-
We thank God so much for how far he has brought us without much.
-
I do. I want you to welcome the person
-
sitting beside you. Please welcome someone.
-
Welcome someone, welcome someone.
-
We are about to listen to the Word of God.
-
You are welcome to escapade to English assembly with a club of
-
friendless invite our presiding elder, Elder Michael Wooley.
-
To give us the word and all die, change, try and find we
-
joyfully. The.
-
Of our salvation, head on, head on the Church, try our fight,
-
rejoice fully, hardly to die. The and rise along that leads to
-
God that raise our heart and grow and leads to God that
-
raise. Praise the Lord, I said, Praise
-
the Lord, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
-
This morning, if you are here, I want you to be grateful unto the
-
Lord. So I would say, praise the Lord
-
and you keep your mouth shut. It means you are ungrateful unto
-
the Lord. But if the Lord has made it
-
possible for you to be among the living this morning, you have
-
every cause to praise the Lord. Hallelujah and you have to
-
praise the Lord with all your parts, including your mouth.
-
So I always say praise the Lord if I were you are weaving jump
-
and say Hallelujah, praise the Lord and that is one of the
-
means we show our gratitude on to the Lord.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
This morning I prepared a message entitled Your Mandates,
-
Your Mandates. But as soon as I enter this
-
auditorium in the Holy Spirit, give me a new message to preach.
-
But one thing I want you to understand this morning is that
-
if you are here, you have been saved.
-
You have been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ.
-
It is for a purpose. The Bible says no one can come
-
unto him until he calls you. So whenever the Lord calls you,
-
the Lord has a reason why he calls you.
-
The reason why God called me is to give me eternal life.
-
The reason why God called you is to give you eternal life, but
-
apart from the eternal life that God wants to give unto us, each
-
person that God calls, He gives him or her a mandate.
-
And it is very important as a child of God to know your
-
mandates. When God called you, what
-
mandates did He give to you this morning?
-
If you don't know your mandates, I pray in the name of Jesus that
-
you will ask of Him and He will show you your mandates.
-
Praise the Lord, I said praise the Lord.
-
When I say praise the Lord and don't respond, I'll come there.
-
I'm preaching with you and that is what shows that you are
-
following what I'm saying. I remember very well when this
-
English assembly was created and then I was chosen to be the
-
presiding elder of a truth. I was interested and I did not
-
want to become a leader because of one or two reasons.
-
But somewhere, somehow, God spoke to me and God gave me a
-
mandate. God told me the reason why I
-
should be the presiding order. And some of the things that the
-
Lord told me I've already shared with you.
-
So as I stand here and as I'm in this local assembly, I know my
-
mandates, Praise the Lord. So what?
-
It means that whatever assignment God gives unto you,
-
including the reason why God has called you there, should be a
-
mandate. And when you know the mandate,
-
you need to be focused. And when you are focused,
-
nothing can distract you. Amen.
-
Amen. This morning I want to speak to
-
the topic the Church of God, The Church of God, the Church of
-
God. When we talk about the Church of
-
God, we are talking about the extension of God's Kingdom on
-
the earth. The church represents the
-
Kingdom of God on earth. So whenever we talk about the
-
Church of God, we are talking about the Kingdom of God.
-
Hello. So I all you sit there, I
-
standing here representing the Church of God, we coming
-
together collectively to represent the Church of God.
-
We are the extension of God's Kingdom on this earth.
-
So this one, and I want you to understand that you are not an
-
ordinary person. So long as it is the Lord who
-
has called you, then you are an extension of God's Kingdom on
-
this earth. And when we talk about the
-
extension of God's Kingdom on this earth, we are talking about
-
what an ambassador, praise the Lord.
-
So this morning, I am not an ordinary person.
-
You may choose to be an ordinary person, but for me, knowing my
-
mandate, knowing the fact that it is he who has called me.
-
And if you also know that it is he who has called you, that is
-
1. And I want you to believe within
-
your hearts. I want you to believe within
-
your hearts that you are not an ordinary person.
-
Amen. So I read the book of John,
-
chapter 3, verse 16, which says that for God so loved the world
-
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in
-
Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
-
What it means is that the purpose for which He has called
-
you, the purpose for which He has called me, the purpose for
-
which He has made me His ambassador, the purpose for
-
which He has made you His ambassador, is to enable you
-
inherit eternal life. Praise the Lord, whoever,
-
whoever. So what it means is that He has
-
opened His doors to everybody, people from different
-
background, different society, that whoever believes in him who
-
have an eternal life. So what it means is that it
-
doesn't matter where you are coming from.
