GPCC because she didn't come for the GPCC week.

I mean the evening services. You do not know our slogan, You

do not know our slogan. So when I said GPCC, I'm

wondering what it is. I'm sure some of you do not even

know what GPCC stands for. But by the grace of God, God

will help us and today we will know what it means, what they

stand for and what they seek to achieve.

So that's slogan for GPCC. When we say GPCCGPCC is Ghana

Pentecostal Charismatic Council, Ghana Pentecostal Charismatic

Council. So we are looking at all the

Pentecostal churches, we are looking at all the charismatic

churches coming together as one body in Christ to do the mandate

of our Father in heaven. So we have a slogan and the

slogan is when I say GPCC, you respond unity and spirit.

GPCC, GPCC by the special grace of God, the chairman or the

President for the GPCC is Dear Apostle, the Chairman of the

Church of Pentecost and the person of Apostle Eric Namiche.

By the special grace of God, he is the Chairman of the Ghana

Pentecostal Charismatic Council and they have a mandate.

They have a mandate. Their aim is to work towards the

unity of the Church both spiritually and physically.

Their aim is to work towards the unity of the Church both

spiritually and physically. So whether you attend CSE,

whether you attend Assemblies of God, whether you attend the

Church of Pentecost, we are all one in Christ.

Hallelujah. So I wanted the choir to help me

So the whole week, as Kingsley mentioned, the whole week was

for GPCC for our zone. We met at the Assemblies of God

for during the evening services. So I am not coming to say

anything new. I'm just coming to summarize all

the things we learnt during the evening services that you

couldn't attend. So I'm coming to tell you what

we learned today. I'll add a little.

Then we I, I bring the sermon to an end.

By the special grace of God, the theme for this year's GPCC week

is Shining as stars in the world.

Shining as stars. I didn't hear your Amen.

Only one person said Amen. Shining as stars in the world.

So turn to your neighbor and say that you are a star and you must

shine. You are a star and you must

shine. Our uncle Scripture that we are

running with the whole week or we run with the whole week was

taken from Philippians Chapter 2, verse 15.

Philippians chapter 2, verse 15. That is our anchor scripture for

Philippians 2:15

the GPCC week. We will come back to this, but I

want to give you a background to Philippians chapter 2.

Philippians 2 · chapter mention

This, the book of Philippians was written by Apostle Paul and

he wrote this when he was in prison.

He has established a church in Philippi and then it came to his

knowledge that there was some discourse and disfuse in the

church. So it became necessary that he

writes a letter to the church to encourage them and to give a

word of advice to them as to how they will live in His absence.

Hallelujah. Please project John chapter 8,

John 8:12

verse 12 for me. John chapter 8, verse 12.

John chapter 8, verse 12. Right when Jesus spoke again to

John 8:12

the people, he said I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows me will never work in darkness, but to have

the light of life. Hallelujah.

So as you are sitting there, some versions say light, other

versions also using star. So as you are sitting there, I

want you to have the understanding that you are the

light of the world because you have believed Savior Jesus, who

is the light. Jesus is the light, and because

you have believed in Jesus, by extension, you are the light of

the world. So wherever you find yourself,

knowing that you are not there as an ordinary person, you are

the light and therefore you must shine like a star.

Hallelujah. Now, one of the questions that

came up during the service, the evening service was what does it

mean for a person to shine? When we say someone is shining,

what does it mean? What does it mean for a person

to shine? And the response that came was

figuratively, people shine when they stand out for doing

something extremely well. So in our journey of life, when

you stand out for doing something extremely well, we

deem you to be as a person who is shining.

So when I ask a question now and then, I mention, I ask you that

in your layman knowledge, when we are, when we are talking

about those who run, who will you say is the fastest runner?

Over the years? I want one person to give me an

answer. Over the years, the whole world.

When we say fastest runner, who will you mention?

Hussein boat. It is very simple.

This one you don't need. If you are a person who follow

international news, you don't need anybody to tell you that it

is the same boat. Hallelujah.

