Briefly with you, a message that I've tagged.

Desiring God in this. Entertainment world Desiring God

in this entertainment world. And I said entertainment world

since we are young, we know. How this world is becoming the

world is. Becoming more entertaining.

If I say entertaining or entertainment, things that will

please you, things that will make you happy, things sometimes

will push you not to meditate, but just what the body responds.

The desires of the body. It gets you dancing, gets you

desire them more, and many other things, the eye and the fleshly

desires So more than the spiritual aspect of it.

But friends, before Jesus was betrayed, he came as a savior.

He came as a ransom. He came to deliver us from

darkness into God's light so that we become friends and

family of our most high goal. He came to draw us back to God

himself, but knowing surely that the world will be more darker

than as it was before. He came as a light so that those

who come around to Him. Will draw nearer to the light.

I pray that your uttermost desire in this life that you

draw more. Nearer to God.

There's a songwriter who said that my my songs unto thee, my

prayer unto thee, that Lord God, draw me nearer unto you.

Draw me nearer unto. You you see, in our time we get

more attached to our phones, more attached to our gadgets,

more attached to the media, in fact more attached to things

around us more than God himself. And though we have Bible on

these phones, but how many of us stick to our Bible on the phone

than the social aspect of it? Even as we are seated here,

someone may be tempted as I am talking to you, someone may be

tempted to go to the social media, to the Facebook.

To the Facebook. All over.

All over and that. Is what I just want to draw

attention that we have come to a crossroad of an entertainment

world where people. Want to be entertained?

Where people want to hear where what what their itching years

will be hearing. Where people want to see.

People want to experience things that will please them, things

that will urge them. So people are desperate to work

with their head and even even to understand what their stomach.

People walk with their head and they understand their stomach.

What? The stomach will bring to the

body. But I pray that.

God will help us. Oh Hallelujah.

Oh Hallelujah. And what we talk about desiring

is the things that people yearn for.

If I say to desire things that you work hard towards, things

that you give attention to, things that you wish you have

gotten there desire, it motivates your zeal.

It motivates your understanding. It gets you poised to do them

more because you want to get there.

Paul once said that stretch hard that you get there, desire to

do, desire to have it. Desire and I.

Pray that you desire God, but nothing else.

You desire. God, but nothing else.

We want to take our first reading.

Our first reading will be taken. From Second Corinthians.

2 Corinthians 4 · chapter mention

Chapter 4, verse four and then the verse 6.

Version The Bible says the God of this age has blinded the

minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the

gospel. The light of the.

Gospel on the line that displays the glory.

Of Christ on the line who? Is the image of.

God. The God of this age has blinded

the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the

gospel that displays the glory of.

Christ. Who is the image of God then?

6 For God, who said, let's light shine out of darkness, made his

light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the

knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ,

displayed in the face. Of Christ.

You know, Paul by in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit

was bringing to the attention of the hearers that there is a

wicked man, there is a God of our time, there is a ruler of

our age. And then his scheme, his tactics

is to blind the mind of unbelievers.

You know, unbelievers are people who are far from the gospel,

people who are far from the truth, people who are far from

Christ, people who are not willing to give in their life to

God so that they become sons and daughters of God.

But the mechanism, the man behind all these things, that

the devil forever comes to steal, kill and destroy.

But Jesus said that he came that we might have life and have it

more abundantly. And so these are the disparity

between the two, that Jesus came that you might have life and

have it more abundantly, but never came to steal, kill and

destroy. And so he's a killer, He's a,

he's a chief, he's a destroyer. But God came that you will have

more life and abundantly say Hallelujah.

And so if these two agents are put before you, I believe that

you will desire to have a life, you desire to have a grace, you

desire to to leave the more if these two people are put before

you. But its not easy sometimes you

can easily say that if these two people are put before me, I will

easily attach myself to the light and we easily attach

myself to Jesus. But the mechanism for which the

enemy steals the mindset and the focus and the direction of

people is so amazing. More especially in our time, the

young ones, the young ones. So I've come to share my life

with you. I've come to share that there is

light, there is power, there is grace in the law.

Amazingly, Paul said that the people have form of godliness,

but they have denied the power thereof.

There is a kind of power that God gives to people who come

around to him, that that power will hold them to remain under

his feet. That power will hold them.