-
Recently, the President of the Republic of Ghana appointed some
-
some people to to to represent him in other countries.
-
And among the many people in Ghana, some few were privileged
-
to be selected. When we talk about ambassadorial
-
position, it is not easy to be appointed.
-
So if God through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ has
-
selected you to be His ambassador, then I want you to
-
know that you are a privileged person.
-
Praise the Lord, I'm saying all these things so that you know
-
who you are at times. We work within the church, we
-
work on this planet earth as if we have no aim, as if we don't
-
know who we are. But this morning I'm here to
-
challenge someone. I'm here to remind someone of
-
your identity about the fact that you are the Church of God.
-
Amen. So when Paul was speaking in
-
First Corinthians chapter one verse 18, he said for the
-
message of the cross is foolishness to those who are
-
perishing, the message of the cross is foolishness to those
-
who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power
-
of God. How can you tell me that?
-
Because Jesus died on the cross, someone has died so many years
-
ago, about 2000 years plus. How can you tell me that for the
-
fact that you have faith in Him, you believe in Him, and you
-
accept Him, you are saved. How can you understand this with
-
your human mind? And so Paul is saying that this
-
message we are talking about, it is foolishness unto those who
-
are perishing. So what it means is that this
-
message can never be sensible to you if you are perishing, but to
-
those who are saved, it is the power of God.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
This morning it is my prayer that you believe in the message
-
of the cross and that I will believe in the message of cross.
-
And as you believe and I believe, the Bible is saying
-
that this message is the power of God unto us.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
You could see that the main reason why Jesus came unto this
-
earth is to come and save mankind from his sin and
-
reconcile man back unto God. And so when you read scripture,
-
the Bible is saying that when Jesus came, he called men unto
-
himself, He called his disciples.
-
And you could see that the disciples that Jesus called unto
-
himself, they came from different backgrounds, showing
-
that Jesus is interested in all people from different
-
backgrounds, from different race, from different what?
-
From different, different. Whatever you can mention, Amen.
-
There are some of us. Should we consider where we are
-
coming from? It is not even, it cannot be
-
located on the map of Ghana. Should we consider the kind of
-
family we are coming from? We are far from the gospel
-
message. We are not qualified to be
-
called children of God. Should we consider where we are
-
coming from? But God has interest in us.
-
God has interest in us. So you could see that after
-
Jesus has brought his assignment on this edge to a completion and
-
Bible is saying that he was killed and then he asked the
-
disciples to go and wait. And the disciples waited and
-
they received the promise which is the Holy Spirit.
-
The Bible is saying that that is way and how the church was
-
birthed. Amen.
-
Why the church? Why the church?
-
The church was birthed to represent the Kingdom of God on
-
this earth. The church was birth to promote
-
the agenda of Jesus Christ. The church was birthed to
-
represent Jesus Christ on this earth.
-
And so you could see that when the church was birthed, the
-
Bible is saying that the apostles taught the people who
-
came to the saving knowledge of Christ and day in, day out the
-
church, and I want you continue reading Bible is saying that as
-
a result of the kind of life these people lived, the
-
weatherly people named them Christians, which means
-
followers of Christ, Amen. So the weatherly people
-
recognize them as living same life, being an example of Jesus
-
Christ. Amen.
-
So when we talk about the church, we are talking about the
-
Kingdom of God. Jesus is gone.
-
Jesus is in heaven. The Bible is saying that he's
-
gone to the Father. But the church represent the
-
Kingdom of God on this earth. And So what it means is that
-
Jesus has his people, Jesus has his, his men and women on this
-
earth who are representing him. Hello.
-
So Jesus is expecting that I be in His church, you be in His
-
church. I will be His representative.
-
You be His representative. Jesus is looking up unto you.
-
Jesus is looking up unto me. Why?
-
Because He has saved me. Why?
-
Because He has delivered me from the Kingdom of darkness, and He
-
has brought us into the Kingdom of His light.
-
Amen. But let's just take note of
-
this. As I already said, the church is
-
the Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of God is open to all
-
kinds of people, all kinds of people from different
-
backgrounds. If I should give all of us the
-
opportunity to say or to testify how we came to the serving
-
knowledge of Christ, we all have different stories to tell.
-
Someone would say my grandmother was sick and she accepted the
-
Lord Jesus Christ, or she she was miraculously healed and she
-
accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. And as a result of that, all her
-
children were saved. And the children, the children's
-
children are saved. Everybody has a story.