I am sure if I ask the guys to hear who is the best footballer,

they will be able to mention their name.

Me I some people will say Messi, some people will say what

Ronaldo, depending on their their team you support,

depending on their team you support, you'll be able.

But at least they are quite. Let's say you can mention about

5 people that worldwide we know that these people have

distinguished themselves, they are shining, they have stood out

for something or they are doing something extremely well.

So they are known worldwide as people who shine.

Hallelujah. In same grace, when we are

mentioning some ministers who sing or preach worldwide, you'll

be able to mention some people because these people have stood

out. They are shining in their field.

They are doing extremely well and they are they are winning

souls for Christ. So I want to ask a question, as

you are sitting there in your field, are you shining in your

banking hall? Are you shining in your school

as a teacher? Have you stood out as a medical

doctor? Are you shining in the hospital

where we get to Lakma Hospital and we are looking for the best

nurse. Will your name come up?

Will your name come up in in the legal field?

We are looking for lawyers who are well learned who are not

biased. Will your will your name be

mentioned in the church? We are looking for people who

sacrifice for the Lord. Will you be some?

Will you be part of the group of people whose names will be

mentioned? So as I am mentioning the

various professions, think of your own In the construction

field, when we are looking for the best architects, will your

name come up? Are you standing out?

Are you distinguishing yourself? Are you being a light?

Are you shining? Are you?

What are you doing differently to be the light in the field

where you are? Hallelujah.

So I want you to ponder over it, think about it, think about it.

There are some people when you go to their schools and you you

mentioned that everybody ruffian, everybody knows are you

there? You are the color of the school.

Well, I tell you where for a funeral somewhere my SHS.

And then I saw some seniors like when were SHS the way these

people used to bully aspire. That's that's why they assign

you. They're the honest bully.

They can bully you. And then you, you call home.

Are you part of such people? Or when they go to your Senior

High School and they say, oh, we are looking for so, so and so

they'll say, oh, As for this, this person, dear people will

have something good to say about you.

So in your field, wherever you find yourself, are you living a

life worthy of the call you have received?

It is an answer for you to ponder over.

Answer it yourself. And if you are not living the

life worthy of the call you have received, it's just my prayer

that on this climax day of the GPCC, grace will be available

for you so that you will stand out in your field.

Hallelujah. Now we moved on to another

question. And then they asked that how can

1 shine like a star? How can you shine?

Or what are the things that are the the exhibits or the things

you portray which when people see you will be identified as a

star. What are some of the exhibits?

Now take me to my uncle, the uncle scripture for the week,

which is Philippians chapter 2 verse 15.

Philippians 2:15

But let's start from the verse 12.

Let's start from the verse 12, right?

It reads, Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always

obeyed. This is Paul talking earlier on

I told you he was writing this when he was in prison, and then

he wrote this as a letter to the people of the church in Philippi

because he was addressing some issues in the church.

So he was telling them that. Therefore, my dear friends, He

addressed them as friends, as you have always obeyed not only

in my presence, but now much more in my absence.

Continue to work out your salvation with fear and

trembling. Please let's go, for it is God

who works in youth's will and to act in order to fulfill His good

purpose. Please continue.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing so that you may

become blameless and pure children of God without fault in

a wrapped and crooked generation.

Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.

When you are reading the Bible or the OR if you're an English

student and you are reading and then you see that you see the

word, then it means that something precedes it.

OK, then also means afterwards or next.

So it means that there are some things that has been outlined

when you do those things. After, after doing those things,

then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.

It also means that if you do not do those things, you will not

shine like a star. Are we following?

Are we together? Are you confused?

Right. So please take me to the verse

12. The same Philippines shot at me.

That's all. My dear friends, actually I've

always obeyed not only in my presence, but not much more in

my absence. So one of the exhibits or the

things that will portray that you are a true Christian is who

you are When no one is watching, when no one is there, when a

supervisor is not at work, what do you do?

When, where you work, there's no CCTV camera to monitor what you

are doing, what do you do? You still do your work?

