Delivering this morning Salmon is no other person that our
-
resident minister in the person of Pastor Emmanuel or say Akosa.
-
Shall we welcome him? With a club offering.
-
Praise the Lord, May grace and peace for our Father and our
-
Savior Christ Jesus be multiplied unto us all.
-
Oh I can't feel your Amen. Your Amen is a bit down now.
-
You have come to church. Amen.
-
We thank God for today and for this week.
-
This whole week is area week and we are ending today and
-
throughout the whole week we have been looking at prophetic
-
grace and Christian living lessons from the prophets, Hosea
-
lessons from the book of Hosea. And today as we end I want us to
-
look at another sub team from that same bigger one.
-
Plow any unplowed land in your life.
-
Plowing any unplowed land in your life, that is what we want
-
to look at. So as part of the prophetic
-
Greece and Christian living, we want to picture this from the
-
book of Hosea. So read our texts as you have
-
seen there on the screen. Hosea 6 verse 6.
-
And then we'll go to Hosea chapter 10, verse 12 to 13,
-
Jeremiah 4 verse 3, and then finally Isaiah 32 verse 15,
-
Hosea 6 verse 6, Hosea 10 verse 12 to 13, Jeremiah 4 verse 3,
-
and Isaiah 3215. So read from Hosea 6 verse 6.
-
For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, an acknowledgement of
-
God rather than bent offerings. Amen.
-
And move on to Hosea 10 verse 12 and 13.
-
Hosea 10 verse 12 and 13. Sow righteousness for
-
yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up
-
your unplowed ground. For it is time to seek the Lord,
-
until He comes and showers his righteousness on you. 13 Please.
-
But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have
-
eaten the fruit of deception, because you have depended on
-
your own strength and on your many warriors are men.
-
They read from Jeremiah 4. Three.
-
Jeremiah 4/3 This is what the law says to the people of Judah
-
and to Jerusalem. Break up your unplowed ground,
-
and do not sow among tongues. Break up your unplowed ground
-
and do not sow among thongs. And then finally, Isaiah 3215.
-
So the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert
-
becomes a fertile field. And the fertile field seems like
-
a forest when we read from the same text from the NLT.
-
Let's take it from the NLT and let's see.
-
Until at last the spread is poured on us from heaven.
-
Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile
-
field will yield bountiful crops.
-
Amen. So Hosea, what we are looking at
-
today, essentially Hosea's message is a call to repentance,
-
is a call to repentance and spiritual renewal.
-
What are we going to look at? You see that if you take your
-
time and read the entire book of Hosea, which I would have wished
-
that you take an hour to read and not celebrate, you can do it
-
within a very short time, though you may be thinking about many
-
things, how to comprehend it, but just read and you catch the
-
import of it. And then it also shows us that
-
God has a desire to restore. Though He had threatened them to
-
bring judgments. God, on the other hand, too, was
-
trying to say that He will restore them.
-
Then He tells them that their religion was so superficial,
-
they were just doing something to represent another thing.
-
They came to serve God, but their hearts and their minds
-
were far away. So God was saying that I desire
-
mercy, not sacrifices. God wanted them to come and know
-
Him personally and relate to Him, not just doing something to
-
represent something. And then as we end, we look at
-
the issue of sewing, plowing, sewing and ripping.
-
So that is what we want to look at.
-
So let's start from Hosea's time.
-
Hosea lived in a very chaotic time.
-
His time was very bad. He lived in a troubled and
-
chaotic time. After the 40th reign of
-
Jeroboam. The second they were they were
-
cools, there was instability and the social conditions were also
-
very bad. The social condition there was
-
bad spiritually to Israel had abandoned their God and they
-
were they had a form of worship that was syncretic, meaning that
-
they had picked other things and they claimed to worship God, but
-
they were worshipping bow and they were also having the calf
-
and we were worshipping all these things.
-
So he leave he was called in a time when things were very bad.
-
Leadership had filled, priests had ignored God's word and the
-
kings trusted others. They wanted to seek help from
-
Egypt instead of seeking help from him God and this thing
-
happened in the northern Kingdom.
