  1. Hello everyone, I'm Dr.

  2. Steve Bolt.

  3. I want to welcome you to the Road Church Podcast.

  4. Each week we go into God's Word.

  5. We teach chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

  6. We are here to build the Kingdom of God revolution through empowering people to change the world.

  7. So we pray this will minister to you at your heart level and change your life.

  8. Hey, I changed my message yesterday.

  9. So I had a set message in Joshua, but uh because of an experience I had up in Victor, Colorado a week and a half ago at my son's ranch up there, where God came in a very profound way and spoke to me for our church and for the state of Colorado.

  10. I shared it with the all-staff meeting, which was uh last Tuesday.

  11. I shared it to the men at Wholehearted Men on Tuesday morning, but I felt like I would be remiss if I didn't share it with you guys.

  12. And um, so this is different.

  13. It's gonna be a very different message, and and I want to give a caveat to what I'm gonna share.

  14. This was not the audible voice of God, like on some level of scripture or something.

  15. I think God can speak to us, and most of the time, he speaks to us with an impression.

  16. And in my case, of 40 years of walking with God, I've had times where I'm alone, usually, uh, in nature most of the time.

  17. In this case, I was I was uh outside on a kind of cloudy day when the Spirit came.

  18. But the Spirit will come and I'll get a download.

  19. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

  20. Where you kind of get a download from the Lord.

  21. If you've never experienced that, listen up because you're missing out on hearing from God in some new and special and powerful ways.

  22. And it's always lining up with scripture.

  23. If it doesn't line up with scripture, then toss it out.

  24. It's not it's not from the Lord.

  25. If you hear, well, the Lord told me to to um to beat my wife, um, that's from demons, okay?

  26. So you gotta understand and discern the different voices, but I've learned to know God's voice.

  27. So this is an example of that.

  28. I didn't have an audible voice of the Lord.

  29. I know people who have experienced that.

  30. I've never had that happen.

  31. But it was on that, maybe a couple clicks below that level where I just sensed God needs to get my attention about something.

  32. And here's what's interesting is that at our Christmas party last December, our pastor's Christmas party, Courtney Wallace came up to me and said, I feel like I have a word for you for the new year.

  33. And she said, Remember that part in National Treasure where they got those uh bifocals?

  34. And that you, with those bifocals, you flipped them, and then you could see that hidden message that was on the back of the Declaration of Independence.

  35. She said, God's gonna give you spiritual bifocals to see stuff that you've never seen before.

  36. And then Ryan Steyr, Pastor Ryan Steyer, gave me this word at the same party, vintage.

  37. He said, I keep getting the word vintage for you.

  38. And uh, vintage, I looked it up.

  39. So here's a couple definitions for vintage.

  40. The year or place in which wine, especially wine of high quality, is produced.

  41. So there's, you know, it was a vintage year, meaning it was a very, very good year for wine.

  42. It also means a period of origin or manufacture.

  43. So, in both cases, I felt like God was saying in 2025, God's gonna do something different, something new.

  44. I'm gonna be able to see it and discern it, but that also it's a return to something.

  45. It's a vintage.

  46. It's a return to maybe it's vintage church.

  47. Maybe it's vintage discipleship.

  48. I I don't know.

  49. I'm still figuring out that.

  50. Then I go up to take a day with the Lord up in Victor, Colorado, and God downloads some things to me through some pictures that he shows me.

  51. So the first thing is I sat down and made a fire because it was kind of cold, and I made this fire and a fire pit, and I'm looking out, and my eyes just lock in on this.

  52. Now, that old barn was probably built a hundred years ago on this property, and it's just dilapidated and falling apart, and that's only part of it.

  53. There's actually another part to it, also.

  54. In my spirit, I mean, here's the mountains.

  55. You're gonna see the mountains in a moment.

  56. You'd think that's where I would gravitate to.

  57. No, when I sat down with my Bible open in Jeremiah, which we're gonna look at that passage, when I opened it up, it was like I locked in on that broken down barn, and in my spirit, this is what I heard.

  58. This is the state of Colorado.

  59. This is the state of my church.

  60. It was really convicting you guys.

  61. I'm a pastor, okay?

  62. I'm a professional Christian, right?

  63. And um, and I hear that, and it's like, oh, my heart just breaks.

  64. Definitely.

  65. It's the state of Colorado, and definitely it's the state of the church in America, but even in the state of Colorado.

