with your word in

  444. the name of Jesus, that will be carried out by the angels of God

  445. who hear your voice. So now what is happening is you

  446. are, you have pains and things and you have got a sickness.

  447. You have got so many problems in the family, in the job and

  448. finance. Everything is a mess.

  449. You are not working as a king. Am I trying to accuse anybody?

  450. No, we all learn to grow into this.

  451. We had to learn to grow into this.

  452. You had to learn to stand in the presence of God and say a lot of

  453. thank you for choosing me. Thank you for I am your royal

  454. priesthood, holy nation. And now in the name of Jesus, I

  455. speak this thing to happen. I speak blessing over my job.

  456. I speak blessing over my finances.

  457. I speak blessing over my children.

  458. I speak blessing over my health. I speak blessing over my

  459. destiny, my future. You are functioning as a king.

  460. When you don't do it, you are walking like a man without a

  461. crown. I am not accusing anybody.

  462. I have also walked in ignorance. I have grown in the Lord.

  463. Not in a year or two, you know, next year I will be walking with

  464. girl for 50 years. That's not a small time.

  465. So, ah, don't look at me and say this man is trying to tell me

  466. down, put me down. No, I'm not trying to.

  467. I'm encouraging. We have to be living like kings

  468. and priests. That's my purpose, nothing more.

  469. And then so this is the first time Moses goes up the mountain

  470. halfway, comes down, talks to the people, and then he again

  471. goes S Moses went back. He went back a second time and

  472. summoned the elders of the people and said before them all

  473. the words of the Lord had commanded him to speak.

  474. The people all respond together we will do everything the Lord

  475. has said. So Moses brought their answer

  476. back to the Lord. So he goes up the mountain a

  477. second time and then he says, no, no, you go back down.

  478. Tell the people not to come up the mountain.

  479. If they come and touch the base, the foot of the mountain, they

  480. are going to die. They should be put to death.

  481. Moses says you only told, you told already that no man or

  482. animal should come up the mountain, so they are not going

  483. to come. No, no, you go down South.

  484. He has to come down again. And again he says, OK, bring

  485. Aaron, your brother with you up. And they prepared themselves,

  486. wash their big bath in the waters around, wash their

  487. clothes, abstain from intimacy. They're waiting for God to

  488. confront them. And then what happens on the

  489. third day early in the morning, they can feel the earth is

  490. shaking, its like an earthquake and they see loud peaks of

  491. Thunder. And then they look up on the

  492. mountain. The dark cloud came upon it and

  493. the fire was coming down upon the mountain, consuming the top

  494. portions of it. And people all were afraid.

  495. And when Moses spoke to God, God answered back from the mountain.

  496. Where is it written? Verse 19 And the sound of the

  497. trumpet grew louder and louder. Then Moses spoke, and the voice

  498. of God answered him. What an amazing experience.

  499. Now theologists have got a word to explain it.

  500. It's called propositional revelation.

  501. Everybody say propositional revelation.

  502. What is proportional revelation? God speaking to you in your own

  503. language, following the grammar, vocabulary, everything.

  504. He will not speak. If you want to say you want to

  505. eat steak next week, you will not say I ate steak next week.

  506. You have to follow the grammar, isn't it?

  507. God follows the grammar, the vocabulary and speaks to you in

  508. your language. That is proportional revelation.

  509. He knows your language. God spoke to me in English.

  510. God spoke to me in Tamil and English together.

  511. God spoke to me in Telugu recently, spoke to me in

  512. Gujarati. That is not my mother tongue,

  513. that is my wife's language. God speaks in the language that

  514. you know. Oh, how does how is God going to

  515. speak to me? How will you speak to you

  516. language that you know? This is amazing.

  517. God, I'm telling you this words proportional revelation is very

  518. important because that's one of the doctrines of the Christian

  519. faith. God speaks using the language

  520. and the grammar of the language that you know.