-
By this time Israel had been divided into two 10 tribes had
-
formed the northern Kingdom. And they when you read this
-
book, you'll be seen God referring to them, Samaria
-
because it was their capital. You see, God mentioned Ephraim
-
because it was the most prominent of the tribes in the
-
north and it was level 2 down. And that was what we refer to
-
Judah. So the Judah now, they now call
-
themselves the real Jews because they have the pure blooded Jews.
-
The northern tribes after Hosea, you will see their name.
-
God banished them and they were mixed up also because they
-
failed to listen to God. So God, his heart was not at at
-
ease. In fact he wanted to call them
-
to himself. So from the Kingdom to the
-
priests to the worship, to the social structure, everything was
-
crumbling, everything was upside down.
-
And that was the time that the word of the Lord, the prophetic
-
grace came upon Hosea. So the word of the Lord came to
-
him and he was told to go and act.
-
So the prophetic grace was God's response to what was happening.
-
God wanted to talk to them. So God anointed all the word
-
that grace came upon Hosea to go and deliver God's message to the
-
people of Israel who were living in sin.
-
So God's response to the chaotic world was that he bestowed
-
prophetic grace. So God gives his prophetic grace
-
a response to what is happening amongst us.
-
God intentionally raised some individuals from nowhere to come
-
and declare his way that that sears the Lord.
-
And that grace is what we are praying that in our time to you,
-
May God raise us up so that in our homes, wherever we are, we
-
will be the mouthpiece of God at our workplace.
-
So as you evangelize, receive this grace to you so that you
-
will not only evangelize, but you will carry the prophetic
-
anointing. Hallelujah.
-
So the prophetic grace came in a time where there was a mess.
-
In a time of mess, God gave a message to take them out of that
-
mess. And that was what came through
-
the prophetic mouth of Hosea. So God's prophetic grace brings
-
prophetic messages to a messy world to forestall order.
-
So there was so much chaos and they needed order and God
-
unleashed His prophetic grace to go and restore order.
-
So the prophetic grace we are talking about came so that they
-
would know God's intention. It was revealed so that they
-
will have a better life and direction for themselves.
-
So now they were doing everything they could.
-
They were doing it anything, but they were not doing it according
-
to what God wanted. So as a loving Father and as a
-
faithful God, He didn't want to destroy them.
-
Because when you read the book of Hosea, you see the God being
-
just and at the same time being merciful.
-
So he says that he deserves mercy so that he wouldn't want
-
to destroy them. At the same time, you will not
-
sit down on concern while they keep on sinning.
-
So he he called the the grace of the prophetic grace came to warn
-
them that if you don't stop, I will destroy you.
-
And it's the same thing with us now.
-
So as a father, anytime he sees things going wayward, bad,
-
messy, he intervenes. And he intervenes by declaring
-
his intention. He intervenes by seeking for a
-
mouthpiece to tell them that this is what I want to do.
-
So if you would change and come to me, I too, I'll return unto
-
you. May we be the mouthpiece of God
-
in our time. So God told him to go and marry
-
Goma, a promiscuous woman, an audifu, a prophet in Israel.
-
In fact, of all the minor, of all those who from Daniel and
-
Cole, from Joel up to Malachi, it was only him who came from
-
the Northern tribe, and he was called to preach unto them, this
-
man. And of all the women in the
-
world, God didn't ask him to marry anyone except a
-
promiscuous woman. So he said that when the Lord
-
began to speak through Hosea, the first word, the Lord said to
-
him, Go marry a promiscuous woman and have children with
-
her. For like an adulterous wife,
-
this man is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.
-
So God wanted to let the world, God, you wanted human beings to
-
feel how he felt. So he wanted to demonstrate,
-
dramatize his feelings by asking a righteous man to get marry a
-
very evil and evil woman. So God was saying that through
-
your relationship, I'm going to use you to demonstrate my
-
faithfulness and my mercy onto the land of Israel.
-
So that woman to receive mercy, because at a point in time she
-
went about following other men to the point that Jose had to go
-
and pay half a price of a slave to redeem her.
-
Go told him, Hosea, go and pay this amount and redeem her and
-
bring her back to your home. And Hosea said yes, Lord.
-
And he went and paid about 15. I've forgotten the exact amount,
-
but he went and paid to redeem that woman.
