the topic, church culture, church culture.

So it's in the ministerial book of our church, church culture.

So before I start with the main topic, we want to look at what

They all have their culture. So before you are able, you'll

be able to fit in, you must know their culture and abide by it.

So the same thing applies to us as a church.

So in a in Church of Pentecost, we also have our culture and we

also have a shared beliefs. We have our values, we have our

attitudes, we have our practices that shape how we worship,

behave, and relate to one another and to God.

So when I come back to the main topic.

So church culture is the way things are done in the church.

Hallelujah. So, and what we are about to

learn is part of our core practices as a church.

So somebody may ask her, why is it necessary for us to know this

church's culture? Yes, it's necessary because when

we study our culture or when we are equipped with our culture,

it guides new converts and members.

Day in and day out. Members go in, members come in,

some come in with their own doctrines, some come in with

their own teachings. So when we teach our culture,

they will be able to understand what really happens in the

is a need for us to know our church culture.

And another reason why we need to study our church culture is

that it shapes our behavior and helps us to know how to conduct

ourselves in the church. It also helps us to have a clear

idea about what is allowed in the church or what is permitted

in the church and what is not permitted in the church.

And another point is that it preserves the biblical values

that is called church culture rooted in Scripture ensures that

the church stays faithful to the word of God and not worldly

practices. So we want to delve into the

church's culture one by one. What I have here is about 19.

So. So the first one is that a self

supporting attitude, Self supporting attitude.

It means that our church is able to provide for its own needs,

financially and materially, true faithful giving and service of

its members without depending on external aid.

So in the Church of Pentecost or before the inception of our

church, there was a prophecy that's the Lord in His own ways

will provide for our church through our members.

He will use our members to provide for our church, and He

will raise financial giants to support our church.

And indeed, it is true for our church.

utilities and everything is done by the church.

from maybe foreign countries. Ghana.

another thing is faithfulness and integrity.

So when it comes to faithfulness, it means that the

church members are urged to be faithful in everything.

Our church, we urge church members to be faithful in

everything, faithful in worship, faithful in service, faithful in

paying tithe, faithful in in the relationship with their spouse,

faithful in faith despite challenges.

So when you read First Corinthians chapter 4, verse 2,

1 Corinthians 4:2

it says that it is required that those who have been given a

trust must prove faithful. So as we've been called into

this church, as leaders, we must be faithful in everything.

And another point that I raised was that integrity.

So integrity is being honest and transparent, that is living the

same Christian life in public and private.

So when no one is watching, the church expects us to live just

one life, not double life in public.

What we live in public, when we are in private too, we should

live that life rejecting corruption, hypocrisy, and

favoritism. So the church always want us to

be faithful in all our things. The Third Point is that

distinctive in prayer, our church, we are distinctive in

prayer. That is the church places high

priority on prayer. So we in our church, we pray all

forms of prayer. We pray Thanksgiving, prayer,

prayer of intercession, supplication, confession.

So when you come to Pentacles, Pentacles is a prayer church.

Yes, it's a prayer church. We have regular prayer meetings.

We fast last two weeks, 14 days. We fasted and members too are

encouraged to pray personally. We will don't believe in pray

and emotionally, we build unity, love and brotherhood.

That is what we do in our church.

Yes, we fellowship. We do everything together.

Bible says they devoted themselves to the apostle

teachings and to fellowship and to breaking of bread.

We speak respectfully about our leaders and church's decision.

So we as ministers, whenever there is a decision from the

chairman, the Executive Council, we don't oppose it.

We support them and we, we, we support every decision taking

over there. So in our church, respect for

authority is we must always respect our authority,

Although we are not from the same tribe, but in Christ we are

So the next point is sacrificial service to the church without

pecuniary reward. Sacrificial service to the