-
My whatever your story, my story may be, I want you to understand
-
this morning that when we talk about the Church of God, the
-
Church of God is the community of God which has embraced all
-
kinds of people. When we talk about all kinds of
-
people, we are talking about good people.
-
When we talk about all kinds of people, we are talking about bad
-
people. When we talk about all kinds of
-
people, we are talking about evil people.
-
And to give you a typical example, our Lord himself, when
-
he was doing ministry and he called the disciples unto
-
himself, there was one, There was one who was evil.
-
Praise the Lord. Did Jesus not know that Judas
-
will betray him? You could see that Jesus did
-
ministry with all of them. And so this morning I want you
-
to understand that as we belong to the Church of God, as we have
-
been called into the Kingdom of God, we are all from different
-
backgrounds. And I also want you to
-
understand that in the church we have good people.
-
And I also want you to understand that in the church we
-
have bad people. And I also want you to
-
understand that in the church we have evil people.
-
Someone say knowledge is power. Until you know this, you don't
-
know how to live in a church. Praise the Lord.
-
And you see, it is God himself who calls all of these people.
-
It is God himself who called Judas.
-
You think if Jesus had not called Judas, Judas could have
-
worked with Jesus to the point that he had an appointment, to
-
the point that he had an appointment.
-
Hello. So one of the things I've come
-
to realize is that when we talk about the Church of God, which
-
is the extension of God's Kingdom on this earth, I've also
-
come to realize that the church is like a hospital.
-
The hospital is there for everyone.
-
When you come in, you'll be treated.
-
When you come in, you'll be prescribed medication.
-
What? The medication is prescribed for
-
you? You can choose to take the
-
medication. You can choose to throw the
-
medication somewhere. Praise the Lord.
-
But the fact that you failed to take your medication doesn't
-
change the hospital. The hospital remains the
-
hospital. We who have the privilege to be
-
called as leaders of God's church, I'm saying we who have
-
the privilege to become leaders of God's church, The reason why
-
I'm saying this is because it is a privilege.
-
Now we need not to take for granted God is looking up on to
-
us that we will prescribe the unadulterated word of God unto
-
His people and the keyword here is the unadulterated word of
-
God. When we prescribe the
-
unadulterated Word of God, we are delivering our mandates and
-
those of you who have the privilege and the opportunity to
-
listen to the leaders of God, God is expecting that.
-
As we prescribe, as we teach, as we preach the unadulterated Word
-
of God, God is expecting that you will take it.
-
Failure to take it. We have done our part.
-
Hello, God is expecting that we will pray in this church.
-
So that church being the hospital, we are supposed to
-
preach the word of God. We are supposed to pray and we
-
are supposed to receive the failing of the Holy Ghost.
-
So these are the kind of medication we are supposed to
-
receive from the Church. And when we are receiving this
-
medication and we take our treatment seriously, then what
-
it means is that we are fulfilling the mandates of the
-
Church. Failure to do that, we are not
-
fulfilling the mandates. Amen.
-
And you see, and as we preach the unadulterated Word of God,
-
what we are also doing is that we are sowing seeds.
-
As we preach the unadulterated Word of God, we are sowing seed.
-
That is the only thing we can do.
-
But for the seed to grow, for the seed to germinate, it will
-
take the Holy Spirit. Amen.
-
And this brings to mind the parable of the sewer.
-
Maybe I'll read briefly. Should I read?
-
OK, I'm reading from Matthew chapter 13, verse 1 to 11.
-
That same day, Jesus went out of the house and sat by the leak.
-
Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a
-
boot and sat in it while all the people stood on the shore.
-
Then he told them many things in parables, saying a farmer went
-
out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed,
-
some fell along the path and the bears came and ate it up.
-
Some fell on rocky places where it did not have much soil.
-
It sprung up quickly because the soil was shallow, but when the
-
sun came up, the plants were scorched and they withered
-
because they had no roots. Other seed fell among tongs
-
which grew up and chopped the plants.
-
So other seed fell on good sale, where it produced a crop 160 or
-
30 times what what was sold? Whoever has ears LED them here.
-
The disciples came to him and asked, Why do you speak to the
-
people in parables? He replied, Because the
-
knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven has been given
-
to you, but not to them. Verse 11 He replied, because the
-
knowledge of the secret of the Kingdom of heaven has been given
-
to you, but not to them, praise the Lord.
