  1. In you, Christ Jesus, you alone, I look to imitating your ways.

  2. In all my ways. I'll follow you and I must move.

  3. You, Christ Jesus, you are all I look to, imitating your hands in

  4. all my ways. I'll follow you and I will

  5. smooth what's an example I have Christ Jesus, I love you rely on

  6. your Lord depend on look to you my own at.

  7. Times the circumstances of life, what we go through makes us

  8. forget about the fact that we are children of God and we do

  9. our friends as if we live on our own.

  10. This morning the Lord is reminding us of the need of the

  11. importance for us to live as a responsible children of God.

  12. I want you to open your mouth and speak to God this morning.

  13. How responsible are you, Jesus, as a child of God?

  14. How responsible am I as a child of God?

  15. Is the challenges of life taking me away?

  16. Are the challenges of life making me forget about the fact

  17. that I have been purchased by the blood of Christ?

  18. How responsible am I? How responsible are you?

  19. Open your mouth and speak to God.

  20. This Lord Almighty, pray converting myself in the name of

  21. Jesus. Oh Lord of this morning we come

  22. before your process one more time.

  23. Save me from eternal condemnation.

  24. We are today for living the life.

  25. Therefore, Lord, they are responding as Your word has come

  26. unto us. We are all marked to the

  27. responsibilities Lord for it is holy is you.

  28. I was Speaking of life Lord Almighty.

  29. I was responsible Lord to carry out for it is only in you that

  30. we can have redemption of Jesus. I pray therefore this morning we

  31. return back unto you Jesus and we pray that I will be able to

  32. overcome that your grace, I'll be able to Lord will abound this

  33. man responsibility. Spirit divide by each terrified

  34. till the end used to your Jesus. As we see there is the light the

  35. war on nature revive to till again until all Jesus be seen.

  36. Let's death beauty of Jesus we see in me what draws compassion

  37. with you reasoning. Oh not spirit divide.

  38. I need terrified to death beauty.

  39. Of Jesus we see. Shall we happily receive our

  40. sins? Oh da.

  41. Spear in the. Just as we are, O Lord, your

  42. presence, we have come. We pray in the name of Jesus

  43. that your grace will abound for us this morning in Jesus mighty

  44. name, Amen. Praise the Lord.

  45. We want to thank God for the gift of life and I want to

  46. specially welcome each and everyone of you.

  47. In fact, greet your neighbor and tell him or her you are welcome,

  48. you are welcome. God richly bless you.

  49. I also specially want to thank God for the life of our brother

  50. Joshua. Joshua Tremen.

  51. Joshua, be on your feet. He's been away for some time

  52. now, and he's back. Shall we welcome him?

  53. We shall. God richly bless you.

  54. Amen. Yeah.

  55. If you don't understand why I welcome Joshua when you close,

  56. come and see me. But it's very important as a

  57. member of God's church and as a child of God, whenever you

  58. belong to the Church of God or the family of God, you must

  59. always make yourself relevant. I mean, I said as a child of

  60. God, you must always make yourself relevant.

  61. If I look at the ones he said beside you and tell him or him,

  62. make yourself relevant. Amen.

  63. One thing you should understand is that when you come to church,

  64. God speaks to us through numerous ways.

  65. There are some of us, we are in the church, but we are not

  66. relevant. Even if you don't come, no one

  67. knows you didn't come. And even if you come, and even

  68. if you come, praise the Lord. But this morning I want to

  69. encourage someone as a child of God, make yourself relevant, but

  70. you only be relevant when you allow the Spirit of God to lead

  71. you. Amen.

  72. Amen. Even if you are not happy with

  73. me, so long as I am preaching the word of God, I am OK.

  74. I'm not here to please anyone, but please, brothers and sisters

  75. in Christ, God has purchased us through the blood of Jesus

  76. Christ. And so now that we have become

  77. people of God, children of God, we all, not ourselves again, we

  78. have become the people of God. We have become the people of

  79. God, which stands for the church.

  80. And so as a people of God, what it means is that you are an

  81. ambassador of God. And as an ambassador, whenever

  82. you are sent to go and represent your government, wherever you

  83. go, you stand for the interest of your government.

  84. Praise the Lord. So when you go anywhere and you

  85. become irrelevant, what it means is that you have totally failed.

  86. Praise the Lord. So this morning, I pray that God

  87. will give us the grace, the ability to be relevant wherever

  88. we go, wherever we find ourselves, even in our homes, in

  89. our churches, in our various workplaces, and in every

  90. institution we find ourselves. Amen.