Or, oh, once the haunted Mahinda.

Then you sleep, then you chat, then you do other things

contrary to the core purpose of the work.

So what do you do when no one is watching you?

What do you do when I'm presiding?

It's not there. Oh, I didn't remember.

Yeah. Presiding by cheating or back.

Transamania. What do you do when your boss is

not there? When presiding?

It's not there when your spouse is not there.

When your husband or your wife is not at home.

Maybe they've travelled for two weeks.

What do you do? Because they're not there to

monitor you. What do you do?

I'm here to submit to you that when you do or you obey God's

Word, or you still stand true to the core message of our Lord

Jesus Christ, when no one is watching you, then you will

shine like a star. Hallelujah.

You must reflect Christ when no one is watching you, when no one

is monitoring you. And you do the right thing.

That shows that you are a true Christian.

Hallelujah. This reminds me of the story in

Daniel chapter 3. Please project Daniel chapter 3

Daniel 3 · chapter mention Daniel 3:16

verse 16 for me. It is a popular story we all

know and it is about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who were

stars in their generation. These three persons found

themselves in Babylon. We all know the story and then

it came to a point that King Nebuchadnezzar has built an

image and then he wanted them to bow to the image.

Now their response in that not 316 touches me so well.

When you go home, you can read the whole of that, not Chapter

3, but my emphasis is on the 316.

Now let me read the response they gave to the king after

everybody has bowed and they distinguished themselves.

Shadrack, Meshad, and Abednego replied to him, which is King

Nebuchadnezzar. We do not need to defend

ourselves before you in this matter.

Please continue. If we are thrown into the

blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from

it, and He would deliver us from Your Majesty's hand.

Please continue. I like the verse 18 so much.

The verse 18, there I was. I spent time here a little and I

was actually thinking about it. The verse 18 says, but even if

he does not, that is why the class is so.

The preceding one says, Oh yes, our God, they will know He will

deliver us. But the verse 18 is saying that,

but even if He does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that

we will not save your gods or worship the image of gold you

have set up. That is where my emphasis is.

Today's Christianity has become Uber.

Everything will go well. Of course, when you come to

Christ, everything is fine, everything is going well with

you. But when you get to the stage

that you have fasted, you have prayed, you have done

everything, and the assets are not coming, will you decide to

bend The Cave? That is the question.

When you were a lady and you want to marry, you have waited,

you have prayed, you have done everything.

The marriage is not coming. Maybe according to the calendar

of God, it is not yet your time. Will you decide that?

Oh air, bend to me, Let me bend the curve, let me fornicate, let

me masturbate. Hallelujah.

Even if when you marry and then childbirth is not coming, what

will you do? Even if you have done everything

and then your prayers are not being answered, what will you

still continue to hold on to your true Christianity and

continue to shine like a star? It is a question for us to

ponder over. When you have finished school

and you are looking for a job and you have prayed and prayed

and the job is not coming and then you went to 1 institution

with the person. Oh come on, let me sleep with

you and give you a job. Even if God does not do it, we

know He would do it regardless. Even if He does not do it, will

you say you sleep with the boss for the job?

It's a question for us to point that when you go to work and you

are a man and you're the secretary at work is looking

very seductive and your wife is not there, what will you do?

Even if that is a clause, Hallelujah.

Oh, why are you quiet? Hallelujah.

Does it mean you're pondering about what I'm saying?

We so Soviet version and Abednego were were stars.

They were light because the whole of Babylon, everybody is

afraid of the king. Everybody is bending The Cave.

Everybody is lowering the standards of Christianity

because if they do, if they do not do it, the king has made a

decree that you will die. And this is the situation they

find themselves in. And that's who they know that

they are children of light. So what would they do?

So they told the King, As for, As for you, this man, we know

our God will save us. But even if he does not send us

into the fire, we will go through Hallelujah.

And they actually you, you know the story, they were actually

put in the finance. And then you see, when I was

reading it, I, I got stuck at a point because Bible says that

when you go, you can read everything.