-
So those of us who have their privilege to belong to their
-
church, what it means is that we are privileged to receive the
-
secret of the Kingdom, and the secret of the Kingdom is the
-
word of God. The secret of the Kingdom is the
-
word of God. So what it also means is that as
-
we preach, as we teach the word of God, from the parable that
-
Jesus said, you could see that Jesus himself who is the all
-
knowing God, this is a parable, he said.
-
So what it means is that when you are a leader or you are a
-
child of God and you preach the gospel, you preach the word of
-
God and it is not yielding the result you are looking for.
-
Don't worry yourself, keep on keeping because Jesus himself
-
from the parable that he said, he's saying that when the
-
message was preached, some fell on the path soil, some fell on
-
the rocky soil, some fell on the toy Tony soil, and some fell on
-
the good soil. And all these soils are in the
-
Church of God. Praise the Lord.
-
But Jesus is saying that for us, for us, for us, because the
-
knowledge of the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven has been given
-
to you, but not them. Now we talk about the knowledge
-
of the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven.
-
We are talking about the Word of God.
-
And so, beloved, I want to stand upon the Word of God and
-
encourage someone, Do not let the message we preach unto you
-
go wasted. Hello.
-
In fact, look at her brother and sister and tell him, do not let
-
the message we preach to you go wasted.
-
You see, when I started, I said the Kingdom of God is the
-
extension of God's Kingdom on this earth.
-
And when you read scriptures, the Bible, when Jesus was about
-
to depart, he said he will come back.
-
Jesus will come back. Whether you believe it or not,
-
Jesus will come back. And that is what should be very
-
interesting to us. When Jesus comes back, what will
-
be our stand? From one of the scriptures we
-
use for our annual team, Ephesians chapter 5.
Ephesians 5 chapter mention
-
Maybe let me start from verse 21.
-
Ephesians chapter 5, verse 21. Submit to one another out of
-
reverence to Christ for Christ. Wives, submit yourself to your
-
husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of
-
the wife, as Christ is the head of the church, his body of which
-
he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to
-
Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in
-
everything. Please shall we read the verse
-
24 together? Ready go.
-
Amen. Let me continue, husbands, love
-
your wives, just as Christ loved the church, and gave Himself up
-
for her to make her holy cleansing, to make her holy
-
cleansing her by the washing with water through the wade, and
-
to present her to himself as a radiant church, without sting or
-
wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
-
Amen. So Christ is expecting that as
-
His Church we shall submit ourselves to Him, because we are
-
his bride. And then the last portion, maybe
-
let me repeat it, he said, husbands love your wives, just
-
as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her to make her
-
holy. So that here Paul is trying to
-
explain the reason why Christ gave himself is to make the
-
church holy. So if Christ are not giving
-
himself, the church can never be holy.
-
So the holiness we are talking about does not come from our
-
strength, but it comes from the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus
-
Christ. Praise the Lord, cleansing her
-
by the washing with water through the weight.
-
So the Word of God cleanses us. The Word of God purifies us.
-
So what do you belong to the church?
-
And we preach the word to you, and you refuse to take the
-
weight, and you are in the church.
-
How can you be cleansed when we preach the Word to you and you
-
are in the church and you refuse to take the weight?
-
How can you be washed? And then when he continues and
-
to present to himself, So you could see that all these things
-
we are enumerating, we are enumerating is not out of our
-
own efforts. And we are talking about pure
-
grease and the end of the matter, the end of it all.
-
His aim is to present her to himself, to present the church
-
to himself as a radiant church without steam.
-
So what it means is that when God called you, when God called
-
me into the church, God knows. God knows that we are full of
-
steam. Hello, God knows that we are
-
full of steam, but He has brought us into the Kingdom.
-
He has brought us into the church.
-
For what? For which purpose?
-
To wash us, to clean us, and at the end of the day to present us
-
unto Himself. So this one.
-
And if you are here, I want you to understand that God has
-
brought you into the church to clean you, to wash you and
-
present you unto himself. So if you are here and we are
-
preaching the gospel to you all the time, and you are not taking
-
the gospel, we are preaching the gospel unto you all the time.
-
And you put the gospel somewhere and you live your life as if you
-
are independent. You owe yourself.