-
That evil woman, she had descended below the price of a
-
slave. She was worth half the price of
-
a slave, yes. So he bought her for 15 shekels
-
of silver and about a Homer and a lactic of Bali.
-
That amount there was half the price of a slave.
-
So she had degenerated her to the lowest point, that her
-
wealth was half a slave. And God told him that go and
-
bring her back. That was the sense which God
-
wanted to demonstrate love unto them.
-
So go there. His love for us is so great.
-
And that was the message, mercy towards Goma, who did not
-
deserve that mercy. But God told Hosea, go and
-
redeem her and bring her back. And that whatever word, the word
-
that Hosea told her, that now you will live here, you will be
-
left alone. And that is what the Lord will
-
also do to His nation, Israel. So through that grace, God
-
demonstrated his love towards us.
-
May God's love for us be seen through and through our lives in
-
Jesus name. So the first fruit of the
-
prophetic grace, the first fruits of the prophetic grace is
-
repentance. Repentance.
-
So Hosea himself had to repent. He had to change his mindset
-
towards Goma in order to marry her.
-
Repentance. When you receive the grace, your
-
ministry will work on you first before it will affect others.
-
If your ministry does not affect you, the impact on others.
-
Will be shallow. The grace of God upon you will
-
have to affect you in the same way we have been called, we have
-
been called and we are the people of God.
-
So the calling of God upon your life, she caused repentance in
-
you before we can try or attempt to preach to somebody.
-
So if you don't repent, you cannot preach and bring souls
-
unto the Lord. So the grace, the prophetic
-
grace transforms both the messenger and the audience.
-
Unfortunately, in the case of the nation, Hosea was
-
transformed, but the nation was adamant to ghost call to repent.
-
May we not hide under I go to church.
-
Sorry, I am a member of this and still do whatever you want to
-
do. May God's grace upon you produce
-
repentance. Hallelujah.
-
Hosea's message were just simple and two return and know that the
-
Lord of all the sermons he preached, of all the things you
-
read, these two words are key. Return to the Lord and know the
-
Lord. So it is repentance and the
-
knowledge of God. So the basic issue of the
-
Israelites was that they are turned away from the Lord.
-
Their backs were now facing God and God was saying that repent,
-
come, come to me and then let us sit down together for you to
-
know me and know me well. If you are one mile apart from
-
God, God is saying come back to Him.
-
If you are here and you need to return to God in prayer, return
-
to Him. You cannot survive if you go
-
alone. If you drift and drift and drift
-
and drift and drift, a time is coming.
-
You will lose your way back. Then coming to this hall will be
-
the most difficult thing in your life.
-
Coming to church will be like, hey, carrying a log of wood
-
because you have drifted and it comes subtle, slowly.
-
Before you say, Jack, you are one mile apart.
-
May we return unto God in prayer.
-
Remember your first love, your first love.
-
The day you first believed how you were you were yearning to
-
fellowship with God. How you you, you used to pray
-
read the Bible. The day you don't even read, you
-
feel like something is missing with you and check today with at
-
you and see if you have gone off.
-
God is saying that may we return unto him.
-
Return in your faith. Some of us, if we don't take
-
care. The world can spin you.
-
This world, it can spin you. Because from the day from
-
morning, from dawn to dusk. Obeyashi true of us.
-
Everybody make wild. Hey, everybody, you in a car
-
crowd. Yeah, it'd be too serious.
-
Because don't know your your you open your eyes and plants,
-
inquire plants from the home. And if you are a wife and a
-
mother. Dear.
-
Deionia Manhunu. What dear, dear, where's how to
-
cook? You know you are tired and you
-
have to carry yourself up, take care of the small ones and take
-
care of the mountain before you move out.
-
You are late to to even make your way out to your office.
-
Traffic, the horns everywhere, fatigue, but in this time to God
-
express us throughout that relationship with him.
-
So if you are drifting, come back to him and may we repent.
-
So God's repentance, he wants it to be genuine God.
-
He doesn't want superficial things.
-
He wanted them to return unto Him and to come to Him with
-
genuineness of hearts that will reflect in their daily life.
-
God, you wanted them to to show integrity of hearts.
