-
Amen. I'm grateful to the Almighty God
-
and I want to thank my husband and the entire Escape Baidu
-
English Assembly Presbytery and for giving me this great
-
opportunity to share the Word of God with you.
-
Hallelujah. As as we all know, we've
-
gathered here for a special reason, and that is to
-
appreciate our offices. So once again, I would like us
-
to give a round of applause to our officers.
-
I want them to humbly rise on their feet.
-
Our officers, please humbly rise on your feet.
-
Yes, and let's bless them. Let's bless them too.
-
Please. You can sit, be steadfast and
-
immovable, abounding in the works of the Lord.
-
Your labor won't be in fame, and your reward will be great.
-
Hallelujah your. Labor won't.
-
Be in fame. And your.
-
Reward will be great. Hallelujah.
-
Beast and a moveable. OK,
-
there is this song in I Can and I also want to sing it Ofre Yeah
-
ofre Chron Chrome of Sorrow, Frey.
-
Now they are Freya. Hallelujah.
-
I would like to say for the fact that being an officer of this
-
church is not an easy task, as we've all said.
-
But on the other hand, it's a great privilege and an honor to
-
be chosen by God, Hallelujah. After I told my message, your
-
labor will not be in vain. Your, your labor will not be in
-
vain. And this message is to encourage
-
all our offices, our able offices, and to also encourage
-
our members to do something in the House of God.
-
Hallelujah. So our key test is taken from
-
First Corinthians chapter 15, verse 58.
-
First Corinthians chapter 15, verse 58.
-
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always
-
abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour
-
is not in vain in the Lord. I want to repeat, therefore, my
-
beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in
-
the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain.
-
Hallelujah. So I want to look at the
-
background of this chapter. First Corinthians chapter 15,
1 Corinthians 15 chapter mention
-
verse one. No, First Corinthians chapter
1 Corinthians 15 chapter mention
-
15, yes. Want to know the background.
-
The one who wrote this First Corinthians is Apostle Paul, and
-
he wrote to the church in Corinth that is current.
-
It's a it's a large Greek city known for trade, wealth, and
-
they were so much immoral. So the purpose of this letter
-
was to correct the divisions among them, the moral problems
-
and the confusion. They had confusion about
-
Christian doctrine, especially resurrection.
-
So the church in Corinth, they had many questions and some
-
confusions about life after death.
-
So some thought only the soul matters and the body will not be
-
raised. Some people also even doubted,
-
say, is there any resurrection at all?
-
So Paul addressed the believers who are doubting the future
-
resurrection of the dead, that Jesus Christ died.
-
Jesus Christ died and he was buried and he rose again and
-
appeared to many witnesses. So truly Jesus rose from the
-
death. And because Jesus lives, we
-
believers will also be raised to eternal life.
-
Hallelujah. So from verse 12 to verse 35,
-
Paul argued that if Christ is rising, believers will also rise
-
and from verse 50 to 57 that is First Corinthians chapter 50,
-
chapter 15, verse 50 to 57. He also explained that death is
-
swallowed up in victory through Jesus Christ and he said thanks
-
be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
-
Hallelujah. So in verse 58, that is so after
-
celebrating the setting victory over there, Paul gives a
-
practical conclusion that therefore, my beloved brethren,
-
be steadfast, immovable, always abounding the work of the Lord,
-
knowing that your lab is not in vain.
-
So Paul meant that since Jesus rose from the dead and is alive,
-
we too will forever live with him, and so we shouldn't give up
-
and that our present service is no wasted.
-
Hallelujah. Therefore, what I want to say is
-
that everything or every act of service you do in the House of
-
the Lord, it has a reward in heaven.
-
God keeps records of everything we do in His house, and so we
-
want to go back to our quotation.
-
So we are called to be steadfast, to be steadfast.
-
So steadfast means that to be firm, to be faithful, not to be
-
easily distracted in this ministry or in this church.
-
If you are an officer, you can be easily distracted.
-
But the Word of God is saying that we should be steadfast.
-
We should be like a three with deep roots.
-
Our faith should stand strong despite the stones that may come
-
our way. Hallelujah, it means that our
-
minds and our has to be anchored in the truth or in God's truth.
-
And so Colossians chapter 2, verse 6 to 9 to 7, Colossians 2,
-
six to seven says that just as you receive Jesus Christ as
-
Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and build up in him,
-
strengthened in the faith as you were taught.
-
So when you are rooted in Christ, you are not carried away
-
by any storm. Hallelujah.
-
And the next one to is we should be immovable.
-
That is not to be moved or shaken.
-
As we've all said as church leaders, sometimes if you are
-
not careful, things can move you.