-
Yes, you are in the church, but that is not the reason why God
-
brought you into the church. To present her to himself as a
-
radiant church without stain or wrinkle or any blemish or any
-
blemish. So what it means is that when
-
one is called into the church, it is assumed that you have
-
blemish. When one is called into the
-
church, it is assumed that you are not holy, you are not real,
-
but by the invitation or by you, 100 the invitation coming to the
-
church, the reason why you are brought into the church and is
-
for you to be transformed, to be transformed.
-
And then the last part says, But holy and blameless, holy and
-
blameless, praise the Lord. So this morning the Lord who has
-
called us, has called us for a purpose.
-
When you read the book of Revelations, Chapter 9, verse 9,
-
Revelations 9 verse 9, then the Angel said to me, write this,
-
blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of
-
the Lamb, of the Lamb. And he added, these are the true
-
ways of God. Blessed are those who are
-
invited to the wedding supper of the lamb.
-
Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of
-
the lamb. While we are talking about those
-
who have been invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb, we
-
are talking about those who have been saved, who has been washed,
-
who have been purified, who have been sanctified by the blood of
-
Jesus. So this morning, if you are here
-
and you have been saved, the Bible is saying that you are
-
blessed. The reason why you are blessed
-
is because you have been invited to the supper of the Lamb.
-
And then when you read Revelations 22, verse 7,
-
Revelations 22, seven, look, I am coming soon.
-
Blessed is the one who keeps the ways of the prophecy written in
-
the school. Look, I am coming soon.
-
Blessed is the one who keeps the ways of the prophecy written in
-
this group. If I want to reverse it or read
-
it otherwise, look, I am coming soon.
-
Guess is the one who refuses or who does not keep the ways of
-
the prophecy. Hello.
-
So what it means is that any person who keeps the ways of the
-
prophecy, which stands for the word of God, any person who
-
obeys the word of God, the Bible is saying that that person is
-
blessed. So what it means is that God is
-
expressing that the church that is you and I will keep the word
-
of the prophecy. And when we keep it, the Bible
-
is saying that we are blessed. So what happens to those who
-
does not keep the word of the prophecy?
-
Amen, Amen. And then when you read the book
-
of Matthew chapter 25 Jesus book another parable there Matthew
Matthew 25 chapter mention Matthew 25 chapter mention
-
chapter 25 verse one down was at that time the Kingdom of heaven
-
will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps went out to meet the
-
bridegroom. Do not forget that the church is
-
liking to the Kingdom of heaven. Do not forget that the church is
-
an extension of God's Kingdom on this earth.
-
Matthew 25. At that time the Kingdom of
-
heaven will be like 10 virgins who took the alamps and went out
-
to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and
-
five were wise. The foolish ones took their
-
lamps but did not take any oil with them.
-
The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
-
The bridegroom was a long time in coming and they all became
-
drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight the cry rang out.
-
Here is the bridegroom come out to meet him.
-
Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
-
The foolish ones said to the wise, give us some of your oil,
-
our lamps are going out. No, they replied.
-
There may not be enough for both of us and you instead go to
-
those who sell oil and busy sorry and buy some for
-
yourselves. But while they were on their way
-
to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived.
-
The virgins who were ready went in with him and went in with him
-
to the wedding banquets, and the door was shut.
-
Later the artists also came. Lord, Lord, he said, open the
-
door for us. But he replied, truly, I tell
-
you, I don't know you, therefore keep watch because you do not
-
know the day or the hour. Amen.
-
I will share the rumor I received in this parable with
-
you. You could see that the Bible
-
describes 5 of the virgins are foolish and then five as wise.
-
And the virgins knew. The virgins knew that the
-
bridegroom was coming. They knew.
-
The ten of them knew that the bridegroom was coming.
-
One of the lessons we can learn here is that the ten of them had
-
the same time to wait. The ten of them were in the same
-
place. What it means is that the ten of
-
them had the opportunity to hear whatever they needed to hear as
-
they were awaiting the bridegroom.
-
Praise the Lord. And then one of the remor I
-
received, in fact, let me let me put it this way, somewhere last
-
week something happened and then I was thinking about the whole
-
thing. It's happened in the church.
-
And then I was asking myself a lot of questions.
-
In fact, I wasn't happy. So when I entered the bathroom
-
and I was baffing, I was baffing and then I was worried.
-
And then I was asking a lot of questions within my mind.
-
And then I heard a voice telling me, Masa, have you taken your
-
medication this morning? I asked myself, what medication?
-
And then he said, well, read your Bible and pray.