  91. I want to speak on the theme of the year.

  92. Unleash to live a life worthy of your calling.

  93. Unleashed to live a life worthy of your calling.

  94. When you read a book of Genesis which talks about creation after

  95. God has created everything and then he decided to create man in

  96. his own image and in his own. Like the Bible is saying that

  97. God created Adam and then God created Eve to God created Eve

  98. to come and support Adam. And so when you read Bible is

  99. saying that after God has created man, God handed over

  100. creation unto man. And after God had handed

  101. creation unto man, God has man to take care of his creation.

  102. So what it means is that God gave man the ability, the power

  103. in other ways. Man became the ambassador of

  104. God. Man was to stand in for God and

  105. take care of his creation. But one thing we need to take

  106. notice that when God handed over His creation unto man, God gave

  107. instructions unto man. So what it means is that as an

  108. ambassador you cannot work or you cannot do things on your

  109. own. You work with instructions,

  110. praise the Lord. And the Bible is saying that God

  111. instructed man to not touch the tree which was in the middle of

  112. the garden, aside that man was giving them free will to touch

  113. and to enjoy any other thing. So yeah, one of the things we

  114. can see is that God gave man his will, praise the Lord.

  115. So what it means that whenever you become an ambassador of God,

  116. whenever you become a representative of God, even

  117. though you are working with instructions, you also have your

  118. own will, praise the Lord, and it is your own will that leads

  119. you on the kind of choices you make you.

  120. You may choose to abide by the instructions attached to your

  121. calling, or you can also choose to leave contrary to the

  122. instructions. And you could see that any

  123. person who always works with the instruction attached to his

  124. calling at the end of the day is promoted.

  125. Praise the Lord. As our Bible is saying that when

  126. God gave man his free will, man decided to go contrary to the

  127. will of God in other ways. Man decided to choose to eat of

  128. the forbidding tree, and the Bible is saying that as a result

  129. of that, man fell. As a result of that, man died.

  130. Amen. So one of the lessons we can

  131. learn here is that every choice man makes, every choice man

  132. makes has its own consequences. Every choice man makes has its

  133. own consequences. Every choice you make, every

  134. choice I make, has its own consequences.

  135. If it is true, then it means that every choice man makes is

  136. very, very important, praise the Lord.

  137. And as a result of the choice of Adam and Eve, the Bible is

  138. saying that one of the consequences that has come or

  139. that it has brought on to us is eternal condemnation, death.

  140. That's why you read a New Testament which says that for

  141. all have seen. What did I see?

  142. That is the consequence of a choice that was made by man.

  143. Praise the Lord. That is the power of choice.

  144. So the kind of choice man makes may not maybe end up on you, but

  145. it may even go after generations to come.

  146. If it is so, then as people of God, as children of God, we need

  147. to be very mindful of the kind of choices we make.

  148. Amen. Amen.

  149. Choices has its own consequences.

  150. What it also means is that the kind of choice man makes may

  151. bring him life, and it can also bring him death.

  152. The kind of choice man makes may bring you life or death.

  153. Amen. I'm reading from Deuteronomy

    Deuteronomy 30:15–20

  154. chapter 30 verse 15 to 20. Deuteronomy chapter 30, verse 15

    Deuteronomy 30:15–20

  155. to 20. See, I said before you today,

  156. life and prosperity, death and destruction.

  157. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to work in

  158. obedience to him and to keep his commands decrease and loss.

  159. Then you will leave an increase and the Lord your God will bless

  160. you in the land you are entering to possess.

  161. But if you, if your heart turns away and you are not obedient

  162. and you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship

  163. them, declare to you this day that you will certainly be

  164. destroyed. You will not live long in the

  165. land you are crossing to Jordan to enter and possess this day.

  166. I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I

  167. have set before you life and death, blessings and kisses.

  168. Now choose life so that you and your children may live and that

  169. you may love the Lord your God. Listen to His voice and hold

  170. fast to Him. For the Lord is your life, and

  171. He will give you many years in the land He swore to give your

  172. father's Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Amen.

  173. Can you please repeat this after me?

  174. For the Lord is your life, and He will give you many years in

  175. the land he swore, Amen. So this scripture that is after

  176. God has sent Moses to go and deliver the people of Israel

  177. from Egypt. The Bible is saying that after

  178. God has sent Moses, Moses went through a lot of challenges.

  179. In fact, it wasn't easy for Moses to lead the people of

  180. Israel after God himself has chosen Moses to go and deliver

  181. the people of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh.

