-
Here are facts free. Who is going to tell the Lord
-
this morning that Father, I'm ready, send me, send me.
-
And this is what the Master is looking for as this Gentile want
-
us to prepare our hearts, our mind, as we receive the mind of
-
God, we receive what God has for us this morning.
-
And we have no other person than our own Elder, EDA Kenneth
-
Abernamsea. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah,
-
Hallelujah. This morning we want to thank
-
God for the gift of life. I am thanking God on behalf of
-
all of us, and I also like want to thank our district pastor, my
-
presiding order, and then the local presbytery for this
-
opportunity. I am grateful and I don't take
-
it lightly. So this morning the Lord has
-
placed something in my heart that I want to share with you.
-
It's going to be brief. So therefore, I want you to pay
-
so much attention so that whatever the Lord has for you,
-
you benefit from it. Hallelujah.
-
So today we are going to talk about salvation.
-
That is the tune. Salvation.
-
Can you say salvation? Salvation.
-
Amen. But I would like to take a topic
-
and the topic I want us to look at as you, you, you.
-
You are safe. You are saved.
-
But who are you saving? Hallelujah.
-
Please turn and ask your brother and sister.
-
You are safe, but who are you saving?
-
I can't hear you. Please, I want to hear it again.
-
This one is very dear to my heart, very, very dear to my
-
heart. So I want you to listen to what
-
God has for you. So when you talk about save or
-
salvation, salvation is a gift from God.
-
Amen. Salvation.
-
It's a gift from God. You and I are safe, not because
-
you are so handsome, you are so beautiful, you are so rich, or
-
because you are coming from a particular family, but it's true
-
the grace that you and I are saved this morning.
-
Amen. But as I said, the question is
-
you are safe, but who are you saving?
-
That is my question, who are you saving?
-
So we are going to look at some few things that the Lord want us
-
to share together for you and I. We are all agree all we know
-
that it costs heaven everything. It costs heaven everything.
-
If I mean everything, I mean everything.
-
It cause heaven everything for you and I to be safe as a
-
church. If I said it cause heaven
-
everything. I'm trying to say that God has
-
given Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ has given his life.
-
And the Holy Spirit is still. Drawing souls so.
-
Jesus Christ. Is what I refer to as our
-
salvation has caused heaven everything you can imagine.
-
The love. That God has for us.
-
So this morning what I'm trying to say is that you are safe.
-
I am safe, But who are you saving?
-
Jesus. God has given us.
-
Jesus Christ come and save us. But the Bible says that he did
-
not just say he did not save us, but salvation comes with what
-
responsibility? Hallelujah.
-
Tell your sister, tell your brother salvation comes with
-
responsibility and what are these responsibilities when you
-
read the book of March 28, March 28, verse 19.
-
Kindly project that side for us. March 28, verse 19.
-
OK, Therefore go and make disciples of all nations
-
baptized, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
-
Son and of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah.
-
So this is what I'm saying, that salvation comes with
-
responsibility. The Bible or God did not say
-
that. Go and sit down.
-
He says that. Go.
-
Therefore Jesus did not say that stay.
-
He said go, therefore many. Of us.
-
Here are comfortable sitting in the church.
-
We are just comfortable sitting, coming to church, dressing,
-
looking so good just for people to see and come and sit here and
-
get up and go. But that is a mandate that has
-
been given to us through the salvation.
-
We are also been asked to go there and make us we write.
-
God did not say come. And sit down.
-
God did not say just walk. Into the church alone and go
-
back. But God has given us an
-
assignment that go, go, he didn't say come and sit in the
-
church. So we have a.
-
Responsibility to play, and that is to serve.
-
Jesus Christ has. Served us, and he's asking us to
-
serve. And that's why I'm saying that
-
you and I have been saved. By whom are we saving?
-
The world is. Dying people are dying in sins.
-
Hello, people are dying in sin. People are dying in sin.
-
Therefore, there is a need for us as children of God to go out
-
there and save them. And let me.
-
Tell you this, let me let me say this A dangerous a Christian, a
-
silent Christian take my words a silent Christian is a dangerous
-
Christian do you agree with me I will explain A silent Christian
-
is a dangerous Christian I am saying this because.
-
When I said. A silent Christian is a
-
dangerous Christian, I did not mean to say.