-
If you take your medication, you do not be worried about these
-
days, praise the Lord. And the understanding I got from
-
this is that as people of God, as children of God, if we should
-
take, do not forget that I have already said that the church is
-
like a hospital. It doesn't matter.
-
You can be a leader or whatever you we are all in the hospital.
-
God is working on us day in day out through the word hello.
-
And so the explanation I receive is that should I pray and so.
-
I. Forgot all those worries.
-
I cannot do anything about it. All those worries, you cannot do
-
anything about it. The only person who can do
-
something about it is the owner of the church.
-
Praise the Lord. And then it went further.
-
And you see the reason why I was worried about, you know, I have
-
mentioned here that one time God told me, I will reveal
-
everything to you. I will show you everything
-
within the church but do not utter a word.
-
So at times when I see some of the things I want to talk, I
-
want to speak, but I will be instructed do not talk and you
-
won't say I'm a human being. I want to talk and the
-
instruction is do not talk. So one that didn't happen like
-
that, the reason why I was worried is because I want to
-
talk. Is it the only way to control
-
me? The only way to control the
-
believer to do the will of God is to read your Bible and pray,
-
praise the Lord. And so after I did that, I
-
realized that I became relieved and then I got another
-
explanation. The other explanation that came
-
is that the reason why someone will belong to the Church of God
-
and be worried. Be worried idea how is because
-
you don't take your medication. If you take your medication, if
-
you take the word of God and if you pray, you have the inner
-
conviction that God is in control.
-
You have the inner conviction that God rules.
-
So when you have this inner conviction, when you come to the
-
presence of God, you dance and you do everything as if nothing
-
happens because He is in charge. My work, your work is to come
-
and worship Him. Praise the Lord.
-
Because he lives. Oh yeah, he's gone.
-
So let me announce here that if we are in the Church of open the
-
door for us. But he replied, Truly, I tell
-
you, I don't know you, brethren, don't waste your time in the
-
church. What will be the essence of you
-
coming to church? Coming to church on Sundays and
-
at the end of the day, you will not inherit, you will not go to
-
heaven. What will be the essence of it?
-
You would have wasted your time, just like the foolish virgins
-
wasted their time. They called him all right, Lord.
-
Yes, he is Lord. They called him.
-
What it means is that they knew they knew him.
-
They knew him. They know that his name is the
-
Lord. They know that he is the Lord.
-
So you may be in the church. You may know the Lord all right.
-
Therefore, keep watch because you do not know the day or the
-
hour. Amen.
-
Maybe the last scripture I will mention I will not read John
John 13 chapter mention
-
chapter 13 verse one to five. John chapter 13 verse one to
John 13 chapter mention
-
five. You could see that when Jesus
-
came to do ministry on earth and then he was bringing his
-
assignment on earth to an end and he was preparing to go and
-
dine with his disciples. The Bible is saying that from
-
the Scripture, if you go home you read, but he talks about
-
Jesus washing the feet of his disciples.
-
And then Jesus instructed that we should do this in remembrance
-
of him. That is the church, that the
-
church all the time we shall dine.
-
And so when we are dining, when we are taking the Lord Supper,
-
we are taking the body of Christ and the blood of Christ.
-
We are doing it in remembrance of him.
-
But what I want us to learn here this morning is that you could
-
see that before the Lord Supper or before they, they went to the
-
table. Jesus who was the master, He
-
went so long and then he washed the disciples feet.
-
He went so long and then he washed the disciples.
-
What can we learn here? Jesus was trying to portray to
-
the disciples that before you come to my table, you need to
-
humble yourself. Before you come to the table,
-
you need to cleanse yourself. Before you come to my table, you
-
need to purify yourself. We cleanse ourselves as I've
-
mentioned already with the word of God.
-
We come with all humility. We come to the table with a
-
loving hearts. Hello.
-
You can remember that when Jesus says he washed the disciples
-
feet, Peter said no Lord Peter resisted by the long run, he
-
gave up. And that is what at times some
-
of us does as the one you read First Corinthians 11/23
-
downwards which says that many of you are dead and sick.
-
It's because of the way and the manner in which we come to the
-
lost table. Some of us, we come to the lost
-
table unprepared. The reason why one week is set
-
aside is because it is scriptural.
-
The Bible says that we have to come to the the lost table well
-
prepared. How do we prepare ourselves?
-
We prepare ourselves through prayer.
-
We prepare ourselves through the word of God.
-
And so when we declare one week lost supper week, what we do as
-
a church is that we are praying, we are committing ourselves into
-
the hands of the Lord. We are we are washing ourselves
-
with the blood of Jesus through the Word.