-
You wanted to see that they have truly repented in their actions.
-
And that was when God used the example of plowing, sowing and
-
then reaping. So after the prophetic grace
-
came, God used a lot of things to draw the attention.
-
But we are just picking just one that God wanted to communicate
-
to the heart that what they are doing will end in West things.
-
It will end in wickedness, in evil.
-
Instead, they should turn around and begin to sow righteousness
-
so that what he desires as mercy, they will reap it.
-
So let's just now turn and go through the imagery of
-
agriculture and the call to repentance.
-
One of them is ploughing. That's go and plow.
-
In the same way you may think that in our time to what do we
-
have to do with plowing? What do I have to do with
-
agriculture? We are just using that one as
-
the imagery that God used for them because by that time they
-
were all into farming. In fact, it was the most
-
abundant thing that they used to do.
-
So we'll look at that one and then try to bring it down, down,
-
down, down to 10. So plowing then God meant that
-
they should break their hard hearts.
-
Before you sow a seed, the ground must be loose.
-
It shouldn't be compacted. It shouldn't be a hard ground.
-
Otherwise they cannot gain much strength to go through and to
-
gain roots. So follow grounds.
-
So before we look at what you have there, let's look at
-
unplowed grounds or fallow soil. It is simply a ground or soil
-
which has been left unplanted for a period of time.
-
In other words, fallowed land is a land that has been left there
-
for a while. So the NIV calls it on plowed
-
grounds and the King James and GO calls it fallow grounds.
-
They are the same words. So it is a land that could be
-
used to produce good things, but has been neglected, has been
-
left idle, has been left untilled.
-
Though it can be tilled to produce many things, it has been
-
left for whatever reasons known best to them.
-
So for it to be planted again, it has to be broken, it has to
-
be prepared, it has to come back so that it will be useful for
-
that which has to be done. In the same way, God's Word came
-
to them to break up the fallow ground of their hearts.
-
Their heart now had been hardened.
-
Nyameka Shia. Their song will be Yentiobia
-
Yentiobia. In fact, when God speaks, they
-
don't even hear. It was strange.
-
They didn't even they couldn't even comprehend what God was
-
saying. So God needed them to draw the
-
attention that just as before you plant a seed, you work on
-
the ground to make it loose and soft.
-
You to your heart, your your your heart is adding and
-
therefore my word as a seed cannot gain grounds there to
-
produce seeds and fruits that I desire.
-
That was the the thing that God was was saying to them.
-
So there are two things that we want to show to you about how to
-
plow a plowable land. The first thing is that the
-
follow grounds someone has just seen is that the grounds though
-
is unusable. It's not used.
-
It can be used, but it has become unusable because of the
-
occupants on the grounds and the fellow grounds had also been
-
left to be there. And that was what how Ralph,
-
please see if you can go to the slides that have what is sparky.
-
It is there. So Ralph Wilson is the man who
-
identified it from the book that follow.
-
Ground is unusable because it is hard.
-
God could not use them. God could not use the the nation
-
for his glory because their fellow ground was unusable.
-
They needed to break it up before God could allow them or
-
before they could sow things. So fellow ground is unusable
-
because it is hard. You cannot put a grain of maize
-
on this street as fats and expect it to grow.
-
Why? Because the that ground, it is
-
sealed. It has not linked to the soil,
-
it is hardened and you need to break it before you get access
-
to the real soil. And it can produce fruits in the
-
same way. Their hearts were so hardened
-
with sin that they could not even hear God when He was
-
speaking. So follow grounds on you.
-
Please go back when we compare slides 3.
-
Otherwise I will tell you to move when it is so the seed
-
could not get access to gain roots.
-
So God's Word could not get access into their hearts and
-
they needed to break it. And fellow grounds you have to
-
before you work on them. You need to remove stamps.
-
You have you you all of you grew up in Accra and see how you draw
-
a palm. They don't see it, but you, you
-
let me show you a very simple way.
-
If you buy your own land and you want to build your house, you
-
need to go and hire a nuclear honor friend and say a machine
-
to go and clear the whole space. That's act of clearing is what I
-
am referring to, breaking up the ground so that it will make way
-
for you to do whatever you want to do good.