To remain under his feet, but. The the the devil comes to

steal, kill and then destroy. And so Paul writing to the

church in Corinthians saying that the God of this age has

blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they will not believe

the gospel. They will not believe the gospel

because they will not see the light of the gospel that

displays the glory of Christ the the light of the gospel.

You know the gospel bring illumination.

The gospel, you know, brings you from darkness to the light.

The gospel has power, has authority, has grace, that

whatever surrounds your life will become that of God, the

gospel. Praise the Lord.

Hallelujah. And so this year's focus is that

we will be unleashed to, to, to, to save this world by the gospel

and the power. Of the Holy Spirit.

And so Paul is saying that the enemy, the wicked one, has

blindfolded many, that they would not see the light of the

gospel that displays. The glory of Christ.

So the Gospel displays the glory of.

Christ, I here with me this morning.

Oh Hallelujah. The gospel displays the glory of

Christ, and when you are fully consumed, saturated by the power

of the Lord and the Word, there is a kind of glory that

surrounds your life. The gospel gets hold of your

life. And when the gospel gets hold of

your life, the gospel reposition you to come to the arena of

grace that God's glory surrounds your life.

And he say that who is the very image of God.

And so when when you the gospel come unto you now God brings you

to his light, you come out of darkness into his life.

And then you begin to experience God's glory.

And then you begin to experience the presence of God.

How I pray that God will strengthen us as we are about

to. Die with the Lord.

I am sharing this with you because now before Jesus.

Was betrayed, he knew. Very sure that he be betrayed.

Of course he came as a ransom, that he would give his life for

us as an offer, as a sacrifice, that through that his life will

atone for our sins, that God will have mercy on us and bring

us back unto himself. But then, but then Jesus said

that surely it will happen by the one through whom it comes,

comes beyond that one. And so do it may happen, but it

should not be you. Lo and behold, there was one man

among his cabinet, among his people.

One man who has been coming to Jesus fellowship.

One man who has been coming to church every Sunday like you are

seated. Here and you know.

Him by name Judas. Quite recently I was talking and

I said that amazingly people don't want to name their

children after Judas. But we are not talking about the

name, but the character, the nature.

People don't want to. And then if somebody is named

Judas, you will see all kinds of names and all kinds of eye and

the way people pointing their hands on them.

But amazingly, in our time, people are called Angel, but

they are darker than the Judas of our time.

The Bible says that when the leaders were looking for

opportunity to lay hand on Jesus, a Jew that has decided

and went to them by saying that how much are you willing to

offer me if I betray him to you Remember the God of this age has

blinded the minds of. Unbelievers.

But you are a believer, you are a child of God and don't get

yourself loose that you will be blinded by the things of the

world. I pray in the name of Jesus that

those who come daily under the feet of the Lord will not go

back to the world and begin to behave differently, begin to

lead your life differently. And that is the desire of

leadership. That the church will set the

pace, That the church will become the measuring Rd.

That the church will become people, become the light.

That the richest, the way that people will look through the

church. And see Jesus.

Desiring God. In this entertainment world.

The world is becoming. More entertaining.

Entertaining. More entertaining, More

entertaining. More entertaining, More

entertaining. Oh.

How I pray, if there's anything that will entertain you, it will

be the power of the Holy Spirit, it will be the word of God, it

will be the presence of God. To be the presence of God.

And the Bible says that the Hansi betrayed Jesus, hadn't

done the lay hold of Jesus beating him, saying all kinds of

things. And finally he saw that Jesus

was being led to be crucified. The Bible said the money that he

got when you read Matthew chapter 27 verse one to three.

And your life and my life. Should not betray Jesus.

The the devil is more smarter and scheming.

And I said one time that one. Of the mechanism.

In our time. That the devil is using very

smart is fashion. The devil is so smart, he's

choosing fashion even to erode, even to draw those who are in

the light. Fashion.

Very powerful tool, Very powerful tool.

May you not be caught in the snare of the enemy.

Shout our man. Oh, shout our man.

And then for the enemy to cause you to be blind, that means that

you will not know your way out before you.

You are aware. You are trapped before you are

aware. You are in it.

Before you are aware you have been caught in the web.

Of the enemy. And then getting back.

Becomes difficult for you. Getting back becomes difficult

for you. And then the same chapter.