  66. Now I'm not pointing fingers at anybody.

  67. I believe God's about to do some new stuff at the road.

  68. There's some changes we need to make here.

  69. So we're gonna pray today.

  70. There's two bills right now in the legislature, which is amazing that I was asked to pray on Friday at the House of Representatives to do the opening prayer when they're voting on the two most controversial bills ever in the state of Colorado.

  71. They had such a vibrant debate on Friday that the Democrats made them come back on Sunday, which is sort of like penalize them.

  72. Penalize them?

  73. That's like the perfect time to vote.

  74. Because we're gonna pray, we're gonna pray for God to move in a mighty way through these bills.

  75. Now, there's a how many have ever heard of the poet W.B.

  76. Yeats?

  77. Anyone heard of Yeats?

  78. Okay, not many of you.

  79. Um, the second coming is his most famous poem.

  80. I want to read the first stanza as it relates to the to the barn.

  81. This is the state of Colorado, this is the state of my church.

  82. This has nothing to do with the church or anything, but listen to what he says.

  83. And I don't I don't have it up there.

  84. Just listen, I'll read really slowly.

  85. Turning and turning in the widening gyre, the falcon cannot hear the falconer.

  86. Things fall apart, the center cannot hold.

  87. Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world.

  88. Sound familiar with what's happening?

  89. The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony of innocence is drowned.

  90. To me, I first thing I thought of when I was reading this was human trafficking.

  91. But listen to the last two sentences of the first stanza.

  92. The best, the best lack all conviction.

  93. Another way to say it is the best of us lack all conviction while the worst among us are full of passionate intensity.

  94. That was so convicting to me that the best people do nothing while the worst people are intent on changing culture and killing our kids and mutilating their bodies.

  95. So I saw that, and then I looked down, and this is what I saw as I looked down.

  96. That's my fire pit.

  97. And again, I heard in my spirit, and I wrote this down in my journal from God light a fire, rebuild the ancient ruins, build and rebuild my church, build and rebuild the state of Colorado, light the fire of my spirit, build, rebuild my people.

  98. They long for vision, they long for leadership, they long for mission, and they long for purpose.

  99. Man, it's like, what have I signed up for?

  100. It got me fired up.

  101. And by the way, I don't know what a lot of this actually means.

  102. I'm just declaring it, and we'll see where it goes.

  103. Then I looked up, I went over, I took a little walk, and I went over to the other side of the property, it's 40 acres, and I saw this.

  104. And the Lord spoke in my spirit: look to the mountains, my beautiful mountains.

  105. I've made Colorado to be the highest state in contiguous America.

  106. The mountains are mine.

  107. Reclaim the mountains, the majestic beauty.

  108. I want to make Colorado a place of prosperity, a place for my dominion.

  109. As the rivers flow down upon the east and the west, so shall the kingdom of God flow down across America.

  110. And I've always felt this way, you guys, ever since I came to Colorado in 1994, I've always felt that what God would do someday in Colorado with the kingdom would flow down to the rest of America.

  111. And I don't think I'm overstating my case to say that the enemy has been after this state for quite a while.

  112. And these three billionaires that came together and stole elections over the last few election cycles, and I don't mean they stole it like they did it illegal, but I mean they stole it in the sense that they just poured so much money into it that people were, I think, deceived.

  113. So it was interesting, and you'll see it, because I'm gonna show you the video, but when I, and you won't, well, no, you won't see this part, you'll see the prayer.

  114. But when I got up to pray at the house, they they announced me, I came up, on my right is the Republican side, and on the left is the Democrat side.

  115. So I was looking for this, I was super curious.

  116. So I come up, I presented my book to the Speaker of the House, McCluskey, as a gift, and then I began to pray, and I'm focused on what I'm praying, but I looked up a few times because I just was curious.

  117. I would say at least half of the Democrats weren't even in the room.

  118. They were in the room when I was getting up, but it seems like, and I heard I found out later it was true, it's their custom whenever a pastor gives, and it's okay if you're a Wiccan, but if you're a pastor getting up, they exit.

  119. And when they heard my prayer, I'm sure they felt good that they exited.

  120. Because they could probably hear it in the lobby.

  121. But here's the parts it's a kicker.

  122. They didn't even come in for the Pledge of Allegiance.

  123. We're talking about some dark forces here, gang.

  124. So you remember the story.

  125. I think we I shared it before, but I'm gonna I want to share it again, and that is that Pastor Al McLaughlin, one of our pastors, Pastor Josh, who's leading worship up here, and Scott Powell, who's seated right here, they got in a car, set the odometer, and drove to the four geographic locations of our state to pray for a move of God in our state.