-
In the same way, whenever you go to a ground which has been
-
abandoned, left for a long time, you need to go and clap the
-
whole space, remove stumps, break up rocks, dislodge them,
-
gather tongues and bend them before you can get access to the
-
soil. So the nation had brought many
-
things on their hearts except God.
-
And for God to get through to them, He was warning them that
-
clear your hearts, get over everything which has occupy your
-
hearts and break it up so that my way can produce what I
-
desire. Also follow.
-
Grounds are unused. They are there.
-
You cannot just go and stand there and throw seeds there.
-
It cannot grow. It is, it cannot grow.
-
I pray that if anything has occupied our hearts, may we
-
clear them off Hallelujah. See, when you leave Bible
-
studies, devotions, your own one.
-
If you leave it for a long time, if you want to go back, look at
-
how difficult it is. If you have become prayerless
-
for a long time and you want to go back, hey, their struggles,
-
it means that you are breaking through.
-
The struggle is part of what breaking through whatever you
-
have left in this church. Anything that you used to do for
-
God and you have left, God is saying return on threats and do
-
it for Him. Hallelujah.
-
Also, if you constantly allow any land to be idle for some
-
time, gradually it will become a fallow ground in your Christian
-
work. Whatever spiritual discipline
-
you live for some time will become your fallow ground.
-
Prayer, evangelism. When was the last time you went
-
out to preach to somebody that Jesus says God loves you for God
-
so loved the world because you have not been doing it.
-
Now that area of your Christian work has become fallow.
-
Break it up. You need to go and clear all the
-
weeds, the cobwebs, everything on that ground and occupy it.
-
If you fail to do it, you become numb to God, especially in your
-
work with the Holy Spirit. At first probably used to hear
-
his voice, but you started drifting, sinning, small, small.
-
When he convicted you, you refuse.
-
And so now when he speaks, you don't hear because your, your,
-
your spiritual sharpness has been clouded by the cobwebs of
-
sin. You need to remove them, break
-
it up so that when God speaks, you hear.
-
If you don't take care and you become numb, then you get to a
-
very serious state of apostasy. Why?
-
Why? There is no way coming back to
-
God. May God help us so that we did
-
not go to that point. Fallow grounds too.
-
Another thing is that fallow grounds, they have nutrients and
-
they have unwanted things. So as you live your Christian
-
life to become fallow, your potentials in you are trapped
-
and weaknesses are also abounding in you.
-
So breaking up your fallow ground is a way of harnessing
-
your potentials and working on your weaknesses.
-
There is a gift in you, but you have allowed it to follow for a
-
long time. Every believer you have a gift
-
of God, you have gifts. Some of us, we have multiples,
-
but whenever we are praying, God gives the Holy Spirit deposits.
-
He deposits good things in us, but because you have left it to
-
follow, now you think that you don't have anything.
-
But if you will break your fallow ground, if you will go
-
back and clear all the unwanted things, God will work with you
-
again. Hallelujah.
-
Don't justify your weakness. Anything you have left to
-
follow, don't justify them. Allow God to work on them.
-
Don't do what? Justify them.
-
Next one please media team, next slide.
-
Don't justify your weakness. There is something great in you.
-
Until your your ground is broken, your land is
-
unprofitable to God. Until you break your heart for
-
God, you cannot bear fruits of repentance.
-
Thank you. So break up your fellow ground
-
and May God help us. Hallelujah.
-
Oh, I said Hallelujah. So without repentance there is
-
no restoration. Next slide please.
-
I want to take you to the fellow grounds in the parable of the
-
sewer. So let's go to the parable of
-
the sewer and let's read from Matthew.
-
OK, let's go to Luke. What Luke gave us is what I
-
like. Luke 8/11/50, 11 to 15.
-
Luke chapter 811 to 15. Let's take it from the NLT and I
-
will try to end with the parable of the sower.
-
This is the meaning of the parable.
-
The seed is God's word. Next verse.
-
The seeds that fell on the footpath represent those who
-
hear the message, only to have the devil come and take it away
-
from their hearts and prevent them from believing and being
-
saved. Next verse.