-
There are so many factors or so many issues that confront
-
officers. And if without the help of the
-
Holy Spirit, they can be distracted or they can be moved
-
or they can be shaken. So we want to look at one or two
-
things or three things. That's if care is not taken.
-
If you want officer, it is likely you'll be moved.
-
One is criticism. Criticism, yes.
-
So if you are an officer, criticism is bound to come.
-
It may come from your colleagues, one cuz our
-
colleagues offices. It may also come from the church
-
members. And if you are not careful,
-
you'll be discouraged. You'll be discouraged.
-
But this morning the Bible is telling us not to be moved.
-
Hallelujah upon all what Moses did for the people of Israel by
-
way of rescuing them from slavery, giving them God's law,
-
interceding for their sins, and guiding them towards the land
-
God has promised. He was criticized by this same
-
Israelites, even his sister Miriam and their brother Aaron,
-
they criticized him. We saw Paul.
-
Paul also was faced with so many criticism.
-
But the word of God is saying that whatever, whatever the case
-
may be, don't be moved. So my dear officers, being an
-
officer, you'll be criticized. Shahuuddin, hello.
-
So if criticism comes, don't just hold on or just be strong.
-
Amen. Another issues that can confront
-
officers, one is opposition, opposition.
-
Opposition. Opposition is when people work
-
against you. Yes, they can.
-
Also, if care is not taken, you can be moved.
-
And another thing is also discouragement.
-
Discouragement in the sense that maybe you want to have a program
-
as officers or maybe an officer, a leader.
-
You want to have a program. You've made announcements, we've
-
hyped the program media fly a swan wine echo.
-
But yeah, but starting. No, no be.
-
Anyhow, it's really disgusting. But because of the call you've
-
received from God, don't be moved.
-
Hallelujah. And Amuzu.
-
Evangelism. Evangelism a leader.
-
Oh yeah, we'll be going for evangelism after church.
-
Maybe let's say 4 O clock you'll be here and no one will be here.
-
Why ensure your beaker say I'll resign But the word of God says
-
elder Amuzu, don't resign, move on because there is a reward for
-
you and one another. One other thing that confronts
-
officers is balancing personal life and family pressure.
-
This is also one thing that confronts them too much.
-
And there are times as Elder Emma said, they spend long hours
-
having meetings and there are times do they skip their meals
-
and children may feel neglected. That they be our new fear.
-
They be our new fear. They may feel neglected.
-
And even there are some 2 whose spouses are not members.
-
Some somebody may be a dickness, but the the husband is not a
-
church member. And when that person goes home,
-
there's always tension at home. But because of the Word of God,
-
don't be moved. Hallelujah.
-
And one other thing too is false teachings.
-
No matter who you are in Christ, if you are not grounded in the
-
Word of God, false teachings can take you out of the House of
-
God. I remember 1 Dickness.
-
She left our church and she said she has now found the truth and
-
that she said that she has now found out that wearing earrings
-
and eating style more is the same.
-
So out of it, she left the church.
-
Oh, she's an officer, but she left it.
-
She left the church. So being an officer, you have to
-
be rooted in the Word of God and with the verse that we read it.
-
So we should abound in the work of the Lord.
-
Abound in the work of the Lord. That is giving yourself fully
-
and continually to God service, that is doing his work with
-
enthusiasm. So if we say you are to abound
-
in the work of the Lord, it means we must save, serve with
-
reverence, save from our hearts wholeheartedly.
-
We must respect God and honor him.
-
And Please remember that's we are serving the King of kings.
-
Hallelujah. We are not just serving people,
-
we are serving the King of kings.
-
So as leaders or as officers, we must treat every duty or we must
-
do everything as we are doing for the Lord.
-
And we must also be faithful to God.
-
We must also be faithful to God. We must obey God when it's
-
convenient or unseen. And one thing that we can do to
-
abound in the work of the Lord is to rely on God's strength.
-
As they were saying, some said it's because God is helping
-
them. Yes, with being an officer.
-
You can't be be an officer without the help of the Holy
-
Spirit. So it's always good to rely on
-
the Holy Spirit to help you in all your things.
-
Hallelujah there's one verse that's when I read in fact it
-
shakes me Jeremiah 48 verse 10 Jeremiah 48 verse 10.
-
He says the a woe unto anyone who does the work of God
-
carelessly, carelessly. So please, although being an
-
officer is not an easy task, but aim at doing its war and I know
-
God bless you. Hallelujah.
-
So the last part says that your labor won't be in vain.