Of the Second Corinthians. Verse chapter 4/15/18 Say that

all this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching

more and more people may cause Thanksgiving to overflow to the

glory of God. Therefore, we did not lose

heart. Though outwardly we are Wesson

away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day for our light

and momentary troubles, achieving for us an eternal

glory that far awaits. Them.

All so we fix our eyes not on what is.

Seen listen. So we fix our eyes on not what

is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary,

but what is. Unseen is eternal.

Oh Hallelujah, what is. Unseen is internal.

Soon our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the one who gave his

life, was crucified, died, buried, rose again, and sat on

high. Very soon as we did see him, He

will come again and those who are found in him.

Will be caught in the air with him.

I pray that this will be your. Desire.

This will be your desire. You know, when we talk about

blindness, I often say that if you bring a child, a baby who

is. Crowing.

And then a man. Who can run?

And if that man is blind and the baby?

The baby can crawl. If you set a distance for them,

it will amaze you. Sometimes the baby who is

crowing will reach the end. Than the blind man.

And spiritual blindness is so miserable.

Spiritual blindness. It is so disturbing.

Spiritual blindness can cause damage.

Spiritual blindness can cause a great loss.

But those of us who are in the light.

Must. Remain in the light.

Of God. People's deeds are more into

darker than the light. Because these are becoming more

evil than probably you might think about.

Desire, desire God, even in this perishable, entertaining well.

Perishable. Entertaining.

Well. In our time, most people it is

good to have a smartphones, but what we have seen that people

would not mind, will not, will not check the end effect about

the process that they send on the Facebook.

And so sometimes you pick. Now you go to Facebook and

somebody, a Christian, can pick the.

Phone and they begin to video. Himself video has served

sometimes the the dresses that that person has it on probably

may think that, but it is good. You look good on the phone, but

the information that you put on the Facebook cannot be delayed

even in 100 years. That information.

And when you grow, you become all responsible.

Sometimes God gives you grace and God elevates you somewhere.

And when the same information pops up, you turn your back.

The God of this age, very smart, blinding people.

I pray that your eyes will be hoping God will open the eye of

your understanding so that your commitment to Jesus.

Will be real, will not be on their mind.

By anything that. Comes your way.

May the Lord help. US.

Oh, may the Lord help us. May the Lord help us.

May the Lord help. Us the.

Goal of the enemy is blind you. The goal of the enemy is to

distract you. The goal of the enemy that's to

cause you to embrace anything that goes everything we are in a

period of. Everything goes fashion and

competition. We are in the world of whatever.

ISM whatever goes. How do I get there?

How do I get richer? How do I get popular?

This is the world that we are in.

This is the world that we are in.

But it is more blessing to be popular in the things of God.

Hallelujah, more blessing to be richer in the.

Things of God more blessing. And so the Bible says through

Paul said that God, Jesus though in the very image of God, but

never count. Equality to be God.

But Humble himself suffered pain as a servant to the point of

death, even death on the cross. And he said that therefore God

has given him a name above every other name when you analyze.

You could. See that?

How could that person get so low yet?

God has given him a name above every other name.

You know godliness. Pays godliness and holiness, it

pays godliness, living for God, certainly your life as an

example, whatever that you are, it pays and.

God will glorify you, you become an example unto many and that is

why I just want to encourage you all that we all will desire to

know God that more even in this entertainment world.

In this entertainment world. And then those of us when we

come to Ghana and sometimes some of the things.

That we see we. Begin to get ourselves trouble

because over there, even in the cold time sometimes you begin to

see how sometimes we see that the whites the summer time.

They they they go half naked, but.

In Ghana is getting. More rough, getting more rough.

I pray that you will not be part of that, men and women.

You will not be part of that. Hallelujah.

You will not be part of that. You will not get yourself.

Blind, there is a need for total turn around, turn back to the

law, because it is only the gospel that set people back to

the law and strengthen that, passing the weak hand and the

feeble hands to be more stronger and attached to God because

there's power. In.

The Word of God and then the Bible uses that he has a blinded

the minds of unbelievers with hot metal.

While the Bible does not explicitly mention hot metal, in

the book of 2nd Corinthians 4 verse 4, the phrase that

blindfolding means that he has the three words of antiwear that

he has attached. What metal in the minds?

