  32. Amen, God. Bless you youth squad, as this

  33. Gentry, I want us to prepare our mind and our hearts as we see

  34. from the Lord. And the vessel that today, this

  35. morning, the Lord has prepared is no other person that our own

  36. elder Ada connects about Nancy. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.

  37. I just want you to stay. Just be on your feet.

  38. Just be on your feet. Be on your feet.

  39. Bare your feet. Begin to speak to the Holy

  40. Spirit. Begin to speak to the Holy

  41. Spirit. Begin to speak to the Holy

  42. Spirit. Begin.

  43. To speak to the Holy. Spirit.

  44. None. Father, we thank you for your

  45. presence in our means this morning.

  46. We cannot thank you enough. You are so gracious, so

  47. merciful. We thank you for this

  48. opportunity and we pray the Lord God you will deliver to the

  49. glory of your name. Amen.

  50. This morning we thank God for the opportunity given us.

  51. I also want to thank the District pastor, the Presbytery,

  52. or the executive of the district, my presiding order for

  53. this golden opportunity. I really appreciate it.

  54. God bless you this morning. I want us to prepare our hearts

  55. and work with God this morning. Turn your left, your right, and

  56. tell your brother or your sister.

  57. Prepare your hearts to work with God this morning.

  58. Prepare your hearts to work with God this morning.

  59. All right. So this morning it is a

  60. privilege that God want to use me to pass through his message

  61. to you. And the message that God has

  62. given to me this morning to share with you is that the

  63. identity of the only child of God, In other words, the

  64. identity of a Christian or a believer, I take it again, the

  65. identity of the unleashed child of God or the identity of a

  66. Christian or a believer. Hallelujah this morning.

  67. This is a gospel sending. And when you talk about gospel

  68. sending, it's about Jesus Christ, it's about the good

  69. gospel, it's about the news, it's about Jesus Christ, it's

  70. about the sacrifice that he has done for us.

  71. It's about the mission of Jesus Christ on this earth.

  72. But this morning I want us to to in our mind to something that is

  73. very, very important. So I want you to understand your

  74. identity as a Christian this morning.

  75. If I may ask you, what is your identity?

  76. What is your identity? I don't want to define identity

  77. from any this scenario or whatever.

  78. That is not the mission I want us to know this morning.

  79. But when I what I want us to know is the Christian context of

  80. identity. So in my definition I said

  81. identity is who you are in relationship to God.

  82. An identity of a believer is who you are in relationship to God.

  83. It is not about your job, it is not about your social status, it

  84. is not about your past mistakes, and it is not about your

  85. personal achievement, Hallelujah.

  86. But it is about your relationship with God.

  87. Amen. So this morning I just want you

  88. to pay very much attention to what God wants to tell you this

  89. morning, that you have an identity.

  90. Once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior,

  91. an identity has been given unto you.

  92. And that identity is what I want you to know this morning.

  93. So please kindly work with me. So if I say an identity, the

  94. Bible teaches that knowing your true identity, knowing your true

  95. identity begins with the understanding that God created

  96. you on purpose. Hallelujah.

  97. Knowing your identity, your true identity, begins with

  98. understanding that God created you on purpose and true faith in

  99. Christ. You are made new and then you

  100. are called to serve Him alone. Hallelujah.

  101. I take it again, the Bible is saying that when you get to know

  102. your true identity, your true identity, that begins with the

  103. understanding that God created you on purpose and true faith in

  104. Jesus, you are made, knew and called to live for him.

  105. So what is your true identity or what is your, what is Christian

  106. identity? The number one identity you need

  107. to know is that you have been created by God.

  108. Hallelujah, you and I, we are created by God.

  109. In fact, every human being is made or is created in the image

  110. of God. So therefore, as you are a human

  111. being, you are also created. You are part of that creation

  112. and that one is natural. It's for everyone.

  113. We are created in the image of God.

  114. This means that we have an inherent dignity and value.

  115. Amen. We have inherent dignity, value,

  116. and wealth not because of what we do, but because of who made

  117. us. Hallelujah.

  118. So you and I have been created in the image of God.

  119. No matter your color, no matter the trap you are coming from, no

  120. matter your white color, your black color, your red color,

  121. whatever color you are, God created every mankind in his own

  122. image and we are all one. Hallelujah.

  123. So we have been created to reflect God nature in unique

  124. ways. Our ability to think, love,

  125. create and choose right and wrong and be in relationships.

  126. Hallelujah. So God created us with a purpose

  127. we have to think like God, the ability to think and to love,

  128. and then to choose right and wrong.