-
And so before when you're able to do all these things and you
-
come and you take the law supper and to have effect on you and
-
those who do that, I can say they belong to the wise group.
-
Hello. But those who belong to the
-
foolish group, they don't prepare in any way, yet they
-
will come. May the Lord have mercy this
-
morning. Which group do you belong to?
-
When I read scripture, Bible says some time ago King David
-
took someone's wife and then God sent his prophet to go and
-
admonish him. And the Bible says that when the
-
prophet went, he spoke to the king in parable, and the king
-
did not know that he was the one the prophet was talking about.
-
So when the king had brought out his comments, and then the
-
prophet said, you are the one I'm talking about this morning
-
as the word of God has come unto you, as the word of God has come
-
unto you. And one thing I want you to
-
understand this morning is that the way I preach, the way I
-
speak is part of my mandates. Hello.
-
It is part of my mandates. Yeah, that I was asking, Lord,
-
why you told me. I have big men and big women in
-
my church. I have a friend and say
-
politicians. I have business tycoons.
-
Where are they? And he said, Oh my, no.
-
What do you want? You just pick the weight this
-
morning. What I received from the Lord is
-
what I have delivered unto you. Amen.
-
Shall we be on our feet? Just by die your head and
-
contemplates on the word of God you have had this morning?
-
Just by die your head and contemplates on the word of God
-
you have had. Father, let me call thee.
-
Father is your child. Return to thee.
-
Lord of mercy and compassion, look with thee upon me.
-
Father, let me call thee. Father, here's your child,
-
return to thee. Jesus.
-
Lord, I must go. Mercy, let me know ye blow ye
-
all my sins. I now never will I seen again
-
Jesus Lord I am for mercy. Let me know Him blowing me all
-
my sins. We are.
-
Praying, thanking the Lord for the mercy that He has given unto
-
us. I want you to.
-
Open your mouth and thank the Lord for the revelation that He
-
has revealed unto us this morning.
-
Thank the Lord for the machines. Father, we thank you for the
-
revelation that you refer unto your church, Lord, that the
-
Church of God, what we are supposed to do, the rule that we
-
are supposed to belong. Father, we thank you, Lord, for
-
the message that you have given unto us.
-
Bless you Lord, we bless you, Lord.
-
What you've done for the masses that you have given on to us
-
this morning, we take you, Lord, the Father called us to know the
-
way that we are working. We thank you, Lord.
-
We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for this.
-
Thank you. We bless you, Lord.
-
We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.
-
We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.
-
People of God. This morning.
-
The Lord is in our mess and the Lord has been said.
-
You'll be thinking that it is presiding that has said what
-
he's supposed to say, but I believe that it is the law that
-
is speaking to Him. And you want us to change
-
certain things in our lives. This morning I want you to
-
surrender unto the Lord. He talk about the two groups,
-
whether you are for the wise or for you are for the foolish
-
group. And this morning I want you to
-
surrender unto the Lord that a father have come to you.
-
If I belong to the foolish group, father, forgive me and
-
I'm repenting of my sins. This is what we have to say unto
-
our Lord this morning. Talk to God, surrender to God.
-
Leave a suryapa. We've come to you, Lord.
-
Father, We surrender unto you the Father.
-
Whatever we've done against your will, Father, we pray that you
-
forgive us, Lord. Mary belong to thy wife group.
-
Mary belong to the foolish group Lord.
-
Pray the Father you forgive us all if you've done anything
-
against your will. Lord Mother.
-
Forgive us Lord, and bless us. We surrender all to you.
-
Lord, our Father, forgive us. Our Father help us.
-
Lord, we are praying once again when our presiding was speaking,
-
all that I could understand is that he want us to refresh
-
Christ, or say you, whoever had any and nothing and normal soul,
-
by not doing our own thing, but we representing Christ, we
-
representing God on it, that his character will be seen in us,
-
that we will not live a certain kind of life and come and stand
-
here and pretend unto God. This is what we are praying this
-
morning, that may we refresh Christ in whatever that we do,
-
our character that alone, may the Lord change it and Mary
-
refresh Christ. Prayer to God we pray Lord, and
-
Mary refresh you, Lord. There are certain characters in
-
US, Lord, that are not from you, Lord.
-
We pray the Father take it away and Mary refresh you, Christ,
-
Lord, that are not from you, Lord, take it away and may we
-
refresh you, Lord. May our character, Lord be like
-
you, Lord. May we love your taste, Lord.
