  1. Hey, I'm Pastor Steve Hole.

  2. I want to empower you today to walk in your true identity as a worshiper and warrior.

  3. Today, embrace the power of God's Word and the Holy Spirit.

  4. Welcome to the Born for War podcast.

  5. All right, so Liz and I were on a little break, a little vacation at Sun River Resort in near Bend, Oregon.

  6. And this is kind of one of those bucket list things that Liz and I have had for years because she grew up with a pilot father who had a plane, and so sometimes on their vacations, they would go to these resorts where they had an airstrip, and this is one of them.

  7. So she remembers it from the 70s and always wanted to go back, and we had a joyful time there.

  8. And I just wanted to relax, and she did too, and we were excited about that.

  9. And then it was like the Lord arrested me at night, and I knew that I had to change my entire message that I was planning to give today.

  10. And so there you go.

  11. That's what you do on vacation.

  12. Sometimes as a pastor, as you work on your sermon.

  13. But anyway, I did that, and so I'm gonna do a little series here.

  14. I'm gonna be gone off and on a few weeks here, but the series that I'm gonna do is gonna be continuous, and it's on Kingdom of God health.

  15. Kingdom of God health.

  16. We are a struggling nation in the area of health.

  17. We have become a nation of fear.

  18. I saw this during COVID, how fearful everybody was, even in the church.

  19. The fear of COVID kind of took over the whole nation.

  20. Now, what was exciting at the road is we chose to not be fearful.

  21. We chose to not be fearful.

  22. No one died of COVID.

  23. We didn't mask up, we didn't do the social isolation stuff and all that.

  24. We said, well, you could.

  25. We said, man, you're free to do that, but when you come to the road on Sunday morning, we're not gonna close down.

  26. We closed down for we drank the Kool-Aid for four weeks, and then we did our own research, and Pam Holloway was a big part of that with radical resiliency and so many others, and we realized that actually what they were telling us to do was the opposite of what you needed to do to get better.

  27. And it didn't occur to us at that time, but it occurs to us now that actually the pharmaceutical industry and much of the medical health care needs you to be sick.

  28. The sicker you are, the more money they make.

  29. So over the next few weeks, I'm gonna talk about that.

  30. If you saw Robert F.

  31. Kennedy's speech in which he gave his endorsement to Trump, and if you didn't, you you need to.

  32. You need to watch that speech.

  33. As one who is a big fan of Robert F.

  34. Kennedy Jr., not on every issue, I'm pro-life, he's pro-abortion, there's things that we disagree on.

  35. But in his area of health and children's health, and his website, The Defender, which I've been reading now for three years, really since COVID, I realized this guy's got his handle on something, and uh, and the press will do anything to vilify anyone who comes against big pharma, big tech.

  36. And so that speech is you should listen to it.

  37. It's 48 minutes, I believe.

  38. Listen to the whole speech with your family, and if you have kids or grandchildren, talk about it.

  39. He uncovers so much of the masking that's happening with, especially the Democratic Party and what they've done to try to destroy him.

  40. Just amazing stuff.

  41. All of us that study this stuff, we already knew it, but he said it so profoundly.

  42. I would encourage you to listen to RFK speech.

  43. If you hear him also when he was in Arizona with Trump when he was invited to speak, that was excellent too.

  44. But the best message was before that.

  45. And so I'm gonna tell you about Kingdom Health over the next few weeks because we are the sickest nation in the world.

  46. America is the sickest.

  47. Listen, isn't this amazing?

  48. We're the most prosperous nation in the world, and we're the sickest nation in the world.

  49. Isn't there a little bit of a disconnect on that?

  50. How can we be so prosperous?

  51. How many of you in this room would consider yourself an entrepreneur?

  52. Raise your hand.

  53. I mean, you realize if I asked that question in any nation of the world, maybe two or three hands would go up in a church this size.

  54. But in this case, almost half the church raised their hand.

  55. We're very entrepreneurial, we're radical, we tend to be a people of freedom, and with our freedom, we've used that to create companies and industries that are amazing, and we're the sickest nation in the world.