-
You are Violet. You are bad.
-
You cause troubles. That's not what I'm trying to
-
say. But what I'm trying to say is
-
that a Christian who keeps quiet about their faith, a Christian
-
who keeps quiet about their faith.
-
If you are quiet as a Christian, you cannot go out to preach the
-
gospel. You are a dangerous Christian.
-
A Christian who? Cannot be faithful who cannot
-
speak for his faith is very dangerous.
-
A Christian who cannot speak about the gospel is a dangerous
-
Christian. Hello.
-
Do you agree with me? If you are silent, you are a
-
dangerous Christian. That's what the Bible is saying.
-
We can. We can get that from.
-
Yes, so we can get that from the I'll get it for you.
-
But what I'm trying to say is that a Christian who avoid
-
defending the truth, it's it's very dangerous.
-
You cannot speak for the truth. You cannot speak against the
-
wrong. OK, so then what makes you
-
different? But the Bible is telling us that
-
we. Have been saved.
-
We have been safe and therefore. We need to.
-
Defend the faith. We need to be truthful.
-
To our God. And the gospel must go out
-
there. Who is going to preach the
-
gospel? Who is going to preach the
-
gospel? So when you find yourself in
-
this, in this situation, why you cannot preach the gospel, you
-
cannot speak. Against Rome.
-
You cannot defend the truth, then your spiritual, your
-
spiritual growth is very questionable.
-
You need to answer or you need to question yourself where you
-
are going. And that is why I am saying that
-
a silent Christian is very dangerous if you cannot defend
-
your faith, if you cannot preach the gospel, if you cannot share
-
the gospel. With the dinosaurs out there.
-
Then your Christianity is in danger.
-
You'll be safe. Doesn't mean that you should
-
come and sit in the church only No, you have a responsibility
-
and that responsibility is what Matthew 20 that.
-
God did not ask us to. Sit, he said.
-
Go, go, go. Hallelujah.
-
So we are going to read from the book of Matthew chapter 5, verse
-
14 to 16. Matthew chapter 5, verse 14 to
-
15. OK, you are the light of the
-
world. A town built on a hill cannot be
-
hidden. Please go on.
-
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bow.
-
A bow. Instead, they put it on its
-
stands and it gives light to everyone in the house.
-
In the same way, let your light. Shine before others that they
-
may see your good deeds and glorify your God in heaven, your
-
Father in heaven, Amen. So how will people glorify God
-
if you cannot testify? The goodness of God If you
-
cannot tell someone that God loves you, it is God who saved
-
me. Had you not been God, I would
-
have been an armed robber. I would have been the worst
-
person if you. Do not go out that.
-
Town. Who else?
-
And the Bible is saying that we are light.
-
Once you've accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, you don't
-
need to hide your identity, and the gospel is your identity.
-
We need to go out there and save the dying souls.
-
But let me. Say this once again, if I said a
-
dangerous or a silent Christian, it's dangerous.
-
In other words, sometimes you need to be silenced.
-
OK, there are times that you need to be silenced.
-
There are times that you need to be silenced.
-
Sometimes wisdom needs or requires some kind of silence.
-
It's not everything that you have to just jump in and say it.
-
When you're talking, you should know what you're talking about.
-
You should think about it before you say it.
-
So sometimes silence is good, but when you are silent about
-
the gospel, if you are silence. About the.
-
Truth. That means you are a dangerous
-
Christian and you need to watch out.
-
Hallelujah. So now let's go back to what I
-
mean by you are called safe. You are safe and you are called
-
safe as well. So as I said, hell is real.
-
Hell is real. I want you to turn and tell your
-
brother sister that hell is real.
-
Hell is real and time is coming. Or running out.
-
How shall they hear without a preacher?
-
So we read that one from Romans chapter 10, verse 14.
-
Romans chapter 10, verse 14. Romans chapter 10 verse 14.
-
So how then can they hear? Can they call on the one that
-
How can? How then can they call on the
-
1:00 they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the
-
one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without
-
someone preaching to them? Amen.
-
I think it's enough. The Bible is saying that.
-
The world is. Dying with sin.
-
Each and. Every day.
-
People are dying. In sin now.
-
Why are we there? Why are we there?
-
We have been safe and people are dying in sin, but God has given.
-
Us a mandate. To go out there and save and
-
save. The dinosaurs.