-
The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the
-
message and receive it with joy, but since they don't have deep
-
roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they
-
face temptation. The seeds that fell among the
-
thongs represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly
-
the message is crowded out by the cares and the riches and the
-
pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into
-
maturity. And the seas that fell on the
-
good soil represent look at the words he used there.
-
Represent honest, good hearted people.
-
Who hear God's word and they do what?
-
Cling to it and patiently produce what a huge harvest.
-
That is what I want to link up to time now.
-
So we have 4 different kinds of hearts there.
-
Those 4 soils there represent the conditions of our hearts.
-
The first hearts is the footpath.
-
It is hardened and exposed to the enemy, so they also hear.
-
They only hear and they lose their word easily.
-
The footpath is a hardened land, constantly trampled by men and
-
animals, so birds easily notice the seeds because that's ground
-
is exposed and the devil had access to their hearts, so he
-
just came there to steal it. The hearts are exposed to the
-
devil's spray for the devil to pray on the precious seeds.
-
So when your heart is hard, you cannot receive the word, it will
-
be stolen. The second group is the rocky
-
hearts, the rocky soil, They are shallow, they are enthusiastic,
-
but which they come to church. So as we speak now, whenever we
-
preach the word of God, 25% of us will produce fruits.
-
I don't know about you, whenever the word is preached, 75% will
-
not end up in bearing fruits, only 25%.
-
And the reason is that the first one is that the footpath group,
-
their heart is hardened. Urban women, we've got a bouncy
-
off. I pray that may we come to God
-
with a softened heart. The second group is that they
-
are enthusiastic. They hear the message and
-
receive it with joy. Oh preach, oh, preach preacher,
-
oh glory. And and they will start them
-
doing. I'm not saying that those
-
preacher almost sorry, you know, preach preacher.
-
I'm not good, but they are enthusiastic, but they are
-
shallow, very, very shallow. They don't have deep roots and
-
they fall away when there is what temptation.
-
So they are enthusiastic, shallow and weak.
-
They receive with joy. Hallelujah, are you this one?
-
But the moment they go, this time I won't drink again.
-
They will cry and weep. But the moment they go home and
-
they see the star with that sweat and so here, baby, next
-
one. I'm Emre.
-
They always call this the spirit is willing.
-
But Oh God, you know that the flesh the flesh is weak,
-
enthusiastic, but they are weak in the when they attempted.
-
No, they given the third group is the thorny 1 the thorny soil
-
that one, their heart is occupied with thorns.
-
They are crowded. They receive they to the hill,
-
they hear the word. They to the here they hear the
-
word. They hear the word, but too
-
quickly things crowd the word, and then they lose.
-
They lose, they lose it. I pray that we will not lose our
-
hearts. May God give us a good heart so
-
that we will always bear fruits. So they they cannot grow into
-
maturity. There is a competition, the
-
tongues are competing with the seed for nutrients but the
-
tongues were the first occupant. So among when you need a Dada
-
were full, Abuja said. And they have all these sharp,
-
sharp things. So they would choke the wet,
-
which is young, and they will kill it, and they will not grow
-
into maturity. And the first one and the first
-
one is the broken and the plowed land.
-
That one, no tongues, no rocks, nothing.
-
It is not hard, it is soft, it is loose, and they call it good
-
soil. The reason why they are called
-
good soil is that they are honest.
-
They know that God, God, what we are saying, I am at fault.
-
Blessed are the poor in spirits. So this group, they are poor in
-
spirit. They accept that we don't have
-
it all. So God help us.
-
They know they need help. They are good hearted and when
-
they receive the word, he says that they cling to the word.
-
They are receptive and then they patiently produce a harvest.
-
May our hearts be broken. So there will not be like the
-
first train, which is the which is the fallow ground.
-
So by by what I have said so far, the first train, the
-
footpath ground, the rocky soil, the thorny soil, they are fallow
-
grounds because they are still occupants on it.
-
But the first one is a good soil because it has been broken, it
-
has been cleared, all the bad things have been taken away, all
-
tongues are burnt. There are no rocks to interfere
-
with, with with taking roots, and they are nothing but them
-
except good soil which has been exposed to receive a seed.
-
May I have been broken in Jesus name, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
-
So I want to ask you, what competes for your heart?