  182. The Bible is saying that the people to whom Moses was sent to

  183. resisted him in many ways. But because Moses was the

  184. prophet of God, was the representative of God, God gave

  185. his word to his people through Moses.

  186. And so it got to a point. God was speaking to the people

  187. of Israel through Moses and drawing their attention to the

  188. fact that they have their will. God has given them their will,

  189. praise the Lord. And then Moses went further, and

  190. then he was trying to let them understand the fact that the

  191. will God has given unto them. They must make good choice of it

  192. or they must use their will wisely.

  193. And so the 15th saying, I sat before you today, life and

  194. prosperity, death and destruction, And as people of

  195. God, as children of God who have been saved through the blood of

  196. Jesus Christ, the same thing applies to us.

  197. Yes, we have been saved. Yes, He has purchased us with

  198. His blood, but He has given us our free will.

  199. Praise the Lord. But the intention of God for

  200. saving us is for us to inherit eternal life.

  201. The reason why God did not leave us to remain in the Kingdom of

  202. darkness, God did not leave us to abide in the abyss of hell,

  203. is because His original intention for man is for Him to

  204. inherit eternal life. And so now that God has served

  205. us through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, God has given

  206. us back our will just as His. He gave the will to Adam and

  207. Eve, but as a result of the kind of choice they made, the

  208. consequence they faced and brought eternal death unto man.

  209. Praise the Lord, now that you have become a child of God.

  210. God has given us the free will. But it is very important for us

  211. to know the reason why God created man, the reason why God

  212. saved man. The reason why God saved man is

  213. in order for man to inherit his glory is in order for man to

  214. come back to the original plan of God, which is to inherit the

  215. Kingdom of God. But you see what's happened in

  216. the Garden of Eden was that man decided to disobey the

  217. instruction of God. So what it means that whenever

  218. man fails to disobey the instruction of God, it is a

  219. choice you have made. And whenever man decides to obey

  220. the instruction of God, it is a choice that you have made.

  221. But God is expecting that as a child of God, we will or you

  222. will obey. I will obey His commands, His

  223. instructions, whether it is favorable or not.

  224. When it happens this way, then what it means is that we are

  225. adhering to the instructions, which is attached to our

  226. colleague. Praise the Lord.

  227. And what was this was saying that for?

  228. I command you today to love the Lord your God, to work in

  229. obedience to Him. The people who have been saved

  230. from the hands of Pharaoh, do not forget that these people

  231. were under oppression. They were maltreated, and then

  232. God through Moses saved them. Now they have their freedom, now

  233. they have their liberty. They were no more under

  234. oppression. And then as Moses was leading

  235. them, God was speaking through Moses unto them and telling them

  236. of the need, the importance, commanding them to love the Lord

  237. their God. I want to believe that probably

  238. they were failing to love the Lord and they were not being

  239. obedient to the voice of God. And that is why God through

  240. Moses was reminding them, was telling them of the need and the

  241. importance. So that means that you cannot be

  242. a child of God, you cannot be an ambassador of God, you cannot be

  243. a Christian who does not love God and who does not obey the

  244. voice of God. At times when we talk about the

  245. love for God, some people think it is all about what we say.

  246. But true love is seen through our actions.

  247. Praise the Lord, there are some people who have good vibes.

  248. One, you need to convince a lady that you love her.

  249. The kind of words you put together, when you hear it, you

  250. melt. That is not the kind of love we

  251. are talking about. And moreover, we need to

  252. understand that the God we are serving, the Bible is saying

  253. that He is all knowing. As I stand here, if I love God,

  254. he knows. As you sit there, if you love

  255. God He knows I cannot tell and even if I should tell I will

  256. based on what I see. And it is not everything we see

  257. that is real and genuine but our God Bible says He is all

  258. knowing. And I pray this morning that you

  259. love the Lord your God with all your hearts.

  260. And if you love him, he should be seen through your actions,

  261. you should be seen through your deeds, you should be seen

  262. through your speech, praise the Lord.

  263. And in fact, this morning, as we have come to the presence of

  264. God, what kind of hearts, what kind of mind have we come before

  265. him with? I have been talking about this

  266. thing all the time. The love for God, the love for

  267. God compels you to do things for God.

  268. The love for God compels you to do things for God.

  269. Praise the Lord. So if you get to the point that

  270. nothing compels you, then Amen. That's to work in obedience to

  271. Him and to keep His commands. Decrease and loss.

  272. Then you will increase. Then you will leave an increase,

  273. then you will leave an increase. So you could see that God has

  274. made provision for us if we want to leave, if we want to

  275. increase. God is expecting that we will

  276. love Him and that we will obey His commands.