  129. Amen. So when we are able to exhibit

  130. all this, it means God's creation is really portraying

  131. who He is. Hallelujah.

  132. So the application is that you are not an accident.

  133. You matter deeply to God. You have worked because you bear

  134. His image. So you sitting there, you have

  135. been created in a very special way.

  136. You are not just an ordinary person, but you bear the image

  137. of God. Hallelujah.

  138. So number one, we are created in the image of God.

  139. That is #1 identity. Another point I want you to know

  140. is that once you accepted Christ as your personal Lord and

  141. Savior, you have received a new creation.

  142. You have been given a new creation, Hallelujah.

  143. So all mankind has been created in the image of God, but it is

  144. not everyone that received this new creation.

  145. This new creation is in Jesus Christ.

  146. So when you receive Christ as your personal Lord and Savior,

  147. you became a savior. You became a new creation.

  148. So let's read a book of the book of Second Corinthians, chapter

    2 Corinthians 5:17

  149. 5, verse 17. Therefore, if anyone is in

  150. Christ, the new life or the new creation has come, the old has

  151. gone, the new is here. So when you put your when you

  152. put your faith in Christ or Jesus, you are spiritually

  153. reborn. Hallelujah.

  154. When you put your faith or when you accept Jesus Christ as your

  155. personal Lord and Savior, you are spiritually reborn.

  156. You are not in your own or your own nature.

  157. We've agreed that we are all created in the image of God.

  158. But those who believe, all those who accepted Jesus Christ has

  159. been given a new life. You and I, we have been given a

  160. new life and a new identity. The identity that we receive is

  161. a new creation that tells you that you have a what you call

  162. you when you are set price, you have a new life.

  163. Hallelujah. So your own identity defined by

  164. sin, shame, brokenness or whatever, OK, your own identity,

  165. what you used to be, who you used to be, the normal nature

  166. you used to be, that identity is now being replaced in Christ.

  167. Your own nature has been replaced in Christ.

  168. So this means you have a new purpose, a new direction in

  169. life. So when you receive this new

  170. creation or this new life, your life changes.

  171. You're no more the old person they used to know.

  172. You're no more the person that everybody know to be a howlot on

  173. the street. You're no, you're no more the

  174. person that people can point fingers and say that this person

  175. is just something. This person don't fit society.

  176. So when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and

  177. Savior, you have a new heart, a new purpose and a new direction

  178. in life. So what you have to do is you

  179. must put your past things or your past things does not define

  180. you in Christ. You are a brand new.

  181. I want you to know that you are a brand new.

  182. God has made you a brand new. That is your identity.

  183. Hallelujah. So you have an identity through

  184. Jesus Christ our Savior. So when you accept Christ as

  185. your personal Lord and Savior, the old is gone and the new is

  186. here. And you and I this morning, we

  187. are, we are what we are new creation.

  188. The old life is gone. We have a new life in Christ.

  189. So another point I want you to know, or another feature of a

  190. Christian identity is that you become a child of God.

  191. That is another identity of a Christian or a believer.

  192. You become a child of God, Hallelujah.

  193. Let's read the book of John, chapter one, verse 13, verse

  194. chapter one, verse 12. He says that yet to all who did

  195. receive him, yet to all who did receive him, to those who

  196. believes in his name, he gains, he gains the right to become

  197. children of God. Hallelujah.

  198. So true faith in Jesus Christ. Believers are adapted into the

  199. family of God. So that is an identity that you

  200. have. Amen.

  201. I can't hear you. I thought you say it better than

  202. that because you've been a child of God.

  203. You've been a child of God. It's a privilege.

  204. You know, Let's let me tell you something.

  205. What you have today, there are so many.

  206. People who are just wishing to be like you or to have the kind

  207. of freedom to have the kind of life that you have, but they

  208. cannot, they cannot feed themselves.

  209. And it is very difficult for them to even have Christ because

  210. of how Satan actually catch them.

  211. But you and I, we must be thankful to God that an

  212. opportunity has been given to us to become children of God.

  213. So when you read Romans chapter 8 verse 15 to 17, you can write

    Romans 8:15–17

  214. it down when you get to Romans chapter 8 verse 15 to 17, and

    Romans 8:15–17

  215. then Galatians chapter 4 verse 7.

    Galatians 4:7

  216. So we are not just followers or servants, we are sons and

  217. daughters of the living God. Hallelujah, once you accept

  218. Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are not just

  219. follower or a servant, but sons and daughters of our living

  220. Jesus Christ, Amen. So you are not alone.

  221. You belong to the family of God. He is your Father and you are

  222. his Son, Amen. Is it not a privilege?