Bible says that even those who put them inside a furnace crowd

or the soldiers smooth, they died.

So you can see how hot the furnace was.

So they're not, they were going, we're going to put them.

The soldiers are dying. But they still decided that no,

because we are stars, we will not lower our standards.

We will still go through the process even if our God will not

give us Hallelujah, such level of faith in God, true

Christianity. And then by getting to the end,

Bible Messes understands that when they went through the

process, please meet at me. If you can get to the part where

the king saw the Son of Man among them, I'll be glad.

Bible Messes understand that when they went through the

process, they went into the fire.

They will be happy in the fire. They were happy their king

Nebuchadnezzar, he was watching them.

So I was like a movie. Everybody was oh say Muslim a

swan thing, mum bended donkey Kabosi mum bended go through and

they actually went. Now everybody was watching naked

double beard as I leaped to his feet in amazement and he he

asked his advices Why is there three men that we tied up and

threw into the fire. They replied certainly your

majesty, please continue. He said, look, I said four men

walking in the fire, Hallelujah on bold and unharmed.

It means that they were in the fire, but they were not bent.

Hallelujah. And the fourth person looks like

a son of the gods, Hallelujah. So in the fire, God was with

them. Even if, if we know our God will

save us, but even if they allowed themselves to go through

the process, they didn't bent the standards of God.

And then I, I, I want to announce to you that God came

through for them. So if you are here and you have

gotten to a stage in your Christianity where things are so

rough that according to your flesh you want to bend your

standards, I pray for grace for you.

The grace that came on Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

Nobody is saying it is easy the way I'm talking like this.

You may oh, this says it is not easy.

We know, we know, it's not easy, even if God does not come for

us. But the good news is that when

you allow yourself to go through the process, God will definitely

come through for you. Hallelujah.

Just as he came from measured shadow and Abednego.

And then at the end of the day, they were shining light.

Stars, they were lights. Hallelujah.

Die on me, Keep trusting me in all you do.

Surely my prayer senses with you.

Surely the tree will be lookout to me.

Lookout to me, realight on me. So that is the second thing that

according to Philippians chapter 2, when you do, you will shine

Philippians 2 · chapter mention

like I start. The first one we saw was that

even if nobody is there, do the right thing when no one is

watching. And then the second thing we

have also realized is that As for God, He will come through

for us, but even if He doesn't, we should still hold on to our

mandates. And we know at the end he will

come through for us and we will be shining our stars in the

world. Hallelujah.

Now when you go to Philippines chapter 2, verse 15, that was

like I mentioned, please give me Philippians 215.

Very soon I'll bring the message to an end, right?

Please go to 14. OK 13, 12 OK so the next thing

we can see before we come to the den part which will make us

shine is that it says that continue to work out your

salvation with fear and trembling.

Please continue, for it is God who works in you to will and to

act in order to fulfill His good purpose.

So the next thing that you will exhibit or the next thing that

you will do which will make people see that you are shining

as a star, or which will make you stand out or be

distinguished, is that you have to work out your own salvation

with fear and Chamberlain Hallelujah, how do we work out

our salvation? Let's no one like you.

You have to study the Word of God, Amen.

There, there is no shortcut. There's no shortcut.

It's good to listen to podcasts. It's listen, it's good to join

online prayers. It's good to do all the things

you need to do as a Christian, but you have to study the word

of God for yourself. You have to have time, a time

where you take the the hard copy of the word of God, you sit

down. That is what we call quiet time

and meditation. You sit down, you read, you

meditate, and then you receive revelations from.

There is no shortcut. You have to read the Word of God

if you want to be a true Christian.

You have to commit yourself to prayer while you are reading the

word of God and then you are praying.

You are working out your own salvation.

You have to also add fasting to it.

You see some of these things when we say, you may think, oh,

we always hear it. That's what they wear.

They say every day we should read the word.

Every day they say prayer. Every day they say fasting.

We always say it and we continue to say it because that is where

power lies. Say that is where power lies.

Say it to yourself, That is where power lies.

