-
So our brother Joshua, chairman, will give us the word as we wait
-
on the Holy Spirit to pour on us.
-
Amen. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.
-
We thank God so much for tonight and for how far he's brought us
-
as a church. Amen.
-
Again, I want to say a big thank you to our district pastor, then
-
the executive of English Assembly for given me this
-
opportunity. I don't take it for granted.
-
Thank you very much. Amen.
-
Throughout this year we are focusing on the gospel and the
-
power of the Holy Spirit. The gospel and the power of the
-
Holy Spirit. And so the theme for the Church
-
of Pentecost this year is the church on leash to transform
-
society through the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
Amen. But for this two weeks, 14 days
-
fasting and prayers, we are zooming in on the Holy Ghost.
-
There are two topics, the Gospel and the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
But in this our 14 days fasting, we are focusing on the power of
-
the Holy Ghost. And so the theme for the 14
-
days, as the NC Riley said, the Holy Spirit will come upon you
-
and the power of the Most High will over shadow you.
-
And so tonight I'm speaking about the same theme which have
-
termed the power of the most high.
-
So I'm speaking on the theme the power of the most high.
-
We read our main text from Luke chapter one, verse 35.
-
Luke chapter one, verse 35. And I read the Angel answered,
-
the Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most
-
High will over shadow you. So the Holy One to be born will
-
be called the Son of God. Praise the Lord, the Holy Spirit
-
will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will over
-
shadow you. The power of the host Most High
-
I'm talking about tonight is the Holy Spirit.
-
So the Holy Spirit himself is the power of the Most High.
-
The Angel Gabriel comes to Mary, then gives her a strange
-
salutation and tells them that look, you are going to conceive
-
and you give birth. The son you give birth to will
-
be called the Son of the Most High.
-
This child is going to do this, he's going to do that, he's
-
going to do this. And after giving Mary the news,
-
Mary asks how is this going to be possible?
-
You. For now, let's put aside what
-
the child is going to do. How is it I'm even going to get
-
pregnant in the 1st place because I've not seen any man
-
yet. Then this is the response of the
-
Angel. The Holy Spirit will come upon
-
you and the power of the Most High will over shadow you.
-
What we can learn from this one is that when the Holy Spirit
-
comes upon a man, what we know to be impossible becomes
-
possible. Praise the Lord, when the power
-
of the Most High overshadows a person, there is no limit to
-
possibilities he or she can achieve.
-
OK so this is a young virgin we are talking about and the Angel
-
says you are going to conceive. OK, then she asks, how is this
-
possible? How is this possible?
-
According to the law of reproduction?
-
We know that in you need a man and a woman to be able to
-
conceive. But when the Holy Spirit comes
-
upon someone, when the power of the most highest present, what
-
we know to be impossible becomes possible.
-
Praise the Lord. In normal days we know that yes,
-
when doctors diagnose you with a certain kind of disease, with
-
certain kind of cancers, definitely there is no cure.
-
You are going to die, but with the power of the Holy Spirit
-
there is a cure. Are we together?
-
We know that in our setting, in our economy, on a normal day or
-
in a normal time for a young man it takes about 10 years to be
-
able to settle, work, get some money.
-
But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, that 10 years can be
-
compressed into a year. Are we together?
-
So when the Holy Spirit comes upon a man, there is no limit to
-
possibilities he or she can achieve.
-
And it is my prayer that within this week we will receive the
-
Holy Ghost. Amen.
-
So if you read First Kings chapter 18 verse 40 says First
-
Kings 1840 says Bible says that. And the power of God came upon
-
Elijah and he was able to run past the chariot of Ahab.
-
So my old boy mostly does this analogy.
-
Chariot in those days. OK, in those days one of their
-
fiercest then top notch speed mode of transport was a chariot.
-
If you compare it to our modern day, we are looking at AV 84 by
-
4. Are we together?
-
So on a normal day it is not possible for a human being to
-
run past AV eight. That is speeding.
-
It doesn't happen, it is not possible.
-
But with the power of the Holy Spirit it becomes possible.
-
When the power of the Holy Spirit comes upon a person, it
-
gives the person speed. Whatever you think you cannot
-
achieve, it is attainable. Are we together?