  223. The Creator of everything calling you his son or his

  224. daughter is a privilege. And you can only get this when

  225. you accept Jesus Christ. It is Jesus Christ that will

  226. give you this identity, Hallelujah.

  227. It is only Jesus Christ that you can accord this identity, that

  228. you can what you you become a child of God, Amen.

  229. So number one, I said that identity as a believer, you have

  230. been created in the image of God and then you have been given a

  231. new life and then you became or you, you, you are now a child of

  232. God. Hallelujah.

  233. And the next one is that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  234. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  235. Please stand and tell your neighbor you are the temple of

  236. the Holy Spirit. You are the temple of the Holy

  237. Spirit. When we read the book of First

  238. Corinthians chapter 6 verse 19 to 26, that do you not know that

  239. your bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit Who is in you?

  240. Can you please project our side? Do you not know that your bodies

  241. are temples of the Holy Spirit who is you, whom you have

  242. received from God? You are not your own Hallelujah.

  243. So when you become or when you you, you accept Jesus Christ.

  244. The new identity that has been given to you has given you the

  245. opportunity to pair or to accommodate the Holy Spirit.

  246. The Bible says that when you accept Christ as your personal

  247. Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to stay in you and

  248. therefore you must make room for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you.

  249. Hallelujah, your body and life now belongs to God and and that

  250. is a sacred place for God to live.

  251. So you must live a holy life. You must live a holy life, a

  252. life that will make the Holy Spirit comfortable.

  253. You know, the Bible said that without the Holy Spirit,

  254. believers are nothing. Without the Holy Spirit, we are

  255. nothing. We cannot fulfill the promise of

  256. God unless the Holy Spirit is in US.

  257. Unless we are able to to realize the importance of the Holy

  258. Spirit, we are nothing. So therefore, when we accept

  259. Christ as our Lord and personal Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to

  260. stay in US, He dwells in US. And then it is the Holy Spirit

  261. that will help us to grow. It is the Holy Spirit that will

  262. help us to resist sin, Hallelujah.

  263. And it is the Holy Spirit that will help us to reflect our Lord

  264. Jesus Christ. So this morning I want you to

  265. look at yourself. Look at your Christian life.

  266. Is the Holy Spirit to you? Do you have the Holy Spirit to

  267. you? I want to believe that as a

  268. believer today, you have the Holy Spirit within yourself.

  269. And I want you to know that the Holy Spirit will help you to

  270. grow. It is the Holy Spirit that will

  271. help you to resist sin, and it is the Holy Spirit that will

  272. help you to always reflect the goodness, the goodness of Jesus

  273. Christ. Hallelujah.

  274. So that is another identity of a believer.

  275. When you are a believer, that identity has been given to you,

  276. Hallelujah. So I want you to know that when

  277. the Holy Spirit is in you, you are not powerless.

  278. God lives in you. Therefore, what do you feel when

  279. the Holy Spirit is in you? When God himself is dwelling

  280. within yourself, within you, What can go against you?

  281. It means you are not just a mere Christian.

  282. You are not just a mere follower, You have all the

  283. powers because the Holy Spirit have all the God has given us.

  284. See, when the Holy Spirit comes, we could do everything possible.

  285. What's our minds or these are things that we cannot do.

  286. When the Holy Spirit comes, it becomes possible.

  287. So this morning I want you to give yourself, open yourself up

  288. so that the Holy Spirit will dwell in you.

  289. Amen. So another point I want us to

  290. know is that 01 of the identities of a believer or a

  291. Christian is that we are ambassadors of Jesus Christ.

  292. Please turn and tell your neighbor, I am an ambassador of

  293. Jesus Christ. I am an ambassador of Jesus

  294. Christ. Let's read the book of

  295. Corinthians, Second Corinthians chapter 5, verse 20.

    2 Corinthians 5:20

  296. Please project it for me. We are therefore Christ's

  297. ambassadors as though please count your prejudice.

  298. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors as though God were

  299. making his appeal to us. We employ you on Christ's

  300. behalf. Be reconciled to God.

  301. Hallelujah. So when you become or when you,

  302. when you accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior,

  303. you become this ambassador. And we all know the works of an

  304. ambassador. So a simple means that we

  305. represent Christ on this world. We are the representatives of

  306. Christ on this world. And what must we do?

  307. What was the identity of Christ? What was the identity of Christ?

  308. Love, faithfulness, honest gentleness.

  309. So you and I, as an ambassadors of Christ, we must possess all

  310. this because we are the representatives.