  56. We are the sickest nation in the world.

  57. With the current men and women on the health panel for the Biden administration, all of them are connected to the pharmaceutical industry.

  58. With the advent of more and more pesticides in our foods to the consumption of processed food, junk food, our diets are literally killing us.

  59. Childhood obesity rates have gone up 300% since the 1970s.

  60. Our vaccine rate has increased from four, required four, to 74.

  61. We were number one in the world in health care in 1986.

  62. And by 2002, we were dead last among industrialized nations, and we stayed last.

  63. Do you realize there are pharmaceutical companies in Europe that have created pharmaceuticals just for America that are banned in Europe?

  64. They wouldn't allow them in Europe, but they're making billions off of us in America because the FDA, the NIH, and our health care is in cahoots with big pharma to make as much money as they can, and you're the ones that are suffering for it.

  65. So I want to talk about Kingdom of God health.

  66. I believe there's a day coming, and we saw, we saw a little bit of the prophetic nature of it during COVID.

  67. Because through Pam Holloway and others, uh, Julie Black and others in our church, we healed over 3,000 people of COVID in El Paso County alone.

  68. Okay?

  69. Using the protocol, using a naturopath protocol that worked just like that.

  70. So we had people in hospitals about to die on a respirator in which we smuggled our protocol in and they got better within 24 hours and released, and the people in the hospital could not believe it.

  71. It came in the form of toothpaste and things like that.

  72. Let me listen to what I'm gonna say.

  73. Listen to what I'm gonna say.

  74. There's a day coming when people will flock to the church to get healed rather than the hospitals.

  75. Because we've got a handle on kingdom of God health.

  76. And it's gotta start here.

  77. And it's my conviction that we be the healthiest church in the United States of America.

  78. If we could be the healthiest church in the United States of America, we'd be the healthiest church in the world.

  79. And so I believe it's beholden upon me and it's the pressure that I feel because of the life that I've lived really since COVID.

  80. I've been blessed with being a hunter and a fisherman, and that was that was all finances, I'll be honest with you.

  81. I hunted and killed a lot of elk and deer because I wanted organic meat for my kids, and it was very inexpensive.

  82. Somehow I had this idea that if you had an elk in the Rocky Mountains, it probably had no hormones injected into it.

  83. I don't know where I figured that out, but somehow I figured that out.

  84. So my kids grew up with organic elk and deer.

  85. And then as time went on, I went, oh, everybody's saying that.

  86. Everybody's saying that's the way we should be eating.

  87. You'll you'll see these caveats in natural path stuff and everything.

  88. They'll say, you know, this is how you should eat diet, and then it'll always at the end I'll have a little asterisk and say, if you're able to get organic elk or venison, that's a that's really good.

  89. But it's so expensive, but I I did it, you know, through hunting, which was expensive too, but um, we don't talk about that.

  90. Okay.

  91. So in 2021, because of the COVID outbreak, I'll call it the COVID scare, because it was not a pandemic, it was a scare created by lots of I don't want to go there.

  92. I'll just talk about it forever.

  93. But anyway, because of that, all right, we did a conference.

  94. If you remember, if you were part of the road back in 2021, we did a health conference.

  95. And about 300 came.

  96. I think about 300, 350 were at that.

  97. And I realized while I was at Sun River that I haven't really talked about this to all of you.

  98. That the stuff that we talked about at the health conference.

  99. Now, Pam had a difference, and Julie and others had different, but my part was on the kingdom of God.

  100. That's what I chose to do it on.

  101. So I've had four, what, three years removed, and I want to put this into five perspectives over the next few weeks.

  102. So maybe five thoughts.

  103. There's about ten, but I'm gonna give you five, and the reason I'm gonna do that is because I'm gonna save some of it for um for later, and I'll explain that in just a moment.

  104. But I was on a hike with a particular individual during wilderness encounter last summer.

  105. We were on a hike together, and this guy has had so many health problems.

  106. And he made this statement, and I've since realized that many have used this statement, but let me throw it up there for you.

  107. A healthy person has a thousand wishes, a sick person only one.

  108. So, so, church, I want you to have a thousand wishes until it's your time to be with Jesus.

  109. Instead of only having one in your whole life and the latter part of your life is one physical health problem after another.