You cannot be a Christian without power if you are a

Christian without power. The last time I was listening to

add Bishop Duncan Williams during the the program that the

Church of Pentecost invited all the churches, what was their

name? All Ministers Conference.

Very well, I was listening to him.

I don't know why most of you listen.

And then he was saying that and I quote, if you are a Christian

without power, the devil will use you as teaching guy.

He said it. If you didn't listen, I'm

telling you, the devil will use you as teaching guy.

You know what teaching guy is? If you are a Christian without

power, the devil will use you as teaching guy.

I remember one time I was going, I was with a colleague and we're

using the chado, the chado route to work.

And then we got to a house where you see this houses that they

use the electrical wires to cover to how should I say it,

the house is faced with electrical wires.

The one that's when the light in the evening, you see light and

then thieves are not able to come through.

Do you do you understand what I'm saying?

You see that electrical wiring very well.

So when we got to one house with electrical wiring there, he told

me that Barbara, this electrical wiring, there's no power in it.

And I said, as I said, how come me and you, we are not in that

house, we are not there. How did you know that there's no

power in it? Then he said, can't you see

cobwebs around the fire? Can't you see Lizas moving

around in the fire? It means that there is no power.

Then you are saying that he has one in his house where at one

night he, he was in his room and then he puts it on.

You know when you put it on, there's fire all around so

thieves cannot break in. He said he put it on and then he

could hear a noise. So he came out and then he was

looking around to see whether there are thieves around or

someone is trying to break into the house or something.

What is actually going on? Then he said as he looked, he

saw one small lizard trapped at the corner of the wire.

Small lizard? Oh, when the lizard got to where

the wiring was, because there was power, it's died.

So when you are a Christian without power, the devil will

use you like Tsinga. But it is my prayer that the

devil will not use anyone like Tsinga here in the name of

Jesus. So commit yourself to the word

of God. Commit yourself to prayer.

Commit yourself to fasting. Commit yourself to the ministry

of the Holy Ghost. When you do that, you will

receive power. I want to quote Katherine

Coleman. Katherine Coleman said

something. Those of you who don't know

Katherine Coleman, she was a powerful woman of God in her

generation. She said that God has not given

to me. She was talking to her

congregation and she was telling them that God has not given to

me. One thing He will not give to

any of you young people if you pay the price.

So for every anointing, there is a price to pay, there is a price

to pay. There are sacrifices you must

do. The anointing does not come just

just just like that. There's a price to pay.

There's a sacrifice you must do. And one of the sacrifices is

what we are teaching you. Commit yourself to the study of

the word. Commit yourself to prayer.

Commit yourself to fasting. Commit yourself to the ministry

of the Holy Ghost. And as you continually do this,

you will receive power. Amen.

You see, we have gotten to a generation of AI.

Everything is on the Internet, see a time is coming that if you

are a parent and you do not have power and you do not have the

Holy Ghost, why you talk to your children?

Don't even listen because they can find everything on the

Internet. What are you going to tell them

that they don't know on AI immediately the Google Papa, it

is there. So what would distinguish you as

a parent when you talk to your children?

Don't hear. It is the Holy Ghost,

Hallelujah, it is the Holy Ghost.

It is the Holy Ghost, it is the Holy Ghost.

So you cannot do without working out your salvation with fear and

trembling. When you do so, you will become

a light in your generation. You become a star.

You become a star in your workplace, wherever you find

yourself at home, and then you will shine for people to see.

People will see you, and then through you don't come to the

serving knowledge of Christ. Even as I'm bringing my message

to an end, I want to reiterate to you that Jesus is light.

And because we have believed in Him, we are also light.

We need to shine wherever we find ourselves.

When no one is watching us, we need to do the right thing.

God will come through for us. Even if He does not, we need to

still maintain our standards. And in the end, He will come

through for us. You need to work out your own

salvation with fear and trembling.

You need to study the Word. You need to commit yourself to

prayer, to the Holy Ghost, sacrifice to the Lord.