  311. Jesus is no more here. We, you and I, we are the

  312. representatives of him. And therefore whatever Jesus

  313. Christ was possessed or what Jesus Christ is meant to be, we

  314. are supposed to be like that. Amen.

  315. So I want you to know that you accepting Jesus Christ did not

  316. end there, but you need to, you need to defend Jesus.

  317. You see, you are just like an ambassador, OK?

  318. You know, ambassador speaks on behalf of their countries and

  319. they defend no matter what. They defend their countries

  320. because that is the reason why they put them there, OK.

  321. When you see an ambassador, he represents that particular

  322. country. So you and I, we are the

  323. representatives of Christ on this earth.

  324. We are called to share God's love, truth, and forgiveness

  325. with others. OK, so your life has a purpose.

  326. Your life have a purpose. You must live a different life.

  327. Don't follow the don't. Don't just follow everything

  328. that you see. You are a different person.

  329. You have an identity. Hello.

  330. I said what? You have an identity.

  331. You are not just an ordinary person.

  332. So your life must be different from any other person.

  333. You should not join those who want to bring down people, those

  334. who don't really want to do good, OK?

  335. When you are such a person, you are not an ambassador of Christ.

  336. So I want you to know this morning that the identity that

  337. you have as a believer, you must protect it.

  338. You must make sure you live by it, live through that that true

  339. live through that identity. Make sure that identity is being

  340. reflected in your life. Don't live a hypocritical life.

  341. Don't live a hypocritical life. One thing about me is that me, I

  342. speak my mind. I don't know how to be a

  343. hypocrite. When I see the thing I talk at

  344. the end of the day, I've set my mind.

  345. I cannot say what is right and turn and turn back and say oh

  346. this is wrong, or try to. You must.

  347. Your one must be one. Your two must be two.

  348. Your everything must represent Christ.

  349. Hallelujah. So as believers, as an

  350. ambassadors of Christ, our truth identity is to represent Christ

  351. everywhere we find ourselves. Hallelujah.

  352. And another identity of a believer is that when you accept

  353. Christ, this is what I love so much, you become a citizen of

  354. heaven. Hallelujah.

  355. Please stand and tell. Just tell your neighbor, I am a

  356. citizen of heaven. I am a citizen of heaven.

  357. I am not just an ordinary person.

  358. So just imagine, you see heaven, we all know heaven.

  359. So if you call yourself all, if an identity has been given to

  360. you to be part of heaven, what a privilege, what a privilege.

  361. My brothers and sisters, you, you don't need to lose this

  362. identity. You don't need to lose this

  363. identity. Amen.

  364. So let's read the book of Philippians, chapter 3, verse

    Philippians 3:20

  365. 20. He says that but your citizen is

  366. in heaven and we are eagerly awaiting or awaits a Saviour

  367. from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

  368. So you and I, this is not where we belong.

  369. Hello, this is not where we belongs.

  370. This earth do not belongs to us. We are just passing by.

  371. Amen. We are just passing by our truth

  372. or our dwelling place is heaven. Even though we live on earth,

  373. our true home is in heaven. You see this earthly things that

  374. we are seeing. Everything is temporal.

  375. Everything you are seeing is temporal.

  376. You don't need to be worried about whatever that is just

  377. going around you. You have the power, the identity

  378. is being given to you to be part of the heaven citizen.

  379. So you don't need to be worried why you don't have money today.

  380. That is not the end. You see the Bible is saying that

  381. struggle or suffering is part of our what our expect of our our

  382. worship. So when you are a believer and

  383. you are going through challenges, it doesn't mean God

  384. is not with you. Don't forget you are a citizen

  385. of heaven. So whatever you do, your values,

  386. priorities and everything you do, everything must align with

  387. heaven, not just this world. Hallelujah, Because this world I

  388. will live is full of troubles. We don't have any future here.

  389. We do not have any future here. Our future is in heaven with

  390. God, Hallelujah. So whether you have money or you

  391. don't have money, whether people love you or they don't love you,

  392. Amen. You are a citizen of heaven and

  393. therefore you must always have this joy and you must always

  394. have this joy. So you have an identity, You

  395. have an identity, Hallelujah. So another point I want you, I

  396. want us to know is that 01 of the futures of a believer is

  397. that we are victorious. Tell your neighbor I am a

  398. Victoria. I'm a, I'm a I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm

  399. victorious. I have victory over everything.

  400. Please, I can't hear you. Tell your neighbor I have

  401. victory over everything. So you are victorious in Christ.