  110. Like my grandparents.

  111. My granddaddy was at a rancher, and my grandmother was a rancher's wife.

  112. And all I remember in their 60s was one problem, one emergency at the hospital after another.

  113. I don't want to live that way, do you?

  114. And so God gives us a thousand wishes if we keep our health.

  115. Now, what I'm about to show you is a diagram I developed.

  116. It's really simple.

  117. It's like, ooh, Steve, developed this diagram.

  118. It's not that.

  119. It's the fact that I think it concisely says what Jesus is saying in the greatest commandment in Scripture.

  120. So if Jesus were here, if we had Dr.

  121. Jesus here, and we said, Dr.

  122. Jesus, what's the cure for all anxiety, all fears, all diseases, all uh viral infections?

  123. I think this is what he would say.

  124. So turn in your Bible to Mark 12.

  125. Turn in your Bible to Mark 12, and I think this is what Jesus would say is the answer to everything.

  126. Wouldn't you like to know the answer to everything?

  127. Okay.

  128. Mark 12.

  129. Look at verse 29.

  130. Look at verse 29.

  131. You don't have to be at the road for more than about three or four months where you don't see me referencing this passage.

  132. I come to it all the time because of our passion of a kingdom of God revolution.

  133. Jesus said, the first of all the commandments is this: hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

  134. The first thing he wants us to understand is that God is one, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  135. So what he's about to say is about oneness.

  136. It's about how to unify your entire being.

  137. It's about unifying your entire being.

  138. He says, and you shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

  139. Okay, this is the first commandment.

  140. But he doesn't end there.

  141. The second is like it, you shall love your neighbors yourself.

  142. Now let me throw up this diagram.

  143. So I think this diagram describes the healthy way to live.

  144. This is the healthiest way to live, is that you are integrated.

  145. Because the beauty, and I want to say this, the beauty of Western medicine and Western science, we've separated these things out.

  146. In other words, you don't you don't necessarily go to a regular practitioner, a regular doctor if you've torn your ACL.

  147. So I I haven't seen a regular doctor in 25 years.

  148. Okay, I haven't seen a regular doctor in 25 years.

  149. And I'm and I think I'm the picture of health.

  150. But I was skiing five years ago.

  151. Uh every time I ski with Ryan, I get injured because I try to keep up with him.

  152. Um, I've got to renew my mind and realize Ryan always wins.

  153. So quit trying to win, okay?

  154. This guy can really ski, all right?

  155. So I was skiing, I was coming down this black diamond.

  156. Actually, I wasn't with Ryan, but I was on the trip with Ryan because he's the anointing to want to ski better comes from him.

  157. But he wasn't actually with me.

  158. But anyway, I tore my ACL.

  159. Go see the go see the orthopedic surgeon.

  160. So we separate things out, you guys.

  161. We separate things out.

  162. Now listen to what I'm gonna say.

  163. Separation can be the key to staying sick.

  164. Separation can be the key to staying sick.

  165. God has made us integrated.

  166. God has caused us to be integrated.

  167. In other words, if we could realize that your headaches don't need Tylenol, but what they actually need is peace in your heart, you could get healed of your headaches.

  168. If we could realize that cancer is often because we don't know how to handle stress, because emotionally we stress out over things that create fear that release adrenals, which we would call cortisol, into your bloodstream that then just rips your immune system apart.

  169. You might change a lifestyle of integration rather than just focusing on that one thing.

  170. Does that make sense?

  171. Okay, it'll make more sense three weeks from now when we've gone through all this because I can't cover it all right now.

  172. But look at the look at the word in the middle of where they all come together.

  173. It's love.

  174. It's love.

  175. It's love for God, it's love for people.

  176. It's letting love override your stress and your anxieties emotionally and mentally and physically, socially and spiritually in our lives.

  177. That's the integration of the kingdom of God.

  178. And so that's why I'm saying it's kingdom of God health.

  179. And we're gonna talk about nutrition, we'll talk about all that stuff, but here's my thesis.

  180. My thesis is this the more you line up your health with the kingdom of God, and what I mean by that is spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially, the more healthy, vibrant, and resilient your life will become.