-
Will pray and yaqua be be in the House of God will pray and
-
yaqua. It means every prayer, every
-
prayer, every act of kindness, every teaching and every giving,
-
every giving. Whatever you do here, whatever
-
you give here will be recorded and God will reward you.
-
Every encouragement you give somebody, somebody may be going
-
through some kind of troubles, but that you're aware of.
-
Encouragement will also mean something good in heaven.
-
Visiting, if you are here and were able to visit members, it's
-
also your labor. That thing you do will not be in
-
vain. Helping people quietly.
-
There are people who help people secretly.
-
They give to people secretly. All the things we've been doing
-
in the House of God, the Word of God is saying that our labor
-
will not be in vain. God, notice everything that we
-
do in the House of God and that he will reward us.
-
Hallelujah, so the rewards we have eternal life, all these
-
things. If you do, you have eternal life
-
and there are heavily crowns for us.
-
Everything you do Debiano facial team say because of the crown
-
that you are waiting, you work for the Lord and there are
-
heavily crowns, so many crowns in heaven that awaits us.
-
Yes, and what I have realized is that whoever serves the Lord
-
faithfully, God blesses his generations.
-
Hallelujah, whoever serves the Lord faithfully, God blesses
-
their generations from generation to generation
-
generations. You know the obey and just go
-
back you trace that the Father was they be was helping the
-
House of God the father helped someone the father was committed
-
Christine and that blessings passes through the generation's
-
heart or the last generation Hallelujah and to everyone of us
-
here our congregation here. I just want to say that save God
-
do something in the House of God or be or her she he or she is
-
just an A spectator or BA Sorry you're upon no Co there's
-
nothing you you can't even point of doing something in the House
-
of God. Please there are so many things
-
in this House of God that you can do for God.
-
Hallelujah. We are like 1 body.
-
First Corinthians chapter 12 verse 27 says now you are the
-
body of Christ and each one of you is part of it.
-
Yes, we are. We are body of Christ and each
-
one of you is part of it. Yes.
-
So we are one body with many parts.
-
So every Christian is like a different part of the body.
-
We bet, we bet, we bet 9. So if we are here and open the
-
corner on 9, say on my own choir, you can't move, Yes, you
-
can't move. Everybody here.
-
God has deposited so many things in us.
-
We have the spiritual gifts, the natural gifts.
-
Ah, God expects us to use it in his house.
-
Hallelujah. So please by the end of this
-
day, I want you to decide if you are not doing anything, just
-
anything in the House of God. And they say you just come, you
-
go, you come, you go. We are to mean pointing out,
-
say, Oh dear, we are this, you are doing this.
-
Please change your mind. Hello, please change your mind.
-
God has deposited so many things in you.
-
Whatever you are doing at your workplace, you can do it.
-
Yet there are some people who are creative, they are artistic,
-
they can create, they can draw and.
-
We are praying for our officers. You see, even as we climb as the
-
Appreciation Week, one of the best things we can do is pray
-
wholeheartedly for them. First we are praying that God
-
should grant them wisdom, knowledge and guidance.
-
The last time God asked Solomon that what do you want and
-
Solomon said I need wisdom and in the time of Solomon Bible
-
says that silver and gold was very common and Solomon became
-
successful because God gave him wisdom.
-
We are praying for wisdom for our leaders that every point in
-
time they will know the will of God and what to do.
-
Open your mouth and pray for them that they will never miss
-
their presidential way. We are praying for the wisdom of
-
God, the knowledge and the guidance of God in the name of
-
Jesus. In the name of Jesus, open your
-
mouth and pray for them. Pray for them that the wisdom of
-
God, the wisdom of God, the wisdom of God will kill them.
-
The knowledge of God will saturate them, that God will
-
guide them at every step of the way.
-
They will never miss their providential way in the name of
-
Jesus. La bado sabranda bahanta.

-
We are praying for an infilling of the Holy Ghost upon them.
-
We are praying God telling God that He should pour out his
-
spirits on them without measure, that there will be men and women
-
whom the spirits of the Lord dwells.
-
Open your mouth and pray in the name of Jesus and in feeling of

-
especially pray this one for them, that divine obedience and
-
that their faith will not feel. You see, being a leader is very
-
stressful. The last time Moses was so
-
stressed out and worn out that the commandment God gave him, he
-
disobeyed and because of that single one, he couldn't enter
-
the promise of law of the promised land.
-
We are praying for our leaders that these ones, it will not be
-
said of them that they work tirelessly in the House of God
-
and because of a single disobedience they couldn't
-
attain what God had prepared for them.
-
We are praying for special obedience for them that their
-
faith will not fail. This is 1 prayer that I always
-
want to pray that my faith will not fail because the Christian
-
work is a walk of faith. If you don't have faith, you
-
will faint. Let's pray for them.