  521. He speaks to you in the language.

  522. So that is very, very important. And then Moses went up and the

  523. Lord said to him, go down and warn the people.

  524. So this man, 80 plus years of age, going up and down and up

  525. and down the mountain three times, I am glad I am not Moses

  526. because my knees are not strong. Recently when we went to

  527. America, every house had steps to go up.

  528. You either have basement or upstairs and you have to go up

  529. and down. I said give me somewhere in the

  530. middle side, do not have to go up and down because until then I

  531. was going for a walk every day for 5 kilometres and I thought I

  532. was fit, only to realize that when I go to America, my knees

  533. are not strong. I realized it there.

  534. I think God took me there to teach me one lesson.

  535. You have to exercise your knees anyway.

  536. But the point is Moses was strong.

  537. Even at the age of 120 when he had to die, he was strong.

  538. He did not die because of sickness.

  539. He died, did not die because of sickness.

  540. He was physically strong. He said go up the mountain and

  541. you are going to die and I am going to bury in a place no one

  542. will know where you are buried. Why?

  543. Because people will make an idol of it.

  544. They will build something around the tomb and then make it into a

  545. temple and, you know, worship there, offer sacrifice.

  546. No, no, I do not want anybody to do that.

  547. So I am going to bury in a way that nobody will know where you

  548. are buried. So that is how it is.

  549. So verse 24, God, Lord replied, go down and bring Aaron up with

  550. you. So are you God's treasure?

  551. Possession? Yes.

  552. Has he carried you on eagle's wings?

  553. Has he been your healer? Has he done miracles for you?

  554. What more you want? What more do you want?

  555. I'm telling you I have so much of notes here, 3 pages, but I'm

  556. just beginning my message now. The whole question that comes to

  557. is and when God made a covenant with these people, He came down

  558. the mountain and the whole experience is from verse 16 to

  559. verse 19. On the morning of the third day,

  560. there was Thunder and lightning with a thick cloud over the

  561. mountain and a very low trumpet blast.

  562. Who is he? Who is it that is blowing the

  563. trumpet? Not humans?

  564. Is the angels of God blowing the trumpet on the mountain and the

  565. trumpet blast? And then what happened?

  566. Everyone in the camp trembled. Then Moses let the people out of

  567. the camp to meet with God. You are meeting with God.

  568. But Christian experience is all something like this when you

  569. believe in Jesus, this God who is holy, who came on that

  570. mountain and people were afraid when there was a earthquake was

  571. there. But he comes into your life very

  572. silently. That's what John writes in the

  573. in the prologue in chapter one of his gospel, Johns Gospel

  574. chapter 1. The word was in the beating was

  575. the word the word with God. The word was God and the word.

  576. Everything that is great has been created through the Word.

  577. Nothing has been created without the word.

  578. And then he goes on to say the word became flesh and dwelt

  579. among us full of grace and truth.

  580. Now you have on one side this kind of a holy God.

  581. When you look at him, you are afraid of him.

  582. He comes in thick cloud and then fire, low trumpet blast,

  583. earthquake. We need that experience to put

  584. some kind of fear I've got in our heart.

  585. But unfortunately he doesn't do that with us.

  586. He comes very quietly because we are in a New Testament.

  587. He comes quietly into your heart.

  588. He stands at the door of your heart and knocks.

  589. If you hear my voice, open the door.

  590. I want to come in. I want to eat with you and I

  591. want you to eat with me. And we are sometimes keeping him

  592. waiting for five years, 10 years.

  593. Some of us, we don't want to obey him quickly.

  594. He is a holy God. You cannot play with him.

  595. You cannot live in sin and say I am all right, everything is all

  596. right and keep on living in sin is not the answer, is not the

  597. lifestyle that God expects us. If you fear God, first thing to

  598. do is to stop the sin. Come out of it whatever is, it

  599. costs. Sometimes it costs.