-
What is competing for your heart?
-
Are you hearing or clinging? Fruitfulness requires brokenness
-
and patience. Next one, next slide.
-
Fruitfulness requires brokenness and patience.
-
James one. Let's see how James admonishes
-
us as way of ending James 1. James 121 and 22.
-
Get therefore get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is
-
so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you which
-
can save you. Next verse.
-
Please do not merely listen to the word and so deceive
-
yourselves. Do what it's do what it what?
-
Let's take the same text from the old man King James.
-
I like how King James puts his wherefore lay apart all
-
filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness.
-
This guy has elevated its super, just a super which is also
-
fluid. It means that it is volatile,
-
very bad until after Falcon naughtiness or size stubborn and
-
receive with meekness the engrafted Word which is able to
-
save your souls. Be ye, but be doers of the Word
-
and not hear us, Only deceiving your own selves.
-
So if you don't break your unplowed guts, you are deceiving
-
yourself. May God have mercy upon us.
-
May God help us to remove every filth and evil, even evil.
-
Evil spirits cry when they get a hat.
-
They sweep the place before they occupy evil spirit.
-
God, this is the one. And evil spirit leaves a person
-
at a point in time, it comes back to come and check if the
-
stick of the hat if he finds that the place has been left
-
that evils read I first found it.
-
We'll see the place clean evils read cry, but no more open.
-
How much more God and go and invite seven others more wicked
-
than itself to occupy it. So if evils read, if you want to
-
occupy good hearts to operate, then our God deserve a much
-
better hearts. So let us remove all fields and
-
break our hearts. Whatever you have left idle for
-
a long time, please go back and let the word of the Lord be sown
-
in your hearts. Follow grounds in COP are
-
intercessory prayers now in the church?
-
It's for himself, God for us. So you hardly hear anybody
-
praying for others. Intercessory prayers has become
-
a fallow ground. Commitment.
-
Commitment in the church has become what a fallow ground God
-
is calling us back to commit ourselves sacrificial giving and
-
paying of tithes. Some of us it has become a
-
fallow ground and the most conspicuous fallow ground is
-
evangelism and discipleship. As for this one will be anpe.
-
We are meeting to go and witness for yet yesterday night when we
-
met here, we were harmony, our harmony 6.
-
We have left it for a long time. May we go back and clear the
-
land of evangelism and let God deal with us.
-
So by ending, we have seen that you need to break up your fallow
-
ground, let repentance lead to restoration and allow God to
-
unlock the potentials in your fallow ground and allow Him to
-
also deal with your weakness as you pray.
-
We are using Isaiah 3215 to pray shall be on our feet as we read
-
it and pray Isaiah chapter 3215. Let's move to the newly living
-
one. NLT Yes, let's all reach
-
together. Ready go until at last the
-
Spirit is poured out on us from heaven.
-
Then the wilderness will become Word, a fertile field, and a
-
fertile field will yield bountiful crops.
-
So we want the Holy Spirit to fall afresh on us as we
-
contribute our path to break up any unplowed ground, the Holy
-
Spirit who will help to break us.
-
So we are praying unto God that oh God, whatever I have drifted
-
away from Indiana, my work with you for a long time.
-
Father, forgive me as I repent and return unto you.
-
Let us talk to the Lord. You know whatever you have left
-
doing for a long time, you yourself, you know anything that
-
God wants you to do for him that you have neglected doing for a
-
long time. Talk to God, that the Lord will
-
be merciful unto us. Whisper a prayer to his ear.
-
Pray, pray, pray unto the Lord anything that you have left
-
undone as a child of God for a long time.
-
We are praying unto Him the Oh God, bring me to the first,
-
where I first believe, to the first relationship that I had
-
with you, my first love, my first love.
-
God is calling us to return on to doing the wax, the first wax,
-
and to the first love. Oh God help us, Oh God help us.
-
Whatever we have left, any unplowed grounds in our
-
Christian work, we pray that, Oh God, bring us back, bring us
-
back, bring us back, bring us back, bring us back.
-
We repent. O God, forgive us, forgive us,
-
forgive us. O Lord, forgive us.
-
O God, forgive us. O God, forgive us.