-
But you and I what? Do we do?
-
Who are we? Who are you saving?
-
Who are you saving today? We are fortunate to have the
-
opportunity to go out there and evangelize, but I think that is
-
not enough. We should make evangelism as
-
part of our daily lives. Evangelism should be part of our
-
daily life because souls are parenting and they need to hear
-
the gospel and about. Saying that, how can they
-
believe when they've not? Heard how?
-
Would they believe people are dying in sin They don't know
-
that there is a savior anywhere Also where it is the duty of.
-
You and I. To go out there and introduce
-
Jesus Christ to them. Do we have testimony to testify
-
about the goodness of God? Yes, of course.
-
We have. A lot of testimonies.
-
We can testify so much about the goodness of God, but do we
-
testify to the dinosaurs? Do we care about the the
-
dinosaurs? This is a question that.
-
You have to ask yourself as I. Say.
-
As a believer, you have received salvation.
-
Have you shared that same love with your brother out there?
-
Amen. So you.
-
And I there will be a. Time.
-
There will be a time. That.
-
God will be asking us. God will be.
-
Asking you and I. There's a.
-
Purpose of he putting you in that family.
-
God has a reason of giving you that job.
-
There is a reason why God place you in that community, if that
-
community or if that your brother, your sister, your
-
friend, your coworker is perishing.
-
And you keep silent. God who asks?
-
You and I, I have given you a mandate.
-
Have you executed that mandates? That is why this morning I want.
-
To. Draw your attention that God has
-
given us mandates that are your. Brother, your sister.
-
The community you live. Within.
-
People are dying in sin. You cannot deny that you are not
-
aware of it, but. What do you do about it?
-
What have you done about it? This.
-
Morning God. Just want me to remind you that
-
we have a responsibility to play.
-
Salvation come with responsibility, Hallelujah.
-
And that responsibility is to go out there and declare the love
-
of God to the dinosaurs yesterday.
-
So let me say this, you know. It's not easy, but when you look
-
at the sacrifice that Jesus Christ has.
-
Made on our. Behalf and that's why I said
-
that our salvation. Cause heaven, everything,
-
because Jesus was given out for us to be safe.
-
Amen. So if there's a sacrifice for
-
you and not to be safe, you and I need to.
-
Sacrifice for the dying soul to. Be safe and therefore what are
-
we doing yesterday like. This.
-
Myself and my. Boss Williams and then I come
-
here. We decided to go out to share
-
the love. Of God with.
-
Those who claim. Their sinners with those who.
-
Believe that they are. They are not important.
-
I am. Talking about the ghettos, we go
-
to one ghetto. And there's a lot of you see the
-
smoking. And in fact, yesterday I nearly
-
I, I. I in my spirit, I was like, no,
-
I will not go out to do evangelism.
-
I won't go out. But in fact.
-
Yesterday was the happiest days that I've ever stepped out to
-
make to, to do evangelism. You know why these people were
-
willing to receive cries. But you and I, we don't reach
-
out to these people, in fact. As I said, the consequences and
-
the. Challenges are so.
-
Enormous, but there is someone who sacrificed for you and.
-
I and you and I need. To sacrifice.
-
For that dying soul yesterday. Ladies before we left there.
-
My truth was eating me. I was serving some kind of
-
irritation within my truth. My brother Akumia was
-
complaining of headache. Why?
-
Because we have. We have eaten.
-
A forbidden food. Hallelujah.
-
Is because we want to save. We want to.
-
Save a dying. Soul, that is why we went there.
-
Amen. So there is a need for that to
-
sacrifice. Don't just.
-
Walk and come and sit here and go back for nothing.
-
In fact, let me let you understand this, that Our
-
Calling is as. Important as we.
-
Going out there to share the love.
-
Of Jesus Christ, you have been safe to go.
-
That is what I want you to know. You have been saved to go.
-
You are supposed to go the four corners.
-
Of the church is nowhere, you have to serve, you must serve
-
God. Amen.
-
Do you know what you know that? Do you know the desire of our
-
Lord Jesus Christ? The desire of our Lord.
-
Jesus Christ. Is a dying soul.
-
So if we say that, or if we are saying that we are followers of
-
Jesus Christ, we must do what our Master wants.