  600. It is not that easy to stop sinning.

  601. It costs and we must be willing to pay the cost if you want to

  602. follow him. That is the reason why Jesus

  603. said he who wants to follow me must take up His cross and walk

  604. daily His cross and daily our cross is when we want to do

  605. God's will. And right now we are not doing

  606. God's will. When you want to do God's will,

  607. that becomes your cross, that becomes your cross, and you have

  608. to deny yourself. That flesh will demand things

  609. from you, and you have to say no to the demands of the flesh.

  610. Take up the cross, walk daily with Him.

  611. That is Christian life. But here you see all these

  612. things. You know Yahweh is Jesus.

  613. I have told you so many times, Yahweh is Jesus.

  614. When you look at Yahweh in the chapter 1919, He is a terrible

  615. God, full of fire, holy, and He cannot accept you and He cannot

  616. just overlook your sin. But again, when it comes to the

  617. New Testament, the same God is so full of love, compassion,

  618. mercy, but judgment is in the future.

  619. He does not judge you immediately.

  620. Just because He does not judge you immediately does not mean

  621. you are. You are accepted and everything

  622. is fine when you deal with sin. What needs to be confessed has

  623. to be confessed. What this should be renounced

  624. has to be renounced and get up and walk with him.

  625. That is very, very important. And then today is actually Day

  626. of Pentecost. Many churches are celebrating

  627. Day of Pentecost coming out the Holy Spirit on the on the

  628. church. The church was born this day,

  629. 2000 years ago nearly. I did not want to make that as a

  630. focus because I was deciding. I decided to speak on chapter

  631. 19. But chapter 20 is giving of the

  632. law. That is that coincidence with

  633. the dead Pentecost. So next time I preach, I'll be

  634. preaching on chapter 20. So we'll have Pentecost 2 weeks

  635. late. But that is what it is.

  636. We don't go by calendar. That's the reason why I'm not

  637. focusing on it. But we have to come be expected

  638. that what God wants to do in our life through His Word is very,

  639. very important. We need to give supremacy to the

  640. Word. You have to make the Bible the

  641. ultimate rule book and obey it. Because without obedience, I am

  642. telling you, whether you have Old Testament Christian or a

  643. nutrition Christian, it doesn't matter.

  644. There is no Christian in the Old Testament anyway.

  645. So you are, whether Old Testament St. or a New New

  646. Testament St., you must have obedience because that's what he

  647. said. If you obey me, you will be part

  648. of my covenant. You will be my royal priesthood,

  649. holy nation. And what did Jesus say?

  650. I am the one, you are the branch.

  651. And if you obey me, keep my commandments, you will remain in

  652. me, and I will remain in you. And then you will bear fruit,

  653. much fruit in the glory of the Father.

  654. Take out obedience. Whether you belong to Old

  655. Testament or the New Testament does not matter.

  656. We are outside the will of God. And if you want to be within the

  657. will of God, obedience is very central.

  658. OK, I think we should keep away my notes and we will focus on

  659. prayer. Shall we pray?

  660. Father God, we thank you, we praise you with all our heart,

  661. we praise you, for you are a God who speaks to us in our own

  662. language. We worship you, we praise you,

  663. but you are not Stop speaking. Everybody who seeks you can hear

  664. you. And you spoke from the mountain

  665. to Moses and the whole nation. 2 million people heard your voice.

  666. So I pray now that the outcome of our lives will bring the

  667. testimony of our outcome of our lives will bring glory to your

  668. name. Let people know that we are a

  669. people who hear your voice and do your will and let that

  670. testimony bring glory to your name.

  671. I pray for everyone this morning who is here and those will hear

  672. me on online. I pray that your hand will be

  673. upon them and that you will bless them.

  674. That you will cause up to hear your voice and to know your mind

  675. to do your will and raise up a big generation of people who

  676. will be worshipping you and obeying you to the glory of your

  677. name. Thank you for hearing this

  678. prayer. Bless your children this morning

  679. in Jesus mighty name we ask and everyone says Amen.