  402. We are victorious in Christ. So let's look at the book of

  403. Romans chapter 8, verse 37, Romans chapter 8, verse 37, it

    Romans 8:37 Romans 8:37

  404. says that no, in all these things we are more than

  405. conquerors through him who loves us.

  406. Hallelujah. So as I said earlier on, when

  407. you are going through the challenges, the difficulties,

  408. the trauma of this world, don't make disturb in Christ, we are

  409. victorious. There is another award waiting

  410. for you, Hallelujah. We can never be failures.

  411. It is only when you do not recognize your truth identity.

  412. And I am telling you that these are the truth identity of you

  413. sitting here. You are not just an ordinary

  414. person, Hallelujah. So you are victorious in Christ.

  415. So through Jesus Christ, believers are not defeated by

  416. sin, fear, or spiritual darkness.

  417. They are victorious because Jesus has already conquered

  418. death and evil. Hallelujah.

  419. So this victory give us or this victory give, we believe us the

  420. strength, the strength, the peace and the confidence even in

  421. struggles. As I said, this victory of our

  422. Lord Jesus Christ give us a strength, the peace even in our

  423. troubles. So you don't need to be bothered

  424. about anything. You are victorious.

  425. Heaven is waiting for you. Amen.

  426. So you are not a victim of life in Christ.

  427. You walk even when challenges comes.

  428. So take note, even in Christ there are challenges.

  429. So when you are walking through the challenges, know that Christ

  430. has already paid all Christ has conquer everything for you.

  431. Amen. So this identity is not

  432. Hallelujah. This identity is not end by

  433. being too good enough. The identities of you sitting

  434. here as a believer, it's not been end, but the good things

  435. you are doing no, it is received by grace, true faith, Amen.

  436. These identities that has been given to you, it's not because

  437. of your good things or whatever your wealth or by it is.

  438. It is true grace, our Lord Jesus Christ, that you have these

  439. privileges. Amen.

  440. So living in this identity means that living in your identity as

  441. a Christian, it's not just knowing who you are in theory.

  442. Hello. It is not just knowing who you

  443. are in theory, but you are working in it.

  444. You walk, you walk it out in your daily life.

  445. It is an ongoing genre of transformation shaped by the

  446. truth of God's Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

  447. Amen. Amen.

  448. So I said that an identity of a believer as you and I are seated

  449. here. One is that we have been created

  450. in the image of God and through Jesus Christ we've been given a

  451. new life, Hallelujah, and and after the new life we've been

  452. made children of God. And then after becoming children

  453. of God, we are the temples of the Holy Spirit.

  454. And then after that we become the bearers of Christ, which is

  455. we are an ambassadors of Christ. And then we are victorious.

  456. We are citizens of heaven. So my question is that how can

  457. we protect these identities as a believer?

  458. Now I have I've walked you through your real identity.

  459. Now I want you to ask yourself, how can how can you walk through

  460. these identities? Hello, that is your truth

  461. identity. I want you to know that this

  462. identity you must work through, how can you protect it?

  463. If you are given this opportunity, how can you protect

  464. it? So we are looking at ways to

  465. live in your Christian identity. So number one, I'm saying that

  466. renewing your mind with God, Amen.

  467. In order for you to walk through this this identity or to work in

  468. this identity, you must renew your mind.

  469. So the book of Romans chapter 12 verse 2 says that do not confirm

    Romans 12:2

  470. or conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed

  471. by the renewing of your mind. Hallelujah.

  472. So in order for you to be to walk through this identity, I

  473. have all the privileges in it. You must renew your mind.

  474. This The world's constantly try to shape our identity based on

  475. appearance, success, popularity and past failures.

  476. It is true. It is true.

  477. That is how the world define us. It's about who has money.

  478. It's about who is beautiful. It's about who was having money

  479. by now he doesn't have money. It's about a decision that you

  480. were you took and you fail. That is how the world.

  481. But this morning I want you to know that when you have a renew

  482. man of God, God truth must become the lens through which we

  483. view ourselves and others. So these things, you must not

  484. see them to be problems, OK? Don't see this to be a problems

  485. or to be a problem. You must.

  486. God's truth must become the lens.

  487. Listen, God, truth must become the lens through which we view

  488. ourselves and others. Amen.

  489. So this happened by reading, studying and meditating on the

  490. scripture allowing its hello. There is something here that

  491. when I was just preparing myself, I, I got to this place

  492. of asulai is so enticing. It says that allowing it to

  493. rewire. Hello, allowing you to rewire

  494. how you think and what you believe.