Give so seats to the Lord. And as you are doing this, you

will be a light. Your star will shine brighter

and brighter and brighter, and you will stand out in your

field. You will live a life worthy of

your calling. Amen.

ways. We should focus on Christ and

pray. Amen.

So to add up, I had people shine when they do something extremely

well in their jurisdiction. And so as Christians, wherever

we find ourselves, we should endeavor to sign.

Do something to stand out for a good name.

Amen. I heard that in any situation I

must stand firm in my Christian life.

I heard that I should be prayerful.

I heard I must read the Word all the time.

I heard that to function well we need the power of God and

irrespective of the condition, we need to still stand by God's

promise. I.

Heard that we should have faith in God.

That is not easy, but we don't have to give up.

I heard that as Christians you have to shine everywhere we find

ourselves to serve and as an example for others.

I heard that even if there is no one watching, you have to be

sincere to yourself. I heard that even after praying

and fasting and still things aren't going the way you

expected. Don't give up, still continue to

pray because that is where power lies.

And that we should shine in every circumstances.

I learned that we should trust God and allow Him to guide our

path. What I learned is as a

Christian, we must be powerful, and to be powerful you must read

your Bible, you must pray and then fast.

I learned that we should do everything without grumbling and

arguing. Hence, we should always read our

Bibles because there is no shortcut.

Even if you want to join prayers, you still have to read

your Bible so that you meditate on it.

I like that I might shine anywhere I find myself.

I learnt that we should believe in God no matter the situation,

just like Daniel and his friends did.

I learned that we must stand out wherever we find ourselves.

I learnt that we should work on our salvation with fear and

trembling. Then you will shine like the

stars in the sky. Amen.

I learned that we shouldn't bend the curve.

I learned that even if all odds are against us, we still believe

in God. I learned that we should

continue doing everything we are destined to do and never give

up. I learned that we should always

hold on to God. God will always come through for

His children. Even if He doesn't come through,

we should hold on because He would come through at the end.

I learned that Jesus is the light of the world and because

we believe in Him, we are also the light of the world.

I learned that we should be good.

We should do good even in the absence of the law.

I also learned that we should stand firm no matter, no matter

the circumstances that we find ourselves, we should keep on

trusting God and he will come true for us.

I learned that Jesus is the light of the world.

He that followed him shall not work in darkness.

I learned that we should have faith.

We should have faith in the Lord.

I learned that we should be strong in our faith.

Just as Daniel and his friends do not bow down to the God, we

should still trust in God in times of difficult.

I learned that you can't be a Christian without the power of

God. So we should also read our word

and then pray and fast. I learned that we should be

prayerful at all times. I learned that we should be

children of God without fault so that in such a crook generation

I also learned that we should become stars in wherever we find

ourselves or our spheres. I learned that I should do the

I also learned that as Christians, when you come to the

What I learned that is, as believers, our shy mass reflect

I learned that as Christians, we should continue to shine as the

stars of the world. We should have strong faith in

the Lord and trust Him in all things.

must have faith in God. I learned that if you don't have

I learned that we must be the light wherever we find

ourselves. I heard that the situation she

king that even if God does not deliver them, they will not bow

down to the their gods. So she admonished Christians to

things. But I came to realize that the

reason why I wasn't thinking like those people is because the

Spirit of God was my strength. So what brings the difference?

You come face to face with death just like these people.

Yet they chose death. God could have decided to allow

them to die. And if they should die, they

know they are going to heaven. Hello, in our dispensation, how

many of us can stand for our faith?

We love ourselves so much that we are only interested in what

we shall eat, drink where, what we shall gain today and then be

popular. Please, I want to beg you in the

name of the Lord, if you are here this morning and you can

hear my voice. Some of us, we have come to

church because today is Sunday. Some of us, we have come to

church because if you don't come, someone may ask you why

did you not go? But I want to believe that God

has brought you this morning to speak to you.

So please, if you can stand for your faith, if you can stand and

shine just like these people, you can never do away with the

Spirit of God because He is our strength.

And without the Spirit of God, you cannot be exceptional,