  126. That God would come in kingdom power upon our state.

  127. Drove back into the driveway right where they left, looked at the odometer, and this is what they saw 2025.0.

  128. Y'all know the address of our church?

  129. Here it is.

  130. 2025 Parliament Drive.

  131. Now I'm gonna give you a little Greek lesson.

  132. When Jesus said, I will build my church, he chose the word ecclesia.

  133. Ecclesia.

  134. Aristotle gave us that word.

  135. Excuse me, Socrates and Aristotle, I'm not sure which one, but together they gave us that Greek word, ekklesia.

  136. It means an assembly, it means a parliament, it means it's a political word, it's not a religious word, it's a political word.

  137. I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail, or the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

  138. I give you the keys of the kingdom.

  139. What you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

  140. I mean, incredible mandate of kingdom authority and power given to the church.

  141. Guess where the church is?

  142. It's not this building.

  143. It's you.

  144. You're the church.

  145. And we always say the great commission is Matthew 28, 18 through 20.

  146. Go therefore, make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  147. That's called the Great Commission.

  148. That's the second great commission.

  149. The first great commission is Genesis 1, 26 through 29, where when God created man and woman, he said, have dominion.

  150. So what that means, church, is that every time you go to work, every time you parent your kids, every time you pay your bills, every time you have a relationship with someone, you're a dominion taker.

  151. You have kingdom authority to come in with confidence.

  152. Demons working through what did he say?

  153. The passionate intensity of the worst people are taking over.

  154. Unless we as a church begin to believe that we have power and authority as kingdom people.

  155. It means we love those people, we love everybody.

  156. Whatever their persuasion or back, they don't know what they're doing.

  157. They need Jesus, right?

  158. You guys, if I didn't know Jesus, I'd be I'd be pro-abortion.

  159. If I didn't know Jesus, I don't know if you know the trafficking of kids would bother me all that much.

  160. But I know Jesus.

  161. So it changes my convictions.

  162. So the ultimate and most important kingdom revolution is bring people to Jesus and disciple them, right?

  163. So then after that, I wrote this from God.

  164. This is the year, 2025 on the odometer.

  165. 2025 Parliament Drive is the church address.

  166. So it begins this year.

  167. New beginnings, a new way to pray, a new way to worship.

  168. Go out and take it.

  169. And then he led me to Jeremiah 33.

  170. So would you guys turn to Jeremiah 33?

  171. Jeremiah 33 is really powerful because Jeremiah is in prison.

  172. It's like the worst of conditions.

  173. He's in prison.

  174. He's not very popular with the ruling class in Israel because he keeps saying, you're going to lose.

  175. Remember what I prophesied three weeks ago?

  176. First of April, the market's going to go down.

  177. I told you that.

  178. And then we had a special meeting.

  179. I don't know how many of you guys came to the prayer meeting on that Sunday night, but I explained every detail of even how I've done my finances to be prepared for it.

  180. I think there were 265 people at that meeting out of 12, 1,400, 2,000, whatever you want to call it, whatever size we are.

  181. So a lot of you didn't hear that.

  182. But you saw almost a 10% drop in the last two days.

  183. And Monday it's going to drop more.

  184. It's going to continue to drop.

  185. Because God's humbling America.

  186. Because He wants to bring a revolution.

  187. And for those that have ears to hear, you'll know what to do.

  188. You have to have ears to hear and eyes to see.

  189. Everybody look at me.

  190. Church, as usual, ain't gonna cut it.

  191. Comfortable Christianity is about to get very, very uncomfortable.

  192. Join the revolution.

  193. Join the team.

  194. It's the funnest thing to do, is when you know you're walking with a mandate of the kingdom of God and we take dominion.

  195. So here's what he says.

  196. Everybody knows, who's been a Christian more than a few years, has probably heard of 33.3.

  197. It's called the phone number of God.

  198. But he gave me some more to it than that.

  199. So, moreover, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, second Tam, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, Thus saith the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it.

  200. The Lord is his name.

  201. Verse 3.

  202. This is the when I was a young believer, we saw the telephone number of God.

  203. Call to me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

  204. Now, listen, everybody, this is really important.

  205. One of the reasons we pray is not just to get things done in the kingdom or to advance God's kingdom on earth through the things we're praying about, but it's also when you're praying, you start getting great and mighty thoughts, great and mighty ideas which you do not know.