  277. Failure to that, I don't expect anything.

  278. At times we come to church, we come to the presence of God and

  279. we pray, Oh God bless me, Oh God, increase me.

  280. Oh God, let me live long. Meanwhile you don't love the

  281. Lord, meanwhile you don't obey the word of God.

  282. But God has made provision for us.

  283. It's just if you want to live long, if you want to increase,

  284. then love me. If you want to increase, if you

  285. want to live long, then obey my comments.

  286. So brother, anything contrary to this, don't expect the results.

  287. Amen. God has made the provision for

  288. us and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are

  289. entering to possess, but your heart stays away and we are not

  290. obedient and you are drawn away to bow down to other ghosts and

  291. worship them. So do not forget the Lord was

  292. leading them to the promised land as the Lord is leading us

  293. also into heaven until he was reminding them.

  294. He was telling them of the of the need and the importance of

  295. them to love Him and to also obey His commands so that they

  296. will leave an increase. And then he was saying that the

  297. opposite, that their hearts turns away and not obedience.

  298. You are drawn away or you, yes, you are drawn away to bow down

  299. to other gods. So what it means that anytime we

  300. fail to love the Lord, anytime we fail to obey the voice of

  301. God, the instructions of God, the commands of God, what it

  302. means is that our hearts are drawn away.

  303. What it means is that we bow down to other gods and worship

  304. them. Praise the Lord.

  305. This is serious. So if you are, if you don't take

  306. care, you may be bowing down to other gods, you may be

  307. worshipping other gods unknowingly.

  308. But the Bible is saying that the moment you fail to love Him, the

  309. moment you fail to obey His commands, what it means is that

  310. you are doing the contrary, which is bowing down to other

  311. gods and worshipping them. What means that your heart is

  312. drawn away from Him. And this morning it is my prayer

  313. that the Lord will be gracious unto us.

  314. You will not live long in the land you are crossing to.

  315. You not live long to the land you are crossing the Jordan to

  316. enter and possess this day. I call the heavens and the earth

  317. as witnesses against you that I have searched before you, life

  318. and death, brothers and sisters in the Lord.

  319. As the Lord has saved us, as the Lord has saved us, the Lord has

  320. given us our free will. You have to make a decision for

  321. yourself. If you inherit eternal life,

  322. it's in your hands. If you inherit eternal

  323. condemnation, it's in your hands.

  324. Praise the Lord. But Moses went further and then

  325. he advised them, Now choose life so that you and your children

  326. may live. So what it means is that any

  327. decision you take is not about you only, but it even affects

  328. your children. So if you choose death, death

  329. will come after your children and your children's children.

  330. And if you choose life, life will come after you, your

  331. children, and your children children.

  332. So what means that the kind of choice we make, the kind of

  333. decision we take is very, very critical, even though we have

  334. been purchased by the blood of Christ, Amen.

  335. Amen. When you come to the New

  336. Testament, it makes it clear. It makes it clear that it is God

  337. who calls just like God himself chose the people of Israel unto

  338. himself, and as because He had established a covenant with the

  339. great grandfather Abraham, after so many years, God kept His

  340. covenant with them. We who are the New Testament

  341. believers, the Bible makes us understand that until God calls

  342. you, you cannot come unto him. Hello, until God calls you, you

  343. cannot come unto him. So this morning as you are

  344. seated here, I want you to believe in your spirit and in

  345. your soul that it is God who has called you.

  346. Praise the Lord. At times we walk without

  347. confidence because we don't know who has called us.

  348. But if you have the belief and the faith that it is God who has

  349. called me, it is God who has called you, it even affect the

  350. way you work. You are able to work boldly, you

  351. are able to work courageously because you believe within your

  352. spirit and your soul that it is God who has called you.

  353. And that is the reason why you have become a child of God.

  354. What a privilege. It is not everyone that God

  355. calls. So for you to have the

  356. opportunity for you to be called by God, praise the Lord.

  357. Shall we read from John chapter 6 verse 41 downwards?

    John 6:41

  358. I'm reading from the NIV. At this the Jews there began to

  359. grumble about him, because he said, I am the bread that came

  360. down from heaven. They said, Is this not Jesus the

  361. son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know?

  362. How can he now say I came down from heaven?

  363. Stop grumbling among yourselves, Jesus answered.

  364. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them,

  365. and I will raise them up at the last day.

  366. It is written in the prophets. They will all be taught by God.

  367. Everyone who has heard the Father and learn from Him comes

  368. to me. No one has seen the Father

  369. except the one who is from God. Only he has seen the Father.