  495. So I want you to allow the Holy Spirit, when you renew your

  496. minds, allow the Holy Spirit to rewire, rewire.

  497. It means there was disconnection somewhere.

  498. So when you allow the Holy Spirit, you will rewire you to

  499. think and to think about what is going around this world and you

  500. make good decisions. Hallelujah.

  501. So another point is that you need to work in obedience.

  502. You must work in obedience in other to protect the identity

  503. that God has given to you. So when we read the book of John

    John 14:15

  504. chapter 14, verse 15 says that if you love me, keep my

  505. commandments. Your identity in Christ cause

  506. you to live differently, not to end God's love.

  507. Listen to not to end God's love, but as a response to it.

  508. So you must do what you're supposed to do.

  509. You must obey the instructions that God is given to us.

  510. This means that our daily decision, this means making

  511. daily decisions that reflects your new nature in Christ.

  512. So whatever decisions that you are making, you must make sure

  513. that it reflects Christ in your life.

  514. Amen. So obedience is a sign of trust.

  515. When you follow God ways you align with who he created you to

  516. be. OK, so we are saying that if you

  517. are going to work, if you, if you want to protect the identity

  518. that has been given to you, you must walk in obedience.

  519. And the Bible is saying that obedience is a sign of trust.

  520. When you follow God's ways, you aligned with who he created you

  521. to be. So when you accept Jesus Christ,

  522. you are no more yourself. You must walk in the ways of

  523. God. Your life must be different.

  524. People must see you and tell so many positive things about you,

  525. but not negative. Hallelujah.

  526. So another one time is good, but let me just finish.

  527. You must live together or you must live in a community.

  528. Hallelujah, you must live in a community.

  529. I remember one of the sermons of chairman, he says that there are

  530. people even believers who those who believe that they believe

  531. they are Christians, but they they, they, they, they, they,

  532. they will just wake up and make up their minds that after if I

  533. don't go to heaven, if I don't come to church, it doesn't mean

  534. God is not with me. But the sense Bible is saying

  535. that living in community will help you walk through the

  536. identity that God has been given to you.

  537. So let's read the book of first Corinthians chapter 12 verse 27.

    1 Corinthians 12:27

  538. Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of

  539. it. Hallelujah.

  540. So many of us here, things that coming to church, even it's like

  541. a force, it's like someone is forced.

  542. If you don't come to church, somebody will say that you

  543. didn't come to church. No, I want you to understand

  544. that that mentality is wrong. The identity that has been given

  545. to you, if you are going to protect that identity, you need

  546. to be present in the House of God.

  547. Your presence in the House of God is very, very important.

  548. Christians are not, you know, we are not just solo journey or we

  549. are not a solo journey. Our identity includes being part

  550. of God's family and the God's family we are talking about is

  551. the church. The God's family we are talking

  552. about is the church. When you don't come to church,

  553. it means you're not part of God's family.

  554. So your identity includes being part of God's family.

  555. So the church community helps you stay accountable and use

  556. your God giving talent. When you don't come to church,

  557. you know each and everyone is giving talents and gifts.

  558. So when you don't come to church, how are you going to

  559. utilize those gifts? I know some of you can sing,

  560. some of you can even preach the gospel.

  561. You can teach. You can when you mount a

  562. platform. In fact, we all stand to salute

  563. your message, but you did not give yourself the opportunity to

  564. do that. Hallelujah.

  565. So this morning I want you to know that coming to church to

  566. learn the Word of God, to be in unity is part of ways to protect

  567. your identity. So you must always be part of

  568. the church Hallelujah. When there is an activities in

  569. the church, make sure you involve, make sure you

  570. participate fully in everything that we do in this church and

  571. therefore you will protect or you'll be able to walk to your

  572. identity that God has given to you.

  573. There are so many things that we can talk about, but let me put

  574. in this you must serve God with purpose.

  575. You have to serve God with purpose.

  576. You don't just come to church like that.

  577. You must serve God with a purpose.

  578. So your identity in Christ, your identity in Christ includes

  579. calling. You were created for purpose to

  580. serve God and others. So this does not always means a

  581. grand mission. It it can be as simple as loving

  582. your neighbor, encouraging friend, and using your skills

  583. for God's works. So when you have any talent,

  584. whatever you have that you think can help someone, please make

  585. sure you put it into use because that is a gift God has given to

  586. you. So when you are able to serve

  587. God with your talents, you are protecting or you are walking

  588. through your identity. Hallelujah.