-
And so in Genesis chapter 1, Bible says that the earth was
Genesis 1 chapter mention
-
formless. It was void, and darkness was
-
over the face of the earth. But when the Holy Spirit took
-
darkness as raw material, he was able to produce light.
-
Are we following? I want you to appreciate the
-
power of the Most High. I'm talking about tonight.
-
OK. In Genesis chapter one, there
-
was void, chaos and darkness, but when the Spirit of God came,
-
He made light out of it. This year you will need the Holy
-
Spirit. Listen, your life cannot be
-
darker than it was in Genesis chapter 1.
Genesis 1 chapter mention
-
Neither can it be more chaotic than it was in Genesis chapter
Genesis 1 chapter mention
-
1. But even in the midst of the
-
chaos and uncertainties, when the power of the Most High
-
comes, it becomes possible. Praise the Lord.
-
So Zachariah chapter 4 verse six, there is an interesting
-
message there. Zachariah chapter 4 verses.
-
This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel.
-
It is not by might nor by power, but my spirit says the Lord God.
-
So the question is, what is not by might?
-
What were they doing that God was telling them?
-
That it is not by power, but by my spirit?
-
In those days, the people of Israel, they were involved in so
-
many sins, and so God sold them into captivity.
-
He allowed the king of Babylon to capture them.
-
And so Israel was spread into captivity, into many nations.
-
The beautiful temple that Solomon built was destroyed.
-
The city gates were all broken down.
-
And so after so many years in captivity, the Lord had mercy on
-
His people and brought them back to Jerusalem.
-
And so when they came back to Jerusalem, they decided to build
-
the temple that has been destroyed.
-
And so when they started building the temple, Bible said
-
they laid the foundation. After laying the foundation,
-
that opposition started. The nations around them started
-
opposing them. We will not let you build this.
-
The opposition was so strong that they wrote letters to even
-
the governor to put a ban on the building of the temple.
-
And so in this opposition, then chaos, then the word of the Lord
-
came to Zakaria and this is the word of the Lord.
-
He says Tell Zerubbabel that this temple will be completed.
-
No one is going to hinder the progress of this temple.
-
It will surely be completed. Are we together?
-
OK? Not even the mountains can stand
-
before you, Zerubbabel. And how are you going to achieve
-
this? And he's telling him it is not
-
by might, it is not by power. You are going to build the
-
temple not from your military ability or your intellect.
-
But then it is by the Spirit of God.
-
Praise the Lord. This year I came to tell you
-
that it is not by might this year.
-
It is not by your intellect. It is not by your wisdom or your
-
schooling. It is by the Spirit of God.
-
If we'll be able to possess the nation's, if we'll be able to
-
influence us as fears, as children of God, we will need
-
the Spirit of God in our Christian journey.
-
If we'll be able to survive in this darkness and in this world
-
where compromise is too much, if we'll be able to stand our
-
grounds and not be wary, it is by the Spirit of God, praise the
-
Lord. It is not by might, it is not by
-
power, but by the Spirit, says the Lord God.
-
And so quickly I want to share a few thoughts about the Holy
-
Spirit. Who is he?
-
Then we'll look at the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
-
Then we can pray. So who is the Holy Spirit?
-
The Holy Spirit is God living with man.
-
He is God living with man. He is the third person of the
-
Godhead, and the Holy Spirit is God himself.
-
You see, right from the beginning, right from creation,
-
God has always wanted a way to live with man.
-
And so in Genesis, Bible says that God will visit man every
-
day in the cool of the day until man fell.
-
So in the Old Testament, God was visiting His people by the act
-
of the Lord. That was the presence of the
-
Lord with his people. And so whenever the act of the
-
Lord was taken from Israel, you see that the people of Israel
-
becomes the step. Why?
-
Because the presence of the Lord was taken from them.
-
Because in the Old Testament, what was with his people by the
-
presence of the ark, we come to the New Testament and God is is
-
with his people through the person of Jesus Christ.