  370. Very truly. I tell you, the one who believes

  371. has eternal life. I am the bread of life.

  372. Your ancestors ate the manner in the wilderness, yet they died.

  373. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone

  374. may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came

  375. down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will

  376. live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I

  377. will give for the life of the world.

  378. Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves.

  379. How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

  380. Jesus said to them very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the

  381. flesh of the Son of man and eat his blood, you have no life in

  382. you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks

  383. my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last

  384. day. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks

  385. my blood remains in me and I in them.

  386. Just as the living Father sent me, and I leave because of the

  387. Father, so the one who fees on me will leave because of me.

  388. This is the bread that came down from heaven.

  389. Your ancestors ate mana and died, but whoever fees on the

  390. bread will live forever. He said this while teaching in

  391. the synagogue of Capeno. Amen.

  392. But my interest is in the verse 44.

  393. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them,

  394. and I'll raise them up at the last day.

  395. Do not forget that the intention of God is that man will live

  396. eternally. And so Jesus is saying that it

  397. is he who draws all the Father, draws people on to him, and any

  398. person who comes on to him, he will live forever, praise the

  399. Lord. But the reason why I added the

  400. others is for us to understand because today is loss of our

  401. Sunday. Do not forget that when God was

  402. leading the people of Israel through Moses and got to a point

  403. that God provided manner unto them and then Jesus is reminding

  404. them that their ancestors the 8 manner, yet they died, praise

  405. the Lord. And then he was comparing

  406. himself to the manner or the bread, the eggs, and then he is

  407. saying that he also came from heaven.

  408. Anyone who eats of him answered then Jesus had not died, but

  409. Jesus was telling them what was to happen, praise the Lord and

  410. so he said anyone who eats will live.

  411. Let me read it again. How can this man give us his

  412. flesh to eat? Jesus said to them, very truly,

  413. I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and

  414. drink his blood, you have no life in you, Praise the Lord.

  415. So if you are sitting here this morning, there are some people,

  416. yes, they have accepted Jesus Christ, yes, they have been

  417. baptized, but because they live in sin, they don't partake in

  418. the Lord Supper. The Bible is saying that if you

  419. do not, if you do not eat, I'll see me.

  420. I'm fetching of Francos. Unless you eat the flesh of the

  421. Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

  422. So when you come and accept the Lord Jesus, when you are

  423. baptized and you don't eat the lost Supper, you don't eat the

  424. bread, you don't eat the you don't drink the blood, you have

  425. no life in you. So what it means is that

  426. partaking of the Lost Supper, it is very, very important in the

  427. life of the believer. The reason why Jesus has saved

  428. us is for us to have eternal life, life in abundance.

  429. So accepting the Lord Jesus Christ brings life, and Jesus is

  430. saying that if you do not eat, if you do not drink, you have no

  431. life in you. So what it means is that

  432. anything that prevents the believer from partaking the law

  433. Supper, you need to deal with it until then.

  434. Yes, you might have accepted him, you might have been

  435. baptized by you have no life. Praise the Lord, ask your

  436. neighbor, do you have life? Whoever eats my flesh and drinks

  437. my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last

  438. day. So what happens to those who

  439. don't eat? May the Lord help us this

  440. morning. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks

  441. my blood remains in me and I eat them.

  442. So what happens to those who don't eat and drink?

  443. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I

  444. eat them. So whoever does not eat my flesh

  445. and does not drink my blood, what happens to them?

  446. I'm not saying it is the Bible. So if you are here, you don't

  447. eat, you don't drink, then you should know and Bible is saying

  448. that you are not in him and he's not in you.

  449. So you will be in the church. And you say I love God, I, I, I,

  450. I worship God, yet you are wasting your time.

  451. Praise the Lord this morning. May the Lord be gracious unto us

  452. because of time. I'm reading from Ephesians

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  453. chapter 4 verse one as a prisoner for the Lord.

  454. Then I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have

  455. received. The author of these words is

  456. Apostle Paul. If you should study the life of

  457. Apostle Paul and Bible says that he is someone who fought the

  458. people of God and then when he repented, when he encountered

  459. the light of God and he repented.

  460. The Bible is saying that he changed from his old ways and

  461. now began to walk in newness of life.

  462. And in the newness of life he loved the Lord his God and he

  463. obeyed all the commands he gave him.

  464. If you read when Saul had an encounter with the light, Bible

  465. is saying that when the light strike him down and then he

  466. screamed, Who are you Lord? And then the conversation went

  467. on and then the Lord instructed him to go.