  181. That God has the answer.

  182. Here's here's here's this is really important.

  183. Listen to this 90% of the ailments you have could be healed by your body if you line up with the kingdom.

  184. I really believe that.

  185. That God has actually built our bodies to heal themselves, and that people are gonna flock to the church someday.

  186. They may flock in October to the church.

  187. Because we don't know what's coming down, man.

  188. And by the way, on September 8th, we're doing a preparatory meeting.

  189. And that's gonna be here in the sanctuary at 5 p.m.

  190. on September 8th, Sunday.

  191. That's our launch day that night at 5 p.m., we're gonna have Mark McWilliams and Glenn Holloway talk about how to prepare if the grid went down.

  192. How to be prepared when the grid goes down.

  193. So instead of reacting, we're gonna be a church that's proactively acting before things happen.

  194. And it's not that difficult.

  195. This is not rocket science.

  196. And so hopefully it'll be helpful to you.

  197. So, listen to what I'm gonna say.

  198. I keep saying listen to what I'm gonna say because I got so many things I want you to listen to what I have to say about.

  199. Okay.

  200. And I'll repeat this in the weeks ahead because it it's it's good stuff.

  201. But we tend to think of let's let's put that diagram back up, the one with the circles.

  202. Okay.

  203. So I don't, so if you see the physical there to the right of love, right?

  204. No, to the left of love when you're looking at it, um, we, when I say immune system, we think physical.

  205. I want you to change your thinking on that, and and go with me on this over the next few weeks, that you have a spiritual immune system, that you have an emotional immune system, that you have a social relational immune system, that the immune system is all in the rubric of love.

  206. God created you for that, and all the science is showing this.

  207. So we could be discouraged about what Big Pharma and these different agencies that are captured by Big Pharma are doing, or we can go into King Supers over the last year and see that the organic food section has quadrupled.

  208. And that you're getting all these new places where you can shop where there's organic food.

  209. Now we can go into the questions of what's organic and how they define organic, but I'm just telling you, the direction among the grassroots is very positive.

  210. Very positive.

  211. So there is an elite group that runs things in in big tech, big pharma, and the military industrial surveillance complex that are doing one thing, but we're smart.

  212. At the robe we are.

  213. I can't speak to other churches, but we're smart here.

  214. Hello?

  215. Nod your head if you're smart.

  216. You're smart, you're smart, and we're getting smarter as the days go by because we're not drinking the Kool-Aid.

  217. Okay, now, your immune system.

  218. Your immune system is a complex network of cells, tissues, organs, and substances that help the body fight infection and other diseases.

  219. The immune system includes white blood cells and organs and tissues of the lymph system, such as the thymus, the spleen, tonsils, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, and bone marrow.

  220. Now I'm gonna say it again, but I want to come more inclusive and say your spiritual immune system, your emotional and social immune system, is also a network of cells, tissues, and organs that because of your bloodstream either releases resistance to disease or makes you susceptible to it.

  221. So, men and women, if you're walking around worried about October, worried about November, worried about the future, you're releasing cortisol into your bloodstream that is ripping your immune system apart, just tearing it up.

  222. You gotta stop that.

  223. I'm gonna try to help.

  224. I'm gonna try to help you do that.

  225. Not just this week, because it's just so brief what we can do.

  226. But by in a few weeks, we'll you'll go, whoa, I'm a new man.

  227. I'm a new woman.

  228. I hope.

  229. Okay, so listen to this.

  230. This is from Dr.

  231. Andrew Weal, research associate in ethnopharmacology at Harvard, and author of Health and Healing.

  232. External material objects never cause disease.

  233. Whoa, that's a radical statement.

  234. External material objects never cause the disease.

  235. But these agents are merely agents looking for susceptible hosts.

  236. We have poor coping skills and deficient social support and high stress, and our bodies become upset, and our resistance is lowered.