-
And so when Jesus was around, his disciples were not lacking
-
anything. One of the days the Pharisees
-
came to him and asked him that why is it that you, your
-
disciples, they are not fasting, they are always chilling, they
-
are eating, hey, but we are fasting, we are, we are tiring.
-
Then Jesus told him that who stays with the bridegroom and
-
gets hungry? It is not possible.
-
So at that era, Jesus, God was with his people in the person of
-
Jesus Christ. But in our time, God is with us
-
through the person of the Holy Spirit.
-
And so the Holy Spirit is called with us.
-
Praise the Lord, Hallelujah, are we together, Right.
-
And so when Jesus was done with his earthly ministry and he was
-
going, He gave a promise to us. OK, so John chapter 14 will read
John 14 chapter mention
-
the verse 16 to 17. John chapter 14 will read the
John 14 chapter mention
-
verse 16 and 17. And this is Jesus speaking and I
-
will ask the Father and he will give you another advocate, other
-
version says another comforter or another helper to help you
-
and to be with you forever. Now who is this helper?
-
Jesus is talking about the next phase, the spirit of truth.
-
Hello. Jesus has done with his earthly
-
ministry and his living. Then he's giving his disciples a
-
promise that I will ask the Father to give you another
-
comforter, another advocate, and that advocate, he's saying that
-
it is the spirit of truth. We continue, the world cannot
-
accept Him because it's neither sees Him nor knows Him.
-
Praise the Lord, this spirit. We are talking about, this power
-
of the Holy Ghost. The earthly people or the world
-
cannot accept Him. The reason why they can't accept
-
him is because they don't know Him.
-
And because they don't know him, they can't accept him.
-
And so no wonder when we speak in tongues, people don't
-
understand. When we pray in the Holy Ghost,
-
they don't understand because they don't know the Spirit we
-
have received. And because they don't know the
-
Spirit, they can't accept him. But thanks be to God that you
-
and I, we know him. Praise the Lord you and I, we
-
know this power of the Holy Ghost, and he's with us.
-
He's with us. But the challenge is that even
-
though we know the Holy Spirit, we've relegated his ministry.
-
We've not appreciated the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
-
Yes, we know the Holy Spirit, We've been born again, and many
-
of us speak in tongues. But then we tend not to
-
appreciate the ministry of the Holy Ghost.
-
We've relegated the ministry of the Holy Ghost to the clergy.
-
Yejama sophomore. When it comes to the things of
-
God, the things of the Spirit, we've left it to the men of God.
-
Then the prophets. No, it's not supposed to be so.
-
The promise of the Spirit was given to all of us, and not just
-
the clergy. Are we together.
-
The promise of the Holy Spirit was given to you and I, every
-
believer. And so if you read Joel chapter
-
2, verse 28, Bible says that, and it shall come to pass
-
afterwards, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, upon
-
everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
The promise of the Spirit is for you.
-
And so tonight it is my prayer that we will appreciate this
-
person of the Holy Spirit. We will appreciate his presence
-
in our lives, then the ministry he carries, Amen.
-
Praise the Lord so quickly. I want to talk about the
-
ministry of the Holy Spirit. There's the Holy Spirit with us.
-
What is his ministry? He, the roles he plays, there
-
are a lot of them, but essentially I'll talk about
-
four. I'll talk about four.
-
One is direction, 2 guidance, 3 is revelation, and the fourth
-
one is empowerment. Praise the Lord and so quickly
-
we'll take them one by one. Then we go through, but I'll
-
take the first to direction and guidance.
-
So the Holy Spirit is given to us believers to direct and also
-
to guide us. Let me try and distinguish
-
between direction and guidance. So direction, focus on the
-
destination. OK, in case let's say you are
-
going to the Akram mode and I want to direct you, the
-
direction is when you get to the Blazon St. you take your left,
-
you get to Manette, you use the Sprinters Rd.
-
So I'm directing you, OK, Your focus or the focus is the
-
destination. But when it comes to guidance,
-
guidance is with you every step of the way.
-
Guidance focuses on the step by step how to get to AKA mall
-
direction. I've given you past year, past
-
year past year. But with guidance it is more
-
like OK, when you get to this junction, take care for this
-
place is a free route and so you can speed.