  468. And Bible is saying that he obeyed the voice of the Lord.

  469. So, brethren, as people of God, when we come to the saving

  470. knowledge of Christ, we need to obey the voice of God.

  471. Until we obey the voice of God, we cannot love him.

  472. Until we obey the voice of God, we cannot worship him, praise

  473. the Lord. And so after Paul has a soul who

  474. has become Paul has worked with God and God has used him to do

  475. great things, to accomplish many things, Paul came to himself and

  476. then he was saying that that is what we just read as a prisoner

  477. for the Lord. Then I urge you to live a life

  478. worthy of the quality you have received.

  479. So here Paul recognized that it is a call that he received and

  480. has responded to it. And then he is saying that, or

  481. he has come to the point of understanding, acknowledging

  482. that when you receive this call, you become a prisoner of Christ.

  483. Hello. When you receive the call of

  484. God, I've already made you to understand that until God calls

  485. you, you cannot come on to it. And not that God has called you

  486. and you have become a child of God.

  487. When Paul is saying that when you receive this call, you

  488. become a prisoner for him. How many of us are prisoners for

  489. Christ? The other time I think spoke

  490. about a prisoner and then he made us to understand who is a

  491. prisoner? How is that someone is a

  492. prisoner? It means your life does not

  493. belong to you. Again, you don't have the

  494. freedom to live your life the way you want.

  495. You are forced to do things contrary to your will, praise

  496. the Lord. So as a prisoner of Christ, what

  497. it means is that at times you wish to have something.

  498. You wish to have something, but because you're a prisoner of

  499. Christ, you are compelled, just like someone when you are in the

  500. world, what may be when you are in the world, you are a

  501. womanizer. Unless you don't see a lady, you

  502. sleep with her, and then you come to the serving knowledge of

  503. Christ, and then you see a lady so that things are there, their

  504. vibes and everything. But when you become a child of

  505. God, because you have now become a prisoner of Christ, you are

  506. compelled to do away with those things.

  507. Maybe when you are in the world, you used to drink.

  508. When you become a child of God, as a prisoner of Christ, you

  509. have the freedom, you have the liberty, You can decide to

  510. drink. But because you recognize that I

  511. own not myself, I belong to God, I have AI have become a prisoner

  512. of Christ. You do away with those things,

  513. praise the Lord. Maybe when you are in the world

  514. you are corrupt when you come to the saving knowledge of Christ.

  515. Yes, you were once corrupt, but now that you have become a

  516. prisoner of Christ, you have to do away with those things.

  517. And that is what shows that now you live under the instruction.

  518. Now you live for God. Until then you are not a

  519. prisoner of Christ. So what Paul was trying to say

  520. is that we have the liberty to live our lives anyhow.

  521. But because of the call he received, and he has responded

  522. to it, he has subjected himself to the will of the Master.

  523. And because he has subjected himself, he has become a

  524. prisoner. So when you received a call and

  525. you fail to subject yourself, you cannot be a prisoner.

  526. How well have you subjected yourself to the call you have

  527. received? So what I want you to understand

  528. this morning is that as a child of God, your will does not

  529. belong to you. The reason why I will have to

  530. wake up early in the morning and come to church even though my

  531. sleep is not enough for me is because I don't owe myself as a

  532. prisoner. You have to wake up on time, but

  533. when you owe yourself, you wake up the time you want.

  534. Praise the Lord. The reason why one the other

  535. that I can see was saying that when you go to the prison, they

  536. don't get the food of their choice and even the kind of food

  537. they give them. You have no choice.

  538. If you don't eat, you die. So as a prisoner of Christ, you

  539. don't choose what you want to eat.

  540. May the Lord help us this morning.

  541. I pray that we all come to the point of understanding that

  542. because of the blood of Christ we have become prisoners of

  543. Christ. Because we have been saved by

  544. Him and we have become children of God.

  545. We are prisoners of Christ. Until you get this understanding

  546. and you come to this level, all our worship will be full of

  547. hypocrisy. And that is the reason why maybe

  548. as an elder I'm saying it is no good to drink.

  549. Yet when I close, I'll go and drink.

  550. I'll look left, I will look right and I drink.

  551. It is no good to commit fornication as an elder.

  552. I am. I'm a member.

  553. Why would an elder, why would a member do that?

  554. He has not got to the point of understanding that he is a

  555. prisoner of Christ. He has not subjected himself to

  556. the calling he has received. And so when you are in a church

  557. and you are living a double life, you are living a

  558. hypocritical life. You should know that it's

  559. because you have not subjected yourself to the calling you have

  560. received for the calling you have received.