-
Our Master wants. Our Master is interested about
-
the dying soul. Are we not supposed to be
-
interested about it? Are we not supposed to look for
-
the dinosaurs then? What are we doing this morning?
-
I don't want to prolong my talks, but what goal want you to
-
understand, and I am reminding you, is that there is someone
-
out there dying. Going to ask you that your
-
brother, that family that I put you there what have you done
-
about it Have you served them? Your family are dying without
-
receiving Christ. Your colleagues at the website
-
is dying without receiving Christ.
-
You are silent and that. Is why I'm saying that a silent
-
Christian? It's a dangerous Christian, and
-
I want you to know. That there.
-
Is a reward. When you dedicate your life to
-
whistles, I don't want to quote the Bible.
-
That's a lot that the Bible is telling us.
-
That when you whistles. There's a lot to benefit.
-
And any soul that is very repent heavy rejoice.
-
Just imagine if heaven is rejoicing of one soul.
-
Being saved. Why are we?
-
Quiet. Why?
-
Do we have to be silent? Hello.
-
Is that a calling? Is that Our Calling?
-
Please, I'm asking is that Our Calling?
-
Our Calling is to go out there. Jesus is saying that go.
-
He didn't say sit down, just comfortable in the church, but
-
go out there and save. The dying soul.
-
So now this morning, who are you serving?
-
Who are you saving? God is telling you, go out
-
there. And save the dying soul.
-
God bless us all. Amen.
-
Oh, to. Jesus, I surrender.
-
Oh. To.
-
Him I freely, oh I will ever trust and trust his presence
-
deeply. Oh.
-
I surrender. I surrender.
-
I surrender. To me, my as I see one.
-
More time. I surrender, I surrender.
-
I surrender. I surrender.
-
And all head bow, you are here. You know that this man called
-
Jesus. You don't know him.
-
You've not received him into your heart.
-
Today is an opportune time for you to receive this Jesus into
-
your heart. Bible says that through him all
-
things were made and nothing was made without Him.
-
Nothing was made that has been made.
-
You can't do life without Jesus. He is the.
-
Very. Light of the world.
-
He says that I am the light of the world.
-
He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness.
-
But shall have the light of life.
-
He is eternal life. He is life here and life to
-
come. If you don't know Jesus, you
-
will struggle in this earth, and you will struggle in the earth
-
or in the world to come. Maybe you've wandered somewhere
-
and then you've come to the realization that I need a
-
Savior. I need to make things right.
-
My life is not going well with me today.
-
I want to recommend Jesus Christ.
-
To you. When you receive him into your
-
life, you suddenly have meaning for this world or for this life
-
if you are here. If not accepted, Jesus, I want
-
you to just lift up your right hand with me.
-
All eyes close, thank you my sister.
-
If not accepted all you've wanted and you realize that you
-
need a savior, you need to make things right, or you are a
-
Christian and you've wanted and you want to come back to Jesus,
-
there is room for you. The blood of Jesus speaks better
-
things than the blood of Abel. The blood of Jesus is enough to
-
wash you from all your sins. It is enough to restore you
-
today. You want to make it right.
-
I want you to lift. Lift up here and come forward.
-
Take a bold step and come forward.
-
Take a bold step and come forward.
-
You've wanted, you want, you want to come back to Christ.
-
Take a bold step and come forward.
-
Don't feel shy. Don't feel shy.
-
Take a bold step. This is the best decision of
-
your life. This is the best decision of
-
your life. Take a bold step and come.
-
You know that you need Jesus Christ in your life.
-
You know in your heart that you don't have Jesus.
-
You know it in your heart. Today you want to take a bold
-
step and come forward. Take a bold step and come
-
forward. I am waiting for, I'm counting
-
one to five. If you don't know Jesus, if you
-
want that and today you want to make things right, come, Take a
-
bold step and come. There is room at the cross for
-
you. Take a bold one. close all eyes
-
close. Please come to Jesus now.
-
He's the only one that can give you meaning in this life.
-
He's the only one that can give you true peace and true, true
-
joy too. Jesus is calling you.
-
Jesus is calling you. Though no sin is greater than
-
the blood of Jesus, there is no sin that the blood of Jesus
-
cannot wipe away. 3 Come, come, come, come, don't feel shy.
-
There is no blood. There is no sin that this blood
-
cannot wipe 3.