-
But when you get to this junction, take care here is a
-
bit slippery. Do this, don't do this, do this,
-
don't do this. That is guidance to lead you to
-
the destination. Are we together OK.
-
And so this is the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives, to
-
direct and to guide us. Sometimes you may have, you
-
will, you may receive an opportunity, then the Holy
-
Spirit will tell you, wait, this opportunity is OK.
-
It looks juicy, but this person has wickedness in his heart.
-
So don't accept this one. It is guidance from the Holy
-
Spirit. You may get an opportunity.
-
This one there, it doesn't look good.
-
The Holy Spirit will tell you that.
-
Patronize this one in the next year or two.
-
It is going to survive. It is guidance from the Spirit,
-
our way together. Oh, praise the Lord, Hallelujah.
-
So Psalm 32, verse 8, Psalm 32, verse 8, the Lord says, I will
-
guide you along the best parts of your life.
-
Listen, this is the word of the Lord to us if we are going to
-
appreciate the Holy Spirit and His ministry within us.
-
This is what the Bible is saying.
-
I will guide you along the best parts for your life.
-
And this year, if we are going to appreciate the Holy Spirit,
-
then heed to His leadings. He's going to guide us through
-
the best, best parts of our lives.
-
And I will advise you and watch over you.
-
Praise the Lord. This is the ministry of the Holy
-
Spirit. He is given to us to direct our
-
path, to guide us through every step of the way, and also to
-
advise us. John chapter 16 verse stating.
John 16 chapter mention
-
John chapter 16 verse stating when the Spirit of truth comes,
John 16 chapter mention
-
we are still talking about the Holy Spirit.
-
When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all
-
truth. So the Holy Spirit is also
-
called the Spirit of truth. He will guide you into all
-
truth. He will guide you into all
-
knowledge. Bible says that He will remind
-
us of the things of which Jesus Christ talked about.
-
Praise the Lord, He will not speak on His own, but He will
-
tell you what He has heard. He will tell you about the
-
future. And so in this year, if you are
-
going to heed to the Holy Ghost, He is going to tell you about
-
the future. The year looks uncertain after
-
31st. I was on social media, there
-
were a whole lot of prophecies if you really followed them.
-
OK, this one saying this, this one saying that, this one saying
-
this. A whole lot of uncertainties
-
than anxiety. But the point is that like I
-
said, it is not by bite. If you are going to rely on the
-
Holy Spirit, He will guide you through the best part of your
-
life. He is going to advise you and He
-
will tell you about the future. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah,
-
Amen. But the challenge is that
-
sometimes the leadings and the directions of the Holy Ghost is
-
not pleasant. Sometimes the Holy Spirit gives
-
you a directions or tell you to do something.
-
Then it is very difficult. And so Matthew chapter 4 verse
Matthew 4 chapter mention
-
one Bible says that then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the
-
wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
-
Jesus was led by the Spirit from the city into the wilderness.
-
If you read Acts Bible says that Philip was also led by the
-
spirits into the desert. OK these people all left the
-
comforts of or their comfort zones by the direction of the
-
Holy Spirit to go into the wilderness.
-
Acts chapter 16 verse 9 Bible says that Paul and Silas were
-
also directed these people own is quite interesting.
-
So Paul decides to go and preach the word of God in a certain
-
city. Then the Holy Spirit tells him
-
that no, this one don't go. Then he says OK let me go to
-
CCB. The Holy Spirit says no, don't
-
go. Then the Holy Spirit himself
-
comes to tell him that go to Macedonia.
-
So the Holy Spirit has clearly instructed them to go to
-
Macedonia. They go to Macedonia, they are
-
preaching the gospel and what happens to them They are being
-
arrested, they are beaten. Then they are put into prison.
-
Sometimes the directions of the Holy Ghost is not pleasant.
-
It is a difficult thing to bear, but the good thing is that when
-
you are able to bear it, that is where the result is seen.
-
Praise the Lord, Hallelujah. And so Paul and Sellers, when
-
they went to Macedonia, yes, they were beaten, they were in
-
prison. But then it brought about
-
salvation for the prisoner God and his whole household.