  237. An agent of disease then finds fertile ground in which to develop or might act as straw ready for a fire.

  238. So when I was reading that and studying that, and that's a quote I've used for years, I always think of fly paper.

  239. I think of fly paper.

  240. So in Japan, when we lived in Japan, we had fly paper that we put out and it would catch flies and all that stuff.

  241. You put it in your house, and it was just better than going around going all the time.

  242. So we have fly paper.

  243. That's to me the best way to describe it that if you are constantly worried, constantly walking in fear, constantly anxious about things, it's like you're putting out fly paper for pathogens.

  244. You're putting out fly paper wherein pathogens come in and land on you and you get sick.

  245. So let me give you a definition of a pathogen.

  246. So a pathogen or germ doesn't mean something that invariably causes.

  247. A virus or a disease, a pathogen refers to bacteria, germs, or other microorganisms that have the potential.

  248. They have the potential to induce disease.

  249. So you could have someone walk in who's got a strong immune system, and they're around all the flies, all the pathogens, they just don't get sick.

  250. And then you have someone else who comes in, they're walking, their immune system is low, they're eating tons of Wendy's and McDonald's and all kinds of crappy food like that, to use a theological term.

  251. And they come in and they get sick.

  252. So they think, oh, we've got to clean the house, or I've got to wear the mask, or I've got to be aware of pathogens and bacteria and all that.

  253. No.

  254. You need to quit eating all that crappy food and build up your immune system.

  255. Do you see that?

  256. Do you see the difference?

  257. So what society and culture is telling us is it's all the germs, it's all those things, and by the way, those things are important to know about.

  258. I'm not saying run out there and just expose yourself to things, but I am saying this that God made your body to withstand more than you know.

  259. But you got to do it God's way.

  260. So it it's so important that we remember that we have a spiritual immune system, we have a sociological immune system, we have a physical immune system, we have a psychological immune system.

  261. All of that is integrated together to make us who we are.

  262. And so Dr.

  263. Andrew Weil is saying that.

  264. So listen to God's word on health.

  265. Proverbs 3.

  266. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

  267. Lean not on your own understanding.

  268. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path.

  269. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and depart from evil.

  270. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.

  271. Hello?

  272. That's good stuff.

  273. I've never, I've been a Christian for 45 years.

  274. I've never heard anybody teach on the last two verses in relation to the verses that were before it.

  275. In other words, trusting in the Lord with all your heart is what we just read in Mark 12.

  276. Right?

  277. And that he's promising if we'll live this way, if we'll give our future to him, if we'll walk in courage instead of fear, if we won't let anxiety take control of our life, if we'll put Christ on the throne of our life, and we'll let him rule and reign.

  278. That's the kingdom of God, right?

  279. King, dome, king dome, king, dome of God.

  280. It's God reigning over a domain.

  281. So we let we let the kingdom of God rule over our mind, our heart, our soul, our spirit, our relationship with others, it will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.

  282. It's right there.

  283. So I'm writing a book.

  284. It's gonna come out sometime.

  285. I think it's gonna come out this fall, called Breakthrough Courage, Nine Habits to Conquer Fear and Build a Brave Heart.

  286. So a lot of what I'm gonna talk about over the next few weeks is contained in that, but I'm also gonna delve into the book when it does come out.

  287. But here for today, I want to talk about perspectives to kingdom health.

  288. I'm just gonna give you two because of the shortness of time, and we'll go into the others.

  289. I think there's gonna be five.

  290. I've got eight, but I think I'm gonna kind of go after the irreducible minimum.

  291. But here's the first one today.

  292. Health perspective, number one.

  293. Seek the first thing first.

  294. Seek the first thing first.

  295. Make the main thing, make the main thing your first thing.

  296. Jesus said, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

  297. So always thinking of it as like lining up.

  298. So when we seek the kingdom, we seek the king, which is defined as loving God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength, things start to line up in your life.