-
Open your mouth and pray that their faith will not fill.
-
Their faith will not fill. Their faith will not fill in
-
tiring times, their faith will not fill.
-
When all odds are against them. They will trust the words of the
-
Lord and they will not disobey. In the name of Jesus, open your
-
mouth and pray. Open your mouth and pray.

our officers. The last time the woman who
-
broke the perfume on the feet of Jesus and clean with the hair,
-
the disciples began to talk and complain.
-
This thing you have done, we could have sold it and we'll get
-
a year's wages. But Jesus told them, listen,
-
leave this woman alone because of what she has done.
-
Wherever the gospel is preached, her name will be mentioned.
-
We are praying for our officers because of their service to the
-
Lord. Wherever Escapade Worship Center
-
is mentioned, their name will also be mentioned.
-
Because of their service to the Lord.
-
Generations will come and they will remember them.
-
Because of their service to the Lord, Their household will be
-
established and their name will never fit.
-
I will lift up your voice and pray.
-
Lift up your voice and pray. And even as they take care of
-
the House of the Lord, God Himself should take care of
-
them. God Himself should take care of
-
your household, God themselves to take care of your business.
-
Pray for making their businesses into the hands of God.

In the name of Jesus, our last prayer.
-
This one is an open check. The officers here, I want you to
-
specially in this atmosphere, lay your request before the
-
Lord. Even in this atmosphere, we are
-
trusting the Lord that whatever proclamation you make today will
-
be established. The same for the congregation.
-
If you have any wish for any of the officers, mention their
-
name, proclaim it. In this atmosphere, in this
-
altar, the Lord is here and you will grant our request even as
-
we celebrate them. Open your mouth and pray.
-
If you have any special requests, this is an open check.
-
Confess it. And in this atmosphere it will
-
be established in the name of Jesus, in laba soul, the
-
brother, the heart to side. In the name of Jesus we are
-
praying. Father, in the name of Jesus, we
-
thank you this morning. We have every cause to thank you
-
because you are a faithful God and you've dealt with your
-
church graciously. We are thankful for the lives of
-
our officers. Indeed, you have kept your word
-
true to us. You said you will give us
-
leaders after your own heart who will feed us with your word and
-
with knowledge. And indeed, in our day we have
-
sent it from time to time. You continue to raise leaders
-
for your church, and even as we celebrate them today, we say
-
thank you. Even as we thank you and
-
celebrate them, we want to pray for them.
-
We pray for wisdom and knowledge and guidance.
-
Father, for the sake of your church, grant them divine wisdom
-
and guidance. For the sake of your church,
-
grant them divine wisdom and guidance.
-
For the sake of your church, grant them divine wisdom and
-
guidance. For the sake of your Church.
-
Whenever they go on their needs, answer their prayers.
-
Whenever they need help for the sake of your church, answer them
-
quickly and send them help from Zion.
-
We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost upon them.
-
Oh, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost upon them.
-
We pray that you release your Spirit on them without measure,
-
that they will indeed be men and women in whom the Spirit of the
-
Lord is found. We pray that by their heads
-
never run out of oil. For the sake of your Church.
-
When they go on their needs, answer them, we pray, committing
-
them into your hands once again, even as they are taking care of
-
your church. We pray that you cater for them,
-
their businesses into your hands, their household into your
-
hands. David said that I have been a
-
child and now I'm an adult. I've never seen a righteous man.
-
Descendants beg for bread. Officers, for the sake of your
-
work for the Lord, your descendants will be blessed,
-
your descendants will be blessed, your descendants will
-
be blessed in the name of Jesus. And now may the Lord bless you.
-
May Yahweh Himself whom you serve, look down on you and
-
smile at you. May the Lord cause you to stand
-
before kings and Queens and stand before presidents.
-
May all nations come to you and call you blessed.
-
May the Lord cause you to walk under open heavens.
-
A week today you will hear good news.
-
I said A week today you will hear good news because of your
-
service to the Lord. A week today you will hear good
-
news. May the peace of God that
-
transcends all understanding God your hearts and give you joy.
-
No harm will come near your dwelling.
-
No harm will come near your dwelling.
-
Surely the Lord will save you from the foulest name and from
-
the deadly pestilence. You will not fear the terror of
-
the night, nor the arrow that flies by this.
-
May the Lord give you rest on every side.
-
May the Lord give you rest on every last side.
-
May the Lord make you a happy man.
-
May the Lord make you a happy woman.
-
And as we have blessed you and pray for you this manner, so
-
shall it be. Let's all the congregation say a
-
big Amen.