-
When Jesus was led into the world and his Bible says that he
-
returned back in the Spirit of the Lord, and news about him
-
spread everywhere. So even though sometimes the
-
leading of the Spirit is not pleasant, that is what is going
-
to produce the result. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.
-
The third one, the third ministry of the Holy Spirit.
-
Revelation. Revelation.
-
So the Holy Spirit is the revealer of the Word.
-
The Holy Spirit is the revealer of the word of God.
-
You see, if you take the Bible, then you decide to read the
-
Bible on your own. What the only thing you are
-
going to read? So the Bible is more like a
-
history book. You find history, you find
-
archaeology, you find literature, you find poetry.
-
OK, but even though it is true the Bible is a history book,
-
there is a bit of poetry inside, there is archaeology inside,
-
there is all those things inside.
-
Yes, still the Bible is the word of God.
-
It is the word the Bible says. It was used to create the whole
-
world. And it is by this same word that
-
the world has been promised to an end, our way together.
-
And so to get deeper understanding into the Word of
-
God, you need the Holy Spirit. The Bible was never meant to be
-
read with intellect alone. No, if you take the Bible, then
-
you read with your intellects. The only thing you are going to
-
discover, like I said is history.
-
A certain people about 2000 years ago were doing this, were
-
doing that archaeology and all that.
-
But when the Spirit comes upon you, he reveals the word to you.
-
Amen. And so Paul understanding this
-
when he was praying to the people of Ephesians, let's read
-
Ephesians chapter one verse 17, then 18.
-
Paul was praying for the church in Ephesians and this was his
-
prayer. Ephesians chapter one verse 17.
-
I keep asking that God, our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious
-
Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation.
-
Why is Paul praying that God gives the church the spirit of
-
wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better, praise
-
the Lord so even to know God and appreciate him better.
-
To have a good relationship with the Lord, you need the Spirit.
-
You need the Spirit. The verse 18.
-
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in
-
order that you may know the hope to which he has called you.
-
OK, without the Holy Spirit you'll be in church.
-
Then every little doctrine will swear you away, every little
-
challenge. You'll be like, Charlie, me cram
-
my bread, let me go my somewhere because you wouldn't know the
-
hope to which you have been called to.
-
It is the Spirit that teaches us distance.
-
Praise the Lord. First Corinthians chapter 2,
-
verse 9 to 12. Let's quickly read that one.
-
First Corinthians chapter 2, verse 9 to 12.
-
However, as it is, as it is written, what no eye has seen,
-
what no ear has had, and what no human mind has conceived, the
-
things God has prepared for those who love him the best
-
thing. These are the things God has
-
revealed to us. So God has revealed to us by His
-
Spirit things that has no eye has seen, no ear has had, or
-
entered into the minds of people.
-
God has revealed these things to us by His Spirit.
-
OK, so revelation is by the Spirit of God, the Spirit, such
-
as all things, even the deep things of God.
-
And so all forms of revelation being as prophetic being at the
-
word or any revelation you can think about, it is the Holy
-
Spirit that gives that revelation.
-
Praise the Lord, Hallelujah, the Spirit, such as the deep things
-
of God, the best leaven. For who knows a person's
-
thoughts except their own spirit within them?
-
Even as we are seated here, a lot of us have certain memories
-
and certain thoughts in our heads.
-
Some of some of us, we have certain memories that we wish
-
nobody would know. We want to take them to our
-
grave. The only person who knows such
-
memories and such thoughts, it is your own spirit.
-
So Bible says that for who knows a person's thoughts accept their
-
own spirit within them. In the same way no one knows the
-
thought of God except the Spirit of God.
-
And so if you see any man telling or talking about the
-
things of God, telling you about the mind of God, he is not
-
Speaking of his own accord. It is by the Spirit, praise the
-
Lord. In the same way, if you want to
-
know the thought of God for your life, for this year, for your
-
career, whatever you are doing, it is the Holy Spirit that is
-
going to teach you, because the Spirit searches the deep things
-
of God. Let's do the best to all.
-
What we have received is not the spirit of this world.