  206. That's what it says.

  207. And I've found this to be so true over the 40 years I walked with God.

  208. Is that I'll be praying about something and I'll get this download from the Holy Spirit about something.

  209. And that's what happened in this thing up in Victor is I just was sitting there making the fire.

  210. It was kind of chilly, and I'm making the fire.

  211. God, would you speak to me while I'm up here?

  212. Lord, would you show me what's on your heart for my life or for the road?

  213. I don't even think I said this date of color, I wasn't even thinking about that.

  214. I just made it, I got the fire going, and then bam, things started happening.

  215. You see, he says, if you will call out to him, he'll answer you, but then there's a little, there's this little caveat, and I will show you great and mighty things which you did not know when you started.

  216. Isn't that cool?

  217. So if you have a business, if you have a family, if you're in relationships, there's always stuff that you don't know that you need to know.

  218. And I see people all the time, including me, who get blindsided because we weren't praying enough.

  219. And so then people will come and tell me stuff who pray more than me, and they go, be careful of this.

  220. Be careful of that.

  221. What?

  222. I don't know, man.

  223. I don't got it.

  224. I don't have a good feeling about this.

  225. My wife is the sergeant at arms for Steve Holt.

  226. So she is my lieutenant.

  227. And when she gets a thought about someone, she tells me, she has saved my bacon so many times.

  228. Okay, so then let's read on.

  229. Verse 4.

  230. For thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been pulled down.

  231. Okay, I'm reading this after I saw the barn.

  232. And who knows?

  233. That might have, I don't even know what it was.

  234. It might have been a house back in the day.

  235. Against the siege mounds and the sword, they come to fight with the Chaldeans, but only to fill their places with the dead bodies of the men whom I will slay in my anger and my fury, all for whose wickedness I have hidden my face from this city.

  236. That's the state of Colorado.

  237. That's the state of the church right now.

  238. I mean, I don't want to go into the details, but over the last five to ten years, the amount of controversy with pastors who've done hideous sins and are involved in stuff is just, it's embarrassing.

  239. It's humiliating.

  240. The church is not in a good place, gang.

  241. It's not in a good state.

  242. And the state of Colorado is being overrun by demon powers.

  243. But look at this.

  244. This is what I love.

  245. So here's the here's the it's a bleak situation for Israel.

  246. It's a bleak situation for us right now, if we look out.

  247. The bleak situation right now, up in the house.

  248. We've got, I don't know, we have like three or five representatives that go to this church, and they can't be, they're the ones who are telling me about it.

  249. So they're all up there battling.

  250. And look what look what.

  251. God says.

  252. This gets me pumped up.

  253. This is what God says.

  254. Verse 6.

  255. Behold, I will bring it health and healing.

  256. I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

  257. That's God's will.

  258. That was God's will for Israel.

  259. They never realized it.

  260. Remember, we were talking about in Joshua that that territory that was going to be 300,000 square miles.

  261. Even to this day, Israel hasn't taken the land that God promised them.

  262. How much of this state and how much of our own lives are we missing because we can't believe God can bring you health, He can bring you healing, He can bring you peace, and He can bring you truth.

  263. That's pretty cool.

  264. Man, that's so, oh man, that's so exciting.

  265. That's what God wants to do in Colorado.

  266. He wants us to be the healthiest state in America.

  267. Let's be the healthiest state in America.

  268. We can be.

  269. Colorado Springs, Springs, Manitou Springs, Glenwood Springs, Princeton Hot Springs.

  270. People came from all over the world in the late 1800s and turn of the century in the 1900s because of our springs.

  271. Because it was our springs that helped heal tuberculosis.

  272. It was our springs that helped heal lung disease.

  273. I mean, they knew more about health then than we do now.

  274. Now we just drug you up.

  275. Just here's another drug, here's another drug.

  276. Drugs, drugs, drugs.

  277. But they believed in the steam and the heat and all.

  278. And if you go down to Manitou Springs, that main part where they still have that well, where the stream comes, they tell you all the um all the supplements, quite frankly, that are in that water that you drink, that carbonated water.

  279. So Colorado initially was a place of health and healing.

  280. Look at verse 7.

  281. And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and I will rebuild those places as at the first.

  282. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against me.

  283. And I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against me.

  284. Isn't that amazing that God is so present and he's so powerful and he's so loving and he's so kind that this rebellious nation, he's promising them, I'll heal you.