  589. So and then another thing is resisting false identities and

  590. lies. I am, I am giving you the things

  591. that will help you to walk through your identities.

  592. So you must resist false identities and lies.

  593. So the thief comes. When we read the book of John

    John 10:10

  594. chapter 10 verse 10, it says that the tea comes only to steal

  595. and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have

  596. life. The enemy tries to rob you of

  597. your identity by planting lice, which is true.

  598. You are not good enough sometimes.

  599. That is how we feel. You see, when you allow the

  600. devil to take control over your life, certain things begin to

  601. wind in your mind. He says you are not good enough.

  602. That is, you see why you begin to have these feelings?

  603. You should know that these are the force identities of the

  604. devil. These are the lines of the

  605. devil, that you are not good enough.

  606. No, you are mess up too much. You will never change.

  607. Hallelujah. So these are the force.

  608. These are the force lies of the enemy.

  609. But this morning I want you to know that when you accept Christ

  610. and the identity is being given to you, OK, in order for you to

  611. walk through it, you will see all these things.

  612. But the Bible is saying that when you begin to feel this, you

  613. must know that it is the worst of the enemy.

  614. So but God was tells you that. God tells you the truth, so the

  615. enemy will tell you that you are not good enough, you have messed

  616. up too much, you will never change, but God's Word tells you

  617. the truth. You are forgiven, choosing love,

  618. and secured in Christ. Amen.

  619. Please. Can you please say a very big

  620. Amen to this? So spiritual warfare often

  621. begins in the mind, as I said. So in your mind you begin to

  622. have this things. You must stand firm in your

  623. identity by declaring God's promise.

  624. Amen. So when you begin to have this

  625. thing in your mind, I'm not good enough, I have messed up my own

  626. life has not been forgiven. Begin to repict the devil.

  627. Begin to tell him that you, you are a liar.

  628. I resist you because I have new identity.

  629. That is what you should do as a believer.

  630. Hallelujah. So I am fearfully a wonderful

  631. mate. So the devil will tell when.

  632. When lies gives in, replace them with scripture, for example.

  633. I am worthless. That is why the devil will tell

  634. you you are worthless. But God want me to tell you this

  635. morning that you are fearfully and wonderful mate.

  636. You can say better than that. You can say better than that.

  637. So when society or the world defines you to be W, to be

  638. wordless, the identity that we received through Christ is

  639. saying that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

  640. Amen. So we must reflect Christ to the

  641. world. As I said earlier on, in order

  642. for you to walk through the identities, you must reflect

  643. Christ. Your life must be seen.

  644. People must see you and say, yes, indeed, this is Christ.

  645. You know, one thing I say to myself is that, look, me, I can

  646. stand in front of my house. I can stand in front of my house

  647. and start preaching the gospel. The people that I live with, I

  648. can speak to them poorly because there is nothing for you to talk

  649. about me. I have not.

  650. I have No Fear in me or no shame in me to tell you the good news

  651. or the gospel of Christ. And that is your identity.

  652. That is the identity you have to carry.

  653. So you must reflect Christ. Your life must reflect Christ

  654. everywhere you find yourself. And when you have this, you'll

  655. be able to walk through the identity that God has given to

  656. you. Resting in God's grace.

  657. So I just want to end this by saying that everything that we

  658. are doing in order for us to walk through our identities, we

  659. must rest in God's grace. So let's say my grace is

  660. sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

  661. Hallelujah. Second Corinthians chapter 12,

    2 Corinthians 12:9

  662. verse 9. So you wouldn't always get it

  663. right, but your identity is not based on your performance.

  664. Listen as a believer, you might not, you might not always get it

  665. right, but your identity is not based on your performance.

  666. It is based on ghost and changing Greece.

  667. So whatever we do, it is not by our we cannot just do it on our

  668. on ourself. It's just true the grace of God

  669. that we'll be able to work through.

  670. So when you fall or when you fail or fall shots, return to

  671. God with humility. Hello fellow believers.

  672. An opportunity is given to us that whenever we fall, we must

  673. return to God with humility, His grace, pick us up, restore us,

  674. and remind us of who we are. Hallelujah.

  675. So my final thought is that you and I, we are.

  676. We are who God says we are. Turn and tell your neighbor, I

  677. am who God says I am. I am who God says I am.

  678. So you are who God says you are in Christ.

  679. I want you to point out your friend and say in Christ.

  680. In Christ you are love. In Christ you are love in

  681. Christ. You are chosen in Christ.

  682. You are forgiven in Christ. You are accepted in Christ.

  683. You are an empowered Hallelujah, and in Christ you have you have

  684. been set apart. You are different from the

  685. ordinary. This morning I want you to

  686. recognize your identity and work through it because you are not

  687. just an ordinary person. Please kindly be on your feet as

  688. you pray. Kindly be on your feet as you

  689. pray. Begin to tell God.