  561. All right, but you have decided. So it's a matter of decision.

  562. You have decided not to subject yourself to the call you have

  563. received. How well have you subjected

  564. yourself to the call you have received?

  565. The scripture makes sense to understand that we have the

  566. right to do everything, but as children of God we don't deserve

  567. to do everything. The other time I was telling

  568. someone, where do the people dress anyhow?

  569. And as children of God, we also at times dress anyhow.

  570. So when you come and you bring the wetly person here and you

  571. bring the Christian here, you can't even differentiate who is

  572. the wetly person and who is the Christian.

  573. But as a child of God, as an ambassador of Christ, where do

  574. you stand? People should see, even from

  575. your appearance, who you are. As a child of God, how do you

  576. live your life? I remember I went to a funeral

  577. and I met some of my classmates and then they were going to

  578. drink. They were calling themselves no,

  579. because I'm quite wage. I don't know.

  580. And so forth. Why is he saying you live your

  581. life for people to move to see the enemies are quite sorry for?

  582. Oh yeah, massive. Oh yeah.

  583. Oh. How?

  584. I love you and those people one day raise their hands, you could

  585. see that tears are coming. And so when you are sitting

  586. here, you look at the person appear as you see that this

  587. person, he loves God. So knowing you're correct, that

  588. is why I'm saying that it is God the all knowing One who knows

  589. the heart of men. We can only talk about what we

  590. see, but the one who sees beyond the physical.

  591. I mean, maybe let me read this and I'll bring my message to a

  592. close. First Thessalonians chapter 4-1

    1 Thessalonians 4 chapter mention

  593. to 8. As for the other matters,

  594. brothers and sisters, we instructed you how to live in

  595. order to please God, as in fact you are living now.

  596. We ask you and aunt you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and

  597. more, for you know what instructions we give you by the

  598. authority of the Lord Jesus. It is God's will that you should

  599. be sanctified. It is God's will that you should

  600. be certified, that you should avoid sexual immorality.

  601. Please listen carefully. I'm reading the tray.

  602. It is cause will that you should be sanctified.

  603. So when Bible say it is God's will, what it means is that God

  604. is expecting that. God is expecting that.

  605. It is God's will that you should be sanctified, that you should

  606. avoid sexual immorality, that each of you should learn to

  607. control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not

  608. in passionates last like the pagans who do not know God.

  609. And that's in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage

  610. of a brother or a sister. The Lord will punish all those

  611. who commit such sins as we told you and warn you before.

  612. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

  613. Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject

  614. a human being, but God, the very God who gives you His Holy

  615. Spirit. Amen.

  616. So it is the expectation of God that we will live a holy life.

  617. Hello. So if when the people are

  618. committing fornication and friends adultery, God is

  619. expecting that we will leave contrary.

  620. So maybe you are here this morning you have been committing

  621. fornication. No one sees you, maybe even you

  622. just you are just coming from you are just coming from one.

  623. No one has seen you. But this morning the word of God

  624. is telling us, is admonishing us, that God is expecting that

  625. we will do away with these things.

  626. The expectation of God is that as people of God, as children of

  627. God, we will live a holy and pure life.

  628. Amen. And then he's saying that anyone

  629. who reject these instructions, anyone who lives his life

  630. anyhow, does not reject a human being, but God.

  631. So yes, you have accepted him. You have been baptized by, if

  632. you live your life anyhow, you should know that you have

  633. rejected God. So what it means is that you can

  634. be in the church and reject God and you be in the church, you

  635. die. We will say you are a member and

  636. we will bury you. Prepare for us.

  637. We will say you are going to heaven.

  638. But he who knows everything, may the Lord help us.

  639. Then Galatians chapter 121. Then I went to Syria and

  640. Sicilia. I was personally unknown to the

  641. churches of Judea that are in Christ.

  642. They only heard the reports. The man who formally persecuted

  643. us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.

  644. And they praised God because of me, praise the Lord.

  645. So this is Saul who has now become Paul.

  646. And the Bible is saying that as a result of what he did after he

  647. had an encounter with the light of God, after he he repented,

  648. after he became born again because of the life he lived,

  649. because of the faith he kept, the Bible is saying that.

  650. And they praise God because of him.

  651. So what it means is that because of you, because of me, people

  652. should be able to praise God. But when people are not able to

  653. praise God because of you and because of me, what it means is

  654. that we have failed God. This morning.