  285. But you gotta come back to me.

  286. You gotta repent, man.

  287. If you repent, I'll restore.

  288. If you repent, I'll rebuild.

  289. Man, I've had to repent of so many things over the years.

  290. We need almost you need a lifestyle of repentance, right?

  291. Because you we all tend to go astray, don't we?

  292. And yet, God doesn't count our transgressions against us, but he always is willing to restore us.

  293. He just wants you to prosper.

  294. He just wants you to prosper.

  295. You know it's healthy to live a moral life, it's healthy to not lie.

  296. It's healthy to not look at porn.

  297. It's healthy to not be addicted to drugs and alcohol.

  298. It's just healthy.

  299. That's the kingdom way, right?

  300. I don't care whether you're Christian or non-Christian.

  301. I say this to folks that I meet, and if we get into conversation or something, I just say to them something like, Are you living healthy these days?

  302. And they go, I'm sick all the time.

  303. And I went, You're not living healthy then?

  304. Right.

  305. I said, What do you think the problem is?

  306. And they tell me and stuff, and then I say, You need the kingdom way.

  307. They go, What?

  308. You need the kingdom of God way.

  309. And what's cool about the term kingdom of God is they can't tell where you're coming from.

  310. It's almost Buddhistic.

  311. You know, like what kingdom of God.

  312. I mean, you say Jesus and it's like, uh.

  313. Or you say Christian, uh.

  314. Especially if you say pastor.

  315. I say, no, you need the kingdom of God way.

  316. Because the kingdom of God's way is the healthiest, most vibrant, most dynamic, most prosperous way to live.

  317. And they go, tell me more, tell me more.

  318. Like out of Greece, tell me more.

  319. All right.

  320. But look at what he says next in verse 9.

  321. It's really exciting.

  322. Then it shall be to me a name of joy, praise, and honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I'm doing in Colorado.

  323. They shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for the church and for the state of Colorado.

  324. Thus says the Lord, again, there shall be heard in this place of which you say it is desolate, without man and without beast.

  325. In the cities of Judah, in the cities of Colorado, in the streets of Denver and Colorado Springs that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant, without beast, the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, and the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say, Praise the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good.

  326. Verse mercy endures forever.

  327. And of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord, for I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first, says the Lord.

  328. Kingdom of God revolution, flowing through the church, flowing out to the whole community, blessing the city, blessing the counties, blessing the mountains.

  329. A work of God of praise and worship.

  330. That's a revolution, church.

  331. So you have a revival.

  332. Revival, you cast out a demon.

  333. A revolution, you cast out a principality and a power over institutions.

  334. It changes everything.

  335. That's why we're here.

  336. And 2025 is when God wants to start it.

  337. Look, I'm from Georgia.

  338. I'm not very smart, but I can figure out an odometer reading and an address that I never thought of before.

  339. I never thought about it.

  340. I never thought about 2025 Parliament Drive.

  341. And I never thought of Parliament and Ecclesia until God showed it to me.

  342. This is better than the NCAA final two on Monday.

  343. Duke got beat.

  344. My dad's alma mater.

  345. So I don't care who wins on Monday.

  346. And I didn't even care enough to stay up and watch the game last night because I wanted to be fired up for you guys.

  347. So I went to bed at 8:30.

  348. And I said, Oh, they dominated the first half, they'll win the second half.

  349. I told Liz, this is how I know if we won or loss.

  350. She goes, What?

  351. I said, you pick up my phone and I see if there's any text from my dad or my brother.

  352. I look at it, none.

  353. They lost.

  354. Because they'll go crazy.

  355. Oh, this was the coolest play, and this was the coolest part.

  356. If you don't get anything, then it's like, oh, everybody went to bed.

  357. Everybody's depressed now today.

  358. I'm not depressed.

  359. This is way better than basketball.

  360. This is way better than Dion Sanders and CU.

  361. Believe it or not.

  362. Verse 12 Thus says the Lord, in this place which is desolate, without man and without beast, and all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds, causing their flocks to lie down in the cities of the mountains, and the cities of the lowland, and the cities of the south, and the land of Benjamin, and the places around Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, flocks shall again pass under the hands of him who counts them.

  363. Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will perform these good things which I have promised to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

  364. In those days, and at that time I will cause to grow up to David a branch of righteousness.

  365. He shall execute judgment and righteousness on the earth.

  366. In those days, Judah will be saved, Jerusalem will dwell safely, and this is the name by which she will be called the Lord our righteousness.

  367. Now he's speaking of the coming of the Lord here.

  368. He's talking about Messiah coming.

  369. And but he's speaking to us too that the Messiah has come.

  370. We have Easter coming up.

  371. We have Good Friday.

  372. He has come and now he lives within his body.

  373. We're called the body of Christ.

  374. So we are Jesus bringing righteousness to our city.