  299. Young people out there.

  300. Learn early to seek first the kingdom, and things line up.

  301. They line up for you.

  302. Your dating life lines up.

  303. Your sports uh abilities, your athletic abilities, your intellectual abilities line up.

  304. God made you a certain way.

  305. Doesn't it make sense to go to the Creator who made you to know how you're supposed to line up?

  306. Right?

  307. So seeking the kingdom lines things up.

  308. So turn in your Bibles to Matthew 6.

  309. Look at Matthew 6 really quick.

  310. I want you to look at that because this is the greatest speech, the greatest sermon ever given.

  311. And I sound like Trump and say everybody knows that.

  312. Okay?

  313. But those who study it know this.

  314. And it and one of the best things you could do is listen to Robert F.

  315. Kennedy Jr.'s speech that he gave endorsing Trump.

  316. I would say to anybody in this room, that's one of the best speeches of the 21st century.

  317. Because he exposes the corruption in all these different areas of industry within our culture.

  318. Okay?

  319. So the opposite.

  320. So here's here's how we we begin to take that and begin to work this out, and that's in verse 25.

  321. So here's the context of verse 33 of seeking the kingdom.

  322. Look at that.

  323. Do not worry.

  324. Do not worry.

  325. Then look at verse 27.

  326. Which of you, by worrying, can add one cumit to a stature?

  327. Folks, I had an acne problem when I was in high school, and the dermatologist said, You're so worked up about everything.

  328. You're a worry war.

  329. And so can you imagine in 1974, 78?

  330. That's what a dermatologist told me.

  331. You'd get sued if you said that now.

  332. Okay, but he understood, he understood the holistic nature of who you were.

  333. Well, guess what?

  334. I worried, and you know what?

  335. I'm still five foot six.

  336. So if worrying could increase your stature, I should be six foot eight.

  337. So that's what Jesus is saying here.

  338. Look, that's how that's about how valuable your worrying is gonna get you.

  339. Verse 28, why do you worry?

  340. Verse 28, why do you worry?

  341. Look at the end of verse 30.

  342. Oh, you of little faith.

  343. Look at the beginning of verse 31.

  344. Do not worry.

  345. Get it?

  346. That's what he's saying.

  347. Look, don't be anxious, don't be worried.

  348. That makes you sicker.

  349. Seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all the things that you're worried about will line up in a healthy kingdom way.

  350. That's why people are gonna flock to the church in the days ahead because they know healing is here better than any doctor or any hospital.

  351. Because we have the answer, and science is lining up with it, gang.

  352. I mean, you it's just unbelievable.

  353. Some of you study this stuff like I do, and science, neuroplasticity, all the things that we're learning is lining up with the Bible and what the kingdom of God is all about.

  354. And so I'm convinced that the reason I haven't seen a doctor in 25 years is because, and Liz is the same, hers might even be longer, is because we have a purpose for our life.

  355. We have meaning to our life.

  356. We're seeking the kingdom with our life.

  357. So, church, listen, seek the kingdom first.

  358. Get involved in kingdom stuff.

  359. Get involved in loving people, get involved in our in our springs initiative.

  360. We go clean up a house, get involved in a small group, get involved in come early and pray for us.

  361. Just come here early and and pray for this the service.

  362. Um, come to Noonday Fire.

  363. I mean so many things.

  364. Go to the women's study on the mysteries of the kingdom and the parables.

  365. You'll get healthier, you'll feel better.

  366. It's a good thing.

  367. I I I um you guys know this story.

  368. I've told it a few times, but uh some things I do are really stupid.

  369. Okay?

  370. And I was with a chainsaw I had a chainsaw and I was chainsawing a tree, and I and the tree fell on my head.

  371. Now you say, how how did that happen?

  372. It's a long story.

  373. Okay.

  374. Let's just say there was some there was some toxic thinking that went into it because I wasn't even wearing a helmet and it knocked me to the ground.

  375. And immediately, over the next five minutes, I started feeling nausea, and I knew that was a that's the signs of a concussion, right?