-
The power of the Holy Ghost that I'm talking about tonight is not
-
from this world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may
-
understand what God has freely given unto us, so that we may
-
understand what God has freely given unto us.
-
You see, when one becomes a believer, there are so many
-
blessings or opportunities God bestows upon the person.
-
And so Bible says that He has blessed us in Christ with all
-
spiritual blessings. OK, but without the Spirit you
-
will never know the things that God has freely given unto you.
-
And so Bible says that without knowledge my people perish.
-
It is the Holy Spirit that is going to give you this
-
knowledge. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah.
-
Tonight it is my prayer that will appreciate the Holy Spirit
-
would appreciate his role in our life than the ministry he bears.
-
So the Holy Spirit also reveals the will of God to us, OK, If we
-
want to experience the power of God, the power of God is
-
demonstrated where the will of God is, OK?
-
So if you are praying about something and it is the will of
-
God, OK, the power of God is demonstrated because that is
-
what God will says, and it is the Holy Spirit that will tell
-
you about the will of God. I'll talk about the last one,
-
the last rule of the Holy Spirit.
-
That is empowerment. Empowerment.
-
So it is the Holy Spirit that gives people power.
-
When I started from the beginning, I mentioned a couple
-
of people that did extraordinary things when the Holy Spirit came
-
upon them. The Holy Spirit is the custodian
-
and the administrator of the anointing.
-
OK, so Bible says that look at how God anointed Jesus Christ
-
with the Holy Ghost and with power.
-
And after that empowerment Bible says that he went about doing
-
good. OK, if you need authority to do
-
good, it is by the Spirit of God.
-
If you see someone laying hands on somebody, then the person
-
getting delivered, it is not by their own minds, it is by the
-
power of the Holy Spirit, Praise the Lord.
-
The Holy Spirit gives authority to men.
-
He gives authority to men. And so this year, even as we
-
wait on the Lord in this 14 days fasting and prayers, it is my
-
prayer that will appreciate this Holy Spirit we are talking
-
about. He's the custodian of power.
-
He's the one that is going to distinguish us from every other
-
person. He's the one that is going to
-
make our dreams come true. He's the one that is going to
-
produce unprecedented results in our life.
-
Praise the Lord, Hallelujah. And so I'll conclude by saying
-
that in this era, we did the Holy Ghost.
-
In this our era, we need the Holy Ghost.
-
We can't do without the Holy Ghost.
-
We can't do without the Holy Ghost.
-
We can't possess the nations without the Holy Ghost.
-
You can't influence your sphere without the Holy Ghost.
-
You can't achieve unprecedented results without the Holy Ghost.
-
With our economy, if you say you are doing by your strength, you
-
will feel OK. There is an interesting
-
scripture in Psalm. It says that it is unwise to
-
wake up early in the hour, work throughout the whole day, then
-
come and eat. It gives a certain bread.
-
Then he says that, but to his people does he love, he gives
-
rest. What the Scripture is trying to
-
say that with your own might you may wake up early in the
-
morning, at dawn, work the whole day.
-
You come back, you'll be tired, but then it will fetch you only
-
little. But to the people that God
-
laughs and they are pleasing to him, He gives them rest, He
-
gives them comfort. And those are the people that
-
heed to the Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord tonight.
-
May the Lord bless us and may we appreciate the ministry of the
-
Holy Spirit in our lives. Amen.
-
Amen. So shall we.
-
Please be outstanding. We are going to pray with
-
listening to the Word of God. I began by saying that when the
-
power of the Most High comes upon a person, there is no limit
-
to the possibilities he or she can achieve.
-
The Spirit has come forever to abide.
-
I have Pentecost in mind. The spirit has come forever to
-
abide. I have pentacles in my.
-
I have pentacles in my soul. Yeah, I have pentacles in my
-
soul. Yeah, the spirit has come.
-
I'm forever to. Yeah, I have pentacles in.
-
The spirit has come, I'm forever to.
-
I have pentacles in. I have pentacles in my soul.
-
Hey, I have pentacles in my soul.
-
The spirit, the spirit has come forever to abide.
-
I have pentacles, Spirit has come forever.