Of people and so. The the veins.

And the. Arteries.

And everything gets stuck. If you know radio.

When the wires get attached. It does not function.

That's how the. Enemy does to the mind.

So that though you are a. Believer.

You are a spiritual man and when?

You become a. Carnal man where?

You know the truth, but you are not not able to decide.

Good for yourself and good for people around you.

That makes you a carnal man. And a carnal man though has the

mind of God, but still cannot leave as God wants him to leave.

And that is the mechanism that the enemy uses to draw people

back onto himself. I pray that.

God will help us. I pray that God.

Will help us I. Pray that God.

Will help us. Go by the inspiration.

And the power of His word. Through Paul spoke in the book

of first. Timothy chapter one verse 5 and

6 says that. The goal of this command is

love, which comes from a pure heart.

And a good conscience and a sincere faith.

Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless

talk. Some have this departed from

these and have ended in meaningless talk.

And so when the mind is made, when the mind is.

Captured by the enemy, your talk, your speech becomes

meaningless there. Is no value of the word of God,

there's no direction for people to know God and so in our time

in our day, I pray that you will not be captured by the enemy

where you become an agent that the West.

From you will be meaningless, by your W will be meaningful.

That bring light and direction. Unto many we are.

Looking for people, agents, people that God will unleash

them, people that God will trust them, people that God will

position them wherever they are, that their words will carry

weight and power their. Words will carry weight and

power. May you be 1.

Oh, may you be one in that marriage, in that workplace.

Maybe they will passing that your words.

Will. Carry so much life.

That people would desire to be like you.

And when? Things are not going on well.

We would desire to call you because.

You have first desired God, even in a terrible time, and you

become a light. Unto many Hallelujah, you become

a light unto many see when? When young men are getting more

older. Their messages are more longer.

Their messages are more longer. I'm a young man.

An old man, Young old man. By the grace of.

God, I will be retiring next year but now I have more grace

to have more two years. So now I've been giving more two

years to work as I will be retiring more next year and

that's how young I am. Praise God, oh Hallelujah.

And the word of God has life. It sets you loose, it sets you

free, it sets you reposition you that evenly bodily.

You become more healthier, more healthier.

Desire God. In this entertainment world.

Desire God in this entertainment.

As I am. About to wrap up.

One thing that you need to do then hold fast.

To the word of God, because the Word of God is powerful.

Hold fast to. The Word of God Hold fast to the

Word of God. Is able to direct you.

The Bible says that it's a sharper than double edged sword.

Is able to Pierce and then divide even the soul.

The word of God. Is able to work on you.

When they take the excesses from you, you become a refined man, a

refined woman, a woman who is cultured, a man.

Who is cultured? You are being taught by the word

of God, so that your thoughts. Are changed to focus on the

Lord, the Word of God, and. Then to meditate on the word.

Of God. Meditate.

Meditate on the Word of God. And at three, let prayer be your

lifestyle. Let.

Prayer be your lifestyle. Pray without ceasing.

Pray without ceasing. If you want to desire him, if

you want to desire him, pray without ceasing, because things

around you will speak volumes. But when prayer becomes focused,

when prayer becomes your strength, that will tell you

which will direct you. To the things of God and you

will not be swayed by the things that goes on every day.

The world is becoming more entertaining.

How I pray that you will not be trapped by the things on social

media. Many good Christians are being

trapped, and sometimes. Their commitment and their zeal

has been undermined. It's watered down because of

social. Media, but you.

Let a word of God be your focus. Oh, Hallelujah And so.

The Word of God, prayer and also get yourself.

More committed and then. Be content.

Be content be content, be content the.

Enemy was able to draw Judas onto himself because he was not

content. But amazingly, the things that

he had, the money that he had, he went back and throw to them,

get it back, but say we're not getting it.

That's not our business. It's your business.

And so people can want to do anything, everything, to get

money by the end of it. They can't enjoy it so much, but

you, may you take the good way, the good way of the Lord, that

your focus is to desire Him who gave His life as a ransom, that

those who come around to Him will be with Him in the light.

And then they have this hope that since He will come again,

what kind of people are we to be?

We are to still focus and remain under His feet.