  376. You start feeling nauseated.

  377. And I rebuked it.

  378. I said, I'm not gonna get nauseated.

  379. I am not gonna get nauseated, and I'm not gonna have a brain concussion.

  380. Heal my head in the name of Jesus.

  381. And when I put my hand up, my head was just full of blood.

  382. Blood just all over my hand.

  383. And then I went back up and it was all healed up.

  384. Now, what's that about?

  385. Okay, that's my second point.

  386. I probably need to next time cover it more because we're running out of time.

  387. Health perspective number two, new thoughts, new life.

  388. Health perspective number two is new thoughts, new life.

  389. Romans 12.

  390. Do not conform, that means copy.

  391. In the Greek, it means to copy the pattern of this world, but be transformed.

  392. That's the word metamorphoo, where we get the word metamorphosis, which means a complete change.

  393. Completely change your life by the renewing of your mind, by the renewing of your thoughts.

  394. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

  395. So, church, that's what we're doing right now.

  396. I'm trying to renew your mind.

  397. I'm trying to encourage your thinking.

  398. I'm trying to give you new ways of looking at health, new ways of looking at sickness.

  399. Because if you conform, which most of us have done, me too, if we conform to this world, we run to the doctor for everything.

  400. Okay?

  401. I'm not saying anything about not going to the doctor.

  402. I'm just saying there's bigger issues here than just the physical.

  403. That there's a melding together of all of this.

  404. Okay?

  405. Your body can create antibodies which can fight any disease if you'll stay healthy.

  406. Okay?

  407. So, like for me, I woke, Liz and I hardly ever eat out, and when we eat out, we go to good restaurant.

  408. So I'm not talking about going to Chick-fil-A or something, and I know that's blasphemy, right?

  409. For me to say anything negative on Chick-fil-A.

  410. But Chick-fil-A is like the worst.

  411. But um, but we'll eat out at a good restaurant, and twice in the last six weeks or so, I wake up and I've got vertigo.

  412. Why?

  413. Because the seed oils that are used in the food that we ate out at.

  414. I'm sure of that.

  415. And so I have to lay down for another hour and get my equilibrium, and then I'm fine.

  416. They're poisoning us.

  417. You guys, America is being poisoned to death.

  418. And again, I'll talk more about that in a second, but here's where it begins.

  419. You've got to have new thinking.

  420. The hardest thing to do is not to get people to quit sleeping around.

  421. The hardest thing in the world is not to get people, stop porn.

  422. The hardest thing to get people to do is think.

  423. Think.

  424. That's what I'm challenging you to do.

  425. Think.

  426. Use your brain because your mind is the most powerful computer in the universe.

  427. So, up until 30 years ago, the belief was that if you had a stroke, cardiovascular event, PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, or traumatic brain injury, or even aging, brain damage was irreversible.

  428. But Dr.

  429. Paul here is saying that if you renew your mind, you can be transformed.

  430. That it's not only not irreversible, but that you can actually change your life by the thoughts you think.

  431. And neuroscience is backing that up over the last 30 years.

  432. Neuroplasticity means that the brain is malleable and adaptable and changing every day based on your thoughts.

  433. In other words, the brain has renewable characteristics and be changed by the way you think.

  434. Isn't that amazing?

  435. Everybody say miracle.

  436. The miracle is your thoughts.

  437. Say the miracle is my thoughts.

  438. It is.

  439. Or are my thoughts.

  440. Is my thoughts.

  441. Is my thinking.

  442. So Dr.

  443. Moses says this I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing.

  444. Therefore, choose life that both you and your descendants may live.

  445. So, church, we have a choice every day as to how we think.

  446. And one route leads to life, health, joy, passion, vision.

  447. The other leads to death, despair, anxiety, chronic disease.

  448. And I want to challenge this over the next few weeks that we can renew our minds.

  449. That you can be all that God meant you to be, with the talents, skills, and gifts that have been given to you, but you gotta want it.

  450. You gotta desire it.

  451. You gotta choose every day.

  452. I'm gonna love God with all of my heart, soul, mind, strength.

  453. My neighbor is myself.

  454. I'm gonna walk in the kingdom way, and God's gonna line up healing.

  455. We'll talk about nutrition, we'll talk about exercise, all that stuff's coming.

  456. But let me close with this.

  457. Good thoughts equal good choices, which leads to healthy living.

  458. Toxic thoughts equals toxic choices, which leads to toxic living.

  459. Thank you for listening to the Forn for War podcast.