-
O Lord, forgive us. O Lord, in the name of Jesus.
-
We want to sing this song. After that, we are committing
-
our hearts onto the hands of God that made the Holy Spirit help
-
us to clean our hearts, any aspect of our hearts
-
representing our relationship and communion with God, which we
-
have left to follow. We have left for a long time.
-
We are not attending to them. We want to go back and ask God
-
to clean every rock, every thong, every hardened part, so
-
that it will be loose to receive His word.
-
I surrender all unto Jesus. I surrender unto Him.
-
I freely give. I will ever love and trust.
-
So we want to sing the song. Please sing with meaning.
-
Let's go. I will ever.
-
Love and trust in His presence. Daily I surrender I.
-
Surrender. Oh.
-
I surrender. I surrender.
-
Oh. I surrender, oh oh, to be my.
-
Begin to pray unto the Lord. Surrender your hearts, Lord, we
-
repent of our sins. We repent of our sins.
-
We repent of our sins. We act.
-
The Lord forgive us, Lord, forgive us, Lord, forgive us by
-
repentance. They are heartbroken.
-
Hey. Listen, repentance is the one
-
that actually breaks the ground. Until you don't see the need to
-
repent of what you are doing, you will continually do it.
-
So today we want to repent of anything that we have been doing
-
of drifting away. Anything that you used to do for
-
God and now you have stopped. God is calling you to return
-
unto Him whatever thing that you need to return unto.
-
Showing love to your spouse, showing love to your spouse, you
-
need to return. You need to return in tithes and
-
offerings. You need to return in loving God
-
with all your hearts. What do you have to return?
-
In this morning? As we stand before God, may the
-
Holy Spirit reveal unto us the state of our affairs and our
-
work with Him. What do you need to return in
-
Repent? May repent.
-
May repent the nation after they were adamant to God's call to
-
repent. God eventually punish them.
-
If you fail to repent, a time is coming.
-
God will punish you unless you repent.
-
Unless we repent from doing the way we do church, the way we
-
serve God, we don't have to be superficial.
-
Serving God is not a Sunday affair.
-
It is an everyday relationship with God.
-
You need to return to your personal devotions, reading the
-
Bible for yourself. Hours upon hours we spend on
-
social media, but we don't spend.
-
In the mirror of God checking how do we look before God this
-
morning God is calling us to repent.
-
If you don't eat and you continue to drift a time is
-
coming. You never find your way back to
-
God. Coming to church might be the
-
bedding something to you if you don't repent.
-
Now if we all of us, we need to repent every day.
-
So as we are standing, let the Holy Spirit remind you, Lord, in
-
what do I have to repent? Asking you give you an answer,
-
Lord, in what do I have to repent?
-
Probably you don't even know in what do I have to repent?
-
Talk to God, ask him, Lord, in what do I have to repent and
-
hear the word that you give to you.
-
God wants you to have a good heart.
-
Let's please sit because of our time.
-
I pray Father we thank you in Jesus name.
-
Forgive us Lord for the times that sometimes we drift because
-
of your grace. We think we can do anything we
-
like, but today You have reminded us that there is a day
-
that You will judge us and that You want to show mercy to us,
-
and that You deserve mercy. Help us, O Lord, to get this
-
understanding. Help us, O Lord, that as You
-
have bestowed Your grace upon us, You deserve for us to
-
conform before we perform on Your behalf.
-
Help us to know that You desire our sanctification, not our
-
sacrifice. Help us to break our fallow
-
grounds that we have neglected for a long time and that is
-
causing us to drift away from You.
-
Lord, today we repent of our sins and we say that forgive us
-
as a corporate body, church and as individuals, have mercy upon
-
us. Bring us back to Yourself that
-
we may know You, that we may know You and the power of your
-
resurrection, that we may conform to the image of Your Son
-
and become like him. Lord, as we repent any fallow
-
ground, let it be broken. Make Your word take seed and
-
roots in our hearts and produce fruits.
-
We agree that Lord, we have weaknesses.
-
Help us to diminish them, they are great things in US.
-
Harness them for us as they come forth to shine so that men will
-
see our good deeds and glorify your name.
-
Help us Lord, in Jesus name we have prayed our men.