  690. Begin to talk to God. Begin to ask God to rewire your

  691. thinking and to re mode your way of doing things and the inside.

  692. To know your real identity you must know your real identity.

  693. You know your real identity. It is very, very difficult for

  694. you to work with God, but when you don't know your real

  695. identity, it becomes so difficult.

  696. So this one I want you to speak to God.

  697. Tell God to help you know what to go by your true identity.

  698. Begin to speak to God. Father, in the name of Jesus,

  699. you have given us the opportunity to become the

  700. children, Your children. You have given us an identity.

  701. Are you understand? Thank you for reminding us what

  702. we should do and who we are of this Jesus.

  703. We bless your Lord you have created and we pray the Lord

  704. will not be able to walk through the Lord and.

  705. You have told us. This privilege is that you will

  706. not be able to do it without you.

  707. To live by your identity, I've got to help you live to your

  708. identity. The.

  709. This morning the word of God has come unto you.

  710. Do you believe it? If you believe it, confess it.

  711. We are the. In the blood of Jesus.

  712. When he was speaking, he said that your body is a temple of

  713. the Holy Spirit. Do you believe it Coming today?

  714. Coming to stay. Shall you be on your feet?

  715. Just sing it in a prayerful mood.

  716. You are ambassadors of Christ. You believe it.

  717. You are ambassadors of Christ. Do you believe it?

  718. Do you believe it this morning to be like Jesus?

  719. All I ask is to be like Jesus. As ambassadors of Christ, we are

  720. expecting to be like Jesus. To Jesus to be like Jesus eyes

  721. to be. Like Jesus, all I ask is to be

  722. like through all I journey from and to glory, All I ask is to be

  723. like He. To be like Jesus.

  724. To be like Jesus, all I ask is to be like true.

  725. All I turn to glory, all I to me like.

  726. You throughout life journey. From back to glory to me like.

  727. You. Spirit of

  728. Jesus. The beauty of.

  729. Jesus. This morning, as the Word of God

  730. has come unto us, I want you to ponder upon the Word of God.

  731. We've been made to understand, to know our real identity.

  732. Do you know it? Do you believe it?

  733. Do you leave it? This morning, God, through His

  734. Word, is trying to remind us of our real identity.

  735. It could be that some of us have forgotten about our real

  736. identity. It could be that some of us are

  737. not leaving our right identity. It could be that some of us

  738. might have forgotten about ourselves.

  739. But this morning turns me to God that through His way, He's

  740. reminding us of who He has made us.

  741. And even as He's reminding us, do you believe it?

  742. You accept it. Shall we humbly resume our

  743. seats? We invite a brother and a sister

  744. to come and pray. A brother and a sister to come

  745. and pray. Of Jesus we see.

  746. Father, we are so grateful to You for Your word that has come

  747. to us this morning. It is a quick reminder of what

  748. we are and who we are. In You we say your name be

  749. glorified forever and ever and ever.

  750. Thank you for reminding us of who we are.

  751. In you we pray in the name of Jesus that if perhaps due to

  752. some reasons we have lost our identity, we pray that by the

  753. grace that is in the name of Jesus, Father, bring

  754. restoration. We pray that Father let us work

  755. in these identities, because without these identities we are

  756. nobody. We thank You for Your word and

  757. we are grateful. Commit the speaker into your

  758. hands that continue to give him more grace to minister Your Word

  759. powerfully in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

  760. Most gracious Lord, we thank You this morning.

  761. We thank you for your word that has come.

  762. Father, Lord, your word makes us understand that when your word

  763. comes, it cleanses. Father, Lord, in any way that we

  764. are falling short of our identity, Father, Lord, as your

  765. word has come, O God Almighty, may you strengthen and help us

  766. in those areas in the name of Jesus.

  767. With our strength, Lord, we will fill.

  768. That is why we have you, Holy Spirit with us.

  769. We pray that may you quicken us once more.

  770. May you quicken us once more, Lord Jesus, that we will be like

  771. you, that we will reflect you in all our endeavors wherever we

  772. go. In the mighty name of Jesus,

  773. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we bless your name.

  774. In Jesus name, Amen. Hallelujah this morning we are

  775. blessed and I want us to stretch forth our hands and bless our

  776. elder order. God bless you and more.