I pray that God will help us, that God will help us, That

contentment will be the yastick, and God will help us when things

are getting darker. The light of the Lord will draw

us into His Kingdom. May the Lord bless us.

Let's bother your head. Let's bother your head.

There's a need for us to enjoy daily fellowship with the Son of

God. If we want to desire him, enjoy

daily fellowship with the Son of God.

There's a need that our eyes, the eyes of our heart, will be

enlightened to know. What is the hope?

Of our. Calling and the riches of the

glory of our. Inheritance in the.

Lord, immeasurable greatness, Greatness.

Of God's power towards believers that will hold on to Him.

That in all things, at all time. The Lord will appear, and the

Lord God will help you even in time of need if you want to

desire Him. There are troubles, there are

hardships. That things that make people

easier to decide and do it you. Will.

Ask. The Lord 1st And sometimes it

may seem that you are being set back, but still as you desire

Him, the Lord God, the waymaker, He will make way for you.

He will make Wick for you. Begin to bless God, begin to

pray. Begin to deepen yourself in the

Lord. Lift your voice in prayer.

God will set you. Loose from any entanglement, any

entanglement and anything that you get yourself involved and

that I end that you know that this is not the way of the Lord

The power of the Lord in His word is able to change our

inner. Man the.

Word of God is able to change. Our inner man is able to

translate. Our inner man is able.

It is only the word of God that's able to give a sight,

able to give. This is my desire this morning

to honor you, Lord. This is my desire, oh God, to

honor you, Lord. Shall we lift our voice in

prayer? Shall we lift our voice in

prayer? If you can stunt your feet in

prayer. If you can stunt your feet in

prayer and come on, begin to pray.

Ask in the Lord. We.

Want to raise our hands on to God if we really want to desire

God. If we want to desire God in this

entertainment where there is a need to set our affection on the

things that are above, we become more heavily minded, become more

heavenly minded. But the Bible?

Says that since then you have been raised with Christ.

Set your heart on the things above, where Christ is seated at

the right hand of God. Set your minds on the things.

Above, not everything's. Just let your.

Hands and the earthly things are.

Consuming other things. Are.

Eroding people's fate? Earthly things are getting

people off the track, and these are schemes and the mechanism of

the enemy. The God of his age has a

blindfold in the minds of unbelievers, that they will not

know here the gospel, and then they will.

Come to the light of God, which is the glory in Christ Jesus, as

we lift your hands. As you lift your hands that day

Jesus said, one of you will betray me.

And they start saying that it is me.

And the one who was about to betray Jesus so boldly came to

Jesus asking him, I am the one. Am I the one?

He said. Yes, you are.

So he did not repent. I pray that as your hands are

lifted and you know your weakness and I know my weakness,

as we go from this auditorium, the Word of God, the power of

God, the grace of God will saturate our lives and become

people that God has reposition into his light, that God is

unleashing us, that wherever that we go, we carry the

presence of God. We walk at people who have our

eyes. Physical and spiritual eyes are

there now. Begin to pray.

Begin to pray. We may desire you, Lord, our

I pray this morning that the Spirit of God will reach you

wherever you are, that in brokenness you begin to reflect,

and that you ask God's grace to help you to overcome any

limitation, any shortfall that easily entangles you.

That is, it draws you to the arena of the enemy, the kings

and the liars of this world. That draws you before you

realize you are in it. And then you said how miserable

the good I want to do, I am unable to do.

But the bad the. Wrong.

What the wretched man in prayer? Just be seated in prayer and I

want to cancel you this morning. I want to cancel you this

morning. There is a.

Kind of urgent. That is swiftly eroding

godliness, the fear of God, holiness.

From God's people knowing the good.

But still. Want to attach to the dark the

bad because it makes it easier for them as you are seated and

we are about to come to the table.

I pray this. Morning that if.

You re. Align your life.

With the gospel, the. Power that set men free.

You'll be free indeed, and that you will become a witness of the

light that set people free. For the God of his age has

blinded the minds of unbelievers.

But fans, be to God that you are a believer.

You were a child of God. You were a child of the light.

Darkness has no control over you and therefore set your mind and

the things on high. Where Christ is seated there,

soon and very soon He will come and take His own, and I pray

that I'll be one of them. May you not succumb to the

entertaining world. By you be attached to the things

of God. He died for me.