  655. May the Lord be gracious unto us.

  656. Amen. Shall we be on our feet and just

  657. bow down your head and contemplates on the word you

  658. have heard this morning? Living a life worthy of your

  659. calling? Living a life worthy of your

  660. calling. Living a life worthy of your

  661. calling. What kind of life do you live?

  662. Do you truly love God? Do you obey the commands of God?

  663. What kind of choices do you make?

  664. Are the choices of the choices you make, are they the ones that

  665. brings you life or that brings you death?

  666. Just contemplates and the word of God you have heard this

  667. morning just as.

  668. I am your present. As I can.

  669. With. An unveiling.

  670. Face gives he out your glory. Transform me to Christ your Son.

  671. I can. Oh my God, please open your

  672. eyes. Project the lyrics for us.

  673. Can you please repeat after me? Just as I am, just as I am your

  674. presence, I come, Your presence. I come with an unveiling face,

  675. with an unveiling face, gazing at your glory, gazing at your

  676. glory, transforming to Christ your Son, transforming to Christ

  677. your Son, I come, Oh my God bless.

  678. Me. I come, Oh my God bless.

  679. We have to understand that the call we have received, when you

  680. receive this call and you come, all you have to do is to gaze at

  681. Him. The moment you take your eyes

  682. off him, you fail. And this morning we want to, no

  683. matter the kind of situation we find ourselves, we want to turn

  684. our eyes back on him. We want to gaze at him.

  685. If you gaze at him hanging on the tree, hanging on the cross,

  686. you shall be saved. As as I heard your prayers, as I

  687. come, we tie all. Billy, please.

  688. Gazing at your glory, transforming to Christ your son.

  689. I come. Oh my God, bless you.

  690. Yeah, I come. Oh my God.

  691. Let's dance as I am your prayer. Oh my God, most at times we

  692. come. To the presence of God, but

  693. many. Of us live hypocritical.

  694. Lives with their mind that my bastard does not know, My elder

  695. does not know, my brother does not know, my sister does not

  696. know. Forgetting that the one who has

  697. called us, he knows you this morning if you can.

  698. Just raise up your two hands. We want to surrender ourselves

  699. unto him that you'll be. Gracious unto us.

  700. The intention of God for calling you, for calling me, is for us

  701. to inherit eternal life, some of us for months.

  702. For yes, we don't. Partake the Lost Supper and it

  703. does not mean anything to us. Yet we come to church and we

  704. call ourselves people of God, children of God.

  705. Some of us, we live our lives anyhow.

  706. Transforming to Christ your. Son.

  707. I can't. Oh my God, let's talk of you can

  708. change. My life.

  709. I yes, says my soul on fire yard to do you as I thought.

  710. You can't. Change my life I.

  711. Said my soul on fire yard. To do Lord, you are the one.

  712. I need. Cause me to Lord.

  713. Bring. Me to my knees, you are my

  714. knees. The God cause me to see, Hold me

  715. in your eyes, bring me to your broom and feed me with your

  716. Larry's eyes. That's our job.

  717. You can't change my life and say I soul on fire to do your That's

  718. our job. You can't change my life.

  719. I. Lima.

  720. Lehi mahi.

  721. He. Touch me.

  722. Anytime the word of God comes, it is for a.

  723. Purpose this morning as we stand before the presence of God, I

  724. just want you to cry unto him for a touch.

  725. The touch of God is enough to bring transformation into our

  726. lives. This morning we are praying for

  727. a touch of God. The touch of God that is able to

  728. bring transformation. The touch of God that is able to

  729. bring renewal. Touch me, oh Lord.

  730. Touch me. Yeah, yeah, Touch me.

  731. Just. 1. I.

  732. So. That I may know your way.

  733. So so that I may know your way so that I may.

  734. Know. Your way, soon as I do, revive

  735. me. Oh Lord, let us be.

  736. Reach me me so that I know your ways.

  737. Just be silenced in the presence of God.

  738. As you do self retrospection, how well do you love the Lord?

  739. Are the things you confess. Contrary to their life.

  740. And contrary to the kind of life you are living.

  741. How well do you love the Lord? How well do you obey the

  742. commands of the Lord? Do you live a hypocritical life?

  743. How sincere are you to yourself? How do you value the salvation

  744. you have received? Just contemplate on all these

  745. things, even as you sit on the feet of the Master, the one who

  746. is able. To wash us through his weight.

  747. The one who is able to cleanse us through his weight.

  748. Lord, this morning may you open our eyes so that we will see

  749. you, so that we will know your way.

  750. The.