-
May we do your works, Lord. May we obey you, Lord.
-
May we serve you, Lord. We pray for this character's
-
Lord to be like you Lord, and act like you
-
wrong. The.
-
We are praying once again. Sometimes our oil runs dry
-
because we use our own strength. There are certain things that we
-
are supposed to do for gold that we are not doing.
-
When our presiding was speaking, he was talking about certain
-
things about gossiping you now you know your life, you know the
-
things that you have been doing. I know mine.
-
But we are coming to the Lord telling what are this is a
-
gospel. This is the Lord Supper and we
-
telling what? The Father, we've come to you as
-
we are coming to dining with you.
-
There are certain things in us which I'm not reflecting You
-
Christ, we've come to you, Lord the Father.
-
Take it away and help us to reflect you.
-
Christ, this is our player. Let's shanada badaba laba
-
suryana badaba. Father, we've come.
-
To you. Lord, you know that we are doing
-
that. I'm not reflecting you, Lord,
-
that we have been doing that. Our Lord, Father, reflect to
-
you. We are praying this morning.
-
The Father help us as we standing with you.
-
Lord, we pray the Father take it away.
-
We pray the Father take it away. Because we
-
are not coming close to you.
-
People. Of God, if you we really want to
-
be like Christ, see a person, you get to say Jesus Christ.
-
There's one thing that our Poseidon said I like so much.
-
We must humble ourselves and this is the Spirit of God.
-
When you don't have this spirit of God to humble yourself, there
-
are certain things that God will tell you.
-
But you will. Not do.
-
There are certain things that our leaders are going to tell us
-
because we don't have this humble spirit.
-
Do not listen to them, but we are praying this morning that
-
that may the Lord pour his spirit upon us.
-
A humble spirit, a humble spirit to hear from God, a humble
-
spirit to listen to God, a humble spirit to obey God.
-
Open your mouth and pray for the spirit.
-
Liba surya na daba daba daba. We pray for humble spirit.
-
Lord the Father, God has a humble spirit to listen to you,
-
Lord, to obey you, Lord, spirit, Lord, upon your church, the
-
Father, we are going to hear from you and obey you.
-
Lord, we are going to hear from you, Lord, and obey our leaders.
-
Father, we pray for this humanity spirit that will live
-
upon your charter. May we humble ourselves, Lord,
-
may we humble ourselves. Lord and Father, rely on you and
-
do what you have said we should do.
-
Your presence I come. We are not opening this can see
-
light Your glory transform me to Christ.
-
Your sound I come. Oh my God bless me.
-
When we were praying, I heard a voice which is saying that many
-
of us speak against the Church of God, many of us speak against
-
the people of God, and as a result of that we are paying the
-
consequence. But the same voice is saying
-
that if you surrender, I will heal you this morning.
-
The Lord knows me and the Lord knows me.
-
But the good thing is that it is the Lord who has called you.
-
For what reason has He called you?
-
He has called to work on us. So this morning, no matter how
-
you are, I want you to surrender unto Him.
-
We are singing the same song. When we are done, I will stand
-
in and pray. If you don't know the lyrics,
-
look at the lyrics and sing along And I should be our
-
prayer. We don't want to stand in the
-
presence of God with a hypocritical life.
-
When we say just as we are, we have come.
-
What it means is that God knows all our weaknesses and therefore
-
we have come before you with our weaknesses.
-
God, touch me, reveal yourself unto me.
-
Your your presence I come. We are not all in place gazing
-
out your glory. Transform into Christ, your son.
-
I can't. Oh my God bless me.
-
Oh my God, Oh my God bless me. If you can't raise your two
-
hands as a sign of surrounding unto him.
-
If you can't raise your two hands.
-
The Lord is. Yours since I come with our own
-
living faith, kissing as your glory transform into Christ,
-
your Son, I come. Oh my God bless me.
-
Oh my God, Oh my God bless. Me, oh Lord, our God, the Master
-
of the universe, the all knowing God, the creator of humanity,
-
this morning You know everything.
-
We come before you just as we are.
-
We have had your word. Your word is able to clean us.
-
Your word is able to purify us. Your word is able to sanctify
-
us, Your word is able to heal us.
-
And therefore this morning I stand in the cup and I intercede
-
for your church. Lord, may you be merciful unto
-
us. Lord, may you be gracious unto
-
us and let your wait transform our lives in Jesus mighty name,
-
Amen.