-
Hey, I have plenty. Cause Mary asked the Angel.
-
How can this be? And the Angel responded.
-
The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most
-
High will over shadow you. Tonight we want to pray, but for
-
one thing, that the Holy Spirit should come upon us.
-
The power of the Most High should over shadow us.
-
Lift up your voice and bring. Lift up your voice and pray.
-
The Holy Spirit should come upon us.
-
We are. Praying for the Holy Ghost.
-
We are praying for the Holy Ghost.
-
We are praying for the Holy Ghost.
-
We are praying for the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.
-
The presence of the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Holy Spirit
-
in the name of Jesus test. Mini Mini Mini, Mini Mini, Mini,
-
Mini Mini. Yeah.
-
In the name of. Jesus, in the name of Jesus,
-
this year, if there is anything you want to pray for, it should
-
be the Holy Spirit. It should be the Holy Spirit.
-
I said that when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, there is no
-
limit to possibilities. Whoever thought that a young man
-
going to look for his father's ship would then become the King
-
of Israel? So I was only a young man
-
looking for his father's ship. But by the Spirit of God, he
-
became the king of Israel. And Bible says that he even
-
thought he was one of the prophets because he was
-
prophesying. It was by the Spirit of God.
-
I've told you how Elijah was able to run past the Chariots of
-
Ahab. It was by the Spirit of God.
-
People who have achieved unprecedented feats in the
-
Bible, they are all through the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
And so tonight we want to pray again.
-
We are praying for the power of the Holy Spirit, that the Holy
-
Spirit should over shadow us this year.
-
If there is anything you will it the most, it should be the Holy
-
Spirit. Open your mouth and pray.
-
Open your mouth and pray. We are praying that the Holy
-
Spirit will abide with us. The Holy Spirit will abide with
-
us. The Holy Spirit will abide with
-
us in the name of Jesus. It is not by mind, it is not by
-
power, but by the Spirit of God. It is by the Spirit of God.
-
It is by the Spirit of God. It is by the Spirit of God in La

It is by the spirit of call. It is by the spirit of call.

-
We've learnt that one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is
-
direction and guidance. Direction and guidance.
-
We are praying talent. Call that in this year.
-
He Himself should direct us. The Spirit of the Lord Himself
-
should guide us. He says that I will advise you
-
and I will guide you to the best parts of your life.
-
Lift up your voice that this year the Lord should guide us.
-
The Lord should guide us through.
-
The Lord should guide us. Through Open your mouths and
-
pray in the name of Jesus, we pray for divine guidance.
-
We will not miss our providential way in the name of
-
Jesus. We pray for direction.
-
We pray for Titus. We pray for revelation.
-
We pray for empowerment in the name of Jesus, in the name of
-
Jesus. In
-
the name of Jesus. Shall we please resume our
-
seats? And so, Father, in the name of
-
Jesus, we thank you, we give you so much glory for tonight and
-
for your word. We thank you for making us
-
understand the power of the Holy Spirit and that when the Holy
-
Spirit comes upon us, there is no limitation to the height we
-
can achieve. Father, we pray commanding
-
ourselves into your hands, that if some of us by any means we've
-
relegated the ministry of the Holy Ghost up to date, Bible
-
says that by reason of the West we've had, we've been purified.
-
Tonight we pray for mercy and we pray that you fill us with the
-
Holy Spirit one more time. Tonight it is our prayer that
-
the Holy Spirit will come upon us and the power of the Holy
-
Ghost will over shadow us. It is our prayer that after this
-
week, after this 14 days fasting and prayers, people who see us
-
and they will know that indeed we have been with you because
-
the power of the most time would over shadow us.
-
We pray committing ourselves into your hands once again that
-
give us on common grace that will yield to the leadings of
-
the Spirit when it gets to a time that it is tough to lead to
-
adhere to the leaders of the Spirit.
-
We pray for grace that will be obedient to the Spirit and reap
-
the benefits thereof. We thank you once again for
-
tonight in Jesus name, Amen. Praise the Lord please.
-
How many of us have been blessed tonight?
-
Yes. So please, what do we say to our
-
brother Joshua? God bless you.
